Oscar Moon's Milkshake Bar, located at the popular dining and entertainment hub Stovehouse in Huntsville, offers a delightful experience reminiscent of a vintage diner. The bar serves hand-spun milkshakes, craft sodas, floats, and sundaes made with high-quality ingredients such as Ghirardelli chocolate and Blue Bell ice cream. The antique decor and throwback barstools create a nostalgic ambiance that transports visitors back in time.
This place is simply AMAZING!!! I got the Bourbon Chocolate Pecan Pie (I asked for white chocolate instead). The server was kind and gave me the “have it your way” type of luxury! The milkshake was a 10/10! Would reccomend!
Tonisha G — Google review
Have you ever experienced milk shakes before? The answer is no until you come to Oscar moons. They are the real deal and all the options are delicious.
Bill H — Google review
The milkshakes and floats are good. The customer service needs serious attention. There wasn’t any greeting (even though we were literally right in front of them) and dry responses to our questions. My family raved about their previous experience at Oscar Moon’s so I was really looking forward to enjoying my first visit to this establishment. Unfortunately, I did not have the same positive experience.
Mstoot7 — Google review
Very cute and quaint place. A little pricey but a great place to try with unique milkshake options. Highly recommend you check it out if you are in the are and love milkshakes
Rach S — Google review
Omg first time coming here and got the bourbon chocolate pecan pie shake. Oh wow!!!! Delicious. My new fave shake place.
Soror W — Google review
Our son lives in the area and every time we visit, we stop by for a milkshake, usually the chocolate horsejackery. Their milkshakes are consistently good and I like the fact they’re willing to split them into two separate cups so my husband and I can share one. The servers are usually friendly and the entire area is a fun environment.
Cindy W — Google review
I got the mint scout and it did not disappoint. Great experience here. Great flavor.

Oscar Moon's Milkshakes is amazing! The shakes are thick, creamy, and full of flavor, and the retro vibe of the shop makes it extra fun. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Definitely a must-visit spot in Huntsville!

Coffee lover rejoice! The Cozy Cow is a must-stop for any caffeine addict in Huntsville. This delightful little shop is crammed with tons of delicious coffee and tea options, as well as some yummy treats. If you're looking for something to do while you sip your java, check out their calendar of events. You definitely won't regret dropping by The Cozy Cow!
My family and I have attempted to visit The Cozy Cow whenever we walk around downtown, but we always miss their open business hours. But not today! We walked in, (only because the open sign was on), and discovered that they closed in 8 minutes! They ladies were super friendly and graciously helped us and we’re so grateful for their kindness and excellent customer service! We had a custom banana split (cotton candy and peach ice cream), peach ice cream and buttered crunch ice cream. Each flavor was delicious and great quality! We will definitely be back when they’re open and operating so that we can get the full Cozy Cow experience!
Mstoot7 — Google review
Great shop with a nice selection of food, coffee, and other drink items. We will definitely remember this location for future visits to the Huntsville area
Patrick W — Google review
I love coming here with my girls. The food is very good and affordable. Two hamburgers, a fountain drink, and a medium coffee is 25$. My girls love their ice cream and smoothies. This place is perfectly placed for our days in the park. Service is always great and workers are nice. It is a little crammed inside, that is the only con though.
Kevin H — Google review
A great little place for coffee, ice cream, and fabulous deli sandwiches.
Michael B — Google review
First time in this cute little shop! Cozy Cow was the cutest place, great atmosphere! I got a large white chocolate hot coffee and my son got 2 scoops of the mint ice cream. I think the scoops were a little small, skimpy for two scoops, but he liked it. I love my coffee, drank it fast it was so good. Decent size. Paid $15 for both of those items.
Shamrock M — Google review
Walked in with 3 coworkers Us: Good morning Employees: no acknowledgement Stood at the counter in front of employee does not look up. We then said good morning again she looked up no acknowledgement. I stated Good morning again u can at least speak She said no I’m reading. Asked for the manager she states I heard it. Neither did she speak Horrible Horrible service. Of course we left we were not welcomed there. Totally unacceptable
LaSonya C — Google review
When we walked in we were not greeted. Not even a smile. Every single worker looked at us and didn’t say a word. This was our first time so we were unsure where to order, pay or even look at a menu. When it was our turn to order the young girl with purple hair looked at us and didn’t say a word. After a few moment of looking at each other she finally said “are y’all ready to order” in the snarkiest tone. While three other customers were getting grade A treatment from this one worker (long black and pink hair) who was asking if they wanted to sample every ice cream in the freezer section. It seems this establishment does not service all people, only their kind. I won’t be back. I will not spend another dime in this establishment.
Raven M — Google review
Super cute little café area with a great cow theme! My husband and I went for coffee and it was okay, but both of our drinks were pretty sweet. I got a dirty vanilla chai and didn’t taste any espresso, just a super sweet chai flavor. My husband liked his drink pretty good, too, just a caramel latte, but next time I think we’ll go back for the food instead!

Ice cream shop
Located on University Drive in Huntsville, Three Scoops is a beloved local ice cream shop offering a variety of sweet treats, including ice cream, yogurt, shakes and more. Founded by a family trio with the goal of providing their community with delicious options, the shop features flavors like Mexican Hot Chocolate, Sunken Treasure and Cherries N Cream. The owners have plans to expand their services to include catering and mobile vending. Customers appreciate the consistently good quality and rich flavors of the ice cream.
Good selection of flavors, very clean. Extremely nice employees working. I think a bit overpriced on the larger volumes of ice cream. I bought a 16oz container for $10 took it home to serve 2 people, this was 6 scoops of ice cream. It was so soft, when served it barely made 2 servings. The flavor was good. Would go back but not purchase in volume again, it's not cost effective. Good for a single cone or serving. Another customer bought a shake, that looked really good. Diverse menu of different dessert combinations they could make.
Travis — Google review
First time trying 3 Scoops. They served us such a large, fat scoop I had to start eating it before I could take a picture. It would have fell off or melted too much. But it was so good! I got the sherbet and no sugar added Carmel pecan. My husband got strawberry. His was also tasty. I will definitely be back. We spent about $12. That’s it!
Shamrock M — Google review
They agreed months in advance to serve at our corporate event. The night before they confirmed they would be there. The day of they were a no show. They didn't call to cancel they just didn't show up. 10/10 would recommend doing business elsewhere.
Jordan K — Google review
This place has been consistently good. The flavors and quality is well made with most of the ice cream typically having a rich smooth taste. I'm a big chocolate person and enjoy the ones they offer (usually get it in a large shake). They have (I think) about 20-30 flavors. My son loves coming here and the staffs always been great. We had Peyton serve us today and was really patient with helping my son pick just the flavors he wanted and allowed him to try what ever he thought he wanted. Great location, always clean and tastes great.
Josh G — Google review
The ice cream was pleasantly satisfying however i was very disappointed with the cost for the amount of ice cream i received. I think the cost was $4.50 a scoop. I asked for one scoop in a cup. With that being said i was expecting that scoop to at least fill up the bottom of the cup and unfortunately that was not the case. The scoop i received actually fit on a plastic spoon. Very disappointed. To each his own but i wont be going back
RKnox — Google review
First time visit. Customer service was friendly and helpful. Although the lines were busy we were able to get through fairly quickly. They were out of flavors listed online. In addition, the portion sizes were very small for the prices. I ordered an Oreo ice cream (two scoops)and my husband ordered a Brownie. The ice cream is delicious however, my husband was not pleased with the little half of expensive brownie.

Ice cream shop
Handel's Ice Cream in Jones Valley, Alabama is a beloved ice cream parlor that has been serving up delicious homemade ice cream since 1945. The shop offers a wide variety of flavors including ice cream, sorbet, sundaes, and shakes. Customers can enjoy their treats at the walk-up window or take them to go and stroll around the nearby park. Visitors rave about the quality of the ice cream and appreciate the option to sample flavors before making a decision.
Solid selection of quality ice cream, right next to Peppered Pig, and adjacent to two ponds. Great place to stop for a sweat treat after lunch, and take a walk around relaxing scenery. Same quality as the Handel's on 72, but much better ambience. Worth a visit!
Joshua K — Google review
Usually the butter pecan is perfect but last night, sooo many pecans, could barely taste the ice cream, not sure who was in charge of that batch but it’s like they dumped a huge bag in the batch. Me and my husband come here to get butter pecan pints at least two or three times a week because that’s how good it is and it’s convenient since we live in the neighborhood but my pint last night was terrible and also almost broke my tooth while chewing on the pecans, I guess there were shells in there, felt like a rock, that was a first also. Maybe the person just didn’t know how to really make it, maybe new employee or a bad day lol but like I said it’s usually so creamy and buttery with just the right amount of pecans.
Ms. T — Google review
Handels ice cream is consistently good. Never had a flavor I didn’t like or a concern about freshness. For this visit, I had the Pistachio ice cream and my wife had the key lime ice cream. Both were delicious. Due to its popularity there is usually a line. But it moves quickly.
Tommy J — Google review
Needed some ice cream for dessert and did a quick search of ice cream near me and viola, Handel’s! So many flavors to choose from I did the 4 flavor sampler and I was impressed! 4 scoops for $5.95, that’s a deal! The quality of the ice cream was some of the best I’ve had, and I’ve had a lot! LOL! If I lived nearby then this would be my go to ice cream place!
Jonathan G — Google review
My husband and I have had ice cream all over the world. And his favorite is Graham central station. He always got it in Iowa. And when he saw that they had it here and it taste the same . He was so happy. The ice cream is so good and thick. You will not be disappointed.
Cindy H — Google review
Ice Cream and Sherbet are divine! The location is perfect! With a walk up window to order, there is some seating in front or in back of Handles. But you might opt to get your cone to go and walk around the park just across the bridge! After reading some of the reviews, I decided to try the 4 Flavor Sampler! Great option, I should have asked for a cone on the side for some crunch. The young lady behind the counter was patient as I tried a few flavors to see what I wanted. I settled on Praline Crunch which was creamy with little pralines and nuts with a ripple of caramel. My second choice was Lemon 🍋—also creamy with a hint of cookie or shortbread. My third option was the June Flavor of the Month, Orange 🍊 Pineapple 🍍 — very creamy with delicious orange flavor and a tropical edge of pineapple. My final selection was a Raspberry Sherbet. This was the best by far, the deep ruby color and the intense raspberry flavor was something I hope to go back and try again! Definitely a place you should consider stopping if you fancy some delicious ice cream!
Elyse H — Google review
I love the ice cream but the last two times I have tried to order online (DD) my order has been cancelled and the store is "closed" right after on the DD site. Both times I was also trying to redeem a $10.00 credit. A credit that I earned from buying from Handel's in the first place. Not saying it is related, but who knows?! I say if the store is not accepting orders from DD for whatever reason just don't be an option. That's just good business. I would have gone to the store if it had not been on DD but now I'm just angry. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Credit or no credit, I love the ice cream, but I can also live without it.

Chicken restaurant
If you're in Huntsville, make sure to stop by Super Chix on Memorial Parkway for a delightful culinary experience that perfectly balances sweet and savory flavors. This charming eatery specializes in chicken sandwiches, offering options like Nashville Hot and Blackened Cajun, all of which pair beautifully with their creamy, house-made custard—ideal for those warm summer days.
First time here and happened upon this place on accident and decided to try it. It's one of our Favorites now!! They have REAL chicken tenderloin tenders cooked fresh with the BEST home cut fries ever! All their sauces are Great and homeade!! Friendly staff and the Restaurant is very Clean! LOVE THIS PLACE!! If you are in Huntsville, try it! ❤️
Amy J — Google review
I enjoyed my meal but I would not eat here again if I had a choice. Nashville Hot is a fickle mistress. One that's difficult to get right. You really have to have a fine balance between the heat and good flavor. Unfortunately Super Chix decides to go full on heat which does leave the flavor lacking. The fries are plentiful and pretty good and my wife's chicken sandwich was large and she enjoyed it. Service was good, very friendly folks. The prices are pretty insane I will say that. Very expensive. They also advertise jumbo chicken tenders but take a look at the photos and let me know if you think that the ones I was served really deserve that moniker. There are certainly better places to get chicken in Huntsville. I personally was disappointed based on the high review score. The group we ate wish shared similar sentiments, especially regarding price.
Will L — Google review
We had the chicken tenders, fries and coleslaw. This is our 4th visit with consistent excellent food quality and service! The restaurant is always clean and well maintained.
Tommy J — Google review
Great food and service! This was our first time eating here and it did not disappoint! Staff are very helpful and kind. Very clean and neat! I am not a fry person but I liked their fries because they were small and crispy. They are homemade fries. A regular size fry was enough for me and my husband both. My Dr Pepper was really good! Totally recommend!
Treasea M — Google review
Went here for lunch today for the first time, I’ve had catering before but never come myself in person. I was truly impressed! Customer service and overall atmosphere were both wonderful. Everything came out way faster than we were expecting— it was HOT and SUPER fresh, and absolutely delicious. We got chicken tenders, fries, and a buffalo chicken sandwich. We also tried all of the sauces and there literally wasn’t a bad one in the bunch! We don’t live close by but this will definitely will be somewhere we will come back to if we’re in the area!
Kirsten B — Google review
Best chicken place around, hands down! The food and service were excellent. Everything was fresh and hot, my chicken was moist, and my fries were crispy. The employees were super friendly and helpful. My only complaint was that the music was a little loud for my taste, but easily tolerable. Overall, an excellent experience!
Gina G — Google review
I ordered 3 things. Tenders, salad and fries. I was asked about whether I wanted salt on my fries. Yes. How many of the dressings I wanted. 4 What did I get? Salad and Tenders. No fries, no sauce. 33% of my order is missing. I got back to my hotel, parked in a parking garage, and presented my husband who wasn't feeling up to going out, with ½ a meal, while I ate a dry salad. Do I blame myself for not emptying out the entire to go bag on their counter to see if it was right? Sure. (I could have held up the ordering line, if there was one. But there wasn't. Not one order after me, so not busy.) The real blame, is not having a simple ck list to ensure the order is correct. I saw a mgr come out and look around the dining area while I was waiting. Perhaps next time he could actually get involved in managing. Thanks for a miserable experience and stealing my money for food you didn't prepare for me.
Lisa Z — Google review
Hubby and I went for an early dinner today, he said I would be happy with the food, but this restaurant far surpassed my expectations. We both ordered the 4 piece fried chicken tenders and salted fries, I got my fries loaded. Everything here is cooked to order, so make sure you have the time to wait. Even with it being made to order, it took less than 10 minutes from the time we ordered till we got our food brought to our table. The tenders were delicious, the breading was well seasoned and the chicken was nice and juicy. And the fries...holy moly!!! A regular order is huge! The queso was so good. And let's talk about the service here. While we were eating, a young man came over to make sure everything was good and he offered us a complimentary scoop of their custard. When we were done, another worker came and took our trays away. This is definitely a restaurant we will be adding to our roster. He loves this place and I do too now.

If you find yourself in Huntsville, a visit to Big Spoon Creamery is an absolute must for any ice cream lover. This charming ice cream parlor has quickly become a local favorite since its opening in June, known for its small-batch artisanal creations and what they call "unreasonable hospitality." With two locations now serving the Rocket City, it's not uncommon to see eager customers lining up to savor their delightful offerings.
It's amazing the difference quality ingredients and creative culinary expertise can add to a simple scoop of ice cream! The menu is very well curated and each flavor seems to be aimed at a very specific palette. I look forward to trying more flavors.. if I ever get over the ones I already fell in love with! 🤤

Y’all this ice cream is incredible! I was visiting in town and had to go twice it was so good. All their flavors have a depth and sophistication that most other shops can’t claim. Go out of your way to enjoy this treat!
Cannon V — Google review
It was our first time trying Big Spoon Creamery. The ice cream was delicious. I had the Chilton County Peach in a waffle cone and my husband got the Cookies and Cream in a bowl. The ice cream was a great treat after our walking around in our beautiful downtown. Side note, they have a cute little table and chairs area for children in the store.
Jan N — Google review
I had an amazing experience at Big Spoon Creamery! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff was incredibly friendly and provided excellent customer service, making sure I found the perfect flavor. The ice cream itself was top-notch—rich, creamy, and full of flavor. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients. Whether you’re a classic vanilla fan or love trying unique flavors, there’s something for everyone. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dessert spot. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Big Spoon is undoubtedly the best ice cream shop in Huntsville -- and far beyond. As a Huntsville Realtor, I often treat out of town clients to Big Spoon and it has never disappointed. The unique and rotating flavors always keep the experience interesting. My family loves it too!

Cozy chic for blissful Holiday desserts and decadent hot chocolate is Big Spoon Creamery in Huntsville, AL! I have already been back since my first introduction to this dessert paradise by my niece on October 15, 2023. My favorite is the Lemon Sorbet or Meyers Lemon with that fantastic pumpkin spice waffle cone. Made with rich cocoa beans, this hot chocolate treats the inner senses to the kindest hug ever. A decor of snazzy, modern-industrial style, bold exposed ductwork, with sleek, minimalist tiling mixed with warm bamboo wood welcomes sophisticated patrons to an intimate conversationalist spot or a downtime oasis for one.

Earth and Stone Wood Fired Pizza is a spacious pizzeria with a warehouse-like atmosphere, featuring wood-fired ovens that produce a diverse selection of delicious pies. The restaurant also offers outdoor patio seating for guests to enjoy their meals. Owned by Tina Ford and Stan Stinson, the establishment is part of their innovative culinary ventures in Huntsville, which include other concepts such as barbeque and a self-pour craft beverage space.
It’s attached to a brewery so drink options are amazing! But the staff was so laid back and mellow it made it feel like I was just hanging with people I know. This really is wood fired pizza and you can ask them to cook it a little longer to make it extra crispy if you like it like that. Super good pizza. It’s not a complex pizza just simple and straight to the point. Flavor was nice and the names are fun. Great for the whole family

Excellent pizza but the workers here are usually very rude, angry and disgruntled. There are nice workers here, don’t get me wrong, but I never know who will be making the pizzas. I never get red sauce so the cheese tends to be light. I always pay for extra cheese and every time they never add it! I always pay for extra basil and never do they do that either! For $28 a pizza, you better do what the customer is asking or else you will lose business. We would come here and get about 10 pizzas a month, and out of total frustration I altogether stopped coming here. Please improve on your service. The lady with reddish hair who makes the pizzas is an absolute pain in the butt and rude! Get rid of her. She gives bad service and does a lousy minimal job making pizzas! She is costing you business!!!

We were underwhelmed. After reading the reviews we expected great pizza, the crust was soggy. Staff were friendly and attentive, and our pizza was done in a timely manner. System for ordering was great and efficient, staff was knowledgeable and offered good suggestions.

Listen it’s rare I take the time to leave reviews on places but i was extremely disappointed by this place… they have pictures of slices online but you can only get them on Friday and Saturday nights apparently, which is kind of misleading and irritating in my opinion.. I’m from out of town so I was trying to stop somewhere fast and to find out somewhere I thought sold spices doesn’t, like I don’t have time to go somewhere else now. I will say they helped me out and gave me one from night before. Service was wonderful. But it was $14 for two slices with 2 toppings which is already insane pricing to me… then they came out burnt and absolutely no cheese on them… for $7 a slice. This is truly one of the worst slices I’ve ever had. Then it was an entire dollar for a tiny cup of ranch on top of it. After paying essentially $20 for two mediocre slices of pizza after tip yall need to charge a whole dollar for ranch? Like just wayyy over priced and not good at all. If I didn’t feel bad for the staff I would go up and ask for a refund, that’s how crappy this pizza is. Like it’s edible. That’s all. I would not come here for food. Brewery is cool but eat somewhere else 😅 maybe whole pizzas are better. I wouldn’t chance it at this price point.

Absolutely Outstanding! Earth and Stone Brick Oven Pizza in Huntsville is hands-down one of the best pizza spots in town! We ordered the Porkalicious, The Patriarch, The Buffalo Chicken, and The Clyde pizzas — all were incredible. The crust had that perfect wood-fired crisp, and every bite was full of bold, smoky flavor. To top it off, the house-made ice cream was phenomenal — the Strawberry Cheesecake, Rocky Road, and Bourbon Butter Pecan were rich, creamy, and unforgettable. Great service, cozy atmosphere, and unbeatable flavor. Highly recommend for anyone who loves real, handcrafted pizza and local charm! 🍕🍨🔥

Great pizza, great atmosphere. Margherita and Latham pizzas were both delicious.

Solid little spot for a quick yummy lunch. We had the lunch special with a patriarch pizza (gluten free crust) and two salads. We also had a side of meatballs. Everything was pretty good. The toppings were proportionate for the pizza. The gluten free crust came crunchy which was a plus but was also really chewy in texture. If you eat GF then you know that can’t be helped sometimes (it’s the flour). The meatballs were pretty tasty as well. The atmosphere and the service were great! Overall I’d give them a thumbs up. 👍🏽

Earth and Stone is my favorite pizza place in Huntsville. Their in-house, massive pizza ovens deliver crispy slices you won’t find in many other places. There are excellent outdoor seating options and plenty of parking. I highly recommend eating Earth and Stone if you’re looking for one of the best pizzas in Huntsville.

Steel City Pops is a popular popsicle store located in Huntsville, known for its unique and delicious frozen treats. With a permanent cart at Bridge Street Town Centre, it offers a wide range of flavors including Strawberry Lemonade, Vanilla Bean, and Blood Orange. The shop's diverse menu includes unconventional options like pineapple jalapeno alongside more traditional choices like strawberry. Customers appreciate the exceptional customer service and the cozy atmosphere with Alabama-themed murals adorning the walls.
Such a cool and trendy place. I got the peanut butter pop dipped in milk chocolate with almonds and it was so good. I thought the popsicle would be super hard but it wasn't. They also do like birthdays and weddings which I thought was neat!
Jessica E — Google review
The pops here are a good treat. Definitely different from what you hey in the freezer section at the grocery store. I think $4 is way overpriced, but for the occasional treat they're okay. Pro life tip, the Steel City Pops inside Lowe Mill are only $3 and they have a little bigger variety.
Dave J — Google review
Overpriced, super icy pops. Visited on 5/31/21 and the poor kid working said it was his 3rd day to another customer that was maybe a friend. He looked like the only one there. The AC also must have been out, because it was miserable inside. We got an orange dream float, which was ok at best and a strawberry pop with a waffle cone. We wanted it dipped, but we’re told it wasn’t available. Both pops were more icy than creamy, even though we picked from the creamery side of the menu. Overall, the pops from the grocery store would have been just as satisfying. What a bummer.

Stopped by for the first time last night and it was great! I think the price is right for the quality ingredients and great taste! I am a big fan Coconut so I had the Coconut cream pop and it was beyond my expectations!

Kind, knowledgeable, helpful customer service and pops that are divine in both flavor, presentation, and consistency. Also, I'm super impressed that Christmas decorations consist of the manger scene and that ornaments such as the word, "blessed" was on display. I love the look and feel of the atmosphere and that the murals on the wall were representative of the state of Alabama in ways of the silhouettes of our historical sites and monuments. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely the best place to go to get a treat! Fair prices. Good products. Of course sometimes they sell out a certain flavor which makes one sad, but that's okay because we know how popular these items are and how good they are.

We’ve been coming to yogurt mountain for four years now, ever since my kiddos started school. The store is always so clean and inviting when we arrive. Great option for families. All kinds of flavors and toppings. Plenty of seating. Really enjoyable experience. Would recommend/ will return. The no sugar added strawberry sounds bland but is actually amazing. Mix it with caramel pretzel and you have strawberry pretzel salad. Everything I tried there was really good.

Although the froyo is delicious, the staff at least today was absolutely terrible, don't like people don't work there or anywhere for that matter, I know being on the phone on Twitter and Facebook is important but if you kept your stuff stocked you wouldn't have to stop playing on your phone! Around 3:30pm today 5-28-2025 there was no bananas in the container easy fix i am limited to what I can and cannot have, my mother in law asked nicely if they would mind to restock the bananas the girl rolled her eyes and said "well.... I guess I can cut some" very rude its your job why come off that way. Poor poor staff.
Cyber — Google review
Lots of topping & syrup choices and a great "happy hour" (28 oz. cup for $8). They have several non-dairy options, which I appreciate since I have a family member who can't have dairy. The one downside is I think they could use a couple more fruit toppings (they have lots of fruity candy, not much actual fruit though).

First time at Tastee’s and we ordered for a family of 7 (we ordered the #2, 3, and 10). The food was tastee indeed! The staff was friendly and the combination of sandwiches, hot dogs, ice cream (Mayfield), breakfast items, and coffees is a great idea. We only ate the sandwiches this time, but look forward to going back and trying their hotdogs and coffee too! (FYI, as of our visit, they no longer sell soup)

Making process is cool to watch, same time ice cream lack of flavor. It’s kind of bland taste in your mouth. Overall it worth the money and experience. Love the presentation of workers.

A new way to eat ice cream? Sure I'll do It! You Only Live Once....lol I told the cashier I had never rolled before and asked how the process worked? He told me I choose a Ice Cream flavor, mix in and a topping. At the end you end up with 6 huge rolls!!! I split mine with a co-worker. It's a fun new way to eat ice cream. Cost was $4.99 plus tax and you can add in extra toppings for .50cents.
Lakeysha B — Google review
The ice cream is not bad. It is an interesting process. But the staff was so rude. They made me and my girls feel very uncomfortable and seemed annoyed and resistant to answer the simplest questions. I don't often encounter people like this at small businesses in Alabama. I don't think I'll go here again in spite of it being the only rolled ice cream store in the mall.
Mariah R — Google review
We're simple so we tend to get the same thing for the most part but the ice cream is always so fresh and fulfilling. The taste plus the view while watching them make the ice cream is phenomenal.

Important: this review is for the bubble tea only. I didn't have any ice cream, so I can't speak to that. Yikes. I really wanted a Thai tea, and there aren't many places in Huntsville that do that on the fly -- I thought I'd try this place out! The price was about average: $4.60 for a large cup. Note that it wasn't their large size (their large comes in a cup that looks like a light bulb); I'm merely saying that it was a large cup of Thai tea compared to other serving sizes I've had. The service was friendly and helpful, no complaints there. But that Thai tea...whew. Had a weird, unappealing brown tint to it, rather than the typical pretty dark orange color. And it legitimately tasted like cereal milk. This just...wasn't it. It had no black tea flavor, and just wasn't good. I drank about 3 sips before pitching it. 2 stars because the service was nice and I don't know how the main attraction, the rolled ice cream, is. But when it comes to Thai tea, this place is a big no from me.
Bailey — Google review
Blueberry Rollo is my favorite with blueberry sauce, yum! My family and I have been coming here for a while and we love it! The blueberry bubble tea is good too. If you've never been, I highly recommend it. Always nice customer service.
Kendra S — Google review
This place specializes in rolled ice cream but also had a small boba tea menu. Don't get the boba tea. The boba is stale and can be hard to chew, the tea is overly sweet, and the flavor tastes artificial. I would come back to give their ice cream a try though, since that's their specialty. The staff also wasn't the best as the weren't serious about business at all

Sam & Greg's Pizzeria Gelateria in Huntsville has become a beloved fixture on the downtown courthouse square. The married couple behind this establishment, Greg and Sam Hathorn, transitioned from software development to crafting unique pizzas and gelatos. Their culinary focus is influenced by Sam's time abroad in Italy.
Incredible pizza place! The menu had something for each of us. Great place for meat-eaters and vegetarians alike to go out together! We enjoyed playing a round of mini golf while we waited for our food! Then we played again after we ate too! The decor is phenomenal. All of the metal tables and chairs outside are spray painted in fun colors and patterns. The front doors and windows are covered in local flyers to support other local businesses and activities. Inside the restaurant you're greeted with giant menus on the wall behind the register. The whole place has an industrial vibe to it. Every table has either vintage posters or pop culture incase in resin on top. The entire mini golf area is one giant mural of aliens and all of the paint glows under the blacklight. There are also local artists who come and sit down at the bar to draw!
Hannah C — Google review
We went in on a Tuesday around 5:30pm and it was pretty empty. Our pizzas came out in about 15 minutes. The pizza was good, but nothing that we are dying to come back and get anytime soon. I ordered the Key West and my husband ordered the Deluxe. For us, the veggies were not cooked long enough and still raw/crunchy. My Key West pizza was supposed to have chicken on it and I couldn’t find any. Maybe there was just so little of it that I couldn’t tell it was there. We did like the crust and the sauce. The crust wasn’t too thick or thin, it was right in between. It also had a nice crunch to it, but was still chewy. They have a small Putt-Putt setup upstairs which costs $3/person. This may be good for the little ones, but it’s a small area and tight, not making it great for adults imo. The atmosphere is kinda cool. They have lights with different colored bulbs in them, several were burned out though. They have several wrought iron outdoor tables and chairs for days with great weather. The indoor table tops have various different characters on them and some table have church pre type benches which weren’t very comfortable to me, so we moved to the table with chairs seating instead which was much better for my back. They have extremely large cans of tomatoes sitting each table which was kinda odd to us. I get it, it’s a pizza place and they were cans of tomatoes, but it still seemed to be an odd choice for decor. The employees were all pleasant. We have heard their gelato is fantastic, but we ate too much pizza and left no room for dessert. Maybe next time if we decide to go back.

What kind of place has a bar, and makes you get up and order everything at the register? Sat down at the bar for about 5 minutes, the guy next to us says I think you have to order at the register. Food might be great, I wouldn’t know because this is some kind of I’m too good to actually do the job of a restaurant employee place. Again, food might be great. I would not recommend this place for anyone that doesn’t want to order at a counter to have a restaurant experience.

We met today with our daughter for lunch. I was impressed with the architectural design. They have Gelato case with so many varieties but we were so full after eating that we didn’t have room to try it. We ordered pita and hummus as appetizer. The hummus was so smooth and delicious. We forgot to ask if the pita bread was homemade because it tasted like homemade. We decided to order 4, 1 of them no meat, 10” specialty pizzas. The pizzas came out in less then 15 minutes and they were perfect!!! The dough is not to thick but not too thin, crunchy in the outside and the flavors of each one of them delicious. Don’t expect to be served tho. You place the order in the counter and they’ll give you the plates, cutlery and drink glasses and you seat wherever you want and serve yourself. It was great and we will be going back.

The Yard Milkshake Bar, located in Town Madison, is gaining attention for its indulgent milkshakes served in mason jars. With 35 ice cream flavors and 50 toppings to choose from, customers can create their own extravagant treats. The milkshakes and sundaes are available in pint, quart, and half-gallon souvenir mason jars. Additionally, the bar offers gluten-free and vegan options.
We were first timers and we stated that, but weren’t really told how this place works. We shortly figured out that it’s a tad more expensive than your average ice cream parlor, but the portions are the size of a mason jar and you get to take the mason jar home. There is also a wash station inside for you to rinse your jar and head on home without the sticky mess traveling with you. We love how unique this place was and the ice cream was delicious! They also have a beautiful patio area to sit outside and enjoy the weather.
S B — Google review
My review is a couple weeks late, because well life is busy. My sister and niece came in from out of state for the week and we saw this place and just had to try it out. We went on a Thursday so it was not busy at all. Skylar and Lauren were by far the best employees, very patient with us as we kept switching back and forth on what we wanted, giving us samples, making us laugh and making the best milkshake experience. The music was great and we even sang a little ’yard karaoke’ with some of the songs. My daughter didn’t want a big milkshake so she picked out the Cookies N Worms and they were able to make it into an ice cream cone, only a select few of the specialty milkshakes can be made into cones. I did the Brookie Batter but they were out of the fudgy brownie sundae ice cream so I substituted for the white chocolate marshmallow and it was really good. My sister got the Peanut Butter Brownie Bliss and my niece got The Unicorn, they were all delicious and will be sure to put you in a sugar coma. They have sinks you can wash your cups in at the end as well, so you’re not taking a sticky mess home with you or if you chose not to get the souvenir cup you can leave them there. We also got cookie dough pops to take home which were also pretty good. If you don’t like milkshakes they have a ton of ice cream flavors to choose from, you can get a bowl or cone. It’s definitely not an every weekend type of thing but we’ll definitely go again.

Had a great experience here today. Took my husband and kids for a late Father's Day celebration. We ordered the salted caramel cheesecake specialty bowl and my kids each got a few scoops of ice cream. We came as they opened so we were the only ones there. The ladies at the counter were friendly and patient with us as we decided. Our orders came right out but again we were the only ones there. Lovely patio area outside but it was too hot so we ate inside. Definitely a fun place to bring friends, family, and visitors for a unique treat.

Love it here! Super cute place, every time I’ve been it’s great customer service and the sweet treats are always spectacular!
Abbi F — Google review
Absolutely disappointed. I’ve been looking forward to coming here for a while, and it ended up borderline ruining my day. The vegan ice cream itself is just okay— and that’s putting it nicely. It clearly doesn’t get used very often because it was freezer burnt and had chunks of ice in it. I’ve literally gotten better dairy free ice cream at the grocery store. Not worth the price in my opinion either, but that’s not why I’m leaving a 1-star review. My rating is because they do not do honorable business. I came in specifically to use a gift card, only to be told they “changed point of sale systems” and would not honor it and personally I think that’s unacceptable. If you sell a gift card, you should stand by it, period. Do better!!
Kirsten B — Google review
This place is awesome. I would suggest you try the ice cream flight. You get four flavors of your choosing in a small cup and it's still a to of ice cream. KB, the manager, is super solid. She's sweet and outgoing and will not steer you wrong. We will definitely be returning.

Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard is a popular chain known for its delightful range of cold treats. While their name suggests a focus on Italian ice and frozen custard, they offer much more. Visitors can enjoy gelati, Blendini, and Misto Shake that combine these delicacies in various ways. The menu boasts an array of flavors to explore at their locations, such as the one in Madison. Families can take advantage of the Family Gelati Deal during warmer weather.
Rita’s is a great spot for an after dinner dessert! Fast and friendly service. You can sample the different flavors before committing to one. The custard and gelati are both awesome! I definitely recommend one of the two over getting the Italian ice by itself. They even have outdoor seating with umbrellas! They also accept ApplePay

We enjoy the custard and ice, but the customer service seems to be poor here. We have visited this location twice in three days, and both times the employees acted like they were annoyed by our coming into the store. We always try to be kind to service workers by greeting them when we come in. These ladies just stared at us until we made our order, then checked us out without even saying “You’re welcome” when we thanked them. However, despite their rudeness, they make sure to ask for a tip before you leave!

We actually got Rita’s from the Athens last night from their truck. The young men that served us were very polite and paid attention to detail. Although there were not a lot of flavors to choose from (it’s a van to it’s small) the items were got were delicious! I ordered a small chocolate custard and my husband ordered a cherry Italian ice. Both we’re amazing and hit the spot! Highly recommend and we will be going again.

We’ve been waiting for this place to open and it did not disappoint. The employees were really really friendly. The line was long but it moved quickly. The owner served me and let me sample as much as I wanted to. He said the Banana Pudding flavor was his wife’s specialty!

Delicious treat, very refreshing. It has the most unique texture to any flavored ice dessert I've ever had. The Gelati version is my favorite. All the flavors are delightful so far that I've tried except tropical fusion which wasn't our thing. Cotton candy, green apple, and the coconut cream have become fast favorites.

MADISON AL LOCATION: I wish I could give this place negative stars. I got a concrete and it right as well had been a cup of milk.my husband picked the family a treat for a cheat day and this was everything but. There was a black lady and s foreign lady that obviously did not want to be working at this establishment so hence poor customer service was provided. Then they were out of multiple flavors and ingredients. The chocolate chips had a funny after taste and so did the strawberries. At this point im just praying we don't get sick I will be calling corporate as well bc this place should not be in business

Visitors can indulge in a variety of goodies to take home or savor a luxurious hot cocoa during the winter months. The cozy atmosphere adds to the charm of this confectionery destination.
What an adorable place to enjoy the most flavor-FULL confections in Huntsville if not the world?!!! There are no words to describe the burst of culinary extravagance that plays upon the tongue. Y'all got to give them a whirl. It's true that they are a bit expensive but it is all worth it... And give them 5 stars plus a like on my review to help me. Thank you and enjoy🥰
James N — Google review
The absolute best espresso martini you will ever have. A Huntsville staple with national recognition, Pizzelle’s is a must see for both locals and tourists. Handcrafted chocolate and cocktails, something here for everybody. Conveniently in the campus 805 area. Down the street from Stocehouse. Not far from I-565 and the parkway.
Andrew R — Google review
It was my first time here today and it was completely worth it. All the raving reviews are correct. Each confection is incredible. We did a tour and sampled their homemade marshmallow fluff and European buttercream. This place will knock your socks off. And the staff is exceptionally nice. When you see the work they put into their handmade chocolates and cakes… just trust me… you’ll understand everything about the place. Go get you a few chocolates, a little cake, a s’more. I brought home a bag of them.
Sheila J — Google review
Pizzelles is chocolate like you've never tasted before. Each piece is a beautifully crafted work of art with bold, unexpected flavors that surprise and delight. These aren't your typical chocolates—they're one-of-a-kind creations made with care, curiosity, and serious skill. If you're looking for something truly unique, Pizzelles delivers.
Kaitlynne H — Google review
Whether you’re looking for high end, handcrafted chocolates that you can’t find anywhere else, with decadent and creative fillings to give as a gift or looking for an indulgent treat for yourself, this is the place for you. The sisters who own this shop have a passion for chocolate that shows in their creations. From their individual chocolate masterpieces to their luxurious hot chocolate, every single item here is utterly masterful and an absolute delight. I’ve been going to Pizzelles Chocolates for 11 years now and in all that time not only have I never seen the quality ever decrease but I continue to be amazed by the quality, flavor and creativity of their amazing creations. My personal favourites are the hot chocolate with lavender marshmallows, the seventh street truffle and their bourbon caramels, but I highly recommend trying absolutely everything to try to find your own favourite! This shop is my absolutely favourite place in Huntsville and I recommend it to absolutely everyone. I’m constantly amazed when I mention it to people and they haven’t heard of it! It’s Huntsville’s best kept secret that needs to get out!
Jennifer D — Google review
This place is amazing!! The atmosphere, the service, the chocolate❤️. I got the Day-o which was their tribute to Beetlejuice. It was so good. Yes, the price is a little high BUT if you are familiar with high quality chocolates AND you can appreciate the expertise it takes to not only create these confection but the exquisite decorations on them, it is worth every penny. All of the chocolates are shiny (means they know how to properly temper chocolate) and the attention to detail is top notch.
Adena F — Google review
Apparently this place is rated the #1 chocolate shop in the US according to one news article. Of course we had to try a few pieces of chocolate from here. The chocolate is an art here. The flavors are super unique and something you can’t find in many other shops. The intriguing colors, textures and designs make eating them feel incredibly wrong. However what they don’t mention in the article is the price of their chocolates. We spent $15 for 4 beautiful, tiny, chocolate art pieces. My personal favorite was the steel magnolia and the goodbye earl. Delicious high quality chocolates at a steep price. You’re buying edible art.
Aliza B — Google review
If you are a connoisseur of fine candy then this is the place. It's not just the extraordinary flavor of these chocolates, it's also the designs and decorations on each piece. You almost don't want to eat it because they are so attractively done, but of course you will.

Great Cobbler/ Fantastic customer service: Our Experience was a 10/10. I had the cinnamon peach praline , my husband had the strawberry peach cobbler. Met the owner of the store & He is amazing! My husband and i couldn’t stop talking about him. This is definitely a place i would spend all my husbands money at lol. Jk but thanks so much Mr. Heath and to your entire store team. It was a pleasure visiting for our first time and we’ll be back to this location for sure. 🤩

Whether you’re a local or just passing through, the Peach Cobbler Factory is a must-visit for dessert lovers.⬤
Harry — Google review
The store employee was very pleasant and helpful. He gets 5 stars. However, I was not impressed in the least. Items appear overpriced for the quantity of amounts served. I like that I was given the option to have my ice cream separate from the hot cobbler... but the ice cream serving was rather small. Cobbler tasted great, ..hot was kind of too sweet... but that was ok. I just think there needs to be a better way to serve the items so guests can enjoy the delicacies in a better way than the tiny little cups the items are stuffed in. The location was clean. The restroom was clean. Parking was ample. Overall... the price and quantity would be my reason for not making it back, but I do think I might be back to try other cobbler flavors.
Shawna L — Google review
I really enjoyed my experience at the peach cobbler factory. Number one it was super clean, quiet, and calm. I love that! Their menu is kind of overwhelming due to the number of items but I settled on the Dessert Flights for $16. I got 3 cobblers and 1 pudding, the ones I picked out were the Strawberry Peach Cobbler, Honey Apple Cobbler, Cherry Swirl Pudding and Regular Peach Cobbler. My flight tray came with ice cream which elevated the flavors. The one that came out on top was the Strawberry Peach Cobbler. I will be back! Thank you to the staff and the store it was great.

If I could leave ZERO STARS I would……Having recently visited The Peach Cobbler Factory in Burlington NC & being extremely satisfied with sweet potato casserole, the blackberry & strawberry casserole….i was overjoyed to find out that we had a store in Huntsville. My son & I visited the location on May 16th…I ordered the sweet potato & strawberry casserole. Both were cold & the dough for the strawberry casserole was not cooked…..I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN. IT WAS HORRIBLE. MANAGEMENT SHOULD SEND THEIR PEOPLE TO NC FOR TRAINING…..

Went on a Tuesday around noon and it wasn’t busy. The lady explained the menu and helped us understand the menu! This place is worth trying at least once. The prices match everywhere else, it’s 2023 so don’t be surprised by prices folks, at least the coffee is cheaper than most places! We got the peach cobbler and a stuffed vanilla apple cinnamon bun. It’s very sweet!

So I wasn’t even expecting to end up here but me & my friend went to teriyaki madness next door & decided we wanted to try some peach cobbler we go in & we’re greeted by the cashier super sweet she instantly gets up & takes our orders & very patient at that .. they have a good variety of stuff and I seen they had banana pudding which is my favorite so I was debating between red velvet & Oreo & I decided to go with Oreo which was $8 and I got a scoop of ice cream with it which was $2 & I then I also got a strawberry tea which was $4 so about $15 in all & they portions were ridiculously small but I was trying not to complain because I do know prices everywhere have gone up but the portions are veryyyyy small for the price so I get to finally try my pudding and it tasted like it was straight out of the box , I’m not bashing the company I’m sure they really tried but nothing about that was homemade it tasted like instant banana pudding and the cookie wafers were hard it just wasn’t worth it I honestly wouldn’t recommend just save yourself the hassle & money

Golden Years Ice Cream Parlor and Diner offers a delightful experience with its amazing banana split and other ice cream treats. The retro decorations and nostalgic 50s decor create an incredible atmosphere, allowing visitors to step back in time. In addition to the storefront, the establishment also operates a food truck that can be found at various Huntsville events and festivals. The food truck serves deli sandwiches, hot dogs with different fixings, as well as ice cream and milkshakes.
It's such a wonderful little ice cream spot! They even have little handheld retro games on each table to play while you eat! My ice cream was so good I ate the whole thing and I almost never finish my ice cream! My 5-year-old thought this place was so cool, she wants to come back asap!
Alexis F — Google review
I went here once before and tried their ice cream, which was good. Wanted to try their hot dogs, specifically the Southern Dog. So I went at 7 PM Sunday and they would not serve me because they had already closed the kitchen, 30 minutes early. This was after visiting at 1:45 PM and finding that they don't open until 2. As limited as their hours are, it seems to me that they would serve customers for the entire time they are supposedly open. From comments by employees, it sounds like their food trucks have priority over the restaurant.
Tracy U — Google review
I got a scoop of cookies and cream ice cream from their food truck and it was really good. You can't go wrong with cookies and cream. Friendly service as well!
P G — Google review
They were very good up until about the last year. They are always out of several ice cream flavors anytime that you go and the lack of offering has progressively gotten worse over the last year or so.
Joshuah G — Google review
Order Ruben hotdog, no pork or bbq sauce. Got a hotdog added bacon but they didn't tell me out of bacon until charged and noticed there wasn't any. The ice cream is the only reason for 2 stars. 30min wait for a hot dog and a grilled cheese?

This is technically a review for Golden Years' food truck, as I haven't had the chance to make it out to their storefront. The truck came to a neighborhood near me a few weeks ago, so I thought I'd try it out that way! Their truck has a pretty good set of offerings: deli sandwiches and lots of hot dogs with different fixings. They also serve ice cream and milkshakes from the truck, which is kind of unusual! Their hot dogs are quarter pound and all beef. I'm boring when it comes to my hot dogs, so I asked for only ketchup. My meal came with some ruffles potato chips, some onion dip (which was delish and a fun addition!), and a bottled drink. A good deal for only about 8 bucks! The folks working the truck were friendly and polite and understanding when I had a mild credit card malfunction. My food came out in a pretty reasonable amount of time. I also got a small cup of cookies and cream ice cream. Overall, I was pleased with my food. The hot dog was HUGE; I couldn't eat it all. I thought it was a little bit big for the bun, but I enjoyed that it was all beef. The ice cream tasted like standard Blue Bell or something -- no complaints there. Yummy, not mind blowing, but definitely an enjoyable treat on a hot day.

I ordered a Red Velvet Cake, it was moist and the cream cheese icing was spot on. It was tasty with that down home southern flare. I also purchased the chocolate peanut clusters and they were delicious. Check out JJ’s treats, it’s a delight, they also sell barbecue next door JJ’s bbq.

This place has been here for years and makes very delicious deserts from cakes pies, cookies, and snow cones. If you want any of her delicious treats for holidays you will need to call early as she stays booked for those occasions. She also sells slices of pies and cakes. The owner also owns a BBQ restaurant next door which also serves good food. The bakery and restaurant are on bass circle right off Washington Street. It's kinda easy to miss if your not looking. I highly recommend coming here. It's easily the best local bakery in Huntsville.

I found this restaurant searching for dessert options in the area and I came across this hidden jewel. Customer service was superb. Her dessert and food options were amazing. The food was perfectly seasoned and not overwhelming. The price was very reasonable. The outward appearance was appealing and the inside appearance even more appealing. She was cleaning as she moved throughout the establishment. She was working alone, so service took a little longer and I had time. I went late in the evening. I will most definitely be returning and supporting this business. No disappointment. My husband and I were well pleased.😁

Located right next to JJ's BBQ, the setup of the two buildings is quite nice. It was very clean and we received great service. Friendly staff and great ice cream. The ice cream is rolled with mix-ins and includes toppings. The portion size is great for the price and very filling. I recommend the chocolate/oreo combo.

Interesting take on handrolled ice cream. Good location on south memorial parkway just past Weatherly Dr. Wide choice of flavors and toppings, and some food selections offered. They also have boba tea…never tried it, but it looks amazing too!

Charming new dessert experience in the heart of Madison! Our family enjoyed the variety of desserts and ice creams available! The decor is fun and relaxed. Giving grace because it is still in a soft opening phase! Everyone was very nice and the place is cute. My daughter had peach ice cream and it was good. I got the shirley temple. This place is a vibe. This isn’t a regular dessert place, they actually put effort and love into your order. Please patronize. This will easily become the next “Ralphs,” if you’re from the New York you’ll understand. Not saying this is anything like Italian ice, more on the lines of people will line up outside to get into ChillaBay just like they do at Ralphs. This is a local staple in Madison and I’ll take the drive down from Providence to patronize because it’s really good. Ingredients are dense and it tastes like something straight out of a cartoon. For all my PBS kids out there think of Arthur and the Sugarbowl. Take your kids here, take your grandma here, get yourself something good.
Joshua K — Google review
Visited summer 2023 This place has lots of ice cream desserts, and they all look delicious. They have tons of mix-ins, and can make pretty much any combination that you want. There's plenty of parking around. There's not much within walking distance, but there's a sidewalk that's great for a short walk while enjoying your treat. Would visiting again.
