The Guggenheim Museum Bilbao is a stunning titanium and glass structure designed by Frank Gehry, showcasing major 20th-century artworks. It's located in Bilbao, a city that beautifully blends old and new. The museum is accessible via the unique Zubri Zuri Bridge, which has become an attraction in itself. While visiting, don't miss walking along the River Nervion for breathtaking views of the museum's futuristic architecture.
Such a fantastic showcase of different art forms and a spectacular building. A definite must see when you are in Bilbao. Book tickets in advance for sure as it does get busy, I booked for the first slot at 10am and it was quiet but by the time I got to the end of my visit it was much busier. Can easily spend a couple of hours in the museum itself and more outside in the sculpture gardens and walkways.
David B — Google review
Had a lovely time at the Guggenheim Museum. It was definitely smaller than expected but still a fun and entertaining experience. Tickets are definitely on the pricier side but I’d say worth it. We didn’t get tickets in advance but thankfully there was just a small line to get tickets. I visited on a Friday. There’s 3 floors and I’d say that 2 hours would be more than enough to see everything + take pictures. The building has amazing architecture both externally and internally.
D — Google review
Loved the Guggenheim in Bilbao. The building is beautiful. Inside, I really enjoyed this one area with huge bold texts and pieces that felt super activist-like. Not sure what to call that type of art, but it was powerful and really cool to walk through. Definitely a museum that makes you stop and think while also just being an awesome place to see
Erick T — Google review
A absolutely place to come visit. Depending on what is in exhibit, you will find different tastes of art. Art with self expression was an inspiring sight. Will need around 2-4 hours to view all. The outside of the museum has more sculptures to appreciate as well as the “puppy” in o admire.
Leiby S — Google review
An absolute must-see when visit Bilbao. Outside and also the exhibition. The rooms seems to be larger than from outside. Really great! I was in the morning where it is empty! I didn't use any guide or smartphone. For me art need to touch you, or not. Any description can not cover this. Art is the moment where You are touched ♥️. But also CRcodes are available to scan. Entrance fee is 18€, which is full ok. You can directly go- no need to prebook in September. The museum has 3floors with good signs and directions. I spend 2hours. This time is ok, I think. I visited also the cafe, which is very good also.
R. A — Google review
It’s world-famous for a reason! I am in no way well-versed in art but I really enjoyed all 3 floors of the museum. I appreciated the variety of media, artists, eras, and kind of art featured here. I think what made it more fun was how interactive some of them are, and some exhibitions were also larger than life. It featured both big and rising, international and local names in the industry which was a great way to highlight other people in the industry. I appreciated how organized the museum was as well. There was a Yayoi Kusama exhibition, which would normally take forever to see but they planned it very well. It was a really quick few seconds to see it but this made the line go faster and didn’t hold up anyone who wanted to see it. The featured artist at that time was also very talented and fun to see! Lots of interactive and dynamic art featured that changed the experience for the viewer every room we visited. We also didn’t buy tickets ahead and I really thought we missed our chance, but the museum allotted tickets for walk-in visitors. The line went so fast as well which we appreciated a lot. So it was a very pleasant experience!!
Kim M — Google review
Spectacular treat just to view it from the outside. We went in the doors and explored the lobby gift shop and absolutely incredible short video they provide for free. Just this and the outside art could be enough for you? We didn’t have enough time to explore further, but we’re in awe of what we did see and architecture. They were replanting the flower dog in early October.

Guggenheim Museum Bilbao – An Architectural and Artistic Masterpiece As photographers for Photolator, visiting the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao was a feast for the eyes and the lens. Designed by Frank Gehry, this world-renowned museum is as much a work of art as the masterpieces it houses. Its sweeping titanium curves, shimmering in the sunlight, change character with the time of day, offering endless photographic possibilities from every angle. The surrounding area adds to the magic — from the playful “Puppy” flower sculpture to the striking riverside setting, each step offers a new composition. Inside, the museum’s spacious, light-filled galleries are home to exceptional contemporary art, thoughtfully displayed to inspire both art lovers and photographers alike. Service is impeccable, the layout is intuitive, and the atmosphere encourages both contemplation and creativity. For photographers, the Guggenheim is not just a cultural stop, but a dynamic canvas where light, form, and art converge. For Photolator, it stands as a prime example of architecture and art harmonizing to create an unforgettable visual experience. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Estadio de San Mamés, also known as The Cathedral, is a must-visit in Bilbao. It's the largest football stadium in the Basque Country and the 8th largest in Spain. The stadium has received accolades such as the World Design Awards 2020.
Fantastico. Visited the stadium whilst in the area on a cruise. Metro in and return for €16.80 for a family of 4 (rather than the €68 being charged on the shuttle bus!) €40 got us full access to the stadium tour and museum. Fantastic value. A must for any football fan 🔴⚪️⚽️

I loved the stadium tour and the museum is extremely well done. Our guide was very knowledgeable and patient as she had to repeat the tour in English for us. I’m looking forward to coming back for a match this season.

A beautiful stadium that has some bars and restaurants at the top in the corners that can be visited outside of match games too (so I was told). Atmosphere on match day was good, fans seemed friendly and welcoming to us from London.

As a football/soccer fan this was a great tour of an iconic stadium, including the stands, changing rooms, press suit and museum. My partner (a non-football fan) who I dragged along found it really interesting & engaging as well! A win-win 😀.

Amazing multi-purpose center. Freely accessible, some parts even without the ticket. Very interesting architecture, free access to roof terrace with nice view. Totally worth it to visit If you like architecture, art and culture.

An incredible space! The combination of culture, leisure, library and beautiful architecture is one of the things I love about Bilbao. We went to an incredible exhibition in the basement before checking out the rest of the building. I would highly recommend a trip here if you are visiting Bilbao for a few days!

It was a pleasant experience, the space it's huge and the exhibition was interesting ( but a little disturbing for me) All sugest blood and more blood...So I think that the Japanese artist was a little obsessed... Good thing , it was no tickets to pay 😉
Paraschiv G — Google review
Very unique experience. Space for artists and and people who love art. Many bars, cafes and butiques. You can also visit the terrace with beautiful views. I visited temporary exhibition My house is your house, which opened my eyes and showed me new views of many situations.
Klara K — Google review
A beautiful space with a spectacular free art exhibition. Lots of free space for children to run around and for adults to explore especially during rainy days in Bilbao. There are restaurants and theatre, and a small shop selling art.

This building is really stunning. So many different activity offers there, impressive architecture, funny interior and lots of things to explore. It offers gastronomy, an exhibition, cinema, rooftop terrace, etc. Probably one of the highlights is the rooftop pool with a glass bottom. So you can see the people swimming while you are in the centre’s ground floor.

The Museum of Fine Arts of Bilbao is a renowned art venue that boasts an extensive collection featuring works by prominent artists such as Velázquez, Goya, and Picasso. The museum also showcases pieces by Basque artists, adding a local touch to its exhibits.
Nice, small-ish museum with interesting exhibits. It was partially under construction which most likely limited the space but made it a very manageable museum to see in an hour. It was also free of charge.
Terri M — Google review
Under renovation, the exhibition is limited, but it is free to enter. Apart from a whole section filled with inflated plastic which is unexplained and hazardous to elderly visitors, there are some interesting works and a few masterpieces. A good place to come on a rainy day. Not suitable for children or people who need accessible space. After renovation this will probably change and the experience will be better.
Lighthouse C — Google review
👍🏽 Fantastic FREE museum with mostly modern + some contemporary & renaissance pieces. 1-2 hours. Free large lockers + bathroom downstairs (there’s an elevator, but bathrooms didn’t look accessible). Grab a folding stool on the first floor under the stairs to make your visit more comfortable. If I lived here, I’d come every month! Not recommended for children (at least not this set of exhibits Sep 2025).
Spence — Google review
In June 2025 the museum was undergoing substantial building work. As a result, only part of the collection was on display. But entry was free, instead of 7 Euros, during the building work. Part of the available display space was taken up with modern art consisting of enormous inflated balloons, each one occupying a whole room. From my point of view this was a waste of the limited available space. However the five rooms devoted to classical paintings, including El Greco and his contemporaries, were very interesting.
Graham G — Google review
The Museum of Fine Arts in Bilbao is a nice, smaller museum. The collection wasn’t too impressive, and one installation spread across many rooms felt confusing. That said, the visit is pleasant and can be done in about an hour. Good option if you’re looking for something quieter than the Guggenheim.
Rui T — Google review
End of August 2025. Still reconstruction, so free entrance. Few masterpieces, Max Ernst, some big inflations, two El Grecos. Nice and kind visit.
Jaroslav Z — Google review
Its under major renovation but still has a small area open for free, some great works by el greco and goya, also some interesting temporary audio visual exhibition linking flamenco with the geography and psychology of 9 inhabitants as they walk the streets of Sevilla.
Lionel R — Google review
Some interesting pieces, but some left me a little cold or confused. However, as renovations are being carried out, our visit was free. And it was another "should see" done during our 3 days in Bilbao

Located in the former Euskalduna shipyard, Itsasmuseum Bilbao is a unique museum that showcases the city's deep connection with the sea and its maritime history. The museum offers a comprehensive exploration of Bilbao's seafaring traditions and shipbuilding legacy through interactive exhibits, artifacts, and multimedia displays in a modern building along the Nervion River.
Came here to escape from being outside during a very windy day and I ended up loving this museum. Compared to the Guggenheim, this place barely had any visitors when I came. There was a lot to see and a lot of maritime history to learn about, I even got to learn about the history of the city of Bilbao here. There was also several videos and short films to watch and all of them had English translations which was great. This museum was a pleasant surprise and one that I'm glad I visited.
Luke B — Google review
Very informative museum with engaging videos and exhibits in multiple languages. Would definitely recommend a visit and was not too busy at all. The service was great and overall layout was well planned
Darach G — Google review
Did a museum ever make you feel like you’re sailing through history? The Itsasmuseum pulls you into Bilbao’s maritime soul with its gritty, vibrant story of the Ría de Bilbao. I spent over two hours wandering through detailed ship models and interactive displays, totally hooked. The outdoor docks, with real boats like the iconic gabarra used by Athletic Club to celebrate victories, are just as captivating. I learned the museum sits on the old Euskalduna shipyard site, where modern Basque shipbuilding kicked off in 1900. Tickets are just €6, and trust me, it’s a steal for this immersive dive into the sea’s legacy.
Patrick K — Google review
A small museum with a lovely collection of artefacts about Bilbao’s maritime history and city’s development as an important port. It is an ideal place for school trip or educational tour for school children with a lot of interactive displays - videos, storytelling, old and new maritime artefacts. Videos are in three languages, including English, Spanish and French. Can consider to visit if you are travelling with school age children or during rainy days for an indoor visit. About 15 walks from Guggenheim along the river so very accessible.
Vivian W — Google review
Wonderful museum that is well worth a visit. More to see here than in the Guggenheim!

Bilbao Arena is a versatile indoor arena with a seating capacity of 10,000, serving as the home ground for Bilbao Basket. In addition to basketball games, it hosts various sports events such as the Women's European Volleyball Championship. The arena's modern sound and lighting systems make it an ideal venue for concerts, attracting renowned artists like Sting, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Shakira.
Easy parking albeit expensive. Great sound.
Roy D — Google review
I recently attended the Alejandro Fernández concert, and while his performance was phenomenal, my experience as a front-row ticket holder was very disappointing due to the venue’s strict policies. We paid a premium for front-row seats, expecting an unforgettable experience with the freedom to stand, dance, and truly enjoy the energy of the concert. Instead, security constantly told us to sit down every time we tried to stand and engage with the music. It felt ridiculous and completely counter to the lively atmosphere you’d expect at a concert. Being in the front row should enhance the experience, not restrict it. The artist gave his all on stage, and it’s a shame that the strict rules prevented fans from reciprocating that energy. I sincerely hope the venue reconsiders such policies in the future, as they diminish what could otherwise be a memorable night.

With space for 10.014 people, this place hosts the Bilbao Basket RETAbet. The construction of this stadium was in a totally new neighborhood built up from scratch over an old mine, it cost 38 million of euro and It was finished in 2010. I was watching the Bilbao Basket RETAbet playing against Chocolates Trapa Palencia, 5th match PlayOffs of Liga Oro 2018/2019 for coming to the first division ACB. The local team won over 17 points and it was a full house. The visibility is very good and it is confortable to sit. I didn’t be in the bar so I can not say anything about it but I´ve heard that you can buy some pintxos and no alcoholic drinks. Apart of the basketball court there are swimming pools and different gym for the use of the neighborhood. The building was designed by the firm ACXT-Idom and it was awarded by ArchDaily like Sport Building of the year in 2011

Palacio Euskalduna is a remarkable performance and convention center located in the heart of Bilbao. It was built on the site of a former shipyard and designed by renowned architect Frank O. Inaugurated in 1999, this unique building represents a vessel under construction and houses a conference center, concert hall, as well as other facilities like cafes, restaurants, and shopping centers.
The Euskalduna Palace, also known as the Euskalduna Conference Center and Concert Hall, is a renowned landmark in Bilbao, Spain. It's a multipurpose complex featuring a concert hall, opera house, and conference facilities. Here's a quick rundown of the Euskalduna Palace: * Designed by architects Federico Soriano and Dolores Palacios. * Opened in February 1999. * Symbolic of Bilbao's transformation from an industrial center to a cultural hub. * Houses a 2,164-seat main auditorium for performances like theater, ballet, concerts, and opera. * Offers facilities for conferences, meetings, and other events. On the other side of the building there is a small artificial lake that seems to merge with the river and on which there is a statue of Terpsichore Muse of the Dance, made by Salvador Dalí.

The conference center is large and impressive. The wifi was good, there were plenty of bathrooms and the sound technicians were very helpful. Unfortunately, it's internal structure is terribly convoluted and confusing (very artistic with deep metaphorical value, I'm sure). Multiple times, we could see our end destination just across from the balcony we were on (on the same level) or just on the other side of some ill-placed glass, but had no way to get there without traversing at least two flights of stairs.

The best auditorium I ever visited in my life. I went there for ITSC2023. We visited the whole building and it was a nice experience

I think the building needs some renovation, but still it works. The auditorium is impressive and it was a pleasure to listen to a concert there. It is a little hard to find your way due to the complex architecture.

Bilbao City Hall, a 19th-century architectural gem, offers a picturesque view from across the river with its French-inspired design featuring three archways and eight pillars. The building's roof boasts an impressive steeple and clock, adding to its imperial charm. Visitors can explore the Old Quarter's medieval streets, admire the Santiago Cathedral from outside, and enjoy a tour of the Guggenheim Museum to see remarkable art pieces.
Fabulous city, well planned & designed buildings and architecture. Spacious paths/ walkways around city both for locals & tourists. Complements to the city for providing these spaces for everyone to enjoy. Travelling on a train to day, seriously you could eat of the floor it was so clean. Please try and accommodate the tourists more with signs & within the tourists areas. But great to visit...

We joined the tour to see the inside of the town hall. It is really beautiful and amazing. The visit has to be booked in advance by email. The guide was very good and provided a lot of stories and information.

Maybe it is not the first place you think of when going to visit places in Bilbao, however it is more than worth it. The guides make the experience enjoyable by including curious anecdotes and jokes to the visit of the city hall, which becomes a walk down history lane. The inside of the building is majestic and provides testimony of the taste and innovative style of the Basque people.

Each time I pass by Bilbao to go France it’s a really terrible experience. The city smells SO BAD! And the lighting at night is totally insane!!!! Even worst than Hong Kong ! It’s the worst city in terms of light pollution ever. When it’s time to reduce energy waste. I will never stay in this city. Shame on you for doing this.

The Iberdrola Tower is a prominent skyscraper in Bilbao, standing as the city's tallest building with 40 floors of office space and an auditorium. Designed by architect Cesar Pelli, this impressive structure was constructed using sustainable materials and completed in 2011. Its sleek design, reaching a height of 165 meters and spread over 41 floors, makes it a striking feature on the city skyline.

The Teatro Campos Elíseos Antzokia, located in Bilbao, is a stunning example of art nouveau architecture. Designed by local architect Alfredo Acebal and French decorator Jean Batiste Darroguy, the theater's exterior features a prominent arch with rich art nouveau decorations. It has become an integral part of Bilbao's cultural scene, offering a blend of classic and modern facilities for various performances.
It was my first time in this theatre to watch Viana with my son and we just enjoyed it so much. He loved every second of the show and the place has a very nice seating area.
R — Google review
The theatre is beautiful. It's small and a great option with a variety of shows for families and children. Sadly I was disappointed with the customer service as although we were told when we called that they open the doors at 11.30 at 11.35 we were still standing in the rain with small children and to make matters worse a worker from the theatre came out to rudely tell us that the whole queue was queuing in front of the exit door thus blocking it. She was extremely rude and proceeded to enter slamming the door leaving us in the rain feeling quite annoyed. It was a birthday present for my daughter and although the performance was lovely and we enjoyed it these small things really give a bad impression to the customer. If you work with the public you should mind the way you behave or do another job.

The Teatro Campos Elíseos is an important part of Bilbao' s culture. I went to see a local presentation of Basc art and music and enjoyed. The Museo Athletic Club, located within the modern San Mames Stadium in Bilbao, offers an unforgettable experience for football enthusiasts and Athletic Club supporters. It goes beyond being just a football museum, as it is deeply intertwined with the identity of the region. (Translated by Google) The restaurant is located near Amezola Park, and our experience was very positive. The restaurant has a well-maintained, welcoming space and a pleasant atmosphere in which to enjoy the meal. The service was good; the staff served us in a friendly and efficient manner. As for the food, the dishes were very well prepared and had excellent flavors. I especially recommend the cachopo Alhóndiga and the sirloin Wellington, which I think are essential options for anyone visiting the restaurant. As for the desserts, although they were good, we didn't find them particularly outstanding. Even so, the restaurant's value for money is quite balanced, offering a recommendable dining experience without being expensive. Recomiendo especialmente el cachopo Alhóndiga y el solomillo Wellington, que me parecen opciones imprescindibles para quienes visiten el local. En cuanto a los postres, aunque estaban buenos, no nos parecieron especialmente destacables. (Translated by Google) The shops are useful, good, and well-equipped. The Eroski supermarket in the basement is outstanding. The restrooms in the shopping center are also accessible and super clean. The parking lot is accessed from the back street and is also very convenient and accessible. It's a shame it's not a very large shopping center and is practically empty, with stores that have closed or never reopened. The cafeteria is spacious, has a diverse, high-quality selection, and is very reasonably priced, but the shopping center as a whole has a somewhat run-down feel. It's not your typical shopping center for spending hours; instead, it's perfect for quick shopping trips or for meeting, sharing, or celebrating something in the cafeteria, as they can expand their space and capacity if an event is booked. (Original) Los establecimientos que hay son útiles ,buenos y completos. El supermercado Eroski del subterráneo es de sobresaliente. The Guggenheim is a must-visit for art and architecture enthusiasts. The museum's stunning design by Frank Gehry is a sight to behold, even from the outside. Inside, you can explore a diverse range of artworks, from well-known artists like Picasso and Monet to challenging modern pieces. The museum provides audio devices for self-guided tours, allowing you to delve into the exhibits at your own pace.

Jan L — Google review
Great place to visit, particularly on a wet and chilly day. You are supplied with a hand held audio device which explains the exhibits and you can listen to as many of those as you like. There are better known artists in one gallery, such as Picasa and Monet. In other galleries you get more challenging modern art pieces. There is a huge hanger with iron conicals and eclipses where the artist challenges your perceptions and balance. His material choice reflects the shipbuilding tradition of the city. If you want to go to the bistro or café you have to get a wrist band and leave the galleries. The cafe is small but not overcrowded when we called, bit pricey but to be expected. For 9 euros you can have 3 pintxos, fish based in the main. You can leave coats and large bags in the cloakroom free of charge. Smaller handbags can be carried with you. Very interesting and definitely one of the main attractions of Bilbao. Don't forget to look at the outside exhibits too. The audio explains them all.
ChrisG G — Google review
Wasn't worth the trip. I've been to many art museums in my travels and this was just the worst. I've always wanted to go to the Guggenheim, but I was quickly disappointed. First impression of the outside, Gehrys building looks to be falling apart, (even inside there were silver panels which looked crushed like no one is taking care of the building or even cares enough to try). On the inside, a very poor use of space and some very terrible employees... For instance, one exhibit had a few installations which were interactive, not labeled as such but you could tell because everyone was walking through and touching it. But same artist in that room had another piece and it was three metal doors with handles and the glass had an optical illusion. I was yelled at because I touched the metal door handle. Nothing in the room was labeled "you can touch" nor "don't touch", not even "no tocar". I was just supposed to know intuitively which pieces were interactive? Rude. At least label your exhibits properly, no need to be an a-hole. That wasn't the only thing, I witnessed employees being rude to other visitors, namely the coat check area. Even if that unnecessary experience hadn't happened, it was not worth the 6euros it cost to get in. The outdoor sculptures were what saved the entire trip, so it wasn't all a waste. Bilbao is also a very pretty city.

The Rascacielos de Bailen, Bilbao's first skyscraper, stands as a remarkable architectural achievement despite its unconventional nineteenth-century Chicago-style design. Its construction lasted 6 years from 1940 to 1946. It was the tallest for 22 years until the current Torre Bizkaia was built in 1968 in the Abando area, the beginning of the Gran Vía. For many years it was the headquarters of the Labor Judiciary, currently it belongs to ADIF. and the property is protected by the special Rehabilitation Plan of the ancient city. A certain rationalism can be seen on its façade, which strips the building of any trace of decoration or superfluous details. Bilboko Donejakue Katedrala, a Catholic cathedral dating back to the 14th century, boasts an understated Gothic-revival facade. Visitors can explore impressive art, beautiful stained glass windows, and captivating architecture, including the renowned rose window. The cathedral offers a self-paced tour with informative devices explaining different parts of the building. Notable features include the sacristy and cloister displaying historical vestments and a charming garden.
Had a great time visiting this magnificent cathedral. The audio guide was fine, but wasn't the best. You have to pay to get in, but the great thing is that you get two cathedrals for the price of one. Paying for an entry ticket here also grants you entry access to the nearby San Anton eliza as well which is great.
Luke B — Google review
Unfortunately, there is an entrance fee (which includes an audio guide) for the cathedral . Nonetheless, we were glad to have paid and visited the church. The cathedral is a bright place, full of light and a sight to behold! The architecture is beautiful and so are the stained glass windows. Don't miss the court and the gardens, reached via the sacristy, which contains a small museum.
S W — Google review
Entry is €8 and you can use the ticket to also visit Parroquia de San. The cathedral is pretty inside, but nothing or of the ordinary. The stain glass windows are very pretty, and there is a lovely cloister with lemon trees growing in the middle. There is a free audio guide available, but I found the information dreadfully dull and stopped listening fairly quickly. Dogs are not allowed inside.
Tom H — Google review
The best part is the cloister and garden, which is sadly overlooked by modern buildings but still lovely and cool on a hot day. The cathedral has a few pretty corners and interesting artifacts but is rather pricy for a tourist visit. If you are a person of faith then this is a pilgrim route stop and a place of interest.
Lighthouse C — Google review
The visit to cathedral is a great experience, has several museums inside. Entrace is 8 Euros and you can visit the San Anton church with the same ticket
Nihat K — Google review
Beautiful church, worth the 2 euro.
Jo T — Google review
Lovely church, with some fine pieces of ecclesiastical art from the Middle Ages to the 18th Century (and some lesser works from later). Would be better without the annoying tinned music. The audioguide is disappointing: it wastes a lot of time describing things we can see for ourselves, and doesn't bother to address the identity, function, and iconography of the various saints and virgins depicted. They seem to assume that everyone grew up in the Roman Church.
Jakob K — Google review
Naturally not the biggest cathedrals in Spain but still beautiful. Stained glass are wonderful and their audio guide is just on point - does not overwhelm with information / details.

Its pristine white exterior makes it a captivating sight, while inside, visitors are greeted by a peaceful atmosphere and beautiful architecture.
We visited this church in the afternoon and it was so solemn. We truly enjoyed the quiet and solitude away from the chaos. It’s my first time to see a digital candle-lighting, as well, where you drop the coin and the candle will light up.

A neo-Gothic Catholic church whose construction began in 1906 and was inaugurated on the eve of its patron saint's day, March 18, 1918. Designed by architect José María de Basterra and established as a parish church on December 15, 1970, it is located at the intersection of Elcano and Iparraguirre streets, facing the square of the same name. The entrance to the corner house on Calle de la Pelota is almost impossible to spot; another emblem next to the entrance, “La Bolsa (the stock exchange), indicates this. The most beautiful facade is on Pelota Street. The main door is flattened by cornices of mixed lines, in the façade in a niche one discovers the figure of the Virgin of Begoña. On Torre Street we find a simpler facade with a balcony and the coat of arms of four families from Biscay. The palace was built in ashlar stone (baroque architectural style) and has an inner courtyard. It consists of three floors, which are connected on the inside by a stone staircase. There are paid parking spaces nearby. (Original) Ich konnte am "Tag des offenen Denkmals" das Gebäude von innen besuchen und bis auf die Veranda gehen. Die schönste Fassade befindet sich in der Pelota Straße. Die Haupttür wird von Simsen von vermischten Linien abgeplattet, in der Fassade in einer eine Nische entdeckt man dien Figur der Jungfrau von Begoña. Auf der Torre Straße finden wir eine einfachere Fassade mit einem Balkon und dem Wappen von vier Familien aus Biskaya. It retains its exterior and much of its interior. It can be visited free of charge, as it currently serves as a cultural center, a customer service center, stalls, customer service offices, meeting rooms, etc. for the city council. In short, what in large cities is called a "district center." The ground floor also houses an exhibition hall. There are clean and well-equipped restrooms on each floor, and the attic is a large multi-function room with access to the building's continuous exterior balcony. The building is finished in limestone ashlars, and while the exterior facade is austere, except for the main entrance door, broken only by windows and small balconies, the interior retains the beautiful staircase that has always been used to ascend to the offices after disembarking from the carriage. A beautiful interior courtyard, currently glazed at the top, with an original triangular structure and beautiful balconied vertices, provides light from the attic to the ground floor. Although free, visits are only possible during public hours or during events.

The Torres Isozaki Bilbao is an architectural masterpiece designed by the renowned Japanese architect Arata Isozaki. It serves as a modern city gate for Bilbao, capturing his vision for the 21st century. As you ascend the stairs to Mazarredo, take a moment to appreciate the sculptural artwork by Mikel Lertxundi. The intricate materials and design of this building are worth observing up close, as you can walk around it and even touch it.
Isozaki Atea is known as a complex of seven buildings designed by Japanese architect Arata Isozaki in collaboration with architect Bilbao Iñaki Aurrekoetxea, in the Abando district of Bilbao, consisting of two twin 82-meter high, 23-story towers and five 6-8-story buildings.
