Iris was amazing in helping me secure goodies for our Q2 birthdays at work. Most definitely appreciate the care 😊 n packing them up so flavors didn't smear or get onto other Cupcakes in transport, and so it was easy to remove them without touching another person's cupcake.

8/10/24: I wanted to try the Strawberry Cake Slice but it looked like the customer service team were too busy to acknowledge my presence so I might come back another day when they’re not so busy. The 2 stars instead of 1 is because the cake looked good from a distance. 8/12/24: I was warmly greeted as I was looking at the cake I wanted and the representative was very accommodating in providing a positive customer service experience. My cake and cinnamon roll tasted very good. Overall a better visit than a couple of days ago.

I love this location staff friendly and i love that they know me because i'm here way too much. The kolache's here are way better than the kolache factory or Shipleys you think I'm lying try them!

My friend ordered me a birthday cake- one person. They charged him $65. I called immediately and asked for a single later cake. They bumped the price down to $40. The manager could barely communicate on the phone. She couldn’t find my cake. Then, she couldn’t confirm the refund…She literally yelled at me on the phone when I asked her to slow down and enunciate because I could not understand her. She continued the rudeness when I picked up the cake. I noticed a single layer cake for $25 in the case in the bakery. Clearly, we were over sold. Ripped off. My friend clearly stated he was ordering a cake for one person. The cake looked pretty, but tasted just like a grocery store sugary sweet cake. Take your business elsewhere! A bakery should literally be a warm and inviting place where people feel welcome.

They make a tasty no sugar added cheese cake and we picked a slice up today. My wife has great willpower and usually takes one bite, which means I don't have to share much of it. Yes, it's that good. They make great coffee drinks. We imbibed in a couple of the these and a pound of dark roast Costa Rican coffee beans. I hope they start making a few keto goodies. Stopped in for a slice of no sugar added cheese cake and remembered they make a pretty good coffee drink. My wife got an iced mocha coffee, a cup full of gingerbread button cookies, and a bag of whole bean medium dark roast for me. I went with a hot cappuccino with 2 splendas and a full of sugar cookie that looked too good to pass up.

We went here because they are next to Burger Bodega. The shop is really nice and the food looks amazing. However, I got the red velvet cupcake, and it tasted no different than a box of cake mix in terms of texture and fluffiness. Maybe the vanilla would have been better. Although the price is fair considering the sheer size of the cupcake and the craftsmanship. I will try them again, so maybe I will be able to update this review.

I have been at this location multiple times, and it's always been delicious. But I made a mistake by ordering a large cake. The person who took my order incorrectly didn't listen to what I wanted at all. I didn't have a choice but to take the cake, so I did, and no one liked the cake it was dry and didn't taste good. I will never buy anything from here again.

I purchased a Too Good To Go surprise box from this bakery, expecting a good deal as advertised. They claimed the value would be $21, but for $6.99, I only received one bag of dinner rolls and two cookies. Based on their regular pricing, the total value didn’t come close to what was promised. It felt more like a way to offload leftover food rather than offering a true surprise deal. The food itself was just okay. I’ve tried Too Good To Go from other places and always received much better value. This experience was disappointing and felt misleading. To make matters worse, the staff didn’t seem friendly or welcoming, and it was clear they weren’t interested in helping customers. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend buying a Too Good To Go box from this bakery. Save your time and money by going elsewhere!

I ordered an entire Italian cream cake as a birthday cake for my husband and it did not disappoint! I had my wedding cake made here in 1984 and haven’t been back for years and I was thrilled to see it was still in business. The cake was moist, layered and perfection. I grabbed a couple of coconut macaroons and lemon cookies as well and they were all delicious. Definitely gourmet. Good place to grab a coffee and a French pastry for breakfast. Cute tables and chairs are available to eat at inside. I will continue to recommend and come back again and again

Found this place when searching for fresh baguettes. Their baguette is the best in the city - perfect crust, explodes with texture and so soft and fresh inside. Pair with Red Beans & Rice , fantastic experience! Plus the sweets are crazy good - never had a better coconut macaroon - ever!!

Cakes were fabulous. They were for the Baby Shower for my first grandchild (granddaughter). The guests loved them. French Gourmet Bakery is outstanding in every respect.

This is a beautiful place to grab some baked goods. I will preface with I had a sandwich. The baguette was a great texture and flavor. The sandwich overall was basic, but fresh and on great bread. Everything looked incredible in the cases though. I will have to come back and try some of the other items to get that 5th star. I will say the cookie was excellent though! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful which adds to the experience. Plenty of parking too!

Went today to check out what's on the cake menu. The staff definitely knows their product. They helped me decide on the Strawberry Daubache 1/4 sheet cake. Prices are very good for a bakery/cafe in River Oaks 👌

I come here almost every weekend. This is hands down my favorite bakery in Houston. I recommend it to as many people as I can. I normally come for the cookies, but lately I’ve been trying more things. Trust me, everything here is PHENOMENAL! I read some of the other reviews & saw some people leaving negative comments about the service. Every interaction I have had with the workers (and owner) has been great. The owner is funny, sweet, & quite frankly a genius. How she came up with such beautiful recipes is mind blowing!! Thanks for always providing amazing sweets & even better service. 🫶🏽 *side note I’m currently eating a unicorn bait in bed lol*

The fudgiest brownie I have ever had. Best Bakery I’ve reviewed so far. The depth and ingenuity of their flavors is one of a kind. The staff is patient and conscientious of dietary restrictions. The cookies are chewy and slightly crisp. I had the gooey butter cookie, the party brownie, and a coffee toffee chcolate chip. All were divine.

We've been coming to Fluff for over 10 years, starting when they were in the previous location. Everything we've ever had there has been incredible, but the couch potato cookie is by far the best cookie I've ever eaten in my life. It has the perfect amount of chewiness and the textures and flavors are just AMAZING! We live around 45 minutes away, but we will go out of our way to stop in for cookies. The unicorn bait and bacon fat ginger snap are other favorites, but you can't go wrong with any of the options. The owner is delightful, and every staff member is friendly and helpful.

When I go somewhere to get a sweet treat it’s because I want a little extra joy in my day. Today was my second time at Fluff Bake Bar and most likely my last. Both times I visited I was greeted with cold stares and an uninviting atmosphere. The treats are okay but nothing to write home about, basic flavors & bland cookies. As a customer I want to feel welcomed and respected where I spend my money, but here I felt rushed and unappreciated.

They might have good dessert but it’s perhaps the most uninviting dessert shop I have ever been to. The owner of this place comes accross very cold and aloof. I feel like an inconveneince as soon as I walk in, all the 3 times I have been to this place. One time could be attributed to having a bad day which is fine, but 3/3 times seems like a cultural workplace issue. Sticking to Red Dessert Dive from now on.

Fluff is our favorite bakery in Houston! Everything on their menu from the baked goods to the homemade ice cream to the Saturday morning breakfast specials are so yummy and keeps us coming back for more! The owner and her staff are friendly and welcoming. The owner also goes above and beyond to contribute to the community which is a big plus for this local gem!

Great place for coffee and cookies. Bourbon pecan pie on chocolate was delicious. You can sit and enjoy. The owner was there and she's a very nice person. We had the recommendation from Eat like a local TV show and worth it to come. Recommended

I was in heaven when I went here. There are so many great things to eat here. I could not decide what I wanted. I really wanted one of everything. Out of what i bought, the favorite thing I ate was the croissant with cream cheese in it. Go here, you will not be disappointed.

Disappointed. I ordered a Hello Kitty heart-shaped cake a week in advance for my daughter’s birthday. During the ordering process, I was told the cake would cost extra due to the heart shape, which I agreed to. We discussed the size, shape, and design in detail. However, when I arrived to pick it up on the day of the party, I was extremely disappointed to find that the cake did not resemble a heart at all. I was shocked that they would present the cake as ‘acceptable’ in that condition. When I raised my concern, I was told the shape couldn’t be clearly defined because it was a smaller 10” cake. If that was the case, it should have been clearly communicated at the time of ordering. not at pickup when it’s too late to make other arrangements. I had also asked for “Happy Birthday” to be written on top with a small Hello Kitty image at the bottom. Instead, they said the text didn’t fit on the top and had to place it around the base, which wasn’t what I envisioned. What frustrated me most was that I paid extra for a heart shape and didn’t receive it. They offered to redo the borders in an hour, but I was already on a tight schedule and far from the party and didn’t have time to wait. I asked for a discount and was only offered $15 off. Unfortunately, I had no choice but to accept it and move on sadly, my daughter was left to take birthday pictures with a deformed/undefined cake. The only saving grace was that the cake and frosting did taste good, but overall, I was very unhappy with the service and how the situation was handled. For future customers, I would advise clear communication and setting realistic expectations, especially when you’re charging extra for a specific custom shape.

Tamales have a Tex-Mex flavor, Not Mexican. 😑 No salsa is inside the tamal and has too much cumin and salt flavor. Price $7.49 for a half dozen. I purchased chicken & pork 🥴 🥐 Sweet bread is good 👍

As a bakery, El Bolillo is unmatched. Its cakes, fresh breads, and unique churros are guaranteed to satisfy with every product you try. Always fresh and delicious. Highly recommended!

This place was packed! That's always a good sign. There weren't any gluten-free options for me, but I bought some fresh out of the oven marranitos, conchas, and other sweet breads. It smelled so good!

We finally gave Dessert Gallery a try and ordered two slices of cake: lemon blueberry and red velvet. Unfortunately, neither really impressed us. The flavors were just okay — not bad, but nothing memorable either. We've definitely had better elsewhere. We were also expecting a more inviting atmosphere. The interior felt underwhelming and lacked the charm or elegance we thought it might have. Overall, it didn’t quite live up to the hype. It was an okay visit, but not one we’re in a hurry to repeat.

The cake was mid, and cookies were nothing special 😭 I don’t understand the hype. I ordered the strawberry crunch cake there was nothing crunchy about it, and it kind of had fridge taste to the icing, and extremely sweet. The cake balls were good, but how can you possibly mess those up? Not worth the $$ we spent $22 on 2 cookies, cake ball and a cake. We only got a free cookie because they told us that snickerdoodle sold out I guess they had 1 left over and still put it in with our order, thank you for that. Unfortunately, it wasn’t anything special that will make me want to come here again! I’d rather order from Tiff Treats and receive fresh warm cookies, they never disappoint.

I was really excited to try this place but was sadly disappointed after. The billionaire brownie was not as described in my opinion. The brownie had hardly any pecans, no gold flakes, and had this unpleasant ganache/jelly on top. The pecan cake was a bit dry and tasted like maple syrup. The strawberry cup cake was a little dry, had good flavor, but was very sweet. My boyfriend liked the banana pudding and said the oatmeal cookie was ok. The price we paid for everything was not worth it!

Place is great for people looking for vegan and gluten free desserts. Plenty of options. Their brownies are one of my favorite. Staff are really friendly. Wish they open a location in Katy too.

I'd taken someone out for their birthday, and we went here for dessert. We both love cheesecake, and this place came up with in a search of "cheesecake near me." We both had a slice of New York style cheesecake with strawberry topping, and it was truly outstanding! The slice was a 'proper size', the texture was as perfect as I've had, and the flavor what spot-on. Everything a slice of cheesecake should be. I will certainly be back!

Visited tonight on our weekend getaway from Round Rock, TX. A wonderful stop for your sweet tooth, especially late night!! Lots of folks, but service was quick and staff were friendly. I had a lemon bar and my son got the Rocky Road Sheet Cake! We each shared a bite and both were delicious! Would highly recommend!

Magnol is recommend on many posts, and Mademoiselle Louise is closed two days in a week, so I decided to give it a try. Croissants are good, I prefer a thicker and crunchier outer later. But very close to being authentic. You can see pastry chefs working hard through the glass window. Most people get a lot of breads and croissants to go There are small tables outside but it is just too hot and uncomfortable to sit outside.

I have been coming to this little French bakery for a while now. My normal practice is I visit the place many times before I post a review about it. So, after I found out about this place from social media, ranking this place high on their croissants, I have decided to visit. Without making it a long review since it has only 2 stars, here are the highlights: Food = 3 stars, above average, freshly made. Service = 1 star, they have succeeded in achieving Parisian attitudes. Some are nice, many are dead inside, some cannot be bothered. Asked her about why no prices posted anywhere near any products. She appeared annoyed, you just have to ask for the price (thats probably 30+ diff products.) Expect long wait in the morning. The worker's attitudes reflex management. Atmosphere: small charming design, but located in a less than average area. Recommendation: Don't go out of your way to try, you are not missing much. Many good bakeries are popping up in Houston in the last 5 years.

This place is incredible with their selection of DECADENT desserts, flavored Coffees, Expressos, Teas pastries, and more ! We got a couple pastries and a ham & grilled cheese ! It was around $45 for my grill cheese with ham & a couple pastries. So in my humble opinion - They are also waaaaaay overpriced ! We've been a few times and it seems at times. I have been charged for items that were put into my bag that I didn't even order, so it has happened twice !!! It was all wonderful tasting! No doubt, it IS absolutely TOP NOTCH EXQUISITE !! but I certainly didn't order all of it...Buyer beware ! check your order before ya leave! It is without doubt WONDERFUL TASTING expensive food !!!

Finally tried Magnol. Worth every penny. I didn't try any of the breads yet, I will have to come back. I got linzer tarts, lemon raspberry roll, opera cake and croissants. Every single one of them absolutely delicious and possibly some of the best croissants in town. Highly recommend trying each of them and one croissant is just not enough.

Always love visiting! Everything is fresh and delicious. The line was out the door when we arrived but the staff was very efficient.

This place is really good. We got the Paris brest, the pistachio eclair, the canele, the chocolate almond croissant, the passionfruit cheesecake, and the Mille-feuille. Everything was good but the eclair, Mille-feuille, and croissant is what we’d get again. We wanted a chocolate cookie but there was a delay between when I got there and when the next batch would be ready. The only gripe I had was there wasn’t a label on all of the items offered so I was picking blind a bit Came back to try the coffee eclair and the passionfruit mango eclair, both of which were good. The lemon meringue tart was even better The pear caramel danish was just fine. The banana Nutella danish was great. The chocolate chip cookie is fine The cinnamon roll is really good - light but flavorful. The raspberry vanilla cruffin is decent but I wouldn’t get again. The strawberry almond chocolate croissant wasn’t great for me - too much going on for flavor. I’d opt for strawberry almond next time The blueberry financier was ok and the chocolate hazelnut croissant wasn’t great

This is such a cozy spot. An employee from Vuori recommended I visit because I did not plan on going to Starbucks for something to drink, I’m so grateful for her recommendation as well as the amazing lavender matcha on recommendation from one of the baristas that worked there. The staff seems very friendly and the location was a bit difficult to find with the trees covering signage in the front, but I’d say that adds to the effect this spot would be great on a sunny day in spring. I tried three different cookies, white chocolate macadamia, which was really good. The chocolate chip I’d say it was all right, but the walnut pecan one was absolutely my favorite. There were so many different options. It was hard to choose so I definitely had to stick with a safe choice and get cookies. But overall, this would be a great place to study at.

Whether you're looking for a quick coffee and pastry or a more substantial meal, Badolina delivers. It's quickly become one of my favorite spots in Houston!

Wow! Now that was a great cup of coffee! The baked goods looked incredible, and you can tell it’s a local favorite because it fills up fast by 11 a.m. I’d definitely recommend going earlier if you’re craving some peace and serenity. So worth it; definitely a must-try spot!

Favorite bakery and they have my favorite cardamom buns which are so difficult to find in Texas, tasted just like the ones from Europe! Their coffee is good too and I tried a pistachio croissant which had real pistachio filling. Also everything is vegetarian which is a plus! Very aesthetic and cute patio

Small cozy cafe with a few indoor and outdoor seating. They have many delicious sweets at a decent price. Their almond raspberry and pistachio croissants are the best. The only downside is they run out fast throughout the day. Happy hour starts 1 hour before closing so you can get most goods for half off.

The place looks nice, the food looks so beautiful but some of them looked better than they tasted. The flatbread we got was pretty good as were the fries, the kids loved them. The sweets that we got were kinda bland. I personally liked the almond croissant and coconut macaroon. Parking is limited but we were able to get a spot fairly fast. Tables inside were small and the chairs uncomfortable, but if you’re just sitting down for a quick meal they’re fine. I’d expect them to be bad for people who were planning on staying and working from here.

When I asked about the white chocolate mocha, she curtly replied, “This isn’t Starbucks.” The audacity! I politely explained that I was a first-time guest—and also a local food guide—and her demeanor shifted immediately. Thankfully, a more experienced staff member stepped in and took over our order. She was incredibly attentive, making sure our coffee was not only delicious but beautifully presented. She even went the extra mile to ensure our pastry was freshly made and photo-ready. To be completely honest, the coffee and pastry were outstanding—worth every sip and bite. My only recommendation for the management team would be to reinforce the importance of customer service. First impressions matter, and you never know who’s walking through the door or what their reason for visiting might be. That said, this spot is absolutely worth a visit. I’ll be back!

Would recommend and love to come again! I came for breakfast at around 9:30 during a weekend - not crowded. The shakshuka crossiant is a special dish: a bowl-shaped crossiant, with a running egg and tomato-based sause inside. Very tasty even for me who is not a fan of tomato-flavored dishes. It's like a pasta but with crossiant instead. The bottom of the crossiant won't be crispy because of the gravy inside, but it still tastes well with its buttery flavor. Kouign Amann is crispy and reasonable in sweetness. Matcha latte is great - there is a bit of sweetness instead of a strongly bitter matcha flavor, but the sweetness is not strong and just right.

Whenever we wanna relax and hangout and have some dessert and coffee, here is one of our first options. Lavender, croissant, and matcha desserts are our favorites plus cappuccino.

This was by far the most delicious and beautiful cake ever!!! The cake itself was moist and delicious, not too overly sweet. The icing was absolutely to die for!! My boyfriend got me this cake from them for my birthday, and everybody was raving about it! We added some of our own decorations ontop of it, but it turned out absolutely beautiful! Will definitely be using them for other celebrations in the future :)

This place is really cute, but the cupcakes were not good for me; icing was too sweet and the cake was pretty normal. I paid $12.50 for four very average cupcakes and I wasn’t crazy about them.

I just need to say THIS PLACE IS AWESOME. My wife has been getting her birthday cakes here for over 50 years. Our son's for 28 years and our daughters for 17 years. They also have a great selection of other goodies that we get as well.

This place is fantastic. I know my family has been using this Bakery since the 1960's and onward. Everything here is freshly prepared, using old family recipes and it is well priced. You gotta pay attention on your way there or you will pass right by it. I like the white cake, the chocolate is good too but the white cake just has a perfect taste to it. If I ever get married, my wedding cake HAS to come from here. I carry on the family tradition by getting birthday cakes and holiday treats from here. Stop in and get a treat, you'll be glad you did!

After a customer of ours gave us a pack of gingerbread cookies as a thank you gift for the work we had done at her house I instantly fell in love with the cookies. With that being said that is now a favorite bakery of mine to any time I am in the area I have to stop for the cookies. They simply are the best gingerbread cookies I have had in my life and will continue to go there as long as they are in business

Kinda pricey but so good. The orange rolls go perfectly with a cuppa coffee and gingerbread men are wonderful.

Great location to spend time with friends and family and enjoy some summer rays 🥵 They offer indoor and outdoor seating, so there’s ample options. When I visited I tried the tiger uppercut (Thai tea + espresso) and the Chinese sausage taco. I wasn’t super impressed with the uppercut, as it was sweet but watered down. Playing around with the ratio and strength of both the tea and espresso might help. As for the taco, I can’t say enough about it! It was the perfect blend of sweet, savory, and spicy flavors. I’ll definitely get that again next time, and experiment more with different coffee options.

Delicious pastries, especially the pistachio baklava croissant and banana bread mochi. My complaints are that the prices are high and the mochi sticks to the wrapper. Maybe no wrapper? While the prices are high, everything I had tasted good. The lamination isn’t spectacular but it’s decent. Everything is super flavorful. Unlike most pastry places where you get crispy dough and no flavor, i felt like I got good flavor in the first bite of everything. I also had a Make Ya Halo and the coconut flavor was lacking. If anything, the oat milk and coffee took over. Customer service was excellent, so I’d go back. It’s hard to find good food AND good customer service. Food was great! Had a baklava cheesecake dish and a Dr Pepper iced coffee. My wife had the London fog croissant, my friend had the Ube snickerdoodle. Everything tasted amazing, especially the baklava cheesecake

The location was kind of off when you’re driving through but once you’re there it’s pretty good and secluded. They do have back patio seating which was a good touch. The pastries were amazing, the pistachio baklava was a great dessert I just loved the creation. Overall I would definitely recommend anyone to give this place a try you will not be disappointed. Service was excellent.

Beef pho kolache - 8/10 : beef could be more flavorful and “pho” like

Their early morning opening time is super convenient! The kolache are absolutely fantastic and worth trying out! They savory ones are very good and the dessert ones were a little less sweet than what I'm used to for pastries but I still enjoyed them. The silent hero on the menu might be the pecan sand tarts though. Definitely try those if you visit.

Sausage and cheese kolaches(klobaniskys)were ok, sausage was good quality but the bread were blown out on the bottom, had a giant hole. Had the fruit turnovers and they were ok too. 16$ for 4 items, wasn’t worth they hype for me.

Visited for the first time on Friday 8/29/25 @7:30am. We ordered a couple croissants, a kolache and a few other items along with some coffee. The pastries were excellent. The coffee was terrible. The lady making the drinks that day seemed like she didn't want to be there and you could tell by the drinks she was making because the drinks we received were trash. If you're visiting, stick to the pastries because that's what this place is known for. As for the coffee, you can get better coffee across the street at McDonald's. Anyhow, I'll definitely be back for the food.

The staff, food, coffee are all amazon here! Be prepared to stand in line on a busy day, but it's worth it. If it's packed, wait it out. These are the best dang kolaches in the city. The parking lot can be tough on weekend but it's with it if you can find a good spot or street parking. I don't recommend parking at the nearby hotel, but street parking is free.

I had the beef fajita and sausage and cheese kolache. Literally the best kolache I’ve ever had. The beef fajita was fave be sure to give that one a try for sure! Parking was tough as the place is pretty busy and there are limited spaces. I also ordered an iced Carmel latte which was pretty good. The Staff was friendly 12/27 We had the cherry danish and apple turnover. I enjoy them both.

I had an impeccable breakfast experience at The Original Kolache Shoppe. The moment I walked in, the inviting aroma of freshly baked pastries enveloped me. Their kolaches are a perfect blend of soft, fluffy dough and flavorful fillings. I tried the classic sausage and cheese, as well as the sweet cream cheese kolache – both were exceptional. The staff was friendly and efficient, adding to the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The coffee was rich and paired perfectly with the pastries. Our experience with Bavarian Cakery was somewhat disappointing. We ordered one large vanilla, strawberry-filling sheet cake (not pictured), a small gluten-free lambeth cake, and a cookie cake groom's cake. The sheet cake was perfect; we and our guests loved the texture and flavor. The cookie cake, as well, was a big hit, and we had no leftovers. Unfortunately, the gluten-free was disappointing compared to what we tried in the tasting. It was much denser and had a strong flavor. On top of this, the lettering we agreed on wasn't on top. We had no cake topper, so this left it feeling unfinished and was honestly a big disappointment on the day. I don't think I would recommend them to other couples for this reason.

And throughout the planning process, they gave advice and support that was greatly appreciated. You could tell they love what they do. As someone who loves cake but doesn't love OVERLY sweet icing, I was so happy that Bavarian Cakery accommodated! And we got so many compliments on the geode cake and mushroom cupcakes. The only thing that was inconvenient (but well communicated) was that we had to drop off the rentals ourselves. As out-of-towners that was a logistic for us to figure out. But it's a minor thing compared to the whole experience. Thanks Bavarian Cakery!

Wow. I am still dreaming about our wedding cake. It was not only beautiful but quite literally the best wedding cake I’ve ever had. Tara has great communication, and great service. We also decided to get one of her add ons for a grazing table. It was a hit at our wedding. We keep getting comments about how good the cake and grazing table were. I would recommend Tara for your wedding needs. Our cake looked and tasted absolutely amazing thanks to her.

THE BEST CAKE EVER! Tara and her team did an incredible job at being organized, professional, and delivering a beautiful wedding & grooms cake. However, it could have been a plain sheet cake and I would still be raving about it because it was absolutely delicious. Our wedding cake in late March of 2025 (for ~150 people) was almost too pretty to eat! It really looked marvelous and they did a great job. During the tasting we went over TONS of ideas, which was overwhelming at first. But Nadine walked us through each part of the process and gave pointers of her own. We can't wait to have the top of our cake at our 1 year anniversary!

The cake is absolutely delicious! All of our wedding guests couldn’t stop talking about how it was the best tasting cake they’ve ever had and I couldn’t agree more. We saved the top of the cake to eat it for our one year anniversary and once we tawed the cake out, it was just as good and fresh as it was on the wedding night! I can’t recommend them enough! Will definitely be purchasing from them again for special occasions in the future!

Hired for my wedding. A three tier cake for 100 people. Base layer (biggest layer) was fake as discussed. Provided all the inspiration pictures and had a long in-person consultation and cake tasting. Everything was disclosed and discussed. I was assured of what I’ll be getting. I specifically asked about the cake topper and the owner herself confirmed it is possible and it will be done. I wanted a 3-D bird on top. We discussed the shade of gold and it was not even close to the shade I picked. My only issue despite the let downs was the price which was a lot more than any other business for what I asked. I could have gotten a better execution maybe even without the hideous cake topper for a much lesser price. Taste was good, customer service is excellent. But over $1600 usd + rental for a two tier cake and a fake layer is too much

This place offers a lot of options. Everything in the display looked delicious. I stop in for a sweet treat. The coco munchies cookies is must try. Customer service was great, friendly and helpful.

Ordered Garlic Chipotle Shrimp Bowl, They sent "baby Portions" and if you weigh it, I am sure it wasnt even half or 1/3 pound. The rice and black beans was somewhat uncooked, the shrimps were below average and this for $14. Do yourself a favor but not going here. Order was placed through Relish/EZ Cater

I was really let down by my recent visit. The basil soup was incredibly bland and watery—definitely lacking any depth of flavor. The croutons were so soggy they were practically disintegrating. The chicken salad sandwich didn’t fare any better; the texture and taste were both off, making it unpleasant to eat. To top it off, the crème brûlée tasted like it had been sitting out for a while—far from fresh. The only redeeming part of the experience was the customer service, which was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the food didn’t come close to meeting expectations.

Picked up a slice of one of their best cakes the white chocolate raspberry and also a “divorce cookie” or something called that- both were not good. I would give it a 3/10 taste. Dry and bland and truly lacked flavor. Tasted like a Kroger cake. I was really hoping they would taste as good as the pictures looked online and in social media. This was a pass for me and would not come back. Also, for one slice of cake and one cookie it cost about $15. At most I should have paid $6.50. Will not be coming back.

Excellent food and bakery. Matzo ball soup was lemony and the matzo ball was a bit smushy. But the chicken salad sandwich was made on freshly baked bread and house, and head Citrus mixed into it which gave it a nice tank. The salad had almonds, hearts of palm, spring mix, Barry's, and tomatoes. Very good. Soups are exceptionally good at this place but not if you're trying to watch your diet as they can be quite Rich. Presentation was wonderful. See the pictures! Plus it is quiet.

Service was slow. Food was meh. Ordered the breakfast tacos, the strawberries and cream pancakes from the specials menu, and a dish from the specials menu that I don't recall the name and was not expecting when it arrived at the table. The tacos were okay. The pancakes were very dry and dense and did not come with enough syrup. The egg dish smothered in green sauce was bland and had way too much sauce. All of the dishes were overpriced for the lack of quality. We will not be returning. There are far too many good restaurants in Houston.

First was great and dessert really hit the spot. The coffee was delicious, the turtle coffee and the regular drip coffee. I ordered the chicken fajita bowl and it was awesome. A very generous portion and it tasted like my own mother made it. We also had some cookies and they were great. Had no issues with the service. You place your order up front and they bring you your food.

Not only are the women who work here super talented, their customers service is off the charts! I submitted a fully custom Cake inquiry via their link online. They were very quick to respond to my request (under 12 hours) and throughout every step of the process, everyone I talked to was incredibly kind and easy to work with. They made sure that they understood exactly what I wanted from the get-go so that they could provide the best experience for me. The cake turned out better than I could’ve imagined, and it was also delicious! Not to mention, the price I paid was so reasonable, especially compared to other quotes I got around the area. Just had the sweetest morning at La Sicilia Bakery & Cafe! The coffee was rich, the pastries were perfection, and the staff was absolutely amazing—so kind and welcoming. The whole place had such a cozy vibe. Definitely a new favorite—can’t wait to come back!

Bug in my pastry. This was only my second visit here. I really enjoyed the food the first time, but on this visit I found a bug in my pastry. I live over an hour away and because this finding left me uneasy I don’t think I’ll be making the drive again. Wish I would have noticed this sooner before leaving.

Was picking up a delivery here yesterday and you walk in and it smells amazing. The employees were very nice and engaging, and the selection all looked so enticing. I got a croissant the size of my hand and the baker said she makes turkey sandwiches with them and so that's what I did. It was delicious! The buttery croissant warmed up was amazing! Can't wait to try more of their stuff!

This was the next establishment in our hunt to find the best Japanese Cheesecake in town. While it didn’t make the list for that category. The Mango cake was the star of the show today! It was so fluffy, with the perfect hint of sweetness, lite, and enjoyed by everyone. It didn’t last. Hehe While we had a little bit of a language barrier communicating. But we were able to get everything we were after without to much difficulty. Can’t wait to return to try more of their treats. Note: The establishment address pulls up being located in the rear of the business park. This is false, its located on the front, off to the left corner and easily missed. This bakery has really good birthday cakes and other pastries, such as bread, cookies, pies, and cakes. This is the only place where I want to buy birthday cakes, because their birthday cakes taste so delicious and are just perfect. They have many choices of birthday cake styles and sizes. The service is alright. The staff lacks interpersonal communication skills, such as greeting customers, and they don't seem that friendly to customers. If you want a delicious pastry or birthday cake, then I would highly recommend this bakery for you.

The mango birthday cake is so delicious, fantastic looking and fresh with reasonable price. But never order from a man, his attitude is so bad and rude. The lady is so nice.

My favorite item at this bakery are their egg tarts. It’s a smooth custard with a cookie like crust. Perfectly balanced and even better when warmed up. I came in on a weekday around 10am and the man working was stocking on his own. Though he was busy, he took his time to help me decide on what to get. The bakery items were still fresh on the rack! This place has always been my go to, definitely support this bakery.

Stumbled onto this place while deciding what to eat at the Don Huang Plaza. Cute mom and pop small bakery that's neatly organized and clean. We got a few savory bread buns and weren't disappointed. The BBQ bread had way more meat filling than other places. Bread is mildly sweet like Hawaiian bread even with savory fillings. The cakes look amazing. Will be back for the taiyaki.

My favorite bakery in Chinatown! They have this spongy cake that is soooo good. Their egg tarts and pineapple cakes are also super good!

That urge to checkout coffee shops once you landed in the new city! This is one of the top rated cafe for ambiance and pastries. It didn’t disappoint me one bit. There are enough tables inside and outside the cafe & the ambiance is great, clean with a lot of natural light coming in that beautiful Saturday morning! Pastries looked great & tempting. I ended up getting an almond croissant and Mocha latte. Loved every bit of it. Croissants were fresh & flaky :-)

This cake shop is amazing! I placed an order just one day in advance, and they had the cake ready the next day — super efficient. There was a small miscommunication where they initially quoted $45, but the final cake was actually an 8-serving cake worth $60. They still only charged me $45, which shows how honest and customer-focused they are. The cake was not only beautiful but also delicious. I’ll definitely come back again!

This is in my top 3 french patisseries here in Houston. Perfect for lunches on-the-go or a quick coffee date! The croissants are light and flakey with tender insides. The flavors in the quiche are simple, yet fabulous. Do not skip the canele, it’s a real treat for the palate.

I wanted to love everything about this cute little place but I have mixed feelings. The device was excellent and very friendly. The setting was perfect for enjoying a coffee and snack with a friend or have some quiet time alone. The breads and pastry are so tasty! Where they lost me was the quiche I tried today. I got the veggie one and it had what seemed to be a frozen mixed veg in it. I have never wanted corn, carrots and garbanzo beans in my quiche. There were also an assortment or green beans and peas and a whole bunch of miscellaneous veg, the flavor was weird. I had to pick most of it out and eat what was left, and I am not picky.

It’s located in the heart of Houston downtown area on a weekend morning we were able to grab a spot pretty quickly. It does have some tables pretty picturesque seating and decor. The service is amazing the server was attentive and very friendly. Food was definitely a big disappointment the canelle was undercooked inside for $3 tag you don’t want lump of dough inside. The quiches were okay not soo good. The kouign Amann had the taste but shape was kind of awkward. The coffee was very good something on a brighter side.

Stopped in the other day and grabbed a bunch of sweet treats! I was fortunate to meet the owner and she was so warm and welcoming! She explained all the various treats and offerings. The layout is pretty straightforward so you shouldn’t get confused. She also has merch and vinyls ☺️☺️ Ok but the tests. I ordered two cupcakes, 3 cookies (2 cookies in a pack) and a brookie. Everything was amazingly fresh and flavorful. Honestly none of it was overly sweet either. You won’t go wrong with anything you decide to choose!!! 10 out of 10 I recommend

These are some of the best cupcakes I have ever had. Ella was very helpful, generous and wonderful from start to finish. Had questions about pricing, quantity and packaging for my mother’s birthday. My sister went to pick up the order for me and got a little treat in return. Now the taste of these cupcakes including the vegan ones…WOWOWOW super good, moist, flavorful and just overall 10/10! Cannot wait to be back.

We stumbled upon this little gem while working. We tried the blueberry- a very good cupcake with layers of graham cracker crust and cheesecake. In my opinion the cupcake doesn’t even need the cheesecake because the blueberry top and icing are straight heaven. The key-lime cookie was amazing. Crunchy outside thick chewy inside. The pistachio flavor makes this cookie sing. My favorite, however, was the vegan banana walnut chocolate chip cupcake. This was SO good. It takes the flavor of banana bread to the next level! I can’t wait to try some more!

We came to Houston for our wedding anniversary so while we were out and about I looked up vegan bakeries and this was the first place that I was drawn to. When we got there we were welcomed so warmly and felt like we’ve known the owner forever! She showed us around and told me exactly how she made her vegan goodies. I wanted to get a donut cake for a birthday party. I came strolling into Ms. Myrtle’s right under 3 day minimum cut off. The super amazing Kendra looked at me and let me know I’m lucky I came in. She took mercy on me and let me order the cake. Even gave me a Juneteenth discount. Fast forward a few days later, I had a beautiful donut cake. The birthday girl and guests loved it! I’m such a fan of wonderful customer service. Even a bigger fan of wonderful customer service with delicious cake to back it up!

My husband had a friend recommend Ms. Myrtle's Billionaire Pound cake. We found out they were right! It's wonderful! But the Heavenly Butter and Butter Cream is divine!

My coworker raved about this bakery so I couldn’t wait to taste the desserts. I ordered a banana pudding, peach cobbler, Italian cream and red velvet cake. The banana pudding was good but wasn’t the best, after I was out of cookies there was only pudding left. The red velvet cake was ok, along with the peach cobbler. The best thing I bought was the Italian cream cake even though the cake wasn’t fresh and a little hard. I will try it again and hope for better results the second time around.

This place is fabulous!!!!!!!! So many options at the counter. We went with banana pudding, vanilla cheesecake, banana pudding cheesecake, and peach cobbler for our office. The banana pudding cheesecake was divine! Easy street parking in front. We will definitely be back. I would give 10 stars if we could!

I ordered a cake just like it says 24 hrs notice. I did that on the day of pick up I was told ovens went down that morning but I was given no call. I went down to pick it up and was told they didn’t have it cause the ovens broke and they only have one oven working. Again no one called me. This was a birthday cake for a small birthday party. So I went ahead and grabbed a few small cakes that were already prepared. All I was given was a 15% discount on what I grabbed. I was given a full refund on the cake they didn’t make. But I would have thought they would have given me the 2 smaller 7 dollar cakes for free cause it was their mistake but no just 15% off. I will not ever preorder a cake from here again. The lady was nice about it but I still had to find a cake for the party. Again they knew the oven broke that morning and again no one ever called me to tell me. I had to drive 45 mins to the location just to be told the oven had broken. Mainly for the lack of communication I will not go back. Also the 2 small chocolate cakes were extremely dry.

Absolutely amazing 5 tier birthday cake! Each tier had a different flavour, and the ones I tasted were divine. The coconut-filled tier melted in my mouth so good I went back for thirds! The carrot cake was soft, fluffy, and full of flavour. The design was stunning and a total showstopper when it dropped from the ceiling, the crowd cheered! You made my mum’s 70th unforgettable. Angel, who was my point of contact, was very responsive and kept me in the loop every step of the way. Any request I had regarding my husband's 40th birthday cake was turned into a dream come true. This cake was the talk of the party and will be for years to come!

Gabrielle and Gina made our cake tasting so easy and enjoyable. The store is like nothing I’ve seen before. They can literally make any cake. It seems like nothing is impossible for them! Not only are the cakes stunning, but the flavors are delicious. If you decide to go, I recommend going with an appetite, as they offer you so many options. We immediately booked our cake on our visit. The staff was so welcoming and Gina the owner, truly loves what she does, and you can notice it with every detail she’s incorporated to the cake tasting experience.

I would highly recommend this place! I ordered a cake for my baby shower from this bakery and they executed the vision that I had for my cake very well. The cake was beautiful! The order for the cake was kind of placed at the last minute but they still got it done in a timely manner before my event started. We got so many compliments on the cake not just on the looks but the taste as well. They did a wonderful job and again would recommend. I definitely will be a returning customer.

I asked if he called me to let me know that he said no I did not have enough time very rudely. When I asked for a discount, he said absolutely not if you want I can charge you an extra $15 And redo it right now But I’m running late and he was extremely rude, so I honestly did not want to pay him any more money than what I already paid So the cake is nice, but the owner is extremely rude

Cannot say enough good things about this place! We ordered a cake over the phone for my son's 7th birthday, requesting a shark cake that a 7 year old would find cool and scary. We don't live in Houston and we're sure what we would get, but the reviews were encouraging and the guys were great to deal with. They killed it, making a two-tiered cake that looks just like Jaws coming out of the water. They even threw a severed limb in the shark's mouth, along with lots of other great little touches. We were blown away at the artistry of it. Plus, the cake was delicious (great cake and icing flavor options) and was a total hit with the kids. 10 stars would recommend to everyone!

The cake turned out excellent. It was very delicious and the decorations were beautiful. The edible text was sharp and exactly what I had asked for. I was a little disappointed in the piping on the side of the cake, but understand that it is probably very difficult to have flawless handwriting vertically with frosting, so I'm not going to fault them for it. The flowers on the top were phenomenally detailed and lifelike, especially for just being buttercream frosting. The cake was moist and very delicious. The shop itself is very unassuming, but the employees are super friendly and helpful and creative. The price is not cheap (though, in fairness, I don't buy a lot of custom cakes, so maybe it was in line with other custom cakes), but the quality received definitely fit the price. Thanks Village Bakery for an excellent experience.

I’ve used their services twice so far. And have been pleased. First was a cake for my daughters third birthday. The second for the arrival of our second daughter. We got mini cup cakes made. The cake and cupcakes tasted wonderful and were made fresh. The decorations were amazing! Will be ordering a custom birthday cake again this year. Would highly recommend them.

Received a delicious lemon cake and succulent cupcakes for a baby shower. Just wish we had received the full order- we were missing two dozen customized cookies and cake balls that we had added to our order, and for which we confirmed the pricing and design, two weeks prior to the shower. We had also agreed upon a "naked" cake. The cake we received was not a "naked" cake but still look good. We ended up with enough dessert for all of our guests and what we did order looked and tasted very good, though.

I ordered a smash cake, a birthday cake, and cupcakes for my daughter’s first birthday and everything turned out AMAZING!!! The cakes were absolutely gorgeous and delicious to boot. I had so many guests asking about where the desserts were from. I will definitely be ordering cakes from Buttercup Bakery again!! On top of all that, my husband bought a few cookies when he was picking up the cake and those were incredible too! The peanut butter cookie in particular was fantastic.

I just wanted to say how amazing the cake was for my daughter’s birthday. The team did a phenomenal job and I was so proud to reveal the cake to her and her guests. I got so many compliments and so many people asked where I got it!

I hosted my bachelorette party here, which was a cake decorating class, and had an absolute blast! Kristina was so sweet and an amazing teacher. The chocolate cake was delicious and we were all excited to learn new skills and walk out with beautiful cakes.

The owner was so sweet and welcoming from the minute I walked in the door! You can tell she is very enthusiastic about her new business. Not to mention how AMAZING the baked goods are! Wow! Our entire veterinary hospital staff got to enjoy them today. You can clearly tell they’re homemade. We will definitely be back and are happy to be right down the street!

This is a top quality bakery. The chocolate chip cookies are worthy of an award, and they have just the right amount of salt. They clearly have some excellent experience, you can tell in how everything I’ve had there looked photo-perfect and was made excellently. Super tender crumb, makes it clear they don’t over-mix. The frosting is stellar, and has a very good butter to sugar ratio. I don’t think they cut any corners! My favorite thing was either the aforementioned cookie, a shortbread cookie that Ted Lasso could have baked, or the strawberry vanilla scone. Truly you can’t go wrong here! My only regret is I forgot to take a picture of the chocolate chip cookie!

Been going here since they opened. Hands down the best bakery around! Everything is excellent. Fav’s sea salt focaccia, sea salt choc chip, coconut bar cake, and s’mores brownie! Everyone is super nice. The owners come out often to talk and get to know everyone. Refreshing

I really wanted to like this place, especially since I usually love mussels. Unfortunately, my recent visit was far from enjoyable. To start, even though it was only 5 PM on a Monday and the restaurant was mostly empty, we were seated in a spot with harsh direct sunlight—despite many other open tables available. It was an uncomfortable beginning. We started off fine—the appetizers were good, and the staff was quick to change plates and cutlery. But things went downhill with the main course. We ordered the large portion of green mussels, and they were extremely fishy. Even as someone who tolerates fishiness well, I couldn't eat them. My friend, who is pregnant, was especially sensitive to the strong smell and couldn’t touch it at all. When we told the staff, they seemed annoyed and insisted that “green mussels are supposed to be like that.” We disagreed, and they immediately took the dish away, including our plates, folks, and my friend’s knife. To make matters worse, the service became incredibly inattentive. Our servers were often chatting among themselves or with other guests, ignoring our table for long periods. At one point, after our mussels were taken away, we were left with no plates or cutlery, staring at our cooling duck dish without being able to eat it. When we finally got our next dish, we had to repeatedly ask for plates and forks. It took multiple requests and long waits just to get basic dining tools. The duck—which was really delicious when hot—became unpleasantly fishy and unappetizing once it cooled down. My friend couldn’t eat it, so I finished it, but it really wasn’t enjoyable. It’s a shame because most of the dishes (like the duck and onion soup) were really good, but the inconsistent service, poorly executed seafood, and lack of attention to basic comfort really let us down. We won’t be returning.

Great food and service! Came to try this place after a friend recommended it, and it did not disappoint. The waitress was very friendly, attentive, and left a great impression. The manager was also super nice. Overall, a wonderful experience!

Going back in time. Love this place. We make the trip to the end of the Hwy 45 to simply have dinner at this sparkle ! Very traditional fine dining setting with retro decor. Not a large space , but very well laid out with sufficient room and tables in set for 2 /4/6/8 to sit comfortably on the back wall. Service is always at your call for bread , tap and plate rotation. Heavy silverware, polished glassware and fine china! About the food. Well if driving 4 hours for dinner does not tell you something , then you need to go try it out. If you are closer than me , you have no excuses. My only guideline for a French place is a Foix Gras in any form or shape or execution. Pan fried , cold pate, chopped in a pasta dish. But if it is not part of the menu, I can have a sandwich somewhere else. Dress up , do your manicures and treat yourself to a fine French cuisine. Chef will come out and say hello! Surprisingly for a Frenchman he is a nice garçon! See you at Etoile.

Wonderful service & atmosphere. The lobster bisque is always a hit and this place has some of the best bread & butter in town. However, the sole I got was really oily and was not seasoned. French food tends to be conservative with spices and it’s hard not to wish my plate had a little more flavor. But overall Étoile has always been a nice dining experience and I’ll definitely be back. ❤️

Very nice restaurant with lovely decor and romantic atmosphere. I loved their Lobster bisque and Bouef Bourguignon was very delicious. My wife enjoyed her Chillian seabass. The only complaint was the service. For such a small restaurant, our server was extremely slow all night and we had to wave him down several times just to get our bill so we could pay and leave.

Had a lovely time at this restaurant located in a cute walkable plaza. Several employees were actually French. Great wine selection for both bottles and BTG. We also enjoyed the food and service. The large beef tartare portion is LARGE indeed.

This is my favorite French restaurant in town. Dishes are traditional to French cooking. I started with the moules a la creme. The mussels were clean and didn’t carry that dirty beach smell unlike some restaurants do. I was impressed that they maintained clean fresh mussels. The flesh was plump and moist and the cream sauce delicious. Next time I would ask for bread to dip and finish the sauce. My wife had the duck breast which was done perfectly. I tasted the seared food gras which is always good. Smokey and buttery is how I would describe the taste. I had the $82 sole dovres which is flown in from Dover, England. It was cooked as a some meunière which is a lemon butter sauce. The sauce was on point but I didn’t think there was anything special about the sole. If I tasted it blind I wouldn’t know the difference between the sole or another decent white fish. $82 is too much and I wouldn’t order this again. The panna cotta was tasty with the crunchy bits and berries. I jut wished there was more of the cream. Overall it was a good experience and I’d return here to try something new.

Amazing store with lots to find, they have very wast selection especially the international collection. This pst week they had the German passport event running and it was amazing. They also have a very busy and very fresh sandwich corner and all the sandwiches on the menu are just amazing.

Big thanks to Elham at Central Market for helping me find the chicken salad today — the section had been reorganized, and she was so sweet, helpful, and kind the entire time! I also want to shout out Miriam , Corina, and Valeria at checkout, who was just as lovely and made the whole experience even better. I had a meeting to get to and was hoping to be in and out quickly — and thanks to their help, I was out in under 7 minutes. They were positive, attentive, and made me feel genuinely cared for. It didn’t feel like I was bothering them at all — just great customer service from start to finish. This might’ve been my first visit to this location (hard to keep track with how many Central Markets I’ve been to!), but it’s definitely the one I’ll return to. The energy, care, and support were unmatched. Amazing team — keep up the great work!

**Central Market Cafe** I didn’t grocery shop, only used the CAFE. It’s a maze, kind of reminds me of IKEA. The coffee was amazing, ordering was quick and easy. I ordered an iced vanilla latte. Staff were polite and baked goods smelled delicious.

Clean, well organized, variety of goods to choose from, good prices, exclusive in Texas, can’t think of something more special than this! Makes my grocery run fun than ever! They even have fresh truffle and huge collection of mushrooms by which I’m impressed.

Central Market is so much more than a gourmet grocery store. It is a community builder! We attended the Houston Cooking School upstairs for a Mexican Dinner featuring culinary professional, author, and entrepreneur Sylvia Casares. What a inspiration! If you have an opportunity, go by and fill your soul as well as your tummy.

Today we bought salads at the salad bar, and the experience was terrible. The staff was very unprofessional — one of them even put his hand in the sauce! They also gave me only half portions and were extremely rude when I asked about it. Very disappointing and unhygienic service. We will not be coming back!

I wanted to share my incredibly positive experience at the Central Market in Houston. I'm a daily customer, and the quality of both the food and the service is consistently exceptional. The food at the chef station is always fresh and tastes fantastic. Even with a constantly busy line, the team works incredibly hard and maintains a pleasant and cheerful attitude. I especially want to commend Aaliyah, who works at the chef station. She is consistently kind, helpful, and never seems bothered by my many questions. Her dedication and positive demeanor truly stand out and make every visit a pleasure. I always make sure to tip the team because they genuinely deserve it for their hard work and excellent service.

We went for an early Mother's Day celebration. Our waitress Ashley did a great job; unfortunately, the food was not what we remembered from our first brunch visit a few years ago. Each plate was saturated with grease, which took away from the depth of flavor. Ashley brought us a new bowl of shrimp and grits, which we appreciated, but food missed the mark.

What a wonderful restaurant! Came here to enjoy Cajun style cooking and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere is amazing and very romantic. When you leave the parking garage there is a beautiful oak tree at the front of the restaurant. Don't forget your parking validation if you self park. We had an amazing meal with delicious flavors. Cornbread - must do! It's delicious and more like a dessert. Big enough to take some home. Tuna tartare - wouldn't order again. Felt like it was more watermelon than tuna. Not worth it Chicken liver mousse - this was delicious! The flavor was rich with a delicious jam on top. The bread that came with it was also yummy. Gumbo - delicious 👏 Bistro filet - for a non steakhouse, the quality was surprisingly awesome. The flavor of the sauce and mushrooms was amazing. Potatoes were great. It's a gem in the city and I highly suggest checking it out for a romantic date.

Our experience here was top notch from the beginning to the end. The greeting from valet to our waitress was amazing. Our waitress was attentive without hovering, very knowledgeable about the menu and her recommendations were spot on. We started with the raw oysters which were on sale during happy hour. They were the perfect size, very sweet and so fresh. Shucked right after we ordered them. Then we ate off the appetizer menu. The Dan Dan shrimp were tempura fried to perfection; the cornmeal fried oysters were served with a delicious sauce and the brussel sprouts were a little sweet and the crispy apple slices were a perfect pairing. I didn’t take a picture but I had the bread pudding and it was as close to my former mother in laws as I can remember. Highly recommend this place.

Great atmosphere, good food. The prices do seem a bit high for the quality/portion, and some of the dishes felt a little off (the shrimp étouffée was fine, but not particularly flavorful, and I don't typically expect fried shrimp?). I also didn't appreciate the pushier service to take away plates before finishing. Definitely not in line with the price point. The gulf oysters were good.

I came here with three others on a Saturday for brunch/lunch in early February on a mild and sunny day. I was visiting Houston for the weekend from New York. A friend made the reservation a few days in advance but I don’t think one was needed as the restaurant was nearly empty. I honestly was not expecting to like this restaurant as I thought the emptiness was a sign of something; however, I really liked it! I really do not enjoy brunch and I was pleased to see their menu wasn’t filled with many boring brunch items. The server was really great and engaging (it probably helped that the restaurant had such few people dining). The food was really delicious and I loved the fusion element of the menu. We ordered multiple appetizers, each person had an entree as well as three drinks. Our bill came to about $125 per person. If I lived in Houston, I would go back to this restaurant and I would recommend.

I came here off a recommendation with hesitation but it was actually really good. Creole food isn’t a cuisine that I generally lean towards but I felt like our guests would appreciate the flavor. The cornbread was dangerously delicious and the homemade pasta was perfectly al dente. Kate did a wonderful job making suggestions and giving enough information to make educated decisions based on each individual preference. It was super helpful it picking such a great spread. Here’s the things I would recommend from what we ordered: -Cornbread -Crawfish etoufee with homemade pasta -Red Snapper (topped with delicious “seafood crumble”) -Charred broccolini (FANTASTIC!) I wish I would have tried the bread pudding with coffee so someone else review it and message me.

Ashley was an awesome server and I really enjoyed her. The Charred Broccolini was very delicious and had a good crunch. The St Landry Sidecar was so well mixed I had three. The corn bread was very good and was a good portion to share for three people. The duck poppers were good but super small. The gumbo was not my favorite and I sent it back. Love a dark roux but it was burnt, lacked spice and needed a tad bit of salt. Only ordered the gumbo because it was highly recommended. Loved the bar layout and huge dimly lit lights which made the ambiance nice and cozy.

I've been to Guadalupana many many times, because I used to live close by & it's convenient. The food in general is solid & filling & tastes ok, but honestly not extraordinary. I've pretty much had their entire menu, but mostly gravitate towards their breakfast dishes. Their coffee is AWESOME & I've bought several bags over the years. The staff & service are super friendly & great to be around. Parking is not convenient, so avoid the rush hours. I mostly used to walk there. It's a great little place to grab a quick bite or meet a friend, but the space is somewhat limited for big parties, & it can get a bit loud, but the energy is good.

Awesome spot, we came for lunch/brunch on a Sunday.. live in the neighborhood and finally remembered to check this place out! It’s a good too for sure.. usually have to go to Pasadena or southwest area to get food like this! We loved it

We stopped by to get breakfast tacos bc the coffee shop we tried that morning didn't have food. We had to park up the road bc parking was crazy, but ordered quickly and got our food fast. The staff was friendly and the spot reminded me of a diner I used to go to as a kid. Tacos were fine, flour tortillas were better than the corn. I wish the salsa was hotter, but it had good flavor. We also got a marranito to take home.

A whole lot of choices. Tried some excellent pozole and an omelet especial. Superb refried beans. The best cup of restaurant coffee I've ever had and I've had a lot.

Got the mole enchilada and breakfast sandwhich. Pro Tip: sub the croissant bread for the almond croissant. Adds a sweetness. Don’t think. Just do it. Lots of drink options for the vampiro juice horchata and cafe.

We came for breakfast and it was delicious! Really good coffee, pozole and enchiladas verdes. It’s a bit cramped but all in all delicious food. Oh also…the almond croissant is amazing, must try!

Service was alright. Food was mediocre, the tortillas for the tacos were still cold and didn’t seem to have been placed on the comal for long. Steak fajita tacos were too chewy, but I wasn’t sure if there was an option for carne asada instead of the fajita. Horchata, Ice Coffee, and chips and homemade salsa were good!

Red Dessert Dive offers guests freshly baked goods at a reasonable price. Most of the baked goods are sweet with the one savory item a kolache (could have been because of when we visited - mid-morning. The roasted pecan coffee was enjoyable as were the chocolate croissant and the vanilla bean scone. There is indoor seating. Go in and check out the cookies, cupcakes, croissants, cakes and other baked goods available at Red Dessert Dive. Highly recommend.

Red Dessert Dive has been one of our go-to bakeries for a long time. We love getting coffee and pastries/cupcakes on the weekends. Red did our wedding cake this last week and they did an amazing job. From working with the order manager to their delivery we couldn’t have been more satisfied. Everyone keeps talking about how great the cake looked AND tasted!!

This was my first time visiting this charming little place. Right from the outside you can tell you’re in for a treat. The mural, bright red door, it just all has such a beautiful, chic aesthetic that carries all the way through the inside, too. The employee who helped me was very nice and made a wonderful latte for me. I tried the butterscotch s’mores bar and it was so decadent. I could only have a few bites and took the rest home lol. I loved this place and can’t wait to go back, and take other people there, too!

It is a perfect place for chill! Especially you take a 10 mins walk at 15:00 in Aug. cheese cake is yummy, coffee is fabulous!

Houston we have a problem. I decided to try this dessert shop while I was in the Heights area. It was so good I ended up going there four times in one week and I live an hour away from this place. Everytime I went I try a new dessert each time like the banana pudding, strawberry short cake, cookies and cupcakes. Victoria was the sweetest person and she explained about the history of this place plus offered great recommendations.

We got our order via Doordash. The salted caramel pretzel was divine! Light, not cloying, not soggy, and enough to share. As a bookish girlie, I so want to go in for one of their book events and try something else!

Such a wonderful dessert bar and the ambiance is spectacular along with the delicious desserts. I’ve tried the bread pudding twice now it’s rated my favorite but today I had the turtle cheesecake thinking that’s my favorite now!! Oh and the Hot Chocolate was great for this cold windy day 🎄I brought one home for hubby too!

I stopped by for the flash BOGO bundlets from my email. The server, Nicole G., was very sweet. She welcomed me in as soon as I entered the shop even though she was tending to another customer. She was informative on the smallest details, like the carrot cake bundlet having little pineapples in it. I'm very happy with my experience today! Keep being amazing, Nicole G!

In more than a decade of eating these in various cities, you can still count on the quality of the product. The best tasting and moistest mini Bundt cakes or larger. The staff was so kind to answer all my questions in this visit. Seasonal key lime flavor until July 15. It’s superb.

This particular store is the closest to my home which is a little over 7 millers, until the new one opens. Every time I've been in this store they are always out of the newest cake item. A month ago I went there several different times and they were out of the banana pudding bundt. Today the same thing regarding the strawberry cheesecake. Its interesting the store keeps a lot of the other flavors. The staff are very kind, but whoever is in charge of putting product out and making sure there is enough regardless of the day or time they are lacking. Very disappointed!!

My first Gluten free lemon/rasp Bundt was so excellent that I couldn’t wait to get another! Unfortunately, I was disappointed on the second go around 😒. It was not fresh and was very dry. I live too far from the store to make a return trip. I also purchased other Bundt cakes and they did live up to standards. Just be aware that GF products may be a bit old.

First time visiting, and the cake was not worth the price or as expected. It was my husband's birthday and I wanted to buy him a nice cake. I paid $30 for an eight inch, and it was very gummy and flat. I like that it wasn't dry, but it was too wet and not fluffy at all. The icing was also a tad bit too thick and too sweet. I will continue making time to bake because this just was not it.

A shout out to the staff and leadership team at this location. Long story short, we were showing that our order had been processed, but when I arrived on location, they couldn’t find it. Knowing that I was under a time crunch, they quickly rallied the team and put the order together, even though they did not have confirmation on their end. In a true demonstration of putting the customer first, they made sure that the party of teens (birthday) had Bundt cakes. We then resolved the issue...which in reality was on our end. In terms of customer service… This location is a true class act.

Sunday Press is a stylish and spacious cafe in Garden Oaks with a vibe that transports you to a different decade. The retro-modern interior is beautiful, and the private parking lot (plus a drive-through) makes it super convenient. I recently visited with my wife and 15-month-old son, and we appreciated the family-friendly setup, including high chairs. Coffee-wise, I ordered a cappuccino ($4.75), which was good. For lunch, I tried the Tomato Basil Soup with grilled cheese ($16). The soup was excellent—rich and comforting—but the grilled cheese left something to be desired. It wasn’t cut for easy dipping, the bread was unevenly toasted, and the texture was a bit hard in places. The cheese itself was solid, but I expected better quality. I’d love to see them cut their grilled cheese diagonally and use a better bread. We also got a Lemon Blueberry Loaf ($5.75) for our son, and I ended up sneaking a bite—it was amazing. Moist, flavorful, and beautifully balanced. Their pastry case is full of tempting options, and everything looked fresh and high quality. Still, Sunday Press stands out with its broad menu of food, pastries, and now cocktails thanks to their Sunday Social bar addition. With co-owners Cassie Ghaffar and Sandy Nguyen also behind Saigon Hustle next door, it’s clear this spot is part of a growing local scene. I’d definitely return to try more.

I ordered the Mediterranean Greens Bowl to go....I recommend looking at the food before you leave....I got all the way home to my apartment in a high-rise 15 mins awaybefore I pulled my food out of the bag...the picture says it all. The manager was very kind & refunded the money. Probably won't order that again. May not go there anymore. UPDATE: I ordered my husband the turkey melt, he didn't want to say anything because mine was so bad but the greens were wilt edam barely any turkey!! It looked terrible. DO NOT EAT LUNCH HERE. I've had the breakfast in the past and it was fine, but I will never waste my time and money or be embarrassed by their lunch again. Sorely disappointed.

Sunday Press quickly became a favorite after I tried their croissant swirls to go—absolutely loved them! I came back excited to try their savory brunch options, but unfortunately, they missed the mark. The croissant sandwich looked amazing but tasted bland, and the croissant itself felt a bit stale. I also tried the eggs Benedict, and it was a letdown—the hollandaise sauce was watery and lacked flavor. Thankfully, the chocolate croissant swirl was still as good as ever. Stick to the pastries here; savory options were disappointing.

First, the online ordering system failed—I had already paid for my order, but when I arrived for pickup, they had no record of it. Second, when I finally received my order, the matcha was sour and barely had any actual matcha in it. Third, my wrap was soggy and watery, which was super unappetizing. And lastly, the staff was extremely disrespectful and unhelpful throughout the whole situation. This used to be one of my favorite spots, but it’s really gone downhill since they added the bar. I hope they turn things around, because it’s disappointing to see such a once-great place decline like this.

Food was tasty, fresh and front counter staff were nice. I had the chicken and waffles while my partner enjoyed a chicken salad sandwich. Both items were good, I'd say the only miss for me were the overnight oats - they were too dry and lumpy. Seemed like whoever packed it didn't use enough milk. Would still return since the service and food was good - also they have a bar if that's something you enjoy. Cheers!

Got the Vanilla Chia Seed pudding with fruit and granola because it was a buy one get one. $10+ for both. First time ordering from here. It's good, but nothing I can't make at home and typically do. Had a gotten this without the BOGO deal and paid full price, I would never have gone back. Very limited portion for $10+ a serving!!!! I'm actually hesitant to try anything else due to the price of this is the amount you'll receive. Overall, the chia seed pudding is tasty, but not extraordinary, and definitely not worth the expense. Hence the 3 stars. I guess everything is more expensive and smaller quantities these days. I'll go back to making it myself at home.

Justin was our bartender Friday and man….he was great! Great service, convo, playlist and DRINKS! I will go back on the weekend just to have a drink made by him. He was so chill and gave my friends and I great customer service.

I ordered 6 slices of pies and cakes as well as a box of macaroons to hand out to my customers for appreciation. Everyone was raving about the taste and quality, including me! I will definitely be back. Veronica was the staff member to help me- she had great recommendations and was extremely friendly. The space is clean and adorable as well.

Grabbed some macarons from Sweets by Belén—so good! The raspberry one was fruity and sweet, and the little hamburger macaron (vanilla flavor!) was such a fun surprise. Super cute and really tasty. The Nutella chocolate cookie was soft and delicious.

Sweets By Belen is a small and beautiful dessert shop. While the interior decor was very captivating, what attracted my attention more was the desserts in the showcases. The colors on the desserts were bright. I was greeted warmly by the owner upon stepping into the store. She introduced the desserts to me, and I loved it that all of them were made in house. The macarons were on sale - buy 2 get 1 free. I got the Nutella, pistachio, and passion fruit flavors. There were some cute unicorn macarons too! The macaron shells were a tad too crunchy, and needed more flavors. However the macarons weren’t overly sweet, which made them easy to eat. I also got the passion fruit 3 leches cake. It was good. I loved the slight tartness from the passion fruit against the sweet cake. I would visit again to get the whole cakes, as they looked very appetizing.

The desserts are so delicious! I got a small surprise bag from them from too good to go and i loved the little cake pops they had shaped as a chic. I was also given a flan, and a cookie! I recommend this place if you love Latin desserts. Lady was so nice I'd come back for it agian. 😭💕

1st time here, My goodness, Very cute Little boutique!!!! Love the decorations. The service is Awesome!!!! All the desserts are so Attractive! Couldn't choose ! Had the Passion fruit cheesecake, recommended as a all time favorite! So had to try and my GOODNESS, IT WAS SO FREAKING GOOD!!!! like spot on!!! The cheesecake is passion fruit flavor! It was just the right amount of sweetness. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND! it's so cute ! And it taste as good as it looks! Will be going back to try ALL their sweets!!!

I came in for a tres leches cake and, although they were out at the moment, the lady kindly offered to make a fresh one if I could wait about an hour. The environment was clean and beautiful, and the service was warm and welcoming. The cake itself was absolutely delicious — rich in flavor, perfectly moist, and definitely worth both the wait and the price. Highly recommend!

Very clean restaurant. Yummy crepe cakes and ice cream. Service was good but not amazing. I would give it 4.5 stars if I could, but the price of the cakes are a $$, so a 4 will do. Would come back again.

We came all the way from Austin to try these desserts with my wife we ordered the Dubai, the strawberry and the Matcha cakes a little bit on the pricey side, but can’t wait to try them. And a bottle of water is $6 bucks.

We are Lady M big fan from Thailand. We did tried it first time when someone brought this crepe cake to our Thai party. This crepe cake is very good, but a bit costly for us. I highly recommend to try :) We for sure will have Lady M cake every time we travel. For instance, in Singapore, Boston, New York and now Houton!!

One of the best cake places in the state. I tried the first location in NY. Their cakes are amazing and super delicious. The customer service is good and quick. Swing by the place if you're around. A decent place to pick up cakes for special occasions. Their most popular flavor is green tea but today I tried the original flavor, super creamer and milky. Worth a try. Excited to see this dessert boutique when we were roaming in the mall. Had to stoll on in and grabbed some cake. We tried Guava Mille crepe, and lavender one. The guava one was super refreshing and delicious while the lavender one was aromatic and good too. Will come back to try more flavors

Absolutely love this bakery! Their blueberry muffin is hands-down my favorite, perfectly moist with just the right amount of sweetness. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, which makes every visit a pleasure. I also love their rotating drink menu, there’s always something new and delicious to try. Highly recommend!

We go the chocolate chip cookie, tiramisu danish, and the almond croissant and rheybweee all delicious. For drinks we an iced latte and a tea which were also good. The sitting area is not too bad. The only thing I disliked was they are open until three but stopped putting out items that ran out before 12ish . So you might want to get there 11 am or before to be able to try all the items on the menu

I had the Falafel Pita Pocket with garlic and herb yogurt, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors worked really well together, and it’s a great choice for vegetarians. The staff are always friendly and helpful. They can get busy on weekends, so I usually place my order online and just pick it up when it’s ready. That way I don’t have to wait too long. Overall, really good food and great service. Definitely recommend.

Love to stop by on our weekend rides and enjoy an espresso beverage w the occasional pastry. It’s fun to see who all is walking over from the neighborhood for a quick visit. Counter service has always been helpful and friendly. There can be a bit of a wait due to the popularity of the place in the mornings but that’s okay as the beans are nice here.

EaDough is a cool little place with some fabulous baked goods. The coffee and matcha sounded great but I haven’t sampled it yet. The ham and Gruyère cheese kolache is great with plenty of filling and a soft bread around it. The breakfast bodega sandwich is not your average breakfast sandwich with that delicious aioli on it and plenty of eggs. The lady at the register (Jessica?) was super friendly too

The staff here are some of the sweetest people ever!! They have a huge selection of pastry’s and they are always amazing! Everytime someone visits Houston I bring them here and they equally become obsessed!

Love the different flavor pastries you can get here. Literal window shopping for the pastries and treasure hunting for the seasonal drinks. Love Croissants has been on my list as a local foodie for quite a while. And I finally got to try them out this weekend. Not only are the staff extremely welcoming and open to questions, they really put heart into their work, which are displayed into their handling. Throughout the store, there are even pictures of the staff and their families to add to the homey touches. I haven’t even gotten to the seemingly religious experience of the bites themselves. I came in with my mindset ready to order 4 croissants. I was so enthused with their detailed work, that I walked out with 7 of them. On my first bite, each individual layer of dough made itself known with a beautiful accompanying crisp sound. Please, let me fawn over their attention to each layer. The Ella was one that truly knocked my socks off, actually recommended by the staff. The turkey and goat cheese croissant hit the right notes of texture and flavor. But hands-down, the star of the show was the classic butter, croissant—where there’s no competition to the layers themselves. Just crisp layers, butter, and love. Did I come back the next day? … did you read the review? Of course, I did. I always expect season 2 to be a bit of a downer than the first season. They lived up to my experience of the first season.

It was a cute little place with outside seating. The food was very expensive for what it was, but I could tell that they used quality ingredients. The Ham and Asiago croissant was packed with ham, unfortunately, it tasted pretty basic. On the display, there was an empty pastry case, and that was because once someone ordered the Apple Crumble, they'd add the vanilla pastry cream, apple, and crumble then and there. That was something I've never seen, and it was nice that they serve is so fresh. The workers were very friendly.

Popped into this little bakery on my way to Sesh and had the most delicious muffin ever. The young lady who helped me with my order was very kind and accommodating. I can't wait to go back to try out the other sweet and savory baked goods on their menu!

This is the bakery I’ve always wanted but never knew I needed until today. I showed up on a lazy Sunday, and this croissant really took my day to the next level. The staff was incredibly friendly and patient as I asked questions about half the menu, they provided helpful recommendations on how best to enjoy the food, and overall created such a positive environment that I’ll be sure to return again and again. On top of that, this was genuinely the best croissant I’ve ever had. Crispy and flaky on the outside with a soft buttery core, filled with a tender flavorful piece of turkey and a rich herbaceous goat cheese. Truly I was blown away, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit and the chance to try more of their menu.

Walking distance from my apartment the coffee is amazing! Bought my grandmother a chocolate and strawberry cake for her birthday. It was absolutely delicious and perfectly sweet. Also tried the beef empanadas, the guayana and cheese pastry. Extremely clean and friendly service. Very authentic!

The pastries that we got,a cortadito and Mamey shake were good, fresh, tasty. They have so many Cuban style desserts The place is small. Just big enough to eat in. I forgot the make sandwiches

I've tried a few things here, and everything was great. The reason this is almost a daily visit is the cortadito! I'm in love with the coffee, and it's consistently good. I get a double while I eat something there and another double to go. I'm back home and I really miss this place. Friendly service and a wide selection. I always need help from my friend because she knows what I like and I'm not cuban, so she's super helpful.

First time coming to this place and try their eck tart! It was so fluffy and delicious!!! It was late afternoon and I’m sure it’s been out since they baked but that was still that good! We tried mochi and Japanese cheese cake and they were all good! Love to be back again! One thing I can point out is that Inside the store is not that inviting since it’s quite messy there with all kind of items. Other than that, it was good. I would pay more for the old ECK egg tarts from around 10 years ago. They were big and had so much more custard. Like a mouth full of custard all the way until the last bite. Still good but I wouldn't go for a dozen anymore. The guy told me he *thinks* they're the same size. I'm positive they're not because the original ones left a strong impression on me that had me coming here just for dozens of egg tarts. If you're reading this, bring those back and take my money!!

Nice intimate coffee shop with delicious baked apple pastries and mini kolaches. I was here on a rainy quiet day snd could sit at the window people watching. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great experience with our screen-printed birthday cake. From my initial helpful phone call to setting up the design, the process was smooth. We had a child with a peanut allergy attending, and the bakery directly confirmed the cake's safety with the parent, which gave us great peace of mind. The cake itself was a big success and tasted wonderful. Highly recommend!

I think giving honest reviews helps the consumer make good choices for products they don't buy often. Memorial Bakery has become one of my families favorites for cakes and cookies. Recently I had a graduation party and ordered 48 cupcakes and 48 Baylor cookies for the party. They were a hit! We had to put aside a couple for later to enjoy before the party was over. I would recommend Memorial Bakery to anyone needing desserts for large crowds, or even pop in for a coffee and a sweet treat! Pricing is a little higher than others, but you are in a higher end part of town.

One of my absolute favorite bakeries in Houston to visit. I always get a pound cake if they are available. I have gotten the blueberry, original and banana nut pound cakes and they are very moist and delicious. I have gotten them for work and everyone at work loves them. I love getting their petit fours vanilla and chocolate, both are my favorites to get when I visit. I have also gotten cupcakes in a variety of flavors, I have not regretted it. I have also bought a variety of cookies for friends as gifts and they have loved them each time, the astros cookies made wonderful gifts. The savory food they have here are just as yummy as their desserts. I don't think there is anything that i wouldn't try here and I wouldn't like.

Definitely recommend the pastrami sandwich and fries. The fries are 100% my favorite style of fry. Everyone in my party was very happy with their dishes. My lack of a 5th star comes from no fountain drinks, only canned soda which is just not ever a good offering. This would be a great set up for a Maine root fountain or any variety of those yummy sugar cane soda fountains. Okay also the picnic table out front had big banners maybe laying on it so it looked disheveled and weren’t usable.

Saw it on the Chris Sheperd eat like a local show and had to come try. We tried the fried bologna with fried okra and cheeseburger and fries. Both are delicious and a lot of food for two people. They have a bar inside if you want to drink. They have an outdoor area they share with the other restaurants. The whole complex is called stomping grounds. Highly recommend you try the place. We were able to find parking and the service at Luloo's is great, very friendly and accommodating. Can't wait to come back and try some of the other menu items esp the ones with Blood Bros bbq meat.

The rodeo cheeseburgers are amazing! Highly recommend. The fries come out seasoned and so crispy. We also got the turkey bun mi, which was OK. It could’ve had some more flavor to that one. But we also got the chips and queso Blanco with smoked brisket. The smoked brisket was to die for! This is my second time coming, and I made sure to bring my husband this time. I love the atmosphere even if you don’t have small kids it’s still a good time to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Pictures are from my first visit. But I wanted to share them anyway.

Good sound track. Friendly service. Loved walking in on a whim and enjoying it this much. The frozen painkiller KILLED. If we didn't have other plans we would have stayed longer. The food was fresh and elegant. The focaccia was so flaky and buttery. Do yourself a favor and get you some.

I stopped by here for lunch on a Wednesday around noon and was pleasantly surprised by the cute space. Menu is short and sweet, and includes kid-friendly options. I went for the Turkey Club with a side of fries and a drink. The sandwich was super yum and had the perfect ratio of ingredients. I was a big fan of the sprouts (very old school) and the milk bread was delish. Fries were golden crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Good, solid fries. Pretty tasty. Can’t complain. I also loved that they didn’t serve fountain drinks—cans only. Damage was $22.45 after tip. Already looking forward to my next visit!

Tried the fried smoked bologna sandwich and the Blood Bros turkey banh mi and a side of fried okra. Shared the food with a friend we were mainly there for tasting and experiencing the sandwiches. They were both Delicious and the fried bologna sandwiches take you back to your childhood. If you lived in the south in Texas chances are you’ve had that before it’s nostalgic. The frid okra was great great.
