Art gallery
Located within the University of Washington, the Henry Art Gallery is a non-profit museum that has been a prominent part of Seattle's art scene since 1927. With over 25,000 objects in its collection, the gallery showcases contemporary art through interactive installations and exhibitions featuring renowned artists like Bruce Nauman, Sean Scully, and Louise Bourgeois.
This is a really cool art museum, it's also free which is even cooler. I thought their current exhibition had a lot of really good variety to it, the permanent installation from James Turrell, is always really beautiful. Multiple levels as well, so lots to see.
Bryce P — Google review
Students and educators get in for free. There were three different expositions going on. Some of them, two of them I did not get. One was about the use of products that are a one time use and there is no reuse, reduce, recycle. There was another one with tires where you could seat and video of people walking around. Not my kind of art, but I could understand what their message was. The last one was a Mexican artist and poet. I liked the windows and the I enjoyed the art he had out. It was a bit too bare, not enough pieces but it was nice. I will come back when they have other artists.
Carla C — Google review
Free for UW students to enter and to be a member. They say they're events happening. Wish there was more art inside? They give away free pencils and pins :-) very friendly staff too.
Aaron L — Google review
Just an insanely beautiful art gallery! The thought provoking pieces are pretty cool. There are some weird/disturbing pieces, but art is supposed to make you feel. This building is wonderfully clean, with nice bathrooms and kind staff. Really fun to stop by here!
BEE S — Google review
I expected more. I will say the space is beautiful and the layout was welcoming. Next time we will go and hopefully visit the Cafe. I will be back i just think the art wasn't what I was looking for. The best things featured this time were the downstairs sweaters and the beautiful blanket? Displayed.
M — Google review
The Henry has always been a really well curated museum since I moved to Seattle in the 90s. Now it's free to the public, which is nice. The bookshop is gone but there's a small collection of books based on the exhibits they're having at the time available that are well priced. The cafe is okay in terms of quality, had a latte and it was fairly decent but what's really great in the cafe is that the prices are affordable and the cafe after 12pm is filled with undergraduates studying. There's free parking on Sundays in the garage downstairs or the bus drops you off right in front of the building. I highly recommend. Everyone should see the Henry at least once during their time in Seattle.
Chris M — Google review
I can't believe Seattle gets away with having such bad art museums. The permanent exhibit James Turrell Skyspace closed for at least a month becauss they are installing a temporary exhibit next to it. We drove an hour to see the James Turrell exhibit and it was closed. Instead we could see photos of buttholes. We were told next time to call to make sure the permanent exhibits would actually be open. How annoying.
Katie L — Google review
Good art work at display. There was a person dancing as one of the exhibit.

Chihuly Garden and Glass is a stunning museum and sculpture garden that showcases the breathtaking glass works of renowned artist Dale Chihuly. Hailing from the Pacific Northwest, Chihuly has gained global recognition for his vibrant and expansive collection of glass blown creations spanning over five decades. The museum, located near the iconic Space Needle in Seattle Center, offers visitors an immersive experience with both indoor and outdoor displays of Chihuly's magnificent sculptures.
Amazing pieces. Seattle location has been on my list after visiting the St Pete location. The glass house and garden was gorgeous as well and enjoyed watching his work in the theatre. I watched the live glass blowing as well and it was so fun to watch. The bar was so cute with all his collections showcased. My only thing was I paid $20 for what tasted like a $6 happy hour premade margarita. Cocktail bars are cheaper and they are handcrafted. Regardless, the bartender and all the staff were so kind and helpful. Highly recommend checking this museum out
Shelby O — Google review
This glass exhibit was beautifully displayed. The lighting was superb to show the multiple colors of the glass. The gardens were easy to navigate too. I watched a glass blowing demonstration, which runs on a regular schedule. There's a bar inside with the most interesting decor. Great menu and drinks, my drink was $20, so it's pricy. I bought a museum and Space Needle combo ticket which made it definitely worth it. Would highly recommend.
T W — Google review
We visited Chihuly Garden and Glass right after our trip up the Seattle Space Needle, and the convenience can't be beaten. The two attractions are located very close to each other, making it a perfect combo for a day at the Seattle Center. From the moment we stepped inside, I was totally astonished. The artwork displayed, made entirely from glass, is beyond impressive. The vibrant colors, the organic shapes, the dramatic lighting, and the massive, complex formations all combined to form a constant "wow" factor in every single room. It feels like walking through a magical, otherworldly garden. Be aware that it is a compact museum, so I can easily imagine how crowded the indoor galleries can get during peak busy seasons. We were there in October and found the conditions perfect—the crowds were manageable and the weather was ideal. Speaking of weather, the outdoor garden area is absolutely beautiful, with the glass sculptures intertwined with natural foliage. However, I do think anyone visiting in the summer might have a hard time enduring the heat there, as it's quite exposed. Our autumn visit provided the perfect climate to enjoy both the intricate indoor exhibits and the beautiful garden setting at a leisurely pace. A must-see for art lovers, but timing your visit can make all the difference.
Jayne Z — Google review
It took us less than an hour to walk through, but every display was stunning and full of detail. One thing that really stood out to us was how clean everything was. The air felt spotless and there was no dust on or around the glass pieces, which was amazing to see. Outside, there was live glass blowing, and they were making vases while explaining the process. It was fascinating to watch, and the artists were great at interacting with the audience and answering questions. Overall, it was a short visit but very memorable and worth seeing.
Mercedes — Google review
The Chihuly Garden and Glass is absolutely stunning—one of the most beautiful and unique attractions in Seattle! Every exhibit is a masterpiece of color, light, and imagination. The glass sculptures are breathtaking, from the intricate indoor installations to the vibrant pieces displayed among the gardens. The Glasshouse itself, with its massive hanging sculpture and view of the Space Needle through the glass ceiling, is simply spectacular. The layout is easy to navigate, the staff are welcoming and knowledgeable, and the gift shop is filled with beautiful keepsakes. Whether you’re an art lover or just looking for something inspiring and peaceful, this is a must-see experience that captures the creativity and magic of Dale Chihuly’s work.
Ajit K — Google review
This place is absolutely stunning. We bought a combined ticket to visit the Space Needle and Chihuly Garden and Glass, which worked really well. The glass artwork is incredible - so intricate, colourful and creative. The exhibition showcases the unique style of Dale Chihuly, with both indoor galleries and outdoor garden installations that make it a truly immersive experience. Definitely worth a visit if you appreciate art and design.
Maxim S — Google review
Visiting Chihuly Garden and Glass was nothing short of breathtaking. From the moment I stepped into the Glasshouse, I was immersed in Dale Chihuly’s vibrant world of color, light, and imagination. Each installation felt like a living sculpture fluid, organic, and impossibly intricate. The galleries are thoughtfully curated, showcasing the evolution of Chihuly’s artistry with stunning detail. But the real magic happens in the garden, where glass blooms and tendrils intertwine with real flora, creating a surreal harmony between human creativity and natural beauty. It’s like walking through a dream. 🎟️ Ticket Info - Adults (13–64): $35–$42.50 - Seniors (65+): $30–$37.50 - Youth (5–12): $30–$37.50 - Children (under 4): Free - Combo Ticket (Chihuly + Space Needle): $69 - Seattle CityPASS (includes multiple attractions): $99–$129 💡 Discount Tips - Save over 40% with the Seattle CityPASS, which includes admission to Chihuly Garden and Glass plus other top attractions like the Space Needle and Seattle Aquarium. RUTH S — Google review
I have had this place on my Wish List for a while and WOW! It blew me away! The lighting and staging of these phenomenal sculptures adds to the experience. I like how they do the limited timed-entry so that it doesn’t get too crowded. The demonstrations and hands-on learning spots were staffed by knowledgeable and patient people.

Seattle Art Museum, also known as SAM, is the largest visual arts institution in the Pacific Northwest. It consists of three entities: the main museum downtown, the nine-acre Olympic Sculpture Park, and the Seattle Asian Art Museum. The museum hosts special exhibits and a permanent collection of both current and classic artworks. With its extensive resources and scope, SAM can host grand-scale exhibitions featuring celebrated international artists.
Went on a Sunday and found free street parking right in front. You definitely want to spend more than a couple of hours here to really see and read about the details in the various exhibits. If you’re local to the area, they have so much programming for different ages throughout the year, it would be well worth it in my opinion to get a membership! Was really looking forward to the Ai Wei Wei exhibit, so glad I got to see it. There are special member only openings, creator talks, and early access for new exhibits. They are also very stroller friendly, if you’re planning to take a little one. My baby was looking all over I can’t wait to go again. There’s also a family area to read your child books they have provided there or just take a break from all the stimulation between exhibits. People have commented that it’s not as big as other metropolitan museums but honestly if you’re spending time even skimming the info between exhibits, you’ll be there a while. Check it out!
A V — Google review
A pretty nice museum with a mix of cultural exhibits, including contemporary, Greek, African, and Asian pieces. While the variety is interesting, the overall collection feels limited—I wish the exhibits were more extensive. The café is a pleasant spot to relax. Parking is $10 on weekends with validation.
Kelly L — Google review
It was one of our favorite mother-daughter date nights! In fact, it would be an amazing any type of date night! We especially appreciated the cultural expression and historical and political innovations. Highly recommended. Beautifully exhibited and masterfully displayed.
Allyson C — Google review
Not large compared to other major museums, but still a worthwhile trip. The first gallery ranges from modern to impressionist to neo-classical, and the second gallery contains more ancient works. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was not busy at all. You can get day-of tickets easily and enjoy free street parking nearby. To see both galleries would take about 2-3 hours, depending on your thoroughness.
Ryan G — Google review
First time visiting and was pleasantly surprised by the amazing pieces. I loved the ☁️ cloud display, the impressionists and modern contemporary were my absolute favorites.
J B — Google review
The Seattle Art Museum is a must-visit destination for art enthusiasts! The museum's collection is impressive, with a diverse range of works from around the world. The exhibitions are well-curated, and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. However, be aware that the surrounding area can be a bit rough, particularly on 2nd and 3rd Avenues. There's a visible presence of homeless individuals and people struggling with addiction, which can be uncomfortable or even intimidating at times. Just be mindful of your surroundings and keep an eye on your belongings. Despite this, the museum itself is a wonderful oasis of art and culture. If you're in Seattle, it's definitely worth a visit. Plan your trip during peak hours or visit during special exhibitions to make the most of your experience. Overall, the Seattle Art Museum is a fantastic resource for the community, and I appreciate the efforts of the staff to maintain such a wonderful institution.

I’ve been coming here for years. Ai Wei Wei exhibit was great on first Thursday. Staff is very kind here and they have a good bookshop. Docking 1 star because it can be very crowded w people who don’t respect personal space or have small children touching priceless Ai Wei Wei pieces. I almost had to karate kick a 10 yo in the dome

The Frye Art Museum, established in 1952 to showcase the extensive painting collection of Charles and Emma Frye, has become a leading cultural venue in Seattle. It features an array of 19th- and 20th-century American and European artworks, as well as rotating exhibitions that highlight contemporary art and historical graphic design. The museum also supports local artists and offers free admission, making it an ideal destination for families and visitors seeking a glimpse of the city's artistic heritage.
A gem of an art museum with a friendly staff, a well curated giftshop, beautiful architecture, and incredible art- and it's free. We enjoyed our time here. There was some construction and updates going on, and it was still well worth a visit.
Trevor P — Google review
Nicely arranged. Nearly labelled. Good collection of art . Warm reception. Clean rest rooms and a cafe too. I liked this place Only suggestion, please put pointers and name boards along near by streets and bus stops so that people can find this place easily. Do put a bigger board outside. Entrance is too subtle with a ramp and small name board.
Srividhya S — Google review
This great Art Museum is free. So many great artists… is also close to St.James cathedral. You can visit both at same time
Ellen W — Google review
Seattle, perhaps fairly, does not have a reputation as a Mecca for the visual arts. As a relatively new city that did not exist until the middle of the 19th century, it does not have the great art historical heritage as a New York or a Philadelphia or a Boston, let alone the much older cities in Europe. Nonetheless, the fry offers quite a lovely collection of 19th century American and European art displayed in the style of the old salons, with the pictures all together. This is a way of display that is rather vintage and was already starting to fall out of style by the time some of these later paintings were made in the end of the 19th century, But it provides a kind of classical enlightenment elegance to the space. There are also collections of newer art displayed, and they seem to be relatively well chosen and a tasteful, and there is little that is ridiculous or fatuous, though they largely lack the care and the devoted artistry of the earlier pieces. This is not a large museum, and 1 hour is enough to see basically everything here, but I would recommend staying longer or making several trips to really spend more time with the art and appreciate it. The museum is free admission, so that should not be particularly hard. As a professional scholar and amateur art historian, I deeply admire that a place like this exists.
Joshua F — Google review
Art should be accessible to everyone and a free museum in Seattle that houses both classic and contemporary art is a win for me. Paid street parking could be a challenge but I was visiting in between medical appts at Swedish and parked there then walked to the Frye. Parking garage in between Marion and Madison at the Nordstrom Medical Tower is a good parking option if you need it. It’s an 8 minute walk to the Frye. Was happy that this space was small (but spacious) enough for me to visit and see everything within an hour so I wasn’t late to my appt. Wheelchair accessible, clean bathrooms, cute gift shop and welcoming staff.
Anjuli W — Google review
I actually came here when they were rotating out lost of their previous exhibits, so I really only got to see the Frye Salon and the gift shop. However, I still had a great time. The Frye Salon has one of the most well-curated and interesting collection of art I’ve ever seen. Every piece was so striking yet contemplative. The museum architecture is pretty well-design, and the gift shop was well-curated with neat postcards of the artwork. There’s also a cute cafe and patio area in the back. The museum os free, which is amazing in this day and age. Hope to be back to see the new exhibits.
Royal — Google review
A really nice little art museum with some cool modern exhibitions, plus a large room filled with some incredible classic artwork (mostly 19th century). For free, it's definitely worth checking out! Street parking shouldn't be too tough there.
Dustin R — Google review
This museum is amazing! It's free, and also they are open late on Thursday evenings. Staff was also so nice. The permanent collection is absolutely gorgeous and you could spend hours in there. Would recommend if you are in the First Hill area.

Nestled in the heart of Seattle, the Greg Kucera Gallery has been a beacon for contemporary conceptual art since its inception in 1983. Initially starting with a modest group exhibition featuring local talents, it has blossomed into a prominent venue showcasing works from nationally recognized artists like Whiting Tennis and Sherry Markovitz. The gallery's expansive layout includes an airy main hall that leads to intimate rooms filled with thought-provoking pieces addressing political and social themes.
Drie Chapek's Gallery exhibition is absolutely riveting, haunting, exciting, and alive with joy. It was a thrill to be there.

The Wing Luke Museum of the Asian Pacific American Experience stands as a unique cultural gem in Seattle, nestled within the historic East Kong Yick Building. This community-driven museum is dedicated to showcasing the rich history and contributions of pan-Asian Pacific Americans, offering visitors an insightful glimpse into how these diverse cultures have influenced the development of the Northwest. The museum features rotating exhibits that highlight personal stories from long-time residents, alongside an oral history lab that invites community participation.
Amazing museum!!! Definitely a hidden gem in Chinatown/ID of Seattle. Lots of talented pieces and I highly recommend the historic hotel tour held at 10:30,1:30 and 3:30 daily. My highlight of the Seattle trip.

It was an incredible experience. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting or even living in Seattle. The free tour was the best part of the experience. Our tour guide, Mao, is so knowledgeable and a fantastic storyteller. Their tour focused on the Asian communities and landscapes in Seattle’s international district that were affected by racial prejudice, gentleman’s agreement and anti-immigration sentiment.

As a first generation, I feelthe exhibit somewhat disorganized. The display element across different asian countries is mixed and generic. I do appreciate the effort to build the connection and identity of Asian community. I think the whole museum exhibits design could follow Nordic museum and tenant museum in New York.

I’ve been to wing Luke museum once. Just a self tour to see the Bruce Lee exhibition. This time, I took advantage of the free museum day (first Thursday of each month) and revisit the museum to see the “home” exhibition. (Online sign up is recommended.) Each artist drew an object that represent his / her culture. It can be food, well known local brand name or cultural activities. One of the artists showed his Filipino story via a jar of banana ketchup sauce. That’s an interesting one. Another artist used soda vending machine to talk about the Japanese culture. Besides the “home” exhibition, I appreciated the reception told me about the guided historical tour. (3 times daily) I saw this tour in the community but I have never joined one. Mao is our tour guide, and he is a very knowledgeable educator. He talked about the 1882 Chinese exclusion act, showed us the Canton alley in Chinatown, the hidden home / hotel / dry food store / mutual aid association where the immigrants lived and worked and hung out. He mentioned that as an educator, he likes people to ask questions and engage in conversations. That’s true! I learned a lot today and I highly recommend everyone to join the tour.

Very interesting museum that covers the Asian Pacific growth in Seattle. The free tour of the museum building, including rooms occupied by residents and the local associations, plus a local store, was fascinating. Really gave a sense of what it was like. Guide was knowledgable and able to answer any questions. Special exhibits on the meaning of "home" were though provoking. Also did the tour of the INS building which is now used as artist's studios but you can definitely get the feeling of how it was used when it was a govt building. (I was more interested in the art displayed outside many of the studios!)

Super friendly staff—especially the girl at the front who was incredibly welcoming and kind. The museum is quite small, but I highly recommend taking the tour. Note: street parking only.

Went in for the Nobody Lives Here exhibit and joined a tour of the old hotel and shop adjacent. Our guide was excellent and did a good job engaging a quiet group and providing some interesting information. The tour felt immersive and is a must for those interested in Washington and Seattle history. The rest of the museum has some really great art and historical pieces showcasing the vast and diverse Asian American experience. My one piece of feedback on the Nobody Lives Here exhibit is that it was a little text heavy, which was hard to take in fully. I really liked the before and after shots of different areas around Seattle showing 'progress' at the expense of marginalized communities and would have loved to see more.

This wonderful museum is packed full with history of Asian Pacific Americans and their lives in the Chinatown District of Seattle. If you get a chance- take the tour! Everyone gets a small earpiece (can change volume) to listen to your guide as you walk. They are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and willing to answer all questions. Definitely would recommend visiting!

Nestled in the vibrant Pioneer Square, Roq La Rue Gallery is a haven for enthusiasts of pop surrealism and underground contemporary art. Since its inception in 1998, this gallery has carved out a niche as one of the pioneers in showcasing these unique artistic expressions. With its airy atmosphere and large windows flooding the space with natural light, Roq La Rue continues to present an eclectic mix of exhibitions that celebrate underrepresented artists.
This location is the exact opposite of their previous Belltown location. They will be moving in the new year sometime to the old Cafe Minnie's location. So excited to see they are still kicking it and showcasing local artists.

A fantastic gallery with monthly shows. The owner has been in business for 25 years and has great taste in pop-surrealist artists and I’ve been amazed by every artist’s work that she has curated. I have a painting I purchased from her in a prominent place in my home and I admire it everyday. Follow them on Instagram to get sneak peaks and to learn when the next show is and don’t be afraid to step in to enjoy the art. You might just find your new favorite piece!

I first heard of Roq La Rue through reading High Fructose and put it on my must visit list. This week I made it out to Seattle from Houston, TX so I can mark it off. I'm certainly glad I visited, but wish I had more to say of my experience. Unfortunately, the reception I received was poor, at best. The worker was too distracted and preoccupied by her computer to give more than a luke warming greeting and even cooler good bye. If you want to see some amazing art pieces by some tremendously talent artists...make the trek. I can't promise you will be warmly received.

The Museum of Pop Culture, located in Seattle, is a must-visit for anyone interested in music, pop culture, and science fiction. The museum showcases over 80,000 American artifacts including items from iconic musicians like Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin's bell-bottoms and Elvis Presley's leather jacket. Designed by Frank Gehry to resemble a smashed guitar, the ultra-modern building also features the Sky Church performance arena for concerts.
So much fun for the whole family. We spent hours exploring and having fun in the many exhibits. Music, sci fi, movie memorabilia, art. And great for all ages. We will be visiting again. A must see in Seattle.

We had a blast. We loved all the exhibits, and especially the sound lab! This is a must visit place, for all ages. My favorite was 2nd floor with the sci-fi, fantasy and horror exhibits. The music church was a nice place to rest and soak in the music. In Sept 2025, the Black music exhibit was a special experience.
Savvy R — Google review
This is among the core attractions of Seattle as the museum provides great insights into music, movies, comics and associated culture. The exhibitions in the museum keep on changing and associated information is available on the website. Tickets can be purchased online as well as at the spot. The Museum is located in the Seattle Center area and is accessible by bus, mono rail, self driving, as well as the city tour hop on hop off tour bus. The music is closed each week on a Wednesday instead of Sunday. The museum has an interesting outlook as the building has a very futuristic and artistic outlook with buildings in various colors.

Museum was super cool. Lots of different genres of pop culture to experience (Fantasy, sci-fi, anime, music, video games, etc). There were some really fun interactive exhibits too (Indie video game and the Sound Lab). I really loved the Sound Lab and playing the instruments. The horror section was awesome as well. A very cool museum right next to the Space Needle. Definitely worth a visit if you're into pop culture. We went on a Monday. It never felt too busy. The staff was very friendly as well.

We had an amazing time at the Museum of Pop Culture. The exhibits are creative, interactive, and really well put together. We especially enjoyed the sections on music history, sci-fi, and the hands-on experiences. The building itself is stunning and adds to the whole atmosphere. Staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was easy to navigate. It’s definitely a must-visit in Seattle for anyone interested in music, movies, or pop culture in general.

Very good exhibition on Jimmy Hendrix ! Was hoping for more on underground Seattle music from 80’. Great exhibition on horror movies and Science Fiction films. There was an exhibit on Asian comic culture, but I haven’t explored this one . The building itself is very impressive as is collection of the famous musician’s guitars 🎸

Nice museum, and worth the price of admission once, as a tourist. Architecturally interesting from the outside and the inside is full of pop culture artifacts. Still surprised that there seems to be a lack of Pokémon memorabilia, given that as a franchise it is the largest IP in the world. Would be an interesting case study to understand the mass market appeal. The museum has plenty of varied exhibits, with the fantasy section possibly the most well designed with a structural breakdown of major archetypes. Would recommend!
Justin K — Google review
I had a very good experience, wish I could have had more time, but loved the Asian comics exhibition it was very interesting and has comics from different countries in Asia. The other exhibits were also very good, Fantasy, Terror and Science Fiction, q lot of original prompts from well known movies. had a very wonderful time with my family. One thing I didn't like at all was that in the shop they sell a lot of AI generated art in their t shirts... that was really disappointing.

Olympic Sculpture Park, an extension of the Seattle Art Museum, spans 9 acres and features a 2,500-foot descending path connecting downtown Seattle with a waterfront beach. The park showcases permanent and rotating sculptures by renowned artists like Richard Serra and Alexander Calder. Visitors can also enjoy the PACCAR Pavilion, which houses changing exhibits, event space, and a cafe.
Here, it is good to sit in the sculpture park and look at the body, but it is better to walk along the path along the ocean. It feels really happy to walk while looking at the ocean from Pier 67 to Pier 90. When the sun goes down, sit at Expedia Beach and look at the city and purple sky reflected in the setting sun. Mt. Rainier looks unrealistically beautiful.

The SAM Olympic Sculpture Park is a hidden gem on the Seattle waterfront. Great spot to watch boats, kayaks, and random water traffic go by. My tip: grab a chair up by the red sculpture—you get shade and a perfect view. Even better, pick up a meal at Pike Place Market, walk it over, and enjoy it in peace. It’s a bit of a trek from the market, so fewer tourists, but totally worth it. Bonus: close enough to the Seattle Center if you want to keep the adventure going.

This place is a perfect spot for a relaxing walk and a much-needed break from the hustle and bustle of the big city. It offers a serene environment where visitors can unwind, enjoy nature, and escape the noise of urban life. The area is thoughtfully designed, featuring beautiful infrastructure that seamlessly blends with the surrounding natural landscape, making it an ideal location for leisurely strolls and peaceful moments. Visiting this place is highly recommended, especially for those who appreciate well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing environments. The infrastructure not only enhances the overall experience but also highlights the careful planning and attention to detail that has gone into creating this tranquil haven. It’s a great destination for families, couples, or solo travelers seeking a quiet retreat. Whether you want to take a scenic walk, enjoy some quiet time, or just admire the impressive infrastructure, this location provides a perfect backdrop. Remember to visit on a clear day to fully appreciate the beauty and calmness of the area. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to relax, disconnect, and enjoy the simple pleasures of well-designed outdoor spaces.

Visited in May recently It was a nice walk from the Space Needle on a beautiful day. There are not many sculptures but it was nice walking around looking for them and enjoying the view and the outdoors. Then walked back to Pier 54 waterfront and completed the loop.
Google L — Google review
Olympic Sculpture Park is a great place to walk around, especially on a sunny day. The views are absolutely stunning—you can see the Seattle skyline, the waterfront, and even the Olympic Mountains in the distance. It’s a peaceful spot with lots of open space and plenty of photo opportunities. The sculptures that are there are interesting and well-placed, but honestly, I expected to see more. There’s a lot of walking space between each piece, and at times it felt a little empty. I was hoping for a more immersive art experience with a higher concentration of sculptures. Still, it’s a lovely spot to relax, take in the scenery, and enjoy some unique outdoor art. Just go in knowing it’s more about the setting and the atmosphere than the number of sculptures. Definitely worth a visit, but maybe not exactly what I was expecting.
Nick P — Google review
Olympic Sculpture Park runs along the water right outside of the downtown area. Although it's easy to get to that area, parking has to be done a bit further away and you can walk over the bridge from lower Queen Anne area. The park is relatively clean and lots of people bike, run, or even hang at the beach with their dogs. It's a cool spot to look out at the water and on nice sunny days, it gets pretty packed. There is a rose garden in the middle and the trail runs all the way through. We did a cleanup day on World Oceans Day and only found about 50lbs of trash, which isn't too bad considering how long the park actually is.
Matt P — Google review
Very cool sculpture park. They have a variety of different sculptures. It is on the smaller side but lots of slopes so you can get a nice easy workout by just walking.

The Pacific Science Center in Seattle offers a diverse range of attractions for visitors of all ages. From rotating science exhibits and laser light shows to a tropical butterfly house and IMAX movie theaters, there's something for everyone. The center is currently undergoing renewal but is still hosting engaging exhibits, including an interactive hockey exhibition coinciding with the inaugural season of the Seattle Kraken.
Our family was traveling through Seattle and we love going to science centers. We spent the entire day from 10-5 exploring everything they have. Our kids really enjoyed the maker space area and butterfly exhibit. We also chose to see a couple of the laser shows that were free with our tickets. They were super cool. They have so many wonderful ways to spend a day together.

This place is great for kids and adults too! I learned so much about space and the brain. I loved the toddler preschool age planetarium show for my 16 month old even if it's best for 2-5. It was a very slow day with only two babies and their moms today. Usually it's chaos with a little dancing part, the guide said, but today it was quiet and relaxing! The babes were loving sitting back on mom and watching the show. I loved the interactive exhibits. Baby's favorites were the bubble station, the gears, the Bernoulli effect balls, and the twist button where you see what color a star turns the hotter it gets. My favorites were the butterfly house (by far!!) and the show in the planetarium.
Nicole C — Google review
Really cool experience so much activities for everyone to enjoy! Although many areas are targeted towards kids, I did wish there were more adult centered events! I am unsure if they sell food inside but that also would’ve been nice to have, maybe there is a reason they don’t have a cafe or sell food. Parking is also something you have to consider when visiting, but it’s worth it and it’s situated in a perfect area(space needle, chihuly garden museum, climate pledge arena, Seattle center armory food & event hall, etc) where you can visit many places.
Lilypad — Google review
We went to this museum with four kids ages 1-7 and we all loved it. The exhibits were so interesting and interactive and there was something for everyone. One of the best museums I’ve been to with my kids. The laser show was cool but too long. We were a bit too late for the other shows. I think you can get tickets as part of the Seattle city pass so it would be cheaper but we bought at the door. No line. Smooth.
Cory M — Google review
Kids had fun. We do all wish they would change it up a little every now and then. We have a year membership but with everything always the exact same each time it gets a little less exciting and fun. The laser shows are always awesome. This time we saw a sci fi show which wasn't as fast paced and memorizing as the shows that dance along to songs. But it was still neat. Kids also always enjoy the butterfly room even if it is so warm inside.

We love our visit to center. My son (6) absolutely loved it. The center was clean and it had many different activities to see and explore. I highly suggest it.
Angela P — Google review
We always have so much fun here! We easily spent 4+ hours here. The butterfly garden is very cool. We also really enjoyed the planetarium (but seating is limited and tickets are first come). There is a lot to see and the staff was so nice and knowledgeable.
Joselyn C — Google review
This was one of the options for the Seattle CityPass, and we decided to go check it out! It was a really fun experience, and the campus is pretty large. They have several buildings with different things in them. We came here around 3:30 pm- we wanted to come earlier but something came up. We ended up missing a lot of the cool programs like the planetarium and the laser dome. Many of the exhibits were interactive and very interesting. I think the coolest exhibit was the tropical butterfly house. They have an area to put your belongings in before stepping inside. They are very careful about making sure the butterflies are safe! It was so cool to see them up close. They also had an area of the ones that are emerging out of their cocoons. When we went, they did not have a robust gift shop, but a little stand with some merchandise. The people working the information desk were extremely friendly and helpful. This experience was so cool! I can imagine that this is especially cool for kids. I went with my partner, and we are both 24 years old. We had a blast, so I think anyone at any age would have a great time here.

Iconic museum located in a scenic setting. Great place to learn every little detail about Seattle. Upon entering, I was immediately blown away by the massive main hall and the size of the artifacts and artworks being exhibited. The museum hosts an amazing collection of artifacts, methodically presented in a manner sure to captivate the visitor. I love the detail the museum put into their presentations, especially regarding the impact Seattle has globally through its industry and entrepreneurship. I really enjoyed the experience, save for the fact that parking is limited and not free.

After coming to Seattle once a year for the past 5 years, I finally decided to check this place, and I'm wishing that I had done it sooner! This museum is a 'hidden gem' that's off the beaten path a bit away from the usual go-to spots of the Pike Place and the Space Needle, but that should not stop you from coming here. The museum offers a tremendous amount of learning opportunities about the history of Seattle and the surrounding areas from hundreds of years ago to the present time, showing how this areas greatest minds contributed to culture, science and technology in so many ways. I would not hesitate to come here again. Note: Admission was free for me since I am a member at a museum out of state that is part of the Reciprocal Museums Program. I highly recommend looking into it!

Nice museum! The Mohai was easy to get to and grab tickets for on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. The Museum is a wonderful place to explore if you want to really understand Seattle. The exhibits tell the city’s story beautifully, from its roots in maritime and logging to its impact on aviation and technology. I especially enjoyed the Boeing gallery and the innovation exhibits, which make you realize how much creativity has come out of this region. The cultural and music displays were a great touch too, giving a sense of the city’s character beyond just industry. The museum itself is in a stunning spot on Lake Union, with big windows and gorgeous views of the water. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the whole experience felt welcoming and engaging. Whether you’re a local or visiting for the first time, this is a place that leaves you with a much deeper appreciation for Seattle

There is a parking lot in the back. We paid $2 for one hour Inside is a gift shop and a coffee shop. Coffee was good. Pastries are also available. Some were gluten free. All unique and looked yummy. The service was fast and friendly. The gift shop has unique items.... None that I saw were made by anyone of Nordic descent... I'm not sure why anyone would buy a souvenir claiming to represent a certain place, that is actually made in China, Thailand, Malaysia etc. I walked out. We didn't go into the museum portion. Cost: $20 per person. We were on a troll hunt and enjoyed the artistry of the troll in front of the building.

Quintessential Seattle experience- way overpriced for what you get. There are indeed fascinating artifacts but they're far and few between. Everything else is a facsimile, a malfunctioning exhibit, or an empty room with floating sealife made of metal wire and crayon drawings on the walls. There's even a display of Angry Birds toys for museum-goers to enjoy!

I had a wonderful experience during my visit to this museum. I decided to go early in the morning on a weekday, and I was surprised to find that the museum wasn't crowded at all. The atmosphere is quite and it made it easy to appreciate the art and artifacts on display. Overall, it was an enjoyable way to start my day, and I felt like I had the museum almost to myself. I took my grandfather with me, and he was able to walk and take breaks comfortably on a seat. The museum is very accommodating for people with disabilities, making it easy for everyone to navigate. Paid parking is available in the back of the building, and there’s plenty of space, so parking shouldn’t be a concern. However, it’s worth noting that the parking spaces are on the smaller side to maximize the available area.

Great museum with opportunities to see students working actively on their projects. An incredible concept. My kids enjoyed seeing the dinosaurs. I appreciate their indigenous exhibits. The display of Indigenous artistry throughout the building is beautiful. Parking could be difficult depending on the time and day.

We spent a rainy morning here and enjoyed our visit! They have a good selection of indigenous art, dinosaurs, and taxidermies. There’s a strong focus on acknowledging the impact of colonialism. We came without kids but there’s a lot of interactive elements, so it’s a great place for little ones!

I really enjoy going to this museum, I would suggest either getting a Seattle Public Library card and you can go for free! They also do free admissions on the first Thursday of every month :) Even if you don’t go for free, it’s a simple museum with many different things to offer, for the price it’s pretty good. I think if it was any more expensive I wouldn’t suggest going. The first floor is dedicated to Indigenous people that first lived in Seattle, while the second and third is dedicated to different wildlife and dinosaurs. They also have labs that you can see into, where scientists/workers are doing their job, pretty interesting to watch!

The Northwest African American Museum, located in Seattle's Central District, is a cultural and art museum housed in the historic 1909 Colman School building. It features changing exhibits that highlight African-American culture, history, and art. Visitors can explore the Apollo 17 Lunar Module Ascent Stage Mock-up exhibit and experience hands-on workshops exploring science, engineering, and aerospace topics. The museum also showcases prominent works by Seattle African-American artists such as James W. Washington and Jacob Lawrence.
Beautiful collection of art and history focused on African American experiences in the Northwest and beyond. Five galleries/ spaces spread out one floor. Very quiet on a Friday morning, getting through it in about an hour. Photo scavenger hunt helps keep you on track while taking it all in. Free parking and free admission with tickets from the King County Library.

Such a nice a museum. Went for a quick visit on a summer afternoon and fully enjoyed all of the current exhibits with our 6 & 8yo. Very nice staff. Library is great for the end too. Current photography exhibit from Selma is amazing, especially in today’s crazy times. Really a great experience. So happy to see NAAM open again - great icon of the importance of standing up for what you believe in :) 🙌🏼

I visited this Museum. I was very impressed with the exhibit and all the Museum has put together to make black history come alive . With pictures and video screens you can relive the times from Silma Alabama to MLk walk for justice. I was also impressed my the structure outside the Museum as Michael Bennett who is also a part of the Northwest African American Museum along with Mass Timber constructed this building with the top outlined of a cross. When it's sunny the shadow of the cross you can see on the wall. I took many pictures please if ever you can go visit this Museum. Please know there is an entrance fee very reasonable I believe it's $8 dollars or so and yes I donated to this great Museum also. Any donations help in securing the museum .

We went to Jimi Hendrix Park and then the African American Museum. A snapshot in time that chronicle the historic photogaphs of photographer Spider Martin who documented the injustice dueing during those civil right times. Very Eye opening if you want to learn more about the Civil rights movement in America.

What a beautiful experience today. The Salma to Montgomery March was the main attraction. It was so powerful to step back in time and see the images alongside facts about those images. The true allies I observed made my heart sing...Jim Letherer with just one leg walked with his crutches in solidarity. That is the kind of ally ship I'm trying to give. So many other wonderful displays to point to the thousands of contributions made by men and women of African descent from hundreds of years ago - to their ancestors who are making a difference today, right here in their community, really made me joyful. I can't wait to take my husband and kids soon. I only took 2 pictures because I was so immersed by everything. These two photos must have some deep meaning inside my soul... Now, off you go - go see for yourself!!!

It's small but it has the history of Black people in Washington State. Plus, the museum is in a former school with its own history.

Within the Museum they have a family room I saw a mom with her young baby looking through a library of books on the shelves and sharing stores with her baby. I saw people of mixed nationalities at the museum there is so much information pictures , TV screens with videos capturing the events of the times of Black History. I need to go back as I missed some of the exhibits. Again please if you can support the Northwest African American Museum any donation whatever you can afford is well worth supporting the museum.
Ben K — Google review
The Selma exhibit consisting of photos documenting this event 60 years ago is outstanding. However this museum is small and lacks depth...yet it inspired me to discover more. I was particularly moved by a photo honoring a white pastor, who gave his life for this cause. This museum is not open everyday and there was no free admission on first Thursday of the month. However the admission was nominal. Don't miss their library which has a nice book collection and even a children section.

A Seattle art gallery known for its contemporary glass pieces, Traver Gallery features high ceilings and showcases works by artists of all levels. The gallery is open to the public and is a great place to see work from some of Seattle's most well-known and respected artists.
Love this gallery. A must visit during the art walk, any weekday or touring the city. Great glass art. Gallery has lots of natural light. Lovely staff. Very inviting atmosphere.

This is a really cool spot, a really good variety of pieces on display, and well curated artist exhibitions as well. The building itself is also cool to walk around in, if you go out the back door there's a patio to look over the water.

I loved this space—beautiful building space! Amazing and eclectic art pieces, glass, ceramics, metal and so on! Got to meet Shelly too, what a sweetheart! I love places that allow dogs or have dogs that wander.

Stunning gallery space with a fine selection of works on display/for sale. There were two different artists being shown when we visited, each having two contrasting styles and approaches to working with glass: Lino Tagliapietra & John Kiley. The decision to show both of these artists' works at the same time was a brilliant choice, sure to push any patron in their perception of art and beauty.
Kevin L — Google review
Great space. Nice works. Don't miss the fabulous pieces hanging in the lobby as you enter. Friendly staff. Be a kind gallery visitor and always ask if you may take non-flash pictures for your personal use.

Really lovely gallery space showing splendid glass art. The staff are friendly and so is the CCO (Chief Canine Officer) who is sometimes in attendance. The works are high-end and beautifully displayed, allowing the pieces to make their full impact. When I visited, there were works by Dante Marioni and Heike Brachlow. Marioni's works cover a variety of styles, though for me, the most successful ones were very contemporary takes on Venetian styles. Brachlow's are variations on the same themes, abstract curves in different shades of the same colors.

Amazing museum! A huge variety of aircraft and space exhibits, from historic warplanes to Air Force One, the Concorde, and even the Space Shuttle trainer. They even have the world’s very first Boeing 747 on display! The place is well-organized, spacious, and truly a must-visit for anyone who loves aviation or just wants a unique experience. Highly recommend! ✈️

Simply amazing and a not to be missed museum if you are around Seattle area. This is a true treat for anyone with a slight interest in aviation. The museum has so much to offer and if you really want to get the most out of your visit then please do block at least 4 hours to visit the entire place. The museum has a huge free parking lot which is super convenient. The tickets can be purchased based online or at site. There are four major sections where you can see and experience different air crafts. The best is the one across the road where you can actually walk in to larger planes such as the Concord, older Air Force one, and the Jumbo 747s. There are other sections where you can see the first Boeing jets, older and existing fighter jets, visit the control tower. There is red barn area where the history of the Boeing factory is displayed.also they have a few dedicated areas for space program and associated shuttles developed by Boeing. There is a section for the world war era planes and a lot of history depicted. There is a gift shop and restaurant as well. Highly recommend a visit to this
Avais S — Google review
Great collection of (historical) planes, and all kind of info from the (history) of flight and space travel up the artistic Mig21-project. Uniquely located besides Boeing Airfield and Inclusive the Pavilion hangar several ( big); planes with several of them accesable. You actually should stay more than a day.
Vlp P — Google review
The collection is excellent and very well documented. The obvious star of the show is across the bridge at the outdoor displays! The walk through aircraft are well set up, and the docents were knowledgeable and polite. It's an awesome experience to physically be in something like the concord or an old air force one. Definitely worth the ticket price and parking was easy.
Jon — Google review
The Museum of Flight is definitely a must-see if you like planes! Take a tour with one of the tour guides since it's included with your ticket, they are super knowledgeable and have some really interesting stories to share! Budget yourself 2 to 4 hours depending on how much you like to read 🫡
Siddarth D — Google review
The flight museum was amazing! There were so many airplanes, and plenty of interactive games for kids to play. You can also learn a lot about aviation, space, and history. I’ll definitely come again!
Lisa — Google review
It's a place worth visiting, especially if you are an aviation fan, you will feel very magical. Seeing your favorite plane appear in front of you, you will feel very emotional. You will feel that time flies in it. Whether you bring your family or friends, it is worth coming here. Highly recommended.😍😁

This museum has everything when it comes to flying/airplanes. Lots to see! The collection of aircraft was impressive from historic warplanes to modern jets, each exhibit was well-maintained and had informative displays. Located in Volunteer Park, the Seattle Asian Art Museum is housed in a historic 1930s art deco building. It is part of the Seattle Art Museum and features an extensive collection of Asian art and artifacts. The museum showcases historical works from various Asian countries, including India, China, and Japan. Visitors can explore rock carvings, stonework, and silk screens while also enjoying public programs that offer insights into Asia's cultural traditions and contemporary issues.
The Seattle Asian Art Museum is definitely worth a visit. The collection is diverse and beautifully presented, with many artifacts related to Buddhism that are impressive. The building itself is elegant and set in peaceful Volunteer Park, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. A great place to spend a couple of hours and learn more about Asian art and culture.
Julie L — Google review
It's a pretty cool museum - most of the exhibit pertains to eastern culture. It can be a really amazing experience to visit the museum. In my opinion what truly stood out was sculpture and exhibits around Buddhism.
Kumar V — Google review
Very cool! I honestly am not a museum person, but my wife totally is. Decided to take her on a date here and it was really great. Loved the displays and how the art was presented. There was plenty of room for multiple people. (I hate cramped museums 😒) the lighting was really nice, and you can't get lost in there. It was about an hour to see the whole museum. Nice little gift shop at the end. Great experience.
Dasha D — Google review
I visited this park today as the entrance fee is waived off on the first Thursday of the month. It has a great edifice and welcoming staff.. sadly, no focus on India and the rich art and culture from India. Too much of China and Budha related resources. Though they are important, without giving sufficient space and credit to India, the Asian Art scene is not comprehensive. There are also some indian carvings and painting wrongly attributed to China and Pakistan!! This is inaccurate. In the section on Hindu temples, there is a mention of Muslim workers and builders . This is a gross distortion of the well-established fact that Muslims destroyed temples and don't believe in idol worship. It would help if the gift shop has handicrafts from India, Thailand etc instead of Hello kitty toys. The whole museum is surrounded by Volunteer park and conservatory, Dahlia garden and water tower which are fantastic attractions

A very nice glimpse into some of the finest oriental exhibits in the city. There is so much value or get from the $15 ticket price. After a walk in the museum, highly recommend checking out the park as well.

Saw the Geometry of Light traveling exhibit by Anila Quaytum Agha recently. It was incredible and lovely. The Asian Art Museum is always fun to visit. I love seeing the different statues and stonework and am blown away by the intricate designs from thousands of years ago. The building itself is beautiful and we'll laid out and Volunteer Park is a great place for outdoor scenery in the middle of the city.

My toddler and I visited the Seattle Asian Art Museum for the first time today. We found parking out front easily, and when we went to buy tickets they told me that my kid was free and that they had a recommended donation but price could be adjusted if that was a factor. I had a diaper bag, and there were free lockers downstairs or I could carry it with me, just no backpacks worn on the back. We went downstairs to the water fountain and I was very pleased to see an all gender changing station space. When we went upstairs my toddler loved the Geometry of Light exhibit by Anila Luassutd. They also loved the fountain, and the big cushions for observing the art. On our way out we picked up a small art book from the gift shop. We’ll definitely visit again.
Stacy H — Google review
On the first Thursday of every month, you can enter the Seattle Asian Art Museum for free. The location is within the volunteer park, and there is also a free parking lot. On free days, there are many families and groups of young children, so it can be crowded. When you enter the museum, you will receive a free ticket at the reception. If you go down the stairs on your left, there is a restroom. Compared to the Seattle Art Museum, it is much smaller, but it is worth seeing. There is Ai Weiwei's water lilies, so don't miss it. Also, Boundless: stories of Asian Art. After viewing the museum, I recommend taking a walk in the volunteer park.

Nestled in the vibrant Capitol Hill neighborhood, the Museum of Museums (MoM) is a contemporary art haven that has been captivating visitors since its opening in 2020. Housed in a striking all-white building that once served as a medical facility, this innovative space was founded by artist Greg Lundgren with the aim of enriching Seattle's artistic community.
This location is very interesting and different from the art installations I have ever been to. The location is filled with modern art. One of my favorite parts of this locations is that the restaurants are also exhibit themselves. They are very interesting and colorful. The main exhibit that was on display at the moment was amazing. The integrating from walking into different room from the giant tv to the room that felt like Alice in wonderland. I definitely recommend coming here !

This is a small but very cute museum. It has 3 floors and when you enter the museum you are on the second floor. I suggest to go up, then explore the second floor, and then go downstairs and exit through the gift shop. The gift shop has pretty interesting "gifts". The staff is very friendly. The featured exhibit changes every 8 months or so.

Love this little but mighty museum! They had great local artists featured when I went and have a special space dedicated to empowering young artists from local middle and high schools. Also- the gift shop has some fun, original & comical items! Parking was tricky- I parked at Whole Foods and walked! 😬

This amazing museum is sadly closing very soon, you've definitely need to get there before that. Staff was super welcoming and eager, the exhibits emersive and inventive, every bathroom has amazing artworks in them and they have my favorite gift shop I've ever been to. It's worth the 20 dollars for the laughs I got from their selection of souvenirs. Such a great stop

What a great little museum! I'm so glad we braved downtown Seattle traffic to check it out. We enjoyed all exhibits and even the bathrooms were fun! We'll be back next time we're in Seattle!!
Constance M — Google review
Since living in Seattle for three years, I have been making my rounds through all of the museums in the city and the ones that I thought I would love and the ones I thought I wouldn’t have completely surprised me and been about opposite of expected. This museum is unique, pretty small and you’ll only spend about 30 minutes to an hour here. To be honest it felt more kitchy and like a craft museum more than art, at least when I visited in February 2023. Don’t get me wrong I love both. I love doing crafts and I love art but I need to know what to expect concept wise before a museum and after visiting this museum, I realize that I’m much more of a fan of fine art. It didn’t even really feel like a modern art, and again, more crafty. Which is fine, but definitely not what I was expecting. The exhibits here felt like grasping at straws with the meaning, there was an exhibit with a lot of selfies on top of random americana items, which just gave me like Instagram cringe. I’m a millennial but the selfie obsession is my worst nightmare. Another exhibit had really fun colors, but looks like it was made in Microsoft paint when you’re im elementary school and wasting time in class. A lot of the exhibits felt that they could’ve been done by almost anyone which is maybe the point, that everybody should do art, and you don’t have to necessarily be extremely skilled and blessed at oil painting or sculpting etc beyond most people’s abilities. Anyway, it’s $20 a person on the weekend which feels really overpriced but it’s something to do for passing an hour of your life.
Jamie C — Google review
Love this small modern museum! We stumbled upon it while visiting from Ohio and it was the perfect way to spend a rainy hour on a Sunday. We loved the collection of children's robot drawings, as well as the Word of the Future collection. Even their bathrooms had art installations! Friendly staff too. 🥰
Jessica U — Google review
Yesterday I visited it and it was very expensive for me, 22 dollars per adult, I went with my daughter and I paid 44 dollars in total, it has a couple of interesting things but they are not worth it for that price, it is basically a place that people use to take selfies and post them on Instagram.

The Ghost Gallery is a Seattle art gallery that focuses on affordable and accessible art to all. The gallery has curated collections of local and regional artists in a wide variety of mediums, from paintings and jewelry to wine and tarot.
I've dealt with this gallery quite a bit over the years. I've found some wonderful small art pieces and great candles there. Sometimes they have sales and art shows with small pieces at really reasonable prices which I enjoy. And I bought something from this gallery once where something went wrong, and I really appreciated the way they handled the situation. I bought a very delicate and fragile piece of glass art online and asked for it to be shipped after the show ended. The owner contacted me and notified me that she was getting ready to ship and noticed the piece had broken. She refunded my money immediately. She later contacted me and said the artist would try to recreate the piece if I liked. The artist made a new piece which was even more beautiful than the first one, and it arrived in perfect condition. I very much appreciated the owner being honest and up front about the situation. A dishonest dealer would have just shipped the piece and let me think it had broken in the mail. Got my money back and then gladly purchased an even lovelier piece by the artist.

Although listed as an “art gallery” on Google, this location functions as a thoughtfully curated metaphysical supply store. The selection of tarot decks and preserved specimens is both unique and of exceptional quality. I was able to find a rare oracle deck here, and I greatly appreciate the gallery’s commitment to supporting independent artists. A distinctive destination for those interested in art, metaphysics, and unusual collectibles.

Well organized and scheduled across each year, they offer small and large-scale events full of the most popular and rare as well as old and modern music. Huge thanks to all the talented people who make all this magic possible!

What a beautiful theater. I came here to see "Barbie The Movie: In Concert with the Seattle Symphony" and had a very good time. The conductor (Sarah Hicks) and the orchestra did a great job, and some of them even wore pink overalls. Looking forward to seeing more concerts here.

Great hall to hear the Seattle Symphony in concert; we went to see Dreamworks; seats a bit cramped and even though no spill cups allowed, no cup holders; but plenty of locations to buy something:near ticket office there are a few restaurants; outside hall there are drink stations

What an incredible place to see a concert! I've been here a few times now and have never been disappointed. Incredible architecture and acoustics. Best of all, there's an underground Light Rail station directly below the theater. Easy to get in and out. Olympic Otter

Benaroya Hall is a stunning venue that delivers an exceptional concert experience every time. The architecture is breathtaking, with soaring glass facades and elegant interiors that set the perfect tone for an evening out. The acoustics are truly wonderful. Every note rings with crystal clarity throughout the Auditorium, whether you're in the front row or upper balcony. Whether you're seeing the Seattle Symphony or catching a special performance, Benaroya Hall provides the kind of memorable evening that showcases why live music in a purpose-built venue is unmatched. It's one of Seattle's true cultural gems and worth every visit.

It was good. The entry hall is a bit small i feel. Attended a graduation ceremony. The hall was overcrowded. Management and staff were nice and good. The seats were good but not very comfy. The ambience was nice as well.

Living Computers: Museum + Labs is a unique museum and lab space situated in Seattle's SoDo neighborhood. Founded by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, the museum offers free admission on the first Thursday of each month from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. It boasts an extensive collection of fully functioning vintage computers dating back to the 1960s, including minicomputers, microcomputers, mainframes, and supercomputers.
Fantastic museum! The first floor is more typical computer exhibits of the latest computer tech advances. They have a cool section recreating life and environment of the 80's such as a classroom. They also have a VR demo station. The top floor though has some of the most impressive items. There is an actual apple I built by the two Steve's that you can actually type and interact with. They have woke mainframe systems up and running and a lot more. Very impressive and even nostalgic
Troy F — Google review
Excellent place to see old computers and learn about computing history. Many hands on exhibits and very knowledgeable staff. I especially love the 80s living room setup they have and vintage arcade machines. It's also nice that the older computers upstairs are set up and working with discs that you can boot the machines up with and play games.
Chris C — Google review
This museum is truly a gem. You can interact with almost all of the machines from punch card makers to the Apple I and more modern computers. As someone who truly enjoys video games it was amazing to be able to play games from the 80s and 90s including some I remember from childhood. If I could I’d spend an entire day here on their second floor!
Joshua A — Google review
This place is incredible. The fact that all the computers are still functional AND you can play with them is amazing. As a computer geek, I could have spent a week here. The highlight of my visit was playing with the FUNCTIONAL Apple I upstairs. I’d seen one before at Google’s computer museum but it was collecting dust behind glass. I also loved all the history, including the early Apple engineer swag and all the info about each machine. If you’re at all into computers or computer history or even if you just casually like gadgets, make this place a part of your Seattle experience!
Sam B — Google review
This place truly deserves 10 stars because it is truly the most exceptional museum I’ve ever visited as a technology geek and museum enthusiast. This beats out every other museum in town and is one of the only museums in the world with such a comprehensive collection of working computers from every decade. I easily spent almost 5 hours here and didn’t even get to spend as much time as I would have liked at each station. They were previewing a documentary on the Apple Newton which was extremely interesting and they even invited some of the key figures in the Newton project to come up and answer questions. Extremely exceptional staff and the entrance fee is completely reasonable for the amount of living history you are able to explore. They also have shown off some new technologies like app based drag and drop robots that are able to be programmed to VR, to an old arcade set, to a telepresence robot that you can drive around. It truly is heaven for geeks and non-geeks alike. There is something here to pique your interest even if you think you aren’t interested in computers.
Victor W — Google review
The first floor seemed mostly for kids but did have a retro arcade (free to play the games) an old school room setup and living room from the ~80s era filled with all the period furniture and tech. The second floor was really awesome for anyone over 20. It had tons of old machines running old software and almost all of it was hands on. Windows 1 machines, Lisa 1 and 2 with Oregon Trail, an Apple 1, and a bunch more. I was really glad I came to visit this place and got to play with all the old tech.
Nick T — Google review
First Thursdays of the month are free 5-8PM. Three hours is not nearly enough to experience everything here. There's quite a few old computer systems including tons of games and software from back in the day. You can play timeless classics like Space War, Oregon Trail, Pong, Asteroids, etc from tons of old systems. The mainframe room is pretty cool with live systems. Also you can play chess against a super computer and if you win, get your picture in the hall of fame! There's also new technology including a VR demo, robot building blocks, and video game development stations. If I lived closer, I'd definitely consider a membership, but I'll settle for the free entry on first Thursdays for now.
Stettin P — Google review
The museum has a variety of computers, ranging from those made in the 70s and earlier to the modern ones we see today, all in working condition! Customers are allowed to use the computers which is really cool! I'd recommend going at least 3 hours before the museum closes if you really enjoy this stuff.

Seattle Pinball Museum, located in the International District, offers a nostalgic and entertaining experience for all ages. With over 50 classic and modern pinball machines dating back to the 1930s, visitors can enjoy unlimited play for a single admission fee. From retro machines from the 1960s to futuristic ones from the 2020s, there's something for everyone. The museum provides stools for younger players and also offers bottled beer from a local brewery for adults.
Walked in, paid for our Free Play bracelets and 2 tall boy cold beers. It was really, really fun and more laid back than I imagined. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly. We were visiting from Portland and love pinball! This was a great spot. Have to come back with my kids next time! ♿️🚻 2 story building, clean restrooms, and there's a wheelchair accessible elevator platform in the back to get people upstairs easily. It's a smaller space upstairs it feels like. Way more open below.

Came in to see the collection and play some good games! They have quite a variety of games varied by age, style, game play and etc! They offer drinks, beer and snacks while you are there to enjoy! The staff was friendly and it’s a very fair price.

It really interesting place to visit! They have a huge collection of pinball machines, ranging from vintage classics to more modern ones. It’s not just a museum where you look at things—you actually get to play the machines, which makes it a lot of fun. One of the great things is that they limit how many people can enter at a time. That means you don’t have to wait too long for machines, and it doesn’t feel too crowded. It helps keep the atmosphere relaxed and enjoyable. Overall, it was a unique and memorable experience—perfect for anyone who enjoys arcade games or just wants to try something a little different in Seattle.
Grace — Google review
The Seattle Pinball Museum is such a cool spot — the collection of machines is incredible, ranging from vintage classics to modern pinball games with lights, sound effects, and so much character. The unlimited play admission makes it easy to bounce around and enjoy everything without worrying about quarters, and the atmosphere inside is fun, nostalgic, and unique. That said, the person at the front counter really didn’t match the vibe of the place (went on an early Saturday evening). He came off as rude and dismissive, which was disappointing considering how upbeat the rest of the experience is. If you’re going to be the face of a pinball museum, it would be great to have someone who’s enthusiastic and welcoming. First impressions matter to me, and it just didn’t fit with the energy inside. I was also disappointed not to see the Foo Fighters pinball machine in the lineup — it feels like such a natural fit for a place like this (being in Seattle). Hopefully they add it in the future. Once you get past those things, though, it’s a fantastic experience and absolutely worth visiting.
Alyssa B — Google review
Well worth 2-3 hours. Classic, vintage pinball machines games ranging from the 1960s to present with many different themes. Admission for adults is $23. I loved the pulp fiction machine. The dude at the door knows a lot of the history and how some of these machines were procured.

Such a fun place and definitely worth the money!!! The museum has two floors of pinball, games ranging from the 1960s to present with many different themes. Admission for adults is $23. The three hours spent there went by so fast and I definitely got my moneys worth :)

Cool spot, games arranged by date. House rules are you can play two rounds per machine, then move on. Fantastic! Wish they charged by the hour... or wish I had more time to spend there. ;-)

Located in Chinatown, the Seattle Pinball Museum is a fun place to take kids of all ages. After paying an entry fee per person, you are allowed to play on any of the pinball machines or old school video games the museum houses. Basically this is an arcade with some brand new pinball machines and others that date back to the late 1950's. Along one wall are classic tables from 1959 to 1971. There are pinball games from the 1980's up through the present day. There are more pinball machines upstairs in addition to a few classic video games like Ms. Pac-Man, Missile Command, and Sea Wolf. Patrons are given a wristband that is good for the day allowing you to leave the museum and return after finding something to eat. This is a great way to spend a few hours relaxing with friends or taking a corporate retreat with coworkers.

After driving by this place so many times I finally have the chance to check it out. This is a unique gallery space, performance space with a bar. This is truly a unique gem on Capitol Hill. I was there to see future Pop princess Avery Cochran. I'm not sure what the capacity is but there was about 100 people there and it was a comfortable vibe. Easy to move around. Great bar, I wish the performance space had a small stage to lift the performers up above the crowd but that's probably the responsibility of the band to bring that equipment bring in staging. We met Diana the owner and Capitol Hill local and she's awesome. She's had this space for 12 years and has created a great space for artists in Seattle. Go see the gallery, have a drink, see a band. Enjoy.

Chihuly Glass Museum and Garden was so dope! I loved it! The glass structures were colorful and unique. I took lots of pictures. A wonderful gem under the Space Needle. Worth the $45 ticket price. So glad we didn't buy the combo ticket. The Space Needle line was out the door and snaked around inside. We didn't want to wait that long. Parking prices were atrocious! Absolutely ridiculous! The price plus two taxes and a service fee helped balloon the cost! And no parking security to roam around for that price either!

Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park is a captivating museum located in Seattle's Pioneer Square, commemorating the city's role in the 1890s gold rush. The two-floor museum, which serves as the park's visitor center, features an array of exhibits including photos, maps, personal letters, interactive displays, taxidermied animals, and a replica of a miner's cabin.
Neat and free museum about Seattle's early days and the Gold Rush 🤠💰 We just got back from a cruise to Alaska, and this museum is better than the one we explored in Skagway. They have way more artifacts and exhibits to see how life was in the late 1800s. Many interesting real-life stories of ordinary people and what they experienced. As a free museum, it's one of the coolest ways to burn some time as you wait for your hotel or the clock to move along. Big ole stamp of approval from me! ✅️✅️✅️

Awesome little museum, packed with info! The staff were super friendly, the exhibit was great, and there are restrooms on every floor. Plus, they have a gift shop. One thing though, I street parked and it was a pain – parking's really limited. And there were tons of homeless people around.
Kelly L — Google review
Free and a must visit if you are in the area. Plan to spend an hour or two here because many of the exhibits are interactive and the information presented is easy to digest. My favorite part of the museum is the theme that most folks were in the gold rush for the journey and adventure and most would do it again. I would definitely coming back and spend more time here when I am in Seattle.

Een happy spending 10 dollars for admission, but best of all this place is FREE. The video about how the Klondike happened was interesting, although I have seen the actual original first claim, and it doesn't look like it shows in the movie. I got to see how much I would be worth if I was gold, and well... Let's just say I'm a large man... I really enjoyed this and you should all check it out.

Dick's Drive-In is a long-standing fast-food chain with a devoted following, known for its handcrafted fries, burgers, and shakes. It's a quintessential Seattle experience to indulge in their Deluxe burger, fries, and chocolate shake at one of their six drive-up locations in the Seattle area. The original Wallingford location opened in 1954 and has since been joined by four additional spots across the city.
What a great dive! This is a walk-up or drive-thru only place! There is a stainless steel standing table for like 8 people if you eat your order there. But don't expect anything else for seating or a table. That said, you can't beat the price and taste! The buns were buttered and toasted to a perfect crispy toasty goodness to compliment the cheap burger it is holding. The fries are Crispy and has the skin on! Which is yummy! The milkshakes are thick and sweet! Definitely will be coming back again and again!

My friend from Washington took me here and I left very happy. Great burger. I liked the seasoning salt in it. Fun joint. Definitely a place with a fun vibe that you can crash at after an event. We luckily beat the traffic-just as we got sour food a big line formed. They get your food to you lightning fast. It was very impressive. I had the felled burger, fries, and a root beer float. It was all great.
Doug B — Google review
Pricing is excellent. Seattle is so expensive and traveling here is even more so, so I enjoyed having a burger at a reasonable price. Food itself was pretty good. The fries were nice and fresh, kinda similar to Five Guys. The burger was great. The meat tastes fresh and the burger itself comes together. I asked for no pickles but it seems like they pre make a batch of them so you can't take it off. It honestly wasn't too crazy because they tasted more like onions. Service was iffy. When ordering, after every item was said, the worker would said "okay" and the total. I had to say I'm not done and say the next thing I wanted. It wasn't crazy busy and they have the burgers on standby so I didn't get the rush. The old timey look of the place was cool! However, I know this isn't them but there was someone drumming outside the restaurant... It was extremely hard to hear the girl on the other side and I had to semi yell the order. It was annoying and loud. I can't imagine how frustrating it would be to stay there and eat. Overall, if you only care about getting in and out quickly, having a decent burger with great prices, you'll enjoy this place!

Lightning fast service and top notch burgers at a reasonable price! Don’t let lines scare you: they move super fast. We went during a pride event and even though there were huge lines, it took us less than 20 minutes and we got our food the second we paid. The got the deluxes and I got a coffee, and the burgers are good at the first bite, but it’s the aftertaste that’s best. Most surprisingly, the par coffee paired so well with the burger that it became exceptional. Highly recommend for a traditional genuine and affordable Seattle experience!

I’ve been coming here 2x week for almost 18 years and today was the worst service ever . This girl who took my order at 11:30am was rude , unprofessional and very unpleasant. Just cuz I ask about my soda thinking she might forgot cuz she only give me my food and ketchup she responded with a rude attitude remarks , slam the cash register and throw my $0.5 change back at me cuz I ask for ketchup. Why do people like this work I. Customers service if they have anger issues and don’t know how to control their emotions? She even said “ girl by “ to me when I said “ your manager should hear about your attitude “ after she slam the cash register at me and throw my coins back . Can’t ask much for Dicks . Just cuz I ask for ketchup and paid in cash she felt like it’s was more work for her . They lost a loyal customer and my business from today

Dick's Hamburger The prices are pretty good, but you have to pay extra for ketchup, etc., for the fries. Speaking of fries, they're good! Fried with skin and a brownish color—none of those pale, light-colored fries. The hamburger taste fresh but it's very avg. Nothing to write or tell about.

I hadn't been in the city for a while and was looking forward to coming here after my appointment. I was shocked that it wasn't packed but thankful. I was there less than 10 minutes. The only reason I'm writing this review is because I spent $14-$15 on a Deluxe, Fry, 2 tarters and Strawberry Shake to only receive the worst food ever. The fries had no flavor at all. Thanks to the tarter sauce, I was able to dip and disguise the blandness. The deluxe was so disappointing, I couldn't finish. The bun was so soggy and mushy. I've never had this experience at a Dick's. Please my good people, fix this! You all are too classic for bland food.

Running from September to June, the Pacific Northwest Ballet showcases a rich variety of works that include timeless classics and innovative new pieces.
What an incredible way to spend an evening mesmerized by artists who sacrifice so much to tell unforgettable stories through dance and movement. Support the classical arts and throw the tacky screens in the rubbish bin, your soul will thank you! 6 outta 5!

The PNW Ballet performance of “Jewels” was a visual and auditory delight and reflected the superb talents of the dancers as well as the orchestra.
Pandora S — Google review
We have been at several shows at PNB for classical and modern ballet. Overall it is a nice theater, well organized parking. The orchestra is excellent and the decorations at classical shows are great. The modern ballet shows are well choreographed and the dancers are good. For classical ballet the dancers are not so good, unfortunately. They just too big and physics don’t allow them to perform at high level, most of the dance elements are not performed at highest level, it is almost the real thing, but not quite. I am not sure if classical dance is not over, as it demands too much from the dancers. I agree with the comments about small children crying during the show. The theatre must have minimal age restriction, there is no way that 2 year old will be quite for two hours show.

I love coming to see Pacific Northwest Ballet! The company’s productions are top quality- the choreography, the dancing, the live music, the light design, the set design, the costuming… it’s an incredible privilege to have access to this level of art. Most of the country does not have ballet of this caliber and I’m blown away by the experience of witnessing humans coming together to create all of this live in front of me.

Amazing first time experience at McCaw hall ballet. Nutcracker was one of my favorite ballet! It brought me many childhood memories as my mom used to take me when I was a kid back in Europe. Classic Tchaikovsky music was always such a pleasure to listen. I love the costumes, the choreography the music, decorations everything was absolutely amazing. Only one thing I didn't like but it's not ballet related its more to McCaw hall. Coming from Europe and going my whole life to ballet & theatre we have amazing breaks with champagne small bites and fancy crostinis. The beer in plastic cup and selection of some donuts was absolutely disappointing. I took 1 champagne that they forced me to pour in plastic cup and it was so disgusting! I regret I took that drink I couldn't even finish it. I wish choices were more extravagant just like in Europe.
Swanky C — Google review
We had a fantastic time at the theater seeing The Nutcracker ballet. I sat with my granddaughter who explained it all to me as it went along...😊. Usually I’m not the biggest fan of ballet or plays or musicals, but at this venue with these seats and with my buddy by my side, I loved every moment of it! Not too long and not too brief, the show kept my attention with talented players and elaborate costumes and sets- and the music and sound system/acoustics were terrific!!! Can’t wait to go back!

I will never spend my time or money here again. I have a kind and quiet special needs teenager, who asked to exit twice for a break, rather than disturb anyone during the performance. When we exited, we walked a good 100 feet from the entry/exit door to quietly chat for no more than 10 minutes. We exited twice, once before intermission, and once after. The usher walked over to us the second time we exited and interrupted to inform us that exiting the performance is disturbing to the other patrons and warned that if we did it again, we would not be permitted back in. I was completely appalled. And my heart shattered knowing how she made my son feel. It took many many years to get my son to where he is today, which is to sit quietly in a theater for an hours-long performance that he loves. We are very proud of his progress. We have seen the nutcracker ballet in several major cities every year for most of his life. We have had to leave and go home as early as 10 minutes in, and have worked diligently year after year staying longer for each show, until finally being able to stay the whole show and just needing more breaks. However long the journey, today we are still needing to take just a couple more breaks than average people. I understand that the exiting can disturb some patrons, and for that we are devastatingly apologetic. But clearly this is not a ballet company that practices inclusiveness, for at the very least, there would be some protocol and training on how to appropriately address patrons experiencing these circumstances. Unfortunately, the PNB company is not for my family, or for any quiet family needing to exit the theater off schedule. The two stars are for the wonderful ballet dancers, musicians, and stage crew. Minus three stars for the usher’s rudeness, insensitivity, and the company’s policy (if that is what this case is). The snack/refreshment options and lack of seating during intermission left much to be desired as well.

The theater aims to make theater an integral part of public life, with its diverse programming.
This was a really fun show! Paying for jury duty was not something I ever considered. It was really clever how the questions made it interactive. As an immigrant, I will never be allowed, but this evening, I had the honor to be the entire theater’s foreperson. We reached a verdict!

NICE 👍 be glad when the construction is done to have some lighting on the side there. It was so dark! But it's really nice inside! Enjoyed the show 😀
Sheryl S — Google review
The stage is great, but the volunteers are even better! Truly a lovely venue for a concert, and when my daughter accidentally cut herself on a soda can she was stuffing into recycling, one of their volunteers noticed (I didn't even notice because I was trying to get out of the way of the other patrons near the bathroom). That volunteer and another came immediately to help find us some minor first aid, and I was so impressed. It was a tiny injury but so kind and observant of them. Fortunately, we'll be back for more performances simply because the venue is lovely, but I'll never forget how thoughtful and kind the volunteers were 🫶

If you enjoy theatre but not the huge amount of people like bigger venues have, this is the place. They always have a great mix of events, and even when I attend something I know nothing about, I leave very happy. Very talented people and wonderful theatres.

Excellent theater. We've started coming with our kids (9 & 11) since they've out grown the children's theater. We've only done two shows, but they've been very well put together and enjoyable. Bathrooms are clean, theater itself is in excellent condition, staff is very friendly.

Great venue for Seattle theater. Beautiful stage, good seating, concessions with hard and soft drinks, candy, even ice cream. Very nice atmosphere supporting the arts. It was easy to find out seats, everything is modern and in good working order. Nothing bad to say about it!

Fabulous production, and the House staff is outstanding. We needed a little extra help, and accessible seating - the staff was way ahead of the game at all times; they could not have been more helpful and personable.

Their customer service and box office representatives are atrocious. We got our vouchers and unfortunately missed the end of the season and still got two tickets unused on this voucher. The answer we received upon contacting the box office was pretty much- "we are unable and unwilling to honor your voucher. Bye!" No a touch of an understanding, no offered discount for the show as a one time gesture (I was asking about booking the specific show) but keep an eye on the tickets due day next time type of deal... nothing! We have been going to this theatre shows for many years, but it is not pleasant to support a place that places zero value for their visitors and supporters.

Visitors can learn about the diverse tribes and cultures of North America through various exhibits, including pottery and other artifacts. My kids and I went to see the art and have a picnic here and we had a great welcome from park rangers who noticed I left my door open! We had a picnic at the spot behind the cultural center where a few wood ducks were. We had planned to walk to North Beach which is a 20 min walk according to Maps but the kids got tired playing on the stairs... This area is stunning and immerses you in history. Watch out some slippery spots from mud but nothing a 3-yr old couldn't handle

What a shame! Looms abandoned and run down. Make employee out front on phone going on and on about nonsense was not the peaceful entrance I expected. Empty and random metal folding chairs on lower level. A few pieces of art upstairs horribly displayed. Gift shop closed because employee didn’t show up, we asked as the sign said open but it was not. Gorgeous statue being ignored outside and a pile of dead potted plants strewn about. No maintenance or upkeep And a single overgrown look out. Terrible!!

Stonington Gallery is a contemporary three-level space that showcases the arts and crafts of Northwest Coast Native Americans. The gallery offers a stunning collection of artwork from artists in the Pacific Northwest and Alaska, featuring beautiful indigenous pieces as well as prints by non-indigenous artists. The friendly and helpful staff provide excellent customer service, allowing visitors to store their belongings at the desk for easy maneuverability around the gallery.
A truly gorgeous gallery with an amazing selection of art! I really appreciate how they have prints and unframed art to make owning art more accessible for people with lower means. The staff are kind, passionate, and generous with their time and knowledge. The gallery is clean, bright, well-organized, easy to walk through, wheelchair accessible, and comfortable in temperature. The selection is a fantastic representation of local Indigenous art, with credit given to specific Tribes and their artists--I learned a lot and was so impressed with the range. It's a great stop on my weekly Pioneer Square walks!

One of my favorite galleries downtown Seattle focusing on Native American art they have a vast collection of sculptures, lithographs, originals, jewelry and even baskets made by artisans. We have several pieces from them and can’t wait to get more

This gallery is one of the nicer galleries focusing on Northwestern Native American people. Everything on the gallery is HIGH quality from the sculptures, to the prints, lithographs, jewelry and traditional face masks. The staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable, which I appreciated. If into the work, I would highly recommend it, it will not disappoint.

Beautiful gallery!! An excellent collection of art from artists around the Pacific Northwest and Alaska. Employees were friendly and helpful. I had a suitcase with me (on a layover) and was able to store my bag by the desk, so I could maneuver around the gallery better. Most of the artists are indigenous, however there are a few prints from non-indigenous artists as well. All in all, a lovely gallery with stunning pieces of work!

Wonderful gallery with great art and fabulous staff. Artwork in image is by local artist Raya Friday.
Paula S — Google review
This is a superb gallery of Pacific Northwest Native American art, lovingly curated and carrying the work of some of the best-known local artists. (There's also some art by non-indigenous artists, clearly marked as such.) The art includes glass, woven baskets, jewelry, painting and prints, and sculpture. The staff are knowledgeable about the art and artists and more than happy to share. You get a very strong impression that for them, this is a labor of love and even of service to the artists. Prices range from ~$100 for smaller pieces of jewelry to $30K and higher for the more monumental pieces. I'm absolutely not an expert on the market, but it seems comparable to similar galleries carrying similar pieces and more than fair for the quality. If you have even a minimal interest in Native American arts of the Pacific Northwest, this shop is worth a visit. The location, right of Pioneer Square, is home to several other art galleries.

The center is located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and it is well worth a visit if you're interested in learning more about the Holocaust.
I went to this museum for a school project with my friends. This museum was so creative and riveting. I may have shed a few tears but it opened my eyes so much. I was lucky enough to speak to some of the survivors of the holocaust and some of the grandchildren. I learned so much from here. The staff was friendly enough to offer us some food and said we need our nutrients and energy. To experience the full holocaust museum I suggest watching the video documentary first then starting on the right and working your way down.

We booked a special tour as a work team. Our guides were so passionate about what they do and the history they are preserving and sharing with kids and adults alike. It was inspiring to have them share their vision and goal of the center while also taking us through the stories preserved there. The stories here are from survivors and provide such an amazing insight into that time. If you have a chance to stop by when they are open or book your own special tour I would highly recommend it!

Small but powerful educational space highlighting the terror and genocide of the Holocaust through the eyes of Seattle-area survivors. Excellent introductory movie, well designed exhibits, and personal objects from local families tell the story. Also, rare objects on loan from Auschwitz and a large library of related materials for all ages.

At the time the traveling Ann Frank exhibit was on venue. The docent was so amazing and the activities after were geared for the school kids we came with to process exhibit. I met interesting people there to connect with from other Faith's, in which we discussed the Holocaust theme of 'Never Forget' . Some are saying the Holocaust never happened. That is why this place serves a very important purpose to educate and remind the world of causeless hate.

I brought my daughter last year to the Anne Frank exhibit. It was fantastic! We are looking forward to the Nazi Persecution of Homosexuals September 11, - Oct 31, 2016. We love it so much we are thinking of becoming members.

I attended the Center to view a special traveling exhibit from the National Holocaust Museum in Washington, D.C. on Nazi Persecution of Homosexuals during the Holocaust. The Center has a very nice way to access its exhibits. You call and make an appointment for the morning or afternoon of the day you choose to attend. Admission is free, and donations are accepted. I attended this exhibition because, as a Gay man and activist, I have always felt it's a real possibility to be annihilated by homophobia, either from an individual or from my own government, if it were led by homophobic leaders who turn our constitutional government into a tyranny. It can happen here. The Holocaust Center in Seattle is a wonderful resource. The photo I share is from my visit on September 14.

Northwest Tribal Art is a gallery in Pike Place Market showcasing museum-quality artwork from various Northwest native tribes such as the Makah, Tlingit, and Salish. The collection includes prints, carvings, jewelry, masks, and more. Visitors can also learn about the native cultures of the area. The store offers a variety of budget-friendly items like art cards and provides services such as storing bags for travelers. The knowledgeable staff adds to the experience by sharing stories behind the pieces.
Really good native PNW art from the artisans. Not cheap, but there are some less expensive items. Helps that the shopkeepers really know the stories behind the pieces, makes for a much better experience. Also, they ship, so if you're a tourist like me, you don't have to stress about getting something delicate and expensive home in your bag.

Beautiful store with magnificent Northwest Coast art. It's a must-see to simply look at the wonderful variety of artwork. I have gotten several things from here, such as a t-shirt with a killer whale and a book that informs the reader of this great culture and art style. If you're looking for a more budget-friendly gift, I highly recommend the art cards. They range from $16-$20 and have a great variety of styles and prints. They look great in an 8x10 frame!

I wish I could give negative stars. I had the unlucky pleasure of trusting this business with my bags (they also host a baggage storage company inside.) MY PURSE WAS STOLEN FROM THIS STORE WHILE THE SHOP ATTENDANT NEGLECTED TO PAY ATTENTION TO THE BAGGAGE AREA. I have lost over $2,000 in items and electronics. Not even so much as an APOLOGY from the store owner, no acknowledgement or anything whatsoever. These people are disgusting crooks with zero regard for liability. DO NOT STORE YOUR LUGGAGE HERE OR GIVE THESE PEOPLE BUSINESS. I am absolutely disgusted with these people, there are no words.

This is a special Gallery. The variety of mediums is large even in a small space which manages to be uncrowded and beautifully displayed plus keeps to the Pacific Northwest roots & culture. Exquisite, talented pieces of varying prices for everyone. Curators understand the pieces and the artists and are happy to share with you their knowledge should you ask. A must for me every time I visit Seattle.

I was visiting from the midwest and actually happened upon this space. The staff member I spoke with was named Anette and she was simply lovely. She was able to provide me information about the artist that made the experience that more special. The pieces in here are lovely and fairly affordable, but if you’re like me and didn’t have the money to spend there are still cute gifts available. That said, they can ship anything in the store, but only hold items for a very very limited time. So if you see something you should just get it. Overall, if you’re looking for a quiet place to recharge and view some incredible artwork, then this is the space for you!
