A nice bar by the lake, you can enjoy the view and sun. The terrace is covered (see photo) from the sun. Very busy and crowded, you will probably have to wait for a seat. Unfortunately, very slow service. There are only two waiters for the whole terrace.

Restaurant
The Garden Brewery is a popular destination for craft beer enthusiasts, located in a renovated warehouse space in Zagreb's industrial east area. The venue offers ample seating and a spacious garden with picnic tables, making it an ideal spot to savor a cold IPA on sunny days. As a prominent figure in Zagreb's burgeoning craft beer scene, The Garden Brewery also serves as a sought-after late-night establishment, drawing international DJs and local talent for lively parties.
Came here whilst on a weekend break for a family birthday - absolutely fantastic guided tour of the brewery and operation- the guide and master brewer Louis was really informative and enthusiastic. Then we had a few samples of the lager and IPA - get ready they are strong! Ranging between 3% & 10%, it’s got something for everyone. As a bonus, the food was amazing too! Highly recommended trip out if you are interested in this type of thing.
Russell H — Google review
Loved it here. The staff were very friendly and the beer was excellent. They had 4-5 sours on tap, and sometimes it’s hard to find sours. It had rained the day before we came so the patio was pretty wet. They had nice covered patios for people to sit under outside and there was ample seating inside. I liked the airstream outside—cute touch. There is food to eat there, submarine and another restaurant.
Hannah O — Google review
Very friendly staff. Good selection of beers, both on tap and in cans — including their own craft brews. We took a few cans to go — the beer was excellent: affogato stout, mango IPA, and more. Spacious terrace and parking.Good music. Thank you for the present and the 25% off for take away beer! Highly recommend! ☺️
Simona T — Google review
In my last few holidays in Croatia I fell in love with this company and it‘s beers. So a visit to the actual brewery was a no brainer as I was in Zagreb for a few days. The ambience and the beer was astounding. Tried a lot of new ones and returned to my all time favorite beer „Uvala“. Staff was nice aswell! Recommend to everyone that likes damn good beer.
Anthony — Google review
Such a big variety of beers in a chill environment. It has a submarine inside so matches perfectly with the beers. The waitress and super helpful, kind and fun! It’s obvious that they enjoy their job.
Geraldine G — Google review
Exceptional sour beers and service with great ambience and plenty of seating to enjoy an evening. Also super convenient to have two food hall options on site to choose from. The smash burgers at Submarine were so tasty with thin patties and delicious melted cheese and the chicken and cheese fries at the other stall were superb.
Amanda H — Google review
A must for all beer lovers. Non-smoking!!! Very hard to find such a place in Zagreb. And you won’t stay hungry too, there are two small street food buffets offering tasty meals, even for vegans or vegetarians. And you can buy some beer home too.
Jozef J — Google review
I was there on a Saturday for the brewery tour, and it was well worth it! Conor led us through the brewery. He explained the brewery's processes in detail and with humor. After the tour, we enjoyed a tasting in the brewery's beautiful garden area. Conor worked overtime and stayed with our group for a few more beers, during which we chatted about everything and laughed a lot. In between, we got delicious burgers from Submarine, which is located right in the same building. Unfortunately, they didn't have the full selection of beers (on tap and in cans) at this time of year. Otherwise, it was an all-around great experience, and the tour, including the tasting for €20, plus a 20% discount on any subsequent consumption, was a very fair deal. The Garden Brewery is definitely high on my list if I return to Zagreb.

Pub
The Old Pharmacy in Zagreb, Croatia is a classic and cozy pub with a vintage charm. The interior is adorned with sepia photographs, vintage adverts, and dark wood decor. It offers a no-smoking section with leather armchairs for intimate conversations. This authentic pub is known for its focus on football matches, making it an ideal spot to enjoy big European nights. While not the cheapest option, the traditional atmosphere and quality Paulaner beers make it worth the visit.
Atmospheric pub. That’ll make them like this anymore. Very friendly bartender. Smoky but there are non-smoking areas. A couple of TVs for sports enthusiast.
C C — Google review
I had good Irish whiskey. Beautiful service and staff.
Jonney G — Google review
Cool decorations, the design really gives it an "worn-out" look, something that many pubs are desperately trying to achieve. Also, it is huge! Multiple different sections for different preferences - a shared zone is available, sitting next to a window too, and also a more private, chilled out 'lounge' in the back. We met some pretty colorful characters here too! (Recommedations for the rakija!)
M D — Google review
The live music was phenomenal and the whole atmosphere is amazing. The price is friendly. Highly recommend.
Norbi F — Google review
Nice bar, still smoking inside but also non smoking areas. Cheap beers!

Very bad experience last Saturday; impolite staff not giving you glasses with this promo wine in IKEA bottle! Had no idea what we drank, but the strong headache next day was there. Extremely nice interior of the place but...

Tvornica Kulture, located in Zagreb, is a popular club known for its vibrant atmosphere and live music events. By day, it operates as a cafe and transforms into a lively nightclub at night with three distinct rooms. The venue hosts an array of concerts featuring local bands and international artists several times a week. With its industrial-chic setting within an abandoned factory, Tvornica Kulture offers a unique experience for music enthusiasts.
An amazing experience. Plenty of space, bathrooms and AC. Performance was also great. The only issue is parking, but other then that yuh.
Jorkoas — Google review
The atmosphere and service were great and fast, enough toilets, everything went smoothly. But we attended a sold out concert, and it was really, really uncomfortable - too many people, it got extremely hot and difficult to breath (and I'm not talking about front rows, but even in the back and close to the bars).
Silvia M — Google review
I was here for a Blind Guardian concert. The concert was, of course, great. The venue itself is also nice. But for this event there were to many people, it was advertised as sold out, but I think it was above the rated capacity
Lucian B — Google review
Great performers and atmosphere, however I don't like the fact that the sitting benches were removed to make space for high tables - it makes the place unfriendly towards any person that does not enjoy vicinity of those who dance while pushing others and stomping on their feet. Besides, when the main hall is full, the air circulation is poor therefore I hope that next remodeling will include returning benches and installing better ventilation system.
Branka P — Google review
Really good small concert venue. Stepped floor so good visibility wherever you are and borderline usable toilets in an emergency but in good numbers so there is never a line in the men’s. Also good bar, fast to serve. No complaints really. Plenty of bike parking around.
Bruno Š — Google review
Very well organized venue I really enjoyed seeing opeth play a small sized venue

Great food at Sol & tapas bar. My personal bests fish tartar & pasticada gnocchi but I thinh everyone can find something for them selfs. Good thing is they have vege meni as an option as well 👌

Misleading marketing! 🚫🚫🚫 I ordered online and was supposed to get a discount for my cola and coffee. 1 euro less. I did everything as instructed on the website. However, I was charged full price. When asked waiter how is that possible he said " duck it " 🤷‍♂️😒 What kind of impolite and unprofessional service is this? I will not bankrupt for 1 euro, but the shame is on you and your bar now. Was it worth it?
Gozo B — Google review
The service was just absolutely terrible. The waiter was rude. We ordered drinks and were peacefully drinking them when one of the waiters approached us and rudely and aggressively told us to pay for the drinks even though we didn’t finish them. When we got the money ready he just disappeared and we had to wait for 15 minutes for him to go to the counter and take our payment. It is a shame and not a nice experience
Zhangir K — Google review
Nice designed location in the center of Zagreb. You can have also something to eat (the menu is not offering a lot, but the food is tasty). It has got a big terrace with a nice view over the square. Prices are not very low but I think they are worthy.
Diana Z — Google review
This place is Big and spacious has a nice terrace facing the main square, inside the upper floor is a restaurant dedicated for tapas and wine bar called Sol, you must reserve before to come in… the place gets busy and loud at night. Coffee is very good. Service was polite you can pay with card or cash. Toilets need attention were dirty
Ljubica B — Google review
I like the Johann Franck Café a lot, because I think it's very classy. Located right on the famous Ban Jelačić Square, it's the perfect spot for spending a little time, enjoy some food and drinks and watch the people walk by. We went there twice: One time we had some snacks during the day and the other time we enjoyed some cocktails. Everything was fine, and we liked the cocktails a lot. Only the staff seemed a bit inattentive.😉
Nadi W — Google review
Very rude female waitresses. They ignored me several times even though they saw me waive my hand to let them know I wanted to order until a male waiter saw me and came to take my order. I came in a sunny Sundy afternoon, and the place was packed full. I ordered flat white and sparkling water. The flat white was average. Nothing special.
Mohammad A — Google review
Beautiful garden overlooking the square in the city center. We waited 10 minutes for waiter to come to take the order. I even called one, but he didn't respond. They should go around the tables in the first row more offten and see who is coming and going. Payment is by cash or card. Caffee should renovate the toilet because it is really a shame for a bar like this to have such a toilet.

Solid pub which screens football matches. At 2am for the champions league semi final - there was a decent group all glued to the TV. Pints are reasonable at €4
Anchit K — Google review
Okay pub near the Cvjetni trg. We sat inside and it was an lovely atmosphere, but it was noisey alot to the point that you had to yell at. The prices shocked me because it was expensive. All in all, I recommend it to someone who loves livelier atmosphere and vintage decoration.
Marino P — Google review
Good place to sit in or outside to meet with friends. It’s got two levels inside. The drinks we had were good quality and the service could be a bit faster. The waiter was serving several areas so often we could see him. Other than that it’s a nice bar with good atmosphere and music. Would definitely recommend.
Vanja M — Google review
Cracking bar with a few good craft beers on tap and a few bottles as well. Great outside area with plenty of tables and chairs. Staff very friendly and helpful. They let us bring some food in from one of the fab pizza take away shops
David F — Google review
Great place to have a beer or other drink. The interior is done to remember you the inside space of a ship (nothing in relation with bar's name) whit a lot of wood and a vertical open space to the upper floor. They have installed on the ceiling 4 big ventilators which look as big ship propeller. Stylish without being expensive.

Great pub. Don't expect an "English" style pub although it has a proper pub vibe. Darts was on when I was there though. Good beer/service.

Oliver Twist is a well-established pub located in Zagreb, known for its great selection of world beers and friendly service. Housed in an old wooden building with a classic 'pub' interior featuring dark lacquered wood and brass, the pub offers a wide range of Croatian and international beers, cocktails, coffee, and various spirits. The large terrace/winter garden provides a charming outdoor space for patrons to enjoy.
A great sports pub in a very good spot in Zagreb. Service was quick and smooth. A little bit more expensive than other pubs around, but still worth it. Showed 2 different football games at once, which was really nice as well.
Arttu P — Google review
The Oliver Twist Pub in Zagreb is one of the many places on Ul. Ivana Tkalčića, which is the main street of Zagreb's nightlife. We sat on the terrace with a nice view of the street full of tourists for a break. The location is nice, it will most likely be nicer in the evening... the mise en place is simple and the service is good. The waiter also spoke English and we understood each other.
Edward V — Google review
We went to this bar because they have promotion 20% discount on draft beer. In the end they charged us full price and even lied that’s 500ml beer cost 6.20€. We paid 10.40€ for 2 beers… we even leaved tips and I checked later how much it’s actually cost because 6.20€ - 20% is not 5.20€ !!! It’s not about money, it’s at all but respects toward customers!!! They thought we are foreigners, but we lived in Zagreb and known to read Croatian !

Bar
Funk Club, located in the heart of Zagreb, has been a beloved hotspot for over two decades. By day, it appears as a quaint cafe-bar but transforms into a vibrant and lively club at night. The basement venue with its brick vaults exudes an old-Zagreb charm and sets the stage for top-notch entertainment. Renowned local DJs curate an eclectic mix of music from house to jazz to EDM, drawing in a diverse and dance-happy crowd throughout the week.
I was with my friends last weekend because we were visiting Zagreb and we repeated two days in a row because the waiters were very nice and there was very good vibes, if you want to have a beer on a terrace, go there because the prices are very good 👌🏻

Super dope bar! Hip hop vibe, cool bartender, fun atmosphere. Great drinks.
Amanda M — Google review
The basement is _awesome_ if you love dancing and (electro) funk music!!! There was enough space to dance freely, no broken glass on the floor or mess on the tables. I loved the music and got really deep into it <3 On the downside, it is not good for claustrophobia xD The ceiling is low, it feels dark, small and heavy air. For some reason, the crowd was almost exclusively male.
Alla G — Google review
Was there in the middle of the week so there wasn't any DJ but the playlist in the bar section was really nice ! Local beers, nice waitress, good localisation, would love to go again next time I'm in Zagreb !
Tvoric — Google review
Great place to go for your first stop, on for an all night party in Zagreb. The drinks are well priced, entry is completely free and the atmosphere is very relaxed. The basement (where the dj plays) can get extremely hot, but there are 3 floors total and an outside area to chill as well.

Boogaloo Club is a vibrant 1,500-capacity venue located in a former cinema in Zagreb. It offers an eclectic mix of DJ dance culture, live music, and alternative art experiences. The club hosts retro parties, electronic music nights, and live metal acts to cater to diverse musical tastes.
Super place... Enough room, enough bars, fine stage... I'm happy. The only downside is extremely short beer list..

A special shoutout to the bouncers, who handle their job with professionalism and respect, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. And above all, my deepest thanks to Shipe, who has given his heart and soul to keep this place alive despite the city’s attempts to shut down the only venue that plays proper music. Boogaloo is more than just a club—it’s a home for music lovers, and it deserves all the support it can get. One of Boogaloo’s standout features is its versatility – from legendary techno parties to alternative music events and live international acts, there’s always something exciting on the calendar. The staff is friendly, the crowd is diverse, and the drinks are reasonably priced, making it a fantastic spot for both locals and visitors. The location is also convenient, just a short distance from the city center, making it easily accessible. Whether you’re looking for an epic night out or a place to enjoy great music in a lively setting, Boogaloo Club is definitely worth checking out. Highly recommended!

Didn’t try the food but drink prices are reasonable, friendly service. The night I was in, the DJ was quite mediocre, didn’t enjoy too much, left after 2 hours. With other DJ probably I’d go again.

Cultural center
Močvara, also known as the Swamp, is a unique and alternative club space in Zagreb that offers a diverse range of cultural activities. Managed by the Kontejner organisation, this former factory turned gallery hosts film nights, exhibitions, rock concerts, symposiums, and new media art events with a focus on sound art and technology. The venue has welcomed international acts like the Buzzcocks and Mogwai as well as local talents.
Went there for the Silver Hoyem concert. They also provided some finger food while waiting for the concert. In general, there is a more "alternative" club comparing to the most clubs in Europe. I like the underground vives as well as the ACAB, and fully feminist vibes. All the experience there is just more than amazing! Cheap drinks as well. Last but bot least I would call it more like a "collectiva" than just a club. I was 2 times in Zagreb, both of them visited Mocvara. Definitely recommended for a visit!!!
Fani K — Google review
Everything is great, but please invest in air conditioning because during the concert it's almost impossible to be inside. This is why I often decide not to go to concerts and similar events. (I'm not the only one who thinks so)

I think it's one of the most important bars in Zagreb in the alternative scene, they always bring quality artists, the drinks are well priced and the atmosphere is pleasant.

Nice club with tasty food and a comfortable atmosphere. Amazing music and art. It wouldn’t be bad if the building would just get renovated since it’s a little bit run down. Since on Google it doesn’t say “dogs allowed”, they could be allowed inside and outside if they’re not right now.

A lot has changed in the last 15years since i last been there. Toilets and rest of the club is clean and nice, no risk of diseases like before. 🤣 But it was hot like hell, some ventilation would be nice. And your audio tech sucks, louder isnt always better. 😘

Nestled within an old industrial building, "Museum" Katran is a hidden gem that may be tricky to locate at first. This expansive club boasts multiple floors and rooms, each offering a unique musical experience—from mainstream hits to underground beats—creating an infectious energy among its diverse crowd. While it can get chilly in the winter months, the atmosphere quickly warms up as guests fill the space. The drinks are reasonably priced, with frequent happy hours and special promotions adding to the allure.

Great club atmosphere, also the music in all three dance floors was good. But the cocktails are pretty expensive for croatia prices🙃

Big hall for dance, fairly good music, moderately priced drinks. Yet did not give me the free drink as they advertised.

This have potential to be the best club in Croatia, but the surround system (speakers) are the one of the worst ever I heard in a club, you really have to improve this. Katran used to be my favourite club but now I don’t think I will come back here any time soon, it really hurts your ears
Mihovil V — Google review
Absolutely incredible, some of the best selections of songs and remixes at any club I’ve ever been to. You get a welcome shot at the door and the prices of drinks inside are very reasonable not to mention the serving qualities of liquor are more than generous.

Very cool club in an old industrial building, a little bit hard to find and cold in the winter, but as soon as the several floors and rooms fill up (it's huge!), the atmosphere heats up. Drinks are not expensive, while there are often happy hours and special offers. The security guards were once a little harsh, but the waiters are friendly and attentive, while DJs and photographers are always up for a good laugh. Different music genres (but no turbo-folk!) and a colorful crowd in addition to that makes it definitely one of Zagreb's best clubs to shake off stress and worries.

Great nightclub!!! 2, 3 or even 4 dancefloors (depends on number of guests and their program I guess) with different kind of music. Acceptable prices of drinks and great choice od music (there are no turbofolk music). Good party night is guaranteed.

WOW what an incredible club and last night in Croatia. My friends and I have just rounded out an off-season trip to this beautiful country including Dubrovnik, Hvar, and Split, and I can tell you with 100% confidence that this was our best clubbing experience. While there were two different rooms each playing great, more mainstream music on one floor, the real deal was when we paid 40kn extra (each) to get access to their top floor. This group called Namaz Events had transformed it into one of the most intimate and incredible b2b house sets I’ve ever attended. Lots of friendly locals and seriously some of the best DJing I’ve experienced. I can’t imagine what this place is like on-season.

Depo Klub is a popular spot in Zagreb's industrial area, known for its vibrant techno nights. Housed in a warehouse with a spacious concrete dancefloor, the club comes alive with colorful strobe lights that create an inviting atmosphere for dancing. Visitors praise the friendly staff and good security, as well as the ample space to dance and relax. It's considered by some as one of the best clubs in Europe for experiencing quality techno music.
This club is surely exceptional. The atmosphere is very vibrant, almost "electric", there is a great sense of community and inclusion. The floor is mostly made up of locals and international party goers. Even during peak-hours, the staff is quick and professional.

Wine bar
Pod Zidom Bistro has transformed from a wine bar to a top gastro-bistro, earning a spot in the 2019 Michelin Guide. Head chef Jurica Jantolek's innovative approach to traditional Croatian cuisine using local ingredients has garnered attention. The menu offers classic local dishes alongside modern bistro favorites like beef cheeks and white fish. Located in the Lower Town near historical landmarks, this restaurant is known for its fresh, colorful cuisine made with daily purchases from the nearby market.
An amazing experience in the heart of Zagreb. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The service was outstanding – friendly, attentive, and professional. The atmosphere is elegant yet cozy, perfect for a special dinner or enjoying local cuisine with a modern twist. Definitely one of the best restaurants in the city.
Susana M — Google review
I had high expectations going into this but was unfortunately so disappointed. I heard this place is Michelin recommended but I’m surprised that this is the case after experiencing it. Maybe it was an off day but here are a list of all the notable things that left a bad taste in my mouth: - The service was nearly non-existent. Once seated we had to ask for the menu, ask to order, waited an abnormally long time for our courses to come out and to get the check - I think the waiter spent more time flirting with the lady at the table next to us than paying attention to our table. She wrote him a long note on the placemat and he spent some time going to the coat area to put it in his coat? Very strange… - My glass was dirty and only noticed after my drink was poured into it, meaning that they tossed it and poured more from the bottle that we purchased (so it was wasted) - Initially I was given the incorrect wrong main dish. The correct one was relatively quick to come out, but we knew the other dishes were ready and getting cold - we were given “bread from the kitchen” which was actually an “optional” menu item. The bread was cold and the butter was okay, but if I had known it was extra cost I don’t think I would have ordered it. To be clear, this was given to us without having asked - when the check came, we were told multiple times that “service charge was not included” without an option to add anything when paying by card. This tactic felt like a “tourist trap” technique to take advantage of tipping culture and get it in cash? The food overall was okay but the service really ruined it for us. I wouldn’t come back which is sad because I was excited to try this place

Dining here was one of our best experiences throughout Croatia…everything came together, the food (compliments to the chef!!) the service from Alen and the excellent recommendations from our wine sommelier, Kiki. Kiki was able to perfectly match our food with wine and at the end of the meal shared a tasty wine aperitif which I thoroughly enjoyed! .Alen, our waiter, was great at bringing our dishes in a timely manner and was very thorough at describing each of our dishes! Thank you for making our dining experience so memorable!!

Amazing restaurant, we were in awe before the plates, the food was beyond spectacular. Every dish was packed full of subtle flavors, and each bite was a joy to the mouth. Truly one of the best restaurant I've ever had. The service was on par with the food, and Ian was there to help us with every if our need, explaining the contents of our plates or bringing us more bread. We were welcomed with top notch service and food for the affordable price of ≈40€ for main course and dessert. I truly recommend this place to anyone who has even a passing interest in quality food, as this is a wonderful experience that was a highlight of our stay in Zagreb. Merci beaucoup !

Hemingway Lounge Bar is a sophisticated and upscale cocktail bar located across from Croatia's National Theatre. It has a rich history as a gathering place for performers and continues to be popular for its cocktails and stunning views of the Hapsburg-yellow theatre at sunset. The bar exudes an opulent atmosphere with ornate trimmings and chandeliers, offering fruity cocktails, salads, and sandwiches. Additionally, it is part of a chain with two branches in Zagreb.

This place does not deserve even 1 star. The first time we had Disaronno sour, it was the the best cocktail that we ever had. The bartender is a guy who's a professional cocktail maker. He's the best! It started going downhill since that guy left. The waitress there now makes the worst cocktail and has absolutely the worst attitude. This cocktail literally tastes like orange juice now. Paid 50 Kunas for this disaster. Where is the cherry? It looks nothing like the picture any more. I bet they can't open this place for too long if they keep having these kind of people who with poor work ethic. Will never go there again!

What an absolutely fabulous experience in Zagreb! I am a self proclaimed Oenophile and so I could not pass up an opportunity to visit Bornstein Wine bar while in Zagreb. During my time in Croatia I really enjoyed learning about their unique wines, wine culture and processing. This experience was truly unique and the prices here are very affordable. We were taken care of by a woman named Doris who was so patient in answering all my questions and thorough in her explanations of the wines, history and regions. She went out of her way to make the experience special including making sure I got to try wines that I hadn't already tasted elsewhere. All the wine was paired with a wonderful cheese, olive and bread tray enhancing and elevating the wines. The atmosphere here is so cool, you feel like you are transported to a centuries old wine cellar including getting to see the oldest bottle of wine in Croatia! I would definitely frequent this place if I lived in Zagreb for unique glasses of rare wines, and even do the wine tasting multiple times due to the fact that Doris picked different wines to create a new experience. If you love wine and learning about wine, or just a good glass you can't get just anywhere I highly recommend going here.

We did the Croatian Tour wine tasting menu. This was great! The owner was very knowledgeable and we had a great time. The wine tasting came with a selection of cheeses which were all delectable, and a small bowl of bread with a Croatian olive oil. Would highly recommended for both people who know a little about wine and for the experts as the history of the wine was the main focus. A must-go if you’re in Zagreb.

Bar
Valhalla beer bar is a hidden gem tucked away in the upper reaches of Radiceva. Despite its heavy metal pub billing, it offers a mellow and unpretentious atmosphere that attracts a cosmopolitan crowd. The bar boasts about 200 craft beers to choose from, including Croatian brews from small breweries. While it doesn't serve food, patrons can enjoy a variety of lagers, pilsners, and IPAs on tap.
Probably the best-established beer bar in Zagreb. Now with outdoor seating at a pretty amazing and historical location just a minute away from Jelačić Square. Smoking is allowed, as per the Croatian bar culture, but the new outdoor seating, that's largely available throughout the day, now provides an option for non-smokers. The word "bar" is after all in the name of the place, and it's there with full meaning. This is not a brewpub, nor a taproom, nor a beer hall. It's a metal bar with a fantastic selection of beer. You can read the numerized beer table outside, or above the bar on the inside, and then tell the keepers the number and size you're going for. There's also a refrigerated selection of canned beer that can be bought as takeout. It's not the most courteous place in the world. The keepers have maintained a no-nonsense approach for a long time. It makes the atmosphere safe for everyone regardless of their identity, which is unfortunately not always the case in the country and the wider region.

The bar man is a grubby sod but hey, he has to stand on the wrong side of the beer and serve cold ones to tourists like us. I understand but it was funny watching him work his space. We had four excellent beers here, sat at the bar. I actually would recommend it. See if you can get him to smile
John T — Google review
The interior looks nicely decorated, service is very kind and there's a huge terrace behind. Although the place is dog friendly, it's also smoke friendly what doesn't impress me since it's a habit that belongs more to the past rather than 2025/26. It would be better if only e-cigarettes were allowed instead of regular ones since not only they smell less, but it's also newer technology. It's the same as driving a car with a carbureted engine versus that with fuel injection. Previously, there was a non-smoking establishment in it's place, but after it closed down, unfortunately this came. Music is also quite loud, but since it's a bar, it needs to be loud.
The E — Google review
This place pretends to be a rock and metal bar, however the music is so quiet you can't hear anything, just people talking. There is a wide choice of beers but I was given a dirty glass. The toilets smell very bad of urine and everywhere elses smells of smoke. The barman/owner also smells of body odour and is the rudest and most unhappy man i have seen working in any bar. There are many better bars in Zagreb.

Vintage Industrial Bar, situated in a renovated button factory, exudes a rock-and-roll vibe with its original concrete, exposed brick, and metal girders. Pantera — Google review
nice and fun place, during the summer all was ok but my rating drops down because of current situation - customers are begging for drinks because there are not enough waiters even though the place is barely half full. also, an arrogant aggressive security guard at the entrance (obese one with eyeglasses) leaves much to be desired and makes you feel unwelcome. on the bright side, cheers to joza and vinko ;) you guys are doing a great job considering the circumstances. p.s. removed another star for not accepting cards and again, for rude and aggressive guard, just left such bad impression.

Really cozy bar - cozy music, good service and good prices. 1 draft beer 18 kuna, and lots of different options. Hidden gem. A bit far away from center, but worth a walk. Smoking inside is aloud - be aware of this.

Great club under leadership of legendary hardrocker Pishta from legendary Hard Time band. Venue is in the centre of Zagreb, at halfway from old city ti new part across theriver Sava, in building of the national library.. Prices of drunk are not too high, beer is 3 eur. Mostly they have gigs of tribute, cover and rock bands, and crowed are from early 20s to 50 + (all ages of rock fans). DJ music is heavy and rock. Cover band AC/DC made super show , very cool and funny tribute band. Staff and security guys are professional and friendly. Seems that hard place is venue for unofficial end rocknroll party

The place has great selection of craft beers on tap and even more bottled. The atmosphere is laid back, and with alternative vibes. There are not many seating options but you can stand and mingle since there is large open floor and the place is buzzing with guests even on working nights. The venue also hosts a record store upstairs and a club doenstairs. Its worth visiting.

Interesting place near center of Zagreb. There is some selection of craft beer.

Place looks like you entered into 80's, nicely decorated with old chairs and tables. Minimalistical. Good for morning coffee. It's also a pet friendly bar. In level -1 there are concerts, so if you look for good place little bit out of city center and Main square check this place. Beer is around 15HRK (2€).
Hrvoje P — Google review
Nice music and atmosphere, simple but cozy interior, it's also dog-friendly and has a cool store upstairs. But the waitress was several times a little bit unfriendly and obviously not interested in having customers, because she never mentioned that there was also a second room downstairs. The third time we went there, we already wanted to leave again because no table was free and she just told us to look around for ourselves. Fortunately, another costumer assigned us to the stairs which lead to the basement, where there were several free tables and the owner apologized later for the misunderstanding.

One of my favourite places in Zagreb to drink coffee, grab some beer and enjoy good atmosphere that's always in the air when I come there. They have various types of events so you can attend dub party, punk night or hip hop concert at the same week. The best thing is that they have merchandise and record shop on the first floor. And pink toilet, really pink.

This punk music spirit, craft beer pub opened September 15th in the space of former cult Zagreb blues & rock bar Tituš. That's a pretty hard act to follow and it's been impressive to see PUNKS get off to a successful running start. The music & live gigs are great and the atmosphere is more reminiscent of a place which has been open much longer. The great rotating selection of local tap craft brews is excellent and highly welcome in this part of the neighborhood. Relatively low priced drinks in general and a very competitively priced Trs Graševina based gemišt. I'm very much looking forward to watch PUNKS bloom into the Upper Town gem it's well on it's way to becoming. Grab yourself a pale ale or gemišt, open a tin of čvarci and enjoy!

Best and darkest place in Zagreb to enjoy good rock gothic music in a relaxed friendly atmosphere.
