My first & a greatest experience to watch the night sky through the lens of telescope. Saw Cirius,Jupiter & its 4 moons, proxy centauri, Thiruvathira star, hunter constellation,nebula,earth's moon etc. Staffs are very cooperative & polite enough to explain the details of celestial bodies as well as clearing our doubts patiently. Functional between 6:30 pm to 8 pm,except for second Saturday & Sunday. Make sure the sky is clear & weather is favorable, best to visit during partial moon 🌙. Rs 25 per adult.

One of the oldest landmark building under the supervision of the Kerala university and related to astronomy this great institution offers an incredible view of the night sky in all it's glory on a clear sky. The viewing is through the telescope on all days barring government holidays, second Saturdays and Sundays between 6.30 pm and 8.30 . Fee charged is nominal. The most important part is the enlightening process about the STARS and visibility and its appearance on the horizon done by Mr Rahul. A truly must see location in trivandrum for kids and adults.

Good. Except public holidays all other days it's open to public from 6.30pm - 8.30 pm. Ticket charge: 25₹. The staff is supporting n explains and sets the telescope if we request to watch any special celestial bodies as well.
