The best fries I’ve had in my entire life. We tried the fries with Parmesan and basil which turned out to be a great combination of flavors. Big portion size, as well. Must visit in Belgium.

When I saw rendang fries and Korean fried chicken on the menu, my eyes lit up — finally, a little Asian flavor among all the Belgian classics. The place was popping when we arrived — super busy and full of energy. Luckily, just as we walked in, a group got up to leave, and my husband managed to snag their seats right away while I placed our order. The wait wasn’t bad at all, especially considering how crowded it was. The only downside? The tables were pretty dirty — clearly, they were too busy to keep up with cleaning between customers. But no big deal for me — I always travel with sanitizing wipes (pro tip 😆), so crisis averted. Here’s what we had: Spicy Royal Rendang Fries — topped with tender rendang beef and spicy mayo. Super tasty and full of flavor! Shrimp Royale Croquette — also delicious, crispy on the outside and creamy inside. Korean Chicken Burger — just okay. The chicken itself was fried perfectly and nice and juicy, but the brioche bun was almost stale — a little too hard and not the fluffy kind it should be. Overall, the food was fun and flavorful, but I’m still on the hunt for fries fried in beef tallow or animal fat — the way they used to make them! It makes such a difference, but I guess it’s just too costly for most places these days. 😢 Still, this place hit the spot for a quick, casual fry fix with some creative twists. If you’re craving loaded fries and don’t mind a bit of chaos, it’s worth a stop!

It was very crowded on Saturday afternoon. I got regular frites. And tried all the sauce. Their recommendation was Basil one but I loved the classic. But the homemade sauce was the highlight of this place I think. Fries are also good. Staff are young and friendly.

Totally recommended. Go for the frtittes specials, top notch add-ones and super tasty. Chicken nuggets are good but nothing special. Croquets are OK, but a bit pricey. Well worth the wait, lines can be sometimes intimidating, but service is very fast and efficient! Will definitely visit again!

The customer service is great, and everyone was super nice! The food is great! The fries are very well salted, and the potato is extremely soft and well textured. It almost feels separated from the crispy outside. The shrimp royale croquette seems a bit expensive since you only get one.

For food, we ordered a salad bowl combo which came with a drink and potato fries. We also ordered extra pitas and loved the flavour and variety this place had to offer. Such an amazing restaurant!! I ordered the Sabich, which was one of the best ones I've ever tasted in my entire life. I loved the abundance of options I could put in my Sabich- all the vegetables were so, so fresh. The bread was also sourdough, which is very appreciated, since I eat healthfully. Owner was also so kind! Highly recommend!!

By far best falafel not only from Antwerp, nor Belgium, but the entire world. Absolutely delicious. Love the variety of vegetables, sauces and the option to choose by yourself exactly the mix that you want. The wedges and so crispy, and the fresh lemonade it’s a must try. By far the best falafel 🥙 sandwich I’ve ever had in yearsssssssssss. You executed perfectly, the flavor exploded in my mouth. Very authentic. So you order your sandwich, and when is ready, you fill it with all the option you want from the cold table. The sauce they give to eat 😋😋😋 that mango sauce is delightful.

This is the place that I've been visiting for the last 8 years. The food is simply amazing. Everything is fresh and super tasty. Prices are more than reasonable. Israel is a super nice guy and I can't recommend his place enough.

This place has the best Jewish falafel and Sabih in town. After you place the order you get to do the add on the way you like and choose the pickles, vegetables and spices. What I loved as well is that they give you 3 bottles of different sauces (tahini, yoghurt and Moroccan) and you get to add as much as you want.

Food was delicious, fresh, real authentic Jewish European food like my Mother used to make. At first I thought it was pricey but when I saw the portion size it all made sense. I couldn't eat up so the owners packed it up and vacuumed packed it with more sides at no extra cost. The next day we enjoyed the supper on the Authoban in Germany where there was no Kosher food available.

Had lunch here 2 weeks ago because we wanted to try kosher food. It was absolutely delicious! The owner was very nice and kind in helping us choose the food. The hygiene in the restaurant was also superb. Hands down, one of the best restaurants in Antwerp.

Hands down the best falafel spot in Belgium!! It’s a vegetarian place serving authentic falafels and hummus. The falafel, pita bread and hummus is prepared inhouse and tastes delicious. Ingredients are very fresh and the taste is further elevated when you have it with the complimentary dips (love their green chilli variant). The staff is really warm and is ready to help you customise your order according to your preference. The place is really affordable and I would highly recommend anyone in Antwerp or outside to check it out

We ordered two soups. The jain soup and vegetable soup are the same soup base (tomato with spices) . Just different vegetables. Both are too salty for my taste. Hummus salad: tasted normal. The pita bread was warm. A bonus point. The latke was very disappointing. They refried it and burned it around the edges. The whole thing looked dark. Inedible and too greasy. I saw the latkes at the cashier and they looked better Boureka: I tried the spinach and cheese one. It's lumpy., so i guess it was just heated up in the microwave. Taste would have been better if it was warmed up in the oven. The accompanying dipping sauces to the hummus salad were tasty though. I finished the pita soaking up the sauces. For the price I paid, I think the food quality should be higher.

Great place to grab a cheap(for Antwerp) filling and fresh meal. Not the best falafel I’ve ever eaten but was perfectly tasty. Amazing service- lady was rushed off her feet but still smiling and food was fast.

Friendly service. Nice atmosphere. We went for the falafel with the works on beni bread and a latke. As a whole it was a good meal and a pleasant experience. If I were to zoom in on the falafel balls, they were nice, but not the best I’ve had. They were a bit tan, bland and starchy – I missed the green color and taste of fresh herbs. The condiments made up for that though! Would visit again!

Tasty food, but service could be improved We visited Beni Falafel and enjoyed several dishes. The hummus falafel was amazing—flavorful and satisfying. We also tried the falafel balls with hummus and the regular falafel, which the kids absolutely loved. The fresh carrot juice was a nice touch—refreshing and natural. However, the soup was a bit too salty for my taste, and unfortunately, the service was really slow. Overall, great food, but be prepared to wait a little.

I always go here to get falafel, latkes and burekas and has never disappointed before. I have never eaten inside this restaurant, i always get take out and eat it at home. The staff is nice when i go there to order/pick up and the service is relatively quick considering it can get quite busy here.

We ordered a Chocolate Coffee Cake and Apple Crumble. The Chocolate cake was general portion and both were great presented. I was so looking forward to dive in my beautiful looking Chocolate Coffee Cake and so as my husband. My Chocolate Coffee Cake was extremely dry and the Apple Crumble was just ok ( the raspberry coulis was mediocre). A big letdown by our choice of dessert.

Service can be a bit slow, as there was only one staff member during my visit, but they were friendly and did their best. Overall, a great choice for fresh, tasty vegetarian food in a calm setting.

I took To good to go and is a surprise box, so I was open minded for anything, but not for FISH! I am vegetarian 15 years already and I was very disappointed to remove it from my mouth. One of the reasons to order from here is that I can have this peace of mind and trust the food is vegan/vegetarian. In my understanding in this case they can at list ask or notice about the fish, there is people with allergies as well, so better to be clear.

Food is okay. The texture of most dishes is soft/mushy so if you want some texture in your food, I recommend you to take the salad. One dish is around 20 euro. It's not cheap so you'd expect some kind of service but it was horrible. We were with international students and we (Belgian) were quite ashamed of the service, especially the Asian lady. The previous time I'd been there she was also pretty rude. She could use some kind of hospitality lessons. There's another Julienne food place close to here so go there. Same food (vegan and gluten free) and there was very friendly person who served. Nowadays there are plenty of other vegan food places you can go in Antwerp with friendly staffs.

A few vegan, many vegetarian options. The to-go prices are already high, but 6€ surcharge for a piece of lasagne just because you eat there? The man who took my order seemed unfriendly, the other service was nice. But €8 for a piece of cake, €4 for a vegan cappuccino? You just can't understand that, it's a shame!

I had high hopes. First impressions were good. The space is nicely decorated. I had to walk from my hotel to get to the place and arrived at about 8.15pm (the website said it was open until 9). I was immediately told I could only have a main dish, which I thought was a bit unfair, but ok. I was told to sit at any table, so I chose one of the tables for 2 that wasn't directly next to other diners. I was then asked to move as sitting there would be in the way for the waitress (then why have a table there?). I chose a tagine with cod for my main, and ordered a hole made ice tea. The ice tea wasn't to my liking, but that's just a matter of personal taste, there will probably be just as many people who would have loved it. However, the cod fish balls (bits of fish mixed with other things and shaped) in the tagine were so salty as to be totally inedible. I am used to eating salted cod (this wasn't advertised as such) and this was so much worse. I removed all of the cod balls and put them in the bread dish and ate the rest - which wasn't particularly flavoursome and definitely not what would be expected of a tagine. The staff saw me doing this but didn't ask if things were ok. I explained to the waitress when she came to collect the dish that the fish had been impossible to eat and again when I was paying. She just didn't seem to care. Some flavour combinations won't suit my palate, I can accept that. I mark this place down for serving inedible food (super salty fish), not seeming to care and not taking any steps towards customer satisfaction.

Me and my fiancé ate there yesterday and we both fell in LOVE with the food, everything was so yummy and the portions were big as well, I would come to Antwerp again just for them! 😍 next time I’m having double portions mango sticky rice because it was just so good!

The food was pretty tasty. I would definitely recommend the lemongrass hue ( it felt as authentic as what we had in vietnam). The bbq pork bowl was also good but the pork belly had a bit more of fatty parts. The vibe is pretty cosy! Would love to try out some more dishes here.

Everything was amazing! The dishes (chicken and halloumi) tasted wonderful and we also really liked the homemade peach ice tea. And on top of that with a super friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere. We definitely recommend!

This is one of our favourite brunch places in the city. The only downside it’s that is pretty small and popular, so you definitely need to make a reservation through their website. Also a suggestion: they should add a changing table for babies in the toilet.

The food was amazing. The platters were honestly some of the best brunch food we've ever eaten. We ordered almost all platters and the Tapas one was the best. They had so many options and the meat filled pastries were delicious. We really really recommend.

What an amazing place! The staff is super friendly, your food is served immediatly and it's delicious. Perfect amount even for the very hungry few. You also get drinks with your dish. The place is cosy with beautiful decorations but not too much. It's not cheap but for what you get it is definitely worth the price. They also serve very decent coffee. Overall a real recommendation for breakfast and lunch. There's enough choice and I promise you will walk out with a happy belly.

A nice and cozy place with really friendly servers. We had the Turkish and Maroccan breakfast. It was really good and very filling. Price and quality was definitely worth it. Just difficult to find when you are in Antwerp, but worth it when you fancy middle Eastern food.

We had such a great meal! We ordered regular hummus, cigars (three rounds!), fattoush salad, and schnitzel. Everything was delicious. The place itself is really pretty — we sat on the narrow street side, which felt super cozy, especially with the nice weather. The flavors were bold and balanced — sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and umami all came through. If you enjoy a strong mix of tastes, especially sweet and sour contrasts, this spot really delivers. Ohhh it was so good! At the end, the owner offered us a tahini ice cream with a crunchy topping — such a nice surprise and really tasty. Definitely recommended! 😊

Ridiculously good!! One of the best meals I've had in a long time. The roasted cauliflower with date syrup was the star of the show! But the smoky aubergine and zaatar chicken hummus were also delicious. Never had hummus that creamy in my life. I think I could eat here every day!

Great place to sit in and eat. The interiors are quite modern, colorful and happy in style. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. For my order, what I specifically felt is that everything was good but on its own. The bread was great sprinkled with some spice mix. The meat was good and so was the coleslaw. I was hoping for a twist in the food as the slogan says. But I didn’t find any until the end when I could taste the sauce. The sauces are definitely something unique to them. And I do feel that if I could have had the taste of the sauce throughout the eating experience, I would have loved it more. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the place and the food. I am definitely going back asking specifically to layer the sauces.

We ordered there recommended Black Pepper Beef. The taste was good. However the serving size was bit small. The atmosphere was good. We went for the lunch. There were not lots of customers. So calm and peaceful. Also the best thing was that the food was Halal.

Place is nicely decorated in modern, industrial design. Menu available in English. Food was good, served in generous portions. The tuna bowl ingredients were well thought of, and tuna steak cooked perfectly - good option for a healthy meal, but I will not recommend if you do not like fruit in your main dishes. Kebab sandwiches offers something different from your usual wraps. Avocado fries that came as a side option was also a good one, but a bit too avocadoey without a proper sauce. Overall, a great joint.

Another Halal restaurant in Antwerp we tried for our lunch. They serve super delicious and healthy meals. I ordered a Kwatsalon which in my opinion is a healthy version of Kapsalon. The portion was too big for me so I wrapped the half for takeout.

If you like falafel or hummus, and you're in Antwerp, Falafel King is worth going out of your way to visit. Authentic Palestinian falafel with unbelievably tasty baba, hummus, and pickled sides served alongside just-baked pita. They also serve delicious sage tea that goes wonderfully with your meal. I've dined at more than a hundred falafel spots, and this was among the very finest. Great prices, too. On top of all this, the owner and his staff are super friendly people.

Since we discovered Falafel King with the Too good to go-app, we regularly have dinner there. We really looooove the falafel here! Also a big fan of the black tea with fresh sage. And very friendly owner (who can even speak Italian :-)). Update 22/4: I moved to Italy in the meanwhile but was visiting this week and didn't want to miss the opportunity to eat the best falafel in the city. It was pleasant to meet the owner again (I keep forgetting his name😊) who was eager to practise some Italian 😁. Love this place and its food!🤤

Nordica 31 is a coffee shop in southwest Antwerp that offers a limited menu of food options and serves up nice, warm beverages. There is inside seating and outside seating on one of two terraces. Service is extremely friendly. Great that it is open on Sundays.

Lovely brunch place in Antwerp! We went here on Easter Monday and managed to grab a table in the sun with almost no waiting time. It’s self service, which is why I can’t say much about the Service but the lady sitting us was friendly! I had the smørenbrod with Avocado, which was a bit small for 10€ but nonetheless, delicious! My boyfriend had the French toast which was also a bit pricey but looked very aesthetic and tasted really good. Coffee was also good and we had a cinnamon bun each to top it off. Nice place!

went there without a reservation and although it was full we did not wait long for a place. the interior design is so genius with the see through floor where you can see the kitchen - something that is so unusual and unique about this place. the food is scandinavian style which is common in Antwerp and we love it. The owner is super friendly, his hospitality is unmatched, we felt very welcome. He took his time to make a meal especially for us. He made us 2 wraps so we could taste different flavours. Honestly one of the most overrated places I’ve been to. The food looks fancy on the plate but tastes bland and uninspired. My steak was dry, the vegetables were soggy, and the so-called “signature sauce” had zero flavor. Service? Rude and careless. We waited far too long, and when we politely pointed it out, the waiter acted like we were the problem. Zero effort to accommodate guests — especially families. No kids’ options, no warmth, just attitude. La Ruche tries to act like a high-end restaurant, but fails on every front. If you want style over quality, by all means go. Otherwise, avoid.

I went there in the afternoon on a really hot day. It was very calm I was alone at first. When I got on the 9th floor ( where Bijtutti is) there were only 4 female servers and they were very friendly and asked me what I wanted. I wanted a Virgin Mojito but they didn't have it at the moment sadly so I just took a Coca-Cola. I went on the balcony and like I said, it was very hot. There was a really beautiful view. TRY IT!

Furniture is new, clean and soft indoors, the two outdoor terraces offer a lovely view of the Antwerp skyline. "Bij Tutti" means "with everyone" and that is exactly how it feels: anyone is welcome. It's why I came in for a morning coffee and went back for lunch a few hours later. I can heartily recommend!

We went there for lunch and another time for dinner. Very nice place. A bit harder to find but 100% worth it. It has a really nice rooftop terrace and the food is really delicious, very nice owner as well. A must try :)
