Bosphorus is a strait that separates Europe and Asia, offering unique city views on boat tours. The Bakirkoy Istanbul area is conveniently accessible via various transportation routes, including the E5 highway and the Metrobus Expressway. It also boasts a metro connection to the center of Istanbul. Additionally, it features renowned eateries that showcase Istanbul's diverse culinary scene, from classic Turkish breakfasts to fresh seafood from the Bosphorus and delectable baklava.
Nice to visit and stroll, even if you don't take a ferry or cruise. But the pavement is reflective and hot, so wear a cap or bring an umbrella.

We did a cruise on the Bosphorus Strait which separates Istanbul into 2 continents, Asia and Europe. There are some very nice sites along the shore including the last Palace of the Sultans.

The Bosphorus Bridge (15 July Martyrs Bridge) is truly one of the most beautiful suspension bridges in the world. Its stunning design, breathtaking views of Istanbul, and impressive structure make it a must-see landmark for anyone visiting the city.
Abdullah A — Google review
I visited Istanbul in 2022 and took a ferry across the Bosphorus for a very affordable price to go to Kadiköy for my cousin’s wedding dress. It was such a nice moment, the view was stunning and there was even a singer performing ,making the trip even more enjoyable. There are also dinner cruises with live shows on the Bosphorus, definitely something I’ll try next Time !
Maimouna S — Google review
When it comes to experiencing Istanbul’s enchanting charm, few activities can rival a sunset cruise on the Bosphorus. On my recent trip, I had the pleasure of booking this incredible journey through the Istanbul E-pass, which included authentic Turkish snacks. It turned out to be a perfect blend of breathtaking views, delicious treats, and unforgettable moments.Planning a sunset cruise on the Bosphorus was hassle-free, thanks to the Istanbul E-pass. The iconic landmarks of Istanbul, the Dolmabahçe Palace, Ortaköy Mosque, and the Bosphorus Bridge looked even more majestic under the warm evening light. The cruise offered panoramic views of both the European and Asian sides of the city, giving a unique perspective of Istanbul’s duality. What made this cruise stand out wasn’t just the views or the snacks, it was the overall vibe. One particularly unforgettable moment was standing at the edge of the boat, feeling the wind on my face as I admired the glittering skyline. It was a moment of pure bliss and connection with the city. The Istanbul Bosphorus sunset cruise was a highlight of my trip, offering an evening filled with beauty, culture, and enjoyment. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a seasoned traveler, this cruise is a must-do to experience the soul of Istanbul.

A must visit if you are in Istanbul. Incredible view. Bosphorus divided Turkey into Europe and Asia sides. Must take a luxury yacht ride. It is very affordable but not lacking the luxury
KK — Google review
The Bosphorus, also known as the Strait of Istanbul, is a natural waterway in Turkey that separates Europe and Asia. It connects the Black Sea to the Sea of Marmara and serves as a critical passage for international maritime trade. We took a cruise along the Bosphorus and were captivated by the breathtaking views. The blend of historic sites and contemporary architecture was truly mesmerizing. The experience of sailing between two continents was unforgettable, making the Bosphorus a must-see destination for any visitor to Istanbul.
Highway V — Google review
Had a beautiful experience in the Bosphorus area and cruising through it. We did the cruise in the evening time from when it was bright under the sun till it got dark and the shades changed into night lights. Would definitely recommend, both sides of the Bosphorus have lots of iconic monuments and views to watch out for.

Galata Tower, a restored 14th-century tower in Istanbul, offers breathtaking views of the city from its top-floor restaurant. Situated in a central location near Istiklal Avenue, it provides easy access to the vibrant Galata neighborhood with its boutique cafes, colorful streets, and music instrument shops. The tower's cylindrical shape and panoramic views make it a must-visit attraction for families and travelers exploring Istanbul.
Galata Tower Review - A Must-Visit Landmark with a Few Drawbacks Visiting Galata Tower was an absolutely wonderful experience! The panoramic views from the top are breathtaking, offering a 360-degree glimpse of Istanbul’s unique blend of history and modernity. Inside, the exhibitions were well-curated, featuring everything from ancient amphorae to Ottoman naval models, and even modern Turkish aerospace history. The newly renovated interior dome and observation deck were elegant and peaceful, despite the number of visitors. However, I must point out a few **frustrations** that may affect your visit: Misleading “Skip-the-Line” Ticket - I purchased my ticket through Headout, which was advertised as a “skip-the-line” option. Unfortunately, this was not true. I still had to queue with everyone else - no separate line or fast entry - even though others who bought directly from the official site paid less. It felt unfair and misleading. No Shelter While Queuing - Another downside was the **lack of shelter** outside while waiting to enter. If you’re visiting on a rainy or very hot day, **be prepared**—there’s absolutely no cover while you stand in line. Summary: Highlights: Historic tower, great exhibits, stunning city view Ticket tip: Buy from the official Galata Kulesi site instead of third-party vendors Be prepared: Arrive early, wear comfy shoes, and check the weather Would I still recommend it? Absolutely yes—but go in knowing what to expect.
Lee — Google review
This medieval stone tower is one of the great symbols of the city. It is very beautiful to observe from the outside, especially when the lights come on at dusk, which creates a special atmosphere. The climb up to it, depending on the route, is quite steep, so prepare your legs, but the effort is worth it. The most famous street for taking that classic photo with the tower in the background is Büyük Hendek Cd., but be prepared: it is usually super crowded. I didn't go inside, but the visit is paid, and the ticket currently isn't the cheapest for tourists. In any case, just its external architecture, with the conical roof, is already impressive.
Luana B — Google review
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆☆☆☆☆☆☆♡♡♡♡♡♡♡ A timeless icon in the heart of Istanbul! The Galata Tower is an absolute must-see. Originally built in 1348 during the Genoese colony period and once called the Christea Turris (Tower of Christ), it’s now 677 years old—and still standing strong. The views from the top are breathtaking, and the history woven into its stones makes the experience unforgettable. Whether you're a history buff or just looking for a great photo op, this landmark delivers. Another bucket list!
Connected_to_culture — Google review
Galata Tower is a beautiful and truly historic landmark that offers a wonderful glimpse into Istanbul’s past. The tower and its surroundings are charming, and the view from the top is definitely worth seeing. The area is always lively and full of energy — even on weekdays, it can get quite crowded. There are plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby, offering a wide variety of food and drinks, which makes it a great spot to spend an afternoon exploring and relaxing. The only downside is that the place could use a bit more attention when it comes to cleanliness — some corners aren’t as tidy as they should be. Still, it’s a must-visit attraction and an unforgettable part of Istanbul’s charm.
Mahmoud D — Google review
Galata Tower rises proudly over Istanbul’s skyline, a timeless stone guardian watching centuries of history unfold. Standing at the edge of Beyoğlu and overlooking the Golden Horn, this cylindrical medieval tower is not merely an architectural treasure but a symbol of the city’s layered soul—Byzantine roots, Genoese influence, Ottoman legacy, and the vibrant pulse of modern Türkiye all converge here. Approaching the tower through narrow cobbled streets, lined with cafés and antique shops, instantly sets the mood: an old-world charm meets youthful, artistic energy. The moment you enter, the structure’s thickness and cool stone transport you back in time. The elevator and short stair climb bring you to one of Istanbul’s most unforgettable viewpoints. The panoramic terrace offers a breathtaking 360-degree view—Sultanahmet’s domes and minarets shimmering across the Bosphorus, the Bosphorus Bridge stretching like a silver thread, and Galata’s rooftops cascading down to the water. Each direction feels like a painting: ferries cutting through the strait, seagulls gliding over golden sunsets, and the distinct hum of the city blending with the call to prayer. Visiting near dusk is particularly magical—soft orange light, a gentle breeze, and that indescribable moment when Istanbul feels suspended between old and new worlds. No visit to Galata Tower is complete without reflecting on the legendary story of Hezarfen Ahmet Çelebi, the daring Ottoman aviation pioneer. According to historical chronicles, in the 17th century he attached wooden wings inspired by bird flight, leaped from Galata Tower, and glided across the Bosphorus—landing in Üsküdar. Whether this tale is myth or early engineering brilliance, it embodies the innovative spirit, ambition, and courage deeply woven into Turkish history. Standing atop the tower, imagining that flight from stone battlement to Asian shores, adds a poetic dimension to the experience. Inside, curated displays and multimedia elements recount Galata Tower’s transformation—from a medieval watchtower to an observatory, a prison, and eventually one of Istanbul’s most treasured landmarks. The café and restaurant provide a pleasant pause, though the true feast remains the view itself. Ultimately, Galata Tower is more than a monument; it is a living narrative of Istanbul. It whispers ancient stories yet feels endlessly alive, a meeting point between dreamers and history. For travelers seeking a place where legend, beauty, and imagination converge, Galata Tower—and the spirit of Hezarfen—offer an experience that lingers long after you descend its steps.
Cromex S — Google review
A wonderful view of Istanbul from the top. You get a lift up and than can take the stairs through various museums on the way down. Treat yourself to the best San Sébastien Cake from Viyana Kahvesi. One piece of advice is that the ticket office may charge you for the audio tour package which they then give you cheap ear pods to avail of the audio tour. This just makes your visit cost more, and is not needed. Make sure just to pay for access tickets only (prices are shown). Read up on it or read the many posters in the tower to learn about it.
Iain M — Google review
A great historical place when you climb to the top you can see historic Istanbul A place worth visiting Climbing to the top of the tower is not free. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. I highly recommend visiting it when visiting the beautiful city of Istanbul. Nearby there are important areas such as Taksim Square and Galata Port
Ali A — Google review
Galata Tower is one of the most iconic spots in Istanbul. You can go up for a small fee and enjoy the views, but honestly, the whole area around it is just as special. The streets are lively, filled with people, food, and great vibes. Right in front of the tower is the famous Viyana Kahvesi, which has some of the best cheesecake you’ll ever try. If you’re taking a taxi, they can drop you close, but there’s no direct parking by the tower, you’ll need to walk a short distance. Overall, it’s a must-visit area for both the view and the atmosphere.

Arter is a non-profit contemporary art center that was established in 2010 as part of the Vehbi Koc Foundation. It is housed in a visually striking building located on Istanbul's main shopping street. The center showcases modern art through rotating exhibitions, featuring works from the foundation's collection as well as solo and group presentations by both Turkish and international artists.
So I went to this gallery today and truly enjoyed it because the exhibitions are very informative and inspiring. Toilets are very clean, the cafeteria downstairs is fairly priced, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. It has about six or seven floors, but for my trips Time only exhibitions at three floors were available priced at 200 Turkish liras I think this gallery is much more affordable than Istanbul modern art gallery. I wish they turned down the hitting a little bit. The lockers were available and are very easy to use. during the weekday There were very few people.

I could spend a whole day here! The ticket wasn’t very expensive and there is so much to see!! The art works are phenomenal!! 🤍
Basil A — Google review
Very nice museum with a variety of exhibits. The cafe, restaurant, and book store are very nice as well. We were glad we ventured to this part of town and spent a half day enjoying the art. It sparked good conversation and we both loved and hated the different exhibits, exactly what art should do.
Alex M — Google review
Spacious modern building makes the visit a great experience. Staff is very nice and helpful. Arter Bookstore is also very nice with a selection of publications on art, social sciences, non-fiction and children's books. Have also a coffee break at Divan pub.

The exhibits are nice. Everything is calm so you can take your time to see and take pictures. The staff is very helpful even in english. At the start you can get a little lost bewteen floors but is not a big place so you can wander around a bit and eventually figure out the entrance to the next exhibit, or just ask someone, there's always someone there to help.

(+) Arter is my go-to gallery in Istanbul. They constantly change exhibitions, and my visit lasted about 3 hours. The building architecture is amazing, and personnel are very helpful. The gallery includes a library and a bookstore. I recommend becoming a member even if you visit only a few times every year. They have lockers for your backpacks, and they even have a free shuttle that takes you to Taksim and another city location. The exhibition curatorship is great also featuring several contemporary artists. (-) My only disappointment was that the cafeteria is very slow to cook your food. I have to wait about 35 or 40 minutes for a simple Cacio e Pepe pasta, not the first time this has happened, even when there are no people waiting for their meals.
Ramsés O — Google review
Very nice building from architecture perspective but the exhibition itself was very weak. 2 floors were closed so the amount of 'art' was very low.

Tophane-İ Amire Culture and Art Center, a former cannon foundry built during the Ottoman era, now serves as a modern exhibition hall. The building's red brick and white stone construction with large arches provides an impressive backdrop for contemporary art exhibitions. Visitors can explore rotating displays of eclectic modern art in the lower levels of the center. Additionally, the venue hosts various events such as fashion exhibitions featuring designs from international and Turkish designers.
A Perfect Blend of History and Art! Tophane-i Amire Culture and Art Center is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to immerse themselves in both Istanbul’s rich history and its vibrant cultural scene. Located in the heart of the city, this historical gem dates back to the Ottoman Empire and was originally constructed as a cannon foundry (tophane) in the 15th century during the reign of Sultan Mehmed II, The Conqueror. The historical significance of Tophane-i Amire is immense. It served as a vital part of the Ottoman Empire's military infrastructure, playing a key role in the production of artillery and weapons for centuries. Today, this architectural masterpiece stands as a testament to the grandeur and ingenuity of Ottoman engineering and craftsmanship. The vaulted ceilings and imposing stonework echo its historical purpose while creating an inspiring space for contemporary art and culture. One of the standout exhibitions recently hosted here was the Sebastião Salgado exhibition, which drew art enthusiasts from all over the world. Salgado’s breathtaking photography, displayed within the walls of this historic venue, created a profound dialogue between art, humanity, and history. The combination of Salgado’s powerful works and the grandeur of the setting made for an unforgettable experience. Now repurposed as a cultural and art center, Tophane-i Amire regularly hosts a variety of exhibitions, events, and performances that bring history and creativity together. The carefully curated art exhibits are diverse and engaging, ranging from traditional Turkish art to modern global installations. The center's transformation from a military hub to a cultural hotspot symbolizes Istanbul’s timeless ability to evolve and embrace its rich heritage. The space is immaculately preserved, and the staff are knowledgeable and passionate about sharing its historical and cultural importance. Whether you're an art lover, history enthusiast, or curious traveler, Tophane-i Amire Culture and Art Center offers an experience that is both enriching and unforgettable. It’s a place where the past and present come together beautifully. Don’t miss it!
Sermin S — Google review
The art exhibition was not that interesting to me. The historical building, on the other hand, was amazing. It is really worth to visit, even if you are not into art, only to admire the building. On top of that it is free.

Tophane-i Amire was the former Imperial Armory where cannons and cannonballs were made. After a brief restoration it was opened to the public as an exhibition center. While I'm not always particularly happy with their exhibition selections, I really enjoy the overall atmosphere. The venue is in walking distance to many other museums and galleries.

The old cannon factory serves as an art museum now, and currently houses previously unpublished works by renowned photographer Steve McCurry. Excellent use of the space and the pieces are evocative and diverse. Must see for anyone who appreciates photography. 500TL per person, must use QR code on site or buy through museum's website, no wait or queue, could be done in 30-60 mins.
Chris A — Google review
The building itself looks amazing and offers views of the area on different levels. We were lucky (in a way) to visit on a Sunday when the Istanbul marathon was taking place, so the main road was closed to traffic. The main entrance is in the wall along the street (that used to be full of depot-like shops that sold fishing equipment and guns). A security man was sitting at a desk, but did not greet us as we entered. We hesitated to see which way we should go after which the security man shouted directions... Up the steps (there's an elevator which seems to be out of order, or disfunctional) to the first level where we stopped to take in some views. Opposite is the (temporarily closed) Tophane Kasrı (Tophane Pavilion) and the splendid Nusretiye Camii. Up another level, and then as I remember, one more set of steps to reach the entrance to the exhibition. Two ladies and a man blocking the entrance sitting next to a stand with a QR code which people were scanning. This takes you to a website where you have to sign up to become a member before being able to purchase a ticket - apparently there's no other way to get a ticket, so we decided not to proceed to the exhibition - not because we refuse to pay entrance, but because of the apparent inefficiency and inconvenience of not being able to buy a ticket on site. Had ticket sales been placed at the bottom entrance, and had tickets been purchasable as at any other exhibition or museum at the welcome desk, then we would have had a much more pleasant visit. Back down the steps it was, but this time I chose to use the ramps, which are rather steep. I can't imagine any wheelchair user being able to control themselves on the inclines, and even with assistance it would be seemingly hair-raising! Loved the building, but sort out your PR and approach to visitors feeling welcome.

The PTT Museum, housed in the historic Sirkeci PTT building, is a stunning example of 16th century Ottoman-style architecture designed by Vedat Tek. This grand structure, constructed from stone and marble, stands as one of the first representations of the 1st National Architecture Movement. Although currently closed for restoration, visitors can look forward to exploring its 3200 m2 interior filled with postal service artifacts, stamps, telegraphs and telephones once it reopens.
Beautiful architectural building located in the center of Sirkeci which is the largest post office in Turkey. It was built of stone and marble, with an Ottoman-style decoration that took five years to construct, and was opened in 1909. Above the entrance gate one can see on the ceramic tiles an inscription written in the Ottoman language "Ministry of Post and Telegraph". The building is impressive and well worth a visit.

Temporarily closed for restoration, the museum in the 1909 central post office is well worth waiting for. Fans of architect Vedat Tek will once again have an excuse to gaze at the late-Ottoman building's elegant curves and angles. At the far end of the building, the museum's marble staircase, with its star apertures and marble beams, leads up to exhibits of stamps, stiff mannequins of postmen and early telephones. Contemporary Istanbul, Turkey's largest international art market, is set to take place at the new venue, Tersane Istanbul. The event will feature over 85 galleries and 650 artists from Turkey and around the world. While some visitors found it challenging to navigate to the location, once there, they appreciated its charm and proximity to the Golden Horn. It's important to note that Contemporary Istanbul is not a permanent exhibition but rather an annual art fair that takes place for a specific period of time.
it was very crowded but such a fun experience tickets are expensive. The fact that the feri was included in the ticket is very cool. Amazing experience

Location very hard to get to, at least if you want to walk to get there. Google maps is taking you through a construction site which is blocked, is you searching for Istanbul Contemporary google will take you in another location so pretty bad organized at least from this perspective. On the other hand, when you get there its a nice location, similar to Arsenale in Venice but of course smaller. The fair as a whole was super nice. 👍👍

The fair is very well located. It has good parking. Great area. I enjoyed the fair had good business over there. Made a lot of business opportunities over there and had a really great time. However, there are certain things that needs to be changed in the fair wants to go international standard number one they need to have washrooms of the world class that is first thingsecond thing they need to improve the marking of all the exhibition hall so that the new visitor can go around easily help at every area or in a manner that is visible, not hidden number four the staff over there who are part of the fair should be very well organized, and be ready to help with the multi lingual approach. They should not be busy playing among themselves or on their mobiles, but focusing on the people.

Feedback on F Istanbul Food Exhibition As an exhibitor at the recent F Istanbul Food Exhibition, I feel compelled to share my significant disappointment regarding the organization and execution of the event. While I invested considerable time, effort, and financial resources to participate, the exhibition fell far short of our expectations and yielded minimal return. My primary concern revolves around the visitor attendance, which was critically low. It appears the organizers implemented policies that actively deterred potential attendees, most notably the prohibitive 2000 TL entrance fee for visitors. This high cost drastically limited public access, directly impacting the footfall at our booths and diminishing the opportunities for exhibitors to engage with prospective clients and achieve their business objectives. It became evident throughout the event that the organizers' priority was revenue generation over fostering a beneficial environment for exhibitors. This focus on maximizing profits at the expense of exhibitor success is deeply concerning. Furthermore, I must highlight issues concerning the service attitude of some staff members. There were instances of unhelpful and exclusionary behavior directed towards foreign exhibitors, particularly those who did not speak Turkish. This lack of multilingual support and welcoming conduct created an unwelcoming atmosphere and hindered effective communication, adding to the overall frustration. In conclusion, the F Istanbul Food Exhibition, from an exhibitor's perspective, was a considerable letdown. The combination of exorbitant visitor fees, low attendance, a perceived profit-first mentality from the organizers, and inadequate support for international participants makes it highly unlikely that I will consider participating in future events organized by this company. I urge the organizers to re-evaluate their strategies and priorities to ensure that future exhibitions genuinely support the success of their exhibitors and provide a more equitable and professional experience for all.

The place is really big and of course it comes with pros and cons. While there is lot to explore, it is absolute pain to get to halls 9-10-11 on foot. Not something that can change but good to be aware of. It takes about 10-15 mins (depending on your pace) to go from the entrance of the overall area to the entrance of the building that has the halls 9-10-11. Other than that it is clean, has good set-up and people working there are helpful. Was there for FDI2025 as a participant and it was an enjoyable experience.

KüçükÇiftlik Park, located in the vibrant Şişli district of Istanbul, is a dynamic open-air venue that has been captivating visitors since its establishment in 2009. Spanning an impressive 9,000 square meters and accommodating up to 17,000 guests, this park is a hub for various events throughout the year.
The venue hosts festivals, concerts and open air exhibitions. I’ve been to Küçükçiftlik Park twice so far. My first visit was for the Istanbul Coffee Fest back in October 2022. The second visit was for the world famous DJ Black Coffee concert recently. The venue has one downside. It’s the car parking issue(not enough parking space for the huge crowds). My general view about both of the organizations are very positive. Easy access from the gates if you attend early. Easy payment methods via certain apps, no cash. Professional sound system, nice concert setting, and enough place to sit when you get tired. Diverse options for fast food, and alcohol. The showcase booths at the coffee fest were well laid out. Not very packed, enough spacing between the booths. The walk paths are wide enough, easy to stroll around. Enough toilets, and not so dirty. Housekeepers maintain the WCs well. Overall rating 4.3/5 for an Event Venue

Went for an Aurora concert. It's a pretty great place. Go early if you want to get a cushion to sit on. No drinks or snacks allowed inside. They're pretty mean about it.

I was there for the Dream Theater concert. The park is easily accessible, the experience was great, the sound was great, the lighting and the visuals on the screen was fantastic, the audience was great; I was stood next to the most welcoming Turkish people ever who helped me enjoy this experience way more than I expected.

I loved the Otyken/Ummet concert there!!! Everyone was having fun. I travel all together 17 hours by jets to see them and so worth it to me. This was the first time they performed together on stage. They give a wonderful and unique performance.

I’ve attended several concerts at KüçükÇiftlik Park, and I have to say it’s improved a lot compared to last year. The place has been renovated and feels much better organized now. It has a large capacity, which makes it great for big events. However, if you really want to enjoy the performance, I strongly recommend getting tickets for the front section. The experience is completely different when you’re closer to the stage.

we went megadeth concert. it was peak experience. place is extremely large, has lots of bars and food points, has its own app for purchases and tickets, getting in and out is easy

Terrible organization outside and long queues, but it gets better inside after you pass the main gate. Security checks and metal detectors exist. Around the stage and standing area, there are multiple drinking places but they are definitely too pricey.

Expensive drinks, and they force you to download and install an app to buy water and drinks. I hate that. Other than that, it was fine.

Nice event space. It's located inside mall (AVM). Mall parking lot can be used if you're coming here for an event which is ree up to 3 hrs. There are restaurants and bar options nearby. Prices at the cafe/bar before entering the event space are pretty high, the service is OK.
Aysegul E — Google review
It's a small concert hall with a good sound located in a huge mall. Organization of the concert (Oliver Tree) was very good, the prices for the beer and cocktails inside are affordable. Will definitely visit again. The only disadvantage was the huge delay (for more than two hours) of the concert, but usually this type of issues is not directly connected to the promoters team.

Why is the venue blocked by smoking zone? We need to walk pass the room filled with heavy smoke smell in order to get in. Very bad for health

I’ve been going there for social latin dance night organizations. The dancing floor is quite big so it is really comfortable with the space you have. The lights and sound system are great as well. Would definitely recommend attending in case you’re going to latin nights.

Cool place, lots of coctails:) there is also a theatre stage which is big and so modern. Das das is the place for stage arts and cool dinner.

This place is not about art but selling tickets. They carefully planned every inch of the building to maximize their revenue but forgot about the soul such a place should be built around. It's not only narrow spaces, cheap uncomfortable seats or one small door to handle several hundred 'customers' exit at once. It's the lack of aesthetics, charm and originality. Security guard was annoying. Overall this is such a disappointment that would only entertain the amateur.

The Cemal Reşit Rey Concert Hall is a renowned venue in Istanbul's Harbiye neighborhood, known for hosting classical music concerts. The hall's central location makes it easily accessible with nearby parking and public transport options. We had the pleasure to attend Lena’s concert at CRR. The venue was clean with comfortable seating. We enjoyed the concert 🎵. The whole atmosphere was amazing with cool lightning and effects. The price of the tickets was extremely affordable.

The Cemal Reşit Rey Concert Hall is a concert hall located in the Harbiye neighbourhood of Istanbul, Turkiye. It is one of the country's major concert halls, being the first one designed for classical music. Named after the Turkish composer Cemal Reşit Rey (1904–1985), the hall is owned by the Metropolitan Municipality of Istanbul and operated by its subsidiary, the Kültür company. The concert hall hosts concerts, ballet and dance performances every year between October and May. It is also home to CRR Istanbul Symphony Orchestra, Turkish Musical Ensemble, CRR Big Band Jazz and CRR Instrumental Soloists.

AC is a big problem if you are organizing big event. Place looks old, and doors to the theatre doesn’t close properly, so lots of distractions. If you accidentally miss the parking entrance you are stuck for good 30 min while trying to find your way out.

Lovely concert hall, a decent size stage with a variety of classical performances. A person who enjoys listening to classical music, should definitely give this concert hall a shot. Performers are from around the world and many different pieces are played. The tickets can be bought from an app called Biletix, the prices are reasonable and most importantly, the location is close to public transport, you will not find any problem finding your way 😉.

One of the best concert halls in Istanbul. Architectural wise it is an important symbol. Many world stars, especially jazz, world and classical had been on this stage. This hal is also close to underground (Osmanbey Stop/Pangalti exit), around 700m walk. Concert prices are generally reasonable because the hall is run by municipality. Enjoy 😊 🎶 Hey, do not forget to find the 🐈 cat 😊

Ataturk Cultural Center, a modern complex completed in 2021, is a versatile venue that houses an opera house, classical music hall, theater, cinema, and exhibition spaces. The main building pays tribute to the original 1946 modernist AKM with its sleek rectangular form and stunning glass curtain wall. Inside, the architecture surprises visitors with curved designs in the opera hall. Despite some mixed reviews on acoustics and performances, it remains an important and controversial landmark in Istanbul.
You can easily visit the “An Adventure from Painting to Ceramics” exhibition, which consists of engravings, drawings, posters, lithographs and photographs of Pablo Picasso, one of the greatest painters of the 20th century, all original and approved by their heirs. Tickets are 250₺, no queue over the weekend.

The Atatürk Cultural Center commonly called the AKM, is a concert hall, theatre and cultural centre running along the eastern side of Taksim Square in Beyoğlu, Istanbul. Originally opened in April 1969, it was closed for renovation works in 2008, but was ultimately demolished in 2018 and rebuilt in 2021 as a state-of-the-art cultural complex. In October 2021, it reopened to the public after a 13-year interval. The new AKM building was designed by Murat Tabanlıoğlu, the son of Hayati Tabanlıoğlu who had designed the original AKM building. Werner Sobek AG was responsible for the facade engineering, creating a transparent facade that opens the building to Taksim Square. It's a great place for anyone who wants to explore Turkish culture in a sophisticated and inspiring environment

Life Park is a versatile venue located on a pine-forested hillside, offering outdoor concerts and dining experiences on its wooden deck. The park has hosted various events, including the K-Pop Istanbul Festival featuring popular acts like DreamCatcher and Purple Kiss. While some visitors have expressed frustration with event management, others have praised the quality of food and beverages available at the venue.
A peaceful, high quality event venue surrounded by nature right near the city! Lifepark offers a truly unique experience with its serene forest atmosphere and well organized, high quality events. It’s far from the chaos of the city, yet still very accessible. Every event I’ve attended has been professionally managed, with great attention to security, cleanliness, and overall coordination. The staff is helpful, and everything runs smoothly from entry to parking to on site services. The Jazz in the Forest & Picnic Bazaar was a perfect example: a beautifully curated experience that felt both artistic and relaxing. It’s also family friendly, with a welcoming and safe environment for all ages. You feel immersed in nature without ever compromising comfort or safety. Truly a rare gem in Istanbul I hope to see more spaces like this!

This is the worst concert venue I have ever seen in the world! Everything is done so that concert-goers spend 2-3 hours in traffic jams! There is no organization of traffic police, cars are abandoned on the side of the road, buses cannot even move. The venue itself is in terrible condition, a very strange card system for buying drinks (in one place there is a kilometer-long queue to top up the card with a deposit, and then the same queue to get a drink). There are almost no rest areas or food areas. And the cherry on the cake is the toilets!!! How could they install so few modules for women? Turks, think about the service! The mood of the concert is terribly spoiled!

Was there for the Sevenfold Concert, the parking grounds needs a bit of work though, especially the motorcycle parking spot is just grass. I don't mind the grass but there were also these huge bushes too, so I feared tire puncture because of bush thorns

It's far away ~ but soundcheck's handled in between different stages thus there's concerts after concerts. However they did my boy Katatonia dirty by assigning them to the small stage where the sound was never enchanting.

We came here for a food festival with live music. The food choices were extremely limited and almost everything was fast food and fried. The only non-fried things I found were pizza and some Dolma which is just carbs. What a waste of time. They also, force all payment through their app which you have to download and put money on. Also, as a non-smoker I was excited when I heard “no cigarets allowed” at the entrance, only to find out they sold cigarets inside :) Thanks for nothing Life Park Food Festival organizers. You suck !
Mehrdad A — Google review
The workers are incredibly rude and loud. They asked 1000 tl for the parking and because we had the camping tickets for the festival we asked for an official document for them asking money. When we asked for the permits or some document about the prices they got even ruder. They started yelling and literally threatened us with more expensive prices. He said we can take 6000 if we wanted. They called their manager and their Manager's manager and no one listened to us, they all just yelled. We left because they don't have official documents, they just charge people as they please. If you were ever to go on a festival here. Please do not pay them. They're trying to make profit from the forest and people. They are incredibly rude and aggressive.
Betül K — Google review
Been here for Foodie Fest. A nightmare of a location, especially if you live on the Asian side of the city - they charge 300tl for parking. And you have to park it yourself in the middle of the forest, walk about 20mins between the festival entrance and the car. The road is dusty and your walk is basically through a dust fog - from and to the car - because all cars use the same road to enter and exit the area. Zeynep Bastik concert was scheduled to start at 20:00. But she came up on the stage at 22:00, and she openly apologized to everybody waiting that it wasn’t her fault that she turned up late but that of the organization’s (venue’s). 🥶 At the end of the event, which is late at night, bugs infest your car (because, as I said, it’s in the forest). I think there are shuttle buses, so perhaps that could be a better alternative instead of all that suffering. (Upon reading the comments, I can see that shuttle buses are not the best option either. So why in the world would you organize an event in the middle of a freakin forest?!) You need to download their app and put money in your account on the app in order to pay for things at the venue. It’s ridiculous. Every food is overpriced and half the size that you would find in any other location in the city. I don’t think I’d go back again. If you must still go, bring your own picnic chairs and tables or blankets in order to enjoy it. Or you’d have to sit on the ground.

I was there for “Dolu Kadehi Ters Tut” Concert. There is a food court next to Maximum Uniq which is good for early arrivals (We had dinner at Kayseri Mutfagi- Cıtır Mantı was good, Muhallebi not). I had afraid when I read parking lot experiences, even that I went with car and couldn’t have such a bad impression. Parking lot is 150.- TL and vale parking is 200.- TL which I preferred.
Gunes Y — Google review
I’m writing this review to give you the heads up before going to a concert there so you wouldn’t live a bad experience like I did. The concert I attended there was great in terms of entertainment and the show was great but the way that the place is organized is horrible! If you have a general standing ticket which I had, you will suffer standing for the whole period. Then, if you try going to buy a beverage, you will wait in another long line because the number of booths is very limited only one or two. Also the ground is not leveled so if you are tall, you can see the stage barely but if you are average height or short, you will have to watch the whole concert on the screen. While buying the tickets online, the website should have shown that this ticket will be standing or sitting, but it didn’t state any details and when I tried to call and inquire, I couldn’t reach anybody. I learned my lesson so be careful.
Karim S — Google review
Maximum unique the open air theater in Maslak is one of the worst places to attend a concert. People at the back (standing audience) should wait in a long line for a beverage (alcohol) because there is only 1 small booth. They haven’t installed speakers at the back thus you only hear what’s being played from one direction, poor sound quality. It seems like you are standing in a public park and listening to a concert conducted in the nearby concert hall, at least in the park you find trees. Unless you buy a ticket close to the stage, it doesn’t really worth it to pay a penny if you are going to stand at the back.

This is a cheap and fun way to travel between Asia and Europe in Istanbul. We rode the ferry twice in order to visit the Asian markets and sample foods and shop. It is timely and moves quickly and is fairly cheap (a few dollars).
