I had an amazing experience at this brunch spot in Bucharest! There's a hidden area in the back with extra seating, which adds a nice touch. The prices were very reasonable for the quality, and the service was quick and efficient. Everything ran smoothly, making it a truly enjoyable visit. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great brunch spot in the city!

We went here on a Monday around 13, the place was nearly full during this time. We got two iced lattes(18 lei per latte), egg-avocado (46 lei), Turkish eggs (46 lei). The wait was not long however the portion for egg avocado was a bit small. The food was delicious. The atmosphere of the place is really nice. The chairs on the side are very small, there is not enough place for someone to sit comfortably, especially if there is other people sitting on the next table. A great place to go, however if you have the option,sit at the middle table or at the outside part of the cafe.

Mixed Quality and quite overpriced We ordered two lattes, a brownie, a cake, and some pancakes. The brownie and cake were quite underwhelming in both flavor and texture, while the pancakes were really good. The overall vibe feels both Scandinavian and inspired by London cafés, but so are the (almost) London-level prices, which makes it feel overpriced for what you get. Overall, a stylish spot which still misses a few key touches to justify the cost.

Went here for brunch and even though the place was almost full, we still found a table without a reservation. The vibe is nice, the staff super friendly, and the lemonade is honestly the best I’ve ever had. Portions are big, prices are fair. I can’t wait to come back to try more dishes.

Conveniently located but poorly aided by the (poorly configured and mostly unavailable) free street parking, the place is great for a quick coffee or a meal. The food is good enough (though the use of some... cheap ingredients ruins some dishes - yeah, I'm looking at vegetable canned whip cream or sliced pre-baked bread... ); the service on the other hand is nice but the continuous need to bring all dishes on a small and insufficient table or to clear the table as soon as one leaves the fork on the plate is just right inappropriate. Overall, might be good for some, but the waiters intrusion is not suited for the place level.

We visited Frudisiac with high hopes, based both on its positive reviews and my partner’s previous good experience. Unfortunately, this visit turned out to be extremely disappointing. The food completely lacked personality—there was no real flavor, no depth, and nothing memorable about it. Visually, the dishes looked unappealing and uninspired, which only added to our disappointment. It felt like something put together without much care or creativity. For a place that positions itself as a go-to brunch spot, this was a letdown. It didn’t meet our expectations in taste, presentation, or overall experience. Sadly, we left feeling like we had wasted a meal.

Maybe it wasn't the right day, or maybe the timing was off... The place was packed with a very noisy group and the personnel did nothing to loosen the atmosphere; then the order was taken but served very late and incomplete. The food... below average both visually and taste wise. For the price, location and the fact that they require to pay and tip upfront, the experience was far than satisfactory. Will not be back around

The overall atmosphere is nice, relaxed design, some common areas to work. There were a lots of people working. The coffee was good. But at the same time no one cleaned our table after previous guests , which a minus, especially for tips they ask you automatically before even serving you. But the huge disappointment was a food. The portion was very little as for price paid . Like avocado tost is literally one bread slice with avocado muss on top of it. The other tost with cheese was very dry and not interesting to eat. I don't recommend this place, and wouldn't come back, especially with a coffee places choice around.

We went on a Saturday, there were tables available. We had a shakshuka and quesadilla. The shakshuka could have been a bit larger and more flavorful, the bread maybe more and flatbread. The quesadilla was tasty, did have a bit too many beans. As drinks, we had cappuccino and lemonade. The lemonade was good, the cappucinno not so strong. All in all, it is a good brunch place when in the area.

Very tasty food - loved the italian avocado toast, coffee was rich and delicious as always, the vibes were vibing. Very cozy aesthetic place. P. S. If you plan on working on your laptop for more than 2 hours, it would be nice if you ordered more than one coffee. ;)

with so many cafes in the area we were not sure which one to pick with just a day in bucharesti but we settled here based on the cool outdoors and indoor space. the coffee was delicious and we were able to sit outside and work from our laptops which was super nice! service was quick and warm!

Great Atmosphere, but a Bit Pricey. I recently visited the Van Gogh Cafe and was very impressed with the overall atmosphere. The place is decorated with beautiful reproductions of Van Gogh's paintings, creating a unique and artistic environment. It's a great spot to relax and enjoy the ambiance, especially if you're a fan of his work. The atmosphere is definitely the highlight. The soft lighting and the famous art pieces make for a very pleasant and aesthetic experience. It's a fantastic place to meet up with friends or to simply unwind with a good book. As for the food, the quality was good, but the prices were on the higher side. We ordered 1 set of french toast but the waiter brought 2 and we didn't have the heart to return it. While I enjoyed what I ordered, I felt that the cost was a bit expensive for what was offered. The selection was decent, and the flavors were solid, but it's not the place to go if you're looking for a budget-friendly meal. Overall, I would recommend the Van Gogh Cafe for its excellent atmosphere and quality food. Just be prepared to pay a little extra for the unique experience.

From the moment I stepped inside Grand Café Van Gogh, I was enchanted. The café’s décor is nothing short of art — every corner tells a story, with Van Gogh-inspired paintings, vibrant blue and yellow accents, and fresh flowers gracing each table. The atmosphere feels warm, bright, and beautifully curated. I ordered the omelette and the pancakes. The omelette was perfectly cooked — fluffy, flavorful, and satisfying. The pancakes, however, were the highlight: topped with fresh strawberries and a cloud of whipped cream, they were simply amazing. The sweetness was balanced, and the strawberries tasted fresh and juicy. As for the service — the staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. They treated every guest with care, and their warm smiles added to the overall experience. Whether you’re a traveler or local, I would absolutely recommend stopping by Grand Café Van Gogh if you’re in Romania (especially Bucharest). I know I’ll return myself.

As good as the photos online show. Each room filled with Van Gogh pictures you can view as you eat delicious food. We tried both the French Toast and the pancakes and both delicious. We arrived at 12 on a Friday and had no wait to get a seat inside. (In November). Friendly staff and fast service. Once you've eaten free to have a wander and see the other rooms. Definitely a nice place with a good vibe and something different.

We heard about this place and decided to go. We just had hot chocolate - which was the best hot chocolate I've had in years! We also had a starter called sweet corn nuggets. It was very good. My husband had a traditional Romanian dessert called Coliva. We liked everything we ordered. The atmosphere is nice with plenty of Van Gough's artwork to admire as you sit there. Great vibe.

Centrally located, easy to find. The stuff is kind, but as expected, the tips are included in your final bill, so I will expect nothing less. We got only drinks, they were good and the coffee was tasty. There is no water served with your coffee (not even a small glass) as in Italy or other places in the world. This place is pricey, but given the fact that you are in the center and is heavily touristic, is normal. The atmosphere is nice. Pay attention to the additional rooms and don’t jump in the first one.

I loved the concept of this café since I'm a Van Gogh admirer. The staff was very attentive, they showed me all rooms so I could decide where I wanted to sit. I didn't have to wait that much for my order and it was delicious! This place is definitely worth a visit!

Nice and quiet coffee bar, with an elegant modern architecture. I had a cappuccino, very good but it could have been a little larger. It's not easy to have a table on the terrace, as the place is quite popular at all hours.

Excellent service, coffee flavour and attention to detail in preparing the coffees. Tried both their cortardo and drip. They had several coffees ready for espresso, house drip, and a selection of more premium high cupping score offerings for v60.

Came here for breakfast, not a great choice has they don’t have much to eat just some deserts. But the staff was so amazing recommending me other places where I could have a more fulfilling breakfast that I decided to stay, and had a nice blueberry bread with a cappuccino. The cappuccino was a bit small, they probably have sizes, but I didn’t realized when I ordered nor was asked, but I saw others with bigger drinks. The cappuccino was good and yet different I think was due to the choice of coffee I made. In general good experience, service is awesome

Great place to have high quality coffee in Bucharest! Many local coffee shops use their beans for their drinks. The staff is helpful and amicable. The location is a short 5 minutes stroll from the Old Town so it is a great place to score a good coffee to start your day or as a mid-day perk me up.

We had an amazing family dinner at Fior di Latte last night, with great food, service and ambience. The quality of the food was very good and the portion sizes were just right. Everyone was very happy with their meal and dessert of choice and we felt very well looked after.

Fantastic experience. Food second to none . So much attention to detail from the beautiful glasses and china to the music. Is the second time I lunched here when visiting from UK , I am sure will visit again . The lime and thyme ice cream… heaven .

If you want to go to a beautiful place, with a lovely atmosphere this is the place! I love how unlike London sometimes they don't rush you, or give you a limit on time. You are free to sit for hours like we did! The food was amazing it's a shame we just missed out on brunch, but I will not complain as lunch was just wow. Our server was so lovely, friendly, accommodating and just knew how to give us a great experience! Highly highly recommend. It is pricey but its a fancy place so you expect it and you get your moneys worth for sure! I love mussels it came in a white wine sauce, and the wine they paired it with was just scrumptious. They gave us normal bread and garlic bread to soak up the juices we couldn't stop eating it and this was just the starters! They gave us a complementary truffle mouse and that was also divine! And our main lunches I have never tasted anything like it. We were excited for dessert but was too full! The drinks you also must try! I had a spicy margarita and it was spicy but the best tasting drink I had in years! You must go!!!

This isn’t the fanciest restaurant in Bucharest, and it’s actually quite small, despite its top-notch location. But for some reason, it holds a special place in my heart. The food has always been fabulous, and I appreciate that even after a long break, the dishes remained just as good. Unfortunately, over the past year, many restaurants have seen a drop in quality, portion sizes, and service due to rising taxes and inflation - but this place has managed to stay consistent.

The location is easy to find, I love that they have a parking lot because in that area is very hard to find a space, the service is extremely fast and pleasent, I ordered food and desserts for takeaway and I waited about 10 minutes to be ready.I really enjoyed the PB wrap, it was delicious, everything was delicious, except the turmeric and beans sandwich, wich was not bad, but it tasted a little weird, my guess it was from the pickled beet, i'm not 100% sure.But i ate it amyway :)) Overall it's a bit pricey, but if you want healthy you pay, anywhere in this world.I will definetely buy again from them. P.S. The cakes are frozen, but it's normal, that's how they are kept fresh, so if you want some you have to buy it ahead.

It's an average place. They speak very little English, and the staff made very little effort to communicate, instead she kept repeating same sentences in Romanian, which I don't understand. I got a cheese pastry. It was very oily. Everything here is really just average. Not bad, but certainly not good.

Delicious cakes, especially the coffee cake. The employee who gave us service was one of the nicest women we met in Romania, the place was designed for takeout orders and we didn't know that and despite that she gave us service with a smile

Again, Me and my family checked in advenced and saw we can come and sit in the restaurant. We came specially from the other side of town with a taxi, and when we got in they told us today it is only for delivery beacuse they have a big delivery to make.. Very annoying.

More of a cafeteria, than a bistro. Probably great for grabbing an office lunch, but I wouldn't recommended it as a hang out place. Large portions, but the food is hit or miss. The salads were ok, but the other two dishes were too salty. There's a strong smell of food/cooking that will get into your clothes.

I had an excellent meal tonight in this establishment, it is the best dinner meal I have had during my stay in Bucharest and there have been many contenders. Everything about the meal was wonderful the taste of the food the quality I had some cake and coffee to finish off the meal. The cost was very reasonable, the waiting staff were really nice, this was honestly a great experience.

Visited on a Saturday morning. It wasn't busy. From the beginning, the waitress who seated me was rude & standoffish. The Waiter who ended up serving me was a bit sour at first, but gradually warmed up & was polite & attentive. It appears they were short staffed that day. It started to get packed right before noon due to the lunch traffic. Had their Eggs Benedict & Cappuchino. Food was decent, although not outstanding. It took awhile to get the bill.

It was okay but I expected a bit more from the chocolate and sour cherry for the price of 26 lei. The flavours could have been a little bit more prominent. The place is small and it doesn’t have much sitting area. The staff was nice and welcoming.

Very impressive! This place offers the best eclairs I’ve ever tried. There is much diversity in flavor and the cashier was full of recommendations. He was also able to explain thoroughly the contents and taste of each one, so that I wa impressed by. The place itself is very small, more like an eclair stand. I tried the Salted Caramel one and The Pistachio and the cream was rich,fluffy and full of flavor - a real luxury to the palate. Even if a few hours had passed, the eclair mixture was still soft, but tasty. Usually the eclair batter soaks in the cream making it wooshy and just wet instead of tasteful, but that was not the case! The only thing I might have a say against are the prices. Even though they are incredibly delicious, 24 lei for a single eclair(without exception) is just way too much. Other than that, you definitely have to try them out( there’s many French Revolution shops all around town ) if you’re every in Bucharest

The best eclairs ever. Pistachio by far is the best, Vanilla is also amazing. Anything I tasted was extremely good, balanced taste and full of cream. Good size and very high quality and taste for the money. One éclair is around 18 lei.

I stayed at Radisson Blu Hotel Bucharest while attending AI Expo Europe (2–3 November 2025). The experience was excellent — modern rooms, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding, with a great variety and fresh options. Perfect central location, walking distance to many attractions and restaurants. Highly recommend for both business and leisure stays!

I was welcomed very warmly and professionally by Teodora. Everything was explained to me proactively, so I had no questions left. I had a stay of two weeks. The hotel is very well located and offers a lot. What I liked the most was the well-equipped gym. The lobby was very spacious and the food was excellent. The rooms were clean. I would be happy to come back.

The hotel's exterior is okay, but the friendliness of the staff could be improved. The room (executive) is quite modest and the bathroom has a really strong smell of sewage. The sounds from the corridor and other rooms can be heard in the room. The soundproofing is poor. The breakfast was good and varied. In summary, this hotel does not offer five-star service and experience.

​This is a beautiful hotel situated in an excellent, central location, surrounded by many shops and city attractions. The hospitality was a true high point of my stay; I found the staff to be exceptionally helpful and accommodating. My room on the 8th floor was also lovely. ​However, I encountered a policy that I found both unusual and disappointing. We placed a room service order totaling nearly 700 RON and were surprised to see an additional 40 RON "delivery service" fee on the bill. ​In my opinion, charging such a significant fee for food that is prepared within the hotel and delivered a few floors via an elevator seems unreasonable, especially on an already substantial order. This policy means that ordering a single 45 RON bottle of water would also incur the 40 RON delivery charge, which feels excessive. This is something I have not commonly encountered in other hotels of this quality, and it unfortunately detracted from the experience. ​One final note for future guests: parking at the hotel appears to be limited, so be prepared that you may not find a space immediately upon arrival. ​Overall, while the hotel itself is beautiful and the staff provides excellent service, I would urge management to reconsider the room service fee structure.

Despite of its size (huge) and slightly outdated decore I like this hotel. The location is great, rooms are clean and well equipped (only minus for old hair dryer). Gym and swimming pool are a definite advantage. I do recommend for a short and longer stay.

This is a pretentious hotel ("cu multe fițe") and very suited for new money folks. Prices are high accordingly and the atmosphere is a very effective yet a bit distant Jewish style serving - the take care of everything for you and solve all, but don't expect too homey or warm style.. there is Athene Palace for that. In it's category though - Radisson Blu is 5 stars (applies also to the Bucharest one and former Radisson Ukraina in Moscow). Stayed with them a couple of times. Also they house nearby the best Casino in Bucharest, offering live player versus player Texas Hold em Poker - the Platinum Casino.

Rio Juice is always a good choice if you are looking for something healthy and refreshing. 10/10, I love coming here every time.

Really wanted to try Acai Bowl for the first time in my life and it really was tasty! I’m not an expert, but I enjoy exotic and healthy dishes, and the one in the pictures (cannot remember the name, but it’s like the second one from the menu) really tastes amazing! If you want to try something different, a smoothie that you can eat just like cereal, definitely go get some! Also, the place is small and cozy, a bit hot in there, but you can stay outside on some few benches :)

One of the best acai bowls I’ve ever had. The blue spirulina bowl is very creamy and flavorful as well. The smoothies are great and they have a lot of choices to choose from. The prices are small for the quality they offer, we really recommend this place :)

We really liked brunch here! We ordered poached eggs with avocado toast and poached eggs with smoked turkey. The salad was tasty and well washed! Nice dressing on top! Cold brew coffee was also nice, with the addition of honey since their variety is too bitter. The double espresso was deeeeefinitely strong. Overall a nice place for breakfast! Healthy and tasty!

It's a very small place, therefore it will seem crowded. The service was nice, although we waited a bit for our order. I've noticed other people waited longer and they arrived prior to us, but it could be something that happened only on that day, who knows. The French toast I ordered was one of the best I've ever had, so it was totally worth a visit.

I had no issues with seating at around 10.30am on a Monday - there were a couple of them free. Coffee was great and so was the avocado toast, which I got with some extra salmon. Prices were reasonable given the freshness and quality of food, and service was friendly! Short walk to Cișmigiu Gardens which is worth a visit too :)

Lovely café in Bucharest. Owned by the same group as café Origo nearby, which is a must for coffee lovers. Produce is fresh and delicious, at a reasonable price. Would recommend for brunch.

Really lovely spot with great coffee and even better service. The staff were so friendly, helpful, and polite, always smiling, which made the place feel really welcoming. The coffee was delicious, and it’s a nice spot to work from your laptop. It can get a bit busy since it’s not very big, but the atmosphere is cozy and relaxed. I even found a socket for my laptop, which was a big plus. I also tried the banana bread, and it was super tasty. Overall, a great experience and definitely recommend it.

Meron treated me amazingly. I went there in my two week trip every day. while I noticed that a few team members were working a lot, They still tried their best to stay friendly. The spot itself is amazing. You can either sit outside enjoying the sun or sit inside at cozy tables and take out your laptop for some work food wise. I can recommend especially the Apple walnut bread which sweetened my morning daily. the coffee is very tasty too - basically all food I tried is very good. Maybe the banana bread is only solid, but the rest was very good.

Good food, weird service. Do not cater to dietary needs. Rude approach to foreign customers. If you are allergic to something it can’t be removed from the dish but suggested to order something else. Good coffee. But gets crowded easily. Advice: please use shades on window for sunny season. And learn to cater to dietary needs if you serve food.

The best brunch in Bucharest! I had a brunch here on a Monday morning with 2 of my friends. We ordered scrambled eggs 2x and an avo posh. I had my scrambled eggs without avocado, but there was still plenty to eat and the food tasted so good and delicious. It was clear, that the food was prepared with care and no rush. Compared to other coffee shops, I had my trips best matcha here as well! Only note is, that the space inside is quite limited, but there is more seats on the terrace. We got our food well in time, the service was friendly and the place had a cozy feeling. If you are looking for a delicious brunch, you can skip Cookie Beacon and Mayfair 38 and go here instead! If I ever visit Bucharest again, this will be my first spot to revisit!

Definitely recommend! Breakfast all day, and everything tasted as it looked - amazing. Pancakes - totally the best pick possible if you are looking for a sweet breakfast. Kind of expensive, but I’d say worth it’s price.

Loved this place - great coffee and I tried the polenta because it's a Romanian national dish - they do their breakfast/lunch menus all day so you can order whatever you feel like. Food and coffee both came out quickly. There's a small indoor seating area and another outdoor area. It's a shame I had a train to catch or I would have tried some of their delicious looking cakes too!

Rooms - bedroom, recently refurbished, well maintained and very nice (and clean!). Bathroom - feels dated and not refurbished for a long time. Customer service - very U.S. customers oriented with typical for US overcare approach. For Europeans this may feel wired, but I guess is focusing on main customers. Interesting twist are luxury brands butiques located in the lobby :) Expensive place to stay, but with nice rooms and good customer service. Cannot rank food options - as I have eaten outside. Benefit - when customer service has been asked for dining place recommendation, they of course started with hotel options, but when understood that I am looking for some local options - made good recommendations instead of forcing hotel options again :) Kudos for that.

A pleasant experience at the Champions restaurant, we had dinner, very good service and delicious food, very good that platter for 2 people with ribs, burger and wings. Top atmosphere, being a sports bar I felt like in the movies! Instead, when leaving the hotel in the evening, a different atmosphere, like Gara de Nord, 2,3 taxis without a box (Titan taxi and Speed ​​taxi), which call you "boss" and the price starts from a minimum of 50 lei, they are followed by a black Audi with red numbers and 2 cream Mercedes that invite you to a walk around the city to the massage clubs! I felt harassed !!! . I think the management should take action in this regard considering that it is still JW MARRIOTT and not the Orhideea hotel! I will return in the future for the restaurants and I am curious if anything will change!

If you’re looking for a modern and high end hotel with all the luxurious features you’d need then certainly consider here. From checking in, and right through the stay, all the staff were friendly and professional, willing to help with anything. The location is good, being an easy walk to the Old Town and handy for transport options. Our twin room on the fourth floor was very spacious, complete with sofa and loads of storage. The views over the junction and Parliament building were good but fortunately there was no noise from outside overnight. All the amenities you’d want were present, from robes and slippers to bathroom utensils. A good coffee machine and well stocked mini bar was present and everywhere was spotlessly clean. The bar in the lobby area is a relaxing space late in the evening, with live piano music. The staff are again professional and there’s a wide range of drinks at reasonable prices given the prime location. I’d certainly stay here again and would recommend.

The hotel room and bed were very comfortable, with good sound insulation in the room. The restaurants were relatively good. It is an excellent location next to the parliament, with plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The team and staff set it apart and make this place 5-star. I had some trouble with heating and electrical cabling in my room, and it was attended to quickly. Yasmine at the front desk was always very kind; as were every team member I encountered.

Disappointing experience at JW Marriott - Vienna Lounge, ground floor. This is supposed to be a 5-star hotel, but the service was closer to a roadside Ferentari bar. [21 Oct, 10:25 PM] The barman refused to prepare a simple orange juice, claiming it was "too late" despite having the ingredients available - fresh fruits were clearly visible. It felt more like laziness than a real limitation. I asked for a non-alcoholic green apple cocktail instead. What I received was a glass of bottled juice with ice - no effort, no flavor, no presentation; nothing resembling a proper cocktail. From the start, his attitude was arrogant and dismissive. This wasn't the first time I've noticed the same behavior from him, which suggests a recurring problem rather than a bad moment. Someone with that mindset shouldn't be representing a 5-star hotel brand like Marriott. This level of service is far below what one would expect. The setting is premium, but the service is anything but. Management should seriously review how staff represent the Marriott brand.

Had visited the hotel for the breakfast. The choice was simply amazing - sweet, salty, sour or any flavour you would look for. They even have a Romanian corner with traditional and local snacks/food. Our waitress Marius was very polite and kind. Thanks to his service we felt very welcome. Ana from the meeting desk in the breakfast was also very professional and friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast very much and would recommend to anyone!

This is my third time staying at this hotel, and I love it more each time. The location is perfect. right at the entrance to the Old Town, so everything is within walking distance. From the moment you arrive, you feel welcome. There’s even a small treat and a welcome drink waiting for you at check-in it’s such a lovely touch. The staff are always kind and helpful, and the rooms are beautiful, each one with its own unique style. I especially enjoy the in-room coffee machine and the complimentary bottled water. Breakfast is fresh, delicious, and has plenty of variety,omelets, vegetables, pastries, cheeses, fruits, everything you could want. One of the things I love most is the cozy self-service kiosk in the lobby. It offers drinks, snacks, milk, small gifts, and even a microwave for heating food. Super convenient and thoughtful. My Last Stay at This Hotel! I have stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Bucharest many times in the past and had generally good experiences — but unfortunately, this will be my last stay. During my most recent visit, the entrance of the hotel was completely flooded, forcing guests to walk through deep water just to get inside. As a result, my shoes and clothes were soaked. When I mentioned this to the reception staff, they simply blamed the mayor for the flooding and offered no help, no solution, and no empathy. To make matters worse, the restaurant was closed for a private event, room service was unavailable due to the event in the restaurant and no alternative dining options were provided for guests. I was effectively left trapped in the hotel, hungry and wet, with no assistance from staff. What shocked me most was the complete lack of responsibility or care from management. No compensation, no goodwill gesture, not even basic concern for guests’ comfort. The attitude I encountered was inhumane and unacceptable, especially from a Hilton-branded hotel. All of this happened even though I am a Hilton Honors Diamond member, which makes the indifference even more disappointing. I have always valued Hilton’s service and loyalty recognition, but this experience shows that those values are not upheld at this property. This experience has completely changed my view of this hotel. I never imagined I would describe a Hilton stay as a survival challenge, but that is how it felt. Sadly, this will be my last stay at this hotel.

Had a great stay at Mercure Bucharest City Centre! The room was big and very clean, and the location is perfect for exploring the city. Breakfast was really good. We really loved staying here. Very comfortable beds. Local to wonderful restaurants but the in house restaurant was wonderful so we opted to eat here twice. Lovely breakfast and outstanding staff. If we come back we would definitely opt to stay here again.

We come back here at least twice a year. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Bucharest. We're always welcomed with care and attention to every detail. The rooms are nice, comfy and clean. The location is amazing, very clean, and great staff members. We had the Baptism of our daughter in their restaurant and everything from the food, room, and staff was exceptional. We worked with Roxana from Sales who was very helpful and helped us with everything — she is very responsive and on point to any request. We would also like to say thank you to Cristian who was responsible for the F&B during the event and to the Chef who prepared delicious food. We stayed in Room 620 ( Privilege Room ), and this room is superb, big with a huge terrace and a great view. The reception staff was also amazing and also the entire team from breakfast and lunch who helped with any food request for our daughter. We truly recommend this location for any special event and vacation, as for sure we will return even for a “staycation “.

Rooms are okay but could be better.. I didn't find the showers particularly clean. The front desk man was rather grumpy, only the lady at my checkout was helpful and friendly. The location is nice, but the outside seating area always seems a bit grubby and the breakfast doesn't exactly give many options, so don't expect salmon here :)

Great bakery and café! The food was delicious, and the staff was warm and welcoming. We had a great time and enjoyed our brunch. The cappuccino was delicious, but the food could've used just a touch more salt, everything else made for a cozy and pleasant morning.

The rating is just for the croissants. A very disappointing experience. As shown in the pictures, the pistachio cream was very little compared to other photos. The one with raspberry was very sweet with somewhat more cream than the pistachio one. We paid 43 lei for 2 average croissants.

It was my first time there!! Firstly, the waiter mixed up with our coffees order at first, secondly, i got the chicken masala and after that they followed with the rice later.. that was okay until i taste it and it was dry/crunchy as if either it was overcooked or heated with a microwave. At the end after paying in cash the waiter never brought me back the rest which were 26lei “usually i dont ask for the rest if it was less than 20lei“ but after the overall experience i thought to mention that as well.

The Intercontinental Athenee Palace hotel is a crown jewel in the Capital of Romania. All amenities are of top quality in material, design, attention to details and hospitality. The rooms are spotless, with AC that is soundless. The beds are comfortable even for stiff backs. And there are soft and firm pillows. The lighting is smart, plentiful and easy to control. There are focused reading lights on each side of the bed for late night readers. The bathroom has a speaker that brings the TV sound in there. The hallways have excellent soundproofing and the elevators are modern and fast. We selected the option with breakfast included. From the hostess’s greeting to the large variety of options we were awed. There is a hot bar and an omelette station. There is a cold cuts bar that includes a variety of fish, Romanian Zacusca, fruit and veggies. There is a bread and pasties station with so many options that one can get quite happy. And to top it off there is a small gluten free and one vegan station. This station has a green apple and cucumber water which is like a smoothie. The staff is also of the highest quality and impeccable manners.The hotel also has a bar that can satisfy the most sophisticated patrons. At least in my opinion. Separately there is a Cafe with outdoor and indoor seating where I found gourmet cookies and cakes (individual size). Our stay was enjoyable, comfortable and posh. We applaud the wonderful job the owners of this hotel are doing!

It was the first time I stayed here after they renovated. It's a very nice hotel, clean and luxurious with a great location. Also, the breakfast was very delicious with a lot of options.

Great atmosphere, coffee quality is really good. It was prepared carefully and tasted really nice. However, I was disappointed by this "pain au chocolat" quality. It was very dry and it looked lik it was kept more than 2 days. I don't expect it to be freshly baked, but at least the saleswoman should have warned me that it was not from today, or it should have been removed from the small display case.

Below average establishment and higher than average prices. If you're into things like good food and good coffee, this ain't the place for you. Bunch of new age hipsters doing new age hipster stuff - taking very long for a cappucino as they're busy talking to other hipsters, very busy screwing up orders (witnessed them screw up - twice - the same sandwich 'till the guy got up and left). Advertised as a pet friendly eatablishment, but only if the owners / staff aren't scared of your dog. One to avoid.

I enjoyed a very good turmeric latte on the go, served by a very friendly barista. Great place to get a quick energy boost while on the way to the park. I would definitely return for more.

A little lovely corner with delicious chocolate frappé. I always feel pampered when I come here, and getting nice service, tasty bites, and delightful coffee. To me, this is one of the go-to places whenever I want to have a quiet moment, just enjoying a coffee. The early mornings are the best when everything is quiet, the coffee is hot, and the sun is rising. It gives a bougie vibe right in the centre of the capital.

Our cuban bagel has some strange blue thing on the lettuce. Not very expensive, though.

Reason for this rating is the songs played on their TV from 90's and early 2000 like Bryan Adams, Britney..felt great.

The bread is good, but the service leaves much to be desired, the employee doesn’t speak a word of English and there was a discrepancy between the prices at the shelf and my bill for which I got no explanation. Given you’re in a central touristy area it would be wise to hire someone who can speak English.

They have really good bread, but what I can really recommend are the croissants. They are the closest croissants to the French ones that I have tried.in Bucharest. Layered and buttery just as they are intended. The quiches are above most of the quiches in Bucharest, a bit small for my appetites. But I do love quiches.

Really good bakery with much more reasonable prices than Pain Plaisir. I would love to see more gluten-free options, as the current one still uses sourdough made with wheat flour. That said, the quality is excellent and definitely worth recommending. They also have a shop in Amzei, but it hasn’t shown up on Google for months.

So far my favourite place to buy bread, have been buying there since autumn last year and never been disappointed. Sweets, quiches, and croissants are delicious too.

Our experience at Strabun was great, the food was delicious with generous portions and cool atmosphere. We had both meat and the vegan cauliflower dish and everyone was impressed with their choice. The service was fast and when there was a mixup with our orders (two orders came with the wrong toppings), the staff was quick to fix it and the extra toppings were left to share free of charge. Strongly recommend if you want to taste a smart and modern interpretation of Romanian cuisine. The coliva dessert with ice-cream was stunning and surprising.

We got the pork and the beef, and both were just amazing. The meats were tender, and full of flavor. Both mash potatoes melted in our months. The contrast with the cold beets was refreshing for the mouth. Definitely a place to stop by. My only suggestion is that the restaurant would feel more cozy if the lights were dimmer.

I chose to go to this restaurant because the photos in the review were beautiful. I can say, those photos were very accurate. I had a duck with beet risotto, side salad, and traditional dessert (I already forgot the name sorry!) Food here is beautiful to look at and amazing to taste. For me, the beet risotto was new and delicious. Potion size is generous. I couldn't finish everything so they packed it for me. The server, Daniel was friendly and professional. I strongly recommend everyone to try all the food they have. I'm planning to come back here to try another dish.

I rarely give 5 stars across everything such as food, service and atmosphere but this restaurant has it all. Reinterpretation of romanian food but with style and a very great taste. I returned during the same week to taste something different and I was impressed both times. The service is impeccable and the food is amazing. My husband and I had a delightful meal at Corso. The food was excellent - I have never eaten pork as tasty and 'melt-in-the-mouth' as the roasted pork. My husband had the sea bass and said it was the best he had ever eaten. Even the bread was sublime! It was fairly early in the evening, so the atmosphere would probably have benefitted from a few more diners, but we certainly had great friendly service and attention.

I took my little sister here during her weekend in Bucharest and it was one of her favourite activities that we did during the weekend. She loved that she could get pink milk and taste cereals she’d never even seen before. The ladies working there were also really nice to everyone who came in, even though the place was packed, as it always is during the weekend.

The place itself is very cute and cozy however the staff is dreadful. I went here with my boyfriend for a nice date and the lady didn’t explain the process at all ! We were extremely confused ! She was rolling her eyes the whole time not even trying to hide it and did not cooperate at all. When we finally got our cereal she snatched the money from our hands which was awfully unprofessional. Also, after serving us, she started smoking very near to us, which very bothersome since we aren’t smokers. When we were done we were unsure if we should bring the tray inside so we picked it up, and when we asked her where we should put it she looked at us and didn’t even reply. This place has so much potential but the staff completely ruins it. Don’t think I’ll come back.

Went for a coffee and muffin yesterday the staff are really welcoming and nice, coffee tasted great and so did the muffin. I like a welcoming atmosphere makes you feel they want you in the cafe. Importantly the price was very reasonable and definitely worth a visit.

Very helpful staff, and they make a great coffee. I love it when people are passionate about what they're doing. The guys were really friendly, the music was nice. It's a little bit different from the 5 togo coffe shops I am used to. This one is a little bit bigger, even though it can get crowded sometimes as many people come here. You can even have a seat and enjoy your coffee or snack there if you don't want your coffee to go. It's definietly the best place to grab a coffee if you're nearby.

The best things about this place are the location and the coffee. Everything else I found to be very disappointing. The food wasn’t even decent but very overpriced for what they offer. The poached eggs weren’t done properly and were loaded in way too much hollandaise sauce (I say hollandaise but it tasted like mayonnaise) The carbonara was impossibly salty and the portion minuscule. But by far the worst thing was the service. The lady serving us wasn’t at all amiable or polite, she was rushing us to order and the overall interaction with her was lacking professionalism. Other than getting a coffee at the tables outside, I don’t recommend this place for anything else.
