Easily the best food I’ve ever had in Jönköping!

Menu the day you normally will have three different options. Menu cost around 120sek and come with a salad, bread, water, and coffee in the end. The service is quickly so you will have to food staring way … I had a fish and the quality is acceptable but I would not say that is so good.

The food was good, we like it. We ordered beer which tasted good too. The potion suits me, I become very full. We ordered två dishes each. It's nice place and quite även have some customers.

Food is delicious 😋 Vegetarian 🌱 risotto it was really incredible. Shiraz it was Australian 🇦🇺 red wine 🍷 Atmosphere is great... Quite and good place to eat in Aqua Dinner & Drink... The best 👌

The pasta is right cook ,but.the sauce and shrimp is no as good as i predict. The shirmp still have gut and sauce is over sweet for a Asian. By the way, the service is ok .

One of the two dishes was very tasty (seafood risotto) and nicely served. Unfortunately the second dish (pizza) was disppointing as it lacked of flavour. Restaurant was supposed to be open for about two more hours but many things were already picked up and put away - this made the service to be very slow. It is great located and has a lovely view.

Friendly staff but pub food not very inspiring. Had the cheese that lacked inspiration. The spicy dip sauce was basically Mayonnaise only. Fries ok but few and burger small and dry. However, proper meat, so..... well, you draw your own conclusions...

The view is the best part. I've had both great and mediocre service at different times. Food is all right. Really depends on what you order. Best thing about the place are the cocktails and the main bartender who's a cocktail genius. Bar service upstairs is pretty good.

One of the best lunch experiences in Jönköping. I had the baked cod. Very friendly and service oriented. Taste and size of the food just perfect. Salad buffet and bread also very good. Coffee and a small cookie for dessert . If one is to have one tiny complaint, it is the tiny size of the salad plates.

Excellent experience both times we visited. Location and views are in line with great food. Simple but solid choice of meals, had great pastas, king prawns and probably my best pizza in Jonkoping - marinara, proper italian style. A must visit when in town.

Came back for round two and had the same consistent amazing experience. Happy to confirm that this review stands unchanged. Rivals best restaurant’s in all of Scandinavia, (Oslo, Copenhagen and Stockholm included). I have seen many places reaching hard to deliver the quality of service and food that Hemma calmly delivers. I trust these people and would pay double. This is an absolute gem, if it was a publicly traded company I would buy stock.

A very cosy restaurant that really give [hemma] vibes! We went for lunch and had the day’s lunch which was chicken schnitzel with red wine sauce. It was delicious and the portion was just perfect. Everything was very well set with salad and bread already on the table with excellent presentation. The lunch also includes coffee and desserts. Highly recommended!

We recently visited Bryggan Café & Bistro in Jönköping, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The view of the lake is absolutely scenic, creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere — perfect for a coffee break. The latte was rich and satisfying, and the cappuccino was equally smooth and well-balanced — both were exactly what we needed while soaking in the peaceful surroundings. Service is fast and efficient, though it’s self-service, so we wouldn’t really rate that part. Still, everything was handled smoothly. The overall atmosphere is fantastic — a great place to sit and relax. We’d definitely recommend Bryggan Café & Bistro — a solid 5 out of 5 for the view, the drinks, and the overall experience!

The cafe's ambience and atmosphere are truly remarkable. Situated next to the lake, the reflection of lights and buildings in the water creates a mesmerizing scene. It's a fantastic spot for a Fika, offering a tranquil and picturesque setting to enjoy your coffee and pastries.

Very nice ambient with a very nice view, good food and Coffee. The sizes are sometimes a little decent, didn’t make a lot of experiences on the staff yet. The price is really good for the location. During lunch time the coffee is even for free with the menu which is really nice.

First-class prawn salad here with a great quiet Sunday view over the water. Staff were good and spoke English. Help yourself to hit water for tea (meaning refills!) and plenty drinking water available for free, too, which is a bonus in expensive Sweden. Latte was a good size and temperature but possibly needed an extra shot for the bigger glass. All round, it was very satisfying. Thanks

Really nice cafe. Lovely ambience, cool music and vibes. We had a Mango and Passion Fruit Green Tea and Hot Chocolate, both were very good. Would have stayed for lunch but it was only 10am. The food smelt amazing! Staff were very helpful and quick. Will come back here.

Nice place with a very inviting view of a little cove and a modern lake front. Short menu with decent food for young crowd at reasonable prices. Good coffee, nice cakes, good sandwiches, pictures attached.

A restaurant with high ambition but not reaching all the way. What really kicked them off the five-star position was the way the chefs handled the feedback on over-salted food... it was not appreciated by them... yes, we were three persons in our party who got super-salted fries, and my stake was also salty. Not impressed. When there are a lot of people the atmosphere changes from fine dining to noisy pub.

I ordered the Irish steak with the Au Gratin potatoes and a side of lemon/shallot tomatoes. Everything was well prepared with a visually pleasing presentation. Our waitress was quite helpful with excellent recommendations and timely in keeping our drinks filled. The atmosphere was low lit and quite relaxing for my friends and I. If I had to make a critique, the wooden chair backings were uncomfortable when one leans back into the material. But this is only to make a perfect experience more so.

Pros: Nice and ambient interior, kind staff. Cons: we had hamburgers and steaks and it was decent but not worth the price. It looks nice though. But the chef need to work on how to bring forward the taste. That also goes for the desserts. It feels prefabricated. The service is ad hoc style, the espresso is very bitter. If we only would rate the foods taste, at that price, we would have give a 2-star I’m sorry to say but this will not be something to visit again. There’s better in Jonkoping.

Excellent food and service, tentative personal who where not overbearing. The food was well made and it was a very smooth and timely without much wait for the next dish. The menu had a great variety without being overly complicated. The starters were definitely the star of the meal and the mandelpotatis and löjrom was excellent.

I hqd the season burger. The mushroom mix makes a lovely texture and taste. The porkbelly enhances the flavor. The bun was soft yet firm. However. The patty was served well done Brownies with vanilla ice cream for dessert

A beautiful modern setting that is definitely fun to eat in. The minus point is for the size (the burger is definitely too small) and for the fact that the burger is seasoned with far too much pepper, so that the pure taste of meat was lost. Overall still worth a visit!

Didn't really deliver. The patty really tasted home made but was a tad too fatty. The location could really be better, the shopping mall is a dud. I had the Truffle burger but what I got from it was mostly a taste of fat and truffle. Good fries, great chipotle dip.

Just had an amazing first time experience at Bada Bing Burger. The reception and service were laid back and welcoming. The food arrived after just about ten minutes. I ordered a 'Bagarn' burger and the 'Fried Corn' basket. The burger was simply delicious. Encased in a soft bun the meat was savoury and rich in taste. Perfectly mixing sweet and salty with the additional (and unorthodox) toppings. The Fried Corn was served as ribs and was a fresh alternative to the regular chips/fries. I found this restaurant on a whim while searching for a place to eat on the road and this particular restaurant could be accessed just three minutes off the E4. No need to settle for a fast food joint when you can enjoy properly made burgers and a comforting atmosphere just as easy!

Started off well but ended terribly. After ordering I think they might have forgotten what we asked for. 45 minutes later they saw us looking a bit fed up so then told us there was a technical problem even though people that came after us were still getting their food sent to them. They did generously offer a 25% discount which we were happy with. However even after all that, people were arriving and still getting their food whilst me and my family were waiting for another half hour at least. We decided to leave, the first time in my life we’ve ever made that decision. It was likely a one off but I think if the staff had just been upfront and honest about what happened we would’ve stayed to eat. I’ve worked in the service industry before and would have been totally fair with them.

It’s a pity I didn’t get a better photo of the food, but it was so good we just dug right in. Bomb burger and the halloumi Caesar salad was out of this WORLD. We were just stopping over for one night in Jonkoping but boy are we glad this is where we ended up, Woody made us feel super welcome and was the cherry on top of our awesome experience there. Wish I could visit again!

Good seafood restaurant for lunch or dinner. One of the best places to eat in Jönköping. I ate the Magda's Menu and got full. The area where it's located is very nice.

Delicious fish n chips, including chocolate cake, coffee for dessert and lunch salad. The fish batter was just done right by British standards, the potatoes were cooked also just right (crisp on the outside while soft and moist on the inside) and the salad side on the dish with cooked cherry tomatoes gave it the right level of sweetness and sour. Highly recommended!

Amazing place, especially for celiac disease people recommended, because the kitchen deliberately cleaned some area to make it free of contamination. Not sure they can always guarantee this hut they will try their best, the waiters were really considerate and aware. Also gluten free beer was available. Amazing fish quality, the sashimi was really great.

Central location but a bit hidden from the crowds that you can encounter directly at the lakes. A pleasant interior. Food was OK however a cheese sauce was rather a flour-sauce. No chance to get a pepper grinder if you like a freshly ground pepper on your dish. Maybe a detail but it’s something I would expect in a proper restaurant. The staff was very friendly however they couldn’t recommend which wine would work well with the food ordered. Disappointing, considering it’s an Italian place with Italian (hopefully) wines on the menu. The waitress tried to be as helpful as possible and it’s not her fault the manager didn’t invest in any basic training for the staff. It seems the place pretends to be a decent Italian restaurant but it’s closer to a pizza takeaway.

Pretty good pizza, had the Valtellina, the crust slightly mushy for my liking, but still good. The trufflecream I felt missed a little flavor, but the ruccola was fresh. A bit on the expensive side, payed +300 sek for a pizza and a beer in May of 2025.

Delicious lunch buffet. Their Pizzas are so good and the Svamp soppa is amazingly delicious! One of the favourite lunch spots in Jönköping. Highly recommended. Note that Their lunch buffets are only on Fridays

Nice ambient atmosphere and lightning. A good restaurant without the wow effect, this applies to the food and service (slowish). With a little revamp this could be a star. The lobster pasta is nice, but the lobster seems more for the effect not meat.

Jönköping is s sleepy little town in south central Sweden and we spent the night there on a recent road trip. It was late (nearly 10pm…) but we found El Gordo and a fantastic waiter who went above and beyond to accommodate us. He let us sample some wine, got our food order in just before the kitchen closed and he was just as friendly and engaging as could be. The Vespertino red (Tempranillo) was outstanding. The pimentos de padron a little bulky and seedy. The patatas bravas were good and the cheese plate excellent. A very solid place and beautifully decorated inside. Outdoor seating on a pedestrian lakefront path was very nice.

We saw a very big difference in portion size of the different tapas to different tables and unfortunately, we were the ones with the smaller plates. Spicy labeled tapas arent a little bit spicy at all. Some tapas are served with 3 pieces which doesn't make it shareable for 2 persons. The goat cheese with white tartufo are 4 slices of cheese but only 3 crackers? Just make it equal slices of crackers... Service is nice & friendly. If food takes long, you'll get updates about the kitchen but we ordered water and never received it (wasn't charged in the end as well). Overall, too pricy for what it is.

Would havr given 5 start but service was very sad. Amazing food but the staff was just neglecting us, very sad to say this. We saw how the locals got treated and we got treated because the waitress was not even looking at our face or just very rude and neglective behavior. But on the other hand we saw how she treated other locals. Food was 100% great though. And very nice vibe. Just the service, make sure you treat everyone equally regardless of ethnicity.

We’re here on Valentine’s Day dinner. Starters were good, main dish (meat) absolutely tasteless, a desert had tasty sorbet and awful chocolate cake with bad taste and texture that sticks to a fork and teeth.

The signature steak tartare was great, also the snails. An interesting concept which should be on the list of a foodie/JKPG visitor. Professional and smiling service, a little more loud on Saturday (party of some kind).

The food was top notch!! We were a group of 5 people and have tried 4 different types of steaks, pizza and dessert! The steak we tried was the best steak I have had so far… pizza was very delicious and very very close to authentic Italian style, and the chocolate ball with ice cream was finger licking good!! This was an extraordinary dining experience... We were warmly greeted and service was steady fast. Exactly what I love. The kitchen area is open so you can see what and how the chefs are cooking. They serve their steaks on lava stones which are 400 degrees Celsius hot! You can finish cooking your steak however well done you like! I didn't take mine off immediately so it got burned a bit unfortunately. The waitress said if you put salt on the stone it will get easier to take the meat off but it just made my reindeer steak way too salty so be careful with the salt!! For starters we had moose and it was the most delicious meal I've ever tasted! It's a must try. Moose tastes something between ham and beef! Very nice. For desert we had chocolate melting bomb and it was the most delicious dessert I've ever tasted! I could not get enough!!! It was heaven! This restaurant is a definite must go.

Waitress was going to refill our water but completely disappeared, and some conversations in the restaurant by the same person had an aggressive tone from staff. A Serbian tapas Swedish stylee. My expectations were exceeded here. One of the best services in Jonkoping, friendly and professional. The food was very tasty, like the ribs, or the Goulash!, the only one I would not go for again is the duck, but it is probably only a personal thing as the duck we do in family is a stardom like. Great, kind, English speaking service. Good choice of drinks. And obviously, tasty food. We went for 8 tapas for 2. Selection was up to us and my favorites were the goulash, roast beef with chimichuri and serrano pie. Sangria was also very good. We didn't wait much either for delivery. It was affordable. The place, even if almost full (Friday), wasn't too noisy, the atmosphere was very pleasant. The downside of the night -no menu in English. We had to help ourselves with menu on website. Very recommended!

Had dinner here, Friday night. The place is pretty cool though it would be good to have a simple menu design. Currently, they're having many sheets of paper with very tiny print of the menus, dimmed lighting and you get two of these. Good drinks too. Quite cozy here🙂

And not very expensive so the value for your money is sky high. Took 8 tapas for 2 persons which was just the right size if your not super hunger and tend to go for the dressert as well :) Don't know the name of our waiter but the not too tall sleeve tattooed bearded guy was 5 stars. Everyone seemed very nice though :) A must go to place if you're in Jönköping.

We stopped by on a Sunday while exploring Jönköping and ended up having one of the best meals of our trip. I ordered BBQ ribs along with a burger, both cooked beautifully with a rich smoky taste and generous portions that left me fully satisfied. To go with it I had a strong local beer that paired perfectly with the food, while my partner chose a simple cola with ice and lemon. The whole experience felt relaxed and authentic, with that Swedish approach of focusing on quality and doing it really well. A place worth revisiting whenever I’m back in town.

Wow! It was a Sunday afternoon, visiting a little bit of Jönköping and found this place. It was an awesome culinary experience. BBQ ribs and a burger. Tasty meat, smoke flavor, good portions so you don’t feel hungry again after half an hour. Beer. Had a Sitting bulldog, 6,4% alcohol, which I strongly recommend 😉. Honestly the best steak I have ever had. Been here 3 times and their Ribeye is just outstanding. Meat had great marbling and my medium was always perfectly finished. Baked potato goes with it so much better then fries, choose it and then land a spoonful of garlic butter into it, you won't regret it. Excellent selecion of craft beer both on tap and draft.

Good and pricey beef (349 SEK July 2022). Really tender and taste in the high segment. Portion big enough for hungry parents. Nice place and nice staff.

The vegetarian tortellini with spinach, cream cheese, asparagus, mushrooms, baked tomatoes and cream sause was well cooked and very tasty. Really lovely little restaurant. I was here in Jonkoping for work for a couple of days and had to come for dinner twice here as it was just so good the first time! The staff are lovely too. Definitely get the ginger chilli chicken!!

This is an old but very cosy small hotel in the middle of Huskvarna. It has a restaurant with a good breakfast and where you can enjoy a well prepared dinner in the evening. The nearest shops are only a few steps away. You can easily go to the lake where you can find a nice little harbour. Also you can go for a walk in the hills where you will find a super nice view over the whole area of Huskvarna and the sea.

Comfortable hotel in a small quiet city. Enjoyed especially the breakfast which was well thought of, not just the regular stuff. The parking was a bit confusing and I believe I ended up taking a spot reserved for someone else. Was not super clear either that there was charge for the parking in the yard. There was a schuko I believe for charging the car but might have been reserved for someone or the reception was not sure.

Restaurant has enough choice, a bit overpriced but there is no competition around, the only real restaurant in town. Breakfast is poor compared to the other hotels in Jönköping area

I dare say it even tastes better than food I’ve had from Thailand! Service was perfect, the waiter was able to converse in over 9 languages and if you are an Asian, there’s a probability that he speaks your language too! Worry not if you are a local as de tala Svenska too. Atmosphere was cozy and comfortable, felt nice to be inside with great ambience and really a pleasure to be ending the year in such a humble place. Ordered 12, 17 and 20 if I remembered correctly. Would definitely be back for more!

As starter we eat tzatziki, which was tasteless and marinated artichokes which was ok. As second I choose tuna steak, it was dry and overcooked with pasta - definitely far from al dente ! All was tasteless as well . The best and most delicious was panna cotta , really tasty with good balance, not too much sweet ! I can recommend this place for great staff and atmosphere, but unfortunately not for food !

I’ve heard great things about the evening tapas at this place, but I’ve only tried the lunch today. Cozy atmosphere. Nice presentation of the food. Service was kind of rushing us, but they might be rushing customers in case the place fills up. Not a valid reason but might be a reason, though the place was empty when we walked in. We ordered the sirloin steak, which was completely overdone and dry. The sauce was incredibly salty, I needed much water after eating that sauce. Potatoes were underdone, needed maybe an additional 10 minutes. Very disappointed. I finished my meal as I was very hungry but my company simply couldn’t and left the plate. Side salad was a bit old and unexciting. However, the brownie dessert was very rich and delicious! But the star of the meal should be the main, not the dessert, and in this case, the main was the biggest disappointment. A company of five guys were sitting close and they were also struggling to get the meat down - it was very dry and hard to chew. Don’t think this is just another bishop arms. The food is pretty much perfect! We had the chicken with veggies and a portion of chips to share on the side. In retrospect didn’t need the chips. The chicken is soaked in lovely glaze and barbecued, perfectly cooked not dry. And the veggies are so flavorful. Very good value. Oh yes, staff as friendly as any country side pub on the isles. Not sure I’m still in Sweden?

So glad we chose to eat in this resto on a short visit to Jönköping. I was craving for sushi and dimsum and was not disappointed. We chose the dinner buffet where there was a wide spread of asian dishes from noodles, mongolian bbq, dimsum, sushi, sallad, seafoods, etc. And dessert! Price was reasonable. The ambiance and decoration of the resto was modern and neat. Lovely to see koi fishes swimming in the small pool. Such lucky charms! The staff was welcoming and they were quick to gather used plates, utensils, etc off the table. We surely will come back again!

We also ordered naan which was very thick and heavy, not light and fluffy as it should be. The food is nothing special on a buffet basis .

Ordered Vegan pizza and a marinara with extra toppings. Artichoke and red onions. On the vegan pizza the avocado was not ripe. The avocado and cherry tomatoes were put on top after the pizza was baked. On the marinara pizza the artichoke and red onions were also put on after baking. We did not like this. Edge of the pizza was black in some places. So keep that in mind when you order a pizza.

Was disappointed both with the food which was average and service. Definitely not for the price. Pasta was overcooked. It was hard to get the attention of the waitresses despite counter seats.

Great location with a harbor view. Nice design and interior. Seafood pasta is a bit overrated. The staff is good and offer a good service. Priser are at a usual level for this kind of location and restaurant type. The parking place is just a few minutes of walking distance. Overall a great place to have a lunch or dinner.

Small and generally a bit loud. The staff are quite attentive. The menu is simple and the quality if what you get is reasonable. For a quick get what you pay for dinner this place is ok. There is no experience here. You won’t really want to go back unless it’s a convoying option. Basically, if you are hungry, they feed you. You don’t drive more than ten minutes to eat here. That being said they have a good location and could step it up if they wanted to. Lots of potential, but that’s not on the menu. I will check it out again in a couple months. I

Ordered the Caprese salad. The Burrata was good, the tomato’s okey and fresh basil tasted nice although there was only two leafs. The addition to the classic recipe of Caprese of red onions and parsley I don’t really understand. Main course Pizza Calabrese. The pizzas att Ciro is always good but this time left in the oven a little to long. It is burnt underneath.

The best of Jönköping! Went on a trip in Jönköping and once we went to Ciro, we didn’t want to go anywhere else anymore. So we went there for 3 days in a row. 🤣 Couldn’t get enough of it! Very good service and very tasteful dishes!

I had high hopes for this restaurant, unfortunately it ended up disappointing. The meat was quite dry, bulgur wasn't good, the 'spicy' sausage wasn't spicy at all and I specifically ordered that because I wanted the heat. The pastries were dry as well. The best item was yoghurt and cucumber, that is the only food I can recommend from all of this. I hate to leave negative feedback but I'm so disappointed! So let's get to the good part. Ordering via phone was easy and the staff was very pleasant. When we came to the restaurant to pick up our food, the staff were also very nice. The interior of the restaurant looks great!

I was pleasantly surprised. Reading some of the reviews, it seemed that the quality was inconsistent, but for my experience it exceeded my low expectations. The steak pizza was my choice and I don’t regret it. The place was filled with guests, resulting in pretty loud noise levels, but that’s to be expected with a busy Friday evening. Overall, I recommend kajen 23 for some quality Italian food!

Simple, neat, student friendly (across the bridge from the uni). Basic menu, pizza, pasta. The scallops are a bit out of the scope here, but why not.

They are only able to make the cutlet well done. To me it already sums up a lot of the quality. The cutlet is still juicy. Buns are not roasted, but for sure they do something right, as the bun stayed together and did not melt down. Excellent service for a sports bar.

Perfect place to watch a sport match, if you don't see a screen from your place you probably are the unluckiest person ever. The food is also very good, I ate a cheddar cheese burger, portion size was enough. It was a little bit slow to be served at the bar but nothing really disturbing. You can also play a few games and from approx. Midnight the ambiance changes and you can dance a bit.

Don't get fooled by the a bit simple and cold atmosphere. The food and personal will compensate that double up! This is a great Lebanese restaurant with lots of food alternatives. The magic of making vegetables to really good food. Something that feels like magic for a swede. Very calm place so great place to settle down after work or likewise. Loved it.

Delicious Lebanese food at a very reasonable price. Big central parking space about 100 mtrs away. Impossible to park in front, as it is in a pedestrian zone.

The food was good and the staff were very nice. They had a lot of vegan and vegetarian options. There we also gluten free options. The food was nice but an entire plate was difficult to finish since they were generous with the amount of food we got. The food was more like street food. Overall the price was good for the food you got and it was a nice experience. I would recommend it if you are looking for something quick and not to expensive to eat.

Nice atmosphere how ever I am doubtful about the cleanliness of the restaurant. A part of a tea bag was in the jug of water that I had pay for. When I informed the restaurant staff about it their restaurant was ".. aww that happens all the time...". I tried to explain that this is a serious question about the cleanliness but fell in deaf ears.

Really nice buffet in a cheap price. We ate a lot and we had a nice tea with a little cake as a desert. We wish to visit it again next time that we are in Jönköping. Stuff was kind and very helpful. Gott nytt år! :) :)

Terrible service, we had to go to the bar when we wanted to order more, tried to wave to the waitress but no luck with that. I Like the brunch with pancakes concept but. No freshly squeezed orange juice, pancakes had a chemical taste and they forgot to put smarties and peanuts on the rocky road pancakes.

Would have rated 0 stars if I could. Went to the bar, with a total decent outfit, nice hair, clean makeup a happy mood to spend the night for the welcomehack event. Got stopped at the door because of ”dresscode” was not allowed to wear adidas clothes because ”workout clothes”. It says no where on their site or on the web that there is a dresscode or what it would possibly be in that case. Don’t get me wrong, I respect a dresscode and on the other hand I was better dressed than most of the people getting in before me. Would just appreciate information before actually going. (:

It's a restaurant in the afternoons and it's super tasty, in the night around 10ish it becomes a nightclub. Not my typ of arena, but the music is good and it's probably best place if u want to dance. The entry for the nightclub is 160kr around 15 euros

If you want to feel like having a party in 2010 this is your place, they definitely don't have new music. Every time I visit this place I get disappointed because of the music. It really becomes boring to listen such old music when there are so many new good songs

Good Italian restaurant, 700 m from city center. Helpful and polite staff, nice atmosphere. Food was good and tasty. We eat pepper steak and pikeperch file and both was good. Lobster soup has too much salt. Good vine selection for moderate prices.

This place blew us away, and it wasn't even where we planned on eating. There was no parking near the other restaurant so my wife said this place looked good and so we gave it a try and I'm glad we did. This was our last meal before heading back to Copenhagen and it was one of the best meals we had in Sweden. Want the best caesar salad of your life? Look no further. Sorry I didn't get any photos of it, guess we were too busy enjoying it! The staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions on what to eat, and also picked out a few good beers for me to try. Definitely a nice way to end the Sweden leg of our trip, especially after getting our stuff stolen out of our rental car in Stockholm.

Awesome and delicious restaurant in a kind of italian style. I come here approx. once a week and every time it is just great. Although it is more an Italian restaurant I can highly recommend the kebab pizza which is by far the best in town. Also the "Schnitzel" which come with roast potatoes, fresh peas and sauce hollandaise.

The staff is good but the food was very disappointing at that price. They also charged for plain refilled bottled water, which does not make any sense to me as we can drink water right from the tap anywhere in Sweden. will I go there again: no. Also I am not sure about how people would like to get their food when they order in a restaurant, I got it in silver foil. Thats not I expect if I want to eat in a restaurant.

Great standard burger with really good sweet potato fries. You can not choose how to have your burger, it is only served well done. I would have liked it little more medium. It was a bit cold in the restaurant so I recommend to bring a warm sweater.

Some what cozy restaurant that is more of a watering hole for the functional alcoholics. Food is just bad, feels like it has been frozen so probably was frozen. The pizza was swimming in grease and so called wood fired pizza was kind of a waste. Just avoid the disappointment and find something else to eat.

We have ordered fish and chips, oxfile pasta and burger. Fish and chips was ok, Pasta was very watery and very sweet but was ok to eat and the burger was very dry and lack any sauce. The waiter who worked there made us have the impression that she hates her job so you can imagine what kind of service you get. Toilets were packed with spiders in the ceiling.

Had such a nice time here! Food was great and we had dinner during the golden hour, so the view over the sunset was amazing! Service was good and they really care for their guests. Will definitely come back here when in Jönköping again! 😊 Was a lot of fun when the staff nicely told a duck that it was not welcome. 🤣😂 He kept coming back, so I'm pretty sure he was very happy with the place as well! 💕

Normally we don't like restaurants where there are people trying to talk you in. However this time we just made a reservation online and didn't know what kind of place it exactly would be. It was a very good choice! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything with a smile and they were kind enough to let us order the salmon, although it wasn't on the dinner menu. They were also dog friendly and gave him some water. The food was really good, didn't expect that from such a 'touristic' place. We had some starters and salmon and all were very tasty! Would definitely recommend it despite the fact of the touristic approach. And last but not least: amazing view!

I had a very nice experience at Tullhuset. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed — the staff were genuinely friendly and made the whole evening feel special. The location is beautiful, right by the water, and the view alone is worth the visit. We sat outside and watched the sunset while enjoying some delicious seafood.

Host was very eager to lure us inside but it was an obviously artificial, forced interest. The interest of course, is in making money, but it's nice to not be so aware of it. When we walked back by on our way home, the same host looked the other way and ignored us. Not a good vibe. Prices were very expensive. No view of the water.

Great place for a fika or a morning/afternoon snack. I personally wouldn’t suggest it for lunch or dinner because the choice is a bit limited and in my opinion a bit overpriced. Pastries and breads are great!

Went there with my wife and it was very crowded. The coffee was really bad almost like machine coffee. The pizza was salty and my wife noticed the guy handling the salt like it was the main ingredient. Alot of food contains salt from the start so adding it doesn't make sense unless you remove the low quality salty and don't add equal or more. Maybe the quality is better when there is less people. The Semla was extremely good

Wow!! I’ve had a great experience here. The pizza we’ve got was delicious and the atmosphere as well as the service were great! Very friendly service and there’s a sense for detail in the furniture. Definitely worth a visit!

Amazing place in Jönköping for pizza lovers! Situated in city center this modern and relaxing place absolutely must visit! Large selection of pizzas, salads, cakes! You can get perfect options for breakfast and something for dinner with glass of great wine! All food was delicious and fresh, staff was friendly and helpful! Modern scandinavian design and a lot of space, outdoor terrace for summer season! Definitely recommended to all, we will come back!

Good place to eat a hamburger and relax. We were able to sit outside with our dog, which was great. Even though you're "out", it's a covered area with heaters, so it's very nice and cozy -and you don't get wet if it suddenly starts raining. We had the Phil's Twin and BBQ burgers, both were tasty. Service was fast and friendly, and the bathroom was clean and stocked with everything.

Was here on a weekday evening with five other people. They were pleased with their appetizer, main course. I was told their pasta was excellent, so I ordered the pasta carbonara. It was visually stunning, 4/5. The taste was as tasteless like mine when I cooked it the other day. Not very seasoned, and I could barely taste the bacon. Either they picked the wrong type of bacon or it was just cooked very poorly. I'm quite sure they used some kind of dairy cream for the creamy part, which they shouldn't. That's a big no no, 1/5. For desert I ordered Eton Mess. I didn't know what it looked like so I googled it, and my order was not even close to the google result. The desert consisted of strawberry jam which was nice with some whipped cream and **store bought meringue**. I expected the meringue to be handmade, or at least creamy, 1/5. The place it self is nice, staff was also nice, 4/5. But the waiting time for the food at the time was an hour. Note that the poor rating is specifically pointed at my pasta and desert... And the waiting time. I'm sure the other dishes were better. I heard they switched owner and it was better before.

The location is great! Food is ok!

Long queues, over crowded, food tasteless, greasy to the extreme and limited ingredients to choose from. Absolutely not suitable for vegans, vegetarians or anyone with nut or fish allergies as you end up with ingredients on your plate that have been mixed with other peoples - I found a piece of pineapple and chicken in mine, neither of which I wanted. Staff were ok, not unfriendly. It was a little strange as it was an 'all you can eat buffet' with coffee and dessert included in the price but our party of 4 were charged 15kr each for a jug of plain tap water. At 230kr per head plus the cost of water, this was a highly disappointing meal. Needless to say, we won't be returning.

The food is really good.. I like the ambience and you can get vegan food as well. You take what you want on a plate get it fried and start eating. Dont forget the different sauces they have it makes it so much better..

They close at 22:00 and I was here at 21:25 and figured that was plenty of time to dine in however you could not dine in at this hour. You could only order take out. I did that and enjoyed the dinner at their outside seating area. It was nice weather and midsummer with white nights so I did not mind. Staff was friendly and food tasted good.

I was skeptical about visiting this restaurant since the food in almost all Asian restaurants in Sweden taste the same and boring. I was surprised that the food here is better than some Chinese and Thai restaurants. I liked the flavor and consistency of the food, it was good value for money. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a quick bite.

Located in the city centre. Modern interior. Clean and fresh. The pricing is okay and the pizza was good. Friendly and service minded staff. Minus is that some members of the staff hangs out in the restaurants’ dining area with their personal mobile phones. Felt a little bit wierd. And i am not sure but i think the hygiene might have to be improved among the staff. And pricing is above average. I payed 11 euros for a pizza that should be around 8-9 euros.

This place serves you brillant pizzas.. you will not have a problem eatting them as the thin crust doesnt melt down and you can easily eat it. Many places the crust becomes slimy and harder to eat.. but this is a great place...
