The atmosphere was very inviting and service great! We had ginger tea, the soup of the day, Red Dragon and sweet potato fries. The soup was delicious and if you're a fan of beetroot, the pasta (red dragon) is a tasty choice and not overly beety. For me, the fries were disappointing. Serving them in a bowl just didn't work. The ones on top were somewhat crispy, the bottom ones soggy and supper oily. And for the price of the tea, I was surprised to get a bag and not freshly made.

The food is great - organic (from a local farm owned by the same people as the restaurant and Bio Bio health food stores), vegan, macrobiotic, has gluten free options. It is my go to place in Zagreb! The service can be slow and the atmosphere is not buzzing but quiet with a simple, clean style. You should make an online reservation as lunch times can get full.

We had a fantastic lunch at Zrno Bio Bistro in Zagreb — the vegan cuisine exceeded our expectations! The portions are generously large, which we really appreciated, and the service was friendly, welcoming and attentive throughout our visit. We especially loved the “panirani tofu” — perfectly crisp on the outside, tender inside, and full of flavour — as well as the comforting miso soup, which made a great starter. Both are stand-out dishes for us. One tip: reservations are recommended. All in all, a lovely place for great vegan food, excellent service and a warm atmosphere. Will definitely return!

Zrno is the first 100% vegan restaurant in Zagreb, pioneer of eco, organic, and vegan cuisine in the city. Excellent choice, pleasant atmosphere. I recommend their classic – Seitan Cordon Bleu.

One of my favorite vegans meals in the world. Fresh ingredient prepared with flavor. I had the breaded tofu and it was a huge portion, served with wok died veg and fresh salad. Delicious!!! Organic and food comes from their local farm. Highly recommend. Staff are super nice.

We had read some good reviews on TripAdvisor so we decided to come here for dinner. Another reason was availability of veg food which is little difficult in Zagreb. we were not disappointed. It was a small place in a pedestrian lane which was full of bar and restaurants with lively ambience. We had veg curry with rice and deviled vegetables which was quite good. The tables and chairs could have been better. The service was fast and efficient...

Visited here on our first night based on previous reviews as we had booked an authentic meal for our second night and fancied something a little different. The menu is limited but still plenty to choose from. The mixed stater was fine but nothing special, however the slow cooked pork curry was very, very good. The service was not overly attentive and lacked interest.

Found this really cool place on a busy road in Zagreb with seating outside and a really good atmosphere. The have some nice vegan options. I Had a really good sri lanka stir fry made with vegetables and soya chunks in a blend of spices and a sauce. Served with rice and Pol sambol, which is a mix of spices and grated coconut.

It was our first time trying Srilankan cuisine and we loved it. The ingredients were fresh and the dishes were flavourful. Infact, the portions were large. I would definitely recommend the Kaha Bath, the turmeric rice. We tried Chicken curry, Pork curry and Fish curry, all three with Kaha rice and perfectly spiced to our taste. Prabhan(i hope it’s spelled correctly) was so polite and helpful, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He even gave us the special Srilankan curry powder. Can’t wait to try them in my dishes. Highly recommended for those who want a quality meal with very friendly folks!

The flavors of each dish are an exquisite combination of fresh ingredients. The concept of customizing the spice level is a brilliant idea that caters to all tastes. The fried rice with beef and mixer appetizer platter were so amazing, without a doubt, the culinary experience at this place is highly recommended. I hope to return soon to try other delicacies on the menu.

As a Malaysian being in Croatia for 11 days, I was already craving for spice. curry bowl had so many on their menu and even provides, spicy, level options, which is great. It had enough taste, and the spice was really effective🥵 Some of my friends think that they are ginger. Beer is a tattoo too sweet, but it’s OK for me. You may want to adjust the sugar level according to your preference.M Would strongly recommend. Not to mention that their Service was also super great and friendly.

The atmosphere was cozy and beautifully decorated, gives you an instant desi feeling. Food was good, spicy as required but for me was somewhat less salted, so taste could be better I think. Hopefully next time! We tried their Samusa, Vegetable biriyani with Chicken vindaloo. Service was fast. Recommended! 👌

Unfortunately our second time here and a bit disappointed the food wasn’t as tasty as 2 years ago and my son said the meat tasted fishy and it did. I feel sad as we were really looking forward to the meal and it just wasn’t up to scratch and don’t think we’ll be returning, sadly. The worst Indian food my family & myself have ever had! I don’t recommend it at all & a place to avoid in the future! A waste of time and money! My son never complains about his food but sadly he did about the food served here.

You are roaming Zagreb and the aroma of yumminess hits you. You have to have this food. You must. We were quickly seated. A friendly server suggested portions and what’s good (hint everything). We have been traveling for a bit and craving desi food. And boy are we glad we found this restaurant. We had samosas for appetizers. This was a big serving and tasted awesome. The butter chicken tasted excellent. The tikka fresh and served on a hot plate. Most importantly not with the red dye which is not common in the US. I loved the biryani, especially how it was cooked in a dough cover like it’s supposed to be. We really enjoyed our experience here. The staff from the host to the servers is friendly and made our experience special. Really loved the place and hope to be back.

Was hoping for a bit better experience here. On a Sunday evening 8.30 the restaurant was full and almost unbearably noisy - including families with children playing loud games on their phones and couriers entering and leaving all the time. I wish the restaurant would do something to limit the noise i.e. acoustics, asking people to limit the noise and better interior design. It was a very stressful evening. Had chicken tikka grill and butter chicken. Food portions are the smallest we have ever had in an Indian restaurant. The grill was good cooked well but did not taste of much compared to other Indian food. The butter chicken was well spiced but a little undercooked. Prices are only okay, considering that you have to add naan and rice to the main dish. The service was okay, not the often humble Indian service but also not rude. Would only eat here again if it is not so busy.

Really nice food! The lamb was really exquisite. The rice and garlic bread were great extras. The chicken tandoori was a bit dry for my taste but good. Shout out to the Indian Typical Lemonade which is sweet and salty at the same time. Perfect to wash the spicy out of the mouth

Vegehop is a small vegetarian restaurant tucked away in a passage, just off the busy Vlaška Street. There’s no available parking and seating is limited, but the food is entirely vegan and vegetarian—and absolutely delicious. The portions are generous, perfect for hungry visitors. The waitress was exceptionally friendly. I’d definitely come back to try more dishes from the menu.

I was looking for a local vegan place to eat whilst on a quick pit stop between Zagreb and further travel. Located 18 mins walk from the main bus station, I decided to go. I had pad thai with tofu and it was great. I was so happy as normally I have trouble getting pad thai in Thai places, without an egg. Here I obviously didn't even need to ask. And the lady serving was very friendly and helpful. So a few days later I walked there again, this time from the train station. I had hemp burger and lemon tart. Both very tasty. Definitely the place to eat in Zagreb! Hvala!

Celiac friendly. This is a small vegetarian restaurant that takes its allergy advice seriously. My wife is celiac and upon arrival she asked about their ability to offer gluten free options. She was initially told that they could not make any guarantees, but when the chef came out of the back and talked to my wife she assured her that she could do a mushroom pasta without any risk of cross contamination. This and her side salad that included Jerusalem artichoke my wife found to be delicious. I ordered a barley pottage which was comfortably filling and full of different flavours. It was the first time I had experienced a pottage, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. While there are not a lot of gluten free options on the menu, we still highly recommend trying this place.

This is a really cool place, they have a fully vegan menu and some really yummy food. I the vegan lasagna filled with zucchini, tomato sauce and soya cream, baked with vegan cheese, served with a refreshing side salad. Loved it ☺️

Our first day in Zagreb and after looking for vegetarian restaurants we found Restoran Vegehop not far from our hotel and decided to give it a try for dinner. Fantastic vegan food. I ordered the Fried Tempeh menu that included brown rice, tempeh marinated in tamari sauce, steamed vegetables with basil pesto along with a side salad. The tempeh had a lot of flavor, the vegetables were fresh and the basil pesto was whipped and added such amazing flavors. Great vegan food. For drinks we both ordered the fresh apple juice. My partner ordered the tofu menu with the same side dishes and loved the food. Highly recommend for vegan lovers, quite the tasty meal.

So happy with this find! We got the 4 dips (meza) and shared the new lamb shank dish with rice. Everything was excellent! Service was quick and great. The waitress was very friendly and nice (Lemise, Im sorry if I spelled your name wrong!). Meat was so tender and the rice had great flavor. Each dip was different but flavorful and tasty. Will go back there for sure!

A beautiful Lebanese spot with authentic flavours, reasonable prices and warm, friendly staff! We came for a light dinner and got some tabbouleh salad, classic hummus and a falafel plate - all tasty, especially the falafel which was cooked to absolute perfection. We also enjoyed some Arabic coffee after the food, which was lovely (I say this as someone who makes Lebanese coffee daily!). Finally, the waitress is also fantastic with a warm attitude and a great level of hospitality. 5/5 I would recommend this place & would be back soon with an emptier stomach, so we can try more delicious food (the shawarma looked incredible)!

Delicious food, we had the baba ghanoush as starter and after the falafel wrap and the beef wrap. Very nicely spiced, real taste explosion! Also, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Bonus: they speak and understand english, witch is great, because our croatian is quite bad.

The food was amazing, especially the beef shawarma plate. The meat is succulent and juicy and the chips cooked to perfection! The hospitality and service from the people working there was amazing! Definitely recommend coming here.

Personally, I think this is one of the best restaurants in the city center. The fish was fresh, and the peach salad had a perfect balance of sweet and sour, with the cheese and chopped almonds adding a unique texture. I also want to especially thank the beautiful waitress who was professional, enthusiastic and sweet, will definitely be back!

We’ve been to Restaurant Korčula three times now, and it never disappoints. This time, we had the turbot with a ginger-lime sauce – incredibly fresh and expertly filleted right in front of us. A real treat! Our waiter Tom was fantastic – attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. He really added to the experience. Great wine, excellent seafood, and a welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

My experience was unfortunately left to be desired. I had a fish soup which was okay, the famous black risotto was unbelievably salty so I asked the waiter to make another one, he was very kind to do so, which I appreciated. Unfortunately the second one is still very salty to the level that I could even bear. I left the whole plate uneaten. Maybe it’s my bad day or my tolerance for salt is too low ( which I doubt ) this Dino Jr experience is very disappointing. I was still charged full price . Fair enough, hence the honest review. Will definitely NOT coming back, though many locals did recommend this one to me. Thanks for the service. My mouth is still full of the dead saltiness.

We wanted to try some Dalmatian style seafood dishes, so we came here during our week in Zagreb. For the price, my verdict is that dishes were hit or miss, with some dishes underseasoned and bland and plating that was more homestyle than upscale. As someone who’s based in Boston, my standard for seafood is quite high. The best dish was the pasta with shrimp and truffles. Others like the baked octopus and seafood brudo lacked flavor. Octopus salad also needed more seasoning. Plating could have been nicer for this price point, especially for the baked octopus. The strawberry pavlova dessert was very disappointing. It was thin and needed a bit of tartness and/or sweeter strawberries. I still think it could be worth trying this restaurant but I would keep my expectations limited.

We visited Korčula for lunch - the service is impeccable, the place itself has a classy feel, however I was quite disappointed with the food. We ordered octopus with potatoes, which was tender and very tasty, but tuna steak was a disaster. There was no meat whatsoever, only fat ( I wonder how something like that can even be served??). The waitress was very apologetic and in the end I was not charged for this plate, but still, we are not coming back.

Absolutely fantastic food! Definitely for the tourists- hidden further away and not visible from the main road, prices also indicate that. But nonetheless- delicious and beautiful food, great service and surroundings. Beware of the size of the portions! 🤭😅

Visited here for brunch having been in Zagreb only a few minutes. It wasn’t the easiest to find with some construction work taking place on the main road but once we found it we were greeted by a really friendly guy. The food portion size was good and the quality was good also, I just think it’s a little on the pricey side for what it was. It was a nice change and nice to go somewhere a little different. The eggs were a little under cooked for my liking but the ham and my wife’s salmon was nice.

We absolutely loved Eggspress in Zagreb! The cafe has such a lovely, welcoming vibe. It’s bright, cozy, and full of charm. We ordered the Scrambled Eggs and the Eggs Royale, and both were absolutely incredible, perfectly cooked, fresh, and full of flavour. The staff were so kind and friendly, and even went out of their way to give my husband a hand fan to match mine, which was such a sweet and thoughtful touch. It’s rare to find a place with both amazing food and genuinely lovely people, highly recommend! 💛

If you are an egg lover, this is your place! The location is a bit further from the town, but worth our efforts to come. Egg Benedict gave you 3 eggs, and you can top up various extra items. We tried the spicy yogurt which is not spicy but delicious. The scrambled eggs were more cooked ,not the soft kind if you wondered. The vibe is fantastic. They prepared blank paper and colorful pens for you to draw when you are waiting for the food! Beverage is more average though. Hot cocoa was too sweet for us.

Overall, a place above the standard — the food was delicious, lounge music playing in the background, cold drinks, good service, and a price that was completely reasonable. We ate and drank for €57 for four people. A young and trendy spot, definitely recommended.

Right after our arrival in Zagreb we felt hungry and found this place called Umami. We had some fried seafood, a fried rice with beef, an indy, a morokan soup and some fried noodles with chicken and vegetables. The soup was not spectacular since I know different versions of lentil soups. But the indy with curry chicken and rice was delicious. Also my family was happy with what they ordered. The portions are big so beware when ordering. The prices are acceptable. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I had high hopes for pork bao buns, but they were not quite there. The buns were falling apart, a bit overcooked perhaps. The flavours were tasty.

I had Indy dish. I couldn’t feel the coconut flavour at all. The sauce should be more creamy. Chicken breast meat would be better then tights. Also, meat could be braised better. I could cook it better and I’m not a chef. Also, some naan would be nice 🙂

While the variety of food is limited and there is a lack of seafood dishes, what is available is delicious and refreshing. We take a platter for two and a pie with spinach. The sis kebab was very tasty excellent. Sausages and small kebab excellent too. The bread homemade with butter very tasty. The problem was that rhe plater had no salad!!! So it's very difficulty to eat kebab only and bread and potatoes with no salad..so we didn't enjoy the kebab..if the platter had salad or any sauce would be excellent. The pie was very tasty. Service was awful...very delay with the food and we order and a salad that they never take it to our table.

When this place first opened, the food was really good, but now the quality has declined significantly. The food quality is horrible, and the portions are small compared to the prices. On one occasion, we even received sour kajmak that was past its expiration date, which could cause health issues. I can no longer recommend this place as it clearly needs big changes.

Excellent authentic Bosnian restaurant. Minced meat meals are very tasty and made with quality ingredients, everything is spiced nicely, no need for salt or anything. There's lots of meat in all meat dishes and quantities are excellent. If you have a BIG appetite you want be disappointed! Staff is very friendly and helpful, they'll assist you with your choices and modify and dish if neccessary. Highly recommended!

This is a small but nice place to taste different types of sushi. They have modern touch. You can find non-raw sushi for children and pregnant ladies ( you can ask them to make your own choice) and all kinds of others. Place is in the centre, reservation is must. Service was fast and food portions was enough.

Some of the best sushi we have ever eaten. We ordered the Evergreen 2.0 and everything was very flavorful and delicious. The restaurant has a nice ambience and the staff was very professional and friendly. We did not have reservations, but did notice that it was getting very busy after 7:30 pm on a Friday. If you enjoy sushi you’ll like Evergreen.

Honestly, the place looks good and the sushi is not bad but the service is not really good. You always feel rushed and I just didn't like the atmosphere and couldn't wait to get out. The sushi for the price is honestly not worth it and I wouldn't recommend this place out of the other places in Zagreb.

Great sushi place in city center! Make sure you book ahead as place is mostly full, unless you come at some odd non-eating time. Selection of sushi and rolls is great, and so is selection of wines. Including even wine from New Zealand. Prices are normal and food is worth it. Staff was very nice and fast.

I tried the french and the original burgers. Very tasty, and juicy. The french sauce and cheese gives a distinguished smooth taste. I also enjoyed the soft buns. I tried the place's own beer. It is a lager beer with a sweet fruity after taste I would definitely recommend it. The fries themself are average, however the cheesy toppings were delicious. I would recommend the owner to improve the fries, to the Belgian authentic style for instance. In brief a very good burger, one if the best

Burgers were very nice, especially the vegan one. Truffle fries with shaved cheese were delicious! But staff was not very friendly, it seemed like we were bothering her with just being in the restaurant.

Incredible flavors at Submarine Burgers! I had the truffle Grana Padano homemade fries – absolutely addictive, I couldn’t stop eating them! The smash burger with smoked cheese was simple, yet so juicy and flavorful that it didn’t need any extra toppings. Just pure, delicious natural, organic, homemade quality. A must-try spot in Zagreb if you’re into gourmet burgers done right!

Wooooow! I'm just visiting Zagreb, and step by Submarine Burgers just by chance. What can I say...you surprised me :D omg what a delicious burger! I ordered the smashed burger and the cheese fries. Everything was soooo delicious, like I said I just enter the restaurant by chance...so I didn't knew you were working with local, organic and natural products... But when I tasted the food I can noticed... Comes to my mind...this is not an ordinary burger...taste as deep noble flavors...so I came back home to research about it and yes.... Nice work guys....the food is amazing!!!! I will never forget this burger! Also the fries with cheese and a kind of special sauce with pickles was incredible and looked homemade....yummy!!!! I just ate everything!!! Thank you so much for your effort and for doing these good quality burgers!!!!

All eight of our burgers were cooked to perfection with delicious extras. Fries were fresh, but could have been crispier. Staff was slight stressed, but friendly and helpful. Overall a very very good lunch.

We took the burger sliders and the classic burger + their burger beer. The sliders are a perfect option for those who are indecisive but I would highly recommend the classic or the Italian job burger. Their in-house beer is a must try!

Absolutely delicious cocktails here! Loved all that we tried. Service was really great, we were able to walk in after 10pm and get seats inside. The waiters were friendly and explained the cocktails well. Croatia- Tasty. The star is the prosciutto, cheese and olive garnish was the star.. basically you sip the drink to try it. The eat the garnish to taste with a different palate. Really delicious we were offered another garnish so we both can try but were charged for it! Barbados- the most delicious mango flavored cocktail i ever had!! The foam was out of this world! Australia- good cocktail, very refreshing and tart. The foam here yet again is the star. If you like berry and tartness this is for you.

Visited Roots Bar in Zagreb twice in two days, and it’s an absolute gem! The service is super friendly and genuine - not the fake touristy kind - making us want to return just for that. Yesterday, we tried two Negroni-inspired cocktails: the “Fig” (fig distillate, Campari, red vermouth, fig leaf soda) offered a nice twist, though not groundbreaking, and the “PBJ” (rye whiskey, red vermouth, peanut butter, and jelly) was a standout - beautifully presented with a jelly-topped spoon for that PB&J vibe. Today, the Lemon Cheesecake (limoncello, lemon, heavy cream, Licor 43) was an absolute explosion of delight - imagine a creamy, zesty lemon cheesecake transformed into the most divine drink you’ve ever tasted! It’s a must-try masterpiece! Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Zagreb! Oh and the music selection was spot on as well 😉

During my three days in Zagreb, I discovered ROOTS, and I couldn’t be happier! Their special diets menu is fantastic: super vegetarian-friendly and filled with vegan options. I indulged in a delicious smoothie bowl that blew me away and the avocado salmon sandwiches were delightful. Even if was very busy all, they were very kind and helped us with a table for two. The service was friendly and casual, making my lunch experience truly enjoyable. Highly recommend it!

We have had only the nachos and they weren't perfect, cocktails are good and there are plenty of interesting options. Waiter was very kind and the atmosphere outside was very nice during late hours.

I have been to Zegrab twice to see family, both times I have come to Roots. One of the best places to go for brunch, so fresh, tasty and amazing food (and smoothies/juices). I had the ham and cheese brioche with poached eggs, salad, nuts and seeds etc with the mangosta juice! It’s a must try for anyone passing by. Thanks again, and cannot wait to be back 🇭🇷

You know what!?!?!? I walked in thinking to order dessert from the photos seen at reviews. However, they had stopped serving dessert, left with smoothie. Why i gave 5star, the service staff brought 2 glass of water right after we are seated. He politely told us that they no longer sell dessert. Very good service rendered. It was quite crowded when we reach around 830Pm.

My friends and I had the tabbouleh, hummus, lamb shank, minced lamb skewer and the beef steak. The beef and lamb shank were super tender. Tried several baklava which were all really good and fresh. The staff were really friendly, and Kumar are server was great. Awesome ambiance. Would recommend!

Had an incredibly delicious meal here today. Been traveling for over 2 weeks now and needed a little middle eastern food as I missed my own food. The food was delicious. We had 3 salads and 3 main courses. The tabouli, fattoush, and shish tawook were absolutely incredible. Ambiance outside was great outside with good weather as the sun was setting. Would absolutely eat here again.

We tried this place, and we loved it! We are Lebanese living in Europe, and we were missing our traditional food, and here it was amazing. The taste and the portions. The place has very nice decor inside and a very cozy patio outside. Mhamad was very welcoming, thank you You also have to try their Lemonade and the Lebanese coffee! Best meal we’ve had on our trip! Mohammed took great care of us and brought us dishes based off what we said we liked. Our favorites were the mint lemonade (best I’ve had), falafels, fattoush salad, chicken taouk, and their Lebanese light dessert. And wonderful service. 10/10

SUCH a nice place! we were in this restaurant a few weeks ago and I'm still thinking about it which reminded me to leave a review. our time with them started amazing with the staff being so so hospitable and quick. our server Kumar(I hope I got the name correctly it's been some time) was super attentive and always offered a smile which definitely made our dinner better :) the food - what is there to say about it? there was 4 of us and we inhaled it like it was the air we needed to breathe. simply amazing. not only the food but they also offer a lot of interesting drinks you cant find in other restaurants and even some you can but somehow better?(try their lemonade TRUST ME we ordered it like 5 times in one sitting) I regret that we didn't have a lot of time to properly sit down and enjoy as we were in a hurry but hopefully I will have a chance to come back and right that wrong soon🫶 10/10 recommend!

This restaurant was not busy when it should be packed. Kumar was an excellent server who was very quick and kind. The food was the most flavorful food I’ve had so far on my trip. The Kefta was by far the most delicious and the creamy garlic sauce was to die for. Thank you Kumar and his associate (John le Sean I believe) for excellent service and even better food. We needed some flavor (and garlic) on this trip and you provided.

We had breakfast there, the food there was amazing but I did find the portions a bit small. The smoothies and coffee was nice. The staff was kind and friendly. Also, the cafe has a great sitting and ambience.

Delicious, fresh and the perfect size! I could cry. Pitaya and acai are big parts of my diet back home. Fruit in general is. I have been traveling across Europe with my husband on our honeymoon so I haven't had nearly my normal fruit intake and being able to indulge in a beautiful pitaya bowl here at Melt made my soul sing.

Beautiful brunch - we had the carrot humous toast and the avocado toast and both were excellent. The coffee and gelato was also really lovely. Definitely a great spot for a brunch or coffee in Zagreb.

The gelato is a must! All the other meals looked fabulous, but if you’re brave enough save all your caloric intake for a frozen taste sensation - you will not be disappointed.

As an Italian, I have to say this place really surprised me in a very good way. A few days ago, while we were out shopping, someone very dear to me insisted on bringing me here to try this ice cream, and she was absolutely right. 😄 My Italian taste is quite demanding when it comes to gelato, but I have to admit the quality here is truly impressive, even by Italian standards. The atmosphere is cozy, the staff is kind, and the whole experience was just perfect. The person I was with enjoyed it as much as I did, and that says it all. Definitely a place I’ll be happy to return to next time I’m in Zagreb. 🇮🇹🍦✨

It has lots of nice decorations inside. Cool, cozy pub where you can drink Sangrita. Only problem was that they didn't except card so we really had to put money together in cash but rather than that pub is cool to hang out they also have finger food such as tapas and other good things to try, you can ask about different alcoholic beverages. Person who serves speaks English well.

A very nice, small Spanish tapas bar with a small outdoor garden. Prices for wine and drinks were some of the most reasonable in Zagreb. Tapas were super tasty and fresh made, but there were only cold tapas available when we were there. Excellent, friendly service. Probably the best restaurant we discovered in the lower town of Zagreb.

A unique Hispanic place in the very heart of Zagreb, an extremely thought-through interior. It has got so many great unusual details, very nice music, great service, good tapas and I have to say (despite the other reviews that I’ve read) GOOD cocktails (we thought they would be bad but they WEREN’T!) We were planning on staying for one drink and then going to some nice bar but we’ve changed our mind and stayed and enjoyed three cocktails 😍 it is definitely worth visiting and we recommend 💯!!! Nachos are fantastic, the best ones we’ve had so far. Many thanks to Julio and his wife who designed this place. We will definitely come back! Thank you for your hospitality ☺️

What a place! Combination of colourful "forest", a lot of colourful things, reminding us of an Elrow music events. The only difference was the music, here they played some mexican music 😄 Great selection of tasty, small "sandwiches", nice drinks and everything for a very nice price. As a bonus, very nice, friendly and funny waitress, who made the feeling of the place even better ☺️ only negative is the unavailability to pay with card. "Must visit" place if you are in Zagreb!

Awesome place overall if you enjoy a vintage romantic industrial style place. Great service and friendly staff overall assures that you are served fast. Prices are affordable, setting is great for relaxing while you are in downtown and the place if definitely worth a visit again. Would easily recommendto others as this place stands out of Zagreb norms and is a welcome for everyone.

It’s ok. I’ve been multiple times over the years and while I love the concept, it never really delivers. The ice creams and sorbets are way too sweet and lack flavor. The cakes lack flavor, are too dry, or simply don’t taste good. Most recently I tried the vegan chocolate and banana cake and it’s the best thing I’ve tried here by far! If I return this is what I would order. The vegan chocolate cake thing and carrot ginger sorbet are probably the worst items I’ve tried and what I would suggest you avoid.

Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free Heaven! My husband has celiac disease and he was so happy to find this gem. I have mint tea with lemon and honey and it was served in this cute tea set. The whole place is clean, organized with beautiful decor. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend!

Extremely tasty ice cream (bio organic) and they have Arizona Ice Tea, my favorite tastes Blueberry White tea and Green Pomegranate. This place is ruled by Vincek dessert place well known at Zagreb that runs over 40 years, but here everything is modern. Here you can find good dessert options.

Fantastic meal tonight . Very welcoming waiter showed me all the fresh fish that was called today and made suggestions for meals. I could eat. We ended up having these small white fish as a starter and then the monkfish in a wine sauce with polenta and chard as a main course . Very reasonable meal of high-quality

We have been eating out in Zagreb for 2 weeks. The hospitality and kindness from waiters throughout Zagreb has been unparalleled in my world travels. Our waiter at this restaurant was short, rather rude and not helpful. Our presence seemed inconvenient, our command of the Croatian language is poor, but we try to project appreciation and humility in our affairs, to honor local customs and culture. The food was very good, but made bitter by our experience. Business goes where it is invited, we will not return.

Top seafood restaurant, freshest of ingredients, and prepared to the highest standards. Staff is professional and attentive, and cozy ambience with an additional covered terrace. Prices are fair considering the overall experience. The day we visited the AC inside couldn't keep up with the brutal heat wave, but the terrace was a nice alternative.

I was in Zagreb for 3 days as a tourist and I visited this place 4 times during my time there! The staff (Sophia and Kishore) were extremely warm and welcoming. They patiently walked me through their daily offerings. I ended up trying quite a few items on the menu throughout my visits, and I've attached pictures of them all. They were all super delicious and satiating! Special mention to the chocolate-almond cake and the pizza — they were HEAVENLY! Highly recommend this place if you're in Zagreb! And don't miss the pizza if you happen to visit on a Thursday! True to their name, they do leave their guests feeling joyful and make for a memorable time. And lastly, the music there is pretty tasteful, so I had a lovely time indeed!

This place is such good value - highly recommend for a cheap but tasty lunch. We did both combo meals (about €12 each) the serving sizes are really big so are great for big appetites. Falafel and the kebab were both really tasty. They also have healthier and cheaper options too.

I had the best vegan kebab ever at this restaurant during my visit of Zagreb the last weekend. The mix of vegetables, sauce and the meat replacement was just great and very delicious. Also the bread was great and matched the other ingredients well. The service was very nice and they also offer some great menus.

It was a real treat to stumble upon this vegan cafe. We weren’t hungry, but couldn’t pass up the opportunity to stop in for a treat. The desserts (cheesecake and a decadent cherry pastry) were both delicious. Definitely plan to return!

Absolutely cracking vegan kebab here, so glad I went. The server was super helpful, walking me through the menu and making suggestions. It was fresh and tasty - with a lovely hemp wrap which was very different. I had a combo meal so it came with some fries and a homemade juice - really good food and a huge portion for the price. Lovely seating area outside too to people watch from.

Namaste India serves delicious and authentic Indian food. The curries and tandoori dishes are full of flavor, especially the butter chicken. The restaurant has a warm, welcoming vibe. It’s a bit pricey, but the quality is worth it. Perfect for anyone craving real Indian tastes.

I visited Namaste Bistro with my girlfriend in September last year, and the entire experience was outstanding. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala and she ordered the Butter Chicken — both dishes were absolutely delicious, with rich, authentic flavors that really impressed us. To go along with the meal, I tried an Indian beer called Kingfisher, which was a perfect match — light, crisp, and refreshing. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, making us feel right at home. Everything from the service to the food was perfect. We both enjoyed our visit very much and would definitely recommend Namaste Bistro to anyone looking for top-quality Indian cuisine. We're already looking forward to going back!

Absolutely delicious! We got a table for five, so we got to try five different dishes and there were simply no misses. My favorite was the Lababdar curry, but the lamb shank was a close second. Absolutely would come here again.

Very good Indian restaurant located in the center of Zagreb. Delicious Veg Pacoras! Super recommended panner and coconut chicken. The mango lassi was also delicious! A bit pracey for Zagreb and the portions werent that big for the price. Flat bread was one slice and had to be payed for. Overall fast service and delicious food though!

One of the best restaurants in Zagreb. We had a great time. The waiter was super nice and he explained everything that was served to us. Food was amazing, like another level. From apetizors, through the main course (we had meat and pasta) all the way to deserts. Music was not to loud but we could still hear it. The owner knows what is doing. This was my second time at VODNJANKA and once again, it was absolutely fabulous! We came as a group of six and were lucky to have the small, separate room all to ourselves – cozy, warm, and perfect for a relaxed dinner among friends. The host guided us through the menu with spot-on recommendations for shared appetizers and main courses from Istria. Every dish was delicious, but the highlight for me was the risotto with green asparagus and shrimp – fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients, and the hospitality is just as impressive. Friendly, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about food. VODNJANKA is definitely a must visit in Zagreb.

Cute restaurant with a quiet and elegant atmosphere. Service was nice and attentive. The soups we tried were excellent and so was the bread and selection of olive oils and chocolate dessert. The mains though maybe left a bit to be desired, especially the Istrian beef plate. They were not bad by any means, but we've tried better versions of the dishes we got elsewhere. Still would recommend.

If you like / want to try vegan food, here's the right place. I had chia pudding/yogurt for breakfast which was good and bought some chocolate bites. Only chia pudding is not fulfilling for me but it was tasty. Chocolate bite and coconut bite were good.

Trying to be raw vegan, mostly fruitarian lately. The hardest thing is when you want to buy/order something because y can't make it yourself. This place is the closest to the kind of food I'd like to eat regularly. The chia pudding I found a bit boring, the cakes I find wonderful, and they don't hit like a brick like some raw desserts do, the wrap & the norimaki are wonderful. Really grateful to have found this place. Quite some plastic on some packagings though, unless this seems like the best option I would think of cardboard instead, just a suggestion. Much love

If you are looking for something healthy to eat – this is the place to go or order from! The noodle salad is really delicious and so are the cakes. I wish there was more to choose from, though! Maybe a daily dish? Or more salads, a stew, bowls??? I do understand that the space is limited, but it would be really nice if you expand! :)

Have come to Zagreb many times and I always grab a coffee and a to go salad! Great veggie options and a little veg grocery in the back too! The blonde woman is so friendly and always translates the ingredients in the to go case for me 😊

The only thing I noticed is the beer and wine options; one brand of beer and two wine lables… Everything we tried was delicious and well presented. Bread could have been fresher to enjoy better with muhammara and lebneh. Overall, would recommend.

I'm an Arab and this was the worst Lebanese food I've ever tasted. The bread was store -bought and bad, the Shwarma was basically stir fried chicken breast, the Knafa's cheese was hard and cold, and the Arabic coffee tasted like water
