Excellent service, very warm and friendly. Attention to detail, even with distinct cutlery for each diner depending on their order. Frequent visits to the table to top up drinks. The waiter misheard our order for an appetizer but apologized and returned with the correct item quickly and without making a fuss. The location was stunning, over the water, at a marina - with a hole in the floor to observe marine life (if the water weren't so muddy.) Having said all that, the food was mediocre. The "Cajun" seasoning lacked flavor and was basically a tomato salsa. Rice and beans was a disappointing accompaniment to the catch of the day, and the tostones lacked flavor or seasoning. The pumpkin Parmesan risotto was nice in flavor but rather gooey in texture, and a dab of butter in the center seemed an odd pairing. The birthday cake was automatically added to our bill because we said it was a birthday, and it was as dense as shortcake. Not what we were expecting. We ordered two glasses of wine, but he brought the bottle to our table. When he poured a third glass to finish the bottle, we were charged for a 3rd order of a glass of wine rather than being charged for the bottle. All in all of was a pleasant evening of being well looked after, but the quality of the food would keep us from returning in a hurry.

Cute place at the marina. Food was good and service was excellent. Willy has good recommendations, was very nice and accommodating. I got the coconut shrimp - was good but different than what I'm used to. The eggplant parm appetizer thing was so good we got a second portion. (We don't recommend the calamari.)

One of the best experiences we’ve had and definitely the best during our visit at Punta Cana! Willy was the most attentive, knowledgeable server and his kindness continued even after our dinner helping us make sure that we had transportation to go back to our hotel. The food was delicious! On point with the flavor and portion size. Willy also made us a special cocktail after we shared our preferences and when we come back, we’ll ask for the Willy’s special. Our favorite the octopus and the risotto!

Nice place to visit. Unfortunately, getting uber back to your destination it’s difficult. We had to get in a taxi recommended by one of the staff. I was little bit scary, but i trusted what my mine was telling me. Good thing, the texi driver was nice and friendly.

Large family group and we all loved the restaurant. Very kind staff and delicious food. It wasn't quick, but that's ok and sit back relax and enjoy the island! Drinks were enjoyed by all, as.they graciously will make any cocktail a mocktail (and appropriately priced). Windy

Great restaurant on the water and away from the resorts/hotels. Great service and selection. Dominican Snapper with multiple choices of sauce were all good as was the Pineapple Shrimp Risotto and the Coconut Shrimp. Highlights of the appetizers were definitely the eggplant w/ plantain and ceviche. Lastly the single leches for dessert was amazing.

Went while on vacation, took my GF for her birthday. It was pretty good. Not amazing. Overall an enjoyable experience. The empanadas weren't great... but the salmon tartar was nice. We went with the surf and turf and salmon risotto for the mains. We both enjoyed

I am never happy with the food here in Dominican Republic , this restaurant completely changed my mind. Everything was so fresh , delicious and appetizing. Starting with the bread rolls & butter. The pizza was delicious and must try for sure , the salmon and risotto was spectacular and the tres leches dessert is a must, the tomatoe soup and grilled cheese was delicious as well. The salad I would suggest getting the dressing on the side. The staff was very friendly and accommodating I will definitely be going back !

Wanted to go somewhere nice for my birthday dinner (I didn't like the restaurants at the hotel i was staying at). Raphael and I believe her name was Priscilla(she had a ponytail) were very attentive. The food was excellent. The vibe of the restaurant was exactly what I was looking for. I was going to go with another restaurant that evening but I think I made the correct choice.

Very elegant atmosphere and the service was great! They were unfortunately out of lobster for the main course, grilled and appetizer, tempura offered. Besides that, everything was fantastic. Our meals were delicious and too quality. By far the best meal we had at the Hard Rock in Punta Cana.

Everything we had here was absolutely amazing! The hostess, Yenny, seated us at the spot we wanted and our waiter Francisco was very attentive. Everything was served at the perfect temperature, the flavors were rich, the presentation was beautiful and they surprised us birthday girls with a delicious dessert topped with a sparkler! I ordered the Risotto (large enough to share) and it was hands down one of the best I've ever had! The sweet potato side with goat cheese was also delicious and definitely worth it. Reservations are a good idea, and this spot is a must whether staying on-site or nearby. I would absolutely go back!

Very Disappointing We chose this restaurant as a special treat - paying for a meal when staying at an all-inclusive resort. The atmosphere is excellent but the food and service were both horrible. My wife had the spaghetti with shrimp dish and it wasn’t even so so. I had the halibut and it was grossly overcooked - tough and dry. Wait staff were neither warm nor friendly - disengaged and chatting among themselves. And the bill was over US$200! We were there twice tonight - first and last time.

Honestly I never leave restaurant reviews but unfortunately La palapa did not hit the spot. That being said, the atmosphere and staff were absolutely lovely but the restaurant truly is a ripoff. For Eden Roc standards, I felt severely let down. They claim to be the #1 hotel in the Caribbean and then let a restaurant like this operate on their property. Now for the food. We started with the shrimp, avocado and hearts of palm salad. It was fresh but lacked any flavor, especially in the so called “mustard seed dressing.” We also had the tuna tartare, which was fresh but the miso ginger sauce lacked in flavor, once again. For our mains we shared the ‘special sushi roll’, a king crab and red tuna roll, which was fine, but there was nothing special about it. And the cherry on top was the 1lb red snapper we had for our entree. The server filleted the whole grilled fish table side and proceeded to scrap off maybe a 1/2 cup size portion of fish flakes. Overall, two appetizers, a sushi roll and a 1lb fish (and a bottle of water) was $167usd, just not worth it.

La Palapa is truly a magical place you're sure not to forget in a hurry - from the views, the tropical beach, the food and of course the amazing staff, that really bring the experience to life. Enjoyed an evening by the water listening to the waves crash against the rocks in the sand at La Palapa. The restaurant is lovely with excellent service. The food was quite good with excellent recommendations from the waiter. Would go again. Definitely recommend trying the authentic meals available.

Great chef and restaurant. What disappoints is the spontaneous visit is always ruined by "face control " and inability just to go to restaurant without being stopped at reception unless you have reservation. Annoying, so place is just never full or busy. Reasonably priced comparing to Zurich, Tokyo or New York City yet "inaccessible" to low key property owners and residents of Cap Cana.

Meal was nice. Bread service with olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette. Sparking and still available for waters. Nice, quiet atmosphere. Great view of beach at the clubhouse. Prices around $40+ for dinner. Service was decent. We were the only people there but it was difficult getting their attention for service

I just want to say a very much 🙏 🙏🙏 to the whole staff of the Grill for their service and their hospitality to a very special night for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. The whole staff was just so warming and welcoming to the whole family everything that was going on was just so wonderful and very thoughtful. The food was delicious and amazing as the chef came out and introduce himself to all of his meals. The Grill is the perfect place for any event to take place. The staff was dedicated from the beginning. Thank you so much TO EVERYONE AT THE GRILL for making this day a day to remember. This is an awesome restaurant.

We loved our afternoon at The Grill at the Punta Cana Resort. Arrismendi was our outstanding server and became our friend! It was our daughters 21st birthday and the entire staff at the Grill did an outstanding job of making us feel comfortable, supported and like we were family. The views are spectacular and you have to see it to believe it. Take your family to this restaurant and impress them :)!

Came here for dinner and the menu was different than what we had seen online. They also may not have everything on the menu if it is out of season (lobster). Ended up staying and getting something else and it ended up being really good. Portions were a bit small as they don't really come with anything (sides are separate). The waiter was super nice. Would definitely eat here again.

The fried red snapper was great, the arepas are sooo good! I enjoyed everything....

Horrible!!!! Frozen bread, meat. Worse quality. No service. Asked for a glass of red wine, they brought me an ice cold glass of red wine (without showing me the bottle)!! Asked for butter for the bread. Butter was liquid.... picture. So yes it’s low season and the resort is empty and the chef is only here in high season and the room price is 50% off its high, but everything has its limits and you should not take the clients who dare come for pigeons or worse turkeys...

A Culinary Gem with Outstanding Service! Herman 311 Bar & Restaurant completely blew me away! From the moment we walked in, we were treated like VIPs thanks to the incredible service from Angelo and Ruth. They were attentive, personable, and made the entire experience feel warm and memorable. Now, let’s talk about the food, wow! The grilled octopus was perfectly charred, tender, and bursting with flavor. I’ve had octopus in a lot of places, but this one easily takes the top spot. The paella? Absolute perfection. Rich, aromatic, and packed with seafood, each bite was better than the last. And believe it or not, the chicken Caesar salad might’ve stolen the show. It was hands-down the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly grilled chicken, crisp romaine, just the right amount of dressing, and those house made croutons were next level. Whether you’re local or just passing through, Herman 311 is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back — and asking for Angelo and Ruth by name!

I took my family to Herman 311 for seafood and we were pleasantly surprised to find that it was part of a steakhouse right next to it called Kaboclo. We ordered from both; a massive Tomahawk and a lobster fresh from the sea as well appetizers and sides Everything we ordered was delicious. They had a large outdoor dining area with music and beautiful ambiance. We asked to move inside when my daughters started to feel cold from the evening breeze. The interior dining room was even more lovely with classy decorations and large mural of flowers and an giant octopus. The icing on the overall experience was the great service provided by our server, Voja, who gave us great recommendations and kindly explained the food to us. He genuinely made us feel welcomed. Can't really go wrong with this beautiful restaurant.

What a wonderful place to eat! The service was perfect, very attentive, and gave us recommendations and some things to try on the house. The food was flavored well and tasted delicious! We started with the Classic Ceviche and a Caesar salad, both great choices. For our main, we shared the tomahawk, cooked to perfection with a wonderful chimichurri. We paired it with a great Argentinian malbec. This was a great intimate spot. It is combined with another restaurant. They have a great wine selection and a full bar. I very much recommend it!

11/10 Angelo was our waiter and did an amazing job. Food was also 11/10 chefs kiss. Highly recommend. Not the cheapest place I’m sure but not over priced and definitely worth every penny.

Decided to venture off from resort food and try something around the area. Service and food were amazing. I had Lobster and my wife had grilled fish (whole fish). Food was on point. Our server Richy was very attentive and pleasant. Lots of sitting outside and lots of wine. Lol. Would go back.

Everything was amazing! All of the waiters were great and the lobster was spectacular! A special thanks to Jonny for making my birthday one I'll never forget. Safe area, I definitely recommend this place for solo travelers.

Beautiful family friendly restaurant. The staff is very helpful and welcoming. The dishes are a bit on the expensive side but they are well executed and presented. We especially enjoyed the ceviche, shrimp cocktail and the pecao frito.

Wonderful place to have a beachy lunch! Sweet staff, good drinks, and bug menu. They were very flexible and changed my drink and main course for me as a vegetarian! Thank you! Only negative was that the dish my husband wanted was out (Mahi sandwich) but they had it as tacos.

Great lunch.we ate steak with fries, red snapper with grilled veggies,tuna tartare and salad. we paid $180 for 2 ( for me that is expensive) but food was delicious,(we share dishes) great service and beautiful beach.

Nice quiet beach, not too busy with some bars and restaurants available. Calm waves and soft white sand with tiny little crabs in the water aggressively cute. The only inconvenient is the seaweed which is present sometimes after an offshore storm, excepting this is an excellent beach.

We loved the catamaran, they really made it fun for everyone. They even stop in the center of the water and let you hang out in like 4 feet of water. They provide drinks. Side by side excursion is what it's called. The staff was super great!!!!

Playa Blanca Resturant is a top pick of mine when i come to DR. One of the best restaurants on the beach for the price! Food is amazing and service is great! Only problem i have is they rudley asked us to leave becuase they were closing. Otherwise fantastic time at Playa Blanca. The beach was covered in seaweed and not a good beach in my opinion!

A great place to eat a mixture of local and tourist spot. We had lunch there however they also have a great nightlife with karaoke and other events. We did not participate in any of these just had our lunch. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.Willing to take the time to answer our questions and recommend our dining selections. The sancocho, per staff there most Dominican dish, was outstanding. Be aware that if you’ve never had this before it may contain bone. Even though it was a hot summer day this dish was delicious and filling. The atmosphere is comfortable. Holly recommend and will return

We went here almost every day of our trip. When other restaurants disappointed us we found ourselves back at Castaway! The snapper dinner 10/10 would recommend. The Miami vice drink and espresso martini was always made perfect! Staff was friendly and always inviting. Food was always made fresh. The environment was always clean and charming! Great place if you’re looking for good food and vibes. The 3lbs snapper we had on our last day and if you are in a group I would suggest that.

Vanessa was an excellent server and really helpful with menu choices (fluent English). Quite enjoyed the Grouper, moist and delicious. Street side patio can be a little noisy but not their fault, and they have AC inside as well. Premium price but quality product. All local prices are up 🤷🏼‍♂️. I'd go back 👍🏼.

Excellent service from Vanessa our waitress and delicious food and place to eat if you like seafood. I had the dorado a la plancha with Corolla sauce and it was fantastic. We went again for dinner and enjoyed the live music they have on Sunday nights. The performer is excellent and performs just about any request. He was an amazing and so was the food and staff. Will definitely return in the near future!

I can honestly say after 5 days in Punta. Cana, I have not been thrilled about food options here, but this cafe satisfied me. I'm only sad I tried it on my last morning, so only had it once. I placed my order for pick up on the way to the airport. I had the American breakfast my teen had the Dominican breakfast. The pancake looked burnt, but didn't taste burnt. The flavor was good and it's a huge fluffy pancake.The Dominican breakfast, I'm assuming that was good too, because my teen ate it all. Each breakfast was about $12 USD each. Service was friendly and fast. I'm disappointed there was no to-go cup for me to get a coffee on the run, no plastic knife only forks, and the bacon is thin. Minor complaints. All in all I recommend. Great spot in the heart of tourists filled Punta Cana. We went there twice, the first time for breakfast (no picture) and it was nothing impressive but our server was top notch. So much that we decided to go again for dinner. Unfortunately, she wasn't there that time but our food was good. I had the fish ceviche with plantain chips and I could have had that again and again. Nice atmosphere, too.

10/10. The prices were good and the service was even better. I had the cajan shrimp pasta and Caesar salad. The food was amazing. Our group of 10 was the only ones at the restaurant at the time we went and all service was on us. The bartender made some really good drinks for us as well. They were very accommodating when we said we were cold sitting under the air. They were able to adjust. Also the fried devil eggs were so good. They do play music and it was R&B chill vibe. Not loud at all.

This was such a cute place. Great atmosphere, very pretty. Great menu. Food was DELICIOUS, well priced. The staff was great - very patient with our English speaking party and helped us celebrate a birthday by bringing our flan and a flaming candle... It was EPIC! Reason for 4 stars - they were out of a few things that made ordering for a large party a little difficult. We came in off season. The music was too loud in my opinion.

I had an interesting story from this restaurant, I left behind my charger in there, but the staff were kind enough to help me have it before my flight .... Excellent apps and friendly service. Reservations during high season is a must. My favourite restaurant in Punta Cana Village! Definitely recommend the Dragon Roll and Carpaccio.

Phenomenal food, excellent service, and the perfect atmosphere. We had a reservation for 8 people. The evening was described by all: “The perfect evening” “Exceeded all expectations” “Couldn’t have asked for a better night.”

And they had a fresh juice bar where they blend of your fruit selections.. Also they cook fried rice or fried noodle from your choices right in front of you. The BBQ section served char-grilled steaks, octopus, shrimps & etc and they were all beyond good! They opened for breakfast and dinner, but closed during the lunch hours. Definately my favorite of all restaurants here in Hard Rock Punta Cana. One more, all waitress & waiters were super kind.💗💚💙💜💛 And this super great restaurant does not ask for a reservation.

Isla is inside the Hard Rock resort so these questions don't apply. It's one of a couple locations to get breakfast and they do a remarkable job considering the number of resort guests that come through every morning.

Hands down, the best place to eat at Hard Rock Hotel in Punta Cana. Great, happy and polite service. Try the stewed goat, the best dish there also the chinese fried rice, lo main were very good. The food highlight of our trip.

We enjoyed our experience dining at Mediterraneo. I highly recommend the cured salmon dish. I’ve only had better in Paris. Also the staff is excellent. Robinson did a phenomenal job and took great care of us. We planned to eat at Mediterreano once during our trip but the food and staff was so good we ate here twice!

The food is incredible! Their Chef is Italian who traveled a lot and acquired hai experience in many countries including his native Italy, France, Thailand, and Nordic countries, hence he brings those tastes to the dishes that intricately decorated and taste amazing! I would replace the tables in the restaurants though, to my taste. They bring the elevated experience down a notch.

Absolutely disappointed I got very sick soon as I had the card with muscles. I almost went our way to go back to my villa to throw up and a diary that never happened to me in the past. The best food of our stay (and that’s a lot to say because every restaurant at Eden Roc was fantastic)! The ambiance, the service, the music, everything was perfect. The food was more than good… I really hope I can get back one day and enjoy Mediterráneo ones again.

The only experience close to a “luxury” experience was dinner at this restaurant but sadly it is part of the worst hotel I have ever been. Don’t come here if you are looking for real premium vacations...

The WORST gastronomic experience in Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 We recently visited the Mediterranean restaurant for dinner, we had high expectations as we have had gastronomic experiences in Cap Cana in other restaurants. The service was friendly but very unprofessional, they didn’t have 2 of the wine options that we wanted to order, the sommelier recommended a wine because it was from a nearby region that the one they didn’t have, after trying to convince us that it was very similar to the one we wanted they brought the bottle which was not even tempered(white wine) after opening the bottle and tasting it I pointed that it had a very particular flavor of apple juice cider, the sommelier then asked if she could drink from our wine to taste it, we said ok a little bit confused… after tasting she said, honestly I didn’t try this wine before, it has just arrived last month and the owner doesn’t give us tasting, he is the one that chooses the wine. Then she came with a glass of apple juice so we can compare that it was just as drinking apple juice, we mentioned that the wine she suggested was not similar at all to what we wanted. No option was offered to change wine. The food was completely average and not worth it at all for its price, prices would not include taxes, the red snapper that I ordered was about 100 grams, it came with no side dish just the small fish fillet. We spent about $250 for 1 appetizer, 2 main dishes, and a very bad bottle of wine. We were very disappointed at Eden Roc, we considered our experience a waste of time and money.

I come to this restaurant every year as my farewell lunch. Perfect location-wise; beach restaurante surrounded by trees - the views and setting are the key traits of the olace. The food is nice as well - I recommend ordering the pizzas from their traditional wood furnace and the chicharrones.

My trip is still in progress but I can say even with the rain here and there this place is amazing! Everyone is so nice and helpful!! Most importantly I came here to say the waitress ALTAGRACIA is PHENOMENAL!!! She is everything and anything I could ask for in a waitress thoughtful, super sweet and just lovely !! The bartender in the excellence lounge is also amazing !!!! Or “soooo good!” As he would say lol. Adney and Jonathan from Gusto Restaurant also deserve recognition for their hospitality and friendly attitude that made each meal enjoyable. All the staff at de Gusto were exceptional. The kids’ club team (Ana and Esdras) was impressive. They cared for the children with patience, creativity, and offered new activities every day. Overall Impression Finest Punta Cana stands out not only for its beauty but above all for its people. The staff members truly care about their guests and go above and beyond to make every stay special.

Let me start by saying the resort itself is very nice and luxurious. The atmosphere and overall property are beautiful. However, the food was disappointing at several of the restaurants. The buffet, in particular, was a miss most of the times we went — the food often wasn’t fresh, many items were room temperature, and some were either hard or very dry. The à la carte restaurants were hit or miss as well. The Mexican restaurant, Lizo, and the Brass Steakhouse were definitely the better options. Unfortunately, much of the food throughout the resort seemed under-seasoned or lacking flavor. On a positive note, our room was beautiful, and we really enjoyed staying on the adults’ side of the resort. That said, if you’re looking for a fully adults-only experience, you may want to consider an all-adult resort. While the adults’ section has its own pool and a few exclusive dining options, some restaurants and the main lobby bar still allow children. Overall, the service was excellent, the resort itself was beautiful, but the food was the biggest letdown. Would I return? Probably not — primarily because of the food quality.

This is my second time at this location. Last year, Oct 2024, I had my wedding here and it was amazing. This year, my time was just as great. The service is always top notch. Staff is attentive, anything you ask for is done quickly. Rather at the beach or walking around, you will be greeted and asked if you need anything. The restaurants are usually nice, with dinner having the largest options. One night my husband and I ate at Brass (shoutout to our waiter Kevin!!!!) and the steak was so tender and delicious. The scenery and vibe is immaculate. Our goal was to just relax and that’s exactly what we did. The Spa, expensive, but well worth it! A few negatives, but didn’t effect our trip: This was an anniversary trip for my husband and I, which I mentioned a few times so I was disappointed we did not get the anniversary banner on our door. The solicitors on the beach are aggressive, and it’s one after the other. You have to be very stern with. The minibar was not refilled daily.

We had an overall great experience at this resort! The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable, although ours was a bit noisy at times. We felt safe during our entire stay, which made it easy to relax and enjoy our vacation. There were plenty of food and drink options to choose from, and it was pretty good for an all inclusive resort. One of the best parts was how family-friendly the resort is — there are lots of fun activities for kids, and even the restaurants have play areas so parents can actually enjoy their meals while the little ones are entertained. Our absolute favorite spot was the coffee and sweets shop! The treats were great, and the ladies working there were incredibly kind and welcoming — they really made our days brighter. We are a family group of 8, reunited after 8 years apart, and choosing this hotel for such a special occasion was the best decision we could have made. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. Check-in was smooth and welcoming, with our rooms ready and everything perfectly prepared for us. The entire facility is spotless, and the subtle scent of bergamot throughout the resort adds a luxurious, calming touch. We enjoyed the included hydrotherapy session at the spa, and it was incredibly relaxing 30 minutes of pure bliss! The spa is truly a sanctuary. The food is simply outstanding. We have tried The Brass, Dommo, and the main buffet so far and every single meal is delicious with an impressive variety. We didn’t have a single complaint, just compliments all around. But what truly has made this trip unforgettable is the incredible service and staff. They’ve made us feel so special and cared for. A few standouts who deserve special recognition: Wilson at the Excellence Club Bar, who made the best drinks, my husband loves the gin tonic! The entertainment team — Jeremi, Araceli, and July — who constantly checked in on us and kept us laughing and entertained. Lalena at the buffet ensured every request was met (and more). She is the number one, thank you Lalena!!! Wadi, in charge of the Dommo restaurant provided top-tier service and attention that left us speechless. Oscar Gutierrez, the main chef, always checking on ous, we loved the tacos he sent us. Ivan, Oleybis, Yanisa, and Cristian were always going above and beyond with warm, attentive service. We felt so well taken care of during our stay. One example that stood out was when we mentioned wanting fresh fried fish — the staff went above and beyond to make it happen. They even coordinated with the closest hotel to get the fish and prepared it specially for us the next day. It was such a thoughtful touch and made our experience unforgettable My grandmother had the time of her life — she absolutely adored everyone and felt so loved and pampered throughout the stay. We’re beyond grateful for this experience. The entire team made our family reunion feel even more meaningful. There are more names we wish we could remember, but please know how thankful we are to everyone at Finest Punta Cana. We are already planning our return. My experience so far has been phenomenal!! This was my first time trying out an all inclusive and I can definitely say it did not disappoint, in fact, it exceeded my expectations. The open bar, the food , and the very lovely staff have made this vacation unforgettable! Special shoutout to Yahaira! She hooked my wife up with a massage and the wifey loved it! I recommend to any one planning a trip to punta cana.

We bought tickets for a Boat Tour with snorkeling and swimming at natural pool with Marina Caribe. It was the $59 fee. We did not buy the ticket that you get dinner at their restaurant afterwards. The Boat tour provided mix drinks and beers throughout and a ham sandwich for snack after snorkeling. Staff Roniny Jamili was pleasant. Overall, all the staff on the boat were very accommodating, fun and friendly. I was surprised however that the boat didn’t go further out into the sea for the snorkeling experience. Snorkeling was done near where the Boats were parked (where the guests were picked up from shore and then transported by a small boat to the main Boat.). But I figured this is were the beautiful clear water was and so it was no problem. I think snorkeling was 30-45 minutes long. Then the boat went to this shallow sandbar where the other boats tours were and we are to swim, more like socialize with others. Again drinks were flowing. I think the only bad part about that sandbar area is that it was dark water and mirky. It would have been a better experience if the sandbar was on the clear turquoise water. Other than that, we made the best of what we got. And the crew were all friendly and fun. Thank you so much

Amazing staff!!! Awesome Caribbean cruise!! Delicious food!! I had a marvelous time with the staff on a caribbean cruise. My man had a great time snorkeling and experienced the natural pool. Absolutely amazing!! They even had soft drinks and rum on the yacht!! We danced and laughed. The staff was the best!! The Caribbean cruise was definitely a highlight of my trip to Punta Cana!! I highly recommend Marina Caribe beach club and caribbean cruise.

Do not go it’s the worst experience ever , paid for a VIP catameran experience through nexus Sunwing was told this was a vip service with a beautiful boat on the brochure , with premium drinks and food . Was nothing like that over 75 people no premium drinks or food and the boat was unsafe . Complained to nexus and Sunwing and the operators and the did nothing at all . Again big rip off

Worst experience ever. There is nothing VIP in the platinum cruise. Worst « suppose to be » snorkeling experience. There is nothing to see. The boat isn’t a catamaran. And finally, the diner was poor. They were suppose to serve lobster but we had shrimps!!!

View and ambience phenomenal! Food marginal at best. Chicken breast might as been chicken jerky. Lobster was better but we were never offered drawn butter.

Starters (goat cheese bonbons, foie gras terrine, etc) were good but went downhill from there. My wife requested her salmon well done but arrived undercooked. They apologized & replaced it. The rack of lamb tasted like it was resurrected from the deep freeze & lost its gamey flavor. Service though was impeccable and the staff were courteous friendly & attentive. The atmosphere was formal with French music playing.

I wouldn't call this a steakhouse as there are only 2 steak options and one of the options is terrible. This restaurant is a warm, sophisticated, adults only atmosphere designed for the person that enjoys a fine dining experience however that's not what you get. The service here is excellent. It's actually impeccable throughout the resort but the food was lacking. I had the "fried" calamari to start and although I wasn't expecting deep fried I also wasn't expecting barely touched by the pan. I wasn't able to eat it. My husband had the Foie Gras and enjoyed it. We both had the ribeye and the steak was so tough and chewy we couldn't eat the middle and they were out of the potato gratin so they put cheese on top of our mashed potatoes. That was actually the best part. For dessert I asked for the fruit which I thought was a tart based on the description but instead I was served fruit. Underripe fruit. My husband ordered the passion fruit tiramisu and it was the single worst bite of food either of us had ever had. An unbelievable miss on flavours.

We had dinner here and our server was Jimmy who was absolutely excellent. The food here is good except I didn't enjoy the flavour of any of the seafood in this entire resort. everything had a terrible texture and a bad flavour like it was obviously previously frozen. The steaks however were all fairly good. Cooked and seasoned well. We started with the lobster Mac and Cheese and a lobster bisque. The seafood flavour in the Mac was overwhelming and it didn't need the flying fish roe on top. I actually picked out the langostiens and just ate the noodles. The lobster bisque did have a nice flavour though. For entree's I had the ribeye with shrimp and my husband had the salmon and duck breast. Both were exceptional except my shrimp. The food presentation was also on point. This restaurant has a modern city atmosphere. I wouldn't call it a romantic vibe though. I also don't recommend the hazelnut dessert thing, it's just a ball of raisins and soft unpleasant tasting chocolate.

Mixed Experience at Surf & Turf at the Finest Resort. I recently dined at this restaurant during my stay, expecting a delicious meal. Unfortunately, the service was considerably slower than at other restaurants within the resort. Despite the service, the food had some highlights. The grouper and beef tacos were particularly tasty, with nicely seasoned and crispy shells. However, due to a lack of shrimp available that particular night , I was offered a lobster tail as a substitute for my ribeye and shrimp dish. While the ribeye was well-seasoned and a good size, the lobster tail was underwhelming. It lacked seasoning and, as evidenced by the photo, contained very little meat. Overall: Given the availability of other excellent dining options within the Finest Resort, I would likely skip Surf & Turf on future visits. Perhaps my experience was simply due to an off night. I'm a big fan of sushi and this restaurant scratched the itch. The Tataki was good and the dessert was fantastic! The champagne was also good for $55 (cremant de bordeux). The dragon roll didn't have eel and the filling was skimpy. My wife in gluten free and they easily accommodated her by cooling salmon by using tamari instead of soy sauce. Overall it was a good meal and I would eat here again, but not a favorite. If they can get a proper sushi chef this could be a winner in the future.
