I had an amazing experience at this brunch spot in Bucharest! There's a hidden area in the back with extra seating, which adds a nice touch. The prices were very reasonable for the quality, and the service was quick and efficient. Everything ran smoothly, making it a truly enjoyable visit. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great brunch spot in the city!

We went here on a Monday around 13, the place was nearly full during this time. We got two iced lattes(18 lei per latte), egg-avocado (46 lei), Turkish eggs (46 lei). The wait was not long however the portion for egg avocado was a bit small. The food was delicious. The atmosphere of the place is really nice. The chairs on the side are very small, there is not enough place for someone to sit comfortably, especially if there is other people sitting on the next table. A great place to go, however if you have the option,sit at the middle table or at the outside part of the cafe.

Mixed Quality and quite overpriced We ordered two lattes, a brownie, a cake, and some pancakes. The brownie and cake were quite underwhelming in both flavor and texture, while the pancakes were really good. The overall vibe feels both Scandinavian and inspired by London cafés, but so are the (almost) London-level prices, which makes it feel overpriced for what you get. Overall, a stylish spot which still misses a few key touches to justify the cost.

Went here for brunch and even though the place was almost full, we still found a table without a reservation. The vibe is nice, the staff super friendly, and the lemonade is honestly the best I’ve ever had. Portions are big, prices are fair. I can’t wait to come back to try more dishes.

Conveniently located but poorly aided by the (poorly configured and mostly unavailable) free street parking, the place is great for a quick coffee or a meal. The food is good enough (though the use of some... cheap ingredients ruins some dishes - yeah, I'm looking at vegetable canned whip cream or sliced pre-baked bread... ); the service on the other hand is nice but the continuous need to bring all dishes on a small and insufficient table or to clear the table as soon as one leaves the fork on the plate is just right inappropriate. Overall, might be good for some, but the waiters intrusion is not suited for the place level.

We visited Frudisiac with high hopes, based both on its positive reviews and my partner’s previous good experience. Unfortunately, this visit turned out to be extremely disappointing. The food completely lacked personality—there was no real flavor, no depth, and nothing memorable about it. Visually, the dishes looked unappealing and uninspired, which only added to our disappointment. It felt like something put together without much care or creativity. For a place that positions itself as a go-to brunch spot, this was a letdown. It didn’t meet our expectations in taste, presentation, or overall experience. Sadly, we left feeling like we had wasted a meal.

Honestly, I expected much more from NOR. We went as a family of 6, including my elderly parents, and right from the start it was frustrating — security blocked us from entering the building for over 10 minutes until his colleague came back, leaving us waiting outside. The view is beautiful and the staff inside were friendly, but the food, while good, wasn’t anything special. I’ve had much better meals in other restaurants for much lower prices. On top of that, the music inside was unnecessarily loud, making it hard to have a relaxed conversation. We spent around 1600 RON for the 6 of us, and for that price I expected far better flavors, service, and atmosphere. If you want the view, maybe try it once — but as a restaurant, I can’t give it more than 3★.

This place is a bit of a mixed bag, but ultimately worth a visit for the food alone. The ambiance is truly lovely—perfect for a special occasion. However, the service fell short of what you'd expect from a restaurant of this caliber. Our server was a bit inattentive, and we had to wait longer than we should have to get our drinks and for our plates to be cleared. If you're willing to overlook some minor service hiccups for a truly exceptional meal in a beautiful setting, then this is the place for you.

The place is great, the view is really nice. The food was good but I wasn’t impressed by it. I think it’s a little overpriced, I recommend to go just to have your own opinion about it, because it’s cute and you can have a nice time there, but it’s not really breathtaking.

Nice place, worth coming for the view and the food, I had better expectation. Atmosphere and staff could do better. Theres no wine menu in english so we ended up ordering beer and the waiter didnt bother to recommend us wine.

Visited Nor Sky and had a fantastic experience! The coffee was excellent, and the Cloud cake was not only delicious but also presented in a very interesting way. Everything was perfect, and a special shoutout to Stefan S, the waiter, whose kind and friendly service made enjoying coffee with the view even more relaxing. Highly recommended!

Our final meal in Bucharest. Unmatched!!! A group of 10 friends were accommodated without flaw, the servers were extremely attentive and accommodating, the food (see photos) were amazing and perfectly cooked, fed us very well, so fast and unusual dishes I hadn’t seen before, for example the Octopus Carpaccio. This place is the perfect date spot, or for celebrations. The views are incredible and definitely worth the trip up for a drink or two 😉. Thank you Nor for an unforgettable time, I highly recommend. We had an amazing family dinner at Fior di Latte last night, with great food, service and ambience. The quality of the food was very good and the portion sizes were just right. Everyone was very happy with their meal and dessert of choice and we felt very well looked after.

Fantastic experience. Food second to none . So much attention to detail from the beautiful glasses and china to the music. Is the second time I lunched here when visiting from UK , I am sure will visit again . The lime and thyme ice cream… heaven .

If you want to go to a beautiful place, with a lovely atmosphere this is the place! I love how unlike London sometimes they don't rush you, or give you a limit on time. You are free to sit for hours like we did! The food was amazing it's a shame we just missed out on brunch, but I will not complain as lunch was just wow. Our server was so lovely, friendly, accommodating and just knew how to give us a great experience! Highly highly recommend. It is pricey but its a fancy place so you expect it and you get your moneys worth for sure! I love mussels it came in a white wine sauce, and the wine they paired it with was just scrumptious. They gave us normal bread and garlic bread to soak up the juices we couldn't stop eating it and this was just the starters! They gave us a complementary truffle mouse and that was also divine! And our main lunches I have never tasted anything like it. We were excited for dessert but was too full! The drinks you also must try! I had a spicy margarita and it was spicy but the best tasting drink I had in years! You must go!!!

This isn’t the fanciest restaurant in Bucharest, and it’s actually quite small, despite its top-notch location. But for some reason, it holds a special place in my heart. The food has always been fabulous, and I appreciate that even after a long break, the dishes remained just as good. Unfortunately, over the past year, many restaurants have seen a drop in quality, portion sizes, and service due to rising taxes and inflation - but this place has managed to stay consistent.

The service is so and so. The waiter didn’t seem too interested to ask if we would like another drink, after we finished our tea. We have been waving him over to ask him to bring another drink, while he was standing the longest while at another table to chat with someone he obviously knew. The dishes are okay. The salmon or the cheese over it smelled a bit strange therefore you could not really enjoy it. If you are on a lunch break from the office, be aware that given the fact that the place is small and the kitchen is integrated into it, without any doors, you might leave somewhat smelly after lunch. So take this in consideration in case you have business meetings afterwards.

Expensive place on Calea Victoriei. During the week at tables outside it's very noisy due to high traffic. The food is at least 45 ron for anything. The burgers were a bit raw, but my tagliatelle with mushrooms and truffles had absolutely zero truffle taste, not even a little bit of inexpensive truffle oil, and they were very thin spaghetti instead of tagliatelle. Absolutely zero taste of anything. The waiter was correct, efficient, with zero smiles, absolutely no friendliness.

This was a lovely experience, very tasty burgers and pastas, and the staff just great. I went on my birthday and got a delicious surprise cake on the house!!! I will come back and I reccommed this place. 🙂 Good central location, easy access to public transport, a bit harder to find immediate parking.

Great food in the heart of the city. Right on Victoria Street you can enjoy a great view, delicious food and refreshing drinks. The seats are not the most comfortable but this is just a detail. Order one of their outstanding deserts to enhance your experience.

The place is ok. Not really that cozy and comfortable. The food was good but we were taken by surprise the artificially colored buns (didn’t look that tasty), but still good nonetheless. Prices kind of steep though. Don’t know what’s up with that. The potatoes were good as well but i think we ordered just one portion because again, the prices, gesus. It’s like you’re going to some high class restaurant but with the furnishings of a local street food joint.

Although small-ish and fairly crowded, the place averted as "food first, drinks second" offers a few dishes carefully prepared and happily promoted by it - romanian style dishes from the European cuisine. În a nutshell: the personnel is nice and the food is great

All the food I ever tried here was fresh and tasty ! Sometimes they even have their own creations made by their talented chef. ( they also have seasonal delights).The daily menu is updated every single day on the dashboard. The waiters are more than happy to get you through it and make recommendations. I recommend you don’t skip their signature fluffy American pancakes 🥞 such a yum 😋

Unfortunate experience. I ordered a bowl with tuna fish. The rice was not cooked, and they kept insisting that it should be like this. However, I don’t think that crunchy rice is “al dente.” You have to battle with the waitress to explain that “sushi rice” from the description doesn’t mean it’s uncooked. Overall, the dish was not seasoned and quite plain. It’s interesting that even edamame can be made unappetizing. To make matters worse, they still wanted us to pay for the uncooked meal. Only after talking with the manager and the cook could the situation be barely managed. The avocado toast was okay. Ginger limo was too sour.

Tried the teriyaki chicken bowl and the beef with squashed potatoes. They were both good and the prices are very decent. Place gets very busy at lunch time during the week so I would recommend a reservation. Service was decently fast, considering how crowded it was. Find a parking space around is almost impossible.

I was fascinated when I saw this restaurant while sitting in the bench nearly. Out of curiosity I check them in google and I found out that it was a good restaurant. I decided to take my dinner and generally I like the whole experience. From quick service and tasty food I could say it’s satisfying. 👏😊

Gram Bistro is a very cozy place with a wide variety of dishes. The restaurant is located 5 minutes walk from Victoria Square subway station. Staff is very friendly, service is fast and the food is tasty and heathy. I recommend it.

Coffee is truly great. food is almost good, but we were waiting for our order for 50 min, and received one great dish with pancakes and very hot omelet on crispy bread, and dish other dish with cold egg and completely soggy bread, so it was made a while ago. Not blaming waiters about that, but they could have communicated delays, propose alternatives or so, instead I had to approach them multiple time to check if our order haven’t been forgotten.

Very pleased with the staff, atmosphere, and sweet delicacies! I celebrated someone's birthday there, and the staff was very kind to light some candles for our panCAKE. My favorite part is that there aren't many tables, so the atmosphere is cozy, vintage. We all agreed that there were a lot of options to pick from, and all looked amazing. We were very happy to find out that they looked even better in real life than in pictures, and the portions were more than enough. One of my friends couldn't finish hers because she rushed eating it, it was so good, haha. 10/10 recommend! ⭐

Lovely place to come for a fancy dessert. Finding the entrance was a bit of a funny hit and miss, but when we got there the atmosphere was superb. Music was quietly playing and the cascade made everything serene. We were offered the menu and we were overwhelmed with the options, from the sweet and savory pancakes to the intricate drinks. I ordered a Christine and a La Vie en Rose drink. The prices were reasonable considering the area. The pancake was soft and sweet, with an amazing caramel sauce on it. As for the drink, you could really feel the rose syrup in it. We left a tip as the service was fast and kind. Overall, great location for either brunch, lunch or dinner.

Perfect place for a brunch! The menu has a lot of interesting stuff and they are all delicious. And the coffee is great! I always enjoy coming here, especially in the summer to stay on the terrace. Can be a bit crowded since it's very popular.

First of all: such wonderful welcoming staff, ready to attend you and help you with finding a seat and then always stay attentive and kind. The menu is very diverse for brunch options and everything is so fresh and tasty. Just the bread alone is so delicious. But so was the soup and the omelette. Very recommended.

Having breakfast here at least once is a must ! Everything on the menu is fresh and healthy and not to mention tasty as well ! Their cappuccino is one of the best I had in Bucharest ( so smooth and foamy). The vibe of the entire place makes you feel transported in small quaint coffee shop in Paris. Also a plus is that you can get some goodies for the house as well ( they sell bread and pastry to go at the boulangerie). Will come back.

We arrived at around 2 P.M, there weren’t any free tables, however we expected this as it was a Sunday, we didn’t wait long until one of the tables was free, they unfortunately did not serve eggs after 1 P.M. But the food and drinks were delivered to our table by the lovely waiter in less than 5 minutes after we have ordered, the coffee was great so was the food, I would however wished if the Granola had honey or if the Greek yogurt was sweeter, other than that it’s a perfect Sunday breakfast/brunch place

The place is nice and packed. I had to wait a little for a table,but the waitress helped me very fast. You can eat here even if you are a Vegan or Vegetarian. Good food. Good service is very nice. They disinfected the table before to sit. The place is pretty popular. They have also inside tables. I recommend it for breakfast. Omelet lovers have many varieties.

We came here on Sunday after 14:00 , the place was busy but we managed to find a table really fast. The place doesn’t take any reservations so you might have to wait. Big menu and you should take advantage of their bakery and order some sweets or bread. They are completely amazing. I was also impressed by the bartenders who managed to make the same exact Greek Freddo Espresso coffee. The service is fast.

Amazing Cafe! Came here for breakfast and the scrambled eggs and meat lovers are delicious. And the coffee is excellent. We had the dirty coffee, flat double white and the sweet coftale was a standout but all of them were great with the special milk.

Unexpectedly amazing little place. We almost walked past it. It’s a true hidden gem. I had the poached eggs with avocado and bacon and it was cooked to perfection. My husband had the meat lovers breakfast which was equally as perfect. The coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice were perfect accompaniment. Definitely worth a walk off the main tourist drag to have breakfast here.

Cosy coffeeshop in a beautiful old house with a lovely garden. Although this place is not in the city centre, I came here on a Sunday for brunch and the place was almost full, so making a reservation in advance is advisable especially on the weekends. Nevertheless, the staff was very helpful and managed to get us a table very quickly. I ordered a cappuccino and poached eggs. The coffee was alright, however I didn’t find the food to be tasty. So,sticking to coffee is advisable. Many people come to work here, but personally I find the place too noisy.

We had a spectacular dinner with exquisite food, great service and a very cozy atmosphere ❤️ While all the food I had was amazing, the noodles with scallops were were my absolute favorite, such a wonderful combination of textures and flavours. I'll definitely return here soon!

Excellent service and incredibly tasty food. Very good coffee also. Important: A reservation is absolutely required for Ramen Sunday.

I was in Bucharest for work and wanted an interesting culinary experience, so I came across Papila. At first, I was drawn by their ramen photos on Google (worth mentioning that ramen is served only on Sundays). I went on a Tuesday without a booking (not sure if usually needed mid-week so please check), and the staff were very kind and attentive. They even set up a lovely table for me outside, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The menu is clear and structured around three different sets. You always need to pair a first and a second dish together. What I think is not okay is that on Google it still shows you can order two firsts, which is unfortunately not the case anymore. This should be clarified, as it could be misleading. For food, I had the chicken liver parfait, which was excellent, followed by the lamb, which was beautifully prepared. For dessert, I went with the mango rice in coconut spinach sauce with black seeds and pralines – truly delicious. I started with a glass of cava and then a Spanish red (Rioja), both perfectly chosen. What I loved most is that Papila feels like it has a strong soul – you can sense the effort, care, and ambition behind it, and that they hold on to their standards. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I’d gladly come back.

Even better than anticipated! Beetroot salad was wonderfully different from what I've had previously elsewhere, perfectly balanced. The seaberry ginger lemonade with sparkling water was incredibly refreshing and tasty. Service was really great, very helpful and attentive. Bonus are the local recs posted inside on the wall, much appreciated.

An exceptional place with impeccable service and truly extraordinary food! I went last night for my birthday and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I booked for me and my boyfriend, and we also brought our two little dogs — they were welcomed right away, even with a blanket just for them! I’m vegan, so I had asked in advance if they could adapt something from the menu, and not only did they say yes, but when we arrived they treated me amazingly, giving me great suggestions and so much care throughout the evening. I’ve honestly never had such a wonderful dining experience. Highly, highly recommended! Thank you again for making my birthday so special ❤️

Had a great stay at Mercure Bucharest City Centre! The room was big and very clean, and the location is perfect for exploring the city. Breakfast was really good. Staff were super friendly especially the energetic and kind lady at the reception. Loved the free minibar in the Privilege room. Highly recommend!

Popescu is Amazing person! He is a true professional, the level of hospitality was among the highest I’ve experienced in Bucharest. Communication was excellent. The hotel staff are helpful, friendly, and bring great energy. Simply a wonderful hotel experience, I can’t wait to come back again! Thank you very much.

We really loved staying here. Very comfortable beds. Local to wonderful restaurants but the in house restaurant was wonderful so we opted to eat here twice. Lovely breakfast and outstanding staff. If we come back we would definitely opt to stay here again.

We come back here at least twice a year. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Bucharest. We're always welcomed with care and attention to every detail. The rooms are nice, comfy and clean. The breakfast is a must! And the reception staff, especially Mr Popescu, go above and beyond to make sure we have a pleasant stay. Shout out to him for being such a great host!

The location is amazing, very clean, and great staff members. We had the Baptism of our daughter in their restaurant and everything from the food, room, and staff was exceptional. We worked with Roxana from Sales who was very helpful and helped us with everything — she is very responsive and on point to any request. We would also like to say thank you to Cristian who was responsible for the F&B during the event and to the Chef who prepared delicious food. We stayed in Room 620 ( Privilege Room ), and this room is superb, big with a huge terrace and a great view. The reception staff was also amazing and also the entire team from breakfast and lunch who helped with any food request for our daughter. We truly recommend this location for any special event and vacation, as for sure we will return even for a “staycation “.

Rooms are okay but could be better.. I didn't find the showers particularly clean. The front desk man was rather grumpy, only the lady at my checkout was helpful and friendly. The location is nice, but the outside seating area always seems a bit grubby and the breakfast doesn't exactly give many options, so don't expect salmon here :)

Good hotel. Stayed here for a few nights for a business trip. Rooms were clean and bed was very comfortable. Location is great, on a side road of some main streets.

I love this place. This time I tried a healthy version of breakfast - Power Pancakes, Élodie and Lemonade. For a gym rat, these options are perfect: nutritious and tasty. On my previous visits I had most of their sweet pancakes and I can’t decide which one I loved the most. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming and they even plan on improving the place. 5/5

Maison des Crêpes has quickly become one of my favorite spots, perfect for breakfast, lunch, or even dinner. It’s tucked away in one of the nicest parts of town, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The staff are incredibly friendly, speak excellent English, and most importantly, make you feel right at home. Every dish I’ve tried, whether it’s the pancakes, eggs, or other menu items, has been beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. If you’re looking for a relaxed and easy start to your weekend, this is definitely the place to go.

Eggs benedict served on a very thing slice of bread, the sauce was all over the plate when I cut the first egg. Eggs arrived almost half an hour after I ordered them and in general the service was slow. I found it expensive as well, I cannot recommend unfortunately.

It feels like I’m in a province in France. The waitress is very “oui oui” amazing and the atmosphere makes you feel as if you are really in france. The pancakes are “Incroyable” and “Délicieux”. I recommend this place 100%.

I had such a good experience at Maison des Crêpes in Bucharest! The service was honestly amazing, everyone was super friendly and helpful. You can really tell they care about their guests. What stood out to me most was that they didn’t rush us at all, even after their official program was done. They stayed around, made sure we had everything we needed, and were just genuinely kind the whole time. Now, the food… wow. The crêpes are next level, both sweet and savory options were delicious. Everything looked great, tasted even better, and the portions were perfect. I also tried one of their specialty drinks, and it totally hit the spot. You can tell the ingredients are fresh, and the menu has a really creative twist to it. The vibe is super cozy and relaxed, perfect for brunch, a chill hangout, or even a small celebration. Delicious Crepes & Cozy Vibe! Such a lovely little creperie! We tried the Josephine pancakes and the Milla crepe — both were absolutely delicious. The pancakes were fluffy and full of flavor, and the crepe was perfectly balanced and satisfying. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. The staff were friendly, and the whole place had a warm, inviting atmosphere. A great spot for a sweet treat or a casual bite.
