The actors were brilliant and really brought the theme to life. We had a good laugh and the whole setup made for a memorable night. A couple of small things could make it even better. I thought the food was fairly average for a fine dining tasting menu compared to other places I have visited. A tuna tartare and a beef carpaccio were nicely presented but bland in flavour. The beef wellington was disappointing with the end cut of the fillet and the end of the pastry casing. Walking past the Beatles statue towards a white concrete slab wasn’t my idea of a Chinese restaurant, however, having tried a few in Liverpool Chinatown an area in which the establishments gone from good to average to very disappointing, I was willing to give it a try. I am so pleased that I did for two reasons. The first and the most important was the food more of which later. The second was the view of the Mersey which for me. They made no attempt to listen to us, I for example can only wear trainers but the staff dismissed us. We have attended multiple times in the past wearing the same and there has never been a problem. The place was clean and nicely laid out, and we were greeted with a friendly smile from the doorstaff and serving staff. It was busy with loud music, but we got a good table easily and it wasn’t deafening so we could still chat properly. Went because i was really looking forward to the Kabaret show and it was 10/10 stars. Absolutely fantastic and very very much recommend it. Food? Well, just ok, bit pricey and simple but ok I guess. Cocktails a bit pricey (around £11) but again ok. Staff? The girl that served us was amazing but the manager and the person I made the booking with I didn't feel comfortable with. I have mobility difficulties so I make sure I check either calling or in person if I can make a reservation in advance and that my needs are taken into consideration for accessibility. I was also travelling with a dog and understood based on the website that dogs are not allowed after certain times (they said because of noise, which I understand) but I still asked ahead of the booking, no expectations. The person that took my reservation said all ok, no problem with dog and would have a booth with view of the stage. When I get to my booking on the same day, I'm stopped outside by security, told I'm not allowed to go in with the dog. I explained and got to speak to the manager who was super sceptical about the booking details. She informs me there are no details of my booking requiring accessibility and the dog being allowed. I said, bluntly, that it was not my business if the employee did not take note of those details and that I had informed them of the circumstances and, should it had not been possible to bring dog or have view of the stage that I would have booked elsewhere and no issue at all as it's understandable each business have their policies (I always expect no dogs allowed just in case and plan ahead for that reason because it's not down to me to decide or impose but still asking is not bad if you're unsure). In the end, I was granted access and dog was allowed but the whole experience (and several remarks about whether I was describing someone that actually worked there and that I was to make reasonable decisions for my dog, which was frankly quite overbearing and snobbish attitude from the manager) affected nevatively the beginning of the night and frankly I'd only go back for the shows and nothing else. Concerning that no details about accessibility were taken upon bringing this up ahead of booking either. My dog was perfectly fine, slept through and actually met the performers, who loved her, but I can understand not all dogs do well with sound and that was the warning. Still, would be nice for managers to let the decision to owners and pets and trust that if something doesn't quite work out owners would be responsible enough to look for a better option or altogether not even think about booking.

Greeks very weird going in but the restaurant is beautiful. The view is absolutely fantastic. The staff are really friendly and the food tastes lovely. I could have eaten much more! The interior isn't like any other pub around but it's all very original, it feels slightly Arabic in looks. There are multicoloured lampshades and inverted umbrellas hanging from the ceiling. There's also a table that's screwed to the floor with very ornamental swing seats either side of the table, which I would imagine would be great fun when you've had a few pints in you. We all complained to security and expressed how we were mistreated and felt discriminated against - only for security to go ahead and ask their fellow staff (who pushed my friend) to give details of what happened and come back telling us the stories do not match. Only got told manager will look into this and investigate. A guy who was claiming he is one of the managers approached us outside the club and apologised and said it will be investigated. He asked to follow my friend on Instagram and started promising to give free club entry for next time. I asked my friend to decline this as it does not solve the main issue here. We eventually left the area after complaining about the mistreatment we went through. Very very disappointed in the way the staff work. No sense of customer service or professionalism towards their customers. Working in a club where you mostly come across drunk people should not give staff the right to mistreat customers.
