Amazing desserts, coffee, and the kindest service. Amélie is one of the best dessert spots in Zagreb! It’s located right in the city center and offers a wide selection of cakes, cookies, and sweets. I had the lemon almond tart — absolutely perfect! Super moist, rich in flavor, not too sugary. A true 10/10. My friend tried a lilith raw cake, which was also amazing. The coffee was great, too! The best part was the lovely lady who helped me decide what to order — she was so kind and even gave me an extra chocolate cookie to try (which was stunning, by the way!). A must-visit for dessert lovers in Zagreb. I can’t wait to come back and try more!

Very beautiful and fancy pastry and coffee shop. It's located in the center of Zagreb, a few steps from the Zagreb Cathedral. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing, with a French-style setting- the earlier you come, the more selection you'll have and the fresher they will taste! They have rather long hours, so you won't want to miss out.

Amélie is a charming dessert shop where everything looks handmade and truly delicious. I tried the sweet gibanica, and it was fantastic. The ice cream portions are huge, and the flavors they offer are quite unique. Although the shop itself is small, there’s more seating available outside under the canopy. Highly recommended!

Wonderful cakes and coffee right in the middle of tourist Zagreb. Corner location is not too busy and service was excellent. They are quite happy for you to charge a laptop etc while you work with a coffee.

A true gem for pasteries and coffee lovers Korica is such a fantastic find! We had breakfast inside and tried a few delicious things. The morning pie with eggs was tasty, though a bit dry. The mini babka with chocolate was to die for — super rich in flavor and so huge we had to share it! My friend had a baguette with ham, which was nice as well. Huge recommendations from me — I had a hard time deciding what to try because everything looked so good!

I love that I came here when they were about to close and they still had lots of freshly baked options. I had a baklava that was SO good 🤩 and a cold brew that came in a can, which surprised me a bit, but it was actually good. the place is beautiful and the girl was really nice.

I was only in Zagreb for a short time but made sure to visit this bakery twice – that’s how good it is! The staff are kind, speak English, and the pastries are absolutely amazing. Yes, the prices are on the higher side, but they’re definitely worth it. Since the place is usually quite busy, I’d recommend going in the morning if you want to avoid the crowd. I also appreciated that they offer free water for everyone. And whatever you do, don’t miss the cinnamon bun!

Decided to try out a bakery for a quick breakfast and was not disappointed. The pastry I had was light and fluffy with delicious cream inside. They also make a nice caffe late. Very friendly service.

Very expensive for what you get (portion and taste-wise). There are many pastry shops in Zagreb where you can get equally good or even better cakes/pastries than here. Still, they are very tasty, fresh, and easy on the stomach. I have tried the Basque cheesecake and it was superb. I believe the prices are so high because of the location and not that many seats for customers.

Really really tasty eclair-like cakes. Made with the best ingredients and the best chocolate! You definitely need to try them but will you return..I don't know. Cakes ARE nice but they also ARE expensive. 27 kn for one cake is really expensive even if they are superbly made. You can get cakes almost as good in more than one place in Zagreb for a lower price. Definitely overpriced. So you'll probably take your date there and after that won't return.

From the busy and somewhat unattractive Branimirova Street, you can seek refuge in an oasis of peace, delightful delicacies, and very good coffee. Le Kolač has been at the top in quality and imagination of their cakes since its beginnings, and fortunately, they manage to maintain top quality. I wish them many more years of successful business.

First time in town, just three station by tram (11, 12) from main central Jelacicsquare. Coffee in shade and look to Petrova church est. 1770. baroq design. One more tram station to Kvaternikov square one of famos places you need to visit in Zagreb. Food open market bio products home made. If you like to walk just 15 min walking from Jelacic square by Vlaska street.

Being board by hotel breakfast (-;. We found this place just minute from the hotel and the only bad side is that they are closed on Sunday. The place is imacular with short menu of sweet and sayvory bites. Very modern place with indoor and outdoor seatting our of the main street. The staff was prompt and very thoughtfull to serve all at once. Today looking for different place to eat, but would return immediatelly back.

I was waging between 2 and 3 stars and gave 3 due to lovely and friendly service. You could justify asking 70€ for a small cake if you were growing the nuts in the garden just across, not by branding everything with 'bio'. Offering pastry that reference commercial and processed products cannot be excused for this price range. I tried two cakes: one themed almond/ caramel and the other lemon/ mint. The first had a nice blend of tastes but was too sweet and the latter had the citrus overshadow everything else, all accompanied with an ok espresso. Also, the serving size is sub-standard. An experience very far from the asking price, so this was my first and last visit.

I got the brownie and ice cream combo for €4 euro. I chose the rocky road brownie with peanut butter and jelly ice cream. It was delicious. Actual peanuts and a jam/ jelly-like topping. The size of the scoop was generous. Service was quick and the location is nice to people watch in the busy street. If you are after something sweet and filling then this place is for you. They have other brownie and ice cream options to mix and match which is nice.

Delicious dessert that I have only seen and tasted in this cafeteria - hot brownie with raspberries covered by a few scoops of peanut butter ice cream so that the ice cream is melting and cooling down the heated brownie! It’s delicious! You also can combine any brownie of choice with any type of ice cream. They have a variety of flavors! :))

Been seated for at least 30mins until some one finally take our order. Prior to this, walk to the counter to place my order but was told to sit down. Someone will take my order. The 2 staff in the photo couldn’t care less even when I kept waving at them. Even walked over to the counter again to remind them to take our order. We have enough time so we waited. I observed some customers shake their head and left after waiting to have their order taken. In the end, we ordered the fudge brownie and caffe latte. Just average food. Not worth waiting and enduring such sloppy service.

The cookies are very tasty, especially the chocolate one. The coffee is also very tasty. Reasonable prices, they accept credit card as a form of payment. I recommend it!

If you are a sweet/cake/brownie/ lover then YOU MUST try this place: they offer a wide variety of sweets and they are all super good. This is the perfect place to chill out and have a snack in the afternoon. I really liked the room with low lights and hanging "green clouds", it was very relaxing and restoring. They offer a I loved their blueberry cheese cake, very very nice.

Fabulous spot for some sweet treats and a cappuccino; they even have oat milk! The two gentlemen working were super helpful and kind. Delicious desserts too. Totally recommend. We even got cookies to go. We'll be going back tomorrow for their brownies.

I go there for peace and quiet. And for great cake, of course. They have such a relaxing ambient with shelves filled with magazines & books, interesting interior decor, easy music so you feel like in your own living room. Their cheesecake is their trademark, but I can never resist the brownie cake. You wont regret it. Yummy. Bonus, the funny cake plates.

Only real bagels in Zagreb (even served with lox) and the best cheesecake to be found in the city. Definitely recommend the strawberries and cream cake!

Unfortunately my review is not based on the actual food, I wish I had the opportunity to try for myself. We arrived may 30th on a holiday, their shop posted that they would be closing at 2100, we arrived at 2045. Upon entrance we were told something in Croatian, since we are Canadian tourists we politely asked again what was being said, since the person working muttered it under their breath. He eventually yelled out "CLOSED" at us, even tho the shop was to close in 15min. My partner and I were taken back by this and quickly bolted out of the shop. As a person who works in customer service, I can understand how someone's day can affect them. But we were not rude nor pushy, I would never treat a customer in the same regard, especially since there was no reason. He could've simply told us, "sorry we are closed," yet we were abruptly yelled at. This is not a good look for an establishment, and frankly we just wanted to get a piece of cake to go, which usually is understandable with 15min left of open time. But I was never given the chance to explain that. In all, I was still upset enough the next day to write a review.

I had a very disappointing visit to this café. The location is pretty but, there was no menu for drinks or cakes, making it difficult to know what was available. The selection was extremely limited, which was already frustrating, but the rude attitude of the staff made the experience even worse. To top it all off, I found a hair on my plate, which is completely unacceptable from a hygiene standpoint. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place, as both the service and cleanliness were seriously lacking.

The coffee is also great, but the glasses are a bit dirty.

As an everyday guest praise goes first to the staff which is welcoming, professional and kind. Even during the greatest rush they are responsive and positive in attitude. Coffee is excellent at normal price. Ledeni vjetar cake fabulous. Only recommendation is adding heaters outside during colder periods. Great choice whether you want to enjoy drinks, cakes or have a Zoom meet because the surrounding is rarely over crowded.

Nice place, one of the only cafes in Zagreb where you can sit in the sun on the afternoon and still find a place. Cappuccino is good and quite cheap with 2.10 €, not many tourists there.

Came here after reading reviews and hearing about its popularity whilst only serving the Croatian dish, strukli. I've had struklji before in Slovenia so I had some expectations of what it would be like, but they were slightly different. To try a variety, we as a two ordered the truffle flavour savoury strukli, blueberry flavoured sweet strukli, and also a deep fried one, together with a couple of drinks. The service was fairly good and the strukli came out steaming hot from the oven. My favourite turned out to be the truffle flavour, as I loved the delicious creaminess of it whilst having a subtle truffle taste. In this sense, I felt like the savoury strukli in Croatia was better than the one I had tried in Slovenia which were very different. However, for the sweet one, although the blueberry flavoured was tasty, it didn't beat the flavours at Moji Struklji Slovenije in Ljubljana. Still, the blueberry flavour was very delicious, and sweet in just the right amount. My least favourite was the deep fried one with cheese. It was still good but felt a little boring in its flavour and I struggled to finish it all. Although the dishes are good, it can get a bit heavy and monotonous so I would recommend sharing a few different flavours. Overall, I enjoyed my experience so I would definitely recommend it as something to try in Zagreb and I would go back there if I returned to the city.

This place is quite popular in Zagreb; our host recommended it for trying local food, and of course we visited as well. The atmosphere is very pleasant, though during the season you may have to wait in line if you want to sit outside in the garden, which is really beautiful. The classic Struk was delicious and I definitely recommend trying it. We also tasted the blueberry Struk, but we weren’t too impressed—though that’s completely a matter of taste. I’d recommend going and experiencing the local food for yourself. P.S. Be careful, it’s served very hot, so don’t burn your mouth 😀

Taste is pure and yummy. very glad to enjoy local food, perfect for a light lunch or desserts. we ordered red pepper flavor which is very well cooked and flavoured. blue berry is also nice but less surprising

This charming and enchanting restaurant is located on a short, narrow street that has seating areas from the different restaurants down the middle with narrow sidewalks beside. La Struk specializes in ‘strukli’ which is a dish unique to Zagreb. The menu is dedicated to a wonderful variety of versions of strukli which is “made from a hand-stretched dough – which must be so thin you should be able to read newspaper through it – and filled with fresh cottage cheese”. There are sweet and savoury versions, as well as a deep-fried version. While they only have one gluten-free version, a must for celiacs is that it is made separately. My wife thoroughly enjoyed hers, although both her and I found our meals to be quite filling – so go with an appetite! I chose the savoury pumpkin seed version which was enjoyable, although the pumpkin flavour could have been enhanced a little more. If I were to visit again I would choose the savoury truffle paste. One disappointing facet of this dedication to strukli, is that there were no salads or vegetables on the menu. We thought it would have been nice if we could have shared a strukli and a salad. Prices were very reasonable with all options below E10.

Warm and cozy atmosphere. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Top layer tastes like béchamel and the dough tastes like something you would find in a dessert. New and different combination for me, but I enjoyed it. I will have to try one of the sweet options next.

Stopped by La Štruk to try the iconic štrukli, and the flavor didn’t disappoint—rich, cheesy, and comforting. I ordered the roasted pepper version, though the pepper was pretty elusive on the palate. The staff were kind and welcoming, which definitely made the experience more enjoyable. At €9.50 a portion, it feels steep, especially considering how affordable good food usually is around Zagreb. I get the sense it's more of a spot tourists flock to than a local go-to, likely because of the price. Still, it’s worth trying if you’re keen to sample traditional Croatian fare in a cozy setting.

Nice Strukli. It was served fresh from the oven. We ordered salted cheese Gratinated Strukli €9 and truffle paste Gratinated strukli €9.50. Love the latter. There is the kuhani version, ie cooked. It is the rolled version.

Went for the acclaimed French toast but on the menu they have scratched through it - our waiter said the cooks said it took too much time but the waiters want them to bring it back because it was so popular. Very limited breakfast menu - also had granola and yoghurt which was better than the eggs pictured.

Was recommended this place, and I tried the Zagreb Breakfast. It was alright. Though I feel the ratio of things was a bit off. It was a lot of salad and bread and very little else. Still tasted good though. Service was alright, but they seemed confused, I put my order in with a waitress and three minutes later a waiter comes to take my order. And the table next to me got their order delivered twice. Someone forgot how to communicate haha. I'd come here again but probably go get something else than the Zagreb breakfast.

Very welcoming elegant, and yet homey type of restaurant near the main square in downtown Zagreb Croatia. The staff here at Otto and Frank is patient, kind and very friendly. I enjoy the egg on toast 😋, since I am Ketovore, I didn't eat the toast. They served coffee but like everywhere in many countries in Europe. They serve lukewarm coffee not hot coffee. You don't get free refills on anything you can order to drink except water. And the larger coffee cups are half the size of the average coffee cup you get in the United States. Half coffee and half warm milk is served everywhere. It doesn't difficult. To find any place that has a normal American size coffee cup. And it's difficult to get anybody to serve coffee steaming hot, which is the way. Coffee is supposed to be But that's the way it is throughout Europe. Lukeworn coffee, that's half coffee half milk. And no refills, unless you pay for each refill. That's my biggest complaint about being able to enjoy coffee while in Europe. But I would recommend Otto and Frank's restaurant to anybody who is visiting Zagreb Croatia.

Tasty breakfast with eggs in a city where egg breakfasts are difficult to find. Only a couple options but both great and both shareable (though we didn’t) if you are just into a light breakfast.

Absolutely delicious breakfast in Zagreb! I had the classic Zagreb breakfast with crispy poached eggs and my partner had two eggs over easy with spicy red peppers. Both meals were exceptional and kept us satisfied all morning!

On our second day in Zagreb, we went into this restaurant because it offered breakfast all day. We found the interior to be quirky and inviting. Although the menu was not huge, we each zoned in on an appealing choice. I chose the homemade granola with nuts, seeds, fruit and delicious yogurt. My husband had open faced toast with bacon, fried eggs, and creamy feta cheese. We each found our meal to be delicious and satisfying. We also took a homemade oatmeal cookie with fruit and nuts and chocolate as a shared afternoon treat. Quiet, friendly atmosphere with attentive service and yummy food.

Really dissapointed and a shame for a restaurant with this price. The place looks hold and they could renovate a little bit. The understandable thing is, how you could have nice products and destroy them like this? Every one can do better at home. The octopus salad (around 30E) is just octopus with patatoes. The veal is over cooked and this is shame. Same for the turbot fish. They not care about the products. Service is good. Wine is nice with good references.

We recently visited Le Bistro Esplanade, and unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. The service left much to be desired — the staff were not particularly friendly or attentive. At the start of our meal, our plates were removed immediately after we had just added oil, without any acknowledgment or apology. Throughout the evening, no explanations about the dishes were provided when they were served, leaving us to guess what we were eating. When it came to dessert, no recommendations were offered, which felt impersonal and lacking in hospitality. The ambiance was acceptable but clearly dated and in need of a refresh. While the food itself was of good quality, it wasn’t particularly memorable — certainly not enough to justify the price. Overall, it felt like the restaurant relies too heavily on its reputation rather than delivering an experience that matches the cost.

A house classic, Gratinated onion soup was a nourishing experience second to none, and a venison ossobuco was a bliss melting in mouth, together with hand made gnocchi. This is an exemplary cooking in my book. Just the right intensity, flavors and textures. And all in a somehow cosy and friendly environment despite beeing the quite prestigious place.

Local Chardonnay was burgundy style 🥂🥂 4 starters to sample, best onion soup I have ever tasted, beef tartar must have, fish carpaccio & foie gras also good, duck confit ok, veal cutlet average… pinot noir 🍷🍷 also local, nice.. Overall a very nice meal, must have in Zagred!

Didn't love it. The swordfish carpaccio was doused in hoisin sauce or oyster sauce so you couldn't taste the fish. The duck confit was very tough and didn't have a crispy skin at all. The struckli was interesting, but it was just too rich and ine-note for such a giant portion, it would be better as a sharing plate. Grasp does not equal reach.

Michelin starred so I expected a lot. Started with the the asparagus soup 9.50 Eur which was good but watery. I was expecting it to be a little more creamy. Then I had the scallops 32 Eur which was chopped. I think this is over priced. To finish I had the Pineapple Tart Tartin 8.50 Eur.

I had stayed at this hotel previously but never eaten at the restaurants other than breakfast. So we booked this for the four of us as I wanted to eat somewhere special for the family. I have to say it wasn't what I had expected. The food tasted great, there was no issue and no issue with service. However, it was typically smaller portions that you get in some fine dining restaurants but what surprised me most, two of us had steak and I know some people may think well done is barbaric but I did not expect the steak to be in two pieces. I have never had steak in two pieces and my cousin’s steak was the same. The schnitzel another family member had looked rather plain. The desert was nice but probably the best thing we had. Staff were pleasant and accommodating as we had a table in full sun and the waiter quickly dressed another table for us which was very kind.

Absolutely fantastic food! Definitely for the tourists- hidden further away and not visible from the main road, prices also indicate that. But nonetheless- delicious and beautiful food, great service and surroundings. Beware of the size of the portions! 🤭😅

Visited here for brunch having been in Zagreb only a few minutes. It wasn’t the easiest to find with some construction work taking place on the main road but once we found it we were greeted by a really friendly guy. The food portion size was good and the quality was good also, I just think it’s a little on the pricey side for what it was. It was a nice change and nice to go somewhere a little different. The eggs were a little under cooked for my liking but the ham and my wife’s salmon was nice.

We absolutely loved Eggspress in Zagreb! The cafe has such a lovely, welcoming vibe. It’s bright, cozy, and full of charm. We ordered the Scrambled Eggs and the Eggs Royale, and both were absolutely incredible, perfectly cooked, fresh, and full of flavour. The staff were so kind and friendly, and even went out of their way to give my husband a hand fan to match mine, which was such a sweet and thoughtful touch. It’s rare to find a place with both amazing food and genuinely lovely people, highly recommend! 💛

If you are an egg lover, this is your place! The location is a bit further from the town, but worth our efforts to come. Egg Benedict gave you 3 eggs, and you can top up various extra items. We tried the spicy yogurt which is not spicy but delicious. The scrambled eggs were more cooked ,not the soft kind if you wondered. The vibe is fantastic. They prepared blank paper and colorful pens for you to draw when you are waiting for the food! Beverage is more average though. Hot cocoa was too sweet for us.

Overall, a place above the standard — the food was delicious, lounge music playing in the background, cold drinks, good service, and a price that was completely reasonable. We ate and drank for €57 for four people. A young and trendy spot, definitely recommended.

This establishment left me with extremely negative impressions. From the moment you walk in, the dirt is evident: the floors are unclean, the tables are sticky, and there's dust and trash accumulating in the corners. It's clear that they haven't cleaned here in a long time. The staff is absolutely unprofessional and lazy. The waiters are rude and insolent, and it feels like they are doing you a favor by serving you. We had to remind them about our order several times, and even then, the food arrived cold and incorrect. Moreover, some waiters clearly don't care about hygiene — I noticed them touching food with bare hands and not washing their hands after using their phones. This is unacceptable for an establishment that respects its customers. Overall impression — a complete lack of care for visitors and cleanliness. I do not recommend this place to anyone if you don't want to ruin your evening and mood

Excellent cakes and great cake selection. I'm not really sure how they fare on the gluten-free and vegan friendly cakes but what they do have is just delicious! The staff is friendly and polite, everything is clean and the prices are around mid-range. If you need a lovely, relaxing time, with a cake or a warm beverage, this is the place to go.

I only have positive things to say about the cakes and coffee, but unfortunately the staff in this particular place always looks like they hate their job and do the bare minimum. I don't know if they need to be paid better or just find something else to do. I stopped going because the waiters create an uninviting atmosphere.

Overrated and expensive place with lousy selection of cakes. One out of three we ordered was actually tasty. However, the worst thing is zombie staff. Especially the waitress with the bangs. She less charming then my fart. And yup, no tip well deserved.

The terrace is open with ~8 tables. The pizzas are great, with Neapolitan style dough. The selection is vast, with the possibility to add something extra on the pizza if you like. Beer selection is also good, I recommend the draught beers. It's not a five-star experience because the service is slow and inaccurate (there is only one waiter for all the guests).

Great Napoli style pizza. Very delicious pizza crust. We ordered one with boar mortadela, and other one with cheese and panzetta. They were very tasty. I'd definitely come again, and will. Staff is professional, and polite. They gave us great recommendation. All in all, loved it and will come again.

Real napoletano dough, smell, texture, taste, all amazing. For my taste fior di latte a bit too neutral, but dash of pamesan does the trick. I have eat pizza all over the world. In USA, Spain, Portugal, Japan, Germany, France, UK, Iceland and even in place where pizza was born. Italy. In Sicily, too. Which is part of Italy, but you knew that. I will reveal you a secret. You know where I had my best pizza? Here. In Croatia. And just when you think you have try it all, you end up at restaurant which have name which associate you with some western USA movie. And doesn't have anything with pizza. Don't know why they went with that name, and that will remain mistery to me. Another mistery is pizza. Just delicious. Tremendous. The best! Whichever you choose. And there is no 20 or 30 some different versions. Just 15 of them, and you will not be mistaken. Just wonderful. I said to my friends: "We have to make pizza like this". We have so much to learn from our O'Hara's friends. I feel sorry for people who will come to Croatia and will not eat here. This place is best. Great home made pizza. The best pizza. I like the edges of pizza, too. It reminded me on walls. Big walls. Tasty walls. Delicious walls. You will love it. I love it. Why other places don't have pizza like this, I don't know. It's sad. Just sad. Now, to be fair - you know I am tough, but fair -I don't know why they don't have most popular croatian beers, like Karlovacko, Ozujsko, Zlatni pan, Staropramen etc. Maybe because pizza is delicius so beer must match up. That being said they have other beers. Homemade craft beers. Great beers. Refreshing beers. Which are also delicious, but could appear bit stingy for your wallet. You can ask for hot sauces, but be warned. Original hot sauce which is rated 4 stars out of 5 is a real hot bastard. A pure firely devil. I would rate it 6 out of 5. Be careful with this one. It can cause some serious burnings on your tongue. But it's local. Guy who made it end second on world competion of hottest sauces last year in USA. Location of O'Hara is a bit out of typical touristical radious movement, so expect only locals here. Which is great. I just love It. We all love It. You gonna love It, too.

Very tasty but a bit expensive. They have good ingridients that are not so usual for pizzas in Croatia (which is huge advantage to return again). Should redecorate interior a bit. Make sure you call and make reservation! Will be stopping by again but not so often because of the prices. They should invrease a portion a bit or reduce prices a bit. We paid 5 pizzas and 4 drinks almost 60 euros.

Pizza place with slowest possible service. After so many recomendation such a disappointment....pizza is decent but far from best Napolitana ever ... we waited for pizza 40 minutes ... so all in all if you are in neighborhood, hungry and have a lot of time it will be OK but just OK

O'hara's is the only pizzeria in Zagreb with “Verace Pizza Napoletana” certification. If you are not good at Italian, that translates to “true neapolitan pizza”, meaning they have to use only specified ingredients, with approved equipment (oven) and traditional pizza making methods. Just like pizza in Naples. To confirm this, and ate pizza in several places in Naples, and O’Hara indeed tastes like one that came straight from Italy. Must visit place for every pizza lover.

We had breakfast there, the food there was amazing but I did find the portions a bit small. The smoothies and coffee was nice. The staff was kind and friendly. Also, the cafe has a great sitting and ambience.

Delicious, fresh and the perfect size! I could cry. Pitaya and acai are big parts of my diet back home. Fruit in general is. I have been traveling across Europe with my husband on our honeymoon so I haven't had nearly my normal fruit intake and being able to indulge in a beautiful pitaya bowl here at Melt made my soul sing.

Beautiful brunch - we had the carrot humous toast and the avocado toast and both were excellent. The coffee and gelato was also really lovely. Definitely a great spot for a brunch or coffee in Zagreb.

The music was very loud, which made it harder for the waiter to hear our order, and I was served the wrong coffee (we also noticed that the waiters seemed to have trouble hearing orders at other tables). Overall, the food was enjoyable: the carrot toast was tasty, and the pancakes with strawberries were decent, although the strawberries were frozen, perhaps fresh seasonal fruits, like bananas, would work better. The overall atmosphere is pleasant, but the loud music made conversation difficult. I understand that music sets the mood, but perhaps it could be turned down slightly so that talking at the table is more comfortable.

The gelato is a must! All the other meals looked fabulous, but if you’re brave enough save all your caloric intake for a frozen taste sensation - you will not be disappointed.

This little pastry shop was on my radar for quite a while. I'm so happy I finally visited Meet Mia because it was delightful! The atmosphere is wonderful, very easy to talk, and the cakes we got were outstanding. They were a bit on the pricer side, but worth it in my opinion. I highly recommend this place!

this is a very conveniently located cafe at zagreb city center, very close to a parking garage. at our first night in zagreb, we wanted to take a walk across the center but it was very cold and late, only a few places were open. we got lucky by visiting here. it turned out to be a very nice refuge. we got a slice of pie which was delicious. also got some herb tea. the only staff member left at that hour was very kind.

Delicious food and wonderful desserts. We ate brunch here and finished out the day with James Bond and Queen Niki. A great place to gather with girlfriends or the special woman in your life.

Very nice, cozy cafe that is very busy and great for brunch. There is a variety of different high quality and tasty tarts and croissants, but also delicious savory dishes on the menu. The No Name tartlet was excellent and the raspberry vanilla croissant was to die for. The croissant was flaky, fluffy and very moist - not too sweet, just perfect. The prices were perfectly fine. I can definitely recommend going there.

Great, little place to stop and have some refreshments, coffee or dessert - or why not all? They certainly serve some really good and tasty desserts. The place is really cute and modern at the same time. They have a modern look on the inside and a flowery, chic one for the outside seating. The prices are really good for that part of the town, for the quality of the products and service. The staff is nice and hospitable; they speak English and are quick with a recommendation if you're not sure what to get. We had some cake and sandwiches and everything was exquisite. It's definitely a place that we'll be revisiting again when we'll be in Zagreb.

I was here before and was so surprised with the Crème Brûlée. The egg is silky smooth and rich with vanilla seed. The caramelised sugar can be better though. Their cheesecake is rich and smooth but not too sweet.

Best cappuccinos we found in Zagreb and the cheapest as they have happy hour from 8-10am. Interesting, not too touristy street. This place made us happy every morning.

Nice coffee place with wide selection of cakes and pastries as well as ice-creams. Always busy and you need to be patient to get a table. First come, first served. Outside area serving is not the most attentive so don't be afraid to order inside, otherwise you may not be lucky to taste what they offer and sweets are worth trying!

If you look for a delicious pancakes this place you can take into consideration. Why not 5/5, well I ordered dark pancake. My friends ordered normal white pancakes. When I tasted both I can say mine was a bit raw...you know that feeling when you eat something which is not fried like it should be. Well, this was case here. Didn't wanna complain to much, but you have been warned. Go with white pancake and everything should be OK. If I could choose I would rate this place 4.5, but we can only choose between 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 stars. Once I had breakfast here, it was wonderful. Atmosphere is relaxing, design of interior is great. Observe cookies attach to ceiling. They have outdoor terrace, so no need to sit inside if weather is nice and warm. You can thank me later. Btw. It's true what they're talking about this place lately. Pancakes here reflect their interior: pretty on the outside, empty within. They serve empty pancakes and molten "ice" cream, folded a couple of times, with a splatter of whatever you ordered on top, for 5€ apiece. Empty and dry. Don't bother ordering a filling and a topping, hoping you'll get a filled pancake, because they'll just put everything in a thin layer on top. The sad thing is, every time it's a lottery. One time they could be filled and lure you for the next time, the next time they're empty and dry like bread. I guess it depends on how the students filling them up are feeling that day. Customer care is abysmal, with them knowing about the bad reviews and not really caring, as long as they turn a profit. I won't name any, but google some other creperies and you won't be disappointed there :)

Delicious pancakes with so much toppings to choose from. I dare you not to exaggerate :) The interior is full of details and cakes on the ceiling are their signature interior move. Very cosy place. It was quite crowded when we got there but we didn't wait for too long. The only downside is the price, because it can get quite expensive if you go overboard with the toppings, but it was very well worth it :)

I used to really love this place and came here at least twice a week but then they changed the menu from casual lunch and finger food to some kind of overpriced fine dining which doesn’t match the vibe of this place at all. recently they brought back a few meals from the previous menu, which was mostly perfect so I ordered something I used to love before which is duck spring rolls and the super food salad with shrimps. The duck spring rolls came unrecognisable. I will provide in the pictures below how it looked before and how it looks now. Along with the much smaller portion size those spring rolls are the top five worst things I’ve ever tasted in my life from outside they are dry and from inside they are so tasteless. The best way to describe taste is if you bought them frozen on a gas station and then microwaved them at home. The salad was okay, I would previously I would previously rate it as a 10/10 but now it’s like 8/10 it’s just a slightly bit different

Great. A lovely place right next to the slopes leading up to the Upper Town of Zagreb — serves great food, and makes nice drinks. Served on a beautiful patio or sit inside, with the scrambled eggs I had being nicely soft and coming with a portion of cream cheese and some toasted bread. Service was great and friendly.

Excellent spot for cocktails. The menu has a selection of well-known cocktails from around the world and also some house-made ones. Nice indoor space with great outdoor seating as well. Highly recommended for a drink. Average drink price is about 50 Kuna per drink.

The coffee was bitter and nice, the pastry I chose was good but tiny bit too sweet/sugary for my liking. They seems to have some caramelised bits in both pasties in the picture. I like that they have non smoking area, but it gets full very quickly. Not to mention that people on the table behind us kept bumping into my chair. Bathroom is nice and clean, but there lots of stairs to get down.

Patisserie that deserves all the hype. The cakes taste as good as they look which is not an easy thing to achieve. We tried nina mia and batta and both were amazing. The interior is also very nicley designed.

Very nice place to sit and enjoy coffee,cake or sandwich.There is indoor and outdoor seating.Indoor has two parts,one of them is like an atrium.It often gets crowded during brunch.Sandwiches are tasty.Cakes look good but the tastes are the same for all of them.I recommend bun with either poppy seeds or walnut filling.It is delicious.

This place is famous for its Christmas decorative style and mulled wine. Wine is nicely seasoned- you can taste cinnamon very good and it’s very sweet. Some may find it “too strong” but to me it’s very tasty. Besides photogenic scenery during the Christmas time, the rest of the year I don’t see anything that it’s got to offer, besides again, Instagram-y pictures of your drink/s in Finjak. In conclusion it is nice, but nothing extraordinary. Music is OK, not my taste. Smoking inside is not allowed, but it is outside on the terrace. It would be good since it’s so nicely decorated outside, if the terrace was heated. Also, a plus is that they are dogs friendly.

Lovely ambient, I love coming back there every time I visit Zagreb. :) The only thing I miss is a bit more offering for those who can’t drink regular cow milk. Many cafes in Zagreb offer plant milk (almond, rice, oat) or at least lactose free milk. 😢 That would be great for those who want to order a cup of coffee with milk… :) Inlove their christmas spirit, you have to visit and see for yourself❤️

This place is very cozy but quite small. All it takes is maybe 5 or 6 people and it's packed. Definitely worth a visit but don't be surprised if you can't find a free table.

Great coffee with awesome collection of ice cream, cakes and pastries. Their premium cups are huge and can easily feed two people. Parking is a bit on the challenging side, but you can manage yourself with public parking in the vicinity.

Nice place for coffee or sweets even though there is much more nicer pastries in the city. Quiet place with wide terrace, no traffic, suitable for kids as well. Ice cream is good, not fantastic. They also have wine list. Perfect choice if you are visiting fair near by or you are in Novi Zagreb.

Vincek is a nice cafe, they have plenty of cakes, drinks and savoury with very afforfable price. Located in very comfortable area to spent and enjoy your holiday in Zagreb.

Nice icecream. They have some seatings but you have to order at the counter. They have many options of sweets but I haven’t tried any. Service was good. There was even a queue for ice cream at front door.

Total disappointment despite the nice reviews here. Interior was nice and unique, that's all the positive stuff. Negatives: Bartenders didn't care when we ordered 2 beers at the bar, just pointed to our table. We waited 10 minutes before leaving, the bartenders were washing mugs and preparing coffee despite everyone had some drinks on their tables. People smoke inside the pub and our table had mugs and glasses on it. Staff acted unprofessional, careless, looked depressed.

Well worth stopping by this bar/cafe, sit inside and be taken back to the days of travel by train. The cafe is a true replica of the famous orient express train. It feels like a tourist trap, but the pricing was reasonable, great service and visited by locals. The attention to detail and experience made it memorable.

Loving some tasty beers and good company with an amazing bartender! A must stop while exploring the streets of Zagreb. All the top shelf drinks are there as if you were part of an old time train car ride. Covered wood finishes for the feel of the real thing!

THE best, THE cleanest, THE nicest ... toilet 😁😁😁 of all the cafes I've been to so far, and not just in Zagreb. I have a theory - if a venue's toilet is well maintained, they're paying attention. The kitchen at Krokant looked pretty darn clean also (yes, I like to have a sneaky peak whenever possible) so ... Great for: morning / afternoon coffee and cake ... or tea, in my case. Non-smoking which really is a ... breath of fresh air 😉 in Zagreb. Pretty. Comfortable. Chilled. Wallet-friendly. Do pop in! 👍 (Oh, yes - they do free delivery on orders over 200kn and custom cakes)

Amazing place! Cozy, atmosferic, lush. Great service, decor, drinks and cake. Cakes were smooth, creamy. Reminded me of childhood cake I've eaten, so hints of homemade is there. Ample cake choices! Only minus is no menus, so you have to check for yourself inside what's on the offer. But menu is also on English, which is great for non-Croatian speakers. Will visit again!

Amazing cake at great price! I paid only 14 kn (1.7€) for a slice. Taste delicious and excellent quality. Friendly service too. Cons: They had 13-14 different cakes, making decision extremely difficult!

Cakes are really tasty, can not say anything against tase...but prices. This is just one many examples where prices has been raised "due to convertion of EUR". Almost EUR 3 for slice of cake.... like I said, it 's tasty...but not that much.
