Three Brothers Bakery is a cherished family-owned establishment that has been delighting taste buds since 1949. Located in Houston, this bakery is renowned for its custom cakes and delectable pecan pies, alongside an impressive selection of Jewish baked goods like rugelach and challah.
Update**I recently had an issue with a king cake I purchased, but I was pleasantly surprised when the regional manager contacted me to address my concerns. They offered to replace the stale king cake with a fresh one, which I truly appreciated. The arrangement for pickup was smooth, and once again, the staff was extra friendly and accommodating. Their excellent customer service turned my experience around completely. I’m excited to enjoy the fresh king cake and look forward to my next visit! I visited Three Brothers Bakery today and purchased a king cake, hoping for a delightful treat. Unfortunately, it was hard, cold, and tasted stale, as if it had been made days ago rather than fresh today. I was quite disappointed, given the bakery's reputation. On a positive note, the staff was very nice and helpful, which is why I’m giving it two stars instead of one.

Iris was amazing in helping me secure goodies for our Q2 birthdays at work. Most definitely appreciate the care 😊 n packing them up so flavors didn't smear or get onto other Cupcakes in transport, and so it was easy to remove them without touching another person's cupcake.
Melinda D — Google review
8/10/24: I wanted to try the Strawberry Cake Slice but it looked like the customer service team were too busy to acknowledge my presence so I might come back another day when they’re not so busy. The 2 stars instead of 1 is because the cake looked good from a distance. 8/12/24: I was warmly greeted as I was looking at the cake I wanted and the representative was very accommodating in providing a positive customer service experience. My cake and cinnamon roll tasted very good. Overall a better visit than a couple of days ago.

I love this location staff friendly and i love that they know me because i'm here way too much. The kolache's here are way better than the kolache factory or Shipleys you think I'm lying try them!

My friend ordered me a birthday cake- one person. They charged him $65. I called immediately and asked for a single later cake. They bumped the price down to $40. The manager could barely communicate on the phone. She couldn’t find my cake. Then, she couldn’t confirm the refund…She literally yelled at me on the phone when I asked her to slow down and enunciate because I could not understand her. She continued the rudeness when I picked up the cake. I noticed a single layer cake for $25 in the case in the bakery. Clearly, we were over sold. Ripped off. My friend clearly stated he was ordering a cake for one person. The cake looked pretty, but tasted just like a grocery store sugary sweet cake. Take your business elsewhere! A bakery should literally be a warm and inviting place where people feel welcome.
Trish D — Google review
They make a tasty no sugar added cheese cake and we picked a slice up today. My wife has great willpower and usually takes one bite, which means I don't have to share much of it. Yes, it's that good. They make great coffee drinks. We imbibed in a couple of the these and a pound of dark roast Costa Rican coffee beans. I hope they start making a few keto goodies. Stopped in for a slice of no sugar added cheese cake and remembered they make a pretty good coffee drink. My wife got an iced mocha coffee, a cup full of gingerbread button cookies, and a bag of whole bean medium dark roast for me. I went with a hot cappuccino with 2 splendas and a full of sugar cookie that looked too good to pass up.
Thc P — Google review
We went here because they are next to Burger Bodega. The shop is really nice and the food looks amazing. However, I got the red velvet cupcake, and it tasted no different than a box of cake mix in terms of texture and fluffiness. Maybe the vanilla would have been better. Although the price is fair considering the sheer size of the cupcake and the craftsmanship. I will try them again, so maybe I will be able to update this review.
Gahriel M — Google review
I have been at this location multiple times, and it's always been delicious. But I made a mistake by ordering a large cake. The person who took my order incorrectly didn't listen to what I wanted at all. I didn't have a choice but to take the cake, so I did, and no one liked the cake it was dry and didn't taste good. I will never buy anything from here again.

Bakery
Nestled at the intersection of River Oaks and Montrose, French Gourmet Bakery has been a beloved family-owned café since 1973. This charming spot is renowned for its delightful blend of French and American baked goods, making it a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth. The bakery boasts an impressive array of treats, from buttery croissants to rich eclairs and whimsical sugar cookies that are almost too cute to eat!
I had a wonderful experience at my favorite French Bakery thanks to Sara. She greeted me w a warm smile the moment I walked in and was incredibly patient as I asked questions about the different pastries. Her knowledge of the menu and recommendations were perfect and she was attentive to detail. I felt more like a guest rather than a customer. The fresh cup of coffee was awesome! Thanks Sara! KM

I purchased a Too Good To Go surprise box from this bakery, expecting a good deal as advertised. They claimed the value would be $21, but for $6.99, I only received one bag of dinner rolls and two cookies. Based on their regular pricing, the total value didn’t come close to what was promised. It felt more like a way to offload leftover food rather than offering a true surprise deal. The food itself was just okay. I’ve tried Too Good To Go from other places and always received much better value. This experience was disappointing and felt misleading. To make matters worse, the staff didn’t seem friendly or welcoming, and it was clear they weren’t interested in helping customers. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend buying a Too Good To Go box from this bakery. Save your time and money by going elsewhere!

I ordered an entire Italian cream cake as a birthday cake for my husband and it did not disappoint! I had my wedding cake made here in 1984 and haven’t been back for years and I was thrilled to see it was still in business. The cake was moist, layered and perfection. I grabbed a couple of coconut macaroons and lemon cookies as well and they were all delicious. Definitely gourmet. Good place to grab a coffee and a French pastry for breakfast. Cute tables and chairs are available to eat at inside. I will continue to recommend and come back again and again
Terese R — Google review
Found this place when searching for fresh baguettes. Their baguette is the best in the city - perfect crust, explodes with texture and so soft and fresh inside. Pair with Red Beans & Rice , fantastic experience! Plus the sweets are crazy good - never had a better coconut macaroon - ever!!

Cakes were fabulous. They were for the Baby Shower for my first grandchild (granddaughter). The guests loved them. French Gourmet Bakery is outstanding in every respect.
Mark S — Google review
This is a beautiful place to grab some baked goods. I will preface with I had a sandwich. The baguette was a great texture and flavor. The sandwich overall was basic, but fresh and on great bread. Everything looked incredible in the cases though. I will have to come back and try some of the other items to get that 5th star. I will say the cookie was excellent though! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful which adds to the experience. Plenty of parking too!
Blake P — Google review
Went today to check out what's on the cake menu. The staff definitely knows their product. They helped me decide on the Strawberry Daubache 1/4 sheet cake. Prices are very good for a bakery/cafe in River Oaks 👌

This place is so lovely!! Their baked goods are too amazing-omg! And when I came in Sara was so friendly and professional, she was able to help me with everything I needed-I’ll totally be back! 💗💗

Fluff Bake Bar, owned by the talented Rebecca Masson, is a delightful gem nestled in Houston's Midtown. Known as Houston's own 'Sugar Fairy,' Rebecca honed her pastry skills at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris and has an impressive background that includes competing on Bravo’s Top Chef: Just Desserts. Since opening Fluff Bake Bar, she has garnered numerous accolades, including being named Best Bakery in the South by Southern Living Magazine.
Walked over and shared the bourbon pecan tart (tasted very much like a butter tarts, in all the good ways). A bacon fat gingersnap, star crossed lover (which is like a rice crispier treat, dipped in chocolate) Everything delicious

I come here almost every weekend. This is hands down my favorite bakery in Houston. I recommend it to as many people as I can. I normally come for the cookies, but lately I’ve been trying more things. Trust me, everything here is PHENOMENAL! I read some of the other reviews & saw some people leaving negative comments about the service. Every interaction I have had with the workers (and owner) has been great. The owner is funny, sweet, & quite frankly a genius. How she came up with such beautiful recipes is mind blowing!! Thanks for always providing amazing sweets & even better service. 🫶🏽 *side note I’m currently eating a unicorn bait in bed lol*
Christopher P — Google review
The fudgiest brownie I have ever had. Best Bakery I’ve reviewed so far. The depth and ingenuity of their flavors is one of a kind. The staff is patient and conscientious of dietary restrictions. The cookies are chewy and slightly crisp. I had the gooey butter cookie, the party brownie, and a coffee toffee chcolate chip. All were divine.
Farwa H — Google review
We've been coming to Fluff for over 10 years, starting when they were in the previous location. Everything we've ever had there has been incredible, but the couch potato cookie is by far the best cookie I've ever eaten in my life. It has the perfect amount of chewiness and the textures and flavors are just AMAZING! We live around 45 minutes away, but we will go out of our way to stop in for cookies. The unicorn bait and bacon fat ginger snap are other favorites, but you can't go wrong with any of the options. The owner is delightful, and every staff member is friendly and helpful.
Maggie S — Google review
When I go somewhere to get a sweet treat it’s because I want a little extra joy in my day. Today was my second time at Fluff Bake Bar and most likely my last. Both times I visited I was greeted with cold stares and an uninviting atmosphere. The treats are okay but nothing to write home about, basic flavors & bland cookies. As a customer I want to feel welcomed and respected where I spend my money, but here I felt rushed and unappreciated.
Peter — Google review
They might have good dessert but it’s perhaps the most uninviting dessert shop I have ever been to. The owner of this place comes accross very cold and aloof. I feel like an inconveneince as soon as I walk in, all the 3 times I have been to this place. One time could be attributed to having a bad day which is fine, but 3/3 times seems like a cultural workplace issue. Sticking to Red Dessert Dive from now on.
Abby B — Google review
Fluff is our favorite bakery in Houston! Everything on their menu from the baked goods to the homemade ice cream to the Saturday morning breakfast specials are so yummy and keeps us coming back for more! The owner and her staff are friendly and welcoming. The owner also goes above and beyond to contribute to the community which is a big plus for this local gem!
Jessica Z — Google review
Great place for coffee and cookies. Bourbon pecan pie on chocolate was delicious. You can sit and enjoy. The owner was there and she's a very nice person. We had the recommendation from Eat like a local TV show and worth it to come. Recommended

El Bolillo Bakery is a traditional Mexican bakery chain known for its handmade breads, pies, cookies, and cakes. With multiple locations in Houston including Airline Drive, Wayside Drive in Gulfgate, and the East End, this beloved panaderia offers a wide variety of Mexican pastries such as hojarascas, churros, conchas, and their signature bolillos.
What an amazing array of 🍰 pastries. A go to spot if you are close to one of their locations. So many items in which to choose for everyone's taste. I am sure their custom cake are delish. We picked out 14 items for 20$. They were are scrumptious.

I was in heaven when I went here. There are so many great things to eat here. I could not decide what I wanted. I really wanted one of everything. Out of what i bought, the favorite thing I ate was the croissant with cream cheese in it. Go here, you will not be disappointed.
Jana H — Google review
Disappointed. I ordered a Hello Kitty heart-shaped cake a week in advance for my daughter’s birthday. During the ordering process, I was told the cake would cost extra due to the heart shape, which I agreed to. We discussed the size, shape, and design in detail. However, when I arrived to pick it up on the day of the party, I was extremely disappointed to find that the cake did not resemble a heart at all. I was shocked that they would present the cake as ‘acceptable’ in that condition. When I raised my concern, I was told the shape couldn’t be clearly defined because it was a smaller 10” cake. If that was the case, it should have been clearly communicated at the time of ordering. not at pickup when it’s too late to make other arrangements. I had also asked for “Happy Birthday” to be written on top with a small Hello Kitty image at the bottom. Instead, they said the text didn’t fit on the top and had to place it around the base, which wasn’t what I envisioned. What frustrated me most was that I paid extra for a heart shape and didn’t receive it. They offered to redo the borders in an hour, but I was already on a tight schedule and far from the party and didn’t have time to wait. I asked for a discount and was only offered $15 off. Unfortunately, I had no choice but to accept it and move on sadly, my daughter was left to take birthday pictures with a deformed/undefined cake. The only saving grace was that the cake and frosting did taste good, but overall, I was very unhappy with the service and how the situation was handled. For future customers, I would advise clear communication and setting realistic expectations, especially when you’re charging extra for a specific custom shape.

Great tamales! 3 tamales + soda drink is $4.99. Place is clean. Great customer service! We will be back.

Tamales have a Tex-Mex flavor, Not Mexican. 😑 No salsa is inside the tamal and has too much cumin and salt flavor. Price $7.49 for a half dozen. I purchased chicken & pork 🥴 🥐 Sweet bread is good 👍

As a bakery, El Bolillo is unmatched. Its cakes, fresh breads, and unique churros are guaranteed to satisfy with every product you try. Always fresh and delicious. Highly recommended!

This place was packed! That's always a good sign. There weren't any gluten-free options for me, but I bought some fresh out of the oven marranitos, conchas, and other sweet breads. It smelled so good!

This place is great for sweet bread , but fair warning with popular places they get packed inside so expect organized chaos lol but overall damn good experience

So I usually only come here for other people but today celebrating my cancer anniversary I decided to see if they had a cheesecake got the cherry toppings and I do not regret it. So the best cheesecake that I've tasted came from this restaurant but They lost their touch however this place seems like they never dropped the ball period my mom loves their chocolate cake and my ex loves their red velvet cookies but their cheesecake it's out of this world!! omfg I will be back!!
Mira G — Google review
We finally gave Dessert Gallery a try and ordered two slices of cake: lemon blueberry and red velvet. Unfortunately, neither really impressed us. The flavors were just okay — not bad, but nothing memorable either. We've definitely had better elsewhere. We were also expecting a more inviting atmosphere. The interior felt underwhelming and lacked the charm or elegance we thought it might have. Overall, it didn’t quite live up to the hype. It was an okay visit, but not one we’re in a hurry to repeat.
Bella C — Google review
The cake was mid, and cookies were nothing special 😭 I don’t understand the hype. I ordered the strawberry crunch cake there was nothing crunchy about it, and it kind of had fridge taste to the icing, and extremely sweet. The cake balls were good, but how can you possibly mess those up? Not worth the $$ we spent $22 on 2 cookies, cake ball and a cake. We only got a free cookie because they told us that snickerdoodle sold out I guess they had 1 left over and still put it in with our order, thank you for that. Unfortunately, it wasn’t anything special that will make me want to come here again! I’d rather order from Tiff Treats and receive fresh warm cookies, they never disappoint.
Anahi S — Google review
I was really excited to try this place but was sadly disappointed after. The billionaire brownie was not as described in my opinion. The brownie had hardly any pecans, no gold flakes, and had this unpleasant ganache/jelly on top. The pecan cake was a bit dry and tasted like maple syrup. The strawberry cup cake was a little dry, had good flavor, but was very sweet. My boyfriend liked the banana pudding and said the oatmeal cookie was ok. The price we paid for everything was not worth it!
Chelsey R — Google review
Place is great for people looking for vegan and gluten free desserts. Plenty of options. Their brownies are one of my favorite. Staff are really friendly. Wish they open a location in Katy too.
Kaushik V — Google review
I'd taken someone out for their birthday, and we went here for dessert. We both love cheesecake, and this place came up with in a search of "cheesecake near me." We both had a slice of New York style cheesecake with strawberry topping, and it was truly outstanding! The slice was a 'proper size', the texture was as perfect as I've had, and the flavor what spot-on. Everything a slice of cheesecake should be. I will certainly be back!

Visited tonight on our weekend getaway from Round Rock, TX. A wonderful stop for your sweet tooth, especially late night!! Lots of folks, but service was quick and staff were friendly. I had a lemon bar and my son got the Rocky Road Sheet Cake! We each shared a bite and both were delicious! Would highly recommend!

Having honed his skills in Michelin-starred restaurants worldwide, he returned to Houston to bring the taste of authentic French bread and pastries to his hometown. The bakery offers a variety of delicious treats such as organic artisan baguettes and fluffy croissants that draw long lines of eager customers.
Worth the money and worth the wait, hands down. Finally was able to try it and I’m blown away everything was SO GOOD! Got one of a bunch of things to try and haven’t had any that I didn’t love. The croissant bread pudding is the new love of my life it’s amazing!
Laura H — Google review
Magnol is recommend on many posts, and Mademoiselle Louise is closed two days in a week, so I decided to give it a try. Croissants are good, I prefer a thicker and crunchier outer later. But very close to being authentic. You can see pastry chefs working hard through the glass window. Most people get a lot of breads and croissants to go There are small tables outside but it is just too hot and uncomfortable to sit outside.

I have been coming to this little French bakery for a while now. My normal practice is I visit the place many times before I post a review about it. So, after I found out about this place from social media, ranking this place high on their croissants, I have decided to visit. Without making it a long review since it has only 2 stars, here are the highlights: Food = 3 stars, above average, freshly made. Service = 1 star, they have succeeded in achieving Parisian attitudes. Some are nice, many are dead inside, some cannot be bothered. Asked her about why no prices posted anywhere near any products. She appeared annoyed, you just have to ask for the price (thats probably 30+ diff products.) Expect long wait in the morning. The worker's attitudes reflex management. Atmosphere: small charming design, but located in a less than average area. Recommendation: Don't go out of your way to try, you are not missing much. Many good bakeries are popping up in Houston in the last 5 years.

This place is incredible with their selection of DECADENT desserts, flavored Coffees, Expressos, Teas pastries, and more ! We got a couple pastries and a ham & grilled cheese ! It was around $45 for my grill cheese with ham & a couple pastries. So in my humble opinion - They are also waaaaaay overpriced ! We've been a few times and it seems at times. I have been charged for items that were put into my bag that I didn't even order, so it has happened twice !!! It was all wonderful tasting! No doubt, it IS absolutely TOP NOTCH EXQUISITE !! but I certainly didn't order all of it...Buyer beware ! check your order before ya leave! It is without doubt WONDERFUL TASTING expensive food !!!

Finally tried Magnol. Worth every penny. I didn't try any of the breads yet, I will have to come back. I got linzer tarts, lemon raspberry roll, opera cake and croissants. Every single one of them absolutely delicious and possibly some of the best croissants in town. Highly recommend trying each of them and one croissant is just not enough.

Always love visiting! Everything is fresh and delicious. The line was out the door when we arrived but the staff was very efficient.
Gabriel S — Google review
This place is really good. We got the Paris brest, the pistachio eclair, the canele, the chocolate almond croissant, the passionfruit cheesecake, and the Mille-feuille. Everything was good but the eclair, Mille-feuille, and croissant is what we’d get again. We wanted a chocolate cookie but there was a delay between when I got there and when the next batch would be ready. The only gripe I had was there wasn’t a label on all of the items offered so I was picking blind a bit Came back to try the coffee eclair and the passionfruit mango eclair, both of which were good. The lemon meringue tart was even better The pear caramel danish was just fine. The banana Nutella danish was great. The chocolate chip cookie is fine The cinnamon roll is really good - light but flavorful. The raspberry vanilla cruffin is decent but I wouldn’t get again. The strawberry almond chocolate croissant wasn’t great for me - too much going on for flavor. I’d opt for strawberry almond next time The blueberry financier was ok and the chocolate hazelnut croissant wasn’t great

Bakery
Badolina Bakery & Cafe is a delightful fusion of Israeli baking and Houston's vibrant culinary scene. Founded by the team behind Doris Metropolitan and Hamsa, this charming bakery in Rice Village offers a unique selection of pastries inspired by traditional Israeli flavors. From shakshuka focaccia to pistachio baklava croissants, each item reflects the owners' childhood memories in Israel.
If you like your cafe latte a little more robust like they serve in Europe, then this is the place for you! Great coffee flavor. I had their “Sunburst “ pastry, which is stuffed with eggplant and tahini. It was very good, although could have done with a little less dough. Love the Rice Village atmosphere on their patio!

This is such a cozy spot. An employee from Vuori recommended I visit because I did not plan on going to Starbucks for something to drink, I’m so grateful for her recommendation as well as the amazing lavender matcha on recommendation from one of the baristas that worked there. The staff seems very friendly and the location was a bit difficult to find with the trees covering signage in the front, but I’d say that adds to the effect this spot would be great on a sunny day in spring. I tried three different cookies, white chocolate macadamia, which was really good. The chocolate chip I’d say it was all right, but the walnut pecan one was absolutely my favorite. There were so many different options. It was hard to choose so I definitely had to stick with a safe choice and get cookies. But overall, this would be a great place to study at.

A Little Slice of Heaven in Rice Village! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Badolina Bakery & Cafe is an absolute gem, and I can't recommend it enough! Their Rice Village location is perfect, offering a wonderful atmosphere that's both bustling and cozy. Every visit has been a delight, thanks to their consistently friendly staff who always make you feel welcome. And the food? Oh, the food! Everything I've tried has been delicious, but the croissants are truly out of this world – flaky, buttery perfection that melts in your mouth. The shakshuka sandwich is another standout; it's a unique and incredibly flavorful option that I crave regularly. Whether you're looking for a quick coffee and pastry or a more substantial meal, Badolina delivers. It's quickly become one of my favorite spots in Houston!

Badolina is a charming little corner for lovers of sweets and comforting breakfasts! From the moment you enter, the aroma of freshly baked cakes and coffee envelops you, making it impossible not to smile. Their selection of sweets is a delight: from fluffy cupcakes with super cute decorations to crispy cookies and desserts that look like small works of art. Everything shows that it is made with love and quality ingredients. Breakfasts are not far behind. They have options for all tastes: from classic chilaquiles with a homemade touch to golden waffles with fresh fruits and honey. The portions are generous, perfect to start the day with energy or to share in a quiet morning. In addition, the atmosphere is cozy, ideal to go with friends, family or even to work for a while while enjoying a coffee.

Wow! Now that was a great cup of coffee! The baked goods looked incredible, and you can tell it’s a local favorite because it fills up fast by 11 a.m. I’d definitely recommend going earlier if you’re craving some peace and serenity. So worth it; definitely a must-try spot!

Favorite bakery and they have my favorite cardamom buns which are so difficult to find in Texas, tasted just like the ones from Europe! Their coffee is good too and I tried a pistachio croissant which had real pistachio filling. Also everything is vegetarian which is a plus! Very aesthetic and cute patio

Cozy coffee shop with bakery. I had quiche with squash and sweet potatoes and pistachio cheesecake both very good. Place is pretty small and noisy.
Petr S — Google review
Small cozy cafe with a few indoor and outdoor seating. They have many delicious sweets at a decent price. Their almond raspberry and pistachio croissants are the best. The only downside is they run out fast throughout the day. Happy hour starts 1 hour before closing so you can get most goods for half off.

Common Bond Bistro & Bakery in Montrose is a charming rustic-chic cafe and bakery known for its delectable sweet pastries and seasonal savory dishes. The acclaimed chefs at Common Bond have introduced two custom-designed Valentine's Cakes, available for pre-order online until February 10th. The 'Gnome Matter What' Cake features handcrafted fondant gnomes and comes in various flavors, while the Cupid's Heart Cake with buttercream frosting is perfect for a romantic celebration.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ 4.5 / 5 (My Rating) Visit Common Bond Bistro & Bakery (Montrose) absolutely delivered. We left STUFFED and happy. Pastries We started with a kouign-amann (basically an upside-down croissant) and it was AMAZING!!flaky, caramelized, buttery perfection. We also had the Raspberry Chocolate Chip Muffin and my wife absolutely loved it. Brunch: We split the Eggs Benedict and the portion was HUGE. The hollandaise was perfect and the egg was cooked just right. Drinks I had the Morning Bun Latte which somehow hit that perfect sweet spot. It had the perfect balance of sweetness and coffee. To top it off, my wife’s Pumpkin Spice Latte was literally better than Starbucks, she said it came sweet and with the right amount of pumpkin 🎃 . Service The woman greeted us at the pastry counter was so sweet and patient. However, the male cashier made us feel a bit rushed even though there wasn’t a line, which took a little shine off the experience. Overall Food and drinks were AMAZING, portions were HUGE, and we’re definitely coming back. If not for feeling rushed at checkout, this would be a perfect score. P.S. They also don’t give you dining in glasses if you order a large coffee, you have to ask for it separately. Which is no problem, just a heads up 😎

The place looks nice, the food looks so beautiful but some of them looked better than they tasted. The flatbread we got was pretty good as were the fries, the kids loved them. The sweets that we got were kinda bland. I personally liked the almond croissant and coconut macaroon. Parking is limited but we were able to get a spot fairly fast. Tables inside were small and the chairs uncomfortable, but if you’re just sitting down for a quick meal they’re fine. I’d expect them to be bad for people who were planning on staying and working from here.

This was our first time visiting, and while the experience ended on a high note, it didn’t start that way. We had a few questions about the menu, and unfortunately, our barista’s attitude was surprisingly dismissive. When I asked about the white chocolate mocha, she curtly replied, “This isn’t Starbucks.” The audacity! I politely explained that I was a first-time guest—and also a local food guide—and her demeanor shifted immediately. Thankfully, a more experienced staff member stepped in and took over our order. She was incredibly attentive, making sure our coffee was not only delicious but beautifully presented. She even went the extra mile to ensure our pastry was freshly made and photo-ready. To be completely honest, the coffee and pastry were outstanding—worth every sip and bite. My only recommendation for the management team would be to reinforce the importance of customer service. First impressions matter, and you never know who’s walking through the door or what their reason for visiting might be. That said, this spot is absolutely worth a visit. I’ll be back!

Common Bond Montrose is a must-visit! The pastries are top-notch—especially the buttery croissants. The brunch menu is fantastic; the Chef’s Scramble and Avocado Smash are personal favorites. The coffee is always smooth, and the atmosphere is bright and welcoming. Whether you're grabbing a quick treat or enjoying a leisurely brunch, this spot never disappoints.

Here’s a polished and heartfelt 5-star Google Maps review for Common Bond Coffee & Bakery, with a special shoutout to Ms. Ariam: ★★★★★ Amazing Bakery with Incredible Service! My first visit to Common Bond Coffee & Bakery was an absolute delight, thanks in large part to Ms. Ariam! As first-timers, we were a little unsure what to order, but she was so patient, kind, and gave us fantastic recommendations. Her warmth and professionalism made the experience even better. We tried the **Kouign-Amann** and **Cranberry Orange Scone**—both were absolutely amazing! The Kouign-Amann was buttery, flaky, and perfectly caramelized, while the scone had the ideal balance of tart cranberry and zesty orange. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the service from Ms. Ariam and the team truly stood out. Can’t wait to come back and try more treats! Highly recommend this place.

Would recommend and love to come again! I came for breakfast at around 9:30 during a weekend - not crowded. The shakshuka crossiant is a special dish: a bowl-shaped crossiant, with a running egg and tomato-based sause inside. Very tasty even for me who is not a fan of tomato-flavored dishes. It's like a pasta but with crossiant instead. The bottom of the crossiant won't be crispy because of the gravy inside, but it still tastes well with its buttery flavor. Kouign Amann is crispy and reasonable in sweetness. Matcha latte is great - there is a bit of sweetness instead of a strongly bitter matcha flavor, but the sweetness is not strong and just right.

Moeller's Bakery is a well-known bakery in Philadelphia that specializes in classic petit fours, cookies, cheese straws and other pastries. The bakery has been around since 1930, and it is loved for its delicious pastries and unusually delicate cheese straws.
Wedding cake was beautiful! Guests raved at how delicious it was. The white cake, raspberry center and cream cheese icing was a perfect pairing. Thank you Moeller’s, our family has trusted you for over 35 years and you never disappoint.

This was by far the most delicious and beautiful cake ever!!! The cake itself was moist and delicious, not too overly sweet. The icing was absolutely to die for!! My boyfriend got me this cake from them for my birthday, and everybody was raving about it! We added some of our own decorations ontop of it, but it turned out absolutely beautiful! Will definitely be using them for other celebrations in the future :)

This place is really cute, but the cupcakes were not good for me; icing was too sweet and the cake was pretty normal. I paid $12.50 for four very average cupcakes and I wasn’t crazy about them.

This place is fantastic. I know my family has been using this Bakery since the 1960's and onward. Everything here is freshly prepared, using old family recipes and it is well priced. You gotta pay attention on your way there or you will pass right by it. I like the white cake, the chocolate is good too but the white cake just has a perfect taste to it. If I ever get married, my wedding cake HAS to come from here. I carry on the family tradition by getting birthday cakes and holiday treats from here. Stop in and get a treat, you'll be glad you did!

Great location to spend time with friends and family and enjoy some summer rays 🥵 They offer indoor and outdoor seating, so there’s ample options. When I visited I tried the tiger uppercut (Thai tea + espresso) and the Chinese sausage taco. I wasn’t super impressed with the uppercut, as it was sweet but watered down. Playing around with the ratio and strength of both the tea and espresso might help. As for the taco, I can’t say enough about it! It was the perfect blend of sweet, savory, and spicy flavors. I’ll definitely get that again next time, and experiment more with different coffee options.

Delicious pastries, especially the pistachio baklava croissant and banana bread mochi. My complaints are that the prices are high and the mochi sticks to the wrapper. Maybe no wrapper? While the prices are high, everything I had tasted good. The lamination isn’t spectacular but it’s decent. Everything is super flavorful. Unlike most pastry places where you get crispy dough and no flavor, i felt like I got good flavor in the first bite of everything. I also had a Make Ya Halo and the coconut flavor was lacking. If anything, the oat milk and coffee took over. Customer service was excellent, so I’d go back. It’s hard to find good food AND good customer service. Again, the prices are what would deter me from coming back more often. Pictured: Pistachio Baklava Croissant, Banana Bread Mochi, Chicken Laap Danish, Peach Lemongrass and Almond Danish.

Came for a coffee and a bite to eat on a Saturday morning. The salty Cambodian coffee with the sugary London Fog pastry… 😩👏🏼 the pho beef kolache was so tasty too. Someone mentioned a popular mango pastry but it was sold out by then. Will be back to try more!

It’s a James Beard award winner for a reason. The selection of pastries is wide ranging from savory to sweet with Very interesting combinations. The location was kind of off when you’re driving through but once you’re there it’s pretty good and secluded. They do have back patio seating which was a good touch. The pastries were amazing, the pistachio baklava was a great dessert I just loved the creation. Overall I would definitely recommend anyone to give this place a try you will not be disappointed. Service was excellent.

Ranked from most favorite to less favorite but still good: Chicken laap danish - would eat once a week Cambodian elote cornbread- nice seasoning Mango sticky rice danish Pistachio baklava croissant We also had a latte and a salty Cambodian, love a salty coffee. I would go back here anytime I’m visiting Houston. So good. East to find parking in the neighborhood. Was very tempted to get the calamansi tart but no belly space was left.

Ham and cheese croissant -9/10 : light fluffy cheesy, could be warmer but very good Tamalwich:10/10 super interesting flavor with the soufflé and egg . Bakery
The Original Kolache Shoppe, located in South Houston, has been a staple since 1956. This family-owned bakery is renowned for its traditional Czech pastries and savory sausage klobasniky rolls. The shop's third-generation owner, Kevin Dowd, continues the legacy of crafting these delectable treats using a family recipe.
My hubby went and picked a few items to try this morning, and they were incredible, so fresh, warm, and delicious. He grabbed the sausage jalapeño kolache, and there was jalapeños in every bite, and the dough was perfect. He also picked up the chicken fajita kolache, and it was very savory and cheese definitely recommend. My favorite treat, tho was the cheese Danish it had sugar sprinkled on the bread, and I can't stop thinking about that taste and supper soft texture. We also got some lattes, and surprisingly, they were delicious and strong, not watered down like some establishments have them.
Zared R — Google review
Their early morning opening time is super convenient! The kolache are absolutely fantastic and worth trying out! They savory ones are very good and the dessert ones were a little less sweet than what I'm used to for pastries but I still enjoyed them. The silent hero on the menu might be the pecan sand tarts though. Definitely try those if you visit.
Safi K — Google review
Sausage and cheese kolaches(klobaniskys)were ok, sausage was good quality but the bread were blown out on the bottom, had a giant hole. Had the fruit turnovers and they were ok too. 16$ for 4 items, wasn’t worth they hype for me.

Visited for the first time on Friday 8/29/25 @7:30am. We ordered a couple croissants, a kolache and a few other items along with some coffee. The pastries were excellent. The coffee was terrible. The lady making the drinks that day seemed like she didn't want to be there and you could tell by the drinks she was making because the drinks we received were trash. If you're visiting, stick to the pastries because that's what this place is known for. As for the coffee, you can get better coffee across the street at McDonald's. Anyhow, I'll definitely be back for the food.

The staff, food, coffee are all amazon here! Be prepared to stand in line on a busy day, but it's worth it. If it's packed, wait it out. These are the best dang kolaches in the city. I had the beef fajita and sausage and cheese kolache. Literally the best kolache I’ve ever had. The beef fajita was fave be sure to give that one a try for sure! The Staff was friendly 12/27 We had the cherry danish and apple turnover. I enjoy them both.

I had an impeccable breakfast experience at The Original Kolache Shoppe. The moment I walked in, the inviting aroma of freshly baked pastries enveloped me. Their kolaches are a perfect blend of soft, fluffy dough and flavorful fillings. I tried the classic sausage and cheese, as well as the sweet cream cheese kolache – both were exceptional. The staff was friendly and efficient, adding to the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The coffee was rich and paired perfectly with the pastries. For a delightful, satisfying start to the day, The Original Kolache Shoppe is an excellent choice. Highly recommended!💖🥐☕🤍💞

Bavarian Cakery, nestled in the heart of Houston, Texas, is a delightful haven for those seeking exquisite wedding and event cakes. Renowned for their signature Bavarian cheesecake, this bakery has been crafting stunning and delectable desserts for over two decades. Their dedicated team collaborates closely with couples to design personalized cakes that reflect their unique tastes and wedding themes.
Our orginal cake maker was not able to make our order. Thankfully we meet Stephanie at our venues open house. Since we were having a small ceremony they were able to accommodate us on short notice. We absolutely loved our cake for our wedding day! It was everything we wanted. I had my heart set on a unique flavor and they were able to make it perfectly! I would recommend them for any occasion. Also the anniversary tier and preservation tier is a must have! The kit is so easy to do.
Stephanie A — Google review
Our experience with Bavarian Cakery was somewhat disappointing. We ordered one large vanilla, strawberry-filling sheet cake (not pictured), a small gluten-free lambeth cake, and a cookie cake groom's cake. The sheet cake was perfect; we and our guests loved the texture and flavor. The cookie cake, as well, was a big hit, and we had no leftovers. Unfortunately, the gluten-free was disappointing compared to what we tried in the tasting. It was much denser and had a strong flavor. On top of this, the lettering we agreed on wasn't on top. We had no cake topper, so this left it feeling unfinished and was honestly a big disappointment on the day. I don't think I would recommend them to other couples for this reason.

Bavarian Cakery nailed our wedding cake and Groom’s Cake! Every detail was perfectly crafted, and the vanilla and raspberry flavors were a hit with our guests. The groom's cake featured an impressive golf theme, capturing my husband’s passion beautifully. The team's professionalism and attention to detail made the experience wonderful. Highly recommend Bavarian Cakery for stunning and delicious cakes!

I had a great experience with Bavarian Cakery. I ordered a three tier cake for my wedding and really liked the design that they did. My guests said the cake tasted great but I unfortunately didn’t have time to eat much!

Bavarian Cakery did the cake and cupcakes for our wedding and we loved it! The tasting was incredibly professional and generous. And throughout the planning process, they gave advice and support that was greatly appreciated. You could tell they love what they do. As someone who loves cake but doesn't love OVERLY sweet icing, I was so happy that Bavarian Cakery accommodated! And we got so many compliments on the geode cake and mushroom cupcakes. The only thing that was inconvenient (but well communicated) was that we had to drop off the rentals ourselves. As out-of-towners that was a logistic for us to figure out. But it's a minor thing compared to the whole experience. Thanks Bavarian Cakery!

Wow. I am still dreaming about our wedding cake. It was not only beautiful but quite literally the best wedding cake I’ve ever had. Tara has great communication, and great service. We also decided to get one of her add ons for a grazing table. It was a hit at our wedding. We keep getting comments about how good the cake and grazing table were. I would recommend Tara for your wedding needs. Our cake looked and tasted absolutely amazing thanks to her.

THE BEST CAKE EVER! Tara and her team did an incredible job at being organized, professional, and delivering a beautiful wedding & grooms cake. However, it could have been a plain sheet cake and I would still be raving about it because it was absolutely delicious. Look no further than Who Made The Cake for your wedding cake. We had it delivered to our venue which was an hour away from the bakery and it arrived fresh and not a scratch or dent on it. The cake is absolutely delicious! All of our wedding guests couldn’t stop talking about how it was the best tasting cake they’ve ever had and I couldn’t agree more. We saved the top of the cake to eat it for our one year anniversary and once we tawed the cake out, it was just as good and fresh as it was on the wedding night! I can’t recommend them enough! Will definitely be purchasing from them again for special occasions in the future!

Hired for my wedding. A three tier cake for 100 people. Base layer (biggest layer) was fake as discussed. Provided all the inspiration pictures and had a long in-person consultation and cake tasting. Everything was disclosed and discussed. I was assured of what I’ll be getting. I specifically asked about the cake topper and the owner herself confirmed it is possible and it will be done. I wanted a 3-D bird on top. We discussed the shade of gold and it was not even close to the shade I picked. My only issue despite the let downs was the price which was a lot more than any other business for what I asked. I could have gotten a better execution maybe even without the hideous cake topper for a much lesser price. Taste was good, customer service is excellent. But over $1600 usd + rental for a two tier cake and a fake layer is too much

Nadine and the Who Made the Cake team delivered a beautiful and delicious cake for our wedding day. People keep telling us how much they loved our cake and how they kept going back for more! And the vision for my design was executed wonderfully. Would definitely recommend!

Nestled in the heart of Houston, Rustika Cafe and Bakery is a charming family-owned establishment that has been delighting locals for over twenty-five years. Known for its unique blend of Mexican and European cuisine, this cozy cafe offers an extensive menu featuring globally-inspired breakfasts, sandwiches, soups, and salads. But what truly sets Rustika apart are its exquisite baked goods. From freshly baked honey wheat bread to beautifully crafted multi-tiered cakes perfect for any celebration, every item is made with care.
For $60 I got a huge sandwich that was the size of multiple sandwiches stacked together, 3 empanadas, 2 Espressos with Latte Foam Art, 2 bowls of soup & a bag of meringue. That's enough food for three meals & everything tasted absolutely delicious. If you can afford the high price for the food (which is absolutely worth it), you can't pick a better café for lunch or dinner. (Oh & there's an exclusive breakfast menu too. I didn't have breakfast here however so I will update this review when I try that.)

This place offers a lot of options. Everything in the display looked delicious. I stop in for a sweet treat. The coco munchies cookies is must try. Customer service was great, friendly and helpful.

Ordered Garlic Chipotle Shrimp Bowl, They sent "baby Portions" and if you weigh it, I am sure it wasnt even half or 1/3 pound. The rice and black beans was somewhat uncooked, the shrimps were below average and this for $14. Do yourself a favor but not going here. Order was placed through Relish/EZ Cater

I was really let down by my recent visit. The basil soup was incredibly bland and watery—definitely lacking any depth of flavor. The croutons were so soggy they were practically disintegrating. The chicken salad sandwich didn’t fare any better; the texture and taste were both off, making it unpleasant to eat. To top it off, the crème brûlée tasted like it had been sitting out for a while—far from fresh. The only redeeming part of the experience was the customer service, which was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the food didn’t come close to meeting expectations.

Picked up a slice of one of their best cakes the white chocolate raspberry and also a “divorce cookie” or something called that- both were not good. I would give it a 3/10 taste. Dry and bland and truly lacked flavor. Tasted like a Kroger cake. I was really hoping they would taste as good as the pictures looked online and in social media. This was a pass for me and would not come back. Also, for one slice of cake and one cookie it cost about $15. At most I should have paid $6.50. Will not be coming back.

Excellent food and bakery. Matzo ball soup was lemony and the matzo ball was a bit smushy. But the chicken salad sandwich was made on freshly baked bread and house, and head Citrus mixed into it which gave it a nice tank. The salad had almonds, hearts of palm, spring mix, Barry's, and tomatoes. Very good. Soups are exceptionally good at this place but not if you're trying to watch your diet as they can be quite Rich. Presentation was wonderful. See the pictures! Plus it is quiet.

Service was slow. Food was meh. Ordered the breakfast tacos, the strawberries and cream pancakes from the specials menu, and a dish from the specials menu that I don't recall the name and was not expecting when it arrived at the table. The tacos were okay. The pancakes were very dry and dense and did not come with enough syrup. The egg dish smothered in green sauce was bland and had way too much sauce. All of the dishes were overpriced for the lack of quality. We will not be returning. There are far too many good restaurants in Houston.

First was great and dessert really hit the spot. The coffee was delicious, the turtle coffee and the regular drip coffee. I ordered the chicken fajita bowl and it was awesome. A very generous portion and it tasted like my own mother made it. We also had some cookies and they were great. Had no issues with the service. You place your order up front and they bring you your food.

Since 1978, Take The Cake has been a Houston staple for delicious cakes made in small batches. Specializing in birthday cakes and other themed treats, this bakery uses only the freshest ingredients to create brightly colored masterpieces fit for any celebration. Whether you're looking for something classic like cake or something more experimental like truffles, Take The Cake has got you covered!
Take the Cake catered the desserts at our wedding and everything tasted extraordinary! We had 4 different flavors of cupcakes; strawberry shortcake, I do, salted caramel chocolate, and lemon raspberry. It is so hard to pick a favorite as each one was absolutely delicious - we received endless compliments on them all night! Cindy was so professional and organized leading up to the wedding. She provided a tasting for us so that we could pick our favorites. On the day of our event, she delivered the desserts and displayed them out on our table beautifully. We are so thankful to Take the Cake for helping to make our wedding so special - I cannot recommend them enough!

Absolutely fantastic. If you need a cake don’t waste your time anywhere else. Gender reveal cake was perfect, the cake was incredible, and the aesthetic was on point. Will absolutely be using them anytime I need a cake in the future! Seriously, don’t waste your time going anywhere else. Take the cake definitely understands the assignment!

Not only are the women who work here super talented, their customers service is off the charts! I submitted a fully custom Cake inquiry via their link online. They were very quick to respond to my request (under 12 hours) and throughout every step of the process, everyone I talked to was incredibly kind and easy to work with. They made sure that they understood exactly what I wanted from the get-go so that they could provide the best experience for me. The cake turned out better than I could’ve imagined, and it was also delicious! Not to mention, the price I paid was so reasonable, especially compared to other quotes I got around the area. I will definitely be returning for all special occasions in the future!

The La Sicilia Italian Bakery & Cafe is a bakery in Houston, TX that specializes in traditional Italian pastries. The bakery has a variety of twists on traditional pastries and their Croissant sandwich was one of the best I've ever had. The bakery can be a bit pricey, but the quality of their pastries makes it worth it.
My family loves LaSicilia Bakery & Cafe! A friend told me about them, and we have been going since 2024. They have some of the most delicious and beautifully decorated desserts in Houston, and the service is great! When we make a trip to the store, we try to get a variety of desserts because we live outside the city and are always pleased with our selections. They will help you make the right selections if you are unsure of what to get. The pictures included are over the period of several visits.

Bug in my pastry. This was only my second visit here. I really enjoyed the food the first time, but on this visit I found a bug in my pastry. I live over an hour away and because this finding left me uneasy I don’t think I’ll be making the drive again. Wish I would have noticed this sooner before leaving.

Beautiful coffee and bakery shop. Smell nice inside. Service could be improved by smiling more but overall is ok. Communication is there. Clean place. Bread is tasty. Coffee is ok, i have a better place for coffee. Price $15 for machiato and 1 bread. I might be back if i have extra coins to spare from my weekly allowance.

Was picking up a delivery here yesterday and you walk in and it smells amazing. The employees were very nice and engaging, and the selection all looked so enticing. I got a croissant the size of my hand and the baker said she makes turkey sandwiches with them and so that's what I did. It was delicious! The buttery croissant warmed up was amazing! Can't wait to try more of their stuff!

Nestled in the vibrant Asiatown area, Kamalan Bakery is a delightful haven for dessert lovers and cake enthusiasts alike. This charming bakery offers an impressive array of baked goods, from Taiwanese pork floss bread to delectable layer cakes adorned with fresh fruit and intricate icing. Visitors rave about their unique offerings, including taiyaki—an adorable fish-shaped treat filled with green tea ice cream or custard.
One of my Houston friends posted about this bakery on social media so I took note. This past weekend, we visited from San Antonio so I had to stop by to check it out. I bought some for my Dad, my husband and myself and some to share with neighbors and other family. I bought a custard bun, bacon cheese bun, pork sung bun, Danish BBQ bun, Danish coconut bun, several mango cream cheese, several coconut pineapple cake, small sausage bun and ham cheese bun. What I tried so far is so fresh and soft. There were other refrigerated items which I wished I could've brought home but next time. It's next to Jungle Cafe so go check it out!

This was the next establishment in our hunt to find the best Japanese Cheesecake in town. While it didn’t make the list for that category. The Mango cake was the star of the show today! It was so fluffy, with the perfect hint of sweetness, lite, and enjoyed by everyone. It didn’t last. Hehe While we had a little bit of a language barrier communicating. But we were able to get everything we were after without to much difficulty. Can’t wait to return to try more of their treats. Note: The establishment address pulls up being located in the rear of the business park. This is false, its located on the front, off to the left corner and easily missed. Then finding a spot to park will be your next difficulty. Not many spots available for all the business located in this corner section. Hope it helps. Until next time.

This bakery has really good birthday cakes and other pastries, such as bread, cookies, pies, and cakes. This is the only place where I want to buy birthday cakes, because their birthday cakes taste so delicious and are just perfect. They have many choices of birthday cake styles and sizes. The service is alright. The staff lacks interpersonal communication skills, such as greeting customers, and they don't seem that friendly to customers. If you want a delicious pastry or birthday cake, then I would highly recommend this bakery for you.
Victoria N — Google review
The mango birthday cake is so delicious, fantastic looking and fresh with reasonable price. But never order from a man, his attitude is so bad and rude. The lady is so nice.
Kevin C — Google review
My favorite item at this bakery are their egg tarts. It’s a smooth custard with a cookie like crust. Perfectly balanced and even better when warmed up. I came in on a weekday around 10am and the man working was stocking on his own. Though he was busy, he took his time to help me decide on what to get. The bakery items were still fresh on the rack! This place has always been my go to, definitely support this bakery.
Christina N — Google review
May I just say, that all the items purchased here were exceptional. The cake was served to friends at dinner and they all agreed that the cake was outstanding. It was light, moist and not overly sweet. Please visit this location and try the array of incredible foods.

Stumbled onto this place while deciding what to eat at the Don Huang Plaza. Cute mom and pop small bakery that's neatly organized and clean. We got a few savory bread buns and weren't disappointed. The BBQ bread had way more meat filling than other places. Bread is mildly sweet like Hawaiian bread even with savory fillings. The cakes look amazing. Will be back for the taiyaki.

Mademoiselle Louise is a traditional French bakery located in Downtown Houston, at the bottom floor of the Skyhouse apartments on Jefferson and Main Streets. Founded by Chef Frederick Fortin, a native of Normandy, this bakery offers an array of authentic French viennoiseries and delicate pastries such as eclairs, cakes, and pies. The spacious and inviting interior makes it a popular spot for friends to gather over freshly baked goods.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mademoiselle Louise is hands down one of my favorite spots! I’ve known the owners for over 6 years, and it’s truly a family-owned gem. Frederick, the owner and the most incredible baker, pours his heart into everything he creates — you can taste it in every bite. Their tuna sandwich deserves a special shoutout — it’s honestly the best I’ve ever had! Perfectly balanced, fresh, and flavorful — every time I visit, I can’t resist ordering it. If you’re looking for authentic French pastries, fresh bread, and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, Mademoiselle Louise is the place to be. Highly recommend!

That urge to checkout coffee shops once you landed in the new city! This is one of the top rated cafe for ambiance and pastries. It didn’t disappoint me one bit. There are enough tables inside and outside the cafe & the ambiance is great, clean with a lot of natural light coming in that beautiful Saturday morning! Pastries looked great & tempting. I ended up getting an almond croissant and Mocha latte. Loved every bit of it. Croissants were fresh & flaky :-)

This cake shop is amazing! I placed an order just one day in advance, and they had the cake ready the next day — super efficient. There was a small miscommunication where they initially quoted $45, but the final cake was actually an 8-serving cake worth $60. They still only charged me $45, which shows how honest and customer-focused they are. The cake was not only beautiful but also delicious. I’ll definitely come back again!

This is in my top 3 french patisseries here in Houston. Perfect for lunches on-the-go or a quick coffee date! The croissants are light and flakey with tender insides. The flavors in the quiche are simple, yet fabulous. Do not skip the canele, it’s a real treat for the palate.
Farwa H — Google review
I wanted to love everything about this cute little place but I have mixed feelings. The device was excellent and very friendly. The setting was perfect for enjoying a coffee and snack with a friend or have some quiet time alone. The breads and pastry are so tasty! Where they lost me was the quiche I tried today. I got the veggie one and it had what seemed to be a frozen mixed veg in it. I have never wanted corn, carrots and garbanzo beans in my quiche. There were also an assortment or green beans and peas and a whole bunch of miscellaneous veg, the flavor was weird. I had to pick most of it out and eat what was left, and I am not picky.

It’s located in the heart of Houston downtown area on a weekend morning we were able to grab a spot pretty quickly. It does have some tables pretty picturesque seating and decor. The service is amazing the server was attentive and very friendly. Food was definitely a big disappointment the canelle was undercooked inside for $3 tag you don’t want lump of dough inside. The quiches were okay not soo good. The kouign Amann had the taste but shape was kind of awkward. The coffee was very good something on a brighter side.

Nestled in the heart of Crumbville, TX, this charming bakery is a haven for those with a sweet tooth, especially if you lean towards plant-based delights. Specializing in an array of vegan treats like cookies, brownies, and their signature stuffed cups—think cupcakes filled with delicious surprises—Crumbville offers an inviting atmosphere where baked goods line the walls. The giant ginger snap cookies are a must-try, held together by luscious icing that makes them irresistible.
Do yourself a favor, run ... don't walk to Crumbville! You won't regret it and if you run you will actually earn the dessert! :) I have wanted to try Crumbville for a while now, but never seem to find myself in that area. Yesterday, I had a hankering for a cupcake, and it was rainy so I had zero interest in going anywhere. I found that Crumbville is on the Favor app, so I figured, why now? I ordered the Blueberries & Cream Cheesecake cupcake. Wow, it was liking having a blueberry muffin, with loads of blueberries, and icing on top. It was so good!! I also ordered the Strawberries & Cream Cheesecake, Vanilla Peachy-cob-a-licious and the Chocolate Peanut Butter Snicker Crunch. All of the cupcakes are just so fresh and tasty. They are literally the best I have ever had. I fully plan on stopping in sometime to check out the location. I hear the service is amazing, and I cannot wait to find out!

Stopped in the other day and grabbed a bunch of sweet treats! I was fortunate to meet the owner and she was so warm and welcoming! She explained all the various treats and offerings. The layout is pretty straightforward so you shouldn’t get confused. She also has merch and vinyls ☺️☺️ Ok but the tests. I ordered two cupcakes, 3 cookies (2 cookies in a pack) and a brookie. Everything was amazingly fresh and flavorful. Honestly none of it was overly sweet either. You won’t go wrong with anything you decide to choose!!! 10 out of 10 I recommend

We stumbled upon this little gem while working. We tried the blueberry- a very good cupcake with layers of graham cracker crust and cheesecake. In my opinion the cupcake doesn’t even need the cheesecake because the blueberry top and icing are straight heaven. The key-lime cookie was amazing. Crunchy outside thick chewy inside. The pistachio flavor makes this cookie sing. My favorite, however, was the vegan banana walnut chocolate chip cupcake. This was SO good. It takes the flavor of banana bread to the next level! I can’t wait to try some more!

We came to Houston for our wedding anniversary so while we were out and about I looked up vegan bakeries and this was the first place that I was drawn to. When we got there we were welcomed so warmly and felt like we’ve known the owner forever! She showed us around and told me exactly how she made her vegan goodies. We highly suggest coming to this GEM! Anytime we’re in Houston we’ll always support. Not only was the customer service excellent the treats were nothing short of amazing! On top of that she customized our bag of baked deliciousness, so sweet (pun intended) 100/100 absolutely recommended!!!

Ms. Myrtle’s Bakery brought my VCR cake to life for my 30th Birthday ’90s Bash. It was a huge hit amongst all of my guests. It completed the look of the dessert table and tasted great. They suggested that we go with Heavenly Butter for the cake and they were definitely right. This was our second time ordering a custom cake from Ms. Myrtle’s and I’m sure it won’t be our last! My coworker raved about this bakery so I couldn’t wait to taste the desserts. I ordered a banana pudding, peach cobbler, Italian cream and red velvet cake. The banana pudding was good but wasn’t the best, after I was out of cookies there was only pudding left. The red velvet cake was ok, along with the peach cobbler. The best thing I bought was the Italian cream cake even though the cake wasn’t fresh and a little hard. I will try it again and hope for better results the second time around.

This place is fabulous!!!!!!!! So many options at the counter. We went with banana pudding, vanilla cheesecake, banana pudding cheesecake, and peach cobbler for our office. The banana pudding cheesecake was divine! Easy street parking in front. We will definitely be back. I would give 10 stars if we could!

I ordered a cake just like it says 24 hrs notice. I did that on the day of pick up I was told ovens went down that morning but I was given no call. I went down to pick it up and was told they didn’t have it cause the ovens broke and they only have one oven working. Again no one called me. This was a birthday cake for a small birthday party. So I went ahead and grabbed a few small cakes that were already prepared. All I was given was a 15% discount on what I grabbed. I was given a full refund on the cake they didn’t make. But I would have thought they would have given me the 2 smaller 7 dollar cakes for free cause it was their mistake but no just 15% off. I will not ever preorder a cake from here again. The lady was nice about it but I still had to find a cake for the party. Again they knew the oven broke that morning and again no one ever called me to tell me. I had to drive 45 mins to the location just to be told the oven had broken. Mainly for the lack of communication I will not go back. Also the 2 small chocolate cakes were extremely dry.

Our main wedding cake and 2 birthday cakes celebrating both our family members who had birthdays on the day of our wedding and Cakes by Gina did beautifully in executing our vision. Not only did our cakes LOOK amazing, but oh my goodness they tasted INCREDIBLE. Our guests still talk about it even 2 months after our wedding. We think a lot about our cakes they were so good. We are so grateful for her incredible talent and attention to detail — everything was perfect!

We loved our wedding cake! The tasting process was very easy and fun. For our design I gave them a pinterest photo and they matched it PERFECTLY. They had a lot of options for flavors, fillings, icings, and tier sizes. The cake tasted so amazing!

Cakes by Gina made beautiful cakes for my daughter’s wedding last week! They tasted delicious as well, and we were very pleased. The tasting process was fun, and the company was so easy to work with. Thank you for everything!!

Absolutely amazing 5 tier birthday cake! Each tier had a different flavour, and the ones I tasted were divine. The coconut-filled tier melted in my mouth so good I went back for thirds! The carrot cake was soft, fluffy, and full of flavour. The design was stunning and a total showstopper when it dropped from the ceiling, the crowd cheered! You made my mum’s 70th unforgettable. Thank you so much! 10/10 🎂✨

Cakes by Gina was recommended to me by my sister-in-law who also used them for her wedding and groom's cake a few years ago. Angel, who was my point of contact, was very responsive and kept me in the loop every step of the way. Any request I had regarding my husband's 40th birthday cake was turned into a dream come true. This cake was the talk of the party and will be for years to come!

Gabrielle and Gina made our cake tasting so easy and enjoyable. The store is like nothing I’ve seen before. They can literally make any cake. It seems like nothing is impossible for them! Not only are the cakes stunning, but the flavors are delicious. If you decide to go, I recommend going with an appetite, as they offer you so many options. We immediately booked our cake on our visit. The staff was so welcoming and Gina the owner, truly loves what she does, and you can notice it with every detail she’s incorporated to the cake tasting experience.

The Village Bakery made the cake for the baby shower that i hosted for my best friend. They created the most beautiful cake!!! It was delicious as well. They were a pleasure to work with as well. So accommodating and helpful. I highly recommend this bakery.

I would highly recommend this place! I ordered a cake for my baby shower from this bakery and they executed the vision that I had for my cake very well. The cake was beautiful! The order for the cake was kind of placed at the last minute but they still got it done in a timely manner before my event started. We got so many compliments on the cake not just on the looks but the taste as well. They did a wonderful job and again would recommend. I definitely will be a returning customer.

Cake is pretty But not at all what I wanted granted it was short notice I wanted a With a celebrity photo on it They did deliver a cake with a correct celebrity photo but not the correct Picture When I asked the owner if I can get a discount being that my decorations were all revolved around the photo that I wanted to provide, he said I never got the email. I asked if he called me to let me know that he said no I did not have enough time very rudely. When I asked for a discount, he said absolutely not if you want I can charge you an extra $15 And redo it right now But I’m running late and he was extremely rude, so I honestly did not want to pay him any more money than what I already paid So the cake is nice, but the owner is extremely rude

Cannot say enough good things about this place! We ordered a cake over the phone for my son's 7th birthday, requesting a shark cake that a 7 year old would find cool and scary. We don't live in Houston and we're sure what we would get, but the reviews were encouraging and the guys were great to deal with. They killed it, making a two-tiered cake that looks just like Jaws coming out of the water. They even threw a severed limb in the shark's mouth, along with lots of other great little touches. We were blown away at the artistry of it. Plus, the cake was delicious (great cake and icing flavor options) and was a total hit with the kids. 10 stars would recommend to everyone!
Derek R — Google review
The cake turned out excellent. It was very delicious and the decorations were beautiful. The edible text was sharp and exactly what I had asked for. I was a little disappointed in the piping on the side of the cake, but understand that it is probably very difficult to have flawless handwriting vertically with frosting, so I'm not going to fault them for it. The flowers on the top were phenomenally detailed and lifelike, especially for just being buttercream frosting. The cake was moist and very delicious. The shop itself is very unassuming, but the employees are super friendly and helpful and creative. The price is not cheap (though, in fairness, I don't buy a lot of custom cakes, so maybe it was in line with other custom cakes), but the quality received definitely fit the price. Thanks Village Bakery for an excellent experience.

I’ve used their services twice so far. And have been pleased. First was a cake for my daughters third birthday. The second for the arrival of our second daughter. We got mini cup cakes made. The cake and cupcakes tasted wonderful and were made fresh. The decorations were amazing! Will be ordering a custom birthday cake again this year. Would highly recommend them.

Received a delicious lemon cake and succulent cupcakes for a baby shower. Just wish we had received the full order- we were missing two dozen customized cookies and cake balls that we had added to our order, and for which we confirmed the pricing and design, two weeks prior to the shower. We had also agreed upon a "naked" cake. The cake we received was not a "naked" cake but still look good. We ended up with enough dessert for all of our guests and what we did order looked and tasted very good, though.

I ordered a smash cake, a birthday cake, and cupcakes for my daughter’s first birthday and everything turned out AMAZING!!! The cakes were absolutely gorgeous and delicious to boot. I had so many guests asking about where the desserts were from. I will definitely be ordering cakes from Buttercup Bakery again!! On top of all that, my husband bought a few cookies when he was picking up the cake and those were incredible too! The peanut butter cookie in particular was fantastic.

This is a top quality bakery. The chocolate chip cookies are worthy of an award, and they have just the right amount of salt. They clearly have some excellent experience, you can tell in how everything I’ve had there looked photo-perfect and was made excellently. Super tender crumb, makes it clear they don’t over-mix. The frosting is stellar, and has a very good butter to sugar ratio. I don’t think they cut any corners! My favorite thing was either the aforementioned cookie, a shortbread cookie that Ted Lasso could have baked, or the strawberry vanilla scone. Truly you can’t go wrong here! My only regret is I forgot to take a picture of the chocolate chip cookie!

Restaurant
Etoile Cuisine Et Bar is a sophisticated French restaurant located in Uptown Park, Houston. Founded by Master Chef Philippe Verpiand and Monica Bui, it offers traditional and seasonal menus with a modern twist on French cuisine while staying true to regional traditions. The interior has a modern farmhouse style.
Absolutely loved! Our favorite place out of all of the ones we tried for Houston Restaurant Weeks. The escargot and lobster bisque were wonderful. The steak was cooked very well. The risotto was delicious and hearty. And the pistachio merengue dessert had me scraping the bottom of the bowl!
Yndalecia M — Google review
I really wanted to like this place, especially since I usually love mussels. Unfortunately, my recent visit was far from enjoyable. To start, even though it was only 5 PM on a Monday and the restaurant was mostly empty, we were seated in a spot with harsh direct sunlight—despite many other open tables available. It was an uncomfortable beginning. We started off fine—the appetizers were good, and the staff was quick to change plates and cutlery. But things went downhill with the main course. We ordered the large portion of green mussels, and they were extremely fishy. Even as someone who tolerates fishiness well, I couldn't eat them. My friend, who is pregnant, was especially sensitive to the strong smell and couldn’t touch it at all. When we told the staff, they seemed annoyed and insisted that “green mussels are supposed to be like that.” We disagreed, and they immediately took the dish away, including our plates, folks, and my friend’s knife. To make matters worse, the service became incredibly inattentive. Our servers were often chatting among themselves or with other guests, ignoring our table for long periods. At one point, after our mussels were taken away, we were left with no plates or cutlery, staring at our cooling duck dish without being able to eat it. When we finally got our next dish, we had to repeatedly ask for plates and forks. It took multiple requests and long waits just to get basic dining tools. The duck—which was really delicious when hot—became unpleasantly fishy and unappetizing once it cooled down. My friend couldn’t eat it, so I finished it, but it really wasn’t enjoyable. It’s a shame because most of the dishes (like the duck and onion soup) were really good, but the inconsistent service, poorly executed seafood, and lack of attention to basic comfort really let us down. We won’t be returning.

Great food and service! Came to try this place after a friend recommended it, and it did not disappoint. The waitress was very friendly, attentive, and left a great impression. The manager was also super nice. Overall, a wonderful experience!

Going back in time. Love this place. We make the trip to the end of the Hwy 45 to simply have dinner at this sparkle ! Very traditional fine dining setting with retro decor. Not a large space , but very well laid out with sufficient room and tables in set for 2 /4/6/8 to sit comfortably on the back wall. Service is always at your call for bread , tap and plate rotation. Heavy silverware, polished glassware and fine china! About the food. Well if driving 4 hours for dinner does not tell you something , then you need to go try it out. If you are closer than me , you have no excuses. My only guideline for a French place is a Foix Gras in any form or shape or execution. Pan fried , cold pate, chopped in a pasta dish. But if it is not part of the menu, I can have a sandwich somewhere else. Dress up , do your manicures and treat yourself to a fine French cuisine. Chef will come out and say hello! Surprisingly for a Frenchman he is a nice garçon! See you at Etoile.

Wonderful service & atmosphere. The lobster bisque is always a hit and this place has some of the best bread & butter in town. However, the sole I got was really oily and was not seasoned. French food tends to be conservative with spices and it’s hard not to wish my plate had a little more flavor. But overall Étoile has always been a nice dining experience and I’ll definitely be back. ❤️
Hannah D — Google review
Very nice restaurant with lovely decor and romantic atmosphere. I loved their Lobster bisque and Bouef Bourguignon was very delicious. My wife enjoyed her Chillian seabass. The only complaint was the service. For such a small restaurant, our server was extremely slow all night and we had to wave him down several times just to get our bill so we could pay and leave.
Alan B — Google review
Had a lovely time at this restaurant located in a cute walkable plaza. Several employees were actually French. Great wine selection for both bottles and BTG. We also enjoyed the food and service. The large beef tartare portion is LARGE indeed.
Valeria — Google review
This is my favorite French restaurant in town. Dishes are traditional to French cooking. I started with the moules a la creme. The mussels were clean and didn’t carry that dirty beach smell unlike some restaurants do. I was impressed that they maintained clean fresh mussels. The flesh was plump and moist and the cream sauce delicious. Next time I would ask for bread to dip and finish the sauce. My wife had the duck breast which was done perfectly. I tasted the seared food gras which is always good. Smokey and buttery is how I would describe the taste. I had the $82 sole dovres which is flown in from Dover, England. It was cooked as a some meunière which is a lemon butter sauce. The sauce was on point but I didn’t think there was anything special about the sole. If I tasted it blind I wouldn’t know the difference between the sole or another decent white fish. $82 is too much and I wouldn’t order this again. The panna cotta was tasty with the crunchy bits and berries. I jut wished there was more of the cream. Overall it was a good experience and I’d return here to try something new.

Central Market is a vibrant hub for food lovers, offering an impressive selection of gourmet vegetables, meats, and wines. This expansive space also features an inviting in-house café where visitors can enjoy delicious bites while soaking in the lively atmosphere filled with food events and live music. Recognized by Bon Appétit as one of the top regional supermarket chains, it’s a favorite among Houstonians who appreciate quality ingredients and community connections.
Absolutely love everything about Central Market! Visiting during weekend lunchtime always feels like an adventure—there’s so much to explore. The food is consistently fresh, the staff is friendly, and the store is always clean and well-maintained. The cafeteria seating area could benefit from a bit more attention during peak hours, but with the constant flow of guests, it’s understandable and still well-managed overall. From the expansive salad bar and comforting soup options to the cozy coffee shop, sushi bar, vibrant floral selections, and a wide variety of freshly cooked meals—there’s something for everyone. Our favorite, though, is the incredible sandwich bar, offering delicious choices for all ages. The overall atmosphere is warm and inviting. I just wish there were more locations nearby! The only downside we’ve experienced is the sandwich line on weekends—it can get quite long, sometimes taking up to 30 minutes despite having plenty of staff. Hopefully, they’ll find a way to improve the flow, but even with the wait, it’s well worth it.

Big thanks to Elham at Central Market for helping me find the chicken salad today — the section had been reorganized, and she was so sweet, helpful, and kind the entire time! I also want to shout out Miriam , Corina, and Valeria at checkout, who was just as lovely and made the whole experience even better. I had a meeting to get to and was hoping to be in and out quickly — and thanks to their help, I was out in under 7 minutes. They were positive, attentive, and made me feel genuinely cared for. It didn’t feel like I was bothering them at all — just great customer service from start to finish. This might’ve been my first visit to this location (hard to keep track with how many Central Markets I’ve been to!), but it’s definitely the one I’ll return to. The energy, care, and support were unmatched. Amazing team — keep up the great work!

Central Market is so much more than a gourmet grocery store. It is a community builder! We attended the Houston Cooking School upstairs for a Mexican Dinner featuring culinary professional, author, and entrepreneur Sylvia Casares. What a inspiration! Today we bought salads at the salad bar, and the experience was terrible. The staff was very unprofessional — one of them even put his hand in the sauce! They also gave me only half portions and were extremely rude when I asked about it. Very disappointing and unhygienic service. We will not be coming back!

I wanted to share my incredibly positive experience at the Central Market in Houston. I'm a daily customer, and the quality of both the food and the service is consistently exceptional. The food at the chef station is always fresh and tastes fantastic. Even with a constantly busy line, the team works incredibly hard and maintains a pleasant and cheerful attitude. I especially want to commend Aaliyah, who works at the chef station. She is consistently kind, helpful, and never seems bothered by my many questions. Her dedication and positive demeanor truly stand out and make every visit a pleasure. I always make sure to tip the team because they genuinely deserve it for their hard work and excellent service.

Eunice is a chic and elegant restaurant located in the Upper Kirby neighborhood of Houston, Texas. The upscale eatery offers seasonally inspired Cajun-Creole fare and cocktails in a sophisticated setting with large windows. Named after chef Drake Leonard's hometown in Louisiana, Eunice showcases the best seafood dishes in town, with shrimp taking the spotlight on the menu. Dishes like dan dan shrimp and buttery shrimp and grits topped with roasted cherry tomatoes are highly recommended.
I came here with my Mom and sister to celebrate my Mom’s birthday. I’ve always passed by Eunice but for some reason had never been. So glad we came! The food was delicious and the restaurant had a fabulous vibe. Eunice probably has the best wait staff I’ve ever experienced. Our waiter Thieu, was amazingly attentive and really elevated our dining experience! We will for sure be back.

We went for an early Mother's Day celebration. Our waitress Ashley did a great job; unfortunately, the food was not what we remembered from our first brunch visit a few years ago. Each plate was saturated with grease, which took away from the depth of flavor. Ashley brought us a new bowl of shrimp and grits, which we appreciated, but food missed the mark.

What a wonderful restaurant! Came here to enjoy Cajun style cooking and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere is amazing and very romantic. When you leave the parking garage there is a beautiful oak tree at the front of the restaurant. Don't forget your parking validation if you self park. We had an amazing meal with delicious flavors. Cornbread - must do! It's delicious and more like a dessert. Big enough to take some home. Tuna tartare - wouldn't order again. Felt like it was more watermelon than tuna. Not worth it Chicken liver mousse - this was delicious! The flavor was rich with a delicious jam on top. The bread that came with it was also yummy. Gumbo - delicious 👏 Bistro filet - for a non steakhouse, the quality was surprisingly awesome. The flavor of the sauce and mushrooms was amazing. Potatoes were great. It's a gem in the city and I highly suggest checking it out for a romantic date.

Our experience here was top notch from the beginning to the end. The greeting from valet to our waitress was amazing. Our waitress was attentive without hovering, very knowledgeable about the menu and her recommendations were spot on. We started with the raw oysters which were on sale during happy hour. They were the perfect size, very sweet and so fresh. Shucked right after we ordered them. Then we ate off the appetizer menu. The Dan Dan shrimp were tempura fried to perfection; the cornmeal fried oysters were served with a delicious sauce and the brussel sprouts were a little sweet and the crispy apple slices were a perfect pairing. I didn’t take a picture but I had the bread pudding and it was as close to my former mother in laws as I can remember. Highly recommend this place.

Great atmosphere, good food. The prices do seem a bit high for the quality/portion, and some of the dishes felt a little off (the shrimp étouffée was fine, but not particularly flavorful, and I don't typically expect fried shrimp?). I also didn't appreciate the pushier service to take away plates before finishing. Definitely not in line with the price point. The gulf oysters were good.

I came here with three others on a Saturday for brunch/lunch in early February on a mild and sunny day. I was visiting Houston for the weekend from New York. A friend made the reservation a few days in advance but I don’t think one was needed as the restaurant was nearly empty. I honestly was not expecting to like this restaurant as I thought the emptiness was a sign of something; however, I really liked it! I really do not enjoy brunch and I was pleased to see their menu wasn’t filled with many boring brunch items. The server was really great and engaging (it probably helped that the restaurant had such few people dining). The food was really delicious and I loved the fusion element of the menu. We ordered multiple appetizers, each person had an entree as well as three drinks. Our bill came to about $125 per person. If I lived in Houston, I would go back to this restaurant and I would recommend.
David H — Google review
I came here off a recommendation with hesitation but it was actually really good. Creole food isn’t a cuisine that I generally lean towards but I felt like our guests would appreciate the flavor. The cornbread was dangerously delicious and the homemade pasta was perfectly al dente. Kate did a wonderful job making suggestions and giving enough information to make educated decisions based on each individual preference. It was super helpful it picking such a great spread. Here’s the things I would recommend from what we ordered: -Cornbread -Crawfish etoufee with homemade pasta -Red Snapper (topped with delicious “seafood crumble”) -Charred broccolini (FANTASTIC!) I wish I would have tried the bread pudding with coffee so someone else review it and message me.
Vinaya — Google review
Ashley was an awesome server and I really enjoyed her. The Charred Broccolini was very delicious and had a good crunch. The St Landry Sidecar was so well mixed I had three. The corn bread was very good and was a good portion to share for three people. The duck poppers were good but super small. The gumbo was not my favorite and I sent it back. Love a dark roux but it was burnt, lacked spice and needed a tad bit of salt. Only ordered the gumbo because it was highly recommended. Loved the bar layout and huge dimly lit lights which made the ambiance nice and cozy.

La Guadalupana is a family-owned cafe and bakery located in the heart of Montrose, Houston. It's known for its cozy and unpretentious atmosphere, serving up a variety of Mexican breakfast dishes such as breakfast tacos and huevos rancheros, along with an assortment of sweet baked goods. The cafe is popular among locals and regulars, often bustling with crowds enjoying their hot cinnamon coffee or the signature vampiro drink.
La Guadalupana serves up absolutely delicious breakfast and lunch! It is a very cozy, casual and clean spot with the most amazing tortas and delicious coffee. The service is always fantastic and fast!

I've been to Guadalupana many many times, because I used to live close by & it's convenient. The food in general is solid & filling & tastes ok, but honestly not extraordinary. I've pretty much had their entire menu, but mostly gravitate towards their breakfast dishes. Their coffee is AWESOME & I've bought several bags over the years. The staff & service are super friendly & great to be around. Parking is not convenient, so avoid the rush hours. I mostly used to walk there. It's a great little place to grab a quick bite or meet a friend, but the space is somewhat limited for big parties, & it can get a bit loud, but the energy is good.

We stopped by to get breakfast tacos bc the coffee shop we tried that morning didn't have food. We had to park up the road bc parking was crazy, but ordered quickly and got our food fast. The staff was friendly and the spot reminded me of a diner I used to go to as a kid. Tacos were fine, flour tortillas were better than the corn. I wish the salsa was hotter, but it had good flavor. We also got a marranito to take home.

Service was alright. Food was mediocre, the tortillas for the tacos were still cold and didn’t seem to have been placed on the comal for long. Steak fajita tacos were too chewy, but I wasn’t sure if there was an option for carne asada instead of the fajita. Horchata, Ice Coffee, and chips and homemade salsa were good!

Nestled in the charming Heights neighborhood of Houston, Red Dessert Dive is a delightful haven for dessert lovers. This cozy spot offers an innovative twist on classic baked goods, featuring a rotating menu that includes everything from salted caramel brownies to decadent whiskey walnut pies. The owner, Jessica, prides herself on using high-quality ingredients to create fresh confections daily. Whether you're craving Fat Elvis cupcakes or seasonal cheesecakes, there's something for every sweet tooth here.
A Hidden Gem for Coffee & Scones Lovers – Red Dessert Dive I visited Red Dessert Dive today for the first time, and that’s all it took to place it firmly among my favorite spots for coffee and pastries. Nestled in the heart of the Heights on Studewood St., this cozy little café is a true gem. I ordered a stout Americano and a nitro cold brew with oat milk—both were outstanding! The Americano, made with beans from Little Dreamer Coffee Roasters, had a rich, full-bodied flavor that was perfect for slow sipping and good conversation. I also tried one of their Blondie Bars, which was wonderfully balanced—sweet but not overpowering. My companion instantly fell in love with the nitro cold brew; it was smooth, creamy, and deeply satisfying. The staff were kind and happy to answer all my questions about their coffee beans and house-made teas. Yes, they make their own tea blends under the name Camellia Tea, which I plan to explore on my next visit. Their tea selection sounds promising, with offerings like English Breakfast (Keemun), Coconut Dreams (black tea with coconut and lemongrass), Chai Latte, and Matcha. The space itself is small and inviting, with just enough parking for its size—a bonus in this area. While I hope I get the chance to return often, I know the place’s popularity might make that tricky! In short, Red Dessert Dive is an excellent spot for high-quality coffee, delightful treats, and a relaxed, welcoming vibe. Highly recommended for both coffee and tea lovers.

Red Dessert Dive offers guests freshly baked goods at a reasonable price. Most of the baked goods are sweet with the one savory item a kolache (could have been because of when we visited - mid-morning. The roasted pecan coffee was enjoyable as were the chocolate croissant and the vanilla bean scone. There is indoor seating. Go in and check out the cookies, cupcakes, croissants, cakes and other baked goods available at Red Dessert Dive. Highly recommend.

Red Dessert Dive has been one of our go-to bakeries for a long time. We love getting coffee and pastries/cupcakes on the weekends. Red did our wedding cake this last week and they did an amazing job. From working with the order manager to their delivery we couldn’t have been more satisfied. Everyone keeps talking about how great the cake looked AND tasted!!

This was my first time visiting this charming little place. Right from the outside you can tell you’re in for a treat. The mural, bright red door, it just all has such a beautiful, chic aesthetic that carries all the way through the inside, too. The employee who helped me was very nice and made a wonderful latte for me. I tried the butterscotch s’mores bar and it was so decadent. I could only have a few bites and took the rest home lol. I loved this place and can’t wait to go back, and take other people there, too!

It is a perfect place for chill! Especially you take a 10 mins walk at 15:00 in Aug. cheese cake is yummy, coffee is fabulous!

Houston we have a problem. I decided to try this dessert shop while I was in the Heights area. It was so good I ended up going there four times in one week and I live an hour away from this place. Everytime I went I try a new dessert each time like the banana pudding, strawberry short cake, cookies and cupcakes. Victoria was the sweetest person and she explained about the history of this place plus offered great recommendations.

We got our order via Doordash. The salted caramel pretzel was divine! Light, not cloying, not soggy, and enough to share. As a bookish girlie, I so want to go in for one of their book events and try something else!

Such a wonderful dessert bar and the ambiance is spectacular along with the delicious desserts. I’ve tried the bread pudding twice now it’s rated my favorite but today I had the turtle cheesecake thinking that’s my favorite now!! Oh and the Hot Chocolate was great for this cold windy day 🎄I brought one home for hubby too!

In addition to their delicious cakes, they also offer platters, candles, and cards. Customers have noted the distinctive appearance of the cakes and have had positive experiences with the friendly service. Some popular flavors include red velvet and lemon.
I really enjoyed the pumpkin spice cake! It was delicious and very fresh. Thank you for giving me such a wonderful free treat!!!! My kids loved it as well.

I stopped by for the flash BOGO bundlets from my email. The server, Nicole G., was very sweet. She welcomed me in as soon as I entered the shop even though she was tending to another customer. She was informative on the smallest details, like the carrot cake bundlet having little pineapples in it. I'm very happy with my experience today! Keep being amazing, Nicole G!

In more than a decade of eating these in various cities, you can still count on the quality of the product. The best tasting and moistest mini Bundt cakes or larger. The staff was so kind to answer all my questions in this visit. Seasonal key lime flavor until July 15. It’s superb.

This particular store is the closest to my home which is a little over 7 millers, until the new one opens. Every time I've been in this store they are always out of the newest cake item. A month ago I went there several different times and they were out of the banana pudding bundt. Today the same thing regarding the strawberry cheesecake. Its interesting the store keeps a lot of the other flavors. The staff are very kind, but whoever is in charge of putting product out and making sure there is enough regardless of the day or time they are lacking. Very disappointed!!

Valerie was very rude! The cake was messy and not made well.

My first Gluten free lemon/rasp Bundt was so excellent that I couldn’t wait to get another! Unfortunately, I was disappointed on the second go around 😒. It was not fresh and was very dry. I live too far from the store to make a return trip. I also purchased other Bundt cakes and they did live up to standards. Just be aware that GF products may be a bit old.
Lynn P — Google review
First time visiting, and the cake was not worth the price or as expected. It was my husband's birthday and I wanted to buy him a nice cake. I paid $30 for an eight inch, and it was very gummy and flat. I like that it wasn't dry, but it was too wet and not fluffy at all. The icing was also a tad bit too thick and too sweet. I will continue making time to bake because this just was not it.
L S — Google review
A shout out to the staff and leadership team at this location. Long story short, we were showing that our order had been processed, but when I arrived on location, they couldn’t find it. Knowing that I was under a time crunch, they quickly rallied the team and put the order together, even though they did not have confirmation on their end. In a true demonstration of putting the customer first, they made sure that the party of teens (birthday) had Bundt cakes. We then resolved the issue...which in reality was on our end. In terms of customer service… This location is a true class act.

Sunday Press is a popular coffee shop in Houston known for its high-quality ingredients and excellent coffee. The establishment offers a drive-thru option for those who prefer to stay in their cars. The menu includes delicious options such as beet and goat cheese toast, morning glory, and honey lavender latte. In addition to great food and drinks, the ambiance is pleasant with ample greenery. Customers appreciate the comfortable seating at Sunday Press, which sets it apart from other coffee shops in the area.
Came to this place for the first time to attend an Open Mic Poetry Night Event, this place is AMAZING! I have nothing but great things to say! The atmosphere was great, the drinks were great, the staff members were BEYOND great with their level of service, and event itself was great too! I will definitely be coming here more often because the menu looks incredible. This is the perfect kind of place for hosting events, for date nights, to meet up with friends, to study or do work, or even come though by yourself to simply soak in the positive energy and vibes. Swing by if you ever get a chance, you’ll know what I mean when you’re there. You’re welcome 😏

Sunday Press is a stylish and spacious cafe in Garden Oaks with a vibe that transports you to a different decade. The retro-modern interior is beautiful, and the private parking lot (plus a drive-through) makes it super convenient. I recently visited with my wife and 15-month-old son, and we appreciated the family-friendly setup, including high chairs. Coffee-wise, I ordered a cappuccino ($4.75), which was good. For lunch, I tried the Tomato Basil Soup with grilled cheese ($16). The soup was excellent—rich and comforting—but the grilled cheese left something to be desired. It wasn’t cut for easy dipping, the bread was unevenly toasted, and the texture was a bit hard in places. The cheese itself was solid, but I expected better quality. I’d love to see them cut their grilled cheese diagonally and use a better bread. We also got a Lemon Blueberry Loaf ($5.75) for our son, and I ended up sneaking a bite—it was amazing. Moist, flavorful, and beautifully balanced. Their pastry case is full of tempting options, and everything looked fresh and high quality. Still, Sunday Press stands out with its broad menu of food, pastries, and now cocktails thanks to their Sunday Social bar addition. With co-owners Cassie Ghaffar and Sandy Nguyen also behind Saigon Hustle next door, it’s clear this spot is part of a growing local scene. I’d definitely return to try more.

I ordered the Mediterranean Greens Bowl to go....I recommend looking at the food before you leave....I got all the way home to my apartment in a high-rise 15 mins awaybefore I pulled my food out of the bag...the picture says it all. The manager was very kind & refunded the money. Probably won't order that again. May not go there anymore. UPDATE: I ordered my husband the turkey melt, he didn't want to say anything because mine was so bad but the greens were wilt edam barely any turkey!! It looked terrible. DO NOT EAT LUNCH HERE. I've had the breakfast in the past and it was fine, but I will never waste my time and money or be embarrassed by their lunch again. Sorely disappointed.
Rebecca M — Google review
Sunday Press quickly became a favorite after I tried their croissant swirls to go—absolutely loved them! I came back excited to try their savory brunch options, but unfortunately, they missed the mark. The croissant sandwich looked amazing but tasted bland, and the croissant itself felt a bit stale. I also tried the eggs Benedict, and it was a letdown—the hollandaise sauce was watery and lacked flavor. Thankfully, the chocolate croissant swirl was still as good as ever. Stick to the pastries here; savory options were disappointing.
Vevolt S — Google review
First, the online ordering system failed—I had already paid for my order, but when I arrived for pickup, they had no record of it. Second, when I finally received my order, the matcha was sour and barely had any actual matcha in it. Third, my wrap was soggy and watery, which was super unappetizing. And lastly, the staff was extremely disrespectful and unhelpful throughout the whole situation. This used to be one of my favorite spots, but it’s really gone downhill since they added the bar. I hope they turn things around, because it’s disappointing to see such a once-great place decline like this.

Food was tasty, fresh and front counter staff were nice. I had the chicken and waffles while my partner enjoyed a chicken salad sandwich. Both items were good, I'd say the only miss for me were the overnight oats - they were too dry and lumpy. Seemed like whoever packed it didn't use enough milk. Would still return since the service and food was good - also they have a bar if that's something you enjoy. Cheers!

Got the Vanilla Chia Seed pudding with fruit and granola because it was a buy one get one. $10+ for both. First time ordering from here. It's good, but nothing I can't make at home and typically do. Had a gotten this without the BOGO deal and paid full price, I would never have gone back. Very limited portion for $10+ a serving!!!! I'm actually hesitant to try anything else due to the price of this is the amount you'll receive. Overall, the chia seed pudding is tasty, but not extraordinary, and definitely not worth the expense. Hence the 3 stars. I guess everything is more expensive and smaller quantities these days. I'll go back to making it myself at home.

Grabbed some macarons from Sweets by Belén—so good! The raspberry one was fruity and sweet, and the little hamburger macaron (vanilla flavor!) was such a fun surprise. Super cute and really tasty. The Nutella chocolate cookie was soft and delicious.

Sweets By Belen is a small and beautiful dessert shop. While the interior decor was very captivating, what attracted my attention more was the desserts in the showcases. The colors on the desserts were bright. I was greeted warmly by the owner upon stepping into the store. She introduced the desserts to me, and I loved it that all of them were made in house. The macarons were on sale - buy 2 get 1 free. I got the Nutella, pistachio, and passion fruit flavors. There were some cute unicorn macarons too! The macaron shells were a tad too crunchy, and needed more flavors. However the macarons weren’t overly sweet, which made them easy to eat. I also got the passion fruit 3 leches cake. It was good. I loved the slight tartness from the passion fruit against the sweet cake. I would visit again to get the whole cakes, as they looked very appetizing.

The desserts are so delicious! I got a small surprise bag from them from too good to go and i loved the little cake pops they had shaped as a chic. I was also given a flan, and a cookie! I recommend this place if you love Latin desserts. Lady was so nice I'd come back for it agian. 😭💕

I came in for a tres leches cake and, although they were out at the moment, the lady kindly offered to make a fresh one if I could wait about an hour. The environment was clean and beautiful, and the service was warm and welcoming. The cake itself was absolutely delicious — rich in flavor, perfectly moist, and definitely worth both the wait and the price. Highly recommend!

If you're in Houston, make sure to stop by Lady M Cake Boutique at the Galleria for an exquisite dessert experience. This charming bakery is celebrated for its elegant cakes and delightful pastries, particularly their signature mille crepes that are as delicious as they are beautiful. The atmosphere is chic and inviting, perfect for enjoying a sweet treat or two. During my visit, I couldn't resist trying the Mont Blanc cake—a rich chestnut-flavored delight that's popular in Japan—and it did not disappoint!
Knew this place from the Galleria location. Saw this location is finally open, so decided to check it out. Place has a very nice dining area and living up to its name "boutique." Saw "Mont Blanc (chestnut-flavored cake)" and tried it; it's a popular cake in Japan. It was rich and flavorful. Didn't buy their mille crepes this visit but I bet they are excellent. They often have different seasonal flavors of them, sawand also have special cakes like Mont Blac too. It's a very good treat.

Very clean restaurant. Yummy crepe cakes and ice cream. Service was good but not amazing. I would give it 4.5 stars if I could, but the price of the cakes are a $$, so a 4 will do. Would come back again.

One of the best cake places in the state. I tried the first location in NY. Their cakes are amazing and super delicious. The customer service is good and quick. Swing by the place if you're around. A decent place to pick up cakes for special occasions. Their most popular flavor is green tea but today I tried the original flavor, super creamer and milky. Worth a try. I can't wait to try more flavor. Welcome to Houston!!!

EaDough is a charming bakery and coffee shop located conveniently off a walking path. The pastries are described as elevated, with the cookies and croissants being particular favorites among visitors. The coffee, roasted on-site at Blackwater Coffee Roasters, has been highly praised for its quality and contribution to the third wave coffee movement.
This might be one of my favorite bakeries I’ve ever been to in my whole entire life. It’s a cute place with surprisingly a lot of high-quality options. They have unique drinks and pastry items. The service was amazing and quick. The bodega sandwich was good and had lots of flavor. The cinnamon roll latte was very good and not overly sweet. The pastries, which was the highlight of the whole meal was unforgettable. I highly recommend this place. It would come back.

Love to stop by on our weekend rides and enjoy an espresso beverage w the occasional pastry. It’s fun to see who all is walking over from the neighborhood for a quick visit. EaDough is a cool little place with some fabulous baked goods. The coffee and matcha sounded great but I haven’t sampled it yet. The ham and Gruyère cheese kolache is great with plenty of filling and a soft bread around it. Love Croissants is a hidden gem in a big city, offering the best croissants made with fancy French butter from Burgundy and Normandy. The bakery shares space with Weights + Measures and offers an impressive selection of croissants, including Butter Croissant, Pain Au Chocolat, Toasted Almond & Cardamom, and Blueberry and Lime Tart.
This place is truly a hidden gem in Houston! The croissants are absolutely amazing – perfectly flaky, buttery, and baked to perfection. What really sets them apart is the incredible mix of flavors in each croissant. Every bite feels unique, with creative combinations that balance sweetness and richness in the most delightful way. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into every pastry. If you’re in Houston and love croissants, this is a must-visit spot!
Anabett G — Google review
Love Croissants has been on my list as a local foodie for quite a while. And I finally got to try them out this weekend. Not only are the staff extremely welcoming and open to questions, they really put heart into their work, which are displayed into their handling. Throughout the store, there are even pictures of the staff and their families to add to the homey touches. I haven’t even gotten to the seemingly religious experience of the bites themselves. I came in with my mindset ready to order 4 croissants. I was so enthused with their detailed work, that I walked out with 7 of them. On my first bite, each individual layer of dough made itself known with a beautiful accompanying crisp sound. Please, let me fawn over their attention to each layer. The Ella was one that truly knocked my socks off, actually recommended by the staff. The turkey and goat cheese croissant hit the right notes of texture and flavor. But hands-down, the star of the show was the classic butter, croissant—where there’s no competition to the layers themselves. Just crisp layers, butter, and love. Did I come back the next day? … did you read the review? Of course, I did. I always expect season 2 to be a bit of a downer than the first season. They lived up to my experience of the first season.
Ailinh D — Google review
It was a cute little place with outside seating. The food was very expensive for what it was, but I could tell that they used quality ingredients. The Ham and Asiago croissant was packed with ham, unfortunately, it tasted pretty basic. On the display, there was an empty pastry case, and that was because once someone ordered the Apple Crumble, they'd add the vanilla pastry cream, apple, and crumble then and there. That was something I've never seen, and it was nice that they serve is so fresh. The workers were very friendly.
Val W — Google review
Popped into this little bakery on my way to Sesh and had the most delicious muffin ever. The young lady who helped me with my order was very kind and accommodating. I can't wait to go back to try out the other sweet and savory baked goods on their menu!
Y. T — Google review
This pastry is truly delightful! You can really taste the rich butter in the croissant, which makes it so tasty. The combination of cream lime with guava jam and lemon zest is just fantastic—wow!
Cristina O — Google review
I knew I was hungry, but I didn’t know I was about to have a borderline spiritual experience. This turkey and goat cheese croissant didn’t just satisfy a craving—it rewired my taste buds. First off, the croissant: impossibly flaky, golden, and buttery with that slight crunch on the outside that gives way to soft, airy layers inside. Already a win. Then comes the filling. The turkey? Juicy, flavorful, and carved—not sliced—so it felt substantial and rich. But the real game-changer? The goat cheese. Tangy, creamy, and just funky enough to make every bite interesting. It melted into the warm croissant like it was always meant to be there, wrapping the savory turkey in this velvety, slightly tart embrace. Every bite was balanced—rich but not heavy, indulgent but somehow still fresh. The goat cheese elevated it to something that felt both comforting and gourmet. Final verdict: This isn’t just a croissant. It’s a masterpiece wrapped in pastry. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Would eat again immediately. Would fight someone for the last one.
L G — Google review
This is the bakery I’ve always wanted but never knew I needed until today. I showed up on a lazy Sunday, and this croissant really took my day to the next level. The staff was incredibly friendly and patient as I asked questions about half the menu, they provided helpful recommendations on how best to enjoy the food, and overall created such a positive environment that I’ll be sure to return again and again. On top of that, this was genuinely the best croissant I’ve ever had. Crispy and flaky on the outside with a soft buttery core, filled with a tender flavorful piece of turkey and a rich herbaceous goat cheese. Truly I was blown away, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit and the chance to try more of their menu.

I love all things pastry and bakery!! This place was a great discovery. Greeted by 2 friendly servers. Even with a language barrier we were able to communicate via a phone app translation. ECK Bakery is a modest bakery known for its delectable Chinese baked goods, particularly the renowned egg custard tarts. The establishment has garnered a strong reputation for its Hong Kong-style pastries, with patrons praising the flaky egg tart shells and the luscious custard filling. In addition to their signature egg tarts, ECK Bakery offers an array of other delightful pastries such as fried sesame red bean balls and Japanese cheesecake.
A friend recommended this spot for the egg tarts. While the egg tarts are good, the mango mochi is the star of the show in my opinion. It's filled with actual chunks of mango which is delicious. It is ready around 12 even though they open earlier. I also tried the wife cake. It was a little dry for me, but I liked the flavor of the filling. I was told it's cash only, but they accept card for a small fee.

First time coming to this place and try their eck tart! It was so fluffy and delicious!!! It was late afternoon and I’m sure it’s been out since they baked but that was still that good! We tried mochi and Japanese cheese cake and they were all good! Love to be back again! One thing I can point out is that Inside the store is not that inviting since it’s quite messy there with all kind of items. Other than that, it was good. Keep up the good work and service! :) Cheers 🥂

The egg tarts are SO GOOD! Super crispy with delicious custard. They have a ton of other amazing baked goods too. This is mainly a to-go place and there’s almost no seating.
Sarah — Google review
The egg tarts here are $2 each and absolutely delicious—crispy, flaky, and filled with a rich, aromatic custard. They are some of the best I’ve had and are definitely worth trying. Aside from egg tarts, the shop offers a variety of other items, including curry puffs and zongzi, giving you plenty of options to explore if you’re looking for something savory or unique. The shop itself is quite simple and unpretentious, focusing more on the food than the ambiance. Don’t expect a warm greeting or small talk, but the service is efficient. One thing to note is that they do accept card payments, but there’s a 2.5% processing fee, so it might be worth bringing cash if you want to avoid the extra charge. Overall, a great spot for anyone looking for tasty baked goods or snacks!

I would pay more for the old ECK egg tarts from around 10 years ago. They were big and had so much more custard. Like a mouth full of custard all the way until the last bite. Still good but I wouldn't go for a dozen anymore. The guy told me he *thinks* they're the same size. I'm positive they're not because the original ones left a strong impression on me that had me coming here just for dozens of egg tarts. If you're reading this, bring those back and take my money!!

Love their egg tarts and cakes! I ordered a cake here for my brother’s birthday. It was my first time trying their cakes and it was delicious! This place is a good mom&pop shop with amazing desserts.

Memorial Bakery is a popular spot in Houston known for its wedding and specialty cakes, as well as an assortment of pies, pastries, homemade breads, and sugar cookies. Visitors rave about the moist and delicious pound cakes available in flavors like blueberry, original, and banana nut. The petit fours in vanilla and chocolate are also highly recommended treats. Customers have praised the bakery for creating beautiful custom cakes that not only look stunning but also taste amazing.
I sent in a picture of what I wanted and they recreated the cake exactly. I have never ordered a cake before and was so worried it wouldn’t turn out right but it was absolutely perfect! It tasted so good too!

Ridiculous. First I go in expecting a lot.. the lady was just telling me no before I even said anything, the guy who took my order was nice I guess just listening to her idk. I just wanted a simple round cake for my nephews first birthday.. nothing hard.. this is just ridiculous I’m so upset.. the cherry fallout. Come on, and I was willing to spend anything for it.

The cupcakes we got for my son’s bday were all a huge it! We went with the staple flavors, strawberry, white and chocolate. The cake was perfect, and the frosting was also delicious. It wasn’t too rich, it was perfect. Well done Memorial Bakery! I’ll be back for our next event! Thanks

Great experience with our screen-printed birthday cake. From my initial helpful phone call to setting up the design, the process was smooth. We had a child with a peanut allergy attending, and the bakery directly confirmed the cake's safety with the parent, which gave us great peace of mind. The cake itself was a big success and tasted wonderful. Highly recommend!

I think giving honest reviews helps the consumer make good choices for products they don't buy often. Memorial Bakery has become one of my families favorites for cakes and cookies. Recently I had a graduation party and ordered 48 cupcakes and 48 Baylor cookies for the party. They were a hit! We had to put aside a couple for later to enjoy before the party was over. I would recommend Memorial Bakery to anyone needing desserts for large crowds, or even pop in for a coffee and a sweet treat! Pricing is a little higher than others, but you are in a higher end part of town.

One of my absolute favorite bakeries in Houston to visit. I always get a pound cake if they are available. I have gotten the blueberry, original and banana nut pound cakes and they are very moist and delicious. I have gotten them for work and everyone at work loves them. I love getting their petit fours vanilla and chocolate, both are my favorites to get when I visit. I have also gotten cupcakes in a variety of flavors, I have not regretted it. I have also bought a variety of cookies for friends as gifts and they have loved them each time, the astros cookies made wonderful gifts. The savory food they have here are just as yummy as their desserts. I don't think there is anything that i wouldn't try here and I wouldn't like.

LuLoo's Day & Night in Garden Oaks is a delightful culinary gem brought to life by the creators of Blood Bros. This vibrant eatery is an ideal spot for families looking to enjoy a leisurely lunch after some outdoor fun at the nearby Stomping Grounds. With a menu featuring hearty options like giant smashed meatball subs and towering club sandwiches, there's something for everyone. Don't forget to check out their daily baked goods, but be cautious with the dessert display—those cinnamon rolls are tempting!
My wife, my mother and I came here for brunch on a Saturday morning. We arrived 5 minutes after Opening and there was a small line already forming! I happened to see the Limited Beef Bacon Sando, and it was well worth it my wife and I both enjoyed it and thought it was quite flavorful, and filling! My mom had the turkey sandwich and enjoyed it as well! Clay and the rest of the staff are top notch! Clay kept us in the loop and ensured that we were well taken care of! We definitely plan to come back and enjoy other items on the menu!

Definitely recommend the pastrami sandwich and fries. The fries are 100% my favorite style of fry. Everyone in my party was very happy with their dishes. My lack of a 5th star comes from no fountain drinks, only canned soda which is just not ever a good offering. This would be a great set up for a Maine root fountain or any variety of those yummy sugar cane soda fountains. Okay also the picnic table out front had big banners maybe laying on it so it looked disheveled and weren’t usable.

Saw it on the Chris Sheperd eat like a local show and had to come try. We tried the fried bologna with fried okra and cheeseburger and fries. Both are delicious and a lot of food for two people. They have a bar inside if you want to drink. They have an outdoor area they share with the other restaurants. The whole complex is called stomping grounds. Highly recommend you try the place. We were able to find parking and the service at Luloo's is great, very friendly and accommodating. Can't wait to come back and try some of the other menu items esp the ones with Blood Bros bbq meat.

The rodeo cheeseburgers are amazing! Highly recommend. The fries come out seasoned and so crispy. We also got the turkey bun mi, which was OK. It could’ve had some more flavor to that one. But we also got the chips and queso Blanco with smoked brisket. The smoked brisket was to die for! This is my second time coming, and I made sure to bring my husband this time. I love the atmosphere even if you don’t have small kids it’s still a good time to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Pictures are from my first visit. But I wanted to share them anyway.

Good sound track. Friendly service. Loved walking in on a whim and enjoying it this much. The frozen painkiller KILLED. If we didn't have other plans we would have stayed longer. The food was fresh and elegant. The focaccia was so flaky and buttery. Do yourself a favor and get you some.

We came here for a sandwich and loved the outdoor seating. The service was great. I had the fried bologna sandwich, which was good but very heavy (no surprise.)

I stopped by here for lunch on a Wednesday around noon and was pleasantly surprised by the cute space. Menu is short and sweet, and includes kid-friendly options. I went for the Turkey Club with a side of fries and a drink. The sandwich was super yum and had the perfect ratio of ingredients. I was a big fan of the sprouts (very old school) and the milk bread was delish. Fries were golden crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Good, solid fries. Pretty tasty. Can’t complain. I also loved that they didn’t serve fountain drinks—cans only. Damage was $22.45 after tip. Already looking forward to my next visit!

Tried the fried smoked bologna sandwich and the Blood Bros turkey banh mi and a side of fried okra. Shared the food with a friend we were mainly there for tasting and experiencing the sandwiches. They were both Delicious and the fried bologna sandwiches take you back to your childhood. If you lived in the south in Texas chances are you’ve had that before it’s nostalgic. The frid okra was great great.

Supreme Kakes & More is a delightful bakery nestled in Houston, renowned for its stunningly crafted cakes and treats tailored for weddings and special events. This creative haven invites you to unleash your imagination when designing your dream cake or dessert. Whether you're planning a wedding, birthday, or any celebration, Supreme Kakes & More offers custom orders made with all-natural ingredients that promise both beauty and flavor.
This baker did our wedding cake, anniversary cake, bridal shower cakes, and several birthday cakes for us since our wedding! Their cake is absolutely delicious and when I called them the week before my wedding because my husband decided he also wanted to add on 100 brownies, they accommodated our last-minute request flawlessly. Our favorite flavor is the guava passionfruit and we STILL get comments about how good our cake was several years later! I would definitely recommend this business for your wedding, birthday, shower, or any other cake needs! Beautiful decorations and exceptional flavors and fillings. We will keep coming back here every time for the same delicious cake as it is dang near the best one I’ve ever had!

Supreme Kakes delivered a beautiful, decadent cake for our event. We scheduled a tasting a month before our event. The tasting offered us 10+ flavors to try and rate. Each flavor is unique and paired with a complimentary filling. Our event was a Quinceañera so the tasting was accommodated for three people. We decided on two flavors and were able to customize every inch of the cake. We brought pictures to show what elements we wanted on the cake. Our cake decorated drew out the cake so that we could see what the final product would look like. The cake was delivered and set up at our venue and it was spectacular! It looked more beautiful than what we imagined. The cake was fresh and moist and we received so many compliments on the flavor and decor of the cake. We couldn’t be happier and highly recommend Supreme Kakes!

Art in cake forn! Stunning 🤩😍! Everything is just picture perfect and amazing work! I stopped by for a delicious latte and some empanadas which were delicious to the amazing chimichurri that came with my to go order. I did have a slice of carrot cake but will not review it as I ate it a few days later and know that can impact taste. Will go back just to try the cakes. Great service😃 I took several of their catering menus and will make sure to add to a future event.

Hands down one of my favorite parts of my wedding was my cake! I had envisioned my dream cake for quite sometime and it ranked high on my priority list. From the start, Veronica listened to all my ideas and to exactly what I wanted. I showed her a few examples and details, she sketched it out, offered some creative input and created a cake that went above and beyond my wildest expectations! A cake of my size and detail was very reasonably priced compared to the other bakers who were quoting me an arm and a leg to create. My jaw dropped and I was floored when I first saw my cake and the guests loved it too! Oh and of course the cake was delicious and we were able to have a variety of flavors to serve. THANK YOU so much Veronica for making my dream cake a reality, it was truly something I will never forget and a memory I will always cherish. HIGHLY recommend!

Traveling all the way from New Jersey to deal with an unhappy bride, we discovered that the cake we had ordered for her bridal shower was not the same as she had requested. The cake had a different flavor and texture, and the paper that was supposed to transition from “miss” to “Mrs.” was pink from the moist that was bleeding from the black buttercream, making it impossible to burn. When we explained the situation to a lady they call the boss and the manager was refusing to talk to us, she refused to accept our concerns and insisted that it was not possible to make the cake marble with buttercream frosting. They even tried to give us a store credit without even speaking to us first. We were disappointed with the way the cake turned out and the aftertaste was disgusting. The manager later on talked to us and tried to give us a store credit without even addressing our concerns. We provided her with a list of the issues with the cake, and she was not letting us express our concerns regarding the cake and all that we went through they day before at the pick up. I’ll let you decide what we expected in a dark green, white, and black cake. Stay tuned for the maid of honor review and pictures.

A Slice of Heaven: Supreme Kakes Made Our Wedding Day Unforgettable. We had the most heartwarming experience with Supreme Kakes for our wedding at the Pelazzio in March 2024. Our cake was absolutely perfect, capturing our “Our Stars Aligned” theme with a beautiful design that resembled space and stars. It matched our wedding colors of navy, sage green, white, gold, and cream so wonderfully. The white roses they placed added such a special touch, and I couldn't have asked for anything more beautiful. It brought tears to my eyes seeing how everything came together, making our day feel so incredibly special. The flavors were beyond amazing! We chose vanilla and strawberries and cream, and they were simply the best. Every bite was a burst of fresh, delicious flavor that had our guests raving all night long. It was truly the best cake we’ve ever had, and I am so grateful for the joy it brought to everyone. From start to finish, the team at Supreme Kakes made us feel so cared for. They handled everything with such warmth and attention, making the whole process so stress-free and enjoyable. Their passion for what they do shone through in every detail, and they took our vision and brought it to life in a way that was even better than we could have imagined. The cake arrived right on time, and the setup was perfect, with every detail lovingly placed. I am incredibly thankful to Supreme Kakes for making our wedding day so special. Their unwavering dedication and the love they put into their work made us feel cherished and appreciated. If you’re looking for a cake that’s not only beautiful but tastes like a slice of heaven, look no further. We can’t wait to order our anniversary cake and any future celebration cakes from them. Thank you, Supreme Kakes, for being a part of our best day ever. Your cake was the highlight of our wedding, and we are eternally grateful for how special you made us feel.

I had NO wedding cake!!! Completely devastated that an hour prior to my wedding I received a call from the owner stating the cake was completely destroyed during delivery. Although I was refunded 100% of my money, there was a display at my wedding, we didn’t get to cut our cake and the cake topper that was handmade and all cake decor was for nothing!!!!
Kyra R — Google review
I ordered the wedding cake and full dessert table for a wedding. The wedding cake looked and tasted good. But the dessert table was disappointing. Some of the mini cups were not edible, the filling was sticky in the cups like a glue and the guests were asking me what is that supposed to be and it ends up with it to be thrown in the trash. It was embarrassing and disappointing. I would buy only the cake and get the dessert from somewhere else.

Mrs. Tammy has been our wedding cake baker for 10 years. She is amazing and so are her cakes. You will not be disappointed. I posted 3 cakes. The white large 4 tier and the Swanga cake is from our initial wedding 10 years ago in April and the medium 3 tier is from this year from our wedversary. We were the very first customer to get that Swanga cake. 🤘🏽☺️ And fortunately we were able to renew our vows on our exact wedding day in April this year. Thank you again Mrs. Tammy. We’ll see you soon. 🩷🩷🩷

Thank you so much Tammy and your team for making our dream wedding cake come to life. The whole experience with you all was amazing. The wedding tasting was so personal and it was so hard to choose flavors because they are all DELICIOUS! The day of our wedding they showed up to set it all up and so many of our guests complimented not only how beautiful the cake was but also how good it tasted, it was exactly what we picked at our initial appointment. Thanks again! We will continue to recommend you to our friends and family.

Tammy Allen is such a delight and her cakes are incredible!!! She really made my wedding cake dreams come true (and my husband's grooms cake dream as well)! I tasted her cake at a wedding expo and knew immediately I needed to have it at my wedding. She was so easy to work with and was accommodating in making last minute changes. The cakes were delicious and moist. Unfortunately I didn't get to eat much of it the day of the wedding, but so thankful she'll make us a complimentary cake for our 1 year anniversary. Can't wait for that!

Me and my Fiancé had a wonderful time cake tasting with Tammy. It was truly an amazing experience. She had a very nice shop. She was very patient with us during the design process and showed us a lot of different ideas while also tailoring to our likes. The tastes of the cakes were absolutely phenomenal!!! The melon cake was our favorite but honestly all 8 that we tried could be top 1 for us. I say all this to say, we definitely signed our contract on the same day. We were 100% confident in our decision to choose Tammy before we left that store and we can’t wait to see what she has in store for us when our wedding day is here!

We sampled wedding cakes all over town before finally finding Tammy. The entire process with her was so much better than any of the other places we checked out. We knew immediately during the tasting that this was our cake! We decided on two flavors - the butter cake and the almond ameretta with raspberry and both were absolutely delicious. The sugar flower details on the cake were stunning. This was honestly one of my favorite parts of our wedding! Tammy was such a joy to work with and I could not be happier with what she did for us. I might need to have a party soon just to get another cake from her!
Kathryn M — Google review
Although we didn't have a complex design, I thought Tammy did so well with our textured layers. And more importantly, the cake was SO delicious. We got three flavors - Texas Melon, Almond Buttercream, and Cinnamon Grand Marnier. All of them were amazing. We had several people comment on how delicious it was and how it was the best wedding cake they've ever had. I'm not surprised, because it's the best wedding cake my husband and I have ever had as well. Schedule a tasting and try it for yourself! We loved how during our tasting, Tammy had no need to try to "sell" her cake to us like the other bakeries did. The cake speaks for itself.

Tammy made us such an amazing grooms cake! We had more than enough cake for everyone and it was completely gone by the end of the night. Two months later, and I’m still getting compliments. Only complaint is that it was agreed that the dogs would be made of fondant and coming out of the top but instead she printed pictures of them and placed them on the front. Made the cake look a bit funny. Clearly that didn’t affect my rating since everything else was so tasty and spot on! 📷 Courtney Leigh Photography

Becca Cakes is the go-to bakery for all your sweet needs, especially with Valentine's Day just around the corner! They are now accepting pre-orders for delightful treats like their Valentine's Gift Set, which includes a heart-shaped cake perfect for two, ruby chocolate truffles, and scrumptious white chocolate sipped sugar cookies. You can also find an array of cookie stacks, assorted macarons, cupcakes, and more to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Becca and her team were amazing to work with. Vintage cakes are so popular that it’s been hard to find someone who is willing to take the time to work with you and make sure that you’re getting exactly what you want. From the beginning, their responses were timely and we worked together to create a birthday cake I had see on social media. They absolutely nailed it! The cake was perfect and delicious. It was a great birthday thanks to them! I really appreciate their service. Becca Cakes exceeded all my expectations!

Every single thing was perfect for my son's 18th birthday and high school graduation, back-to-back cakes for back-to-back events. Co-creating the ideas, making the choices, payment process, instructions on how to handle and transport, and the TASTE. there is no cake left in our house and we ordered way too much. As our house full of people began to dwindle over the past week, everyone kept going to the freezer for "just one more piece." I will not go to another place; I will only recommend Becca Cakes to friends and family. Everyone oo'd and ahh'd the whole time. Simply perfection.

I. had a very particular look in mind for our wedding cake, and my husband has discerning taste, so finding the right person to make our wedding cake was crucial. After carefully researching numerous cake vendors, I was thrilled to discover Becca Pham at Becca Cakes, whose portfolio perfectly captured the look I envisioned for our wedding cake. My fiancé and I set up a cake tasting and the rest was history. The cake she crafted was a true masterpiece, reflecting our aesthetic preferences flawlessly, and the flavor was simply divine. Our guests couldn't stop raving about both the cake and the cupcakes - the salted caramel and lemon flavors were huge hits. The cake itself was not only visually stunning but also incredibly moist, with a delicate and light frosting that complemented the flavors beautifully. Working with Becca was a delightful experience - she was sweet, gracious, and a true professional. We are looking forward to enjoying the remaining cake on our anniversary! Thank you, Becca, for creating such a wonderful and memorable cake for our wedding.

Warning: if you get your wedding cake here, you risk the first fight of your marriage being over who gets the last slice! This is the BEST CAKE I have ever tasted. Even the fondant was delightful. I wanted to surprise my groom with a little chocolate cake, as we had gotten our larger main cake from a different baker and I'm not usually a fan of chocolate, so it was lemon blueberry. My wedding planner got Becca Cakes to do an adorable little Pokémon themed cake for him. It was so freaking good, we are tossing the top tier of the lemon blueberry mistake and planning on getting a fresh Becca cake for our anniversary next year! (Despite also loving the cake, he told me I could take the last slice - now that's true love.)

We couldn’t be happier with the incredible desserts For Heavens Cake created for our wedding! The wedding cake was absolutely stunning and tasted just as amazing as it looked. One of the biggest highlights was the custom Steelers groom’s cake—it was a huge hit and looked perfect! Beyond the cakes, the cake balls, brownies, and cookies were equally delicious. Our guests raved about everything, and there wasn’t a single treat left by the end of the night. Every detail was carefully crafted, and it was clear how much passion and skill went into the baking. Thank you so much, For Heavens Cake, for making our wedding extra special with your amazing work. We highly recommend you to anyone looking for top-quality, beautiful, and delicious baked goods!

Our wedding cake was wonderful! We were supposed to have 3 different flavors (lemon, red velvet, Cinnabon) but we didn’t get our red velvet tier. Just 2 Cinnabon and a lemon. I used For Heaven's Cake for my wedding in March 2024. They were excellent! I would 10/10 recommend them to any bride in the Cypress/Houston area. The only minor con was email communication getting a tasting set up (however, they were in the process of moving from the Jersey Village location to Cypress, so I am sure that is a lot better now). We got german chocolate for the groom's cake and lemon raspberry for the wedding cake. They did an AMAZING job and there was no cake leftover. They know exactly how to walk you through the process and are extremely professional. They far exceeded our expectations!!

Sweet Delights Wedding Cakes is a bakery that specializes in wedding cakes and all-occasion cakes. Owner Roslyn Allen has more than 25 years of experience, and her cakes are popular with couples who want something unique and fresh-looking. Some flavors available at Sweet Delights include chocolate, vanilla, cherry, and strawberry.
Sweet Delights did a great job with our wedding cake. It was just as we asked for it to be decorated, and they fulfilled a special request for adding Cake Pulls. The cake was 3 different flavors and each were great. Delivery was flawless. Cake Pulls - The ribbons seen in the pictures have charms attached to them that are pulled out of the cake by people of the bride's choosing prior to the cake cutting.

My daughter was married two weeks ago, and Connie's creation was not only beautiful, but delicious, as well. I don't think I've ever tasted a better cake. She made the almond butter cake with buttercream icing, and it was amazing! I highly recommend Sweet Delights Wedding Cakes! Connie was so sweet and accommodating, and that made our experience even better. I am so thankful that we came across this amazing lady and her exquisite talent; my daughter's wedding day was perfect . . . and so was the cake! Thank you, Connie!

One word... AMAZING!!!! Connie, the owner, gave us excellent customer service regarding my daughter's Sweet Sixteen Chanel Birthday Cake - EVERYONE (my daughter, birthday party guests, strangers, event workers - EVERYONE) LOVED the cake. Connie delivered our cake ahead of time so there was not delay or worry if the cake would be there. She left me with NO WORRIES. She handled EVERYTHING professionally so all I had to do was focus on all the other areas and just be mom. Sweet Delights Wedding Cakes is my new official bakery and go to for ALL our sweet needs!

Very nice lady, super delicious wedding cake. The almond butter flavor was awesome, every guest likes it. The decorations are pretty with fresh flowers. Wow, it's like an art that you would like to keep it forever instead of eating it. Delivery was as planned. I'm very satisfied and will come back for other cake orders.

I found Sweet Delights through a Google search. They made me believe in customer service again! First, they were able to do a 2 tier baby shower cake for me with less than a week's notice even though they were working on a 5 ft. wedding cake for delivery on the same date as my event. Second, not only was the cake beautiful (see pic), it was absolutely delicious! I ordered the almond butter flavor with butter cream frosting. Third and most importantly, a few days after my event, Connie followed up with us to make sure we were satisfied with the cake. I'm giving her number to everyone I know! Continued blessings and much success to Sweet Delights! ♥♥♥ Dee Manuel -- Houston

My husband LOVES hiking and we were so impressed with our groom's cake in particularly that came out even better than we could have imagined. All we did was show Conie a photo on Pinterest with several changes and she delivered! There was no cake left at the end because everyone loved it. Pricing is reasonable and the quality of the cakes is great-- aesthetically and taste wise. Thank you, Conie!

We unequivocally recommend Sweet Delights! Conie was so helpful and easy to work with and then produced the most beautiful cake! It was exactly what I had hoped for and what I had attempted to describe! Actually better than I’d hoped! Such talent! Our guests are still commenting on our beautiful and delicious wedding cake! We were ecstatic that our cake was surely the most beautiful centerpiece ever! I will recommend Conie and Sweet Delights over and over again!

This was the best experience I’ve had at a bakery! Michelle is phenomenal! If you haven’t bought a cake from Cake Life Co. here’s your reason to do so today! From the first call with Michelle I knew she was going to deliver. She had incredible customer service, she walked me through her seamless process and assured me she would make my girlfriends birthday special. Mind you this was a late order and she did exactly what she said she would. The cake was delivered in a timely manner and she called me to thank me for shopping with her and reassured me of my order delivery. The cake was beautiful and very delicious but the service was just as good! Thank you so much for your help Michelle! My girlfriend said thank you as well! ❤️

Not Your Ordinary Cakes did amazing work on a birthday cake I ordered. With customized cakes, I always call ahead of time but it was last minute and was looking for someone to do a cake for my husbands manager and it turned out wonderful, everyone loved it and the flavor was beyond amazing! I provided a picture of what I was looking for and Jessica delivered. The time I needed it for changed and Jessica was so kind and went above and beyond to make sure the cake was done earlier than originally planned. I highly recommend to call Not your Ordinary Cakes for your event!

We just moved to the area and I googled bakeries who specialized in weddings. NYO cakes popped up and I went to check her work out from her website. I fell in love with her designs and immediately contacted her to inquire about designing my wedding cake. She made a cake tasting appointment with me and now husband and brought out a spread of cake flavors for us to try. Not only were her samples sooo good I wanted to move forward with Jessica because she was very detailed on how she makes her cakes, her artistic design, but most of all her PASSION! I came up with a concept of my vision for our cakes. However I allowed Jessica to take full creative control and she DID NOT disappoint! She has a client for life!!
Shayna E — Google review
So I was suggested to use Jessica with not your ordinary cake. I on the other hand do not suggest this business AT ALL. I would say that she was willing to “fix” my daughters birthday cake, but I chose to cut my losses. The fact that as a baker and a business owner she even thought this was okay to send out blows my mind. Not only is it sloppy and looks as if she put it together last minute it’s missing half the decorations ( no stars, no flowers, no name, no number 4) and also the color scheme is completely opposite. It was supposed to be pastels and dainty and instead I received bright vibrant and loud. I am highly disappointed and will never be using this company again. She also made remarks about how the cake could taste funky if left in the fridge with certain foods. Jessica the owner made comments about Indians leaving curry dishes in refrigerators and that’s why their cake tasted nasty. I was shocked as she told me this. I attached a picture of the inspiration to compare to what I received. Hopefully she will have some integrity and offer at least half refund. UPDATE: the cake tasted like boxed mix. It was super spongy and tasted almost like soap very funky taste. I made sure per her racist suggestion to have no leftovers in the fridge. again DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS LADY!
Jessica L — Google review
I found this bakery online. I had talked to several bakeries in the area and Jessica by far was helpful. She was truly interested to know what I wanted. I had a beach theme and colors picked out, that's it. I was not extremely picky of the design. We sat down at her bakery, which was still being built, to have our taste test. She had 4 or 5 little loaves of cake for us to taste along with some fruit fillings. When I say they were all delicious is an understatement. We picked 2 different flavors for our 2 tier cake. We nailed down a rough design. About a week or so from the wedding Jessica messages me with a picture and an idea. She wasn't sure if she could pull off the sugary wings but said it would look great with or without them. Well, she pulled it off and our cake was gorgeous and tasted out of the world. All my guest raved about how good it was. The kids loved the candy seashells and starfish. I had made a homemade cake stand and she worked with me on the height restrictions. I highly highly recommend Jessica and Not Your Ordinary Cakes. Let her work her magic for you!!

Jessica made my wedding cake and the groom's cake. The whole process was simple and easy. Jessica was communicative, creative, and made sure that she understood what we wanted. She worked with us so we can have beautiful cakes and stay in budget. She didn't oversell us on cake. If anything, she talked us down from too much cake by explaining how the cakes will be cut and ideal serving size. The design of the Mandalorian helmet was exactly what my husband wanted and it was a hit with the guests. Oh yes, and the cakes tasted amazing.

From scrumptious cakes to delectable cookies, brownies adorned with various toppings, cupcakes, and pies, every item is crafted with love by owner Carla Navarro. Her mission is to create baked goods that not only satisfy cravings but also warm the hearts of her customers.
I found Whisk Bakery off of The Knot and I was not disappointed! Carla was so sweet and answered any and all questions I had regarding cake sizing. She was also not phased at all when I decided to add a his and hers cake to the ticket. Honestly, our wedding cake was by far the BEST cake I have ever had. In fact, we ate on the leftover cake for a week it was honestly that good. All of our guests loved having the trio of cakes to sample and raved about how yummy it was. Would highly recommend to those brides looking for a cake vendor!
Lacey M — Google review
I have attempted to contact Carla via both email and voicemails for 3 weeks in regards to obtaining the top tier of our wedding cake. We choose her to make our wedding cake because she promises to remake your top tier on your anniversary. Because of this promise, we did not save our top tier and are now out of a beautiful tradition because of her lack of customer service. She lists another bakery on her main contact page, I contacted her there and was able to reach her. Not only was she incredibly rude but she hung up on me when I stated I did not want to have her call me back because she is near impossible to reach. 100% do not recommend.

Guests rave about the warm, smoky-flavored salsa and fresh guacamole. The wait staff receives high praise, with mentions of attentive service from servers like Billie and Melissa.
Good food, nice atmosphere (a little loud in a festive way), and great service. Our server was Mikey and what a waiter! Even though the restaurant and he were quite busy, Mikey made time for us, was prompt, and met our every need and was very nice and friendly. We'll definitely be requesting Mikey as our waiter upon our return. Would recommend the Chipotle shrimp, but everything we had was good. House margaritas were great too.

It was my first time visiting, and I went with a group of friends who had reserved a table after a close friend of mine got baptized. I ordered the fajita special, and when I asked to switch something in my order, they had no problem fixing it right away. The staff made sure I was taken care of, and the service and atmosphere were excellent. Overall, the food was great and the experience even better!

First-Time Visit Made Memorable! I had the pleasure of dining at Pappasito’s in Houston for the first time, and it was an experience worth sharing! From the moment we walked in, our waitress—an incredibly kind and friendly Christian woman—made us feel right at home. She greeted us with genuine warmth and even brought out salsa and queso to start, which was such a thoughtful touch and a delicious surprise! The food was fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and served with care. You can tell the staff takes pride in both the service and the kitchen. As a first-time visitor, I felt welcomed and appreciated, and that’s not something you find everywhere. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great Tex-Mex and even better hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!

Love it here. The service has always been top tier and the food does not disappoint. The sweet and spicy ribs are a MUST TRY! The space is a little small for the amount of tables they’ve put inside but, I still keep coming back, lol; Also the drinks are strong and reasonably priced. They also have a great lunch menu. It’s always busy so, just try them anytime and I’m sure you won’t regret it!

It was great as usual. I was concerned for a while about the small food portions that was being brought to the table fir a high price tag, but pappasitos aren't again being on top of their game, by providing substantial portions of food for the price. Great job.

The service was wonderful. The atmosphere was very nice. The salsa was delicious. The food presentation was nice but I was not impressed with my shrimp quesadilla. I should have been able to add my toppings but the cheese was so thick I couldn't. I hope next time I visit I can try something new.

We have been here many times and the macarons never disappoint. Our favorite flavors are the passion fruit, red velvet, fig and goat cheese but all of them are phenomenal! I tried the knafeh macarons today and they are out of this world! Hope they put it on the menu permanently! The workers are so kind and talented. Love this place!

Visited this establishment for the first time and I probably have a new addiction!!!! The macarons from here are amazing!!!! Lemon is my favorite but the pistachio was also great. I need to try the other flavors. To make it even sweeter- the store over was so nice and welcoming. I am want to give her my business and go in to see her. She’s as lovely as her Macarons!!! I purchased several dozen for gifts and then had to pick some up for our house too. Delicious! Thank you Patisse!

I love macarons and ones from Macaron by Patisse are exceptional! Beautifully presented with many different flavor combinations. They also make gelato with macarons swirled through it… divine!! Blueberry Vanilla bean, Fig & Goats cheese and Dark Chocolate Coconut are some of my favorites. Everyone I have met there are delightful people.

~$2.00 per Macaroon and ~$24 for Dozen. I've loved Macaroons and ate in Cafes from East to West coast, this one is my favorite. They have flavors such as cookies and creams but also Goat cheese. The person serving us was super kind. The place had a comfy and clean atmosphere. They also had Macaroon pops that were unique and very tasty! Try the cookies and creme pop. I'm definently coming back. (30min+ drive) Worth it!

I ordered a Macaron Gift Box with a Personalized note as a graduation gift for a friend. When I came to pick up the online order, apparently it didnt go through properly because they said there was no order that was supposed to be picked up for that time. However, the guy there was understanding, and after showing him the digital reciept, he helped me pick out a new box of Macarons and threw in an extra one on the side for free. 😁 Some of the original flavors that I picked ran out, but they had some other nice flavors that i substituted for. I also got two extra Macarons to try out a few of the flavors and they were very good. I tried the Blueberry Vanilla Bean, Rose, and Red Velvet flavors. Personally, I liked Rose the best... The store looked really nice, and they had various Macaron Towers on display, although I think some of them may be custom flavors. The packaging for my box was really nice looks amazing as a present. Although the price is a bit on the higher side for me, I think they are great for certain occasions or as Gifts.

Extremely cute inside! The bathroom was out of order. The woman who helped me was very friendly. Several flavors to choose from and unique ones to that. The fig and goat cheese is worth trying! Perfect balance of sweet and savory They didn’t taste as fresh except a few. I understand shops have to pre bake to maintain inventory. I was slightly disappointed since I’ve heard amazing things that they weren’t all as fresh as they could be.

Excellent Macarons better than any I have purchased perhaps because they are made fresh here in Houston and have the best fillings or maybe because the selection is over the top amazing with holiday flavors that are developed per holiday Hands down the best cookie! This place smelled fantastic, tasted amazing, is in a great location, and had wonderful service. Very neat place. We stopped by after looking up dessert places near us. The in-house made chocolates are great. The in-house made pies and cakes are great. Just share them with a friend or you’ll end up on a serious sugar rush!! Absolutely LOVED the Tres Leches!! The chocolate cake was dry and just ok. Recommendation for the Chocolate Bar staff... make a Pick 2 or Pick 4 Sampler (with 2 or 4 items) just smaller slices so people can try more flavors.

The Chocolate Bar is a place I have gone to few times(probably about my 6th time now) but it is one I will definitely go to again. They offer a VAST assortment of chocolate treats, cakes, and ice cream. The quality of these chocolate products are amazing and worth every penny. I really have nothing negative to say about this place except that I wish there were MORE locations. And if you want to give your dog a super good treat well they even sell quality dog treats for your best friend. Will definitely be going back.

I first visited the Chocolate Bar a few months ago and have since been back on several occasions. The inside has always been clean, orderly, and well stocked. Even the employees have been on point when I've dropped in. The ice cream was especially tasty but the pecan praline bars (can't remember what exactly they were called) were to die for. Next time I'm in the area I'll get my sugar fix here for sure.

this place is great! if you’re like me and you have just an endless sweet tooth, you’ll be happy here! I got a slice of the Uncle Darrel’s cake, and it was *massive*- they serve it in a to go box though, cause it’s hard to finish in one sitting. my fiancé got a scoop of the mint ice cream with Andes bars in it, and it was fantastic! I’m not usually that big into mint ice creams, but this was fantastic- I might have to come back and get it for myself! additionally we got some of their $3 specialty chocolate bars, to test out the chocolate, and it was fantastic. the staff as well, though very busy, was all super friendly and had some wonderful suggestions! the parking lot is pretty small; just a row out front, which is shared with other storefronts on either side. even though we came at a pretty busy time though, we didn’t have any trouble finding a spot.

Love this place! Can't remember what cake this was but their chocolate cakes are to die for! The cake slices are expensive but huge and very worth it! Often, my wife and I struggle to finish one together. Further, the staff is friendly, place is clean and they have delicious cakes and coffee. The inside also has a very trendy vibe and a great place to take a picture with the neon sign I have pictured below. Highly recommend for your next dessert outing.

The cake was amazing, there's so many choices. We got German chocolate and a three layer chocolate cake, and they were perfect. Super rich and super spongy. On the other side of the shop they have tons of chocolate trinkets as well. It's all around a really great shop, definetly worth the drive if you're like me and you don't live near by. The only downside I can see is the parking lot, it's quite small but there's plenty of places you can park and walk nearby

Kolache Shoppe - Heights is a popular counter-serve pastry shop in Houston, offering a variety of kolaches with sweet and savory fillings, as well as cinnamon rolls. The shop takes pride in using locally sourced ingredients, such as brisket from Pinkertons Barbecue, boudin from Heberts, and sausages from Luling City Market and Kiolbassa Smoked Meats.
This place is definitely packed for a reason. The staff members are amazing and very attentive to all customers. They were very welcoming and quick on their feet. The Kolaches were delicious and the coffees were just right. Y’all need to go before it gets even more packed!

Every time we have come here we have not been disappointed. Staff are nice, lines are quick, and all food options are on point. I highly recommend the iced lavender latte with honey. They have seasonal items that rotate throughout the year and I look forward to when they mix the fruit and cream cheese flavors like blueberries and cream, and peaches and cream kolaches. The drive through can be long, but they are quick to push everyone through and parking can be a little hard when the other shops in the strip are open, but that's not much of a complaint with how quickly they get you in and out. Also! They have an app! You can order ahead for pick up and you get a profile to acquire points for rewards.

Kolaches are soft, tasty, and filling! Just right in my opinion. The coffee is also really good. The place is very clean and the staff is super friendly, everyone said good morning to me (thankfully not in unison lol) and I was in and out! Next time I got my eye on that cinnamon roll 👀

I’ve coming here often since they opened since I live a quick 3 min drive away. The kolaches are consistently delicious, and their service is great! If drive thru line gets backed up, I recommend going inside since they are SUPER fast in there. As for the quality of the kolaches, I definitely give them a 10/10. I’ve tried just about everything on the menu, all the way from the sweeter fruit kolaches to the more savory breakfast and sausage kolaches, and they are all great. A very nice variety to choose from depending on how you’re feeling, and they have really fun “Kolaches of the Month” that are always great. The staff is not only super efficient, but super friendly as well. It’s also located right off the trail, so a great place to grab a quick bite and coffee while on a walk as well. 10/10 all around

When I was introduced to Kolache treats for breakfast several years ago, I was never that impressed-- most are filled with something akin to a hot dog, not really what I want for breakfast. The Kolache Shoppe on Heights Blvd is the only place I have found that puts extremely tasty meats into their primary sandwiches. The other reason for the Review is these folks just do an awesome job, every time. The recipe has not deviated in the last few years I have been a customer, I appreciate their sandwich so much I felt compelled to write this review for them-- and I am not someone who writes reviews often. The small store is always very clean, and the folks behind the counter are always on point. For take-out breakfast kolache options in town, this is just the Best place ever if you are looking for something more than a hot dog for breakfast!

Kolache Shoppe is now part of my morning routine, and the service is a big reason why. Adam is always upbeat and helpful, even before the coffee kicks in. Cesar is so easy to talk to and genuinely makes the day better. I usually drive off smiling and later with sugar crumbs all over the place. My go-to order: cinnamon rolls, BBQ brisket and jalapeño kolaches, and the cherry kolache. The dough is so pillowy-soft, and nothing is overly sweet. It’s the kind of spot that makes you wish they opened on Mondays!
Amy D — Google review
My wife introduced me to the Kolache Shoppe and now I really love it. We have tried some varieties including cinnamon rolls and brisket, and most recently, seasonal Frito Pie. We love everything here and especially the nice fluffy dough. This location has a drive-thru and a couple small outside tables but not really any indoor seating. Good selection of coffees. Since I haven't actually been here yet I want to go soon.
