Bavaro Beach, located in Punta Cana, is a popular and stunning destination known for its calm turquoise waters and pristine white sand. This beach offers kilometers of fine white sands, crystal clear waters with turquoise blue tones, and lush vegetation including long rows of palm trees along the coast. Visitors can enjoy various activities such as sailing, snorkeling, and diving.
Visited twice in the past 2 to 3 years. Very nice. Open to the public. I walked here from Hotel Punto 4. 45 minutes. Lots of resorts.
IamCook C — Google review
Very pretty beach with white sand and palm trees. There is a nice swimming area with many restaurants, shops and water activities close by. We really enjoyed our time here!
Jessica N — Google review
Stunning. The colour of the water is why we travel for 10hrs on a plane to the Carribean. A lot of resorts, water sports, bars and restaurants around. Basically everything you need. It's a must visit if you traveling to Punta Cana or DR in general.
Krasimira V — Google review
These pictures are from the resort Paradisus de Melia in Punta Cana. I loved the resort and this beach in Punta Cana.
Lejla V — Google review
It's a nice beach and a little calmer than the Atlantic side of the island.

This is by far the best beach I have ever been on !!!!!!!! Most beautiful, water crystal clear & bath warm 😇😍🥰

Juanillo Beach is a stunning and serene destination located in the exclusive area of Cap Cana, Punta Cana. It boasts a long stretch of fine white sand, shallow turquoise waters, and rows of palm trees that create a picturesque tropical landscape. The beach is ideal for families with children due to its calm and protected waters, making it perfect for swimming and relaxation. Visitors can access the beach through the gate of Cap Cana or enjoy public access during the day.
The beach is wonderful, with an area in front of the Juanillo beach club that includes a server for ordering drinks and food. The restaurant starts service around 11am. The drinks were really good. I ordered a coco loco and beers. The beers were super cold. As for the beach, the water is crystal clear, warm and the beach was basically sargasso-free which is something I liked. I would recommend going early around 8-9am to get the best spots right in front of the ocean for the most relaxing experience.
Isadora M — Google review
We went there in the end of August and we have noticed a lot of sargassum. Now, I know sargassum is a worldwide problem, but we only saw the beach being cleaned up once a day in the morning, so by afternoon it is full of sargassum again. I saw other places doing more about it. It certainly did not feel luxurious. Another thing I disliked is that they clean the sargassum but they dump it at the beach entrance, so it smells really bad doesn't matter where the wind is coming from. Also, many places of the beach is actually made by concrete and not sand, it is hard on your feet and you may get hurt if not wearing appropriate shoes, and it also creates a virtual sensation about the beauty of the place. Last but not least, this is a private beach dedicsted to Cap Cana residents, to get in you either gotta pay or be staying inside the condo.
Ricky S — Google review
Absolutely stunning! Clean, not crowded and the water crystal clear. It's a paradise. a bit windy but nothing crazy.
Victor M — Google review
One of the most beautiful beaches on the whole island. A MUST visit🌴🌴Absolutely stunning!
Krasimira V — Google review
What was a last minute/quick weekend trip ended up being the most needed restful beach day that I could've spent. This beach was amazing. Please if you're ever in PC stop by and spend a day.
Shanique G — Google review
Beautiful relaxing atmosphere. Great food. Good service. I enjoyed it. But, unfortunately, I have to be honest. I was very upset when the bill came. Reason being and I WARN you, they tagged our food with a 28% hike above what is on the menu. And this is aside from the ITB tax and the automatically added tip. Highway robbery, I’d say. I dont mind paying whatever price as long as its same on the menu. It was not a seasonal or non-priced item. Just be aware. Sorry CapCana. Not a nice way to make money.
Maritza G — Google review
The beach was beautiful. The beach has white soft sand. There were cabanas to sit or lay under for shade. They had servers available to guide you or bring you food and drinks. There were bathrooms available. The water was barely cool. They have a swimming area that is blocked off from the waves of the ocean. We found some rocks and coral. One of the larger rocks had plants growing on it with a couple cute little white crabs and a snail.
Nicole B — Google review
Great beach! Not too busy, always somewhere to sit/lay, provides great shade options, and the bar/food options are delicious. The staff are very attentive and will lead you to seats that are open. We had the same waiter 3 days in a row, and he was amazing. Highly recommend Juanillo Beach

Arena Gorda Beach is a popular destination in the Punta Cana area, known for its relaxed atmosphere and palm-lined white sandy shores. The beach offers various water sports activities and has a calm vibe, making it an ideal spot for leisurely sunbathing or swimming. Additionally, the surrounding area features Plaza Artesanal Blanca, which houses a supermarket, restaurants, commercial offices, and entertainment options for children.
I have been 2 times here. Always beautiful beach, and wonderful memories, beautiful moon at the beach
Maxim G — Google review
This beautiful piece of paradise is in the best location. There is a lot of seaweed on the beach. People can take a nice walk to different areas. Tourist could go to the gift shop. Take a look at the shipwreck in the water on the resort. Drinks are not available at the beach. People can get their drink at the pool area.
Joe S — Google review
This beach is amazing but it’s PRIVATE!!! You must be in the resorts or eat at the restaurant as a member of the public to gain access. So you will have to spend to use it…
Bianca R — Google review
Arena Gorda is a beautiful beach, especially at sunrises. There was some seaweed, but the hotel we were staying at (Bahia Principe Grand Punta Cana) did a good job cleaning it. I believe most hotels do. We were staying at our hotel at Punta Cana for two weeks. As we really wanted to see the difference between the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, we explored 6 more beaches (including famos La Romana, Bayahibe, and Boca Chica) on a rented car. We didn't really feel the big difference between the ocean and the sea. We haven't been to Saona, though.
Natalia P — Google review
Great Beach, what can I say more. Beautiful moonsets at night.
Johan O — Google review
Amazing sunsets at night, but extremely busy and tight during the day Not much room to move around.
Lawrence — Google review
Way too much seaweed on the beach but I guess a lot of countries around the Caribbean were experiencing the same. Couldn't swim at all and didn't even hang out there because the seaweed smelled. A truck was coming by scooping it all up.
G V — Google review
Great view. Beautiful beach, great for swimming. Offer water sports and yours. I did parasailing and it was awesome. The guy with me in the picture is "Cubano" and he's very helpful with the water sports! The view from above is pretty cool.

Cabeza de Toro Beach is a hidden gem located on the eastern edge of Punta Cana, often mistakenly grouped with the entire Southeast region. It's renowned for its crystal-clear waters, making it a popular choice for swimming, snorkeling, and diving. The beach offers a serene and romantic atmosphere, perfect for leisurely strolls along the shore followed by refreshing drinks or delicious meals.
The town of Cabeza de Toro in the east of the Dominican Republic in the Punta Cana region has a beach of the same name that delights bathers, like all beaches on the coconut palm coast, with fine white sand, turquoise water and high palm trees. The shallow water is particularly suitable for families. Cabeza de Toro means "bulls head". The beach takes its name from the bird's eye view due to its shape. The ambience on this beach is a little quieter than on the other central beaches of Punta Cana. Bars and restaurants are only accessible to hotel guest and are therefore no incentive for outsiders. The hotels around Playa Cabeza de Toro are particularly popular with package holiday makers and travelers who want to spend a wonderful beach holiday. Directly on the beach there are sports facilities such as beach volleyball or beach football and for your convenience there are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas again only for hotel guest only.

Playa Macao is a picturesque beach located just a 30-minute drive north of Bavaro Beach. It's renowned for its clear waters, palm trees, and fine sand, making it one of the Caribbean's best beaches according to UNESCO. Unlike other nearby beaches, Playa Macao is open to the public and lacks all-inclusive resorts. The strong waves make it an ideal spot for surfing, with a surf school available for beginners.
best beach in the area. clean, beautiful, big waves, a bit of shadow everywhere. not too many people who wanna sell you something. my bf and I had so much fun. parking coast about 300 pesos tho..
Pi_kasso — Google review
Nice free public beach….free if you bring your own chair or towel to sit on. There is a fee to rent a lounge seat. We were charged $20 USD for 2 seats for the day. But the beach is lovely. Lots of waves but shallow to swim & wade in the water. It was pretty crowded but still very enjoyable. Especially considering that most beaches in the northern coast area are full of seaweed right now, just the peak of summer. There are a few vendors at entrance and we only noticed one food option, but it was delicious! Cold drinks, seafood platters, fries and such reasonably priced considering you’re paying for the convenience. One of the coldest beers I had on the island! Taxis hover around the area so not hard to find a ride, but they can be pushy. Overall a good afternoon.
Wailym C — Google review
Beautiful beach. That was the last stop on our buggie trip and was worthed to stop by and enjoy the view. I wish we've had enough time to go for a swim. The water looks amazing and inviting for a swim.
Krasimira V — Google review
A stunning beach with palm trees, soft white sand, and gentle waves. A great place for relaxing and swimming. There wasn’t a bunch of seaweed like some of the other beaches around Punta Cana. There are also a few places to get drinks and snacks as well as chairs and umbrellas to sit under. I highly recommend a visit
Jessica N — Google review
Visited during an excursion. The beach itself is nice. The views are beautiful. But the water is not blue, it was brown, of dark color. Surprisingly, there were not any sargassums there. There are many annoying souvenir vendors. The restrooms (toilets), have no accommodations. The doors would not close, the lockets are stolen and broken, the bulbs are missing, you can see only wires, even the flush buttons are stolen, it is dirty, it is ghetto. Even if you come there, there is no way you can find a place to change your clothes.
Rose D — Google review
It's a beautiful beach with wide sandy spots and calm waves. It can get crowded but if you walk to the ends there are fewer people. Parking closer costs money but farther away there are limited free spots. There are bathrooms and lots of places to buy drinks and souvenirs.
Michelle M — Google review
Beautiful beach. Lots of local families enjoying a beach day. Places to get refreshments. A few vendors but they weren't pushy.
Lisa M — Google review
The beach is beautiful, in comparison to other beaches around the Dominican Republic, I give it a three-star review because while you do not have to partake in renting beach chairs, umbrellas, or even purchasing the food... I wanted to; however, the prices they list are all in dollars and in many instances are far more than prices paid in the U.S. and wv n in Japan where I just traveled from. Additionally, if you pay via credit card you will pay between 10% and 25% additional charge. While I wanted to support the local economy, I do not appreciate being taken advantage of with these ridiculous prices placed on what is supposed to be a public beach. A comparison between Bayahibe and Macao, places Bayahibe prices much more reasonable than Macao prices.

Playa Blanca Beach, also known as White Beach, lives up to its name with its sparkling white sand. This romantic setting offers delicious restaurant options and excellent resorts right on the beach. The entrance fee is around $30 - $50 per person. It's a great spot for families as the shallow waters are perfect for kids, and it's also popular for kite and windsurfing.
White sand and very beautiful beach. The entry cost 50€ for adult and 20€ for children. It includes food and beverages (Just for The maximum amount you already Pay to enter). The restaurant open at 12.30

Playa Blanca in Punta Cana is a beautiful white sand beach with crystal-clear turquoise water🌴✨ It’s peaceful, clean, and perfect for relaxing, swimming, or enjoying fresh seafood at the beachfront restaurant 🍲 A great spot to spend the day and feel the true Caribbean vibe. Highly recommended! ☺️ ‼️ If you’re not a Punta Cana Club member, you’ll need a day pass, which costs about $50 and can be arranged at the entrance.
Елена М — Google review
If you want a no fuss quiet beach, this is it. The beach only has a restaurant, but be cautious on their hours. But the views and water are fantastic
Large W — Google review
Came by for the afternoon with the family. The water wasn’t as clear as other beaches & had a lot of seaweed. The service was great and so were the drinks. There was no pool, we travel with our 18 month old baby who loves to go in the water. I would say it’s a good place to go have lunch and enjoy some drinks.
Stephanie O — Google review
Playa Blanca Beach is an absolute gem! Having visited numerous beaches across North America, Europe, and the Caribbean, I can confidently say that Playa Blanca ranks among the top. The shallow waters, proximity to corals teeming with fish, and expansive stretches of white sand create a picturesque paradise. The azure waters and perfect temperature make it ideal for swimming and relaxation. A must-visit for beach enthusiasts seeking natural beauty and tranquility. We will go back again next year!
Iulian B — Google review
There is too much seaweed on the beach and there are no public showers or toilets, but there are parking spaces.
Shirley — Google review
Beautiful, quiet beach away from the crowds in Bavaro. $40 dollars for entry goes 100% towards consumption and is very easy to meet, as the prices in the restaurant are pretty pricey. Staff was friendly and respectful. Drinks were delicious as well as food! Worth every penny!
Milana M — Google review
Very nice beach. Sand is perfect, the staff is kind and attentive. Not alot of chairs to go around but they let us bring in our own foldable carry on your shoulder chair. Good food and good drinks. We visit often weekdays weekends and on NYE (expensive and no food that they advertised... great DJ music and open well drinks)

Beach
Cortecito Beach, located in Punta Cana, is a bustling and lively coastal spot known for its soft white sand and crystal-clear waters. It's a popular destination for tourists looking to enjoy water sports, sunbathing, and swimming. The beach is surrounded by resorts, restaurants, shops, and bars offering a variety of seafood and international cuisine. Unlike other beaches in the area dominated by large resorts, Cortecito Beach maintains its small-town charm with an old fishing village nearby.
A perfect beach for a delicate sunrise photoshoot: serene mornings with few people, a gentle breeze, and the soft glow of the sun rising over the ocean.
Photographer V — Google review
Playa del Cortecito is the brother of Playa Corales. Both are part of Playa Bavaro. if you walk from Corales, its hardly 10 min walk to Cortecito beach. While Playa Los Corales takes advantage of the wide palm-lined stretch of Playa Bavaro, Playa del Cortecito has a different approach as it is quite narrow. waves can reach to shop’s steps but photos are insta worthy. It is known as the beach with local bars, and it does offer many bars and clubs among its white palm trees with craft cocktails and music. However, this enables a couple of super cool beach bars right at the ocean. Onno’s (bar and music) and Captain Cook (seafood restaurant) are famous among locals so it is the perfect hangout spot if you’d like to connect a bit with the Dominicans (usually resort-workers) around here. This is also a hangout spot that enables you to connect with local culture. This beach is known as the spot to start a long beach walk. Entrance: Google search for Onno's Punta Cana / Bavaro and you will see the entrance when you reach there. Parking: some guy will stop you at the entrance, and he will guide you. Parking Fee: As per guard wish ;) try 50 or 100 D.Pesos

Beach of the Grand Palladium hotel complex. Beautiful white sand beach with a good balance of palm trees and small huts to find shade. Great place. The only downside is the countless itinerant vendors who come and go. A no is not enough, you have to spend the week saying no to them, it's really a nuisance. We were sleeping, and a woman woke us up to offer us a massage. Really annoying!

Beautiful family friendly restaurant. The staff is very helpful and welcoming. The dishes are a bit on the expensive side but they are well executed and presented. We especially enjoyed the ceviche, shrimp cocktail and the pecao frito.

Wonderful place to have a beachy lunch! Sweet staff, good drinks, and bug menu. They were very flexible and changed my drink and main course for me as a vegetarian! Thank you! Only negative was that the dish my husband wanted was out (Mahi sandwich) but they had it as tacos.

Nice quiet beach, not too busy with some bars and restaurants available. Calm waves and soft white sand with tiny little crabs in the water aggressively cute. The only inconvenient is the seaweed which is present sometimes after an offshore storm, excepting this is an excellent beach.
Catalin L — Google review
We loved the catamaran, they really made it fun for everyone. They even stop in the center of the water and let you hang out in like 4 feet of water. They provide drinks. Side by side excursion is what it's called. The staff was super great!!!!

Playa Blanca Resturant is a top pick of mine when i come to DR. One of the best restaurants on the beach for the price! Food is amazing and service is great! Only problem i have is they rudley asked us to leave becuase they were closing. Otherwise fantastic time at Playa Blanca. The beach was covered in seaweed and not a good beach in my opinion!
Robert A — Google review
Beach was good, a little bit weeds in places. Service on the beach was poor, over an hour to have return for drink refills. In the inner seating area for food. Octopus with mushrooms and grilled veggies was excellent! Calamari was tasty. Cheese burger was good. We spit all dishes between the two of us.

Arena Blanca Beach, located about 45 minutes from Punta Cana, is a laid-back destination known for its clear waters and opportunities for paragliding. The beach is lined with all-inclusive resorts and offers a mix of white and golden sand, perfect for relaxation and long walks. While there are no public eateries or beach chairs available, the beautiful views and warm blue sea make it a fantastic place to visit.
beautiful beach, lovely temperature its not to hot not to cold very medium. the sand just glides across your feet very nice feeling very spectacular in my opinion wear lots of suncream due to it being very hot and you can burn your shoulders just like my child did. temperature can get up to around 32 so remember to wear sunglasses so you dont ruin your eyesight, the sun loungers are very comfortable even for the children you can keep an eye on them very easily if you sit at the front hard to see if your in the middle area try get there early in the morning just due to lot if people being there very spectacular view though i would highly recommend. overall a superb beach virtually no seaweed in the sea, very relaxing, perfect place to watch sunset and rise it can be quiet sometimes, in my opinion the best beach in the dominican rep. so far very fine sand, very blue waters and restaurant near by which is great if you r hungry and you can just go back once you have eaten. #awesomesauce #beautiful #fantastic #bestcomplexever #vacation #usa #bermuda #triangle #beach #water #blue #amazing

Went on 2 excursions from this beach. Beautiful white sand beach with clear turquoise waters. Even though it was seaweed season, that didn't in any way dampen the beauty of this beautiful beach. Can imagine how beautiful it will be when seaweed season is over.

Beautiful sandy beach. There are a few rocks here and there in the water but not too many.

Vik Arena Blanca Hotel 4*. It is a very simple and not luxury hotel. We decided to come here again this year, because it is very affordable. The rooms are very old, A/C is hardly working, the showers are a disaster. The food is various and delicious, but as usual we had stomach bugs. This year they decided to reconstruct the kids pool, that is why all the kids were in the adult pool, many splashes and noise, too crowded. The beach, during the year half of it washed-out. This year is very big invasion of sargassums algae. They are everywhere, in the water and on the beach. In 10 days the hotel never cleaned the beach, and all these weed accumulated there layer by layer, with horrible rotten egg smell and flies. The best thing they decided to do is clean only some pathways to the water, that's it. The animation was funny, though only 2 guys remained from the last 4 people staff. Overal it was good, but don't have any high expectations about this place.

Playa Uvero Alto Bavaro is a serene and unspoiled beach located at the north end of Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. It is known for its quiet atmosphere, with fewer crowds and resorts compared to other popular destinations in the area. The beach boasts spectacular natural beauty, featuring white sands and shimmering pools that set the scene for relaxation and party vibes.
Excellence in Punta Cana was Amazing!! From the great staff, many bars, activities all day and night its the perfect mix of relaxation and fun. The other guests were very friendly and respectful, made a bunch of new friends throughout our trip. Food was great overall, I'd recommend the Grill steak house and Habachi Experience. Huge swim up bar, wrap around pool, tons of places to sit either on the pool or beach. Activities go on from morning to night and the staff were friendly, attentive and welcoming. This resort will not leave you disappointed, not even for a second. They go up and beyond to make your experience memorable, comfortable and fun all at the same time. I would highly recommend trying it for yourself.

Beach with public access by car. Like many public beaches in DR it is not particularly clean with garbage and debris lying around. On windy days ocean waves will make swimming dangerous. Walk along the beach can be enjoyable if you are into it. You will likely see horse riders from nearby resort. You can also camp on the beach.

Playa Los Corales in Punta Cana is a family-friendly beach destination with easy access to popular attractions like the Hard Rock Golf Club at Cana Bay. While accessing public beaches in the Dominican Republic can be challenging, Playa Los Corales offers a relaxing day by the sea and proximity to various resorts and amenities. With nearby accommodations like Amma Deluxe Beach Villas & SPA, visitors can enjoy an array of facilities including restaurants, swimming pools, bars, and gardens.
We initially were booked for the villas here, but there was an issue with the unit plumbing, and were given 2 other options as a replacement. Both were great and the problem was fixed very quickly. We were very happy with the service we received, especially how Rosa went out of her way to accommodate us in every way. We would 100 percent recommend this place to people if they aren't looking for an all inclusive stay. The rooms were clean and we had no other issues the entire 10 days of our stay. It was a great experience for our family, so thank you Rosa for making our trip unforgettable!

I enjoyed my stay at Los Corales! We stayed here for a night before heading to our all-inclusive for 6 days. I enjoyed the office staff; she was very friendly! We enjoyed the pool area and the short walk to the beach! Our room had a balcony, which we enjoyed. It is no 5-star hotel, but we enjoyed all it had to offer! It was a short walk to a happy hour restaurant, and other little dining and souvenir shops. I felt safe walking the streets!

This trip was absolutely impressive, and one of the main reasons was staying at Los Corales Beach Village, managed by Rosa. Everything was perfect—from the warm welcome to the smooth checkout. The breakfast options were excellent, and the service was always attentive, even down to your calls. The suite was super adorable, with a unique and charming style. Plus, it’s just a short walk to the beach—truly a dream vacation come true. I would highly recommend it and will definitely revisit!

This place is awesome, they upgraded my room for free when I wrote a review saying the room wasn’t the best. The staff is amazing, Rosa (manager) was the one who upgraded my room when she saw my review of the other room wasn’t the best and was super kind and welcoming.Antonio who worked the front desk gave me coupons for a free breakfast my entire stay(thank you so much) and Brian always had a positive attitude when taking my bags to the rooms. This staff is absolutely incredible and I will definitely be staying here again if I come back to Punta Cana.

Cons: Los Corales beach village has a long way to go in terms of being a great hotel. You can tell there is a lot of renovations and construction happening that I would wake up to early in the morning. It seems to be under staffed but that is probably changing soon. The beds are hard as a rock. Other than the pool and beach there are no other amenities. The plumbing and water heating isn’t the greatest. The room WiFi was kinda awful and a Ceiling tile literally fell during our stay. Pros: If you’re on a budget this is your place to go! It is extremely affordable compared to many other resorts in your area. It is right on the beach. You can’t beat the amazing location. The hotel manager was amazing. I don’t remember her name anymore but she was a woman from Portugal. She took care of all our needs and made us feel 100x more comfortable with our stay.

Booking name Carribean Villas, directed to this location, but stayed at Flor del Mar with clean and spacious rooms. Booked a seaview but actually was not, good thing its a few steps from the beach and the excellent restaurants, has a pool, and went through the villas which has nice grounds and walking view to the beach, which was always clean, free from seaweeds. Less1star for the fixed elec fee not clearly indicated in the posting.

Stay here for a couple nights before a work conference; ABSOLUTELY would recommend this place 10/10. The welcoming staff was so warm & friendly. The room was extremely comfortable and cozy. Walking distance to the beach, beach bars and restaurants. This village is currently undergoing renovations but that did not take from my experience at all. Staff is also bilingual (which was very helpful)

Location was great, right on the beach but the streets are terrible. If you rent a car be prepared to dodge craters, crazy motorist and rude bus drivers. The internet was down and but the staff upgraded us to a full service room. The food was great. For the price, you get your monies worth.

Cortecito Inn is a laid-back hotel offering simple rooms, an outdoor pool, and a casual restaurant/bar. Situated within the White Sands Golf Course, it's just a 12-minute walk from the nearest beach and offers complimentary transport to Arena Blanca Beach. The property boasts gardens and outdoor swimming pools. Its prime location allows for easy access to attractions such as Manati Park and Punta Cana International Airport.
The hotel is located in a very convenient area—next to a great seafood restaurant (Capitán Cook Restaurant), just steps away from a beautiful beach, and almost adjacent to a 3-in-1 resort hotel where you can enjoy luxurious days with their day passes. Even though the hotel was fully booked during our stay, it remained very quiet. We felt safe walking along the street at all times.
Nadia H — Google review
Rooms are very rundown, especially bathroom; safe in the room doesn’t work, there’s cracks in our room door, mostly cold water in the shower. Tv doesn’t work. The outside of the hotel is very nice, decent pool and location is good. But they provide no fresh bed sheets and service at the front desk is not friendly.
Kara O — Google review
Do not stay here. Pay a bit more and go to a better place. Saving a few $ per night is not worth it. It is not cleaned properly, the bathroom is openly dirty. One of the dirtiest hotels I've been to. Cockroaches, mosquitoes. Bed sheets don't have stains, but literally everything else has stains. The bathroom is openly broken, unusable and leaky. leaks coming inside the room. Everything is clogged with disgusting gunk, you have to shower with water up to your knees. Then there is the bathroom floor drain that does the opposite of draining. The hotel provides minimal towels, toilet paper and hard soap, but nothing more - there no shower gel or shampoo. If you want to shower, you need to use the hard soap to wash your hair. The breakfast is not a buffet. It's a nearby restaurant that serves its cheapest breakfast menu for guests of this hotel. You get only one half-sandwich sized portion and a juice. You can't get more if you are still huntry. It's worse than breakfasts in the worst hostels I've been to. Do not count on having a proper breakfast while staying in this hotel. It is safe to assume that this place does not have breakfast. There are pictures of a buffet breakfast - it's not the case. The beach is a minute by foot from the hotel. To get to the beach you have to go through a public street and a narrow way with a constant presence of shady business men. The beach has lots of boats in the water. The room balconies are easily accessible through the staircases that don't lock properly and can be just pushed open from the outside. Gaps everywhere, hole in the ceiling in the bathroom that probably has mosquitoes coming in through. Rooms are big, spacious, AC is present but ineffective due to gaps in balcony and entrance doors. It still cools the room down a bit. A fridge is present and works. The balconies are big, spacious and beautiful. The trees in the inner court yard and beautiful. But the inner court yard is not representative of the hotel rooms. This hotel is a perfect example of a resort that has been great in the past, but has been run down by incompetent management that does not know how to run a hotel. This place could be great - it already has wonderful buildings and beautiful inner courtyard. It costs virtually nothing to just clean the rooms properly, improve the doors and provide a proper breakfast or not advertise included breakfast and it would easily turn from a nightmare vacation-ruiner to a hotel that you want to come back to. I despise people that let such wonderful places get into disarray due to their own incompetence and arrogance leading to inability to learn how to properly manage a hotel. If you want to have a good time, do not book a room in this hotel. When I was booking it, I checked the reviews, people were complaining but I thought that it is probably not that bad. It is bad. Openly false advertisement of included breakfast with pictures of a buffet. Openly inoperational bathrooms. Literal dirt stuck to the bathtub walls that comes off when you try to wipe it off with your hand. Clogged sinks. Mosquitoes, cockroaches. Stains everywhere. I regret staying in this hotel, it has ruined my vacation experience. And I don't have that many days on vacation per year. Neither do you. Pay a few $ per night more, get a better rated place. This place is cheap, but it has a worse value than any other place. It's biggest selling point is the inner courtyard, and they maintain and keep it pretty. Everything else is unmaintained and in demise. Don't stay here. Let me write that again. Under no circumstances should you consider this place s viable place for a vacation. You will regret booking this place. Many people are saying this

Stayed here for 3 nights. It wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t the best. Rooms are outdated and I didn’t always have hot water. No wifi in the rooms. The room was spacious, had AC that you can adjust, it had a working tv and a big balcony and it was a close walk to the beach. We got a free small breakfast each morning at the restaurant that is next to the hotel. We drove about 5 minutes to get food each day ( sr grill and they had plate of the day for less than $5.00) and it was authentic Dominican food and not over priced like the food near the hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful when I needed them. I didn’t have any major issues and I would stay here again only because it was cheap, the beds were not dirty and you can easily travel to get food if needed.

No hot water , wifi in and out , didnt have clean towls . Skipped rooms service cleaning days , dirty , bugs , barely any english speaking . I know i probably sound like a snob. But its simple , when i spend decent money on something i expect a certain level of expectations to be met and they failed on all . Do not stay here . Youll regret it .

It is great hotel and location, 2 min from the beach, great staff, very clean, safe, quiet, you are treating here as a family member. You will see my photos that I posted, great place for great price, exactly what people wants. The beach is public and 7 km long, you can swim in any place that you like. The water is very warm all the time. I recommend and hope to come back in few months again!

I had a disappointing stay at this hotel. The bathroom was extremely old and run-down, with no hot water in the shower. But the most shocking part was that there were **no towels** in the room! We went to the reception to ask for towels, and they acted surprised, but even after giving them our room number, the towels never arrived. The entire hotel looks like it’s falling apart, with ceilings that feel like they could collapse at any moment. This is the first hotel I’ve ever stayed at that didn’t even have basic amenities like towels. It’s absolutely crazy and unacceptable. I definitely wouldn’t recommend staying here.

One of the Many Tourism attractions I’ve visited thanks to my Tour guide! Booked it through Booking.com and Visited, around May 29th- June 2nd For Punta Cana excursions. Man was this a beautiful GEM. Deserted Beach, where we stop at an undeveloped beach where we were serve a delicious alcoholic or non-alcoholic cocktail prepared with coconut milk and coconut meat to eat. It was so cool visiting this beautiful beach. A stop where I received my first ever coconut cocktail 🌴. Natural coconut was so much different than the American coconut, of course with all the pressed and processed a natural coconut natural ingredients were more rich and less sweet. I am typically not a coconut fan but the natural coconut was more of my liking.

We went during the week of February 10 to 18 and this beach in particular, had dead sea weed on the coastline. Also super wind, it seems like Dominicans don’t care for picking up their trash, so don’t be surprised if swimming with plastic and bottles of wine or beer. Other than that, very beautiful water and sand, there is shade areas, and is wasn’t crowded.

Service was very good. Juan took great care of us. We got the mahi mahi and the langostino pasta. It was one of the best meals we had all week staying at an all-inclusive resort. Very comfortable outdoor beach facing vibe, and they covered it up in the evening when it started raining, it was fun. Highly recommend.

Beautiful view, good service, the food portions are okay but no taste at all, we got the sea food platter and it was way to over cooked, VERY rubbery and dry unfortunately. But the view is amazing, the drinks are very good as well. Definitely on the prices end, paid around $200US for 2 people. 1 app 1 meal 2 drinks.

Our dream wedding! If you are considering hosting your wedding here, don’t walk - RUN to book with Farah and her team. After MONTHS of frustration dealing with the resort for our wedding another bride told us to contact Jellyfish. We are so glad that we did. The resort we originally booked at clearly felt entitled to our business and charged absurd premiums. Instead, Farah and the Jellyfish team CONTINUOUSLY earned our business and trust. From the moment we (very quickly) heard back from them we had zero doubts that they could be trusted to take our wedding seriously and be responsible for our most important day. Farah is a PROFESSIONAL and unmatched talent in wedding planning. From beginning to end the process was seamless, stress free, and an incredible experience. We didn’t have to worry about a thing. Our biggest decisions were, “which amazing menu should our guests have?”. Farah handled everything and made planning our event actually fun. This is the experience you THINK you should get at an all inclusive. Instead you get it on the beautiful beach at Jellyfish. Our wedding was ‘only’ 18 people, which other venues struggled to provide appropriate suggestions for. This was not at all a problem for Jellyfish. We were given the second floor all to ourselves and they cleared the beach for our ceremony and dance party. It felt like we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. Farah even arranged for an absolutely stunning suite next door so my bride and her bridesmaids could get ready. Oh and the food? Every single guest said it was the best meal of our weeklong destination wedding trip. We cannot recommend Jellyfish enough for events. You will get an incredible experience at a great price. If you have as incredible an experience as ours - please remember to tip. Farah and her team need to keep doing their incredible work. I can see Farah going incredibly far in this career. My only regret is I wish we had switched to Jellyfish sooner. Well done. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Good lobster with butter and garlic sauce, but a little overcooked. There is no place to eat inside, and we asked to change tables because leaves, flowers and insects were falling from the plants above. We took advantage of the sun loungers and parasols on the beach, which were included with lunch, but when we asked the first waiter, he told us it wasn't possible. The second waiter was very kind and brought us our personal wristbands. Prices were a little high, but it was a nice experience. The beach was very clean and well worth it. In the evening, when everything is lit up, the place is very romantic. The road to access and the parking were awful.

The restaurant's quality service, outstanding food, and personalized wedding planning make it a sought-after destination hotspot.
The wedding of our dreams! You have the flexibility customize every detail (or not if you don’t want to!). Rachel was extremely transparent about pricing and expectations throughout the entire year we spent planning for our big day. We knew down to the penny what was owed and every time we made modifications, we received an updated quote. We never felt pressured to upgrade or add in certain extras. Kukua staff were friendly and highly professional! Food was fantastic and venue felt so private compared to the other weddings we saw at our resort. As someone who used to work in the service/catering industry, I was very impressed and cannot recommend this venue enough!
Katie B — Google review
Wedding Date: 04.05.2025 Planning: First I would like to say that planning our wedding was an absolute breeze. I can’t even imagine what it’s like having to plan a wedding in the states after doing it like this. The hardest part of planning was picking out what style decor I wanted. It felt so luxurious sending inspiration pictures and saying “I’d like to do this” and Kukua made it happen. I booked with Kukua a little over a year and a half before my wedding date so I had plenty of meetings and email exchanges with Rachel. Rachel was so easy to work with and very responsive to all my emails. She made the planning process stress free, exciting, and fun! If had the opportunity to do everything all over again, I would do everything all the same. Venue/Decor: Absolutely breathtaking, Mayte took my inspiration pictures and made them come to life but 10x better. When I first saw our decor the morning of my wedding I couldn’t help but cry because everything was just SO beautiful. Our guests raved about the decor/details and how picture perfect everything was. The staff was also amazing, everyone was so friendly, professional and they made sure we were all taken care of. For having a destination beach wedding everyone was very impressed by how formal everything was which is exactly what we wanted! Food/Drink: For dinner we did the caesar salad, penne pasta, beef tenderloin and red snapper. For our dessert table we had chocolate mousse, churros, and crème brûlée. We all loved everything, it was delicious. For our drinks we had Sex On The Beach and Something Blue, these were also very tasty! We did have hors d’oeuvres for cocktail hour but we ended up never trying them because we were busy taking photos. The staff did bring us over some plus cocktails while we were taking photos during cocktail hour, but we opted to finish photos rather than take a break to eat but they looked great. Our guests said it was all very good! They always say that food is one of the most memorable parts of a wedding and that is certainly true! DJ: As a type A person who takes music playlists VERY seriously I created separate Spotify playlists for cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing to give to the DJ. We had no issues with him following the playlists and during the dancing he mixed the music so each song flowed into the next smoothly. We had so much fun dancing, I never stepped off the dance floor all night!

Our Kukua dream wedding 4.11.25. -Kukua Venue/Staff (Kukua Punta Cana): I swear nothing will top the beauty of this resort. Every detail is absolutely perfect. Did you know that they freshly paint the aisle every wedding?! The venue is the perfect size to host a small or a very large wedding. My guest count (50 people) fit comfortably for dinner, on the dance floor, and everyone (I mean everyone) said it was the most amazing wedding they had ever attended. The staff at Kukua are welcoming, accommodating, and truly professional. The bartenders were quick, and the drinks were seriously outstanding. I couldn’t have had as amazing of an experience without all their hard work and dedication to the craft. -Mayte: This woman deserves the world. She is so unbelievably detailed, professional, and welcoming. I was amazed at how far she would go to make our wedding day so perfect. For example, I remember seeing from the corner of my eye Mayte running across the aisle before my husband turned around so she could fluff my dress. She moved so fast I swear she almost tucked and rolled to get in and out swiftly. She is beyond words, and WE are lucky to work with her on the wedding day. -Rachel (Uniquely Rachel): Rachel will always share a special place in my heart. She stepped in when I had already lost hope and revived my dreams. She made us laugh, she made us cry, and she pays such close attention to every detail you can imagine. WE are lucky to have her help us make our dreams a reality. Rachel makes it her mission that your wedding is the best day of your life, and her work shows! -Décor: The décor speaks for itself. AMAZING. I had an idea in my mind, and when I would go downstairs from the bridal suite to peek, I would walk back upstairs with tears. The décor was breathtaking. I also feel like I got more than my mind imagined and what my budget could afford. -Food: Let me tell you guys, this is the best meal I have ever had, and I am a foodie! We chose the chicken Caesar salad, mushroom chicken pasta, and filet and lobster dinner. The guests were obsessed! Every piece of food from Kukua deserves to be in a magazine; it was that good! -Junior Cruz Photography and Videography (Junior Cruz Weddings): This team went above and beyond for my requests. I finally just watched my full 1.5-hour wedding video, and I cried all over again like it was the wedding day.I will recommend them a million times over and over until I’m blue in the face. -Olga Montilla (Olga Montilla Beauty Studio & School): My MUA and hairstylist! She made me feel like a Barbie on my wedding day, and I can honestly say I don’t think I’ve ever looked more beautiful. I shared pictures, and she executed. -Violinist: I was a little skeptical of adding a violinist. To my surprise, she was incredible. -Hora Loca Team: They are worth it. My dance floor was empty after our first dance. They came out and for the rest of the night, the dance floor was full. Everyone danced. -We stayed at Dreams Onyx and honestly it was a great resort for our entire party. The food was great, our butler was attentive, and our guests had the time of their lives. -We came in under our budget. I know weddings can be a huge expense and we managed to have this wedding without breaking our bank. -The palapa was breezy and the men loved getting ready there! It’s also such a great distance from where I was that there wasn’t a chance that the groom would see me beforehand. Ultimately, you’ve made the best decision choosing Kukua and I am confident your wedding will also be as special as you can imagine.

Wedding date 10.24.25 (Hurricane Melissa). Ok... I know what you're thinking. Am I really about to book a place in a foreign country that I've never seen before. YES, YES YOU ARE. Please just do me a favor and trust all of the reviews like I did. You can also go on to wedding wire, where there are way more. This place is so much more dreamy than even pictures can do it justice online. The staff is INCREDIBLE. Rachel, the wedding planner/coordinator is just the most amazing human. She is there for you the entire year before your wedding - planning, questions, and literally anything you can think of that you may need. She will talk you off a ledge or out of doing something silly or outlandish. Her services are included in your wedding process FYI, so you're not shelling out an absurd amount of money (which is unheard of btw). When you finally come on-site you'll meet Mayte, who is responsible for making the magic come to life the day of, and who you'll meet for your tasting. David is also amazing - he runs your wedding so it's smooth as butter the day of. The owner is also so lovely and... it's a family business which I love. Trust them all - they've been doing this a long time together. The level of professionalism and responsiveness was above and beyond what I expected. They made what should have been a very stressful year (and day) into an extremely manageable and relatively relaxing experience. All this to say... I had a tropical storm hit on my wedding day. They still did an incredible job in shuffling things around and making it work, while ensuring me that everything was taken care of. The food was amazing. Our tasting felt so special a few days before. Not to mention, the decorations and elaborate nature of our wedding would've easily cost us 100-200k in NY. The best decision we ever made was choosing to have our wedding here. I would host a 10 year vow renewal here again in hopes for some sunny weather!

Writing this review gives me a REALITY CHECK because I just want to relive this whole planning era! From the moment we found Kukua Punta Cana, we knew it was the one. Our wedding was a dream come true and our guests STILL can’t stop talking about it. Planner – Uniquely Rachel: 1000/10 Rachel is my forever homegirl! She kept us grounded, embraced my true vision, and made planning a destination wedding feel easy. Her organization and creativity are unmatched. Venue – Kukua: 1500/10 Absolute perfection. Beautiful weather, stunning décor, and every detail executed flawlessly by Mayte and her team. Our colorful setup, unique napkins, florals, candles—everything was beyond what we imagined. The staff took amazing care of all our guests all night long. Photo & Video – Photo Cine Art: 13,000/10 Milan and his team told our story beautifully! He captured every angle without us even noticing. Nata handled everything with great communication. The final photos and videos were everything we dreamed of. Content Creators – Maid of Content: 10/10 Captured every candid moment perfectly and delivered everything within 24 hours. She even updated my IG live and organized all our stories! Hair & Makeup – Brides by Montilla: 10/10 Olga is incredible. She adapted to my last-minute changes and my makeup survived our big pool jump! She also squeezed in 3 extra girls and helped book a barber my husband loved. Travel Agent – Our Destination Weddings: 10/10 Carol and Carolisa were amazing, responsive, organized, and so helpful when we had a check-in issue. Coordinating nearly 50 guests was a breeze thanks to them. Stay – Paradisus Palma Real: 8/10 Beautiful resort, great concierge, and perfect size for our group. A few check-in hiccups, but once fixed, we loved our stay and the spa experience after the wedding. Crazy Hour: 1000x/10 One of the BEST parts of the night! So fun, energetic, and a perfect celebration of our cultura. DJ: 8/10 Great vibe and kept the dance floor packed with Spanish hits. Appreciated that he checked in before playing certain songs. MC & Officiant – Alejandro: 10/10 Amazing! He officiated and MC’d in both English and Spanish, kept everyone engaged, and made us feel at ease. Our wedding at Kukua Punta Cana was everything we dreamed of and more. Every vendor went above and beyond. If you’re considering a destination wedding,TRUST this team. You’ll be in the best hands.

This beach club was recommended by my family members here in Italy. As an Australian tourist I do not recommend this club arrived at 9 am with kiosk not offering a coffee saying they were delayed and looked like they did not want to be there in fact they were discussing amongst themselves how they hated their job. I arsked when the brioche would be ready i was told 10 min on 5 occasions after one hour waiting at the seating area both women said they thought I was waiting for the cornetto which I did not say that they accused me of not asking for brioche and I speak both English and Italian fluently they were defensive and so rude! The beach couch was not clean and one of the pools looked like it had not been cleaned for a week! For 35 EU entry fee poor service and behaviour! Stay away!!!!

My wedding hasn't taken place just yet, but I already feel compelled to write a review for the wonderful work the Kukua team has done so far - which is not a surprise given all of the positive reviews. Planning a wedding is stressful. Planning a destination wedding is even more stressful! The team is very responsive and made the process extremely easy. I felt that our wedding planner, Rachel, really took her time to understand what is important to us and offered a personalized plan. The venue itself is also gorgeous (we visited earlier this year), right by the crystal blue shores of Arena Gorda beach and gives it that authentic tropical feel. If you're looking to get married in Punta Cana, in my opinion this venue is an excellent option!

I cannot say enough about Kukua Restaurant as a wedding venue. I feel so lucky to have been able to find this venue and have my wedding there. Everything from the minute I reached out asking about availability to the execution of our dream wedding exceeded our expectations. The communication leading up to the event was amazing! Rachel does an amazing job making sure you feel comfortable planning an event so far away! I cannot say enough about the staff on sight as well. Catalina was just a gem. Her passion for bringing brides' dreams to life is palpable. Everyone worked so hard to make our day absolutely flawless. It truly was a dream! We had a small wedding with just 8 guests, But we were never made to feel less than because of our small party size! The flowers were brilliantly gorgeous, the food was exquisite, and the atmosphere was better than any photo can describe! We are already looking forward to our next visit for lunch when we are back in the country again!

Zoho Beach Club Punta Cana is a beautiful beachfront restaurant that offers excellent food, service, and atmosphere. The staff are fantastic and make sure every guest has a great time. The food is delicious and the setting is amazing - right next to the ocean. Highly recommend!
I proposed here and it was amazing. From the service to the food, just wow! Very professional staff. Waitress stood by the table to make sure everything was okay but far enough to not make us feel uncomfortable. It was very professional and delicate service. I recommend this to anyone wanting to go for good dinner. And for a proposal its the best spot. Headache free they plan everything you just give a date and time. Ease of mind was the best part of it.

This place offers a fantastic dining experience with a beautiful beachfront setting. 🤌🏻 We tried - Spicy Potato which had a great kick of flavor - Strawberry Mojito which was refreshing and well-balanced 🩷 - Rigatoni with Mushroom Creamy Sauce was so delicious, I definitely recommend 🩷 - Dorado Fillet was ok as it was overpowered by the tomato flavor, which dominated the dish—this could be better balanced Overall, the ambiance was relaxing and the service was excellent. A great spot for a memorable meal by the beach!

What a great night! They were kind enough to make me a vegan pasta that was delicious! The DJ was 10/10 and they even had a fire show which was also amazing. What a great night, highly recommend.

SCAMM ALERT!!!!Zoho Beach Club in Punta Cana was by far the worst experience I had during my trip. The staff was incredibly rude, completely unwelcoming, and made us feel like we were an inconvenience from the moment we walked in. The food was terrible—low quality and definitely not worth the inflated prices. The views were nothing special, totally overhyped. But the real scam started with the bill. They charged us half the total in mysterious taxes and added fees we were never told about. Then, they had the nerve to tell us that if we wanted to use the benches, we had to spend even more money. Basically, whatever price you see on the menu—TRIPLE IT—that’s what you’ll actually pay. And somehow, they’ll still try to squeeze more out of you. This place is a ripoff disguised as a beach club. Total scam. Avoid at all costs—there are much better and more honest places in Punta Cana.

Came here for my friends 40th Birthday celebration and dinner. Staff were friendly and the food was good! Staff was very accommodating !

We went there for the happy hour but the place was relatively empty so we decided to stay also for dinner. The food was very good, the paella and the seafood spaghetti were very tasty, even though the bottom of the paella was completely burnt, so we could not finish it (it happened for both the paellas that we ordered). Other than this it was a very positive experience. The staff was very kind, and they even let us choose some of the songs to put on the speakers.

We started our food tour here, what a treat this place was story-book amongst story-book locations. Right on the beach with the warm yet refreshing sea breeze chilling the senses and inducing a since of calm all while the DJ hammers out the hits. The raised wooden plank platforms are a bonus for eating on the beach without eating the sand. Like all places we encountered the staff were nice welcoming and spoke as much English as we spoke Spanish, I know I have to do better, the few words we knew made all the difference. We tried and appetizer that was a fried chicken ball type item. It was decent but honestly the ambiance makes this a must try. Oh yeah there is also an additional tax with the meal and service, I akin it to the tax levied in Miami Beach, at the time of our visit 1 dollar = 58.75 pesos.

The Be Live Collection Punta Cana is an adults-only all-inclusive resort located near the beach. It has a casino, nine pools, tennis courts and football fields that are fully equipped. The main attraction of this hotel is its proximity to the beach - you can walk there in less than 500 feet.
After flying 10hours from France and not knowing what to expect , I can say that I spent an amazing 10 days vacation in Be Live Collection Adults Only Punta Cana with my mother in every way. The hotel is very clean, cozy, and beautifully designed. The rooms are very spacious, clean and have very comfortable beds. The chefs and the staff are very friendly having always a service with a smile. The food was very fresh and tasty with lots of variety . The beach was beautiful and long , great for walks. In addition the General Manager and Nicolas from the VP desk were very attentive to our needs and made us feel like home. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitively come back even if I have to fly another 10hours ! :) Thank you everybody for making our vacation a very memorable one. Best regards, Aneta G.

Spent five nights here in winter 2020 (just before the COVID outbreak). Our room was fine, nothing special. Housekeeping (or other staff members) would let themselves into our room on several occasions without knocking or announcing themselves at all. Restaurant service was mostly abysmal, with over 45 minutes of waiting for any dinner service on our first night. The beach was a bust, because we couldn’t sit in peace for even a moment without some type of saleperson approaching us to try and sell us their wares. Absolutely wouldn’t come here again.

Great location and beautiful views but that is all. Pushy timeshare people (bought in 2021) to later fing out it's pretty much a scam. I would recommend just enjoying everything else and not agreeing to a timeshare.

We went when there was curfew in the country during the COVID-19 times, there wasn't much activity in the hotel seven so we had a good time because we party in punta cana clubs, as it was an adult hotel, we had a complaint because the buffet was mixed with the family resort and that's how we got breakfast and champagne in the room as a result of the complaint.

I read a lot of reviews before coming here. Many said it wasn't good and many said it was great. I've had a great stay. The food has been plentiful and good. Most of the staff greets you with a smile and have been super helpful. Daniel, who is in charge of activities, went above and beyond to make sure our family was having fun during our vacation. The resort is small and cozy and not too busy. There are little things here and there around the resort that people can nitpick but I feel for the money, it has been a great time. When you come, find Daniel and prepare to have a good time.

My family and I came to this hotel for our summer holiday in July, it was lovely! Amazing views and generally quite clean, we had a few issues with our first room but was quickly and easily sorted! The food in the buffet is quite simple but the restaurant system is very good. All of the staff are super friendly and welcoming, most of them speak English too which is great. The entertainment is great with something different everyday, biggest appreciation to ‘sexy belly’ who never fails to make everyone laugh! All around a nice experience and would recommend, definitely would visit this hotel again.

I had a very great time. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had an assistant who checked on us often and communicated really well. The buffet had the same food every day but you can still do the variety without eating the same thing every day. The place is really clean. They were fixing our bed twice a day (don't understand why they were coming fixing the bed for bed time). All my excursions were booked separately but were in proximity with great comfortable transportation.

This hotel is definitely not 5 star! I did not have a good experience as it felt everything was extremely annoying and a problem for the staff. If you're booking all-inclusive don't. It's not truly an all inclusive, when you try to eat at any at the restaurants you need a "reservation" and then when you try to make one they tell you they're all booked. The only restaurant you really have full access to is the buffet. All the restaurants we finally had access to did not respect the "reservation" and could never find the "reservation" in their list. There is no room service and they're stingy with the room towels and take forever to bring them to you. Also, both of the rooms we booked were opened by the staff without knocking and without our permission. The staff opened one of the rooms at 6am when we were sleeping and the other at 8am!! This is highly unprofessional and should never happen. On the last day, our room keys were deactivated before checkout at 12pm and we were locked out of our rooms while we went out to breakfast. We had to walk back to the concierge to get them to activate them all over again! Highly unprofessional. As we were waiting we overheard another couple that were left in their room without AC for 5-days. The fact they weren't immediately put into another room is mind blowing. They had to endure this and argue with the front desk to even get comped on their stay. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to any of my friends. The rest of the reviews I felt were misleading as they seemed to all be positive which is why I booked here. We were constantly faced with push back when trying to get or access the basic stuff on the resort like cabanas by the beach or drinks or food. One of the staff legit said "1 per person" for burgers!! How is that all inclusive or even okay if someone is still hungry. I'm highly disappointed with my stay. I did not add 1-star only because our Concierge Jonathan was nice and helpful and tried to assist as much as possible.

My family and I vacationed one week here. Everything looked great online however, the beach was not what I expected. The water was brown and the amount of seaweed made it very difficult to enjoy the water. The service was not very good. The entire staff apart from the front desk lady only spoke Spanish and they made no efforts to accommodate English speakers. They also do not restock the fridge in the rooms or provide wash cloth replacements so we had to ask for it every night. The entire vacation we felt like we were alone because the events and entertainment was not inclusive for anyone that did not speak Spanish. They advertised room-service but, when you get there they tell you that you can only order room service if you book as a "privileged club member." This was not the only thing that was exclusive to privileged club members. They also do not allow normal residents vacationing rides on the golf cart to accommodate guests when it is pouring rain. A kids waterpark was advertised for the entire resort but you were not allowed unless you booked at a specific section of the resort.

Stayed here for 2 week in September. We did enjoy our holiday but I would not return. The hotel and grounds are kept clean and tidy. The room we had was clean to the visible eye but the whole time I was there when I sat on the bed I got a whiff of urine. The food was good but the a la cart restaurants were dotted all around the complex so there was a lot of walking involved. They do provide carts but they were hit and miss and when one did stop and asked where we were going when we told him he said I don't know where that is and drove off. Entertainment was a bit hit and miss. The aqua ballet was good and the fire show i would recommend seeing these. The sea and beach was not that great so we stayed at the pool. My over all impression is the the complex is made up of at least 6 different hotels and for me personally it was just too big and I formation from the reception staff was very inconsistent. I would however like to point t out they had the best mixology bar i have ever visited the staff were fantastic and the cocktails out of this world.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this resort for 7 days, from June 14 to June 21. We flew with Air Canada, and while the flight itself was smooth, things went downhill once we landed in Punta Cana. It took a very long time to get through the airport, and we were then put on a bus with no air conditioning for a long, uncomfortable ride. The driver kept making stops, and although we landed at 1:25 PM, we didn’t get to our room until around 5:00 PM. The staff could be more welcoming—many didn’t make any effort to speak English, which made communication difficult as we don’t speak Spanish. The buffet food was good and changed every night, which we appreciated, and the drinks were good too (as long as you reminded the staff to bring them). However, the service overall was not great. On several occasions during breakfast, lunch, and dinner, we were either forgotten or had to keep following up on simple requests. For example, a waiter would offer me coffee in the morning, but it would never arrive—even after I had finished eating. This happened almost every day. Another major issue was the fumigation. They would fumigate at really odd hours of the day—most noticeably around 6:30 PM, just as everyone was heading out to dinner. The strong smoke would fill the air and make it really uncomfortable to walk through. I understand the need to fumigate, but it should not be done at peak dinner time when guests are trying to enjoy their evening. The beach was beautiful but filled with vendors. While I respect that they are working hard to earn a living, the constant interruptions made it difficult to truly relax, as we were regularly approached about excursions or other sales. Overall, I’d rate this resort a 7/10. The food and drinks were enjoyable, and the setting is lovely, but the service, poor communication, uncomfortable fumigation timing, and arrival experience left a lot to be desired. I wouldn’t return, but it might still be worth trying for a first-time visitor with managed expectations.

Disappointed with Food and Customer Service ⭐☆☆☆☆ I was really looking forward to my stay at Bahia Principe Grand Turquesa, but unfortunately, the experience fell short—especially when it came to the food and service. The food was consistently bland. The meals lacked flavor and freshness. A resort of this level should not be serving food that tastes like it came out of a cafeteria line. Even the fruit wasn’t fresh most of the time. To make matters worse, the customer service was not what I expected from a resort of this size. Staff often seemed uninterested or annoyed when we asked for help. Requests were either ignored or took far too long to be addressed, and there was a general lack of courtesy or friendliness. It’s a shame because the property itself is beautiful, but the poor dining experience and lackluster service made it hard to fully enjoy our trip. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend it to others looking for quality hospitality

Our house keeper flor was great our room was clean and our fridge was Alway stocked!!! I have stay at this resort b4 and I am shock at how little staff is here now and how unhelpful they were also how down graded the. Entertain was the place was. Over run by a large amount of locals and most of the people in our party had issues with there ac. Backed up toilets broken room locks. Ect for us our house keeper was the best part of our stay unfortunately we made sure to tip her well and have gifts for her to show our gratitude this was a totly different experience than I had at this resort 2 years ago i don’t know what happened to the place

Disappointing Experience – Needs Serious Improvement The property itself is extremely run-down. We experienced a leakage from the floor above, which was never addressed despite reporting it. One of the most upsetting parts of our stay was the noticeable difference in how guests were treated. It became clear that staff prioritized large groups and fair-skinned guests, while others—like us—were often ignored. It was difficult to even get a glass of water at the dining area, and we were frequently overlooked by both staff and managers. The beds were old, hard, and very uncomfortable. When we requested additional blankets, the ones given had holes, and the one in the closet was covered in dust, which triggered a full allergic reaction for me. We inquired two nights in advance about a late check-out and were told we had to request it the morning of, and that it would cost $30 for two extra hours. We followed up again the day before and were told the same thing. However, on the day of checkout, we were abruptly denied, with a rude manager stating it was no longer possible. Many of the staff members, especially the managers and receptionists, were cold and unprofessional. The servers looked overworked, tired, and unhappy—understandably so given the conditions. Although the seaweed problem in Punta Cana is environmental, the smell of rotting seaweed around the property was unbearable and should be better managed. As someone who works in the customer service industry, specifically as a flight attendant for a major airline, I was appalled at the treatment we received. No guest should feel like a second-class citizen based on how they look. Every guest deserves equal respect and attention. Please do better—for the sake of your future guests and your reputation.

Caribbean Cinemas in Punta Cana offers a wide selection of movies at an affordable price, with comfortable seating and ample parking. It's conveniently located just off the highway, making it easily accessible from most parts of Punta Cana. Visitors appreciate the spacious screens and excellent sound system. While some find the seats to be on the larger side, others feel they are designed for comfort.
I wanted to experience a Dominican movie theatre and I wasn’t disappointed! Went in to watch a horror movie and laughed throughout the entire film due to the side commentary! I kept it simple popcorn and drinks and was pleased with the service and the cleanliness of the bathrooms. It does get Extremely cold so bring a sweater and dress appropriately to enjoy your movie!

It’s a movie theater 🎭 the theater has nice comfortable seating with a nice large screen. I’ve never seen a movie in Spanish so that was cool. The downside of my visit- 1. the concession stand wait time was absolutely too long…the line was outside of the building, the employees working behind the counter were very nonchalant with no urgency in helping to get the line down. They were talking and laughing with each other like there wasn’t any customers in line trying to get to their movie on time. Once I get seated in the theater, customers were still coming into the movies 30 mins after the movie started because of the long line 😔😔😔😔😔😔 2. After the long concession wait it was now time to go into the theater and the employee taking the tickets to enter told me to hold on a second so he could answer his cell phone! 😡☹️ are you serious señor??? Like really!?!?! I waited in a long line to buy snacks then I have to wait while you answer your phone!!! Oh hell naw! The customer service needs much improvement here. 🤷🏾‍♀️🙏🏾

Lots of movie options to choose from a great location and a great price at $350 a ticket. There is plenty of parking and as Down Town is just off the highway it's a short drive from most parts of Punta Cana. Big screens and a great sound system. I highly recommend this cinema to everyone. The seats are very comfortable and q good size. I think they might be created with the average US american's waistline in mind.
Scott E — Google review
The staff here is horrible, including the management as well as corporate office! They are rude and don’t care at all if the customers enjoy their experience in the least bit! Not to mention, they refuse to show any children’s movies in English as according to them “most children here speak only Spanish”. Obviously they haven’t done any market research or fail to realize that Bavaro/Punta Cana has a growing expat community with a number of bilingual schools in the area. A group of over 15 parents emailed their customer service team along with their Director, Zumaya Cordero, but they could care less to respond or do anything about it!
Info T — Google review
Dropped my rating because they are carrying very few options in english, mostly spanish dubbed versions, especially for kids movies. They may have 1 viewing and it's always at the end of the night making it too late to take the kidos anyways.

The Real MVP of Our Party Boat – Amazing Photographer & Even Better Human! We had an unforgettable time on a party boat in the Dominican Republic, and one of the biggest highlights was having this photographer with us. Not only did he absolutely crush it behind the lens — capturing every laugh, dance move, ocean splash, and sunset glow — but he also went above and beyond to have our back. When a vendor tried to overcharge us just to take photos with primates and birds, he stepped in without hesitation to protect us and make sure we weren’t being taken advantage of. That’s the kind of person you want documenting your memories — someone who’s not just talented, but trustworthy and genuinely looking out for you. The photos were next-level — vibrant, fun, emotional, and full of energy. Every single image brings the day rushing back. Editing to add more information! We had private transportation from our resort to the marina located behind a row of shops along the shore. We were transported very safely to the boat via a smaller boat. We booked the private booze cruise excursion and I HIGHLY recommend ! The boat was clean and spacious. This was the best day ever! Javier and the crew made sure we had an exciting experience. They took us to two locations : a beautiful coral reef where we snorkled for about 20 minutes and then to a mostly private swimming area that we had all to ourselves. We had snacks and drinks on demand, Javier and the crew made sure our drinks never ran dry. We were able to snorkle, slide, and hang out in the sand bar area for a good amount of time. Honestly could not have had a better day. Javier takes photos throughout the day, and even though the photo package was a bit pricey ($90) we got plenty of excellent quality photos for the price. We would absolutely do this excursion again.

I don’t like writing reviews but this one was well worth it. 5 star from the pick up to the drop off. Staff on the boat was awesome. They’re accommodating with big parties and adjust the $ the day of. Highly recommend

Took a Pink Cat deep sea fishing charter and was very disappointed. The 2 captains unfortunately spoke little to no English or I assume this because 4 hours on the boat and I think they spoke all of 10 seconds. I know they can dictate if we catch anything but there was no engagement with the people riding on the boat, the captains tried nothing much to attempt different tactics. If felt like we just went on a really bumpy hot boat ride for 4 hours. Sad because it could have been more engaging even if we didnt catch anything. Or just have a fall back to a smaller fishing area. Hell we caught 4 fish the day before just trolling on a snorkel charter.
T M — Google review
The Pink Cat and our crew were excellent! We had a group of six people, and the boat could hold much more! We had a fantastic time snorkeling, seeing wildlife such as dolphins, stingrays, sharks, and even monkeys and parrots. We coasted up and down the coast, listened to music, drank, ate, and had a wonderful time! I would highly recommend this company to anyone seeking a good time while in the DR. A huge shout out to our crew, especially Raymond!

Our group had an amazing time with pink party boat! They even decorated the boat for us. The crew were knowledgeable and professional, but when it was time to party, they turned up right along with us. It made for a great experience that was the perfect way to end our trip.

White Sand and Blue sea! We a group of friends visited this place couple of times for the good and friendly atmosphere. There were many options: paddle boarding, snorkelling, banana boat, etc. which were not very expensive. You've restaurants & bar nearby to much and drink.

One of the best island i have seen. The water was crystal clear. Enjoyed music, dance and beach whole day.

Beautiful island. The water is very calm and beautiful. We took a private tour which took us to 4 different beaches. One was completely private while others were full of people. All of them were a good time. There were turtles and starfish. On the way there we saw a whale. Very fun experience.

Beautiful island with clear waters and blue sky.. a most do while in punta cana.. we took a day trip for 140usd for two people.. worth every penny.. Be CAUTIOUS ⚠️ about the woman in the island offering massages.. its a rip off!! 110 USD for no more than 10 mins of massage.. do not let them touch you! Or you will find yourself owning them money.

White sand beaches with plenty of sea shells in which you can collect, as well as beautiful clear blue water to play in. The water remains shallow for quite a while, allowing everyone to spread out as needed. It is SUPER touristy, and can feel crowded.

Nearby, Villablanca Beach Club offers rental houses with terraces, but it's best to avoid visiting in the summer due to algae. Additionally, the area boasts one of the best golf courses in Punta Cana and the Caribbean region, often hosting PGA tournaments.
Enjoyed the 5 days long trip. The vacation homes were decent, price was reasonable, and it was close to the beach. The beach offers para sailing. That was really exciting.
