Excellent service, very warm and friendly. Attention to detail, even with distinct cutlery for each diner depending on their order. Frequent visits to the table to top up drinks. The waiter misheard our order for an appetizer but apologized and returned with the correct item quickly and without making a fuss. The location was stunning, over the water, at a marina - with a hole in the floor to observe marine life (if the water weren't so muddy.) Having said all that, the food was mediocre. The "Cajun" seasoning lacked flavor and was basically a tomato salsa. Rice and beans was a disappointing accompaniment to the catch of the day, and the tostones lacked flavor or seasoning. The pumpkin Parmesan risotto was nice in flavor but rather gooey in texture, and a dab of butter in the center seemed an odd pairing. The birthday cake was automatically added to our bill because we said it was a birthday, and it was as dense as shortcake. Not what we were expecting. We ordered two glasses of wine, but he brought the bottle to our table. When he poured a third glass to finish the bottle, we were charged for a 3rd order of a glass of wine rather than being charged for the bottle. All in all of was a pleasant evening of being well looked after, but the quality of the food would keep us from returning in a hurry.

Cute place at the marina. Food was good and service was excellent. Willy has good recommendations, was very nice and accommodating. I got the coconut shrimp - was good but different than what I'm used to. The eggplant parm appetizer thing was so good we got a second portion. (We don't recommend the calamari.)

One of the best experiences we’ve had and definitely the best during our visit at Punta Cana! Willy was the most attentive, knowledgeable server and his kindness continued even after our dinner helping us make sure that we had transportation to go back to our hotel. The food was delicious! On point with the flavor and portion size. Willy also made us a special cocktail after we shared our preferences and when we come back, we’ll ask for the Willy’s special. Our favorite the octopus and the risotto!

Nice place to visit. Unfortunately, getting uber back to your destination it’s difficult. We had to get in a taxi recommended by one of the staff. I was little bit scary, but i trusted what my mine was telling me. Good thing, the texi driver was nice and friendly.

It was an amazing experience, I really enjoyed it, there was a great atmosphere, the staff was so professional specially Mr Yoanny and Jean Carlos. If you planning a birthday celebration, a proposal, etc … I recommend this place at 💯 %, I will come back soon. 🔜

Large family group and we all loved the restaurant. Very kind staff and delicious food. It wasn't quick, but that's ok and sit back relax and enjoy the island! Drinks were enjoyed by all, as.they graciously will make any cocktail a mocktail (and appropriately priced). Windy

Great restaurant on the water and away from the resorts/hotels. Great service and selection. Dominican Snapper with multiple choices of sauce were all good as was the Pineapple Shrimp Risotto and the Coconut Shrimp. Highlights of the appetizers were definitely the eggplant w/ plantain and ceviche. Lastly the single leches for dessert was amazing.

Overrated and Unsafe – Think Twice Before Going! This place is seriously overrated. It was dangerously overcrowded — people were crammed in like sardines, especially around the entrance where the only bar is located. In case of an emergency, there’s no clear way out. It felt like a major safety hazard. They advertise it as an “open bar,” but there’s only one bar and it’s practically inaccessible. I couldn’t get a single drink without pushing through a sea of people. The show itself is decent — the dancers and production are good — but nothing has changed since I last went to Coco Bongo in Cancun three years ago. Even the music was the same, which made the whole experience feel stale and repetitive. Save your money and go somewhere you can actually move, dance, and enjoy yourself safely.

The procedure to get a ticket is really unnecessary, takes a lot of time and is not convenient or efficient. All presentations are amazing for the mezzanine you can really enjoy the whole performance perfectly, the actors, dancers and all performers put a lot of effort for that incredible act. On the other hand, the place is so full that makes it impossible to get out, the people are soooooo push into the bar that you can barely breath no safe the quantity of people they put in this place. Honestly there should some kind of limitation or regulation. The cocktails were fine, and the food was regular.

Atmosphere was great. Loved the show a d the energy was unmatched. Definitely would not go for food but I think that's the point. Drink were pretty weak as well. But again excellent show

Must see. Great show. Not really disco. But lots of fun and amazing entertainment. VIP package not needed. Not so special. Only if you want to sit down.

Where do I begin... it was a catastrophe from the very start! 1. Zero clarity on where to line-up to check in and then zero clarity on where to line-up to enter the venue. 2. Venue reps constantly harass you to purchase "skip the line" tickets at $15. 3. MASSIVELY overcrowded to the point it's a mass casualty incident waiting to happen. 4. Impossible to see the show if you're on the ground floor and near the centre stage. Absolutely no view of the upper stage whatsoever. 5. The acts lasted only a few minutes each. 6. The drinks are watered down. The rum had barely any taste and the vodka with mixer tasted like juice. 7. The PUSHING! I was moving from the toilet past the stairs towards the bar so I could get back to my friends. A security guard pushed me away from the stairs so I shouted at him "I'm going that way" and pointed at my friends. A second security guard then pushed me away from the stairs again as I was trying to make my way through the crowd so I turned and pushed him back (almost got myself kicked out). He shouted something at me in Spanish so I got closer to him and shouted "do NOT PUSH me" in his face then turned and moved away. If you really want to go, then maybe spending more money on an upgraded package/ticket is worth it.

Updated review. Now it's only open on Fridays and Saturdays. If you're a guest of the resort you can get in free only if you get there before midnight. No drinks are allowed from the resort so you have to pay. The clubbers i saw were the same people you see all day around the resort. Stays open to 4am. Basically one of the few nightlife options you have at the Hard Rock. I wasn't impressed.

Was staying at the Hard Rock Resort and dropped in twice, on Halloween and the following Saturday night. Overall it's a great looking space with fantastic staff/dancers. Unfortunately both nights we attended it was dead (no real party crowd) and most of the space was blocked off for VIP. It was a bit disappointing. DJ was solid (though the music was not my style).

The Restaurant has an absolutely beautiful location with a fantastic atmosphere, view and top-tier service that makes you feel well taken care of. While the seafood we ordered was unfortunately overcooked, the mozzarella sticks were delicious, and the chicken Caesar salad hit the spot. Overall, it’s a great place to enjoy the vibes and views, even if the food was a bit hit or miss.

Beautiful atmosphere near the beach. As a visitor of D.R., I would definitely come again. Food , appetizers and drinks were excellent with presentation, our waiter Dario was courteous and helped us with suggestions.

Our dream wedding! If you are considering hosting your wedding here, don’t walk - RUN to book with Farah and her team. After MONTHS of frustration dealing with the resort for our wedding another bride told us to contact Jellyfish. We are so glad that we did. The resort we originally booked at clearly felt entitled to our business and charged absurd premiums. Instead, Farah and the Jellyfish team CONTINUOUSLY earned our business and trust. From the moment we (very quickly) heard back from them we had zero doubts that they could be trusted to take our wedding seriously and be responsible for our most important day. Farah is a PROFESSIONAL and unmatched talent in wedding planning. From beginning to end the process was seamless, stress free, and an incredible experience. We didn’t have to worry about a thing. Our biggest decisions were, “which amazing menu should our guests have?”. Farah handled everything and made planning our event actually fun. This is the experience you THINK you should get at an all inclusive. Instead you get it on the beautiful beach at Jellyfish. Our wedding was ‘only’ 18 people, which other venues struggled to provide appropriate suggestions for. This was not at all a problem for Jellyfish. We were given the second floor all to ourselves and they cleared the beach for our ceremony and dance party. It felt like we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. Farah even arranged for an absolutely stunning suite next door so my bride and her bridesmaids could get ready. Oh and the food? Every single guest said it was the best meal of our weeklong destination wedding trip. We cannot recommend Jellyfish enough for events. You will get an incredible experience at a great price. If you have as incredible an experience as ours - please remember to tip. Farah and her team need to keep doing their incredible work. I can see Farah going incredibly far in this career. Good lobster with butter and garlic sauce, but a little overcooked. There is no place to eat inside, and we asked to change tables because leaves, flowers and insects were falling from the plants above. We took advantage of the sun loungers and parasols on the beach, which were included with lunch, but when we asked the first waiter, he told us it wasn't possible. The second waiter was very kind and brought us our personal wristbands. Prices were a little high, but it was a nice experience. The beach was very clean and well worth it. In the evening, when everything is lit up, the place is very romantic. The road to access and the parking were awful.

Service was amazing. Our waiter Dario made sure we where set and have a wonderful evening overall the food was 100 and the service was a 100.. would definitely come back.

I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday at Jellyfish Restaurant, and Sandy made the entire experience unforgettable. He was attentive, kind, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. From his warm smile to his thoughtful service, he truly made us feel special. The food and atmosphere were amazing, but Sandy’s outstanding service is what made the night one to remember. Thank you, Sandy, for making my birthday celebration so wonderful! If you’re traveling here on vacation, I highly recommend this restaurant. However, please make sure to take cash, as all restaurants require a service charge fee of 28%.

Didn't think it would be as good as it was. The food was amazing. The service was a bit slow, but well worth the wait. The atmosphere, the decor, right off the beach, intimate areas (perfect for proposals). It is definitely a must if you visit Punta Cana. The food is fairly priced.

Very good deal! We paid $200 for a poolside, covered, bungalow and that $200 went toward food and drink credits. There's music, wifi, and power outlets. This is a great place to spend the day. There are 2 pools and beach access. It gets crowded at 4 so I recommending arriving before 2 unless you like crowds.

I went to Pearl with some girlfriends and absolutely loved it. The seaweed was a problem but I liked Pearl because it also had a variety of pools for us to enjoy! Very delicious food and drinks as well. The cabanas were fabulous 🤌🏾

I like this place I’m visiting often for more than three years. It’s a nice oasis far from the noise and hustle, compared to the other Punta Cana beaches. It used to be $30 for a person and now they rise it to 50$ for a minimum consumption. Which is OK in most of the cases but sometime I want to pass for one or two hours just not enough time to fulfill the $50 minimum requirement. It’s always been music at the pool area and sometime they organize, dancing and other events. I don’t know why lately they moved the the DJ and the speakers next to the beach chairs and it’s very loud. The previous way was better.. because people are trying to relax at the beach area and now I cannot make conversation with my friends just Too noisy. This just come back maybe from there complaining the noise cannot sleep used to be better. I give three stars for the service for the reason that the waiters trying softly to cheating in the check.. so visitors ask for your receipts and check out what is in there. Despite of that, that’s my favorite place in the area.. in one of the important things the management responding to most of the comments . It’s nice to know that your opinion is being taken..

Great place to chill out and enjoy the beach. Swimming pools are also available. Good is of good quality and choice for everyone. Service is great, waiters are friendly, prompt and speaking english.

This place is amazing, the beach is great and the club is well maintained, clean and full of amenities like 2 pools, beach access and the restaurant. I guess I was just so unlucky because when I went there they had no FISH/SEAFOOD at all… only the fried fish available. Of course form a beach club you expect to have lots of seafood options, but having NONE from the menu, was quite disappointing. Service to be improved definitely; the guys on the Beach are doing a great job, but they need to be more attentive and know what the guest needs. I waited more than 10 minutes to receive my cutleries for the fish, to then eat it cold. If you arrive by Uber there’s a gate, show them your reservation and they’ll open for you. Once leaving the club, check with the security to let your Uber coming in to pick you up.

We called ahead to make a reservation 4 times. They answered and hung up. By the 5th call we had to get our front desk to make the call for us because they clear only respect locals. One person told us it was open for food and no reservation needed. So we spent money and went. The guard at the gate told us reservation only & they were only accepting old people ???? We asked to speak to a manager and he waved us off. Tourism clearly come here regularly. So as a tourist destination please figure out how to have staff who can communicate properly. Or just keep it for Spanish speaking guests. Very frustrating!!!

Took advantage of the taco Tuesday special. Had the Al Pastor taco which was enough. I would have been hard pressed to eat a second for sure. I also included a couple of classic margaritas. I will definitely be back for more. On the beachside of the restaurant is the outdoor bar and seating area. They have some couches which will fill up in a hurry. Seating at the bar and also by the beach is in high demand. Worth the wait to sit there for sure.

Service is an issue. No one cares, no one welcomes, or interested to serve some food or drink options. We came in for the special pizza offer, got denied, still placed an order; waited for 45 minutes during absolutely not busy time. Food was ok, asked for salt; gave me “something” mixed with dirty rice in a used beer bottle that doesn’t work so I have to make wholes with fork in the cork. Dissatisfaction

Nice little bar that sits on the beach, with a beautiful view at sunset. Bartender made a great B-52 shot and we had the tacos. Not familiar with the neighborhood but always use caution when in unfamiliar territory.

Thank you for such a great time! It was our first time here and everything was amazing... the margs and food was 10/10. Also the ambiance of the restaurant is beautiful. Our server, Massiel was the best! She took our pictures and made sure we had the best time!

We ate here tonight and enjoyed it! The service and atmosphere was on point! The appetizers and most of the tacos were amazing. The only tacos I didn't enjoy were the pork belly and El Pastor one's. The flavor was good but the meat was burnt and hard. I thought there were toothpicks left behind. Besides that, we tried all the other tacos and they were amazing! We will definitely be back in the future! The margaritas are great also! We tried all 4 of them. Highly.l recommend!

Onnos Restaurant and bar: I recommend it 100%. From Customers Service and food they are 10/10. Our waitress massiel , Dora and General Manager John provided us with good accommodation with we’re a group of 17 people.

Really cool spot, not far from where we were staying at the St. Regis. Blue Grill had a nice selection of wines and we enjoyed the sushi and champagne.

We didn't know what to expect, as this was our first night in The Dominican Republic. We were absolutely amazed! Great food, wonderful service. We had pad Thai, calamari, and a calzone. All of them wonderful! We topped it off with a magic mushroom. Highly recommended! Great mix of food choices. The service, though, that was most impressive. It got a bit windy and started sprinkling and the manager asked if we would like to be moved further up under the building. My wife needed to use the facilities and one of their staff literally walked her to and from, back to our table. Just fantastic service. Highly recommended!

We went for lunch and plan to return again for the dinner menu. Everything we had was delicious. My husband gets Sushi everywhere and said it's some of the best he's had. The view was outstanding. My burger was cooked to perfection. The ceaser salad was on point.

We decided to go to Blue Grill for lunch and dinner. I feel that the lunch menu has great selection. Everything we ordered was delicious. The dinner is also good while the dessert menu is excellent.

Outside there’s quick food to get like burgers it was good. The club is in a cave. Women do not wear heels the ground is slippery $60 -$75 unlimited drinks good music turn up

Great place and very original. Unique experience, loved it. One thing. The sub they use for transportation, St. Moreno. Bad. Our driver, Miguel, on the way home even though we paid in advance tried to leave us behind because there was a large group of guys offering him more cash under the table to take them to prostitutes. It was a fight for us to get our seats in the bus. No cool. Beware if that service. The nightclub needs to do something about it.

The music is great. The DJ is great too. But the atmosphere is very hot and uncomfortable. There are people from all over the world. I also didn't see any emergency exits in the place. Smoking is allowed inside the club, in the middle of the streets. The people, what I found strange. The cigarettes mixed with the lack of air conditioning in the place are quite annoying. The bar tenders are quick to serve. There are plenty of bouncers at the club

This club is very unique and definitely keeps the girls that at “working” trying to rob people out with their entry fee. The little burger shack right before the entrance has food that tastes so good that I almost bought another burger! Inside you’ll fine 2 rooms and a lot of places to take pictures.

Great atmosphere, very fun.

We booked transportation from Imagine and it picked us up from our resort and took us back at 2:30am for 24USD so we didn’t have to spend insane amount of money on Uber on the way back! But they did pick up other people from other resorts on the way there so it took us 2 hours to get there! The place was very secure and worth going to. No food but there was a dude selling burgers right outside and after partying for 4 hours straight, the burger felt like heaven! Lots of Spanish music which was not surprising at all but they did play a little pit bull and J-Lo so it wasn’t all bad! The dancers were very entertaining and I loved the dude on stilts who made videos with everyone and made everyone feel included!

No food. Nice place. Good atmosphere. Get the premium drink. Watch out for the sky high Uber prices afterwards but it’s not Imagines fault. Get the app inDrive. Don’t use Uber at night. Use a fair amount for where your going.

Beautiful family friendly restaurant. The staff is very helpful and welcoming. The dishes are a bit on the expensive side but they are well executed and presented. We especially enjoyed the ceviche, shrimp cocktail and the pecao frito.

Wonderful place to have a beachy lunch! Sweet staff, good drinks, and bug menu. They were very flexible and changed my drink and main course for me as a vegetarian! Thank you! Only negative was that the dish my husband wanted was out (Mahi sandwich) but they had it as tacos.

Great lunch.we ate steak with fries, red snapper with grilled veggies,tuna tartare and salad. we paid $180 for 2 ( for me that is expensive) but food was delicious,(we share dishes) great service and beautiful beach.

Nice quiet beach, not too busy with some bars and restaurants available. Calm waves and soft white sand with tiny little crabs in the water aggressively cute. The only inconvenient is the seaweed which is present sometimes after an offshore storm, excepting this is an excellent beach.

We loved the catamaran, they really made it fun for everyone. They even stop in the center of the water and let you hang out in like 4 feet of water. They provide drinks. Side by side excursion is what it's called. The staff was super great!!!!

Playa Blanca Resturant is a top pick of mine when i come to DR. One of the best restaurants on the beach for the price! Food is amazing and service is great! Only problem i have is they rudley asked us to leave becuase they were closing. Otherwise fantastic time at Playa Blanca. The beach was covered in seaweed and not a good beach in my opinion!

We have been all day there. Definitely it isn't best place in Bavaro but once you can try it. Biggest problem this place is you not allowed going in by motorcycle. Doesn't matter which motorcycle you have. We parked well , got taxi 10 dollars one way. Same taxi took us out. Little hi prices for drinks , depend on drinks 😜, meals ok. Beach isn't best definitely, just my opinion. I would suggest others beaches of Bavaro. Totally we happy!!! Vision, resorts!

Was beautiful. The absolute most beautiful beach I've ever been on. The weather was perfect. Now let's talk about the food. The hamburgers were AWFUL. they are the hamburger in my adult life that I didnt finish. No one at our table finished anything they ordered except the fish, it was good.

A Culinary Gem with Outstanding Service! Herman 311 Bar & Restaurant completely blew me away! From the moment we walked in, we were treated like VIPs thanks to the incredible service from Angelo and Ruth. They were attentive, personable, and made the entire experience feel warm and memorable. Now, let’s talk about the food, wow! The grilled octopus was perfectly charred, tender, and bursting with flavor. I’ve had octopus in a lot of places, but this one easily takes the top spot. The paella? Absolute perfection. Rich, aromatic, and packed with seafood, each bite was better than the last. And believe it or not, the chicken Caesar salad might’ve stolen the show. It was hands-down the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly grilled chicken, crisp romaine, just the right amount of dressing, and those house made croutons were next level. Whether you’re local or just passing through, Herman 311 is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back — and asking for Angelo and Ruth by name!

I took my family to Herman 311 for seafood and we were pleasantly surprised to find that it was part of a steakhouse right next to it called Kaboclo. We ordered from both; a massive Tomahawk and a lobster fresh from the sea as well appetizers and sides Everything we ordered was delicious. They had a large outdoor dining area with music and beautiful ambiance. We asked to move inside when my daughters started to feel cold from the evening breeze. The interior dining room was even more lovely with classy decorations and large mural of flowers and an giant octopus. The icing on the overall experience was the great service provided by our server, Voja, who gave us great recommendations and kindly explained the food to us. He genuinely made us feel welcomed. Can't really go wrong with this beautiful restaurant.

What a wonderful place to eat! The service was perfect, very attentive, and gave us recommendations and some things to try on the house. The food was flavored well and tasted delicious! We started with the Classic Ceviche and a Caesar salad, both great choices. For our main, we shared the tomahawk, cooked to perfection with a wonderful chimichurri. We paired it with a great Argentinian malbec. This was a great intimate spot. It is combined with another restaurant. They have a great wine selection and a full bar. I very much recommend it!

11/10 Angelo was our waiter and did an amazing job. Food was also 11/10 chefs kiss. Highly recommend. Not the cheapest place I’m sure but not over priced and definitely worth every penny.

Decided to venture off from resort food and try something around the area. Service and food were amazing. I had Lobster and my wife had grilled fish (whole fish). Food was on point. Our server Richy was very attentive and pleasant. Lots of sitting outside and lots of wine. Lol. Would go back.

Everything was amazing! All of the waiters were great and the lobster was spectacular! A special thanks to Jonny for making my birthday one I'll never forget. Safe area, I definitely recommend this place for solo travelers.

We had high expectations and our experience was okay. Food took a while to come out, we could’ve done for a walk and returned… and the taste was just not there for the price. Service was also fine, but nothing stood out, unfortunately. What made our experience better, was meeting Angel and Swarmi before we left. We would’ve stayed longer at the bar for them to take care of us.

Cheviche, seafood pasta and red snapper were all very fresh and delicately prepared. Very sophisticated and well presented.

I am not sure how this restaurant has this high rating. We had a party of 10 and the food took almost 2 hours to come out. Additionally the pasta we ordered was raw and the paella was burnt on the bottom. It is extremely disappointing to them charge such high prices for a very low quality food. I would skip this and spend money getting a private chef for a much more affordable price.

The best restaurant in Punta Cana, in an elevated setting. Elegant but not pretentious, elaborated but light in cuisine, I recommend Bamboo without hesitation. Everything is on point, from the service to the presentation of the dishes, which are all excellent. I tried only seafood but I am sure the meats are top of the game as well.

The person responding to messages on their Instagram account is extremely impolite and speaks with a noticeably condescending tone. On top of that, they’re charging $20 USD per person just for entry—complete madness, honestly. When I asked about the fees, not only did they dodge the questions, but they also responded in the most dismissive, superior manner, as if I was bothering them just by asking. Also, don’t be fooled by the photos—Api Beach looks nothing like it does online. The water isn’t what you expect, and worse, the place actually smells bad. We left immediately. It seems some of the criticism is misdirected at Maralia, the neighboring restaurant, rather than the quaint beach bar that is Api. Api Beach is simply stunning. It’s also very quiet and felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. It was paradise. The food was ok (we had a couple of fish burgers) but the cocktails were good. The waiting staff were excellent - very attentive and lovely to talk to. The pictures for this review will say it all. Don’t miss out on your own slice of the good time! Infinity pool, quiet beach and cocktails brought to your sun bed.

Api Beach is one of the establishments within the Cap Cana super complex in Punta Cana. It is a beachfront bar that offers drinks and snacks. For nonresidents or tourists who want to visit the Complex, they must make a reservation, pay an amount, and consume. A QRC is then regenerated giving access. The waitress who served us was very friendly and the atmosphere was very good. Unfortunately the beers were warm.

Cap Cana is lovely to explore and we ended up eating at Api Beach a couple times. It's a nice restaurant within Cap Cana and the perfect lunch or cocktail stop. The beaches around here are stunning and feel very private. You're sitting right on the water with a beautiful view of the water. They have a pool as well as direct access to the water right there. The menu is quite varied and they had several option for me as a vegetarian. The portions are quite generous as well. The food wasn't mind blowing, but it was pretty good. Service could have been a bit more attentive, but overall felt like a real, relaxing, beach side restaurant

SCAMM ALERT!!!!Zoho Beach Club in Punta Cana was by far the worst experience I had during my trip. The staff was incredibly rude, completely unwelcoming, and made us feel like we were an inconvenience from the moment we walked in. The food was terrible—low quality and definitely not worth the inflated prices. The views were nothing special, totally overhyped. But the real scam started with the bill. They charged us half the total in mysterious taxes and added fees we were never told about. Then, they had the nerve to tell us that if we wanted to use the benches, we had to spend even more money. Basically, whatever price you see on the menu—TRIPLE IT—that’s what you’ll actually pay. And somehow, they’ll still try to squeeze more out of you. This place is a ripoff disguised as a beach club. Total scam. Avoid at all costs—there are much better and more honest places in Punta Cana.

Came here for my friends 40th Birthday celebration and dinner. Staff were friendly and the food was good! Staff was very accommodating !

We went there for the happy hour but the place was relatively empty so we decided to stay also for dinner. The food was very good, the paella and the seafood spaghetti were very tasty, even though the bottom of the paella was completely burnt, so we could not finish it (it happened for both the paellas that we ordered). Other than this it was a very positive experience. The staff was very kind, and they even let us choose some of the songs to put on the speakers.

We started our food tour here, what a treat this place was story-book amongst story-book locations. Right on the beach with the warm yet refreshing sea breeze chilling the senses and inducing a since of calm all while the DJ hammers out the hits. The raised wooden plank platforms are a bonus for eating on the beach without eating the sand. Like all places we encountered the staff were nice welcoming and spoke as much English as we spoke Spanish, I know I have to do better, the few words we knew made all the difference. We tried and appetizer that was a fried chicken ball type item. It was decent but honestly the ambiance makes this a must try. Oh yeah there is also an additional tax with the meal and service, I akin it to the tax levied in Miami Beach, at the time of our visit 1 dollar = 58.75 pesos.

A very nice place for a light breakfast. I had the yogurt fruit and granola. Good coffee. Outside seating was nice but they do have air con inside if that’s your vibe.

The restaurant had English speaking staff, but they put a person to serve us that couldn’t speak any English whatsoever. All the appetizers in the main course came out at the same time. In the tuna steak was supposed to be medium rare and it was well done. No apologies. They just don’t care bc they know you are a tourist it seems. There is nothing gourmet about this place. I’m never do reviews but I had to bc this place just doesn’t care.

This is place is def a good spot to stop at. They sell all kinds of food. Burguers, pizza, sushi. I went ahead and tried the shrimp tacos and they were delicious! I totally recommend to try this dish. Prices are pretty good versus quantity

Had lunch here yesterday. Worst service EVER. After an hour waiting for food, our waiter had disappeared. We went to the kitchen to tell them we had to leave, we were late. They were SUPER rude. Wouldn't take the cost of the food off the bill, and instead put the garbage food into boxes and made us pay for it. It clearly had been made an hour earlier and was ruined. We threw it away. We went back later when we had more time to explain that we shouldn't have been charged, but they didn't care at all. Suddenly they also spoke no English. Complete rip off place. Locals all eat here, but visitors should stay away. They hate us.

Food was good. But they changed us 1.6x more than on the menu and tried to explain there was taxes we didn’t know about included. Do not go here.

Nice place to have lunch or dinner. Big portions and not bad flavours. Best burger was classic smash. Do not take tuna tartar- its terrible! Regarding tuna- tartar was chopped in too big pieces(~1.5cmx1.5cm), there was way too much mayo/sauce and the tune itself had a bad taste. My wife ordered a dish with tuna 2 times and unfortunately both times it was bad.

Fantastic service! We hardly ate that day so was very grateful to find this fantastic place that also had vegan food. Since we didn’t speak Spanish, someone who spoke English took our orders as we had to request for vegan food. We ordered onion rings and grilled veggies that were super delicious to say the least. They also had a vegan chickpea/bean burger that I wasn’t a big fan of as I love spicy food more. But overall, great place, really kind people to serve and nice vibe as they had some live singing going on! Highly recommend!

This hidden gem is close to the airport and near other shops. Affordable food and amazing taste. Intimate small setting. I had Fried shrimp tacos and a salad and was beyond satisfied.

If I could give this Wendys 20 stars I would. The location went above and beyond our expectations. The staff was friendly, helpful, and kept the restaurant clean. Wendy's in Punta Cana is top tier! The place is clean, the staff is friendly, and the food taste like Wendy's used to taste like back in America (years ago). I worked at Wendy's as a kid and the atmosphere brought back memories. This is a far cry from a different fast food chain that we went to in downtown Punta Cana. Great job Wendy's!

Wandy at Punta Cana Airport really stands out. Maybe it’s the hustle and bustle of the place, but the food always tastes better there. Even in Santo Domingo, the experience wasn’t quite as impressive as at the airport.

We stopped into this Wendy's location just to try it out while on vacation. It was great! I dont know what it was but the food tasted better than back in the US. Even my girlfriend said the nuggets seemed different. Maybe they just take more care in prep idk but it's worth a try.

My wife and I were so thrilled to visit a local brewery while we were here! Our resort only had a single beer so we left for a day to try just about everything La Fábrica had on tap. The servers were really kind, there was a wide variety of beers, and after trying about ten for flights we settled on our favorites for larger pours. Would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys a pleasant taproom.

Incredible place. Very modern and tourist friendly. The staff was excellent. They didn't have many of the beers ready for drinking, but went to the back to get samples so we could at least try the ones we wanted to. Many of the beers were great, much better than the generic Dominican El presidente beer that you get everywhere

I loved the place. Loved the ambience. They had live music while i was there. Its your typical brewery. How ever the only thing is that at the closing time they shut down the lights of the place while the guest are still sitting at tables rather than just -let them know- the place is about to close. Found it kind of rude. After that superb!

My girl and I like to visit breweries when we travel. We couldn't resist leaving our resort with the "Dominican Water" Presidente lager to try a local brewery - Cervecería Punta Cana. We came in on Sunday afternoon and the place was pretty quiet. It has a very cool feel, a large TV and stage. There were 12 beers on tap with a variety of styles to choose from. We tried a couple different IPA and pale ales and were pleased. Hat's off to Cervecería Punta Cana, a diamond in the rough if you're thirsting for a cold craft beer in the Dominican Republic.

I had an absolutely incredible stay at this resort! From the moment I arrived, everything was seamless—beautiful surroundings, immaculate rooms, and top-tier service. The entire staff was friendly and attentive, but I have to give a special shoutout to Charley. Charley went above and beyond to make sure our experience was perfect. Whether it was offering great local recommendations, helping us get set up for activities, or just checking in with a warm smile, Charley’s hospitality truly stood out and made our stay unforgettable. Charlie was a great at his entertainment and keeps you very informed and personable (he knew us by name) the swim up bar is the best victor martinez, Louis and Oscar were great and there is a young lady (la ruvia) she was my buddy and was so good at her job! The over all stay has been great, the food the service and the hotel. Previously I’ve been to all inclusive resorts and have something to compare it to. One thing they can improve on is the attentiveness of the staff, the only person who really cared about my wife and our drinks was Charly. Charly is attentive to everyone and checks up on everyone to make sure they are well.

Everyone was so nice but special thanks to Arismendy for being the best butler anyone could ask for, and Charlie was the best activity director ever. Charlie was always making sure everyone was enjoying themselves. They both made my stay so enjoyable. This resort definitely aims to please. The resort was very clean. The food had its ups and downs. There were dishes that were outstanding and some not so much, but I would say this is the only takeaway. I definitely recommend staying at TRS Cap Cana. Loved my swim up suite.

So outside of the resort attractions, this was the place that was recommended to us by our tour guide and other than another spot this was the place to be in Punta Cana. We had security around us in our little VIP, highly recommended to enjoy a good time. Bunch of craziness all around but fun overall experience! I would buy bottle service, it’s just much easier than going to get individual drinks at the bar. Service was a bit slow but we knew what we was working with. I would definitely comeback but with the same amount of care and experience as the last time. The hookah was on point 🙌🏼

Food is expensive Cash Only and not good, but good when you drunk eating. Hookah is USD 30$ cash or card plus card fees.

They're was no cover to get in. Played a variety of music, DJ kept the crowd moving. The bartenders... CHEF'S KISS!! Attentive and accommodating. I don't like that they have to split all their tips, I really wanted the two people who waited on me (the young lady that worked the register on the right and she had a dark skinned runner 08/17) to get THEIR tip.

Gets super busy, would definitely recommend coming earlier on weekends if you want to sit. They played really good music the first time i went was such a vibe, great place to enjoy with friends. The second time I went it was just mainly rap music which was kinda odd when people wanted dancing music. But nonetheless still a great place would highly recommend.

Restaurant looks quite Italian but the music is loud and not that nice. It’s a bit hot inside. Service is good. They serve cocktails but not frozen drinks. Their minestrone soup and the mixed fritter are super delicious. The starter bread basket comes with yummy dip. The pasta is also good with the choice of spaghetti, rigatoni or penne. Aribata as well as meat sauce are a bit tangy and delicious. The seafood has a sauce which is a bit too thick and overwhelming. Grouper is a bit overcooked. Overall I still enjoy the food there. I went there 2 times.

Before we were seated, we got complimentary mimosas 🍹. The food was tasty and well-presented. The service was slow, though. Overall, it was a nice dinner, but not the one that you will remember for years. I'd rate it 4,5, if it was possible.

Great service and the food was good. My meal was a little dry but overall very nice. Both starters were very good though and the dessert was quite good too. Definitely one to choose when you have your 7 choices to make. Maybe a little more options to pick rather than the few and a small selection of pizza. After all Italian cuisine is massive in comparison.

Arrived 30 minutes early, our mistake! Accommodated and taken to the table! Got given water and choice of drinks, had a nice white wine. Waiter arrived to take the order, didn't realise the menu was on the QR tab on the table, so obviously not ready. Only gripe really, wish we'd have been told, but not to worry, had the wine topped up and chose what we wanted. Had a good range of food across the 4 of us, absolutely no complaints! All very tasty! I had the Carpaccio, soup, arribiata pasta with chicken. Not a raw meat fan, just saw beef and had 1 too many rums! Tasted amazing, so if it's your thing go for it! Texture wise, it had a texture of raw meat. Absolutely no complaints about it at all, very nice, just not for me. I can be funny with mushrooms at times, it's just a texture thing. Main of arribiata with chicken was delicious, gave the family a taste, all said that's what they're having next time, so I guess we'll be going again with no objections from me! It's on the list for the final night meal, which is a big thing... Well for us anyway! The staff were amazing, very friendly, funny and engaging. Tried to offer us 2nd dessert which we politely turned away, but lovely staff! Got one pic of the food to prove I ate raw beef... If its your thing, you'll enjoy. Seen a few negative reviews about this place, but absolutely fantastic! Will be back with additional reviews to follow 🥂

My chair was wobbly, but got exchanged at the end of the meal. The welcome drink was not offered until we asked. The antipasto buffet was not offered until we asked, and then it lacked utensils to pick the food. Our main course, grouper, came out late, however it was excellent. The desert, tiramisu was overly sweet, tasting more like marshmallows with some dark sugary goop at the bottom. We scratched it off our list for the next vacation.

How do you make reservations for this restaurant? I have a stay at Sanctuary Cap Cana, and the concierge, that is who make the reservations, just communicate by e-mail & is aggravating that they just say is not available & dont offer any alternative time/day during our 5D/4N stay. I called & concierge don’t have a phone option not even for the guest to call them. We're about to cxl our stay that is 1st week of August, because all-inclusive just to go to the buffet is not what we have on mind.

It’s a little outdated and we arrived at 12:40 am on a Wednesday night and it was empty. They say it gets going at around 2 am. It’s inside the Casino building. If you are staying at a participating resort, you don’t have to pay the $10 cover fee and you are entitled to two free drinks.

Way more than I expected. The lighting, the music, the fun. The crowd was a little younger than I'm used to, being that I'm 43, but it was cool. I can say I did that.

Although the casino is a little outdated the club is big enough and it has space to dance, private areas for get togethers. Good music. Good drink specials and friendly and good looking personnel.

If you want to goto a different nightclub that actually remind you of a nightclub in America than this is the place to be. Coco bongo is more for tourists. This club is inside a casino and there are plenty of security. Club starts up around 2pm. Typically the first spot is Drink Point then Legacy.

Drink to price, all sit are only for VIP, water cost $6. DJ great. But didn't enjoy the drink price.

Since we went right after Fiona hit most to all the other places were closed. We went here three nights in a row. We felt really safe here but it does come with a price. Make sure to tip the guards and you are good. I felt like a king while I was there. The music was ok not the greatest. The service was good. The drinks were ok as well.

We ate at the sports bar more than we ate at the a la carte restaurants. We found the food to be on par with bar food back home in Canada, especially the wings, they were excellent every time. Since no reservations are required you have to expect to wait slightly longer than the other restaurants for your food and drink, but it was not unreasonable. I believe this restaurant is available for the luxury bands as well as grand aquamarine. Thank you for your excellent service all week!

We went there a couple times after the nightly show and to watch the New York Giants game and we had fun. The drinks were good, we didn't eat because we had dinner earlier, since everything is included we just left a tip for our server

We had to try here after hearing about the wings. We dropped in after experiencing the DR Independence day celebrations at the village (which were amazing), the atmosphere was good, and the service did its job. We order the mozzarella sticks, which are the best I've ever had! Large, cheese and delicious. The wings were great, but the MEAT wings were better. Perhaps we had a dud order. They lacked the crispy-ness of the MEAT wings.

Loved it. I must admit, however, I've seen it very quiet during previous visits. But when the resort has many American and/or Canadian tourists, you can count on a nice atmosphere and a great place to enjoy sports (and some drinks)...

If you enjoy memorable appetizers then come here. Other than that. The service is absolute dog. Terrible terrible service. If you order something just be prepared to wait for at least 50 minutes. It is unacceptable that a freaking hot dog takes over an hour to bring to your table. Not to mention being ignored and forgotten about. Absolutely ZERO checkups. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. Dope spot, stayed down the block at Jewel Hotel and walked to this place for the Casino.. Noticed they had a night club and decided to go in.. DJ was good, played a bit of everything.. I went with the premium payed drinks because those all inclusive “house” drinks don’t hit.. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good night life..

This nightclub & casino is a part of Be Live Collection Adult Only Resort. Pretty spacious, good sound system and lighting. Complimentary to resort’s guests, plus there’s open bar between 11PM & Midnight. Being a nightlife regular, I recommend bringing more of modern club music, like house, techno, trans or at least top 40. With all due respect to local culture, merengue and bachata won’t attract or keep your guests inside.

We passed by the Casino in the way to the Disco. The Disco has a great layout with a second balcony area and a fairly big dance area. The bar was fully stocked and the drinks were generous. The DJ was probably the best thing about the venue, great music selection. Unfortunately they allow people to smoke everywhere inside, so there is very little fresh air in the Disco and Casino. Come early and leave early before the Smokaholics start their habit.

Horrible service, guests who pay a huge amount of money for their stay are expected to pay for drinks after 12:30am at their Club. I have been to numerous resorts that are "all inclusive" and have NEVER been asked to pay for drinks. It's ridiculous for them to expect guests who pay over $200 a night for drinks at an overpriced rate. I could walk down to the snack and get a FREE tequila sunrise however to enjoy this drink at the club I am expected to pay $8. This is absurd and was NOT advertised on the hotel site. If I would have know this I would have never booked this place.

Loved the vibe. The people that live in D.R. made us feel welcomed and taught my family some spanish moves. My only comment would be the DJ should play a variety of Music. Even the Dominicans that live here were sitting down. Also they should keep up with the American music. Alot of the music was from 2q006-2010. Genre's to look into (Soca, Dancehall, Reggae, Kompa, etc.)

Came by for the afternoon with the family. The water wasn’t as clear as other beaches & had a lot of seaweed. The service was great and so were the drinks. There was no pool, we travel with our 18 month old baby who loves to go in the water. I would say it’s a good place to go have lunch and enjoy some drinks.

A strong 4 star for this little beach restaurant. Service was friendly and attentive. Be careful to stay on the front side of the menu, the back side gets expensive. I recommend the Ensalada Nova. Quite unique and tasty twist to a ceviche. Take a really nice ceviche and add seaweed on the top and a tasty sauce drizzled all over. The tacos were pretty good too.

We came here looking to enjoy a nice meal and were seated at a cabana. We sat there for almost 15 minutes without anyone greeting us, bringing menus, or even acknowledging we were there. It was just me and my boyfriend, and we felt completely ignored. Eventually, a woman came over and abruptly asked, “What do you want?” I told her we hadn’t even received menus yet, so we didn’t know what to order. She came back with an attitude and told us we had to pay $100 just to sit there, which made no sense—especially since no one had mentioned that policy beforehand and we were clearly there to eat. What made the situation worse was seeing her be friendly and welcoming to another family nearby who spoke Spanish. The difference in how we were treated was very noticeable. I ended up calling my mom, who I’m visiting, and she was able to understand what the staff was saying. She told us to leave, because based on what was said, they clearly weren’t being respectful toward us as visitors from the U.S. As we were leaving, we saw the same woman laughing with another staff member—it honestly felt like we were being mocked. This experience was disappointing and disrespectful, and I would not recommend this place to anyone visiting from the U.S.

Clean and airy restaurant in a nice location at Bavaro Beach, Bibijagua section ni front of the beach. Food is very mediocre: tasteless cod croquettes, superhard calamari fried with a very thick breading, pulpo a la gallega very soft and without salt and without paprika🙄. And at least 2-3 times more expensive than other good restaurants in the area. Would recommend only for drinks. Skip the food.

Worst seafood we have ever tried. We ordered their "parrillada a la brasa" (3.500 dominican pesos = $59) expecting grilled seafood and fish. Instead, we got burned, raw and "dirty" food (mussels had something that felt like sand and weren't cleaned before cooking). We just enjoyed the shrimp (halfway pealed). The salmon was raw and the "lobster" only had good meat in the tail, the rest was black like rotten meat (not burned, the calamari was the one a bit burned). I never leave a review, but this "dish" felt like an insult knowing that it costs $59.

I’ve been here so many time’s including celebrating my birthday, it’s 2nd September and Hurricane season so it’s typically quiet just now, we have also had an eruption of thick seaweed so difficult to swim, they are trying to clean it up but it’s mostly a massive manual job. In the height of the summer break it’s fantastic, iff you come by car it’s 4 pesos and that’s returned off you eat .

Our visit on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 6:30 pm, was already special as it marked the final night of our trip (a honeymoon delayed by three years due to life, finances, and kids). The staff didn’t know our story, but they didn’t need to; their hospitality made the evening unforgettable. From the moment we were seated, we were warmly welcomed by Saiter, our main server. Our lighthearted chat (with me practicing “Hola, ¿cómo estás?” and proudly responding “Bien”) set the tone for a friendly and engaging dinner. After enjoying our appetizer, the restaurant surprised us with a house special (on the house)! It was a thoughtful gesture that made our last meal on the property even more memorable. Ibania and Yerelin, two absolutely wonderful servers, assisted Saiter throughout the night. Their bright smiles and attentiveness made us feel genuinely cared for. Though we don’t speak Spanish, the language barrier didn’t matter; hospitality and warmth transcend words, and their excellent guest service spoke volumes. Having worked in the hospitality industry at a prestigious company, one of us knows what great service looks like, and this team exceeded expectations. It was a particularly windy night, and since the restaurant is quite open, the staff calmly adjusted shutters to keep guests comfortable. Their proactive approach and seamless execution demonstrated both professionalism and care. And, of course, the food: everything was perfectly seasoned and delicious. The desserts? Decadent and indulgent, just the way we love them. A huge thank you to Saiter, Ibania, and Yerelin for making our last night at Bahia Principe so special. Wanted a break from the buffet at the Aquamarine so booked a dinner here. Not the best out of all the a la cartes I could have booked but not the worst. Got the tostadas to start, the shrimp fajitas as my main and the pineapple crumble for dessert. Not sure if it was because it was shrimp rather than a different meat but was disappointing. It's located in the beach "food court" so had to take a trolley bus to get there. Awful. I actually can't think of a time I have eaten worse food. Tasteless and bland, no spices to be found, and I am British!! I do not understand these 5 star reviews, claiming it is the best Mexican food ever, either we are eating at different restaurants or they have never had proper Mexican food, I think the latter is the most likely. The appetiser Nachos were pitiful. The seafood vuelve a la vida was a red liquid mess. The Pork Tacos were sloppy and tasteless. The Chicken Fajitas were burnt and lifeless. My wife and I both order the Fajitas and they both looked different! How can you get Fajitas so wrong? The service was no better than the food, nobody looked like they wanted to be there and it took 15 minutes to get any service. After 3 courses my wife and I were still hungry, as the portions are tiny, so we ended up at the buffet Palmyra, along with one other couple we recognised from Tequila, so it was not just us. Atmosphere is also rubbish, so noisy, you can't hear yourself think, nevermind talk to anyone the otherside of the table. Do not eat here. Real rating 0/5 if I could.

This Mexican dining restaurant is also open space concept with no walls, so the mosquitoes eat on you as you dine here, honestly the only thing good here was the chicken wings and ribs and table service.. The chef cannot cook a steak to save their lives.. Ordered a medium steak and got some overcooked un-edible garbage, my son said he tacos was stale, apple crumble dessert was all soggy and not crispy.. Probably very old stock..

I think that's cheeky, but that's just me. By way of background we took our family six to the Margaritaville JWB Steakhouse in Nassau and it rocked so we had big expectations. I ordered the chicken and mashed potatoes because I can and I sure am glad I did. Rotisserie chicken ... Mmmhmm... so good. It was HUGE!! I shared some with my husband because there was more than enough. He loved it too. When asked about his steak - It was meh.

Wonderful steak dinner! The atmosphere is a little upscale and the service was impeccable. Santiago recommended the octopus appetizer and it was amazing. It was tender, had a beautiful chimichurri on it. We would definitely eat it again. He also recommended the chocolate fondant cake with ice cream--GET THIS! The rum ice cream is so light, like nothing I have ever had before. We were very happy with our evening.

We dined at JWB on one of our last nights at Margaritaville we had reservations at 7 and we were seated within minutes of arriving. The wait staff were incredible, Sandy, Carlo, and Franklin waited on us. They did an immaculate job making sure that we were well taken care of, no glasses went empty, and no one left unfulfilled. If you are attending Margaritaville I highly recommend you dine here and be served by those three incredible men!

Great food, wine and overall service and experience was fantastic. I ordered a medium New York cut steak and it was delicious. My husband is allergic to shellfish and they asked about his allergy a few times to ensure his food was correct which was comforting. This is advertised as the High End Steakhouse at Margaritaville, requiring reservations every day but while we were here we dined twice at this restaurant and it was never at capacity which means there's no real need for reservations. Service was very slow and not very attentive. Food was not 5 star. The temperatures of our steaks were not correct. Portions for all the sides are tiny and meant for a kids meal. The skirt steak was good along with the Onion Soup. Out of all restaurants at Margaritaville this is one of the only ones I'd recommend but lower your expectations because this is not a 5 Star Restaurant.

Overpriced for - broken A/C, no sheet on the bed, no pillow cases and no towels in a bath. Staff is unresponsive to any complaints.
