Kiran's is an elegant restaurant located in Upper Kirby, offering a unique blend of Indian and French cuisine. The menu features inventive Indian fusion dishes, including options for à la carte dining or tasting menus. Inspired by the Awadhi style of cooking from Northern India, the restaurant presents delicate flavors cooked over a slow fire. Guests can indulge in contemporary twists on traditional Indian dishes such as papadum nachos and tandoori duck with apricot biryani.
I went for solo for a birthday afternoon tea, dinner, and lunch 😬😬😬; it was by far the most wonderful afternoon tea I have had ever, and I have quite a few I’ve done some great some not so great, I’m a pescatarian and easily accommodated with the savories which were delicious, all the sweet were delicious, the variety of teas throughout the experience was amazing, the service impeccable. I also went solo for a birthday dinner, and did the lobster tasting, service was awesome, they remembered me from the tea service, the lobster butter, lobster bisque, and lobster curry oh my, it was wonderful. The following weekend I made a trip back to Houston and went for solo lunch, again they remembered me, and the service was still wonderful, food amazing. The standout, the soup flight, was absolutely amazing, and the okra that came with the crab appetizer, it was the best thing I have eaten all year… lol, and I have some good food this year. Even if you don’t eat or like crab, just get it to get the okra, I wanted a big bag to take back home with me. It should be a dish on its own. I’m returning for the afternoon tea and the okra for sure.

Visited Kiran’s for the second time with colleagues and clients — it never disappoints. The food and service are always top-notch. The thali options for the main course are a great touch, though serving them on a traditional thali plate would make it even more convenient and authentic. Overall, a wonderful dining experience with great flavors and presentation!
Muthu S — Google review
My friend and I came to celebrate and we were not disappointed! We got in quickly, the service was quick and attentive, and the food was delicious. We sat outdoors and it had a beautiful ambiance. Our server, Maan Singh, was delightful and helped us with our order (as well as taking pictures for us). I would come here again and again if I lived in the area! The food portions are definitely shareable-- 1 chicken Tikka Masala, an order rice, garlic naan, samosas and then a chocolate cake. Everything we ate was excellent and we are leaving full and happy.

Kiran’s is absolutely wonderful! The food we tried was amazing — full of authentic flavors, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. The service was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend Kiran’s to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.

OMG, the worst indian food I have ever had. I went with a lot of optimism seeing the reviews and pictures but can't give beyond 1 for the food. I ordered a vegetarian thali hoping to have the best Baingan Bharta, Sarson ka saag and vegetable korma. But to my dismay I couldn't pull the courage to take a second scoop of Bharta after tasting the first bite. Absolutely awful tasting. Second was the sarson ka saag. It felt like just boiled and lightly salted with some garlic to it. No authentic taste in fact no flavor at all of Sarson ka saag. The korma was ok but had to add salt to it. Upon mentioning my disappointment, about the saag, the manager said we are Punjabi. This I couldn't relate to the feedback that I was giving. If there is no flavor of authentic sarson ka saag how does you stating that you are punjabi help? Further disappointment came when as asked how would I want to be compensated, I opted for taking it off the check instead of substituting those 2 dishes with anything else. They just took off 10% off. Any Indian would know that curries in a thali constitute the main meal and 66% of the main meal was to be compensated for. Secondly I asked her to let me know how much would it be, when they take care of it, to which the manager said, I'll see what I can do. Had I been told that it would just be 10% off I would have taken the other option to get substitutes and rather paid the bill in full. The Thali on menu costed $48 and my total bill after compensation was $46.76. I was craving for Shrikhand for dessert but the evening was already spoiled with poor customer service from the manager. I had given a 2 star on service because of the server who was really nice. Atmosphere, considering the ambience and outside patio with no loud music or much sound it was good. Pathetic experience and no taste in food. I would never ever go there and spread the word of not to try their thali ever.

We went to Kiran's on a strong recommendation from one of our colleagues, and of course, we wanted to try this premium restaurant in Houston. We were pretty impressed by the ambience and the general vibe of the place. We went without a reservation and i would recommend all to not do that. Please make a reservation before going here. Before we got a table for our food, we made ourselves comfortable at the Bar table so that we can grab our drinks. We then shifted to our main food table. The personnel who saw us in and who took the order both were very very polite and welcoming. I would give a 5/5 for them on the way they handle each customer. The order was taken promptly and the service was very nice in general. I would rate the taste of the food to be so so and not something to drool or talk about. The roti was infact burnt and did not taste good at all. I have had much better biryanis in other restaurants. thus for the food, i would rate this 3/5. Overall its a good place to have a classy dinner i would say. But this would not be my choice of tasty food.

Food was 50/50 hit and miss. Starters Tandoor Paneer is excellent, but lamb ribs not so good. Tandoor sizzler was good, chicken jalfrezi was not good. Tandoor Ribeye was good and breads were decent. Saffron rice was terrible since it’s very hard and dry. The desert saffron creambulee saved the night it was excellent.

From start to finish, our experience at the restaurant was nothing short of amazing—thanks to Man Singh. His service was truly unbelievable: attentive, warm, and thoughtful without being overbearing. He made sure every detail was perfect. The food? Absolutely delicious! The samosa was perfectly crisp, the main courses were rich and flavorful, and the dessert (especially the gajar halwa with pistachio ice cream) was the perfect ending. Every dish was presented beautifully and tasted even better. Highly recommend this spot—especially if you’re lucky enough to have Man Singh taking care of you!

Bistro Menil is a chic eatery located on the Menil Collection campus, offering a fusion of European-accented American cuisine and drinks in a minimalist setting. The bistro is known for its customizable Valentine's Day dinner and wine special, available for takeout with 24 hours notice.
An excellent French restaurant that is very accommodating for gluten free food. The service was decent, and the food was great. Make sure to order the baked Alaska for dessert, unless they add Crème Caramel to the menu. I would definitely return in the future should I come back to Houston.

Short but comprehensive menu and brief but great wine list. All tastes are pretty much catered for. Efficient and friendly service. Quiet lunch, a precious thing. Pizza Amalfi with pear and truffle oil was plenty for two.
Paul L — Google review
Had a delicious dinner date here ✨ The atmosphere is classy enough for a nice dinner but casual enough to drop in by chance for a lunch. The pizza was interesting. A bit more of bread + salad than pizza but good flavors. The mashed potatoes were deliciously creamy. Main dish was tender and juicy. Staff was sweet and gave good wine recommendations.

A really lovely cafe bistro. The eggplant chips were out of this world. We've all eaten our fair share of pizzas but somehow the Chef takes it to another level. Highly recommended.

Nice Sunday brunch with 2 friends- we had bubbly and mimosas with our meals. I loved my crab & mushroom crepes with lemon butter sauce. The cold zucchini with pancetta salad was unique and delicious! Love the service too. Make reservations so you will have seating right away- too noisy and crowded. Suggest that wall and ceiling should have noise absorbing material-

As a celiac girlie, finding a restaurant that truly accommodates gluten-free dining is a challenge—but Bistro Menil exceeded my expectations! While they don’t have a dedicated gluten-free menu, the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond to help me find safe options. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, and the atmosphere is just as lovely—perfect for a relaxed brunch or a cozy dinner. Plus, being right next to The Menil Collection makes it an ideal spot for a full-day experience! Highly recommend for my fellow gluten-free foodies looking for a safe and delicious meal in Houston! ✨🥂 You can also follow my journey navigating gluten-free life with EoE over at @glutenfreewitheoe on Instagram for more great finds!

What an amazing restaurant. I have loved eating here for the past ten years or so. The patio in Spring was always perfect. The food was phenomenal, as was the wine selection. I had the best rigatoni of my life here about 7 years ago. The 12 hour ribs were always delicious. Will miss this place dearly. So glad we were able to go once more this week. I had the San Marino pizza for the first time in years. The sauce was spicier than I expected, and the mushroom and panchetta added a certain funky umami. My wife loved the crab cakes. The eggplant fries can sometimes be too greasy or soggy, but they were crisp and perfect this time.

The St. Regis Houston is a luxurious hotel offering refined rooms and suites, a fine dining restaurant, an outdoor pool, and a full-service spa. While it exudes luxury, the hotel also caters to families with amenities like Texas-shaped pancakes and waffles for kids, child-sized robes and slippers, in-room childcare options, and assistance from the concierge for family-friendly experiences around town.
I stayed at St. Regis Goa for two nights with my parents, and it was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. The property is absolutely stunning — beautiful views, a serene private beach, and a gorgeous pool that instantly made us feel relaxed. The staff was exceptional — so polite, attentive, and genuinely warm. Special thanks to Tulsi Ram by the pool and the gentleman at the beach — both were incredibly friendly and made our time by the water so enjoyable. Their service stood out and really made us feel cared for. The breakfast was the best I’ve had — delicious, fresh, and with so many options. Everything about the stay felt luxurious yet comforting. What made it even more special was that the hotel beautifully decorated our room for my parents’ anniversary, which truly touched our hearts. My parents enjoyed every bit of the vacation, and for me, seeing them happy made it all worth it. St. Regis Goa gave us not just a stay, but memories we’ll cherish forever. Highly recommend this property if you’re looking for luxury, comfort, and unforgettable hospitality.

This did not feel like a "high end" hotel at all. They up charged for everything. You are forced to pay $65-$75 per day for parking. Parking is cheaper with the garage across the street. The hotel was dirty, the air intake filter looks like it wasn't changed in years, there was dust coming out of the air vents, the toilet paper is one play and very thin (just buy some soft toilet paper from costco...). The valet guy was hovering while we unloaded. They don't accept virtual credit cards or apple pay. I checked in on my phone before we got there and my wife had to wait in the lobby because she couldn't get the key cards even though we checked in already on the app and she had the confirmation email. Then they wouldn't let us take our luggage to our room so we felt obligated to tip the bellman. The breakfast was good but $26 for eggs and sausage is a little pricey. The pillows were so flat that I had to use 3 of them. The gym was freezing cold while it was a nice 70 degrees. Some of the rooms our wedding party stayed in didn't have hot water for the shower.
Andrew C — Google review
It okay, but pretty bad for a St Regis. Rooms are large enough. We've always had a butler when we stayed at other St Regis' but not at this one. There was not even a mention of a butler. The furniture is old but good quality. There are no outlets around the bed, so you cannot charge your device. Which I found shocking in today's culture. The windows were so dirty that you could barely see outside. No fridge or microwave in the room, but you can request one for an additional charge. The bathroom was great. Large with a nice shower area. Staff was polite, no complaints there. The hotel does not feel busy at all so that was nice. We never had to wait long for elevators. They charge $75 a day for parking which seems absurd. You can park across the hotel in a parking garage for cheaper or do street parking for free. The lobby has a nice sitting area, but they have blocked out all the power outlets! So you cannot sit and work on your laptop.
Piyush A — Google review
This was the worst week I’ve ever spent in a hotel, and I truly regret not leaving earlier. First, they didn’t provide my baby with a simple kids’ shampoo or body wash — even though this is supposed to be a family hotel. When I asked, they just said “no.” Second, I couldn’t sleep properly the entire time. The lights kept turning on and off by themselves — clearly, this place is old and poorly maintained. You simply can’t rest in these rooms. And third, the staff was completely unsupportive. They closed the pool for two full days during the hottest week, without any notice or apology. We finally moved to the Four Seasons, and that was the best decision we made. I would never recommend The St. Regis Houston to anyone.

We stayed in a junior suite the room was nice but a little dated. I am a Marriott member so I had a 2pm check out. At 8:25 in the morning someone was beating on my door. When I opened it it was an employee wanting to know whe. I was going good to check out. We were out late the night before so we was sleeping when. All this happened We got up and got dressed and went to check out the front desk said you was supposed to checkout late I told them what had happened and all they could say is have a free breakfast. I am very disappointed in this hotel. I would have thought there would have been more than go.have breakfast

I recently had the pleasure of visiting at The St. Regis Houston, and from the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The property itself is elegant and serene, offering a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. But what truly made my site visit unforgettable was the outstanding service, especially from Traci Day. Traci went above and beyond to ensure my experience was seamless and enjoyable. Her professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail were remarkable. Traci’s dedication and genuine care made me feel truly valued as a future guest. It’s rare to encounter someone who embodies hospitality so effortlessly. Thanks to Traci and the entire team, we will be booking our wedding group there in 2027!

After touring countless venues for our wedding next year, we finally found our perfect match at The St. Regis Houston and it’s all thanks to the incredible Director of Sales, Ms. Traci Day. From the moment we stepped in for our site visit, Traci made us feel genuinely welcomed and understood. She took the time to listen to our vision, asked thoughtful questions, and helped us imagine every detail coming to life in the space. What truly set her apart was her ability to make us feel not just like clients, but like family. She walked us through every possibility with patience and enthusiasm, offering expert guidance while making sure our personal style and priorities were front and center. Her confidence and calm demeanor reassured us that we’re in the best hands… and that our wedding will be executed flawlessly. Traci’s warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made a lasting impression on both of us. We left the tour not only excited, but completely confident that The St. Regis is where our dream day will unfold. We’re beyond grateful for her support and can’t wait to celebrate our wedding next year. Thank you, Traci, you’ve made this journey so special already!

If you know luxury hotels (unlike the people leaving positive reviews for the St Regis Houston), you shouldn't stay here. Feels like staying at a nursing home. St Regis and Ritz Carlton brands think they don't need to invest in remodeling... The decor and overall design hasn't been facelifted in at last 40 to 50 years. Everything's old, gross, and dead. The gym will make you want to give up on life (I walked to equinox instead). I actually have no positives to point to. Stay at the Four Seasons. Avoid this location at all costs. I'm never staying there again, they need to shut down for an extensive remodel. This place isn't salvageable. I realized after the first night that the Four Seasons is priced to great value in Houston! We're staying there next time. Nothing would convince me to stay here again, although I expect the GM to write something thoughtless like that in their response to this review. I'm a Global Ambassador Elite member of bonvoy. I've stayed over 125 nights this year (thru October). I only stay at the Ritz, St Regis, or JW when staying at a Marriott brand location. I will be calling out the terrible locations at these three brands going forward. People need to know. Marriott needs to do better. Selling your brand naming rights to terrible operators got you here. Poor oversight and lack of investment into remodels and consistency is on you.

Nestled in the vibrant Uptown Park area of Houston, Hotel Granduca is a luxurious retreat that captures the essence of an Italian villa. Since its grand opening in 2006, this exquisite property has consistently impressed guests with its elegant design and exceptional service. With 122 beautifully appointed rooms and suites, including spacious premium options featuring fully-equipped kitchens and private balconies, every stay promises comfort and sophistication. Guests can unwind by the serene outdoor pool or enjoy gourmet dining experiences on-site.
If you’re looking to plan your next event or gathering, look no further than Hotel Granduca. From start to finish, their team made our book launch celebration seamless and unforgettable. We hosted our event in the beautiful Library, but the hotel offers many versatile spaces that can accommodate all types of gatherings. We had the pleasure of working with Briana, who had every detail perfectly organized before we even arrived. Troy was fantastic throughout the evening, ensuring everything ran smoothly. And our server, Nikia, went above and beyond—she was absolutely amazing, taking care of every single one of our guests with such attentiveness and grace. Thank you to the entire Hotel Granduca team for making our night so special! We can’t wait to work with you again.

We always have a fantastic stay here! They recently completed a remodeling as of April (so I'm told). The lobby is very upscale and rich with a very high-end decor. The rooms are very spacious and well-appointed. The beds are some of the most comfortable I have ever slept on. All of the staff are very kind, polite, and helpful. They all make you feel very much at home. It is such a classy, intimate atmosphere. Even traveling with a toddler, they make you feel very welcomed. The restaurant serves excellent fare, we had the breakfast service this morning and our food was absolutely delicious. There are no shortage of options in Houston especially in the surrounding area, but it is hard to beat the quality and value you get staying here. It truly feels like a home away from home. The only critique I can even think of would probably relate to Internet. I got very slow download speeds on my laptop. For checking email and general browsing, I'm sure it's more than adequate. If you're looking for an elegant, upscale hotel in the heart of Houston that is in a fabulous location then look no further!

We decided to have a staycation at Hotel Granduca for our wedding anniversary. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted and provided with quick, courteous service. The hotel is beautifully maintained, and no matter where we went, there was always someone ready to welcome us and offer assistance. After heading back from dinner. We enjoyed cocktails at the bar—the drinks were excellent, and the service was fast and attentive. The next morning, we had breakfast at Remi. The dining area was spotless and well-kept, service was attentive, and the food portions were generous. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the coffee was fresh and flavorful. Overall, our stay was outstanding. The price was very fair for the experience, and Hotel Granduca truly feels like a hidden gem in Houston. We highly recommend it!

Terrible stay that was overpriced and unsanitary. I rarely give 1 star reviews but it started and ended wrong. I checked into a smoked out room but tried to make the best of a short stay by spraying my own air freshener and cracking the door for a bit. Sit on the balcony to be facing a bunch of dumpsters. I know trash has to go somewhere but upcharging for a dumpster view is insane! Suite had a full kitchen but the wine fridge was locked and there was no soap for dishes which was weird. Bar drinks are ridiculously overpriced. The last mercy blow was the roach that walked across the the bedroom floor. $300 a room and (yes they made me pay it). Disgusting place!

We are on our second to last day/night here, but I just couldn’t wait to get home. This has been the best 10/10 stay ever. I’ve never encountered a business where every single person you encounter is above and beyond kind. From the sweet guys at the door to the reception desk to the staff in Remi to the pool staff to the housekeeping staff. I never saw this hotel before the renovation, but it’s totally beautiful post renovation. We absolutely love having a kitchen, living room, completely separated bedroom and bath, walk in closet. You don’t get this in hotels anymore without spending an arm and a leg, which we did not have to do here. Even just little touches like delicious baked cookies delivered to our door and complimentary champagne and endless free water. These people know service. Will absolutely stay here every single visit to Houston from now on.

We had the privilege of staying here this weekend, and I was delighted by the unapologetically old-world class of this hotel. Every aspect of the experience here was high quality, clean, and yet decidedly not bowing to many hotels' trend of minimal modernism. The beds and bedding set you up for a dreamy night of sleep, the suites themselves have everything you need to feel like you're in an elevated version of your home, and the staff is impeccably professional. Be sure to plan time to enjoy the library, dine at Remi at least once, relax in the courtyard, and sip a refreshing beverage by the pool. Every person we interacted with from the polite and friendly gentlemen at the valet to the sweet and attentive young lady working in the pool area was absolutely lovely and enhanced the experience of staying at the Hotel Granduca. We will absolutely be back. This is a hidden gem in Houston where you will feel transported to a rejuvenating land far from the city.

Two weeks ago I stayed at the Hotel Graduca and my vehicles was broken into. The back window was shattered and the items that were in the back of my car stolen. The hotel did a great service and had my window replaced and paid me for the items that were stolen. They were great to work with and LOVED that they took care of everything!

The WORST 5-Star hotel experience we’ve ever had. Things started well with a complimentary glass of Prosecco at check-in and a free room upgrade from using our Chase Sapphire Reserve card, but everything thereafter went downhill. This hotel has potential, but the lack of communication, service, and follow-through ruined our stay. After the valet unloaded our Tesla helping my wife and son to the room, I went to park / charge at the hotel’s free Tesla charging station. Unfortunately, there were no “EV Only” signs, so gas-powered cars constantly blocked the two available spaces. When I walked back in less than 10 minutes later asking the same valet for directions to the elevator he suddenly ran up to me half way down the elevator hallway demanding to see my room key. I felt that was unnecessary and somewhat confrontational. I've never been made to feel that way at any hotel. Housekeeping's failures became annoying. Just a few hours into our stay, we requested extra towels and washcloths. After 90 minutes of waiting we called the front desk and cancelled as we were going to bed. Towels eventually showed up the next morning but were left on the dirty hallway floor outside our door. No washcloths were provided including upon a second morning request and 3rd request made directly at the check in counter on our second night stay. Repeated quests for room service (food, coffee and or ice) simply never came upon our two night stay. On our final morning, we wanted to use our Chase Sapphire Reserve's daily breakfast credits so we ordered room service at 6:50am but by 9:05am nothing was delivered. At this point we decided to pack up and check out. 3 minutes before walking out they delivered the ice but nothing else. Dining was no better. Breakfast at Remi took more than 45 minutes to arrive even though there were only three total guests in the restaurant one of which was seeking to pay out. After breakfast we started walking out upon which the bar tender asked “Are you lost?” to which I said “No”. He then said… “Are you sure?” At this point I realized the situation. It was because I was wearing an OU Sooners Polo when it was College's Football opening day with #1 Texas Longhorns playing #3 Ohio State that morning at 11:00am. I said "I know where I’m going" and walked away with the family. We had numerous additional issues (including double room night charges that we're still trying to resolve two days later) that continued to make the expereince even worse. Overall, this was easily the worst so-called luxury hotel experience we have ever had.

McHugh Tea Room & Gifts is a modern tea room and gift shop located in Bellaire. It offers a variety of organic specialty teas, light lunch options, and beautiful art on the walls. One unique feature is their to-go tea service, which includes sandwiches, desserts, scones, and loose leaf tea for brewing at home. The atmosphere is described as great with delicious food options like BLT sandwiches and chicken veggie soup.
Hosted a bridal shower at McHugh’s. It was a seamless experience from start to finish. We were completely taken care of. The food was delicious and tea was perfect. We did bring some personalized decor but we didn’t need much as they took care of everything! Thank you!

I recently visited McHugh Tea Room & Gifts, and while my experience wasn’t perfect, I still enjoyed my time there. The tea selection was excellent, and the tea I ordered was delicious. The food was also pretty good—everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. However, the service was a bit slower than I expected. There were only two staff members working during my visit, and one of them was busy attending to a large party. It seemed like they were a bit understaffed that day, which may have contributed to the slower pace. One thing I didn’t know beforehand was that you have to reserve their tea tray a day in advance. I had just discovered the place that day, so I didn’t have the opportunity to try it, which was a little disappointing. That said, I totally understood their policy, and it’s good to know for future visits. Despite these small hiccups, I’d definitely come back to try them again. The tea and food were good enough to make me want to give it another shot, and I’m sure the staff was doing their best under the circumstances. It might have just been an off day, and I’m curious to see how they are on a fully-staffed day!

This place is a hidden treasure. I love, love tea! So many delicious tea options. We absolutely loved our experience. The staff are beautiful, nice and attentive. For a day we felt like we traveled across the pond. We will definitely go back.

I had the most delightful experience at McHugh Tea Room! The ambiance was charming, and every detail was thoughtfully curated. A special thank you to Nancy and Miriam, who were absolutely amazing. Their warm hospitality and impeccable service made the morning truly memorable for my birthday. The tea selection was extensive, and the treats were delicious. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cozy and elegant tea experience!

This review is specifically for the CHRISTMAS AFTERNOON TEA. The website is not clear, it is $55/person even for children. The entire tea is more of a snack. VERY light tea. For the extra cost, you’d think they’d give you enough food for a meal. The quality of the sandwiches and desserts was terrible. Sandwiches were straight from a kid’s lunchbox- slab of ham, white bread, and cranberry jelly..then white bread, bell peppers, and 2 spinach leaves. Then some chopped up cat food on a cracker. Sure they were cute, but not worth the $55. The scones and pecan pie were the only things worth mentioning. The tea selection is great and customer service was friendly. But do NOT pay extra for the “special” tea service for Christmas. Total rip off. The regular afternoon tea looks great, sandwiches were full sized and desserts actually filled up the plate they were brought on. Our entire party felt ripped off for the price once we saw a table next to us with the regular afternoon tea.

McHugh Tea Room & Gifts is an absolute gem! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the tea selection is incredible. What really sets this place apart is the owner, Amy—she’s incredibly hospitable and goes out of her way to make every guest feel welcome. Amy’s passion for tea truly shines as she takes the time to educate you about the different blends, their origins, and how best to enjoy them. It’s a rare and refreshing experience that keeps you coming back. Highly recommend for tea lovers or anyone looking for a cozy, enriching visit!

The tea was wonderful (I had the Hibiscus Blossom) and the hospitality was phenomenal. Amy, the owner, is so kind and accommodating! The vibes are great too, it’s cozy, cute, and a great place to bring your friends to hang out and catch up. I’ll definitely be returning soon!

This place is so cute. I was disappointed when I came for my reservation because I didn’t get to choose which food package I wanted. I was told over the phone that I would make the selection at the restaurant. My waitress said that the manager was the one who took my rez but she never asked me which food package I wanted so she put us down for the traditional tea package which I didn’t want. I wanted the Halloween seasonal package. So be sure when making your rez you tell them which food package you want. I’ll be sure to do that when I come back which I will definitely be going back!

Little Hen is a charming restaurant and bar in Houston that offers a unique floral dining experience. The establishment boasts an aesthetically pleasing interior with layers of floral design, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Their innovative menu features items like rose petal pancakes, adding to the chic appeal of the eatery. Reservations are recommended for indoor seating due to high demand, but outdoor seating provides a cute European feel despite the Houston heat.
I absolutely loved the design of this restaurant — it’s so beautiful! The colors are amazing: on one side you get soft, delicate tones, and on the other side there are deep, rich colors that make the whole place feel really cozy and stylish at the same time. It’s the perfect spot for a girls’ get-together — we had such a lovely time chatting, laughing, and of course taking photos (thank you to the staff for being so kind and patient about that!). The service was excellent — everyone was so polite and thoughtful. The food was delicious too! I had the avocado eggs Benedict and it was just perfect, practically a full lunch. This is definitely the kind of place where you want to celebrate a birthday, have a brunch with your girlfriends, or just spend some quality time in a beautiful atmosphere with amazing food and gorgeous presentation. Thank you so much — I’ll definitely be back! 🌸✨💕

I took my sister here for her birthday in August. Check in was easy with reservation and got seated right away. The atmosphere and vibe was aesthetically pleasing! Cute tables and chairs and flowers in every corner. We ordered 5 different items from the menu. The food was great and portion was decent. Service was great and our server was attentive and efficient. The servers also sung for my sister’s birthday.

My Sorors and I went to Little Hen and had the most amazing time! The food, service and ambiance was wonderful. We went for Afternoon Tea on a Sunday. The White Wedding and Corazon de Cien Fuegos tea was the best 🫖 Everything was a 10/10! I believe our server’s name was Shelby, and she was the sweetest! We were running late, and they accommodated us so well. We will definitely return!

I stopped by Little Hen today to grab some to-go tea and realized I never wrote a review from my last visit — and it definitely deserves one! A few weeks ago, I brought my 90-year-old grandmother here to celebrate her birthday, and it was absolutely perfect. The restaurant is so elegant and beautifully decorated — every detail feels special and inviting. It’s also the perfect spot for photos — everything from the table settings to the floral touches is picture-perfect! The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel so welcome the entire time we were there. Every dish we ordered was delicious and beautifully presented. It was such a lovely experience and the perfect place for tea, brunch, and quality time with loved ones. Little Hen is a true gem in River Oaks — I can’t wait to go back! 💕✨🫖☕️🌸

It was my first time here and I loved it. They had flower decor everywhere, cute tables and chairs. It was so pretty. The service and food were on point. I had their dirty rose latte and their salmon and avocado toast. It was delicious. They also give you a rose. My friend and I went for my birthday and the restaurant manager gave me their bag of their coffee. It enjoyed it so much and plan to return there soon!

Visited on a Saturday afternoon. Easily checked in for our reservation and was seated inside at a cute table by the window. The restaurant was busy with moderate noise but you are able to talk and hear your table mates. There is a dress code for the restaurant and it is beautifully decorated and quant inside. Feels like you walked into a beautiful vintage tea room. We received prompt service upon seating. The drinks were great and perfect for cooling off in the Texas heat. We had the berry parfait, French Toast with strawberry compote, and tacos. I really enjoyed the fresh berry parfait. The food is good not great typical breakfast and brunch fare but the service is definitely great! I would visit again for the tea service or to experience in the outdoor garden area. If you’re looking for aesthetically pleasing brunch restaurant in Houston Little Hen should be on your list. $$ Paid street parking

Proper Rose Garden in Katy offers a delightful culinary experience with its Asian-European fusion desserts, brunch, and afternoon tea. The Proper Rose Garden tea service provides an assortment of pastries, sandwiches, cake slices, and a choice of tea pot for $59.95. The $60 Rose Garden Set promises a memorable dining experience with swift seating and accommodating staff. It includes customizable tea selection, club sandwich, and lemon berry mascarpone cake.
This is a definite recommendation for me! The food was so delicious and was fresh! We had a party of 3 and ordered: •Proper Rose Garden Set- we chose the Rose Milk tea, California Club sandwich and the Tiramisu slice of cake. •A House Egg salad sandwich •A hot coffee •Dragonyaki with the vanilla custard •1 Strawberry Croffle The set: Sandwich was savory, the tomatoes were fresh and the avocados were creamy and a perfect green. The tiramisu was a great balance on the layers. The cocoa was not bitter whatsoever and the coffee used to soak the lady fingers was smooth. The Rose tea also had a great balance of flavors. We were worried about the rose flavor being overpowering but it was not. Very delicious. The egg salad was very creamy with a bit of texture due to crispy egg pieces that were incorporated. The arugula on the side was a good touch to add into the sandwich. The Dragonyaki was a bit thick due to the shape, however it was delicious and not so sweet. The vanilla custard ice cream was icy and creamy, great combination with the dragon 😌 came with a chocolate pocky. The strawberry croffle is to die for!! I definitely want to try it with the other toppings available. The cream was very refreshing and not super sweet. Seems like it could be made by hand which I love! However this by far was my favorite due to the different textures and flavors. Overall we had a great time coming and it was our first visit. We signed up for their rewards because this will be our go to spot now for me and my daughter 💕 the team was very attentive and patient. They have fast turnaround as well for the food so nothing was cold coming out that didn’t have to be.

I recently visited this restaurant, and while the atmosphere is undeniably beautiful, my overall experience left much to be desired. The music was too loud, which made it difficult to enjoy the ambiance fully. As for the food, it was disappointing. The boom boom shrimp lacked flavor and quality, and the eggs were far too salty. These issues made it hard to appreciate the meal. On top of that, our waiter, Cole, seemed forgetful, which added to the frustration. While mistakes happen, attentiveness is key to a good dining experience, and this visit fell short. I hope management takes these points into consideration, as the atmosphere holds so much potential if matched with better food and service.

Beautiful space! The only downside was that we waited 1 HOUR to get tabled and then 30 minutes to get our waitress to finally take our order. We then had to wait for another waiter to cover our table. Rose Milk Tea was amazing but the food was okay. One of our orders delayed and it was finally served. However, it was cold even though it was suppose to be hot. I assume the workers forgot to give it to us once it was done. Overall, amazing drinks and space but the staff was very unorganized.
Erin S — Google review
The place is beautiful, the teas are really good and the staff is really nice (Dylan, our server, was the best), but the service is not good. We were a party of 8 and they brought us our plates with an interval of 5 to 10 minutes between plates. We are Latin and we don’t start eating until everyone has the food served, so we had to wait until all the plates were brought to start eating. For me, bathrooms are really important and reflect the cleanliness of the place and the bathrooms here are not nice at all. I’m sure that you can work these things out so to make it a 5 stars place.

My boyfriend took me here for Valentine’s Day, and I’m so grateful for for it! We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who extensively talked to us about menu items and thoughtfully suggested teas and desserts he thought were suited to our tastes! The tea pot was so cute, I thought it was absolutely adorable that each table had their own unique set. We got the rose milk tea at 75%, cucumber sandwiches, vanilla crepe cake, and loved ALL of it. The scones were warm and lovely, the heart macaroons were so yummy, and the staff were attentive and kind (thank you, Jeff!). The decorations were so cute, a perfect photo op location as well. My boyfriend and I are most definitely committed regulars now!! As a side note, ignore these one star reviews, this tea place definitely deserves the business!

New teahouse for tea lovers. They have good selection of teas, and the quick bites are matching well with the drink. Each group is limited to 2hr seatings. The teas are served in a fancy-looking pot, but the pottery is not of high quality. The French toast goes very well with the teas. Parmesan fries are good. Fried chicken sandwich is good too.

We went here with our friends here and it was a very good experience. Loved the rose milk tea and lavender tea. Cucumber sandwiches were very good !tried popcorn chicken , it was okay. Fries are tasty but somehow not so hot.vegetable momos are good too. Sauces are really tasty . Tried peach oolong tea was very very refreshing . Must try with friends very very good satisfied with the food. Definitely try it out .

This is a must experience. The place is beautiful, very insta-worthy. The food is as amazing-looking as it is delicious. The service was just right. We were only there for coffee and ended up getting dessert as we'd had lunch not too long earlier. The Lancaster Hotel is a historic and elegant accommodation option in Houston's Theater District. Housed in a 1926 brick tower, the hotel boasts sleek rooms with upscale amenities such as Bulgari toiletries and Frette linens. Guests can enjoy complimentary perks including a wine hour, gourmet breakfast buffet, and local shuttle service. The property showcases an impressive contemporary art collection featuring works by over 200 Texas artists, including Robert Rauschenberg.
We chose this hotel for our 23rd anniversary getaway and couldn’t be happier with our experience. We were looking for a European-style hotel in downtown Houston and found this gem through Google reviews. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The room was very clean and had a charming, rigid yet cozy style that gave it so much character. The entire hotel had a welcoming boutique feel to it. We were also pleasantly surprised to find that so many extras were included with our stay—complimentary snacks (both outside and inside the fridge), a lovely breakfast included, and thoughtful touches throughout. It felt like every little detail was taken care of. After a beautiful dinner in the city, this hotel was the perfect place to come back to and unwind. The style and decor were elegant and comforting, and the overall atmosphere made us feel right at home. Even better, the price was incredibly reasonable given the quality, service, and everything that was included. We’re so glad we chose this hotel to celebrate our special day. If you’re looking for a great place to stay in downtown—charming, comfortable, and full of value—I highly recommend it!

We truly enjoyed our stay at The Lancaster Hotel! Everything—from the beautifully designed common area to the exceptional service from the front desk and valet—was top-notch. We arrived very late, around 3 a.m., and Gary greeted us with patience and a warm, friendly attitude. He kindly answered all our questions and even helped us with a room change request without any hassle. His professionalism and kindness really stood out. The hotel also offers a lovely complimentary breakfast in a charming dining setting, which made our mornings even more enjoyable. We can’t wait to return—The Lancaster Hotel has definitely become one of our favorite places to stay!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Very comfortable beds, spacious rooms, and a perfect location for getting around downtown. The staff that we interacted with were incredibly helpful and courteous. Berta was very attentive and made sure we had ever we needed to enjoy our stay here. The bar downstairs had delicious drinks and breakfast was delicious.

Right out of our Lyft we were greeted and welcomed by the front door staff. The receptionist was pleading to talk with and offer info about the area. I walked into the room and the TV has “welcome, Fuentes” on the screen which I felt was nice. They have several complimentary drinks and snacks in the mini fridge. The shower water felt good and soft. The bed and sheets were comfortable. Dinner was great at the hotel and the free breakfast was good. This is definitely a great place to stay.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. It feels very luxurious start to finish. I appreciate the presence of doormen and the front desk staff were welcoming. I was in a Standard King room. The room is stunning, the bed is comfortable and the water pressure is perfect. The restaurant has really good food including a vegetarian option. The only tiny down side is that the rooms are very small so just be aware of that if traveling with a partner; the door to the bathroom is at the head of the bed. All in all they took care of me and I would absolutely stay again

The hotel was nice with lots of amenities and free snacks/coffee in the room. Even though the breakfast was meant to be closing 10:30, whenever we went at 10 they had already started closing the doors and not refilling any empties. My room was very big and was kept very clean, however if the aircon wasn’t on, I could hear everything from the room next door. They accept your packages for free and kept at reception. The room service was expensive for what it was, but everyone at the restaurant was very polite.

Stayed for four nights and absolutely loved the experience. The location is excellent, the breakfast was fantastic, and the room—as well as the entire hotel—felt luxurious. The staff was generally great, though the woman supervising breakfast seemed consistently unfriendly and unapproachable. On the other hand, the valet team was outstanding!

I rarely write reviews of any place. My general view of hotels is that they all look the same when your eyes are closed. But this was so nice I had to take a minute. This hotel was a hidden gem in the art district. The rooms is wonderful. Comfortable bed, great water pressure, and while the bathroom is small it has great amenities. The breakfast on the mezzanine was delicious and a wonderful setting. Service was great, free snacks in the room, what a refreshing change from the “everything costs extra” culture at most hotels. The food at Cultivated F+B would be worth coming in for even if I wasn’t a guest. I will stay here as often as I can. My fellow business travelers all booked the Hyatt, lol. I’ll laugh at you all while I eat my fresh orange and have a espresso in my room… :-)

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 I had my engagement party here last Sunday, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel completely at home. The service was excellent — both the manager and the server were incredibly attentive, professional, and kind. The food was absolutely delicious, and everything was perfectly prepared. Thanks to the amazing team at this restaurant, my engagement went smoothly, and I'm happy to say my girlfriend said yes! 😊 Thank you for being a part of such a beautiful moment in our lives. Highly recommend for any special occasion!

Fantastic ambience with a great selection of food. With tons of parking in front of the restaurant. We ordered the high tea as presented in the birdcage tiered stand and tea set. Aesthetically was great but flavour was average and cold (even for savoury food). Which is reasonable given it is high tea and food was probably prepared in advance. Also got the lunch set which was more worthwhile. The papaya salad had a nice touch of dried shrimp which added umami to the spicy salad. The drunken noodles was served hot out of the wok and was rich and flavourful.

The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were superb, attentive, friendly, and welcoming. My only concern was that they weren’t able to accommodate seafood allergies, which is a significant area of service, especially given how common food allergies are. It’s something I hope they’ll consider improving, as everything else was exceptional. 10/10 recommend, just not if you have a seafood allergy.

This was our second visit to Makiin Thai. Excellent experience. A warm greeting from the staff upon arrival. The presentation of the cocktails were excellent. I would rate them 4 out of 5 for taste. On the other hand, 5 out of 5 for the starters and main dishes. Also, the desserts were excellent and very impressive! A violinist played live music and a photographer was present to capture the moments. Overall, a memorable and enjoyable evening!

We celebrated our anniversary at Makiin Thai in Houston, and it was perfect from start to finish. Our table had a beautiful wooden “Happy Anniversary” sign, and we were welcomed with complimentary champagne in elegant gold-detailed glasses — such a thoughtful touch. The service was outstanding: the manager personally greeted us, and our waitress was incredibly kind and attentive. We had calamari, Royal Pad Thai Lobster, and Majestic Ocean Medley — all delicious and beautifully presented. The cocktails were served in stunning glasses and tasted amazing. For dessert, the Chocolate Tree with cotton candy and coconut ice cream was both stunning and tasty. Everything — from the warm hospitality to the gorgeous interior, creative cocktails, and beautiful food presentation — made this one of our best dining experiences in Houston. Truly 10/10. Highly recommend!

This place is hands down The Best restaurant! Each of their dishes, starting from appetizers to dessert, is so meticulously curated and presented. Each of their dishes that we tried were insanely delicious. Additionally, their presentation of the dishes were top notch too. Such unique and beautiful display! We went there to celebrate my birthday, and they provided a pretty happy birthday sign board. Also, gave a complimentary dessert. Someone from their staff, may be the manager, checked in on us, making our experience really warm and inviting. As for food, the sampler appetizer was bomb! Both taste wise and display! Kong thai soup was so well balanced with mild taste of sour and savory. Chicken fried rice and lobster curry were amazingly delicious and has such unique taste. Moreover, desserts aren’t not competing too. Had the best Mango sticky rice, and the complimentary coconut ice cream had a terrific display along with good taste. They have lunch buffet and high tea services during different times. We’d love to try out those options too. Can’t wait to return!

Omgosh this place was so fun! They have the friendliest staff and is the cutest place. I loved this place and they were so busy but took awesome care of us. We even had a surprise princess visit so my 3 year old granddaughter loved it as well. I highly recommend this place. 💖

What a quaint and bougie restaurant! When you get seated, they bring you a sample of the tea of the day. We ordered a pot of tea along with a sampler platter, chicken salad on croissant and a turkey cheese with cucumber sandwich. We also ordered tomato bisque and broccoli and cheese soups. And yes we ordered dessert. Scones with cream and jelly and a slice of heath chocolate cake. All delicious.

At last, I came to this place after my niece invited me over for a cup of tea. I was very impressed how they converted this house into a tea room. The service and waiter were exceptional. The food is delicious. They serve you a cup of soup, very delicious, before having tea and some delicious sandwiches of your choice. You have to come here. I recommend this place by all means. Please, just stop by soon.

We've been coming to this quaint tea room for over three years now, and it continues to impress us every time. The atmosphere is always charming and welcoming, the tea selection is delightful, food is delicious, and the service is consistently top-notch. Most recently, we tried the Princess Experience for the first time, and it was absolutely magical! Everything was lovely, from the princess costume to the decor to the special attention given to each little guest. We're so grateful to have a place like this to return to again and again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a special outing, whether you're a tea lover or just looking to make some sweet memories. PS. Their spice tea is to die for! ☕️ -Havlik family (Carol, Rachel - posted again because old review was posted on my work email oops!)

We had the most magical experience at the princess themed tea party! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and absolutely wonderful with the kids. The attention to detail was amazing from the beautiful setup to the delicious variety of sandwiches and sweet treats, everything was thoughtfully prepared. The princess was a true highlight, she made her way around to greet every child and was so kind, patient, and engaging. You could see the joy on all the kids’ faces! Will definitely be visiting again.

After years of anticipation, The Marigold Club has finally opened its doors in Montrose, and it’s a culinary gem that lives up to the hype. Spearheaded by James Beard semifinalist chef Felipe Riccio and executive chef/partner Austin Waiter, this upscale restaurant offers a menu that beautifully blends European influences with playful twists.
Went to this place for bruch on a ySaturday to avoid mother's Day rush. Wanted to try something different than the basic eggs, pancake etc. We were not disappointed. It is a beautiful and elegant place that had a french inspired brunch menu. Brunch menu consisted a variety of savory and sweet dishes, from salads to small plates all cooked perfectly and artfully presented. Service was very prompt courteous and attentive. It is a place definitely worth multiple visits to fully explore their menu. Highly recommend everything we tried, profiterol, griddled banana bread, cardamom scones, french omelette, king crab tater, french toast.

Amazing Experience!!! From the moment I walked in, the Atrium welcomed me with its vibrant, airy vibe and tasteful decor. The ambience was a beautiful blend of upscale and chic, perfect for my birthday brunch. Did I mention "Green", my favorite color :)! We were pleasantly welcomed by the host and introduced to Jessica (our waitress). Jessica was very sweet, engaging, and most importantly, knowledgeable about the menu. Now, let's talk about the food! Everything was mouth watering and certainly catered to our tastebuds; from the cocktails, to the oysters, to the sweet and savory tea tower, to the vibrant teas, and etc... We certainly indulged in all the goodness Marigold Club had to offer. Overall, we had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday, and I recommend 1000%. #Unforgettable

Been here several times, sat in all 3 rooms, tried all sorts of food and this is by far one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. Food, Ambiance, Service, everything. My favorite thing to order here is the beef tartare, roasted chicken and the fries are amazing. Their deserts are super delicious, they gave us 2 different options for a birthday we came for on the house, and we tried the ice cream cart which was super cute and had the perfect portion size. The manager has checked on us a few times, as well as our serves always being very helpful and attentive. Definitely recommend this place for a nice dinner destination for any sort of occasion. One of my favorite spots in Houston.

We had the most wonderful dinner at Marigold Club on Friday night. Everything we ordered was spot-on ~ the oysters, ranch crackers, shrimp cocktail, Duck Wellington, and Fish “Not” Chips were all absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is so charming and transformative we honestly forgot we were in Houston. It’s the perfect spot for a special occasion, but also a fantastic way to elevate an ordinary weeknight. Complements to the pastry chef - the desserts were finale to an already outstanding meal. Highly recommend!

Phenomenal dining experience at the beautiful Marigold Club! Gorgeous interiors, wonderful ambiance and welcoming staff! Everything we ordered from the oysters to our main dishes of Halibut and chicken were top notch! We ordered the sundae cart for dessert- which is a nice treat! Our server, Martha, was very attentive, informative, knowledgeable and kind. We were very impressed and will be returning! Thank you to the restaurant for making our date a lovely memorable experience!

The food was absolutely amazing! Everything was flavorful and beautifully prepared. I was really happy with the quality and taste of the dishes. However, the only downside was that the staff kept coming by to pick up our plates even though there were still a few bites left. It felt a bit rushed and interrupted the meal experience. Though the food itself was excellent, and I’d definitely come back, I just hope they give guests a little more time to finish next time.

The ambiance is lovely and we were very impressed with the service. The food was 4.5. The presentation was great. Flavors were not quite a 5 but still very good and a wonderful place for brunch. Check out the hand painted wall paper! Wow!!

Marigold Club is such a beautiful restaurant, I love the atmosphere as well as the aesthetic! I wish I would have booked the tea service, however, I plan on revisiting for the experience. Emma Jane is a chic and elegant restaurant that offers exquisite French-inspired cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The ambiance is described as incredible and serene, with beautiful natural light and well-decorated interiors. The Afternoon Tea service is highly recommended, served in a beautiful tea set and tasting delicious. While some found the food to be a bit disappointing in terms of portion size and presentation, others enjoyed dishes like Egg Benedict and steak with eggs.
I brought my wife here for "Tea Service". Overall, we enjoyed our experience and didn't encounter any negatives that some of the other guests encountered from previous reviews. As expected, the atmosphere was elegant and inviting with a formal setting. All of the staff was kind and attentive. Our tea service included a three tier pastry tower and three pots of tea. The food was good and the tea was great. If you have never experienced tea service before then, this is a must try.

Emma Jane is a charming spot, perfect for a girls’ brunch. Located in The Harlow District, it offers ample parking or valet for a small fee. The restaurant consists of two cozy buildings, both part of Emma Jane. One features a full bar, where you can grab a seat if you prefer. The decor is stunning, with a feminine, French-inspired vibe. Think cute tea seats and beautiful furniture that makes the space feel inviting and stylish. The staff is generally attentive, though our server’s performance was a bit inconsistent. He seemed distracted, often looking at his phone or absent, even though we were the only table in the restaurant. At one point, I asked for coffee and received a lukewarm cup. When I mentioned it, he said it was still brewing, despite it being 10:30 a.m. and us being the first to arrive—so I couldn’t help but wonder if the coffee was from the day before. Service overall was a bit lackluster. My friends and I agreed it was mediocre. I had to call over another server at one point, and she seemed hesitant to help. The server also didn’t clear our plates promptly after we finished, and I had to ask someone to pick them up. On a positive note, I appreciated the option for separate checks, which was a nice touch. As for the food, it’s definitely a highlight. I had the avocado toast, and it was one of the best I’ve ever had—served uniquely, yet absolutely delicious. We also tried the fluffy pancakes, and everyone agreed they were fantastic. Everyone left happy with their meals. Prices are reasonable, with nothing too extravagant. I skipped a drink, but my friends said theirs were just okay. Overall, a cute spot with great food, but the service could use some improvement.

Been part of the Jeff and Andy's team way back when. To see their growth and maturity in their spots has been fascinating. This place is just adorable. I'm a tea person, and these teas are amazing!! Some of the best I've had in America! Keep it up guys. Always cheering for y'all! Also Tanzania our waitress was also amazing! Also my man Lui, one of the best in the game! The Kirby Group forever!

Mediocre, at best. Nothing extraordinary about the food. Got the $65 tea service and the service was sub par. They came 30 min after the start of our reservation, after telling us that the next party scheduled for our table was at 2- so we had to hurry! If the food was worth it, I would have overlooked the issues but nothing except the place setting and ambiance was good. I won’t be going there again
Cynthia V — Google review
Food was good but when u tell the waiter for where’s the milk for tea, utensils, napkins, and they bring the sauce of the food after we finished eating? This is on a regular Tuesday which was not busy at all and couldn’t believ how slow the service is. I sarcastically said to the waiter? Do we eat it with our hands and he said yes… wow wont be coming back for the 65$ tea service. Oh and u can’t leave a bad tip bc they charge for a service fee and tip included….
Jerry T — Google review
Had the most delightful high noon tea experience. Brought in 15 ladies, and none left dissatisfied. Quick apology to other diners if we were too loud. The table decor was soo immaculate. Food was delicious, though not enough for 15 women. I ate a savory scone, though the young lady said some sweet ones were part of it. Never saw them on my side. But everything we ate, was delicious. Here was my observation about food served. None of the items brough out was evenly distributed, if each person was supposed to eat at least 1 peace of each item brought. I hope the chef and manager pay attention to that. Seems if you have a large group, you get served less food per person. 1 server for my party wasn't enough. Tea always got cold or finished before we could get a refill. The young lady though did her best, and I applaud her for her composure. Tea options were tasty as well, especially the toasted coconut and Chai. I will definitely come back again. Thank you for the experience.

With a new location in Montrose's Harlow District, the restaurant boasts lavish decor including marble floors and sleek banquettes, creating an exclusive atmosphere. Guests can indulge in classic dishes such as beef carpaccio and flounder picatta prepared to perfection.
We had a wonderful time at La Griglia! A friend recommended it, and it did not disappoint. The meal started with a delicious house pizza, followed by fresh handmade pasta and perfectly cooked lamb. We ended with a beautiful Key Lime pie. Amazing food, great atmosphere, and excellent service, perfect for any celebration!

La Griglia is truly a gem when it comes to upscale Italian dining. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, lively, and elegant — perfect for both a special occasion or an indulgent night out. The service was exceptional. Our server staff was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made great recommendations, especially when it came to wine pairings. The food was phenomenal. We started with the wagyu carpaccio and mozzarella cheese — both fresh and flavorful. For our main courses, the short ribs pasta, table side pasta, and red snapper were standouts — perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. Every dish was rich in flavor, and you could tell the ingredients were top quality. The dessert menu was just as impressive. We tried the tiramisu, cheesecake, and chocolate cake, which were the perfect sweet ending to an already incredible meal. La Griglia manages to combine elegance, great energy, and consistently delicious food in one experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for refined Italian cuisine in a stylish setting.

This was our first time dining at La Griglia. Upon arrival, we were impressed by the upscale decor and atmosphere. The food is some of the best that we have had in Houston. Our experience started off with the charcuterie, which was fantastic. It is more than enough to get a table of 4 to 6 started for the evening. We enjoyed our meals, including the Frutti Di Mare and the Short Rib Capalleti. The pasta was house made and cooked to perfection. We finished the night with a delicious key lime pie, which is a must try and the bread pudding.
Jerry W — Google review
The service was amazing, and they always kept our water glasses filled the entire meal. I ordered the lobster bisque and the branzino fish. The bisque had plenty of lobster and was very delicious. The only change I would make is to add a bit of pepper for some spice as it was primarily creamy and smooth. My wife and I finished both of our orders. The branzino was a very light meal. It had a spicy sauce on the side which really helped the flavor of the fish. We highly recommend this restaurant for a patio lunch on a nice spring day.

We went to La Griglia for our anniversary dinner and had such a lovely time. The hosts and servers were friendly and made us feel really welcome. The atmosphere was cozy and just right for a special dinner. The food was delicious, especially the mushroom lasagna, which completely stole the show. I’d go back just for that dish alone. Definitely a place I’d recommend and plan to return to!

I had a truly exceptional dinner experience at La Griglia last night, with outstanding food and service. The lively and colorful atmosphere makes it a perfect spot to dine with friends or family. The service was exceptional! It's a pleasure to encounter staff who are well-trained, happy, and friendly, a rarity to find all three qualities in today's world. Dining in their outdoor patio feels like you are sitting at a restaurant on the Mediterranean with the abundant landscaping and beautiful furnishings.

We had my birthday dinner here. Let me say, this place is PHENOMENAL! We had the shrimp and crab cheesecake as our appetizer followed with their pasta (I can’t remember the names. 😭) pls give this place a try! Amazing atmosphere as well! What a great night we had here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The ambiance was fantastic and service was even better. Our waiter was charismatic and gave great recommendations. There is a free parking lot but several spots are reserved for valet so you might have to valet on the weekend as we went during the week and the streets were full only a few free spots available. Overall excellent food and service would highly recommend for a special outing!

Excellent meal from the Houston Restaurant weeks menu. Four amazing courses. We sat at a table with a view of the pool. Service was friendly and efficient

My gf and I went here for Sunday brunch for the Houston restaurant weeks menu. We each got a 3 course meal for only $20 each, an incredible bargain. For appetizers we ordered lobster bisque and ceviche, both were excellent. The lobster bisque had a citrus under tone that was very well balanced with the lobster flavor which made it appropriate for brunch, and the ceviche was very bright and cool in flavor. For my main entrée the chicken and waffles were pretty standard but the habanero syrup really set it off. My gf's order of crab cakes eggs Benedict was impressive. It was two large servings of crab cakes with perfectly poached eggs on top. To top it off the bread pudding and peanut butter mousse were very decadent. I'm addition the the great food the service was top notch, beautiful fixtures, clean bathrooms with hand towels, and comfortable seating made for a very pleasant dining experience.

The Tea Kettle Cafe, located in Old Town Spring, is a charming and delightful spot perfect for special occasions. The cafe offers an enchanting ambiance and a serene atmosphere, making it an ideal destination for a unique outing. Visitors can enjoy a variety of delicious treats such as scones, macaroons, onion soup, and aromatic teas like the daydreamer tea. The cafe's dedication to quality is evident in every dish served.
Jersey graciously welcomed us to the delightful Tea Kettle Cafe as we took in the charm of their new wine bar, The Mad Hatter. He arranged for us to sit on the patio, where the atmosphere was simply magical—soft lights danced around us, and a gentle breeze added a whimsical touch to our evening. From the moment we walked in, every detail was attended to. Jersey provided us with outstanding service, treating us like honored guests throughout our visit. The dishes were culinary masterpieces, bursting with exquisite flavors and creativity, while the wine selection was equally impressive, enhancing our dining experience perfectly. Every sip and every bite was savored, creating an unforgettable evening we will always treasure. This is now one of our new favorite restaurants and plan to come here more often!

The tea was delightful, the music was pleasant, and the sandwich was pretty good too. Prices were reasonable as well. The only noteworthy unpleasant thing was out of the restaurants control, I won't hold them for that. A party arrived for a reserved tea service and ended up sat next to me. They were .... let's say not quiet. They weren't exactly screaming but I certainly know more about them than I ever wanted to know. Overall I would recommend going, but if your entire afternoon plan is a good pot or two of tea and a book well.... other people exist, so be prepared to have a backup plan.

My friends and I had lunch here, and while the atmosphere was pleasant, the food was just okay. We ordered an appetizer, chicken sandwiches, and chicken wraps along with some drinks (these sandwiches did not have a top bread slice). Unfortunately, our orders were initially mixed up, but the staff corrected them promptly. The iced tea was refreshing and enjoyable. Overall, it was an average experience - not bad, but not particularly memorable either. We might return to try their afternoon tea instead of ordering individual meals. 🤔

My daughter and I went for a large mommy/daughter tea party today and it was absolutely perfect. Charming little cafe with the BEST food and tea. (My personal faves were the cucumber sandwiches and the blueberry scones.) They even had coffee for the coffee lovers in the group! Our service was also incredible, especially considering the chaos of a large group of younger girls. We really appreciated everything and cannot wait to come back!

Decided to try a new place to eat on my way to my favorite Crystal store and so glad I stopped by this jewel as I just wanted a moment of peace and calm! Olivia was the best server- genuine, gentle and 100% service oriented- thanks for making my experience so delightful! I was the only one on the patio, it's got a nice covered porch and even though the inside is pretty- I recommend the patio! They have an array of selection on the teas, it was yummy and I enjoyed my sandwich as well! They have many healthy options and I'll be back with a group of purposeful ladies next time! Cheers🫖

We reserved a spot at The Tea Kettle Cafe for their "Mad Hatter Tea Party" and LOVED it! They recently had a room inside painted with an Alice in Wonderland theme and it looks like a storybook. The theme of the "Mad Hatter Tea Party" was expertly carried out through out the tea party menu. The sandwichs were delicious and loved the stuffed mushroons. The strawberry tart was decadant. The macaron with "eat me" on it and the cheshire cat (with his smile) cake bite was too cute and delicious. They even added little bottles of their butterfly lemonade in small bottles with "drink me" attached. We did add a cool drink to our tea party for an additional cost and the butterfly lemonade was worth the price.

Where do I begin? We had such a wonderful experience during afternoon tea. We were greeted by a friendly staff and we were in awe of the beautiful atmosphere. We had the privilege of sitting under a GORGEOUS tree mural that made this afternoon tea such an amazing and magical memory shared with my mother in law and sister in law as we introduced my 2 year old toddler to the tradition. The bites were plentiful and delicious and the tea selection was varied with many wonderful options to choose from. Overall, the entire experience was a delight! Thank you! We will definitely be back!

Great vibes and AWESOME theme. The whole place is very cute. I ordered the beef empanadas, and they were delicious. However, it was a bit of a smaller portion than the ceasar salad or sandwich. Otherwise it was fantastic, I would just order a side in conjunction with the empanada in the future, lol.

If you're in Houston, make sure to stop by Lady M Cake Boutique at the Galleria for an exquisite dessert experience. This charming bakery is celebrated for its elegant cakes and delightful pastries, particularly their signature mille crepes that are as delicious as they are beautiful. The atmosphere is chic and inviting, perfect for enjoying a sweet treat or two. During my visit, I couldn't resist trying the Mont Blanc cake—a rich chestnut-flavored delight that's popular in Japan—and it did not disappoint!
Knew this place from the Galleria location. Saw this location is finally open, so decided to check it out. Place has a very nice dining area and living up to its name "boutique." Saw "Mont Blanc (chestnut-flavored cake)" and tried it; it's a popular cake in Japan. It was rich and flavorful. Didn't buy their mille crepes this visit but I bet they are excellent. They often have different seasonal flavors of them, sawand also have special cakes like Mont Blac too. It's a very good treat.

One of the best cake places in the state. I tried the first location in NY. Their cakes are amazing and super delicious. The customer service is good and quick. Swing by the place if you're around. A decent place to pick up cakes for special occasions. Their most popular flavor is green tea but today I tried the original flavor, super creamer and milky. Worth a try. I can't wait to try more flavor. Welcome to Houston!!!

Just had the best Mother’s Day weekend there! They knew that we were bringing our two little kids so they gave us really nice smelling kid shampoo and two little kid robes- absolutely adorable. I had an aaaamazing massage and spa. I did add the foot scrub, which was quite short and probably not worth the extra $30 but I would go back for a massage for sure. The only negative I would say is that the pool side service is extremely slow. There’s already a 20% service charge included so since the servers are not really working for tips they aren’t that prompt but everyone is still very nice and maybe with more servers during peak season summer it might be better. The pool does get some shade which is good for having littles and the hot tub was a hit. I was a little nervous about taking two toddlers to this hotel but it was just fine and there were actually a lot of families/kids at the pool and it wasnt overcrowded. Our room was nice, we upgraded to a suite (and it was totally worth it with the littles). We were able to walk over to MTK for dinner and get some cookies from Phoenicia. We had a little movie night with the kids in the room and it was a super sweet, 10/10 Mother’s Day.

From the moment we arrived, the valet team demonstrated professionalism and respect, always attentive without being intrusive. The front desk staff welcomed us with genuine kindness and handled every detail with quiet efficiency. Our suite was clean, and thoughtfully stocked. It felt like a space designed not only for comfort but for rest and presence. On our first day, there was an unfortunate moment at one of the on-site restaurants, where undercooked chicken was served to our baby nephew. While I trust it was an isolated lapse, I would suggest that guests dining with children take an extra moment to ensure meals are fully prepared. I left with gratitude and a quiet certainty that I will return.

My stay at the Four Seasons Houston was amazing. From the moment I arrived, the staff was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The location is excellent, everything is close by, and it’s really easy to get around the city from here. The room was spacious, comfortable, and offered an incredible view. The pool and common areas have a relaxed vibe that lets you disconnect from the city’s hustle. Everything is very well maintained, and you really feel that mix of luxury and comfort that makes a difference. I definitely felt that every detail was designed to make your stay enjoyable, and it’s clear they want you to feel comfortable and well taken care of. Without a doubt, what defines Four Seasons is excellence in service.

I simply cannot comprehend how this location is in anyways shape or form associated with the four seasons brand. This is by far (BY FAR) the worst four seasons I’ve ever been to. I am deeply disappointed in the lack of response, and fake promises from the front desk staff, also the lack of following through on simple request like providing a dental kit (which I’ve had to ask multiple times) if you are reading this review trying to figure out where to stay for a convention choose the Marriott hands down, I have friends who are their and everything is far better. Also the spa and pool at this location are extremely sub par and not even close to some of their other locations. This stay and location is truly a stain on the Four Seasons name, avoid it.

I want to say thank you to the manager and security officer who helped me and my daughter on Sunday 08/17/2025. They were so compassionate and patient. They went above and beyond to help us and we weren’t even staying at the hotel. Words cannot express our gratitude. If this is how you treat those who aren’t starting there I can only imagine how wonderful you are to your guests. They didn’t have to do anything for us, but they chose to help the best way they could, and for that we are forever grateful💜💜

I’m beyond disappointed with the valet service at the Four Seasons. I had already paid and received confirmation for a daily parking rate through a service the hotel clearly accepted vehicles from. I handed over my vehicle without issue and left for the Astros game. Upon returning, I was blindsided — told I had been “scammed” and would need to pay twice the amount just to get my car back. Despite showing valid confirmation that the parking arrangement was legitimate and still active, the staff completely refused to acknowledge it. Even worse, they claimed I had “spoken to the manager” when I dropped off the car and was warned I would have to pay again — a blatant lie. I never spoke to any manager, and I had witnesses who confirmed that fact. The woman at the cashier desk was incredibly dismissive and repeatedly insisted that I had been scammed, even as I presented documentation proving otherwise. The hotel’s staff accepted the vehicle without protest, only to later deny any affiliation with the service, essentially holding my car hostage unless I paid again. This is not just poor service — it’s dishonest, disorganized, and disgraceful for a brand that markets itself as a standard of excellence. Being told I was “scammed” after the fact, with no accountability on their end and no effort to resolve the issue, was completely unprofessional. At no point did anyone apologize or try to make this right. I expect far better — and frankly, anyone should. I will absolutely not be trusting this hotel’s valet service again, and I strongly urge others to be cautious before handing over your keys. If this is how the Four Seasons treats its guests, especially when they’re in the right, it’s time to reevaluate what “luxury service” really means.

Luis at the front desk was so nice and helpful when we had an issue with charges! We enjoyed our stay and the room was clean and nice. Great location.

Verde Garden is a charming spot with a laid-back atmosphere, making it perfect for enjoying drinks and Mexican cuisine. The menu may not be extensive, but the food is delicious, especially the rice and beans. You'll find both indoor and outdoor seating options, and the interior is quite picturesque - great for Instagram-worthy shots. While you order your drinks and food at the bar without interacting with waitstaff, the staff members are friendly and helpful.
Gabriel our server did an amazing job. I would come back just for his service alone. He was so attentive even though it was busy for mother's day. The food and drinks was very good as well.

I just had brunch here, solo. They have a lovely patio, but I sat at the bar because of the heat. I was greeted very quickly, and my drink order arrived fast. However once I was ready to order food, no one was around for several minutes, maybe 8-10. I asked if chips and salsa were extra since none were offered to me. She said no charge and brought me some. I am used to that being pretty automatic at Mexican and Tex-Mex restaurants, but maybe they only offer them upon request. The salsa is very good. The migas, however, were rather bland. It was mostly chips, wth a tiny bit of pico, not much egg and not much cheese. I am used to migas being a bit spicy. I added salt, salsa, and some of the black beans that came on the side. Much better after I dressed them up. The breakfast potatoes were crispy and tasty, and I really liked the black beans too. The Verde Margarita was just OK. I couldn't sense any tequila flavor. I pushed my plates away from me and put my card on the bar, but again, it took a while before anyone came to clear the plates. It was very busy outside, but I was the only one at the bar, so I don' think that was the issue, unless the bar staff were also waiting on outside tables.

First time here and I truly enjoyed myself with my Girls! Our server, Gabriel was the absolute best! He took care of all of our needs! The food and drinks were exquisite! I had the brunch beef birria, Jamaica, and Churros!

1st time coming here. There was a wait time, but it didn't take long at all. We saw this place on Tik tok and loved the decor, and the food looked amazing. And it really was good . We especially loved the shrimp brochette as an appetizer. My husband and I shared the Del Mar. Our waiter was Gabriel, and he was very attentive and suggested things for us to try, which we LOVED!! For the Dal Mar, we had steak and shrimp. The steak was so tender and flavorful. The shrimp were good as well. I also ordered a strawberry Margarita, and my husband had the Real Ale orange drop. It was a beer that was really good. we enjoyed the beautiful and colorful decor. Everyone was super nice, and food came out hot and fresh. We will definitely be back. 😊

We got the verde margarita, el duende margarita, shrimp fajitas, shrimp enchilada, and tres leches. The food and drinks were amazing! The fajitas came with an assortment of small appetizers. The service was good and nice atmosphere. The parking was ok for the area, there is a free gravel parking lot across the street.

Food was delicious and atmosphere was very neat! Corn and guac were tasty. I had the habanero shrimp tacos and my husband had the milanesa torta. Ceviche was delicious too

What I love about Verde Garden is their lovely atmosphere and extensive drink menu. to They have a variety of cocktails, wine, beer and mocktails. In my opinion, It will be really hard not to find a drink that does not suit you here. My favorite is the Pajaro Valley. This cocktail has a nice mix of sweet and spicy. The food on the dishes are decent portions. The Pork Torta was so delicious. The Cilantro and lime rice was really good. The Birria Flautas with the beef consumé were tasty as well. The customer service from the vallet, hosts, and waiters were great. I do look forward to visiting again and trying different drinks.

Wish I could rate them 10’s across the board. Because aside from the food being a 10, the service being a 10, and the atmosphere being a 10. There were so many other 10’s to give out. I ordered tacos with a side of refried beans and I’m not exaggerating when I say they’re the best I’ve had eating out! Restrooms also a 10. Giving Buc-Ee’s restroom a run for their money. Presentation is also a 10! It LOOKED good but tasted even better! And I like to think of myself as a churro connoisseur, and these are hands down the best I’ve tasted. Will definitely come back!

Bakery
Bouchée Patisserie is a Parisian-inspired confectionery located at The Post Oak Hotel in Houston. It offers traditional pastries and desserts with a modern twist, overseen by an award-winning pastry chef. The afternoon tea experience is carefully crafted and expertly made, priced at $60 per person. While some customers praised the quality of their croissants and late-night sweets, others found the customer service lacking and suggested improvements such as adding a pick-up area for quick visits.
It has become a stable patisserie for me and my family now. The cakes were pretty, and our love for matcha were fully appreciated here. The matcha latte was rich (both ice and hot), not sweet at all (this is a Plus, since we love to taste the matcha flavor with slightly bittersweet). The cakes tasted good too. The price was cheaper than we expected for the location, decoration, and cake design. Our staff was fantastic, she made us feel welcome and appreciated. I forgot to get her name. A lovely smile and friendly service was very great to start our day. Recommending park at the valet for $8.

This bakery has desserts that are so uniquely beautiful and delicious. The coffee is also good and has a variety of options. The decor also contributes to the overall experience and is lovely for any group/gathering. However, the one concern is the customer service. Upon ordering, I ordered three Turkey pastries and instead received three ham pastries that came out cold. They asked us if we wanted it warmed and we responded yes. 1). It would have been particularly bad if we don’t eat ham, since we did not notice it was not turkey until biting into it. 2). Biting into a savory pastry with meat that you are expecting to be warm is disappointing. The outside of the pastry was almost burned while the inside was cold. Then the coffees were delivered to the table, then after we all took a sip, the employee came out and just took my sisters coffee and then said “sorry gave you the wrong one”, then proceeded to give her a new coffee. The staff all look so confused and things did not flow well and not friendly at all. This was a Saturday and at the time there was not a line but still very slow service. This could have been a much better experience.
Trisha S — Google review
Beautiful place, but the experience was disappointing. The cafe was clearly understaffed — it took over 25 minutes to get our order, which is unacceptable for a place with premium pricing. What was even more surprising was being given plastic cutlery in such a fancy, upscale setting. For a patisserie that charges top dollar, real cutlery should be a basic standard. The atmosphere is nice, but sadly the service and details didn’t match the luxury image they’re going for.
Ramin — Google review
This place is incredibly cute. The employees are cheerful and easy-going, and there are so many nice options, especially for matcha or pistachio items. I’ve never taken this many pictures anywhere but there are so many different things! The matcha items have a delicate flavor, not super sweet or rich, and it’s more a flowery matcha than a bitter one (I like both kinds). The drink pictured is seasonal and has matcha with rose whip. They call this matcha pastry a “chou chou” and the berry filling really makes it! One downside is probably the parking; I took an Uber here but I imagine it would have been frustrating otherwise. Not the fault of the establishment as it’s part of the Post Oak Hotel. If I were staying here I would come here constantly, haha.

I ordered The Ruby, Blueberry Cheesecake, Chocolate Royale, Chou Chou, and a lavender cappuccino. The Ruby – This was a beautiful bright red pastry that lived up to its name. I loved the tartness of the raspberry, which was bold and refreshing. The surprise in the middle (a firm chocolate mousse) paired perfectly with the fruit, creating a rich yet balanced bite. The flavors complemented each other so well that this one stood out as both striking in appearance and taste. Blueberry Cheesecake – This pastry felt whimsical, almost like something out of a magical cottage. The blueberry flavor leaned more toward jam than fresh fruit, which I enjoyed, though the cheesecake itself was more dominant. The biscuit base added a nice crunch against the otherwise smooth, creamy texture. A delicate purple chocolate flower and glossy plum glaze made it as enchanting to look at as it was to eat. Chocolate Royale – Unfortunately, this was the least memorable of the selection. It was mostly mousse with little else to break up the texture or flavor. Compared to the other pastries, it felt one-dimensional and a bit underwhelming. Chou Chou – My favorite. A light pistachio sponge cake wrapped in a crisp white chocolate shell, topped with a charming pink chocolate flower. It had the perfect texture, and presentation. I devoured it instantly but I would have liked more pistachio flavor. Lavender Cappuccino – I usually enjoy experimenting with flavored syrups, but this one missed the mark. The lavender was far too strong, overwhelming the coffee instead of complementing it. A lighter hand with the syrup would have made this much more enjoyable.

I read the reviews here beforehand and there were a bunch of negative reviews, though I came anyways because I was in the area. Unfortunately, the service was very slow and they did not have gelato when I came, which I was very excited to try. Other than that, the pastries are pretty but small.

I’m truly disappointed! This French pastry shop is proof that it doesn’t matter if you’re located inside the most prestigious hotel in the entire country—if your service is awful, people won’t want to come back. My daughter and I visited this pastry place. The pastries looked delicious, and since it’s located inside The Post Oak Hotel, we expected nothing but a great experience. The place is cute, with beautiful French-style furniture. You can access it from inside the hotel or from the outside. There is no self-parking; you have to valet. If they stamp your ticket, valet is $8. Everyone at The Post Oak was nice and attentive. Once we arrived at Bouchée Patisserie, there was a line—which gave us time to look at all the options: macarons, pastries, gelato, and gorgeous desserts. When it was finally our turn, the cashier was less than friendly. She seemed like she was just going through the motions. I didn’t think much of it. I placed my order, gave her my name, and patiently waited to be called. About 10 minutes passed—which felt like a bit too long, considering the desserts are ready to serve. When they finally called my name, my daughter went to pick up the order. The cashier told her the order was for “Sandra.” My daughter replied yes, and again the cashier said, “It’s for Sandra.” My daughter once again said yes, and then the cashier, with even more attitude, asked if all the pastries were for her. At that point, my daughter became upset and said, “Yes, Sandra is my mom and she’s seated. This is our order.” You’d expect the cashier to respond kindly, maybe say, “Oh, okay! Here you go—enjoy!” But no. Instead, she gave my daughter a look and just moved on to take the next customer’s order. When we opened the boxes, I realized she gave me the wrong pastry. I went back to let another employee know. She looked at the cashier, who—again, with attitude—said “Okay.” Then, the other employee just stood in place and started chatting with another employee in a suit, leaving me waiting awkwardly. After about 3–4 minutes of them talking, I asked if I could please get the correct pastry. She gave me a rude look, paused for another 30 seconds, and finally went to get it. It took her another 5 minutes to bring it out—even though the desserts are ready-made. She handed me the box and looked away with the same unpleasant attitude. By this point, I was completely dissatisfied and disappointed. My daughter and I were seated, talking about how terrible the service had been. The employee in the suit stood right next to us, overhearing everything while trying to assist another unhappy customer who also received the wrong order. In their case, they weren’t charged—but the employee never addressed or acknowledged our concerns. The pastries are good—but definitely the worst service I’ve ever received. Not worth dining in. You’re better off taking it home and avoiding the attitude.

Music was loud and extremely inappropriate. Beer was good and service was excellent; however, I would never return to this place because of the music genre played. Very distasteful, vulgar rap music started around 9:30 p.m.

New Spot try out, while I've passed this spot a number of times. It was a pleasure to finally stop in and give it a go. Over all it was a great experience and a good time. Tip: If you're sitting outside in this Texas heat, make sure a mist fan hits your direction. If you don't want to get moist, ;) don't. While the prices are on the higher side, and the valet forced on its customers. To only park 2 spots away from where you turned over the keys, is silly for $5 bucks. Loved the service, décor, & vibe of the outside. Once again if you're not a fan of the Texas Summer Heat. You may want to plan a visit in the evening. The food was delicious! It's a simple menu, with a lot of selections to meet new comers with. From deviled eggs to pork belly tacos to cubano sandwich's. The brisket quesadilla was a miss for me, but the Cubano was delicious!! Can't wait to go back to try the BBQ Board What's your favorite? How was your experience? Until next time..

If you are looking to have a good drink this is a great spot! If you are looking for anything else out of a bar this is not your spot. The bartender was rude that was taking our order and it was just kind of a boring bar. the music is to loud so you can’t talk but then again everyone is just sitting and talking. I’m not sure what vibe they are going for but it wasn’t the best.

Difficult parking bc the valet is not very clear. Not very interesting food if you want heavy snacks while drinking like I did. They have burgers and salads, fries and tot, soft pretzels and Mac n cheese - maybe I'm just not in the mood for those types or maybe the format of the menu wa jumbled and made me unhappily crosseyed. The place is big and there's loads of seating options including picnic tables, patio tables, indoor chairs with AC (!). Great if you want beer (nice wide selection) and a contemporary place to hang. Friendly staff. Good vibe but a bit loud for talking with friends. Only 2 seltzer options but I absolutely Loved the "196 Lemon" by Suntory. Paid $24 for tots and a seltzer.

Popped in here on a whim while we were in my childhood neighborhood. Absolutely outstanding venue. Impressive and very balanced (Good mix of sours, stouts, roasty/malty, and IPA taps) beer list and a mildly insane cocktail menu. Fun eats and snacks, exceptional vibe and great atmosphere. Almost has a brick and mortar food truck park feel. 10/10. Will most assuredly be back.

My friends and I we come here a lot multiple times a week for their espresso martini! It was one of the best until they change the vodka and now we just find out that they stopped using real coffee!!! This sucks I guess now we going to have to find a place where they actually make espresso martinis with Real fresh coffee those cold brews suck to make drinks!

A court yard containing a cafe/bakery, a full kitchen, cocktail bar, and beer bar. The outside seating is dog friendly so bring your pupper. The cafe/bakery has fresh coffee, pastries, and cakes. The perfect spot for a celebration. The cocktails are high end and they even have special ones. They ha e a plethora of beers to choose from as well. It's just a great all around spot that has everything. They even smoke their own meats.

Tea For Two - Finally made it to Tea For Two for brunch, and I’m so glad I did! This charming little spot is absolutely adorable, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. They served my daughter hibiscus tea in a kids' teapot, which she absolutely loved—it was such a sweet touch! The complimentary tortilla chips with cinnamon butter were a delightful surprise and so delicious. I ordered the tortilla soup, and it was amazing—so full of flavor! The egg, spinach, and avocado melt was the perfect choice, fresh and satisfying. My daughter had the mac and cheese with chips, and she enjoyed every bite. Our waitress was incredibly kind and attentive, making our visit even more special. The whole staff was welcoming, which added to the overall wonderful experience. I’ll definitely be coming back! I was so looking forward to a lunch here because I had not been in quite a while. We were greeted and seated quickly and waters brought to our table. We ordered a salad and a combo with a cup of soup and chicken enchilada casserole. All the food was very good. Unfortunately, it went downhill. We asked for hot tea and the water was just warm, not hot. Dishes sat on our table after we finished our food and were never taken off the table (our empty tea pots, empty soup cup, etc). We ordered a piece of cheesecake for dessert and it tasted old, like freezer burn and spoiled. So we told the server and she brought us a different dessert, the coconut cake, which was good. No offers of a comped dessert which I thought should have happened since they served us spoiled food. Between that, the dirty dishes that were never removed from our table, and the lukewarm tea, we were disappointed.

Prelude Coffee & Tea is a chic and airy café located in the heart of downtown, perfect for coffee enthusiasts and casual visitors alike. With its stylish marble counter and spacious seating, it offers a welcoming atmosphere that invites you to relax. The menu features an array of espresso drinks, filter coffee, tea, pastries, and sandwiches. Many patrons rave about their Flat White for its smooth blend of espresso and milk.
This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Houston! The baristas are friendly and they know what they’re doing. This is one of the few places where I’ll order a flat white because they do it right here.

There are very few third wave coffee places in Downtown Houston as well as the Houston metro. This is one of them. The espresso is fairly mild, I didn’t get a lot of distinct notes, however it wasn’t ash tray over roasted by any stretch. You know they care when they add latte art.

Great architecture! Appeasing and spotless atmosphere. I grabbed a chamomile tea it’s hard to mess up a drink like that lol, so I can’t really judge if overall the drinks are good here in general. Also had a hard time finding the coffee shop there’s no visible sign from the outside because it’s in a building.

Great cafe with low-key artsy set up and a super cool staff. I'm always impressed by how fast the folks who work here can process orders, and the quality of drinks are top notch. The menu has a few specialty drinks that are great (ex: blue jasmine milk tea). The best part is how friendly the staff is with customers and how familial they are with each other.

The atmosphere is very high end, with a large, white marble counter and ample seating. The space itself opens up into a reception area for the building that makes the place seem very comfortable and large. The cortado had a bit too much foamed milk, which diluted the coffee a bit and left me wanting something a bit stronger. The coffee itself was pretty neutral, with some chocolatey notes. They are affiliated with Blacksmith and Morningstar if you like those places. It was a pleasant experience and I would come here again to relax and talk or work. I didn't see any outlets while I was there if that is important to your studying and working.

This is hands down my favorite coffee spot in Houston. Love the downtown atmosphere. The shop is in the 609 Main Street building. Great architecture, and plenty of places to sit and kill time. The staff are friendly and efficient. I’m not even a latte person, and LOVE the Texas Honey and Cinnamon Latte! If you like amazing coffee and great service, def give them a try. I’m addicted at this point and I’m ok with that! Lol

I made my first visit to this newish downtown spot on Good Friday. I was told by another coffee fan on Instagram that I would enjoy their coffee, so I came with expectations. The baristas did not disappoint, at all. I started off with a Flat White (my preferred drink). It was simply delicious, nice and smooth - perfect balance between the espresso and the milk. Not really a fan of lattes, I decided to have one later that afternoon (I was hoping for oat milk), but stayed with real milk. Both drinks were very delicious, not bitter or sour...just a perfectly delicious taste of Greenway coffee roasted beans! I so wish they were open on weekends...
