Botanic Sanctuary Antwerp is a stylish lodging located in a 15th-century convent with a beautiful garden and complimentary breakfast buffet. The hotel offers a luxurious experience, with supercars in the leafy courtyard and four Michelin-starred restaurants on-site. It's popular among conference attendees due to its historical charm and serene atmosphere by the local Botanic Garden. The spa features a greenhouse-like pool, Finnish sauna, and various massage treatments.
Simply brilliant! Elegant, luxurious but not pretentious. This hotel is spread across lovely grounds and has a very nice and unique feel to it. The restaurants are extraordinary. Service was very good from the minute we arrived until we departed two days later. The breakfast room was beautiful and I had possibly the best Eggs Benedict I have ever eaten. It is in a great location and very central, yet it felt like its own little oasis.
David V — Google review
You can smell the fragrance of the sauces and fries as soon as you walk into the store. The cheese croquette is amazing. All the sauces you can’t find anywhere else. By far the best fries I have had in Belgium/Netherlands combined!
Winnie N — Google review
Great place, been here for the second time and won’t be te last time! Great service, nice atmosphere. They made sure we had bottle of champagne on the room at arrival (for free) and the massage of Margot was outstanding. Also the breakfast is far over our expectations. <3
Martijn M — Google review
Do not waste your time at their spa. I booked a massage as a birthday treat and was really looking forward to it. Unfortunately, when I arrived, adina the lady at the reception was very rude she directly asked me to pay (the focus seemed to be only on the payment) and I did, right after that she told me I was late and i would not be getting the full experience nor the full service I paid for. Instead of being welcomed and cared for, I felt dismissed and stressed, which is the opposite of what a spa experience should be. Her approach was unprofessional and unnecessarily harsh. I asked to be speaking to the manager who never called back or tried to find a solution. Not really worthy of a 5 star hotel spa.

Our wedding weekend at the hotel was truly unforgettable, mostly thanks to the incredible support of Lorena and Pieter. From start to finish, they were exceptionally attentive, organized, and caring. They took care of every single detail with such professionalism and genuine warmth, not only for us but also for our 55 guests throughout the entire three days. Their dedication made everything run so smoothly, and we’re endlessly grateful for how beautifully they managed it all. We’d also love to thank Muhammed and Murat, who were by our side during those three days and helped all of our guests with incredible kindness and energy. Their constant support and the fact that they spoke Turkish made communication so easy and personal for everyone. They were always there whenever we needed something, literally running around with a smile and making sure every request was taken care of. Thank you all for making our wedding weekend so seamless, joyful, and absolutely unforgettable!

The most beautiful hotel experience in Antwerp! We stayed at a 5-star gastronomic resort housed in a beautifully restored 15th-century monastery — and everything about it was truly magical. The hospitality was unmatched, and we felt genuinely welcomed from the moment we arrived. Our junior suite was serene and elegantly designed, with earthy tones, luxurious textures, and custom-made furniture that made the entire space feel like a retreat. Every morning, we woke up to the most stunning breakfast spread, filled with fresh, healthy options and beautifully presented dishes. 🍳🍓 The Botanic Health Spa was the ultimate wellness escape — a calm, 3-floor sanctuary with an indoor pool, relaxing treatment rooms, and peaceful corners to unwind. It’s where botanical wellness meets sustainable luxury, all set in the heart of the Antwerp Botanical Garden. 🌿💧 A heartfelt thank you to Pepijn at the reception for the warm welcome, to Sharon and Sofie for their kindness and attentiveness during breakfast, and to Joyal at Delvaux for the lovely service. Your smiles and professionalism made our stay even more memorable! This hotel isn’t just a place to stay — it’s an experience that stays with you. ✨ Highly recommended for anyone visiting Antwerp!

We nearly got scammed in this hotel! We went for drinks at Henry's Bar and ordered a champagne based cocktail for 28 euros. The waiter arrived with the cocktail and a bottle and filled up the glass. We then noticed that they were not using real champagne but a cheap prosecco! We complained and eventually they gave us a new cocktail, this time with real champagne. We paid the bill and left (they didn't offer to give us the cocktail for free) Not a good experience at all!

Hotel Julien is a refined accommodation located on Korte Nieuwstraat in the historic center of Antwerp. The hotel offers minimalist rooms with deluxe bathrooms and modern amenities such as free Wi-Fi, iPad and iPhone docking system, minibar, and writing desk. Guests can relax in the luxurious spa, sauna, or comfortable living room before enjoying drinks at the trendy bar. The high-ceilinged lounge features designer furniture and hints at nearly 500 years of history.
Beautiful space, with very charming atmosphere. The room itself was cozy and smart, but spacious for two on the go. Really friendly staff that were hospitable and helpful in making our time in the city an elevated experience. We really enjoyed started or ending the day in the lobby with a coffee or tea. Thank you!
Lancestonne D — Google review
Positives: Clean, modern and aesthetic hotel set in a beautiful building. My room was in the roof space but felt large, comfortable and spacious, with plenty of daylight. Location was within walking distance of the city centre, bars and restaurants, and a 20 minute walk to the main train station. Young female staff (sorry I didn’t catch names) were very helpful in finding a local gym for me. Negatives: I found the room did not have enough electricity plugs - I expect most modern hotels of this standard to have USB plug ports beside the bed. I could also hear the comings and goings of neighbouring hotel rooms on my floor.
J. S — Google review
Beautifully decorated, details are perfect, very friendly staff and central location BUT bedrooms on street side get noise from the street - shouting and laughing people going to and coming from clubs until 5am in the morning and motor cycles etc. Also only Venetian blinds on the windows which look nice but allow most light in so from 6am the room so bright. So a terrible night sleep which is the basic purpose of a hotel. Staff were sorry about it and said blinds will be installed but take care unless you can sleep with noise and light.

Amazing architecture, very polite and nice service. Possibility to rent out the spa, which is also very nice

So ditch all your worries, and shed all your woes, Hotel Julien's comfort, abundantly flows. It's more than a hotel, a feeling, a mood, In Antwerp's grand city, deliciously good!

Great location near the old town for exploring the wonderful city of Antwerp! Very peaceful hotel with lovely ambience
John D — Google review
The hotel’s building is nice. The room is also nice. But when you pay around 350€ per night you might expect not to use your phone’s lamp every time you go down very steep stairs. The service level is far from matching the standard you can expect in such a renowned establishment (reception still asking for your room number after 3 days despite a very limited number of rooms). Last tip. Don’t book a massage during the last available slot of the day unless you want a mechanical one that lasts 27 minutes instead of 30.

Had an amazing stay at Hotel Julien! It honestly felt like a home away from home with its cozy family vibe. Nisrine and Morgan deserve a shoutout for their top-notch service – they were attentive and just amazing. The place was spotless, which is a big win for a clean freak like me. Plus, you can't beat the location. This hotel is definitely doing things right! Can't wait to come back.

This boutique hotel was a gem in center of Antwerp. Celia at the front desk was extraordinary- front greeting us with wonderful cup of green tea and tasty coffee to taking time explaining places to visit to accommodating every ask. Beds are extremely comfortable , great showers, robs and sleepers in the room. The court yard is standing and in the summer I’m sure they search breakfast there. It’s must visit. We had a great time. Celia deserves special THANK YOU. !!!

We stayed two nights with our six friends to celebrate the birthday of my wife in Antwerp. This hotel is something else. Fantastic attention to detail and service. Excellent recovery from a mistakes they went out of their way to make this weekend a success for us. Real good. Excellent beds. Good breakfast. Wonderful people. This will be our standard place to stay in Antwerp.

Had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel. They have taken hospitality to a new level. From checking in to leaving, everybody was genuinely friendly and helpful. The room we occupied is airy and bright. Bathroom was very large and clean. The bed was very comfortable and they supplied fresh water in glass bottles. The breakfast was delightful with a nice mix of fruits, cheeze and meats. Dinner with chef Bussels was Michelin comparable.
Ronald D — Google review
Very near the tourist centre. Breakfast only has a single person doing orders and making the food. I didn't get what I ordered either morning. The cleaners block the lift use for themselves. I was visiting with my elderly mother and that was rather a serious issue.

Beautiful house closet to the center, away from noise Confortable details, bedding, and toilettries. Could have more neutral decoración but it was fine..no elevator to our.room.

De Witte Lelie is a charming boutique hotel with a tasteful interior and beautiful details. We loved our Mohammed Ali room with a fairytale bathroom . The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. And breakfast is excellent.
Annette B — Google review
We stayed at De Witte Lelie on August 5th and unfortunately our experience did not meet expectations. We arrived with our own car, having booked the hotel’s parking in advance. However, the parking area was extremely narrow, and the entrance was so steep that our car could not access it. We were not informed of these limitations beforehand. To reach the hotel, we had to drive through the city’s Low Emission Zone (LEZ). We were not advised in advance that our car would need to be registered for access. The registration process is complicated and, as far as we understand, cannot be completed retroactively. Initially, we were told there was no problem, and later we were informed that we could register the car within 10 days — which does not appear to be the case. Finally, the cleanliness of the suite was well below the standard one would expect from a hotel of this category and at this price. Both the sofa and the bathroom were not cleaned appropriately, which was disappointing and unacceptable given the level of the property
Milica K — Google review
Spent a weekend getaway in Antwerp and stayed at the Hotel De Witte Lelie at the recommendation of a friend. We could not have been happier with the experience. The hotel's location is fantastic: easy walking distance to restaurants, the shopping district and great restaurants. The team at the hotel was friendly, helpful and incredibly accommodating. And the hotel itself is truly unique. It is a beautiful historic building with an incredible collection of design furniture throughout. A truly memorable stay.

Hotel 't Sandt Antwerpen is a charming boutique hotel located in the heart of the city, offering country-chic rooms and suites. Housed in a stately 16th-century building with an exotic history as a former warehouse for banana imports, the hotel exudes a luxurious ambiance. The individually styled rooms and suites, including the Mandarin Oriental room and Cathedral Penthouse suite, showcase the building's heritage.
We had a fantastic stay in the Penthouse Cathedral. The room was beautiful and had everything we could need. The breakfast was fresh and delicious and there were GF breads for me (really nice too!) The owner was really welcoming and the staff were all so helpful. Wonderful ❤️

Stayed three nights; April 3-6, 2025. Outstanding in every way. Service, food, room ( we stayed in The Berlin Palace) and location. Met the owner. So impressed. Staff person at front desk, Cedric, greeted us by our last name when we first arrived. We hadn't even said our name, but he overheard me call my husband by his first name, and from that he determined who we were. It was only 12noon, too early to check in, but Cedric said: Your room is ready! I wanted to hug him. We were so jet lagged from a long flight from the USA. I can't say enough ++ Would not stay anywhere else in this city.
Joanne P — Google review
This is a charming, old-fashioned boutique hotel with delightful, attentive staff and large comfortable rooms. A.welcome respite from indistinguishable hotel chains. We arrived early, so our room was not ready, but we were welcomed with coffee and a croissant in a delightful courtyard off the hotel's dining room. The breakfast was delicious and diverse. The entire stay was a pleasure. And the location put us within easy walking distance of the main sights in Antwerp. In brief, we recommend it enthusiastically.
Seth H — Google review
The best hotel staff we experienced on our vacation. Reception was friendly and accommodating. It’s a bit farther from the train station but close to the city center and great restaurants. The historic building is beautiful and the room was large and comfortable. I’m tall and appreciated the large, long bed. The included breakfast was nice.

A great hotel, less than 5 minutes from the main square and the cathedral. Very clean and comfortable, with helpful, cheerful staff and a great breakfast buffet.

Beautiful hotel in the center of the old city. Nice beds and shower and great breakfast.
Goswijn S — Google review
The hotel itself is nice, clean, breakfast is good, and staff very friendly. But the room is way overpriced for what you get. Sure, it’s central (still quite a walk to some shopping areas) but not worth the €300/night price on a room that to me is worth around €120-150/night. It felt like they tried to be cheap with everything. The toilet paper was a cheap and rough thin layer - and why only 1 and a half rolls given? Pillows completely flat and bed felt like it was sinking in some areas, it didn’t feel like real effort in the design / not tasteful and maybe grandparents would love it. No coffee machine in the room, only 1 small water bottle for 2 guests? Room doesn’t even dial front desk (are we in the 80s literally)? No towel racks in the toilet, no coat racks.. I’m just a bit stunned at the price and positive reviews.. the bathroom was the only thing really nice.. with proper attention to detail and improvements this hotel has potential.

FRANQ is a sophisticated boutique hotel located in the heart of Antwerp, occupying a beautifully restored former bank building. The hotel impresses with its Neoclassical architecture, light-filled lobby, and elegant communal areas. The rooms and suites are understated yet classy, featuring luxurious amenities such as mattresses by the supplier to the British Royals.
Really lovely hotel with an amazing breakfast, location, decor, shower and toiletries!! Usually a hater of a waterfall shower but the one we had was amazing, loved all the clinique toiletries and the slippers and robe. Super comfy bed and nice pillows. Attentive staff. Amazing breakfast in the morning - warm fresh pastries, salmon, meats and cheeses, eggs, yoghurt and fresh fruit... what more could you ask for!!
Millie P — Google review
I would not recommend this hotel. It is highly surprising to me that they are featured in the Michelin guide when the most basic things are missing. Yes, the lobby is really grand and artsy, but the room felt like it belonged somewhere else. It is very worn down, both in the hallway and inside the room. The room felt stuffy and had a rather unpleasant smell. We got a towel with a big hole, there was not enough toilet paper, the soap dispenser in the shower was empty (during all of our 3 night stay) the slippers had been used and was stained yellow and with black hair on them. They were stuffed inside the bathrobe, so needles to say I didn’t want to wear that either. After one of the cleanings, there was a large black stain on the shower floor. I have never previously experienced the shower to be more dirty after cleaning than before… The staff is friendly, but unfortunately it doesn’t compensate for the standard of the hotel. The location of the hotel is pretty off, and even though it’s on a quiet street, there’s not enough sound isolation to keep out the normal city noice.
Elise K — Google review
We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is pretty much close to everything in old town Antwerp the highlight of the day was the breakfast at the Michelin star restaurant. Everything tasted absolutely fantastic the buffet breads, pancakes, and fruits were all top-notch and fresh. Everything down to the smallest details. Our omelet and poached eggs were also delicious. The staff were friendly. The only downside is that the rooms and hallways are a bit worn down and have an odd smell. Other than that everything was great.
Glenn H — Google review
- great location - service lacked in many areas —- booked transportation MANY months ago; did not show up, staff did not try to remediate —- noticed and advised of non functioning lights in the room shortly after check-in; three days later still not fixed —- hosted dinner for 98 guests… server had more attention for her friend sitting at the bar than for the table she served Bottom line: hotel staff need tighter supervision and management. A mismatch between 4 stars and prices and service delivered
Paul M — Google review
I don’t understand how this hotel got 4* and such a high rating. Rooms are very dated with bad noise isolation, damaged and dusty furniture, walls and floors, holes in towels, dirty flip-flops, and a lack of toilet paper and soap, which hasn’t been refilled for two days now. The reception and restaurant are renovated and look really nice, but the rooms are really disappointing. I had completely different expectations.
Oleg A — Google review
Unfortunately a very bad experience. We had booked one night and then another night on arrival. We were told that the room was cheaper than the one we had already booked. Yes, it was also a lower category. Unfortunately, we realised at checkout that it was still twice as expensive, which we had not been told, and they insisted on payment. In addition, we had no bed linen, blankets, duvets and pillows in the second room and had to ask for them late in the evening. That was very upsetting. Toiletries were missing in both rooms. We thought ok, anything can happen and wrote to the hotel 3 times. We never received an answer. I would not book here again. Nice try but definitely not worth the money.

Sapphire House Antwerp, Autograph Collection is a relatively new and stunning 5-star boutique hotel in Antwerp that offers a luxurious stay with beautiful design, comfortable beds, and delicious breakfast. The hotel also houses WILDn, a plant-based restaurant led by renowned chef Bart de Pooter. This fine dining restaurant has quickly earned a green Michelin star within just three months of its opening. The hotel's location, architectural charm, and rich history reflect the authentic lifestyle of Antwerp.
An Exceptional Stay at Sapphire House Hotel I had a fantastic experience at the Sapphire House Hotel in Antwerp! The rooms were modern, spacious, and incredibly comfortable — perfect for both business travel and relaxing after a day of exploring the city. The breakfast was a true highlight, with fresh, high-quality options that catered to all tastes. From start to finish, the front desk staff went above and beyond — welcoming, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. The hotel strikes the perfect balance between luxury and functionality, making it ideal for both business and leisure travelers. I’ll definitely be returning on my next trip to Antwerp!

This was a last minute booking and boy am I glad to have chosen this hotel. Being an Autograph Collection I was of course expecting a great property but still I was surprised by how beautiful the hotel was. It wasn’t anything over the top but was charming and you felt the historic charm. They upgraded me to the Diamond Suite which was a perfectly sized room and was extremely cozy. The bed was also very comfortable. The location was perfect, being on an extremely quiet street but also a 1-2 minute walk to the city center. I will only be staying here moving forward when in Antwerp.
Christopher Z — Google review
I cannot, CANNOT, overstate how disappointed I am in the hotel and their ability to get a taxi on time. Checked the day prior to have a taxi for 5:50am to catch our train at 6:28 (and flight). They recommended 6am, I went conservative and asked for it 10 minutes earlier just in case. The taxi driver (an entirely separate issue and review) was 30 minutes late, claiming traffic. There’s no traffic. We missed our train (extra 100 Euro now), and will have to book an entirely new flight (or at least change fee). Again, I can’t overstate how irate I am at this inability of a supposed 5 star hotel to properly have a taxi waiting at the hotel, to get us to the station on time. Absolute ruin to the end of our vacation.

This was an amazing hotel and so far my favorite in Belgium. The bed was super comfy, great shower and water pressure, and the room was beautiful with high ceilings and decor. The staff was attentive and provided great hospitality. I would recommend this hotel as a must for all my friends and family.

We stayed at this hotel for a few days in July. The best thing about this hotel is its building! It's incredible, the staircase, the very high ceilings set the mood. Pleasant aroma at the entrance to the hotel. Everything else was questionable. I didn't like the fact that there were artificial flowers in a five-star hotel. The rooms are very well made, not my style, and there is too much gold, but this is subjective. There is no mini-bar. The room we were put in was incredibly small. I couldn't even lay out a mat to do yoga in the morning, there was so little space. The food in the room service was delicious and cooked fast enough. Unfortunately, the service is very bad. The people working are clearly not trained well. During this trip, my husband had a birthday and I asked the staff several times to help me and prepare something sweet from the kitchen. Both times my request was ignored and it was a bit offensive. And when I saw nothing in our room again in the end of the evening and went to the reception to buy some dessert, they said that after 9 pm you can only order pizza... this is not the service of a five-star hotel that claims 24/7 room service. Therefore, I am unlikely to stay at this hotel again.

I travel a lot. Some years almost 32 weeks a year. This is the best hotel I've stayed in recent memory. Just wow. The room was brilliant, the restaurant was delicious (had a supper there), the staff were some of the best I've delt with (even when I didn't get my bill right away) - easy 10-15 min walk to the center of the city at the train station. Local spots nearby are plenty filled with places to eat and shop. This hotel is not the cheapest but you're getting your money's worth. I would come here again - easy.

WE traveled from the US to spend time in Belgium. We could not have been happier with our five star experience at The Sapphire. From check in to room service to the bar we were treated wonderfully. The location was perfect with quick access to beautiful historic areas as well as to the Central Train Station. Thank you for making our time with your spectacular. Do not miss the Courtyard which is an oasis in the city.

Beautiful hotel. It’s close to the train station which was important since we were there for Tomorrowland. The staff was very nice. I love that they were welcoming us back from the festival at 2am. Shout out to Bruna who works the front desk. She made our reservation on our last night and made sure the restaurant saved mussels for us. A lot of the restaurants were closed because it was a holiday. Customer service was top notch!

Hotel Rubens - Grote Markt is a stylish and upscale hotel located in the heart of Antwerp, just a minute's walk from the lively Market Square. The property offers elegant rooms and a luxury suite equipped with modern amenities. Its convenient location allows easy access to popular shops, museums, and vibrant restaurants and bars. The hotel features a courtyard garden where guests can enjoy alfresco summer breakfasts.
Go to Antwerp! The city is a must. And this is the perfect hotel to stay in. Yes it’s on the back street. But it’s such a cute street. And it’s a simple walk to the great market Square. I mean it’s right there. Customer service is great, breakfast is great, and our room was absolutely adorable.

Almost perfect hotel - great location , friendly staffs, clean and big room for two. Booked for 3 nights but waking up 6 am on Monday morning, 6:30 am following two early morning. It’s different from the notice of building construction works next door. I don’t need a morning call for my holiday.
Cindy H — Google review
The hotel has a great location and nice staff. Tomas was very professional. The reason why I only gave 4 stars is the bathroom and the construction noise. The room (deluxe garden view) was spacious and clean. They answer messages right away, a big plus in customer service.
S — Google review
Nice hotel, pity about the construction noise immediately outside our window of our deluxe twin room facing the rear so you might want to ask for a quiet room facing the street perhaps. Oh, and I personally LOATHE the open shower arrangement. I don’t know why they do this - for the slight convenience of not having to open and close a shower enclosure you end up with a flooded bathroom floor every shower. I think it’s a stupid idea. And I didn’t see anything before and so didn’t realise until too late that you were supposed to register something for the high-speed Internet because the speed that I got was pathetic between 1 and 5 Mbps download which was unacceptable so if I missed seeing that suggest that be made a bit more obvious to hotel guests
Ultimobile — Google review
Not a dog friendly hotel at all! The hotel advertises itself as pet friendly on booking.com. However, it doesn't specify that it is only for dogs up to 10kg. Unwelcoming, unhelpful, and discriminatory. Avoid if you have a medium or large dog, as you won't be welcome here.

Stayed here during a work trip. Excellent hotel, near, clean, good service and located dead center of the "old Antwerp". Definitely recommend if your in Antwerp for a few days.

It does not get more central than this! Parkhouse not far 250 m. Good rooms nice breakfast and good Service.

Great central location, but also surprisingly quiet. Excellent bed, and enjoyed the waffle machine at breakfast. The staff also let us check out late when I wasn't feeling well, which was much appreciated.

An ideal place for the romantic evening! ✨ Tasty equisite food, very friendly personnel, nice quiet music and huge Windows overlooking MAS museum and the marine harbour! We really enjoyed the evening and recommend it!

Just completely horrible 1. We ordered 2 starters which we only received 1 the server told us that we should be grateful that we got the 1 starter 2. We received no napkins 3. Instead of the burata pasta we received the burata appetizer for a main course 4. We had to ask for water 3 times 5. We had to ask 2 times for the coffee 6. The dessert and the coffee was not on the bill we did not notice that after almost leaving the owner cornered us that we stole from a family business And after all that the owner threatened us and threw punches into the air while screaming that if we wrote a bad review So I absolutely hope that this family business will be ruined and I hope that nobody has to endure this absolutely unacceptable service

Waiter started to take a phone call in the middle of taking our order. Drinks were good, but for roughly an hour no one came to the table after we got the first round of drinks. Apart from that friendly service.

Excellent boutique hotel with excellent luxury rooms. Inside the hotel is also a very very very good restaurant. The breakfast is nothing special and a little expensive for what you get. But lunch and dinner at the restaurant are certainly worth it. The rooms are nice and rather well maintained. The shower head could be cleaned better and the windows could do with a fly screen as during Summer with the windows open, the rooms become an all you can eat buffet for mosquitos. Staff is very friendly and service minded.

Fine boutique hotel at the Harbour at the opposite of the MAS museum and RESTAURANT ZILTE.be (***-star Michelin). Good parking possibilities around that area within 500metres. Online to book upfront on plate number.

Restaurant from red guide Michelin. Deserve quality. Friendly staff and open kitchen. Very nice terrace in front of the MAS. Oysters number 2 of very good quality. Nice fishes too. Very well decorated and luxurious. They also have couple of rooms in their hotel on top of the restaurant. They are surprisingly super quiet and peaceful will all the luxury equipments. To be recommended

Unfortunately I had high hopes for this restaurant but when I visited on a Friday the place was pretty empty but service still took quite some time to be served i ordered the Caesar salad and was served a Greek salad no apologies or anything and also I never received most of my drink I believe that there are much better places for a much better price

The hotel itself is quite charming - the interior is pleasant, the food is genuinely good, and the location is beautiful. We did encounter a few minor issues in our room, like a missing shower door and a damaged showerhead, but these weren’t dealbreakers and wouldn’t normally warrant a complaint. Unfortunately, the overall experience was impacted by the service. To start, there were problems with our reservation. It was cancelled without any explanation, only to be later restored with a casual “it was a mistake.” We found out that our friends, who were also staying at the hotel, had similar issues with their bookings. Breakfast was another challenge. Since it’s not a buffet, guests have to pre-order and choose a time - we selected 9:00 AM. Despite that, all food we ordered didn’t arrive until just before 10:00. Unfortunately one (very sweet) staff member was doing everything - running the front desk, cooking in the kitchen, and serving tables. A second person eventually showed up, seemingly returning from the grocery store. Both of them were clearly doing their best and working extremely hard, but the system in place simply set them up to fail. It felt more like a DIY guesthouse than a well-run hotel. The most concerning part of our stay, however, was that someone entered our room at night - using a key. No one was hurt, but it was a deeply unsettling experience. We reported it to the front desk the next morning as no staff is present on-site at night. After a delay while they checked surveillance footage, we were told that the person who entered was a late-arriving guest who had been given a master key - one that opens all hotel rooms. Apparently, this is their standard procedure when guests check in after hours and no security guard is present. What concerned us even more than the situation itself was the attitude with which it was handled. It felt to me like the front desk staff acted like we were overreacting and brushed it off with simply an apology and a 3% discount - on a stay that was, by all accounts, quite expensive. The hotel is called U Eat & Sleep, but for us, it didn’t deliver on that promise.

Hotel Indigo Antwerp - City Centre, an IHG Hotel is a stylish and sophisticated boutique hotel located in the heart of vibrant Antwerp. It offers fashionable rooms and suites with modern decor and traditional oak features, providing all modern conveniences for both business and leisure travelers. The hotel is centrally located within easy reach of Antwerp Central Station, ZOO Antwerp, Flanders Meeting & Convention Center, and the main shopping streets.
Everything was perfect. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good. The room was nice and clean. The location was perfect, super close to the train station and the Queen Elisabeth Hall. We had to change hotels at the last minute and the staff here was exceptionally accommodating and understanding of our situation. They were so kind and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel!

Stayed here for a few days and the hotel is in a perfect location, safe, 3mins walk to Antwerp centraal and breakfast is decent. Didn’t like the room cleanliness which was nonexistent….seems cleaners don’t do anything than change towels and wash bathroom. We requested cleaning one day and they didn’t do it at all. They also say they will give you a €5 voucher for each day not cleaned but they don’t mention anything at your checkout so they hope you forget….which I can imagine many people do and so they steal that money from clients. Shower water is at best warm if you try a late night shower. Honestly should be maybe a 2 star….4 star is pushing it, doesn’t reach that standard.

Rating: 7.7/10 Summary: I would come back again for sure. Parking isn't available here in the traditional sense so I would reserve private parking somewhere for a better rate. The good: 👍 The front desk staff were so amazing. Especially night crew. Empathetic and understanding. 👍 Can connect your phone to the tv to stream. 👍 Walking distance to lots of things. 👍 Breakfast was pretty good! Eggs and bacon and lots of other hot options. 👍 The city view from the window was actually very pretty. The "not good, not bad" 👉 Rooms were a bit oddly shaped and not the most accommodating for large luggage. But it felt less like an oversight and more than in not their target customer. Fair enough. The not-so-good, 👎 Parking, or lack thereof was hard to navigate and really expensive nearby. Again, I could just not be their target customer.

A perfect hotel for a long weekend in Antwerp. The rooms are comfortable, ask for one at the rear if you want peace and quite because the hotel is on quite a noisy square. Very convenient for Antwerp Central Station, and only a short walk from Antwerp's excellent bars and restaurants.
Mel B — Google review
While this hotel appears to be well-located due to its proximity—just a 5-minute walk—to the central train station, the surrounding area left much to be desired. It felt quite unsafe, especially at night. My girlfriend and I did not feel comfortable walking around, and we had to rely on Uber after dark. The streets nearby were dirty and there were often shady individuals around, which really impacted our experience. The hotel staff were not particularly welcoming or helpful, which may reflect a broader cultural difference, but it still made our stay less pleasant. The most serious issue we encountered was with the bathroom. There was a persistent and unbearable odor, likely due to plumbing or drainage problems. We reported this to the staff the next day, but they showed little concern and did not take any action to address it. Overall, despite the convenience of its location relative to public transport, the uncomfortable surroundings, unpleasant smell, and lack of service make it difficult for me to recommend this hotel. I’d rate it 2 stars.

The location is great! The Filipino staff are awesome kind and polite! Especially the Filipino staff in the restaurant treated us very well! Only thing is that the pillows aren’t very comfy! Other than that owe had a good stay and we recommend it
Christine K — Google review
Extremely awful bed and unhelpful staff. The double bed is two mattresses put together with a very thin mattress topper, so the middle of the bed is unusable unless you like a hard cliff and a drop from one side of your body to another. To add to the insult, the hotel staff repeatedly refused to provide a second duvet for the room, when every other hotel in multiple countries have happily done so. The one duvet is small enough that either me or my partner was stuck over the join between the mattresses.
Andrew C — Google review
Very disappointing experience for an IHG-branded hotel. Rooms are not cleaned and towels not replaced daily — and the excuse? “Too many Tomorrowland guests.” That’s not acceptable. When you choose a hotel with an international brand, you expect consistent service, regardless of how full it is. On top of that, my room door wouldn’t open because the lock’s batteries were dead. Is preventive maintenance not a basic standard anymore? I found myself at 3:15 AM trying to access my room — exhausted, and completely let down. Definitely not the level of quality or reliability I expected.

Guests can also enjoy the well-curated in-house shop and the Zen spa with an outdoor swimming pond.
We had a really wonderful stay at this hotel. Loved the overall design and the design of the rooms. The room was spotless and comfortable, I enjoyed the lovely products in the bathroom. The breakfast and the breakfast service was especially good and we found the staff helpful and welcoming. The option of a few tram lines nearby so easy to navigate anywhere in the city.

. Siutcases are put into the lift and you can search for the room by yourself. Only 10 guests at the same time have to wait for breakfast nearly 45 minutes, although there are 5 members of staff running araound. A Birchler Müsli ist some dry müsli afusioned with almondmilk. The french bread from the day before….. although we did pay for ist including room reservation, we decided to take breakfast in a cafe somewhere else. The undergroundgarage is badly signed and the openingcodes, you get from the reception, don‘t work. For every parking oder leaving we had to go to the reception for saveral times to open doors and gates. Wunderful design, horrible way of oranisation. It has nothing to do with a profesionel host.

The dinner at August restaurant provided a wonderful dining experience. The food was expertly prepared, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. A notable feature is the extensive wine list, which offers a large selection of excellent wines, particularly white wines, which is quite exceptional. It's worth noting that hotel residency is not required to dine at the restaurant.

A very nice hotel with a beautiful decoration. Very comfortable as well. Staff was friendly and breakfast is excellent. Special mention for the person making the cocktails in the evening and the very nice lady serving breakfast. But we were a bit disappointed not to stay in the main building and being in the building across which made us feel like we were staying at a nice airbnb rather than a hotel. We were never proposed to be relocated in the main building despite the fact that we stayed for 4 nights. Also, the hotel is far from the city center and nice neighborhoods. A good 30mn walk to get back after visiting crossing a rather sad area. We’ll probably stay closer to the center for our next stay in Antwerp.

We had an amazing stay at august and will definitely come back. The design of the hotel is simply gorgeous and it was a great place to unwind from the city. Only one thing that I would hope to be changed for sustainability matters- in terms of room service it would be great if only those towels left on the floor would be exchanged, so that it‘s on the guest to decide on whether he/she wants to use them another time which I personally find totally ok, even in a (luxurious) hotel.

YUST Antwerp is a trendy hostel located in the lively Berchem district of Antwerp. It offers modern and functional accommodations, including standard rooms, deluxe rooms, suites, family rooms, dormitory-style rooms, and female-only dorm rooms. The hostel features a restaurant, bar, and a rooftop terrace for guests to enjoy. With its contemporary design and eco-friendly approach, YUST Antwerp has become a popular choice for budget travelers looking for style and comfort.
This was probably the biggest and fanciest hostel I've ever been to. It is easy to get to. Calm neighbourhood. Quiet atmosphere. Rooms are designed in a way that people in dorm rooms are not directly face to face with others. But also, each bed has its own curtain. It might get a bit tight if everyone is awake and moving about at the same time, but nothing a quick communication cannot solve. We didn't get to use them, but there was a kitchen and a small gym too. There is free coffee in the lobby area, very nice touch. Thank you very much for that. There is shampoo/gel in the showers, and also the lockers in the rooms work with the magnetic cards you get for the room. So, no need to carry locks around.

This is a very well maintained hostel in Antwerp. You will love the atmosphere here at the reception hall. The rooms were tidy, linen was neat and lockers spacious. Towels are provided. Reception staff is polite and friendly. Bathrooms can be maintained better and location is a little away from the old Antwerp city, but overall a nice choice to bunk for a short stay.

really nice hostel, probably one of the best i’ve stayed at so far. i arrived pretty late after a long day and all i wanted was a shower and some sleep. luckily, this place was quiet, clean and comfortable. even though it was a shared room, the curtains around each bed made it feel private and the bunk had plenty of space. they even gave me complimentary earplugs, but i was so tired i fell asleep instantly. it’s not super central, about a 30-minute walk to the city center or around 15 by tram, but totally worth it. perfect option if you’re staying in antwerp on a budget.
Elena M — Google review
The BEST hostel I have ever gone to in my years of budget traveling. It’s a bit outside of the city, but across the street from trams that will take you straight to the train station. The rooms are very clean and modern and the lockers are connected to your personal key card which feels much safer. There’s a rooftop bar as well which is a nice bonus. The receptionists are also very nice and made my stay in Antwerp amazing!! I will stay here again the next time I’m here!

We organized a drink for our guests on the rooftop of Hotel Yust for our civil wedding, and it was a wonderful experience. The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. When the weather changed unexpectedly, Hotel Yust was well-prepared with a plan B, moving everything downstairs to the patio seamlessly. The whole event was very well organized, and the pricing was transparent from the very beginning. We couldn’t have asked for a smoother and more enjoyable experience!

One of the nicest and most modern hostels I’ve stayed in Europe. Amazing facilities including gym access. Definitely stay here if heading to Antwerp, it’s so easy to catch the tram into town. We stayed here for two nights and had a very nice stay in Antwerp. The location is perfect and really could not get any better for visiting the old town area. The rooms were very nice and we were able to stay on the Executive level which had a great lounge area. We really appreciated the happy hour and the rooftop area. This was relaxing and offered nice views of the city. The only minor issue is that our room was far from the elevator, so it was a bit of a walk each time to walk around the building. Otherwise, great service and the room was nice. We were able to check in a little early and appreciated the hospitality. I would definitely recommend to others going to the Grote Markt/Old town area and we would stay there again.

Very special thanks to the general manager Serge, and Paula of the reception staff for their kindness! The hotel itself is in an extremely convenient location, and has all the amenities one would need for an enjoyable vacation or business trip. The executive lounge area and adjacent rooftop terrace offers extra hospitality and great views without needing to venture far from your room. Most importantly all of the staff members were friendly and helpful, and to them we would also like to say thanks a million! If you are looking to stay in Old Town Antwerp, rest assured that the Hilton should be your one and only choice 🥂

The location is excellent - you have all of Antwerp accessible very quickly by foot.

Visited the hotel for a business trip. Right in the middle of city square, it's conveniently located. The room was big and spacious but I'd say quite old style and probably not renovated for quite some time. Bathroom was also spacious but very old. Hate the fact that sink drain was like clogged and sink drained very slow. Amenities in the room were also ok like mini fridge, iron, kettle etc. Breakfast was very nice and lots of options and was included in the price. There is a fitness room as well which is available 24/7. There is no hotel parking but you need to park your car in public parking with paid parking of 29 EUR per day.

Located just a short stroll from Grand Place, this elegant retreat features designer rooms and suites equipped with complimentary wired internet, flat-screen TVs, and tea-making facilities. Guests can unwind in the cozy lounge by the fireplace or enjoy the intimate courtyard. The hotel’s nautical themes pay homage to Antwerp's rich maritime history, creating an inviting atmosphere filled with sumptuous colors and unique decor.
The hotel is a hidden gem off a busy area but quiet and serene. We had the junior suite which was clean, large, and overlooked the patio. Excellent staff who were professional and kind and provided information about where to eat and visit. Walking distance to central station and Viking dock.

Our group stayed in 3 rooms at Hotel Matelote and loved it. It was clean and the ambiance was wonderful. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We especially loved the fresh bread and pastries every morning. The location is fantastic. Close to the historic sites and public transit. Great restaurants nearby. But it was also very quiet. We didn’t hear city noise at all. Our interactions with Erik, the manager, were great. He was so helpful and kind and responsive. We traveled with small kids and an elderly couple and didn’t have a problem with the stairs. I would definitely stay here again.

Matelote is a charming and well-appointed family owned and operated hotel. We appreciated the location — it’s on a quieter side street but still wonderfully situated for access to restaurants, bars, and boutique shopping. Very warm welcome from the owner operator who helpfully marked up a map with our must visit spots for our brief stay. We stayed in room 10 and were blown away by the size and architectural features of the room, from the thoughtfully laid out restroom to the exposed roof beams and skylights. We would absolutely stay again when next in Antwerp.

Great little hotel in centre of Antwerp old town. Great blend of old and new and continental breakfast included. This is very handy as many restaurants and cafes not open at breakfast time. Room very clean. Big shower, TV with English channels. Kettle in room but not needed as you can get tea/ coffee during the day at no extra charge. Room decor slightly dated, could do with a refresh but didn't affect stay. Perfect location. 2-5 minutes from everywhere.

I loved this hotel. The owner is extremely helpful, my room was upgraded, I was able to check in early and the iron I requested was in my room on arrival. Nothing was too much trouble. It is situated in the heart of Antwerp near all the main attractions and restaurants but because it is in a quirky side street it is very quiet. A historic building with a beautiful courtyard, where you can have breakfast or a cheeky glass of wine (a fridge was in my room) in the evening. I will definitely return.

We arrived in Antwerp a day prior to Viking River-cruise and everything was perfect about the family run Hotel Matelote. It is perfectly located in the old city, Historic Center, and remarkably, a 5 minute walk to the Viking ship. Our room was huge and big, modern bathroom. Breakfast selections were great and hotel has a charming courtyard that you can choose to eat your meal. No doubt we would stay here again when we find ourselves in Antwerp, a remarkable city.

We loved our stay here!! We met Karen at the door who handed us tissues to dry our glasses right away from the rain. She and her husband are lovely hosts who keep the property in excellent condition. They even provided a bottle of sparkling wine with a sweet card to celebrate as we were on our honeymoon. The room was very spacious but at the same time cozy. The bathtub is such a luxury too!! We will definitely look to stay here again when we visit Antwerp!

Excellent location and the penthouse suite was beautiful. Karen & Tom were wonderful and made sure everything was taken care of, and provided great recommendations. Looking forward to staying again soon!

What an amazing stay! Great hosts who welcomed us, and made it known that the room was ready before the official check in! What a relief. The room was in top condition. And it has a bathtub!!! The bed was super comfortable. Generally it seems that the owners have a very nice connection with their cleaning team, and the place is very neat thanks to that. We have really enjoyed the stay there and in Antwerps itself. The location is amazing, and you were right in the city centre quite quickly.

I had the immense pleasure of spending a night at the Maison Nationale and it was an experience I will not soon forget. First off, the cleanliness of the place was simply immaculate, leaving no room for doubt about the professionalism and standards upheld by the staff. Positioned perfectly, the location could not have been more advantageous. Maison Nationale is conveniently placed within walking distance of some of the best restaurants the area has to offer. This ensured that my culinary cravings were well taken care of and provided me with an opportunity to explore the vibrant neighbourhood. However, what made my stay at Maison National truly unforgettable was the host, Karen. She radiates warmth and kindness, her persona immediately putting you at ease. Karen went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. Whether I needed recommendations for local eateries or help with various tasks, Karen was always there, displaying an astounding dedication to her guests. I cannot thank her enough for her generous hospitality and the tremendous care she put into making my stay as delightful as possible. To sum it up, Maison National is an oasis of luxury and comfort, marked by excellent service and personable hosts. If you're looking for a place that feels like a home away from home, then look no further. This gem of a place ticks all the boxes, delivering a guest experience that is second to none. A special thanks again to Karen for making my stay extra special. I look forward to visiting again.

We are grateful for your exceptional service, which rescued us from a dismal hotel experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this family owned hotel to anyone seeking quality accommodation. The hotel is delightful, amicable and friendly staff and a prime location just a 24-minute stroll from Central Station. Note, guests should press the call button at the front entrance for access.

Stayed here for my girlfriends birthday. And it was simply amazing. The owners are the most kind and friendly people in the industry. The rooms and common areas are beautifully designed. You can see their attention to detail! We loved our stay, my girlfriend had an amazing birthday, and Tom & Karen are some of the best hotel owners out there! Definitely will go again!

Nestled in a former almshouse near the Saint Jacob's Church, Guesthouse Bernardin offers a charming stay with its terrace and rooms featuring free WiFi. The accommodation provides amenities such as a safety deposit box, minibar, work desk, coffee machine, and flat-screen cable TV. Conveniently located in Antwerp, it is within walking distance of attractions like The Rubens House and Meir Shopping Street.
Lovely room, excellent location. Would stay again. (Recommend bringing mosquito repellent!)

(Translated by Google) A comfortable and quiet guesthouse very close to Antwerp's historic center. The rooms are spacious and bright, as is the upstairs bedroom. The spiral staircase leading up to the room is a bit narrow, but that's the case with many restaurants and bars in the city center. You do need to be a bit sturdier. Breakfast, upon request, is brought to your room directly by the owners at the time you request and is perfect (bread, pastries, butter and jam, orange juice, natural yogurt, hard-boiled egg, cold milk). For hot drinks, there's a coffee machine with pods and a kettle. The only downside: the mosquitoes kept us awake on the last night of our stay. A small burner would be useful to keep them away. Recommended. Consigliato.

(Translated by Google) Everything looks neat and well maintained. But..... Be good on your feet and enjoy a historic setting. Only come there to sleep if you are not too big. Totally unsuitable for the disabled. The studio is quite expensive, I expected more for that. Overcrowding cannot have been the reason, we reserved this studio months in advance and it was not very busy. The stairs in the studio. It looks more like a ladder. Steep, narrow, slippery and therefore dangerous. And you use it quite a lot, the bedroom is upstairs and so are the plumbing and water. The bed is small and not suitable for taller people. The sofa in the downstairs living room is too low and is poorly positioned due to the seat being too long and the cushions being mediocre. Also positioned incorrectly in relation to the TV. There is no water point downstairs, which is especially inconvenient if you want to use the kettle or rinse the cups. Then you can climb the ladder again and find that the kettle cannot be refilled via the tap. All quite clumsy and clumsy. All in all, not worth repeating. Stijl, smal, glad dus gevaarlijk.

The bath is not practical, in the morning a shower is much more practical. If the bath also empties on its own... There were also earplugs. At night it was clear why they were there: The neighbors were having a party. Of course, there is little they can do about that themselves. There was a mini bar, but no price list. Then it's not easy to take anything out of there. The landlord was also not very friendly about the Flanders Holiday Land checks. Unnecessary Sunday stress for us. He only had to enter the codes of the checks, but clearly didn't feel like doing that. For a moment we almost felt criminal. Missed opportunities... Breakfast was tasty. Actually expensive for what you get. (Original) Kon beter... We had a wonderful experience at NH Collection Antwerpen. The hotel is modern, stylish, and perfectly located – just a short walk from the central station and close to all the main attractions. Our room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bed was great, and we really appreciated the quiet atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent, with lots of fresh options and plenty of choice for everyone. What made our stay even better was the friendly and helpful staff. They were welcoming, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile. We would definitely stay here again. A perfect choice if you're visiting Antwerp and want comfort, convenience, and top service. Highly recommended!

This hotel is exceptionally great. It has a great service, a fresh food and a wide breakfast menu, a good location, a safe parking lot, a modern and smart design, and a clean and neat place. Cons: the parking prices are expensive, laundry service too. Sadly, they don’t have a spa facility (sauna + gym) which could have complemented it. In addition, air conditioner is undeniably not as cool as it should be, it does not have a colder degree below -3C. which makes the room warmer, especially during rests in afternoon times. Pros: in addition to the above, staff are elegant and friendly, very helpful and highly professional. Evaluation: this hotel is by far the best option in Antwerp. I enjoyed my stay, and would recommend it.

If you’re taking the train, this hotel is in the absolute best location as it is right across the street from the train station. It’s a 3-4 minute, while dragging luggage, from the front of the train station. It was also one of the quietest places we’ve ever slept. We had a Garden View room #336. It was right up against the elevator and there was absolutely NO noise from the elevator. The room was huge. Everything was completely modern and updated. The hotel and the room were all impeccably clean. The reception staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room temperature was perfect. The king size bed was extremely comfortable and there were 6 pillows of various sizes. There’s a safe in a drawer that would fit a laptop. The breakfast spanned both sides of two very long tables had pretty much everything you could imagine. Both the breakfast room and the lobby were exceptionally well appointed.

I stayed with my mom for two nights at this wonderful hotel,it exceeded our expectations! We loved everything about it,from the lobby and kind receptionist to the perfect room, amazing breakfast with self making Belgian waffles 😃 and diversity of flavours, food and drinks. I went to the gym at 11 p.m and enjoyed my training with a gym only for myself 🏃🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️. I definitely recommend this hotel. Location is perfect and we also were able to get an early check in at no extra cost. Enjoy!

Excellent value for money. The staff were polite and welcoming, and the facilities were more than satisfactory. Stayed in October on business. The location of this hotel is excellent; 2 minutes walk from the central train station and 20 minutes from the historic old town. The room was clean, quiet and very comfortable. Amenities included coffee machine, Bluetooth speakers, usb charging sockets and high quality toiletries. The breakfast was excellent, with an endless mix of cold items, hot items and eve egg thing in between. This is one of the best I’ve had in a hotel, and I travel very often. Service was fantastic too - extra coffee pods and an iron were delivered to my room within minutes of me calling reception. Further, the gentleman welcoming everyone to breakfast was not only exceptionally well dressed and polite, but greeted guests by name, on their own language.

The pool area is also very nice, with a sauna and steam. Although the water was a bit cold one time I still enjoyed it. The gym is also a nice addition. Our check-in experience was quite disastrous — it took about 30 minutes. The receptionist was only on her second day and was left completely alone during rush hour, which was stressful for her and for us. I would strongly recommend not leaving new staff by themselves so early on, especially during busy times. On the positive side, all staff members we interacted with were kind and helpful throughout our stay. The biggest disappointment was that the swimming pool was out of service. This was very upsetting as we specifically booked this hotel for the pool. Breakfast was excellent — very complete, lots of options, and everything we tried was tasty. The hotel bar also serves nice cocktails. Our room was lovely, with a bath we really enjoyed and many appreciated amenities. Finally, the location of the hotel is unbeatable — everything is within walking distance, which is a huge plus.

Absolutely, by no means a 4 star hotel. Very very disappointing stay. Unfortunately the standards have changed for the worst in every way possible, from the arrangements to the check in to the cleanliness of the rooms. I called four days prior to our stay twice on purpose to ensure that my father in law who is disabled would be able to get a room with a walk-in shower rather than a bathtub. The girl at the front desk confirmed it with me twice and I even emailed and confirmed again and also let her know that it was my boyfriends birthday, requesting a small slice of cake, a cookie and possibly a note or a card that just said happy birthday in our room when we check in. She sends me a price list twice of cava, champagne and chocolate and I made it clear both by phone and by email that he does not drink alcohol (40€ or so for a bottle?) and no chocolate, can they please just do a small cookie or a tart. She sends me the same list over again. I said ok forget it please just include a simple note or card in the room that says happy birthday. Confirmed. We come to check in, my in-laws room is ready, ours is not. Fine. I ask one more time, is it for sure a walk in shower and they said yes. We go to their room and sure enough, it’s a bath. I don’t understand how it can be confirmed so many times and nothing is actually true. They upgraded my in laws to another room, which is nice but already inconvenient as they are older and tired, that room is not clean in the slightest. There are stains everywhere, only one pair of slippers and a single robe, the counters and bathroom don’t even look fully wiped down. We ended up taking over their original room and of course, no note, no card, no birthday wishes as confirmed or promised. His birthday was not even close to as special as we expected and honestly the standards of our room were equally as disappointing. Hairs everywhere and spots all over equally. Attaching proof of the entire situation. Very disappointing from Radisson, seems like the entire staff downstairs at check in is lost and confused themselves. Used to recommend this hotel to all my friends and business partners but it is definitely my last time staying here.

This is the worst experience my family has ever had. I travel a lot and this is the first time that I had to face this kind of awful treatment and behavior. We had a prepaid reservation including a one day prior reservation as I was to arrive long before the check in time and would not be able to wait for the check in time (I had an important official meeting). I arrived and at the reception I was told that as we didn’t arrive yesterday my PREPAID reservation was cancelled and which is the most ridiculous thing, my PREPAID room was given to another person and there is no room left in the hotel and that IF I WANT, they can return the money paid for the upcoming days. Instead of getting ready for my official meeting I had to go around a the city and look for a hotel which has an available room. I will never ever book from this hotel and I recommend every one to bypass this hotel.

Nice hotel, only way to access elevator and staircase was with a room card. We checked in but 1 of the 2 booked rooms wasn't ready yet. Come back in 30 minutes they said. But after 30 minutes the room still not ready. Excuses for this was: we were fully booked last night and we have to little time from 11:00-15:00 to get all the rooms cleaned. 🫣🤔 Breakfast was good but refill of everything took long. We stayed from Thursday on Friday, at 04:30 at night we woke up from the noise of a garabagetruck picking up trash in the street. Not the hotels fault ofcourse. Over all a nice hotel.

Great location but I don’t get how is a 4-star hotel when there’s a lot of stuff in the rooms that’s being not taken care of. I booked what it was called “Superior city view room with king size bed” and I got a room with two small beds put together with a topper that didn’t fit both of the mattresses which made it very uncomfortable to sleep in. And the superior city View we got was to the big grey apartment that’s next to the hotel, which was very underwhelming and disappointing. The staff is very friendly though, the shower was really nice as well, and it’s sited in a really really good location, right next to the center.

Good Stay with Great Views and Comfort – Some Room for Improvement I recently stayed at the Mercure Antwerp City Centre, and overall, it was a good experience. The hotel enjoys a fantastic location overlooking the city’s beautiful park, and the views from the room were truly lovely — a perfect way to start the day. The bed was very comfortable, and I had a restful night’s sleep each night. The room itself was well-sized and had good natural light, which made it feel more welcoming. That said, the cleanliness and general maintenance of the hotel could use a bit more attention. A few areas felt a little tired and would benefit from a refresh and a deeper clean. These weren’t deal-breakers, but they did slightly affect the overall feel of the stay. Despite this, I still found the atmosphere pleasant, and the staff were polite and helpful when needed. With a few improvements in upkeep, this hotel could easily stand out as a top choice in Antwerp. All in all, a comfortable and enjoyable stay, especially if you value a good night’s sleep and scenic views.

Really nice hotel, great decor and lovely rooms (with a fridge!). Everything was very clean. Location was fab, we have two young children and there is the most brilliant park just over the road and was a short walk to the train station and town. The water filling station in the foyer is a real plus, it was the only place we stayed that had one so a big thumbs up with regards to reducing the amount of plastic bottles used. We did have an issue when checking out in that they were insistent they could not find our payment. The lady was polite but quite accusatory. I was quite bemused by this as I had only a few hours earlier read a negative review left a couple of weeks prior from someone claiming they did the very same thing and then also charged their card again. Fortunately I had a confirmation email with a reference number and was able to give the name of the travel agent we booked through. They said they would contact the travel agent and then myself to get a screenshot of the payment showing in our banking app as we couldn't access that at the time. I contacted the travel agent immediately on leaving and they confirmed it had been paid as they aren't able to book without payment. They never heard from the hotel and neither did we. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt in that it is some sort of an error with their system but I think it's worth noting.

While the breakfast buffet has something for everyone, there have been occasional complaints about temperature and service consistency.
Although the hotel is not very big as like Crown Plaza hotel. But I prefer stay this hotel. The big room with high quality of hygiene especially the bathing room. The hotel venue is very convenient because I can walk to Inno shopping mall and back to MA go music institute to have music lessons. The bed is good and I take a very good sleep quality. Thanks! The breakfast is also nice too!

The hotel is located in an area where parking is quite difficult to find, although the hotel offers paid parking for €21 per day. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the lobby area looked pleasant and modern. Unfortunately, the room did not meet the expectations of a four-star hotel. Upon arrival, I noticed that the toilet was not properly cleaned, there was some mold on the bathroom ceiling, and the water bottle in the room appeared to have been previously opened. These issues significantly affected my impression of the stay. I hope the management will address them, but personally, I would not choose this hotel again.

The most important thing for me was the room. Nice and spacious comfortable beds coffee making and en suite facilities and even a balcony. Nice quiet location too
Alan F — Google review
This property does not meet the standard of a true 4-star hotel. Here are the main issues we experienced: • The mosquito net on the balcony was torn and hanging loose, making it impossible to enjoy the outdoor space. There’s also no privacy on the balcony — you can’t leave the door open or enjoy the sunset comfortably. • The coffee machine had a broken control panel. • No basic amenities were provided — just a generic 3-in-1 product for shower, sink, and shampoo. • Everything feels very outdated and poorly maintained. • Several light switches in the room didn’t work. Even worse, twice during the night, the lights in our room turned on by themselves — possibly controlled from the neighboring room. This was very disturbing. • Soundproofing is poor. We could clearly hear our neighbors clicking switches and trying to figure out what they control — possibly ours. • Many visible maintenance issues: peeling wallpaper, scratches, damaged shower curtain, loose fixtures, etc. That said, there were a few decent aspects: • Despite many complaints about breakfast in reviews, we found it quite standard — with most items people typically expect in a hotel breakfast. • The parking is not directly in the building, but it’s nearby, easy to access, and reasonably priced. • The mattress was comfortable, and the shower had strong water pressure, even though we were staying on the top floor. This hotel still needs renovation and much better quality control.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff were really nice, the area is safe and nice. We drank our coffee every morning in the hotel. Its about 15 Min walk from central station 🙏🏽 The room cleaning was a bit sloppy but we are ok with that And also the shower was a bit uneasy to use The general experience was great and we will recommend

I would definitely come back to this hotel if I went to Antwerp again and can highly recommend it. We spent 5 nights in this hotel and were glad we chooses this hotel: The room (we had a double deluxe for 3 persons) was extremely spacious and well decorated. Even though it was on the street side there was no noise. Free coffee machine in the room. The whole hotel was clean and had a cosy welcoming atmosphere. Staff was especially helpful and very friendly. Breakfast was fabulous! Area is safe and close to the station. City centre is easy to access with public transport.

Perfectly comfortable room (deluxe), spacious, well equipped, windows to the backyard overseeing old trees. Well air conditioned. Good breakfast. Very restful stay. Located in the jewish neighborhoods and well connected to the city centre. Parking: 15 minutes for free, 4,40€ for 3 hours. We recommend using one of the P+R Parkings that can be reached by tram in 10-15 minutes.

Had 2 nights here with my family and it was fantastic the rooms incredible, the hotel is incredible, the staff are amazing the food is unreal highly recommend the chocolate pie! The breakfast buffet is really nice also with alot to offer. Parking is secure and a decent price €21 per night and is 2 mins from the hotel. We made a tiktok of the hotel to show how superb it is feel free to check it out https://vm.tiktok.com/ZNdCc1CoV/

Hotel Pilar is a trendy 17-room hotel located in the upscale t Zuid neighborhood, directly across from the Royal Museum of Fine Arts. The hotel features an industrial-chic design created by interior architect Sam Peeters and hospitality professional Christophe Ysewyn. Downstairs, guests can enjoy the all-day Foodbar offering a mix of culinary influences with dishes like mussels with dashi and coconut or fried eggs with labneh for breakfast.
Great location in a charming neighborhood with plenty of terasses and restaurants nearby, and a tram station just a short walk away, taking you to the city center in 10 minutes. The staff is incredibly friendly! The blend of minimalist design, vintage furniture, and graphic artwork, along with the laid-back vibe of the restaurant, makes you feel right at home. The rooms are simple but spacious, with tasteful design touches that show the architect's influence; there’s an espresso machine, but no fridge ; the bed and shower are both very comfortable. The only reason we’re giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that we would’ve loved more intuitive lighting options (instead of just on or off) and a dry area near the shower for convenience. 😘

My stay was a disaster The door to my room did not close, and the heating in the room didn’t work. I arrived to find my room completely open and totally freezing. In the morning, the room was so cold inside that there was water on the windows. Building work on my floor started before 7am. The door to the fire escape was propped open, which only made me even colder. There were workmen banging, scraping, and slamming doors from 7am. All made worse by the fact that my own room door wouldn’t close and so kept banging every time they went past. It turned out I’d even been put in the wrong room I told the front desk about this in the morning, but then sat at breakfast for an hour, with no apology or even acknowledgement from management. I watched the manager across the room stand for half an hour laugh and joke with some customers, but he didn’t even make eye contact me. This is the first time I have left a review for any hotel, but I feel I have to because it was so bad. Stay anywhere else in Antwerp but here. The street would be quieter, warmer, and cheaper. Delicious breakfast though

We were warmly welcomed at Hotel Pilar when we visited Antwerp for a wedding. The hotel is quaint, cozy, and clean, and our room was spacious, which made the stay extra comfortable. I am especially grateful to the staff for helping me get a sentimental book I inadvertently left in our room returned to me in the USA. My thanks for their conscientious effort with that task! The hotel is also priced reasonably and has a fun adjoining restaurant and ideal location. Definitely recommend!

The rooms are cosy and the location is great, however this time we just went for dinner. The place is lovely, service is attentive, and the dishes are well plated and delicious. Always a must go when we visit Antwerp. The open lasagna and aubergine are flavorful, the shoestring fries are perfectly seasoned. The beans and salad are great accompaniments. Do not skip the bread and butter, which is usually brought along with food. We also ordered the cod, as a vegetarian I did not try it, but was told it was great.

Arty spacious. Bath is a great addition to the room. Great interior design. Loved the balcony. Can be loud, specially if fellow-guests on the same floor want to try the bath at 04:00 in the morning. Great breakfast, good outdoor seating. Will come again

Hotel Les Nuits is a refined boutique hotel located in Antwerp, just a short walk from the Grote Markt. Housed in a former bank building, this swanky hotel offers 22 individually decorated rooms, some with soaking tubs and rooftop views over the city. The hotel features a restaurant/bar, complimentary Wi-Fi, and 24-hour room service.
Lovely small family-run hotel in the heart of Antwerp. Bit tricky to find, but I felt welcome from the first minute. *Hospitality: The staff, esp. all receptionists I've met during my stay, are outstandingly friendly and great hosts. They recommended places to go and were always up for a quick chat. Fantastic. *Breakfast: Incredibly good, many homemade foods, fresh juice, healthy stuff, ... This is next level. These two bonus points made more than up for the slight inconvenience I had upon arrival, when my reservation could not be found in the system. Will def. book again next time.
Manuel W — Google review
Stylishly thought-out hotel with atmospheric candles on arrival. Receptionist was so lovely offering refreshing cold mint water. Room was ready early, spacious and clean. It’s well priced for the area which is good for shopping. Would definitely stay again ❤️
Maximilian R — Google review
Very disappointed with Hotel Les Nuits in Antwerp, especially given the high ratings (8.3 on Booking, 4.3 on Google). For the price, the quality is lacking. The rooms are poorly designed, with no doors for the bathroom or toilet, and the toilet space was so cramped my husband (180 cm) couldn’t sit comfortably. The room was also extremely noisy, with sounds from the hallway and the busy street outside. As someone who lives in Paris, I’m used to a noisy city, but I expect to sleep well in an expensive hotel—this was not the case. Breakfast was another disappointment. It’s extremely basic and overpriced at €25. On the morning of my breakfast a large group of 30 people was having breakfast in a separate room, near the buffet, the doors were open, so the noise was overwhelming for a quiet Saturday morning. When I asked the staff to close the doors, the person in charge was dismissive and said it wasn’t possible because of the passage through the doors. I mentioned that it was a bit much for such an expensive breakfast, and he rudely replied that it wasn’t his fault and he couldn’t control the group. I stay in many hotels, and the most important thing for me is the room’s acoustics. For over €200 per night, I expected more—at the very least, a quiet, comfortable room and better service during breakfast. Sadly, this stay didn’t meet expectations at all.
Louise S — Google review
Landed here just for one night. Pretty central and hidden. Newly furnished but amazingly short of common space. Rooms generously furnished. Top service and crew members. To recommend for romantic short weekend. Strategic location
Andrea Z — Google review
I went there as part of an agreement with another hotel which had overbooked my room. So first they tried to trick me into paying, so it cost me a round trip to the former hotel 3km away past midnight "to clarify". And it was clear from the start, I just face a dishonest receptionist. The rooms are correct, lots of wasted space though, kind of a cold atmosphere, partly unhook drapes, leaking shower. the next morning after 4 hours sleep, the woman at the reception tried to gaslight me saying it's standard procedure to take a creditcard footprint, which was not the point as her receptionist had explicitly asked me to pay despite the agreement with the other hotel, which was clearly wrongdoing. I didn't try their breakfast. They are dishonest, the value for the money isn't great, I'm not returning there.

We Stayed here for two nights for leisure, we booked a deluxe double room, very nice and well laid out a bit quirky as the toilet didn't actually have a door but it worked. The Hotel, well located 10 minutes walk from the train station metro outside beside shops and restaurants etc a little funny to find the actual hotel as it's at the side of a shop and you take the lift to the 4th floor reception. And no coffee tea machine in rooms but part of the boutique thing is you call receptionist and it's brought up same with breakfast a little different and quirky but nice All in a good city centre hotel would stay again
Mick — Google review
We had a super breakfast in this hotel! We received a voucher for "breakfast with bubbles" and chose this hotel to try it out because of the food reviews and perfect location. We were welcomed by 2 super friendly persons who made us feel immediately welcome and comfortable. The room where breakfast is served is very cozy and nicely decorated. It feels like home, really. The buffet was plenty with all top quality products. Each of the items we tried was top in its category. The cava that was served with the breakfast was very fruity and perfectly balanced to accompany a breakfast. My guess is that this hotel has a very talented person choosing top products and a skilled team to prepare it well. During breakfast we were a well offered a choice of soft boiled or scrambled eggs, fruit juices and a delicious home made smoothie.. So to conclude: a really great place to have wonderful breakfast in a calm cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Hotel Flora, located in the heart of Antwerp, is a unique boutique hotel with medieval roots and a rich history as the former home of local printing merchants. The interiors, designed by Gert Voorjans, are anything but old-school, featuring vibrant colors and hand-painted frescoes by local artist Niels Verkaeren. Each of the seven bedrooms has its own distinctive style, such as Agate with its leopard-print carpet and canary-yellow walls.
This hotel made my entire experience in Antwerp EXCEPTIONAL! The team here goes above and beyond in truly every way. On top of the exceptional service is the incredibly well appointed Property. Literally not a single detail was left unattended. From the art to the lighting to the hangers in the room, literally everywhere you look you are just wowed. Also the beds are exceptionally comfortable, half firm half medium for your liking. Who does that?! I will 100% be coming back and can’t wait for the breakfast and the evening by the fireplace.

This place is an absolute gem! Tucked away in one of the side streets of Amsterdam, this hotel takes you right back to the golden 20s. If Wes Anderson would own a hotel, this would be it. The style on the website is described as Rococo meets 1920 New York City and I think that pretty much nails it. The rooms each have a theme and are decorated with the most love for details I have seen so far! There is a small garden, a common area, the lobby and not one of the places fails to amaze and please the eye. The service was outstanding!! Not just polite but genuinely friendly staff. We will definitely come back next time we are in Antwerp

Hotel Flora felt like a home away from home. The service, rooms and people were amazing and made the stay feel like a dream. If you want a stay that feels personal and homely, this is the perfect place. Pieter whips up a killer cocktail and the chef produced the most delicious and fresh breakfast I've ever had. Could not recommend them more

My girlfriend and I have been going to Flora at the same time of the year for the past 3 years and at the end of each stay, we find ourselves looking forward to our next visit already. It's like our second Christmas. The hotel is very tastefully decorated - it's very vibrant, chic, inspiring, and exclusive. The breakfast is so good that you just want things to come and stay at the table for hours. The welcome cocktail is one of the best I've had: very fresh, rounded and well balanced. I'm coming from hospitality and what makes Flora very special to us (apart from the great product) is the service and people. Pieter and Stephen are very kind and gracious people who make you feel at home and welcome. They are some of the most unique hospitality professionals I've seen who seem to strike the perfect balance between professionalism and warmth and are passionate about what they're doing; the attention to detail and how much they go the extra mile is distinct. Thank you Flora for our past experiences and we look forward to our next visit(s)!

Staying at this hotel was a magical experience. The staff is utmost kind and considerate. The food is excellent, fresh and aligned with the season. The interior is mesmerizing, never have I seen something before. The love for art, design and exquisite taste for style make you feel personally connected with the hotel. There’s so much uniqueness in the details, from a welcoming drink to the design of the menu card. On top of all this, the hotel have put a lot of care in choosing the right bed and pillows that brings sleeping to a next level. You will leave this place feeling euphoric.

The most beautiful hotel in the heart of Antwerp. Once you stayed here you will never want to set your foot in a huge chain hotel. The entire hotel is decorated with taste. Totally fell in love with Hotel Flora! Thank you for having us!

(Translated by Google) We really enjoyed our stay in this luxurious suite! Checking in was very pleasant and we were welcomed in a friendly manner. After a quick check-in we were able to enjoy the Victorian Classic suite right away. It was quite a climb, 3 flights of stairs, but it was definitely worth it. When entering this suite we experienced a homely atmosphere. The suite was clean and fresh and it felt like coming home. The bathroom was very luxurious with a beautiful bath and separate shower cubicle. This bathroom also consisted of 2 separate sinks. Unfortunately the weather did not allow us to sit on the balcony. The kitchen has a nice layout and it is very nice that there is a refrigerator in this modern kitchen. All in all we really enjoyed it! The hospitality is top notch. If we had any questions we could contact Davy by phone, he was always friendly to us. In short... family-friendly and lots of luxury!

Incredible experience at this hotel during my stay in Antwerp. The staff were friendly and housekeepers just as much! The room my family and I stayed at was very spacious, including a kitchenette and bathroom with ample space. The kitchenette had lots of storage space for our foods, even a microwave! The bed area was very large and two full sized beds still fit with ample space to walk around. My room had a view of the station, which to my delight, had perfect privacy from people inside the station. Well done to the housekeepers who tied up every day and replaced used with fresh towels!

Absolutely the best. I got such a nice room with a great view to the station. Spacious and superclean room. Friendly and very helpful front desk staff. Excellent breakfast. Only complain I might have would be the smokers on the front entrance due to close proximity of the bus stop.

Not a great hotel for families. Rooms very dated. Carpets in the rooms and nasty stains all over them, feels very dirty. Bed like a block of wood and pillows with filling all knotted and bunched in places. No sound proofing at all so can hear people in the hallways, and very busy train station right outside so very loud. Parking very far, so if coming with a car avoid this hotel at all costs, if not for the reasons above anyway. Arrived at 11pm with 2 very tired children, 2 and 4 years old. No parking at all outside, risked parking in the road for a few minutes while unloading the bags. Asked wife to go and check in so I could park the car. Parking is 15/20 minutes away including walk back to hotel. Asked my wife to check in and go to the room. Her purse and phone was in the car in the hurry. When I got to the hotel they were still at reception and was told receptionist wouldn’t give the key because the tourist tax had to be paid. I asked the receptionist why couldn’t you give my wife and kids the room key as I was coming back and it’s 11pm for a 2 and 4 year old who were very restless and making it difficult for wife to look after. Fee was only €5 and all she said is I can’t give it, there’s cameras all over watching me. It’s such a stupid excuse, and doesn’t care about customers at all and their struggles. Wife was struggling for 20 minutes with 2 children who were rolling around the floor while she just watched on. They could have been in bed, and all for €5 which we were obviously going to pay anyway, along with the parking costs at the reception. Had to come back to pay that after anyway for a parking garage which was a while away. I then asked if the request we made for a cot in the room was seen and if there was a cot. She said I can see your request so there will be a cot in the room, and if there isn’t just let us know. She didn’t care at all. Surprise surprise no cot in the room, so waited another 20 minutes with the kids for the cot to be bought up. Wished we never booked this hotel, staff with no empathy or care for customers. Avoid at all costs.

Great place to stay. Rooms are good size. Gym equipment, though not many, very effective with what’s available. Swimming pool is alright. Staff is wonderful and the ambiance is very pleasing in the restaurant and reception area. Overall, would be staying again, but upgrade to the suite for that extra bit of lux ✨

They do not allow 3 adults in their large rooms with 2 double beds. This was not clear to me while making my booking on Expedia. They claimed this is due to fire insurance. Be that as it may, the room is plenty big, it could comfortably house 4 adults. If this policy has zero exceptions, that is fine but how they handled it was not pleasant. Can I cancel the room? Sure but you will be charged the entire full price of your stay regardless. The only option I was presented with was booking an entire other room for our 3rd guest in our party for 800 euros. I felt forced into spending a lot more money and did not feel taken care of in any way. It would have been nice if they could have worked some kind of a deal (maybe downgrade the big room to 2 smaller rooms and charge 300 or 400 euros, or food vouchers or something). I just felt squeezed for money and dissatisfied. The rooms are nice but if you want more than 2 adults in your double bed room book somewhere else.

The room itself was okay. But what made the experience atrocious was the service at the restaurant and at the bar. I think I've seen more professional and more polite service at McDonald's. And the man and lady wearing suits, supposedly the "managers", were the worst of all, not even trying to pretend they cared one bit about being polite. Maybe something was wrong, maybe they were understaffed, but in no case it can ever be an excuse to lack decent politeness towards the customers (Many other people in the restaurant were shocked). For 200 euros a night and a four star hotel, it is really an appalling experience.

First time at Van Der Valk Antwerp and definitely not the last. I was urgently looking for accommodation in Antwerp with free parking, as I was traveling by car and needed to move around a lot. Two things immediately won me over: the renovated rooms with large windows, and the complimentary parking for hotel guests. This is incredibly valuable, and I truly appreciate that Van Der Valk doesn’t charge for it, something rare these days and worth highlighting. The parking system is super convenient: you just go to the reception, and then the gate recognizes your license plate, so you can enter and exit easily throughout your stay. I also made a very specific request, which was promptly accommodated. The room itself is spacious, with a comfortable bed and an enormous window that makes the space feel even larger. The soundproofing is excellent, and the bathroom, especially the shower, is both beautiful and highly functional. At reception, special thanks go to Mr. Bastiaan, who was exceptionally kind and helpful with bicycles (yes we can rent some.. super cool) and other needs. Compared to my awful experience at Sélys in Liège, this stay completely restored my trust in Van Der Valk as a brand : one that truly combines five-star service with accessible prices.

It was very nice hotel, I enjoyed it a lot with my boyfriend. The staff is really friendly, you feel right away at home . The breakfast and diner were good, live cooking was really good and that everything was fresh. The room was perfect, big nice room and the shower area was also very good. We stayed 2 nights , came on friday and left sunday. The location is also good, with parking place . We will definitely come back again to this hotel !!!! Thank you so much for the service. Kind of regards, Gracia Warsosemito

Novotel Antwerpen is a modern 3-star hotel located in a quiet area near Antwerp's train station. It offers streamlined rooms with terrace dining, an outdoor pool, and free Wi-Fi. The hotel provides easy access to attractions such as the Butcher's Hall museum and the Museum Plantin-Moretus. With comfortable rooms and amenities like children's menu, gaming room, and board games for kids, it's suitable for families.
My recent stay at Novotel was very good. From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me with warm hospitality and ensured a smooth check-in. The room was spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, with a comfortable bed that guaranteed a great night’s sleep.

I didn't feel welcome at reception, either upon check-in or upon check-out. The bathroom in my room had hair on the floor and sink when I arrived, and the daily cleaning wasn't the best! Breakfast is only good if it's managed by a man attentive to every detail. The ladies don't care if the coffee maker works, if there's yogurt, if they're out of bread, etc. I don't smoke, but my room smelled of cigarettes. The hotel is too far away! My friend stayed at a luxury hotel downtown, and there wasn't much of a price difference.

Very Disappointing Stay – Not Worth 4 Stars I recently stayed at this hotel and had a very bad experience. The room was extremely old and poorly maintained. The carpet was dirty and had a strong, unpleasant smell. Many items in the room were broken or damaged, which made the stay even more frustrating. The bed sheets had stains and didn’t feel clean. The mattress on the main bed was clearly used and very hard, making it uncomfortable to sleep on. The sofa bed was even worse – the mattress was so thin and low that you could feel the metal frame underneath. It was impossible to get a good night’s sleep. Overall, the room did not reflect the quality you would expect from a 4-star hotel. It felt neglected and unhygienic. I would not recommend this hotel and definitely will not be coming back.

Pros: - Breakfast was fair. - If you want to be close to the port, location is good. Cons: - Location is very far away from the center etc. - There was no hot water 1 day. I said to reception and being told “yes there is a problem” I said back “then why you haven’t inform us?” The answer was amazing “yes, actually it was a great idea” - The customer service are incapable to answer your requirement and they are basically very rude. Example day 1: I said “I am starving can I have my soup and my main dish asap?” i have my soup in 10 mins and my main dish is in 45 mins. Example day 2: Can I have more bread? The service guy said; “you are not allowed”. I said back “What do you mean, you are not allowed? I am asking kindly to have couple slices of bread; either free or either I can pay” Nothing happened... Then in cashier, I said “I did not drink coke (yes it was on the bill even I did not have it) neither a bread. Her reply was amazing(!) “but you have your soup huh?” I said “sorry?!” She is obviously no professional “you have your soup with bread thats it” I said “That’s it? I was ok to pay but no one come like my order, you are definitely rude how can you talk like that” she said nothing, basically nothing seems like nothing happened… no sorry to extra coke charging no sorry for misunderstanding at least. Nothing… This is service industry and the people work within should, actually must know how to talk with their customers in a decent way. It’s basic and fundamental, if matters…

Petrol smells every day un the room around 5:00AM. Due to airco (you can't turn it off) propagating outside trucks exhausts inside the room.

We stayed only one night, as a golden member of ALL, we reserved a room with a double bed and one bed extra for our child. When we checked in I noticed the extra bed didn’t have blanket nor pillow, it had only sheet. At 16:35( you can check who was in charge at this time) I had a very awful conversation experience with the reception staff. I explained what I saw and asked for a pillow and blanket for my child, first she said she doesn’t have any. I asked can you communicate with cleaning rooms, she said you have four pilliw on the other bed use them! But these pillows is for this bed as other room , when we pay for extra bed it should equipping with pillow and blanket or say to people to bring from home!! She found a pillow at the reception and for blanket she said I don’t have. Again the same conversation can you pls check with cleaning rooms she replied they are closed. When I ask to find a solution or take from one of your room that not all rooms were full, her solution was a heater in the degree of 24-26! I said I’ll report it to the manger and she replied do it! I’m wondering what a customer service this branch is following up, I’ve never ever been in such a frustrating situation. Hope somebody read this!

Clean bedroom. Enough space. Extensive and good breakfast. Good and cozy bar. Actually everything was perfect to my standards, but a bit more luxuoury for the price would have been nice. But no complains at all. Great hotel.

So the hotel overall was pretty okay a little bit in the Outskirts but if you come with a car it’s pretty much Good and if you come by train/bus you have to walk a little bit to the closest station but it is okay and they even have a pool and the restaurant is not bad either and the rooms are also okay there sofa beds are a little bit uncomfortable but they are okay I think we set it up a little bit wrong but maybe it could be something else but the bed is big and good they also have a safe and the fridge was locked for some reason but overall a 8/10 the price was also okay .

The Premier Suites Plus Antwerp serviced accommodation is perfect for travellers who need a bit of extra space. Some of the suites include microwaves, so you can cook your own meals if you're travelling with family. The self-catering studios and apartments also come with a king-size bed, a fully equipped kitchenette, a lounge area with dining table, modern bathroom with a power shower, and private balcony or access to shared terrace.
10/10! We are family of 3. The size of the room is spacious! Everything is neat and well arranged. The location is perfect and in quiet area. There are 2 elevators that run quickly that you don’t need to wait too long. The service, I would give additional 5 stars. The front desks are the kindest and helpful staff. Emails and requests were responded very fast. Ismail, Louis and Ulfat had helped with care and respect. I would recommend anyone who visit Antwerp to stay here.

PREMIER SUITES Antwerp is a very honest and pleasant hotel, perfectly located right next to Antwerp Central Station and within walking distance of all major sights, shops, and restaurants. The reception and breakfast area are on the 7th floor, offering a stunning view over the city. For security, access to the guest room floors is only possible by scanning your room card, a detail we really appreciated. We stayed on the 4th floor, where the view was beautiful. The room itself was spacious, clean, with a very comfortable bed. A nice touch was the in-room espresso capsules, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a great choice in Antwerp, clean, comfortable, safe, with an excellent central location and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended.

My fiancée and I stayed in a room with kitchen. We had a pleasant few days and the hotel is in a fantastic location, but for a place that claims to be “luxury” the list of issues we had is frankly too long. • The shower was practically unusable; seemingly with no regard for the temperature setting it alternated between boiling and freezing. • Several of the plates and glasses in the kitchen were dirty when we arrived. One of the towels in the bathroom also had a stain on it. • The side rack in the fridge was broken and mostly unusable—not ideal given its already small size. The freezer section was even tinier and could barely fit a tub of ice cream or a pizza. • Several different pillows were provided but none were actually comfortable. They seemed more decorative than anything. Admittedly we got a good deal on the room, but I do not think it is worth its normal asking price. If you find it for cheap, though, I mostly recommend it.

Centrally located in Antwerp within a 5 minute walk from Franklin Roosevelt Plaatz. Reception staff were knowledgable & helpful. The room including bathroom was excellent, clean, a good size & well appointed with tv, kettle & capsule coffee machine. Balcony was nice. Reception area leads to a bar & breakfast area. Overall very impressed with the hotel, facilities & staff & decided to extend our stay by a day

Here's my honest review, because I believe future Travellers deserve not to be fooled: We were 3 couples, travelling together and staying here at Premier Suites for 7 nights during the Tomorrowland music festival in July 2025. We booked these penthouse suites as they offered space, Air conditioning, cleanliness and the facilities we needed over the 7 days. Pros: The location of the apartment/"hotel" is great, 5 minute walk to the train station and close to tons of restaurants, clothing stores, grocery stores etc The space was nice and big, and it had a small kitchenette which we used to cook and heat up ready made meals The staff was mostly friendly, until they were overburdened by requests then they became snappy (see next section) It was true to photos, in terms of amenities and quality. It had modern finishes but you could see it had not been maintained well in the past few years. Photos most likely taken upon remodeling and haven't been updated. Cons: The worst pillows I have ever laid my head upon - no other pillows were able to be provided. Those soft ones where your head sinks in and ends up just being on the mattress so the pillow is doing nothing. The water pressure and heating oscillates consistently. It changes between hot and cold, hard and soft and there's nothing they can do to fix it (manageable but annoying". 1/3 rooms did not have a working kettle and staff refused to make a plan and offer to replace it. The wifi worked for maybe 10 minutes each day, then you were unable to connect to this. We do remote work, and not having access to reliable wifi was a huge problem trying to take business meetings. On the last morning they offered us to use the staff wifi but this didn't help the 7 days of having no connection / unreliable connection (not manageable and no solution offered). This is a simple fix, find a new provider guys everyone was complaining. They stated that the apartments were serviced on the website, and if you booked for 7 nights you were entitled to this. Upon arrival they stated this is different during peak times and you must book for 8 nights to receive cleaning services. You can pay 25 euros for a clean each day if you want. There are no cleaning supplies in the room (broom, mop etc) and this is manageable, but a clean and change of sheets, towels etc is necessary after around 3 days. They stated you may request clean towels and sheets and provided you change these yourself, there are no additional charges. However, friends of ours on the same floor were charged the full 25 euros for just having new sheets placed outside their door, seemed unfair, so we were confused about this. The air conditioning was unreliable, it would fault in the middle of the night and we would wake up boiling in our rooms. It would go off for hours at a time during the day too, leaving us extremely bothered, and the staff simply said its a general issue. They didn't seem to care as it looked like they knew this was a recurring issue. Same as other reviews I see. Each day we had to ask them to reset our AC and then it would magically work for a few hours. 1 out of our 3 rooms AC did not work 90% of the time and they suffered way more. After every reset it still didn't work. After the 3rd complaint thebstaff became dissmissive with them. In the middle of a European heatwave, you cannot have faulty AC - this was not manageable, this one of our main reasons for choosing this "hotel". There was a terrible smell throughout the hotel, probably because of the cleaning supplies and painting they were using, it was manageable. But one of the 3 rooms had a terrible, pungent smell from the first day and the staff refused to come and spray, re clean or do anything about it. We stayed on the 7th floor, and had balcony access which was nice, however there was an incredible strong sewage smell when you stood on this balcony. Manageable for about 10 minutes but you could not sit outside and enjoy the scenery. MORE INFO BELOW

We stayed in Prime suites Antwerp for two nights, the room was pretty much the same as in the picture with modern designs and comfortable beds and pillows. The receptionist who help us to check in was extremely kind and made us very happy. However, after trying to connect the WiFi, my partner and I were both unable to connect the WiFi and we got back to the reception. The staff was still very kind and keen to help. We wait for the manager to come, in the end he came and tell us that his phone is working well with the Wifi and told us sometime Apple phone has the issue to be connected, mine was Samsung so it was all good, please be patient, he is going to reset the server etc. We were very patient waiting for a solution but the manager was like thinking we were trying to find an issue. Moreover, I don’t need to know if your phone is working or not, you are not the guests who need WiFi and have the right to be used. Anyway, we tried to connect WiFi in the next two hours, and luckily mine was connected but my partner’s connected the next day. At night, we were also trying to use the shower and the temperature would go in five different time of degrees, from super cold to super hot and it doesn’t change back to normal. The temperature is not consistent. It was an interesting experience to stay in this hotel. For people who don’t care about WiFi, water temperature and price, recommend you to stay in Prime Suite

DO NOT book here. Mold in the shower, dirty dishes in the dishwasher, stains on the towels, and they gave us the wrong room. When I asked to speak with a manager, they told me they were not available and to send an email. No response after several attempts. They clearly do not care.

WIFI ❌ Comfy Bed ✅ Nice Room ✅ Good Location ✅ I do some work on the road which requires large design files. So hotspotting off my eSIM can get very costly, very quickly. If you don't really need consistent WIFI, this is a good hotel. If you do expect modernity and dependable WIFI, this is not the hotel for you.

The hotel's classic yet modern decor, personalized attention, and peaceful surroundings create a warm welcome for guests. A brilliant stay over the New Year period! Annabelle was a great host and made us feel very welcome throughout. Our room was spectacular - spacious and comfortable. The honesty bar was well stocked and had plenty of choice. The neighbourhood has plenty of great bars and restaurants, and is perfectly located for those wishing to avoid the busy city centre.

I can highly recommend Maison Emile. As the producer of an international exhibition at a local museum, we accommodated our incoming artists at this hotel, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. First of all, the setting is beautiful, and I was genuinely impressed by the overall design and atmosphere of Maison Emile. The rooms were very comfortable, and all the artists were especially pleased with the delicious breakfast and the warm, welcoming ambiance. The manager was exceptionally proactive—coordinating various check-in times and responding to numerous last-minute requests with professionalism and efficiency. Several of our guests also made use of the hotel’s bicycles, which was a nice added benefit. I would recommend Maison Emile not only for individual travelers but also for small groups of professionals looking for a more luxurious and unique place to stay in the south of Antwerp. Overall, our collaboration with the hotel was smooth and professional, and I would not hesitate to work with them again.

We were so pleased with the room, the hotel, the location, and especially our host Annabelle. We stayed in room 104 - the only room with a balcony - which was quite large with plenty of windows and French doors opening to the balcony. Check in was easy; Annabelle conscientiously reached out early regarding arrival time and greeted us with ideas for afternoon/evening entertainment. When we return to Antwerp we will absolutely return to this delightful hotel. PS We found the hotel soaps, lotion, and shampoo lovely and unique, so I purchased some to bring home as a reminder of our enchanting stay.

super modern rooms at the city center with great access. Reasonable price. I want to go to Antewerp just to stay at this place. Really enjoyed staying. the only thing I didn't like was the room had big steps as you walk from the door to the living area and between the living area to the bedroom

Many things were broken in de room, the AC which made an strange noise the entire night, the shower, the remote to the fire place etc.. the rooms look amazing, but functionality wise it wasn't what we expected.

This place is no longer a hotel! It has been transformed into an airbnb-style managed place but still claims itself as a professional hotel with a front desk on many booking sites. If you try to call the number they provide during the "welcome email", it is no longer active, and they do not respond to their email address, at least not within the duration of a several day stay. When we arrived, the hotel had "for rent" signs on the front window and looked completely abandoned. We ran into one guest who was staying here through airbnb and showed us how to enter, via a small side door. We then had to do the same for an older couple who were outside the following evening bewildered. They didn't even have a room number and had to go around to each room trying their access code since that is all that you are provided 48hrs before your stay, without clear instructions of what to do with it. The room itself, at first glance, was as beautiful as the photos showed, because it used to be a luxury hotel. However, they have not been well-maintained since the transition and are starting to lose some of their grandeur. Our room was incredibly dusty, the toilet leaked on the floor when it was flushed, one of the windows had been repaired with tape, and the heat/AC unit did not work. It seems like even when it does work, you are "restricted" in what you can set - nearly every button we clicked led to this - and whichever mode we tried to turn on, the unit would go on for a few minutes, make a lot of noise, blow zero air and then turn itself off. Despite it being several beautiful summer days and evenings in Antwerp - highs of 23C, lows of 10C - our room was unbearably hot at night to sleep. We had one window that could open and even with this, the room temperature only lowered by 1 C. Overall, the only positive about this place was its location. But at the prices they charge, if you were specifically looking for a real hotel like we were, (in order to avoid just these sorts of problems!), you will be sorely disappointed.
Giselle E — Google review
Do not book. This is no longer a staffed hotel, but a half-assed AirBNB still marketed as though it is a hotel. Their contact number is disconnected. We arrived to find a beautiful room, but soon found that is all this place has to offer. The climate control system does not function, so while it was 14C outside we spent the night sweating in 26C heat while the thermostat just flashed errors at us. No hotel staff to talk to, no contact number given. The solution to a leaky toilet was a bathmat. 0/10 would not recommend.
Joshua M — Google review
We had stayed at this hotel before and had a lovely experience, so we decided to return. How disappointed we were to learn that it’s no longer a hotel, but just rooms for rent. The restaurant and reception have been fully demolished. During our three-night stay, there was no room cleaning at all. Nobody replied to our WhatsApp messages, and we couldn’t leave our luggage after check-out because there was no lobby or staff available. It wasn’t communicated to us that the hotel had transformed into an Airbnb-style operation upon booking. When we checked their website, it stated that this transition would begin on May 14th, but we arrived on the 11th. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. I don’t think they should still represent themselves as a hotel at all.
Ally L — Google review
So much potential: Large rooms, cool design, but getting a little tatty. Cleaning is lazy, some dust on less used surfaces. Bins weren’t emptied from previous stayers which is disgusting. Room 1 (and 2) doors don’t open without shouldering it, significant health and safety risk in emergency! Clearly scrapes along the floor. Ac didn’t work just flashed.
T S — Google review
1000€ Bed Bugs - My girlfriend and I just returned from our 3-night stay at "De Gulde Schoen," which wasn’t at all so "schoen." Attracted by the accommodation’s allegedly beautiful rooms, we clearly fell prey to "shiny object syndrome." It was totally overpriced, with grubby cleaning and definitely no attention to detail. Do yourself a favor and don't turn your pillows around or take a closer look at several carpets. But hey, you can buy additional cleaning for 30€ a day! Isn’t that an offer?! That money is definitely better spent on an exterminator! And better bring your own towel racks because - guess what - almost none are there! Instead of shoving a hell of a lot of money into that greedy owner’s pocket (who obviously doesn’t value quality cleaning), you better stay at the Hilton 50 meters away and save yourself a lot of money and headaches. Best regards

Vicky, the host is very kind. The place is beautiful, comfy and clean. Time runs fast in the bathtub. Plus, it has a parking spot (thumbs up). The breakfast is good, lots of energy to start the day. Very quirky small guest house in city centre.very friendly host who provides excellent breakfast. Superb location with easy walk of all shops and restaurants.most important, she has a car park space, which is rare in this car-unfriendly city! Minus points are no lift and narrow stairs and "open bathroom" arrangement which would not suit everybody, but room is warm and cosy.good for young couples on a romantic city break but older couples may struggle with stairs

Aplace Antwerp is a charming accommodation in the heart of Antwerp, offering modern and stylish suites and apartments. The property, located on a beautiful square, provides cozy urban nests with vintage decor. Guests can enjoy spacious accommodations that feel like home, complete with unexpected little extras. The central location allows for easy access to popular attractions such as the Cathedral, Grote Markt, and Meir Ave.
I highly recommend staying at Aplace in Antwerp. Clean, welcoming and safe. Karin has put time and energy into making her place beautiful while comfortable. Located on a lively but peaceful Vrijdagmarkt, you will feel like a local while using Aplace as a home base.

Our stay at A Place Antwerp was lovely. We truly felt at home. The two-bedroom apartment is very chic, with lots of light, and very well located. Calvin’s attention is unmatched. The apartment has everything you need to comfortably live in the heart of the city. We will be back in Antwerp. And we will definitely be back to A Place. It is a must!

What to say about Aplace? This is a flawless and unforgettable place to stay in the very heart of the city, right in the coziest square of Antwerp, just next to the beautifilul Plantin Moretus building and museum. The large rooms and the 2 apartments are amazing, furnitured with impeccable style and taste, with a great attention to details, lighting quality of the rooms, fresh flowers and top linings (in the bathrooms soaps and shower gel are by Molton Brown!). Just one thing to add, maybe one of the most significant qualities of Aplace: the professionality, sympathy and kindness of Karin and of the whole staff. Top of the Tops!

This was my second time in Aplace Antwerp. I liked it so much the first time that I didn’t even bother to look for another place to stay, this time with my two daughters. The location is simply fantastic, next to everything you need to see in Antwerp. If you arrive by train and don’t have too much luggage to carry, you can simply walk to the Apartment, located in the beautiful Vrijdadmarkt, right next to the Plantin Moretus Museum and walking distance to the Cathedral, Grote Markt and the Meir Ave., where you can find all the most important stores if you like shopping. There are also beautiful designers stores all around the area. We stayed in the very comfortable first floor apartment, with its beautiful view, especially at night when lighted, to the Vrijdagmarkt square. The bedrooms are comfortable, the bathroom and toilet impeccable and the small modern kitchen has all the appliances you need to provide for your own meals at home. Karin, the owner, is a darling, she replies immediately to any questions you may have and is always there if you need her. There is no other place I would ever consider staying in Antwerp.

Very nice apartment in a good location. Well designed interior. Nice view of a square were when we were there was a nice auction going on. Appartment was well lit and also had a nice bathroom. There was also a good coffee machine with free coffee included. There was a sound system that could play music from your phone or laptop through Bluetooth and also LP records from a decent collection through a record player.

Holiday apartment rental
The Soul Antwerp is a trendy hotel offering luxury studios in the Zuid area, with contemporary design and all the comforts of home. The apartments feature open kitchens, sitting areas, sleeping areas, and bathrooms with walk-in showers. The hotel overlooks the Neptune sculpture on Marnixplaats and has a convenient location near fashion ModeMuseum. It boasts a score of 9.4 out of 10 for its location according to visitor reviews.
My partner and I loved this place! We had a nice studio on the first floor. The studio was spacious, clean and we enjoyed sitting out on the balcony with a drink. The staff was very nice as well and made us feel welcome upon arrival. There's also plenty of bars and restaurants in the vibrant neighborhood. The value is unmatched and we look forward to returning!
Harley H — Google review
Very bad value for money. Ripped sheets, noisy, doors don’t properly close, curtains don’t properly close, furniture is outdated and some items needs replacement. The neighborhood is great but do yourself a favor and choose another place to stay.

Highly recommend their chai lattes. Egg on the croque madame was cooked perfectly. Also stayed in their apartments and it had a really beautiful view of the monument in the middle as well as a great location in the city. You are able to hear noise from the stairwell and streets but it was not overly loud. Room is really cute but a little rundown (curtain rod needs fixing and the bathroom heater was a little wonky) Overall had a lovely stay :)
Gwyneth W — Google review
Stayed at both the hotel and ate breakfast at the café. The croque madame was delicious and i can highly recommend the Chai Latte. It is a little pricy but so is everything at Marnixplaats. The staff was very nice and helpful too. As for the hotel, it is cozy and the view is beautiful. It could be taken care of better and cleaned better as there was a lot of dust on the lights, some sort of black smears on the curtains, and a broken curtain rod. Other than that the location is great (approx 15 minute walk from the center and lots of beautiful sights all around), and i think the price is adequate.
Leander B — Google review
My wife and I stayed at The Soul in July 2022. The location is very convenient, but extremely noisy until early morning hours. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the coffee was great. However, how this place got classified as a four-star accommodation is beyond me. Being environmentally conscious and using reclaimed furniture is one thing, even "hipster", but furnishing the rooms with a seemingly random collection of worn out and broken items is just cheap in the worst possible way. The kitchenette was taped over with a "zerbrechlich" ("fragile" in German) warning tape. That was probably meant to warn the guests about the state of the kitchen cupboards, and not as a joke. The air conditioning did not do anything to lower the room temperature on a hot summer day. It was just making noise and blowing dust. The studio did not seem very clean. The curtains had visible stains on them, and the balcony and chairs on it looked as if they have not been cleaned and used for years. Come for the coffee, but avoid the apartments. V., Austria

On the plus side: Location location location: absolutely perfect. Light and big room, good bathroom, sofa and large table at the window. Kitchenette with coffee and tea facilities. Really nice staff and fantastic breakfast options. On the bad side:· It was unusually hot for the time of the year, so it was a big problem that the AC wasn't working. We could not sleep because we couldn't leave the windows open due to the activity outside. Please fix the AC, it was the only real bother.
Desiree D — Google review
Lovely studios in a great location. Bob was very welcoming and friendly and helpful. They're in a gorgeous building and are lovely rooms. The rooms could do with a little updating but nothing major. The location is perfect. Would definitely stay again.

The charming Diamonds and Pearls hotel is located in Antwerp Centrum, just a few minutes' walk from the city's main attractions. The property features a terrace and patio, as well as stylish rooms with some boasting balconies or terraces. The staff are welcoming and helpful, making this an ideal choice for boutique travelers who don't require excessive amenities but rather want the feel of old Antwerp.
unacceptable and unprofessional. My train arrived late: I was refused access to the room on the pretext that it was too late for check-in, even though someone at reception answered the phone to tell me not to come. 10:30 pm, a woman alone in the street, without lodgings in a city I don't know. luckily i found another hotel. my reservation was initially for 2 nights; and this morning, what a surprise when I discovered on booking that the hotel had cancelled my second night without warning me ABSOLUTELY AVOID
Calypso L — Google review
Horrible hotel, had to wait in the rain and call for someone to open the door. The room was shit and smelly. The shower did not get warm at all, so skipped that ice bath. Curtains wouldn’t close properly, there were multiple lamps from the outside shining into the room. The door to the terrace wouldn’t close properly, anyone could get in using the emergency stairs. Was a shitty and noisy experience. Haven’t slept this bad in a hotel ever. Skip, avoid and run away to a decent hotel.
Nando K — Google review
genuinely awful, the room was rinky dink completely falling apart, the sheets had rips and holes in them and so did the carpet, the doors to the restroom had huge cracks and gaps in them and it was dirty and grimy and the water pressure in the shower was so weak that it barely worked, the chair was broken and snapped. on the last day we discovered bed bugs because i woke up covered in bite marks. do not go to this hotel it’s not worth it

During our search on booking we got mesmerised by the DAP hotel. The classical charm and the A+ location made us feel like we made a good deal. We didn’t overpay but it wasn’t the cheapest place around either. Sadly upon arrival we were greeted with.. well in fact we were not greeted at all since the place seems to be run like an AirBnB, with lockers and self service. This isn’t a bad thing by itself, but considering the cheaper options we had skipped by choosing a hotel in the first place made us question our choice. The reception is stunning and exactly as hoped from the pictures online. The room sadly wasn’t. The style was there but the myriad of tiny issues really soured the overall impression we had. Everything is old, thin and sadly appears dirty. It smelled of chlorine so we didn’t feel dirty but some places had the dirt and mold cooked in that no amount of chemicals could scrub it out. The walls are also thin so you can hear everything outside as well as the stairway. We had a few glasses in so we didn’t notice too much. The good parts: The hairdryer was strong, the room was well equipped, the indirect lighting was beautiful and the styling was generally done very tastefully. Beds and towels were tidy. The location was also amazing. The streets nearby have gorgeous places to eat and drink! Shoutout to Café Barries! All in all it’s hard to recommend but if you end up there and set your expectations, you’ll be fine.
Paul L — Google review
Terrible hotel. You can tell this was once a good hotel but the rooms have not been well maintained and as the staff don’t work onsite they treat guests like an inconvenience. We waited outside for over an hour as none of the numbers listed on Booking.com, Google or their sign worked and the staff to not work at the hotel to check you in. The rooms are very delapidated, the carpet’s disgusting and torn, the bathroom mouldy and the paint peeling. The communal areas are well maintained including reception, breakfast area and courtyard.

Terrible Service, Terrible Hotel, it's not even a hotel, but a guest house! I was sick after the trip, got into Antwerp directly to this hotel, Service was bad, Hotel smells bad The Manager could not use his credit card machine because of technical problems, I could not pay in cash ( Company Issues), the guy just told me TO GO OUT AND FIND ANOTHER HOTEL because I could not pay by Cash.
Emmanuel T — Google review
Bedbugs in the Rear rooms. Management did not acknowledge despite several requests for a refund or response. We had to leave the very next morning cutting our holiday short at the hotel.
Harvi R — Google review
Didn’t even get to stay at the hotel. I arrived to a locked door, after ringing the call button about 10 times and calling their main number multiple times (each time the line said the number had been disconnected), I decided to not stay. The hotel reached out and asked when I would be checking in. I told them what had happened and to cancel my reservation but I have yet to hear a response back from them about the situation. Don’t stay here.

Lovely hotel, very comfy bed and breakfast was very good. Staff very professional and courteous. Special thanks to Dina who is super kind and helpful, always with a smile. Very clean and inviting, lovely atmosphere. When entering , the lobby also smells very well. Parking is a bit of a search.

Ideal hotel for business trips. Have been there several times already. Big beds and clean rooms. The breakfast is very good. Good connection for public transport, Antwerp bicycle system and roads. Parking is easily accessible.

We traveled as a large group and had 92 rooms reserved, but upon arrival, only 83 rooms were actually available. To make matters worse, my girlfriend and I were forced to share our double room with a third person, even though the room was clearly designed for two guests only. The hotel administration was absolutely helpless – they offered no real solutions and simply shrugged their shoulders. Instead of the staff handling the situation, our group had to figure things out on our own. This level of disorganization and lack of responsibility completely ruined our vacation. Very disappointing experience.

Great staff at the reception, fresh and newly looking hotel. A lot of (paid) parking spaces. Grocery shop in the same building. Good breakfast. Next to a tram stop and short walk to the centre. Great place.
Peter M — Google review
Parking is very hard to find. It's behind the police station. There is the big police entry and the hotel's parking is there on the left, by the ⛔ sign. That sign is confusing because one may think it's forbidden to go over there but actually the entrance is right before the sign. Parking cost 20€. Large bed is made of two joined beds and if you are alone, sleeping in the middle, you can clearly feel the hole which is not nice.

Good hotel but terrible staff at breakfast The hotel is good but at brakfast I had the most rufe receptionist ever ! Before checking out I wanted to have breakfast. I had a carry on suitcase on wheels with my Laptop bag on top. The breakfast room was at 20% capacity at that time. I was told in a very rude tone that I could not enter with my suitcase when I asked why I was told there was no space. When I locker around I could see at least two guests at different tables that had durfte bags with them. When I pointed to those guests the receptionist got even more irate and told me that this was a different siation because these duffel bags did not have wheels !

Great location with awesome public transport connects that take you too and from the centre of Antwerp. The rooms are very average for the rating of this hotel. Our room has a shattered pane of glass on one of the large windows, on a windy day you hear wind howling, spot lights were falling out of their sockets, the two USB A ports next to the bed were broken. The restaurant looks lovely and as normal is insanely overpriced. Highly recommend going to the petrol station next door that has a surprisingly amazing restaurant with a selection of sushi, burgers, pasta, panini and continental breakfast. Infact breakfast for four costs less than the cost of breakfast for one at the Crowne Plaza. The kids loved the food at the petrol station. The gym is decent, if a little small bit the pool is great and changing rooms are neat and tidy. In general this Crowne Plaza is a little tired and needs modernising in the rooms and corridors. The lobby does give a good first impression, which sadly fades a little as you head up to your room. All in all, a decent hotel in a great location. Staff friendly, attentive and kind.
Kaustav B — Google review
The downsides of this hotel: The rooms are supposed to have AC, but really don't. Even though it wasnt bad outside (and we kept the shades closed), it was too hot in the room. They kept the lobby air conditioned though. We were never offered fans, but our friends asked for one and they were told the hotel was out of them. The location was not convenient to the restaurant/shopping areas. The breakfast was ok. The dining cushions are really dirty and need to be replaced. Lastly, the bathroom lighting isn't good. You have to straddle the toilet to use the mirror to put your makeup on. Beds were hard. Pros...having LVP in the rooms instead of carpet was nice.
Amber — Google review
The hotel is in urgent need of a makeover. While it’s spacious, it lacks warmth, attention to detail, and the hospitality expected from a true four-star property. The rooms and common areas showed signs of neglect scratched floors, marked walls, and outdated furniture. It felt empty and uninspired rather than elegant or welcoming. The interior design lacked cohesion, with random, mismatched items that gave no sense of style or identity. The breakfast room was cramped and felt more like a budget family resort than an adult-oriented luxury hotel. The tables were small, and the food selection was disappointing. Cleanliness and maintenance should be prioritized, along with thoughtful touches such as a well-stocked minibar and proper guest amenities. There was no hair dryer, no information booklet, and even basic conveniences were missing. Overall, it did not reflect the standards of a four-star hotel. I would rate it one star until significant renovation and service improvements are made.
Sandy123 — Google review
Absolutely terrible experience at Crowne Plaza Antwerp. I booked and paid in advance through Booking for one night (confirmation number: 5004008537). Upon check-out, the staff claimed there was no record of my payment and charged me again for the same room. Later, they confirmed the Booking payment had indeed been received — but I never got a refund or even an apology. The staff showed complete incompetence, and Riko, who handled the situation, didn’t even say sorry. I lost time, money, and my travel schedule was ruined. This hotel is unprofessional and dishonest. Advice to future guests: if something like this happens, call the police immediately — do not let them take advantage of you.
Y O — Google review
The worst staff and support I have ever encountered anywhere. Such behavior is unacceptable for anyone, let alone a 4-star hotel. My friends and I had numerous items and gifts stolen or simply thrown away, which the hotel denies, and no one is taking responsibility. The final response I received was: "I trust our staff and they wouldn’t do that." — that was the only answer. There were no cameras in the corridors, so it’s impossible to prove anything. Additionally, one month later, the hotel charged me again without any notice, and again, no one is taking responsibility. They are blaming my local bank, with whom I’ve already clarified all the details. This is the most unreliable hotel I’ve ever stayed at. They don’t care about customer feedback — in fact, they don’t care about customers at all.

Lindner Hotel Antwerp - JDV by Hyatt is a stylish and modern 4-star hotel located in the glitzy diamond district, right next to the central station. The hotel offers 173 refined yet simple rooms with views over the city. It is well-equipped for both business and leisure travelers, featuring a business center, conference room, fitness center, sauna, and spa room. The chic but casual lounge and bar are elegantly decorated, offering a comfortable space to unwind.
Review of Hotel Lindner by Hyatt 1. Perfect location — right next to the central train station, yet completely quiet. The area is beautiful and safe, as it’s where the famous Diamond District begins. It takes about 25 minutes to walk to the old town along a lovely street full of shops. 2. The hotel itself is excellent — attentive and friendly staff, a varied and very tasty breakfast. After a long trip, we especially appreciated the sauna, which was a great bonus for rest and recovery. The beds are very comfortable, and we slept wonderfully. 3. Parking is located right next to the hotel — spacious and convenient. The cost is €26 per day. A big plus for us was the availability of charging stations for electric cars. 4. The hotel is dog friendly 🐾 — the extra charge for staying with a dog is €25. ✨ Overall, we had a wonderful stay, felt fully rested and recharged after our trip. Many thanks to the whole team of the hotel!

Great staff. We were welcomed by Eva at the reception. She’s accommodating and friendly and professional. We love eating at their breakfast room. We met Gino Mark and both are amazing. They’re both helpful and professional. All of them always have a ready smile greeting us. They make our stay an enjoyable and comfortable one. This is an excellent hotel other than their amenities but more so with the staff who worked there.

Gem of a hotel, within a few mins of walk from Antwerp Centraal station. Outstanding staff of Julia, Michelle under the able leadership of Peter - General Manager provided complete assistance including local Police to retrieve our bag (with passport & money) from a walk-in customer from the hotel lobby. Their kindness, swiftness and intelligence left awestruck. The hotel has a marvelous breakfast buffet with high quality of meat, fish, vegetables and nuts besides the normal fare. The beds and linen are again of high quality as are the toiletries. Over all it was one of our best experiences!

My friend and I had an astounding dinner in the first floor dining room. The food was well prepared and abundant. We were unexpectedly treated to a lovely appetizer. Igor was attentive to our every need without being intrusive. All in all, I highly recommend having a well prepared and satisfying meal at The Lindner Hotel in Antwerp…. and ask for Igor, he is the best!

My stay here has been very pleasant. My only complaint is the hard metal door stop in the closet that I seem to kick when retrieving clothes from the closet. The breakfast is wonderful. And the staff is even better especially GINO. He is so very warm and kind. If back in Antwerp I will most certainly stay here.

After a long day touring we decided to eat at the Linder hotel. It was a Sunday. Consequently the main restaurant was closed. Meals were served in the lounge area. Igoe and Alelesonder were successful in serving nearly 30 couples single handedly. While service was understandably slow the food was delicious. Compliments to the staff for maintaining composure under difficult conditions.

The Ibis Budget Antwerpen Centraal Station is a modern 2-star hotel located just 1 km from Antwerp-Central railway and 2.2 km from the Cathedral of Lady. It offers optional breakfast, electric car charging, and an airport shuttle for guests' convenience. Business travelers can request access to computers, a photocopy machine, and a work desk.
I stayed for a few days during a holiday. The room was as expected: clean, comfortable and left nothing to be desired. Right by the station so very convenient. The staff were really friendly, kind and nice to talk to - they made me feel welcome. There is construction taking place nextdoor (in the day as per Nov 2025) which wasn't an issue for me but just to be aware. Thanks Ibis!

The hotel is conveniently located at the back of the main train station. The rooms are small but adequate. However the rooms have no air conditioning and are extremely hot if you come in Summer making it almost impossible to sleep. There is no facilities in the room to make a hot drink however there is a machine in the lobby but it costs money and you can't use your card which is a shame, it really should be free. I think it's a lovely hotel and a great concept but it just could be that little bit better for customer comfort.

1- If you're looking for a nightmare, you can choose this hotel. 2- Our family stayed in room 704. This is my review of my experience. 3- The rooms stink. It's a complete disaster. 4- There's no air conditioning in the rooms. You can't sleep because of the heat and sweat. 5- The room ventilation is very poor. They've locked the windows so they can't be opened. The gap there doesn't provide adequate ventilation. 6- The bath towels don't cover your entire body. 7- There might not be soap in the bathroom; don't forget to bring one. Ours was used, but it wasn't replaced. 8- The rooms aren't regularly checked and ventilated. This prevents you from having a comfortable and restful night. 9- It's the 21st century. Air conditioning in rooms isn't a luxury anymore. Having a proper ventilation system isn't a luxury. I didn't experience this problem in my previous stay. The day before, I stayed at the ibis Styles Almera, owned by the same company, and it was wonderful. 10- We tossed and turned until morning because of the heat. If you have a portable air conditioner, bring it with you.

Perfect location right down the street from central station, all the great bars and in proximity to a lovely park. Very simple room but totally fine if you're here for a night or two. Service speaks perfect English and was prompt and professional. If you're on a budget this is the place!

Simply the worst hotel experience we've ever had. Our room smelled like a sushi restaurant dumpster on a hot day, absolutely unbearable. There was no proper ventilation, and the windows barely opened. We immediately reported the issue to the receptionist, who offered us another room… which was exactly the same. Unfit and completely different from what was advertised, we refused to stay. When we asked for a refund, the receptionist told us to contact the manager. We did — and the manager outright refused to refund us. Poor facilities, zero accountability, and no respect for guests. Avoid this place at all costs.

Great location, only get if you are on tight budget, Rooms are crammed.toilets are very small and can't fit a person of average stature, no privacy if you are travelling with few people. My room had a mirror in front of shower.no hangers in shower as there is literally no place for them. Beds are uncomfortable and come in bunk style. No lockers are available in rooms .no kettle or fridge provided.

Cheap, but that’s the only good thing. I and my friends realized that we should have raised the budget for the hotel. We know it’s cheap but we could spend more. At hotel, No soundproof, no hair dryer, no ventilation. I do not know why they put transparent hole on the shower room door. You should show your naked body to your friends if you take a shower there.

Austrian Prison Vibes — But With Worse Food If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to spend a night in an Austrian prison, skip the crime and book a room here instead. The décor screams “don’t get too comfortable”, the shower is a size of as fridge , and the beds… well, let’s just say “firm” doesn’t quite cover it. The food? Imagine someone googled “meal” and then gave up halfway through. 🍽️ Oh, and do yourself a favor — lift the mattress cover. You might find a few mysterious artifacts from previous guests. A true archaeological experience! Five stars for educational value, zero for comfort. if you hungry just get a sandwich from next door Lidl

Good location, close to main shopping street, walkable from Centraal Station. Plenty of bars and eateries around the adjoining square and surrounds. Less than 5 minutes from tram and bus stops. Very close to the city park. Good first impressions, modern roomy reception area signage and decor and it always smelt nice on entry. East swift check-in. Rooms a bit on the small side, especially the bathrooms. All facilities good especially efficient shower, rooms and hotel throughout very clean, with regular ample towel supplies. Corridor and door banging not ideal at times but virtually no traffic/outside noise at all. All staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast, good quality and range. Several types of bread, rolls and cheeses for instance. Comfortable dining area as was the lounge area. Would certainly be happy to stay again.

We stayed in this hotel for one night to go to a concert. It’s located in the city centre at walking distance from all the shops. Metro and tram are also very close. Our room was tiny, but clean and comfortable. If I really have to find something negative, the AC was a bit noisy. Breakfast was very good with a lot choice.

The room was decent size for me, the entrance was small, as the bed located right next to the door. They don’t provide any amenities except soap and all in one shampoo, no slippers, no fridge, no kettle or tea coffee. You’ll need to purchase those items it seems. But I just went to front, ask for kettle. Compare to the price I paid, I should have those coffee included as well very inconvenient not to have any small fridge. I just want to keep the smoothie for morning, but unable to do. The room you can here next room door was quite heavy and made big noise when someone leave the room, especially morning. The location was in middle, and everything was walking distance 15 mins, I did really like the part. But I’ll maybe check other hotels next time.

Great hotel for a short stay in Antwerp. The location of this Ibis is great and allowed us to really profit from our short get away. Kudos to the staff, very friendly and helpful!

Perhaps the smallest hotel room I have ever encountered, with a tiny bathroom too. I could hear everything from my neighbours through the walls all night, including snoring and shouting and laughing. When I arrived my sheets and pillows smelt damp however once they had been changed it was ok. Terrible breakfast selection- just toast, cereals and some cold meats and cheeses. Hot food was eggs and pork products. AC too noisy to have on to sleep with. Room was extremely basic, not even a kettle to have a hot drink. Given 2 rather than 1 star as asides from the smelly sheets, was generally clean.

Tulip Inn Antwerpen is a renovated 3-star hotel located in the old part of Antwerp, offering comfortable and value-for-money accommodations. Situated near ZOO Antwerpen and a short distance from Stadpark and Museum Plantin-Moretus, this modern hotel provides a calm environment for both corporate travelers and holidaymakers. With 126 cozy rooms, a beer bar, and a modern restaurant, it's an ideal choice for a relaxing city break.
I stayed here for a tennis tournament and really enjoyed the convenience. The location is great—only 4–5 km from the city center, and just about 1 km from the train station with easy access to both Brussels Airport and the city. We rented a scooter to get around, which was so much fun. The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was decent. Overall, a very good stay.

Stayed in a hotel multiple times throughout many years. It’s not the newest hotel and not much changed since my first visit. Rooms were mostly fine, some of them sometimes had some stains and similar flaws but nothing horrible. It’s true that the walls are thin and you can hear a lot and also one side is directly towards busy road so that can be quite noisy too. But overall I’d come back with no problem as the location works for me.

Lovely location friendly staff. The rooms and carpets need some TLC but they are adequate for a weekend stop over. Would recommend if you just want a base and easy to tram into the centre. We used the app this year so we could get the closest tram stop rather than going over the bridge to buy tickets. Parking on site no extra charge. Would stay again.

Stayed there 2 nights. Hotel only a short bus ride from city center of Antwerp and free parking. Receptionists was very nice and service minded. The man in the bar was also very service minded and humble. I think grumpy German hotel receptionist have a lot to learn from Belgians. Its nice to be nice .

We had to stay here as a part of group booking. There was no family room available so we had to be split into two double rooms. Our room smelled awful. I complained & apparently the cleaning lady was aware of it. She said when it rains this smell comes up from down somewhere & there is nothing she can do about it. They can't change the room as it was completely booked. I had to keep the window open to get some fresh air to avoid stink & then it was extremely noisy from the motorway nearby. If the maintenance team knew about the smell why they gave us the room, wishing that it would not rain or what? The buffet breakfast was not great either. The single beds had wheels below which understandably makes it easier to move around & clean but as soon as you lean your back on the wall the beds slides forward. It was not a cheap accommodation. Cost us €110/night for a double room. I wouldn't revisit definitely.

As Tulip Inn is part of large hospitality group, the standard is meticulous. Our room was clean and thorough. The bed was soft, linen was clean, the towels and pillow are also clean and bouncy. Finding parking in the area is very practical as it has a lot of free parking spots around the building. The staff were efficient and spoke English very well. They give only 1 room key card and the standard for verification is secure as well. They require the passport from the one who booked the accomodations. Inside the room, they designed it to maximise space. I liked that they have plenty of power socket to charge your devices. They provided hot water jar with teas and coffees only. In the bathroom, I really liked the shower as it had stable pressure, hot water running smoothly, and it has hair dryer as well. There are no bathroom amenities in the room. Also, there is no aircon in the room, but I've stayed on spring to early summer time, so the weather is still quite chilly and enough for the room.
Vivi A — Google review
I stayed at Tulip Inn Antwerpen from 24–26 September and was thoroughly disappointed. The room was far below acceptable standards: stained duvets, dirty curtains, and even visible cobwebs in corners. It was clear that cleanliness was not a priority. Although the staff did replace the duvets upon request, the overall condition of the room left a lingering sense of neglect and discomfort. The atmosphere felt unhygienic, and the lack of attention to basic upkeep made it one of the most unpleasant hotel stays I’ve had in years. In addition to these cleanliness issues, the basic amenities were not properly provided. The shower gel dispenser had not been refilled, and the tissue box was completely empty. I also requested an iron with an ironing board, but was only offered an iron. When I asked about the ironing board, I was advised to create a makeshift ironing space somewhere in the room, which I found both impractical and inappropriate. Given this experience, I won’t be returning—and I’ll be avoiding any establishment operated by this company. If you're considering booking here, I strongly recommend reading recent reviews and weighing your options carefully.

The Holiday Inn Express Antwerp City - North is a comfortable and affordable hotel in the city center with friendly and welcoming staff. The rooms are clean, but a bit dated looking, with complimentary Wi-Fi and breakfast consisting of Continental fare.
The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable. Service was friendly And breakfast buffet was more than decent! You can also make your own waffle if that's something you enjoy eating in the morning 👍👍 Fyi: our room had a view on the noisy boulevard, so if you're a light sleeper, maybe ask the reception to be located in the quiet side.

Nice hotel in a good location for the Waagnatie event venue and walkable around Antwerp. The room is in good condition (maybe recently refurbished) but there is not enough storage to be able to unpack properly, needs more shelving or some drawers. There feels like there is wasted space that could have been extra storage. Breakfast is nice, with make your own waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon and continental meats and cheeses.
Jon M — Google review
It has a good location. Close to the center and the tram station. The room was spacious and nice. The breakfast was enough. The only problem was that the duvet and towels were not clean enough. For example, a chewing gum was stuck to the duvet and they changed it the next day and the towel was torn.

LOVE THIS BRAND FOR ITS CONSISTENCY I booked this hotel using points from IHG which was just the cherry on top! I always stay with this brand all over the world, if it’s available. You know the beds are going to be great and the included breakfast is a delicious insight into the local culture. The location was great and it’s a short walk to the historic port and vibrant social life. Well served by public transport, I took the tram from Antwerp Central Station and just walked across the road from the stop. The receptionist was welcoming and I was in my room in no time. The room faced the main street and was soundproofed. It was spacious and had a sofa (which I used as a luggage rack) coffee table/work desk, kettle with tea & coffee, iron and board, hairdryer, open wardrobe and TV. Unusually, there was no fridge. The bed was as expected and I slept well all four nights. The washroom was efficient and I love how the main door becomes the toilet door when swung inwards. The shower was good and the towels adequate. I received points each night I declined cleaning which was a nice, eco-friendly touch. Plus I received a welcome gift of points or a drink/snack from the lobby shop. The breakfast was varied and copious with hot and cold options including a waffle station. Very happy I stayed here on my first visit to Antwerp.

The bright rooms feature contemporary amenities like free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs, providing a comfortable retreat for budget-conscious travelers. Conveniently located near the Central Train Station, it boasts top-of-the-line technology and friendly staff.
I enjoyed my stay: it's clean, quiet, in an excellent location and the employees are friendly and helpful. Yes, the bathroom situation is not ideal if you travel with your family or partner and want some privacy. I didn't have that problem. Would happily return!
Julie B — Google review
I previously stayed at this hotel a year and a half ago, and if I'd reviewed it then, I would've given it 5 stars. Now, I can't say the same. The one thing you want from a hotel is a good night's sleep, and we did not get a single good night's sleep. Every night we heard lots of loud bangs that woke us up from our sleep, which weren't just noisy, they vibrated the whole room! At first we presumed it was someone above dropping something. Then, on the final night my husband heard some other sounds which at first he thought was loud music, and that's when he discovered the gym below, with a man running violently on the treadmill. He asked the front desk if they could sort it, and then we went to bed to sleep (22:30). 23:30 rolled around, and we heard louder noises from below, with even more vibrations. He investigated and it was someone throwing weights around in the gym below. He did complain to the reception, but the noise continued (at that point he didn't see the point in complaining, as the staff member didn't seem very helpful). We didn't end up getting to sleep until after 00:30 as a result. Then, right on cue at 06:55, more loud bangs to wake us up. So we can't even sleep in to make up for it! This was in addition to a lot of noise in the hallway of our floor, with people chatting late at night as they came back to their rooms, and the constant sound of doors opening and closing. I've been in hotels where the doors aren't that soundproof, but this one was quite bad. I think previously we didn't have an issue as we were not located right next to the lifts/stairs (before I needed to use a wheelchair). There were also other noises, which may or may not have been the gym, or the rooms surrounding us, we are unsure. What this has all meant is we've had a very bad holiday. We have had no energy at all to do the things we wanted to do, and ended up having to rest a lot during the day instead (as no one was in the gym then!!). This meant we did not get to do many things we wanted to do. Additionally, I have a neuro immune condition that is worsened by lack of sleep, and this has flared up significantly due to this stay, and will take me weeks to recover from. It's frustrating because I'm happy with everything else, just not the noise. There's no signs in the gym telling people to not throw weights around, or to be considerate of people sleeping. Why is there a room directly above the gym? Make it a storage room, or get better sound proofing. Or make it so the gym is only open between 8:00 - 22:00, so that guests are not kept up late at night. Sadly we couldn't pass on this review in person, as we had to wait over 20 minutes for a lift with enough space for me to fit in with my wheelchair (as every other was packed with people), and we needed to quickly check out as we had to catch our train back to Brussels. The lift situation was generally fine, until it came to leaving at 9 when everyone else wanted to use the lift and due to our location on the 1st floor every time one came to us it was full of people from the upper floors.

It was our first trip to Belgium and we loved our stay at A-STAY. We had an overnight flight and got to the hotel early but, the staff was so accommodating, saw we were tired and got us into our room early. I did not realize I had to reserve parking and the lot was full but, the staff directed us to Q-Park, across the street and we were able to access it for the 5 days we were there. The beds are comfortable, even the pull out that my 22 yr old son slept on. Everything was clean and well kept, nice esthetic with inviting, cozy, common areas to spend time in. Great location to the center of town too.

Super nice hotel!. It has the sphere and ambiance of a sort of hostel, which was very cute. The service was good: we asked for more pillows and we got some extra ones immediately. The hotel is literally next to Antwerp Central Station, and in a 5 minute walk you are in the shopping street. The bed was nice and the rooms very new, up to date, clean and cosy. We didn't choose for the breakfast but it smelled very good every morning. The hotel is very sustainable, which is a very innovative choice. We definitely would go back and recommend A-stay to others!

We had a perfect stay. Room is nice. Due to the different settings of the light great atmosphere. A little coffee-corner woukld be a plus. A great location to explore (also walking) the city. Staff very friendly.
Cor B — Google review
It is kind of a self-service hotel, fitting with the times that we live in with less human contact. Want a beer or coffee? Self service machines are available and happy to accept your creditcard. The concept gets to be problematic though when hotel staff is not answering the phone and when the hotel is not willing to help me out in an annoying situation. 49 out of 50 times, going to a hotel is about checking in and out. But every now and then you require a hotel to step up and help. In my case, I couldn’t go back to the hotel due to sickness (Covid), was hours away (The Netherlands) and had a small suitcase with a few things left in the room. I asked A-Stay to send my belongings to me by post. Instead I got a referral to a courier service. Unfortunately A-Stay failed this test, but I imagine it is coherent with a the self-service philosophy. Not to say that the staff wasn’t friendly, but sometimes you expect more than just a friendly check in and check out. This might be their policy, but it is something I disagree with. The hotel room was nice, good lighting, good beds. Pity that the room was very hot and the aircon didn’t work. The breakfast was alright but also lacking good vegan options. All in all, a nice looking hotel, friendly staff, but not a good experience.
Rob B — Google review
The rooms are very modern. The lighting system is a bit tricky to use but funny. This hotel seems to be designed for young backpackers, which we liked. However, the noise between the bathroom and the room could be better insulated, as the door system isn’t very soundproof. Also, it’s not possible to turn on the light only in the bathroom. Overall, though, it was a nice experience.
Jerome A — Google review
Not impressed, not even from the beginning: the receptionist couldn’t find us in the system and said that they don’t work together with the service we ordered through. We pre paid our stay. The receptionist offered no help, just said that we should call the service ourselves to figure it out, there was not even a phone number to call. When she finally spelled our name correct, she found out that we actually were in the system. Maybe it could have saved some time if she had asked how to spell our name to begin with, we got nervous that we might have been scammed. All in all, not a very friendly beginning of our stay. Three elevators to 190 rooms on 12 floors - obviously a lot of waiting time by the elevators. At first glance, the room looked nice. Noticed a stain on the headboard, looked like some kind of bodily fluid, decided to ignore it and not touch it. The headboard and chair in the room was made of a fabric like wool, quite unsanitary to use that in a hotel, it’s not possible to clean it properly. Interesting with the light system in the room, you get to pick between 40 different colours or so - maybe they could have spent that money on bedside tables instead. Very small shower and toilet, that are part of the room and not in a desperate bathroom, divided by frosted glass from the bed, not much privacy there if you want that. Breakfast buffet was an absolute circus, very small buffet and two coffee machines of which one was out of order, for many people, again, the hotel has 190 rooms according to their website. A sign in the beginning of the buffet said to provide room number, but no one checked, anyone could have come from the street to eat there (and it looked like that was the case). Took forever to even get our breakfast due to the obviously long queue. Food was average. On our last day, my partner slept with their arm touching the headboard resulting in an arm smelling like literally unspeakable bodily fluids. I don’t even want to think about what happened there. After that, we checked the mattress, there was no protection under the sheet, so there was old yellow stains and a lot of hairs that definitely wasn’t ours. Would not recommend this hotel for obvious reasons. You could almost suspect that the good reviews is not from real hotel guests, it’s hard to imagine that anyone would give this five stars. Only positive thing to say is that it was a nice location close to the central station.

Located in the harbor district just 5 km from Antwerp's city center, ibis budget Antwerpen Port offers unpretentious budget lodging with compact rooms. The hotel provides complimentary Wi-Fi and parking, as well as a 24-hour reception and concierge service. Situated near popular attractions like the Sportpaleis and Kinepolis, it serves as a convenient base for exploring the MAS museum and enjoying the vibrant nightlife and restaurants in the area.
The room was tiny but have enough room to have shower… but just annoying the shower can’t adjust the angle and the door has a hole who let the water come out and make the floor wet… Clean, quiet comfortable bed… also very good breakfast, it might be good to have some hot food instead. Oh yes they got the microwave, which is highlight! The location is a little far from the centre but have free parking which is good. Overall it is a quiet good value budget hotel.. especially if you drive by yourself or even on a bike trip. Definitely would stay here again! Thank you and see you in the future!

Location was ok, having parking in the hotel is great and saves from a 1 star. Room was fairly clean, but had a gigantic issue: it becomes hot as hell. No AC provided, only air circulation. Window does not open and has no mosquito net. Moreover, during the night there are people partying at the pool of Novotel (right on the side). Eventually you either accept noise and mosquitoes, but a bit less hot at night, or you die of heat. Probably in winter or mid season is ok, but avoid this hotel in summer!

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable although it is easy to bang your head on the bunk. The sink did not drain well. The one switch for lighting meant it was very bright or no light in the shower.

The De Keyser Hotel is a 4-star adults-only hotel located in the old part of Antwerp, close to ZOO Antwerpen and the Diamond District. It offers a bar, meeting space, and breakfast for guests. The hotel features 123 air-conditioned rooms with standard amenities. Despite its dated appearance, the rooms are neat and spacious with quality customer service at the front office.
I stayed for 2 days at the Keyser Hotel in Antwerp (July 2025) and I absolutely loved it. The room was very spacious, the bathroom equally large, and everything was spotless. Although my room faced the main street, I didn’t hear any noise from outside. The view was fabulous, overlooking Antwerp’s main station, just a few meters away. The bed was extremely comfortable, the room had two TVs, and there was a newly installed air conditioning system. The location couldn’t be better—perfectly connected to buses and trains—so I could enjoy the best of Antwerp and still return quickly to the hotel. The staff were wonderful: friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also excellent, with a superb variety of options. The hotel is LGBTQ-friendly, which I truly appreciate. I will definitely come back to the Keyser Hotel in the future and recommend it to everyone. I personally prefer the old classic, spacious style of hotels compared to the compact ones from boring chains. The Keyser is a real charm!

Steps from central train station, walkable to center. Superb value. Lovely woman at front desk by day (contrary to what some other reviewers experienced). Strong hot shower. Two fast lifts. Strong wifi. Quiet inside despite high street location. Plentiful cafes, beer, and shopping, and the eye, right outside.

This will be a lengthy review sadly. We stayed the night as we unfortunately missed our last train back home. The location is super convenient, however this has to be the worst night at a hotel I’ve ever had for the price you have to pay and for a 4 star hotel.. I am thankful the front staff could provide us a room at short notice however everything else wasn’t up to par. Firstly the ac doesn’t work and seeing other reviews, shows it’s a common occurrence. It was like a sauna in the room, making it difficult to sleep, due to this heat, there were many mosquitos despite the cold rainy weather outside. Unable to control the ac to at least cool down and keep the mosquitos away, I was woken up to two horrible bites on my face as well as my body, same as my partner. Something that I think the hotel can prevent if the ac works not to attract mosquitos to a hot environment. Making it a breeding ground for them. Secondly the walls are paper thin and you can hear other guests, throughout the night somewhere above us there was what sounded like construction noises. Loud banging sounds. The morning was the same, doors slamming and people laughing. Unsure if it was staff or other guests but it was far too loud for 5-6am in the morning. Due to it being so hot, waking up from the heat and mosquitos, we needed water, I wasn’t able to buy a bottle of water at the hotel. There was no mini fridge inside our room, nor was there any sort of vending machine in the hotel. Which is crazy for a 4 star hotel. Due to this, with the instructions of the front desk, I went out to the off licence at 6am in the morning in the rain, only to find it closed. I feel the front desk should be better equipped with the local timings of the surrounding area to avoid this, it really further agitated me after having such a horrible sleepless night. I went to the hotel across; Leonardo hotel to buy water at their front desk. The environment there was a lot more welcoming and I had really regretted not having gone to them instead in the first place. This place doesn’t mirror what a 4 star hotel should be. If you want the basic necessity of a good nights rest, spend your money elsewhere!

Definitely will come again!

Personally I’m not sure why there are so many low rated stars. Yes, the rooms could be a lot cleaner. But overall the hotel has a unique and very old fashioned feel to it. Location is super! Stephanie at reception was so lovely and welcoming so I’m giving service 5/5 stars. Don’t be put off by the bad reviews…
Holly N — Google review
**Terrible Hotel with Unbearable Air-Con "Policy" – Avoid at All Costs!** I recently stayed at this hotel, and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had—all because of their ridiculous air-conditioning situation. First, the air-conditioning switch is controlled **at the lobby**, not in the rooms. That means guests have **no control** over their own comfort. But the real nightmare begins at night when the staff **repeatedly turn off the AC** to "save electricity." Multiple times, I woke up sweating because the room turned into a sauna. Each time I went down to complain, the staff acted like there was some "technical issue" and reluctantly turned it back on—only for the same thing to happen again later. When other guests complained, they were dismissively told to **"just open the window"** instead of actually fixing the problem. This isn’t just poor service—it’s **deliberate false advertising**. If a hotel can’t provide basic amenities like functioning air-conditioning, they shouldn’t operate at all. The staff clearly know what they’re doing but choose to inconvenience guests to cut costs. **Zero stars.** Save yourself the frustration and book somewhere else. This place is a joke.
Carolyn H — Google review
I'm just leaving this hotel right now and if this is a four star hotel that can only because it's based out of 20 stars. The rooms are small the bed is uncomfortable and I've had noise going on including what sounds like people emptying their bathtub and going past my drain throughout the night and into the morning as well as other strange noises that I can't even figure out where they're coming from. I would rate this place somewhere between two and maybe two and a half star

I received a voucher for this lovely hotel as a gift a while ago. Unfortunately, due to personal reasons I wasn’t able to use it. When I had the oppotunity to finally go to Antwerp the voucher had expired. But the HotelO Katedral was super nice and accepted it nonetheless. Our stay was wonderful, the hotel is in a unique spot you can use as a central hub to explore the city. The staff was absolutely nice and very helpful at all times. The ambience of the room was as beautiful as the impressions on the website suggests. And to our surprise it was very calm although the hotel is located in a very lively area.

How many nice things can I comment on? The bathtub! You can laugh, but after weeks in Europe without one, I took not one, but two baths in my one night stay. The body products were lovely as well. After arriving from a tough travel day, a coffee and chocolates in the room were a good pick me up as the cathedral bells tolled. Helpful staff arranged a taxi at the door for my departure. With a wi-fi snag upon arrival, finding the hotel had been a bit tricky, so I advise a Google screenshot in advance. Definitely plan on their breakfast buffet! All-in-all, the owners are doing everything they can to provide a comfortable and welcoming visit from lovely lobby music to gracious staff. You will be happy you stayed here!

I would highly recommend this hotel! They have a nice cafe inside with so many dessert choices including chocolates. My room was very nice and was exactly what I needed. The location cannot be beat, and it is very close to the large cathedral. Many shops and restaurants nearby as well as being close to a train station for transit.

Our favourite hotel we have stayed in this year! Everything was as described. Really great pricing for what we experienced. Central location and lovely staff!
Chantelle H — Google review
Room was well designed and clean and the bathtub was a nice touch but it was super loud all night from the street below and the cleaning cart/lift and neighbours could all be heard very clearly - even with the addition of ear plugs. Fine for people who are deep sleepers and value location

Nestled in the vibrant Antwerp district, the Antwerp Harbour Hotel offers a cozy retreat for travelers seeking both comfort and convenience. This charming hotel features a TV lounge where guests can unwind, along with complimentary breakfast, parking, and Wi-Fi to enhance your stay. Just a short drive away from notable attractions like the MAS Museum and het Red Star Line Museum, it’s an ideal base for exploring the city.
Clean and good value for the price. Personnel very kind and welcoming. Located in not the fanciest place in Antwerp, but if you have a car and you need a quite and close spot not far from the city center this is a good choice. Good international breakfast.
Lorenzo — Google review
Nice hotel, little bit noisy but that is normal in a big city. Breakfast was sufficient and the beds were okay. Rooms are clean and the price is decent. Overall a decent stay.
Njl D — Google review
Value for money. Nice but basic hotel with nice, clean hotel rooms and good bedding. Friendly staff. One star deduction: 1)the bathrooms could use an update 2) wifi is very very slow 3) breakfast is adequate, but suffers in quality due to "unloved" preparation. (Pale, hardly baked breads, sausages, tasteless egg, etc.). But, in the end, this hotel is an absolute winner in value for money. We had a nice stay.
Chris B — Google review
✅Pros: - Great location, close to public transport - Quiet at night, good for resting - Effective air conditioning - Comfortable bed - Very friendly staff - Breakfast buffet was varied ❌Cons - Really overpriced for what it is, especially for just one night - Breakfast quality was average despite the variety - Trash bin hadn't been emptied when I arrived - Found air in the sink - Duvet was too small for the single bed, barely covered me during sleep Fine for a short stay if you need something quiet and convenient, but definitely not great value for the price
Ananas L — Google review
The purpose of my stay at Antwerp Harbour Hotel was business. I left the hotel in the morning, after breakfast, and arrived late at night for a shower and sleep. Rooms are being cleaned every day, but the service quality could be better. Definitely, the bathroom was not the most higenyc and I couldn't trust the towels either. The breakfast: typical English, with mushrooms, tomatoes, scrambled eggs, bacon and cold cuts. A nice variety of pastry and fruit. The coffee machine though did not see a proper descaling in a very long time... Overall, if you don't have too many demands, for a working hotel is not that bad...

Nice and clean room, good bathroom and shower. Good beds, everything basic and proper. Good international and English breakfast included and friendly service. Good connection to the city centre with tram stop in front of the hotel and free parking.
Isabeau G — Google review
For the price you pay, it’s ok. Nothing special. Parking is free outside, only one lift, our room had no shampoo, room was ok size, nice AC in room, it’s near some supermarkets. Breakfast is ok, nothing special

Simple hotel for basic needs, but very good service. Everything is clean and well maintained. OK to stay over a night or two.

Wellness hotel
The Hyllit Hotel in Antwerp is a luxurious 4-star hotel located in the heart of the city, near the prestigious Diamond District. Situated along the popular shopping avenue De Keyserlei, this elegant hotel offers contemporary rooms and suites with amenities such as WiFi, luggage storage, and a Mediterranean restaurant. Guests can enjoy additional touches of luxury including an indoor pool and sauna. The hotel's convenient location also provides easy access to attractions like Chocolate Nation and ZOO Antwerpen.
I recently spent nearly a month at Hyllit Hotel in Antwerp for my courses, and it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt at home. The hotel’s location is perfect close to the station, Diamond Square, and surrounded by bars and restaurants, yet it remains calm and peaceful. Before arriving, I emailed requesting a quiet, heated room with a terrace, and they delivered exactly that, even providing extra heaters just in case. Their attentiveness to guests' needs is unmatched. For the nightly rate, I truly believe there’s no better hotel in Antwerp. The amenities, including the sauna, gym, and swimming pool, add incredible value. While there’s a small charge for access, it’s completely reasonable given the affordable room rates. The cozy bar and cigar lounge were a highlight, and Kunga, the bartender, was incredibly professional and attentive; he even remembered my favorite drink and limits! Anastasia and the entire team were kind, professional, and made me feel like a valued guest. Hyllit Hotel has become my home in Antwerp, and I already miss it dearly. Congratulations for assembling such an amazing team. I highly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to return. Thank you for the unforgettable stay! Wiem

We got a very beautiful and spacious room — everything was clean, and the place smelled fresh throughout. It definitely felt comfortable and well-maintained. That said, the staff wasn’t very welcoming. The girl at the reception gave off a cold, unapproachable vibe, and overall service didn’t feel warm or guest-oriented. There was no room service, and when we asked for a dental kit, they told us to come get it ourselves. When we kindly asked if someone could bring it, they seemed annoyed. Also, even though the hotel seems to have a sauna, there were no bathrobes or slippers in the room — which was surprising and a bit inconvenient. Still, the room itself made up for a lot. It was lovely and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay :)
Лариса К — Google review
I do not recommend this place. Room service is non-existent, and if you have any issues with your room, no one will help you. Two examples: The shower had no water pressure, clearly clogged with limescale. When I asked for assistance, they said a technician had checked it and there was “no problem,” offering no solution. I requested help with the TV Chromecast. They initially said it wasn’t in my room. When I insisted that it was, they replied, “Good luck, now no one can help you.” One expects more from a 4-star hotel — at least some cordial, attentive service and a little empathy for guests coming to Antwerp for work who need minimal comfort. P.S.: The pool is not included and costs €7 per use — a total rip-off. And the “included” breakfast? Better save your money and eat out. This hotel is not worth it.
Cristobal M — Google review
It’s very clean and very close to the station. Decor is bad/ tacky, especially in the breakfast room. Breakfast is standard, nothing special. Staff polite but simply aren’t that bothered - doesn’t have a welcoming cool feel, like other hotels in the city. It’s a basic place to stay but it’s overpriced/ very expensive for what it is. We stayed somewhere way nicer the next night for much less money.
Maximilian R — Google review
We stayed here a few weeks ago and made a mistake with the booking. However the front desk lady Sarah was so amazing, helpful and super friendly. She helped sort out the issue for us and made our stay perfect. Would definitely recommend this hotel and come back and stay next time I’m in Antwerp.
Alan O — Google review
Location good, parking option. Rooms not bad, although cleaning shall be improved. Breakfast 25 eur! Crazy expensive. Unless it is caviar and live-cooking I would not pay. Going from parking to the room i a tricky, you need 3 elevators. Be prepared ;)

Nice hotel but restaurant and swimming pool closed in August. Staff to be more professional and pleasant with customers.

First room stunk of cigarettes, second room the AC was broken. The beds are ancient and everything feels dated. For $350/night - this was def not worth it.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Antwerp, the Park Inn by Radisson Antwerp City Centre is a modern hotel that offers a comfortable and convenient stay. With its contemporary rooms and suites, guests can enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi while being just steps away from attractions like the renowned ZOO Antwerpen and the bustling Diamond District. This eco-friendly property is ideally located near Central Station, making it perfect for travelers looking to explore the city without breaking the bank.
good hotel with clean rooms for 1 or 2 nights, reception, breakfast and pool is in the other building but thats just 1min walking so not a problem. location is good nearby good restaurants and public transport.
Philippe L — Google review
Great location. People at reception are very friendly and helpful, however, there are obviously too few of them. Each time I was at reception I had to wait at least 5 minutes in a queue, and it was different time of the day. The hotel has a few amenities, like gym. The room was ok, except for really dirty windows and staggering water in the shower. I said about the water at reception as I was checking out and they seem to be arranging it right away.
Irina I — Google review
We booked 2 nights in a junior suite at the Park Inn. The room we were assigned was not like the photos on their website. It was on the 6th floor with only a small terrace unlike the 2 on the top floor. There was maintenance issues: both Tvs didn't work properly, the air-conditioning was faulty and a child's bed we didn't ask for was obstructing the wardrobe.Of course we reported this to the reception located in the Radisson Blu across the road and they sent someone over but some of issues couldn't be resolved so they kindly gave us a nice room at the Radisson Blu. Be aware if you book the Park Inn it is not a full service hotel. No reception, no bar or restaurant and it seems to be neglected. The Radisson Blu on the other hand was excellent.
Lisa H — Google review
This hotel use to be good when they had a reception, and even breakfast use to be served at the hotel. But not anymore. You have to walk on the other side of the street to check in and walk back here and if anything goes wrong again you have to go back to the radisson across the street. Breakfast is even not served in the same building!!! So if you have taken a long flight not the ideal place, or even have suitcases!!! No water bottle in the room! No coffee or even tea bags!! And on top of everything a disgusting used razor found in the room next to the bed! On and The tissue roll in the bathroom looks very old and has yellow spots on it.
Shrzd — Google review
Don’t go here! The rooms have a very old, long gone interior and are very dirty. Take a look. At the pictures I made and they will speak for them selves. Next to that I had to wait one hour in line to check in and 1 of the 2 elevators were broken. The rooms get really hot because the sun shines directly on the city side of the building. The view isn’t great either, you look at a square full of bums. There is no reception or a guard at the location itself. The reception and check in takes place in a hotel 100 meter’s away.
Joseph_Adam — Google review
Perfectly fine hotel to stay a few nights, right in the heart of Antwerp. Way too expensive for what you get, but that's mostly because of the location. All facilities like reception and breakfast are in the Raddison Blue across the street, you can use fitness and swimmingpool there as well. My room was nice, good big bed, a view of the Astrid Plein, airco worked but could have been better, bathroom is dated but was clean and the shower was good. All in all not a top hotel, but I would stay there again. Reading other comments, one of the lift apparantly has been broken for months, it was during my stay in the beginning of September.
Rik V — Google review
Booked early check-in 12pm and on the confirmation it said "guaranteed." Went to check-in after 12 and hotel receptionist said that the room was not ready. Tried to ask why the confirmation said guaranteed if its not guaranteed. Did not give any explanation and did not apologize for the wrong information or did not offer to hold our luggages until the room was ready. Staff seemed a bit rude. The only reason we booked this hotel was the chance to get the room earlier so we could relax with my friend before a concert in the evening. Came back around 14.30 and room was still not ready and again at 15 went to check in again and they still said to come back to queue again in 10 minutes. Had to go all the way back to the queue and there were lot of people checkin in so waited another 20 mins to do that again. After 3rd time the room was ready. I requested twin beds with my friend and got a king bed with one blanket. Room also was not tidy and had some rubbish in the table and floor. Tried to call reception 4 times regarding those things but they did not answer. Park inn does not have their own reception since the sister hotel handles everything across the street and was so tired from the whole day traveling so did not want to do have any more trouble and took what we have and just tried to enjoy rest of our trip which was good. Location of the hotel is excellent and check out was fast at 7am.
Anette — Google review
Extremely overpriced. We were in a superior room in Park inn, and for this price that we paid the room was kind of small, the lights in the room like a candle light, empty mini bar, just an electric kettle and few instant coffee bags, no complimentary toiletries- just refilled bottles. But what disappointed me the most was that the room was not vacuumed properly, there were crumbs on the floor, and few spider webs in the corners....The breakfast in Radisson Blu was nice, and the staff there was also nice, but I think really they should pay some attention to the Park inn also if they ask nearly 200 euros per night.

Hotel Antwerp Billard Palace is a budget-friendly accommodation in the cultural district of Antwerp, Belgium. The straightforward rooms come with breakfast and guests can enjoy the on-site billiards hall. Located near Meir Shopping Street and ZOO Antwerpen, it offers easy access to popular attractions. Whether you're looking for a day of relaxation or an overnight stay, this hotel provides a convenient base for exploring the city's cultural offerings and entertainment options.
We were waiting for the train station to open after a concert past midnight and with no place to stay the night, have a very nice 2.5 hours time in the billiard for a good price to alleviate the cold outside. The attendant at the billiard was very friendly and helpful

located in the center what is great, hotel itself and the furniture old , room did not look cozy at all, there was no bin on the room, toilet and shower are separated and tiny . Everything looks very old like of time stopped for a couple decades but all functioned properly and bed was comfy. If you are scared of elevators avoid them, i got stuck in one, the receptionist rescued me, nothing dramatic but since he did not speak English or French I could not understand his instructions but he managed to get me out. You will see that elevator looks pretty scary.

Stayed for 3 nights (2022 Aug 19-22). Avoid this place at all cost, I regretted not listening to other reviews. Stayed for 3 nights arriving Antwerp on Friday. Friday night: party noises from outside and lots of doors banging, can't sleep. Saturday: I put up a 'do not disturb sign' outside my room in the morning, when I returned in the afternoon, the bath towel went missing. Told the reception, he claims he's not in charge of cleaning team and can't do anything, but will write it down and sort it out. Had to use hand/face towel after shower. Sunday: Bath towel still missing, party noises persists. Staff may sound friendly or sound helpful but does absolutely nothing. The only thing that is good is the location really.
Adrian L — Google review
TBH location is not bad, and the staff was friendly. And that's all good things that can be said about this place. Everything else : AVOID AS A PLAGUE!!! smelly dirty and disgusting rooms, I didn't even take the risk of getting into the shower. Booked as a last-minute emergency for an extra night as I arrived early. NEVER AGAIN.
P M — Google review
Unfriendly staff. Especially the white haired English man. Rude and couldn't care less about guests. Building is filthy, smells of toilet, dust, smoke. Broken lights and switches. Cigarette burns everywhere, burnt curtains. Did not feel safe leaving personal belongings as other guest could have access to the room via an adjoining roof. Budget hotel are not supposed to be luxurious however a major lack of attention to the cleanliness caused infection to my eye. Avoid at all costs. Spending the extra 10 € to avoid this hotel is worth it.
Luke C — Google review
Traveling as a group, we had two rooms. One had bed bugs, the other room had a nice used condom between the beds. Heater broken, noise pollution, smoke detector defect...I think this all speaks for itself. No refund, only snarky remarks. Do not go here.
Stefan H — Google review
There was a smell of cigarettes as soon as we entered the building. The hotel is very badly isolated therefore we couldn’t sleep the whole night because of the noise that came from inside and outside the hotel. Wifi is only free for 30 minutes and it didn’t work since you can’t log in at all. When we came back later at night, we got stuck in the elevator, with the explanation “Yeah, it’s an old one”. Besides that the workers there are very friendly and nice
Hilda L — Google review
Zero value for money. Rooms are very small. We had booked a double bed room but it was like a hostel room with two separate beds in a small verandah area. There were mosquitoes and spiders . Cleaniss was below average. We paid 60Euro per room and it was not worth. Only plus point is it's very close to central station. I highly recommend not to book this hotel and waste money.
