Veli Lake Tourist Village is a picturesque destination in Thiruvananthapuram, offering a serene lake with a beach, playground, floating cafe, and sculptures. Visitors can enjoy various activities such as boating while taking in the natural beauty of the surroundings.
It's a serene atmosphere where you can see the confluence of Veli lake and Arabian sea. The tourist village is well maintained with beautiful walkways and gardens along with kids' play area and rides. The floating bridge, flotilla and the floating stage are the most attractive features of the place.

This park is quite decently priced and have basic activities for kids to keep then engaged for a while. It’s lacks little maintenance as everything seems old, but still it’s a good one. Main attraction is the mini train for kids, nicely built to seem just like a real train, with station, tracks, track changing, bridge over water etc. Mini train goes all around the park. Train prices was 50 Rs. when I visited and also wait time for 15 - 30 mins. Entry to the park was 20 Rs.

Veli Tourist Village is a calm and beautiful spot near Trivandrum. The garden is peaceful with shady trees and artistic sculptures, perfect for a relaxing walk. There's also a clean park for kids and fun activities like pedal boats and a toy train. The nearby beach is quiet and scenic, great for sunsets. Only downside is a bit of plastic waste in some areas. Still, a great place for families and evening visits!

Nice place to chill and enjoy nature. The lake looks beautiful, and the boat rides are really relaxing. Kids will enjoy the park, and the garden area is good for a small walk. Sunset view is lovely. Could improve a bit on food options would make it even better. Overall, a peaceful spot to spend time with family or friends... Its a worth for the money and ride ...

A few weeks ago I went to veli but due to heavy rush I didnt go in, but this time there was no rush so we went inside veli tourist village after a long period. It looks like a lot changed. Veli tourist village is mainly for kids with couple of parks, miniature train ride, hourse ride, etc.. It's a good place for a walk with scenic beauty. The pathways and grass are well maintained. Floating restaurant was closed by mentioning renovation but cant see any renovation work going on. I saw a bio toilet but doesn't seems to be working. floating bridge also require some maintenance. In kids park also some equipments are damaged but not yet repaired. So there are some areas were no maintenance are being done.

Napier Museum, located in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, is a 19th-century architectural marvel housing archaeological artifacts, historical relics, and art pieces. The museum features royal seats with Chinese engravings, a musical bow in mahogany, colored windows, and intricately painted and carved rosewood ceilings. Situated near the museum is the Kanakakunnu Palace which was once used as a summer retreat by the Travancore royal family to entertain guests.
Napier Museum: Where History, Nature & Calm Come Together 🏛️🌿🕊️ It’s an experience that deserves an entire day to truly absorb. Spread across a huge, well maintained space, the place is spotlessly clean and beautifully organized, offering a calm escape right in the city. The museum itself is free to enter, while the adjoining zoo entry costs just ₹50, which also includes a locker facility for bags and even plastic bottles a thoughtful touch for keeping the space clean. The zoo is expansive, and right outside, a small café serves as the perfect refresher after a walk. What makes this venue special is the balance it offers: while the exhibits and zoo engage your curiosity, the grounds themselves invite you to slow down. There are plenty of shaded spots and tree-side seating areas, making it easy to pause, rest, or just take in the serene atmosphere. Despite the outside heat, the entire space feels naturally cooler, adding to the comfort. Whether you’re interested in history, looking to enjoy a day amidst nature, or simply searching for a peaceful retreat, Napier Museum is one of those rare places where you can do it all at once.

The Napier museum has several other prominent places to see like the zoo around the same area. The museum is housed in a unique building 🏫 with ample greenery surrounding the place. Excellent 👍 artifacts dorn the museum including a great collection of ivory pieces. Just outside is a collection of paintings along with a royal chariot. A canteen is also there with some good food just behind the hall with the paintings 🎨
Sunny T — Google review
The ticket price is 200 rupees for foreigners while it's only 30 rupees for local Indians, so it's almost 7 times more expensive than locals for me. But I decided to look around inside, and it's worthwhile visiting just one time while you are in Trivandrum. Most importantly, I have met so many beautiful locals who were so curious about me taking pictures together with them, what a memorable time mingling with genuinely welcoming Indian locals. Again it's a lovely wooden house containing lots of artifacts from thousands yrs ago or unknown periods etc, and interestingly I noticed they had some Indonesian artifacts too.
Pam F — Google review
Napier Museum and the surrounding garden are beautifully maintained and very peaceful. The museum building itself is stunning with unique architecture, and the collection inside gives a nice glimpse of Kerala’s history and culture. The garden is spacious, clean, and perfect for a relaxed walk or family outing. Good place for photos too. It can get crowded on holidays, and some sections inside the museum feel a bit old, but overall it’s a calm and refreshing spot to visit in the city peaceful atmosphere i used to go there for studying mornings are very clam

Step into a captivating little room where history and artistry collide! This enchanting space is alive with stunning artwork that spans centuries, each piece a testament to the incredible skill and craftsmanship treasured by rulers of the past. If you have a passion for art, this is an absolute must-visit destination that promises to ignite your imagination and leave you in awe!
Abhishek K — Google review
Napier Museum in Thiruvananthapuram is a beautiful place full of history and art. The architecture itself is stunning — a mix of Kerala and Gothic styles. The museum is surrounded by a peaceful green park, perfect for a walk after exploring. Inside, you can see traditional Indian sculptures, ancient ornaments, and rare archaeological pieces. A great spot to learn about Kerala’s rich culture and relax at the same time. Entrance fee is 200 rupees.
Alexandr — Google review
Napier Museum is a historic and beautiful landmark known for its unique Indo-Saracenic architecture and peaceful garden setting. It houses an impressive collection of ancient bronze and stone idols, ornaments, ivory carvings, and cultural artifacts. Located next to the Trivandrum Zoo, it’s affordable and easily accessible. However, some exhibits lack proper lighting, clear labeling, and maintenance. Facilities like restrooms and signboards could be improved, and it can get warm or crowded at times. Overall: A must-visit for art, culture, and history lovers — charming for its architecture and heritage, though slightly outdated in presentation.
ANANDHU S — Google review
I visited this Museum yesterday, hoping to explore its exhibits, but unfortunately, the museum itself was closed by the time we arrived. However, the trip was far from disappointing, as the surrounding grounds turned out to be an absolute delight and made the visit memorable. Located in the heart of the city, the Napier Museum’s premises are spacious, calm, and strikingly beautiful. The wide, open area is a haven of tranquility amidst the urban bustle, offering a serene ambiance that instantly captivates. The lush greenery, coupled with the historic charm of the museum’s architecture, creates a picturesque setting that feels almost magical in the evening light. What stood out was the subtle addition of music in the air whether it was from nearby performers or an intentional touch by the management, it added a soulful vibe to the experience. We saw several people, from families to groups of friends, enjoying the space, walking, chatting, and soaking in the relaxed atmosphere. It’s clear why this spot is a popular gathering place for locals and visitors alike. Despite the charm of the surroundings, there were some notable drawbacks that kept this from being a perfect experience. The amenities were lacking in several areas. There was no designated parking area for two wheelers, which made it inconvenient for those arriving on bikes. Seating areas were also limited, forcing many visitors to stand or sit on the grass, which might not be ideal for everyone. Additionally, I noticed a lack of garbage bins, which led to some litter scattered around, detracting from the beauty of the place. The number of toilets was also insufficient for the crowd, and the available ones could use better maintenance. I strongly suggest that the management address these issues to elevate the experience. Adding a dedicated parking area for two wheelers, increasing the number of benches or seating spots, installing more garbage bins to encourage cleanliness, and improving toilet facilities would make the grounds even more welcoming. These improvements could transform the area into a truly exceptional public space. Overall, spending time in the Napier Museum’s surroundings was a wonderful experience, filled with beauty, calm, and a unique ambiance enhanced by music. Despite the museum being closed and the limited amenities, the charm of the place earned it a solid 4 star rating. With some attention to the mentioned improvements, this could easily become a 5 star destination for anyone visiting Trivandrum.

Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple is a prominent feature of Thiruvananthapuram, part of a temple complex with a towering gateway and shrine to Padmanabha reclining on a serpent. The city also boasts other attractions like the Keralan Museum, Napier Museum, Kerala Government Secretariat, and various palaces and historical sites.
My visit to the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, was a deeply spiritual and mesmerizing experience. The temple’s architecture, with its golden gopuram and intricate carvings, beautifully reflects the grandeur of traditional Kerala and Dravidian styles. The darshan of Lord Vishnu in the reclining (Anantha Shayana) posture was truly divine and filled me with peace and devotion. The temple’s atmosphere was calm and sacred, and the chants of devotees created a serene spiritual vibration all around. The temple administration maintained the premises with good discipline and cleanliness, and the staff were polite and helpful. The security arrangements and queue systems were well-managed, ensuring a smooth darshan experience even during peak hours. Visiting this ancient and world-famous temple was not only a religious experience but also a moment of cultural pride. I felt truly blessed and spiritually enriched after offering prayers at the feet of Lord Padmanabhaswamy. It is indeed one of the most divine and must-visit temples in India.

The temple has fixed visiting hours — open from 4:30 AM till 12:15 PM in the afternoon and reopens in the evening from 4:30 PM. As you enter, the peaceful and spiritual atmosphere instantly surrounds you. Take some time to sit and walk around the temple corridor — it’s a truly beautiful and calming experience that lets you feel the divine energy of the place. This temple is unique, as it is the only temple in India dedicated to Lord Vishnu in a reclining (Anantha Shayana) posture. The darshan is taken through three separate doorways, and the sanctum is lit only by the gentle glow of numerous diyas, giving it a mystical and sacred aura. 🔒 Locker & Entry Rules: • Mobile phones, cameras, and bags are not allowed inside the temple. • Locker facilities are available near the entrance for safely storing your belongings. 👕 Dress Code: • Men: Must wear a dhoti and uparna (shawl). The Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple is absolutely stunning and deeply spiritual. The architecture is breathtaking with beautiful carvings and a grand gopuram that reflects Kerala’s rich heritage. The peaceful atmosphere inside makes it a perfect place for prayer and reflection. It’s also fascinating to learn about the temple’s history and hidden treasures. A must-visit spot in Thiruvananthapuram for anyone interested in culture, history, or spirituality
Praveen K — Google review
We visited at around 5-something in the morning, and I’m grateful we did. This is one of those places where you feel the sanctity the moment you step in. Dress code (very strict, please read): As a foreigner, be prepared to dress traditionally. For women, a sari is best; if not possible, wear a kurta/top with a dhoti wrap below (no stitched pants). For men, dhoti/mundu is required and upper body bare is customary inside the inner areas. Jeans or any pants are not allowed. If you arrive unprepared, you can buy a dhoti at the counter. Even the police/security were in traditional attire when we went—everyone follows the code here. Phones & bags: No phones or electronic devices are allowed inside. There’s a counter/clockroom to deposit them, with strict checks at entry, so travel light. Tickets & queues: There is entrance fee, but be ready for long queues for darshan of Śrī Padmanabha (Lord Viṣṇu in reclining form). It takes patience, but when you finally behold the black stone murti lying in sublime repose, it’s unforgettable—deeply divine and moving. Experience & ambience: Inside, the sculptures and wood/stone work are beautiful—timeless craftsmanship that speaks for itself. When we exited, some painting/maintenance was ongoing outside, so wide photos weren’t ideal, but it didn’t take away from the spiritual depth within. Tip for first-timers: Read a short history before you go—understanding the background of this kṣetra makes the experience richer. Go early, dress correctly, carry cash for garments if needed, and keep an open, prayerful heart. This isn’t just sightseeing; it’s an immersion into the living tradition of Sanātana Dharma. Verdict: A must-visit for seekers and culture lovers alike—come for darshan, humility, and a taste of Kerala’s sacred heritage. 🕉️💛

Kanakakunnu Palace is one of the most peaceful and beautiful places in Thiruvananthapuram. The surroundings are full of greenery, open space, and clean walking paths. It’s a perfect spot to spend time with family or friends, especially in the evenings when the breeze is cool and the lights around the palace look stunning. The atmosphere here is calm and refreshing — you can just sit and enjoy nature away from the busy city traffic. The palace area is also great for photography and evening walks. There’s a lot of space for kids to play, and it’s a popular place for morning jogs too. The maintenance is good, and the garden is always neat and tidy. It’s a wonderful place to relax, enjoy the view, and feel close to nature right in the middle of the city. I would definitely recommend visiting Kanakakunnu Palace if you want to experience peace, beauty, and a bit of history — all in one place! 🌿

Manaveeyam Veedhi, also known as Manaveeyam Road, used to be a serene haven for artists to gather and share their art and life stories. It was a tranquil space where painters created on the spot, poets recited verses, and musicians played their compositions with serenity. However, it has now become bustling and noisy. Despite this change, the place still holds the nightlife of Thiruvananthapuram.
Manaveeyam Veedhi is a charming cultural street nestled in the heart of Thiruvananthapuram. Known for its vibrant murals, art installations, and regular street performances, this open space beautifully blends Kerala’s traditional essence with modern artistic expressions. The lane is a peaceful yet creative corner where artists, musicians, and theatre lovers come together. Walking through the street offers a sense of calm with greenery around, while also surprising you with inspiring graffiti, poetry walls, and thought-provoking art. Whether you're a tourist or a local, Manaveeyam Veedhi is a soulful retreat into Kerala's cultural heartbeat.

Manaveeyam Veedhi is a gem blending art, culture, and community spirit in a compact, walkable format. Its unique history and creative ambiance make it a must-experience spot—especially for those who appreciate street art and spontaneous gatherings. While ambiance and cultural offerings shine, maintaining cleanliness and ensuring better infrastructure will elevate the experience even more. My child enjoyed going there

The place has an elite crowd and a classy feel with cozy ambience, making it perfect for couples. The bartenders are friendly and welcoming, offering an impressive selection of drinks. The menu includes delectable dishes like Tom Yum chicken soup and cheese platters.
Had a very good evening at this bar. The food was very tasty and the services were good too. We went there as a part of a birthday celebration and they were so nice to give us their signature cocktail as a gift to the birthday queen! The cake was ordered and cut there itself and it was a very tasty cake too. Overall We had a great time!

A great spot to chill out in the city area! The ambiance is really nice, and the staff is courteous and attentive. There's plenty of parking available, which makes it convenient. Really cosy bar with a great vibe and good music. The team managing it is responsive and overall it is a good place. However the disappointment is the food. We ordered quite a few local (nadan) dishes and the oil was overflowing which was a huge put off. We had one dish sent back too because the fried prawns felt exactly like those onion and veggie fries one eats with hot tea on a rainy evening. So mine was a mixed experience.

Amazing place and ambience. Loved the cozy feeling once you're there, the other customers are mostly an elite crowd so it gives off a good classy feel. Akkulam Tourist Village is a serene and picturesque destination located near Trivandrum, Kerala. Situated along the banks of Akkulam Lake, it offers a range of activities for leisure seekers and nature lovers. Visitors can enjoy boating, fishing, and relaxing walks amidst lush greenery and beautiful landscapes. The village features kids' playgrounds, a swimming pool, water activities, beautifully landscaped gardens, and a children's park.
Nice place for a hangout. Entry is 40rs for adult and each of the activities costs extra. Glass bridge costs 200 and airforce museum is 60per head. There are many attractions and activities for kids. It looks neat, clean and well maintained.
JOJIN A — Google review
Akkulam Tourist Village is a calm and peaceful spot located right by the roadside, making it easily accessible. It used to be a nice place to relax and spend some quiet time with family and friends. However, the place is not well maintained nowadays. Cleanliness has become a major issue, and many areas are left untidy, which affects the overall experience. If the authorities could focus on maintaining the space better, this could be a great hangout spot again.
Adharv — Google review
This is a good hangout spot if you ask me. It's good to come with your friends or your partner or want to spend some time alone. It was a quiet place and there were only a few people there. When I went there, it was between 3-4 pm so I'm not sure how it is during the late hours. It's also a beautiful place for photoshoots and all cause there are beautiful things to capture. There are also some stalls to eat and have fun playing some games. But there was one thing that I didn't like. Many of the adventure rides weren't open when I went there, and that's not the right thing considering I paid the ticket price as well.
Devand S — Google review
It's a nice place to sit and relax, especially for families and children. The entry fee is ₹30 per person, and they accept both UPI and cash payments. There’s a good play area for kids with different slides, a swimming pool, and boating facilities. They also offer several adventure activities like zip line, rope cycling, and more. However, you’ll need to buy separate tickets for each activity or combo packs to participate. The newly opened Glass Bridge is another attraction here, with an entry fee of ₹200 for adults and ₹150 for children. But in my opinion, it’s not really worth that amount, as there isn’t much of a great view when you reach the end of the bridge. Toilet facilities are available, and there are small shops inside where you can buy ice creams, snacks, shakes, water, and other refreshments. Overall, it’s a pleasant place to spend some leisure time with family and friends, especially if you’re looking for a relaxing outing.

This is a Good hangout spot for family and is very kid friendly. Entry costs 40 Rs. Adventure activities 560 rs for an adult and the new glass bridge 200 Rs. I feel the price are a bit on the higher side however you can spend atleast 2-3 hrs here. Maintenance need to be done for some rides

Truvandrum's only restobar. My wife pulled off a surprise taking me here for our 38th wedding anniversary and it was delightful. I had a Corona and a Hoegarden beer to whet my appetite. Ordered some excellent food - creamy mushroom soup, a beef pie, chicken dishes. Everything was excellent and affordable at 3000 rupees of which the beer cost Rs 900 (ridiculous but that's how alcohol is in Kerala). Great service, lovely ambience. I recommend the place.

We had a nice dinner at BLND with tasty food, good service and ambience. We especially liked the Japanese fried chicken starter and the veg starter with spinach and chestnuts. We also tried some cream soup, Rajasthani mutton with Naan and stuffed chicken breast with spinach. Everything was tasty and well presented.

Thoroughly impressed with the variety and fusion menu. I went with my family and each of us had something that suited our palate - a Kerala dish, Italian Pasta, Korean bowl etc. Meal portions are ideal and truly flavourful. Although we were full, glad we didn’t skip the dessert and shared the banana pudding - it’s a must try! Staff were polite and friendly as they made us a drink that wasn’t on the menu. Don’t know why I waited this long to try out this place! Definitely recommend ❤️

Magic Planet is a vibrant theme park dedicated to the world of magic, featuring street performances, aerialists, and a museum. Located in the Kinfra Film and Video Park, this innovative 75-acre complex offers an array of attractions such as an underground tunnel, mirror maze, shadow plays, virtual supermarket for mathematical skills development, children's park, food court, live performance theaters, and a research and development center.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Magic Planet, and I must say, it was an enchanting experience from start to finish! The moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by the warm, smiling faces of the staff who truly made me feel welcome (special mention to Miss Shamna) The cleanliness of the facility was impressive. It’s clear that they prioritize not just the fun experiences, but also the safety and comfort of their guests. The variety of shows offered is fantastic, catering to all age groups and interests. Whether you're a fan of magic, acrobatics, or theatrical performances, there's something for everyone. I particularly enjoyed the interactive elements of the show, which made it feel personal and engaging. What really stood out to me was Magic Planet's commitment to giving back to the community. I learned about their various charity initiatives, and it warmed my heart to see a business that not only focuses on entertainment but also on making a positive impact in the lives of others. Their efforts to support local charities and engage with the community truly set them apart. Overall, my experience at Magic Planet was magical in every sense of the word. Magic Planet truly lives up to its name, offering a magical experience for all ages. It’s a brilliant realization of the inspiring vision of the great magician, Sri Gopinath Muthukad. What stood out the most was the exceptional customer service. Every staff member we encountered was warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure our visit was memorable. Whether assisting with shows, guiding us around, or simply sharing a friendly smile, their professionalism and kindness made a lasting impression. A wonderful experience With family. A full day packed program. We went with children. The money we spent there is worth every penny. Children can learn a lot of things about another side of childhood where our differently abled children their entire childhood in colours instead of chaos. They grow, live, learn and earn with Magic Planet. I would recommend this place as a must visit place for everyone. Also keep in mind the shows are understandable for kids above 5 years only. The full day program includes a food and snack facility on the campus itself. Ample parking is available.

A heaven on earth! Truly touched seeing the blessed children filled with creativity and joy❤️.The place radiates God’s presence through its dedicated staff and teachers. Impressed by their punctuality, cleanliness, service, and the scrumptious food. The performances — especially by Ali Cherpulasserry, the mentalist, along with the theatre shows, circus acts, were simply mind-blowing! Hats off to Gopinath Muthukad Sir for this divine initiative. Everyone should visit this magical place — it’s a true blessing! 🙏
Amrita V — Google review
The location is approximately 20 km from the city. It's a 10 am to 6 pm program. Try to join by 10 am. The forenoon session mostly focuses on the performance of differently abled children. Stepping into Magic Planet was an experience that transcended mere entertainment. This is not just a theme park; it's a unique social experiment that is succeeding with grace and excellence. The park is a platform to empower and rehabilitate an often overlooked community—differently-abled children and street magicians. Seeing these incredible artists perform with such skill, confidence, and sheer joy is breathtaking. The work done here, training and providing a livelihood for these talented individuals, is a rare and beautiful initiative that sets Magic Planet apart from any other attraction. The park’s architecture and design are stunning, creating a truly enchanting atmosphere. Every corner of the park is thoughtfully crafted to ignite the imagination. The magic and circus sessions are, without a doubt, scintillating. The illusions are world-class, the acrobatics are gravity-defying, and the performances are delivered with professionalism and passion, keeping you on the edge of your seat. The variety of shows, from close-up magic to grand illusions, ensures that there is something to captivate every family member. Every staff member we interacted with was incredibly polite, sensible, and genuinely helpful. Their care and attention to detail, especially in managing a crowd with diverse needs, speak volumes about the place's ethos. This was my second visit to Magic Planet, and it was even better than the first. I was pleasantly surprised to learn they no longer charge for entry but instead accept donations. Honestly, I feel they should charge for such a fantastic package of entertainment. To show our support for their noble cause—empowering differently-abled children and street magicians—my family and I happily donated ₹1000 per person. The food options were simple and average: a Kerala style basic veg meal and chicken biryani. In a world full of commercial attractions, Magic Planet stands out as a beacon of hope and humanity. A full five stars and our highest recommendation!

It is a bar situated in The Leela Kovalam. Various drinks are available but the best thing about the place is the view Watching the sunset over the sea was an unforgettable experience! The ambiance, the music , and the location are the best you can get at trivandrum Forget about the budget and enjoy the experience 😉 The food variety was limited.
HaiL — Google review
My Disappointing Experience at The Leela Kovalam I have been observing this place for three seasons, and unfortunately, I can say that the quality of service here is not improving but getting worse. 1. The Beach My introduction to the hotel began with the beach, which they illegally call "private." It is important to note that private beaches do not exist in India – all beaches belong to the state and are open to everyone. However, the hotel staff shamelessly drive out locals and tourists, which is outrageous and unacceptable. India is known for its hospitality, where people are welcomed, not thrown out from a public place that no one truly owns. But if the hotel considers this beach to be “theirs,” then a logical question arises: why is it always covered in trash? Why does no one maintain it? Piles of plastic, litter, and seaweed—this is how the beach of a "5-star" hotel looks? Moreover, sewage flows directly into the sea, and the smell is unbearable. Do they really think this is acceptable for their guests? 2. The Tides Restaurant – Chaos and No Service The Tides Restaurant is a separate disaster. Booking a table there is nearly impossible. The staff simply ignores emails and requests, not even bothering to respond. Such behavior demonstrates complete unprofessionalism. When I finally managed to visit, I was deeply disappointed. Mediocre food that absolutely does not justify its price. Of course, the prices are high—it is a 5-star hotel—but that does not mean they can serve food that tastes like it came from a cheap street café. It feels like they are simply profiting off their name without making any effort to deliver quality. 3. The Sky Bar – Only a Nice View The only good thing about The Sky Bar is the beautiful view. But that is all. The sofas are covered in bird droppings, and it seems like no one has cleaned them for weeks. How can a 5-star hotel allow such a level of unsanitariness? The cocktails are just as mediocre as the food. The price-to-quality ratio is completely unjustifiable. 4. The Absolute Disrespect Toward People But the most disgusting and shocking thing is the service and attitude of the staff. I witnessed an absolutely disgraceful scene: a security guard with a stick refused to let an elderly woman use the toilet. The toilet! In any civilized country, any reputable restaurant or hotel allows visitors to use the restroom. But what is even more appalling is that in India—a country known for its incredible hospitality—I have never encountered a situation where security guards literally protect a toilet with a stick! This is beyond common sense. What kind of mindset do you need to have to think this is acceptable? I have visited this hotel’s restaurants and bars multiple times, including during the off-season, when they actually need customers. But after such disrespectful treatment of people, I will never set foot there again. Final verdict: terrible service, mediocre food, and a complete lack of basic respect for people. I strongly do not recommend the restaurant, the bar, or the hotel.

Pro's: - Convenient Location: V Bar's location within the Hilton Inn Hotel makes it easily accessible for both hotel guests and visitors. - Courteous Staff: The staff members were polite and attentive, providing good customer service. - Varied Drink Selection: The bar offers a diverse selection of drinks, allowing you to find something to suit your taste. Con's: - Ambience Improvement Needed: The bar's ambience left much to be desired; it felt dark and somewhat dingy, which could be improved to create a more inviting atmosphere. - Lack of Finesse: Considering its affiliation with the Hilton Inn, one might expect a more refined and upscale ambiance, but it fell short in this regard.

In terms of the quality of art and artists, Margi is stellar. In terms of punctuality and dedication to the art, the organization is a model. But the premises and the building itself are not well maintained. And the toilets and washrooms are simply pathetic!

It wasn’t easy to find a place in Trivandrum where they show traditional performances from Kerala. I came across this theatre online and I rang and was told to come on the same day. It’s a real hidden gem. It’s free, which is nice because it makes it available for those who can’t afford it but I would have happily paid for a ticket foreign price. It was a real treat and a highlight of my trip in Kerala. 🙏🏽😊

A tiny performing arts school in an unassuming corner of a very old building. Nearby landmarks are the SP hospital and Fort High School. Once the show starts, you're transported to an amazing land of intricate facial expressions, hand gestures and incredible percussion in Kathakali and Kutiyattom, two classical art forms of Kerala. My traveling group and I were lucky to have a lovely gentleman tell us the background story of the Ramayana, and explain how it tied into what we were going to watch. He also shared the history of the artform, saying it was at least 2,000 years old. And after the show he took us backstage to meet the performers. The school holds two performances a month, so be sure to check dates in advance!

We visited from Europe to see the traditional performance. It was great acting, costumes and singing but it was very loud which is why we had to leave early. We measured a noise level of 100+ decibel continuously due to the high speaker volume which is damaging to the ears. Maybe this can be adjusted to a lower level in the future? Regards!

The Aries Plex SL Cinemas is a superb movie theater with great sound quality and picture quality. The seating is perfect, and it's one of the best theaters in Trivandrum to watch movies. It has a total of six screens, so you're almost guaranteed to find a movie you want to see. The only downside is that the parking space is limited.
I've had the pleasure of watching a movie at Ariesplex SL Cinemas in Trivandrum. The Audi 1 (Gold seat) was great - the sound quality was immersive, and the screen size was massive, making me feel like I was part of the action. The seating arrangement was top-notch, with cushioned seats that provided ultimate comfort. The sound and screen quality were simply awesome, making the movie experience even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a premium movie experience in Trivandrum, Ariesplex SL Cinemas is the way to go!
Ananthavishnu — Google review
The theatre is great and has a large parking area. It has more than two screens, and the picture quality is excellent. The snacks and drinks they sell are expensive, but they don’t check bags strictly, even though signs say not to bring outside food. Also, the ticket prices are cheaper than other theatres with similar facilities.
Vijay S — Google review
I should have given 5 star for the theatre. But the service from the cafeteria at Aud 1 was very bad. I booked ticket and booked snacks along with it. When I went for taking it, the behaviour of the person at there was very bad and irritating. Hence I am giving 3 star. The theatre experience is amazing and great.
ANIL D — Google review
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "Good theatre with excellent sound quality and comfortable seating. Spacious parking makes it convenient, and with many screens, there are plenty of movie options. Great overall experience!"
Akshay R — Google review
Based on the excellent experience in Audi 1, Aries Plex SL Cinemas delivers a premium movie-watching experience, particularly for big-screen enthusiasts. Audi 1, often highlighted as having the biggest screen, lives up to its reputation, offering a truly immersive visual spectacle. The viewing experience is enhanced by the combination of a massive screen and reportedly top-tier sound quality, which often features Dolby Atmos technology for an enveloping audio landscape. Comfort is a major plus, with very comfortable seating featuring soft cushions and headrests, making long movie sessions enjoyable. The overall ambiance of the multiplex is good, contributing to a pleasant outing. For two-wheeler owners, the parking facility is noted as quite good and convenient. Aries Plex SL Cinemas is generally well-regarded for its technical facilities and superior comfort, making it a go-to destination for movie lovers seeking an impressive, high-quality cinematic presentation in the city.
AKHIL S — Google review
I’ve had great experiences at Audi 1 and Audi 5, and recently got a chance to watch a movie in Audi 3. I couldn’t find much information about this screen online, so here’s my take: Audi 3 has excellent sound quality, but the screen size is quite small. If you’re seated at the back, the viewing experience isn’t the best—so I’d recommend booking middle seats for a better experience. That said, even with the smaller screen, the seats were almost full when I watched Mirai (more than 2 weeks after its release), which shows how much people still enjoy coming here. Overall, the theatre offers a good experience, but if you’re looking for the best cinematic feel, I’d suggest booking in other screens like Audi 1 or Audi 5, as Audi 3 feels a bit limited due to its screen size
Saikrishnan R — Google review
One of the best theatres in Trivandrum. Parking may be slightly hectic, but enough security personnel are deployed to make it convenient to the extent possible. Will never be disappointed with Picture & sound quality and seating.

As you reach the top indoor games, Cars, shooting, archery and high risk games. Even photography point. The place exclusively for kids. To enjoy other rides you have to pay additional amount other than entry fees. Air Force museum is good. Some adventure rides are also here. Anyway you can enjoy at least 2 hours with your family and kids. Kids can enjoy more.

1. Good spot to spent your evening with families and friends. 2. It offers a children's park, Air Force Museum, Adventure activities, Water sports etc.. 3. Some of the rides are not maintained properly. 4. Entry Fee - Rs. 30 / adult 5. Adventure sports would required to take seperate tickets depending upon your choice. 6. Expect rush in the weekends 7. Parking ground is available outside the park. Hardly 50 to 100 mtrs

Totally unmaintained. Except for the restaurant boating is unmaintained. Trivandrum got the worst politicians and officials. Learn from other cities like kochin and Kozhikode. They're exponentially developing each day and were being degrading evey day by day. So sad to see this city going such a pathetic way

Ashish S — Google review
Nice place to visit with family... Akkulam Lake, the heaven of peace adoring voyagers, is arranged 3 km far from Ulloor intersection, in Thiruvananthapuram. A wonderful cookout spot created on the banks of this lake has sculling offices, a very much prepared kids' park and an oar pool. The individuals who carry on with an existence in multistoried pads and congested abodes of the swarmed city can breath outside air and have cool shower in the swimming pool for as low as 15 rupees for each head.Akkulam is a backwater tourism focus only ten kilometer from Thampanoor –the heart focal point of Thiruvananthapuram city. Akkulam backwater is an augmentation of the surely understood Veli Lake. All sorts of water crafts are accessible for the diversion of the sightseers at exceptionally moderate rates. Speed pontoons, pedal water crafts rowboats, all extremely beautiful and light even kids can deal with them with ease. There is a fortress and a castle in this spot which merit seeing. The royal residence is rich in wood… Must visit place on trivandrum

While it may be on the smaller side, accommodating up to 200 guests, its air-conditioned space offers a pleasant atmosphere for birthday celebrations and other events. The hall's affordability makes it an attractive option compared to larger venues.

Its a very primitive and outdated club with no progress. Very outdated mind set, rooms are so shabby, too many stringent outdated rules. I dont see any value for the money that you spend for a membership ( Unless you are a jobless drunkard who would waste morning through night drinking). Dont waste your hard earned money. I have been to this club just for the first time today, after we took a family membership about 2 years ago. I am so upset and disappointed to see how primitive thier mindset is, and thier approach to members. I just dump my membership. Its definitely not meant for the progressive minded. The so called prestige.....???? I had presented the member card at a few places and I realised that even smaller clubs have high respect because of their progressive mind and respect for others. What I heard from their restaurant staff is so weird that they dont serve alcoholic drinks to individual members in their restaurant if shown up Without family. Reason?? Members misbehave!!!- I heard this from TVM club staff today when I asked what this weird rule is for!! Why would you waste money for such club membership if the members do not have the culture and decorum to respect thier own members and their family!!! After all its a social group. This club according to me is still in bullock cart era and hopefully not going to see this reaching the present century. I had such bad experience that I checked out our 2 shabby filthy looking rooms and checked into Sarovar Portico Hotel. Sorry, I had a long 7 hours drive from Kochi to Trivandrum. We need a sound sleep tonite. My final suggestion.. Dont waste 1 million to 1. 2 million INR for this outdated club membership. In my experience, even the affiliated clubs respect and acknowledge several new gen clubs over TVC. Affiliated club members, please choose good and progressive clubs in Trivandrum for your stay, dine and wine....I am ashamed to say that I am a member of Trivandrum Club. I have been to several clubs and going by my very first experience today, I rate Trivandrum Club as "THE WORST"!!! Club I have ever been to.

Trivandrum Club is a calm and clean place to relax and enjoy good food. A great spot to unwind or connect with professionals in a refined setting. The staffs are polite and the overall experience is nice. But the only issue I faced was the delay in getting the food parcel. We had to wait almost an hour after dinner to receive our parcel, especially on Saturdays. Hope they can improve this part. Otherwise, it's a great place!
NIMISHA B — Google review
The lunch is really good. The kerala meals with added fish dishes provide a satiating lunch enough for the day. The tender coconut pudding is a tasty sweet dish, which should not be missed. The swimming pool is small in size for competitive swimmers, but a relaxing and hygienic pool for those reaching for exercise and relaxation. Gym has all the equipments for muscle strengthening and development. Other services like sauna and steam bath are also good. The badminton court is meant for only four players at a time. There are coaches for all these sports and can be availed for members, guests. Children's summercamp is another way for the kids to kickstart their sports life. Their are halls to conduct functions like marriages, birthday parties. One of the interesting views inside is the massive trees named and protected. Near the entrance is an old tree supported by crutches and preserved from its roots.
Athira K — Google review

I'm extremely disappointed with the customer service at Hilton Autos. Despite purchasing my vehicle from them, the support has been poor and irresponsible. Specifically: - They don't offer pickup services. - When I reported issues with my two-wheeler not starting, even with the kick starter, the customer service representative was rude and unhelpful. - They often don't answer calls or respond to queries. - After each service visit, the same issues persist, typically resurfacing within a week.

This morning, I brought my scooter to the service center for the second service, and at that time, the odometer reading was 3785 km. The scooter had a full tank of petrol and the toolkit. However, when I received a call from Hilton Autos at 2:30 p.m. stating that the service was complete, I arrived at 4:30 p.m. to find that my scooter was not in the service area. The service in-charge informed me that it had been taken for a rewash. After 30 minutes, a staff member brought my scooter. Upon inspection, I found that the petrol tank was almost empty, and the odometer reading had increased to 3800 km. I am unclear about the purpose of the 15 km driven, and the toolkit was also missing. I am extremely disappointed and shocked by this experience.

Extremely disappointed with the bike service (mt-15)I received. Not only did my bike continue to experience issues after the service, but the service provider also refused to take responsibility. When I contacted them about the problem, they casually mentioned that dust in the throttle might be the cause and insisted on adding further charges to fix it. This lack of accountability is unacceptable. As a customer, I expect a service provider to deliver satisfactory results and rectify any issues that arise as a result of their service. I shouldn't have to pay extra for something that should have been addressed during the initial service. I hope this feedback serves as a reminder for them to improve their quality of service and take responsibility for their mistakes.

Very pathetic response from the staff of hilton yamaha ulloor. If the owners are seeing this, why the hell you are running this. They won’t do pick ups or attend a complaint even in a 1.5 km radius distance. 3 days they said that staff were on live. This is new to my knowledge that the service centre is giving unlimited leave to all the employees the same time. I am no longer give any of my scooters to this place. Not anymore.. it’s time to learn some magic to start a complaint scooter so that i can bring it to the service centre thereby helping the poor handicapped technicians to stay in the service centre 24 hours.🤬🤬🤬

First of all Thanks for choosing to visit the review section before going there. Because I did a terrible mistake of doing the same. I went to buy an R15 bike. When entering inside no one cared to ask why I am there for. Then, I met a person and asked him that I want to test drive an R15 (which was a metallic red one). He gave the bike I test rode it, I liked the bike so I asked him to get me one of the same color other than the demo bike, he told me that he will be selling the demo bike to me, I asked him again that I don't want a demo bike and I want a fresh one, He refused he told it is normal to sell the trial bike. To which I refused, I asked him that I would request it with someone who can make priority decisions, but he told me none was there. And the funny part even after asking the repeated time, he didn't give me the actual price of the bike. So, Finally, I decided to not buy a bike from this showroom and went to Muthoot Yamaha and got my first bike there. Basically, You have to treat your customer the right way, any product has value and the Customer is the king, or else you are just gonna keep it without selling, Just if that person had shown basic humanity in selling that bike I could have bought from Hilton but unfortunately, this showroom is a total mess up and they are gonna lose more customers with this attitude.

I had a very bad experience with Hilton Yamaha. I went there to change the front disc pads of my Yamaha FZS. After their service, when I rode my bike, the front brake got stuck. I returned the next morning, and the technician, Rajan, misbehaved and argued, claiming it could happen sometimes. They don't conduct proper checks before service delivery. Please avoid going there; I had a truly unpleasant experience with both the technician and the service.
