Gentry is okk Ambience :4/5 Food variety: 4/5 pastries, cakes,cookies,breads,icecream brownie, sandwiches, mini pizza,burgers etc Taste : i would say its okayish ...some pastries were good some were not that upto mark .overall you can visit and try .i liked butterscotch and fruit cocktail and coffee pastry ...but others had a bland taste ...maybe they were not as fresh as these . Place is calm and quite ...do visit ..i

Bought pastries few days back (highly overpriced, even higher than well known far better brands), it was completely dry and taste was also bad. The very next day went again and confronted the owner about the taste and quality he was completely ignorant about that and was giving vague facts & excuses and acting as if I was lying. Being a customer of this shop for about more than 8 or 10 years, he didn't even considered customer relationships. Not going there again.

Visited El Chico Restaurant on the 3rd floor — the ambience was good, but the quality of non-veg food was very poor. We ordered dhaba mutton, but even that had no proper pieces (gala bhi nahi tha). We had to wait for almost an hour to get our order, even though there was no rush during lunch time. Overall, not a good experience.

I dont even know where to begin. This place is pretentious as hell, and it likes to cater only to the "seemingly rich" audience. We were a bunch of college kids that wanted to dine in at the rooftop area, first off we are greeted with a weird smug look, then as we go inside none of us suggest a good place for us to sit considering the weather. All of that is fine, when we start to place our order- as we're enquiring about the food dishes and what is sold best here, this cocky waiter gives us these judgy looks and rolls his eyes at us and for once even went to his coworker and shared a laugh about some doubt of ours about THEIR own menu that WE are paying money for. Their entitled attitude does not just end here. Then the food is prepared and just KEPT on our table and I had to voluntarily ask for it to be served, since the seats were more than the number of people there was empty space on the table and excess plates- the same cocky waiter serves food on plates that were close to him, instead of asking who ordered what, he simply served food on whichever plates were near him (regardless if someone was tending to it or not) and walked away. We had to reshuffle everything ourselves just to eat what we ordered. The height was when we asked for the manager for the terrible attitude and the service we got, and complained to him about these issues that we faced- his reply was, "Thanks for letting us know, this feedback will help us grow in the future," like what even???? no attempt to address the issue in front of the staff member who behaved so poorly?? In the end, we were left with a hefty bill, mid food, and a ruined birthday Being one of the most recognized and high end restaurants of Allahabad, its standards are definitely inflated and biased to the seemingly "rich looking" clientele.

Recently bought pastries and confectionery from here. The paneer roll was okayish, the paneer in the stuffed kulcha was sour and the cheese pizza puff tasted disgusting, also had a chocolate cream roll which was soggy and the cream in it was sour too. I myself bought all the things from the store and all of them tasted as if made days ago. Giving 2 stars because their pastries were good nevertheless.

Pathetic service I gave two bills to the staff for two pastry and he only gave me one pastry and told me that I gave only one receipt and when I ask for help from the person sitting on the counter counter he was least interested in his work so I have to leave my money (₹160) never ever ! going back to this place

I bought a black forest, they gave us the stale cake, bread was hard also the cherry were not eatable, when I went there to complaint neither staff nor the owner were cooperative, atleast they could have replaced the cake if refund was not possible, for a customer's good will. But they were rude. I could have bought it from somewhere else with much less price but went there just for sake of the name. But it was a waste, even I put the cake there without anything in return still they don't care.

Cakes and pastries are really of great quality but prices are a bit too high. You can dine in and take out as well. Variety and flavors are really varied.
