Just enjoyed a great time at this beautiful hotel overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and Mount Vesuvius. The staff went out of their way to make sure that you felt welcome, and were comfortable. A special shout out to Rosa, who took the time to give us recommendations, make reservations and do everything to make our trip memorable.

On October 10th of 2025 Samantha and I were married at the Bellevue Syrene Hotel. We could not have asked for a more magical and memorable day. It truelly was the best day of our lives. This was all made possible through the amazing help from Angelo and Chiara. Throughout the whole planning process Angelo kept telling us not to worry, that everything was under control. He could not have been more correct. Our special day was flawless, perfect in every way. Angelo and Chiara ensured that every request was met, regardless of how last minute or large they were. They even picked up on aspects that we completely forgot about! I was amazed at the service provided by the entire venue. From the doormen staff to the valletting service, reception, kitchen staff and servers. Everyone went above and beyond for us. I would like to thank Angelo and Chiara personally for everything they did for Sam and I. This was truly the best day of our lives and you both made that possible. Thank you, Andrew

Rooms were very clean, staff friendly and very helpful. Location was beautiful! The food however was just ok. The breakfast was fine. We had dinner at the restaurant and we weren’t very impressed with any of the food nor how it was prepared. They took our order wrong for our pasta dish and the person who took our order never came over to apologize for his error. But nonetheless it was beautiful scenery.

Had the best time getting dinner and drinks. The views here of the sunset are the absolute best in Sorrento. We were also lucky enough to catch some fireworks😊 Special shout out to Roberto, the front gate keeper for helping us get the perfect table for a booking at the last minute!!

You couldn’t ask for a better experience in Sorrento! Everyone we talked to locally said this is the best hotel, and we totally agree! Views are amazing, the location is perfect, the service is top notch, and every detail in the design and the overall experience is so well thought-out. I have to give a special shout out to Roberto, the “gate keeper” who helped us when we pulled up, to Roberta who was the friendly smiling face always there to help, to Venessa who is one of the most pleasant and helpful people you’ll ever meet! All Made us feel right at home. Can’t wait to go back!

We had dinner last night at the restaurant. The property and setting are amazing. We were 45 minutes early for our reservation and planned to go to the bar for a drink. We were told our table was ready early and were asked would we like to be seated early which we did. I know the dinner is to be relaxing but the service was inattentive and slow. We had to ask twice to order cocktails for the entire table. The restaurant was not busy. The kitchen was very slow and it was midnight before we finished secondi. We decided not to order dessert due to the slow service. My friend from Italy tried to help move the service along but to no avail. The setting is certainly worthy of a Michelin 5 star but the service and food were not. My Italian friend and my girlfriend both sent their grilled Octopus back as it was tough. I had been looking forward to this dinner for weeks as a friend recommended the restaurant. I left extremely disappointed.

Beautiful classic Hotel! Very friendly and accommodating staff. Great location with an amazing view. Shout Out to Marcelo at the Terrace Restaurant/Snack Bar. This was anything but a snack bar. Delicious pasta and other selections. Marcelo was attentive and so accommodating. Bravo!! Only negative of the stay and not really a major negative but if you’re tall, you might have a little issue getting under the shower head in the room. Great stay and definitely would come back when visiting Sorrento again.

Simply put: if you value a view at $900 a night then this place is for you. Other than that, it is immensely overpriced. For $900 a night they cannot even provide you water, which is standard for almost every hotel. The showers are tiny, you can barely move. The view is beautiful, but the hotel itself is very old. The elevators didn’t work half the time. Their main investment is their garden. The proper price point per night would be $500-$600 a night in my opinion.

This hotel is well known for its view as it's right on the cliff edge and in the centre of Sorrento. The views from the bar terrace, particularly at sunset, are amazing as you see the sea and Naples without any obstruction. However rooms are over priced and hotel is overrated. For example price you pay per night £500 is too expensive for this hotel. Rooms are quite old and not soundproof. I wasn't happy with breakfast at all. Very basic breakfast and you need to pay for something decent including fresh juice. For the first time I have seen a 4 star hotel where they charge you for a fresh juice in breakfast. Overall, it's a good hotel in terms of view and location but definitely overpriced. Pros: - Amazing panoramic views of the coast - Good location for ferries and walking distance to the town - ‘Tony’ the bell man was very helpful especially changing our room since it was very small and always spoke to us and make sure our stay was enjoyable. He was amazing! - Beach access Cons: - Breakfast was limited and was the same each morning. Not much hot food selection and disliked having to pay extra from a menu for hot food when paying a lot of money - No kettle or cups in room, 4 star hotels shoud have this in rooms. I personally like to have a cup of tea in my room at my leisure than depending on room service incurring extra costs - Quite an old hotel that would benefit from refurbishment it looks tired, scary and had an odour. - Not pram or wheelchair friendly lots of steps especially getting to the outdoor restaurant - No heating in room only air conditioning room was rather cold having to use blankets on bed to keep warm - Paying to use beach considering we were guests at hotel

We celebrated a birthday dinner at the restaurant in this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent, and the view from both the bar and the restaurant was absolutely stunning. I especially want to highlight the outstanding service—truly exceptional. A special thanks to Manager Mauricio for making the evening so memorable. Thank you for such a beautiful night!

I would give this hotel 6 stars out of 5 if I could. It was amazing! My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon, and we would not change a thing. We booked an ocean-view room, and the view and balcony were incredible. The service was very good, and we did not have issues with any language barriers (we are from the USA). The location, right in Sorrento, cannot be beat. The food (breakfast, dinner) was top-notch. We booked excursions and transfers through the hotel, which was very convenient and helpful. It also does not feel crowded in the hotel, even though we went during the peak month of August; it was on the quieter side, which was nice. We hope to go back one day. Molto bene!

First of all the location is amazing. 5-10 minutes walk from everything needed. The view from the rooms is amazing. But. The hotel needs a bit of renovation. There are no kettle or coffee machine in the rooms. But most importantly, they don’t provide any water. We arrived at the hotel around midnight. Luckily the bar was still open so we managed to get some bottles of water. All together it was excellent, but for 1000$ a night you should get a bit more. Sorry

Fabulous time in this beautiful hotel from the 19th century. Perhaps the best view in all Sorrento, including from the sea-faced rooms (100% worth it), but also a nice garden swimming pool, a great bar and a superb restaurant, and a wonderful staff, always caring and smiling. 5-star experience, and perhaps the best quality-price ratio of all the Amalfi Coast.

Hotel Ascot was the only relief as a tourist for us during our 10 day trip to Italy. Nice location, 15 min walk from Sorrento station. Easy access to public transport, Walking distance to most port & tourist place. Staff are wonderful & helpful. Their dinner menu was awesome.

Great location in the heart of it all but expect lots of noise from vehicles, especially scooters, and ambulances from the hospital across the road. The pool is great for cooling down on hot days. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the ladies. Housekeeping did a great job of keeping our room tidy on a daily basis. Nice bar and garden to sit in. Our room was a good size with a small fridge. The shower cubicle was quite small and the shower head sent water out in all directions but the water pressure was OK. A good hotel if you want easy access to the main squares, shopping and transport links. An easy walk to the marinas too. Good choice of restaurants close by.

This is a lovely hotel, staff are very friendly, food selection is great, courtyard area well kept and lovely to sit in, there is traffic noise but that is to expected due to the great location in heart of sorrento where everything is very accessible. . ..if I had a complaint and it's only a small one , the rooms a little dated and need a new paint job.....but very clean. . Would recommend and return.

Nice place. The rooms need a make over, especially the bathroom. The showers are really small and not good at all. You could fit much bigger and nicer one as the bathroom was actually a decent size.

We had an excellent 10 night stay in the Ascot hotel. Our room was spacious with a lovely balcony. We were bed & breakfast the choice & quality at breakfast was spot on. The hotel is well ran, very clean & the staff are lovely.

Brilliant hotel, very central. Spotless clean and friendly staff. Lots of selection at breakfast too. We went in May so the pool was open which my 6 year old loved. Highly recommended.

The hotel has not been updated in 60 years. That's it's charm! Rooms are larger than norm on the Garden Level, the bed was definitely not comfortable, but there was a large tub. The breakfast service was good. But the notion of veg and vegan offerings at breakfast could stand a refresh and expansion if the stated offer is to be taken seriously. Service was good. Cleaning staff managed rooms daily. Front desk was responsive and helpful with booking transportation around Sorrento. Front desk helped us book our private car to the airport.

We stayed 4 nights at Hotel Desiree and loved it. Room #1 has fabulous views from the good sized balcony. The room itself was cute, cosy, and comfortable. The bathroom could do with bit of an upgrade but it was adequate. The breakfast which was included in our rate was fabulous 👌 an excellent variety of sweet and savoury and the serving lady was very friendly and helpful. All the staff were very helpful and generous with their service. Hotel Desiree is a 10 minute walk from Sorrento centre but the views at day and night are fabulous. Highly recommend Hotel Desiree 😍❤️😍

This is my second time staying in this hotel, and I really enjoy the location of it besides the long walk up hill. I especially like how they have an elevator down to the private beach area. Breakfast is good, they have a variety of things. The only thing I can never get over is the rock solid beds, especially as someone with back pain. Other than that it’s a great hotel. They have an iron upon request which is also great. Edit: I found some green and black mold growing on the ceilings in the bedroom and mainly in the bathroom above the showers which is not great as it’s a health risk. I don’t remember seeing any the last year i was here but I never looked at the ceiling. I meant to tell a staff member but had to rush out in the morning for my train…

We stayed here for 4 nights as part of our honeymoon. The view from the room was great and it was a quiet location a short walk into the main downtown region of sorrento. The breakfast included was prepared by Annamaria and was amazing every morning and a great way to start the day. Loved our time in sorrento

I'm not one for emotional reviews, but I'll make an exception; My feeling of walking into our room here was one of nostalgia. It wasn't walking into a hotel, it was walking into a Nona's house from my childhood, welcoming, well worn, tidy and fastidiously clean. The view from the balcony was phenomenal, my girlfriend and I spent every evening reading and listening to the sound of the waterfall. The private beach wasn't cheap - €24 per person with the hotel discount, but it was peaceful and tidy. The included breakfast was better than I've received at more expensive hotels.

Fantastic hotel on outskirts of Sorrento. Rooms very clean and stuck in 1970's style but this added to the charm and appeal. Lovely roof terrace overlooking sea and surroundings with access to private beach with charming gardens and a lift. Adjacent restaurant in Hotel La Tonnarella was 5 stars (bloody pricey but delicious and worth a treat). So romantic a setting, you just enjoy it.

We had a fantastic stay! A great location. 10-15 min walk into town. We made the walk a couple of times each day. The view from our room was stunning! It was chilly for the beach, so we spent several hours enjoying the solarium. The staff was so friendly. Always ready to help, extra towels, directions, dining recommendations, ins and outs of the bus. Highly recommend staying at Hotel Desiree.

Stayed here for my honeymoon! The view from our balcony and the restaurant was breath taking. The staff were friendly and attentive. Giuseppe, the restaurant host in particular was a joy to be around. The 3 course meal every night was great, although we were often full by the appetiser.

We couldn’t recommend Hotel Minerva more- we enjoyed a 10 night break and were able to fully switch off due to being looked after by the team so well. Everyone was so helpful and there to provide the personal touch. The restaurant and bar team were fantastic, as were housekeeping and the reception desk. The hotel itself is beautiful with the most amazing views of the bay, including from the balcony rooms and the pool on the roof terrace. The location is ideal to visit the Amalfi coast, Pompeii, and Capri. It’s a short 15 minute walk into the centre of Sorrento and 25 minutes from the ferry port, train & bus station. Public transport was manageable but be prepared to wait- the buses and trains were busy in May and the timetables were loosely followed! Thanks again to Hotel Minerva for such a wonderful stay, we will be back!

We spent an amazing time at the hotel Minerva. The hotel is charming and well maintained, the view is spectacular, the food is devine. We went multiple times in Sorrento to eat but I must say that the hotel diners were better, and the staff makes you feel home and special. The service is great quality and I cannot recommend enough this hotel.

What an extraordinary location! Fresh-cut flowers everywhere, magnificent views, and a great pool. So central and convenient. The beds and shower were super comfortable—everything was perfect!

Overall the hotel is really nice and clean. Leaving one star because the hospitality was horrible. The older gentlemen that works at the front desk isn’t friendly at all and neither is the bar tender. They offered little to no help navigating Sorrento. Were very rude when asking for a taxi.

Hotel Minerva in Sorrento is a great Hote, one of the best I’ve visited !! Situated on a cliff top above the town, ports and bay. Every porch seating (each room has a porch!!), either for dining or just relaxing, is an amazing experience. Each and every one of the staff of the hotel are superb. So helpful and kind. Highly recommended for a great vacation in Sorrento!

Loved our stay at the Minerva ! Perfect location to explore the area and to then return for some relaxation following long hot days. The roof top pool with view is out of this world. The food was excellent every day. All the staff without exception were absolutely amazing. Special mention for Guiseppe who runs the restaurant with such love and dedication and to Antonio for his alcohol free cocktails . We booked excursions through the hotel prior to arriving and enjoyed each one. My only suggestion would be to stock some alcohol free Prosecco for those of us who cannot drink and like to enjoy wine with dinner ! Thank you all at Minerva

This hotel in Sorrento is amazing. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. Each room has a balcony that adds a fantastic touch. The daily buffet breakfast is fresh and wonderful. The Forte of this hotel is the staff.The reception front office staff are amazing. A very special mention to Valeria, Claudio Sebastiano Ines Valentina. Raffaele the restaurant host takes great care of his guests. Maria Carmela from house keeping were fabulous 👌 We recommend this hotel VERY highly

We stayed at Hotel Cesare Augusto while in Sorrento, Italy. I was skeptical at first to book here since it was outside the old town, but when we got there, I was completely surprised at how close the hotel was to the main town, approximately 5 minutes from the elevator or stairs that would take you to Sorrento beach and port. We booked a room with a sea view balcony. We found our room spacious and clean. The hotel serves a sumptuous buffet breakfast in the main dining room. We had a lovely stay here. The staff are helpful and friendly. The hotel is walking distance to many restaurants and close to the port if you are planning on island hopping. This hotel is highly recommended!

Our stay at the Grand Hotel Cesare Augusto was truly amazing! This hotel is a fantastic place to stay right in the heart of Sorrento. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing and peaceful vacation. We were absolutely thrilled with the amenities, especially the rooftop pool and bar. The views were breathtaking and it was the ideal place to unwind and soak up the sun. The morning breakfast was also a highlight—delicious with plenty of options to start the day off right. The only minor hiccup was not having an iron available in our room, but we were very pleased to find out that a stationary iron was available for guests to use downstairs. It was a convenient solution that we really appreciated. Overall, our experience was wonderful. We're so glad we chose to stay here and we highly recommend the Grand Hotel Cesare Augusto if you're looking for a great hotel in the city.

Would be 5 Stars had they not called me out for having a water bottle in the lobby after a long day in Pompeii. In the room itself the bed wasn’t very comfortable and our first night the electricity wasn’t working in most of the room and bathroom. It was promptly repaired though. The location of the hotel however is perfect and the breakfast was good. The back entrance is also a very convenient way to access the property.

This is a very good hotel. The rooms are big and nice. The service is very kind and helpful. We had dinner for 20 people in the restaurant outside and i must say it was very incredible experience. Also all the area of the hotel is very convenient for groups, terrace with bar and pool, garden, conference room. Very very nice hotel 😊

Exemplary hotel staff. Very accommodating and helpful. My Italian is nil except for a few phrases so I appreciate that they understand enough English to assist me. The rooftop is lovely to relax with a refreshing drink, especially in the evening when the sun has rested. Nice buffet breakfast as well from 7-10am

I had a lovely experience at *Grand Hotel Cesare Augusto* in Sorrento. The location is unbeatable—right near the train station and town center. The room was clean and spacious, and the rooftop pool offered beautiful views of the area. The *reception staff* were always warm and helpful, offering great tips for local activities. Great value and a great base for exploring the amalfi coast.

Nestled in lemon groves and olive trees in the hills overlooking the bay of Sorrento and unbelievable views across the bay to Vesuvius itself, it was a joy to behold every morning from our extremely well appointed room. My wife and I visited in June- July to celebrate my 75th birthday. A long cherished ambition to visit Pompei and Capri. The reception staff recommended local companies for various trips- Pompei, Herculaneum, Amalfi, Positano and Capri and booked them for us. Thank you. We booked half board and had the option of swapping dinner for lunch if we were going out for the evening. We checked in after 11pm and were very pleasantly surprised to find a cold platter awaiting us in our room. Thank you catering staff. The food was varied and excellent for every meal and we were ably served mainly by Giovanni throughout our stay. Enjoy your retirement. In the bar Michael looked after our every need and the verandah bar had stunning views in the evening as the sun set outlining Vesuvius to its' majestic best. On one notable evening there was an electrical storm over the volcano and with a little imagination you could see Pompei as it erupted. I could go on but it's best if you just visit for yourself. We are returning in 2027 for my wife's big birthday. I apologise for the delay in posting this review but there is so much I wanted to say and can't get it all in.

Have just spent a glorious 7 nights at this beautiful hotel in Sorrento it was our second stay there and will definitely be returning again next year. Out of all the hotels we have stayed at in Sorrento this is definitely by far the best. The staff are impeccable and nothing is too much trouble for them. A special mention must be made to Roberto who is the Maitre D both he and his staff are second to none very pleasant chatty and caring. The food at this hotel is wonderful and if you do not like what is on the menu then you can ask for something that is more suitable for you. This hotel should be rated 6 star for its staff alone. Can't wait to see them all again next year.

Had an amazing week here with hubby and friends. The hotel is amazing. Rooms are big bright and very clean. Staff clean the rooms daily which is a treat. Food is amazing we were half board worth every penny. Had intended eating in town sometimes but chose to eat at hotel every night as food was so good. Prices at hotel are really reasonable which was a nice surprise. The staff what can I say so welcoming and friendly. Special mention to Gaetano, Brixton and Lorenzo who all took good care of us made our holiday. Reception staff also brilliant speak to them before you book ANY tours with your tour guide. Would definitely recommend this hotel it may be a bit out of town but the courtesy bus is excellent for getting back and forward. The views from the hotel are amazing. Just superb in every way. As usual it's the staff that make a business and the staff at this hotel were brilliant (Brixton deserves a special mention). Always ready with a smile and a hello and always obliging. The hotel internal decor is of a very high standard. The marble work to the floors and pillars just beautiful. The chandelier in the di ing room is massive. There's marquetry to every guest room door with the room number picked out in the floor tiles - quite exceptional. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and spacious. The view to Mount Vesuvious from the terrace is enviable and you can never tire of it. The dining room is excellent with tables covered in linen table cloths and linen napkins. The dining staff, as with all the hotel staff in smart and immaculate uniforms. Food is very good and plentiful. Rooms are spacious with spacious bathrooms. And each room does have a bath and not just a shower. The hotel runs a shuttle coach each hour to the town centre and back so there's no need to walk into town in the heat. The pool is very large and again kept spotless and there are lovely gardens to sit relax in. The whole venue is perfect for a wonderful holiday. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay so memorable.

Absolutely fabulous hotel. Seaview room. Staff amazing. Spotlessly clean. Shuttle bus so convenient for going to Sorrento town. Food outstanding. The staff work tirelessly and always with a smile. Room 345 has fab view over bay. Gardens are kept clean and lots of quiet places to relax

This Hotel is a short way out of the town of Sorrento, who run a shuttle bus all day, each way into Sorrento, so getting there is not a problem, on arrival we were given a balcony room at the rear of the hotel , perfectly fine, but I requested a room overlooking the Bay of Naples , we were offered one at an extra charge, fine by me us, and moved , what a delight to waken overlooking the Bay of Naples & Vesuvius, I'd read some reviews about the , not being the best, but not from us, we tried different menus, and enjoyed it all. The hotel is perfectly clean , and the staff we couldn't fault, the entertainment on a night could have been a bit more upbeat, all in all we loved Hotel Vesuvio.

Loved this hotel for its location. Staff are amazing. Wasn't to happy with tje evening meal as it was a set menu. One other guest summed it up with, its a bit school dinner like. Other than that it's perfect and I will definitely return.

Stayed in October 2025 with TUI. The hotel is well situated just a few metres from Corso Italia the main area for shops. Inside the hotel is well decorated, immaculately clean and very peaceful despite being on a main road. Entrance is via a tunnel…which is large and bright. Luggage is taken up by electric cart (and you can be too). I understand the swimming pool is pretty cold but we went to tour not swim. All the staff are polite and helpful. Good selection at breakfast, dinner has a good choice although invariably you end up with a Bitsa meal (bit of this, bit of that). Many companies offer sightseeing trips and if you can go with TUI I’d advise it. You may pay a little more but they are well organised with good guides and importantly for this area excellent drivers. Sorrento is lovely and Conca Park a great choice.

Large modern hotel with a lovely garden and pool area. Rooms are spacious and well laid out. The view from our room was fantastic. We could however hear people in the corridors & using the lift at all times. Breakfast buffet is good, lots of options including an egg station. The gym is good, it has half a dozen modern technology machines as well as free weights. The spa appeared closed when we tried to use it and there is no indoor pool. Amazing location, 2 mins to the main streets of Sorrento, 15 mins to the Port or Train station.. We would recommend this hotel.

We recently spent a week in the Conca Park and were disappointed with it. On the plus side, it is in a great location. It’s very central and close to shops and restaurants. The general hotel areas were well kept, spacious and clean. However, we were very disappointed with our room. It had a lot of scuffs on the wall, mould on the shower screen and the shower itself was very tired. There was no fan in the bathroom so our towels were always musty and damp. The meals were all self service. Breakfast was fine, although the coffee was from a machine and undrinkable. Thankfully, we bought our own fruit teabags. We stayed half board so our evening meals were included. We are vegetarian and there was plenty of choice of salads, pasta and pizza, but the main meals were very ordinary and did not provide decent vegetarian options. The Maitre D in the restaurant was very officious and asked us to remove our water bottles (which we had just filled from the communal hotel water fountain) from the table and put them on the floor! We were taking them up to our room to use after the meal, not to drink at the table, which I presume is what he had thought! Table water is charged at €3 per refillable bottle (just saying…!) Other people were seen with their water bottles at the table too but weren’t asked to remove theirs.

We stayed for five nights late October dinner b&b. We loved this hotel. Food was great, served on buffet basis but always top quality and fresh. Waiting staff we lovely (bar staff might want to take a few tips to up their game ;-) really loved the common spaces, art all over the place and super stylish with a mid century look (true to the hotels mid 1960s origins). Booked through TUI - great value all round. Would happily come back. Thanks all

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a week from 22-29 Sept. The hotel is really stylish yet cozy and there are modern art pieces displayed making it a special place to stay. Service and organisation is second to none. I have never been to a hotel with a really busy restaurant yet there was never anyone waiting as there were contingency steps in place, all staff worked efficiently with the highest of standards. The food is excellent quality, and hot, with good quality wines. It is the first sustainable hotel in Italy since 2013, this company care about the environment and have made great changes to the hotel, improving it over the years. I only gave 3 stars for rooms as some are a little dark due to the Cliff, yet some people were happy with this. I would recommend being very specific what you like in a room, we were given a different room 2 days later and it was perfect. Location of this hotel couldn’t be better. Pool area is large with relaxing sofas and chairs again all beautifully clean and maintained. I have no hesitation booking here again.

From start to finish, the experience was absolutely flawless. Matteo and Michael were amazing — nothing was ever too much trouble, and their attention to detail and warm hospitality made everything run perfectly. We had over 60 of our guests staying at the hotel, and every single one of them commented on how beautiful the place was, how comfortable the rooms were, and how fantastic the staff made them feel. The service, food, and atmosphere were all exceptional — it truly felt like a five-star experience from start to finish. Thank you so much to the whole team for helping make our wedding weekend unforgettable. We’ll be recommending this hotel to everyone we know and can’t wait to come back. We also stayed 3 nights in the 007 suite, this is by far the best room in sorrento !!! It's amazing and also some of our guests stayed in the other suites with hot tubs, they also said they were outstanding too !!!

I had a great week at this gorgeous, stylish, arty hotel. The decor and furniture in the public area is amazing and makes you feel like you’re staying at a very wealthy relatives home. The gardens and pool area are great. It’s amazing what is there in such a small space above Sorrento. All the staff were excellent, so friendly, helpful and professional. I found the food excellent. I don’t think I saw the same dish twice on the evening buffet, all fresh and tasted like good home cooked Italian food. The hotel is ideally located for easily walking down in Sorrento itself, down to the beach and the port for ferries to visit the islands.

Planning our trip to the Amalfi Coast we knew we wanted a hotel right on the coast. This place was the perfect one. Great location in Sorrento. Amazing ocean views from the property and our hotel room. The pool and the beach are definitely the highlight. The pool has a really great deep end with a platform and some really good shallow ends for kids. It’s huge! The beach lagoon is perfect for swimming, especially for families. Beach chairs and umbrellas are provided. Couldn’t have asked for better service either. So friendly. You can also walk to many great restaurants and shops nearby or use the hotels free shuttle to the city center. Oh and a great breakfast too!

This is definitely not a 5 star hotel. The location was very good for Sorrento, however the hotel, food and most of the staff let it down. The decor is unwelcoming, cold and almost clinical. The views were lovely and the garden area very green but this hotel lacked warmth, personality and any feel of luxury which you would expect given the 5 star rating. The bar area was shocking and lacked atmosphere. It is also a health and safety nightmare as all flooring is tiled including the balconies. It had rained during our 3rd day but because there was no roof to the balcony the tiles got wet and you couldn't see that it had rained. As a result my friend slipped and twisted her knee/leg very badly. There should be some kind of warning should the floor get wet. When ringing down to reception and asking for a bandage to strap the leg, we were told they didn't have such things. There lack of consideration was extremely poor. They suggested if it was that bad to go to the hospital but without any aid or assistance from them. When it came to the food, the staff really need to be conscious of peoples allergies/intolerances and should explain exactly what they are serving instead of just plonking food down. All in all the hotel was very disappointing.

Beautiful hotel reflecting a 1960s design. Architecture was fabulous and the hotel beautiful. Very clean, beautiful beach area and pool. Staff very nice, especially the housekeeping staff. Views exceptional! Gardens lovely. We enjoyed our view of Vesuvius and the daily boats in the harbor very much. Breakfast was satisfying, however lacked excitement, with the same layout daily and no new options - egg buffet always cold. Overall a nice hotel experience in Sorrento and we enjoyed our stay and our excursions.

We had such a great stay at Hotel Parco dei Principi. The views are incredible, and the complimentary champagne on arrival was a really nice touch. The private beach is beautiful with crystal clear water, and I loved starting each morning with such an amazing view. The shuttle was super easy to use and made getting to the center very convenient. The staff were always kind and helpful, which made the whole experience even better. I’d definitely stay here again.

Fantastic place to start your experience in Sorrento . Top notch service beautiful hotel and a breathtaking view from your rooms. The waiters to the servers were more than pleasant and accommodating. Disappointed Stay – Beautiful Views, Poor Service We recently stayed at this hotel for three nights, spending well over $2,000, and unfortunately, our experience was far from what we expected at this price point. Our room was situated directly below the dining area, and every night was filled with the sound of chairs scraping across the floor above us. It made getting any rest incredibly difficult. It’s baffling that a hotel of this caliber wouldn’t consider proper soundproofing or at least avoid placing guests in such a noisy location. The beach staff experience was even more disappointing. One server took away a drink we were still enjoying, insisting it was “bone dry” when it clearly wasn’t. He offered to replace it but then vanished for over an hour. Another staff member eventually brought us a new one—only to charge us again. The lack of accountability and basic courtesy was surprising and frustrating. Then there was the laundry. We were charged over $200, only to have our clothes returned smelling like dirty socks. When we brought this (and our other concerns) to the front desk, the response we received was shockingly dismissive. The staff member, who lacked any real sense of hospitality, simply said, “Should’ve told us sooner,” as though that somehow excused the situation. After two amazing weeks traveling throughout Italy, this hotel was a disheartening final stop. Yes, the views are beautiful—but views alone don’t make up for poor service, rude staff, and a complete lack of accountability. We expected far better. Reached out to our credit card company to try and help us resolve this issue, only to be informed they need to speak with the hotels manager who was no where to be found today.

Our stay at Parco dei Principi was a huge disappointment. The first room had black mold in the vents, which made my daughter and me sick. The hotel brushed it off as “humidity” and didn’t move us until i showed them pictures of the moldy vents—two days later!! In the new room, none of the showers worked and the only water available was scalding hot. My family of five couldn’t even bathe that night. Beyond that: the pool was dirty and often closed for no reason(light rain?!), furniture and rugs were worn and filthy, and the bathrooms badly need cleaning and resealing. This is nowhere near 5-star quality. Worst of all, after weeks of back-and-forth, the hotel refunded less than they promised, shorting us over €130. If this is how they handle guests after a terrible stay, it says everything. The breakfast staff and Blu Bar bartender were wonderful, but they don’t make up for a property that is unsafe, poorly maintained, and dismissive of guests. There are far better hotels in Sorrento—avoid this one.

One of my family members actually stayed here before and told us about the view from the bar. It was our last night here in Sorrento as a whole family so we gathered for a few drinks. They had a pianist playing some beautiful music that fit quite well with the nightly atmosphere. The drinks were perfect for just relaxing with friends or family.

My husband and I stayed here for our baby moon during September. The staff was 10/10, the room was stunning, the view was incredible, breakfast buffet had everything you can think of and was served at the most beautiful room with a talented live pianist. The marina was right by us, we just had to go down an elevator. Plenty of beautiful stores and restaurants to check out around the hotel. The concierges were also very helpful helping us schedule last minute cooking class and recommending activities.

My wife and I ended our honeymoon with a stay at the Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria, and it was the best way to end an unforgettable trip. This was one of the most beautiful places we have ever been - the entire hotel and all of its facilities are completely top tier. The staff went above and beyond making my wife and I feel special for our stay, including an upgrade to an incredible cliff side room with a balcony over the coast. The food selection at this property was also great, including both high end and more casual options. We can’t wait to be back.

After spending a week here I can say without reservation that this hotel is perfectly located to discover Sorrento. The views are stunning. The atmosphere is mostly chilled. The pool is excellent. My only one star off a five would be the food. A touch over priced for the quality but nice enough to eat if the hill and regular shuttle to the town is not on the cards. I will say however that the pizza is not up to the standard expected for the area... it looks great, but falls short of the mark. The rooms are clean and spacious, the staff are super friendly and helpful and the evening vibe is chilled. Definitely a romantic getaway and a great choice as a spring board to see the fabulous Amalfi scenery 😀

The location of this hotel looks nice from the pictures, but it isn't very easy to get to, especially outside of the shuttle hours. It is a decent hike up to from the beach. The rooms are nice, but the service is very poor. They won't go out of their way to help you and if their rooms aren't ready they will bait and switch you to take something else. There are plenty of nice places to stay closer to the beach!

A really nice hotel with great staff who were all extremely helpful. The choice of food in the restaurant needs a but of change as the choice was limited for those like me who do not eat red meat. The hotel is high up in the hills, so the views are stunning. The hotel operates a free shuttle service to the main area which works well. All services are charged to your room- no cash is taken for drinks etc, although I understand that you can submit your receipts each day and pay in cash/ card to reception. Tourist tax was added to the bill when checking out. There is lots of modern art around the hotel which is interesting, although I don't really understand it. There are lits of sunbeds and umbrellas, and unusually no towels out early on a morning. The sun lounge towels supplied by the hotel are really long. Overall a really nice hotel

A lovely smallish hotel with simple rooms and a wonderful setting overlooking Sorrento. A frequent courtesy bus to take you into the centre of Sorrento. A lovely sun terrace and pool and an excellent restaurant serving Italian classical food. With views to did for this is definitely a hidden gem.

This is an amazing hotel. I can't wait to return My friend and I visited in August 2025. The hotel and the rooms are spotlessly clean. Our room cleaner Rosa was brilliant. All the staff are super helpful. Reception were helpful and polite . The restaurant staff work so hard and they are so helpful and always smiling. They along with the bar staff go above and beyond. The bar staff Michele, Carlo, Enrico and nana were great fun and looked after us. The spa and treatments they offer are great. And Gemma the therapist is brilliant and hope when I return next year she is still there. We made great use of the shuttle service and its a great extra. The pool and the views really make this place. Can't wait to return next year. We will definitely be back next August.

-Great for solo traveling -Has shuttle service but stops running after a certain time. -Amazing views -We arrived late, and the front desk opened the spa area just for us. I see the reviews mentioning not so great customer service but I have 0 complaints -Visited in the cooler months so that is why the pool isn't open -The bar ambiance/seating is quite romantic as it overlooks the pool. You could easily sit there cozied up with your loved one and get lost in conversation.

I want to highlight a very concerning experience. A booking appeared under my account (screenshot attached) even though I never made this reservation, and the card details shown do not belong to me. Despite contacting both Booking.com customer support and the hotel directly, I received no response at all. The booking was set for September 4–5, and now I even see an option to leave a review, which makes it even stranger since I never stayed at this property. This raises serious questions about the security of the platform and the lack of accountability from both the hotel and Booking.com when issues like this are reported. I expect such a well-known platform to ensure better customer protection, prompt responses to serious concerns, and transparency in resolving such cases. Unfortunately, this experience has left me disappointed and very cautious about using Booking.com in the future.

We had a lovely stay here this week whilst over in Sorrento for a family wedding. The hotel, location and services were wonderful but expensive - the dinner for 5 people and a bottle of wine (1 of these was a starter as a meal) was over €200. Food was absolutely delicious and there was a great variety. My mum stayed in a double room (308) which was underneath the restaurant upstairs. She was woken up every morning by banging and chairs being dragged across the floor. The other two twin rooms in the other side of floor 3 were absolutely fine though! Staff were wonderful and couldn’t do anymore for you. We would recommend, just bring lots of spending money!!

Wow! Hotel Regina Sorrento is a class act! We stayed at this hotel to attend a family wedding in Sorrento and we could not be happier! The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. This hotel also had one of the best quality breakfast I had in any hotel in Italy I have stayed at, accompanied by a beautiful view!

There are not enough positive words to express how amazing my experience was as at Hotel Regina. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful. Everyone is very friendly. The location is perfect. You have a perfect view of Mt Vesuvius and the water. It is very walkable to piazzas, shops, restaurants, and to the port. The restaurant is excellent and the rooftop bar is beautiful. The rooms are very clean and come equipped with everything you need. I would absolutely recommend this location to anyone visiting Sorrento.

If you’re looking for a centrally located hotel with unrestricted views across to Naples then look no further. Hotel Regina is simply amazing in all respects, the staff are super friendly and make you feel very welcome. Bedrooms are a good size with a really comfortable beds. Breakfast is buffet style with tastes for everybody and served on floor 4 offering unforgettable views across the bay.

My wife and I stayed here at the Regina Hotel from the 22nd - 27th of June 2025, and we were extremely happy with service, the staff and the hotel itself. The hotel was exceptionally clean, the staff were always happy to assist us in any way and the breakfast, well, that speaks for itself. The food was beautiful as well as the sea view. Just beautiful. We stayed in this hotel 10 years ago, and came back again. The balcony pool view room was gorgeous, overlooking the pool down below. The position of the hotel was very central to everything. We'd like to thank the management and the staff for taking care of us during our stay. We highly recommend the Regina Hotel to anyone who's looking for a nice hotel. This hotel is in a perfect location just a few minutes walk to the marina and shopping areas/restauramts. The service waa outstanding and the buffet was one of the best I've ever had at a hotel with a breathtaking view..it even included mimosas! The pool area was lovely with lime trees surrounding. The only complaint I have is that the showers are a bit small, however I would definitely stay here when I return to Sorrento.

This was our final 5 days of our honeymoon. We’d booked a double balcony room well in advance and the room was nice. Needs an extra chair on one balcony so you can enjoy it as a couple but the front facing one was lovely. The pool was ok. Location was perfect! Breakfast was ok too but as other reviews had mentioned the coffee was awful! Instant for sure. What really it down was the service. We’d just spent two weeks all across southern Italy and had the most amazing welcomes and ongoing service. In this hotel they just could not be arsed. No one smiled. No one was happy to be there. It did not feel welcoming, everyone just seems like they just wanted to go home. That’s the only thing that let it down. Smile for god sake, we’re on holiday!!! Roof top bar was nice but dead.

Great hotel in Sorrento! You're just minutes away from the beach, shopping, and great food options. The room is spacious, with ample furniture storage, and the bathroom is larger than most European hotel bathrooms. The AC works great. My only complaint is that our hotel room is right outside the elevator and stairs, so people constantly hit our door and wake us up. On the bright side, they do have a nice pool and garden area where you can relax and have a drink. Despite the noise issue, we would stay here again.

Beautiful hotel in old town of sorrento. Location fantastic. Beautiful garden to sit in with a drink or breakfast or dinner. Bar service very reasonable prices. Rooms on the small size but well appointed and spotless. Breakfast a little chaotic and could be organised better for the self service flow. Bread/ roll choices could be improved for Breakfast. Would recommend thus hotel!

This is a hidden gem 😁 Really cosy and clean family driven hotel. Because it's right in the charming (and authentic) old part of Sorrento, you need to walk the last 100 meters from Piaza St. Antonino. So this is not a handicap friendly hotel, due to the placement, but this is the only minus. Also on a personal note (me being a "big" person, I felt accommodated with large chairs and big a shower).

Great small hotel, perfectly positioned if you want to be near the centre of things. Our room overlooked a busy street which was great go sit and watch while having a coffee on the balcony but wasn't too noisy at night. Breakfast had plenty of choice, staff were helpful and friendly. Small pool area but big enough for chilling after a busy day, and another outside relaxing area.

We stayed here for 3 nights. We really enjoyed how convenient the location was. It was literally a 5 mins walk from everything. Safe to say we enjoyed our stay. Staff was professional and polite. Rooms were clean. Only complaint was the thin bathroom walls made it weird to hear the conversations in The next room when using the bathroom. Pool and sundeck were s nice touch.

THIS IS AN URGENT MESSAGE FOR ANYONE WITH AN UPCOMING STAY AT THE ASTORIA IN 2025. There is MAJOR construction ongoing in the building. All day beginning at 730am there will be stone saws, hammering, drilling, and shouting. At no point will you be able to sleep or relax in your room after this time. The hotel is not currently suitable for guest accommodation but management gives no notice of this to guest before or upon their arrival and can provide no help in resolving or rectifying these issues. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Hotel Astoria has the charm of an Italian kiss! Its position in the heart of the old town of Sorento, its spotless rooms with beautiful Itallian tiles of white, blue and yellow (a region's trademark), its giardino with lemon, tangerine, vine and laurel, its trully delicious south Italian cuisine and most of all, its warm and friendly staff - make you feel you have finally arrived home to your family, your Italian cousins you didn't know you had! What a place! 5 minute walk to the piazza and 2 minute walk to the station. The facilities are excellent and everywhere is spotlessly clean. We're half board and the evening meals are superb as are the breakfasts. The waiters are super lovely! We would certainly consider coming back here as this hotel ticked all the boxes!

The breakfast was amazing, unfortunately, the rooms are small but very clean. Overall great stay. It’s very close to the train station, which makes it a perfect location. But at the same time, because of the location it doesn’t have great views. It has 2 pools, they close at around 6 pm, which is early. And both of them are small.

This hotel was a good option, more affordable than others, close to the heart of Sorrento. It was a 5 minute walk to the train station and an 8 minute walk to the downtown shopping district, however there were many stores and restaurants right outside the doorstep too. The rooms were comfortable with nice beds. My only complaint is that the walls are quite thin. We could hear people in the room beside us quite well. I could hear them getting ready in the bathroom and. Old hear their television.

We absolutely loved our stay at hotel Michelangelo! The location is prime. You can’t get any closer to the sorrento train terminal and the walk down to the marina is so beautiful and a peaceful walk that we enjoyed every day. The full service breakfast is wonderful and the staff are all so kind and attentive. The rooftop bar and views are really nice we enjoyed the beautiful views of the water and Mount Vesuvius with a class of wine many time. Would come back and stay in a heartbeat.

If you are coming here for the Jacuzzi don't bother. They dont heat it, and will gaslight you to think that a jacuzzi is supposed to be cold. Other than that, the kitchen staff were great, the room was clean but every room only accommodating for two people including only two chairs on the small balcony.

Great location in the centre of Sorrento the hotel staff are all very friendly and helpful the rooms are a good size but appear a little dated but you're not there for the rooms. The rooftop bar Staff were great but all of them were great. Would definitely recommend.

A very nice hotel . Location is very good. Near the center. The staff are very nice and helpful. Breakfast is good with several choices. The omelet is a bit too wet but for each its own taste. We got the room just above the entrance with a balcony facing the main road . The room was a bit noisy (from the bar on the side, not traffic) but not so terrible. We needed to ask each day for toilet paper and soap/shampoo and did not understand why. It is a 4 stars hotel, please add some every day and be a bit generous. There is parking available with a reasonable price 20Eu p.day which goes up in May to 25Eu . We started in April and they were ok and gave us only the lower price. All in all a nice hotel - recommended.

The rooms were big! Beautiful view of the ocean and the mountain. Spacious layout with comfy beds and a big bathroom/shower. Front desk was very helpful. Walking distance to lots of things, but easy to get a taxi through the front desk. The pool was big too!

Fantastic Stay Near the City Centre – Warm Staff and Immaculate Rooms I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would gladly return. The location is perfect – just a short walk from the city centre, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and well-maintained. You can tell that cleanliness is a top priority here – everything felt fresh and inviting. What truly made the experience special, however, was the staff. A big thank you to Bianca, Peppe, Maria, and Nicola, who were all exceptionally welcoming, helpful, and professional. They went out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean, friendly, and centrally located place to stay!

Lovely hotel. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Shower had ample water pressure. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful (with a wide variety of pastries). Handy to the train and bus station - and a walkable distance to the port. The nearby restaurants are fantastic. It’s only 1km from the shopping district.

How they have four star status I cannot explain. If you don't pay twice the amount of the regular room you get a room in an old run down part of the building. Clogged drainage, smaller room then described on their website and no soundproofing so you might as well sleep on the busy street below. No earplugs provided on behalf of the hotel. Advertised "amazing breakfast" is mediocre at best. The breakfast area and staff are not meant to service the volume they have housed in the hotel. In general if you are looking for a good value for the money this is not the place. There are certainly better options in the Sorrento area.

We are very disappointed with the hotel. We booked the room a few weeks before, then a war started in our country which was not under our control, and it was not possible to fly to any country. We asked the owner to consider the situation and give us a credit for another date, or to charge us only half the amount. They were very strict and did not understand our situation. I will never book this place that's for sure. Other hotels around the world understood the situation and did not charge guests a cancellation fee.

Probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The card sensor wasn't working, so we had to change to a different room. You can hear the elevator going up and down all day. The window in our room was broken, wouldn't lock and shut. The WORST part was, we can use our key to open different rooms. What kind of hotel will give out keys that can open multiple guest room. Not to mention, the front desk doesn't look like they know what they are doing. Everytime we are heading out, will take them 5 minutes to find our car key. Oh... And the room looks nothing like the pictures show on the website and any booking page.

Stayed here with two of my friends and we had a 10/10 time. The staff were kind and attentive, the hotel was spotless, and the rooms were extremely spacious. We each had our own single bed and we even had a patio outside. The room was immaculate, and it was so refreshing to not be feel crammed in a small room. It was one of our favorite hotels we ever stayed in! Breakfast was nice and located in a cute garden. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Superb traditional Italian style hotel, situated in the centre of Sorrento, just off Piazza Tasso. The hotel has its own private gardens with swimming pool and a parking garage. The rooms were spacious, simply furnished but tasteful. Beautiful gardens, surrounded by lemon trees, with more than enough space and no need to get up at dawn to stake your space. The inclusive breakfast buffet was sumptuous, with a wide choice of savoury and sweet options, as well as a selection of delicious fresh cakes made by the hotel’s chef, each day. For me, the most notable point was how friendly all the hotel staff were. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they genuinely wanted to please you. We definitely intend to return to The Antiche Mura, on our next visit to Sorrento

Myself and my husband stayed here for a week end of june til the the beginning of July for his 60th birthday. The hotel is beautiful and we enjoyed the surroundings of the pool bar and I loved the room. The location is absolutely fantastic. However we were there to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday and I felt the service towards us was a bit cold especially seeing other guests arriving and receiving warmer treatment than we were. And seen as my husband had mobility issues he liked to to go into the garden and sit on a little table daily for a few beers whilst I went out and about and one day I came back and he had been asked to move as they were lunch tables which is fine but there were no one on them tables when I got back and he was literally on a table that could just fit 2 people and spending money on beers. I would recommend this hotel though, maybe we just didnt fit

Easily the best accommodations of our 2025 Italy trip. The hotel was beautiful from the lobby and the lounge. Even the room was nicely appointed with lively floor tile designs. It's a small walk away from the plaza but gains it's peacefulness from this fact. The breakfast was great with selections for both Westeners and Europeans alike. Overall, definitely will be staying here again if we're ever back.

Will definitely stay here again. Extremely convenient location to all of Sorrento except the public beach (no hotel is convenient to it). One of the best views in the city also. Staff was very friendly and hospitable.

Wonderful stay. Loved our room. Friendly staff on reception, lovely barman. It was my birthday while I was there and I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast staff singing "happy birthday" to me with a cake. It made my day.

The air conditioning in our room was extremely weak, making it difficult to sleep at night. Despite calling the front desk multiple times to ask for help, the issue was never properly resolved. Breakfast was very basic. On a positive note, the location, shower, and bed were decent — but unfortunately, the AC problem was a deal breaker for us. We would not recommend this hotel.

This hotel was a big disappointment and definitely not worth 4 stars. The breakfast had very little variety, and while the servers were fine, the overall experience was poor. The air conditioning barely worked, making the nights uncomfortably hot—I had to rely on my own mini fan. No daily water refill was provided, which is very different from other hotels I’ve stayed in. Even worse, my room door could not lock properly, which felt unsafe. The WiFi was extremely weak, and the whole system and structure need serious renovation. From the outside, the property looks excellent, but once I unpacked and stayed, it turned into a nightmare. Not recommended unless major improvements are made

My wife and I really enjoyed our 3-night stay here. We visited in late September and had great weather. The hotel is nicely decorated and we loved our terrace balcony with a great view of the bay. We also enjoyed the hotel breakfast. We did not make too much use of the beach but it is pretty rocky down there so I would recommend bringing some water shoes or flip flops. We also had dinner one night at the restaurant and the food and service was fantastic.

We had a wonderful stay at La Tonnarella for two nights on our way to Positano from Rome. I wish we had stayed longer! The staff was extraordinarily pleasant and helpful - even working out a time for us on the beach. The room had an amazing balcony overlooking the bay of Naples and Mt V. The A/C worked fine and the bathroom was large and adequate for my family of four w/two sinks. The location was ideal, just a short walk to the restaurants and stores in Sorrento.

This hotel is absolutely amazing. You can't beat the location, right on the cliffs edge yet easily walk to town. The hotel is classic elegant Italian style. The private beach and bar are a great place to relax and have fun. Food was exceptional whether in the breakfast room or patio with stunning views all around. And the staff...top notch. This hotel is the ultimate Sorrento experience.

Our bed mattress and pilloews were as hard as rocks. Tiny but the terrace and was amazing. Little beaitiful walk to gorgeous downtown Sorrento. Breakfast and service was amazing

This wasn’t our first time staying here, and once again, the hotel made our family of 10 feel incredibly welcomed. The staff were fantastic, genuinely friendly and always happy to help. A special shoutout to Tony, who kept us all laughing and brought so much joy to our time there. His energy and sense of humour were unforgettable! We really appreciated how accommodating everyone was, especially with our picky eaters. The kitchen and dining staff went out of their way to ensure there was something for everyone, which made mealtimes stress-free and enjoyable. The views are as beautiful as ever, truly a highlight of the experience. Overall, it was a lovely stay and we were so grateful for the warmth and care shown by the entire team.

From the moment we arrived until the morning we left we had a fabulous time. The staff were constantly on the go checking if we needed anything. They're hardworking and always friendly. A special mention to Tony the barman!!He is always smiling and he remembers your name!!A huge asset to the hotel!!The hotel is more Italian than one of the bigger hotels but I don't think you will get the same atmosphere which is friendly and professional. Our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels etc. The hotel has a courtesy bus and it's free. The hotel is up in the hills but the views across the bay was beautiful. The hotel is family run and you can tell in that they are eager to ensure that you have a lovely holiday!!would recommend this hotel!!!We were celebrating our Wedding Anniversary and they came out with a cake and sang to us one evening in the restaurant!!A lovely gesture not only us but our friend celebrated her birthday as well with them singing to her too and a cake!!Other's who were celebrating also given the same treat!!Definitely a personal touch!!!!

Gorgeous hotel with authentic Italian feel. Rooms clean and comfortable and staff were excellent, helpful beyond the call of duty. Food was amazing with multiple delicious gluten free options available, staff very coeliac aware. Smallish pool but views of Mount Vesuvius across the scenic bay from the bathing and dining areas are truly stunning

We have just arrived home from the most perfect week in Sorrento. From the minute we arrived at the hotel we felt so welcomed and relaxed. The hotel is about a 20 minutes shuttle ride away from Sorrento town (the shuttle service from the hotel is free!) which was perfect. There is also a lovely little village about a 10 minute walk away from the hotel with bars, shops and restaurants. The food at this hotel was also amazing and some of the best we had on our whole trip! Our room was clean and well sized with beautiful views of Sorrento! It had a real authentic feel to it. The staff were all extremely attentive and helpful and were happy to help with anything we needed! I would definitely stay at this hotel again in the future :)

We have just returned from a really wonderful first visit to the Grand Hotel Hermitage and would love to go back! It is a truly lovely family-run and friendly hotel by people who really care about your experience there. We loved: The smaller size of the hotel & beautifully uncrowded pool side vs. much bigger/chain hotels; the incomparable location with incredible views of mount Vesuvius and the Sorrento coastline: the beautiful blue and yellow Sorrentine tiles in our lovely room; the care and pride the housekeepers take over the rooms with the most pristine white linen we've ever seen!; all of the kind attentive waiters and restaurant staff who go out of their way to accommodate dietary needs to ensure you have a lovely meal (special mention to Salvatore!) the fabulous lemon cake; pizzas; table tennis and much more!

We had the most wonderful experience at Grand Hotel Hermitage & Villa Romita! From the moment we arrived, we felt like part of a family – and that’s truly what makes this place so special. - excellent service! concierge are super friendly, helpful and professional - they helped us book transportation to and from the airport - they also booked a Pompeii tour for us and transportation to a wedding venue - they offer free shuttle service to Sorrento, with frequent times - the hotel is clean, spacious and cool - a nice pool area with lots of lounge chairs - the hotel restaurant offers a great selection of food - great selection for complimentary breakfast, including fresh fruit, to 3 different styles of eggs, a nice selection of breads and pastries - I gave a 4/5 for location because it is far from the heart of Sorrento. it's a 20 minute shuttle ride one way. if you have motion sickness, there are a lot of windy roads up to the hotel

We have had the most wonderful time at this hotel. It was exactly what me and my partner needed for our week stay in Sorrento. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, Rosie (the housekeeper) was one of the best we have come across. Cleaned our room everyday to an immaculate standard. Ferdinand cooked up a delicious breakfast every morning, and was always so cheerful. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for an amazing stay.

This hotel is in a great location! Our junior suite had a nice big bathroom and room as well as a small balcony with table overlooking the street. We enjoyed having space to spread out and even have friends over to share a drink in our room. The breakfast was the highlight! Each evening, the chef starts to prepare delightful pastries for the next morning and the spread is wonderful. We really enjoyed the variety and delicious options to start our days. The rooftop has a large amount of seating but we were disappointed that it is not open to guests until the bar opens at 7. It would be a great place to read a book or enjoy the beautiful day.

From the time we arrived until the time we left, we were made to feel extremely welcome and valued. A special mention goes to Rosie who could not have done more to have made our stay any more pleasurable. The location of the hotel is ideally situated within easy walking distance of everything including the port and train station. The rooms were well appointed, clean and comfortable and the roof top bar and terrace was a delight….as was the buffet breakfast, plenty of variety and a friendly greeting every morning. 😊

Close to the train station and the markets it makes the location great. If you want a more quiet vacation this may not be the location but if you love people watching from the balcony it’s perfect. The hotel was exceptionally clean and the housekeeping was above and beyond even straightening and rolling phone charging cards. The breakfast was great and they were super quick with making coffees. Service was always warm and welcoming.

This hotel was absolutely perfect for us, the location of the hotel was great as right in the centre of Sorrento town! Breakfast was included in our stay and what a great spread they served. We were only meant to stay for 2 nights but after our flight being cancelled we asked if they had room for us to stay the night they upgraded us with the same charge for the room! The staff have been so kind and very friendly! We will definitely reccomend this hotel and would love to stay again when we come back!

Our room was clean and spacious and we had a balcony overlooking a street full of shops. Just a block from the center of town, so it's a great location. The chef who makes breakfast is a treasure. Laundry service is €20 per bag, which is reasonable for same-day service. My only complaint is that the beautiful terrace isn't open for guests to just drop by and relax during the day; it's only open at night when they have a bartender on.

We really liked the hotel. The staff were excellent, from reception to dining room to cleaners - they were all great. The location isn't as central as we'd expected but the town centre is in walking distance. The rooms clean, well maintained but need refurbishment. We would still recommend this hotel.

Loved staying at Hotel La Meridiana. It had everything I wanted for my stay in Sorrento, a straightforward hotel in a good location. It's a great base for a holiday exploring the town. The staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable. Food tasty and kept us going. The star of the show is the roof terrace, cracking views, and a great place to unwind. I'd say the hotel outperform it's "official" star rating.

The hotel is in a fantastic location in Sorrento, close to the bus & train station and a short walk into the centre of town (5 mins). Even though it is so close to everything it is in a quiet location so you can sleep well. The rooms are very comfortable and extremely clean. Only 1 minor thing is the rooms could do with a kettle or coffee maker in them. The staff are so lovely and friendly at the hotel, and very helpful. Breakfast is fantastic, especially the gorgeous pastry tarts. Evening meals are good, only minor complaint not many fresh vegetables, peas were tinned and frozen veg. Would definitely stay at this hotel again. Roof top terrace is stunning and we had the best Lemoncello Spritz in Sorrento on the rooftop terrace.

Currently staying here and really nice. Got a sea view hotel on the fourth floor. Hotel is nice and clean. Rooms are a tad bit small but still spacious. The balcony is big too. Totally recommend even though a but expensive. Situated really conveniently around bars and restaurants and market places. Everything is a short 7-15mins walk. Rooms doesn’t have kettle or any morning complimentary food like coffee tea or biscuits but if you go to the reception they will provide you with hot water and cups.

We love this hotel! Our favorite stay in Italy! Our terrace looks out to beautiful views of the sea. Delicious breakfast! The staff is welcome, friendly and helpful. We are especially grateful for Albino! We’ll be back!!!

We stayed a week at La Meridiana in Sorrento Italy. The hotel is conveniently situated close to the centre of town and is an easy walking distance to all amenities for shopping and travel. The room was clean and bright with housekeeping daily. Breakfast is fresh with a lot of variety and one coffee is prepared for you. You’ll need to choose a breakfast time slot of the three available on a schedule. Be aware that the rooms advertised are not balcony rooms. A balcony room with a view is an additional 30 euros per night paid at the hotel reception desk so you need to contact them before you arrive to book this type of room. Be advised that check in is 4pm! La Meridiana is an updated older building with little soundproofing so you’ll get to know your room neighbours well and enjoy the street & traffic noise 24/7. Basic things like a daily bottle of water per person is NOT included but you’ll be generously given one bottle of water for the room to last your entire stay! We had one bottle for the two of us to last seven days!!! The bar fridge is stocked with water and drinks at an additional cost. Be prepared to pay an additional 50 euros deposit for a key to your room safe conveniently built into the wall of your room. Refundable of course, as long as you don’t lose it. There’s no iron or ironing board and they’ll only provide you with one key to the room to share with your partner.(so you can’t leave the AC turned on when you’ve left to sight see to return to a cool room) Lastly you won’t be able make yourself a tea or coffee in your room as this basic facility wasnt provided. The internet connection was good and we didn’t have a problem over our stay. The staff were polite and helpful and spoke conversational English well. Overall, a clean basic 3 star hotel missing some of the usual expectations of convenience that other 3 star hotels provide without question.

Nice hotel, not far from the shops, but can be expensive to travel from hotel to the ports if you don't want to walk, hotel staff very friendly and helpful, restaurant food OK but not typical Italian dishes just has the flavour of Italy, would have preferred authentic Italian choices. Disappointed with the aprettivo nibbles served in sealed packaging, crisps and terelli, no peanuts or bruchetta and had to ask for olives, but the view from the roof terrace was special the bay of Naples looked beautiful.

The Girasole provided an excellent base for our Sorrento holiday; we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the warm welcome and wonderful service provided by all of the hotel's brilliant, friendly staff. The highlights of our week spent there were the delicious meals (breakfast and dinner) and the hotel's outdoor pool and poolside bar which provided a great retreat each afternoon. Grazie mille to everyone at the Girasole for an unforgettable holiday, we look forward to returning in the future.

Great, friendly, traditional lovely hotel. Good traditional, tasty food served . Evening meal waiter Service, 3 courses and you pick your choices at breakfast. Friendly, family run. Nothing too much trouble. Quite a nostalgic place, a bit of old Sorrento. 20 min walk into Sorrento along a busy road or turn right down a back alley and there’s a quieter route. You can park your moped in the fenced off area. Stunning pool area a bit further down the lane. A High floor room with a garden view gives you a great view of Vesuvius. This hotel is Old Italy with all it’s quirks.

We visited for a week from 7th July, it is a lovely traditional Italian family run hotel. Service and staff are fantastic, make sure you use the bar on an evening, Rafael behind the bar is ‘the best’. Whilst our room was slightly small it was ok for us as we didn’t spend much time in it. The hotel and grounds are spotless and the pool area is very relaxing set in lemon and orange trees. The walk along the main road into town can be very busy but there is a quieter way if you go first right on leaving the hotel and meandering down towards the coast. About 20 minutes into town but less than ten to Sant’Agnello where you can watch beautiful sunsets with a Spritz.

Ok, plus points first. The hotel is wonderful with amazing staff. It's a family run hotel that is a little dated but has lots of charm. The food is simple but delicious Italian fare with a limited menu that changes every night. Drinks are incredibly good value and were the cheapest I found in the week we stayed in Sorrento. Now onto the not so good bits.. The location is very handy if you don't like staying in the centre of a resort due to the noise at night however, the hotel is right on the main road which is incredibly busy day and night and the walk into town takes 10-15mins alongside the road with narrow pavements. All in all, I'd stay again at Hotel Girasole if only for the wonderful staff

It’s location just one outskirts of Sorrento made it possible to feel away from the chaotic touristy parts. The owners and their family were so warm. The charm of it was brilliant. The food was amazing and they had staff who were brilliant and knowing the guests. You could say it was old school Italian. But if old school means super easy - not ripped off at the pool bar - an amazing clean pool and surrounding areas of unesco level beauty.

The hotel feels like a place from the 1950s that got a renovation around the year 2000. It’s not terrible, but it definitely feels outdated. The toilets had almost no water pressure, and in our room there were ants. On the positive side, I have to highlight the staff — their attention was excellent — and the view from the balcony, which was truly amazing.

A small friendly family run hotel only 20 minutes walk into Sorrento. The food was absolutely delicious and all of the staff were super friendly with great senses of humour and were always helpful - nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be returning in the future, thankyou Hotel Girasole for making our first Italian holiday wonderful.

An amazing stay on this estate. The animals were a particular highlight. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and the restaurant was really high quality too!

We had an wonderful stay at Relais Regina Giovanna! We were a two family group and we could not have found a better location to base ourselves with kids! The location is beautiful with the private beach being such a treasure to have on site. The food was incredible and staff were so helpful and kind, always willing to help with anything big or small. We stayed in the apartments and they were perfect for our two family group - the site has everything you could possibly need! We are already dreaming of a return visit!!

I shared the room with my parents, and we could not recommend this place enough. We shared one room (family room in main house), and it was spacious and beautiful (more than adequate space for three people). The serene location and privacy of the accommodations were perfect, and the resort grounds are incredible. There were lots of trails through lush foliage including olive and lemon trees. The private beach and bar major perk and reward for descending stairs (which you should be prepared for)! Given that it is a bit further from Sorrento center, they offer a shuttle service to downtown (you have to sign up for the rides ahead of time), but it was easy enough to taxi to and from the train station. The offerings at the restaurant for breakfast (which was included) and dinner varied and were delicious. The staff including their fur friends were friendly, accessible and attentive. If we are lucky enough to travel to Sorrento again, we would surely would return here.

Absolutely amazing place. Great for families and people with pets. Massive farm filled with olive orange and lemon trees. Super friendly staff. Great location. Just outside of Sorrento main town. There is even a shuttle that runs to town and back every few hours. Very accommodating. The hotel rooms are exceptionally luxurious. The facilities and amenities are top-class. Will return!

We are in love with Relais Regina Giovanna! The grounds are wonderful, we were in love with the flowers, lemon trees and olive trees. The private beach is a little heaven. We had two rooms for our group: one in the main section and an apartment for a family of four. They were spacious, the beds comfortable and the views fabulous. We enjoyed two dinners and a lovely breakfast each morning. You do have to plan your adventures away from the property as they will require a cab ride or the hotel shuttle. The staff was kind, attentive and helpful! I highly recommend this gorgeous place as a place to unwind and relax.

My husband and I stayed here in June for our honeymoon. It was our first time in Italy and this hotel was a highlight of the trip! The staff are so friendly, especially Gabriele! My husband and him became friends and he made sure we were okay during our entire stay. The private beach is so great and refreshing. The water is beautiful and the service is great. The included breakfast is great and so tasty! They have great variety and its all home made! The shuttle service to and from Sorrento is so convenient! The gardens all around the hotel are stunning. 10/10 for everything! Definitely recommend this hotel to everyone! Bring refillable water bottles! Love this hotel and gabriele

Excellent hotel for anyone who can enjoy a happy stay. It’s close to restaurants and shopping as the main shopping area is less than a minute away. The front desk people are outstanding as Simona and Fabio are very friendly and help like anything. The suite has two separate rooms with separate tv and air conditioning and the breakfast is nice. Overall if you want to come and enjoy a great vacation then it’s Rivoli. Also we came in at 9am and ask if they can do an early check in and they gave the room immediately as it’s available!! I would highly recommend and you will enjoy for sure!!

Hotel Rivoli is situated in a quiet part of the main historic district in Sorrento (not accessible by taxi, need to walk about 20 meters from drop off point). A 3 star hotel. The Good: 1) Wonderful location 2) the 2 bedders configuration is spacious and has a nice small balcony overlooking the alley & church bells 3)Helpful reception staff 4) Clean The Bad: 1) We know it is a 3 star hotel, but it would have been nice if they provide slippers for the tiled floor during winter 2) The toilet has a funny smell and weak water pressure 3) very basic amenities provided

We stayed at Hotel Rivoli the week of our wedding (mid May). We had 30 of our friends visiting Sorrento and everyone stayed all over the city but we stayed here. We loved it! It was centrally located and the rooftop was such a fun place to hang out with our friends at the end of the day. The staff was incredibly kind. Every single person greeted us. Upon checking out we left our luggage behind to pick up later since our shuttle out of the city wasn’t until later. When we came back to get it they gave me my earring they had found while cleaning the room. It was small but it was such a kind gesture! This place feels small as if you’re staying in a small bed and breakfast yet we hardly ever ran into anyone else staying there. The rooms felt slightly small but the bathrooms were large and comfortable with nice showers :) It was wonderful. I felt right at home. Thank you Hotel Rivoli!

Hotel was in an excellent location in Sorrento. Easy to get to the train station or ferry port. Delicious breakfast with lots of choices . Helpful and friendly staff. The 2 bedroom room we stayed in was great for our family with 2 teenagers. We even used the kitchenette when people just wanted to chill instead of going to a restaurant. Our room had a small balcony where you could enjoy a glass of wine.

Absolutely fantastic! This place feels cozy and homey, we loved our stay in this hotel. The hotel is extremely quite due to the old city location without cars. The rooms were very tidy and neat. The staff is very friendly and helpful, all of them are next-level-nice, and the manager tried to support us best he could and answer our questions. The hotel is extremely family friendly, children love the glass stairs. Do note - There is an elevator in the hotel, so traveling with a stroller is easy.

Right in the centre, really close to the ferry ti capri. Cleaned and comfortable room. The buffet breakfast wasn't bad, liked the croissant and the caprese cake. Lovely guy serving the breakfast. Very cosy, modern and elegant hotel in the center of Sorrento. Excellent location and close to all amenities and restaurants. Very friendly staff and they could speak good English. Very nice breakfast with so many options: oats, cereals, omelette, eggs, homemade pastries! We loved it! Thanks. Totally recommended it!!!!

Whilst staying nearby at a guest house, the Artis Domus Spa was a recommendation by their staff & I attended for a full body massage (my wife stayed on the beach). Reception staff were very helpful as I was apprehensive by myself & explained fully my treatment. I was given a robe & disposable small knickers to wear after changing in a private room. My female masseur was lovely, gentle & very pleasant so overall I was most satisfied. I then had a refreshing shower. Excellent facilities. Unfortunately I did not get her name as I would mention her personally in my review. I received my massage 23/06/25 at 5pm, so hopefully the spa management can check to commend her fully. Thank you.

We just spent five nights at the Artis Domus to celebrate our honeymoon and couldn’t have had a better experience. The hotel is centrally located and we never had more than a ten minute walk to the beaches, ferry, or restaurants. Despite being so close to the busiest part of Sorrento, the grounds of the hotel are so peaceful and relaxing. We loved being able to sit outside under the fruit trees in the garden and enjoy a peaceful breakfast every morning! The rooms were impeccably clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The housekeeping was very thorough and even took care to mop the floors of our room. We also enjoyed having a small washing machine in the room and being able to wash our clothes throughout our stay! Finally, the greatest asset to this hotel is the wonderful staff! Antonella, Francesca, and Ilaria were so kind, attentive, and helpful throughout our entire stay. They went above and beyond to make our honeymoon so lovely and comfortable. In addition to being friendly faces every time we walked in, they were always happy to answer our questions, recommend a restaurant, help us with our Italian, or offer directions. They truly spoiled us and made our trip so special!

The spa was a pretty cave, but the experience was absolutely terrible when I called at 2:57 PM. She told me to come at three. I told her it was not possible. She said OK come at three. I told her again it wasn’t possible and she said just come now I proceeded to walk over. I paid over $100 for a 50 minute massage. They stuffed me in a room with no air no music a rock hard bed… they b didn’t even cover my naked body!!!. I tried telling the lady that I had a bruise and to be careful of that area. She had zero idea what I was saying she then continued to start with my feet, which was absolutely ridiculous. I had a cut on my foot as well. She was rubbing it… I Immediately got up and walked out And politely asked for my money back and the lady said she could not give me my money back. Completely rude and unprofessional. UPDATE: you should have someone communicating that speaks English is my point about the time. And NO, that is a lie they did not offer me a massage the next day she said it wasn’t possible. They said they would put me in a different room. I told her I wanted a different masseuse and she said no.

Bad service and shower in our room was not working for two days. When we asked for a refund we didn’t get it and couldn’t stay elsewhere. We were offered to shower in a bnb 5 minutes away and we were offered to shower in the spa. The spa showers also didn’t work well and only the small shower head worked. Also the floor was flooded because the drain didn’t work well

Very friendly staff and helpful. The grounds are beautiful and away enough from the crowds. Only issue can be the occasional nesting pigeons, which leave a mess.

Fantastic little classy hotel in Sorrento with large rooms, high ceilings, sea views. Close to everything, but just outside of city center so really calm. The ladies are absolutely fantastic and could not have been nicer. Lovely breakfast taken out on the patio every morning. Perfect place in Sorrento.

Great hotel, location was perfect (very close to centre of town, easy enough to walk to from train and bus as well), the grounds were very pretty and it was incredibly quiet and peaceful, staff were very helpful and friendly, room was very big and was well equipped, bed was probably the best we had in Europe, pool and spa was great. And they had some very cute and friendly dogs 😂

The hotel is beautiful, well located, and has excellent facilities. Breakfast is great, and the pool is perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. However, we had issues that significantly affected our experience. The shower in our room had very low water pressure, and even after reporting it three times, nothing was done. They didn’t even offer to move us to another room. Additionally, although we booked a double room, we were given two single beds pushed together, which kept separating. Despite the positive aspects, the lack of attention to these basic issues left us quite disappointed.

Overall, we had a positive stay at this hotel in Sorrento. The location is perfect — right at the end of a lively high street with fantastic restaurants within a 5-minute walk, and only 15 minutes down to the ferry port and beaches (though be prepared for some steps). The breakfasts were a real highlight, with fresh omelettes made to order and a nice selection of other options, all enjoyed with beautiful views from the breakfast area. Most of the staff were friendly, polite, and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were fine — nothing particularly special, but clean and with excellent air conditioning which was essential in the heat. One downside was the shower, which would flood the bathroom floor every time it was used, which was frustrating. Unfortunately, our experience was soured on our final day. Our flight wasn’t until the evening, so we planned to relax by the pool and freshen up before heading to the airport. When we asked about facilities like showers and changing rooms, the hotel’s attitude completely shifted. Suddenly we were treated like an inconvenience rather than guests who had spent well over £1,000 for a stay. They insisted we had to leave the room by 11am and could only use the pool until 1pm — after which, we were left with nowhere to shower or get ready, in 33°C heat, before our flight home. When we politely raised this, the manager was incredibly rude, dismissive and argumentative, even speaking over us rather than offering any solutions or even basic courtesy. I understand that hotels don’t have to provide post-checkout facilities, but it’s the attitude and lack of basic hospitality that really disappointed us — especially for the price paid. Most hotels we’ve stayed at would at least try to be accommodating. In summary: a good hotel in a brilliant location with great breakfasts and generally nice staff — but be very cautious if you have a late flight, as you’ll essentially be kicked out and disregarded as soon as you check out. Sadly, this experience changed our overall opinion of the hotel and we wouldn’t stay here again.

The location of this hotel is perfect - walkable distance to shopping and restaurants, marina, port and train station. The dining room has a beautiful view of the ocean as well. The staff was friendly but be aware the English of the staff for breakfast can be a tad limited. The breakfast buffet was tons of pastries and toast/bagels/croissants, a few fruit options, cereal (with very warm milk) and cold quiche. The best cooked breakfast option was the omelette or the toast with ham and cheese, the eggs and bacon were very undercooked. Overall for a free included breakfast we enjoyed it every morning. You do only get one coffee though which my husband was not thrilled with. The restaurant for dinner however was outstanding and if you're staying here definitely make a point to eat here one night. Our room was fine however the ceiling is paper thin and not sound proofed at all. It sounded like someone was moving heavy furniture all night long above us. Maybe add some sound proofing to the ceiling as we did not need the super high ceilings and would have preferred the quiet at night. The mattress was an old spring mattress and was very uncomfortable. That would be my main suggestion would be a major overhaul to the beds. Definitely request a 3rd floor room, we had family stay in the lower rooms and they were not happy at all with their accommodations. The view from the 3rd floor garden room we had wasn't bad, with views of the cliff and trees but the lower down you go the worse the view gets. A 3rd floor sea view room would be the most ideal room to stay in. The pool was small and very cold but we did not use it so that didn't really matter to us. The grocery store across the street had great options if you don't want to have to eat out every night.

Hotel Rivage is absolutely superb in all aspects, the location is fantastic, the staff are very friendly and welcoming, the hotel astetics are very good! The food and drinks are fantastic and the pool area is great for chilling out and lapping up the sun and glorious mountain and sea views. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel if you are spending time in Sorrento. We will absolutely be staying here again in the future. 5 stars all round.

Hotel Rivage was even better than expected, we've just come home from a week in Sorrento and had a dream holiday. The staff are warm, friendly and remember your names, the breakfast staff in particular - Grazie! The cleaners always made the room perfect and it was super clean to begin with too, the room was spacious and the aircon was excellent (which was needed during the heatwave of 36°). Overall the hotel is just so beautifully done, it's compact but cleverly designed, the bar feels like a 5* hotel with views overlooking the bay. The friendliest place in Sorrento to be honest! We're recommending to our friends and family and will be back again 🌞 Zoë & Tom

Hotel refused to present us with a receipt OR proof of no refund. Really uncooperative and unhelpful. Hotel staff have redirected us to a purchasing agent. THE AGENT PURCHASED THROUGH was also unable to provide proof of no refund because it is not their job either apparently. Double check cancellation policies before booking as emergencies can happen at any time and neither agent or hotel will be willing to help you recoup the money lost. Also, the view was poor, the room was very dirty, and the shower clogged. It’s weird for a business to bully customers in the reviews as well.

Decent stay, but poor management left a bad impression. Restaurant and reception staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was fine overall, but the toilet was in poor condition—leaking shower, broken seat and flush. Some days, cleaners forgot to leave towels, so we had to ask at reception. The real letdown was on our last day—with a late flight, we hoped to freshen up after checkout, but were told to leave by 1pm and no shower facilities were available. The manager's dismissive and argumentative attitude was disappointing. Wouldn’t return.

Really lovely place to stay. Fairly central, (which means that it's on a busy road, but double glazing and AC sorts that). The pool is really good, we didn't try the fitness suite but I'm sure that's good too. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Couldn't ask for more!

Our stay at Hotel Central Wellness was absolutely perfect. Everything was spotless, well organized, and had a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind throughout. The amenities were great, and the breakfast was a highlight — fresh fruits and one of the best spreads we've had. No doubt, it's an excellent option for anyone staying in Sorrento!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Central Sorrento. Very comfortable family room for 4, which had 2 balconies and 2 rooms separated by a sliding door. Friendly and helpful staff, great facilities and a reasonably large breakfast buffet selection - something for everyone. Relaxing wellness (purchased massages) and good size outdoor pool. Never too busy, and always found loungers. Great staff at the pool, a variety of drinks served and some food -mainly a lunch menu. Our room faced the street but we were never bothered by noise. Well insulated windows. The hotel and area was quiet, and far enough away from the center of town and the buzz of traffic and evening crowds. Yet only a few minutes walk from a wide selection of restaurants and shops. Will recommended to family and friends, and would be very happy to return. Thanks for a memorable stay in Sorrento!

We spent a week at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed. The reception staff were always smiling and professional. The hotel is pretty and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We also received some lovely welcome gifts (2 free cocktails, a small bottle of sparkling wine, water, and cookies in the room). The hotel is fairly well located, though it’s about a 15–20 minute walk to the center where you’ll find the main attractions, ferries, and the beach. My partner found it a bit far, but I didn’t mind. On the other hand, there are several nice local restaurants nearby. Breakfast was included and very good. A special mention to our waitress Caterina—very kind and provided excellent service! The hotel also has a pool, a sunbathing/relaxation area, and a snack bar. There is also a rooftop with a beautiful view where you can relax and enjoy a drink. Everything was great! I definitely recommend this hotel and would return without hesitation. I already miss it.

Great stay at Hotel Central, staff were very pleasant and helpful and decorated our room for a special occasion which was appreciated. The buffet breakfast was delicious. We had a balcony but were not bothered by the noise outside at all. Yes it is a bit out of the way from the town centre but it is a nice easy walk into town from the hotel.

We had room 511 which was facing the back of the property (sea view). Probably worth the upgrade to not have the road which did have constant traffic. Hotel has good location, super king bed was good if not a bit creaky, great cocktails at the bar. Breakfast 8/10 Location 10min stroll to the old town Sorry could have better pictures!

Everything was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. This hotel is slightly further from the center of town than the rest but still easily walkable, 15 minutes, into the Town Center. Thank you, we enjoyed our stay!

Great hotel. Very well run. Super efficient, clean and professional. Excellent breakfast and fantastic waiters in the bar. It’s a 12 min walk to the centre of Sorrento so it’s away from the intensity of the town but close enough to be easily accessible. Lovely pool, lots of loungers and a generally calm and upmarket ambiance. The manager does a fabulous job of setting high standards across the board for the team. Thanks for a perfect stay.

Don't think twice about staying here if you are on the fence. This hotel was one of the best hotel's that my Husband and I stayed at during the duration of our honeymoon. We jumped around from city to country and I must say, Hilton Sorrento has outdone themselves. Location was excellent, room was immaculate! Absolutely loved how clean the place was. Excellent staff and beautiful lobby. If we ever travel back to Sorrento, wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. One of the best hotels between Italy and France.

Great place to stay. Has a number of excellent restaurants on campus. Not a bad walk down to the water, very close to the tourist zone of Sorrento but far enough away that you feel separate from it (in a good way!). Had a great time in the pool! And the views were spectacular.

Lovely hotel! Huge rooms! Amazing breakfast and staff they have a kids club and make fresh olive oil! They make their own olive oil it was wow! We had a wonderful room with balcony and a splendid view of Mount Vesuvius!! Only limitation is that it’s not close to the city center about 15 minute walk! So if you have kids, you will just need to take a short cab! Not a big deal! Hotel is fantastic with amazing views! They have olive trees everywhere and various restaurants l! You don’t have to leave it you don’t want too! They also have a wonderful pool! The room service is splendid! We stayed in last night and ordered a bottle of wine and food was fabulous! Alone or with kids I highly recommend!

Our stay at the Hilton Sorrento Palace was fantastic—easily one of the best Hilton properties I’ve experienced (and three of my top four are now in Italy!). Danilo greeted us on arrival, took care of our bags, and was incredibly friendly and helpful while we waited for our room. Federica was wonderful throughout our stay, and Silvio at the rooftop bar made the experience even better with great service and a welcoming attitude. Beautiful views, excellent service, and a truly memorable stay. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Sorrento.

Room was very spacious and staff were friendly. The breakfast had amazing options. Location is a bit further from the centre of sorrento and the beach, with a bit of an uphill walk on the way back (nothing crazy steep or long). Deducting a star because the pool closed very early and I never understood why as the nights are still quite hot in Sorrento and the pool should've been open till 8pm minimum.

Just come back from this amazing hotel and can't wait to return! Impeccable service, the cleanest rooms and the most wonderful location. Lovely breakfast. Antonio made an effort to learn our names on the first day and greet us warmly every morning and have a chat. Great selection of food at breakfast and the waiters were very attentive. The location is perfect and the view from the terrace bar is stunning. The rooms are cleaned to a high standard and the hotel is spotless throughout. Felt more like a 5star hotel. Loved it!

The entire staff were so friendly and professional. The rooms were beautiful and the sea view was stunning. Having a morning espresso overlooking Mount Vesuvius was amazing. The breakfast buffet was the best we had ever experienced, especially the honey and juice bar. It was the perfect walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!!!

What a beautiful hotel! Can't beat the location and the rooms were beautiful and clean. Breakfast was delicious but at times the wait service was confusing - we might have come when the server's schedule for the next month came. Several servers gathered in a corner taking photos of a piece of paper and having their own discussions. I really would have loved a second cup of cappuccino and for someone to clean up our table, but of the 10 servers that seemed to be walking around aimlessly, none of them seemed to want to wait on people.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and had one of the most appalling hotel experiences imaginable. On our second night, we were kept awake for hours by guests next door - screaming, banging on our wall, and other deeply disturbing noises. Despite video evidence and staff hearing the noise themselves, management’s only initial “solution” was to tell us to “call if it happens again.” The next step the hotel offered was a downgrade to a smaller, darker room without corner windows or pool views. When we declined, the manager promised to move the disruptive guests if it happened again - then lied and denied ever saying this when the behaviour inevitably continued. The guests were only moved after days of repeated complaints, us asking to leave the hotel, and another neighbour also being disturbed. The hotel refused every reasonable solution, lied to our faces, and only acted after two days of chaos, exhaustion, and stress. At check-out, no compensation was offered, and no one even asked how our stay had been, showing the lack of care for their guests. We were left visibly upset, sleep deprived and exhausted from spending hours of our honeymoon advocating for the most basic standards of hospitality. The hotel manager repeatedly downplayed the problem, broke promises, and treated us as though we were the issue, not the victims of constant disturbance. For a hotel marketed as 4-star, this is disgraceful. Instead of enjoying our honeymoon, we spent days stressed, sleep-deprived, and fighting for the most basic level of respect and peace. Avoid this hotel at all costs if you value professionalism, honesty, or a peaceful night’s sleep.

We stayed an extra night. I feel spoiled. Everything so amazing. They really pamper their guests with stunning art work/decore. So very clean. Accommodating to the highest degree. Rooftop lounge had amazing music and spectacular views, including fireworks launched from a boat. I love it here! Do I have to go home?

Probably the best/nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in and for a great price. The front desk and staff is very kind and professional. The breakfast blew me away and the service was incredible. Stayed here for about 5 nights in August and are already planning our next trip to sorrento and will be staying here again. Best location in sorrento as well

In my opinion your concierge came across as rude, abrupt and condescending, he made us feel cheap and not worthy at the time of check in! We were going to eat in your rooftop restaurant one evening but your failure to present a cooked breakfast did change our minds about the quality of food we could expect! Was I the first guest ever to ask a concierge about the details of a bus transfer to the airport?? Why not try a little harder to assist, Have a slip of paper with a website, booking details, phone number, it wouldn’t be difficult. Overall you look good on the surface but once you scratch the surface your hotel is a huge disappointment. If you make Room 102 a store room it may be a better use for it! You never felt welcome in this hotel, very much a typical get them in, get the money and get them out type of place.

This hotel is in a great location with the most incredible views of Sorrento and Mount Vesuvius! Although it is not in easy walking distance of Sorrento, the hotel has a free shuttle bus to get to and from the town, which we found to be reliable. Our room (triple room) was perfect for what we needed, and it was always very clean. The staff were all really lovely and approachable, especially Tony, he was FANTASTICO 😊 The only slight downside was that we stayed half board, and although the breakfast was nice, the evening meal options were sometimes hit or miss. But this might be down to personal preference. Overall, a great place to stay when visiting Sorrento for the views alone.

A peaceful stay with stunning views and thoughtful service We stayed three nights at Hotel la Vue D’Or and found it to be a beautiful and peaceful accommodation. Our room comfortably slept four, with one queen bed and two singles - perfect for our teenagers. The space was clean and tidy, and the bathroom was surprisingly large compared to other stops on our trip. Our room overlooked the pool and had lovely views out to the ocean. We were also regularly entertained by the resident donkey next door! The motel does seem to attract a predominantly 65+ crowd, so our teenagers weren’t too keen to hang around the pool area, but it was perfect for a quiet, relaxing stay. Staff were mostly friendly and helpful, and we want to give a special mention to the hospitality team for going out of their way to provide gluten-free breakfast options for our coeliac family members. It made a big difference. We especially loved the free shuttle into Sorrento – a great perk! Just a heads-up: if you need to be in Sorrento before 8am, you’ll need to take a taxi, which costs around 50 euros. The views of Mt Vesuvius from the property are absolutely stunning. If you don’t have early morning commitments in town, take advantage of the shuttle and book your stay here – we’re glad we did!

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel la Vue D'Or. Although the room and bathroom were smaller than we anticipated, we had a beautiful view off the balcony. The outdoor terrace/restaurant also has beautiful views. The staff was always helpful and professional. Dinner at the hotel was very good. We had a younger waiter, dark hair, during our stay. We unfortunately did not get his name, but he was professional, friendly and provided excellent dinner choices and wine recommendations when we ate at the hotel. The hotel does provide laundry service, but I believe it is a 3 day turn around time. The hotel also provides a bus shuttle service into town once an hour, so that is something to take into consideration when booking tours etc. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Hotel la Vue D'Or.

Such a lovely hotel with amazing views and personalized service! The free shuttle is perfect to get to Sorrento. The staff is incredible, rooms are very clean with beautiful views, and nice pool with spectacular views. The SITA bus stop is just a 1 min walk if needed. The restaurant has a full spread breakfast that is perfect for fueling up for the day, Overall great value! Can’t say enough about the impressive personalized service.

Tony the head waiter at the restaurant is an absolute “Fantastico” person! We so looked forward to meals and our interactions over our 5 day stay in this magical place. Quite high up from Sorrento, the views of Sorrento, Mount Vesuvius and Naples is second to none! There is a free shuttle service every hour transporting guests to and from Sorrento. The pool area is also really nice. Great place, highly recommended but what really made our mornings and evening was our chats with Tony! Vue D’Or take care of that man!

Beautiful hotel… shuttle coach free every 30 mins to sorrento.. food really nice.. breakfast more continental than British… rooms comfortable… shower needs updating in our room that’s the only quibble… Thankyou all you have been amazing

Exceptional hotel. The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. Tata in particular was fantastic. Just threethings to be aware of, the air con knocks off if your balcony door is open and they use a tab service for all lunch and bar options which you settle at the end of your stay. Lastly, there are not so many beds by the pool with umbrellas, just to note if you like the shade. The bus service was very reliable to the centre it took about 15 minutes. Really looking forward to visiting again.

Our stay was perfect from start to finish. Staff is exceptional here, especially Federica from the Front Desk. She was so kind, friendly and went above and beyond for us during check in. Thank you! All the serving staff is equally great, remembering things like dietary restrictions, always quick and attentive. Pools are both nice, hotel location is perfect (10 min walk to town), rooms are spacious, balcony ocean view is stunning! Overall 10/10!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel in Sorrento! We booked 5 rooms for our group, and every single detail was outstanding. The staff truly went above and beyond for us—when we accidentally left some luggage behind, they arranged to have it delivered all the way to Rome the very same day. That level of service is simply extraordinary. The hotel itself is beautiful and very well maintained. The gym is excellent (one of the best I’ve seen in Italy), and the breakfast each morning was delicious, fresh, and generous. Between the incredible service, great amenities, and warm hospitality, I honestly can’t say enough good things about this hotel. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Sorrento!

We stayed here for one night on our honey moon and I wish we had booked more days here. The room was absolutely stunning. The view from the rooftop pool was breathtaking. All of the staff were amazing especially Angela who was working the rooftop bar, she was the sweetest! If we ever come back to Sorrento in the future I will definitely stay here again.

Best experience. Everything is on point at this hotel and they have the most incredible hard working friendly staff. My room was gorgeous, the food is incredible and the views are spectacular. So close to the square with anything you need. I used the state of the art gym, visited their spa, swam in the roof top and garden pools plus ate in their 3 restaurants and bar. It’s 5 star in my opinion. They provide everything with out having to ask. I didn’t want to leave. Shout out to Angela at the pool she’s amazing and Massimo the bell man, also the ladies who service the room. Front desk is so efficient and the servers go out of their way. Best breakfast I’ve seen. Can’t wait to return! Also internet works great.

The views from the rooftop pool of this hotel are so beautiful, you won't believe they're real. You can start every day with a delicious breakfast, then swim in one of their two beautiful pools. Need a drink or a snack, it's available. The staff, waiters, housekeeping are all extraordinary!

We were so in awe of this place! It was our first time to Italy and we had read so many mixed reviews on the hotel, so we were a little hesitant, but this place was PERFECT. The location was amazing- right off the main drag so you could walk everywhere, but it still felt private and not too busy. The rooftop pool overlooked the Mediterranean, and it was gorgeous! They were also one of the only hotels that already had their pools open (we went in April). Not to mention, two pools! One was a rooftop and the other was in a garden setting right off the restaurant. The continental breakfast was great as well, especially given that they don't really have hot breakfast in Europe, but here they did! The Chef was making omelets, potatoes, meats, etc., all included with the stay. The hotel was clean and quiet. Most importantly, the staff was AMAZING. If you were to take away one thing from this, it's that I have never met a better, more caring group of people. They are kind and friendly! We ended up canceling our trip to Florence and staying there because we loved it so much. They were able to accommodate us in a different room since we did end up staying and moved everything down for us! We got back from lunch, and everything was taken care of! When we first got there, they walked us through the hotel and to our new room, gave us a little tour to make sure we knew where everything was. When we were leaving, our flight wasn't until the evening, and they held on to our suitcases for us! I just can't say enough positive things about this place! Highly recommend and we will be back!

Great location just outside of old town. Staff was very friendly. Rooms and hotel was very clean. It seemed as if someone was always cleaning. Close to train station and great value. Breakfast was also nice to have before heading out for the day. I would recommend and stay here again.

Amazing hotel! We stayed for 4 days and it was incredible. The view from the room is unmatched! Staff were attentive, prompt and so lovely. The pool is awesome, especially for days where the beach is crowded and in full sun. Breakfast was great! Plenty of restaurants around and activities like boat hire, kayak, snorkel etc. Would HIGHLY recommend to others and would love to come back one day. Where do I start? This hotel is nothing short of amazing! We were here on our honeymoon & the atmosphere was exactly the relaxing experience we were looking for. Our room (314) was INCREDIBLE! The views from our room were breathtaking especially from the balcony! The breakfast had so many options, surely great for anyone! The lunch/snack & dinner menus were all great! Honestly the best French fries ever lol. But I would stay here a million times over again for this exact experience. The staff is so kind & helpful, you feel like royalty🙌🏻 10/10 recommends

Hotel Admiral is in a lovely, quiet marina location with stunning views—perfect if you prefer a beachside setting. Just note it’s a 15-minute uphill walk to town, which can be tough, though there’s a local bus option too. Staff were welcoming, breakfast had a nice variety, and food and drink prices were reasonable. Some areas could use a refresh, especially the bathrooms and sun lounges, and the pool was too cold to enjoy. Staff did help with luggage when asked, but a standard trolley service would really improve the arrival experience. Overall, a relaxing stay in a serene location.

Our stay at Admiral hotel was a pleasent experience although the rooms need a little upgrade. The view and the vibe of the hotel was amazing, breakfast ok+ but we missed fresh bread and better coffee. Loved the fresh omelette station, it was really good 🤩 The main areas of the hotel was really nice. It’s located 1km from the main town in a quiet and cosy area, we really loved the location. And the views - breathtaking 🤩🌅

The hotel is far from peaceful. If you’re coming for relaxation or rest, it’s impossible to sleep due to the extremely loud music and parties at night. The rooms are old and worn-out, completely different from what the lobby suggests. There’s a huge gap between the beautiful, modern lobby and the outdated, uncomfortable rooms. Service is poor, and most of the staff are dismissive and unfriendly—except for one lady, who I believe was a foreigner, not Italian. She was warm, welcoming, and professional. The only two good things about the hotel are the lovely lobby and the scenic view. I was determined to change hotels from the very beginning, but unfortunately, I couldn’t find any available alternatives to book during my stay. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

Spent 3 nights here to begin our vacation in Italy. Great stay and great service. A bit of a walk to get to Piazza but worth it to escape the busy tourist streets.

We have stayed here a week and we would definitely return! Staff were wonderful. Pool was great with loads of beds and relaxing music. Drinks were €8 for a large, local wine which is pretty in line for the area. Rooms are cleaned daily. Breakfast is extensive! Pastries, continental and lots of egg options at the station. Location is on the Marina Grande. 10-15 mins up the hill to the centre but the marina has lots going on 😍 Views over Vesivius are beautiful. Rooftop bar is a delight at night. Can't rate this pace higher

Stayed here as a family of six for five nights. It's a nice hotel, with great views out to sea from the pool and Terrance bar, perfect for us as a family as the pool was really nice to come back to each day after exploring the region. The staff were very helpful and friendly, there was a very good bus service to go into Sorrento, tickets for 1.5euro from the mini market nearby. Also a path behind the hotel to go to a very nice beach with 4 or so restaurants. Only downside was the breakfast, we paid for it once (15 euros per person), a very small selection to choose from, primarily cake, lots of cake, so children were happy. The children were sad to leave

I cannot say enough about the staff and location at this hotel. Once you arrive, the overwhelming seaside ambiance at the front entrance with all the white and blue of the sea and the greenery draws you in. Our rooms were just perfect with an amazing view. Tina, Louisa ( in the food service area) Jose, a sweet boy who is on way to his university and all the guest services staff were just wonderful. Waiting for the bus, which is VERY close to the hotel, but a little scary, is a plus. Everyone was just wonderful and helpful for reserving taxis too

Love this hotel, lovely and quiet and the staff are so friendly. High up in the hills away from crowds. Pool area is fabulous and the views are stunning. Only downside is you don’t get a phone signal and the WiFi isn’t the best but that’s a teeny problem compared to how gorgeous this place is

Hotel is infested by ants. Our first room had ants all over the bed, nightstand and bathroom. When this was addressed to the reception, they seemed surprised, however i suspect they are fully aware of this when reading other reviews of the hotel. We were shown a second room, and when the receptionist showed us the room, we saw ants crawling on the wall. His suggestion was to give us an ant spray. We did not end up with this room and was allocated a third room. After the first night, we saw ants on the bathroom here as well. The service is initially good, however i think the service from the hotel once we discovered the ants is unacceptable and not helpful. No refunds or compensation was given, even after asking for this. We felt the receptionist trying to avoid us. Would not recommend at all, unless you prefer to sleep with ants of course.

It was fantastic stay in hotel dania.. Reception staff was very helping and energetic espacially Jose with great smile. Few things be noted, room have no extra power sockets available, one was broken notify to repair but not repaired properly. In 3 days towels not be changed once. Breakfast was fantastic warm and delicious. Regarding parking shouldbe free to clients during stay. Cafe/Bar Staff was very helping and energetic. Good to stay there.

Woke up to a severe ant infestation in my room, with dozens crawling from the ceiling onto my food tray. I also left with multiple bites. The hotel’s response was dismissive and unhelpful, even suggesting I might pay for their pest inspection. Very unhygienic and not acceptable for a hotel stay

I stayed here in April while travelling through Italy on my motorcycle and it was the perfect place to use as a base for visiting the Amalfi coast. The walk into the main street of Sorrento was 10minutes, I ummed and ahhed at this but honestly, don't let it put you off booking here! If you're arriving here on a bike or in a car the free parking is a godsend. The room was big, had a lovely view and the bed was comfy. It was also nice and quiet! Breakfast was spot on and you could sit inside or outside. The pool is nice, perfect for cooling down and relaxing by for an hour or two before heading out on a night. Pool towels are €2 or €3 for your stay. The girls at the desk are fantastic, very very helpful and more than willing to chat and help out with the million questions I asked about the towns, restaurants and boat ride to Capri. Thank you's very much! I'm sure I'll visit the region again and will definitely look to stay back here. Ciao, Michael.

Really enjoyed time spent at La Badia Hotel. The views and the garden are amazing. Restaurant is nice, with no unpleasant surprises. Pool was big enough and we had a great time there.

The hotel is a perfect choice for vacationers who want a great guest experience without a lot of the fuss. The staff is incredible. They walk you through navigating Sorrento and offer to help with any bookings of excursions or taxis. The view from the terrace is excellent and allows for sights of the sea, the cliffs and in the distance you can see Mt. Vesuvius. While it is a bit tricky to get to, the hotel is in quick walking distance of the downtown area.

Very charming hotel, we loved the views and the atmosphere. There is lovely outdoors space for guests overlooking the sea and Sorrento. The rooms were well maintained and clean and all staff were super nice and helpful! Breakfast on the terrace was great, the only slight letdown for me was food at dinner service so we ended up walking into town for most of our meals. Location is perfect if you have a car as there is plenty of parking space, the walk into town also wasn't too bad if you're in good shape takes up to 15min.

One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. The staff were so friendly and even showed us to our rooms. The restaurant were so friendly and greeted us every morning for breakfast. The location was beautiful, with a view of Vesuvius and overlooked Sorrento, and the restaurant terrace had a view of the sunset, overlooking the sea. The rooms were lovely and spacious, the views shown are from room 35. The walk to the beginning of the centre was around 10-20 minutes. The views from this walk were amazing, overlooking both the sea and Sorrento. It wasn't a long walk, but it was quite uphill, so we walked down towards the centre, but got the bus back up. It cost 2 euros each and stopped outside of the hotel, and a taxi cost 25 euros. This hotel was absolutely wonderful, and I couldn't recommend it enough.

Location: It is definitely a challenging steep hike up the shortcut paths/roads from the center of town. My family is in fairly good shape, so we enjoyed the exercise, but I wouldn't recommend for anyone in less-than-ideal health. It takes about 10 minutes to walk down / 15 min. up. There is one stretch of 1/4 mile that's on a narrow sidewalk of very busy, curvy main road that was a bit anxiety-inducing. Rooms: The view was excellent! (pics attached) but the beds weren't that comfortable. Especially the single bed - which turned out to be a kind of Murphy bed - folding out of a half wall. My adult daughter complained that it was hard as a rock. The bathroom was large and clean, but very dated. It had one of those 1/2 glass panels for the tub/shower that tends to let water get all over the floor. Grounds: beautiful! There's a pool area, small olive grove/garden, and the terrace overlooking the sea was the best place to have breakfast and begin our days here. Service: Breakfast had a nice selection of fruit, pastries, juice, and Italian meats. A barista brought us wonderful cappuccinos each morning. And it was just lovely to have breakfast on the covered terrace.

A truly well run boutique hotel offering something different from the usual chain hotel brands. Quirky rooms with great design and stunning views down over the bay (with each room having large windows with a full sea view). We enjoyed every moment here and would not hesitate to recommend the hotel to those looking for something a bit different.

Perfection! The staff is lovely. The grounds/room/art are amazing. You can easily walk to the bay (we went to the beach for a morning and it was actually very fun) and the hotel is an easy walk to town. It's not that they had a good photographer, the hotel really is as fun and beautiful as it looks in the pictures online. For our family -- two young teenagers and two adults staying in two rooms -- a hotel can make or break a trip. I wish we were staying longer.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and birthday and it couldn’t have been more special. The staff are incredible and so friendly and genuinely feel happy to be there. The location and hotel itself is beautiful and feels like you’re in an art gallery. The food was the best we had especially the French toast and home cooked lunch. They even made me a delicious birthday cake. Can’t wait to come back ❤️

We loved our stay at the quaint Maison La Minervetta. Highlights of this property included the views from the room, the spectacular dining patio, and the serenity of the plunge pool. Location is great: a 10-minute walk from the busy part of Sorrento and a set of stairs directly down to the port. Food offerings were not amazing (especially in the evenings) but did the job. Overall this was an excellent experience and part of a great visit to Sorrento. We highly recommend.

Located above Sorrento, lovely view towards Sorrento. Clean basic room with furnished balcony. Kitchen with microwave is availble, Continental breakfast option. We stayed a little before the season, used the free shuttle to the center of Sorrento, runs every hour with a break at noon. It is highly recommended to leave the car at the hotel and take the shuttle to Sorrento and back to hotel. Daniel from the reception team was lovely, greeted us warmly and took care of us.

I booked this hotel through booking. Com. Before booking I read all the reviews and they all sounds great and I trusted them however our stay turned into a nightmare. The location was awful. So far from the city center and each time we had to wait in the heat for more than an hour for the shuttle to arrive specially going back at night when we were tired and had so much shopping in our hands. Then it was the cleanliness. I just don’t understand why people are capable of writing such non sense reviews. There were bugs, ants, spiders all over the room. There were no stool or anything for us to lay our suitcases so we put them on the floor when we came back at night there were ants and bugs crawling into our suitcases. My daughter was up all night long. She was scared she would get bitten by a bug. I even was bitten by them all over but the worst one was on my face under my left eye. The room was so dark, depressing, hard to access and needed to go down 40 steps to get in. Very smelly. Overall very bad experience and I don’t trust booking .com and none of the reviews . We end up checking out this hotel next morning and went into a hotel much closer to city center and much nicer and cleaner. But I regret wasting my precious vacation time dealing with such unnecessary problems. It was not fair to me and my daughter to suffer so much. I don’t recommend this hotel at all.

Had a really unfortunate incidence where we thought we'd booked this hotel through a third party website and we had not. Giovanni took amazing care of us and got us set up at the last minute during peak season. Thanks for caring and would love to come back and stay at Le Terrazze next time!

Having read loads of reviews we were expecting an outstanding experience. Sadly it was not to be. Although the staff were very polite and helpful and the location brilliant, the bungalow itself was tired and not clean. The air-conditioning unit had thick mould in the vents so we didn't use it and the bathroom needed a thorough bleaching. Even the TV remote was dirty. Some sockets were clearly broken. Our wardrobe was also broken and the second bedroom was in the kitchen! There was only a curtain to divide the room and there was no inside eating/living space. We found this difficult. We chose not to eat in and stayed out for long days instead. The pool was okay but came with a full A4 sheet of instructions. Yes WiFi is available but only in very specific areas - not the accommodation itself - so if you want to be connected in your room this is not the place for you (not a problem for us). Breakfast adequate.

Absolutely lovely base for our sight seeing holiday - staff were really great and very knowledgeable. Room was serviced daily and always had fresh towels. For the type of holiday we had in mind this place was perfect.

The experience was wonderful from the time I checked in. It was raining and the gentleman in the office came out with umbrella. They even took me to my room in the car so I wouldn't get wet! Everything about this place was wonderful. I definitely want to stay here again!

Only ten minutes from the heart of Sorrento. Very friendly and helpful staff who all speak excellent English.Nice clean ensuite room with aircon and fridge. Pool area lovely. Breakfast continental style. Having seen the location of many hotels round Sorrento unless you are paying double or treble, this is extremely well located and easily walkable into Sorrento two or three times a day depending on your itinerary. Receptionists also organised a few excursions via the hotel and it's so easy as they include pickup and dropoff, which makes it easier and cheaper than many of the alternative offerings. Having done the Pompeii excursion via the hotel and the Amalfi/Positano we can recommend both very highly. No hassle, private excursions so no having to queue up and guess which ferry you need (absolute pain as nobody has a clue and rushes from one ferry coming in to be told no, next one etc etc). Highly recommend.

A lovely place to stay within a 15 minute walk to central Sorrento. The hotel has a breakfast room and pool bar which serves food throughout the day. Hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. A lovely place to stay. We didn't use the pool as we spent our days on our feet travelling to see the sights, however it looked very clean with some clear rules about pool rules and hygiene. If you are walking to Sorrento there is a steep hill to the hotel with no footpaths - traffic can get quite close.

Great place to stay considering the cost. 10 minutes walk from the town centre, allow longer for the way back as it's uphill. Super friendly staff, great pool/bar/cafe area. Located pretty much in the centre of town but feels like it's a rural setting. Thank you to all the people at Villaggio Verde who helped to make a great stay.

We spent the last 2 nights of a whirlwind vacation here and the quiet solitude was exactly what we needed to wind down. The cabins were a little run-down but clean and had everything we needed.

Capo Santa fortunata is a truely beautiful villa with amazing views overlooking the sea, Naples and Sorrent. Teresa was very welcoming and organised our stay perfectly. Thank you Teresa! The property and the room were great and the garden like a little paradise. We were however a little disappointed because we stayed at the villa for 2 nights and one day and during the whole day there were preparations for a wedding happening on the weekend. For that reason we couldn’t use the pool and a part of the garden at all. It would have been nice to let us know about this in advance, as the room rate includes for guests to use all the amenities which in this case was not possible (the pool was covered with a tent). We would recommend staying here anyway, but would ask in advance about upcoming events.

The property and buildings are beautiful, the views are something of fantasy, and the staff made us feel like Millionaires. They treated us so well, had great conversations and suggestions on sights to see, things to do and places to eat. We stayed here for the last leg of our honeymoon, and this place made it the best leg.

My wife and I got married here, and to say it was beyond our wildest dreams would be an understatement. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Capo Santa Fortunata. It is a friendly family run B&B. Our room was generously sized and comfortable, with beautiful views. Breakfast was wonderful each morning, the staff delightful and very helpful. We would definately recommend this B&B, a relaxing place to soak up the atmosphere of Sorrento.

I would never stay anywhere else in sorrento. Just stayed with my toddler and husband in a suite with 3 balconies in the villa that felt like we we were staying in a wealthy family member’s home. The grounds are quiet dotted with sweet dogs, lemon and orange groves overlooking the sea. If I could do my wedding over I’d do it here. The house is authentically vintage and most importantly the staff treated us like family. The shower was one of the best I’ve had and we’ve stayed all over the world in 5 star hotels. I do recommend a car but another guest there said they liked the walk into downtown. The Villa is on a hiking path as well that leads to a hidden beach and Roman ruins. Marissa was a true stand out. She took special care of us and even stepped in to babysit in a pinch - but we loved all the staff and dogs. They are a warm, tranquil 5 star hidden gem to us!

This boutique hotel was in walking distance from all our tour meets, restaurants, and beaches in Sorrento. Fully air conditioned, incredible breakfast every morning, cleaning service every day. They make your coffee to order every morning, provided us with beach towels, 24/7 front desk. They even helped with arrange our airport transportation. A must-stay if you’re visiting Sorrento!!

This hotel might just be the most elegant place we've stayed in Europe. Originally a family home for generations, it's been transformed into a unique hotel where every room has a different theme and even an associated animal, we stayed in "the rooster" room! With a large group of 13 spread across 6 rooms, we were impressed by the spaciousness of both the rooms and the beds, and the strong air conditioning was a lifesaver in the July heat, which soared above 35°C. The staff were incredibly attentive, almost like mind readers, organizing all our restaurant reservations and outings as if we had our own private butler. Every place they booked for us was exceptional. I can't recommend this hotel enough. Breakfast, baked fresh by the family, was the best we've had in Europe, featuring delicious pastries, fresh eggs, cereal, jam, and excellent espresso. And the location couldn't be better it literally just 3 meters from Piazza Tasso, you're right in the heart of Sorrento, surrounded by all the top restaurants and must-visit sites. When in Sorrento, I highly recommend this hotel for: - Generous room size - Personal butler-like service - Incredible breakfast - Impeccable room cleanliness - Reasonably priced mini-bar - Exceptional friendliness of the owners and staff

I recently had the pleasure of staying in Palazzo Jannuzzi and it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the stunning views of Piazza Tasso. The town itself is charming, with its narrow, winding streets, vibrant piazzas, and beautiful historic buildings. My accommodation was fantastic, offering both comfort and elegance. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and well-equipped with modern amenities. I particularly enjoyed the balcony with its breathtaking view – a perfect spot for morning coffee or a glass of wine at sunset. Highly recommend!

The worst experience ever!!! Don’t come to this hotel!!!!!!!! We had pizza try left in our room, then we saw ants walking on our bed and around the room. Obviously we have talk with them about it and they told us that the housekeeper will check the cleaning even better from now, but the day after surprisingly we had in the bathroom a bunch of hair next to the toilet and the shower was clogged. How nice :) The service was awful there was nobody to talk with, they don’t care of their place. Do not even think to come here.

We are unable to travel to Sorrento due to Covid so we were given a voucher which was for a year. Our stay was suppose to be in July. We were told our voucher is good until March (which is not a year). They are not interested in discussing it. Toronto is still on second stage and we are not comfortable in travelling in March but later in the summer we are willing to, Over a week stay is a lot of money. If you they care about their customers they will try to do something for us.

We paid for a room with ptivate bathroom. Although we did have a private bathroom, we had to cross a shared kitchen to go from our roomto the bathroo, hence not super private. Moreover, the door was open and unlocked when we arrived, someone had always used the toilet which was disgusting.. on the property side, the room was not enough clean, nor was the bathroom. There was hair on the floorand black spots. The shower sends water evrywhere so the floor was super wet.

We had our trip booked back in 2020 when Covid hit so they gave us a voucher for a date that was good for them not us. How could we use a voucher for March when our flight was in July. They didn't care. I asked them to pls extend to next year because of this pandemic is still not safe to travel and they refused. So they took our money for a 6 day stay and refused to help us. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU ONLY THEMSELVES.

Awesome place to stay, walking distance to town, huge veranda with water views and comfy seating to enjoy the sunset with a cocktail. The rooms are so nice and we have a king bed. The staff everywhere are so friendly and polite. The matre'd at breakfast is so awesome. And the breakfast spread is delicious. They have fresh squeezed tangerine juice, as well as orange, pineapple, etc. But the tangerine is so good!

We had the privilege of staying here last week. The hotel had just reopened after undergoing a stunning renovation. The newly refurbished bedrooms are exquisite, with every detail carefully considered and beautifully executed. The staff were exceptional throughout our stay. We encountered a small issue with payment due to a delay from our travel agent, and they handled it with patience, kindness and complete professionalism. Nothing was too much trouble. All the staff were incredible, from the reception team, to the housekeeping staff , to the breakfast staff. We were always greeted with a smile and the service was amazing. A truly faultless experience from start to finish and we look forward to returning. Many thanks!

This hotel was amazing! The staff were friendly, and everyone made you feel comfortable and at home. The restaurant was so good also. My wife and I ate here on our last night in Sorrento and the food was to die for. The atmosphere was amazing with a live saxophone player to entertain us as we enjoyed a lovely meal with the most amazing views. Thank you to the team at the Grand Hotel Europa Palace. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything was spotless, modern, and beautifully maintained. We stayed here for the first part of our honeymoon and it was perfection! The hotel is in an amazing location which offers quiet serenity but close access to the main streets in Sorrento. Breakfast each morning on the beautiful terrace was a delight! The staff throughout the entire hotel were fantastic, and so kind. The beach area for hotel guests was never too crowded and offered the best location for a limoncello spritz. Hotel was also only a 10-15 min walk from the sorrento port making boat and ferry trips very easy. We cannot recommend this hotel more and are counting down the days until we can come back!

The Grand Hotel Europa Palace was the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in. We stayed for 5 nights on our honeymoon and were upgraded to a suite overlooking the water. The views, service, food, location and accommodations were all 10/10. We can't wait to go back again!

I knew that I booked an over average price hotel but, I expected the service to match the price. It didn't. Their breakfast is way below average. 2 out of the 3 days in which we had breakfast, they ran out of toast and croissant. When they cleaned the room, they FORGAT to put shampoo, body wash, coffee, tea and sugar. So I had to call the front desk. Their trowels were so worn-out, it came a piece of cloth.

We Visited in July 2025 and had a great time. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay—especially Antonio at the bar, who was always chatty, remembered our usual orders, and gave us some excellent recommendations for places to visit. The rooms and pool area were both clean and well-maintained, making it easy to relax and enjoy the stay. Breakfast was another highlight, with a great variety of options to choose from each morning. Big thanks as well to Antonio the bus driver—he was extremely helpful with directions and made getting around simple and stress-free. Overall, lovely views and a really enjoyable stay. Would happily come back!

Grand Hotel President was fine but we probably wouldn’t stay again. First, if it wasn’t for the free shuttle, the hotel would likely not survive. The views are spectacular but some at a cost. We stayed 6 nights in late September and it is about a 35-45 euro taxi ride each way to and from Sorrento. The shuttle was full most times and you will definitely need to plan for your ride. The drop off point is near hotel Ceasar Augusto which is about a 10 minute walk to the main piazza and a 20 minute walk to the ferries with lots of steps involved and not for the elderly. If you are arriving by ferry with luggage, you will definitely need a taxi to the hotel. It is just too many steps. The shuttle runs on the hour so you need to plan. We were disappointed that neither the hotels pool nor the jacuzzi were heated. For a semi warm hot tub, its 20 euro each person for two hours inside. We did a massage and hot tub afternoon for 200 euro for two. The breakfast is very good, but we never dined in the hotel. We chose to eat at the many great restaurants in Sorrento. The wine list at the bar was not very good. The room was small but adequate, we stayed in room 264 with a view of the parking lot. Some nights were chilly and the rooms have only central heating which was not turned on for the season. Id like to say that Antonio the shuttle driver was excellent and made the trip fun. Margarita the room maid was excellent and friendly. The staff were friendly. We would stay in Sorrento next time because of proximity and the city itself offers many great views. I would say that the hotel is over priced and barely four stars only for the view.

Grand Hotel President is in the perfect location, offering breathtaking views over Sorrento town and the sparkling sea. I truly believe it’s one of the best spots you could choose to stay in the area. The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle down to the heart of Sorrento, making it super easy to explore while still enjoying the peaceful, elevated setting. One of the highlights for me was the stunning rooftop bar—it’s the perfect place to unwind with a drink while taking in panoramic views of the coast. I was able to capture some amazing photos there—ideal for content or just unforgettable memories! The atmosphere throughout the hotel is warm and welcoming, with a touch of elegance. The staff are so friendly and attentive, always making you feel looked after. The food is absolutely delicious, with a great variety of fresh, local dishes that highlight the best of Italian cuisine. The pool area is beautifully kept, surrounded by gorgeous views, and the whole place has such a relaxing vibe. Whether you’re lounging in the gardens, sipping cocktails at sunset, or enjoying dinner on the terrace, everything adds to the experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back—Grand Hotel President is a true gem in Sorrento.

We had a great time at this hotel! The views are gorgeous and the staff was so helpful and accommodating. It’s not walkable to the center of Sorrento but the hotel provides a shuttle to the center every hour which was convenient. The only downside about this hotel was that the breakfast was not good- it was dirty (saw lots of hair in the food and on the tables).

The views are spectacular. The vast majority of staff particularly cleaning team and main restaurant staff are warm and welcoming. Food at breakfast is great. Good selection for everyone. There are a mixture of both couples and families with young ones. Staff are always great with young families and helping those that need it. Our biggest bug bear is not sleeping well. Very disappointed with the level of noise that could be heard through walls in the corridor and next door when you are in your room. Moved room still didn't make a difference. Spoke to other guests and they said the same. I will not be returning for that very reason. I want to sleep well on my holiday not feel shattered from not sleeping well. So it's a no from me. It would have been 1 star only but that would be unfair to the staff who are working hard in those areas I previously mentioned. Finally dont get hung up on the hotel star rating it's given. For me it doesn't feel like a 4 star at all. But that's my personal view and it's very country dependent.

My husband & I were celebrating our golden wedding year at this fantastic hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were exceptional esp in the dining room. The outlook from the hotel is fabulous & even more so from rooftop bar. Everywhere was spotless. Regular Shuttle bus service into town & possibly walkable if not limited mobility. Pool was spacious & sunbeds aplenty. All in all we would definitely return.

The hotel is beautiful, with an amazing location that offers stunning views of Sorrento. It’s a very peaceful place to stay. However, the prices for drinks at the hotel are quite expensive. Since there are no local shops or bars nearby, the hotel can charge whatever they like. For example, a lime soda costs 5 euros (compared to just 99 cents in supermarkets), and an Aperol Spritz is 13 euros, whereas it’s only 8 euros in bars in the main town. I’m happy to pay regular prices, but not inflated ones just because there’s no other choice.

Great stay. Stunning view, with Vesuvius in the background, making our stay even better. The bus wasn’t too long - about 8 minutes from the hotel to the drop off station and back. Also, the pool was cool for us, perfect for the heat. I would just say that it is quite deep for children to dive and swim. The breakfast room was fancy and food varied. Sausages, bread, cake, beans and drinks were amazing! Couldn’t think of more! The tables were layed out neatly and were amazed by the popularity in the room. We could not say ‘NO!’ to going to this hotel. We have 2 more days of our 8 day total stay, and this is so good! We would rate it more stars if we could, HONESTLY! So if you go to Italy, stop at Sorrento and go to the Grand Hotel Aminta! It was amazing; staff were friendly, great quality food and so much more! I am happy to recommend this place to all of you tourists From your favourite ❤️ guide!

Just back from another fantastic holiday at the Grand Aminta in Sorrento. It was just as special as our last holiday there in 2024. Special mention to all the wonderful staff who really make you feel welcome and build a rapport with their guests. Everyone was excellent from the pool guy, restaurant staff, bar staff and reception, nothing was ever too much trouble! I asked if it was possible to have a full length mirror in the room as noticed there wasn’t one and a mirror was fitted the very next day when we were at the pool. We also requested room service for our dinner a couple of times and again no problem whatsoever. Really great hotel with the most amazing setting and views over Naples, Mount Vesuvius and Capri. Only small bit of feedback I’d like to give is that we preferred it when the outside bar was open during the day, added to the daytime vibe, that said the drinks service from the inside bar was always excellent. Thanks everyone for another super holiday. We will be back again at some point in the future that’s for sure

Just returned from a 7 night stay at this beautiful hotel. Views of Vesuvius from our balcony/room gorgeous. Bus shuttle service to town only 8 mins and very reliable and regular. Staff fab. Breakfast restaurant beautiful setting with panoramic views of sorrento. Bar and terrace area magnificent views. Pool area very relaxing great music and pool attendant fab always helping without being asked. Interior of rooms and reception and lounge area fabulous and relaxing. Would definitely stay here if visiting Sorrento again.

We stayed here for several days. The room was clean, the view was excellent, and the breakfast was also very good. The hotel staff were very professional. They helped us with everything we asked for. The only downside is the location; we had to take a shuttle bus to get to downtown Sorrento. If you want easy access to downtown, this hotel may not be the best choice. For us, however, the trade-off was that it was quiet, which we were happy with. Perhaps this is an upside for travelers who are looking for a great view and a quiet location. The shuttle service was usually on time, so we just planned our downtown visits around its schedule. We very much enjoyed our stay here.

Came back last night from our 3rd stay at the Aminta. Absolutely wonderful time as always. The view is the obvious draw here,but the hidden jewel are the staff. Cant fault one of them. Always so welcoming helpful and friendly,especially Ernesto Lauren and the pool man whose name eludes me. I did prefer it when the pool bar seating and the bar was accessible during the day but appreciate the fact that many may like it this way round. . The hotel is spotless classic and so beautiful. We are going today to book again for next year.

Overall: A great hotel for those that enjoy hotel living, this is the kind of hotel you stay at and don’t leave from. A perfect quiet, romantic vacation spot far from the hustle and bustle. We especially enjoyed the DJ/disco nights, the pool, and the beautiful views overlooking the bay and sunset. Pros: Clean. Professional service. We loved the beautiful pool overlooking the bay, the poolside service, and our room had a gorgeous sunset view. I enjoyed the vanity area with the lights in our room, as there was minimal space in the bathrooms. Another highlight for amenities was the beautiful, large, jet tub. This was fantastic to enjoy after spending the day in the pool, or walking around downtown. The drinks from the bar were delicious, especially the French martini. The resident DJ was spinning amazing music on Thursday and Monday evenings, as lovers of live music, this was a lot of fun. Cons: One of the only hotels that didn’t give us any honeymoon/anniversary gift, like a bottle of wine or some fresh fruit. We didn’t love that the pool AND sauna closes at 7pm. For a hotel that caters to adults, it doesn’t make sense to close the sauna that early. My partner and I wanted to enjoy the sauna after being at the pool all day and they told us it was closed. The sun was barely setting. I can’t see anyone that would want to use the outdoor sauna that overlooks the beautiful sunset in the middle of the day. I hope staff realizes the huge missed opportunity to open the bar next to the sauna and let the sauna be open to adults until at least 10pm. That gives people 3hrs after sunset to enjoy the sauna with nighttime views, order a few drinks from the bar, then grab one or two more drinks after the sauna closes. Hopefully this will be open later in the future. We would have used it more if it were open when we wanted to use it. We also had an issue with wi-fi. Our wifi service and our TV that was connected to wifi continuously dropped and was very poor. When we brought it up to the owner, Jean Paul, he got a little bit defensive at first and was even arguing with me that “he checks the service for all the rooms, and his wifi works, we were the only ones complaining.” After more back-and-forth, he agreed to come with us to our room to test the wifi. Finally after seeing how horrible the wifi was for us and seeing that our TV kept dropping, he apologized and said he would get it fixed. When it was fixed, he found us by the pool and informed us it was fixed then asked for us to test it when we return to our room. I do appreciate the service and for getting our issue fixed. Another big issue for me was the shuttle bus. The buses are old, some of the seats are broken and held up with ropes (literally). The further you sit in the back, the more fumes you get from the gasoline being pumped out. This hotel is very far from downtown and there is a gap in the shuttle service hours. This is very important to be aware of. There are no laundromats, shops, beaches, or anything near this hotel, you have to walk or take a shuttle. For amenities, this hotel was one of the few that didn’t provide conditioner with their shampoo. There were no bathrobes either. The shower door was very odd, and hardly worked. If we took a shower and tried closing it, water would still spray everywhere, on the floor, and onto the toilet seat. I also did not like the suction cup floor mat on the bottom of the showers. It collected dirt and grime and was uncomfortable to sit on when using the bath tub. For the breakfast buffet, all of the juice and fruit was canned. This was extremely disappointing considering the fresh fruit and juice around. It’s not difficult to get fresh squeezed juice, or even offer some fresh lemonade to highlight the lemons in the area.

Just back from 8 nights at the Aminta & we loved it! Beautiful position with amazing views . Excellent, friendly staff , always welcoming. Particular mention to Peitro who was delightful, and professional. Restaurant Maitre d 's made the whole evening experience lovely too. Regular pool attendant requires a mention as hes so caring & never stops . Shuttle bus essential thank you. We did walk the steep route down into Sorrento several times , the views are brilliant . Walking back up is harder in the heat ! Missed just being able to walk a promenade or similar after dinner , cannot walk anywhere around hotel roads . We would definitely recommend Aminta & return one day.

Wow!! This is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. It is in a prime location with beautiful rooftop view , bar and swimming pool. Breakfast buffet is included and was spectacular with omelet/egg station, fresh fruits, and every European pastry you could imagine. We ate at their elegant gourmet restaurant one night and it was original and delicious, melt in your mouth beef Wellington. The rooms had every amenity from hairdryer, turn down service, bidet and a towel warming rack! Great air conditioning, fully stocked minibar with reasonable prices and a beautiful balcony. This really made our first European vacation a dream!

We had an amazing stay at Grand Hotel La Favorita! The property is beautiful, perfectly located, and has an elegant yet welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were spotless, the views stunning, and the rooftop pool was the perfect place to relax after exploring Sorrento. A special mention goes to Teresa, whose customer service was outstanding. She went above and beyond to make sure everything about our stay was perfect — from helpful recommendations to her warm, genuine hospitality. She truly made us feel at home and added a personal touch that made our visit unforgettable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly be going back. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were large and beds extremely comfortable. Staff is always at your service with a smile. Turn down service is provided in the evenings whilst you are out for dinner. WhatsApp service with the receptionists, too. Excellent breakfasts. The rooftop pool was so relaxing and the staff are always ensuring you are comfortable and in the shade without you having to lift a finger. Could not recommend highly enough.

This was our favorite hotel and experience this trip to Italy! There were 6 of us traveling, we had adjoining balconies which was so fun to play cards, enjoy an appetizer and glass of wine befor heading out for the evening..... The grounds are absolutely beautiful, roof top pool and restaurant spectacular! Loved looking straight out at Mt. Vesuvius and the city, closing out the day with stunning sunsets. Food was very good, HOWEVER, very disappointed that they use SEED OILS in their cooking (cancer causing). When asking the chef why, he responded, "Because it's cheap." This is the land of olive oil! We really liked this place. Service was excellent, food was great, and breakfast was solid. The rooftop bar has amazing views and was a highlight of our stay. The only downside? The beds are extremely firm—if you like a softer mattress, you might notice.

The driver they organised was coming from Rome. * Said they will talk to a taxi cab outside the station they spoke to the taxi and costed us 200 euros. * Taxi was not a good experience. Had torn up leather seats , luggage was hitting us in the back. Driver was nice but we did not feel comfortable. *180 euros gets a nice Mercedes van with other hotels we went with and they organise it for you. *They were very apologetic and sincere about it which I appreciated. Gave us limoncello and stale pastries . 10 % off zest . Would have preferred a reimbursement for the bad taxi experience. *Morning breakfast was mostly not fresh. Stuck with oats most of the time. *There was loud banging dishes , and kitchen rummaging . Glad I bought ear plugs. *Upon arrival no one gave us a map. Did offer later on but for us we had no time to go up to the desk as we had other activities. *View was not good *5 star hotel did not match expectations. Paid nearly $4500 Australian for four days for that experience.

We didn't stay here because unfortunately, they were all booked up... but we made a special trip to the hotel to go to the rooftop bar/restaurant for afternoon Prosecco and espresso. Beautiful and elegant. Perfect place to spend an hour and enjoy the amazing view!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room had a beautiful view of the sea and Mount Vesuvius in the distance, truly breathtaking! The rooms have everything you need, and are comfortable with modern fittings in the bathroom. It is far from the city centre however this makes the hotel more charming in my opinion, and they have a complimentary shuttle service which runs frequently from the hotel to the city centre. All the staff were lovely and helpful, which was great. The breakfast could possibly have more hot savoury items, as there are lots of cakes/sweets, however it is still a good offering. Thank you for our wonderful stay! Update: We gad to leave at 4am for a flight and they provided us with a packed breakfast which I thought was a really lovely touch. Very kind!

We stayed at Hotel Cristina for 3 nights but I wish it had of been a week! It is truly a beautiful hotel but the staff makes it so special. I can't say enough good things about the staff. The beds are comfortable and our room was cleaned each day. It was a shuttle into the main part of town. The view from our room was absolutely beautiful. The breakfast was delicious with so much to chose from. If we come back to Sorrento, we will stay here again. Special shout out to outstanding staff Chiara at the front desk and Francesco that made our stay special.

⸻ Wonderful Stay at Hotel Cristina – Stunning Views & Excellent Service I recently stayed at Hotel Cristina in Sorrento for four nights with five friends, and overall, we had a fantastic experience. I booked directly with the hotel, and everything was managed seamlessly from start to finish. I was extremely happy with the level of service. We had two beautiful rooms with balconies overlooking the sea – the views were absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset. While the rooms themselves were a bit small, this seems common across many Italian hotels. There was a slight muggy smell initially in our room, but this was quickly resolved by keeping the balcony doors open and letting the fresh air in. The beds and pillows were on the firmer side, and personally, I would have preferred something softer for more comfort. That said, the rooms and bathrooms were spotlessly clean, with daily changes of bedding, fresh towels, and even pool towels, which was greatly appreciated. The staff were exceptional throughout our stay – from reception to the breakfast and dinner service, everyone was friendly, professional, and welcoming. Breakfast, which was included, offered a lovely variety of hot and cold options, plus fresh coffee each morning. We also enjoyed dinner at the hotel, which was not only delicious but came with an incredible view overlooking Naples and Mount Vesuvius. The terraces and pool area were excellent – a great place to relax during the day. It was a special trip to celebrate my 40th birthday, and the hotel made it extra memorable by decorating the room with balloons and leaving a complimentary bottle of bubbles – such a thoughtful gesture. The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus that runs frequently between the hotel and Sorrento’s main bus station, which is a very convenient central point for reaching the town, beach, and port. There’s also fresh drinking water available in reception, and overall, the hotel felt very safe and comfortable. I would definitely recommend Hotel Cristina to anyone looking for a relaxing stay with stunning views and warm hospitality in Sorrento.

Hotel Cristina was amazing. The views were spectacular. You could see Vesuvius, the area surrounding Sorrento and the bay of Naples. The rooms were gorgeous with a large private balcony. Amazing air conditioning. The room was so cold every night (which is rare for Italy). Great restaurant with amazing food. Breakfast was included every morning with a wonderful variety of foods. They also serve snacks, lunch, and dinner- all of which was incredible (better than the food in town and some of the best meals we ate). But most importantly the staff was friendly and the highlight of every day (especially the concierge, chiara, Francesco, Anna- among many others). The owner was lovely. Will definitely return.

Stunning Views and the Perfect Launchpad for Amalfi Adventures This year, we wanted to stay right in Sorrento—a lively town with easy ferry access to Amalfi, Positano, Capri, and Naples. Marina Piccola 73 checked all our boxes, especially our #1 priority: a sea view at an affordable price. The hotel sits right on the marina, so if you’re heading up into Sorrento town (which sits on the plateau above), be prepared for either a 10-minute walk to the elevator or a climb up about 200 feet of stairs. Due to availability, we had the unique opportunity to experience three different rooms during our stay, and honestly, it turned out to be a fun way to compare the views and vibes of each! Superior Room with Balcony This was our first room—a balcony facing the marina, perfect for people-watching as ferries come and go. The bay and Mount Vesuvius views from here were unbeatable. Superior Room The second room had large windows instead of a balcony, still offering great sea views. Although slightly blocked by the balcony of the first room, it was still an excellent value. The Suite This was hands down the best room in the house—featuring a large terrace with a couch and table, perfect for relaxing with a book and a glass of wine against the backdrop of the bay and Mount Vesuvius. The suite also had a huge bathroom and felt the most spacious overall. Unfortunately, this was our final night, and we had an early flight, so we didn’t get to fully enjoy it as much as we would’ve liked. The breakfast here was delicious—offering both sweet and savory options, fresh coffee, and juice each morning. If we return to Sorrento (and we hope to!), we’d happily stay at Marina Piccola 73 again.

We had the absolute BEST time at this hotel, and recommend it to everyone!! Every person working here really cares about the place and their craft, including the hosts, breakfast chef, and the bartender. Amazing location right next to a little beach with easy walking into the city and a beautiful terrace overlooking the port. Even had a hotel cat and dog! One of our favourite hotels we’ve ever stayed in

Had a wonderful stay here back in 2023! The staff were wonderful and so friendly. We even got given the room in the tower which was so cool. We could even see Mount Vesuvius from our room. Also a short walk away to the ferry to get back to Naples. The breakfast spread was great too! Would definitely recommend!!

We loved our stay in the apartment at Marina Piccola 73. Large, comfortable space with air conditioning, a kitchen and washing machine. The location is very convenient to use the ferries if you are traveling around the coast. We utilized the elevator as well as the bus that will take you to the city center. We loved the rooftop bar with gorgeous views of the marina and super friendly bartender. I would absolutely stay here again if visiting Sorrento. I’m not sure how we lucked out that it was available. There is a coffee shop immediately downstairs for a quick coffee before you head out for the day. Also a pizza place that is recommended by the hosts ( we did not eat there ). It was our best accommodation while visiting Italy.

I can not say enough about our stay. Views were beautiful! Very clean property. Staff went out of their way to accomodate you. The chef at breakfast was excellent. Highly suggest choosing this property for your next vacation.

We loved this hotel for our wedding weekend! We booked the suite with the private terrace and it was exactly as pictured! We had the most delicious breakfast each morning and loved how the hotel was tucked away from the business of the city. 10/10 recommend!

What a perfect stay. Wonderful hotel in Marina Piccola, away from the port crowds but within walking distance to all of the action. We stayed for 7 days in early September and were so comfortable and relaxed. The rooms are beautiful and very clean (as well as having a great AC unit, iron, hair dryer, safe, mini-bar and mini-fridge). The room had a balcony overlooking the water where we could watch the boats and port activity, as well as see the fireworks, enjoy the amazing view of Mount Vesuvius and hear the waves at night. The hotel staff are INCREDIBLE - the owners Roberta and Alice were so kind, helpful and responsive, as well as Mariarita. They arranged our transfer from Rome to Sorrento which was such a huge help, as well as making dinner reservations for us which was much appreciated. There is an amazing terrace overlooking the water where we had breakfast made by the amazing and talented Donatella, as well as delicious drinks in the evening made by Vincenzo who was also so kind and gracious. Absolutely loved it and would stay here next time without question. 5+++ stars.

First class service from the minute you arrive. Food excellent, pool fabulous. Very relaxed atmosphere. Bed really comfortable and hotel quiet at night so slept well. Every member of staff goes above and beyond to ensure a wonderful trip. Beautiful garden to sit in. Would definitely return and highly recommend.

We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel in Sorrento after a last minute transfer, and it turned out to be one of the best surprises of our trip. The hotel exceeded all our expectations. We were able to experience three different rooms during our stay, and each one was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly maintained, a real testament to the high standards of cleanliness. The breakfast was outstanding, with plenty of variety and everything fresh and delicious. The pool is large, very clean, and a wonderful place to relax. What truly makes this hotel special, though, is the team. The staff were consistently kind, attentive, and professional. A special thanks goes to the manager, Mr. Massimo, for his warm hospitality and dedication to making our stay exceptional.

The staff were super lovely and helpful checking in and offered us a cot for the baby, which we really appreciated. The room had a couch that turned into bunk beds for our other kiddo, as well. We were able to leave our car after check out and take the shuttle into Sorrento for a day trip and then picked it up that evening. Parking is tight but doable. The pool was rather chilly, especially the kiddie pool, but it was still a good time, and even though our room didn't come with a view, we were still able to see the water/sunset. Oh, and the water pressure was amazing.

The hotel is located and set back into the mountains from the main road. Views from the hotel are scenic and look out to sea, beautiful sunsets. The hotel is managed well, the staff are all wonderful, willing to help and assist at every opportunity. The room we stayed in was with the sea view, balcony with loungers, great sun trap. The room was clean, tidy and offered quietness. Food and house wines offered were good too. The house wines were 13 Euros, great tasting, easy to drink too. Drinks menu offered a variety of drinks at reasonable prices. Pool is maintained clean, and I do mean clean. Loungers, each has a sun shade! Blue clean towels provided. Pool bar and snack bar. On pricing, you do pay a tourist tax, 4 Euros each day for the first 7 days, on the 8th and longer no further charges. Overall, a lovely place to stay, because of the location, the hotel provides a bus into Sorrento, leaves on the hour, and takes 12 minutes, so the pick up is the same point as dropped off. Easy then to trundle down into the picturesque town. Italian drivers cars and mopeds are plenty, be aware of your surroundings when crossing the roads, even on pedestrian crossings! Love the area being a great location to Positano, Almalfi and Rovello, a must trip, beautiful. We booked ours with the hotel, only 8 people max to a smaller vehicle, given vehicular access to the narrow streets. 115.00 Euro with a lunch and a variety of food and drinks, our guide, Mariano Morvillo The guide lives in Sorrento and out of season travels the World too. Very knowledgeable and educated to give you the best experience in a small group. Have a lovely holiday should you visit.

We were very excited for this holiday and from the moment we arrived the older man on the reception said to visit his friends restaurant for a simple meal cost us €450 in a no view, no prime location when we asked for pizza but the hotel check in had closed. Next the room constantly had ants in, all the time, even in the bed everyday. Then night staff was so extremely rude when I had a transfer issue when he could see I was rang at 5am and this was incorrect, he just said no English rudely and didn’t try to help us. The staff were below poor. Shame as one pool staff member was amazing and the lady at the reception, the rest are extremely rude and as if they are doing you a favour. I worked in hospitality for 10 years before my current occupation, and I expected them to be accommodating.

Excellent hotel in the outskirts of Sorrento. It was in a beautiful area. The hourly shuttle bus down into Sorrento was a godsend! We wouldn’t recommend walking down, the road was very busy ! We are so glad we opted for the seaview rooms ! Great to sit and watch the boats and great sunsets !

the hotel was very dingy, dark and lacked cold water in the showers most of the time. The wifi didnt work in the rooms and we were unable to get cell service. The maid service stole money out of our room, as there was no safe provided and the hotel refused to do anything about this, honestly not sure why they even have a maid service as all they do is make the bed and apparently rob you. Would not recommend.

The hotel is not very luxurious, and a bit dirty. The pool was nice however. The host was very kind to us. The view from the dining room was absolutely breathtaking. We had a great time here!

If i was possible to give zero stars i would. Truly the most disgusting "hotel" I have ever been to... If you could even call it a hotel. I would not let my dogs stay here.
