The food was terribly overpriced all options. There were two people, including us eating at the facility.. The Philly sandwich was literally 2-3 thin pieces of meat on a small roll for $16. I upgraded to a salad for three dollars more. I think they’re chocolate malts were literally $12.99Nice facility, but I’m one and done

First our wait staff were super friendly, helpful, and professional. Took great care of us! My food, pork tenderloin with sweet potato fries, was cooked perfectly and tasted great...was served hot and fresh. Others in our party really enjoyed their food as well. The restaurant is well taken care if and has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend Tish's in Council Bluffs.

The young lady who sat us was very friendly and made us feel at home. Our server was awesome as well as the service. Food was VERY GOOD. We had the California Wrap, Spinach Salad with Grilled Chicken and Chicken Quesadilla. Highly recommend this place

This restaurant is a hidden gem! We were informed by our hotel that this was a good local place to go and they were not wrong! Ate here both nights of our stay and couldn't go wrong. Simple homemade food, not expensive, and really nice staff! One of the best burgers I've had in a long time and excellent raspberry lemonade!!! If we could, we would move the whole restaurant back home with us. We will come back every time we come back to Council Bluffs, or Omaha, or driving through!!!! Try this place and you won't go wrong!

Contemporary yet warm in style and decor with old street signs on the wall and an old soda machine. We were perfectly happy to choose the shareable restaurant-made Reuben egg rolls and sweet potato fries. They all arrived piping hot! Yummy with their dipping sauces.

When traveling, I look for local and this is it! I was just passing through Council Bluffs but now it will be an intentional stop to come back to the Salty Dog. Excellent service. Super clean, nice bathrooms, and great food. We did their famous wings and a side of fries. Both excellent. I had Chardonnay (usually a bad idea anywhere in the Midwest), but it was good and in a chilled glass. This place is great!

Fast service. Tasty food. Salsa was excellent. Could only eat half my triple decker club sandwich. It's bit busy kids are allowed in this restaurant/ bar so if this is not your thing beware.

Ordered Traditional wings, hand cut fries and Sam Adams Octoberfest beer. Wings were fairly dry and a bit leathery and the Buffalo sauce was not very saucy. Seemed like the wings spent a bit too much time in the fryer or under the heat lamp. The fries were very salty and undercooked and limp. The beer was flat with no head and no bubbles. The other meals at the table were ok except the fries. No one liked the fries. Nice place and the service was pretty good but the food will keep me from being a repeat customer.

Thee late night eats. Kitchen open till 1:30 AM daily. You got something better? Swallowed my feelings on the Spicy Spinach and Artichoke Dip and Charbuff 6 piece wings. Both were fantastic. Absolutely no regrets...would have definitely regretted the Moons Over Mi-Ham-E the next morning that's for sure.

Just ordered for the first time via DoorDash. It came very quickly, they included a bunch of napkins/wet wipes/sauces. The wings are absolutely delicious, flavorful and perfectly cooked. Very impressed and I will be back.

Possibly the best wings in Omaha area . I visit Omaha often for work and was told this place had great wings so I drove over to Council Bluffs and gave this place a shot. The wings really were excellent and the service was awesome. Everyone was so friendly. I highly recommend checking this place out if you are looking for good wings. The other food looked pretty good as well but I did not try anything else.

We dont live in the area but come visit every couple of years. Our first visit was a few a years ago, my second was last year and this is my third. The same people still work there, which says a lot in the service industry! The menu is simple but the food is good! They have Angry Orchard on tap, and as someone with highly reactive celiacs disease I've ordered a burger with no bun both times I've eaten here without a reaction. The staff is friendly, to-go food orders fly out the door! If you are in the area and want to catch a televised game and have dinner i highly recommend this place!! If you want to just grab drink, it's a great place to stop! During regular food service hours i would even say it's family friendly!

Very cool restaurant! Super awesome architecture and design. Very nice selection on tap. Cocktails are very heavy. We had steak bites for our appetizer, which were good but missing the horseradish sauce which I imagine would be a complete game changer. I ordered the Barley Burger, which tasted amazing. The red onion marmalade worked perfectly with the rest of the burger. The crinkle cut fries were great. Wait staff was friendly and made sure we were being helped frequently. Overall good food, atmosphere, and time.

Great food! The pizza rolls were delicious and so was the bruschetta pizza (I had the glaze on the side). Lily was our sever and she was attentive and very kind. Great experience, we’ll back.

They have a $1 matches for Happy Hour on Thursday, so certain drinks/shots are buy one, get one for $1. The food and drinks are great and the service was awesome! It wasn’t super busy and it was a nice, relaxed environment. They also have a system where you can pay online through an app, so you don’t have to wait to get your card back!

Went for lunch wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. The food was great.... I had a patty melt the way I wanted it... different than the menu had it ..it was no problem. We sat outside. It was busy staff was nice and we didn't have to wait. Great service great experience!!!

The Ruben and pork tenderloin sandwiches are huge! Lots of corned beef and kraut on the Ruben and a thick hunk of pork tenderloin that was still moist and tender and perfectly fried. The crinkle cut fries were fresh, hot and tender inside and piled high on the plate.

I had the OHS patty melt, and it was killer!!!! Service was super friendly and fast. I highly recommend. My food was so good that I munched down and forgot to take a picture of the sandwich. Came back again for the Grunt Snort Wheez burger with a fried egg. It was delicious!!!! Kids had boneless wings and loved em’ - 2 sauce covered thumbs up!!!

This place came highly recommended by some friends and it did not disappoint! We got the Prime Rib Burger and the Boom Boom Pow Burger. Boom Boom sauce was just spicy enough, but not overpowering. Meanwhile, the Prime Rib Burger (one of the daily specials) was simply excellent! Great flavor! Also, the Fried Bread Pudding was delicious -- a great value topped with ice cream.

Just off the interstate enough that you'd never know it was there. Incredibly good food. Well worth your time and $. The brisket on the burger was wo tasty and tender. We loved it, you will too

The place itself is very cool. The table we sat at had a beautiful copper top, the inside looks brand new and has a great vibe. The food was decent but only one person working that day and she was not good. She messed up several things on our order, double charged us for things, and when we tried to ask about it she couldn't find our order to double check. This place was great but the service was nearly some of the worst. Mind you it was only our table and 2 patrons at the bar. It was not busy.

If the food can convince me to stay through Luke Bryan style "country" music... It's a special place. There's certainly a lot of small town camp going on inside which I absolutely love. Tl;Dr amazing food, charm for days, just not my kind of music.

Love the moose burgers. Hubby takes me there, because he & I love the Food there. Great conversation with the workers. Never have any issues there. The atmosphere is always friendly and comfortable. I also have social anxiety. But I never feel anxious there. Which is rare for me.

Lunch was delicious and our bartender/ waiter was great. Always there when we needed something, while still taking care of all the other tables. This was my first time there and their broasted chicken was amazing.

One of the best waiter/bar tenders we've ever had. He had a full house & was kicking a**. Food was quite good, but I do have to call them out in their pork "tenderloin." While it was good, I highly suspect it's actually from a pork loin (the same cut loin chops are cut from), not the tenderloin. It's far too big, the meat is very white, and lacked that tenderloin texture and rich juicyness. I tried salting, but realized what it was and that I wasn't going to get that flavor I was missing (please correct me if I'm wrong). I was told, and it looks like, they cut and bread them themselves. Again, good, just not what it says it is. Burgers, wings, appetizers and drinks - all good! Will probably come again.

Been to every place in town. Hands down, the best breakfast in CB. Hungover or not, strongly recommend the Hangover Platter! The best eggs, cooked to perfection. Amazing sausage patty, ham, and bacon. Only I can make biscuits this good! And the sausage gravy? Perfectly seasoned! Shredded hashbrowns to boot. Unbelievable! Go try it for yourself! You won’t be disappointed. Great service as well.

My family and myself tried this today. Probably the best we have had since we moved here! Definitely family oriented and the food quality was excellent, you can tell it was cooked by someone who is passionate. The atmosphere and customer service was truly so welcoming! We will be returning

Staff was very friendly, creating space for us to sit and eat. Food was great, drinks were cheap, and the people were friendly. Great spot for people out on a bike ride to stop and eat. Breakfast here is also top notch. Easily accessible from trails or Ave G. Love Third Base!

First time eating here. The music was pretty loud even tho the place was dead. You had to yell to talk to the person at your table. But the Hawaiian Philly was so F ing epic good ! Gotta try it. Fries were average shoe string , nothing special. The steak bites were blah. Nothing to talk about , wouldn’t get them again. But that Hawaiian Philly .. omg.

This was our first visit here. The service was outstanding. The food was excellent. Good prices. Maybe a little loud but certainly a place to go and have fun. All of the staff was friendly and attentive even though it was very busy. We will be back to try some other items on the menu.

Stopped in for some post workout wings and a non-alcoholic beer. Wings were really good and the beer was cold. Would be great if they had a higher end non-alcoholic like Athletic, but would definitely recommend this place.

Went there for my friends 21st birthday and us all being 21 expected no issues! WRONG their ID scanning app (mind you anyone can download this from the AppStore on their phone) denied the real ID that was issued from a DMV in Maryville,MO. Obviously the app has nothing to do with law enforcement and is not reliable. So then they proceeded to ask us to leave which we did. After that we stood outside the front doors on the public sidewalk and waited for the rest of the group to finish their drink. After chatting with some people on the patio we saw the same (I'm assuming) bar manager come back out. Throughout this whole thing my friend who was denied realized she has her passport with her. His initial tone was very rude and not professional what so ever. So he asks us to get off their "property" and we responded by asking if they accept passports his response was NO, which does not make any sense considering it is a government issued form of identification. Do not recommend at all staff is very disrespectful and have heard many other similar stories. Hope there is reconstruction of the business or else I don't see it being around much longer.

We went as a family and got the pizza. The food was ok, a 7 out of 10 from my pizza maker brother. It is definitely more of a bar inside and if you are looking for more of a restaurant you should sit outside or upstairs.

Worst bar in CB due to a regular named Frank, who is extremely perverted towards women and gets protected by the bartenders. From multiple people I have heard similar stories of Frank and his creepiness yet nothing happens and they encourage his behavior. Would not recommend any women go here as they do no care about your safety, or creeps from making uninvited advances even when told no. You would think a bar would ban a man like this but instead he is a celebrated creep. 0/10, shame on the bartenders for encouraging this for so long.

I recently dined at 712 Eat + Drink and ordered the chicken sandwich with crab Rangoon fries. Let me tell you, the chicken was seasoned like it was ready for a flavor showdown, and the lightly toasted bun was a perfect partner in crime. The slaw added a nice crunch, but the sauce? It seemed to make a sticky mess of the whole meal. Now, the crab Rangoon fries. This is a flavor profile that I’ve never tasted before. Presentation and portion was great. Practical? Not even close. A meal that requires a trip to the restroom to wash off. If you can stand sticky fingers, it’s an experience to be had Price point is above average, I do recommend 712 for a visit.

Clean place friendly personnel working, dining for about 55 people. Salmon was good risotto was good in taste but on the dry side. Good portion pay 32 dollars for it. Burger was good but not so great I think is an average taste but higher in price.. French fry’s were a Fiasco… sorry but this fry’s tastes like from the Walmart bag. I was expecting something more home made like the 5 guys fry’s. I think for 17 dollars it was not worth it.

We had a great experience at 712 Eat + Drink. We came on a weeknight about an hour or so before close. Got sat immediately and the waitress was very accommodating as we had our baby and let us order her food first. Got the kids Alfredo which was a big portion and very good not just some bagged Alfredo. Big hit. I got the Cuban sandwich with the side salad. It was a very good Cuban one of the better ones I’ve had in a while. The side salad was tasty as well really enjoyed the house made vinaigrette that had a great sweet but not too sweet taste. My wife got the Cajun chicken pasta which she really enjoyed then she mixed the leftover Alfredo and Cajun chicken pasta leftovers the next day and said it was amazing! She enjoyed her drink but I don’t remember what she got unfortunately it’s pictured. Definitely would come back.

I didn’t intend to write a review because my life has been crazy busy, but I’m compelled since our dining experience at 712 was that great! Start to finish we enjoyed every aspect. Our server was kind and helpful with spot-on recommendations and just the right amount of attentiveness. The side salad was the best with a unique mix of fresh strawberries and grape tomatoes and tasty, one-of-a-kind house dressing. I had the chicken sandwich (recommended by our server) as a wrap which had a great mix of flavor. My husband had the Cajun pasta and gobbled every bite. And goodness, the Zinfandel! A large pour of a delectable flavor. I want to go back again and again! I didn’t take photos and wish I had.

Love going to 712 and have yet to have a bad time! The staff are so accommodating between splitting portions or a switch of tables. Recently I had their brunch hangover burger and I couldn’t have gotten enough! I also highly recommend their seafood pasta. All in all it’s a wonderful time and I hope they continue their success!

Good service, great food. Pictured: Chicken Parm, White Chicken Lasagna, & salad with orange vinaigrette. Lasagna had too much cheese for my taste, but I can't knock it. I did have the cherry limeade. It was a purple drink that tasted like straight lime juice, but still glad I tried it. Prices are high - but presentation is 10/10.

We dined al Fresco on a beautiful Fall evening. Service was impeccable. Wedge Salad was generous in portion and exciting in flavor & presentation. Many other delicious options like Sweet Pickle Chips for an Appetizer. Flat Bread Pizza was amazing. We will be back.

The Lavosh was a wonderful surprise so yummy. Hot pastrami is our go to typical sandwich with the antipasto . Prepared and served by Rachael makes it extra special she is always hard at work with a smile and makes you feel at home.

A friend told me about this place so decided to giver out a try. Great friendly environment, family friendly, nicer outside eating area. Staff was friendly even though they were short handed at the time, always smiling and helpful. Good was great, prices were very fair, great homemade macaroni salad and a wine club was well that you can join. Great for dining anytime during the day or evening. Giver itt a try and you won't regret it.

A warm and cozy spot for a great lunch on a winter's day. We could visit easily. I noticed a large outdoor seating area for warmer days. You could spend an evening here with friends. Highly recommended.

Wine lovers: AVOID THIS BUSINESS I stopped in because I wanted to support a local business. Unfortunately, I was charged $40 for a wine I could get at Target for $16. The atmosphere was not welcoming and their selection is not one of wine lovers, nor experts. If you want good wine that isn't insanely overpriced and is uniquely sourced, go over the river to the Godega, La Buvette, Nosh, or The Stuffed Olive.

What a fabulous little gem💎 this is! 😀 The food here was fresh and flavorful. My server was a handsome young man that got my order correct and exactly as I asked. The dressing for my salad was made there, as well as the soup. Scrumptious. The burger was the best that I have had in a long time and I go everywhere in the states. Highly recommend this establishment, especially for a small get-together or first date. You're sure to get a great meal and have a positive experience.

I don’t usually write reviews, but The Porch deserves one!!! I have been here several times and have not had one complaint. The food?! Absolutely love it! I’ve tried many dishes and have loved them all. Their staff?! INCREDIBLE!!! Their team busts their bottoms to provide every table with exceptional service!! Lisa and Colin are awesome!!! Whether you want to sit inside and chill, or head out back to the patio, the environment is a great time! If you’re in CB or passing through, I would highly recommend checking them out!!

Hands down one of the coolest local eateries I've been to in years, blasting night at the Roxbury when I walked in & lots of local regulars mid day. Food is fantastic and a great value. Decor is very fun & they keep this place spotless.

The Porch is one of our favorite places! It’s a great atmosphere for everyone. The staff is wonderful - friendly, helpful and always hustling to give us the best experience. We especially love Lisa and Colin, but everyone goes above and beyond. The food has never disappointed! From salads to the famous Mac’n’cheese and Fuhs fries - everything is so good! They have a great patio and big volleyball area, too.

We ate here recently. We both had the Mac and Cheese with Steak. The Mac is smooth and creamy every bite is a delight, tender pieces of steak accompany the dish. What really stands out here is the staff. They make you feel at home. You do not just get one person, but everyone helps to get the job done. Colin and Lisa made us feel comfortable like we were at home. We look forward to our next visit for the food and the staff!!!

This place always seems to be hopping around lunch time. Stooped in on the way home from KCMO last Friday and we where glad we did. The Burgers are excellent and the sweet potato fries with cinnamon and sugar are an unexpected treat. Love that that have gluten free buns available as well as some other gluten free options. We will be back.

It's a Restaurant attached to Thunderbowl. You can order food either in the Restaurant or from the bowling lanes. The Menu is small but very varied. Good selection of Beer. Only downside is if it's League Night good luck finding a parking spot.

Changed owners. Corporate owners now. Menu is awful. Cut down too much. Drinks are fine but we will not be eating here again. I bet the folks at corporate snuggly think they know what the folks want. The neighborhood bars are much better. Good bye!!!!!!!

Since the corporate people took over everything is messed up. Only one waitress can help you before anybody in the place could get you a drink. Prices went up they've installed cameras like they don't trust nobody. Thinking about finding a new hangout. It wasn't for a couple of the employees we would find a new hangout. Not impressed at all with the new owners. The shortened menu is horrible. They've done away with the VIP Club. I could say a lot more but I better stop.

The current staff is doing a great job of keeping up with the needs of customers and keeping the bowling area's cleaned up for the next group of bowlers. Plus getting food orders out. Currently under staffed but those working are doing a great job of covering everything. Sue

I've always enjoyed eating here as I bowl on a league. The staff had always been friendly and courteous. They enjoy getting to know the regulars and do their best to take care of every customer equally.

On Tuesday, they have free music up there. The food is delicious.I order meat lover's pizza. Wow was that wonderful. Their sandwiches are big too. I go there every time I'm in town.

Came here for a kids bday party. Stayed for the French fries. Better than McDonald's. I also noticed that the manager and several associates came around to check on the party. Ten years ago I was a regular at Thunderbowl for cheap bowling on Sunday nights. Still seem to be some of the best lanes around.

1892 is the best sports bar and really the only place I like to watch sports other than my house. Pool table and darts and good company. Jeremy the owner is a class act and very accommodating to the patrons of the bar. I’ve hosted baby showers and birthday parties at 1892 and it’s always been a success! You like to watch soccer at 7AM in morning? Well 1892 will be open so you can cheer on your favorite team! Go Nottingham Forest!

So much potential - good location, cool brick building. Was greeted by the friendly bar dog. Bartender was friendly too... but maybe it's changed since a reviewer (about a year ago) wrote "great craft beer selection". They had an IPA, a German bock, and maybe a cider or something. Other than that - standard domestic light beer lineup. I get it if you're a dive bar, but such a great location deserves better beer selection.

My only complaint as a woman, please buy 2 coat hooks and put them on one of the solid doors in each of the stalls. There's no place to put your purse and I don't want to put mine on the floor.

Stop in here for some ale atleast a couple times a month if not more. They have a great selection of craft beers. The food is also great. The 100 Block area of Council Bluffs is the go to party spot for locals if you are passing through on vacation.

1892 is one of my favorite places to have a drink. All the bartenders and the owner provide amazing service. The atmosphere is top notch. Stop down for a cocktail and have some food.

Our bartender was Jeremy and he was so kind and helpful and knew how to make every drink!! I couldn't ask for a better bartender. He had an answer for all my questions and was so sweet!

The pizza was very good, not only for " bar and food pizza" ... but better then most pizza places ... even the " small town joints" ... will buy agein, try it if you want a good thick topping pizza

It's a hidden gem! Oskies took great care of us and the staff works hard. They are attentive and friendly, and really care about our business. We had a very large bike group in there of about 12 people around 5:30 (just happy hour drinks) and then after our ride around 8:30 (for food and more drinks). The women's bathroom is spacious and clean. Lots of TVs for all kinds of sports. And the biggest plus? ~~ the kitchen is open late so we can get food after our 20-30 mile bike ride! Thank you! We will definitely be back... Oh and Josh Cabernet as a house wine? Fabulous! The Craft Pizzas with thin crust were a big hit with my group!

Bartender likes to belittle paying customers and insult them. Disgusting behavior and left a horrible impression on me. Here’s some advice, tell your staff to keep their drama and personal opinions to themselves. Seriously? Be an adult.

This is our "Cheers"-- they know our drinks and always have good advice If you want to try something new! This last visit they had a slushie machine with Peach Crown and Monster, which was awesome. There are many TVs with anything you might wanna see, games to play (bartender Kyle hits a bullseye every throw I think). Food is tasty too if you need some pizza or sides to go with your drink. Good friends, dark quiet places. 😆

Been in here half a dozen times and always have good service. Bar tenders keep your drinks full and are always friendly. Pizza is really good as well. Just a nice atmosphere altogether.

Bingo was fun. I almost won the big pot at the end of the night it was about $500.00 I was 1 number away. No one hit the big one tonight so next Tuesday from 7 pm- about 9 or 930 pm. Bingo costs $1.00 a game and for the big game it's $2 dollars for a sheet of 2 of $3.00 for a sheet of 3 maximum of 5, and $1.00 for a red ticket to win the jackpot.

We came to hear Southern Nights play from 2 to 6 and stayed the entire time. great stage setup. plenty of tables & chairs. excellent cheese burgers & beefy nachos. the drinks were ice cold & strong. GREAT TIME

The Blk Squirrel is the best bar in CB! The bartenders have the best personalities and are excellent at remembering orders. I’ve been here many times over the years and have never been disappointed!

The first bar my wife and I went to after moving to council bluffs. The bartender, Henry, helped us pick drinks when we didn't know what we wanted which made the night even more enjoyable. the other comments say he's a mind reader and that's accurate. The overall atmosphere of the place was cozy and the people were friendly and inviting. 10/10 would recommend this spot to anyone!

Was a rough little bar. Drinks good but they did shut the jukebox off an hour and a 1/2 before closing time. Left shortly after ✌️

Chill spot and always been welcomed by the people have fast service. Will definitely be going again. Henry the bartender is very attentive and makes a fire cocktail!

If I could give Henry at Blk Squirrel 100 stars, I would. Hands down, he is the reason this bar feels like home every time I walk in. From the moment I sit down, he has a fresh drink waiting like he read my mind. The man is magic. Not only is his bartending top-tier, but he goes above and beyond to make sure I feel safe and comfortable. Any unwanted attention? Henry is already on it before I even have to say a word. He’s fabulous, funny, fast, and always makes the vibe feel just right. Blk Squirrel is my favorite spot on the 100 block, and honestly, it wouldn’t be the same without him. Cheers to Henry — the real MVP behind the bar.

Food not served here to offer. The service was consistent and helpful. We tried this new creamy drink in a can with a peppermint taste. Was dangerously delicious 😋

Bartender and other “regular” patrons were super welcoming and friendly. Next time I’m back I will be in again.

We are in the upstairs party room. We had to go downstairs to get a drink so I wish they're had a bartender upstairs. It's not the first place I would think of to go watch a sporty event

Great service, friendly atmosphere, very clean. The bartenders are the best! Great sports bar, tons of tv’s, they’ll even make sure the sport you’re watching is the closest tv to you!

The main bartender Laren had open toed shoes and a negative attitude and messed up our taps twice and no idea how to make basic drinks.She let everyone behind the bar, very unsanitary during Covid. Don’t plan on ever going back!

Just have junk food. It's a full bar as far as I can tell. They have chips and alcohol. Pool tables that are decent and the staff is good 👍 👌 😀...lol I have driven back just to get another 👕 with the Hard Luck Saloon logo on it. Loved my weekly experiences there. Plan on more now that I'm back around...

Standard local bar. There are a few domestic beers on tap (plus Modelo), snacks and frozen pizza. Pictures are still fairly accurate, some newer gambling machines. Still has two pool tables and one dart machine.

Only go there to see Candy n Julie. The owners do not socialize with customers. Come in drunk and verbally abuses their bartenders.

Went here tonight to hang out with friends. The bartender Julie is awesome. So are the other bartenders Tarah and Candy!!! But, if it weren't for the owners Ernie and Cathy the place wouldn't be as cozy and comfortable as it is!! This is my home away from home.

I have known the owner here for quite some time. Not only does he serve the coldest beer around, he is an absolute pleasure to do business with! Thanks again Ernie for all that you do!

Great night out. Drinks were awesome. Bartenders are awesome and dj aries for karaoke awesome. Weekends here are always great. Being your party!
