Lisboa Bakery & Grill was pretty good overall. We tried their white chicken dinner, dark chicken dinner & Portuguese tarts, and they were tasty. The fries were especially delicious. However, I think they could work on their customer service and the ambiance a bit.

Food was great, we had the 1/4 chicken dinner with rice and potatoes. It was delicious! Of course, malassadas for dessert! Can't wait to come back again.

Stopped in for lunch and had a wonderful meal with my family. Very welcoming environment with delicious food. It was busy with many people ordering take out. We decided to sit and eat. Our server Patricia was very friendly. Great place to stop and eat if you are in the KW area.

Went for breakfast. under $4.50 for a breakfast sandwich on a fresh bun, and under $8 for a full egg breakfast with delicious home fries. The value of their breakfast was fantastic and even with drinks and some pastries, it was under $30 for 2 people to dine. Wonderful staff and amazing food! Will certainly be back!

Amazing place to eat, drink, relax, shop and watch soccer. The food is delicious, they have beer and coffee, you can buy groceries or sit and eat sweets. A great place to visit overall. A must try if you are in the area and if you are eating make sure to try the famous sauce.

Best bakery in KW area without a doubt!!! Absolute delight to visit every Saturday morning! Amazing sourdough breads and croissants! Super friendly staff! Almond croissant, potato rosemary sourdough, flax raisin walnut sourdough are some of my favourites.

Best danish I’ve had in my life by a large margin. The pastry was more flaky and buttery than most croissants, the blueberries were fresh and flavourful, and the cream cheese was fantastic. Genuinely blew me away and improved my whole morning

Amazing place, the croissants are just so addictive. Not sure what’s in there. They operate at limited hours so check for it and go. Only walk ins and take outs. Didn’t take any pictures but I recommend trying double chocolate croissant and almond chocolate.

Their pastries are so good. I like a good croissant and they make them top notch. Recommended as the best place to get a good baguette.

An excellent bakery specializing in bread and pastry. I focus my reviews on the pastries. I had 4 pastries: A Croissant, a chocolate au pain, a blueberry danish and a lemon curd twist. All four pastries were notable for their excellent lamination Golden Hearth specializes in super crunchy flaky pastry and it was the joy of each of the pastries. If I had one critique it would be that they need to be more generous with the excellent fillings to balance things out. Both the lemon curd twist and blueberry danish had delicious punchy filling, but the filling was confined to such a small part of the pastry that it was somewhat lost. The croissant was excellent, and the chocolate au pain was my favorite of the four I tried. A few details to note about the shopping experience: customers do not have access to the store, but order from the front door. I am not sure if this is a COVID protocol or is the standard set up of the bakery. The staff were attentive and efficient but it means you should expect a line up outside, which can be a challenge on days with inclement weather. Though both richly deserve their four star ratings I inevitably have to compare Golden Hearth to Sabletine in the debate of who makes the best Croissant in town. My vote has to stay with Sabletine whose croissants were just as flakey but also a bit richer.

Get this - my wife was going through some old purses to donate when she found an ancient Golden Hearth Bakery gift certificate that she'd gotten ages ago, and forgotten about for a decade. Honest. Anyway, what the heck - we walk down there, show them the certificate with full expectation they would deny such an antique. The man at the front counter was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and despite having worked there seven years, had never seen such a certificate. But there was no problem! They honoured it without a quibble. So we got some sourdough bread and it was just amazing. I can highly recommend this place both for its delicious products and its amazing commitment to customer service.

Winnie's has been a go to for my daughter who has Celiac. We have only purchased their desserts and she LOVES them. Maybe one day we will try some of their other food items. If you are looking for a CAKE you need to pre-order. They have various flavors available.

Winnie’s is the best! As someone who doesn’t necessarily need gluten free options, I would still choose to eat here. The food is so delicious you don’t even notice it’s gluten free. My husband feels the same and he is a tough critic! They do have dairy free options as well which is great for me. From sweet to savory they have it all. I even got an amazing cake made for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Toronto that was not only delicious but so cute and fun!

Winnie’s made our wedding cake and it was PERFECT! We were looking for something very specific and simple and they couldn’t have done a better job. We had so many compliments on the design and also how tasty it was, everyone couldn’t believe it was gluten-free, too! Thanks Winnie’s for making this so perfect for us and being so thoughtful throughout the process!

Delicious fresh baked gluten free bread, the grocery store cannot compare. Cinnamon raisin loaf was fabulous but the flax loaf was right up there with the gluten filled options in my opinion. So light and airy with a great chew. I love you can place your order ahead of time and that they will slide the loaves for you. I had one of the hot pizza buns and it was to die for. Can't wait to try everything else on my next visit

I got a box of goodies from Winnie’s off of Too Good 2 Go, also not needing to be gluten free. Let me tell you, absolutely delicious! Even being a day after I picked up desserts are still fresh. Absolutely recommend. Keep up the great work !!! Will be a repeat customer 😁

We went on a Saturday afternoon and the place was very busy. As soon as you enter the building, please head towards the left side of the building where the dining (host) area is located. Make sure to write your name, time of arrival and the size of your party and they will seat you accordingly. The intercom announcement works great. We waited approximately 45 minutes to be seated. The dining service is from 11am to 7pm. Once seated, we all ordered the Fall Deal meal that is a choice of soup or salad, choice of meat, dessert. The broasted (baked and roasted?) chicken is worth the hype. The corn, mashed potatoes and fries were very good too. We got the coconut cream, pecan pies and a chocolate sundae. The pies were also very good. There’s a bakery side in which you can buy the pies and other baked goods and takeout prepared meals. They also sell souvenirs and handcrafted items. Good experience overall and worth the drive.

If you love a delicious, home-cooked meal with fresh ingredients, fast and friendly table service, plus a great bakery and cute gift shop, Anna Mae's is for you! Although the menu isn't extensive, it features popular Canadian dinners and desserts. Pricing is excellent, and portions are generous. This was my first visit and I will definitely be a repeat customer!

We highly recommend the restaurant for its delicious broasted chicken dinner, the bakery for its scrumptious deserts and the gift shop for its delightful selection of truly Canadian treasures and handmade craft items. Our service from the hostess, table server and cashier was super friendly and cheerful which really added to our enjoyment of our visit. Anna Mae’s is definitely worth the drive! Don’t wait until you are just passing through town. Plan on getting desert to take home because the meal portions are really generous and the menu options are vast.

Decided to take a drive from Milton to experience this place. Wow! Short of a big piece of bone in my turkey dinner(which was removed from our bill-thank you) honestly this place is a must try. 5 dining rooms, people lined up however it moves fast. Service is excellent, meals are so tasty and large portions. Bakery is heavenly and I’d say 98% of store items are hand made.

Great service and food for a great price! My husband got the full meal deal with ham/potato soup, broasted chicken, carrots, fries, a cheese roll, and dutch apple pie with ice cream. He loved the broasted chicken and dutch apple pie. I am vegetarian and was pleasantly surprised with how flavourful the vegan soup was. The egg salad sandwich was also delicious. We will be back!

Amish cooking in the beautiful village of Millbank. The meals are delicious and taste like tour grandmother or favourite aunt made them. With a simple approach, you choose from a selection of standard fare such as their famous broasted chicken, sandwiches etc or from the rotating meat schedule, then choose a potato (I selected mashed) followed by vegetable choice and roll (couldn't resist the fresh carrots, thinly sliced and a cheese bun). Check the website for the rotating meat schedule. I lucked out with a perfect roasted turkey. Then I finished with a slice of raspberry pie. Can't choose between the dining options? Make it simple and order the roasted chicken to go, and then indulge in another favourite. Breakfast, sandwiches and burgers are always available as well. Place an order at the bakery for you pies, donuts, fresh bread and more, ready to take home. Two important facts of which to be aware: bring cash or debit. 1) No credit cards accepted. 2) closed Sundays. Anna Mae's is a small family owned and operated restaurant and bakery and is an icon in the area. Come early, and be patient. You may need to wait, but it will be worth it.

If it’s your first time here, you should know there are actually two locations of this bakery, one on West Avenue and the other on Ottawa Street. I found out from the staff that they’re owned by different people and operate independently. I’ve been to both and honestly prefer the West Avenue location. It has that cozy, local old-town bakery vibe that I really enjoy. The staff at both spots have always been nice and friendly, so no complaints there. That said, the Ottawa Street location does have the edge when it comes to variety, you’ll find way more pastries to choose from here. One thing you definitely shouldn’t miss is their giant croissants. They don’t look or taste like a traditional French croissant, but they’re fresh, tasty, and have their own unique texture. We also tried a few other pastries, and everything was good. Another difference is payment; West Avenue is cash only, while Ottawa Street accepts cards as well, which is more convenient. Prices at both locations are a bit on the high side, but I don’t mind paying a little extra to support small, local businesses. I’ve attached some photos of their pastries, and while I’ll happily stop by either location, my personal favorite is still the West Avenue spot, it just has a unique atmosphere that makes it feel special.

City Cafe is one of my favorite bakeries. Always a solid choice based on quality of food and amazing staff. They are a cash only business and operate on an honor system. You select your food, drinks etc, add it up yourself (calculator supplied) and if you need change, just tell them how much you need. Most of the baked goods are done in house and the rest is mostly sourced locally. They serve Baden Coffee which is a great coffee, but I wished they carried Hissing Goose. Today I purchased a Montreal style sesame bagel and a chocolate croissant. Not much can beat a warm, fresh baked Montreal bagel. The toasted sesame seeds give the exterior a pleasant crispiness while the bagel itself has a soft, chewy inside. You can get jam, cream cheese etc but I prefer to eat it plain. Delicious! The chocolate croissant was light and flakey and the chocolate inside was soft and gooey. Another positive quality of the croissants is they don't go crazy with the powdered sugar. Eat in, take out and also have a dog friendly patio. Love this place. These 2 items were $4.50

I had a very disappointing and unsettling experience at City Café on Ottawa St. I went in to buy bread and a bagel. The price listed for a bagel was $1.50 and cream cheese was $0.50. I expected to pay $8 total, but was suddenly told it would be $8.50 because of a “dine-in” price even though I was leaving and not eating there. When I stepped out to get another dollar from my car, the owner actually followed me outside and confronted me, saying I was upsetting his employee. When I tried to go back in to pay, he pushed on the door to block me. He started asking where I was from and tried to justify the extra cost, but never gave me a clear reason. Apparently, just cutting the bagel and spreading cream cheese counted as dine-in. What bothered me most was how aggressive and intimidating the owner was. I honestly felt scared in that moment, like things could have escalated further. It’s not how any customer should be treated. The pricing is misleading, and the owner’s behavior was completely unprofessional and hostile. I won’t be coming back, and I’d warn others to be cautious about going here.

It is truly a fantastic place, perfect for on the go or a quick little stop for a delicious pastry or coffee. They offer both dine in and take out. Such a cute little bakery! There’s always a fresh selection of baked goods on hand, and the coffee is excellent. The bakery is self-serve, where you either put cash into a box or send an e-transfer, but there’s always staff in the back in case you have any questions. It’s my new go to spot for a quick bite to eat.

Ownership has changed. Staff are different. Bagels are getting burned. There's a debit machine for some reason. More rules going up on signs. Slow on a long weekend Saturday morning. Feeling surveilled by someone who doesn't quite know what to do with the people who know how much their order costs, pay in exact cash, and leave. Vibes are off.

First time customer. Charming atmosphere. Kind and welcoming staff who were happy to help. They only take cash and you pay by putting the cash in the cash bin after self-serving your own drink. If you don’t have enough change, they let you pay the next time you come in and if you need to exchange change, I saw them help out quite a few customers with that :) I served myself a small coffee which was $2.25 and ordered tuna melt & coleslaw which was $11. The coffee was unfortunately not hot which is why I am knocking off a star, but the tuna melt was INCREDIBLE. Large portion of fresh bread with a crispy crust, gooey cheese, and excellently spiced. The pickle with the coleslaw was so good too! Tons of parking next to the pretty outdoor patio filled with flowers, and it is beside tons of thrift stores if you want to make a date out of your visit. I stayed back and did some work inside, which I enjoyed, but later went outside because it was way too warm inside. Overall definitely want to come back and try some sweets! I want to visit their other location too. Very homey. 🍵

I absolutely love this place. HIGHLY recommend the croissants (my fave is the almond), but they have plenty of tasty pastries. I love that they've got the most authentic French-patisserie feel in town. Everything I've had is delicious.

DOG HAIR IN CROISSANT!! As long-time customers of Sabeltine, we were deeply disappointed by how the owner handled a recent issue that should have been addressed with care and professionalism. We purchased four almond croissants, only to find a dog hair embedded in one of them. Given the health concerns, we contacted the owner, hoping for a swift resolution. Unfortunately, she offered to refund only the one croissant with the hair, and when we explained that we no longer felt comfortable eating the others, she dismissively told us that what we chose to do with them was “up to us.” As a nurse, I was shocked by her lack of concern for food safety and customer trust. We had hoped to support a local business, but the owner’s arrogant response and disregard for our legitimate concerns were appalling. Her handling of this situation shows a complete lack of respect for the hard-earned money of her customers, especially in today’s economy. Where there’s one hair, there could be more, and this experience has left us questioning the standards at Sabeltine. We regret that our long-standing support for this business ended in such an unsatisfactory and dismissive manner.

Purchased a beautiful chocolate cake for a birthday. It was a decadent cake, perfect for chocolate lovers. It was my first time, I will definitely be back to try more sweet treats!

Still amazing for flavour, quality, selection, and service. Friendly and helpful server served up some delicious choices. Fresh, delicious, and heavenly. Honestly haven't tasted better anywhere in the world. PREVIOUS: Absolutely delicious! Daughter said that we haven't tasted croissants like this and I would agree. The chocolate and almond butter croissants were flaky, buttery, and flavourful, with good quality chocolate. There was a long lineup of 10+ people when we arrived at 11 am on Sun, a half hour after opening, and after eating these, I can see why. There was a great selection of options and it was cute inside. Staff were friendly and efficient, and did well trying to keep people moving through. Prices were reasonable and less than we have seen elsewhere. We're looking forward to trying EVERYTHING on the menu eventually. Compared with the other trendy croissant place Hazukido, I would say they are equal in presentation and appearance, but these guys definitely have them beat on flavour.

I've shopped here twice for special pastries for family gatherings. These are the finest pastries you will find in KW. The ingredients must be top shelf because everything is creamy, smooth, layers of flavours, beautiful colours and presentation, crisp pastries and crusts... Everything is perfect and everyone is always in awe of the creations on offer at the dinner table. My grandkids (after two events with Sabletine's creations) already know what's coming when they hear that Papa has some special desserts 😂😍. Prices are $4 - $7 for each of the large pastries (they are large!) but small versions of most large treats are available. I haven't even started on the beautiful breads, cookies, croissants... You must visit and enjoy.

The sweets are fine, but not worth the rude treatment by their staff. I've been there several times thinking I just caught some of them an off day, however only once was helped by someone friendly. It's just down the street from my house, but they have nothing I can't find at another bakery that's as good or better and treats their customers kindly.

Stoney Crock Bakery is one of the highlights of St. Jacobs and a place I always enjoy visiting. The bakery is filled with the smell of freshly baked bread, pies, and pastries that taste just as good as they look. Everything is made with quality ingredients, and you can truly taste the homemade touch. Their pies and cookies are a must-try, but honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything here. What makes it even better is the bakery’s connection to the nearby stores and restaurants. It feels like part of a bigger community experience, where you can enjoy the bakery and then explore the other shops and eateries just steps away. A wonderful stop for locals and visitors alike!

Amazing little bakery in the heart of St. Jacob’s. They have a restaurant and market attached that is filled with local goodies. if you go, highly suggest the chocolate eclair, as it was the best one I’ve ever had. They have a huge selection of baked good and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Cannot wait to go back!

Went to St. Jacobs for a day trip, and I would have to say that Stone Crock Bakery does not dissapoint! The atmosphere inside was fantastic, staff are friendly, washrooms are clean, and the food was amazing. Both the Rocky Road pastries and the peach lemonade we ordered were delicious and reasonably priced, being made with traditional methods and local ingredients. The newly-renovated interior is connected to the neighbouring Jacob's Grill and Stone Cook, offering accesible connectivity to local restaurants of your choosing.

I didn't go for a long time. All the time this bakery's taste is awesome!!! The price is getting high now so this point was sad. But, this happened everywhere now. So, I can't complain about it... We get Long Johns and Apples Fritter. It was so fresh and tasty. But, for me Long Johns was too sweet. I couldn't finish for one.

A huge thank you to Jessica for the stunning cake she made for my son's engagement party! The hiking theme, inspired by their engagement on the Beehive Trail, was brought to life beautifully with detailed figurines, a mountain, pine trees, and a “Beehive Trail” sign. The vivid colors and snowy backdrop added a lively touch. Not only was it visually amazing, but it tasted delicious too (the chocolate hazelnut)! Everyone was impressed, and it was the perfect surprise. Highly recommend Jessica for something truly special!

Me & my husband are huge sweet tooths and were hoping they would deliver in that department & they nailed it. We got a cake, cake pops, cookies & cupcakes!!! The theme was harry potter & they pulled through. We & our guest absolutely loved the designs but also enjoyed the desserts, there was absolutely nothing left! We got red velvet, vanilla/chocolate, carrots cake & cookies/cream. All the flavors were incredible, they were cooked to perfection & again the harry potter theme was nailed. Thank you so so much for making our wedding the sweetest day ever!!! I highly recommend either coming here for a sweet treat or even for your wedding and any other occasions.

Our wedding cake from The Cake Box was truly everything we dreamed of and more. They brought our vision of a vintage-style cake to life so beautifully — it looked like something straight out of a fairytale. It was the perfect finishing touch to our special day. Not only was it stunning to look at, but it was absolutely delicious. The chocolate coconut flavour was rich, soft, and so decadent — my husband and I couldn’t stop smiling as we enjoyed our first slice together. We’re so grateful to The Cake Box for creating something so beautiful and meaningful for us. It was the sweetest part of our wedding day in every way. 🤍✨

If you haven’t tried their cupcakes you’re missing out. Every single flavour is delicious, and the staff are so friendly! It was an easy decision to have our wedding cake made here. The cake tasting box was a sweet touch (we loved every flavour of course), but went with a classic vanilla raspberry. Maeve was so helpful in arranging the pickup of the cake, and it was truly stunning! I sent a couple inspo photos with a rough idea and they nailed it. Can’t wait to order a smaller version every year for our anniversaries!

As a first time customer, we recently purchased a walk-in chocolate caramel cake (not pre-ordered) for a birthday. It was the perfect size and felt special. The cake was fudgey (almost like a brownie), which I loved. There was a lot of icing if you like icing, this cake is for you. It was costly ($60) but it was definitely a top QUALITY cake. I was very impressed. Thank you Cake Box!

They created beautiful cupcakes for my daughters baptism. There was a small mix up regarding two gluten free cupcakes being added to my order. They rectified the error immediately, and went above and beyond by offering my kids complimentary cake pops for the extra wait. The cupcakes were delicious and beautifully decorated, and the service was incredible. Very happy with my experience and will definitely order from them again!

We ordered an 11 x 15" cake to celebrate our Mom's 100th Birthday! We ordered a Blueberry Lemon cake with vanilla buttercream frosting. It was beautifully decorated with very intricate flowers and the cake was delicious! Everyone commented on how much they enjoyed the cake. One guest said that he normally doesn't like lemon cake but he really liked this one! Thank you Cake Box for making our event so special!

Great quality and excellent service. A little disappointed that there is no longer custard in the canollis but rather like a whip cream. I would highly recommend the strawberry tarts and the croissants are fabulous. The fresh bread and buns are wonderful and we have purchased several cakes now. Never disappointed in the taste of anything they make!

I got a strawberry shortcake for a friend’s birthday, and it was absolutely delicious! The cake, paired with fresh strawberries, was incredibly flavorful and definitely worth the $33. The bakery itself has a lovely seating area to enjoy their treats, and the staff is just as sweet as the confections they sell. With a great variety of delicious options, this place is definitely worth visiting!

I just absolutely love this bakery fresh fresh and delicious! You have such a variety of baked pastries muffins, pastel de nata ( Portuguese custard tart) , donuts, cakes, macaroons, fresh bread, great looking cakes! You can dine in or simply have a coffee with your pastry and enjoy the outdoors since the weather is great for the spring. This bakery is constantly busy, the staff are top notch at getting your order, it depends on the time of day you visit sometimes they run out of the favourites which tells you how much people love this bakery. The seating area is now spacious because they have outdoor seating which is absolutely wonderful.

There are so many varieties, we tried Tiramisu (which was great), chocolate croissant(not good, the chocolate tastes weird), chocolate something in square (too much sugar syrup, not for moderate sweet tooth people), codfish roll (not bad). Great ambiance, great place to hang out with friends. Very reasonable prices. But I’d really love it if you reduce a sugar syrup and too sweet chocolate syrup and introduce the authentic dark chocolate in the recipes.

I’ve visited this Portuguese bakery on many occasions, sometimes to sit-in for a coffee and dessert, other times to pick-up bread and pastries to go. Their products are always fresh and delicious, the pastries cater to all taste buds, and the bread, a real pleasure for bread lovers. They specialize in Portuguese desserts and breads, the most famous being the “Pastel de Nata”, a Portuguese egg custard tart pastry, as well as other traditional desserts (lemon custard tart, Berliner (jam filled Berlin balls), macarons, cakes, pies, etc. Service is good, sometimes a bit slow, depending on how busy it gets. I noticed they changed the outlay of the counters since my last visit, and now that the weather has warmed-up, their patio is open and looks very welcoming. However, this time around, I was disappointed with my choice of the blueberry filled Berlin ball: the dough was too dry, the filling too sweet and oozing out from inside. On the other hand, the lemon Berlin ball looked more appealing and as per my daughter-in-law, was scrumptious. I will go back again, and will definitely order other things and recommend it to family and friends.

Lovely breakfast place and service were so kind and friendly. The butter tart is to die for. We also tried spinach Feta cheese Danish, which was delicious as well. The croissants were slightly heavy, but a little bit butter is always welcome. Another suggestion is to go for fruit tart and apple turnover. The price is regular. One can enjoy the breakfast there with family or by one self.

Can you say fresh, absolutely delicious, homemade bread??!!! Wow! I only found this place by happenstance seeing someone in front of me drive into this small plaza and the advertisement of sourdough bread caught my eye, so I pulled in. The man inside shared how he makes his bread - no trade secrets though ;) I bought a loaf and a couple buttermilk buns. And, oh soooo tasty that I will definitely return making it part of my enroute travels.

Went to try a new bakery in KW region, and pleasantly surprised, it was very cozy and quaint location. The smell is truly amazing. Worth the visit for sure, the bread is delicious:)

Sparse options and disappointing quality. I went a little after noon on a Tuesday and arrived to mostly empty shelves. I selected slice of carrot cake and a cream horn. The cake was very moist and the icing was okay but overall it was in line with prepackaged carrot cake squares. The cream horn was so dry I couldn't finish it. The cream and pastry were not at all fresh.

Great bread and buns. Treats are scrumptious too. Prices are quite reasonable. Selection can be minimal depending on what is made fresh.

Wonderful certified celiac safe bakery with a family owned business heart beat! I often buy enough to travel safely with delicous baked goods for a month and will even take these baked goods as gifts for family/friends in other provinces. As good as fresh after reheating from frozen!

I got a special order pecan pie for Thanksgiving so that I could be included in the dessert part of our family dinner as a celiac. The pecan pie is absolutely delicious!!! It doesn't even taste gf, the crust is super light and flakey, caramelized pecans, and the filling is so so delicious. Definitely recommend! Hoping to come back for a birthday cake 😁

I purchased a loaf of white bread and package of day old Kaiser buns. The bread I purchased was slightly cheaper because it had holes in it. However there were no more holes than in other gf bread I’ve bought other places and paid full price and not nearly as good! The kaisers were amazing even when they were day olds! I will admit that the products are pricey but they are worth every penny to have a sandwich or burger where the bun doesn’t just disintegrate when you start to eat! Thanks for a great product

Ginger snap, oatmeal, and Linzer cookies were amazing! Fruit muffin with jam filling was light, airy and filled with berries. It’s always a wonderful surprise when a gluten-free bakery pops up unexpected in a mall you’ve never been to before. You made my day! I can’t add any photos because I ate them all so quickly.

I was diagnosed with celiac last year. We went to the store to get some crossiants and baked items (muffins, cookies, etc.). Firstly, the crossiants came in a packet of 4 which was priced at about $22 before taxes which I feel is not worth at all. I still got 2 packs because I have always been fond of eating crossians but after geeting diagnosed with celiac, I could not find them anywhere else in Kitchener. Little did I know, it wall all go in vein. The baked items were really good and I can confirm that they were 100% gluten free. But, the crossiants were a little fishy (in terms of being 100% gluten free, or as I felt). I had the first 2 bites of the crossiant and I immediately knew that it's not right (glutened). I threw up few minutes later. The branding on Crossiants shows Artisans so I am not entirely sure if they are prepared in house and are free from cross contaminaion. I have been feeling ill since the moment I had it. If you have celiac, I'd recommend not to get the crossiants. Bakes items are great otherwise.

I honestly wish I could give a better review. I have attempted to order cakes from this bakery THREE times. The first two times I called approximately a month prior to needing the order, at that time they said they could not accept any further orders for the entire next month because they had reached their limits. Now I have again tried to order a cake, 5 days in advance during a low season, and STILL that is not enough. This time they didn't say that they were too busy, but that 5 days wasn't enough time and I needed to order 7 days in advance. I didn't need any special order cake, just a regular Gluten Free cake, no special designs or writing, and still they indicated that this time I am ordering too late. Anyway super sad that this bakery unfortunately can't seem to keep up with demand. I will definitely NOT be attempting to order a FOURTH cake here when there are so many other gluten free bakery's around.

I used to love coming to this bakery and I'm so disappointed after stopping in. The food on display was sad looking, especially the matcha cake slices which looked at least a week old. The food me and my family got was good for the most part, but so unbearably sweet that after a few bites, I was shivering with disgust. The service wasn't great either mainly because of missing website information about catering. Don't think I'll be coming back, better off anywhere else.

I visited the Kitchener location yesterday and, unfortunately, left quite disappointed. Their space was scaled down about a year ago, but the overall atmosphere still feels very underwhelming. The hanging curtains behind the counter and the disorganized layout do not make for the kind of visually appealing experience you'd expect from an established bakery. The female staff member was quiet, not overly friendly or welcoming, and difficult to engage in conversation. She was seemingly uninterested in trying to sell their product and did not offer advice or share any information about the goods on display until prompted. The selection of baked goods was also surprisingly limited. Many items appeared to have been sitting out for some time. One cheesecake in particular looked burnt on top, with a small amount of unidentifiable preserves and a sprinkle of coconut seemingly used to mask the overdone surface. I opted for the plain cheesecake since I had driven there on my lunch break and felt compelled to try something. Sadly, it was overbaked and stale, so dry it crumbled under the fork and tasted like sand. Definitely not worth the $8 I paid. I did purchase a few extra items (pre-packaged chocolate, not made in-store). The selection of non-bakery items they had was marginally better than the baked goods, but since this is supposed to be a bakery, not a shop, I was very disappointed overall... Not surprising that this business seems to be failing. The nicest thing about this place was the sign on the building. I won't be back.

This place has wide range and good collection of sweet goods. Ordered Slice of Tiramisu and White chocolate raspberry. Taste was not upto the mark of a fine pastry shop and definetely overpriced. Tiramisu was dry and did not taste coffee at all. Raspberry was on a bit of dry side as well and sweet. On a side note they have collection of meat cuts, honey and bottled jams. Good flavor collection on full cakes but bit pricey.

I was greeted by a friendly woman when I entered. I ordered a slice of bienenstich cake, a cherry/cheese danish and a macaroon. The bienenstich is the worst I’ve had - the cake portion was so incredibly dry and hard that my fork could pierce through it and crack a piece off, while the filling tasted like cheap cake icing. Thankfully I didn’t buy the square which was $12, as I spent $7 on this slice. As you can see in the picture, the cake is so dry/hard that my fork was held up by the cake rather than it falling over. The cherry cheese danish was underwhelming; the cherries/filling smelled and tasted like it was old. The danish part itself was soft and seemed fresh and the cheese filling was tasty. As for the macaroon, my toddler ate it happily.

Visited this bakery, the desserts looked great, however cheesecake and blueberry rollada was great. It was not too sweat but was tasty. But chocolate eclair and chocolate cake was not worth the price and was a total disaster. I feel they are soo overpriced for cakes and all.

Special cakes and cookies! It is nice to have a coffee or tea and a good sandwich with a friend. Downside is that their cakes are frozen. It is not fresh made. I had the surprise to come home with it for my birthday on March 10, 2018 and we could not eat it because it was frozen. Nobody mentioned to me that when I bought it 😔 if you are ok with frozen food - you are all good!

Very disappointed. I got $6.56 fresh berry tart. It has a berry syrup on the top and it taste very cheap and artificial. Tart shell is frozen once and defrosted. Tasted gross. Cream is heavy and it could have been good if the syrup didn't ruin flavor. I went to Waterloo nougat and it was very good but this store isn't right.

Such a gem of a bakery! I tried a kouign-amann for the first time here, and it was unforgettable perfectly crisp on the outside, caramelized just right, and buttery layers that melted in my mouth. You can tell everything is made with care. The space is cozy and inviting, with warm service and a relaxed vibe!

We tried their kouign-amann which is one of our favourites. We have also tried their shakshuka brioche which is perfect combination of all the herbs and spices which an egg inside. In the picture you see is the basque cheese cake and something of broccoli puff, which is good too! This bakery is really good with all of the baked goods. One of the best in the KWC area!!

Great little cafe/ bakery/ shop!! They had so many local products from various artisans. Their in-house baked goods are too die for, and I recommend getting there early enough to sample the breakfast bun. What a great idea. If you love a good bakery, I highly recommend checking this place out. Also the staff area lovely!!

It was a warmer than normal, unseasonably nice day, so walked down to this neighbourhood store for a coffee. Honestly, the drip coffee was ok. It was close to closing time, so perhaps it had been sitting for awhile in the carafe. Seemed a bit weak for my tastes. That said, the staff - and clientele for that matter - were all very friendly. And it isn't just a coffee shop. Various pastries were for sale, as well as a bunch of unique food items, and other interesting things created by local craftspeople. There's a bit of parking right off Frederick, and a small outside spot for customers to sit and enjoy the offerings in nice weather. There's also a small seating area inside when it isn't so nice out.

I had such a fab first time experience at this quaint neighborhood bakery and provisions shop. The vibrant colours, baking, in house gourmet ice cream and fab merchandising blew me away with such a big city gourmet selection at amazing local price points. Of course I purchased some Chuck Hughes products, and took home a half dozen of their in house baking. Oh my gosh, you must visit, and tell them Spicy Jan sent you. The customer service is excellent, very kind staff. They listen carefully to all your requirements and fulfill the same. I got the custom cake exactly designed as ordered in a short time. Not only the look of the cake , but cake itself was so soft and delicious as they recommended me the flavours that would go well. Best combo ever! It was as exactly the way I showed them in the picture which I wanted . I am definitely coming in the future for more cake orders. Highly highly recommended!

I enjoyed the cakes I bought for my husband's birthday at this pastry shop. The cakes are simple, but relatively light and flavorful. When it comes to cakes, I usually prefer simple designs way better than "Instagram-worthy" pretentious looks with all those artificial colors and marzipan or heavy buttermilk layers. However, I wish the cake I got would look a little less like a homemade cake. With that being said, I love the good taste of chocolate and nuts, which this bakery offers in many shapes and forms. Too many of the pastries caught my eye and I will be back to try them next time.

We ordered a fruit cream cake for my husbands Birthday. Although I had to wait a bit as cake needed some finishing touches. It was well worth the wait. Cake was so stunning and beautifully decorated with the fruit. Most of all it tasted scrumptious. Cake was light and creamy with perfect amount of sweetness. Ordered a bunch of these pastries from Uber Eats to satisfy my sweet tooth. The person who packaged our order was so sweet just like these pastries - they packed us 3 free items on the side along with a Thank you note! This is why I love local bakeries! All the pastries were SO GOOD! We consumed them over a few days but they still seemed so delightful each day! It was hard to pick my favorite but I think Crem Pita is the Winner for me! It was sooooo smooth and creamy and tasty! I'd love to visit this place in person one day! Definitely ordering from here again.

This is the second time I order cake from here and for the second time the taste is wonderful and the cake is for the baptism of my son and daughter. The service is more than wonderful. Amazing selection of scones. We got a six pack with a cheddar, orange coconut, cranberry, raspberry chocolate, rhubarb and apple cinnamon. The apple cinnamon was the most loved between everyone in the family. I loved the cranberry one. It had just the right amount of icing and cranberries throughout. Definitely will be going back to try the other flavors and pick up some cinnamon buns to try. And maybe some macaroons.

Litierally the best scones I have ever had! The store owner is really kind kind and sweet; extra scones have been snuck into our bag twice which was a special treat!

Bought a box of 6 scones - the cheddar, cheddar and chive, cheddar and jalapeno, blueberry, lemon poppyseed and orange coconut (I think). Scones were buttery and soft, reheating them in the microwave for breakfast the next day worked well too. Price is reasonable for 20 bucks. Hubby and I both enjoyed them as a treat! :)

I loved my experience here. We went early in the fall, I had a scone, and coffee; the others had macarons. It is a take-out place, but it has a picnic table outside where you can eat. We loved what we had, from what I saw, it is all baked on site. Would like to return.

Went to the Sconery for my sons 9th birthday as a little treat! I wasn't going to go for a scone myself but the clerk "Linda" highly recommended the honey cinnamon one....WOW....it was not dry like the scones I've had in the past. This place has amazing macarons and a lot of flavours to choose from as well! The scones - savoury and sweet, both - here are pretty crumbly and tasty. I prefer the sweet ones here over the savoury. I've had scones from a few places nearby and this had the best of them all. This place is reasonably priced, would definitely recommend!

Yummmmm! We have only tried the scones, but have done so several times and have only been impressed. There are a lot of delicious and unique options, both savory and sweet, and not just scones. They have just as much variety with their macaroons as well. Prices are good at $2.75/scone and $2.00/macaroon. They also have tars and cinnamon rolls. Looks like they have also branched out into custom cakes and cupcakes too. Several picknick table benches out front. TIP: They bundle their day old scones and sell them off at a discount.

We loved working with LenJo for our wedding cake and cupcakes in February! Lenore has such an infectious energy, made time to meet with us even though she was in the middle of a huge cookie order during Christmas, and delivered on some really great cupcakes and cake! The price was right, the quality was great, and the pickup of our order and the cupcake stands we rented was all flawless and on time. Highly recommend!

This is our go to bakery. We have gotten two birthday cakes from her and she also did our wedding. The cakes are Beautiful and taste amazing. My husband and I got married over Labour Day weekend this year and we wanted just a small cake for the cake cutting since our caterin included dessert for guests. Lenore really delivered! A cute little bakery with some delicious options. They did also have a small gluten free selection (but not certified). We tried the caramel eclair, berry tart, alcoholic mint truffle, and the poppyseed apple. All were delicious!

DO NOT ORDER CAKE FROM HERE!!! My cake order was put in 5 days in advance, they had plenty of time to make it right. It was a simple round pineapple strawberry cake. Upon pickup, they gave me a rectangular cake; no reason was given. When we got home, the cake literally FELL APART right after we opened the box. The flavour was not good, and quality was terrible, whoever put it together decided to slab a mixture of stale and fresh cake together. My money went into the trash. Save your money, go elsewhere.

We tried their Mango Raspberry Tart, it is so delicious and so fruity. It is more on the sour side but it's so sweet! It is just right! I reached out to the bakery via email to share my concerns but never received a reply or even an apology. Very let down by both the product and the customer service.

My first time here. Service was nice but they atleast need 2 people. I see only 1 hard working girl managing all. Service is 5/5. But disappointed by the cake I tried. Black forest slice was just not tasty. It was dry.

I found my favourite cupcake store today! I tried 6 cupcakes: Red Velvet, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Baileys Irish Cream Cheesecake, Black Forest, Salted Caramel, Knotty Pine Buttered Almond + 2 other desserts: cookie dough cheesecake bar and napoleon custard square. I think I’m quite picky with my cupcakes but I liked all of them! The cake was very soft and moist but did not fall apart when I wanted to break off the bottom of a non-filled cupcake to make a cupcake sandwich. The soft buttercream icing was the perfect (in my opinion) texture and consistency and just the right amount of sweetness where you can enjoy the flavour of the cupcake without being overwhelmed by sugar. This is great because they have such fun unique cupcake flavours and they do the classics super well as well! The Black Forest had a fresh tasting whipped cream (rightfully not buttercream) that was delicious as well. They have a lot of other desserts available such as cookies, French macaroons, squares etc. Prices for cupcakes differ depending on if you order <6, 6-11, 12+ and cheaper in store than ordering online ie Uber eats (like with any store/restaurant). My 8 treats came to a total of $34 which is amazing considering the amount and quality. 10/10 would recommend!

OMG this place is amazing! I stop here every time I am in the area and I am never disappointed with my treats! I usually go for the trusted cupcakes (which not only look gorgeous but more importantly taste DELICIOUS) but decided to try a tart or two instead… WOW just WOW. The chocolate caramel didn’t even make it home. The lemon meringue was a perfect breakfast! And as if the food wasn’t enough the owners are so welcoming and friendly. (don’t even let me get started on the total thirst trap of a husband! 🔥) GO TO TINY CAKES!! You can thank me later. 😜

My kids and I have recently discovered this bakery and we are forever changed! It has become our favourite spot to get a treat. There is a lovely selection of baked goods, the staff are really helpful and patient and the desserts are some of the best I've ever tasted. The only challenge is deciding what to purchase! SO glad I finally made my way out to try Tiny Cakes! It's such a cute little bakery, and I was greeted right away when I walked in. I tried six cupcakes: Vanilla Bean, Birthday Cake, Triple Chocolate, Red Velvet, Salted Caramel and the Knotty Pine Buttered Almond. The Knotty one is a new favorite for sure, but they all had really nice icing/cupcake/topping flavor combinations to them. It's not the sugar-loaded grocery store cupcakes that I think a lot of us are used to, where the main flavor is just "sweet". These are proper bakery cupcakes with a lot of care and mindfulness. The icing has a nice consistency: soft at room temperature but much more firm when chilled, so definitely let it warm up a bit. (The nice lady at the bakery did let me know this as well.) I had half my cupcakes fresh on the day and had the others the next day and they kept well enough. But for me, the real winner was the stack of chocolate chip cookies. Chocolate chip cookies have no business being so delicious, soft, chewy. I bought them Saturday, and two days after being opened and half eaten, they're still just as yummy. Highly recommend this bakery.

My husband and I were married at Cambridge Mill January 25, 2020, and Jen and Arthur from Tiny Cakes created a beautiful cupcake display for our special day! The cupcakes were phenomenal! They were beautifully decorated and displayed and they were delicious! From ordering to delivering Jen and Arthur were fantastic to deal with and we would highly recommend them to family and friends. Some of their donuts had no signage so wasn’t sure what they were. I’ve heard ownership has changed and the quality has changed. There is barely any filling in the donut and the donuts don’t seem as fresh and fluffy as before. The Boss used to be my favourite but the filling is completely different. Donuts not filled AT ALL second weekend in a row! We ordered 3 dozen for a party and the raspberry filled had NO filling. The week prior the Blue Unicorn had no filing and we had to put a note on the order to make sure there was filling for our baby shower. Now I’m seeing all these reviews on new owners and it’s extremely unfortunate that this place must have new owners that are just ruining it / cheaping out. Not to mention, they got rid of the pink box AND charge you for additional packaging to not have the donuts squished together! Take a look at the empty donuts we received compared to what’s advertised.

Bought 6 donuts, $20. 3 of the donuts tasted like the oil was not hot enough. They had absorbed enough oil to change the texture and flavour. They were also filled donuts. There was very little to no filling. If I went in at the end of day I might understand absorption of the filling, however I was there at opening. It used to be fantastic, now I can't say it's worth the price tag.

This place used to be great, now the atmosphere is weird with post-it note signs , you have to ring a bell when you want to order which feels like you're disturbing them...we got 6 and majority were not fully cooked and all had clearly been cooked when the oil was too cold or left to cool improperly. Donuts were overly sweet and over glazed, and fillings were watery. We all ended up with headaches and disappointment. Would not recommend since ownership or something here changed.

I've stopped in for a donut from Debrodniks three or four times now and its always been delicious. Recently had "The Boss" (pictured) and the PB&J on a previous visit. Both were super delicious. Especially liked that the PB&J is raspberry. Definitely recommend very highly, wish I could order a whole box instead of just one at a time :)

Absolutely delighted with this place!! The chocolate éclair was to die for!! The lemon tart was wonderful as well!! I would definitely highly recommend these to anyone! The chocolate éclair's icing wasn't painted on thinly; it has a surprisingly lovely crunch. It was so thick but not hard to the teeth. The whipping cream was real whipping cream. The pastry appeared dry, but worked like magic with the rest of it. I was left dreaming about it for the rest of the day! My lemon tart had a perfectly tart taste complemented by the meringue. My friend heartily agreed to both of those items being her favourite as well. My egg salad sandwich with lettuce on wholegrain bread was quite good as well! I will return to this place again! This place is so efficiently set up. They manage to pack in a shocking number of items, and yet everything fits. They have seating and even manage to have 2 washrooms. They sell some Irish and Scottish merchandise as well. See my pics for more food options. Food: You can eat lunch here or buy treats, lunch items like sandwiches, savory dishes, snacks, breakfast items, hot soup, or breads. They sell clotted cream in jars that you can buy along with their super fluffy-looking scones!! I haven't seen one place in Cambridge that sells this! Types of Dining: Indoor and takeout. They have tables and chairs for you to sit indoors. Atmosphere: Quiet but not overly quiet. Kids can come here. Parking: There is a lot of free parking due to this business being in the same lot as the Giant Tiger. Wheelchair accessibility: Unsure. There wasn't a designated wheelchair accessible washroom. It looked like one of them is likely large enough to go in with a wheelchair, but there is no wheelchair button.

Raising Dough is an absolute gem in Cambridge! They offer an amazing variety of traditional Scottish pies, scones, and other baked treats — everything is incredibly flavourful, fresh and clearly made with love. The staff are so warm and kind — they even welcomed me in with my dog, which made my day! There's even a sitting area inside to sit down and enjoy a cup of tea with a scone or sandwich, or any of their delicious pies and treats, making it the perfect place to relax and treat yourself. It has such a welcoming, homey atmosphere — a true local treasure. Don't miss taking home some of their scones, bread and treats. You won't regret it! Can’t wait to come back!

I am officially done with this place. First of all, the good: the scones are delicious. This is what kept me returning once or twice a month for the past few years. The bad: The rest of their products are a gamble - some are good, some are not. All are quite expensive. My husband compared their meat pies to a $1 boxed meat pie from the grocery store, and I think I paid about $8 each at this place. Forget about ever getting a table here to enjoy a coffee and a pastry! There are only 2 tables in the whole place, and they are constantly occupied by the same "regulars", sipping on coffee and splitting a scone/pastry 4 ways for hours, every single time I've been in. The service is mediocre at the best of times. There are a few ladies working here who could use a crash course in customer service...most notably - the owner. She acts like it's a privilege to purchase from her store, and I've witnessed her be outright rude to customers on several occasions. The final straw for me came earlier this week. I was in line to purchase a package of scones. Ahead of me was a lady buying some coffee. She was told that she could not use the debit machine unless she purchased something else to raise the total purchase! She was visibly upset, probably because she didn't carry actual cash, like most people these days! In retrospect, I should have paid for her order along with mine. Instead, I just put my bag of scones back and walked out, past the 2 tables of camped-out "regulars", never to return. Spend your money somewhere that appreciates it. This is not the only bakery in town!

Amazing and authentic Scottish bakery! Their scotch eggs and millionaires shortbread are especially delicious. Service is always great. I’ve gotten items to go and also placed advance larger orders and it is co sisterly good.

I just have to say, this place is wonderful! It’s filled with all kinds of delicious treats, and I can even find my favorite brands of tea, like PG and Yorkshire. There’s a nice area to relax in, and the staff is incredibly friendly. I truly love visiting here, and I'm not shy about sharing that!

Bakery is packed with so many types of sweets and breads. Friendly staff. I would buy their eclairs again if I happened to be in the area. They close at 4 and open at 7. Types of desserts: butter tarts, pies (Dutch apple, rhubarb, etc), cookies (sugar, gingerbread, chocolate chip, oatmeal kinds, etc), donuts, cookie wagon wheels, cupcakes, cheesecake slices, whole cakes, and some day old desserts available too, etc. They have dishcloths. Their desserts aren't overly sweet, which I like. Negatives: I wasn't happy with how dry and crumbly their Oatmeal Jumble cookies are. I wouldn't purchase again. Nice flavour though. The chocolate icing on their chocolate cupcakes has an unusual flavour added to it. I wouldn't purchase it again. The Cookie Wagon Wheel was okay, but nothing to write home about. Bought almond crescent cookies from Norris Bakery when I was out on a walk on this stunning bright cool day! The icing sugar had sprinkled off by the time I came home and one broke but these slightly crunchy almond cookies melted in my mouth! Finished them off with s’mores hot chocolate. Delicious! It was challenging to see the products with a table between me and the display cases because of Covid. Person was very patient and nice while I took my time to pick out the cookies I wanted.

My favorite bakery! They have such a great selection of beads, buns, pies, donuts and lots of little sweet treats. They do larger call ahead orders and are very accommodating. All the staff are so friendly and helpful! If you haven't tried them yet, you need to get their long John's. They're my family's favourite for a reason!

Don't believe the bad reviews!!! This place has been a staple for my family, and everyone we've shared them with, for over 50 years! The dinner buns are my childhood in a nutshell, but everything else has been top notch too. We were shocked and saddened to hear they are being forced out of the building. Our whole family hopes they land on their feet somewhere else... We'll follow them wherever they go. So take it from someone who knows, if they move to your neighborhood, lucky you!!!! You guys will me missed on Frederick!

I love this bakery. Everything is amazing and delicious and the staff are incredibly friendly. Just stepping in here makes my mouth water because it smells amazing. I always have a hard time picking out what I want, because I have yet to try anything I didn't love. Highly recommended for anyone with a sweet tooth!

We LOVE this bakery! We've been visiting this bakery for years and have never had a bad experience. The staff have always been very friendly as well. My advise is to go as early as you can to this bakery as it's popular and the good stuff is gone early and doesn't last long! Also, if you don't see something in the front, ask them if they have any in the back as they often do. Hopefully if you go to this bakery, you'll love it as much as we do!

I originally went in to get a long John donut as I had them before but it was sold out so I got a chocolate eclair which was amazing. Prices are really good and the lady was super friendly and stated that the long john donuts usually sells out so call in advance. Can't wait to go back again as they bake with love

Positives: I enjoyed their plain and blueberry scones. They were moist, and they don't try to add any other flavours to them, which I liked. The girl working there was masked with a cloth mask; I was glad that it wasn't just a face shield. The hand pies' pastry is flaky and nice. They seemed to be following all of the Covid-19 protocols like limiting customers in the store, encouraging distancing, and providing sanitizer, and plastic shields at the food counters and even near the entrance - great work! Negatives: I didn't see any Devon cream to go with their scones. Also, their buns were the worst I have ever purchased. They were dry, tasteless, and burnt tasting (I didn't want to make another stop somewhere else just for buns, which is why I purchased them). Zehrs' buns would have been better. 😮 We threw out the leftover buns. Also, their cheese and onion pie filling for their hand pies tasted like cheap, frozen, cheese pierogi filling from Zehrs, and it was mostly tasteless. The filling tasted processed. I was hoping to find somewhat of a substitute for the amazing cheese, potato, and onion hand pies (at the Handpie Company) that I had in PEI; I certainly didn't.

Really excellent sausage roll and cornish pasty, and a great selection of British sweets and groceries. I had every intention of trying to do one lap of the store before deciding what to buy but I found so many "must buys" for me on the first time through. I'm still on the quest for the best eccles cake in the area, though, as the pastry was a bit dense for my liking for an eccles cake

What a truly hidden gem in Cambridge! Full of imported snacks and goods, I was so happy to find English Dairy Milk Buttons (my favourite!) Jams, crisps and custards are also found here. There's an assortment of frozen meats in the back, as well as cold drinks. I picked up a loaf of Scottish bread, which was SO soft and moist - I had a plain slice in my car because I was excited by how good the bread felt and it tastes DELICIOUS just on it's own, highly recommend. The chicken curry pastry is also so tasty, I am impatiently planning my next visit to try the other types. The store itself is basically spotless and maintained very well. The woman who checked me out was pleasant friendly. My only regret is ruining wonderbread for myself after having their Scottish bread.

I had been to this bakery before. The lady a the counter seem to be racist and bit rude as there was a white lady in front of me and she was talking to her nicely. I would never to go to such place again and I got there chicken pastry and when i heated up afyer coming home it smell so bad i could not even open the bag.

It is a lovely store! We love their desserts! Some would say it's a bit pricey, but I think it's worth it :)

Nobody was working the front counter to place our order and had to order from the touch screen that was very glitchy. Waited 10 min for our order as it was erased from their screen “mistakenly”, couldn’t get a receipt for my order and every open table was completely filthy. Double stacked breakfast sandwich apparently means 1/2 piece of bacon. Wouldn’t recommend this location, if the dining room was filthy I wouldn’t want to see the prep station and kitchen. I Would recommend the manager take some pride and responsibility in their role and service.

Went at 8am so first thing in the morning and ordered an old fashion plain donut and received this. Looks like it’s been stuck in the oven since 10pm last night. Rock hard, you can actually see the oven lines in this donut. Absolutely horrible.

The coffee here is always fresh and tastes great! The shop is clean, and the service is excellent. Jaspreet is always so friendly and welcoming — she makes every visit a pleasant one. The whole team does a great job. Highly recommend this Tim Hortons!

I recently visited the Tim Hortons on [insert location if you want], and I had a really good experience. The place was clean, the coffee was fresh, and my order came out just the way I wanted. What really stood out, though, was the customer service — especially from Jasmeet. She greeted me with a big smile, took my order quickly, and even double-checked to make sure everything was right. It’s always nice to see friendly staff who care about their customers.

Flies clearly buzzing around all the food. When I let the staff know, they just said ok. Only after I started recording and they saw me did they take the food away. Absolutely disgusting, they need a health and safety inspection ASAP

I really like Tims in Pinnacle drive. Their service is quick and Jasmeet was kind enough to receive me and help me through my order. Definitely better service than certain Tims I have been too.

With the drive-thru under construction, I expected better service inside—but it’s been disappointing. Despite three staff behind the counter and no line, my two iced capps were not prepared while others were served who came after me. After waiting some more, I asked about my order, and a tired-looking employee apologized and made them right away. I’m a patient and understanding person, but lately the service has been poor, even when it’s not busy.

High quality goods. It's organized, clean. Prices were fair and staff was friendly. I tried the oatmeal cookies, peanut butter tarts, skor tarts, and butterscotch tarts. They all tastes good 👍 One of my managers recommended it to me and it was worth the drive.

Tasty tarts in flavours for everyone. I love the peanut butter, and the pecan...oh and the raisin....yes, and the plain ones.....did I mention the Skor tarts? Just can’t pick one. Yummy!!

These are the best butter tarts. Period. You should definitely stop by if you're local, but it's also worth the detour if you're passing by on the 401. It's 10 mins from the highway, and they're some of the best butter tarts in Ontario! Got too many? They freeze really well too. Good variety of flavours as well.

I was told their coconut tarts are fantastic. I love coconut tarts but these were very very disappointing. There was only a few sprinkles of coconut only. Real coconut tarts are full of coconut. Tried the lemon as well, again very very disappointing, the filling is instant that comes out of a box. The lemon tarts have very little flavour & are not tart like real lemon from scratch. Tried their flavour of the month.. Almond Joy. Very very disappointing as well. Almond Joy is coconut, chocolate & almonds. Again, these only had a few sprinkles of coconut, there was very little almond pieces as well. Talk about being really cheap with the fillings for the amount you have to pay for 6 @ 13.95 Won’t ever go back there again. Some people don’t know home made filling from artificial to say how good they are.

Our first time there and we got a mixture to bring home. The flavour is definitely there and the tart shell is good too however I find that the ratio of tart shell to filling is too much. Too much pastry, little bit of filling. Some tarts had more filling than others. Definitely no consistency. I would expect a good butter tart to have an abundant amount of filling. Based on the price of the product I would expect more for my money. Looking at previous reviews I am not the only one that feels this way. I am unsure we will be back as we cant justify the price for what we are getting in return.

This place is heavenly! You MUST visit!!! Tarts are soo yummy with a great assortment! They have "ugly but yummy tarts" at a discount which I thought was cute. Their pies you could have 1 pie with 2 different flavors or 1 pie with 4 different flavors, absolutely brilliant! Worked perfect for Easter, each person got their favorite pie!! Staff and owners are friendly and knowledgeable

Visiting this bakery today made my day! The coffee was absolutely delicious, and the treats were heavenly. I tried their pecan and chocolate tarts and also brought home their black forest roll, dinosaur cookie, and chocolate cake. Everything had the perfect level of sweetness. The black forest roll was my favorite with its surprisingly amazing sourcherry filling. The chocolate cake was my least favorite, because butter cream-even in the thinnest layers- is just not my thing. For fellow Persians looking for the perfect chocolate cake with fluffy chocolate ganache layers like 'BB cake' in town, this was not it. Keep looking! The prices were low, and the seating area was cozy, cute, and perfect for working. The staff were all friendly and a joy to talk to. The only downside was that my coffee and treats came in take-out containers. The best part of my experience was getting to chat with the owner, Klemens. He was so friendly and it was fascinating to hear about the history of the bakery and some of his life adventures. It really made my visit even more special! Overall, I really enjoyed my experience here and can't wait to come back and try even more delicious treats!

We have lived in Waterloo our entire lives embarrassed to say only started frequenting this fantastic bakery since October 2024...We are regulars now. Everything is fresh and delicious. We buy bread weekly but have also indulged in some of their beautiful pastries 🍰 😍 I also have an addiction to their Berliner .I have tasted them in Germany and in my humble opinion B&B Basket is WAY better than in Germany ❤️🥰 Please give them a try you won't be disappointed 😁😘

Ok...sooooo...I love bakeries and this place popped up on my Google search and I thought I would try it out. All I can say is... Where have you been all my life! Well it has been right there pretty much all my life! It is an amazing bakery, I timed it just right to get a fresh french loaf that was just out of the oven....amazing! And I had a selection of their pastries which were awesome! Just go here and you will not regret it! I would have taken pictures of the pastries but they disappeared rather quickly...no idea why.😂

This place is amazing! It's been here for as long as I can remember but I've never been. We finally gave it a try. Their sub sandwiches are sooooo good. They give you a lot of toppings and for a great price. My boyfriend loves their Bifana sandwich. Their baked goods are very good and fresh. This will be our new place for a quick bite

I was craving Napoleon pastry so I went to there. But, they don't have it this time so I ordered pudding first time. Almost half of pudding there were air bubbles in it. So, texture was not smooth I was little disappointed. But, taste was good! When I there last time I want to buy rice pudding. But, they don't have it. Because, I saw it before I went to here. Anyway, I asked them then they said "we are only carrying on Friday" but this time I went to Saturday. So, maybe change it now. Last time I thought too. It's really dangerous. Left side cash they have exit door. Which is it's connected by parking lot. When you drive to come parking lot you didn't know that door is. Only gray door and from outside door doesn't say anything. If open the door from inside (it's only exit door) sometimes car is just in front of you. But, if put up a sign the outside door it's really helpful to drivers and going out customers too. The driver also more carefully to drive when they pass by the door. And it's kind for everyone. So, please please make a sign on the door (for the outside). If you go to first time definitely nobody knows actually people come out the this door.

We are so glad we chose Azores for the buffet at our wedding (August 30th, 2025). Their dishes were wonderful and absolutely delicious, a huge hit with all our guests! We had a great mix of hot food and sandwiches that everyone loved. The customer service was amazing, and their help throughout the process made everything easy. Plus, the price was fantastic for the quality and quantity we received. We definitely ordered a bit too much (in a good way!) and ended up sending guests home with snacks for their drive, train, and plane rides. Stopped by today and picked up 2 loaves of sweet bread and an order for half chicken, rice and potatoes!! All food is amazing and delicious. Customer service was amazing as all staff are friendly and the staff kept up with how busy the place was when I arrived from out of town. Great food and before I leave cambridge I will have to pick up a loaf of sweet bread before leaving Cambridge.

Albert is the best donut shop ever! Beautiful store, amazing friendly staff super accommodating we thoroughly enjoy going to the donut shop. Whether it’s for a Saturday morning car ride to get a doughnut or if it’s grabbing boxes of donuts on cottage trips! Never disappoint. If you haven’t been do yourself a favour and go, your kids will love it and so will you I know I’m a sucker for a Dutchie they’re Dutchess are the best. Not that any other other donuts are not amazing because they’re all delicious.

We just had a rep from BadgerDaylighing bring us boxes of Albert’s doughnuts to our Defaveri job site. Let me tell you something……… These guys (Albert’s) blew everyone outta da wata!!! Da man has got perfection in his blood line. This has to be one of my first and foremost favourite doughnut shop/bakery. To find out they have 41 different kinds!!! Yes !!! 41!!! The lemon meringue donut is life altering. If you know you know. Hats off to the Badger rep that brought us these exquisite baked goods. You are definitely top 5 best donuts next to baker bobs in Sauble beach (which isn’t around anymore ) flavour consistency and out of this world choices of amazing baked goods. Absolutely thrilled to have this experience. If you don’t know…….. ya have to go check it out. Not one bad choice in 41 different flavours. Krispy Kreme who? Hamilton specialty donut shops watch out There is a new Nieghbour with amazing baked goods. It’s worth the drive to Cambridge. Let me tell ya …. People of Cambridge are lucky to have a place like this around. I’m jealous!

Wow! We were visiting from Michigan and I can easily say these are the best donuts I have ever had, anywhere. Fresh and tasty! We tried 3 donuts and a twist. We will be back again for sure. Bonnie was wonderful to talk with as well - she’s delightful and very helpful.

Cobs Bread Bakery welcomes you with a such a pleasant aroma of fresh baked goodies! They have a wide variety of options to choose from. Great selection of Bread Loafs; Savory Croissants; Buns; Baguettes; Focaccia as well as sweet baked goodies like Custard Danishes; Scones etc. The servers are very warm and welcoming. Weekends are usually a rush rush but it simply shows how good they are. This location is situated in a huge parking lot so parking around is not a problem.

I love coming to this bakery! The scones are out of this world. There are so many types of bread! The best one is the garlic and chive loaf for $8.50! You can also join their point system. Fresh bread, buns, really tasty treats. You can really spend lots of money here it becomes addicting!

I do come sometimes to grab some breads or bakery, but I have to tell every time I come in I always have the feeling not very welcomed, and I think the staff are just friendly to the westerns. Today I visited here since a while, and when I started to order the three girls were just glancing at me at the beginning and the black girl was just ignoring me. Luckily the girl at the very right side took the order in a friendly way, but I decided not to come here again. Not worth it for me having a bad feeling after my purchases. There are a lot of places where I can go more welcomed.

I don’t trust any other bakery chain in any city but COBS. Not only trust but LOVE this bakery. Every time flawless delicious, bread. Customer service deserves a sentence of its own. It is always impeccable, especially when it’s Molly dealing with me:) Always so so sweet and knowledgeable about the menu.

I'm obsessed with this place! <3 The breads are ridiculously delicious! They have this thing they call "teatime", which is a twisted sweet bread filled with berries and custard, and it's out of this world! They have great savory options, such as the cheese-jalapeno twist. Oh, and they sometimes give out free samples -- that's how I learned about the delicious blueberry-lemon scones! Seriously, I had no idea scones could be this good... Literally, the only downside of this bakery is my weight graph just shot up ever since I discovered it... I cannot convince myself to go easier on these amazing treats!

I visited layers of joy recently and was excited to try their cakes. While the staff were friendly, I was disappointed that the price changed at the last minute, which was unexpected. Additionally, the final cake I received was a bit different from what I had ordered. The flavors were good , but it didn’t fully match what I had envisioned. I hope they can improve this for a better customer experience.

We ordered a birthday Rasamalai cake from Lays of Joy and it was absolutely perfect! The design was beautiful, exactly what I asked for, and the flavour wow. Moist, rich, and not too sweet everyone at the party loved it. You can really tell they use quality ingredients and put care into their work. Highly recommend if you want a cake that tastes as good as it looks! They have opened a store in Cambridge also.

She was not only friendly and welcoming but also super attentive, ensuring I got exactly what I wanted. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely enjoys their work, and her positive energy was truly refreshing.And of course, the food was just as impressive! The desserts were fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. You can tell that quality and passion go into every bite. Never order a custom cake from here. Dont trust the instagram posts! I am extremely disappointed with the custom cake that i picked up for my birthday. I have listed below and attached photos of all of the mistakes made with the cake: - spelled my name wrong even though i confirmed it thrice. Now my name looks ugly - i was informed in the phone call tht the cake would be as smooth as the pictures you posted on instagram. But i literally see a finger print next to the “one”. I asked the cashier abt it and she told me “oh i didnt see it when i took it back in to fix the name. If i try to smoothen it it will ruin the cream” - the text is not centered at all. - theres not enough cream on the confetti or the text?? I paid 73$ for this and i get this?? - i also asked for no borders but somehow u misunderstood that and now there is a bottom layer that looks weird. While I understand that some of those could have been honest mistakes, some mistakes, like misspelling my name even though I had written it out in the text message and it could have been double checked by the decorator is inexcusable.

I’ve ordered from here before, and the first cake I tried — the Rasmalai flavor — was absolutely amazing! The base was super soft and spongy, and the sweetness was just perfect. That’s why I decided to try the Kaju Pista cake this time. However, this one was a bit disappointing — the base was slightly burnt at the bottom, and the filling felt quite dry and not as sweet as expected. The most wonderful little cafe in the area. Food is fresh and so flavourful. Customer service is excellent too. It’s worth repeating. My wife and I come here weekly. Definitely try the Acma and Simit sandwiches, but the star is the Baklava Cheesecake.

I cannot get enough of this Turkish vegetarian breakfast, lunch/brunch cafe. The semi-retired owner is so passionate. She refuses to settle for less than her vision dispute price; which is refreshing in today's environment. The goat cheese they use is Turkish (made in Germany), which is probably the best goat cheese you can get in town. The salads uses greens from the baker's garden, and the variety of breads they have are made in-house. Their flagship is their baklava. Being able to taste the notes of subtile flavour in them, these are some of the best baklava I had never had. I love coming here for afternoon fresh tea and lunch.

What a charming Café! The friendly owners make these exquisite pastries, both savory and sweet, that are all traditionally Turkish. I had a delicious sandwich with a strong Turkish tea. The sweet treat after was to die for! You can also buy staples such as olive oil there. I definitely recommend a visit!

Went here for a nice little outing on the weekend, and was greeted by the owner, who walked us through the menu, very helpful! The food was great, the acma buns specifically were amazing. I highly recommend this place, and will likely return if I'm in the area again.

Our wedding cake looked and tasted fantastic! We did 2 layers of red velvet and one layer of carrot cake. We got SO many compliments on how delicious the cake was. The ordering process was also super easy and we thought the price was reasonable.

An absolute show stopper. This cake was a major highlight of our event. We went with the two tier bakers choice cake and Q cakes really came through with something beautiful! Perfectly delicious (lemon cake with vanilla buttercream). Ordering was easy. Pick up was quick. Well priced. 5 stars.

Wowwwww Q’s Cakes exceeded my expectations in every way! The vintage heart cake we ordered was perfect, and tasted *incredible*. My friend actually said “I didn’t know cake could taste this good” LOL Super easy ordering process through their website, and the cake held up through a 2 hour transport to the cottage! Raquel has been making cakes for us for about 5 years and when I tell you she never misses, it’s true. The flavours are amazing, decorations are next level and given the cost of butter, a price I am happy to pay. The online order feature is amazing and Raquel and co are absolutely lovely

My sister had this cake made for my 30th birthday. It was so delicious and beautiful! The cake was red velvet flavor which was very well made.

The cake was good but there were some issues with it. They left the crust on the layers inside. You can see them in the pic. The crusts felt hard and bitter in the mouth. And the golden sprinkles/balls on top of the cake were rock hard. Like you have to struggle to crush them with teeth. The cake tasted and looked good but those two issues really disappointed us.

We ordered cupcakes for our son's birthday from Q's Cakes. The cupcakes (chocolate) are delicious, not too sweet, and moist. We went with the simple decoration for icing and rainbow sprinkles, and the cupcakes were beautiful. If you're looking for cupcakes I recommend Q's Cakes, we'll be going back there for sure.

No words to describe the experience. Food is absolutely incredible!!! I left the restaurant saying it was literally the best meal I've eaten in my entire life. It is a must if you are in Cambridge or their new location coming soon in Hamilton. I will be returning for one of their Pizza nights & for sure and will a million percent be back for another brunch. They have completely nailed Keto food/ Desserts. Only thing that needs improvement is the coffee 😉

Don't let the name fool you, this place is Keto friendly. A great find in downtown Galt, I would add this place to my "must go" list when visiting. We had the brunch tower and sat outside, so much food (too much for the two of us and our dog to eat).

Great breakfast, amazing service. We came after our daughters dance recital for breakfast, and before our sons dance recital. We ordered our breakfast, but it was taking a bit to come out. I asked the waitress Jess if it's going to be much longer, and explained our situation. She right away went to the back, and advised that another 5-10 minutes before our food comes out. Our food was out 5 minutes later, with apologies from chef for the delay. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast and at the end we were given a complimentary cup cake as a token of their appreciation for our business. Customer service is absolutely amazing and this is why I keep going back for more delicious Keto treats.

A must go when in downtown Cambridge. Service wise the staff were great and friendly, we did try Greg’s fave and some dessert and it was amazing. A keto heaven for sure ♥️

A very niche bakery, specializing in gluten-free, sugar free, and keto friendly products. There's plenty of free parking options in the area, and the space is accessible. They explained that even the staff eat only gluten free meals while on site for work, which shows their commitment to being 100% gluten free. They are committed to local products as well. I was quite impressed. I'm not a fan of gluten free or keto friendly products, so I wasn't too impressed with what I tried, but if that's your lifestyle, I'm sure you'll love this place. The ambiance is very laid back and cozy as well.

Great little shop. Had a chance to sample the keto cinnamon Donut, it was fantastic! Love the cheese bites I purchased. And looking forward to trying the chili lime pork rinds.

I’m not sure why this place got a high rating but I just dropped in for a shawarma plate and the amount of chicken wasn’t even enough to cover my rice! A few bites and my food is done! I would’ve been better off paying for a wrap which was cheaper! You want to know what a shawarma plate looks like for that price? Go to 1001 Nights Shawarma at block line road. They know how to make a plate for pretty much the same price. I MIGHT come back ONCE more to see if they have improved.

Have been today for the second time, best shawarma and shish tawook in town, tasty food and good portion. Highly recommended and they were so generous and friendly. Will be back again for sure. Keep up the good work.

Was Pretty good but a bit pricier then some other shawarma places, Had the Shawarma plate and the portion size was generous. The chicken was quite in flavor and cooking but but could have been seasoned more. I got it with the Greek rice and it was great for what is pretty much just rice. I really liked the salads and the bread that they included with the meal and I will be going again.

Very friendly owners. Had the special. Chicken shawarma and pop for $7.99. The Shawarma was very full, very tasty. I’m not sure if they make their own wraps but the wrap itself was exceptionally soft and fresh. Definitely worth checking out.

Food was good but if offering a deal such as the $5 chicken shawarma wrap, maybe should write what's included in it. I ordered it and while they were putting it together, I began to pick what toppings I would like. Only then I was told that it came only with pickles.. The worker was nice to put extra toppings this time.

One of the beat Shawarma and Falafel restaurants in town, I tried this place for 3 times now and I can feel the continuing improvement and better quality and customer service. Today I ordered Safiha ( meat on dough), I brought the meat as we like it made in a special way, they did bake it for as in a very nice way , the taste was fantastic and the price, quality, customer service are all great. Will always go back here , had a nice chat with the kind owner also , best of luck. Highly recommended

So we often order the banana chocolate cake from here. Which is pretty nice. But we just got the blueberry and mango Italian bombas. And they were so delicious!!! So worth $4.90 a bomba. They are super filled with the fruit puree.

My Honest Experience with La Cakery, Cambridge – Disappointed with Quality and Service I had recently placed an order for an eggless cake from La Cakery Cambridge and went to pick it up. To my surprise, the cake I received was completely different from what was shown in their display when I originally placed the order. When I called to inquire, I was told that this was exactly what I had ordered — which clearly wasn't the case. Despite paying close to $80 for an eggless cake, what I received was extremely plain and lacked any of the design elements I had expected. I was disappointed, to say the least. I even requested them to add some decorations, hoping they’d make it right, but they insisted on charging extra just to add basic designs — something I had assumed was already included based on what was shown earlier. Reluctantly, I brought the cake home with a generic floral design that they quickly added. But the real shock came when I tasted it — it was overwhelmingly sweet. I couldn’t eat more than a bite or two without feeling nauseated. Eventually, I ended up throwing the entire cake away. I’m not sharing this to defame any business, but I believe it’s important to share honest feedback so others can make informed decisions. Given the high price and the poor quality — both in terms of appearance and taste — I wouldn’t consider ordering from La Cakery again.

I first went to La Cakery when a cake I ordered from Zehrs was out of stock. I have never looked back! I’ve purchased multiple cakes and pastries over the last couple of years and have always been totally happy with their products! Absolutely delicious! Quality,flavour and visual appeal are second to none! Anytime there’s a family celebration, I always get asked to go to La Cakery! Well done! You guys are the best!

For a few years now, we have been ordering all our special occasion cakes from here and my family loves it! I have tried custom cakes before as well as just buying what’s already there. It’s always delicious and looks great! We also love the variety of slices and baked goods. It’s a great treat here and there. For my son’s school birthday, we ordered cupcakes and they were a hit! I also got a corporate box and they cut their square desserts into 4 for quick finger bites. There’s something for every occasion here! We love it 😊

Love this place and visit every time I’m around the area~ Has a little bit of everything, mostly Spanish food focused which is great! The desserts look as beautiful as they are delicious also at an affordable price. The bread was so fresh and 6 for $2 so I couldn’t leave without a bag. 😊

They have a few bangers but a lot of their pastries look "meh" to me. I think if you go for basic bread or their hot meals you will find some value but for most pastries and overall quality I suggest Azores bakery instead. Still it's nice to have another local option when Azores is a bit too much of a drive.

What an idiotic woman I asked what hot food is available to which she replied chicken and rice. I said I will have that, chicken and rice. I get home and realized she’s given me refrigerated chicken ice cold and no rice. Served me not even heated but cold food. I phoned asking what she gave me and why and not even an apology just says okay you can bring back the chicken and I’ll give you your money and says I didn’t know you wanted rice… idiotic woman who’s ears are just painted on for looks and not listening and doesn’t even have the decency to apologize properly after messing up my lunch, now don’t have a lunch to eat and had to log in for work with no time to eat. Unbelievable. I still don’t understand who sells cold chicken and expects the customer to go cook it at home never seen such a thing. Weird. I went all the at there on my break and no food to eat wow!

Euro pastry is a good local spot. There is a range of classic pastries for a very reasonable price. My favourites are the cannolis, brownies, and mini cheesecakes. I like to buy local and my family loves this place🥐

Wonderful bakery in KW, ON Canada. Fresh bread, pastries, daily. Did you ever wonder what happens to their unsold inventory at the end of the sales day ? They donate all the goods to various local shelters arranged by various Churches in this region. What a wonderful way to help out those who need it and can’t afford it ! Bravo Cobb’s for their benevolence & care.

In BC a hundred years ago well maybe not that many I used to eat tea biscuits for breakfast from a restaurant I waitressed in. When I moved to Ontario to take care of brother I could not find them and it was difficult. I eventually got addicted to croissants. I have had other things that just haven't satisfied my desires. Your scones with fruit are amazing and made me very happy. Then one day I got a loaf of bread with dried fruit in it when I cut into it my heart sank with something I hadn't seen in awhile. The loaf was brownish with lumps sorta of and the dried fruit was in it. I cut a slice and toasted it. Slathered it with butter and had a bite. My eyes closed with so much love for the taste, texture, the feel. With every chew it brought me back to a life without so much heart ache as I have now. I eat every single piece of this bread feeling so good it brings me to tears. So thank you. Though I can't afford to really shop in your store for financial reasons I do get your bread from the food places. I am so thankful you donate and help people in need and give so much satisfaction to people like myself. Again thank you for some good memories in my life and others I'm sure.

White loafs and dinner rolls are good. They Make some really good scones and cinnamon rolls. Much better than super market breads.

I love Cobbs. Best sourdough I've had in a while. I lather butter on a couple slices and put em in the air fryer for a few minutes. Employees are always friendly and willing to answer questions. Love it.

The staff have always been friendly, encouraging of questions and offering suggestions. Inventory is always fresh, and they donate the unsold items to charity. Bonus! Location is clean and bright, although a bit small - the waiting area can get quite packed during busy times. Hence the 4 instead of 5 stars.

The jalapeño twist is my fave and my go-to order for over 10 years now! I love how they added in the jalapeño buffins HOWEVER please consider adding more jalapeños to the buffins and perhaps some inside the buffin and not just on top. I’m just obsessed with jalapeños LOL. If they had more incorporated throughout, I’d order them way more often. I love this place!

If you're looking for ice cream and ice cream cakes, this is definitely one of the places to go. Multiple flavors and styles, and a hefty selection for all holidays. Decor inside is cute and modern. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The donuts are cold and mediocre (even Walmart ones are better), the smoothies are bland, and the time for food prep is extremely long (2 drinks and donuts took roughly 20 to 25min to prep...but hey at least they were fresh?). Visually, the place has great looking treats. But the taste...the taste is worse than grocery store bought pastries. If you're here for the 'gram, then come on in. However, if you're looking for a decent snack, just go to Farm Boy across next door.

Visited this place for the first time and had an incredible experience! I was craving donuts, and the lovely staff recommended a chocolate-dipped one — exactly what I needed. Since I love Oreo, she suggested topping it with Oreo crumbles… and wow, it was heavenly! 😍 She also mentioned the store just reopened last week — everything feels fresh and welcoming. Can’t wait to come back and try their ice cream next time. 100% worth a visit if you’re a dessert lover like me!

I have tried other La Diperies (Burlington, & Kitchener ) that made me want to go back, they were great! When I saw we were getting one in Cambridge I was so excited. I went it when it first opened and was disappointed with the service and the icecream. At the other locations the large size ice creams were HUGE and an extremely good portion for the price. I went back multiple times. When I came to this location I noticed the large comes were not as big as they should be. With in inconsistent sizes for a large and the price you pay I took a break and didn’t wanna go back. Earlier today I decided to return, nothing changed infact, it was worse than the past times. The icecream was a mess, the person working didn’t even attempt to clean the icecream dripping before she handed it over. They for some reason didn’t have vanilla soft serve? But had chocolate soft serve. won’t be returning payed $17 for two messy cones to end up in the garbage unfortunately.

I had a great experience at this ice cream store! There are so many delicious flavors to choose from, and everything I tried was amazing. The customer service was excellent -friendly, helpful, and made the visit even more enjoyable. I also really appreciate that the store is open until midnight, which makes it a perfect late-night treat spot. I would definitely recommend others to give it a try!

This place looks like one i had in Montreal, A franchise but menu and taste is very similar i got ice cream and it tasted really nice, the dips are so delicious you can get your softy, ice cram cheese cakes, donuts every thing dipped in any flavour dips, this place is so much better then DQ or Ds must try this on hot summer day, I confirmed they are open till midnight now, I visited month ago buy looks like previous management didn’t ensure hours buy new owners are looking serious. Server told me they are looking at some offers soon cant wait.

New best dessert place, soft serve with so much variation is extra ordinary, server was extremely polite, and availability of products was exceptional, i heard they have changed management so if you had a bad experience it would be worth trying again. Easily one of the best dessert places.

I attended Lucio's the other day for the first time. Here is my honest opinion… The Portuguese Donuts are fresh and the custard filling is quite good. You won't want to eat one in your car, as the sugar coating will cover your clothes and the seat itself, but all you need is one for a filling snack. The Italian Sausage was a surprise, as it's an actual sausage, not the ground meat I expected and have become accustomed to. It was like stopping at a hotdog cart in a way, and I don't think I'd buy one again. Finally, the bread. Very tall, unusually sized loafs, but large enough for the price. The tops are charred (blackened)… and when you open the bag you can smell the char. I buy such loaves to slice them thick and then broil them as garlic bread, although the top crust is much too crunchy to eat. So, for my purpose, the loaf I bought at Lucio's was fine. It is almost unfair to rate a bakery on the basis of one visit only, however I wanted to share my initial experience. The staff person was very pleasant, and the shop looks clean and well organized…and as one would expect, rather sparse. I certainly look forward to more of their delicious donuts, and I hope to bring home a pie or some such item to sample very soon. For this visit, and based on the product I received, I give Lucio’s a 3+ rating.

Hard to spot from the street as it just looks like a house. Small and unpredictable selection. Sausage rolls, coffee, and butter tarts were all good. Waiting to try their sourdough bread which was a tad pricy at $7 for a small loaf. Please note that this location is not at all handicapped accessible.

We’ve been enjoying Lucio’s sourdough bread the past few weeks. Yesterday I bought a donut too and wow! So fresh and delicious. It’s great having Lucio’s nearby. Highly recommend.

Great products at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, everyone knows they're great, so everything sells out almost immediately. The baker is making new pastries & rolls & bread all day long, but you basically have to show up when he takes it out of the oven if you want some. On the plus side, though, you know what you get will be fresh! I have heard that the owner is trying to hire an assistant baker so that he has a better chance of meeting demand. Let's hope he's successful! Our little town needs shops like this one. EDIT - bakery has moved from Ayr to Kitchener. Same great products.

We are so lucky to have this incredibly talented baker in our small town. Everything is delicious but our favorites are the flaky pastries, buttertarts, wheat-free peanut butter cookies and dairy-free gelato bar with more than just fruit flavors (yum - butterscotch!) The baker himself is usually right there working away, showing his appreciation for the purchase with a bright smile. The buns & rolls are so amazing, they elevate burgers & sandwiches to another level. They do have hot foods as well for lunch and a small coffee bar with local Baden Coffee. This place is a must try in my opinion.

It's the best place around really. Valentines's day, I had them deliver treats to a lot... a LOT of women and everyone was super pleased. Go there instead of buying treats at the grocery, you'll be glad you did. Thanks to the staff there for always being GREAT

Who knew such a gem of a bakery was so close? Couldn't just choose one or two baked goods. Came home with many delicious delicacies. It's our treat each week. Not only are the items beautifully decorated but they are delicious!!!
