My recent experience at Humm in Antwerp was thoroughly enjoyable. The food was truly excellent, bursting with fresh and vibrant flavors. I particularly appreciated the thoughtfully curated menu; its concise nature clearly indicates a commitment to using fresh, seasonal ingredients that are turned over frequently. We opted for the "Humm experience" (€35 per person), which included a generous selection of 3 mezze, 2 salads, and ample pita bread on the side. Every single dish was delicious and well-prepared. It was also a great bonus that the staff were comfortable speaking English, making our dining experience seamless. Despite it being a busy Saturday night, the service was relatively prompt and efficient. What truly stood out, however, was the attentiveness of the staff. Our waiter proactively offered us a different table when the noise level increased due to a nearby large group, which we greatly appreciated. This thoughtful gesture truly enhanced our comfort and enjoyment of the evening. Overall, Humm provided a fantastic dining experience. The combination of delicious, fresh food, efficient service, and thoughtful hospitality makes it a place I would highly recommend.

The hot plates (cauli, sweet potato fries and croquettes) were all super flavorful. We also tried the mushroom street food dish (which should be consumed quickly!! Because it does get soggy towards the end) and that was also a pleasant surprise. Overall recommend this place for a veg forward meal ~ portions are big too

Food is nice, plant based and varied. We had the aubergine, which was a bit too loaded with tahini, drowning the natural lovely flavor of the dish. The cabbage was delicious, the croquettes too! Lemonades are refreshing.

Scouring Antwerp for a last-minute vegetarian-friendly restaurant, we came across this gem. Israeli food, with whimsical names, and 100% vegan ingredients - but oh so fresh and delicious. Drinks were refreshing, the hummus creamy, and the sabich was a huge hit. A+ would eat again and and again and again!

This was genuinely some of the best food I’ve had in a while. I will not stop thinking about the return of the pita, I think about how good it was every day. They also have a to go bar with ready to eat side dishes and hummus!

We ordered a Chocolate Coffee Cake and Apple Crumble. The Chocolate cake was general portion and both were great presented. I was so looking forward to dive in my beautiful looking Chocolate Coffee Cake and so as my husband. My Chocolate Coffee Cake was extremely dry and the Apple Crumble was just ok ( the raspberry coulis was mediocre). A big letdown by our choice of dessert.

Hidden just off a busy street in Antwerp, De Broers van Julienne offers a peaceful spot to enjoy a healthy vegetarian meal. The food is fresh and flavorful prepared with seasonal, organic ingredients. The cozy interior, rustic furniture, and sunny terrace add to the charm, making it a great place to relax or catch up with friends. Service can be a bit slow, as there was only one staff member during my visit, but they were friendly and did their best. Overall, a great choice for fresh, tasty vegetarian food in a calm setting.

I took To good to go and is a surprise box, so I was open minded for anything, but not for FISH! I am vegetarian 15 years already and I was very disappointed to remove it from my mouth. One of the reasons to order from here is that I can have this peace of mind and trust the food is vegan/vegetarian. In my understanding in this case they can at list ask or notice about the fish, there is people with allergies as well, so better to be clear.

Food is okay. The texture of most dishes is soft/mushy so if you want some texture in your food, I recommend you to take the salad. One dish is around 20 euro. It's not cheap so you'd expect some kind of service but it was horrible. We were with international students and we (Belgian) were quite ashamed of the service, especially the Asian lady. The previous time I'd been there she was also pretty rude. She could use some kind of hospitality lessons. There's another Julienne food place close to here so go there. Same food (vegan and gluten free) and there was very friendly person who served. Nowadays there are plenty of other vegan food places you can go in Antwerp with friendly staffs.

A few vegan, many vegetarian options. The to-go prices are already high, but 6€ surcharge for a piece of lasagne just because you eat there? The man who took my order seemed unfriendly, the other service was nice. But €8 for a piece of cake, €4 for a vegan cappuccino? You just can't understand that, it's a shame!

I had high hopes. First impressions were good. The space is nicely decorated. I had to walk from my hotel to get to the place and arrived at about 8.15pm (the website said it was open until 9). I was immediately told I could only have a main dish, which I thought was a bit unfair, but ok. I was told to sit at any table, so I chose one of the tables for 2 that wasn't directly next to other diners. I was then asked to move as sitting there would be in the way for the waitress (then why have a table there?). I chose a tagine with cod for my main, and ordered a hole made ice tea. The ice tea wasn't to my liking, but that's just a matter of personal taste, there will probably be just as many people who would have loved it. However, the cod fish balls (bits of fish mixed with other things and shaped) in the tagine were so salty as to be totally inedible. I am used to eating salted cod (this wasn't advertised as such) and this was so much worse. I removed all of the cod balls and put them in the bread dish and ate the rest - which wasn't particularly flavoursome and definitely not what would be expected of a tagine. The staff saw me doing this but didn't ask if things were ok. I explained to the waitress when she came to collect the dish that the fish had been impossible to eat and again when I was paying. She just didn't seem to care. Some flavour combinations won't suit my palate, I can accept that. I mark this place down for serving inedible food (super salty fish), not seeming to care and not taking any steps towards customer satisfaction.

Lovely food, very well managed garden with loads of herbs, and really lovely staff. Great place to be for a few hours on a Saturday/Sunday 👌

A lovely place to gather with friends for grabbing brunch/lunch while catching up over some delicious pancakes and coffee. The dirty chai latte was nicely seasoned. The staff is also quite helpful and friendly

We were excited to eat here as it was a centrally located vegan restaurant and next to our hotel. The food was good however, the tofu was very salty and the potato wedges were oily and undercooked for both of our dishes. Based on the other reviews, I assume this was a one off and not the norm.

Not only that the atmosphere was great and the food very delicious, the staff was even so nice to send me my glasses back home that I forgot in their restaurant. I'm super happy and thankful. Will definitely return there whenever I'm in Antwerp.

Environment: 5/5 nice and cozy little place. They allowed for reservations and dogs inside. Overall the ambiance was modern with light touches of wood inspired with a. Spanish/Mexican theme. Food: 4/5 All the food is vegan and they called our specific food allergies in the menu. The chorizo hot dog was unique and something that I’ve never had before, but the toppings didn’t really match and bread was a little hard. The blueberry pancakes had a different flavor which wasn’t too bad, but something that we weren’t used to. Price: 4/5 For the amount of food gotten it was not that much. The ingredients were fresh, however not worth the price especially for a restaurant near a major port that imports food.

Delicious plant based (vegan) and thus earthfriendly food! And really friendly and nice staff. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and is really cozy. Definitely recommend! We choose 3 tapas (all for 2p) and in the end a delicious dessert. The Matcha latte and other drinks are also good and not too sweet. The matcha was a good quality and you will taste it!

Cute vegan place with a very appetizing menu, it was hard to choose! We ended up ordering pancakes and the cheese plate, and both were excellent. The blueberry pancakes were fluffy and delicious, easily one of the best vegan pancakes I've had. The cheese plate was also great, vegan cheese can be hard to get right and everything on the plate was absolutely delicious, even for my non-vegan partner. I would definitely come back and I highly recommend to anyone visiting the city! PS: it looked so delicious that I forgot to take a picture before taking a bite !

I don’t think the Albondigas are gluten free although it says that in their menu. I had a reaction afterwards. Please check this guys. Otherwise very hospitable and kind staff and I enjoyed the Vegan Paella

Service was exceptional and lovely smiling lady from Greece was really good with our baby and explained the options to customise in detail. 10 stars to her. For food, we ordered a salad bowl combo which came with a drink and potato fries. We also ordered extra pitas and loved the flavour and variety this place had to offer. Will definitely come back for both, service + food 🙏👍 Keep it up ✅️

Such an amazing restaurant!! I ordered the Sabich, which was one of the best ones I've ever tasted in my entire life. I loved the abundance of options I could put in my Sabich- all the vegetables were so, so fresh. The bread was also sourdough, which is very appreciated, since I eat healthfully. Owner was also so kind! Highly recommend!!

By far best falafel not only from Antwerp, nor Belgium, but the entire world. Absolutely delicious. Love the variety of vegetables, sauces and the option to choose by yourself exactly the mix that you want. The wedges and so crispy, and the fresh lemonade it’s a must try. By far the best falafel 🥙 sandwich I’ve ever had in yearsssssssssss. You executed perfectly, the flavor exploded in my mouth. Very authentic. So you order your sandwich, and when is ready, you fill it with all the option you want from the cold table. The sauce they give to eat 😋😋😋 that mango sauce is delightful.

This is the place that I've been visiting for the last 8 years. The food is simply amazing. Everything is fresh and super tasty. Prices are more than reasonable. Israel is a super nice guy and I can't recommend his place enough.

This place has the best Jewish falafel and Sabih in town. After you place the order you get to do the add on the way you like and choose the pickles, vegetables and spices. What I loved as well is that they give you 3 bottles of different sauces (tahini, yoghurt and Moroccan) and you get to add as much as you want.

As an Italian, I was naturally very curious to try Spritz Antwerpen, especially given the often limited options for vegan dishes back home. I was incredibly excited to discover a place so dedicated to plant-based Italian cuisine. We started by sharing the "small calamari," which were ingeniously made with oyster mushrooms. They were surprisingly tasty and a fantastic vegan take on a classic. For our main courses, we opted for the vegan amatriciana and carbonara – and both were absolutely delicious! I particularly enjoyed the carbonara; it had a wonderful creamy texture without being overly rich or drenched in cream, striking a perfect balance. The amatriciana was equally impressive, tasting remarkably authentic to the traditional version. 😍 To conclude our meal, we shared the tiramisu, which was simply "to die for." It was the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal. While we sipped the limoncello and Amaro del Capo on this occasion, the entire experience left a lasting positive impression. I would wholeheartedly recommend Spritz Antwerpen to anyone, vegan or not, looking for delicious and authentic Italian flavors with a creative plant-based twist. I can certainly see why it's considered one of the top-rated restaurants – it truly lives up to the hype!

By far the best Italian place in town. As antipasti we had fried calamari and bruschetta. Tasted really fresh and not overly salted. Our main courses were just as amazing. Food takes a bit longer here because it’s all made fresh. Really worth the wait tho. Staff were really friendly and it had a really cosy atmosphere inside. Will definitely come back!

It was outstanding experience dining here, from the friendly staff all the way to the calming atmosphere. AND THE FOOD ... I had the cheese plate and calamares and these were the best I had in a very long toen - maybe even ever! And have had my fair share of vegan cheeses and dining experiences. I can nothing but whole-heartingly recommend this place. No matter if vegan or not.

I’ve been following Spritz on Instagram for years and just now decided to go for the first time. Even after reading all the lovely reviews, I was still positively surprised. Even by walking through the door, you can see how much work and love is put into the interior, the drinks, the food, the service (and even the bathroom!). For starters we had the bruschetta, especially the ones with burrata are to die for! Then we had the pasta amatriciana and pasta carbonara and they were both perfect; you can close your eyes and instantly travel to Italy. Last but not least I ordered the tiramisu pistacchio and although my expectations were high, it definitely did not disappoint. Overall, we just had the perfect restaurant experience and we will definitely be returning. Congratulations to the owners and staff because you really have created such a lovely place!

We had an absolutely incredible dining experience. The food was so delicious it brought tears to my companion’s eyes. Each course was perfectly complemented by the drink pairings: both the wines and the mocktails. Personally, I was especially impressed by the mocktails: creative, balanced and full of flavor. I was genuinely amazed by how innovative and intensely flavorful the dishes were especially considering they were made from regional ingredients that might seem simple or “boring” at first glance. The team managed to turn them into something truly extraordinary. The service was relaxed yet professional and we felt completely at ease throughout the evening. We opted for the 5-course menu but by the end we found ourselves wishing we had gone for the 6-course option. It was that good.

10/10 - food amazing (also for non vegans, because the flavours and textures are just superb), seasonal menu, stylish setting in a cosy courtyard. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Pace of the courses is good, not too fast not too slow. Good selection of non alcoholic drinks that suit the meal.

Wonderful, fabulous flavour profiles, each dish was an explosion of amazing tastes. All locally sourced. I don't normally take pictures of my food, but today was an exceptional one and i got pictures of most dishes (difficult when the food was so good to not just dig in). The Restaurant itself well appointed in a fantastic courtyard setting. We went on a Wednesday night and selected the 5 dish taster and shared an optional sixth. Never have we seen Vegan done so well especially as fine dining. We walked in soaking from the rain and were met with bright warming smiles and every dish was explained as it arrived in detail and in English (which being English helped a lot). Service was fantastic from everyone and to also have the kitchen and chefs on full view with the restaurant set up to serve everyone at nearly the same time the same course over the evening was fantastic. Would we recommend, yes we would, because we would want to share this with you so that it's here and has been supported next time we pass. Thank you for making my wife's special night just right and serving desert with a candle 🕯 x

Absolutely fantastic vegan fine dining in a nice laid back setting. The restaurant is located in a green inner courtyard together with a lot of other nice places that gives it an extra casual feel. The 6 course menu (with an optional 7th dish) was creative and refined. It was entertaining to learn about the subtle details that went into every plate, try to taste every ingredient no matter how small, and pay close attention to how they played together. We took most of the paired non-alcoholic drinks and can highly recommend them. Although volume wise it's a bit much together with all the food, you can share the drink. It was interesting as well to notice how some of these drinks became tastier once you had them with the actual plate they were matched with. The terrace outside was covered by big sun screens that even on a rainy evening made it feel cost and refreshing. Inside looks well designed as well. The whole evening spread out over 3,5 hours and we had a great time, thanks to the kind hosts as well, who clearly enjoyed sharing what they knew about everything that was served.

Like some of the other reviewers here, I was almost worried the reviews were too positive, but after having been to Camionette, I can safely say that the reviews are accurate. The amazing food, the wonderful staff, but I also found it a joy to watch the guys in the kitchen work, quiet professionals. It was a very memorable evening, and I don't know why anyone would doubt going here, but if that's you, do not worry, you won't be disappointed.

One of the most outstanding features of Camionette is its emphasis on plant-based cuisine. As we navigated the menu, the variety and creativity on display were nothing short of impressive. Each dish was not only visually appealing but also packed with flavor. It was evident that the chef had gone to great lengths to showcase the possibilities of plant-based food. In addition to the food, Camionette also shines in its selection of natural wines. These are a little different from conventional wines, and it's fair to say they're an acquired taste. However, we found that they were well chosen and paired beautifully with our meals, highlighting subtle flavors and enriching the dining experience. The staff at Camionette was another highlight of our evening. Friendly and knowledgeable, they made our dinner more enjoyable by explaining each dish's components and inspiration. It was a nice touch that demonstrated their commitment to providing an engaging dining experience. The only critique we had was the overall length of the dining experience. Our dinner took around 3.5 hours, with dessert served quite late. For early diners like us, this was a bit longer than we're used to, but it's worth noting this might not be an issue for everyone. In conclusion, Camionette is a wonderful spot for a lovely evening out. If you're open to trying something new and are not in a rush, it offers an engaging and enjoyable dining experience. We wholeheartedly recommend it!

Visited from one day from Brussels, and the food was beyond delicious. As a celiac, finding gluten free meals that are extraordinary and exciting is not always easy! I definitely recommend, the server was so nice and helpful navigating the menu!

A good variety of options! Specializes in breakfast and lunch :) We were big family so could try half their menu… must try all their fresh juices. Loved lasagna and burger ( part of day speciality) Banana cake is super nutritious and moderatly sweet !

One of the best en cosiest places to go for brunch, lunch or a natural wine! Seasonal, super fresh, original and organic food served by warm smiley people in a beautiful decor. Seasonal menu that changes every couple of weeks and offers something for everyone. The feeling of “A home away from home”!

Amazing food here. All organic and vegetarian/vegan meals. The menu was varied (although a little pricey) but the food was definitely worth it. The portions were big and you definitely feel full after it. The location was small enough for its popularity but the staff were friendly.

The place is cute and cozy, a good choice for Sunday breakfast. The coffee was done perfectly. We ordered breakfast for 2 people (YOLO vegan breakfast), and there’s a lot to eat! But for my taste it’s a carbs overdose, it should be balanced better 🥵

I really enjoyed my french-style fake chicken salad and matcha latte and would definitely recommend, although it’s a little pricey! The reason why I couldn’t give 5 stars is that I thought the service was a little lacking. I understand I arrived during lunchtime on a Sunday but I could sense the pressure when I walked in and they were talking to themselves to find me a table. I also noticed that there were quite a few of them working behind the bar rather than out serving customers or delivering the ready drinks and food out to tables. I wouldn’t say the service was terrible, as the girl who served me was very nice(!), I just think there are areas for improvement.

I absolutely love the packaging and overall vibe of the shop, the soft pastel colours are adorable! The cinnamon rolls were soft and gooey, I wouldn’t have known they were vegan if I didn’t look it up beforehand. There’s not a lot of seating, only 2 benches or so since there is no space inside. It seems this is better suited for takeaway rather than eating there. The person in the shop was nice and helpful, and my overall experience was good. Would happily come here again for a sweet treat!

Nestling into a small but inviting space in Antwerp, Have A Roll offers a delightful selection of vegan cinnamon rolls. While the shop itself is quite compact, it has a pleasant, cozy atmosphere that makes for a nice stop. On our visit, we sampled a few of their flavors: the classic, pistachio, speculaas, and peanut butter and jelly. The rolls are undeniably nice, fresh, and satisfying for a sweet treat. However, it's worth noting that they are good, solid cinnamon rolls, but perhaps not "next-level" or overly adventurous in their flavor profiles. Out of the varieties we tried, the speculaas truly stood out as the highlight. Its warm, spiced notes perfectly complement the sweet roll and provide a comforting, familiar taste that sets it apart. If you're visiting Have A Roll, I would highly recommend opting for the speculaas flavor. Overall, Have A Roll is a charming spot to satisfy a vegan cinnamon roll craving in Antwerp. While the rolls are enjoyable across the board, the speculaas flavor is the one to seek out for a truly memorable experience.

The rolls are amazing as per usual! They melted quite fast due to the heat outside but they were still very tasty Girly at the counter wasn’t the friendliest, the ones in Brussels are more welcoming :/ but the rolls were worth the couldn’t care less face 🌸

sooo good! Have never eaten here because I think the bench outside doesn't look that inviting. The place is cute though and the staff is really friendly and helpful. Sometimes get one as a sweet treat to enjoy at home after diner. And they are seriously really good, such good texture and flavor, yum!

Fantastic cinnamon rolls. I took away one with Pistachio topping. After walking around a couple of hours in Antwerp I bought one more roll with Pecan topping for the train ride. Delicious! The staff is super friendly, positive vibes and smile on their face even when there's a queue. Kudos to you all!

They are serving vegan cinnamon rolls and as a Lotus enthusiastic I have chosen the biscoff flavour for €3.9. The lady at the counter was super helpful and kind, and the cinnamon roll actually tasted gooey, well-flavoured, but the biscoff was only appearing on the top as a frosting, which was also not too intense. But if you are craving for some cinnamon rolls I am highly recommending it.

Simone’s Kitchen features a different country-inspired menu every month. I had the opportunity to stay here during the Lebanese menu, which was excellent and well-balanced. The restaurant is small, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere where you can experience incredible hospitality from volunteers from all over the world who work there. I highly recommend this hidden gem!

A lovely independent guest house and vegan restaurant. The owners and staff are so welcoming and kind. They have meals at night which are open to the public. When we stayed it was a Jamaican menu. This was all plant-based and gluten-free. We had breakfast which included tea, coffee and juice. We booked this the night before we ate. My partner had home made granola with fresh fruit and rice milk. Because I am coeliac and have to eat gluten free I was unable to have any of the breakfasts as they all included either bread, or regular oats, which I can't have. I asked if I could have "leftovers" from the Jamaican meal for breakfast and the chef was very obliging and said yes. So I had delicious Jamaican breakfast. Nice healthy and filling. The dining room is calm, light and airy. With an open kitchen. The room was on the 4th floor. There are no lifts so please don't stay here if you have mobility issues. The room was large and had a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was ensuite and had glass panels with frosting so you couldn't see in. There are also a couple of separate toilets in the hallway if you prefer more privacy. The guest house is in a quiet area and at night you don't hear anything. In the morning the road outside is busier at 8am... as you would expect in a city. The guesthouse is close to tram route no 4, which takes you in the city centre. Otherwise it is 1 mile/1.6km walk. There is a supermarket next to the tram stop which is also handy. We recommend staying here. Very relaxing and welcoming.

Great Ice Cream and very knowledgeable staff! It’s not always easy to eat gluten free and vegan but here it was absolutely no problem at all! We asked for the specifics of the gluten free menu items and got very informed answers. They even made sure to scoop safely, which makes one feel super safe here!

I wish I lived in Antwerp just so I could visit this place more often!! I was absolutely wowed by the knowledgeable person serving us, I think she might be one of the owners. I was even allowed to choose for smaller portions in different flavors because I couldn't chose. I got Speculoos, strawberry cheesecake and straciatella. I do understand the reviews saying it's more watery than regular ice, but I didn't mind that at all: the flavors were standing out perfectly. I was super bummed I was too full to also try the waffles, so I'll HAVE to come back sometime to try those... One tip I could give the owners: they're not very noticeable from afar.

One of the best vegan ice cream places I’ve ever been to. You can literally taste the work, dedication and time that the owner put into finding the perfect recipes for her super creamy and very tasty ice cream. Wow! Also, don’t forget to order the mind-blowing lentil-based whipped cream. This is a must-do when in Antwerp.

A very good plant based restaurant. We went for lunch and they had a limited but good lunch menu of vegan / biological items. The products seemed fresh and fair and resulted in nice dishes, well made and with good flavours. They have a nice drinks menu too with good beers and cocktails. Also a nice variety of desserts. Friendly service who helped us out when the rain invaded our terrace table by putting up a terrace umbrella.

Nice location, friendly personal and delicious vegan food. We had the English breakfast and pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. Both were a good portion and very delicious! You need to try it when you're in Antwerp. We were there on Sunday morning and no reservation was required. But it might be good to Plan your visit and reserve a spot.

Nice place if you are looking for an all vegan restaurant! We were here for breakfast, which was good, but not extraordinary. The waffle I had was cold (maybe it’s supposed to be, but warm would have tasted better) so it felt quite dry and not freshly made. The toasts are ok, but I would have expected more for the price tag! The coffee is really good and the staff is super friendly! If you come for breakfast I‘d suggest to make a reservation beforehand.

During summer, I decided to contact CLO to organise my bridal party, and they did an amazing job!! The staff was really the best at organising the whole experience with me via email, as well as they were able to truly fit the theme of the wedding and go up and beyond. The table was beautiful decorated, and was in theme of a high tea. The whole bridal party loved it and the guests that were not vegan left amazed by how delicious vegan food can truly be, I would recommend them to anyone looking for an intimate place to host a brunch or pass by for a visit. They were super with the whole party! Service was so friendly, I look forward to visiting again. One of kind experience CLO made my bridal party a day to remember. ♡

Hands down the best falafel spot in Belgium!! It’s a vegetarian place serving authentic falafels and hummus. The falafel, pita bread and hummus is prepared inhouse and tastes delicious. Ingredients are very fresh and the taste is further elevated when you have it with the complimentary dips (love their green chilli variant). The staff is really warm and is ready to help you customise your order according to your preference. The place is really affordable and I would highly recommend anyone in Antwerp or outside to check it out

We ordered two soups. The jain soup and vegetable soup are the same soup base (tomato with spices) . Just different vegetables. Both are too salty for my taste. Hummus salad: tasted normal. The pita bread was warm. A bonus point. The latke was very disappointing. They refried it and burned it around the edges. The whole thing looked dark. Inedible and too greasy. I saw the latkes at the cashier and they looked better Boureka: I tried the spinach and cheese one. It's lumpy., so i guess it was just heated up in the microwave. Taste would have been better if it was warmed up in the oven. The accompanying dipping sauces to the hummus salad were tasty though. I finished the pita soaking up the sauces. For the price I paid, I think the food quality should be higher.

Great place to grab a cheap(for Antwerp) filling and fresh meal. Not the best falafel I’ve ever eaten but was perfectly tasty. Amazing service- lady was rushed off her feet but still smiling and food was fast.

Friendly service. Nice atmosphere. We went for the falafel with the works on beni bread and a latke. As a whole it was a good meal and a pleasant experience. If I were to zoom in on the falafel balls, they were nice, but not the best I’ve had. They were a bit tan, bland and starchy – I missed the green color and taste of fresh herbs. The condiments made up for that though! Would visit again!

Tasty food, but service could be improved We visited Beni Falafel and enjoyed several dishes. The hummus falafel was amazing—flavorful and satisfying. We also tried the falafel balls with hummus and the regular falafel, which the kids absolutely loved. The fresh carrot juice was a nice touch—refreshing and natural. I always go here to get falafel, latkes and burekas and has never disappointed before. I have never eaten inside this restaurant, i always get take out and eat it at home. The staff is nice when i go there to order/pick up and the service is relatively quick considering it can get quite busy here.

We had a great time, fortunately the rain waited for us to finish our birthday lunch. The very nice young man serving us even took the time to make a picture of everyone at our table, making the birthday girl ( aka grandma) very happy. We all had the tapas plate and they really taste as good as they looked. The only little minus : the drinks , so not our thing, next time we'll stick to water or soft drinks🙃

Very sweet and friendly people. Simple menu with just a few choices. Love the crunchiness of the classic cheese burger, the pesto portobello burger was slightly oversalted. The mixed appetizer platter was interesting. Not a fan of the wooden planks where the food was served on. Overall a nice place to catch up with friends.

My absolute favourite place in Antwerp! The whole setting is so cozy, you get to escape the busy city life but you’re still surrounded by cute and cozy bars. The food is to die for! This was an excellent dining experience in a very trendy part of Antwerp. The food was fantastic, and so was the service (thanks, Binck!!). We had the Jazz platter and the chicken-no-chicken so that we could try a little bit of everything. This is extremely well done vegan food; the vegans and omnivores in our group loved everything equally. They also have 5 great beers on tap and lots of nonalc options (including no-alc orange spritz!). We would certainly return.

The burgers are mushy, served in a Mc Donalds style bun, then with lots of sauce. Texture wise this is a real let down and the flavours aren’t there to compensate. Kind of unacceptably bad and won’t return. Nice service though.

Update: I put off writing this review for a year because as a vegan, I do not want to speak ill of a vegan restaurant. But to blatantly accuse a customer of lying is extra off-putting, especially when you can literally see the QR codes to scan for the digital menu in photos uploaded by customers. If they no longer have the digital menus then that is great, but the lying is inexcusable. I was also hoping with this feedback maybe they would give their employees some extra training in customer service and not to be on their phones, but this makes it clear that they do not care at all. Strangest experience ever. My wife and I were critiqued over wanting to sit inside and the waiter kept pressuring us to sit outside. Then we wanted menus and were told there were no physical menus and we had to use our phones to access them. There was an advertisement you had to skip passed to reach the menu but I have poor vision and could not see how to skip passed the ad. We then waited a long time and no one came to take our order despite literally being the only 2 people in the restaurant. The workers sat there on their phones. We got up and left. We went down the block and got Nicecream instead which had top tier service. Looking back it was probably a red flag the restaurant had no customers in it.

The place is small but looks cozy, staffs are very friendly and welcoming. However they messed up our order couple of times, wrong drink, and my main dishes were very late served, basically my friend already finished the food I just got my food. The place is not even that full or busy. Of course they apologized but it doesn’t help the overall experience. Good thing is that the food is very tasty. It’s not typical Mexican style that has great amount of food that makes you super full afterwards, therefore, a starter is suggested.

We sat down after walking through the Saturday market just next to it. The place is cute and colorful. The waiter was very nice, but they were heavily understaffed, so it took over an hour from we came there to the food arrived. My girlfriend ordered three tacos and asked for which filling she should choose, to which the waiter said that we could choose three different fillings for only 50 cent more, something that the menu didn't say. So I dedinitely recommend doing that. The other dish we had was enchiladas. The presentation was ugly and it swam in tomato sauce, but it was quite tasty. Nice latinx music when they put it on outside around 16.

Great for couples, kids, or group dining. We started with the loaded nachos, which are a MUST. For our main course, we got all of the tacos (favorites were the two tacos with seitan and the tempeh, but all were great). Very well-spiced and delicious sauces! We also got the enchiladas, which were good. Kids enjoyed the kids menu nuggets, fried, and salad. For dessert, we had their loaded churros as well as regular churros. Both were incredible! The banana cake was also good, but be prepared for a more artificial banana flavor vs banana purée. The restaurant owner was very kind and positive. We will definitely be back!

I recently ate at Tastebuds and it was a fantastic experience. I was a bit hestiant to go because it looked like the typical vegan junk food, beyond burger and such, but it turned out that everything is homemade with mostly local produce. The owner knows his way around the kitchen and nailed the flavor and texture of all of the junk food favorites. I highly recommend the burgers and the cauliflour wings, but you can't go wrong. Evertying is fresh and made in house and delicious. The restaurant is in a nice plaza with a great atmosphere. The interiour is spacious and modern. There isn't any vegan propaganda on the wallls and you wouldn't know the food is vegan unless you asked. Kevin the owner was working during my visit, and it was clear that her cares a lot about his buisness because. I highly recommend Tastebuds!!!

The place was nice and the food was OK. We were there on a Saturday morning and there seemed to be far to few to service the customers. Took about 30 minutes before we got our breakfast. We saw the food was ready on the counter after about 20 minutes, but it took another 10 minutes before a waiter had time to bring it to our table. We also ordered an extra coffee but never received it. The place could be nice if they staffed up some.

The servant speaks perfect English and is super nice. The cappuccino pics I saw on Google appeared to be way better than what I got. The milk foam was straight bad. Food was great but quite expensive. Overall still good experience.

Lovely place for lunch, with fresh products and good value. We enjoyed the burrata toast, salmon toast, and bread and soup. All delicious and the presentation is great. The matcha latte and lemonade were refreshing. We appreciated the fun plates and decoration. Great place to be people watching. They also sold pastries, which we have to come back for. There’s quite a long queue, so be prepared to wait in line, as they do not take reservations. Some queue management would be the only tip, since it results in quite a lot of people in the store while having lunch.

Really popular café even when I came early around 9 am, there was already a line. Coffee was great and the pastries were amazing. Staff were super friendly. I first ordered the smoked salmon dish, but they’d run out, so I switched to avocado toast. When I got back to my table, they let me know the avocados hadn’t been delivered yet😂😅, so they gave me pastries instead 4 pieces! A bit much for me, but honestly, so tasty I didn’t mind at all.

An absolute must-visit for anyone in Antwerp. 100% lived up to the hype. Service and vibe are both excellent, and a wide range of pastries on the menu. Oat milk being the default for drinks is also a nice touch! My favourites are the Black Sesame Bun, Salmon Toast, and Iced Matcha Latte.

I'm curious, given your breakfast sales, why is the bread so stale? As a bread lover, this is really frustrating. Even one of the cinnamon rolls was cold. For the food alone, I can only give it a two. Everything else was pretty good.

Pastries are really nice and more unique than the usual selections at most cafes. The pistachio cruffin stood out to me because it is not greasy at all. I’m especially impressed by the fact that they are all plant based and the best plant based pastries I’ve had. Would return again to try more. Had mango match and it was not bad. Came here at 10am on a Friday so there plenty of seats and no queue.

Lovely dishes and a great experience. I have extreme dairy allergy so it was a very nice experience for me specially. We tried the whole menu and everything was wonderful. My personal favorites were the seasonal truffle toast and tahini cabbage.

As a non vegan person i had a great culinary experience this evening. With 3 person we had like 7 different dishes and the two desserts. I cannot really say wich one i like the most because every drop on every dish had his own taste. The kohlrabi with the carrot dipp was a big surprise for me and Lucky i still take the bread with feta so we had something with a little spicy taste. Salamat, you will see me again.

The seasonal menu is creative and full of flavor—highlights for me were the cucumber with seaweed, chili, lime, and coriander, plus the truffle toast with smoked olive oil. Dessert was a standout too, especially the peach with cream and lime-seeded crumble. A glass of smooth Primitivo made it all the better—refined yet relaxed dining at its best.

I like vegan. I eat meat so I'm not a vegan at all. This is not relevant. The food was good, the wine to expensive for the quality. The service was incredible rude. I mean, just awfully and I usually don't really care much. The menu, just sharing plates independent of how many people at the table. On the expensive side but still ok. She even brought a complimentary dessert for my Mother since we were celebrating her birthday. The atmosphere was also nice and almost interactive as the kitchen is wide open and situated in the center of the space. The chef/owner, Karen Shu, was present and preparing all of the dishes with little assistance for the 20+ guests who were present throughout our time. It was inspiring and exciting! Veganation is one of the coziest and most heart-warming restaurants in Antwerp. As many reviewers have pointed out, it’s a nonprofit initiative that runs entirely on donations from its guests. Veganation restaurant in Antwerp offers a unique experience, operating as a charity. Expect to be served a surprise selection of 5-6 courses, as there is no fixed menu. The dishes are created daily based on the products donated. The atmosphere is very pleasant and homely. The food is entirely vegan, with some gluten-free options available. We were served by Chef Larissa, who was exceptionally kind and welcoming. However, you might be served by someone else, as the staff consists of volunteers.

Extremely bad food, badly prepared with possibly perished ingredients. The taste was awful. The waiter kept bringing plates, without explaining anything, one worse than the other. No water was served. As dessert, ice cream which visibly been unfrozen and then frozen again. This might be for free, but it is a potential health hazard. PS: I have now received a reaction from the owner, who claims I might not have visited the right location because nobody else has complained (yes, I confirm I was there: trying to be polite, at the beginning I tried to eat all I could despite not enjoying it, but after I tasted the meatballs, I just couldn't). Obviously, people prefer not to complain because the concept seems like a good idea, and the food can be eaten for free, or in exchange of a donation (which I gave, out of respect for the people working there). Nevertheless, it is important to warn possible future visitors about these basic issues. Also, please note that I am not the only person with similar experiences, one can just read other recent reviews in other platforms. I really hope the owner can accept this feedback and improve their project.

This spot is completly underated. We were there on a tuesday evening in october. It was not busy so that we could talk to the owner. By the way she told us, that she will give lessons in a school. So that the children can lern, how to cook without any anmimal-products. What should i say: Great tasting vegan menues and a nice selection of biological vines. Furthermore that is no concept, it is the future. We can not go on like we did in the past and this little restaurant is more than the first step. Impressiv person with great cooking-skills. It's a great place for takeaways. I have asked for the pizza baguette which they ran out of. I got the mushroom baguette instead, which was tasty. I have also ordered coffee, the only downside is they only had filtered coffee not the espresso machine. The food was reasonably priced, overall a great place to have a takeaway.

I ordered in advance via WhatsApp; something I definitely recommend doing! Everything is completely vegan. The choice is not huge, but there is a new sandwich of the week every week. I chose a small martino. One thing I immediately noticed is that the small sandwich was really very small, so that is definitely something to take into account if you think you are more likely to get an average sandwich. The sandwich itself tasted great!! I really enjoyed it. I'll definitely be back! I secretly hope that they will expand and that there are plans to be open on weekends in the future. Het broodje zelf smaakte enorm!! Heb er echt heerlijk van gesmuld. Ik kom zeker terug! Stiekem hoop ik wel dat ze gaan uitbreiden en er in de toekomst plannen zijn om in het weekend open te zijn.

When I saw rendang fries and Korean fried chicken on the menu, my eyes lit up — finally, a little Asian flavor among all the Belgian classics. The place was popping when we arrived — super busy and full of energy. Luckily, just as we walked in, a group got up to leave, and my husband managed to snag their seats right away while I placed our order. The wait wasn’t bad at all, especially considering how crowded it was. The only downside? The tables were pretty dirty — clearly, they were too busy to keep up with cleaning between customers. But no big deal for me — I always travel with sanitizing wipes (pro tip 😆), so crisis averted. Here’s what we had: Spicy Royal Rendang Fries — topped with tender rendang beef and spicy mayo. Super tasty and full of flavor! Shrimp Royale Croquette — also delicious, crispy on the outside and creamy inside. Korean Chicken Burger — just okay. The chicken itself was fried perfectly and nice and juicy, but the brioche bun was almost stale — a little too hard and not the fluffy kind it should be. It was very crowded on Saturday afternoon. I got regular frites. And tried all the sauce. Their recommendation was Basil one but I loved the classic. But the homemade sauce was the highlight of this place I think. Fries are also good. Staff are young and friendly.

Totally recommended. Go for the frtittes specials, top notch add-ones and super tasty. Chicken nuggets are good but nothing special. Croquets are OK, but a bit pricey. Well worth the wait, lines can be sometimes intimidating, but service is very fast and efficient! Will definitely visit again!

The customer service is great, and everyone was super nice! The food is great! The fries are very well salted, and the potato is extremely soft and well textured. It almost feels separated from the crispy outside. The shrimp royale croquette seems a bit expensive since you only get one.

I ordered four sushi rolls and a chicken dumpling soup. While the food itself was flavorful, there were a few areas that could be improved. The sushi rolls were decent, though the rice was slightly overcooked, which impacted the overall texture. The chicken dumpling soup was enjoyable and there were a good number of the dumplings in the soup. However, the overall meal felt a bit overpriced for the portion sizes and quality. The biggest drawback was the service. We waited 40 minutes for the four sushi rolls to arrive, which is excessive for a dish that typically doesn't take that long to prepare. Although the manager tried to make up for the inconvenience by removing the cost of one drink from our bill, the long wait significantly affected the overall experience. So, while the food was good, the service left room for improvement. Better efficiency and attentiveness from the staff would have made the experience better.

What let us down was our booking was changed to 1 hour later via email, no call. Luckily, none of our party had places to be that evening. Food was delicious and service was prompt, few drink orders went amiss, a glass was given when a bottle was ordered, but was quickly remedied. Can't fault the food tuna and salmon only shashimi boat was the way to go!

Worst sushi rolls that I ever had in my life. You can see on my account the restaurants where I ate before. They said is fresh tuna inside the rolls with avocado on top : NOTHING. Where is the fresh tuna? Just a spicy filling. Don't eat here. You will waste your money and your time. I added a photo to show the poor quality of those sushi rolls and expensive, same price with the good restaurants.

Not the best sushi in town, but still good. Despite the fact that we waited 40 minutes for the courier (which is okay since we live in the suburbs), the hot sushi was still warm and crispy — I love that 👏. IMO, the nigiri were too small and had a very thin layer of fish, which is a pity because the fish was nice and fresh. They use high-quality ingredients, and it shows 👍🏻. The rice was cooked well — flavorful and delicious. Sashimi were the best, highly recommended 😺. So, I would give this place a 4.5⭐️. I just wanted to say that the 2-person set for 74€ is too expensive, sorry :( It could be perfect for a lower price.

After eating there a lot I can give my full tip review. One of the greatest fresh tasty sushi that you can eat.

I ordered via Uber Eats so I can solely rate the quality of the food. And just for the food, it for sure deserves 5 stars. Definitely the best sushi I ate in Antwerp! The marinated tuna was delicious! Price is a bit higher than other sushi places in Antwerp but you pay for what you get.

Very tasty pizza, not the normal types of pizza you would think but definitely worth the try! Visited the place several times so far and tried different pizza and we were never disappointed : ritmo de la nacho, poulet chasseur, rocket & ham with a twist, little red courgette and give pears a chance - interesting pizza with goat cheese pears and nuts!! Discovered my favorite in the rocket & ham pizza (Belgian raw ham from Noyen, rocket, Stracciatella cheese, Fior di Latte Mozzarella and lemon)

When we arrived there on a Thursday evening there were only 4 other people in the restaurant. When we left 2 hours later there was no place left. Even the terrace (with heaters) was full. The food was different than what you get in the most pizza restaurants so look at the menu before you go there to be sure you’ll find what you like. The staff was friendly but it took them almost 40 minutes to get us our food (we guessed they had forgotten us).

Very fancy hyped up pizza place for hipsters who are too cool for school. I must say the location is great. The service is normal average. This place serves fancy pizzas with original names, but the taste is quite average and the weird combinations are nothing special taste wise The food is quite expensive, but the place itself is quite nice (if you can get in and don't have to wait outside of course). I know much better places where you eat real pizzas without having to be fancy for the sake of being fancy. I'm not impressed, sorry!

The restaurant is very beautiful, the service is good the waiters were attentive, friendly and quick. We didn’t go for the course menu, but just single dishes to share - overall the food was okay: miso Aubergine as well as the salad were good - tasteful and delicious, chicken had a good glazing but a bit too dry, ebi baos were quite small and did not have much apart from the ebi itself to it. It felt like the price to taste ratio was a bit off.

Place has a very nice good look and decoration. We were a group of 10 so we got a big round table and it was perfect. Drinks were good, but I thought I little bit watery. We shared some dishes that were good, specially the rice, was very delicious. Also ordered some ribs, but I felt the sauce was to much and very sweet. The food was pretty tasty. I would definitely recommend the lemongrass hue ( it felt as authentic as what we had in vietnam). The bbq pork bowl was also good but the pork belly had a bit more of fatty parts. The vibe is pretty cosy! Would love to try out some more dishes here.

An excellent vegan choice in Antwerp. The staff is very friendly and speaks English fluently. The fries were delicious and the Burger very tasty and fresh. We also had a veggie soup that was even better! The location on Groenplaats is amazing - what a scenery and no traffic nearby. We‘ll come back to try the cakes.

I ordered at Greenway via Uber Eats so I can solely rate the food itself. There was a deal to get tortilla chips for free when ordering for more than 15 euros so that is what I did. Took some kind of veggy burrito, which was good but not wow. Unfortunately the soup that I ordered was not available and they gave me a salad instead. The salad itself was super small, nothing special but was still charging 5 euros. I was expecting more of this place honestly.

I had a pleasant experience at this restaurant overall. The atmosphere was inviting, and the service was attentive. However, I found the spicy chicken bowl to be overwhelmingly spicy, more so than necessary. While I appreciate a good kick of heat, this dish's intensity overshadowed the other flavors, making it difficult to enjoy. A slight reduction in the spice level would greatly improve the balance of the dish. Despite this, I would still recommend the restaurant for its overall quality and would consider returning to try other menu items.

I made an order for delivery. When they made a small mistake by putting a topping on the pokebowls of cashew nuts they called me immediately to let me know and check if there was anyone allergic. As a former worker at Hawaiian and a customer who returns on a weekly basis, the atmosphere the portions and the food were absolutely impeccable. The day before I had gone to the other of Hawaiian, but sadly the portions were too small compared to what they actually should be especially as a worker However, this atmosphere at the national street Has definitely overperformed their capabilities. Customer service was absolutely amazing, and I will Keep coming back there every time I travel from London to Belgium!

Overpriced and mediocre place with nice decor. The flowers are very fake when you come closer. We wanted lunch but the selection is limited and 21€. We ordered a latte and tea but tastewise not recommended. No cookies or sugar given, even with the steep price tags. Order and payment through qr code with upsells everywhere. Feels like they cheap out while it's very pricey and not thát pretty.

Wow! Such a nice restaurant! Very laid-back and relaxed atmosphere, a welcome break from the busy town center. You get mostly vegan food from the buffet, with some vegetarian exceptions and weigh it at the register, so you pay for what you actually eat. The food is very tasty, we tried almost everything and especially liked the seitan ground "meat" and soy kebaps, just to name a few. There also is a huge selection of pies available as dessert. When we go to Antwerpen again, we will have dinner at Rosenobel again for sure!

This place was recommend by a friend of mine , who is Lebanese in which I went and I had lunch with my partner here the other day , and OMG!- this food was Devine and the service was 10/10 . I would definitely come back here !!!

We were looking for a nice place to eat Lebanese food in Antwerp and booked a table online. However, the reservation did not come through. Even though it was busy, they did their best helping us and we were able to get a table inside and they relocated us to a table outside after 2 hours. Thanks for that! The staff is incredible. They are so friendly, well-behaved and explain all the dishes very well. If you come, you should try the menu where you get 16 dishes. They are super delicious and come at a good pace. I felt stuffed leaving this place though. Best dining experience I had in Antwerp!

Simply excellent!!! My partner and I went for a late lunch today and it was outstanding. Food was impeccable and the service from Sedeb (apologies for spelling) was superb, very personal, helpful, and knowledgeable. Reminded us very much of the cuisine we adore. We will absolutely be back very soon! Many thanks!

Very authentic lebanese restaurant in antwerp , it really tastes like home. Owner and all employees are great i wish them more success !!

Little Beirut is a great Lebanese restaurant in Antwerp. The owners are very friendly and attentive hosts. They warmly welcome guests and, if desired, give a passionate overview of this delicious cuisine. The restaurant has several traditional dishes that can be put together into a delicious meal, to share or per person. They also have a very nice selection of Lebanese wines. The restaurant is cosy and pretty, in the hip 'Eilandje' district. Highly recommended.

Food took 1.5 hours to arrive. Chicken was completely burnt. Charged €9 for tap water. Tourist trap. Do not recommend

What an amazing restaurant. Great atmosphere with perfect service out waitress spoke perfect English. The food was absolutely amazing. Very reasonably priced, I would definitely recommend this little gem!

What a great find! Libanezza has great food, I would recommend the chicken shawarma! The terrace outside is lovely as you are right in the city center of Antwerp. Such good value for money and the staff was lovely. All in all, fun and uncomplicated

Very mid. Nothing really flavorful, the food is edible but nothing special. The bread was not heated, it was just out of the bag from the supermarket, chewy and hard to eat. The meat is the only reason I’m giving the place 3 starts and not 2. The staff is friendly and nice. The restaurant is small but cozy, I liked it.

The place is well located and is clean. The ambience inside is nice. Although we decided to sit outside. The staff is friendly and service is good. The food was good and salsa/salads were fresh. No complaints about the hummus either. Meat was flavorful and marinated well. Chicken was delicious. Although, the meat was slightly chewy and the falafel did not taste fresh. It felt like it was frozen. All in all great place. I am coming back for the okra :)

Great fresh food with a wide vegan selection!! Highly recommend half of the menu is vegetarian / vegan with a brilliant mixed selection. Really fresh food with good flavors.

The bread is really good, would recommend this place .
