Oyster bar restaurant
Bar
Bar & grill
The Walrus and the Carpenter is a small, unassuming oyster bar in Ballard that offers a delightful selection of seafood, American dishes, and specialty cocktails. The restaurant's nautical theme creates a relaxed and breezy atmosphere with turquoise subway tiles, weathered pendant lights, and a spacious patio perfect for enjoying summertime drinks. Despite its unpretentious decor, the long lines of customers attest to the superb food served here.
An obvious Seattle favorite for the last 10 plus years, this place does not disappoint! With indoor and outdoor seating this lovely joint in Old Ballard finds itself nestled within a total experience space. In the basement is a private event area for events, and on the street side is Staple and Fancy serving as an Italian eatery and bar. This building is a one stop shop for drinks, events, and fantastic seafood and Italian. The Walrus and Carpenter itself has excellent service staff that can walk you through and needs or wants. The food itself is impeccable, with a choice selection of local Washington oysters and other mains such as the Plum Salad, Billy’s Tomatoes, Scallop Crudo, and Hama Hama Clams. All of which we had and enjoyed immensely. The drink menu also has many choice options such as the Burbank and Marvin’s Garden which are all fantastic. Highly recommended seafood place- but you already know this as The Walrus and Carpenter is one of the best places in Seattle for seafood. Doors open at 4pm, and the line starts at 3:45-3:50. No reservations, walk ins only. If there’s no room inside at tables, there’s also a bar that can accommodate.

The oysters were fresh and deliciously sweet. And the fried oysters, sardines, and asparagus were also quite nice and satisfying in their unique ways. But... (And there's always a "but")... Oysters at $5 a pop + 20% mandatory service charge is really not cheap. And the menu is rather lacking outside of the oyster selection. I know it's an oyster bar but other nice places can also offer nice oysters with a more balanced menu. But the main reason for the rather average dining experience is the very long wait between service of additional dishes. We literally arrived second in line at 4pm when they opened and ordered shortly thereafter. While the raw oysters were served soon after our order was taken, the other 3 dishes literally took 20 minutes each to arrive at our table. So the entire meal felt like we were eating one dish at a time rather than a medley of different flavors that could be combined. It really really took away from the experience. With prices reaching close to fine dining levels, and the amount of food that was actually served, the overall meal ended up being quite disappointing, and I still have an unsatisfied taste in my mouth as I write this review several hours later. I'm sure this restaurant doesn't need our business but I hope this review will better inform other potential diners to the experience that may await.
Paul L — Google review
Idk what others are complaining about. This place is on point with its food. The collar was one of the most unique takes on fish I've ever had. Amazing smoky flavor with large chunks of fish. The oyster selection was incredible albeit pricey at 5 a pop but definitely worth it to try. Only disappointing thing was the goat cheese which was super dry and brittle near the rind.
Rushad — Google review
Biggest rip off in town. Oysters 5 dollars a piece. Tapas style dishes are 20-30 dollars. Bread plate is 3 slices. Service is ok. We ordered bread and they never brought it, had to remind them 3 times. Sardines took 20 mins. Look... I get everything is more expensive nowadays, yeah, but not this expensive. My favorite was the sardines. Properly done. Update: 22% service fee was added which comes with the attitude of the service people. Google needs to have 0 star option.
Ozan E — Google review
Had a very great visit here on a Monday for happy hour. Sat at the bar right in front of Scott, who was shucking oysters. He was an absolute delight. Answering our midwestern questions about everything oysters, his favorites, the flavor profiles. He was the best part of the visit. Beyond the oysters we got a cheese plate that was 4 small slices of bread and a quarter brick of cheese. Finish it all off with a 22% service charge? Without the super friendly service I would have been disappointed. The oysters were tasty and reasonable on happy hour. I’d return if they promised Scott would be working and I’d be sat at the bar. Otherwise I would check somewhere else out.
Chad K — Google review
Expensive dishes plus 22% service charge. Dinner here would easily cost $100 per person. Tapa style dishes costs $20-$30 per dish and oysters cost $5 each.
Julie Z — Google review
I was visiting and when I arrived for oyster happy hour at 415pm it was already hopping, sat at the bar. I've learned when anywhere charges for bread, you should get it. I did. You know sometimes you are told of a great place, you go and then it's eh, this is the opposite. The staff felt not like employees but professionals. I watched the shuckers and chefs take great care in their craft and had an excellent martini. The oysters just tasted different than others I've had, including at other well known Seattle spots. If you are visiting and love oysters, this is the place for you.
Matt — Google review
Oysters were good. The beef tartar wasn't very good, it was very salty and sour, so we didn't finish it and mentioned the staff we didn't enjoy it but they still changed us for it.

Seafood restaurant
Cocktail bar
RockCreek Seafood & Spirits is a bi-level restaurant located in Seattle's Fremont district, offering a diverse menu centered around sustainable seafood from various parts of the world. The airy and inviting space features cabinlike quarters and a covered patio, creating a charming ambiance for diners. Chef Eric Donnelly showcases his fishing expertise by preparing unique seafood dishes alongside classic favorites, such as whole grilled snapper, tuna tiradito, and hearty shellfish stew.
This place should be full from the start of happy hour to close every day. Stop scrolling and go here. Let’s start with the food: the smoked trout salad is a sleeper hit—bright, flavorful, smoky, and beautifully balanced. The calamari is crisp and tender (no rubbery bites here), and the clams are briny perfection. If baked oysters are your thing, theirs are must-orders—savory, satisfying, and exactly what you want alongside a strong cocktail. The cocktails themselves are thoughtfully crafted and seriously drinkable—an excellent excuse to settle in and stay awhile. RockCreek delivers on everything you want from a seafood happy hour and a high-end seafood dinner experience. Come for the food, stay for the drinks, and leave very, very happy. Go drink and be merry!

Amazing food and service. Note some of the dishes had dairy modifications for our dietary preferences. Portions are a bit smaller so plan accordingly. Great spot!
Kevin H — Google review
We came here for a business meeting. The location was very accommodating to our needs and gave us an amazing seat our on the private patio. All of the food had amazing flavor and was seasoned very well. Drinks were all on point and we had at least one server and two bussers helping us with our plates. Overall I would take my partner here for a nice date night. The food was on point and the atmosphere was very laid back.
Sarah L — Google review
I like the kind of restaurant where the food is good and the atmosphere is casual. This is that kind of restaurant. We ordered the bread, clams, cauliflower, Bloody Mary oyster shooter, Vesuvio pasta, and Whole Grecian Branzino. Honestly everything was DELICIOUS. Surprisingly, the pasta was the Star (a unique mix of flavors that worked so well). Nothing was overly heavy, everything was healthful. Cocktails and wine also excellent. For dessert we ordered the key lime pie and apple beignets….yum!! P.s. thank you *Caressa* for the excellent service!!
Steven S — Google review
Delicious seafood, but expensive! The smoked trout salad is excellent. We were a little disappointed with the Fijian tombo tartare—it's not bad, just lacking a little something to take it over the top (maybe just some more salt?). For mains, the branzino is essential. The seafood stew is also really good. And the apple beignets are certainly decadent! Great to split with a few folks. Just be ready for a steep bill!
Kyle C — Google review
Astoundingly mediocre. I'm not sure how this place has such high reviews when there are countless other fresh seafood places out there. The oysters were just ok, no one bothered telling us what kind they were. The tuna tartare was bland. Most of their dishes were underwhelming and lacked presentation. The final nail in the coffin for me was the mandatory 23% "service charge" when the service wasn't all that great. I have experienced more enthusiasm from servers at Waffle House. I support restaurant workers making a liveable wage but they really need to figure out how to incentivize doing your job well at the same time. Just a tip for anyone visiting Seattle and wanting to experience some quality seafood & service-- I would skip this place and go to Elliotts, Taylors, or Dukes.
Gina N — Google review
Cute spot for a date with flavorful seafood-forward dishes. Lost a star primarily because it’s too expensive. It’s very nice and fun, but it’s too casual a vibe for the prices, and the portions aren’t large enough nor the food unique enough to justify how expensive it is. We mostly ordered off the happy hour menu, and it still added up too high. $18 cocktails on the main menu are rich, for example. And $3 oysters are the discounted happy hour rate, when they’re usually $5! Each! Also, there’s a 23% automatic gratuity that started in June 2025, which is pretax, so it’s effectively 25% after the 10% sales tax rate. On top of Seattle’s tipped workers making full $20+ minimum wage. However, the experience was really fun. The oysters were absolutely to die for. Top 5 for me easily. Buttery and briney and perfect sized all at the same time. From the Puget Sound. Usually I’d be upset no cocktail sauce or horseradish were provided, but the mignonette and lemon were actually perfect here. The clams in broth were well cooked, but they needed one more piece of bread at least. The fried calamari was definitely the most interesting. Instead of feeling deep fried, it was a thin layer of tiny seedy batter. It actually let the high quality squid shine. So good. The hamachi crudo was as you’d expect anywhere else it’s served. Solid. The seafood paella was good, and they took the chorizo out for us. I wish there was more rice (it’s cheap! Give us a little more substance!), and I wish they’d crisped the rice at the bottom as it’s traditionally done. The spicy margs and white lotus cocktails were both fun, good size, strong without being too liquor-dominated in flavor. Just a bit pricy ($12 happy hour and $18, respectively). Overall, I’d consider returning, but the prices are just a bit too high. I wish it were a little fancier if so. Or larger portions. Or maybe an 18% automatic gratuity if you’re gonna do it at all.
Samuel R — Google review
The food was delicious. I ordered fresh oysters and the lamb ragout. The espresso martini they make here the super tasty. The foam on top is such a smooth texture. 👌🏽 The wagyu short ribs are very tender and cooked perfectly. The waiter took too long to come take my order before happy hour ended, so I flagged down (nicely) a super sweet waitress, and she took over no problem and got everything we needed before the happy hour ended. But overall, the service was attentive and friendly. Atmosphere, I like the set up, it's an open floor plan with a good seating arrangement. And the mood lighting works well for a date night, birthday gathering, or just a company dinner. Update: I unknowingly ordered the same items again for my second time visiting Rock Creek. I did order an additional oysters shooter, the Bloody Vodka. It was good. I wish I ordered the oysters starter and shooter together. But I know for next time. The swordfish dish was recommended by my friend, though! & enjoyed the spicy margarita shooter as well. I also order the Burrata & tomato, it's definitely different than others I've tried before. It's good but something that I won't be ordering again. The green olives and the orange sauce didn't go very well for me personally. But I like being adventurous and trying new dishes here so no regrets.

Poke bar
Nestled in the vibrant Central District, Seattle Fish Guys is a delightful fusion of a café and seafood market that promises an unforgettable culinary experience. This modern eatery goes beyond the typical seafood offerings, showcasing an impressive array of fresh poke bowls, chowder, and seasonal delicacies. The deli counter is a treasure trove for seafood lovers, featuring everything from succulent smoked salmon belly to refreshing shrimp cocktails.
This place is great and I didn't even take a picture of the best thing we ate from there. They make great poke bowls that are absolutely huge, should have split one for two people and not ordered two separate ones. Probably the best chowder I had out of anywhere in Seattle. But my god their smoked salmon is the winner. Best seafood anything anywhere. You have to buy a cut of the smoked salmon.
Jesse C — Google review
Hands down the best poke in Seattle. The fish here is so insanely fresh and is on par with Hawaiian poke. I got the spicy salmon and shoyu ahi and they were both excellent. They give you large chunks of fish and big side portions. What blew my mind is that they had ika sansai (squid salad) as a free side to go along with your poke! Ika sansai is one of my favorite Japanese appetizers and Seattle Fish Guys nailed it perfectly. The squid was fresh and the marinade complimented it amazingly. They also generously add a lot of furikake to your rice which is a huge plus! The shop is a little small so there’s limited amount of tables and seating. However, it’s a fantastic place to order some poke to go!
Amber T — Google review
This store is a little further out of the city, but it’s definitely worth checking out. I got two proteins (scallop & spicy salmon), that’s about $25 but the portion is pretty big. The scallop is really creamy, and the spicy salmon has a subtle Spiciness. On the side, I got the smoked salmon mac & cheese, that one is also very creamy and taste good.
Athena L — Google review
It’s ok there… the sashimi tuna was too thick and not cut correctly so very sinewy and chewy🥺the uni was ok.. bit watery.. the poké looked too mayonaisy… and… they don’t give you water! But.. lots of samples of good smoked salmon.
Ronald H — Google review
Poke was amazing with the big pieces of fish and large portion sizes. One poke bowl is enough for two people or to split across two different meals. We especially liked the spicy tuna and wish we got to try the spicy salmon as well
Trang D — Google review
Sweet shoyu salmon was great, shoyu ahi did not hit as much (more mushy than others I’ve had). Squid side was too sour. Got the fresh sea urchin which was a little bland (and I’m usually a fan). Poke was a bit pricey at $18, 25, 28 for 1, 2, 3 scoops, respectively. Also the rice was kind of old.
Janet C — Google review
This is my third time getting uni here. First time, terrible. Second time really tasty and I loved it. This time, so bad lol it’s nothing like uni. I couldn’t eat more than one piece. It traumatized experience of uni now. They should do samples before we purchase, because it’s depends on the day they sell. I wasted my 20 dollars haha

Most expensive poke I ever paid between Hawaii and Bay Area, but you know what? It’s pretty darn good and they seem like a mom and pop and lots of quality stuff that I saw that I would love to come back and try. I had a good taste of their foods from their amazing flavorful taro chips to their Spicy Tuna and sweet Shoyu Salmon w classic seaweed. Would come back hehe.

Seafood restaurant
Local Tide is a cozy seafood spot located in an industrial area, offering a diverse selection of seafood sandwiches, bowls, and small plates. The menu features unique items such as pork fat-laced shrimp toast and a mayo-y Dungeness crab roll. One standout dish is the smoked salmon belly dip served with paper-thin potato chips tossed in house seasoning.
My Dad and I hightailed it here one evening for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The fish sandwich was light and perfectly prepared. It was very fresh, not greasy; you could enjoy the flavors of the fish and not the grease. I so enjoyed my sandwich. The restaurant itself is compact so be prepared to wait for a table. We were lucky to grab a seat not too long after ordering. The kitchen is partially open so you can see the chefs and cooks working their magic! Definitely get out of center city Seattle and head to Local Tide for a delicious fish sandwich!
Aaron S — Google review
I stopped by Local Tide on my way out of town for lunch on a Friday and it did not disappoint. The line out the door was qn indicator it was going to be good. I ordered the weekend crab roll and their clam chowder, and both were excellent. The crab roll was fresh, buttery, and packed with sweet dungeness crab meat, perfectly balanced with a soft toasted split roll. The chowder was rich and flavorful without being too heavy, full of tender clams and just the right amount of seasoning. The atmosphere was relaxed but lively, and the staff were friendly and attentive without hovering. It’s the kind of place that feels perfect for a casual Friday lunch but still special enough to bring someone visiting from out of town. Highly recommend if you’re craving quality seafood done right. I’ll definitely be back.

We had an absolutely delicious meal here and loved everything we tried! We ordered the rockfish banh mi, a flavorful dish of cod with spinach and rice, and some perfect fried oysters. Every item was excellent and cooked just right. I can definitely recommend this spot for fresh and well-prepared seafood.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️½ Google Maps Review – Local Tide (Fremont, Seattle) I wasn’t sure what to expect at Local Tide. The space is smaller than I imagined, but the line at the door instantly told me it was worth it. The handwritten menu on butcher paper is short but intentional, highlighting their signature Crab Roll — the reason many of us come. ✨ The Food: • 🦀 Crab Roll – Fresh, buttery, perfectly toasted bun. I added a touch of melted butter and their in-house sea salt, which transformed it into a crave-worthy bite. Honestly, it’s almost perfect even without extras. • 🍟 Salt + Pepper Fries – Absolutely the best I’ve had in Seattle. Crisp, seasoned just right, and taken to the next level with their garlic aioli “secret sauce” (thank you to the smiling server who tipped us off). • 🍔 Smash Burger – Small but mighty. Not ideal if you’re starving, but it’s a great snack-sized burger that delivers on flavor. • 🐟 Fish Sandwich – Think McDonald’s Filet-O-Fish, but elevated with quality ingredients and class. • 🍞 Bread – The star across the board. I’m not even a sandwich person, but their bread alone could convert me. 🍺 Drinks: I paired a crisp Japanese beer to start and finished with sparkling wine alongside the crab roll — highly recommend. 🌟 Overall: Local Tide earns its reputation. The service is friendly, the food is consistently fresh, and the vibe is casual-cool. It’s a must-try in Fremont. I’m holding back a half-star only because the space is tight and can feel rushed when crowded — but the food more than makes up for it. It had the same feel as New York. #SeattleEats #FremontFoodie #LocalTide #SeattleSeafood #SeattleFoodies #EatLocalSeattle #PNWFoodie #FoodieRadar #SeattleRestaurants #SeafoodLove

Got insanely lucky…only 2 people in line when we got there. The menu is simple but broad selection of seafood and even a smash burger on there, that is highly recommended. Ordered the blacked cod, the salt/pepper fries, salmon sandwich and clam chowder. We went with these recommendations per the staff. We were quickly seated at the community table and food wasn’t far behind. The ambiance is very hipster and clean. The blackened cod was one of the best pieces of fish I’ve ever had. The soup was a PNW version of clam chowder, not as thick or heavy as you would expect which was a pleasant change. Salmon was as fresh and refreshing. By the time we finished our meal there was a line of at least 30 people deep. A place that carries a line of this long is well worth it. I would gladly wait even if it 50 people deep. Can’t wait to go again. Thanks for the awesome service.

Everything was good, but the shrimp toast, crab roll, and fried fish sando were standouts. Counter service with limited seating. We heard you can order from the LT menu while at the brewery next door, so we may try that next time.
James K — Google review
Wow. Between 3 hungry hikers. We ordered 7 entrees. All phenomenal but the stand out items were the shrimp toast, the fried oysters and the rock fish bowl. Burgers were super flavorful and juicy. The salmon dip was also such a fun pub classic. Would make the trip here from NYC with this on my lists of must do”s and try”s!

Pike Place Chowder, located in Seattle's Pike Place Market, is a popular spot known for its traditional and specialty chowders. With a menu featuring eight different chowders including unique flavors like smoked salmon, lime and coconut, and seared scallop, this place offers a variety of options to choose from. The staff are accommodating and willing to let you sample before making your selection.
We got the soup sampler with four 6 oz. servings for $21.95. It was a great experience to try their four award-winning soups. Highly recommended if you can’t decide which soup to get. The staff was also really nice. The queue was well-organized and moved quickly. If you happen to be around Pike Street, definitely give it a try. My personal ranking of the soups: Seafood bisque → New England clam chowder → Seared scallop chowder → Crab & oyster chowder

This place is absolutely worth the wait! While there is a line up, it moves pretty quickly - the trickier part is finding seating if planning to dine in. Be sure to check the little Patio area directly across the counter as that’s a bit hidden. I ordered the classic New England Clam Chowder and it was so delicious. Creamy, flavourful, with plenty of clams and hearty potato. I had it in the bread bowl which was also a nice touch, the sour dough soaks up the soup on the inside so it’s nice and soft while retaining its crunchy exterior. Definitely worth a visit when at the Pike Place Market!

1) Busy, busy, busy, but there’s hope. lol. There are 2 lines, the line you see when you walk towards the restaurant is for people who wants to order and eat at their limited indoor and outdoor tables, or not aware of the second lines. 2) The 2nd line is for grab N go, if you place your order online, just scan the QR code from the picture that I uploaded for this review which is so much faster, for real. Then go find a spot near the pier and chow. First timers, there is no sign directing you to the GnG line. This secret line, j/k, is all the way in the back, back of the shop that is adjacent to Pike’s chowder. I had to ask multiple people, multiple times before finding it because there was a group tour blocking the GnG line. Now the food, Lobster roll - bland The 4 samplers - the container that came with it has no sign whatsoever but we were able to guess after reading the ingredients. It shouldn’t be a blind tasting, imo. Seafood bisque- too tomato-y. It’s ok. Seared Scallop chowder - on the sweet side. It’s ok. Crab & oyster chowder- too salty. Just ok. New England clam chowder - this is what they are known for and our favorite of all. All others are not worth the time, parking and wait. Highly recommended.

It was fine overall. I waited about 20 minutes in line before they opened and ordered the four-bowl sampler. Honestly, I couldn’t tell much difference between them — all were very thick and rich, maybe too thick. What I really missed was the seafood itself; each chowder had very little. The sourdough bread slices were delicious, and the service was great, but the chowder itself was just… okay.

We hit this place on our first day in the city. Arrived at around 3pm and everything on the menu was available. They did however run out of all sandwiches near 4pm, so do go early. ATMOSPHERE: Small corner shop with a few indoor seats and majority outdoor ones in a quaint courtyard setting. FOOD: Original Dungeness Crab Roll I had high hopes for the sandwich as its touted as Seattle's original. Unfortunately, it fell very short on the flavor side. There was no hint of any rich crab flavor or saltiness. It tasted like coleslaw with the texture of crab meat. The roll was crunchy and pretty soft. New England Clam Chowder This was damn good. Piping hot and chocked full of clams and potatoes. Medium thickness and super creamy. Topped it with oyster crackers which made it even better. SERVICE: You order, pay, and your food comes right out. Everyone was friendly & helpful. OVERALL: The chowder is the best I've tasted, better than stands in San Francisco.

Best clam chowder in Seattle and their award winning restaurant as well. Displayed in the restaurant are some of their trophies throughout the years they competed. We got the sampler and market chowder is our favorite. It’s creamy, you can taste the seafood and flavor they added. It has the right consistency for a chowder.Definitely a must try when in Seattle.
Maria F — Google review
It is a tourist trap. Food is good. Service is decent. It is expensive. I won't say the clam chowder at boudin in SF is any worse than this place. The 1 star atmosphere reflects a huge line up + very limited seating.
Cedric C — Google review
Even with the long line but the queue ran fast. I had been counting the days to try their chowder and i wasn't disappointed! Only that it's a bit pricey for me and portion was small. It's more like for testing and not for making you full. We got New England and Smoked salmon chowder. I'd love to try more things next time I'm there Oh but the seats weren't sufficient so might have to wait for a while to get your seat.

Elliott's Oyster House is a waterfront restaurant located on Pier 56 in Seattle, offering stunning bay views and a wide selection of oysters and sustainable seafood. Despite its touristy appearance, locals know it as a great oyster house with over 30 varieties of fresh, locally sourced oysters available daily at its 21-foot oyster bar. The restaurant also offers popular dishes like Alder-planked salmon with house rub, served with oven-roasted potatoes and market vegetables.
I don’t usually eat oysters, but this place completely changed my mind. The oysters are a must-try—sweet, fresh, and full of flavor. The restaurant is set right on the harbor, so you get a perfect waterfront view while dining. The vibe is casual yet classy, making it comfortable but still special. The servers are very knowledgeable about each type of oyster and happily guide you through the options. Service is attentive without being overbearing, which made the whole experience even better. A fantastic spot for seafood lovers, It was so good we actually came back the same day just to eat more oysters. Highly recommend!

This was my second visit to Elliott’s, located right on Pier 56 along the Seattle waterfront. As expected, the place was packed, but we lucked out and snagged three seats at the oyster bar for our party of three. Service started a little slow since David, the oyster chef, let us know we couldn’t order directly from him and needed to go through a server. But David went above and beyond, he tracked down our server right away and made sure we were well taken care of. Big shout-out to him! He was friendly, chatty, and full of great recommendations, even giving us a list of places to check out on our next trip while we mentioned we were visiting family. The oysters, as always here, were excellent and fresh. What stood out the most were the salty little Olympia oysters which are native to Washington and hands down our favorite of the night. They had the perfect briny, salty-sweet balance that was just chef’s kiss. We loved them so much, we ended up ordering more. If you’re a seafood lover, especially an oyster fan then Elliott’s is a must! They showcase a wide variety of oysters and highlight Pacific Northwest seafood beautifully. A true seafood classic and a Seattle icon!
Karen G — Google review
They offer 31 different kinds of oysters, which was a little overwhelming at first. Our server, Dante, was amazing and put together a curated selection for us to try, starting from the sweeter ones to the saltier ones. When we ordered another dozen, he helped us choose some new varieties based on our favorites from the first round. The oysters were incredibly fresh, and both of the mignonettes served with them were delicious. We also ordered a crab cluster, and it was SO good. My oyster rating: 1) Summerstone 2) Tubby 3) Taylor Virginica 4) Capital 5) Toke Point 6) Hammersley Inlet 7) Taylor Kumamoto 8) Kusshi 9) Alaskan Gem My fiancée’s top three: 1) Tubby 2) Taylor Virginica 3) Summerstone

Had a great lunch there with very delicious oysters. I Was the second person walking into the restaurant for lunch so I got seated right away. My waiter was attentive and friendly and his recommendations were spot on. Tried several kinds of oysters and loved them all. Will definitely come back again when I’m in town.

My wife and I walked in for dinner and the restaurant was clean and on the water and looked very nice inside with the wood and oyster selection. We told them we are visiting Seattle for our 15 year wedding anniversary. When we arrived to our table they had an anniversary card for us. Our server Edie was very knowledgeable of the oysters and a delight to have as a server. My wife’s halibut was grilled to perfection and my prawn and scallop risotto was absolutely divine. The manager gave us a free dessert for our anniversary. Overall, an outstanding experience and we highly recommend this restaurant.

Truly exquisite food, knowledgeable and friendly staff, great atmosphere, with gorgeous views. It does not get better than Elliott's. The server my group had on our most recent visit was Brad, and he was wonderful. His professional, friendly demeanor and impressive knowledge of the cuisine really heightened our experience. Some stand-out dishes included the halibut, clams, oysters, and the chocolate mousse (but you truly cannot go wrong with their menu. It's all fantastic). The pricing is appropriate considering the quality of both the food itself and the service. A must-stop for me any time I am in town.

Our waiter (forget his name-sorry- guy with beard!) Was outstanding! We sampled various oysters, Halibut and fish fry were perfect. We even doubled down on our drinks (and...we're not drinkers! Lol). Food presentation, taste and variety was just what doctor ordered! In the heart of watetfront and easy Uber drop off and pickup too!

Oyster happy hour is where it is at. They were delish and worth it! Service was a little too laissez faire for me. There were times when we wanted to order another drink or food and were left waiting. It was fine because we were not in a hurry, just something to note.

Very relaxing place Calamari was good specially with a chipotle honey sauce add a bit of lemon or lime juice and it was great. The clam chowder was great perfect body not too creamy not too watery, flavor on point. The crab cake sandwich w/ fried sweet potatoes was on point. A Delicious Way to End the Night with an Amazing View. Dinner here was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we sat down, we were greeted with warm, attentive customer service that set the tone for the rest of the evening. The atmosphere was cozy yet elegant, made even better by a stunning view that made every bite feel like a celebration. The food? Incredible. Bold flavors, generous portions, and every dish was plated beautifully. The standout for me was the salmon pasta—rich, perfectly cooked, and so flavorful it had me wanting more with every bite. It struck that rare balance of comforting and gourmet. This place delivered on all fronts, and I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I’m in town.

Duke's was delicious. We are from out of town, and the concierge at our hotel told us this was the place to go to for seafood. The oysters were fresh, as was the halibut and salmon. The blood orange margarita was delicious, and my husband enjoyed a local beer. The service was fun and personable as well. It was definitely worth the 30-minute walk!

Worth every penny. A little pricey but this was my favorite meal I had on my trip. The steamer clams and the salad special were wonderful. Fresh seafood and the seasonings were perfect. Great service and the view is beautiful. I did a lot of research trying to find a nice lunch spot around the city and this checked all of our boxes. Highly recommend and would go out of my way to come back.

Back in Seattle for work and made a beeline to Duke’s—my second ever visit after last year’s business trip, when the crab cake was so good I promised myself I’d return. Still incredible: sweet crab, a crisp golden sear, and just enough sauce to let the seafood shine. The classics here deliver as well. The chowder is rich and craveable (I did the bread-bowl—no regrets), and the fish & chips come perfectly flaky with a light, shatter-crisp coating and great fries. Save room for the Brookie—warm, gooey, and downright addictive with ice cream. Add in friendly service and relaxing marina views, and Duke’s is an easy recommend. Consistent, delicious, and absolutely worth a repeat visit.

The food was so good! Being from the east coast the crab cakes are different but not comparable. The Dungeness uncake was super good & sweet! Clam chowder was def something you'll need to try, the lobster version is just as great. & the crab dip was delightful. Oh, the bread - perfect. The lemonade, we had about 5 of those. Thank you to our waitress you were such a great sport for the refills.

We went for dinner. Me and my family. Welcoming servers who did their jobs very thoroughly. Dinner was made and served very fast. The only complaint i could possibly have is that the layout of the dining area was very compact and harder to move around. Picture is of the dukes cheeseburger, what i had. Burger itself was a 10/10

The best of this beloved Northwest chain sits in the SLU! Gorgeous views keep you entertained while perfection is created in the kitchen. The menu offers a wide range of seafood preparations that are presented thoughtfully. There is no getting around that the pricing is high, but worth the consistency and quality you'll experience. I highly recommend a visit!

Westward is a popular restaurant and bar located on the north shore of Lake Union, offering Mediterranean-inspired cuisine with a focus on seafood. The establishment features nautical-style decor and stunning views of the lake and cityscape from every seat in the restaurant. Guests can enjoy innovative dishes that combine Northwest and Mediterranean flavors, prepared using fresh ingredients and seasonal produce. The venue also boasts a large deck, fire pit, beach area, and a 150-foot dock for boat parking or kayaking.
First time at Westward for a birthday brunch over the holiday weekend. The outside seating and water views are great. I had the clam dip and crab roll which was amazing! They make the roll in house and it was almost like a croissant roll. Would highly recommend that one if you go for brunch. Excellent service all around as well.

Tasty brunch, and don't forget you're paying for the excellent waterside ambiance as well. Have been for dinner a couple times as well, and would recommend the pork chop if they have it.
James K — Google review
Sunday brunch starts at 10 and parking fairly easy across the street. Known for views and paddlers coming across. Food is eclectic and plenty of seafood options. Portions smallish for the price, large plates are small. Note that many dishes can be spicy, with fresno and jalapenos. Service first thing is slow and coffee is lightly brewed. But not bad, reservations with credit card needed. Check out Gasworks brewing next door.
James N — Google review
If i had to rate the food only, this would be a 5-star review. But for the overall experience, i can't ignore the outrageous prices. Two starters, two main dishes, desert and two drinks should not cost north of $300. I know this is Seattle and you pay for the ambience and view, but our table was a shared community table inside without direct water view. In addition to the already high prices, a 22% service fee was included in the bill. We asked if this covers the tip and were told - no. So we had to leave a tip in addition to that fee. This should really be around $130-150 plus tax and fee, but we paid $350 for two people. Otherwise, very good service, halibut was very good (but tiny for the price tag of $50). Both raw and grilled oysters were very good and so was the clams bowl.
Kirk I — Google review
I came here for oysters — they were small but very sweet and fresh! During happy hour, they were $3 each, and I ordered 25 of them for two people. However, I didn’t like that they charged extra for all the sauces, even though the oysters were already $3 each. They should also mention that ketchup is charged separately for the potato fries — I thought it was included as a house condiment. By the way, the server was friendly and polite, and I appreciated their great service, so I still left an extra tip even though a 22% service charge was already included in the bill. The sunset view was beautiful and made the experience even better.
G 3 — Google review
This was the most wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon. No mostly by locals if you wanna get some excellent oysters and enjoy a little bit of lake life. From here you can pull up on a boat or paddleboard in or of course drive like I did - parking is limited. The servers are friendly and prompt, and the oysters were fresh and delicious. We tried several different options and had a few cocktails. They make an excellent Aperol Spritz. We enjoyed the seating right next to the dock in Adirondack chairs not the easiest to eat from but definitely great for enjoying the view.

Highly Disappointing Lunch—Expensive, Unsatisfying Food, and Poor Availability My friend and I visited Westward last weekend for lunch, and unfortunately, the meal was far from satisfying. Considering Westward's reputation as a seafood establishment, we were immediately disappointed to learn that the Crab Roll was already sold out at 12:00 PM (noon). This level of unavailability for a signature seafood item is unacceptable, especially at the start of the lunch service. We ordered four dishes, none of which met the expected standard for a restaurant at this price point: * Spicy Clam Dip & Potato Chips ($18): This was the most shocking. It was essentially store-bought potato chips served with a very ordinary dip. Charging this much for such a simple, unremarkable item felt like a significant rip-off. * Chicory Salad($24): The salad was decent, but it was over-dressed with too much vinegar, making it overly sour and difficult to enjoy after a few bites. * Smoked Halibut Rillettes($36): The portion was incredibly small, and the dish itself was unfortunately very untastable (lacked flavor and appeal). * Braised Pork Birria($33): To make matters worse, we waited a shocking 40 minutes for this main course, only to find it was merely 'just-so-so' and barely edible. Overall, we paid around $150 for a lunch we simply did not enjoy. The combination of high prices, poor food quality, frustrating item unavailability, and the extremely long wait for a subpar main dish meant the experience was terrible. If I hadn't used dining credits from a credit card, I would be even more upset about this expense. I will not be dining here again and cannot recommend it.

The White Swan Public House is a lively waterfront restaurant located near South Lake Union, offering sustainable seafood, local beers, and artisanal cocktails. With a reputation stemming from its sister restaurants, the establishment promises top-notch service and high-quality cuisine. The happy hour specials are particularly enticing, featuring deals on oysters and champagne. Nestled within the Ocean Alexander Marina, this eatery presents a seasonal menu with delectable offerings such as crab hush puppies, halibut dishes, and seafood stew.
One of my local favorites on a sunny day. The location is right by the marina, and the menu has a mix of seafood and non seafood items, although you are better off sticking with the seafood. One person got the burger and it was a bit thin and not great. I got the seafood poutine with clams and bacon and it was delicious after our round of oysters. The fries are fried fresh and then topped with the clam poutine and it’s well seasoned and flavorful with tasty clams. Our cocktails were good, interesting combinations but a little on the sweet side. We sat outside with a view of the boats, and they do have outdoor heaters if it gets cold. The outdoor tables are wood and while it is enclosed it is not safe from the breezes off the water, so if you are there on a cloudy day, bring a blanket. Make reservations early, as it can get booked out on weekends and walk ins can take hours to get a table.

Love eating outdoors, this is a lovely spot near the water. Servers were friendly though did have to flag someone down, think we got overlooked/forgotten and it was pretty loud where we were seated with music and people. Never have I had such awesome corn though. Food was fresh and delicious as a whole. The tomato salad with beets also delightful. Prices weren’t cheap but not outrageous

TOURIST TRAP: My wife and I ordered the Jonah's Crab Claws, fish and chips, and hushpuppies. The crab claws were tough, had very little meat, and ultimately didn't have flavor that stood out. The fish was entirely unseasoned and over-fried. The hushpuppies are marketed as containing crab, cheese curd, and jalapeno. We concluded that the only way they could've really gotten this description was from an AI model trying to get people to order the dish. A more apt name would have been bread and butter hushpuppies. They contained none of what was advertised, but would be great for anyone looking for fried dough served on top of butter. I commend this restaurant for being able to earn such great margins on their food, and they are a testament to the fact that great location is all it takes to survive as a business. The drinks we ordered - both mixed drinks - were delicious but wildly overpriced. The service was great, so my wife and I almost felt guilty for how much we hated the food. We were very upset by what we had to spend to get what we got, but that could just be a Seattle thing...
Aaron S — Google review
This is a very casual lakeside restaurant that appears to be especially popular in the summer months. The outdoor seating is connected to the marina so it has the potential of being a nice atmosphere. The interior is quite dated and dark. We ordered cheeseburgers, crab claws and oysters. As the restaurant was busy we found service to be slow, especially for the initial order and food delivery, perhaps they don't have adequate staff. Also the restaurant seems quite dated and not maintained; it did not feel clean. The happiest diners we're outside with ample drinks and very casually dressed in bathing suits and tank tops. While the restaurant was recommended by friends, we can't see ourselves returning.
Rhicke J — Google review
Pretty much all food here is delicious. They have great happy hour prices, and the hush puppies are amazing. The drinks are also great. The atmosphere is wonderful, even being able to see sea planes landing and departing.

By the water with sea planes landing nearby. Great service, solid selection of northwest beers and a good menu including seafood poutine and a range of burgers and sandwiches. I had the fishwich which was well prepared and a bit messy. Great spot for an after work team thing or just a happy hour with friends.
Paul B — Google review
I work nearby in the industry and decided to take my wife after stopping in to pick up menus the other day. Not only are the staff attentive and kind, but when traffic was bad they held our reservation for a half hour, and *still* gave us table options when we arrived. In particular, the gentlemen with the beard who was at the host station ensured my drink was never empty, which with how slow bars can be, was certainly appreciated. Beyond the staff, the food was just as exemplary. Crab Hushpuppies to share, Seafood Stew for her and the 4-rack of lamb for myself (part of the new winter menu). A fantastic stop for cocktails and light food, or dinner with app, and we will certainly continue to recommend it!

Taylor Shellfish Oyster Bar is a family-owned establishment that has quickly gained popularity since opening its flagship location in Capitol Hill's Melrose Market. With additional locations in Lower Queen Anne and Pioneer Square, each outpost offers a unique menu and atmosphere, but all prioritize the freshest oysters and shellfish. The retail setting allows customers to enjoy raw oysters alongside cooked offerings such as Dungeness crab, geoduck clams, chowders, and oyster stew.
I make it a point to stop here each time I visit Seattle. The Geoduck sashimi is what keeps me coming back. The quality of the seafood here is amazing. If you enjoy West Coast oysters then this place is a treat. The peel and eat prawns, 4 for 14 dollars, are great. The wine list is small but mighty.

The five stars rating goes to the chef who prepared the dishes. I must say the seasoning of each dishes are done at the perfect level. The sauce of in the Caramelized Black Cod does not covers the freshness of the cod. Really can feel the chef really passionate in preparing the dishes.

Visited with 3 people for lunch — total came out to $125 (with 18.9% service charge included). A little pricey, but the quality made it worth it. Here’s what we had: 🦪 Oysters (2 each of 3 types): • Fat Bastard – Big, meaty, and bold in flavor. Briny with a creamy finish. • XS Pacific – Smaller, crisp and clean — refreshing and easy to eat. • Shigoku – Mild, plump, and buttery. One of the best of the bunch. • Kumamoto – Always a fan favorite. Sweet and smooth with a delicate texture. 🥣 Chowder + 1/4 Baguette Thick, creamy, and full of seafood flavor. Black pepper on top gave it a kick. The baguette was warm and crusty — perfect for dipping. 🥪 NW Seafood Roll Sandwich Generous portion of chilled crab and shrimp salad on a toasted roll, topped with roe and herbs. Served with crispy house-made chips. Super satisfying and light at the same time. 🥘 Steamers (Clams & Mussels) Cooked in white wine garlic broth — super fragrant. Clams were juicy, mussels tender. A must-try if you’re a shellfish fan. 🍺 Lager Cold and crisp, great pairing with oysters.

The best Oyster bar in Seattle!!! The food is really good here. I recommend mix oyster platter the “Shuckers Dozen”, A Dozen of Curated Oysters direct from Taylor's own Farms. Thus you could have taste the variety of the Oyster and order what you like the most later. The Mussels Classic Steamer together with the sourdough is the best. The best time to avoid peak is around 1:30-3:30 pm

Our waiter avoided us and never came to take our order. He finally said he'd be with us in a moment when I managed to make eye contact with him, but he still never came back. They weren't busy, he wasn't busy, it's a TINY joint. Finally, the other waitress had to come take our order and "apologize for her coworker" saying "she's not sure why he didn't take our order." Frankly, he never smiled once, had zero customer service skills, and needs a different job. We got charged over 18% service charge as well for 2 people. For what? Second waitress was kind and on top of it, but the initial experience was very off-putting. I think I'll stick with the Occidental Ave location from now on. I've noticed most restaurants in this particular area seem to have horrible service for some reason. Side note: Fat Bastard was delicious; Sumo didn't have much flavor.

The Crab Pot in Seattle is a laid-back restaurant and bar that's famous for its seafood served on tables covered with paper, where diners wear bibs and use mallets. Located on the vibrant waterfront, it offers a unique dining experience with its SeaFeast, an extravagant seafood spread featuring locally caught delicacies like king crab, snow crab, shrimp, clams, mussels, and more.
The seafood boil I had at The Crab Pot was the best! I love how it wasn't too saucy and it had the perfect amount of flavor. Our server was great at first but he stopped coming to our table so that was a bit inconsistent. Overall, I had the best time with family & friends! I'd definitely be back to try it again when I am in Seattle!

We had high hopes for The Crab Pot and spent around $200 for our visit. The service was truly excellent. Warm, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to the experience. Everything looked great, but the flavor was surprisingly mild, like they forgot the seasoning altogether. For a seafood spot, we expected a bit more punch. The portions also felt a little light for the price. We love trying new places, and while we appreciated the atmosphere and staff, the food just didn’t wow us this time.

Visited family in Seattle on a Sunday and this place was the only one that was left open in tourist area until 9 PM. It did not disappoint in having really good seafood. The portions were generous, and the staff is really nice. My dad is handicapped and they made sure to get us a good table for him to sit with his scooter. Our whole party was satisfied with our food. I recommend : Halibut tacos Scampi Fish and chips The food was very fresh and I love the theme. Great place for tourist to come and enjoy the fresh Washington seafood and views.

Friends of ours recommended this place. I do appreciate them, really. ATMOSPHERE: Located in the Miners Landing mall. It's a huge restaurant with indoor and enclosed outdoor seating. The only view is from the outdoor-like seating of the service sidewalk, and a moored ship bobbing up and down in its slip. FOOD: Sourdough Bread The standard free stuff. Came to the table hot, crunchy & chewy. Delicious! Alaskan Combo King, dungeness, and snow crab legs, head-on shrimp, clams, mussels, andouille sausage, corn on the cob and red potatoes steamed with a very mild salt flavor and paprika. The crabs were good, but the king tasted the best. The clams were super tiny and tasted okay. The shrimp and andouille sausages had no flavor. We're not a fan of mussels so they went uneaten (and you can't substitute.) The corn was good and there were way too many potatoes. Comes with warm butter for dipping. They have a minimum of 2 orders for all combos. The bucket of food gets dumped onto your table then the bucket is placed on the floor for your trash. You're given a wooden board, mallet, and bib to engage in your mission. SERVICE: We walked in without a reservation but got seated immediately. Our male server was friendly and pretty attentive. OVERALL: I'm coming to the realization that I'm over the table-dumping messiness, table-pounding, and sub-par seafood accompaniments like andouille sausage, mussels, and potatoes, in order to get my seafood fix on. From now on, it'll be strictly crab on a plate, and a shell cracker. Thank you.

I came here for dinner on Wednesday night and had a great time. I tried the sourdough and butter, salmon chowder, crab stuffed mushroom and crab scampi. Everything was delicious. The sourdough tasted amazing and fresh. The salmon chowder was delicious as well and it was full of vegetables. The crab stuffed mushroom mushroom was cheesy and tasty. Lastly, the crab scampi was one of the most delicious pasta. To drink, I tried the white sangria, which was very refreshing. The restaurant was located near the ferry in a very touristy spot but it is evident that it’s very popular seeing how full it was. The service was good, although there was some confusion about an order on the table. However; when she learned that I was sharing the pasta, she offered to serve it in two plates, which made the sharing easier. The decoration in the restaurant makes it unique and they have humorous souvenirs. If you’re in Seattle, this is definitely one of the restaurants to try.

The Crab Pot is a seafood restaurant with a few locations in the US known for its large selection and group meals where they dump the food on the table. This location is on the pier in Seattle inside the big building under the Ferris wheel. Parking around here is awful, so be ready to either pay a ton to walk a block or pay a little but walk 4-6 blocks. Inside, they probably have over a hundred tables and are usually pretty busy since it's a tourist attraction. Their menu is pretty big, with big emphasis on crab and salmon locally sourced. Prices are pretty high for the portions, which actually aren't bad, but you're paying for some of the greatest seafood and the allure of Seattle waterfront dining. The staff here are nice and friendly. The food is good, crab was delicious, and clams were pretty solid. Overall it's a fun place to go to od you're willing to pay between $60-$100 per person, a fun experience to crush your own crab legs with a hammer, and eat fresh seafood.

The food here was very fresh and of good quality, and the beer was absolutely amazing—I still find myself craving it as I write this review. As for the seafood, the Dungeness crab was delicious, but the snow crab was too salty and the shrimp felt under-seasoned. The portion of potatoes was overwhelming compared to everything else. The biggest downside, though, was the service. Our waiter only came by to take the order and drop off the food, never once checking on our table in between. It felt like he didn’t care at all, and at the end I realized they add a service charge even for two people—maybe that’s why there seemed to be so little effort put into service.

I stopped in here because the place looked poppin with a busy line, outdoor seating, and seafood / this is what I wanted to have in downtow I was with my daughter and noticed they had options on the menu she could eat that weren’t shellfish - so that pretty much sealed the deal for us. Once we were seated, it took about 15 minutes just for our waitress to come over and take our drink order. I also couldn’t help but notice she rubbed her nose with her hand, then grabbed my straw with those same hands. I get that we’re all human, but when you’re handling food and drinks, that’s not it. I ended up taking the straw out myself. And she never came back to ask me if I wanted more to drink. I asked how they cook their chicken and burgers, and she told me all the meat is cooked on the same grill at all times. Including the shellfish That’s concerning for anyone with allergies. On top of that, she never came by to check on us, ask how things were, or offer a refill. It’s a cute spot and the food was okay, but honestly, I have big concerns about the sanitation here. In hindsight, I should’ve left the moment I saw her touch her nose, but I didn’t. So this is on me

Ivar's Acres of Clams is a local chain known for its casual atmosphere and delicious seafood offerings. The restaurant was founded by Ivar Haglund, who started with an aquarium on the Seattle waterfront in 1938 before expanding to serve red clam chowder and fish n chips. The newly remodeled location features an expanded dining room and outdoor patio, making it a popular spot along the waterfront.
Awesome. I suggest making reservations. The fried halibut is top notch. Clams and mussels were delicious. The sour dough bread is a must have. The bowl of clam chowder is an excellent dish. Service was fast and efficient. Great views from window seats

The casual Fish Bar had a long line and we wanted our out of the country family to really have a terrific lunch experience. The weather was good ideal for sitting on the deck. The lunch menu had very affordable options and the clam chowder always is the best! We had such a wonderful meal!

Delicious seafood restaurant on the water. We ordered the bread basket, clam chowder, Cajun salmon and chips and halibut and chips. Everything was tasty. Possibly the best clam chowder I've ever had. The service was nice and friendly. They have various seating options. I went for midweek lunch. There was a 5 min wait for an inside table near the window. I would highly recommend.

The food was great. Delicious, fill your belly to the brim great. I had my fill of Northwest seafood on my visit and it was glorious. Service was spot on. But along with the great food and service were the amazing views. Just happened to be eating at sunset and you can’t ask for much more than what we got with the sun’s rays shooting over Elliott Bay while we ate. It was a great evening and sitting among all the history of the pier and Ivar Haglund, it really made it feel like an authentic Seattle experience. Love his motto too, “KEEP CLAM!”

Ivar’s Acre of Clams for the win people. Seriously, you can’t go wrong here. 1. Despite a full restaurant, we were seated quickly and I was shocked at how quickly our food came. 2. The food is very very good. The Seafood Trio is the bomb if you want fresh fish. 3. The staff were upbeat, friendly and really helpful with suggestions. Our server knew the menu top to bottom. 4. The Seattle Waterfront is absolutely awesome.

Right on the water and convenient. We're taking the ferry and had an hour so hopped over to get some food. They have a walk-up area with some seating right on the boardwalk, and then inside. They have casual Cafe eating and dining with inside tables that has a more limited menu, and then a full dining room with a full menu. If you want to do that, of course that takes more time. Service was great. Restaurant was very nice. Your view is great z

If you go, ask for Rafael! He has great knowledge of wine pairings and knows the menu well. The food is superb. Special mention for the escargot & crab bisque, though there's not much on this menu that would disappoint. Bring a date or a group...a good time guaranteed for all!

It’s a nice and upscale restaurant with friendly staff and service. We stopped there for dinner after our bubble planet experience. Food was delicious and decent amount. I only give 4 ⭐️because my son and his dad both said their stomach was a little unsettled after the raw oyster 🦪, but I was fine with everything. Definitely will go back for special occasions as the food is not cheap.

Sea Star in Bellevue is a true gem! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a modern yet relaxed feel that makes it perfect for both a casual evening out or a special occasion. The staff is consistently attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly, which really enhances the whole dining experience. The menu is outstanding—fresh, high-quality ingredients prepared with creativity and care. The seafood is always impeccably fresh, and the dishes are beautifully presented. Favorites like their perfectly grilled fish and inventive appetizers showcase just how much thought goes into every plate. The wine list and cocktail selection are also top-notch, with excellent pairings available for every dish. What really stands out about Sea Star is the consistency—you can count on an excellent meal and great service every time. It’s clear that the team here takes pride in what they do, and it shows in every detail. If you’re in Bellevue and looking for an upscale seafood experience that never disappoints, Sea Star should be at the top of your list.

Went here for a work dinner. Friendly staff and good food. They are an expensive seafood place and I rarely find the prices justified unless I’m extremely wowed by the taste. The beet/quinoa salad was good but the beets tasted somewhat off. Their other veggies and the entree were good. I mainly liked their chocolate truffle dessert. The truffles are quite large and very dense. I recommend sharing them with people!

I was here on 19th Feb for my birthday dinner with friends. The gesture we received upon arrival to our table was spectacular. I would recommend and definitely going back again.

Raffael is the greatest server ever! The atmosphere and staff were great. The dishes I had were a little on the sweet side. It was weird for me to have a sweet crab bisque. I wouldn't say the food was bad, just not to my taste. The lobster roll had a crap ton of lobster on it. I don't feel like the bread did the lobster justice. Drinks were wonderful, fries were delicious. Oysters were good. Good experience. I'd say give it a try. See if it is your taste.

Happy Hour visit for a big anniversary in the bar. It definitely had a crowd that skews two directions: 1. Afterwork meet ups 2. The retired set. So it was less cozy/romantic than the dining room portends, but we were definitely there early enough to get the freshly out of work and off the links crowd. Cocktails (needed to order a second Pegu Club) were great. Ahi tiradito was so delicious/dope. Oysters were fresh and light. Delish gougere in the bread service. Happy Hour knocks 4-6 dollars off every plate and 3-4 off each drink. They have gift certificates for the founder's restaurant group at Costco, so that's an option, but I do think taking it 10-30% easier on the brand tie ins and the guys name would make me more excited about returning. I get being proud of your work, but the emphasis on one dude when there's a huge team of amazing people making the spirits and food, feels passé and frankly gauche.

AQUA by El Gaucho is a sophisticated steakhouse that promises an unforgettable dining experience with its exquisite menu featuring high-end classics, including succulent Angus beef and fresh seafood. Nestled along Alaskan Way, this gem boasts stunning views of Elliott Bay and the majestic Olympic Mountains, making it a perfect spot for both casual diners and special occasions. The restaurant is particularly renowned for its grilled Chilean Sea Bass drizzled with rice wine oyster sauce, showcasing their commitment to sourcing only the finest ingredients.
This is one of those places that goes out of their way to make you feel special. The staff was kind and attentive, took care of things without asking, and were all above and beyond. We were celebrating my wife’s birthday and without a doubt they gave us the best seat in the house. Bob was knowledgeable, fun to talk to, but also let us have space to enjoy the moments. The details that went into making our night just that much better were certainly noticed, and very thoughtful. The food was excellent. I cannot tell you how often I go somewhere and order “medium rare” and get a medium. Not here, perfectly cooked steak with a great crust. Salmon cakes were fantastic. Tuna was incredible. We are looking forward to coming back for a great happy hour menu as well as celebrating more special occasions soon.

What an incredible dining experience! Aqua by El Gaucho completely exceeded our expectations. The setting is stunning — right on the water with unbeatable views, especially at sunset. This was a special night for our family. Our son tried raw oysters for the first time, and they were incredibly fresh — a perfect introduction! Both he and my husband ordered the lobster tail, served with creamy mashed potatoes and tender broccolini — everything was cooked to perfection. I had the halibut paired with zucchini, and it was light, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Our server, Leann, was absolutely amazing — warm, attentive, and made us feel so well taken care of. The service alone makes this spot worth visiting. Yes, it’s on the higher-end side, but the atmosphere, exceptional food, and top-notch service make it well worth it. Highly recommend for a memorable night out in Seattle!

This was recommended to me by my friends and I’m so glad we scored a reservation. Our Uber driver got a little lost, but pro tip: if you’re heading here just map Pier 70 and you can’t go wrong. The restaurant sign can be deceiving, it’s actually towards the end of the pier towards the water to the left . From there, you should be able to see the sign for the restaurant. It sits on Pier 70 waterfront that adds to the dramatic, scenic setting over Elliott Bay with views of Mt. Rainier, the Space Needle, and the city skyline. The interior leans upscale with modern-classic touches, and live piano music adds an elegant, romantic vibe. You can instantly tell this is the type of place people come to celebrate. I was taking photos when James, the general manager, came right over and asked how he could help. Without me even asking, he knew I wanted to capture the sunset. He personally unlocked the outdoor deck gate so I could step out and get the perfect shot. That’s when he introduced himself and shared that he’s originally from Santa Monica, now recruited to Seattle. This restaurant is so lucky to have James. He’s the type of manager who’s professional, personable, and not afraid to roll up his sleeves. I kept noticing him throughout the night helping the staff, delivering food, and checking in on guests. That kind of leadership sets the tone for the entire restaurant. Bob was our server and he also did an amazing job. Even with how busy the night was, he never once forgot about us. He coursed everything perfectly, even though we ordered all at once, and gave us excellent recommendations. My boyfriend and I split everything, which was perfect for tasting: Passion Mojito– strong but really good!Sancerre Wine– crisp and perfect with seafood. Caesar Salad- classic, done right. Grilled Spanish Octopus- charred just enough for a smoky edge, paired with romesco sauce such perfection. Alaskan Black Cod- buttery, tender, caramelized edges with crispy leeks that added the best crunch. Sauteed Foraged & Cultivated Mushrooms- earthy and meaty, a must if you love mushrooms. Broccolini- nothing fancy, but still tasty. Baileys Chocolate Caramel Bread Pudding (James’s pick!) – OMG, demolished in 5 minutes! Every single staff member we encountered was attentive, friendly, and on point. Between James going above and beyond and Bob’s flawless service, the hospitality here is truly top-notch. If you’re looking for a date night restaurant or somewhere to celebrate a special occasion in Seattle, this is it. Aqua by El Gaucho checks all the boxes, unforgettable food, a killer view, and people like James who make you feel like a VIP.

We’ve been coming to Seattle every July from Orlando for a Dental Symposium for the past 15 years, and it’s become our tradition to go to El Gaucho first, then Acqua. From the moment you walk in, the staff is incredibly welcoming. Yesterday, we had a reservation, and as soon as we arrived, they offered us a glass of champagne while we waited just a few minutes for our table. Our server, Gabriel, was fantastic, and the sommelier was excellent as well. We’ve celebrated our anniversary here for the past 10 years. The food is always amazing, and the service is outstanding. What more can I say? I recommend this place 180%!

I don't know why it's taking me forever to rate this place but I was just reminded from Google after attending an event here most recently. 😂 I attended the grand opening which was beautiful. It has become one of my favorite spots, no matter the season. The service truly stands out; it embodies a sense of traditional hospitality that is becoming rare. While just a couple dishes could use some improvement, it’s still much better than many fine dining options I've experienced on the east side (Bellevue). I absolutely enjoy my time every time and am often particularly impressed by the variety of wines and liquors offered. Each visit makes me feel valued and special, thanks to the attentive staff. I've also attended several events at Aqua, and they have consistently been well-organized and memorable. Overall, it’s a stunning place with a cozy atmosphere in the rain and on sunny days too.

It has become a popular spot for seafood enthusiasts, offering breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch with Pacific Northwest favorites made from fresh market produce. The restaurant's commitment to sustainability is reflected in its seasonal menu that highlights dishes like crab fritters, charred octopus, and seared sole using local ingredients.
This is my 4th time here, they just rotated their menu. All the food we had was delicious. I especially loved the mussels! I normally don’t eat mussels but their mussels are fresh and flavorful. Our group had people that are vegan, gluten free, and dairy free, they were able to accommodate all of us.

Food was fantastic especially the duck and the roasted potatoes. The duck was cooked perfectly and the roasted potatoes were extremely crispy and flavorful in a large shareable portion. Cocktails were also great. Open kitchen style so you are watching as they’re making the food! Great service and ambiance. Dessert menu was lacking in my opinion but I have a sweet tooth.

We came here last night (Tuesday) before an event in the building next door, and the place was absolutely packed. Still, the atmosphere, the food, and especially the service were just outstanding. Our server, Hector, deserves special recognition. Despite the full house, he took amazing care of us — clearing plates right away, keeping our water glasses full, and always checking in at just the right moments. Honestly, his professionalism and attention to detail could be a model for service everywhere. It’s so rare to experience that level of care in the U.S., and he absolutely nailed it. We started with oysters — fresh, flavorful, served with an excellent mignonette and a refreshing cucumber–celery–style chutney that was such a pleasant surprise. Then we had hamachi crudo with a peach-based sauce — light, fruity, perfectly balanced. Huge compliments to the chef for that one. And the branzino… (full fried fish) what a showstopper! Crispy on the outside, juicy inside, seasoned to perfection — honestly one of the best fish dishes I’ve ever had in America. I’ve already recommended Shaker + Spear to my friends, and I’ll definitely be coming back.

Foods are really really good, especially love the duck! Also, it’s unexpected there are two legs for the dish! The scallops are fresh, the mussels as tasty and the hamachi with the apple is excellent! It is rather interesting that the waitress informed us that we will have to order everything at once, and we cannot order the appetizer first. That’s a bit strange!!

We came here for a team dinner and enjoyed ourselves. The food was very very good and the service was decent. However the service was rather slow. It took us well over an hour to get our food, but when it was served it was delicious! I would recommend but go early and order quickly then sit back and relax.

We ordered the fish, duck and mushrooms. Fish was amazing. Duck was still good and tender but the mushrooms were covered in salt and fried so much you could not taste the mashroom flavor. Do not recomend this one. Also the tables were so close to each other if was awkward to talk because you could hear all conversation of the couples from both sides.

Market Grill is a bustling counter-serve spot located in the lively Pike Place Market. Despite the challenge of navigating through the busy market, visitors are rewarded with a must-try dish: the World Famous Blackened Salmon Sandwich. This delectable creation features grilled baguette filled with rosemary-lemon mayo, fresh tomato, caramelized onion, lettuce, and perfectly spiced wild-caught salmon.
Super fresh and delicious! Totally worth the price! We order one salmon & prawns both with platter which with brown rice, salad and grill bread. They use big fire to roast the sea food without any source which have the seafood fresh flavor jump out! The staffs are so nice. They have only a few bar seats but you can take out and there are lots of places to sit down to eat. Recommend to go Water front view point seating area inside the market and a few steps from Market Grill! A corner window sea view is awesome.

So we were fortunate enough to come by this place because when we arrived to the marketplace it was during the transition from lunch time to dinner time. Meaning that a lot of the restaurants were starting to close in order to get themselves ready for again the next set of patrons at night. The service was great, the person behind the register really helped us understand what were the popular items of the grill and even gave her a recommendation to make sure that we each got our own clam chowder because it is what they were known for. We also decided to grab a prawn sandwich and salmon sandwich. Of the two of them we actually enjoyed the prawn sandwich more because the seasoning really enhanced the freshness of the shrimp. The salmon sandwich was good, for us though it did need a little bit more seasoning after having the comparison of the prawn sandwich. The one call out regarding the atmosphere is you are definitely going to be seeing a lot of foot traffic which means a lot of fun people watching. The one thing that was a little hard for me was being so close to a fish market/fish stand. In general it would not have been such a distraction with the smell, but again we arrive when things are starting to shut down so they were hosing down and using a bit of cleaning products to get the area disinfected. So that smell did throw off my appetite just a little bit. Would definitely come back here because that chowder was amazing and we really enjoyed the prawn sandwich.

I am not sure how this place got 4.6 stars to be honest. Maybe it was better in the past, but it’s very mediocre at best. We had the blackened salmon. The fish was well cooked but seasoning was very mild. The onions added no flavour. It was too wet and the bread was soggy. Overall, not sure what the hype is about. If you want to say you tried this fish, go for it - but don’t expect anything exciting. Service was friendly and kind, that I’ll give 5 stars.

Stopped by today (7/2/25) at 2:30PM. There was a line but I was expecting that and that’s usually a good sign. The line moved fast for only having three workers. I ordered the small 6 oz Clam Chowder and the Blackened Salmon Sandwich totaling $32 (with tax) plus a tip on top of that. The chowder was good and I ate all of it but I’ve also had better. It had more of a “pot pie soup” color and taste than the usual creamy white chowder you normally see. The salmon Sammy was good. First time ordering a salmon sandwich. Usually I eat my salmon with rice or veggies. Surprisingly this salmon Sammy was good. Had a nice flavor combination from the onions, lettuce, tomatoes, and rosemary mayo. It went well with the grilled bread. I’d order the sandwich again. However I felt that $23 just for a sandwich (didn’t come with slaw on the side) was expensive considering the salmon wasn’t a huge size. If you want more food for your buck I think you’re better off ordering the salmon platter which comes with slaw, rice, salad and garlic bread for $23. The guy at taking orders was extremely nice and efficient. He kept the line moving. The lady cook on the grill didn’t mess around. Straight face all business but you can tell she’s a bad ass. She was serving up them orders like hot cakes. And there was a food prep guy in the back chopping and prepping to keep the ingredients coming. It’s a very small establishment with minimal seating. I ended up taking my order to go and ate it in my hotel room because I was pressed on time to catch a flight. Overall, great service, good atmosphere, and good food. I’ll be back again!

We stopped here for lunch and everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. My wife got the seafood stew which was gluten-free and I got the fillet special with coleslaw. The sourdough bread that came with the meal was also delicious grilled to perfection. Not a lot of seating in the area and it can get busy and loud, but that is what you expect when it’s in Pike Place.

Sushi Kashiba is a renowned sushi and omakase restaurant located in Seattle's Pike Place Market. Founded by Shiro Kashiba, who trained under Jiro Ono, the restaurant offers high-end sushi in a chic setting with stunning water views. With its prime location overlooking the iconic market, Sushi Kashiba is celebrated for serving some of the freshest fish available.
My wife and I did the omakase experience here for our anniversary and I highly recommend it. The sushi quality was exceptional, and each dish was prepared with very high quality fish and perfect preparation. The restaurant setting itself is very nice, and offers great views and an upscale atmosphere. It's location is tucked away in a little plaza, so it can be a bit confusing when you're following your phone gps to get there. The chefs were very professional, but it was little loud In the restaurant and the chefs were quiet, so it was a bit hard to hear them when they explained each dish. It's also a fairly formal set up, different from the more informal omakase experiences I'm used to in San Diego. The wait staff was attentive to our needs and knowledgeable of the sake menu.

We highly highly recommend Sushi Kashiba, not only because of their top-notch sushi but also their outstanding outstanding customer service. Sushi Kashiba in our opinion, it’s the best sushi restaurant in the U.S., even better than many in Tokyo (I’m Japanese, so I can say that!). We live on the East Coast, and whenever we visit Seattle, we always go — this time, two nights in a row. Chef Shiro Kashiba, a long-time sushi legend in the U.S., is still very hands-on. One night, he was serving sushi to six customers at the sushi bar, while younger chefs were serving two or four customers. On another night, he was cleaning the table and the floor himself!! He really leads by example. We can see why their sushi and service are so outstanding. The sushi was so good my wife forgot her glasses at the restaurant. She was “sushi high” (we don’t drink, so it wasn’t alcohol!). We realized it the next morning before getting on the airplane. she called Kashiba from NYC. The manager told her the glasses were already on the way — and they even would not to let us pay for shipping cost. That kind of service, on top of world-class sushi, deserves more than 5 stars. Thank you, Kashiba — we can’t wait to come back!

Came alone for an omakase at Sushi Kashiba in Seattle. Omakase during dinner is available at 5pm and 7pm. The portions are huge — the first omakase ever that made me feel completely stuffed. Even without ordering extra, I was already full. 20 pieces of sushi plus a hand roll, tofu, and soup. Overall, the food was very good and matched my expectations for the price ($190 + tax + 20% service charge). Everything in the photos was great except the salmon, the texture felt a bit watery and loose, with little flavor. The course order was interesting — it started with a toro hand roll and ended without any dessert after the tamago. Service pace-wise, everyone at the sushi bar starts at the same time. There were five chefs, each serving about four to five guests, so you don’t have to wait ages between pieces. The overall rhythm makes it a good spot for solo dining — I was there about 80 minutes from start to finish. The chef mainly introduced each ingredient and asked a few polite questions but didn’t chat much. I could text friends in between and the next sushi would arrive — not awkward at all to dine solo at the counter. On the flip side, if you’re coming here for a date or to chat, it might feel a bit fast-paced. The location is super convenient, right next to Pike Place Market. The restaurant has a few ocean-view tables where you can see the market’s big red sign and a bit of Puget Sound behind it (the sushi counter faces away from the view). I didn’t take photos inside as there were other diners, but you can guess the view from photo showing the exterior. As for the total, with a $5 hot tea, it came to $258 all in. Highly recommended that for solo diners.

We had a wonderful omakase experience here, a truly great night! The fish was fresh and flavorful, with our favorites being the Toro, shrimp, and mackerel. The sake paired beautifully with the meal, though we would have loved to enjoy it in a traditional sake cup to make the experience feel even more authentic. Overall, highly recommended for sushi lovers

Came here on a Saturday night at about 7 PM set up the cocktail bar for one and the very professional bartender took my order for some à la cart. Sushi and I ordered about 14 pieces of premium sushi and two bottles of carbonated water and definitely the “nigiri sushi” by the piece was premium and it was delicious and at the end I think the bill ended up to be about $250 including tip so if you’re looking for some sushi in the Pike market area, this is the spot, so give it a shot, but be prepared to pay the premium price…keep up the good work and thank you and Arigato

Absolutely unforgettable omakase experience at the chef’s counter. Every piece was incredibly fresh (even alive just before it was served). and prepared with such skill and care. We felt so lucky to snag a last-minute reservation on OpenTable just two hours before and skip the walk-in line. From start to finish, the service and quality were unmatched.

Omakase was a good value even at $160 at the table (not at the sushi bar) in April. Impeccable service and super unique appetizers that I haven't seen anywhere else. Servers that have tremendous knowledge of the menu and well versed in the flavor profiles offered. Super filling and didn't need to order anything extra although we ended up splitting The NY Times Kashiba's Black Cod which was probably the most disappointing part of the experience. It was good but not really what I would consider excellent or award winning. My recommendation is to stick to the omakase.

Ive never given a 1 star to any restaurant...never in my life disappointed with a high end sushi restaurant. As a born and raised asian who's been to so many sushi places around the world, this place isnt even close to being called a good sushi place. It's probably all about presentation and reputation of the chef here and nothing more on sushi. They are so basic and way over price. Sushi in Texas tastes better than this

Ohana Belltown is a sushi restaurant with an upbeat setting in downtown Seattle. It offers clean and comfortable surroundings with a nice ambiance, making it the perfect spot for sushi lovers. The food is excellent, especially the Shogun Bento which includes everything from the rice to the seaweed salad. The service is speedy and good, so think twice before ordering sides.
A solid place. Since it was my first time in Seattle, I was surprised how many places close early. I normally expect cities to have options for drinks and eating well into the night, but most places were closed, and this place was one of the only ones open. Guess Seattle is a sleepy city after all!
Dylan — Google review
Ohana is a Hawaiian themed restaurant in Belltown. It's easy to get to but parking in this area can be pretty difficult to find, unless you're willing to pay for a parking lot spot. Once inside they have over a dozen tables and booths on top of a bar area as well. Their menu is a good size, with a sushi menu on top of their normal food. They have good quality fish and their prices are on pace with other Seattle sushi places, with portion sizes being pretty decent as well. The staff here is always amazing, whether you're here for food, a drink or some late night karaoke. Overall this is a fun place to go eat at or go out to at night as well with groups of friends.

My sister and I went for lunch yesterday, a Sunday, and had a wonderful experience. The decor is super cool and fun. The service was excellent. The food was delicious and the drinks strong. Highly recommend!
Tena V — Google review
Visited this place, and honestly, it was just okay. The food is edible, but where’s the “wow” factor? I wanted something that’s a feast for the eyes too, but not here. Ordered a burger — it fell apart in my hands, and the beef was a bit tough. My bad for not specifying the doneness, but they didn’t ask either, just brought whatever they had in the kitchen, I guess. The sushi was another story. Two of us ordered different dishes, and they brought everything mixed up on one plate! Like, we had to sort it out ourselves. Felt a bit disrespectful, honestly. Overall, this place is a solid meh — we didn’t starve, thank God, but there’s no joy or reason to come back. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Seattle’s got spots with way better flavor and presentation.

Fun Hawaiian food. I stopped in for lunch and enjoyed my time. The tiki inspired decor is fun. There’s a good amount of space for dining as well as a bar in the back. They had lots of good looking food options, lots of sushi available. I had an enjoyable musubi sampler. Drinks were well made too. Great choice for food and drink.

Super fun vibe and and really tasty food! Not many Hawaiian food options in the city. Loved the kalua pork and curry + chicken katsu. Really great portion sizes and really welcoming environment. I would and will definitely go again :)

This is a fun place to go for sushi and island type food. The Kahlúa pork was very good and the sides with it were tasty and well portioned. We had the pork and cabbage with a side of rice and potato macaroni salad all very good.

Nestled in the heart of West Seattle, the Seattle Fish Company is a charming neighborhood fish market that also serves as a delightful restaurant. This spot is perfect for seafood lovers looking to indulge in fresh catches without breaking the bank. With an inviting atmosphere, you can enjoy everything from steamed and grilled dishes to crispy fried options while surrounded by ice-cold Dungeness crabs.
The dining area is separate so you could enjoy foods right here. You could also purchase some raw seafood home. The chowder is saltier than my preference but it tastes good. All seafoods tastes fresh. Highly recommend!
Nga L — Google review
We definitely love this place. The fish and chips are delicious and crunchy and not oily. I really recommend mixing it up. We got COD halibut and popcorn shrimp though I do think they could’ve put a little extra popcorn shrimp otherwise it was delicious. The clam chowder has been one of the best I’ve had and the Poboy sandwich was absolutely delicious and not too big so it was a perfect size.
Jorge R — Google review
We’ve eaten here a few times when visiting Seattle. Their fish is always fresh and high quality. We shared a Captains Plate with halibut, cod, and clams. Comes with fries. Portions are generous. We had clam chowder as well but I was so hungry I forgot to snap a picture. I will say it’s one of my top 5 favourites! If you love seafood this is a great place with reasonable prices. They also sell all type of fresh seafood you can take home. It would be nice if they offered mushy peas at the seafood restaurants here. I’m not British ( I believe the mushy peas originated in the UK) but I love them with fish!

Perfect portions. Extremely friendly and welcoming staff. The restaurant atmosphere is exactly what we were looking for. Really thankful we were able to enjoy a great meal here.

Defunitely high quality fish & shellfish market. Great prices on grilled and fried dinners. Everyone loved the Dungeness crabcakes, Halibut, Cod and Salmon. Sides good. Excellent cold beers. Promptly cooked & served hot. Our host was John, who gave excellent advise on selections. Thanks!

Food overload. So many good choices. Really liked the salmon chowder. Thought the clam chowder was over peppery. Cod was great. Shrimp taco while a bit of spice was fantastic. Wasn't as happy about the fish taco, but it was the size of 3 tacos. Couldn't move when we left.

Restaurant
Crawfish House is a family-owned restaurant in Seattle that offers a cozy and vibrant atmosphere. The decor features nautical elements and Louisiana-inspired quotes, creating an old-school seafood shack vibe. This spot stands out for its unique blend of Vietnamese flavors with traditional Louisiana-style crawfish boils, featuring local crawfish known for their larger size and cleaner taste.
Most likely THE BEST seafood boil in the city! If you're not into seafood, then no problem! They have other items too and their fried food game is on point! The staff here is always friendly and they're always running specials! If you get the seafood boil, you definitely have to have the tangy sauce!

This place was immaculate. They gave me two free crawfish because I had never had them before and wanted to try. The crab was massive and so cheap. They gave it to me right off the boil so it was still hot and perfect. I had the garlic butter boil and it was delicious. My husband got the chicken sandwich. He said the fries were worth it. Edit: they close early. I’m remaking this review months later to let Yall know that they close way before 11

Last time I was here was before the pandemic. I still swear their burgers are the best for miles around and affordable !

This was the only place open on a Sunday night getting home late, so we decided to give it a try. We ordered inside and took our food to-go which was no big deal for them to accommodate. The inside decor was oddly chaotic but in a somewhat charming way? My male friend said the bathroom was very weird. If that even makes sense. My fried shrimp was okay, though I wish it was more seasoned as it tasted kind of bland. My friends enjoyed their broil bags and the wait for our food wasn’t too bad. Overall not a bad last resort if you’re in a bind around the area, though wouldn’t be my first choice.

Yummy crawfish. Probably will do a 4 spicey next time. Fried stuff was also good.

Parking was a little tough ( street parking) Food came out in a reasonable time. The place is a little understaffed but wasn't too busy for a Friday. The Alaskan king crabs was worth the price. I got the pacific crawfish, and it was ok. I enjoyed the clams. They were flavorful for sure. Add that lime. It makes a huge difference . Thai tea 1/5, don't get it. The corn was a nice touch. The sausage was 2/5, a bit salty. With seafood, 1.5lbs per person is a good measurement since clams and crabs are shell heavy. The place provides bibs, a roll of paper towel and a box of gloves.

The service is amazing. Please go check them out. Their food is good, reasonably priced, and the service is some of the best in the entire city. I swear!

Ray's Boathouse is a long-standing dockside restaurant and cafe located in the Ballard neighborhood along Shilshole Bay, offering stunning views of the water and mountains. Originally starting as a coffee and bait shop in the 1930s, it has evolved into one of the best seafood restaurants in Seattle.
Food tastes absolutely amazing. It's a fancy place by the water, you can reserve a table for special occasions and they will prepare your table with little card. I went for my anniversary with my boyfriend, it was cute. However, we were a little bit disappointed by the food portion compared to the pricey cost. At the end, it's a good place with delicious food, sea view and friendly staff. They're all so caring and professional.

While visiting Seattle, we were in search of classic, non-fried seafood with a great waterfront setting—and we found exactly that at Ray’s Boathouse. Ray’s delivers delicious, high-quality seafood with breathtaking views that’ll have you planning your next visit before you even leave. The service is top-notch, the staff are genuinely welcoming, and the extensive wine list complements the menu perfectly. If you can, reserve a table by the water and time your visit for sunset—it’s an experience you won’t forget. Parking can be a bit tight, and while they do accept walk-ins, reservations are highly recommended as the place gets busy. Come for the food, stay for the view. You won’t regret it. Thank me later.

We came here from our hotel in downtown, was a longer drive than expected. Decided to order the bread plate (not included but worth it) , the bacon wrapped scallops, arugula salad, fish and chips, and salmon. Scallops were not bad but we probably liked that dish the least. The other three were really good!Fresh ingredients. Yummy sauces, well presented, service was good. Ambience was mediocre but the view is quite nice! For dessert we ordered cookies pannacotta and coffee (all of these were just mediocre).
Steven S — Google review
I absolutely loved the Monae (non alcoholic drink). The seafood were ok - quite pricy for the portion and the taste. None of the fish was seasoned well and was relying on the sauce to get flavor, but it’s not a good balance and does not bring out the fish’s natural flavor. The albacore with pear puree was so overpowered by the sauce and the texture was overpowered by nuts on top. The ambiance was absolutely great. The service was ok.
Connie C — Google review
Amazing food, service, and atmosphere. We had a blast dining here and enjoying the view of beautiful sunset. We got oysters, arugula salads, mussels, bacon-wrapped scallop and octopus as appetizers. The sauce of mussels is curry-like with a hint of tom yum soup, which is really special. For the mains we got applewood sablefish, halibut and ribeye. We loved every single dish and sablefish is my personal favorite. Highly recommended!

If you’re looking for that perfect mix of elegance, ocean breeze, and unforgettable flavors, Ray’s Boathouse is it. Nestled on the Ballard waterfront, this elevated dining experience offers a scenic view of Seattle’s coastline that transforms into pure magic at sunset. Picture this: a fiery orange sky melting into the sea. Yes, it’s that breathtaking. The appetizers were a sensory joy—beautifully plated and bursting with flavor. Every course felt like it was composed by a culinary artist. And the drinks menu? Practically a liquid novel. I dabbled in margaritas, mimosas, and whiskey—don’t judge, it was a vibe. Each sip just elevated the evening even more. The ambiance, the food, the drinks... everything was exceptional. I left not just full but fully impressed. I’m already plotting a return to explore the rooftop on the second floor. Trust me, this spot is an easy yes for a date night, girls’ night, or “just because” indulgence.

We enjoyed delicious happy hour cocktails at the bar while waiting for a (granted) very specific seating request. Our server (Courtney, if I'm remembering correctly) was delightful - solid suggestions, friendly, helpful, kind. The food was appropriately portioned and really tasty. We never felt rushed, even though they were very busy. Nice to have a reliable place to take out of town friends who come to visit.

Absolutely a Seattle staple for a nice, romantic dinner or a special occasion. The seafood is premium, especially the sablefish and salmon. The risotto is fabulous also. Their service is top notch from the hostess to the wait staff to management. We were well taken care of throughout the evening. We sat outside and we were pampered and never rushed. Great experience!

Burien Fish House is a casual eatery in Burien known for its delicious fish tacos, sandwiches, and chowder. Originally starting as a food truck, the restaurant has grown to become a popular spot for some of the area's best fish and chips. While they don't offer catering services, they were able to accommodate a large order by providing individual taco orders and containers of seafood chowder for a team lunch. The customizable tacos were individually boxed for easy distribution.
So glad I decided to try this place out. I got the 2 piece halibut with panko crust. It was ready very quickly, the pieces of fish were huge, and it was so hot and crispy. Will definitely be stopping by again next time I'm in the area. This was a to-go order, and the woman I got the order from was so friendly.

Upon stepping in the restaurant, a wafting sensory overload of an airy sillage of fish smell fulfilled the the whole atmosphere, but what can you expect from the "Fish House" of which the establishment was named. I was greeted politely and ordered the Halibut fish & chips and seafood chowder. Both were delicious. The chowder was super thick when i prefer my chowder just a little creamier and soupy. I will try the halibut tacos next.
Sean D — Google review
I must say I am really blown away that this place has a 4.6 rating. I’ve given them a few tries at this point, and I seriously want to love it! I really love that they have more options than your typical seafood fast food. I believe I’ve ordered three times now, and always gotten the cod fish and chips with the beer batter. The fries taste good and have the perfect crisp to them, even after bringing them home. I bet they would be even better if I ate them fresh. Looks like their tartar is made in-house and it’s decent, they appear to use good quality fish. One of the biggest reasons I tried this in the first place is because you’re hard pressed! to find places that do beer batter on fish in the PNW. They are seriously few and far between. So when I saw this place did beer batter, I was thrilled! Now I’m starting to wonder if beer batter just isn’t very popular out here? I mean it with the UTMOST SINCERITY when I tell you that their beer batter has absolutely ZERO!!! flavor, whatsoever. I literally think they sprinkle black pepper in there, and that’s it. It’s criminal how bland it is. My hearts not ready to give up on this place and if I have a better experience, I’ll be happy to update this. However, I would love to see some improvement on that while I explore other menu options.

This place was amazing. The flavor of the food was way different from back home. I think the clam chowder was the best thing I got. It wasn't creamy at all more it was more of a soup base item. It even had shrimp in it which is something I've never tried in a clam chowder. This place deserves a rating of 10 stars. If I ever find myself in Seattle again, I'm definitely visiting again.

The owner definitely overcharges. I don't mind paying more money for items. It's a convenience store but they're conveniently ripping you off. $10 for the coffee creamer? My understanding is that convenience stores will always charge a premium for their products, but double or even triple the price is ridiculous. Stay away!

The store is very very small. The staff is nice. It has new owners now that open on Saturday and Sunday now. The inventory has gone down quite a bit. I used to be able to get bread, tuna, and other things needed to finish making a meal. Now the inventory is basicly drinks and snacks. They used to make hot meals for lunch and make sandwiches. They will sometimes still make a sandwich in the afternoon but usually not after 4pm now. This is why my review is not higher.

Before I went in the store I was outside smoking and a man approached me. He asked how I was and I saw I was I said fine and then he told me he needed new friends and I said I don't want any friends. I went into the store and he proceeded to wait for me to come out. I told the guy behind the counter what was going on and he let me wait in the store for 5 minutes and then he went outside to tell the guy to leave. I'll always be thankful to that Clerk and everyone should take their business there more men need to be like that.
