Cookie shop
Ice cream shop
Hello Robin is a charming bakery located on 19th that specializes in a variety of cookies and other sweet treats. The bakery, which opened in 2013, was influenced by the owner of Seattle's famous Molly Moon's ice cream brand. Hello Robin offers freshly baked cookies in twelve different flavors daily, including unique options like orange habanero chocolate chip and salted butterscotch. Visitors can also enjoy ice cream cookie sandwiches at this cozy spot.
Hello Robin is an absolute dream for cookie and ice cream lovers! Their cookies are perfection , soft, chewy, and packed with incredible flavor. Whether you’re craving a classic chocolate chip or something more unique, every bite is pure heaven. Pairing them with their rich, creamy ice cream takes the experience to a whole new level! The quality is unmatched, and you can tell everything is made with love and the best ingredients. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. If you haven’t tried Hello Robin yet, you’re seriously missing out. Best of the best—100% obsessed!

Cookies were good. As a bakery owner, I am picky about cookies. Most cookies in bakeries are underwhelming and use the same base for them. These cookies. Have a crispy outer with a nice soft and chewy inside. My favorite was the birthday cookie as it had a very good cookie base flavor. Staff is friendly which is a plus and willing to answer questions about the different varieties. Good job staff!
Miranda R — Google review
Stopped here during my lunch to grab a dozen of their cookies. The flavors I purchased were classic chocolate chip, brown butter snickerdoodle, molasses, and the oatmeal chocolate chip. All were very delicious, with nice crisp edges and a chewy moist center. I've DEFINITELY discovered a new place to enjoy my love of cookies!!
Quincy R — Google review
Love this shop! The last time I visited was seven years ago, and everything is still so good. I'm a little sad they only offer salted caramel in a pint, but the cookies and other flavors are also delicious!
Maria S — Google review
Cute spot, smells delicious as soon as you walk in. We had snickerdoodle and a smores open faced ice cream sandwich. Which were delicious, however the ice cream portion seemed small to us. Super friendly staff
Adrienne P — Google review
Today we had a salted butterscotch and a s'mores cookie. They were both amazing! I have a feeling the butterscotch is overlooked tho and I cannot tell you enough how delicious it was. Definitely come in here and give these cookies a try. Also thank you to the lovely staff member who helped us out! 🌞 Hope we are back in very soon.
Monroe T — Google review
I got the blackberry flavor. Because, Blackberry reminds of Seattle. The texture was soft and pleasant but it was overly sweet, and I didn’t really get much blackberry flavor coming through. Overall, it was okay, but I was hoping for a bit more balance.
Kyle B — Google review
I haven’t been able to visit an actual Hello Robin location yet, but I recently found her ready to bake peppermint chocolate chip cookies at PCC and oh my goodness, they are delicious. I bake them for about 10 minutes and every cookie turns out chewy and gooey with crispy edges and a soft centre. My family came to visit recently for the holidays and everyone loved them! We ate an entire dozen in about 15 minutes. I bake them straight from the freezer and they are better than most cookie I’ve purchased fresh.. So, if you see these in the store, snag them before they are gone.

Grocery store

Butcher shop
Metropolitan Market Queen Anne (Uptown) is a local upscale supermarket offering a wide range of food items and prepared meals. One of its standout offerings is the signature chocolate chip cookie, which has gained a cult following. This warm, gooey treat is made with two types of Belgian chocolate, toasted walnuts, and sprinkled with sea salt. Baked fresh throughout the day, it's almost the size of a toddler's head and is known for its messy yet thoroughly satisfying experience.
I sure like this store. It's my first time ever shopping there. It has interesting items and the food looks good too. I will be returning more often.
Winnie P — Google review
Pros - Hot bar / deli / sushi bar are very tasty - Bakery is well stocked - Large selection of baking/home goods Cons - Staff is not shy about racial profiling at all. If you are ANY shade of non-white you will be followed by security, watched at the self-checkout and constantly asked “if you need help” while white guests shop in peace without being disturbed. Worst offender is the old brunette woman that oversees the self checkout - Prices are high when compared to other local stores (Safeway / QFC)

I am an early riser and I found this place for breakfast bar. I am a person who cater and cook for many events, so I have a highly developed taste for food. The breakfast bar was 1 star because some of the food went bad and had a sour taste to it. I reach out the person who is serving and he was fast to act and removed the items. I appreciated this. That is why they are getting 3 stars. The rest of the store was well lit up and had good a mount of varities of food. The pastry also was a bit dry and it seems not fresh. I didn't try their meats but the fruit and vegetables section was well stocked. Over all not a bad place. Just be careful what you are eating.
Sironaj H — Google review
I have been shopping here for 3+ years. Their vegetables are always fresh and great quality. I also love their fresh flowers and flower pots. Their baked goods are delicious especially mango macrons is a must try. Good variety for various groceries and house goods. Self checkout option is available. Highly recommended.
Gayathri S — Google review
Wonderful food options for immediate consumption: Salad Bar, Olive Bar, Poke Bar, Soup Bar, Hot Food Bar. Wonderful fresh fruits and vegetables.. meats, seafood! Great bakery items and you can even order a good cafe latte while you shop. Their Queen Anne Roast coffee is delicious. Great sushi options and their cheese counter can’t be beat. I will say it’s bit pricey but if you don’t overdo the quantities and just buy the amount you know you can consume, you will appreciate the QUALITY. They also run specials in all departments that’s fun to lookout for.
Zile D — Google review
I absolutely love this place. It has an amazing assortment of high end, healthy food. I believe it is like whole foods where they do not allow foods that have been banned in other countries (but not ours because our government doesn't care about the population) homemade pies, pastries. There hot deli is excellent. The prime rib sandwich a must. They have an olive bar and deli pastas you can mix with different fresh made entrees. I didn't get a chance to check out the bakery but I'm sure it's equally as fantastic as well as the butcher and seafood area. They have a fine cosmetic and wellness section, fresh flowers. It basically seems to be a more friendly more inclusive and less expensive version of whole foods. Count me in

Received 2-MONTH EXPIRED CHICKEN (expired May 15, delivered July 11) + completely rotten vegetables through Amazon delivery. Order #114-7064647-1389021. Your shopper physically handled packages with MAY expiration dates and sent them anyway. This is a serious food safety violation. Filing FDA complaint. How does 2-month expired chicken leave your store??
R D — Google review
The quality of the food in the deli as well as the hot food and salads and the olive bar are amazing. This is definitely worth the grocery store to check out. Yes you're going to spend a little bit extra money but it's totally worth it. I enjoy the customer service, and I really am appreciative of the selection of food that they have in all areas. The variety of cheese is amazing.

Cookie shop
Lowrider Cookie Company is a small bakery with two locations in Central District and Georgetown, known for its pocket-sized, seasonal cookie specials. The company focuses on small-batch baking and community growth, sourcing local ingredients and supporting organizations like Seattle NAACP and Mary's Place. Owner Emily Allport's inspiration for the name comes from her dachshund. The rotating monthly flavors attract families to visit frequently, offering soft cookies with unique flavor combinations.
Yes, yes, one thousand times YES. I think I’ve finally found Seattle’s holy grail of cookies. These are perfect—thick, chewy, fresh. Compared to other cookie spots and bakeries, I didn’t think they were too outrageously priced, either. My boyfriend is about to move right across the street from this spot and I’m terrified for my waistline. I judge a cookie spot the most by it’s classic chocolate chip cookie, and this one was a winner. Get them all—nothing disappoints. Such a cute little store too!
Caitlin C — Google review
Staff was super friendly! I picked up half a dozen cookies for my wife’s bday, who is an absolute cookie connoisseur and I picked up a few slices of the chocolate chip cookie cake. The cookie cake has potential, but it’s WAY too sweet. So much to the point where it tastes as though you’re eating sugar cubes. I say it has potential because I think it does too much. I think simpler would be better. You can’t really eat more than maybe 1/8 of the slice at once. I don’t think the goal is to finish the slice in one sitting, but you also don’t want to feel sick if you’re a fast eater. I don’t think I’d get the cookie cake slice again. If we did, I’d scrape 3/4 of the frosting off As for the cookies, I thought these were pretty good! We didn’t try any stuffed cookies because I wasn’t a fan of the seasonal flavor options for the stuffed cookies, so we went with the original. If you hear the cookies up for about 15 seconds, they’ll melt in your mouth. All that to say, I think the cookies are way overpriced. While yes, they are good, they certainly aren’t anything special enough to justify the price or go out of your way for. I don’t think I’d come back, unless I’m conveniently in the area.
Geoffrey H — Google review
My husband and I recently a lovely box of cookies in the mail and while the cookies that were shipped looked absolutely amazing the quality was a little disappointing due to the fact that shipping had made them a bit dry. I would recommend the bakery ship cookies is air tight/vacuum sealed packaging instead of a cellophane bag folded over once and closed with a small piece of scotch tape. Just an idea from a home baker.
Anna W — Google review
A cookie shop that also sells ice cream. There is no indoor or outdoor seating. They also sell some sliced cake. The closest public seating would be the central district Square area . There are also random benches on 23rd. One stuffed cookie is the size of 2-3 cookies. You can make your own cookie ice cream sandwiches here. When I went there was no line. For pride month, they had a pride flavor ice cream. The sweetness level here is on par with American dessert (think baskin robbins/ starbucks)
Lily — Google review
I got to try their strawberry shortcake, July 2025 limited edition cookie and it was so delicious. I really love a thick cookie so will definitely be back. I also liked the birthday cake and lemon cookies as well.
Festy B — Google review
So the cookies are good and the lemon crinkle is my favorite. My only problem is I asked if I could sample one and mind you I wasn't trying to get a free cookie but I was told no. If I'm about to spend $37 on a dozen cookies you would think they would have sample pieces you could try. That's a lot of money to spend when you can't try a sample.
Roger P — Google review
The best cookies in Seattle hands down. They’re gooey, crunchy on the outside, quality ingredients - basically everything you want in a cookie. My favorite are the brown butter triple chocolate chip. And the staff are always nice!
Iryna S — Google review
If these aren't the best cookies I can't remember which ones are! Lowrider makes the best. The street front shop smells about as perfect as a bakery can which is about how well the cookies taste. The chocolate chips taste like the best desert you could have asked for. Park in the neighborhood and walk over but wear stretchy pants.

Bakery
Breakfast restaurant
Dessert shop
Dahlia Bakery is a cozy spot that offers a variety of breakfast items, pastries, sandwiches, and their signature coconut cream pie. The bakery's flourless cookies are described as rich and decadent yet reminiscent of homemade treats. The establishment takes care to avoid cross-contamination in its shared kitchen space. Known for producing artisan bread, pastries, and cakes in small batches daily, the bakery also serves breakfast and lunch options such as egg sandwiches, quiche, and daily sandwich specials.
This charming little bake shop is a must-visit for pastry lovers, but be sure to go early if you want the best selection! Their offerings sell out quickly, and after tasting them, it’s easy to see why. I had the pleasure of trying a mochi donut, cookies, a ham and cheese croissant, and a fosette, and every single item was absolutely delicious. The standout for me was the fosette—it was exceptionally tasty, with a wonderfully moist texture that made each bite pure bliss. The balance of flavors was just right, and it had that homemade touch that sets a great bakery apart. The ham and cheese croissant was another highlight. Flaky, buttery, and filled with the perfect ratio of savory ham and melted cheese, it was a delightful mix of crispness and softness. The mochi donut had that signature chewy texture, and the cookies were fresh and satisfying. Whether you’re in the mood for something sweet or savory, this bake shop has something for everyone. If you’re in the area, don’t hesitate to stop by—but remember, the early bird gets the best treats!
C S — Google review
A popular local bakery with a variety of donut, pastries, breakfast sandwiches. The food was all good but not great; you might expect something amazing from a bakery, but it seems to fail on that point. Set expectations accordingly and this is a nice quick and cost effective breakfast. Expect a line, dine in seating is shared with Serious Pie until 11am.
Derek L — Google review
Really good breakfast sandwiches but not $14 good. We got the bacon and the veggie sandwiches. The bacon would have been amazing if not for the sauce that is on it. The veggie was good but it was just missing something.
Alex D — Google review
I walked in randomly off the street having done zero research and learned they don’t serve matcha— oops! They recommended Taz nearby, but I still got the smoked butterscotch oat cookie. It was divine! All their baked goods looked amazing, but I popped in 20 minutes before closed so there wasn’t a lot left.
Xär B — Google review
Super cool little bakery connected to Serious Pie. Amazing pastries that change daily. Unbelievable unique Mochi (gluten free) donuts! And one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had! Nice outdoor seating as well!
Chris S — Google review
Everything they offered looked SO good. The bakery side of things is absolutely worth going to. I had gotten a blueberry mochi donut and bacon and egg sandwich. The proportion of the breakfast sandwich was insane, but delicious. The only disappointment was the coffee, it wasn't anything especially great, but not bad. I just expected with their food being so good, the coffee would be the same. There wasn't a ton of interaction with the staff, but everyone seemed nice enough. The atmosphere however was very uninspired, really nothing special happening there, but that shouldn't be a reason not to go. Will absolutely be back when I'm in the area again!
Joe G — Google review
My wife and I just stopped in for a quick breakfast sandwich and we were blown away! The bacon and egg sandwich with Beecher’s cheese, arugula, smoked paprika aioli on a toasted English muffin was THE best breakfast sandwich I have ever had in my entire life….and I’ve had some good ones!!! WOW… don’t ever change how you make these!!! Super friendly staff as well!
Thomas D — Google review
This place was a great find! I was looking for a delicious breakfast sandwich and that’s exactly what I got. It was super tasty with great, fresh ingredients. I will admit I might have messed it up a little by adding bacon because it did not need it and made it a little too salty. Their baked goods all looked amazing and they had plenty coffee/tea options. Be aware this place shares its space with Serious Pie which is a place on my list to try too. If I’m looking for a good breakfast sandwich and in the area I will definitely check it out again.

Lady Yum in Denny Triangle is a delightful spot offering an array of colorful and flavorful macarons, along with champagne and wine. The French-inspired dessert shop features classic flavors like chocolate and strawberry, as well as unique options such as mango-habanero and maple-bacon. Catering to all ages, Lady Yum also offers kid-friendly flavors like smores and PB&J.
Walking by the sign of “champagne plus macaroon $5” we decided to get in and it was the best decision ever! My favorite was the unicorn macaroon SO DELICIOUS! They also sell other amazing souvenirs, gifts and tea. The decoration is lovely, I loved the washroom! And also the staff is so nice. Amazing experience in Seattle.

Stumbled upon this cute little macaroon shop. Delicious fresh tasting macaroons with seasonal varieties. Annie Personable, funny, respectful and deserves praise for being an awesome hostess. Will definitely come back again
Badi E — Google review
Every time I visit Seattle, Lady Yum is a must. The macaroons and service are always consistently great. This macaroons always fresh, full of flavor and they have great options. The macaroons are also not the smaller type. Prices are little more than other places I have been, but these are better as well. Stop in or visit the airport location if flying out. Place it great .

My family & I were walking by and saw the "$5 special: Glass of bubbly & one macaron" and thought it was a great deal and a nice little place to sit and relax! My little sister is 17 and couldn't have prosecco, but the woman working there offered her the deal and gave her some sparkling cider so she could join us which was very nice! And then we tried it, we loved the prosecco & the macarons were actually some of the best we've ever had!!! The peanut butter & smores were our faves. A lovely place to stop at!

I love this place so much. They have a wonderful macron and champagne combo, a large selection of flavors some unique, and everything is affordable. We got guava cucumber, honey espresso, and chocolate ganache all absolutely wonderful.
Lauren L — Google review
My partner and I came across their $5 bubbly + macaron deal and we are so glad that we did! The deal is a steal and the macarons are delicious. The staff was so accommodating to us and person that had mobility issues. I would highly recommend because of the quality of food, service, and value!
Neil F — Google review
The macarons were good but they didn’t have any tables that seated more than 2 people and didn’t even offer water to patrons. That being said, the variety of macaron offerings was amazing. The pear frangipane was excellent. Plus they have very fun wallpaper. I would recommend dining elsewhere
Kristina L — Google review
I was visiting Seattle and a lady at the hotel recommended this place. I went with 2 family members and we absolutely LOVED IT. We did the $5 deal of a glass of bubbly champagne and a macaroon and let me tell you, it was so worth it! FREDERICK is the nicest worker I’ve EVER met. His charisma was contagious and he really was the highlight of our Seattle trip. We ended up buying over 20 macaroons that day to take to the hotel after enjoying some there while sitting at their comfy chairs. We had to come the next day and bought over 25 more macaroons to bring back on the flight home just because we loved Frederick so much, he really made us feel welcome 🤗 . The whole experience was so delightful and I would recommend it to everyone, this is a must visit when in Seattle!

Bakery Nouveau is a charming bakery and cafe known for its French breads, sandwiches, quiches, and pastries. Visitors rave about the delectable sweets and sandwiches available, often finding themselves purchasing more than planned due to the tempting selection. The bakery's chocolates and cakes are particularly praised for their beauty and make perfect gifts. Their almond croissants are a standout item, with a generous size that allows for sharing.
I love this bakery. I've come here a few times and gotten different things. The pastries and food are decadent and light. They taste fresh and are genuinely worth trying. It's a really small and quaint place, it can be cramped when busy but I think it's cozy. Definitely give this place a try if you want a fresh tasting treat.

Bakery Nouveau is an absolute Seattle and Seattle area bakery! I am so fortunate to live in West Seattle and have a location next to me! The staff is always really nice and they all provide excellent customer service and they are always upbeat from my experience. The space at the West Seattle location is kind of small and the line can get long, so sometimes they have you line up outside. The space feels very much like a cozy traditional bakery/cafe. I enjoy the decor of the space. The food is absolutely delicious! I love their desserts, which are totally premium quality! They also sell sandwiches and bread, but I have only ever had their desserts. They sell coffee as well for a little pick me up! My favorite desserts are the tiramisu and the mocha chocolate cheesecake. Both of those items are incredible. My wife enjoys the pistachio cake that they make. I also enjoy the Paczki that they make. Paczki is a polish donut. They don’t always have it on regular basis, but when they do, it’s amazing! Overall, I highly recommend Bakery Nouveau if your looking to satisfy your dessert craving, or if you’re just looking for some coffee or lunch type of food!

Overall Rating: 3.5/5 (6/10) Recently wanted some pastries while in Seattle and heard of this spot! Walking in it was a small quaint cafe with only a few tables, which was fine. We were intending to leave with our product anyway! Large selection of Macarons, danishes, croissants, cookies, and more. We selected a strawberry pistachio cake slice, a chocolate covered Madeline, a honey pecan scones, and a pear Danish. I will say it felt a little rushed getting through the line, but it was 9am and they were busy. It just made it hard to get a good look at everything, if we had more time I think we would have chosen different or more options. We got to the car and opened the strawberry pistachio slice, it was good, however way too sweet for my liking, unfortunately couldn't finish it. The Madeline was good! But a bit more dense than we were use to. The scone was for a friend, they really enjoyed it (it smelled and looked good) and last the pear Danish was for my boyfriend. I stole a bite and that was the star of the show! Amazing Danish. I will return again to try other items in the future.

Such amazing sandwiches, bread, and sweets! I love the breakfast options and my favorite sandwiches are the ham & cheese baguette, California club, and BLT. I love you can get a slice of cake if you’re solo or want to try several options. Three downsides to consider. 1. Bread, breakfast, and sandwiches sell very quickly so try and get there before noon so you don’t miss out. 2. West Seattle store is very small & narrow and the lines often go into the street and it’s a bit chaotic honestly especially if it’s your first visit. Hang in there and try and go with the flow of others and you’ll be okay. However, if crowded social spaces make you anxious, this place may trigger you during busy times. 3. They’re closed Mondays & Tuesdays 😩 So try and stock up breads, etc on Sundays if you’ll have a craving. I also want to mention how amazing ALL their staff are. Always polite and kind and patient while you order. I’ve been a regular here -sometimes weekly- for four years and I’ve always had a positive experience (minus the crowded shop) with the friendly staff. Definitely recommend if you’re craving decadent pastries and cake or need a fancy cake for a special occasion. And the bread - good variety. Perfect for your holiday occasions & holiday orders can be placed online for convenient sidewalk window pick up.

So excited sharing my first experience. Very cute place for hang out if there’s a spot, the croissant is fresh (you could tell when you bite into it) cute macarons (very sweet you’ll needed when you’re on low sugar levels) Amazing service ☺️ will definitely recommend this place.

Friendly and helpful staff and tasty pastries and strong coffee I would say this is a grab and go type of place. The line is pretty long though it moves fast. While there are tables inside, it does get pretty loud Took me some time to find it as I couldn’t see the sign with the name outside Took me a while to find it though as I could

I almost missed it walking by. I love the cakes and croissants at BN. I know for a fact that they use good ingredients. I came in 3 minutes before closing. I haven't been here in years. Now that I live close by, I will be here more often. The service people were welcoming and very friendly. They weren't in a hurry to close. This place is a treasure. It's hard to find a bakery that sells cakes with real Italian or French buttercream.

A gem in West Seattle. Artisan breads, cakes other assorted treats. The cheesecake is always a winner. When you come by be sure to visit the husky deli a few doors down and try their famous ice cream.

Gelatiamo is a vibrant Italian cafe located in the Central Business District of Seattle. The bakery offers an array of treats including sandwiches, pastries, and their specialty - housemade gelato and sorbet available in numerous flavors. Maria Coassin, the owner, hails from a family of bakers in Maniago, Italy and has dedicated years to perfecting the art and science of making gelato.
Stopped by Gelatiamo and tried their pistachio and chocolate gelato in a cone. The flavors were rich and creamy—especially the pistachio, which had a nice nutty depth without being overly sweet. The chocolate was smooth and indulgent, a great complement. The texture was spot-on and the cone was fresh and crisp. Overall, a solid gelato experience in downtown Seattle. Worth a visit if you're in the area and craving something sweet.

I thought Vegas had the best Gelato. Not correct. It is in Seattle- specifically at Gelatiamo. I had x3 flavors in my own cup (and tried the x3 out of my boyfriend's as well).
Emily E — Google review
Really good gelato which does truly use a unique base for each flavor. This really makes the flavors rich and deep. My favorites are easily the pistachio, rice, and coconut, though their sorbets are all solid too. The waffle cone isn't necessary; the gelato shines on its own.
Kyle C — Google review
Best place in Seattle for cold treats! The flavors of the gelato are bold and tasty, and it’s really hard to decide which was my favorite, but their pistachio was the BEST I’ve ever had! They also have tiramisu and fruit cakes which are also lovely 💕 😋

This place is amazing! The staff is super friendly, and the gelato is top-notch. Try the affigato... it's the perfect treat! All this and a plentiful selection of pastries.

Delicious! My server, Luna, recommended a fruit tart to me, and it was amazing! She was very helpful and the pastry was so good! You can tell they’re all made in house, it was very fresh and not to sweet, I will definitely be coming back!

Cinnamon Works is a renowned bakery located at Pike Place Market, known for its classic cinnamon-centric pastries and coffee drinks. Established 35 years ago, the bakery has expanded its menu to include a diverse range of delectable treats such as muffins, pies, and giant chocolate chip cookies. Catering to various dietary needs, Cinnamon Works offers vegan and gluten-free options including cinnamon rolls, zucchini muffins, banana bread, pumpkin cookies, and chocolate espresso pies.
We were looking for coffee when we came across this shop. We ordered 2 Americano coffees, and they were delicious. Best coffee in the area. The coffee was so good we went back for more. They also make delicious cinnamon buns. We got the chocolate hazelnut cinnamon bun, and it was so tasty.
Janet S — Google review
I decided to try the cookies instead of focusing on what the name of the place suggests—Cinnamon Work. Maybe I'll give the cinnamon rolls a shot next time, though I’ve seen mixed reviews. You never know until you try it yourself. For my first experience, I ordered the chocolate chip cookie. It was a massive cookie, and the dough had a great flavor. Overall, I thought it was good—definitely not disappointing. However, when I went back for more cookies before leaving town,I didn't enjoy round 2. For example, the chocolate chip pecan cookie was a letdown. The dough had zero flavor—it was pretty tasteless. I wouldn’t recommend it, which is surprising considering how much I liked the plain chocolate chip cookie. I also tried the "monster" cookie, which was fine, but not better than the original chocolate chip cookie. It was decent, but I’d say it was still better than the pecan chocolate chip. On my second visit, I noticed something strange too: the chocolate chip cookie was a bit thicker than the one I had during my first visit (pictured in this review). This made me question the consistency of their cookies. Thankfully, the flavor was still there, and surprisingly, the cookie didn’t harden as quickly as I expected, even after traveling with it for a while. One more thing to note—the ordering process could be smoother. It's a walk-up counter, but people tend to cut in line without asking if you are waiting and the staff doesn’t always pay attention to who's next. Allowing others jumped ahead — while you’ve been waiting on the orders ahead of you. . It’s a small thing, but definitely worth mentioning.
K L — Google review
This cookie is huge, enough for 2-3 people. It's nice and warm. I found it pretty good plus I like cookies. I feel like it could use just a tiny bit cleaning.

We were drawn in by the aroma of cinnamon rolls, and found out they had this Infaltion buster deal, which comes with a cup of black drip coffee, and a cinnamon roll. The cinnamon roll tasted alright though.

Cinnamon Works is part of Pikes Place Market, which is a vibe. The gluten free cookies were enormous! Everything we tried - snickerdoodle, cinnamon raisin and chocolate chip cookies were delicious. The system of ordering and paying is a little inefficient though it's well worth the visit.
Amber S — Google review
Stopped here to grab a Snickerdoodle cookie. The service was quick, the worker was friendly, and the amount of food for the price was incredible. If you’re in the market, stop by.
Dustin K — Google review
Quant Pike Place institution with huge portions! They pretty much just serve cinnamon rolls, cookies, and muffins, plus some hot drinks like coffee and tea. Nothing here will blow your socks off, but it's all plenty tasty and satisfying. The cookies are my favorite, especially the peanut butter, monster, and chocolate chip. The sticky bun is also pretty good. They have an option to get your cookie topped with icing, sprinkles, cinnamon, chocolate chips, and a host of other goodies, which is fun! And of course, lots of options which are vegan, gluten-free, or both!
Kyle C — Google review
Dude. If you go to Pike Place, go to Cinnamon Works first, so you get a gluten free monster cookie before they run out. And while you're there, get everything else they have that's gluten free. And a hot chocolate. Even if it takes a couple days to finish it, it's still so good. I want one so bad right now I'm about to drive downtown.

Macrina Bakery, a beloved establishment in Seattle since 1993, is renowned for its artisan breads, delectable pastries, and savory sandwiches. The bakery's sweet treats are known for their rich and indulgent flavors, while the breakfast and brunch menus feature mouthwatering sandwiches made with fresh bread. With multiple locations in the greater Seattle area, including the spacious Aloha Cafe on Capitol Hill, Macrina Bakery offers a diverse menu that blurs the line between bakery and restaurant.
I’m not sure how this place could be anything less than 5 stars! Amazing staff, FANTASTIC coffee and great food!! The ham and Gruyère pastry was my favorite. As well as the peanut butter cookie. Lots of space inside and outside the bakery. People catching up or doing work. Everything is good you can’t go wrong!

Feel completely robbed. I bought three chocolate croissants, and as I was about to pay, a young lady told me the third one was offered because it was slightly damaged. I appreciated the gesture and thought it was a nice commercial move. But in the end, I was charged around $20 and realized I had actually paid for the damaged one. Even worse, when I opened the box, none of the croissants were fluffy; they were very hard, almost as if they were failed batches. I feel totally ripped off paying for that. It’s not professional, nor respectful toward customers. I definitely do not recommend this store.

Small but mighty. Great coffee. The cherry hand pie at this location was way too crumbly, falling apart in my hands as I bit it ..I would guess from too much shortening or lard. The nectarine upside down cake was better. I would rank the new MI location over this one on every level but as far as Queen Anne goes...a solid bakery stop.

I have been here a couple of times and I like this place. I liked their blueberry scope and the croissants and recommend them. We also tried the bagel with creme cheese and salmon which was good as well. My wife tried the sausage and kale strata which was nice as well. I liked the bagel and salmon better.

Best avocado toast I've had in my life! I've been dozens of times to their several locations, and the pastries and food are always top notch. But today they outdid themselves. The avocado was creamy and unadulterated, the bread was the perfect crunchy grainy texture, and the lemon vinaigrette was the perfect zesty counterpoint to all the other flavors. Service was great as usual. And it's always a pleasant place to sit, at every location, flooded with light.

We tried the blueberry scone and almond pinwheel, they were more like bread, very little sugar, nothing special

Macrina is my go-to when I want a sure thing for pastries and bread. Classics like the croissants sell out, so mornings are your friend. Coffee is solid, and locations feel bright and welcoming—easy for quick catch-ups. If you’re headed east, the Mercer Island café is a convenient stop right off I-90. Everything travels well; I often grab a loaf to elevate a simple dinner at home.

Hood Famous Cafe + Bar is a vibrant and inviting counter-serve space located in the International District. It has gained local fame for its Filipino-inspired baked goods, coffee, and specialty drinks. The cafe is known for infusing Filipino flavors into their offerings, such as the signature ube cheesecake, ube latte, and ube cookies. In addition to sweet treats, they also offer savory items like bitter melon quiche.
Although we like cooking at home we always visit and support Filipino restaurants when out of town. Hood Famous delivers on taste, flavor and presentation! The chicken arroz caldo is luscious and comforting, with the toppings of crispy fried garlic and the thin chicken skin added an interesting and great contrast to the creaminess of the rice. The tapsilog and longsilog (beef tapa and longganisa patties were perfectly cooked and cooked. They were tender and flavorful. The desserts and drinks were equally delicious and provided a satisfying way to end our meal. The crew is amazing and friendly, and the chefs and cooks obviously know what they are doing and serving. The quality of the food and service is worthy of more stars than this platform can offer. The space is spotless and the vibe very upbeat without being loud. Great place to bring family and friends to! Pro tip: Visit the sauce bar they have next to the counter to make your own dipping sauce with the variety of vinegars and sauces they are offering for free. The Lakan hot sauce and banana ketchup will make your palate dance!

Perfect location for brunch on a Sunday! My colleague and I stopped here as we had heard good reviews about this Filipino cafe! It did not disappoint! I tried their Ube Ice Latte, and it was the perfect blend of sweetness and expresso! I would highly recommend this drink! For brunch, I ordered the Pork Menudo (which is a tomato based pork dish with a side of rice). It was my first time trying it, and it was decent. The tomato taste was strong, which was not something I was used to. My colleague ordered the Longsilog, which was different from the normal sausage Longsilog he was used to. Service was amazing, and they were quick. The waitress accidentally spilled a bit of my latte but cleaned it up right away. I'd recommend anyone trying out this cafe if they want to try a Filipino cafe!
Carol V — Google review
This place is awesome. I rolled in a little after opening on a Thursday and it was pretty quiet. I ordered at the kiosk, grabbed a number, and sat at a table with a convenient outlet for my laptop charger. I easily connected to their free Wi-Fi (which is apparently not available on weekends — be warned). I started with a chicken arroz caldo with crispy chicken skin and a poached egg plus a pandan Italian soda. The arroz caldo is fantastic! Warm, hearty, and texturally interesting, it's comfort in a bowl. The add-ons are non-negotiable, in my opinion. The pandan Italian soda is also tasty and unique, though a coffee lover would probably just prefer a pandan latte. I enjoyed my food and sipped on my drink for a couple hours while I got some work done. The cafe picked up a little as the morning went on but it stayed relatively quiet and pleasant. Around lunchtime, I ordered a longsilog (basically a breakfast plate with Filipino pork sausage patties). I also added a mung bean patty to give it a try. When it arrived, I topped it off with some chili crisp and went to town. Wow! Explosion of flavor. The pork sausage is unbelievably juicy and tender. It's perfect with some runny egg yolk and a bit of rice. The greens and pickled veggies add a nice crunch and kick of acidity. The mung bean patty is a little less exciting — a bit dry and without a ton of flavor. But if you're not a meat eater, it's a decent alternative! I finished my meal and then ordered an assortment of pastries to go. They have a huge variety of unique flavor combinations! Several of them are classic Filipino sweets that you'd be hard pressed to find elsewhere in Seattle, so it was really cool to try them. The cheesecake is one of their specialities, so I got several varieties to try. Pro tip: you should really enjoy these cold. Once they warm up to room temperature, their flavors dull significantly. My favorites are the Vietnamese coffee and white chocolate guava, but the ube is also rich and unique. A few other standouts for me are the turon cream puff, the black sesame roll, the mango peach empanada, the bibingka corn muffin, and the beef mechado pocket. If you're a fan of less sweet desserts, you'll probably really enjoy the ube pianono cake slice, the cassava cake, and the biko. Overall, I can't recommend this place highly enough. The hot dine-in foods, hot or iced drinks, savory pastries, and sweet desserts are all flawlessly prepared in their own ways.
Kyle C — Google review
Super cute Filipino coffee shop with unique drinks (iced matcha with lilikoi), ube latte. Their mini cheesecakes were delicious with fun flavors like POG and white chocolate guava. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the lilikoi matcha…the flavors just weren’t my favorite. But everything else was good. They have a cute store with various Filipino goodies like chocolate, children’s books and soap.
Rhodes F — Google review
I love this cafe! It’s very cute inside and the food, dessert and drinks were very good! The ube drink has enough sweetness and ube flavour as most I’ve had from other cafes lack ube flavour. We came back three times during our trip! I also appreciate that they had the syrups for sale which are great for those who live far away. By some chance I visit Seattle again, I would definitely come back.

While visiting Chinatown, we came across this wonderful Cafe that served Filipino cuisine. There was a line, but it moved along pretty quickly. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about their food. We ordered several items so that we could sample each other's dishes as well as a few of their signature drinks. They do have a dine in area, but also noticed that you can get your food to go. Highly recommended, go check them out! Salamat!

Quick stop before taking Amtrak out of town. I was impressed by the tranquil, unhurried, yet friendly, efficient service. This place has a wide variety of items with a separate food area from drinks. There is also a cultural selection of gift items, photos of the history. Seating inside was comfortable and arranged for small groups. There was far too much on the menu to sample in one trip. Please consider this for a peaceful cultural break. Delicious!

Temple Pastries is a bakery that makes some of the best cruffins in Seattle. The bakery's unique ingredients and experimental style make their pastries stand out from others, and the sourdough-focused bakery has quickly earned a following in the Central District.
By far the best pastry shop in Seattle, they have the most unique things and constantly change it up. Today we had the hazelnut praline flan, which has some sort of croissant crust, and it was SO GOOD!! Never had a flan like that before! And the rhubarb custard croissant was really good, still sour and a little sweet. Want to try everything here! A bit expensive, but you don’t find stuff like this anywhere else!

The cinnamon cream cheese griffin is my absolute favorite. It’s crunchy, creamy, and messy, and so so good. Great with the pretty cortado that I had. Every pastry I have ever had here is amazing. Just looking at their case, I could eat (at least) one of each. They always have something new, seasonal, and different. The vibe here is so cool- very planty and minimalistic, but not sparse. Anyway, come here to hang out or wait in the line because trust me, it’s worth it!

Beautifully prepared and delicious food. Stopped by this morning to load up on pastries for family that was visiting, got a few tea cakes and donuts some savory treats like the gruyere and shallots croissants and tried some new things with the miso caramel cookie. Everything that we got was flavorful and well-cooked. The lobby is bright and open and I love all of the different plants. When I went the line was wrapped out the door and I was concerned it would take forever but staff had things moving quickly and smoothly without making me feel rushed. Definitely recommend checking this place out!

Goodbye Macrina, Goodbye Farine, Hello Temple Pastries ❤️ I love food, I love bakeries. I've never felt like I couldn't reproduce at least a part of a menu, but this place is in its own league. We had a mushroom quiche, and the made to order sausage breakfast sandwich. Absolutely stellar. The quiche, the mushrooms, and the egginess once heated to serve was so good and it wasn't what I ordered but I forced sharing 😂. I actually went back and ordered the cheesy, egg and sausage sandwich. It was so good, my walk back to work all I kept talking about was how it was so good. The sausage breakfast sandwich was executed so well. The egg was perfectly cooked, the sausage was out of this world, and the cheesiness was American cheese that made you feel like a kid again. The bread was crispy, soft and buttery all at the same time. I didn't know that could be possible. And last. The flan cruffin? It was like a Portuguese egg tart made for Americans but with the elegance of the cruffin and some crispy caramelized bottom layer. There was no holding back on the vanilla beans in the custard. As any Viet person would say when something is perfectly executed, "it's not too sweet." Definitely excited about coming back again. And the team, sooooon sweet. I'm glad we are walking distance. There isn't enough miles to walk off all the goodness. 😂

Incredible bakery where everything—from flavors to techniques—is executed with absolute precision. The space is surprisingly large, with plenty of seating downstairs, even more upstairs, and a few outdoor tables as well. As expected, they're known for their pastries and baked goods, but they also offer an extensive menu of coffee, drinks, and a few sandwiches. I started with the breakfast sandwich and a seasonal drink whose name escapes me—it was a mix of matcha and lemonade. The sandwich was very tasty, with the highlight being the fresh-baked milk bread. The drink was interesting, but the grassy-sour combination wasn’t really for me. Naturally, I also tried a variety of baked goods. My favorites: • Parisian hazelnut flan – Like the best custard tart you’ve ever had. Absolutely phenomenal if you get it warm, first thing in the morning. • Banh mi sausage croissant – Really unique and delicious. You might be skeptical of the pickled carrots and daikon, but they blend perfectly with the buttery croissant. • Rye ham & cheddar – A rye croissant isn’t something you see often, but it’s great—more nutty and savory than a standard one. • Kouign amann – I mean, of course. The croissant layers are light and fluffy, and the caramelized syrup is rich and delicious. • Cardamom almond brioche – Simple, with perfect texture and balance of flavors. • Chocolate & cocoa nib cookie – I never thought to put cocoa nibs in a cookie, but it's a perfect way to add extra bitterness without overpowering other flavors. • Strawberry macaron – Probably the best macaron I’ve ever had. The texture is unbelievably light, and it’s bursting with flavor—unlike most macarons around here, which just taste like a bland Oreo. All the macarons are excellent, but the strawberry is my favorite.

The best croissant pastries I've ever had! I've tried many croissant-based pastries, and this is by far the best one I've had across the country. Sadly, I was only visiting, but I went back twice within five days of my visit, which should tell you something. Food: The best things to get here are: gruyere cheese croissant (a must), the mushroom quiche, and the flan. Honestly any croissant-based pastries. Patisserie isn't their strong suit but their raspberry charlotte was quite amazing. Their black sesame desserts are a hit or miss, sometimes they would have a weird herbal-y taste to it. Coffee is a no. We got an espresso latte and a match latte, both were very bland so not worth your $7. Vibe: Very cute with plenty of sitting areas for a bakery. Bathrooms are locked with codes fyi. The line starts to pick up at around 9:30am on the weekend. Do go early since they sell out most of their best pastries in the morning. We went once at 2pm and they only have a third of the pastries case left.

Lovely little neighborhood pastry shop. Very cute inside. They have some interesting pastries and cakes. I got the miso shishito brioche donut and it was really balanced - savory, pillowy, and correct filling to dough ratio. Latte was also very good but temperature could have been a little warmer.
Lin Y — Google review
A very cute pastry shop in the neighborhood where you can drink wine and/or coffee solo or with friends. Was recommended to come here by a friend. I got the hazelnut praline flan which has a very crispy croissant shell! I can see the specks of vanilla bean inside, so if you like flan I would recommend this. The gateau basque has a short crust like shell with a vanilla custard cream inside, not too sweet and very good buttery taste. The rye pain au chocolat, I was very curious to see how the rye plays into the flavor, but it’s super flakey and tasty. Enough chocolate taste with every bite, but beware a friend told me to eat it that day otherwise the next day the croissant has a chewy texture probably because of the rye.

The charming pink and white interior adds to the joyous experience of visiting this cookie haven.
Cute shop with friendly staff and AMAZING COOKIES AND SHAKES! We tried a chocolate shake, a strawberry shake, the lava float with their pineapple soft serve and some cookies to go. We haven’t even tried the cookies yet but all of our cold treats were fantastic. The traditional shakes have some sort of magic in them to be uber creamy without being overly thick or too heavy. We will be back.

We were gifted a gift card for this place because last year I was gifted cookies from here they were made for the 49ers and they were delicious. It was really hard to choose which four to get so we ended up getting eight well actually nine we were given one for free. Uh an absolutely fabulous and fantastic cookie! They are not a small cookie but it was sooooo good and had to eat a whole one! They all were delicious but my favorite was the Taylor! The frosting was perfect! I did warm up the Madison (chocolate chip) and had it with ice cream, so that was a close second! Service was very friendly and they follow strict COVID guidelines, so be prepared to wait outside, but it’s worth it!

Sandwich shop
Slab Sandwich is a popular sandwich shop located near the renowned Lark restaurant. The cozy counter-serve space offers a variety of inventive sandwiches and pies, including options like short rib meat pies, English muffin breakfast sandwiches, and gluten-free flatbread. The Spanish sardine sandwich is highly recommended for its flavorful combination of meaty fish and piperade on a soft French roll. Additionally, the shop serves various pies with offerings like caramel apple pie between layers of buttery pie crust.
Ever since Scratch on 12th closed down I’ve been on the hunt for place that makes sandwiches as good as they did, and I think I finally found it. Much like Scratch, the sandwiches seem a bit small at first, but one bite and…omg the flavors. It’s well balanced, and by the time you’re done you’re full because the meat portions are juicy and generous. It passes my Chipotle test - worth the flavor and not leaving me hungry with a list price around $15. I plan to try every sandwich they have, but the two I’ve gotten to were excellent. Thick, juicy meat, balanced and flavorful sauces and other items, and soft bread that completes the taste and feel. I even got a free cookie. I’m not much of fan of cookies, but this one continued the trend of being well balanced (and well salted), and everyone I shared it with enjoyed it. The shop itself it just a counter and a drink fridge, no real place to sit. It works, it’s nice, but plan to take it to go. I will be back here as often as I can, tho probably not as often as I’d like as they’re only open for lunch.

Absolutely delicious Cubano sandwich. Highly highly recommend. Cool spot connected to a restaurant where they allow you to dine at the bar. Kind employee. But the sandwich was so so so good.

The young man who served us today was so welcoming and polite, great service. 10/10 for service, this business is lucky to have him. The sandwich and fries were delicious. Indoor and a little outdoor seating. Bathrooms were clean. Will be back for sure.

I’ve been coming here for a couple years now, as the old location used to be across from my workplace. Fortunately, their new location is just a 5 minute walk away! My favorite thing here is the brisket sandwich. I love how juicy it is with the sauce, peppers, and marinated brisket. It’s just so yummy! There used to be a cashier that was the absolute sweetest to me, who always included a salted chocolate chip cookie with my order. Even now, without that particular person, I can tell their customer service is excellent & attentive. If you need a quick lunch during your work break, they’re super quick with the sandwiches, too! There’s something special about a good sandwich — so simple, few ingredients / toppings, and yet, so filling & delicious. Will continue to come back, again & again. Appreciate y’all at Slab! 🥪

It’s a great place for sandwiches with seating inside the beautiful Lark restaurant. We went on a cold Saturday around 1230 and we’re easily able to grab a seat. The fried chicken sandwich is delicious as is the burrata salad. Kids and adults enjoyed it. It was fun to sit at the window and stay warm while enjoying good food.
Aidan M — Google review
These are some of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten. They grill the inside of the bread so it's crispy and a little burnt, leaving the outside bread soft and somewhat chewy but not dense. Honestly best sandwiches ever. We tried them all even the burrata sandwich which can be very boring was delicious. Yummy balsamic vinegar, scrumptious mozzarella fresh basil. Just yummy! The Cubano is fantastic! The pork is roasted, soft, not try at all, with the pickles...yum! The service is great. Recommendations are perfect. The atmosphere is very simple nothing special but the fantastic food makes up for that.

WARNING: AFTER READING THIS REVIEW YOU WILL WANT SLAB TO CATER EVERY FUTURE EVENT! Updating to include about my AMAZING catering experience with Slab for my graduation party! As a big fan of their sandwiches, I was delighted to hear that they offered sandwich platters. I worked with Allison from start to finish and having nothing but kind words to share about Slab's customer service. I ordered sandwiches for 50 people and the portions are so great that we had several leftovers (aka hangover cure ). Each sandwich was cut in half and wrapped on the platter. They took such special care to label each sandwich type and even separated the vegetarian options which made it so easy for my friends. All of the guests were raving about the sandwiches throughout the party! They accommodated my party time even though it was outside regular business hours and every member of the staff congratulated me when I picked them up Thanks for making my day so special! All of the sandwiches are made of leftover meat from Lark. The bread is crispy and the meat is juicy- a hard balance to perfect. My partner got it for lunch yesterday & insisted we get it again today for me to try. We split the Cubano sandwich & the Brisket sandwich. Our order was ready within 15 minutes of the phone call! I also saw on their website they offer platters. This would be the perfect place to cater a party that pleases all! We will definitely be back.

Midnight Cookie Co, established in 2017, is a go-to spot for delectable treats that are sure to lift your spirits. They offer a convenient late-night cookie delivery service through their website, where you can choose from traditional cookies like snickerdoodle and oatmeal raisin chip, select cookies such as white chocolate macadamia and double chocolate chip, or vegan options. Customers have raved about the sweet & salty and lemon poppyseed cookies.
Stopped by Midnight Cookie Co. at Pacific Place to grab a coffee and ended up having one of the best cappuccinos I’ve ever tasted. I tried it with lavender syrup, and it was absolutely out of this world - smooth, flavorful, and not overpowering at all. Their menu also has cookies, ice cream, and other beverages, so there’s plenty to choose from. Didn’t get cookies this time, but if they’re anything like the coffee, I’ll definitely be back to try them. The service was quick, making it a perfect spot to grab a coffee or treat while shopping at the mall. Note: They are located on the ground floor next to the elevators.

1 cookie is $3, 6 pack is $17. Well worth it. I got the Coconut Chocolate Caramel cookie and they are absolutely cracked, gooey, and perfect. Service was quick and the cookies were warm upon ordering.

I ordered the birthday cake and PB cookies. They were pretty good. I do feel like the birthday cake had a slight aftertaste. I wanted to try the Ube marshmallow cookie, but I as too nervous after reading reviews of how other cookies were dry or with no taste.

Its a tiny little kiosk on the lower level of the mall, but worth searching for! Cookies were fresh and nothing short of amazing, we went for one and left with 8 because of the selections. Ice coffee and Italian sodas were both full of flavor. Definitely a good spot if you got a sweet tooth or dont want the regulator coffee chain

Great surprise when looking for a sweet bite in the area. Came in for a cookie and ended up with a couple (sweet & salty, and lemon poppyseed). I will be back while I am visiting the area. $2.75 each cookie but discounted price in bulk. Service was phenomenal as well. I recommend this place. Note: They are actually located inside the shopping mall, in the basement, next to the elevators.

I’m a cookie connoisseur. I stay in touch with all the local bakers and try new places as I get the chance. I’m going to start rating places on the people, cookie taste/ texture and variety. 1- People: service was perfect. I was greeted, given recommendations and honest opinions on preference. 5/5 2- Taste/ texture: I have to admit, I like cookies with a variety of textures. For instance, their peanut butter (4.6/5 and highly recommended) has a soft interior, crunch on the perimeter with that signature sandy/ sugary coating. It tasted amazing and was close to perfect ( a little stronger on the peanut flavor and it’s flawless). The cookies and cream had great flavor but the texture was one note and denser than I prefer. The lemon poppyseed had all the textures going but was light on the lemon. I just crushed one so I’m not saying it’s not worth trying. I’d actually rank it #2 under the peanut butter. The birthday cake was good too, just eat it the day you get it. I’d pass on the snickerdoodle, m&m and the toffee one. They simply lacked flavor and were off texturally. 2.5/5 3- Variety: I’m starting to sense a theme around Seattle. These shops seem to be copying Menüs of competitors and putting their spin on it. That to me is risky unless you feel you have a superior cookie. I won’t name names but the peanut butter is the only one that was different and the one I’d say go get 6 of them. Get a lemon too. Nothing out of the box or really unique. 2/5

This was my go-to bakery and breakfast spot steps from my Airbnb during my vacation. My son said his sausage biscuit was the best one he ever had. I enjoyed several of their pastries on different mornings. Indoor/outdoor seating, Wi-Fi, a restroom code, Seattle prices. Friendly staff with quick service. Order, and they will call you for your beverage and bring your breakfast sandwich to your table. I highly recommend this venue.

Nice cozy bakery cafe in the neighbourhood. They have a variety of breakfast options like pastries and sandwiches. The sandwiches are pre-made and they just warm them up. Vegetarian sandwich options are limited. The ambient is good and the staff are friendly.

Solid bakery fit a great morning start. Coffee was refreshing as well. We ate here before embarking on our cruise travels to Alaska…it was a short walk from the pier. The people seemed especially hospitable and we enjoyed our quick breakfast.

Friendly staff and quick service. I got a latte, which was excellent with beautiful presentation. I also got a Bialy Breakfast Sandwich, which was good, but could have used more goat cheese and filling in general relative to bread. Would go again, but I might choose a pastry next time.

The food is decent. No bacon tho on the bacon egg and cheese bagel. That was a bummer. They cant do substitutions because the sandwiches are pre-made. I also with there was a sauce on the bagel. My wife got the cate sandwhich. She said it was pretty good. We also got the pecan roll and the orange hazelnut pinwheel which were both good. Cute little shop for a coffee and a quick bite.

Super cozy little cafe serving up some delicious baked goods and sandwiches. I had a quiche and a fresh baked pastry. The quiche tasted fresh and delicious and I would definitely have it again. The baked good I had was also fresh and fantastic

Way too sweet & dirty inside. Flies on the pastries and circling the seating area. Matcha latte tasted like Trader Joe’s instant mix. Star for friendly service.

I really wanted to love this spot but unfortunately the food didn’t hit the marks for me. This is my second Google review ever but I feel called to share my experience. Everything about the place is charming I love the cute neighborhood location very PNW. However, this was our first time getting the breakfast sandwiches and it left us severely disappointed. We ordered the Baily sandos and they came luke warm, with close to raw onions (that were supposed to be sweet and roasted), they were poorly put together, and had cold overly cooked eggs. I think if you’re going to spend $11.75 on an egg sandwich at least the eggs should be cooked properly. It felt like the sandwich was just slapped together with little care. I work in the food industry and understand the pressure of a busy morning with high tickets…. BUT, I also know that taking a few extra seconds to make sure the food you’re serving is as best as it can be can go a long way. I probably will not return as I don’t feel it is worth the price. I think if some adjustments were made the product would be 100x better.

Shug's Soda Fountain and Ice Cream is a charming old-school soda fountain that offers a delightful array of local ice cream, housemade sodas, sundaes, and sandwiches. The establishment boasts a restored 1930s soda fountain that exudes nostalgia. While they don't make their own ice cream, they proudly serve Lopez Island Creamery's delectable flavors in various forms such as sundaes and floats.
It was a random walk-in to Shug’s to pick up icecream and we were so glad we did! We got the Guava Sorbet and Coffee ice cream and enjoyed both! “Shug's offers classic ice cream treats with a modern twist, including sundaes, house-made sodas, floats, and ice cream cocktails. You can choose to sit at the counter, a private table, or outside on their patio. They also have a sidewalk walk-up window for to-go orders.”

5 Stars – A nostalgic treat! This place is absolutely adorable with a fun retro vibe! We ordered the toasted marshmallow sundae and it was SO good — rich chocolate sauce, creamy vanilla ice cream, and perfectly torched marshmallows on top. Sweet, gooey, and indulgent in the best way! Great spot to treat yourself after exploring Pike Place. Will definitely come back to try their floats next time!

We were looking for some ice cream and landed upon Shug's. A small, cute place that had plenty of flavors and sundae's to choose from. I ordered the Big Eddie and it hit the spot. The service was quick and very friendly. The only thing I would say is that the place was very stuffy. I don't know if the AC was not working or if it's just the way the place is, but it was stuffy inside. I would definitely come back here to try some of their other flavors.

If you’re at Pike Place Market in Seattle, this is the perfect time of year to treat yourself to some delicious ice cream! The place offers a wide variety of flavors to choose from, and the staff is super friendly and helpful—they’re happy to offer suggestions if you’re unsure what to pick. It’s a cute little spot that’s totally worth a stop. No harm in indulging—this ice cream is definitely worth trying!

Shug's is an ice cream parlor on the top of Pike Place Market. It's easy to get to but parking on this area can be a real pain so be prepared to walk. Inside, they have a lot of tabletop seating to fit probably 2 dozen people. Their menu is a good size, with ice cream and soda combinations. Pricing is a bit high but that's normal for this area, although portion sizes are decent. The staff here are so friendly and fun to be around. The ice cream is great, nothing too over the top. The s'mores sundae is delicious. Overall it's a great spot for a snack or a date spot.
Matt P — Google review
Fun vibe, friendly service, and tasty ice cream. It was a bit pricey, but sundaes are a better deal than the typical scoops. I really enjoyed the mint chocolate chip, and I liked a couple of chocolate flavors that I tried. Only downsides were the long line, limited seating, and hot temps inside.
Peter D — Google review
Sooo good!! I saw people getting sundaes and they looked amazing, such a wide variety of options on the menu. I had already eaten recently, so i just got a scoop of vanilla with the toasted marshmallows, and even thought it was a basic flavor, it was crazy rich and creamy. Left me wanting to try more!!
Anna — Google review
Honestly some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had. Super creamy, not too crazy sweet, and just flavored very nicely. I had the Earl Grey flavor and my wife had the Coffee flavor, and both were excellent on a hot summer day. Fairly priced for how high the quality is. The wait time was longer than preferred, but the area is super busy so I understand.

Visiting from Dallas. The service was great. Does were fresh and hot! It is a small location but they have a to go windows for your pies.
Jason O — Google review
What happened to the pies? I’ve been coming to the pie bar for about 10 years whenever I visited Seattle and at one point they used to have some of the best pies in the US. The coconut cream pie was the best and the fruit pies were fantastic. This time the pies were TERRIBLE!!! The coconut cream was waxy and overly sweet. It used to have toasted, shaved coconut bits and this time it was cheap processed strings. The chocolate cream pie tastes worse than day old cafeteria pie. The crumble on the fruit pies was underbaked and gloopy. I am so sad as I write this review but if you are like me want to go back because of fond memories, save yourself the money and calories and find a new pie place.
Christine C — Google review
We waited over 15 minutes for our order to be taken but the lady working at the to-go window wouldn't stop to take our order. She wasn't too busy to socialize with the girl group hogging the window though! She definitely noticed us waiting behind them but I guess talking with your friends is more important than working. We walked off and went to Voodoo donuts instead. Avoid this place unless you want your time wasted.
Kristy J — Google review
Novel idea for a bar! The owner is chill and has a neat story about how he came up with the idea from memories of making pies in his childhood with apples from a tree. The Desserted Island pie is a tasty treat packed with different fruit, and the local cider had a crisp taste. Fun place to try sometime for dessert or after the bars.

$11 for this small piece of slop with no crust on the bottom that's been sitting in fridge all day. Pie Bar used to be better than this.
Ben C — Google review
I guess I had low expectations and the place did not even match those. Look at the pie. 🥧 It was not worth the visit or money. I opted for the steak pot pie. Steak it was not, just ground beef. It was dry and the vegetables looked straight out from the frozen vegetables section. The dessert (coconut cream pie) unfortunately was one note, without much of a coconut taste. I will try another location and see if there's a difference.

A fantastic grocery store with an impressive offering of imported goods. We stopped in to get some cheese and meat so that we could have a little picnic snack on the waterfront before heading to the nearby aquarium. Tyler at the cheese counter was so helpful and let us try a few things before deciding on which cheese and meats to buy. We grabbed a packed of crackers and were even offered ice at checkout to keep our items cool on the hot day. The rest of the shop had lots of imported ingredients from chocolate, to salts, sauces, oils, and spices. As well as a cafe in the back or front of the shop, depending on how you enter. There was also a take and make at home fridge filled with pasta and pizzas that looked delicious. I would have loved to ship a whole bunch of goods home but I know I’ll be back again for my next Seattle adventure. Big shout out again to Tyler at the cheese counter, he just made our day!

We hit the deli counter and grabbed sliced Fra' Mani Soppressata, and portions of marinated Gigandes and Castelvetrano olives for a midday snack. Everything was fresh and delicious. They do offer charcuterie cones made-to-order, but we opted for our weighted choices. After snacking, we grabbed a cuppa at the cafe, which was perfect. This lovely space was busy for a reason! Visited late morning around 10:45 for a lazy Saturday breakfast for a "dilly dally" day. The line moves fast thanks to their darling staff. It's hard to explain but the space is so feminine casual and inviting. Good seating inside and out without packing the place. Sprinkled around the room and running through the center are a smattering of crafts and goods to purchase. They have some beautifully uniquely flavor bakery items, delicious hot and cold drinks, and a few breakfast and lunch items. It's a perfect small, specialty menu. A nice little coffee shop/cafe in the neighborhood north of downtown Seattle. The two drinks we ordered were both tasty, and we also enjoyed the chocolate chip cookie with cherries along with the yummy carrot cake. This place has limited seating inside and unfortunately all tables were being used by people no longer eating or drinking but working on their laptops. Unfortunately this is allowed and means no seating for new paying customers.

Found this gem while completing a neighborhood stroll. Such a quaint place. In the middle of a residential area, tree lined streets. Street parking. Limited tables. Coffee, pastry’s, etc. pet and kid friendly. Lines might be long and tables go fast.

I like this cafe mostly bc it’s the closet cafe to the park. The food is Ok; not amazing but at least it’s not too heavy and the beet hummus had a nice garlicky flavor. The portions are on the small side. Seating is limited so prepare to wait for 15-30 min. for a table. They haven’t implemented a time limit on tables which they should given how popular it is on weekends during the summer. Overall, this is a decent cafe if you’re looking to grab a small healthy bite before heading to the park.

The breakfast sandwich was absolutely delicious — it really lived up to its reputation. I especially loved the crispy bits of bacon mixed in; they added such a nice crunch. The egg was soft and moist, and of course, the bread was great too. For dessert, I ordered a banana muffin, a mini crumble pie, and a chocolate cake — all of them were amazing, but the chocolate cake stood out the most. It was rich and fudgy without being too heavy, and it paired perfectly with the cappuccino I ordered. The cappuccino was smooth and nutty, and my friend keeps saying we should go back again just for that chocolate cake!

The donuts here are incredibly fluffy, and the filling is subtly sweet—just right. At $5 each (plus tip), it’s a bit pricey for regular visits, but definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area. I’d highly recommend the chocolate marshmallow and the maple varieties!
Jonathan B — Google review
Love donuts but this wasn't it for me. The vanilla filling tasted like eggs. The chocolate was ok but not the best. Texture and flavor on the donut were also mediocre. Maybe they weren't very fresh although this was late morning.

It has nearly been a decade since my spouse and I have been here and we were nervous about coming back since we enjoyed it so much the first time we came here. Overall our experience was similar as the first time. The dough of the doughnuts was very soft with a nice chew, and the flavors of my lemon tiramisu and Nutella doughnuts were both great. My spouse didn’t enjoy her vanilla cream as much though as she shared that it didn’t taste all that much like vanilla and was too bland. I had a similar experience with my lemon tiramisu which just tasted like lemon, but was still quite good.

We had heard a lot about the donuts from here in public forums. So we arrived here one day. What we ordered - A variety of donuts - chocolate, lemon curd, vanilla and raspberry. Drip coffee and cappuccino. All the donuts were cold and dry. Only good thing I liked was the vanilla custard filling. The price is a deterrent too. The coffee was truly forgettable.
Abhash S — Google review
Nope. Not good. The fillings were great, and the donut texture was good, but they tasted like old oil. Like overpowering old oil. They are each $6 as well, which is way too much.

I actually rarely get donuts here but finally tried a cronut. It was really tasty. Doughy but not too sweet with a crispy outside. I usually come here for their fun fridge of random drinks. This kombucha was amazing.

I love that this place is trying to be sustainable ( glass cups and metal straws). Wifi was fast enough for the two zoom calls I had. There were at least 3 other people using the internet at the time. A good amout of wall outlets. 3 star rating cause the donut just didn't do it. It reminded me of safeway and dunkins. I like my brioche donuts more airy. It wasn't fluffy. The mocha was also just ok. The chocolate syrup was a bit overpowering. Bathroom was quite clean. Didn't see a changing table in the one I went in.

Hot Cakes Capitol Hill is a charming shop known for its homemade molten cakes, caramel sauces, creative cookies, and ice cream. Founded by Autumn Martin, who honed her skills as a pastry chef at Canlis and head chocolatier at Theo Chocolate, the shop offers delectable treats such as the popular Dark Decadence molten chocolate cake. In addition to the classic chocolate lava cake, Hot Cakes also serves up innovative flavors like peanut butter and strawberry cakes.
I really enjoyed this place! The staff were friendly and we got our food quickly. It was hard to pick just one option because almost everything sounded good. We went at about 10pm and there was plenty of seating available with indoors & outdoors options. The food was brought to our table on real dishes. I couldn't finish the whole cake so it was easy to grab a box and pack it up. You are asked to bus your own table which is fine. The food itself was fantastic! We got a strawberry matcha milkshake and the chocolate layer cake with ice cream. Good quality, good flavor, nice presentation. I would definitely go back and try other items on the menu. And just for context, I live outside the city and just come in for the occasional night out, so my impression of what's good in Seattle may differ from what a local thinks.

Ok here’s the thing, its for me easily the best dessert in Seattle, no doubt. But some of the staff at this location were kinda snappy (though Ive been to the Ballard location and they were insanely friendly) and the other huge thing that turns me away from giving 5 stars is the price! I get Seattle is expensive but wow! Around $16 for one small cake and scoop of ice cream? Either way, it’s insanely delicious and maybe the price is a good thing, keeps me from eating it every night.

Great desserts, a bit pricy but really hits the spot for a late night sweet treat. Very creative flavors including monthly/seasonal specials. Spicy mocha I give 3/5 (wasn’t that spicy/unique) but the Jaipur Chai molten cake w ice cream was a 5/5 and the main reason we came. Crème brûlée 4/5
Kramer — Google review
One of the must-visit dessert spots in Seattle! The dark chocolate molten cake was absolutely delicious, and the brownie molten cake with vanilla ice cream was out of this world. The ambiance added to the experience, making it a great place to visit
Ejaz A — Google review
To start they had what looked to be six employees working but only two of them were actually doing what they are being paid to do. This resulted in us getting the wrong order. We didn’t want to bother the two working employees so we just ate it and it was nasty, maybe we just aren’t used to gluten free stuff but we didn’t not like it and not only that it was under cooked. None of the six employees emptied the place for dirty plates so that was over flowing but yet we were only one of three customers in there so who knows how long those dirty plates were there. I would skip this expensive place and go to Chilis to get a lava cake and better service for half the price.

The s’more cake was made perfectly. The marshmallow on top was gooey, chewy, and creamy.Plus it was crunchy. The chocolate layer cake was immensely soft and the best one I have ever eaten!
Priyanka S — Google review
Cold weather and ice cream make for a perfect pairing. I stopped by Hot Cakes on a bustling Saturday night to pick up an order. Known for their indulgent chocolate cakes, I decided to try something different for takeout: the Blondie Sundae and the Sticky Toffee Pumpkin Pie. The Pumpkin Pie was a delightful choice—not overly sweet and perfectly complemented by a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream. The Blondie Sundae, on the other hand, had a cookie-like base that leaned on the sweeter side, but the salted caramel topping brought it all together beautifully. The ambience inside looked inviting, and I’m already planning to return for a dine-in experience soon. As for the pickup, it was impressively fast—ready in under 5 minutes. The service here is top-notch!
Ajay J — Google review
Hot Cakes is a cozy spot with undeniably good desserts and coffee. Their molten chocolate cakes are rich, gooey, and indulgent, and the coffee pairs perfectly with the sweetness of their treats. The quality is solid, and the presentation is great. That being said, I don’t quite understand the hype. While the desserts are nice, they don’t feel groundbreaking, and the place can get quite crowded, which sometimes makes the experience less enjoyable. It’s still a great place to visit if you’re in the mood for something sweet and comforting.

Saint Bread is a bakery and cafe located in a former boat-building facility behind the UW campus. The establishment boasts a team of talented bakers, including Michael Sanders of Plane Bread and pastry expert Randi Rachlow. The menu features globally inspired dishes such as teriyaki turnips over toasted farro, fried egg sandwich with American cheese on melonpan, broiled salmon on rice bowls, Japanese melonpan, yuzu polenta cake, and cardamom croissants.
What a wonderful spot to grab a breakfast sandwich and many other tasty items. Lovely outdoor seating and ordering is very convenient and fast. My favorite was the fried egg sandwich which I had to replace the bun and add sausage/bacon for. I ordered their animal style fries, which were pretty good but I would say it’s a serving size for at least 3 to 4 people. I’d give the breakfast sandwich, a five out of five and fries a four out of five.
Alex N — Google review
Mind blowing baked goods (danish was to die for), good sandwiches (we had a Fried Egg sandwich with extra sausage and mushrooms, and it was good but not great - lacked flavor and sauce, buns were awesome though). Coffee (latte on almond milk) was good (they use Proud Mary beans) - 8/10, matcha was good too 7/10. Lots of seating available. Line is a bit long but moves fast.
MAXIM P — Google review
We’ve been wanting to come for a while, so impressed with the quality, vibe, and service considering the place. It’s in an old, I assume, boat house. Two outdoor areas to eat, one with water view. Looks like behind they have an event space too. I had their signature brown sugar toast and a pastry. Both delicious. Highly recommend but get there early, it does sell out and the lines can be long. Pet and kid friendly .
Kristen M — Google review
So yummy! I had their avocado toast with a fried egg added, a cardamom bun and black coffee. The bread for the avocado toast was very thick and a very nice grainy, nutty flavor to it. The lemon and za’atar seasoning on the avocado added the perfect flavor to it. The cardamom bun was so yummy, this is great if you want something a little sweet but not too sweet. The coffee was perfect- I typically only add cream and sugar to coffee if the flavor is mediocre, but this coffee was already so good that I didn’t need to add anything to it. I definitely want to come back and try more things on their menu.
Allyson B — Google review
A nice spot to relax after walking from UW. I ordered the cheeseburger with a fried egg. The meat was juicy and every bite was satisfying. The staff were friendly and the service was great. Semi-outdoor seating adds to the chill vibe.
Judy H — Google review
This place practically has a cult following. The only time there isn’t a line out the door is when they are closed! The menu is globally inspired- definitely with an Asian lean. I had the breakfast sandwich on melon pan with bacon. The extras kind of add up, but… it was delicious. I’m glad to see they have expanded their gluten free offerings. When I went there years ago, there wasn’t much my gf mother could have.

So good!!! Amazing bakery and great location with outdoor seating. Expect long lines on the weekends but so worth it, their coffee is Proud Mary, an amazing roaster from Portland. Recommend the avocado toast and melonpans

Came in on a Saturday and although there were a few groups ahead of me, it only took a few minutes to get my order in. Even though it was busy, Kimberly was really helpful/friendly when I asked for recommendations. I ordered several things and all were 10/10. My favorite was the Danish Dream Cake. Took it back to my office and ate it embarrassingly fast 😮‍💨

Bakery
Sea Wolf Bakers is a craft bakery located in Seattle, aiming to establish itself as the bagel capital of the West Coast. Founded by brothers Jesse and Kit Schumann in 2014, Sea Wolf initially baked loaves in cast-iron pans during off-hours at Boat Street Cafes before opening their own brick-and-mortar space.
Got the chocolate croissant and oat chocolate chip cookie. The croissant part of the chocolate croissant was amazing. Super buttery and flaky. I didn’t love the chocolate they used though. I am a fan of dark chocolate but this chocolate had more fruity notes and was a little darker than I like in a pastry, i prefer something a bit more rich, but this is definitely the perfect croissant for somebody. The cookie is pretty good, not the best ever but definitely good. The space is nice! We went on a Sunday in the summer and the line was long but moved very quick. There was lots of outdoor seating in the courtyard and they had a large accessible bathroom!
Olivia C — Google review
Sea Wolf is a fantastic spot to grab a quick bite and a good brewed cup of coffee. The vibe here is relaxed yet inviting, with a cozy atmosphere that makes it perfect for both solo visits and small groups. While there’s a decent amount of seating, it can get a bit crowded during peak hours, so plan accordingly if you're looking for a quieter experience or table. I was really impressed with the coffee—it’s rich and flavorful, and the cookie I had was definitely the standout treat. The cinnamon roll, on the other hand, was good but not great. It would have been a game-changer if it had been served warm, especially since it was a bit chilled. A little warmth would have made all the difference with the icing. That being said, Sea Wolf is definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. Whether you're looking to fuel up for a productive work session or simply want to enjoy a book in the sun, their outdoor patio is a great option. Overall, a solid choice for a casual coffee break or a snack while on the go!

Went into Seawolf Bakers, and their matcha completely surprised me — so rich and smooth, definitely a highlight. The cinnamon roll had a ton of raisins, maybe a bit much for my taste, but still tasty enough to finish. The place has a cozy, inviting vibe, and yeah, there’s usually a line, which says something. Known for their a fresh loaf to take home. Totally worth a stop if you’re in the area
Siddhant K — Google review
Sea Wolf is one of the best, if not the best bakery I’ve been to in the United States! This is not to be missed if visiting Seattle! There is a spiraling line out the door every day, which will take you about 10-15 mins to wait through. They use non-GMO local flour to make all their breads and pastries and it is so incredibly fresh and divinely flavorful. They really know the key to flavor pallets—there is a hint of sea salt that dusts their breads to enhance the profile. Their sweet croissant was my favorite, which had rich tahini, sweetness from strawberries, earthy sesame seeds and honey drizzle. It was the perfect harmony of sweet and savory on a toasted croissant. Their seasonal focaccia was perfect chewy and had crumbled goat cheese with chilis, small sweet notes and pesto lightly spread throughout. It was a perfect texture of chewy and crispy. My favorite combo was the date cake, which is a whole wheat loaf slice with nuts, seeds and dates. I dipped it in their spicy masala chai—which is also some of the best I’ve had! They use whole ground spices and it is so potent in flavor and aromatic. They also have chili and sea salt dusted in the foam to add a savory kick that brings out the masala flavors. It is a must try, especially dipping the date cake into it! Also recommend the savory lye rolls, which are their series of topped pretzel buns and breads. Their croissants are also some of the flakiest I’ve ever had, almost like filo dough. You really can’t go wrong, order a few items! Their staff is so friendly and will answer any questions you have. There is also ample outdoor seating and half a dozen tables inside. I really loved coming here because it is a small business people can feel good about supporting. They source from local farms, use quality ingredients and pay their staff a livable wage. With the open kitchen concept you can also see each baker/staff member cracking eggs, hand cutting fresh strawberries, kneading dough, and prepping trays. They keep this to as authentic and minimally processed as possible and it really reflects in flavor and how you feel after eating. I truly love this bakery and wish there were more that adopted their practices!
Allison L — Google review
Excellent spot. They have a select few options but each one (that we had) was done really well. We had the seasonal focaccia, the sweet croissant, and the savory croissant. We loved them all - (even though this is a personal thing) I did feel like the snap peas on the savory croissant gave it a weird smell. We also grabbed their olive oil sandwich bread which is good! Nice for making avocado toast. Finally, their drinks: the seasonal matcha strawberry was BOMB. The ice coffee was average. Would highly recommend this place. PS They are a ‘no tip’ joint ad their prices reflect that.

The class was super fun and interactive, we got to see every step of the process and the teacher was very knowledgeable and sweet. We got to take home dough, starter and fresh bread (yum!) and instructions on how to continue our journey to becoming a great home sout dough baker! The next day I baked my bread and they came out amazing!

Best croissant I've ever had. the millefeuille texture is excellent. We tried almost everything and got a rye sourdough home. Must visit, cozy nice seating area outside friendly for kids and pets

Strawberry tahini and savory asparagus and chocolate croissant were definitely the best items out of the 8 we got. Will say only slightly annoying thing was ordered a cinnamon roll and it was cold. Asked if we could get it heat up and was told no but we could buy a new one and they could take it out fresh… which was disappointing .

Bake Shop is a charming bakery and wine bar located in the Queen Anne/Uptown neighborhood. The bright and airy space is adorned with plenty of plants, creating a relaxed atmosphere. In addition to an array of breads, pastries, and toasts, they also offer sandwiches, salads, soups, and a selection of wines for pairing. Owned by Krista Nelson, who brings her experience from Dynamo Donuts in San Francisco and Hot Cakes in Seattle to the table.
Visiting from CT, passing through on our way to a cruise. This was a 3 minute walk from our hotel. The nectarine blueberry galette was absolutely excellent. Not too sweet, flaky, fruity fresh. Their seasonal black sesame caramel latte with a salty whip was exactly what I wanted it to be. If I lived here, I'd either work here or be here all the time. I love the after hours idea. We came by with the nephews but they wanted something else, so I had to come back. Such a cool vibe and I'm only sorry I'm not here longer!

Hidden gem. Must go and try their pastries. Selection can be a tad limited but everything tried was 5/5. The roll was doughy and a splurge of cinnamon taste. The pie had a great crunchy base with a chocolate layer that went great with the passion fruit topping. Will definitely have again if I see it.
Dampier — Google review
Lovely little cafe tucked away in a relatively quiet street. I ordered the black sesame salted caramel latte (with salted whipped cream), cardomom knot, and breakfast sandwich. All were so good! Especially the latte. Would come back just for that. Lots of seating both outdoors and indoors, with a water bowl outside for the pups. I came on a Thursday morning and there was plenty of seating, but can’t speak to how busy it might be on a weekend.
Lin Y — Google review
Bake Shop is in a lovely neighborhood, and we visited on a sunny Saturday morning when the café was filled with natural light. There’s also outdoor seating, but the place was busy with a long line, so ordering took a while. The café feels authentic, with most of the food made fresh. I ordered a mocha and a veggie sandwich—the sandwich took about 30 minutes but was absolutely worth the wait. The coffee was okay, nothing special, so I’d come here more for the food than the drinks. The coffee cost felt reasonable, but the food was on the expensive side—our coffee and veggie sandwich came to around $30 with tip, which I think is a bit much. Paid street parking is available nearby.
Sourabh A — Google review
I’ve never reviewed anywhere on Google before, but I have been a such a long time fan of Bake shop and I’ve been so disappointed recently that I felt like saying something. First off, their bakery items are spectacular and the coffee is so fantastic, so I definitely recommend those. However the food is SO bad recently. It seems like they went from making each sandwich/toast fresh per order to just making everything ahead of time and pulling it out of the fridge. The quality of the meals has gone down so much. The most recent time I went I got the veggie toast; there were almost no veggies (it used to be piled so high you couldn’t see the bread and was FABULOUS), it was COLD, and there was a fully uncooked clove of garlic sitting on it (see pictures)! The last several times I’ve ordered any of the sandwiches/toasts, they’ve been completely cold and honestly, just taste worse, to the point where I haven’t finished them. It also seems like they don’t come with the side salads or chips anymore but cost the same, which is so small but again just makes everything seem more disappointing. I had hoped it was a one-off issue, but this most recent time was the third experience like this. Overall the meal quality is so low now and it’s disappointing, since I have loved this place for years. But the baked goods, coffee, and FOH servers are all still so wonderful and lovely, so I can still recommend those! Just don’t go here for a meal. I hope they can make a comeback!
Emma J — Google review
I am frustratingly trying to find somewhere in Seattle that has good breakfast food for a good price without a line out the door. I have yet to find it and Bake Shop is like all the other cafes in Seattle. $15.50 for a small breakfast sandwich and a 40 minute wait for a to-go order with a line nearly out the door. I’ll admit it was a good sandwich but in my opinion not worth the time invested.
Matthew L — Google review
Best black sesame coffee, sourdough chocolate babka and veggie breakfast sandwich with mushroom were really good! We got the miso chocolate chip cookie to-go and that was delicious as well!!! Absolutely recommend this place!!!

this cafe has a cozy vibe and a unique menu with an Asian twist. I tried the sesame matcha and miso cookie, both were delicious. The establishment also serves excellent brews from Stamp Act Coffee. Visitors have praised the high-quality pastries, warm staff, and cozy atmosphere. Some recommended arriving early to avoid missing out on popular items that tend to sell out quickly.
Wow, wow, wow! Their ham, egg, and cheese is of my favorite breakfast sandwiches ever! The ham is full of rich, smoky flavor and pairs so well with the melty cheese and spicy mayo. You can’t go wrong with any item from their wrong with bakery either. Their chocolate chip cookie is also one of my favorites. Everyone working here is so kind and welcoming. You can tell they all care about the food as well providing a great atmosphere. One of my favorite spots in Seattle, check them out!!

The food here is insanely good, I wouldn't have expected it honestly. I got a chicken caesar wrap thinking how good can a caesar wrap really be..... But I learned they can in fact be amazing !? Their fries were also so tasty and they gave me so many. Unfortunately I feel like their baked items are really not that good. I got their donut and the cream had a weird texture. I actually didn't finish it, took the rest home, and never bothered eating the leftovers because it just seemed unappetizing. Would come again for food and vibes, but pass on baked goods next time.
Alvina W — Google review
I got to visit here today with a group of friends and it was a lot of fun. Went ahead and got the biscuits and gravy plate along with a warm London fog. You get a lot of food for the price, but just a heads up if you add the fried chicken to the gravy plate it’s gonna go from $13 to $18, so keep an eye on that register when they punch it in for you. There are also were no prices (that I could spot) listed for any of the baked goods in the counter. The lack of clarity here is why I’m gonna go ahead and do a 4/5 stars because that’s… important lol. They have paper menus up for grabs at the entry so you can browse while you wait in line, which was lovely. I have a rollator (walker with wheels, brakes, and a seat) and the staff was very sweet and helped me carry my food and drink to the outside table where my friends and I were eating. They did allow us to rearrange four of the six tables and many chairs to accommodate our group which was very kind as well! In terms of accessibility, there were two disabled parking spots nearby, both of which had an unloading zone on the righthand side. All the parking spaces are compact size. The interior of the shop is NOT wheelchair accessible in my opinion- it’s just too narrow, especially the standing area in the direct entry. Definitely not for a motorized wheelchair. Crutches and canes would be perfectly fine.

I came here with friends for a brunch. They don’t have a huge menu for brunch but their breakfast sandwiches are great. They make them on brioche buns and they’re so flavorful. The drinks are super creative and fun. I had strawberry cheesecake cold foam cold brew.

Saw this spot on the socials and just knew we had to try the ruffle rice crispy but unfortunately it did disappoint. Not enough salt, not crunchy and just lacked the vibe. We also tried the vanilla crème donut which too unfortunately had little flavor. But the chocolate crinkle cookie was okay! My husband ordered the cereal milk latte with the fruity pebbles milk, he liked it but as expected as sweet. The chai tea latte unfortunately lacked flavor as well and was more a hot cup of water than ran by a chai tea bag :( if this is local to you, stop by and see but I won’t be driving out of the way for it again. Happy munching!

Under the gaze of Dolly & Tony, Little Jaye serves up some of the most delicious sandwiches and pastries in the city. Whether it's the savory breakfast sandwiches, the overstuffed donuts, the sprinkle cookies, or the myriad other delicacies under the glass, I am constantly blown away when I visit. Show up patient and hungry - I'm definitely not alone loving them as proven by the line. But don't worry! They move fast, and the wait is always worth it!

Service was great, fast, and staff was cool. The outdoor seating was cute and the indoor tables had a cool cozy industrial vibe. Unfortunately I just wasn’t a fan of the food. I went home to finish cooking the egg, I’m sure they would’ve made it none runny if I asked but it was busy so I didn’t want to add inconvenience. I was overall not really into the Smashwich. I was excited because what could go wrong with a brioche bun butter crisped, with exciting mayo, egg, sausage, and hash brown? But to my disappointment it was too bready and bland. The doughnut was okay, probably for people who don’t want something super sweet and the vanilla crème was underwhelming in my opinion. The doughnut itself was a sugar covered dough which I thought was decent. The cortado was espresso with equal parts steamed milk, simply good. I most likely won’t return but I think I personally just wasn’t the targeted guest. Also good to note, no lunch items are served here on the weekends.

A great place to sit outside and and enjoy one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever tasted ( the smashwich). Its a small selection of tems, but each thing is made to perfection. The spiced Chai is nice and strong with good flavor. The area is not a lot to look, so not a scenic stop, but that only serves to make this place feel like a hidden gem for the locals.

Ben's Bread Co. is a hidden gem that impresses first-timers with its extraordinary bread quality and delightful pastries. The long line moves quickly, making it worth the wait for their delicious English muffins, savory brioche, focaccia, sourdough, and donuts. The staff is lively and nice, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. Their dedication to crafting high-quality bread and pastries leaves visitors in awe. Additionally, their Americano coffee surprises with its great taste.
I'm in love. Funny how love sometimes comes when you least expect it...I didn't know Ben's was here, decided to try it and well, now we have a relationship... The English Muffins...I am a fanatic for them and apparently they are one of their signature items. They're like the best version of an adult, savory donut: chewy, with a subtle flavor imbued by well seasoned pans and infinitely adaptable... You could combine these dense muffins with any topping. They're so good, I eat them plain. I tried the Tuna Sandwich yesterday and it was fabulous. While consisting of quality ingredients and an elevated preparation, also evokes the best tuna sandwiches you had in your lunch or at a diner. Excellent coffee and a truly kind staff...I left my debit card and they held it for me. Highly recommend.

Food: definitely on the dessert side. They do sell savory breakfast sandwiches but never been in on time to order since they close the kitchen down around 2pm. Got the olive oil cake (whipped cream and lemon curd) and the citrus danish with cream cheese. It was bright but likely too sweet for the morning/after for me. Atmosphere: open kitchen, small, cramped, limited seating but plenty of outside space. I’m sure beautiful when sunny and warm. Service: quick, direct, neutral. Would come again knowing it’s for a sweet tooth craving and seeing what’s rotating in the display case.

Highly, highly recommend! These aren’t the typical pastries you find everywhere, but they’re also not the kind of over-the-top fusion pastries that just don’t taste good. Loved the rhubarb bread! It was at the perfect spot for sweetness and fruity tardiness. The only one we didn’t love was the kimchi cheese pastry. The combination of cilantro and cheese clashed with the kimchi, creating a strong flavor conflict. Instead of bringing out freshness or acidity, the kimchi got overpowered by the cream, which ended up coating the entire palate. We were surprised by the line on a weekend morning, but it was worth the wait. The store is small, but there’s some outdoor seating that’s perfect for warm weather.

Stumbled across Ben's Bread Co. while running some errands. The bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich was fantastic (the sourdough English muffin is perfect), and I loaded up a box of pastries too which were also great. Looking forward to coming back to sample more items (like the blue corn cookie) and the coffee!

They make pizza one day a week, and it’s definitely worth going for. The ingredients used on the pizza are top quality and delicious. The dough is flavorful and perfectly baked. It holds the generous, incredibly tasty toppings beautifully—so much so that you can eat it with one hand without the slice folding. The place is located in a covered passage. Those who arrive early get to sit down and enjoy their pizza. Right next to it, there’s an excellent wine shop that sells and serves natural wines. Both the prices and the wines themselves are great. If you’d like to enjoy your pizza with wine, you need to sit at the wine shop’s tables when ordering the pizza—only then can they serve you wine. We had a wonderful evening in this passage where high-quality places come together. Highly recommended to everyone.

When I got here, I was a little bit surprised that there was no line, as I kind of expected one. It was on a weekend, but slightly after the normal lunch hour. Since I've heard a lot of things, I decided to try a bunch of things. I got the fancy breakfast sandwich, english muffin with sourdough, cinnamon twist, and a salted caramel cookie Starting with the breakfast sandwich, it was good, but I was expecting better. The brioche buns were quite nice on the outsides - they were toasted very well and super soft. Also, the souffled egg tasted great. However, the rest of the stuff was just kind of average. The cheese was essentially nonexistent - if I didn't know the description of the item beforehand I would've assumed that it was just a sausage & egg sandwich with no cheese involved. Also, the sausage just tasted like your average breakfast sandwich sausage you can find at like McDonald's The english muffin was a bit better, but not that much so. Obviously, salted butter makes everything taste better, so that was nice. The outside was pretty crispy as well, but I did find the muffin to be quite chewy - to the point where it was annoying to eat. The jam also wasn't amazing either - I ended up not using the majority of it. The inside was really fluffy and nice though. Moving onto the desserts, my favorite of these was the salted caramel cookie, as it was well salted, had a good crunch to it, and was well-baked. The inside was not really gooey at all, but the chocolate was still nicely melted. On the contrary, the cinnamon twist was actively bad. It felt stale, cold, and eating it gave me basically no enjoyment at all The total for these 4 items came out to around 30 dollars, which is kind of a lot. I think each of these items are either slightly or a good amount overpriced, with the donut probably being the worst of these, with the english muffin being the most reasonable Overall, I see hints of the high quality I've heard about, but it's not enough to make me come back here. 7/10

we talk about the chorizo hash and fancy breakfast sandwich all.the.time!! it was one of the most memorable meals we've had in seattle, and we always tell all of our friends and family about it when they're in town or looking for a place to grab brunch! everything was flavorful and cooked to perfection. we snagged a table outside and enjoyed our food and drinks. we've been back multiple times since and are always impressed with their pastry selection! our favs are the savory brioche pastries they rotate out seasonally, and we always have to grab a bag of english muffins! they freeze perfectly if we can't eat them right away, and they always taste super fresh when we do get around to them! we will always show them off and hype them up because their food, their space, and their company mission are all the things we need more of in this world <3

Super neat concept and experience overall. We did our first monthly pick up and are pleased with the options and variety so far. The actual space inside is well decorated and filled with delicious looking baked goods (although space for seating seemed a bit small.) Looking forward to future monthly pick ups!

When you find yourself wandering around the picturesque Green Lake area, make sure to swing by Bell's Cookie Co. for a delightful treat! This charming bakery is known for its warm, chewy cookies that are simply irresistible. One standout is their Colombian Corn Cookie, which offers a unique twist reminiscent of cornbread—a must-try for adventurous eaters.
Bell’s Cookies is delicious. The chocolate chip is perfect—crispy on the outside, gooey in the middle. The snickerdoodle and corn are also very good, and everything is super fresh. The shop’s cute and the people are nice. Kinda pricey, but worth it. 10/10 would go again.

If you have a sweet tooth, I recommend you stop by Bell's Cookies Co. They gave perfected their recipe and offer you a solid selection of cookies that aren't too sweet and just as tasty. My personal favorite was the Lemon 🍋 Blueberry 🫐, it was soft and perfectly baked. Come find your personal favorite.

Colombian Cookies with no preservatives made and served fresh! The staff is an absolute delight to talk to and they are very friendly and kind. I hade two types of cookies: chocolate chip and peanut butter, those are two you cannot pass up.

I’ll definitely recommend this sweet shop if you’re in the Green Lake area. We tried the s’mores cookie and it was amazing! Gooey, rich, and perfectly baked! They even gifted us a peanut butter cookie, and wow… it had creamy peanut butter inside that any peanut butter lover would be obsessed with. 😍 We also enjoyed Nutty Squirrel gelato and paired it with the snickerdoodle granola. A match made in heaven. 😋 They were sold out of the salted caramel flavor but I can imagine these two would also be a perfect match. Great treats all around and can’t wait to come back!

Wow! A friend of mine sent me a box of these wonderful cookies for my birthday! They are melt in your mouth good. If I could give this company 10 stars I would. What a fun gift to give someone I will share (maybe) and savor each bite!

If you’re looking for amazing cookies and even better customer service, Brendan is your guy! From the moment I walked in, he made the whole experience warm and welcoming. He was super knowledgeable about all the flavors and even gave great recommendations (the red velvet was life-changing). You can tell he genuinely cares about making sure customers leave happy. The store was clean, organized, and had that perfect fresh-baked cookie smell that makes you want to try everything. Thanks, Brendan, for making my visit so memorable, can’t wait to come back for more!

Cardoon is a unique cafe in Seattle that offers a blend of Chinese and German influences in its menu. The cafe is known for its exceptional lattes made with oat milk, which have a velvety texture and smooth foam. The addition of salty licorice caramel gives the drinks a subtle anise flavor. Visitors praise the rose cookie for its melt-in-your-mouth quality, while the lava cookie stands out for its balanced salty and spicy flavors.
Needed coffee, so stopped to check this place. Seen honey cake on display that is made in house. It t is phenomenal, delicate, not overly sweet, moist…. I would come just for that! Coffee was excellent as all employees who worked there. Place got modern vibe. Street parking is available.
Stoliy S — Google review
We were visiting from out of town and stumbled on Cardoon, and I'm really happy we did. The food, drinks, and staff were fantastic and I'll definitely be coming back when I'm back in town. The German and Chinese spin on food dishes was really interesting. The tomato and egg rice was really unexpected but really delicious as the flavours instantly reminded me of Berlin and currywurst. The sausage and veg toast was also really yummy. The coffee was great too! I really enjoyed the seaweed latte. It's definitely a must try.
Paul Z — Google review
We tried Latte's, and the honey cake. This might be an unpopular opinion, but the flavors, both the soy caramel and the lava carmel, were pretty unappetizing. The flavors also came with an extra $1.40 charge, which felt a bit steep. I asked if they had regular caramel, but unfortunately they didn't. Out of curiosity, I also asked what the lava caramel was made of, but the barista didn't seem to know. The honey cake was actually quite good-light and flavorful-but again, on the pricey side. Overall, the place feels a bit overhyped. I might return to try a plain latte, but wouldn't go out of my way for anything else.

Is one of the busiest cafe in Ballard. Their coffee is nice. Enjoy my coffee very much outside the cafe with cooling weather.
Stanley C — Google review
The rose latte had too much syrup and was overall ok. The honey cake is stunning (I’m Ukrainian and have high standards for honey cakes!)
Dina B — Google review
I hadn’t visited Cardoon since July. Back then, there seemed to be new baristas, and I didn’t enjoy the latte as much as the ones I’d had earlier in the year. I went back today to try a new flavor, and it looks like the barista who consistently makes great coffee is back. And yes—I loved today’s coffee, and it’s the prettiest one I’ve ever had.

What a lovely crew at this immaculate little shop! We were strangers in an unfamiliar neighborhood and stepped in to get out of the rain. Enticed by the aroma of coffee and chai tea, we learned quickly that they have a full menu. Run by a husband and wife team, they celebrate their combined Chinese and German heritage with the food and drink offerings. They even serve beer and wine and drink specials. Obviously they are great people because we went back for more on the next day and the staff treated us like old friends and regulars! Highly recommended.

Cute coffee shop with light bites! They have some tables and seating inside as well as wifi, so was able to get a little work done here on my laptop :) Food-wise, I enjoyed the egg sandwich but felt like the tomato + rice dish was a little underwhelming. I also had the Shanghai Fog which was nice, very mild flavor but lightly sweet and comforting. Overall I think this spot is a little on the pricy side for me, but the vibe is good and the staff is lovely.

Not quite what I was expecting.. it's essentially a small open kitchen bakery in the basement of a restaurant on Market St. The cashier was friendly and seemed aware the location was strange. I ordered the White Chocolate Guava Cheesecake and the Ube Cookie. The cheesecake was rich (5/5). The cookie was good too (4/5). I would go here again.

OVERALL: Would love to go back to try more of their items! Family friendly: Yes and no… No restriction on age but they have a sign that limits 5 customers at a time in their store Pet friendly: No Parking: Street Parking FOOD/MENU: Mango Sticky Rice Rice Crispy Treat (Coconut infused marshmallow, dried mango, toasted coconut) $5: 4 Stars – At first bite, you really did not taste anything… like it tasted like a normal rice crispy treat… but slowly, the coconut and mango flavor come in and its like WOW. Black sesame rice crispy treat (brown butter, roasted black sesame seeds, black sesame paste, flaky sea salt) $5: 3 Stars – I really wanted to love this since all things black sesame is amazing!!! The flavor was light, very light… If it was more robust flavor, I think it would have been a lot better. Vegan Ube cookies & cream rice crispy treat (ube marshmallows, vegan butter, gluten free oreo pieces) $5: 3 Stars – I’m on the fence about this. This was opposite for me with the Ube and Mango… I could taste it right away but the more I ate, the less I liked it… nothing bad about it but maybe a little artificial tasting? Classic Chocolate Chip Cookie (milk and dark chocolate and Okinawan sea salt) $5: 4 Stars – This was soooo yummy and gooey. I loved that they used large chucks verse “chips.” I do wish this was a little bigger for being priced at $5. I’ve seen other bakeries that have smaller cookies but priced 2-3x more and are horrible… so I guess I shouldn’t complain? LOL Yuzu-berry tiramisu (ladyfinger sponge, yuzu soak, marionberry jam, vanilla mascarpone cream) $12: 3 Stars – Very yuzy, very berry tasting LOL I do prefer the classic tiramisu over this one though… I think this is the time that classic will trump modern/contemporary 😊 RESTAURANT/SERVICE: Small little cute bake shop. Due to the limit of 5 customers inside, we did not stay long as a small line started to form by the time we were done ordering. Even with the limited amount of time spent, the workers were extremely friendly and helpful.

Cocktail bar
RockCreek Seafood & Spirits is a bi-level restaurant located in Seattle's Fremont district, offering a diverse menu centered around sustainable seafood from various parts of the world. The airy and inviting space features cabinlike quarters and a covered patio, creating a charming ambiance for diners. Chef Eric Donnelly showcases his fishing expertise by preparing unique seafood dishes alongside classic favorites, such as whole grilled snapper, tuna tiradito, and hearty shellfish stew.
This place should be full from the start of happy hour to close every day. Stop scrolling and go here. Let’s start with the food: the smoked trout salad is a sleeper hit—bright, flavorful, smoky, and beautifully balanced. The calamari is crisp and tender (no rubbery bites here), and the clams are briny perfection. If baked oysters are your thing, theirs are must-orders—savory, satisfying, and exactly what you want alongside a strong cocktail. The cocktails themselves are thoughtfully crafted and seriously drinkable—an excellent excuse to settle in and stay awhile. RockCreek delivers on everything you want from a seafood happy hour and a high-end seafood dinner experience. Come for the food, stay for the drinks, and leave very, very happy. Go drink and be merry!

Amazing food and service. Note some of the dishes had dairy modifications for our dietary preferences. Portions are a bit smaller so plan accordingly. Great spot!
Kevin H — Google review
We came here for a business meeting. The location was very accommodating to our needs and gave us an amazing seat our on the private patio. All of the food had amazing flavor and was seasoned very well. Drinks were all on point and we had at least one server and two bussers helping us with our plates. Overall I would take my partner here for a nice date night. The food was on point and the atmosphere was very laid back.
Sarah L — Google review
I like the kind of restaurant where the food is good and the atmosphere is casual. This is that kind of restaurant. We ordered the bread, clams, cauliflower, Bloody Mary oyster shooter, Vesuvio pasta, and Whole Grecian Branzino. Honestly everything was DELICIOUS. Surprisingly, the pasta was the Star (a unique mix of flavors that worked so well). Nothing was overly heavy, everything was healthful. Cocktails and wine also excellent. For dessert we ordered the key lime pie and apple beignets….yum!! P.s. thank you *Caressa* for the excellent service!!
Steven S — Google review
Delicious seafood, but expensive! The smoked trout salad is excellent. We were a little disappointed with the Fijian tombo tartare—it's not bad, just lacking a little something to take it over the top (maybe just some more salt?). For mains, the branzino is essential. The seafood stew is also really good. And the apple beignets are certainly decadent! Great to split with a few folks. Just be ready for a steep bill!
Kyle C — Google review
Astoundingly mediocre. I'm not sure how this place has such high reviews when there are countless other fresh seafood places out there. The oysters were just ok, no one bothered telling us what kind they were. The tuna tartare was bland. Most of their dishes were underwhelming and lacked presentation. The final nail in the coffin for me was the mandatory 23% "service charge" when the service wasn't all that great. I have experienced more enthusiasm from servers at Waffle House. I support restaurant workers making a liveable wage but they really need to figure out how to incentivize doing your job well at the same time. Just a tip for anyone visiting Seattle and wanting to experience some quality seafood & service-- I would skip this place and go to Elliotts, Taylors, or Dukes.
Gina N — Google review
Cute spot for a date with flavorful seafood-forward dishes. Lost a star primarily because it’s too expensive. It’s very nice and fun, but it’s too casual a vibe for the prices, and the portions aren’t large enough nor the food unique enough to justify how expensive it is. We mostly ordered off the happy hour menu, and it still added up too high. $18 cocktails on the main menu are rich, for example. And $3 oysters are the discounted happy hour rate, when they’re usually $5! Each! Also, there’s a 23% automatic gratuity that started in June 2025, which is pretax, so it’s effectively 25% after the 10% sales tax rate. On top of Seattle’s tipped workers making full $20+ minimum wage. However, the experience was really fun. The oysters were absolutely to die for. Top 5 for me easily. Buttery and briney and perfect sized all at the same time. From the Puget Sound. Usually I’d be upset no cocktail sauce or horseradish were provided, but the mignonette and lemon were actually perfect here. The clams in broth were well cooked, but they needed one more piece of bread at least. The fried calamari was definitely the most interesting. Instead of feeling deep fried, it was a thin layer of tiny seedy batter. It actually let the high quality squid shine. So good. The hamachi crudo was as you’d expect anywhere else it’s served. Solid. The seafood paella was good, and they took the chorizo out for us. I wish there was more rice (it’s cheap! Give us a little more substance!), and I wish they’d crisped the rice at the bottom as it’s traditionally done. The spicy margs and white lotus cocktails were both fun, good size, strong without being too liquor-dominated in flavor. Just a bit pricy ($12 happy hour and $18, respectively). Overall, I’d consider returning, but the prices are just a bit too high. I wish it were a little fancier if so. Or larger portions. Or maybe an 18% automatic gratuity if you’re gonna do it at all.
Samuel R — Google review
The food was delicious. I ordered fresh oysters and the lamb ragout. The espresso martini they make here the super tasty. The foam on top is such a smooth texture. 👌🏽 The wagyu short ribs are very tender and cooked perfectly. The waiter took too long to come take my order before happy hour ended, so I flagged down (nicely) a super sweet waitress, and she took over no problem and got everything we needed before the happy hour ended. But overall, the service was attentive and friendly. Atmosphere, I like the set up, it's an open floor plan with a good seating arrangement. And the mood lighting works well for a date night, birthday gathering, or just a company dinner. Update: I unknowingly ordered the same items again for my second time visiting Rock Creek. I did order an additional oysters shooter, the Bloody Vodka. It was good. I wish I ordered the oysters starter and shooter together. But I know for next time. The swordfish dish was recommended by my friend, though! & enjoyed the spicy margarita shooter as well. I also order the Burrata & tomato, it's definitely different than others I've tried before. It's good but something that I won't be ordering again. The green olives and the orange sauce didn't go very well for me personally. But I like being adventurous and trying new dishes here so no regrets.

Three Girls Bakery is a historic bakery located in the Pike Place Market, Seattle. Established in 1912, it was the first bakery licensed to women in the city and has been a local favorite for over a century. The bakery offers an array of pastries, breads, soups, and sandwiches. It features a large window display showcasing their delicious baked goods.
We had passed this place a couple times in our Pike Place Market adventures, so I decided to stop by here for some small snacks. I ordered the almond delight and the spinach and feta crossaint. The prices were incredibly reasonable for baked goods, which I was pleasantly surprised by. There was one person ahead of us in line, but that went by pretty quickly. I then went up to the window and told the person what I wanted, and they got it for me, and then I paid. The almond delight was really good. The spinach and feta crossaint was good, too. I think it could have used a little more feta flavor, but overall, for how much it was, I cannot complain too much. I would definitely come back here if I were in the area and try more of what they have!

We stopped in Three Girls Bakery for a quick lunch bite across from the Pike Fish Market. Service was good, especially from the girl/lady behind the seated counter area who prepared the meatloaf sandwich. Fortunately, we asked her to split it and she plated half on 2 plates for us. See the attached picture to see how huge a half sandwich is! The meatloaf itself was a bit dry and more like a medium well hamburger patty than a moist meatloaf with seasoning inside. HOWEVER, that seasonings put on top/ below the meat slice were absolutely delicious! I highly recommend you try it, or one of the other sandwiches!!!! Atmosphere is what you expect for a walk up with a few seats at a counter, in a busy market area. YUM

Classic Bakes for a Quick Bite! Plenty of delicious options baked fresh daily. It’s to-go only, perfect for strolling through Pike Place Market or enjoying during a break while people-watching. Located just off the first right turn from the main entrance on First Avenue. Reasonably priced for the area: -Classic Palmier Cinnamon $3: A bit sweet for me, but I appreciated the flaky, buttery layers. -Raspberry Nest Coconut Cookie $4: Loved that the coconut wasn’t overly sweet, but couldn’t really taste any raspberry jam. A solid stop for classic baked goods made fresh.

We got the honey cinnamon croissant, a snicker doodle, a oatmeal chocolate chip, a pumpkin scone and a pumpkin cinnamon roll. The honey cinnamon croissant is what caught our attention, unfortunately it tasted like it was a baked apple, not bad just not what qe wanted or expected. Our favorite item was the pumpkin scone. Both cookies were tatsty just slightly small. The cinnamon roll was good but did not come with any frosting.

Good stuff here. Between my spouse and I we had a ham and Swiss croissant, and bacon and egg croissant, a chocolate croissant, and a blueberry and lemon muffin. All of them were good and the prices were reasonable for what we got. The cashier was friendly and moved the short line along quickly. Finding the shop was a bit of a process but that was more of an us problem haha. Worth a visit, and revisit honestly.

Their window displays with shelves of diverse pastries and breads is a glorious sight among the many wonders in Pike Place. I ordered the honey walnut rugelach and a chocolate croissant. Both had flaky, buttery layers, but that croissant was something seriously special. It was loaded with quality chocolate. I would love to visit again and try more things!

At first, you question why they charge for bread, but once you try it, you'll understand it's well worth the price - Just wow. Honestly, we could've had only bread for dinner and that would've been a wonderful experience. The gnocchi was fantastic with rich and bold flavors, while la Spiga's tiramisu dish was one of the best we have had in the Seattle-area. We'll definitely be adding la Spiga to our rotation

Seriously, my meal at La Spiga in Seattle really stuck with me. I loved the taste of everything. That Tagliatelle al Burro di Tartufo was so rich and flavorful, I could have eaten it all night. And the Pappardelle al Coniglio? So comforting and delicious. But honestly, the Panna Cotta al Caramello (pictured) was the perfect ending. It was ✨👌🏽 It was definitely my favorite place I ate at in Seattle.
Omar K — Google review
We really wanted to like La Spiga Osteria, but our experience fell short in several ways. First, our server gave us the wrong information about the bread that comes with the cheese plate, which led us to order the calamari. The calamari was severely overpriced — $22 for a very small plate of thin, over-fried pieces. Definitely not worth the money. The pastas were fine, but portions were small for the price. To make matters worse, one of our pasta orders was wrong. They remade it, but by the time it came out, one of us had already finished eating. These things happen, but there was no apology beyond a quick “sorry,” and no effort to make it right. Finally, when the bill came, we noticed they had upcharged each pasta dish by $2 compared to the menu. I had to ask the server to adjust it — not exactly the kind of attention to detail or customer care you’d expect. Overall, between the overpriced appetizers, small portions, incorrect order, and billing issues, this was a disappointing experience. We won’t be returning.

If you’re craving Italian in Seattle, this is the spot! The lasagna is incredible — rich, comforting, and perfectly made. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great choice for date night. On top of that, the staff really knows how to take care of you. Highly recommend!

This place seems to be like fine wine, getting better with age. The cocktail skills and backbar are excellent. The staffing is adequate, (as opposed to understaffed). The menu hasn't changed all that much, but, little need to mess with a good thing. Happy Hour gets you a couple bucks off some food and drink items, not much more. Though we do seem to find ourselves here more at that time of day, so, I really can't comment on what it looks like during a dinner rush.

We had the roasted peach with burrata and prosciutto appetizer which was yummy and satisfied our summer craving, but entrees were something we had to grit through. The gnocchi and lasagna were incredibly salty. It was like taking a bite of ocean water with each spoonful. Good drinks. Great service. Lovely atmosphere but unfortunately the food just doesn’t make up for it.

Came here this past weekend with some girlfriends for a birthday dinner and we were unfortunately so let down by the experience. The food was completely flavorless, we ordered 2 of the bread offerings, which are hard to mess up but even those weren't good. The pastas were all bad (we ordered 3), the braised beef had a strange texture. The atmosphere is fine and the wine selection was good. All that to say, save your time and money, this place was not worth it at all. Bummer

The London Plane is a bright, wine-bar styled cafe with small plates in an airy modern space. It has a country-house aesthetic and food reflects owner Matt Dillon's passions - bold salads, lots of cultured dairy, extraordinary brown bread for spreading and plenty of vinegar counterpoints. Don't miss the bakery's outstanding slices of strawberry cake or gateau Basque.
I had a great experience at the London Plane ordering Quiche of the day, Croissant, and Green Eggs and Ham. Simply, fabulous. The brand experience of this place was amazing. Never experienced any cafe with this much transparency, food quality, and welcoming atmosphere. They truly know their customers extension of experiences. Food was amazing, croissant was crisp on the outside with enough chewy dough and not extremely buttery. Green Eggs and Ham tasted amazing with perfectly cooked scramble, potatoes and seasoned ham that harmonized with the green sauce. Bit zesty as well. There were flowers, cards, and kitchen goods in store to look around. They were all amazing! Little pricey in my opinion, but definitely eye-catching. I would love to comeback here in the future.

We had a wonderful experience at the London plane. I love the concept of the store and I have wanted to try it out for some time now. I love the interiors. The staff is very polite. We ordered the plane plate and baked eggs with mimosas. Everything was very pleasant to eat. Felt like a good start to my day.

Simple menu but very tasty breakfast sandwich a d boiled egg. Lovely setting and location. I wish there was espresso drinks but the drip coffee was decent. A little bit pricey but good quality ingredients. The only thing I was to excited about was the side salad for the breakfast sandwich didn't add anything to my meal.

This spot is super cool and very European feeling! It is a great spot in Pioneer Square! I had the green eggs and ham and a raspberry lime soda, which were both delicious. I gave it 4 stars because I made a reservation and somehow they couldn’t find it because they said their system doesn’t sync well with online reservations. They also were out of 2 dishes on the menu and the menu is quite small. I wanted the daily quiche and they said there were all out, but then 15 minutes later they walked out with more of it for other costumers. Overall it was a nice place for lunch and the service was good.

Wonderful decor. Yummy pastries. Delicious food. With a bit of Mediterranean flavors in the food, it’s an amazing place to discover new spins in classic brunch dishes. The decor was beautiful when you walk in and if it’s too busy, you can always grab a coffee and a kouign amman or a croissant to go

I usually don’t give negative reviews but I had a bad experience here. This dine in and take out restaurant is conveniently located downtown. We came across this while doing a Seattle tour and caught a everyone’s attention because of beautiful and trendy this place looked. My friends and I were super excited about having breakfast here. The wait time was extremely long but we were lucky enough to be seated before hand. The wait time was terrible when we ordered our coffees. There was no communication between the server and us to let us know she was short staffed. We had to get up and find her to ask about our coffee. As soon as she got our coffee our came out. The food super disgusting and bland. Everyone from the table after eating our food got sick minutes of eating. I would never come and try this place again unless it’s for a cup of coffee.

Best pastries I've had in Seattle after sampling at least 10 bakeries this month. The outdoor seating was really cute, and they have a wide selection of artisanal ingredients for sale. I went here because I read somewhere that they had great sourdough, but the woman at the cash register said they didn't make fresh bread anymore. I did spot some in the back (see picture) so not sure what's up with that
Maggie W — Google review
It was definitely delicious and I will return! Not the cheapest place but it is what it is. The breads were thick and delicious and worth the price. Some of the sides... Not so much. They didn't have London fogs on the menu (how???) but they were still able to make them for us. Decent service. I definitely want to return here just as a place to chill and read a book but I'm not sure if it really acts as a cafe as everyone else was eating full meals. There's a cute shop on the one side of it though with cool wares.

Cow Chip Cookies is a daytime cookie shop located in Pioneer Square, near Occidental Square. They offer a variety of delicious cookies including chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, trail mix, and more. Customers have raved about the chocolate chip cookie and the wide variety of sweets available. Visitors have also enjoyed the mini cookies and M&M cookies for kids. The shop has received praise for its friendly service and tasty treats, making it a must-visit destination for cookie lovers.
The chocolate cookie was the bomb! Stumbled upon this place by mistake as I was walking down the street with my girlfriend. The lady that served us was really nice. I had a chocolate cookie and it’s one of the best ones, maybe the best I’ve ever had so far. I see that they’ve got and even bigger variety of sweets. I will definetely say, you have to try it yourself! I’m sure you won’t regret.

I was craving chocolate chip cookies but I didn’t know where to get them since I’m a tourist in Seattle, so I googled it and this place popped up. Was only an 8min walk away from my hotel and very easy to find. We went in and were greeted by a smiling and super kind employee who obviously loves his job. We got the big Bull Chip cookie because it was my father’s birthday, and we all absolutely loved it. We will definitely come back the next time we have a cookie craving!

The cookies are good but the prices are a little ridiculous. You can get much better deals elsewhere in downtown. Purely based on quality I'd rate it higher but I ended up spending like $25 on 8 or so cookies that weren't even that big.

This cafe specializes in American breakfast staples like pancakes, waffles, and biscuits and offers weekend brunch. They also have free WiFi. The cafe is spacious with many tables inside and out. The food was excellent and the service was quick for a busy Saturday morning.
A wonderful way to start off the morning! We got the Belgian waffle, with a side of bacon, and veggie potato sauté. The Belgian waffle was a perfect portion and the bacon was cooked nice and crispy. We ordered the sauté with veggie sausage and egg added in. This savory breakfast, with a heaping portion of potato’s and just the right amount of veggies, was delicious. The potato’s were lightly fried and perfectly cooked. The add-ons made it even better. Not to mention the service was great and everyone was very kind and helpful. There were also so many options- three full menu pages of breakfast choices. Do yourself a favor and get breakfast here!

Overall I had an amazing experience with a very big group (9 people) for dine in. They do not take reservations - walk up only. The food had big portions and very tasty! We went on a Sunday so it was very busy. We had to wait 15-20 minutes. I’m glad you can order coffee or a drink at the counter while you wait. They offer alternative milks too to their drinks. I highly recommend the a hot vanilla matcha latte. Large breakfast and lunch menu. Pretty standard large party fee. Reasonably priced and love that it’s a local owned business. Two bathroom. Inside is on the smaller size so be careful is sound is overwhelming. They do have outdoor dining with a few heaters.

So glad this wonderful neighborhood restaurant is still around. The food is always good - whether that’s breakfast items or lunch/dinner. They have such a big menu too, everyone can find something that they love from burgers to omelette, to pancakes, to delicious crab cakes (try the Benedict). Very relaxed, family friendly environment with indoor and outdoor seating. Oh and their cocktails are great! They are a neighborhood staple!

Oh I went into here with an open mind but the food I got was so sub-par. Dungeness crab cake with pesto tossed scrambled eggs and breakfast potatos... and toast. Briefly. Crab cake was more of a crab patty (insert SpongeBob joke). A generous dollop of hollandaise placed right on top guarantees a flavorful experience. Pesto scrambled eggs. Watery, I'm not sure it's taken into account how much moisture the pesto adds to the scrambled eggs. Breakfast potatoes. Served.... not that warm? I can tell seasoning is added but it's hard to pick it out. Usually perfectly seasoned breakfast potatoes don't need anything added to them... but for these I had to throw on ketchup and hot sauce (still didn't finish them, though). The toast and accompanying jam was very good and perhaps my favorite part of the meal. The coffee was also very good, but I did arrive just as they opened so it was at peak freshness... I'll probably make a return trip to here since it's within walking distance from my place, but I'll do so cautiously...

This casual eatery is great for a quick, satisfying meal. Bryant Corner Cafe has a wide variety of selections, including a decent number of pastries. They have egg dishes as well as pancakes and French toast. The coffee is good and plentiful. Service is efficient and there is enough space for larger parties. I had a nicely made Lox Benedict served with crispy, yummy country potatoes.

TLDR; bakery with a range of offerings and quality products We came in for a small bite on a rainy day and were overall quite happy with our experience here. Between the two of us we ordered an iced mocha (way too sweet, do not recommend), a cappuccino and some food - almond fold, chocolate thumbprint, lingonberry tart and the onion cheese puff. The puff is the real winner here - it’s so incredibly flavorful that I’ll definitely come back for more. Docked a start because I wish the shortbread cookies were a little less sweet. Coffee was ok - I’ve definitely had better.

I highly recommend visiting this place at least once if you want to eat just normal cookies like chocolate chip or peanut butter as well as if you would like to taste something very specific like marzipan pastries, semlor or  white chocolate mousse with strawberry coulis. Thank you for bringing the rich traditions of Scandinavian baking to Seattle! You definitely made Seattle more special, unique and international! Also, always nice and friendly service!

This is a very nice bakery that's an 11min drive from Green Lake. They have an awesome selection of breads, cakes and pastries to choose from. Staff is very friendly and atmosphere is nice. They've also got stickers if you like to collect those for places you've been. And there is decent parking in the area along the streets. Highly recommend.

I love Byen Bakeri. My usual birthday ritual is to buy many slices of cake to take home and also a lil somethin to eat right then and there. They even sell bday candles right there at the counter. Walk across the street down by the office buildings and find the perfect bench by the Fremont Cut to watch the boats go by. Sometimes you can even catch sight of the Fremont Bridge rising up! For this birthday I got a slice of Princess cake (an absolute MUST), carrot cake, raspberry cake, and of course chocolate ganache cake. All delicious! Thank you Byen Bakeri!

I visited a couple of times after trying the tarts at a dinner party. The tarts were excellent (especially if you are a fan of marzipan). First visit the service was so-so. Not great, not bad - indifferent is the word. Second time was not a good experience at all. Extremely discourteous and juvenile. I don’t remember ordering a double eye-roll from both people working behind the counter. Poor customer service does seem to be a trend here - I for one will not return.

A friend wanted to share this bakery with me. Oh my goodness. So many wonderful things to choose from. I ordered a nonfat latte flavored with cardamom. Delicious! For food I ordered a ham and cheese puff, which was basically a roll filled with, you guessed it, ham and cheese. I also ordered a sweet pecan roll to have something sweet. The coffee was made to order and perfect. The ham and cheese was fresh, but maybe next time I’ll stick with sweet things. The sticky pecan roll had just the right amount of cinnamon and sweetness. Can’t wait to go back and try more sweet goods.

Delicious Scandinavian bakery in Seattle! The selection is vast and tasty, from cakes and pastries to sandwiches and open-faced bread. The Radical chocolate chip cookies were a hit with a kid! The staff is friendly and there is a restroom available for the customers. However, the ambiance is lacking. To truly capture the hygge vibe, please consider adding more cozy touches, like plush seating and warm lighting, live plants and nice cutlery/plates. With a few design tweaks and some elbow grease, this place could be truly special!

This Seattle bakery & cafe is well known for their delicious donuts and cookies, but they also offer pastries, wedding cakes and more. The coffee is always of high quality and the staff are friendly. This bakery is perfect for a quick bite or a nice coffee with some snacks.
We got the basque cheesecake, strawberry panna cotta, and blueberry tart. They do not skimp on the ingredients and the fruit were all so fresh! Nice little bakery in the Madison Park. I stopped in for coffee and a doughnut. The old fashion was great and the coffee was good. It looks different then previous pictures, light blue instead of red but I guess there's been an ownership change. Nice stop!

Saffron and butter risotto Milanese savored in the golden hour glow of Lago di Como. Perfectly fried seafood jalea, ocean fresh ceviche and crunchy, golden yucca the reward for a long journey through Lima's grittier barrios. Memorable experiences, but not surprising. Not like the fact that some of the best French pâtisserie can be found right here on the wild frontier, a block from Lake Washington. With the superb Madison Park Bakery within a frisbee toss of home, I have an excellent reason NOT to sit on a plane for 12 hours en route to Paris. With pastry this good, why budge from Mad Park? Now let me zoom out a bit... My recent "discovery" of the Madison Park Bakery must be a karmic pay-back for maintaining such low cholesterol and triglycerides for decades... And as D.H. Lawrence ends a famous poem, I too "have something to expiate, a pettiness." Meaning assumptions way off the mark: the few times, years ago, I bothered to peer into MPB's hazy window (I could only make out a few lurid cupcakes and frosted cookies), I assumed this bakery was of the stale 1950s relic variety. So never did I cross the threshold during my first 14+ years residing in MP. Even though I'm close enough when I crack open a window, I can catch a waft of the yeasty ovens. I can't speak for what this bakery used to be, though judging from others' reviews, the MPB has changed mightily since new owners came along a couple years ago. That's a long time to have unknowingly deprived myself of Provençal baker Cecilia Lystad's exquisite almond croissant and her other decadent pieces-de-resistance, including her crème brûlée croissant and Basque cheesecake. You will need to muster up supernatural self-discipline to refrain from finishing this chef's masterful confections in one sitting. They are that good, my fellow gourmands and goinfres! Always a fan of competition between virtuosi (think Messi vs. Ronaldo), I recently pitted MPB's almond croissant against one baked by that Colossus by the Bay, San Francisco's world-renown Tartine Bakery. The result was like Lionel blasting home a penalty kick with my grandma (RIP) defending the goal. While Tartine's almond croissant was uninspiring, even stodgy, nothing lifting it above the quality of say, the kind of croissant baked who-knows-when that you might find at Oakland Airport (we feel for you, Oakland!) while waiting for a redeye flight delayed indefinitely, MPB's almond croissant exemplified the magnificent, everything about it 5-star: the crisp, flaky crust, the interior a master class in light-yet-filling butteryness, and the almond filling generous and redolent of fresh, hand-ground almonds. Take that, Tartine! At $6.50+ including tax, think of MPB's almond croissant less as a mere pastry, and more like an investment in your culinary education—so if you're fortunate enough to later taste-test Paris's best offerings, you'll have a very high standard by which to judge. Though you might want to just save the airfare and instead invest those $$$ in furthering your education right here in Madness Park, proceeding to MPB's crazy-good crème brûlée croissant invention. They were long gone by midday when the lovely staff member Marie first brought them to my attention, so I strategically crow-barred myself out of bed at 6:45 the following Saturday morning and just barely beat out MPB's loyal line-up of crack-of-dawn pastry zombies...and to my delight snagged one of these coveted treasures. A cylinder of crisp croissant perfection topped with, yes, a deep, diet-crushing skating pond of eggy, custardy crème brûlée, complete with torched brown sugar glassy top. As your unofficial lipid guardian, I challenge you to halt when you've inhaled just half of Chef Cecilia's crème brûlée croissant. Sharing is a virtue. Bon chance! PS: I've barely begun to indulge in MPB's many tempting choices. My understanding is that the chef is always experimenting with interesting twists on French classics, so I'm sure as a gourmand/goinfre/gastropod-in-training I'll find much to enjoy—I need to make up for lost time!

With all the positive reviews. I don't understand what happened. The cake's ingredient list is packed with artificial additives, preservatives, and processed ingredients that make it far from wholesome. Some of the most concerning elements include: Partially Hydrogenated Oils (Soybean, Cottonseed, Palm Kernel Oil) – These are sources of trans fats, which are linked to heart disease. Artificial Strawberry Flavor Bits – Instead of real strawberries, this includes corn syrup, artificial flavors, and Red 40, a synthetic dye that has been associated with hyperactivity in children and potential health risks. Sodium Aluminum Phosphate – A controversial ingredient used in baking powders that may contribute to excessive aluminum intake. TBHQ (Tertiary Butylhydroquinone) – A chemical preservative linked to possible negative effects on health when consumed in high amounts. Artificial Flavors & Colorants (Red 40, Beta Carotene, Artificial Strawberry Flavor) – These mimic real food ingredients but are chemically derived, reducing the nutritional value of the product. High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS) – A highly processed sweetener that has been connected to metabolic disorders and increased risk of obesity. I was excited to try this treat, but after reading the ingredient list, I couldn’t be more disappointed. Instead of using real, natural ingredients, this product is loaded with artificial flavors, preservatives, and synthetic colorants. Why use "Artificial Strawberry Flavor Bits" when real fruit exists? Why pack it with Red 40, TBHQ, and hydrogenated oils when healthier alternatives are available? The amount of high fructose corn syrup, artificial flavors, and chemical emulsifiers is staggering. It feels like this was manufactured in a lab rather than a bakery. The overuse of aluminum-based leaveners and petroleum-derived additives makes this a product I would not recommend to anyone looking for quality food. If you care about what you put in your body, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for a treat that actually contains real, natural ingredients. This is a science experiment masquerading as dessert, and I won’t be buying it again.

People were right, it’s a moist cake. It’s nice soft, and fluffy. It’s just really, really sweet. The cream that they use is similar to Cool Whip, and not actual cream which makes the cake a lot heavier when consumed. I think it’s a nice treat if eaten in moderation. I’d say give it a try, but with expectations. Service was friendly, and cake shop is vibrant and island themed.

Great custard pie! Definitely coming back, disappointed with the chai flavor was great but they basically gave me half a cup of a drink? I’m not sure if it may have been foam that went away or what, but instead of Starbucks I thought let me pop into this bakery to support small business. And to order a drink that was half fill was a bit disappointing. Nonetheless, the pie was amazing.

Café Hitchcock is a chic eatery that captures the essence of farm-to-table dining, nestled on Bainbridge Island and accessible via a scenic thirty-minute ferry ride. Guests can indulge in house-cured meats and seasonal dishes that highlight fresh produce, all crafted to please even the pickiest of diners.
Rarely do I feel like a sandwich is something to write a review about, but this place deserves it. Both the egg/red pepper/arugula and the egg/ham/brie/arugula are phenomenal. Coffee is fantastic too.

Staff was friendly and seemed genuinely eager to answer questions. The coffee was beyond expectation. A full arsenal of flavors. The sandwich was outstanding. The crust on the bread was crunchy, the bread soft and warm with a delicate toasting to it. The bacon was thick and meaty. The eggs perfectly cooked into a pillow. My only regret was finding this place on my last day in Seattle.

I cannot believe I just paid $26 for a good coffee, great fresh cookie and a dry flavorless chewy tofu (not in a good way) salad. And, as is the trend these days, the system starts at 20% tip for counter service. He literally pointed me at a self serve rack. Will def return for coffee, as a food venue it’s disappointing at 11am on a Tuesday. Maybe other food is better but the premade weak cabbage salad was super overpriced - was expecting a properly tossed and freshly plated salad at that price point.

For some reason at 4pm they had no coffee of any kind and a “popup” menu. I ordered a mushroom grilled sandwich and it took about 20 min to arrive. Bread was a little burned and the meal was mediocre. I am not sure if it comes with cheese but I couldn’t detect any. Still likely a good spot for coffee based on reviews but it seems they don’t serve coffee all day?

The shop has a nice atmosphere and a very clean, modern aesthetic. The americano I had was quite good. I also enjoyed the service from the Brazilian barista. She was quite friendly and easygoing. I thought the bacon on the chicken club was delectable. I am knocking two stars off due to price and portion. I realize restaurants are struggling due to inflation, but $17 for a small sandwich with a very wimpy slice of tomato and five pieces of lettuce seemed just ridiculous.

Smell is amazing, great options, food tastes amazing.. Because everything is cooked to order it took over 15 minutes for a breakfast sandwich.. well worth the wait, but make sure you are not in a rush.. one star deducted for the wait. also good selection of coffee and adult beverages.. sign up for their frequent customer program and save some $../

Customers rave about the delicious treats, such as the Carmel Mocha with a shot of Strawberry and the Chocolate Chunk Cookie. The Apple Pop Tart and Vanilla Bean Cheesecake are also highly recommended. Visitors praise the matcha blueberry poptarts and lemon curd cheesecake for their amazing flavors and buttery crusts.
This is such a cute cafe in Cap Hill. They have a variety of pastries and drinks to choose from. They also offer board games and 2 levels of seating. The barista was super sweet to us and helped with any questions we had. I definitely recommend!

My gf ordered a vegan cake and I picked it up. The shop was closed but they were satisfying to go orders. You could tell the owner put her heart and soil into the place. She was so sweet and gave me instructions on how to best preserve the cake before a birthday dinner. The cake was as delicious as it was visually stunning. I plan on going back to stuff my face sometime soon!

Curious about “Berber walnut caramel” and it turned out so good! The caramel sauce inside the cookie was somehow savory with a slight hint of cumin, and pleasantly sweet-salty, which could be so addictive. I think it’s worth to stop by picking up this unique cookie.

Shikorina is a true treasure! The cookies are unbelievably delicious — perfectly baked, rich, and full of flavor. You can tell so much love goes into every batch. And the owner is an absolute sweetheart! Her kindness, passion, and welcoming energy make every visit special. It’s rare to find a place where the treats are this good and the heart behind the business shines so brightly. Highly recommend stopping by — your taste buds will thank you!

We got the berry toaster pastry, the apple version as well, chocolate chunk, blueberry 🫐 muffin, vegan banana bread and the Indian spiced stuffed cookie. Everything is delicious 😋 our blue-hair server was friendly and recommended their favorites! Plus as a fellow baker I appreciate the quality!

What an incredible little bakery! I ordered 12 birthday cupcakes and pop-tarts. Both were so tasty. The blueberry tarts with strawberry frosting were delicious! But I really wish I would have taken a photo of the cupcakes because they were beautiful with pastel birthday sprinkles. I will definitely be back 🙌🏻

Amazing. I got 2 cookies, a brownie, and a vegan pop tart to share with family. The flavors were incredible and unlike any pastries I've had. The texture of everything was spot on. I was really impressed by the pop tart. It perfectly nailed the flavor of a classic brown sugar cinnamon pop tart while also improving on it because the pastry is so light and flaky, it was amazing. Will definitely come back whenever I'm in Cap Hill.

Bought a $75 cake with butter cream frosting that was strangely tasting like straight butter, not sweet as you’d expect. Did they miss adding sugar? Chocolate cake was very good, salted caramel also was very good, but overall together it just did not work. This was a miss.

Takeout Restaurant
Ballard Pizza Company is a no-frills take-out and delivery spot in Seattle, known for its straightforward thin-crust pizzas, wings, and subs. The restaurant has a super casual vibe with a hip setting that's popular among locals. It's owned by Ethan Stowell, a beloved Seattle chef with multiple successful restaurants. The quality pies are best enjoyed on the heated patio at both locations. The menu offers a variety of options including vegetarian-friendly choices like the veggie bomb pizza.
Solid New York-style slice. The crust is near perfect here and they have a lot of creative flavor combos in addition to more traditional toppings.
Cougfan#93 R — Google review
TLDR; this style of pizza is not for me. We ordered a slice of pepperoni and a large cheese pizza with basil between the 3 of us. I can honestly say that I don’t think I’ll be back - the pizza was too greasy, and for the price, I expected better quality and flavors. I’ve made the mistake of eating a cheese pizza at little ceasers once, and this felt just like that except with a thinner crust. I’m hoping this probably has to do with the style of pizza they make, which just isn’t for my palette.
Pooja C — Google review
Beware GF orderers! The medium GF pizza is MUCH smaller than the regular medium pizza. And you have to pay an additional $4 for the GF crust. This size disparity isn’t communicated on the menu or online ordering. Shouldn’t have to pay extra for a very small and already expensive pizza. Very disappointed and will be going elsewhere in the future.
Taylor R — Google review
I’m new to Seattle, so when I googled “best pizza in Ballard” this place came up. I went on the thing to choose what I wanted and was shocked at how expensive it is. I thought, “Maybe this pizza is so good it’s worth it?” Against every fiber of my being, I went through with it and ordered a $40 pizza. I was so disappointed when I opened the box and saw a sad, sad excuse for a pepperoni pizza. This is nothing special and the single most expensive pizza I’ve ever ordered. It has changed me as a person. There’s gotta be something better in the city.

Super delicious and the best pizza stop to have a peaceful yummy pizza. Tried the veggie vegan cheese pizza and never knew vegan could taste this good.
Priyanka — Google review
Great pizza. Really good flavor balance, well constructed recipes. Decent crust! GF crust was chewy, crispy and satisfying. Asking an additional $4 for a 10in GF crust on top of the medium 14in price isn't reasonable, to me. Depending on what they're using, these crusts freeze and bake just fine. This is a price that will make me hesitate to come again. Atmosphere is really cute! Very old-school pizza vibes. *However* the track lighting should either point much higher on the wall or straight down. Pointing right at the face of anyone sitting along the wall is awful. I almost left because of this (no food is tasty with a migraine) but I was able to borrow my partner's hat, so it was okay. Fun cocktails, decent pours! Overall a fun new experience that i would do again with a few modifications and changes in expectation. The pizza is great. The service is great. The lighting needs some tweaking.
B B — Google review
Tasty pizza - filling, piping hot, etc. I appreciate the by-the-slice option. The pizza is super thin crust (really crunchy - yum) and large, so a single slice can fill you up for a few hours. But you can try a few house specials without buying multiple pizzas - just get slices. Staff is super friendly.

Christina Nelson embarked on a quest to find the finest macarons in the greater Seattle region and struck gold at Macadons. She placed an order for twelve delectable treats, which were promptly delivered right to her doorstep. The selection of flavors and charming holiday designs presented quite a challenge when limited to choosing only a dozen. For those in search of oversized macarons perfect for striking Instagram-worthy photos, Macadons in White Center is an absolute must-visit.
The macarons here are absolutely delicious and worth trying five stars for food! Service was decent but could be friendlier or faster. The atmosphere felt lacking, not really cozy or welcoming, which took away from the overall experience. Still, very affordable prices make it a good stop for a quick treat.

This is a very pretty boutique macaron shop. I enjoyed the macaron ice cream sandwich...a changé of pace from the usual. I tried the Vietnamese Coffee option and it was good, as was the espresso they offer as well. Parking can be tough.
J G — Google review
I remember walking by the storefront during their soft opening. The owner and staff were nice and humbly asking for feedback. We were given a few free samples of a new flavor they were going to release. We gave our criticism and next time around I felt they took our input into consideration. Me and my partner would pop in once in a blue moon when we were living in downtown Renton. Even less frequent now since we've moved away. When we are in the area, we make it a point to pop in and see what new flavors and offerings they have. Fast forward to today. I'm glad to know they are still here. They have great macarons with distinct flavors. If I were to eat one with my eyes closed. I could confidently say I know what the flavor is. They serve ice cream and a slew of caffeinated beverages like tea and coffees. Today I purchased their Vietnamese coffee. It's strong caffeine wise. has a balanced sweetness to it with a creamy consistency. It's what I would expect in a Vietnamese coffee. Also, This place is aesthetically cozy and the staff are patient and nice. One perk that I want to highlight is their self serve sample teas located on the counter. It sits on a warmer so it's always a good hot temperature. I recommend coming to check out their offerings.

What a “sweet” little shop in the heart of Renton. They have a wonderful menu of teas and their macaron selection is to die for! We had lunch and Vietnamese coffee too. If I lived locally I’d bring my laptop and spend my afternoons doing work here and having a sweet treat.

Macadons is hands down the best macaron spot in the Puget Sound. Their macarons are incredibly fresh, with bold, vibrant flavors that put other bakeries to shame—every bite is rich, chewy perfection. The spacious interior makes it a great place to relax or catch up with friends, and the playful dragon sculpture on the roof adds a unique, welcoming charm. A must-visit for any dessert lover!

Restaurant
Cornelly is a popular Italian restaurant in Seattle known for its classic pizzas, fresh pasta dishes, and salads. The menu features a variety of options including roasted leeks with zaatar, foraged mushrooms, and confit garlic toppings on their naturally leavened pizzas. Additionally, the restaurant offers a rotating selection of pasta dishes made with local veggies and handmade pasta.
This place is pretty much always packed. I'd attempted to come here at 6 a month prior, and after finding out it would be an hour wait, decided to eat somewhere else. This time we decided to come at 5:10 (basically right when it opened!) and it was still an hour wait. We decided to stick it out though, and it ended up being around 45 minutes Before getting the pizza, we decided to order bread service. This proved to be an incredibly good decision This might be the best bread I've ever had pre-meal in any restaurant in my life. It's that good. The bread comes out in four massive, semicircular-like 3d shapes of sourdough, and even just looking at it - you know you've never seen anything like it before. The edges running all the way to the summit are charred super well, and a beautiful golden brown color from the butter runs through each of the sides. Upon taking a bite, I was blown away even further. The outside is so incredibly crunchy - possibly the crunchiest bread I've ever had. Meanwhile, the inside is somehow pillowy soft, which creates an all-time good textural combination. Somehow, there are even olives inside! I spread the herbed butter on top of the bread, and this brought it to even another level. Just amazingly good stuff. The salt levels in both the butter and the bread were absolute perfection. Later on, we were given the hot honey pizza that we ordered - decided to share this between 2 people. This was a good pizza, but nothing special in my opinion It was very liquidy - probably a bit too much for me, having essentially no structural integrity whatsoever. The cornicione (outer crust) was very chewy, and quite difficult to get down. I also didn't really get much spice from the supposed hot honey. What I did like was the combination of red sauce, cheese, and pineapple worked well together Lastly, we got the salted chocolate chip cookie - which was again very good. Again with fantastic levels of salt Since we split the pizza, the total cost ended up being around 25 per person, which I thought was pretty reasonable Overall, if I was just ranking the bread & dessert, this would be a 10/10, but the pizza being on the mostly-good side gets this to an 8.5/10
James — Google review
Tried this place while visiting and damn. Just damn it was so good. The Hornet Honey is probably the best version of pepperoni/pineapple you can find on this earth. The crust was crisp, the sauce was light and flavorful. Those roasted pineapples cut through the grease of the pepperoni just right. The pasta was very fresh and had a delightful chew that just added to how delightful the whole dish was. Even if I can only do takeout, this place is on my shortlist for when I visit again!

Honestly one of the best pizza places I’ve ever been to! The restaurant is cozy and aesthetic, perfect for a cute date or a nice dinner!! You’ll want to go early since they don’t take reservations and there’s usually a wait. Their pizzas and pastas are top tier, soso delicious, and I can’t wait to go more often to try everything on the menu. I’ve already been four times!
Michelle L — Google review
We got in line at 4;45 and were the second group seated. After reading lots of reviews about wait times we decide to go early and no regrets. The pesto spaghetti was incredible. It was perfectly al dente and flavors were balanced. We loved the bold pistachio and the lemon. Also it was nice and saucy! The pizza was good but not great. The crust was well cooked and had good structure but we found the toppings a bit bland of the nightshade pizza. The eggplant was so thin it didn’t add much flavor, the sausage didn’t have much fennel and overall we found it a bight light on flavor when we were hoping for more. It was a lovely dining experience but we wouldn’t rate it as our favorite pizza place.
Sophia W — Google review
been meaning to try this spot for a while and finally got to last night. highly recommend walking or taking transit since parking is impossible. food was solid: the pesto spaghetti wasn’t too nutty or minty and perfectly al dente, and the pizza was great. sadly, the bread service was sold out, but i’ll be back to see if it lives up to the hype. great outdoor vibes in the summer too.
Jabin C — Google review
We ordered the Chanterelle Kale pizza and the leek salsa verde pasta. Both were good. First the pizza - it's a sourdough Neopolitan style pizza with a solid 9/10 flavorful base. However, it was too busy. There were too many elements which weren't necessarily complimentary to each other. It was a similar story on the pasta as well. Too many elements for the pasta which didn't really let the main flavor come through as much. The food can benefit from a less is more approach if they want to step it up. The atmosphere is great - very casual and you are basically in their kitchen with the chefs cooking for you. The service was very warm and welcoming. So no points taken for that. I will be back to try some more of the pizzas in the future. Cheers!

I'm from Costa Rica and every time I visited Seattle for work, I was already thinking about coming to Cornelly for their pizza with honey. That's not an exaggeration - it became the highlight of my trips. The pizza here is just incredible. The crust is perfectly done, the ingredients are fresh and high quality, and everything tastes amazing. But that pizza with honey? It's a game changer. The sweet and savory combination works so well, I haven't found anything like it anywhere else. The place itself is welcoming and comfortable. You can tell they care about what they're doing, it's not just about making pizza, it's about making it right every single time. If you're in Seattle, don't skip Cornelly. It's worth it.
Yauri R — Google review
Obsessed. I understand why this place has had such hype in the last year. I'm always hunting for a good pizza spot and Cornelly has both fabulous pizza in addition to other dishes like pasta and salads that comes with quality and uniqueness. Such a cute environment but be warned that they dont take reservations and WILL have a line. First time trying to visit was a Saturday at 6 and it was going to be a 2.5 hour wait. The next time was arriving 10-15 minutes before they opened at 5pm on a Thursday and they still had a line... luckily I was about group number 7ish and got a table once they had seated everyone before me. There's only about 7-8 tables, and a few different bar counrertop seats.

Mad Pizza, located in downtown Seattle, offers a wide variety of hand-tossed slices and pies made with homemade dough and an array of toppings. Customers can enjoy free delivery service as well. The classic pepperoni pizza is generously layered with crispy edges and delicious house-made tomato sauce. Another popular option is the Mad Scientist pizza, featuring a delightful pesto sauce and a perfect cheese to topping ratio.
Grub hub completely screwed up my order. When it arrived they grabbed the wrong order. They asked me the code before I got the order to confirm it was me and then handed me $20 dollars worth of food I did not order. My order was $90 with tip and fees. Grub hub refused to reimburse me as I gave the code the driver asked for before he handed me the wrong order. I did not except the food and the driver left. I called Mad Pizza and let them know what happened and I probably not in the best mood when I called and I apologize for that if so. They were super nice and cooked the right order again and delivered it themselves. I highly recommend this place in the future.

Worst disgusting pizza I ever had in my life. The pizza is falling apart. The white sauce is very disgusting. They put too much white sauce it taste like mayonnaise it makes me wanna puke. Do not order from there. Their website doesn’t even work. They got no phone number on Google. They need to be shut down.

The first time I came the cook saw me and when I said hello, he looked at me then turn his back to me, so I walked out. That was a few weeks ago and I figured I should give the place a second chance. I ordered online and went in to pick up my order and waited while it was finishing. As I was looking around I heard him sneeze which happened while he was packing up wings. He also kept wiping his hands on his pant then touch someone pizza. As for my order. I ordered wings, which were flavorless and undercooked and a Detroit style pizza which was just round pizzas folded up. It was also undercooked.

I checked Mad Pizza on Madison today for lunch and I ended up having 2 slices of delicious pizza and a guava-flavored drink for like $17 with tip included! It was a very nice experience overall. Nice food and nice people, too. I will be coming back!

Unfriendly service. The place appears to be running to the ground. The only menu visable with actual pizzas was torn up and taped by the checkout. Couldn't find a pizza that had any sort of red sauce base. We ordered some wings and they were decent but expensive for what you got. No cups. Drink dispenser was almost completely in disrepair.

Super yummy pizza here!! The classic pepperoni was very generously layered, and had perfectly crispy edges 😋 The house made tomato sauce was really nice too! We also enjoyed the Mad Scientist! The pesto sauce was delish, and it had a great cheese to topping ratio 👌 The only thing that wasn’t perfect was really the fault of DoorDash / Caviar I think! We ordered a Madaccini pasta assuming it was a fettuccini with white sauce, but actually got penne with tomato sauce. I saw on the actual Mad Pizza website that there is a choice for sauce available, but DoorDash doesn’t show any options! So if the owner reads this, it would be great if you could check on that, since it was a disappointing to get a different pasta than we expected, but understandable when working with third party apps :) Overall it the food was great and we will definitely be ordering again!

Bakery Honore is a charming patisserie that offers a delightful selection of French-style baked goods and specialty coffee drinks. Located in Loyal Heights, Seattle, it is renowned for its unreal croissants that are divinely flaky and buttery. The ambiance exudes warmth and Parisian charm, with friendly staff always ready to assist customers in choosing from the myriad pastries available.
I'm generally a bit generous with 5-star reviews, but Bakery Honoré genuinely deserves it. It is a testament to the quality of their pastries that they are only open three days a week, for 7 hours a day. The pastries are immaculate, and the croissants are the best I've found in Seattle and possibly elsewhere (I say this as someone who's been to Arsicault, Craftsman & Wolves etc.). The coffee is also amazing and the matcha latte—one of my favorite drinks of all time—is the best I've had anywhere (and this drink can be VERY hit or miss depending on where you go). The atmosphere, decorations, music, and the friendliness of the staff are just as enjoyable as the food. You just have to see for yourself. (= They have a few heated savory breakfast sandwiches and some seating if you wish to enjoy your food or drink on-site. For what it's worth, I walk two miles to come here every weekend... so they must be good!

Have lived nearby and meant to go for years but due to Maps status, had assumed it was closed… It is NOT! It is open, vibrant, and delicious. Baristas are friendly, and service is quick. They have a brilliant and wide assortment of gorgeous French pastry (provided you come early, as we’ve heard they sell out!), the coffee is delicious, and the cafe ambience is lovely. Thanks so much to our new favorite local coffee shop and bakery!!

Yay! They are open again. After numerous times driving by and wanting to go in but frustrated by the "closed" sign on the door, we were pleasantly surprised to drive by today and see it open. One quick u-turn later, we were inside and dealing with the quandary of having to choose from an abundance of amazing-looking desserts. This is the kind of place every neighborhood wants. Tiny, but full of atmosphere and enticing pastry of all kinds. The staff was friendly, helpful, quick, and seemed genuinely happy to be there. They told us the Kouign-amann were fresh, and I was glad to hear it, as it's one of my favorite pastries and I've found it notoriously difficult to get a good one. These were light, sweet, and buttery without being too greasy - everything you want from the Breton classic. As good as they were however, it was hard to turn away from the many delicious-looking options in the case. I know I've got to go back to get the apricot tart, whatever that cream filled bun was, and - according to my neighbor - the cherry strudel. That's another nice thing about Honore, it's the kind of place where you see your neighbors and they tell you to get there early if you want to get the strudel before it runs out. The coffee was also not bad. They make an acceptable cortado, which is one of my cafe litmus tests. Not the best I've had, but an absolutely find complement to the pastry. As I said, it's small - one 3-person tables and 5 2-tops, but if you can snag one, it's a lovely place to hang out and chat, play a game of cards, do some journaling, listen to French music, and watch people struggle with the pastry decisions you just made. We were lucky in our timing. When we got there, the place was empty, but 5 minutes after we sat down, there was a line out the door and all the tables filled up quick and by the time we left, the cases were nearly cleared out, so I think that this is the kind of place you want to hit early if you can. I hope they stay open!

Bakery Honore feels like stepping into a cafe in the middle of Paris rather than Lake City. The ambiance is expertly curated bringing a nice warmth to every interaction. The staff are always smiling and happy to engage customers to help them pick from the myriad pastries. Pegasus coffee and espresso are available for the perfect pairing. Despite being open only Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the time of posting, the bakery sells out daily and is a true gem in the neighborhood. If only I could give 9 stars...

**UPDATE: Found this sharp plastic piece in the Choc Decadence!! I was one of the customers who had always liked this bakery until this morning. When I arrived around 7:50 this morning, there was already quite a long line, and after waiting for about 45 minutes, I was able to order. As you can see in the attached photo, I ordered various pastries and desserts to celebrate Mother's Day, and I paid a significant amount of $66 at the bakery. The problem arose when I arrived home and opened the box to find a Key Lime Tart instead of the Choc Decadence I had ordered. Not only was I looking forward to trying the Choc Decadence, but they also charged more than twice the cost of the Key Lime Tart, so I tried contacting them. I called them 3 times, but they never answered, and there were no other contact methods available. After trying another 2-3 consecutive calls, I finally got through, and the woman who picked up the phone said she can exchange it for the Choc Decadence if I come back. There was NO apology for their mistake. Since I didn't want to ruin Mother's Day, I decided to drive back to the bakery. When I got there, the woman checked my Key Lime Tart in the box, pouted, took it back, and finally gave me the Choc Decadence. Again, there was no apology for the time wasted going back home and driving back again, nor any acknowledgment of their mistake. Also, they took back the wrongly handed Key Lime Tart. I'm not sure if they might resell it to another customer. There is NO respect for the customer who willingly dedicated over an hour of early Sunday morning and paid a significant amount in this business. There is NO genuine apology for their mistake in this business as well. I am deeply disappointed with their customer service and will NEVER return.

Honore is such an awesome bakery! They have lots of range for those with sweet and more savory preferences, and their bakery is nicely decorated. It would be easy to spend 5 minutes or an hour here. My favorites: the pesto Parmesan pastry, the ham Gruyère and the spinach feta pastry. They are absolutely worth the trip!

Came here about minutes after opening on a Sunday and was third in line, and soon there was a dedicated line. Very much enjoyed the ham gruyere croissant and the berry tart. The bread pudding was good too, loved that it wasn't too sweet and had a lovely texture but personally could have done without the added chocolate chips. Good coffee, cute cozy interior and friendly staff too :)

When I initially got the cake from Goldbelly I was upset at the size as the cake diameter is smaller than my hand and it cost $100. Don’t be like me!!! I was very wrong with my gut reaction. I thought there’s no way this could serve four or six people, again I was wrong. It is a very small cake but it is mighty. It is rich, packed with sugar but not in an overwhelming way, and dense. The artistry and colors are stunning and the flavors all come through. The only downside is the surprise sprinkles and candies did not fall out until we sliced two full cuts out. But hey, it was fun when it did. :-). Overall if you want a fun show stopping cake and have a bit of extra money to spare, go for it. Their cakes are small but filling. I’m totally a happy customer.

The cupcakes look really pretty, but they are SO dry and pretty bland. It’s very hard to tell the difference between flavors… seriously lacking. For the salted caramel I couldn’t even taste a hint of caramel flavor.
Emily B — Google review
This is my go-to spot in University Village—but not for the cupcakes (I know, shocking!). It’s all about the macarons for me. I’ve tried almost every flavor they offer, and I genuinely love them all. The texture is always spot-on—crispy shell with a soft, chewy center—and the flavors taste exactly how they’re described, which is rare with macarons. They’re not overly sweet, just perfectly balanced, and you can tell they’re made with quality ingredients. Every time we’re in University Village, it has pretty much become a ritual to stop by Trophy and grab a box of macarons. It just doesn’t feel right to leave without them! Whether it's pistachio, lemon, strawberry cheescake, or something seasonal—they nail it every single time. They make such a nice little treat, and honestly, I could eat them all in one sitting if I didn’t have to share. I did try their cupcake once (because how can you not?), and while it was cute and beautifully made, it just didn’t hit the spot for me personally. The macarons, though? Total game changer. If you’re a macaron lover like me, this place is 100% worth checking out. Trophy might be known for their cupcakes, but for me, they’re a hidden gem for macaron lovers. Trust me—once you try them, you’ll keep coming back too.
Kulsum B — Google review
The cupcake shop is super cute and inviting, smells like baked sweetness. It's not somewhere you can sit and enjoy your cupcakes. Also a bit pricey I spent $20 on 3 cupcakes. The kids loves their cherry drop cupcakes my lemon was also a delight.
Sierra J — Google review
If they have the lemon meringue cupcake please give it a try! (if you like lemon) The lemon macaron was also really nice. I like the strawberry cheesecake also. Another great cupcake was the hummingbird. It was really nice, being from the south I appreciated the flavor combination of the fruits in the cake. Nicely done. Will probably be back and give another flavor a try before flying out. Its a nice cupcake place for a sweet treat before or after dinner, whichever!
Makayla K — Google review
Trophy Cupcakes made my day from the first bite The cupcakes are soft, fresh, and beautifully decorated every bite tastes like happiness. The staff is super friendly, and the whole place just feels joyful. Perfect spot for a little treat or a celebration
Doctor S — Google review
Tried the red velvet and it was delicious! Was scared this place would be too sweet but it was a perfect light cream cheese frosting with moist cake. They were so sweet to us and nice to our kids
Angela N — Google review
My friends from Bay Area requested getting his triple chocolate cupcakes. My order was blueberry pie, it was good, cream on top is not too sweet, cake was little flaky, I like them to be more dense. It is pricey $5 for small cupcake.

Nestled in a cozy corner, Amandine Bakeshop is a delightful bakery and café that specializes in both French and English pastries, alongside exceptional coffee sourced from Empire Espresso. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it an ideal spot for enjoying their delectable offerings. One standout treat is the Carambar cookie—an elevated take on the classic chocolate chip cookie with Valrhona chocolate chunks that melt beautifully.
Quite simply perfect! The few offerings are special, unique, and very well done! Delicious almond croissant with orange essence and a smooth Americano!
Mo O — Google review
Absolutely love this spot, tasty treats, all made in house, great coffee. Love the atmosphere in the vibe, some beautiful mezzanine seating upstairs. Good vibes and good people!
Char B — Google review
Cute little shop in a social area. Not too many options but enough to keep us satisfied. We got a handful of macaroons and despite being different flavors, all had a very similar taste. A kind of fruity sour. They also didn't have the typical macaroon texture that we're used to. They seemed more chewy cookie-like than macaroon-like. The croissants were quite soft and had a nice flake but not the best we've had.
Alex — Google review
Amazing staff that are really sweet and consistently cheer up my day! Their coffee is super yummy and local, and their pastries are always so fresh! And if you’re blessed enough to run into the owners, you will understand why this business deserve 100% of your patronage!
Tanaporn S — Google review
Good coffee. Didn't try the food / snacks. Coffee was reasonably good. Maybe not in the same tier as storyville, or milstead though I felt.
Prateek S — Google review
Amandine is one of my all-time favorite bakeries. Sara and team are immensely talented, incredibly nice, and their macarons, croissants, and other pastries are among the best I’ve ever had (and I used to live in France!). Worth stating also that their coffee has gotten me through many a day. Don’t miss this hidden gem on the Hill!
David R — Google review
Strong americanos (4 shots!) and great pastries. Their coffee comes from Empire Espresso, so you know it's going to be good. Their macroons come in variety of flavors, from macha to blueberry. They have cute packaging for their baked goods and the staff is very, very friendly. The space is a little small. But if you take the stairs located in chophouse row, you can sit in a beautiful, warm, well lit space that's perfect for camping out and working or having a nice coffee with a friend.
Julia A — Google review
A really nice coffee shop and bakery, with a great interior, great food and environment, with a nice upstairs sitting area with a lot of natural light. Unfortunately they choose to play ear-splitting rock music continuously here, which completely counteracts the vibe of the place, and makes it an unpleasant place to chat or work. No idea why they build up a beautiful relaxing environment than destroy it with their choice in music and volume.

Bakery
Batch Baking Company, located at 808 12th Ave., is a charming bakery known for its gourmet twists on classic cookies and other delectable treats. The owners, Scot and Jared, are self-taught bakers who offer small-batch creations such as sweet palmiers, salted caramels, cookies, brownies, and unique versions of nostalgic favorites like Oreos and Nutter Butters. Customers can expect to pay between $2-3 per cookie.
$2-3 per cookie. I had the fortune, peanut butter, and ginger snap cookies. All were soft and delicious—I’d definitely return to try others. The fortune cookie was my favorite, especially the fact it actually had a fortune inside 🙌 The shop itself is small and quaint. Shaded outdoor Adirondack chairs (just need to watch out for pedestrians). No frills, no menu, just cookies on display. Nearby coffee options (Starbucks, Boon Boona) so good as a combo treat as well.
Tyler A — Google review
Best cinnamon roll in Seattle. Owner is very kind and the atmosphere is very calm. I don’t know if the brioche cinnamon roll is always on the menu, but damn it was really good. The photo of this cinnamon roll should be attached to this review but I ate it too fast
Kyle H — Google review
Superb customer service/greeting. Delicious fresh chocolate chunk cookie and I got 2 of the peanut butter sandwich cookies! Would hands down come again and get me some delicious cookies when a craving strikes!
Jun-Li Z — Google review
Awesome little stop for cookies, all of the ones I’ve tried are delicious and they have good vegan/gluten free options also. Everyone working there is really friendly and make you feel welcome.
Viktor N — Google review
We wanted to try a cookie place that we didn't have back home and this place hit the spot! The Peanut butter cookie is AWESOME. It tasted like a soft peanut butter Hershey chocolate kiss cookie but with the kiss on the inside! The sea salt on top took it to a whole different level. I also recommend the sea salted caramel chocolate chip!! It was so AMAZING too. Even just the plain chocholate chip did not disappoint.
Julie M — Google review
Super friendly staff and beautiful bakery options. (Their cinnamon rolls are my personal favorites, but it’s hard to choose!). Their periodic baking classes are really fun, too.
Miriam R — Google review
The cookies are phenomenal and the service is great. I’ve had a few last minute coworker birthdays and everyone is extremely accommodating and are able to fill my requests in a timely manner! It is the set birthday treat place!
Jaxx B — Google review
Great cookies. I buy and throw away so many cookies; these I regret not buying more. The oatmeal was dense and chewy without being oily. Peanut butter chocolate is a perfect inside-out peanut butter cup. And the prices are lower than other bakeries as well.

The Pastry Project is a non-profit organization that provides pastry and bakery job training to individuals facing barriers to entry. They recently reopened their soft serve window in Pioneer Square, offering unique flavors like "purple" vanilla and chocolate milk with various optional dips and toppings. The project offers free training courses thanks to grants, revenue from monthly subscription-based goodie boxes, and corporate classes. Additionally, they host pop-ups featuring innovative pastries at their Pioneer Square shop.
The ice cream and ice cream sandwiches here are so freaking good! You will not be disappointed. Just look at how amazing they look in the photos—trust me, they taste even better! The staff are great, super friendly, and helpful. If you're looking for a sweet treat that hits the spot, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!
Brandon C — Google review
I love this place it’s a non-profit that I support they have good no frills soft serve. You won’t go wrong with any item on the menu, they’re all good. Oh if you’re going for the ice cream have it in a cup, the soft serve melts QUICK. Next I’ll try the ice cream. Sandwich
John C — Google review
I had been waiting all year for them to reopen from one summer to the next and it was absolutely worth it! Their frozen yogurt isn’t overly sweet, which I always look for, and their ice cream is just as delicious. The unique toppings, thanks to their fun collaborations, really add to the experience. We did have to wait in line, but it was well worth it. Plus, the garden right across the street is the perfect spot to sit and enjoy your treat.
Smriti B — Google review
Had the Neighborhood Sundae today and it was delicious!! Perfect balance of sweet and tangy—tastes like summer! Loved the crunchy bits of crushed macarons as well. Staff were super sweet and looked like they genuinely love what they do. Good food, good people—I’m definitely going back!
Mia — Google review
Amazing spot to get ice cream! Unique toppings made in house. The ice cream itself was great too! Not super sweet and it has great texture. The line went by fast. I highly recommend and would come back!
Alex N — Google review
Got the purple vanilla with rainbow peanut crunch. Flavorful ice cream and the topping hits the spot for a peanut lover. Get it before the window is gone!
Han C — Google review
It’s so fun that the vanilla is PURPLE! Best soft serve in Seattle. My kids love that they can get rainbow sprinkles and I love how kind the staff is. They also so so much good for the community. Couldn’t give higher stars. A definite must whenever I’m visiting from out of town.
Alexandra C — Google review
Some nice flavors and friendly service, but a bit pricey for soft serve ($9.92 with tax for a cup with dip)
