Very nice restaurant with good selection of steaks but also other dishes. You can choose also from wide variety of wines. Prices are a little bit higher but ok. Cigar lounge is available in a seperate room. Would recommend the place for dinner when you want to leave an impression.

I was looking forward to visit El Toro heard so many good things about this place. But in the end I was a bit disappointed. The food was actually pretty good, but nothing special. But the biggest thing for me was the waiter. He gave 5% effort, not interested at all. And he looked like a seasoned waiter. I was willing to spent much more money than I did, but his lack of interest totally ruined it for me. Also no music on the terrace was a bit strange.

We found this place on the map by accident and decided to have dinner there. We were greeted with a smile at the entrance, and we were lucky that someone had canceled their reservation, so we got a table (so if you’re set on eating here, make a reservation). Very friendly staff, very attentive waiters, and a great atmosphere. We went on a Saturday night, so there was even a DJ. As for the food, we ordered steak tartare, which came with fresh pita bread and aromatic butter, all prepared excellently. The meat was also perfectly done—highly recommended. You can choose your preferred side dish and add a sauce if you like. The sides are also very tasty. They also have an impressive wine list. The atmosphere, ambiance, and food quality are definitely reasons for us to come back again.

Had a blast dining at el toro with my friends on our last night in Zaghreb. We tried the chicken skewers, shrimp ceviche, the steak salad, as well as the steak and the grilled octopus and chicken tacos. My favorites were the stead salad and the chicken skewers.

The experience was amazing. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Max giving us exceptional recommendations. Food was cooked to perfection, I would really recommend the rib eye stake.

Vlado, who was absolutely amazing for our dinner service, made sure we understood everything and provided excellent service. The recommendations were very helpfull. As for the food I can not express how talented the chefs are. We had Tomahawk steak, cooked to perfection and the char added amazing flavour too. The star for us was the corn!!! We have agreed that the corn was exceptional and were so surprised we could not stop talking about it. And as we though we could not get even more surprised we ordered desert and that was a cherry on top. The best desert I had in my life, and that is no exagaration! It was better that my grandma's !!!! Definitely recommending this placw as it was 15/10 the venue, the atmosphere, the delicious food and one of the best waiter experiences too.

We had a fantastic dinner! Food was amazing, wine that personell proposed was great as well! We didn’t know it, but there was also a very nice and relaxing live music during dinnertime when we visited

We randomly chose Fidel Gastro because we were staying at a nearby hotel and we couldn’t be happier with the choice! The interior is very welcoming and the restaurant staff very attentive. The food was delicious with large portions. Shown are the cheese, nuts and honey appetizer, mixed salad with pumpkin, beet and goat cheese, fettuccine with olive oil and garlic, tataki tuna, and a chocolate and cherry dessert that was divine. The Crni Pinot wine recommended by the waitress was also delicious. We left very full and happy, definitely recommend :)

Great place. I celebrated my birthday there. Food was so delicious and creative. Staff professional and customer oriented. It could have been more people for Friday evening but nice and cossy... without wine prices are more appropriate...

The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the toilet facilities are clean and the ladies room has hair spray, hand lotion and tampons for emergencies which is always greatly appreciated. Pricewise, there are cheaper dishes and more expensive ones but it's possible to have a pleasant evening without breaking the bank. The service was excellent on all accounts, the server took the time and effort to explain every meal. All in all, a very pleasant experience and it's definitely worth visiting.

Amazing place, with a lot of spirit, interestingly decorated. Combination of foods and spices is very ingenious and above all very very tasty and delicious, my admiration for the chef. Staff is highly professional and very friendly.

We had read some good reviews on TripAdvisor so we decided to come here for dinner. Another reason was availability of veg food which is little difficult in Zagreb. we were not disappointed. It was a small place in a pedestrian lane which was full of bar and restaurants with lively ambience. We had veg curry with rice and deviled vegetables which was quite good. The tables and chairs could have been better. The service was fast and efficient...

Visited here on our first night based on previous reviews as we had booked an authentic meal for our second night and fancied something a little different. The menu is limited but still plenty to choose from. The mixed stater was fine but nothing special, however the slow cooked pork curry was very, very good. The service was not overly attentive and lacked interest.

Found this really cool place on a busy road in Zagreb with seating outside and a really good atmosphere. The have some nice vegan options. I Had a really good sri lanka stir fry made with vegetables and soya chunks in a blend of spices and a sauce. Served with rice and Pol sambol, which is a mix of spices and grated coconut.

It was our first time trying Srilankan cuisine and we loved it. The ingredients were fresh and the dishes were flavourful. Infact, the portions were large. I would definitely recommend the Kaha Bath, the turmeric rice. We tried Chicken curry, Pork curry and Fish curry, all three with Kaha rice and perfectly spiced to our taste. Prabhan(i hope it’s spelled correctly) was so polite and helpful, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He even gave us the special Srilankan curry powder. Can’t wait to try them in my dishes. Highly recommended for those who want a quality meal with very friendly folks!

The flavors of each dish are an exquisite combination of fresh ingredients. The concept of customizing the spice level is a brilliant idea that caters to all tastes. The fried rice with beef and mixer appetizer platter were so amazing, without a doubt, the culinary experience at this place is highly recommended. As a Malaysian being in Croatia for 11 days, I was already craving for spice. curry bowl had so many on their menu and even provides, spicy, level options, which is great. It had enough taste, and the spice was really effective🥵 Some of my friends think that they are ginger. Beer is a tattoo too sweet, but it’s OK for me. You may want to adjust the sugar level according to your preference.M Would strongly recommend. Not to mention that their Service was also super great and friendly.

We had a fantastic dining experience at Kai Street Food! The food was excellent — bursting with flavor and beautifully cooked. The fried chips were especially amazing, perfectly crispy and seasoned. We ordered both chicken and beef dishes with tapas, and everything was fresh and delicious. We also tried two drinks from the top of the menu — a lemonade and a red one (possibly hibiscus or berry-based?) — both were refreshing and complemented the meal well. The staff were okay, a bit rushed, likely due to how small and busy the place is. With only a few tables, it's hard to book, which is why we ended up having dinner as early as 5 PM. The indoor space is tight and noisy, and if you're not lucky, you might find yourself sitting very close to other guests. It's definitely more of a spot for food lovers than those seeking a cozy or intimate setting. Overall: Highly recommended for the top-notch quality of the food, not so much for the atmosphere.

Kai Street food has a fun vibe and lively atmosphere that’s popular with the locals – so it fills up quickly. They serve local craft beer on tap and offer a diverse menu. We ordered the tacos, bao buns, and chicken sandwich. Everything tasted excellent, but the chicken sandwich was our standout favourite. Arrive here early to make sure you get a seat!

Very good food spot! We tried the bao buns, the chicken sando and the pork tacos with a side of their sweet potato fries (they also have veggie options that looked promising). Totally recommend all of them. The meat is very fresh, so is the rest of the ingredients. The selection of drinks is great, I was surprised to find kombucha on the menu. The staff is also very nice, they seated us right away. The food arrived pretty quickly and we devoured it in 20 mins!! It’s fairly priced, all dishes are around 15€ which is pretty normal for a place like this. It is a good place for a quick bite although the interior looks very inviting and cozy. I would recommend to come here around 5 pm to avoid waiting time.

One of the best meals of my life. The food is unique, but more than that it is just an amazing experience from atmosphere to service to get to the food. High quality cooking for a fair price with excellent service and friendly staff. Somethings that specially caught my attention: - the imagination of the food element mixtures is genius - the waiter was very friendly and share anecdotes from his personal life and Croatia - plates, utensils and napkins were changed for every course The space is small and the music is loud. You have to be lucky to get a table. This is part of it. If you don't like it, don't go, but just know: ur missing out ;)

Small and cute place for a quick grab of food while walking in the center of Zagreb. Totally recommend it, good taste, fine atmosphere, friendly stuff, affordable prices. We ordered the pork tacos and the fried sweet potatoes, both great. Also, the wine and local beer impressed us. I'd visit it again!

Great Sushi Spot with Excellent Atmosphere Had a great experience at this sushi restaurant! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a perfect place to enjoy a meal. The sushi was fresh, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. A big plus is the huge underground parking lot right next to the restaurant, which makes finding a spot easy (though it's not free). The only minor downside was a small mistake in our order by the waiter, but it was quickly resolved and didn't take away from the overall great experience. Definitely a good place for sushi lovers, and I'll be coming back!

This place is mainly Asian fusion. We tried a variety of sushi plates and explored their cocktail menu, which offered many creative options. Overall, the food was okay to me—nothing particularly memorable but okay it was tasty- the cocktails stood out for their originality, we loved them. The location is central and convenient, there's no parking directly in front. However, there's a nearby garage, which makes access relatively easy. Service was fast. Place is kid friendly. There is a terrace outside to seat beside indoor seating.

We ordered Dream sushi plate (28pcs) and honestly they were super tasty! Staff is very professional, very pleasent and kind. Every recommendation!

Edit* 2025: Unfortunately, the sushi got worse and the service was also not as good as last time. The all you eat is now 29€ and you can see the difference between 2 years ago and now (5 pictures from 2023, 6 from 2025). The sushi was still tasty, but not as spectacular as last time. As for the service, we asked for a pitcher and just got a small glass of water which needed refilling constantly. It didn’t get constantly refilled as the server didn’t really check on our table too much (and we were thirsty). Last time the waitress explained everything on the all you can eat, but this time the waiter just put it on the table and left. After my 6th plate on all you can eat, the waiter didn’t check on our table for more than 40 minutes so we just got up and left. Felt dissapointed since the last time I was here it was perfect. Also we were denied seating upstairs with no explanation. 2023: One of the best sushi I've ever tasted, I might even say it's the best. If you like sushi and want to try something new, this is the place for you. All you can eat was 10/10 because I ate the whole 5 courses and each one was excellent. Prices are acceptable for sushi, and all you can eat is €26 (on Wednesdays and Sundays). They also have a large selection of cocktails. Inside, the space is nicely decorated, and the staff was friendly.

The food at Jellyfish In Space was absolutely delicious, with the sushi standing out as a real highlight (even for the non-sushi-eaters). We had such a lovely time, and a big part of that was thanks to our waiter Matej, who made us feel genuinely welcome and turned the evening into something special.

The atmosphere was very inviting and service great! We had ginger tea, the soup of the day, Red Dragon and sweet potato fries. The soup was delicious and if you're a fan of beetroot, the pasta (red dragon) is a tasty choice and not overly beety. For me, the fries were disappointing. Serving them in a bowl just didn't work. The ones on top were somewhat crispy, the bottom ones soggy and supper oily. And for the price of the tea, I was surprised to get a bag and not freshly made.

The food is great - organic (from a local farm owned by the same people as the restaurant and Bio Bio health food stores), vegan, macrobiotic, has gluten free options. It is my go to place in Zagreb! The service can be slow and the atmosphere is not buzzing but quiet with a simple, clean style. You should make an online reservation as lunch times can get full.

We had a fantastic lunch at Zrno Bio Bistro in Zagreb — the vegan cuisine exceeded our expectations! The portions are generously large, which we really appreciated, and the service was friendly, welcoming and attentive throughout our visit. We especially loved the “panirani tofu” — perfectly crisp on the outside, tender inside, and full of flavour — as well as the comforting miso soup, which made a great starter. Both are stand-out dishes for us. One tip: reservations are recommended. All in all, a lovely place for great vegan food, excellent service and a warm atmosphere. Will definitely return!

Zrno is the first 100% vegan restaurant in Zagreb, pioneer of eco, organic, and vegan cuisine in the city. Excellent choice, pleasant atmosphere. I recommend their classic – Seitan Cordon Bleu.

One of my favorite vegans meals in the world. Fresh ingredient prepared with flavor. I had the breaded tofu and it was a huge portion, served with wok died veg and fresh salad. Delicious!!! Organic and food comes from their local farm. Highly recommend. Staff are super nice.

Small restaurant with seating indoors as well as outdoors. The burgers were delicious! The sauce was good however, the BBQ flavour was very mild, so mild it didn't taste anything like BBQ. The bacon was perfectly crispy! The fries were a little disappointing. All the flavour came from the truffle sauce and the parmesan. The fries itself were soggy (not from the sauce) and didn't taste like they were salted at all. The waiter was nice enough. Wasn't attentive though. Didn't ask if everything was good, or ask if we wanted more drinks. But this seem to be a common theme in Zagreb though?

Great atmosphere, young vibes, and stylish design with an open kitchen. I appreciated that they had an English menu. However, the food was quite disappointing. The French burger had very thin meat, no cheese, and was overloaded with mayonnaise. The salad was also drenched in the same sauce, which was too fatty and lacked flavor—it would have been better without it.

We ordered the classic burger double and salchipapas. Enough for two. Both were superb. Great coffee too. Excellent sevice, free wifi, free toilets, and they recharged my cellphone that died. Highly recommended!!

Unfortunately our second time here and a bit disappointed the food wasn’t as tasty as 2 years ago and my son said the meat tasted fishy and it did. I feel sad as we were really looking forward to the meal and it just wasn’t up to scratch and don’t think we’ll be returning, sadly. The worst Indian food my family & myself have ever had! I don’t recommend it at all & a place to avoid in the future! A waste of time and money! My son never complains about his food but sadly he did about the food served here.

You are roaming Zagreb and the aroma of yumminess hits you. You have to have this food. You must. We were quickly seated. A friendly server suggested portions and what’s good (hint everything). We have been traveling for a bit and craving desi food. And boy are we glad we found this restaurant. We had samosas for appetizers. This was a big serving and tasted awesome. The butter chicken tasted excellent. The tikka fresh and served on a hot plate. Most importantly not with the red dye which is not common in the US. I loved the biryani, especially how it was cooked in a dough cover like it’s supposed to be. We really enjoyed our experience here. The staff from the host to the servers is friendly and made our experience special. Really loved the place and hope to be back.

Was hoping for a bit better experience here. On a Sunday evening 8.30 the restaurant was full and almost unbearably noisy - including families with children playing loud games on their phones and couriers entering and leaving all the time. I wish the restaurant would do something to limit the noise i.e. acoustics, asking people to limit the noise and better interior design. It was a very stressful evening. Had chicken tikka grill and butter chicken. Food portions are the smallest we have ever had in an Indian restaurant. The grill was good cooked well but did not taste of much compared to other Indian food. The butter chicken was well spiced but a little undercooked. Prices are only okay, considering that you have to add naan and rice to the main dish. The service was okay, not the often humble Indian service but also not rude. Would only eat here again if it is not so busy.

Really nice food! The lamb was really exquisite. The rice and garlic bread were great extras. The chicken tandoori was a bit dry for my taste but good. Shout out to the Indian Typical Lemonade which is sweet and salty at the same time. Perfect to wash the spicy out of the mouth

I went there back in September. Very delicous sandwiches and the girl at counter was helpful 10/10 recommend if you're in town and looking for a quick place to grab something to eat, then continue to explore the city.

Quick meal to grab on the way. Probably you can find something better for this price but this place works until very late hour so that can be a plus.

I tried the french and the original burgers. Very tasty, and juicy. The french sauce and cheese gives a distinguished smooth taste. I also enjoyed the soft buns. I tried the place's own beer. It is a lager beer with a sweet fruity after taste I would definitely recommend it. The fries themself are average, however the cheesy toppings were delicious. I would recommend the owner to improve the fries, to the Belgian authentic style for instance. In brief a very good burger, one if the best

Burgers were very nice, especially the vegan one. Truffle fries with shaved cheese were delicious! But staff was not very friendly, it seemed like we were bothering her with just being in the restaurant.

Incredible flavors at Submarine Burgers! I had the truffle Grana Padano homemade fries – absolutely addictive, I couldn’t stop eating them! The smash burger with smoked cheese was simple, yet so juicy and flavorful that it didn’t need any extra toppings. Just pure, delicious natural, organic, homemade quality. A must-try spot in Zagreb if you’re into gourmet burgers done right!

Wooooow! I'm just visiting Zagreb, and step by Submarine Burgers just by chance. What can I say...you surprised me :D omg what a delicious burger! I ordered the smashed burger and the cheese fries. Everything was soooo delicious, like I said I just enter the restaurant by chance...so I didn't knew you were working with local, organic and natural products... But when I tasted the food I can noticed... Comes to my mind...this is not an ordinary burger...taste as deep noble flavors...so I came back home to research about it and yes.... Nice work guys....the food is amazing!!!! I will never forget this burger! Also the fries with cheese and a kind of special sauce with pickles was incredible and looked homemade....yummy!!!! I just ate everything!!! Thank you so much for your effort and for doing these good quality burgers!!!!

All eight of our burgers were cooked to perfection with delicious extras. Fries were fresh, but could have been crispier. Staff was slight stressed, but friendly and helpful. Overall a very very good lunch.

We took the burger sliders and the classic burger + their burger beer. The sliders are a perfect option for those who are indecisive but I would highly recommend the classic or the Italian job burger. Their in-house beer is a must try!

We had dinner, it was amazing! Great food, the owner came out and recommended his dishes. We were blown away by the generosity of the owner and the quality of the food. We had the vegetarian gajbica fritters and the veggie balls, both are incredible choices. The staff were really nice and helpful. Heavily recommend it for both vegetarians and meat eaters. Great location and atmosphere as well.

This cafe was in the entrance to our apartment. Really friendly staff, bright & cheery atmosphere. We had fresh juices & wraps on the first visit with a side of hummus & their lovely own tapioca bread rolls. On our second visit I had the most delicious fenzi falafel salad - pictured. My son had the meat stew & really enjoyed it. Healthy, tasty, excellent value food served by lovely staff. Highly recommend.

Following other people’s reviews, I came here for brunch – and I’m impressed. I can honestly say I’ll definitely be coming back. Probably the best place in the city center for a healthy, affordable, and very tasty lunch. The lady who served us was outstanding – friendly, professional, and very attentive.

Owner came out to talk with us about the town, the restaurant, and the food. Freshest, best food we've had in town! My son is a vegetarian, so it can be hard to find restaurants with fresh, creative menus like this.

Although the food was good, it wasn’t worth waiting almost an hour for it. Apparently they were understaffed that day but this was not communicated to us nor to any of the other customers who repeatedly followed up their orders. We were kept waiting with no advice of the situation. It is unfortunate as this took away from a great first time dining experience we could’ve had especially at a highly rated local place. Hopefully they plan around having less staffs next time

The staff was nice and friendly. I wanted to have only smoothie after dinner and I was looking for some smoothie shops in the city. And here we go. I ordered a smoothie called "happy day" which contains orange, apple, pineapple...and lemon. It was good and refreshing.

I felt so lucky I found this place in the heart of Zagreb. The food was really tasty, the prices were good and the service was so, so nice. I had the big bowl with buckwheat, curry, veggies and small seitan, it was amazing! Super filling and delicious. Then I had a milkshake of soy milk, strawberries and pineapple, the guy recommended me to have half vanilla and half regular and it was so nice! Both came to a total of 53 kn. He tried his best to make my food good to my taste and gave nice recommendations as well as nice jokes :) definitely will come back when I visit again and would recommend to whoever is in town!

Wow! Just wow! The staff are lovely, they have many options for vegans too! The music is awesome, the atmosphere is great! And I had the most amazing tofu burger with brilliant fries and a great strawberry, banana, vanilla soy milkshake! Definitely would recommend!

Amazing breakfast sandwiches and juices at crazy prices! Their 28 kuna (about 4USD) toast and shake breakfast combo is incredible. I wasn't expecting such a loaded seitan sandwich at that price. The sauce (ketchup and mayo mix) plus toppings worked together so well. The green shake was also really refreshing. One major point of improvement, however, is their use of single-use plastics, even if you eat in. I would love to see glasses and real plates for dining in to avoid unnecessary waste. If you do order a shake and they're still using plastic, be sure to ask for it without a lid and straw.

I ordered the woke bowl with soup combo and a small juice. The soup was great but the wok bowl with curry sauce was bitter due to excess turmeric and I couldn't eat more than 2 spoons. I should have ordered the conventional teriyaki one instead.

I was super stuffed after the lunch at this place. Everything seemed delicious that I ended up over-ordering. Only now days later finally I remember to give my review for this place. One of the best Asian food restaurants in Zagreb. Although they might have been altered to suit the taste of the locals, it’s understandable as they placed themselves as a “fusion” restaurant.

Delicious Ramen. The tonkatsu Ramen broth is really tasty, ingredients are top quality, definitely one of the best ramens I had (and I had a lot). Cooking of the egg could be improved (slightly overcooked), but not a big deal. Highly recommend 👍🏻.

Then the noodles and the pork belly donburi was just incredible. So tasty with tender pork. It was all perfect! I would definitely recommend. Staff were great too and it was busy for a Tuesday evening.

I love all kinds of Asian food and this was a hit! You won't get overwhelmed by the menu because it's carefully selected. Pork belly bao was amazing, as was tuna poke bowl. Tuna was well marinated, rice well seasoned and I loved the choice of toppings. My boyfriend had gyozas and karaage chicken donburi - he enjoyed both. I highly recommend reserving a table. We came on Monday evening and I don't think we'd have a place to sit if we hadn't reserved a table. The atmosphere is vibrant and international, after all the restaurant is situated in the courtyard of a hostel and beneath Swankey's terrace. We spoke English with the waitress which was honestly no problem for us. We were also served quickly even tho the place was full. The only downside of our experience were the drinks! I'm not a wine snob but I like to have a good glass of wine, this one unfortunately wasn't it (Dobra berba "Biello") 😬 And ice cubes in my boyfriend's drink had an unpleasant smell/taste. So all in all, we'll definitely come back and try different drinks 😄

Everything was delicious, but my favorite was the green curry. The banana dessert was to die for — absolutely delicious! I’m definitely coming back for more. The staff were super polite and nice. ✨️🌸

We ordered the Khao Soi Ramen — it was delicious and quite unusual, I tried this kind of ramen for the first time! The interior was interesting, and the friendly service was also a nice surprise — at our request, we were moved to another table (since one of the rooms was a bit stuffy). We’ll definitely be coming back to try more dishes! 😊

LOCATION & ATMOSPHERE Great location, one tram stop from the main square, atmosphere is pleasant and cozy. SERVICE Professional, friendly, everything was very smooth. PRICE Actually very good prices regarding the location, 12-15€ per dish on average. FOOD Chicken katsu is what I took, decent portion, great flavours, I was very satisfied. OVERALL One of those places where you feel that no matter what you take, it will be good because they hold a certain standard. Come and enjoy, this restaurant has my recommendation.

Had a very good "local home-style" Dinner here. The food was quite good and they offered fresh seasonal dishes. The pumpkin soup was excellent, as was the pumpkin risotto. I enjoyed the "beef stew", which was sliced pot roast in a wonderful gravy with potato "dumplings" (actually were pressed potato/bread things, sure they have a name here). Coffee was great, service was exemplary. Look forward to going back!

The BEST meal we had during our 7 night stay in Croatia. The risotto was incredible and the steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The beef gnocchi was delicious as well, and the amount of beef in the dish was impressive. Very reasonably priced, especially their drinks. Had a very smooth glass of rose for 3.60 euros. Definitely worth a visit!

I had an amazing dinner here! The food quality is top notch, the drinks are fantastic and the service is excellent. I had the Dalmatian pašticada and it was my favorite version I’ve had in Croatia. Truly recommend for everyone visiting Zagreb 💜

Coming from Australia we were looking for some traditional food. Well, we got that here and the serving sizes are very generous. A perfect way to finish our tour of the Zagreb city (The main meal was shared between two)

Excellent! The typical Croatian food was delicious! They do communicate in English very well. It was a privilege to receive the hand made cookies just before leaving the place!

An intimate space, tucked slightly away from the main square, the bar is run by very friendly and efficient staff, who were happy to accommodate our requests. When our chosen item wasn't available, they suggested and created a very suitable alternative. The young lady who looked after us was really smiley and attentive, despite it being veeery late. She intuitively knew when to have a little chit-chat with us and when to leave us to chat amongst ourselves. 5*!👍 Downside: too smoky ... with a group of eight festive visitors sitting beside us, the space got pretty smoky pretty quickly. A better ventilation system perhaps? Upside: budget friendly for a city centre location. Final verdict: A nice little spot for a small group of friends or couples. Anna @TastingCroatia

Stumbled across this place on our first night in Zagreb and it was excellent. Very reasonably priced and had good vegetarian options. The decor is cool, aquatic themed, and the server was really friendly. One of us had the special which he said was excellent. Great for budget dining.

This restaurant was great; my husband and i had one of the best meals of our 3 week tour of Croatia here. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The ambience of the restaurant was really great too: chic, eclectic, and cozy all at once. The server was friendly and attentive and spoke English well. I would definitely recommend!

Nice small restaurant. Everything there is made with passion. The interior was to be remembered, definitely. If I visit Zagreb again, I surely will pay a visit one more time.

Food was decent. Meatballs weren’t meatballs, but more of a patty. They also weren’t made with beef but pork. Service was great though! If you are around, it’s worth a visit, but don’t go out of your way to try it.

I was seriously craving ramen and ended up here—and I’m so glad I did! The food absolutely hit the spot—rich broth, perfect noodles, and everything was full of flavor. Went for lunch. The Korean style noodles were very good. It’s best to really mix up everything in the bowl to get the peanut flavours and. Bulgogi stock onto the noodles. Service is efficient.

In the middle of the city I found this place. During the summer nice seating outside. The menu is very compact, but offers everything. Service is very friendly and professional. I had the Ramen with Tempura shrimps and fried chicken as a starter. It was delicious.

We chose outdoor seating and had about a 15-minute wait. The ramen was pretty average and the place didn’t have many locals. Prices felt high for the quality. Conveniently walkable from the square.

We went to Torikaya yesterday, for the first time. I've heard good reviews from few people and they were true. The food was great and so tasty.. it was amazing. Service was also great. Can't wait to go there again 👌

Japanese hospitality is way ahead of the next door Neighbors. Very welcoming, warm and hearty service from Kris who stewarded us and explained the food on the table. Made our first evening at Zagreb really worth the while.

Mostly, local people were dining at the time we were there. Calamari, mackel, and potato salad were unforgettable. Fun and friendly owner with a unique atmosphere.

The place looked shady and not many people were there as we descended down the stairs. The elderly guy behind the counter could speak english, explained the menu to us and let us know we could only pay cash before we got to order, so we went to take out some money and came back. Food was good, we payed like 28€, it came out fast and we were satisfied. As we sat there more people came and as we were leaving even a few more came, so it really is a popular place.

Simple shop and kind ladies working there. Unfortunately the fish felt oily and heavy and it was not possible to pay with card.

There is really only one good value meal here for lunch, and that is their plentiful serving of fried calamari. You can add on a potato salad or french fries. This place was very popular for lunch - for 10-12 euros you can get almost anything on the menu plus a drink. Service is sit -anywhere-you-want, and you might dine alongside other local workers and businessfolk. It is no frills, and Croatian only, but you can point at their menu and it will work out if you're having trouble with the language. No wifi.

Perfect - authentic. The shabbiness adds to the atmosphere. Locals there too. Kind service (definition of 'chaotic good'), tasty fish, good price. Cash only.

Best place to try fish if you are in Zagreb, owner is super nice and the fish taste so good and fresh. Must visit this place if you are fish lovers.
