The Government Museum and Art Gallery in Chandigarh is a must-visit museum complex that showcases a diverse range of exhibits, including ancient and modern art, architecture, natural history, Gandharan sculptures, terracotta heads from ancient India, medieval metal sculptures, miniature paintings, manuscripts, textiles from across the Indian subcontinent and more. The museum also houses a collection of artwork by renowned artists.
I have finally discovered a treasure trove in Chandigarh. This Government Museum of art and architecture is like a hidden gem which I guess many are unaware of. A friend mentioned about this institution in Sector 10 in the passing and I decided to check this out on a weekday. The building, the presentation, the collection -- it blew away my mind. Basically there are three important buildings -- one is dedicated to Architecture, the other to Natural History and the last one is dedicated to art, paintings and sculptures. Everything is very well placed in spacious halls, very well marked and labelled. At most of the installations and paintings the descriptions are both in English and in Braille. It's so heartening to see the thoughtfulness in even the layout as ramps help in the movements of wheel chair bound art connoisseurs The charges are minimal and you can even ask for a guide. A few hours spent here is just like touching the tip of the iceberg. I guess many more trips to the various sections of the museum should be planned in order to know and appreciate our art, culture and heritage. It was so nice to see a batch of young school children being taken around -- an early awareness will help them mould well. A word for the staff -- very polite and helpful. They are certainly an asset to the museum. Looking forward to many more trips of discovery to this wonderful place

A beautiful place for knowledge, specially for kids. Management is too good and try to explain about entrance and further instructions. Location is good and details information available of human development. Tickets price just genuine. No video allowed. Safety of your language is all done by staff because no language and water bottles allowed inside. Guide available on payments if you are more interested have it.
Vis V — Google review
Nothing unique; just like many other museums all over India about archaeological findings. Well maintained.
RUTVIK D — Google review
Located in Chandigarh’s Sector 10, the Government Museum and Art Gallery is a fascinating stop for anyone interested in history, culture, or art. The museum is fairly well maintained and offers a journey through different schools of art and eras — from Indian contemporary art and Gandhara sculptures to wooden carvings, miniature paintings, and coins from the Mughal and Sikh empires. One of the highlights is the Gandhara section, where intricate stone sculptures depict events from Buddha’s life alongside serene still statues. Entry is priced at just INR 30 per person, with an additional photography ticket (also INR 30) if you’d like to click pictures. Videography, tripods, flash, and extra lights are not permitted. The museum building itself has a raw, unpolished feel inside, which adds to its old-world charm. Plan your visit with enough time in hand, as the collection is vast. Some sections may be closed for renovation or remain empty, but the richness of the exhibits makes it well worth the stop. Facilities include washrooms and a drinking water filter at the back of the building. The museum is open from 10 am to 4:40 pm and is closed on Mondays and gazetted holidays. If you enjoy exploring art and heritage, this is definitely a place to add to your Chandigarh itinerary.
Amaritpal K — Google review
The Government Museum is a treasure trove for history and art lovers, housing one of the most magnificent collections of Gandharan sculptures and relics. The entry fee is ₹30, with an additional ₹30 for photography. Out of the 8 galleries, 6 were open during my visit, and each had something remarkable to offer. Highlights include 18th-century miniature paintings, canons from Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s army, old handwritten Qurans, Gurbani scriptures, and a vast collection of Buddha idols. The Gandharan art section is simply fascinating, and the miniatures are exquisite, though the lighting is kept dim, most likely to preserve these delicate works. The displays are straightforward and the labels are basic, so don’t expect modern museum-style curation, but the artifacts themselves make up for it. The museum is clean and well-maintained, with free-to-use toilets and a small publication counter offering books. A souvenir shop would have been a great addition for visitors to take back a memory. Overall, this museum is an enriching stop if you’re fond of history, art, or culture but if that’s not your interest, it might not hold your attention for long.
Gurinder S — Google review
I explored the lesser-visited sections of the museum and found some fascinating sculptures and paintings. The museum is well-maintained, but some galleries felt slightly under-lit. History and art enthusiasts will appreciate the detailed exhibits.

The international Doll Museum in chandigarh is a delightful place to visit, especially for families and children. It has a unique collection of dolls and puppets from different countries, showcasing diverse culture and traditional attire. The museum is well maintained, neatly organized and very quiet and provide and educational yet entertaining experience. Even the ticket price is very genuine for such an experience only 20 rupees for 1 person and is you want to click photo in there then you have to pay extra 20 rupees. It is not a very large museum so everyone can cover it in maximum 1 hour or so, this makes it a perfect short visit stop when exploring the city beautiful. Definitely worth a stop if you are nearby!

The International Dolls Museum in Chandigarh offers a unique cultural experience, especially recommended for families and those interested in global traditions and crafts. For clicking photos you have shell out 20/- and the ticket is of 20/-. Avg time spent 30 minutes to an hour.

Ok ok place...it will take hardly 10 mins to summarize the place.. of you are a doll lover then only you can spend more time over here... they charge 20 rs extra for photos if you have to click on your mobile... I didn't found it that much worthy.. depends on person to person...

Located inside bal bhavan. It was like haunted place inside, in this INTERNATIONAL DOLL MUSEUM most of the dolls are dirty, few are broken, ventilation is very poor, no air conditioners or coolers were there, water bottles are not allowed inside Washroom was clean but no hand wash provided. Ticket price was 20 rs per head. Not recommended to visit.

we were impressed by the huge collection of dolls from all over the world. it was amazing awesome and exciting experience to see such a unique idea of collection like this. the staff in the museum was also helpful who explained some qualities of the items like sweden and Norway dolls. there was completely cleanliness evrywhere inside the building. There was no dust on dolls even not on their boxes. Thanks the persons who concieved this idea 💡 God bless them all.
Jaspreet S — Google review
Very good place to be with kids. I visited here on International Daughter’s Day with my daughters. They really liked this place. We had very less time to properly see this place but they have a good collection of dolls from across the boarders. We realised that the kids all over the world think same way, they all need someone like them to play with but that someone should be under their control and there comes the DOLLS. Staff was cooperative. They charge very nominal price for adults and free of cost for kids to visit and see the collection and separate charge around 20/- only for clicking pictures. This place is very neat and clean but the collection is not well maintained. It seems like some of the dolls are kept at the same place since years. There dresses are torn off and there hair are gone. By standing there we felt the dolls inside were not taken care of properly and even boxes, rackse were not cleaned. In my opinion the authorities must intervene and allot some regular funds and fix some guidelines for the regular maintenance and updation of this place and also allot some bigger place or expand the museum so that more dolls and kids could be accommodated and can have the cultural exposure of different countries and regions of our country along with our old as well as tribal traditions as well. Overall it was a good place and must visit at least once with kids. Thanks to the staff and authorities.

The place is having representation and actual fossil excavated in Shivalik hills and other parts. Particularly for kids its very informative. Wear a good pair of walking shoes as it is on two floors Not at all crowded the place is very well managed . Buy a pass for photography or you won't be allowed to take photos

It is an awesome place. This museum was formerly known as Museum of human evolution. It is such an amazing museum where you will know how the earth was born and evolved till today, how human evolved and how dinasaurs evolved and destroyed. The sculptures are damn amazing and realistic. A must visit place.
Deepak J — Google review
The Natural History Museum in Chandigarh delivers a thoughtfully curated journey through prehistoric life, evolution, and natural science. It's a highly recommendable outing for families, students, and curious minds. Just a couple of hours are enough to soak in the highlights, but if you're particularly drawn to paleontology or geo-history, you might find yourself digging deeper into the fascinating details. Strengths: Rich and varied exhibits spanning billions of years of life, human evolution, and geological phenomena. Unique cyclorama and tactile experiences make it particularly compelling for families and students. Affordable pricing and family-friendly policies. Considerations: Smaller compared to national museums; some displays are traditional and may lack interactivity. Certain displays might be sensitive for very young children.
Moksh B — Google review
I visited the Natural History Museum in Chandigarh with my family and kids, and we had an absolute blast! The museum is a treasure trove of knowledge, with an impressive collection of fossils, dinosaur skeletons, and exhibits on human evolution. The ancient artifacts and displays showcasing the history of life on Earth are truly fascinating. What I loved most was how educational and engaging the museum is, making it perfect for students and kids. The interactive displays and informative signs kept my little ones captivated, while I enjoyed learning about the region's culture and history. The dinosaur section was a clear winner with my kids - they couldn't get enough of the towering T-Rex and Triceratops skeletons! The museum's efforts to make science accessible and fun are truly commendable. If you're in Chandigarh with family or students, do not miss this gem. It's a great way to spend a day learning and exploring together!

More of a museum for children to learn about earth’s history. Visit if you are interested. Not a must visit place.

Good parking space, well maintained, spacious, helpful people on duty over there, ticket price 30 , photo click ticket 30, entry till 18 years free, there is a citco restaurant called turger burger just outside, Very informative museums, we should take our kids over there
Munish K — Google review
Not as good as it used to be earlier, maybe because it was my second visit here or because renovation work was going-on & some sections on the ground floor were closed. But earlier when I had visited here in 2009, as a kid, I had really enjoyed seeing all those dinosaur skeletons and fossils. They need to upgrade the museum & make it more interactive with the use of latest technology like the ones in delhi. As compared to the National Science centre in delhi, it is really lagging behind in use of technology.

The Le Corbusier Centre, located in Sector 19-B, Chandigarh, was once the workplace of the renowned architect Le Corbusier. It is a historic building that holds a large collection of old documents, sketches, and photos showcasing his work as the city's chief architect. Visitors interested in urban planning, architecture, and design will find this center appealing.
This place is usually less crowded. And it's a must visit for the Art and Design enthusiasts. This is the iconic place where Le Corbusier designed the iconic city of Chandigarh. You get to know about the history and the thought that went behind building the city. Sadly this model was never multiplied in India. The place also has a open garden cafe, a little pricy but decent food.

The entry ticket is very affordable at 20 rupees per person, and if you want to take your camera inside there is an additional charge of 50 rupees. The staff is polite and the galleries are well organized, giving us plenty of time to soak in the details. Overall, it's a clan and enriching experience- perfect for students, architect and anyone curious about chandigarh's history . Highly recommend

I visited the Le Corbusier Centre in June 2025, and it was such a serene and enriching experience. After living in Chandigarh for over 30 years, I was surprised at how much I didn't know about the architectural vision and the incredible story behind the city’s creation until I explored this place. The centre offers a quiet, thoughtfully curated look into Le Corbusier’s work, his connection with Chandigarh, and the planning that went into building the city. It’s both peaceful and deeply insightful and a must-visit for anyone who lives in or visits Chandigarh. Highly recommended!

A museum dedicated to the planning of Chandigarh city. Worth it place to visit in Chandigarh. Original plans and maps are displayed here. Crucial place to understand the concept of town planning in India with special reference to Chandigarh. Entry Tickets: 10₹ per head.

The museum mainly focuses on Le Corbusier, the architect behind the city. There are old drawings, photos, and models that show how much planning went into creating this modern city. The displays explain how the city layout was planned with open spaces and organized traffic. It was cool to see how these ideas were aimed at making life easier and more organized for the people living there. The museum also touches on why these design ideas are still important today. For anyone curious about city planning or architecture, this place is worth a visit.

A great and vibrant experience here. Found so many astute and rare details in the making of Chandigarh. People have a naive misconception that Chandigarh was made so effortlessly. Real story differs a lot. And I encourage you to find out that story and with that the real heroes of Chandigarh.

Lovely place where you get the knowledge about how Chandigarh came into existence, the challenges faced and how amazing architectural brains played their roles to make it the city beautiful

Located within the same complex as the Government Museum & Art Complex, this is a jewel of a museum for those interested in architecture and urban planning. Entry tickets is ₹10/person and another ₹10/person for photography. The museum and its exhibits are spread out over three floors and the stairs are not too steep. I loved learning how Chandigarh was designed by an American and a Polish American duo. Le Corbusier designed the buildings and his cousin Pierre Jeanneret designed many of the furniture still seen from locally sourced materials. The staff were very professional and kept this small museum clean.
Barun G — Google review
Another of the public buildings in Chandigarh designed by Le Corbusier and having a more typical brutalism structure that the neighbouring art museum. The museum contains we hi its explaining the design and building of the city - making it clear that it was far from being to sole work of one architect. The High Court Museum is a pool of knowledge for history buffs that showcases important historical court records from different periods in the country's history. The exhibits include rare stamps and handcuffs from the assassinations of India's Prime Ministers, as well as other significant events.
A truly monumental precinct in vision and execution. Pictures absolutely don't prepare you for the sheer scale of the precinct as a whole or the buildings as individual structures. It was particularly humbling to know that such a singular vision was created by Le Corbusier.
Eric D — Google review
Though still worth a visit, this museum is in need of an update (or honestly, even an enterprising young student willing to re-do the low quality faded graphics). A mix of court history and exhibits featuring the architectural background of the High Court building.
Anna M — Google review
I continue to be amazed at the good ratings people give museums both out of date (this one seems to have 'stopped' in 2006) and visually uninspiring. The descriptions attached to pictures of the inauguration are laughable eg. "At Lunch". Even looking at every meagre offering, a 15-25 minute stay would be generous. This museum has almost nothing in it about the raison d'etre for Le Corbusier's design of the High Court, and only has a few documents and images on the wall relating to historic judgements and changes to the law in its sphere of influence and activity. NB: looking at other guide's reviews, I suspect they are commenting on the actual High Court and not the museum.

High Court Museum located in Chandigarh Sector 1.The history is preserved very well maintained museum. On the approach road to the High Court, the small High Court Museum displays assorted judicial memorabilia including original Le Corbusier sketches, a signed copy of the Indian constitution and several pieces of evidence from notable court cases, including handcuffs worn by Nathuram Godse, Mahatma Gandhi’s assassin. Unlike the rest of the Capitol complex, the museum can be visited independently...

It's a tiny museum which covers the history of Punjab Highcourt from pre partition times, there are also cases of reports of some famous cases of preparation times. Would recommend if you are a partition or legal history enthusiast.

This is a little museum with several little artefacts with great historical significance. If you're a lawyer and interested in the history of Indian judiciary, you'd love the place. The only issue I had was that there was no way to turn pages and look beyond the page they set several books and documents to in the glass display box. I wish they offered at least an electronic display of all the pages. They also had a room where they displayed how a court used to be back in the day, and it was really fun to see.

If you are into bodyweight exercise workout i.e. Calisthenics, this is the place for you.. You can see people starting to come here as early as 4:30-5 AM. There are many varieties of roses grown according to the season. Overall landscape is very well maintained. There is a fountain area as well here which needs to be managed a little better as it's not functioning most of the time now. It's got decent parking, well connectivity and big area. There are functioning public toilets and drinking water as well. Whether you are fond of roses or not, whether it's blooming season or not, this place definitely deserves a visit..

Nek Chand’s Rock Garden of Chandigarh is a mesmerizing destination filled with mosaic courtyards, sculptures, and pathways made from old crockery. This lush garden is a testament to art and culture, offering visitors an immersive experience in its magical artworks. The garden features impressive artifacts spanning from the Middle Ages to contemporary art. Visitors can also explore themed gardens at Leisure Valley and enjoy a boat ride at Sukhna Lake during sundown.
Visiting Nek Chand’s Rock Garden in Chandigarh was an experience unlike any other — a perfect blend of creativity, art, and sheer dedication. This unique garden, spread over several acres, is entirely made from waste materials, broken ceramics, and industrial debris, transformed into mesmerizing sculptures and installations. Walking through it feels like stepping into a world of imagination and ingenuity. The first thing that strikes you is the sheer scale and intricacy of the artwork. From life-sized animals and human figures to abstract structures and winding pathways, every corner of the garden is a visual treat. Nek Chand’s vision of turning discarded materials into something beautiful is not just inspiring; it’s a celebration of creativity and sustainability. One of the most fascinating aspects of the garden is the maze-like layout, which makes exploring it feel like an adventure. Each turn reveals something new — intricately designed bridges, fountains, and miniature villages crafted entirely from scrap materials. The attention to detail in every sculpture is astonishing, reflecting both patience and a unique artistic perspective. What impressed me the most was the story behind the garden. Nek Chand started this project secretly in 1957, and today it stands as a testament to the power of vision, perseverance, and love for art. It’s not just a garden; it’s a living museum that captures imagination and creativity in the most unexpected way. The atmosphere is serene yet playful. Walking through the garden, I felt a mix of wonder, admiration, and joy. It’s a place that sparks creativity in everyone who visits, reminding us that art can be found — and created — anywhere. In short, Nek Chand’s Rock Garden is a must-visit for anyone visiting Chandigarh. It’s more than just a tourist attraction; it’s an inspiring tribute to human ingenuity, creativity, and the beauty of turning the ordinary into something extraordinary.

The Rock Garden in Chandigarh is truly a must-visit. The creativity and effort put into making sculptures and structures from recycled and waste materials is incredible. It feels like walking through an open-air art museum, with every corner offering something unique and surprising. The pathways, waterfalls, and hidden sections make it a fun experience for both adults and kids. It’s well maintained, and spending a couple of hours here is absolutely worth it. A perfect spot for photography, exploring, and appreciating art in nature. Definitely a highlight of Chandigarh and highly recommended.

**An absolute masterpiece!** . The Chandigarh Rock Garden is truly one of the most unique and creative places I have ever visited. Created by the visionary Nek Chand, this garden is a stunning example of art, imagination, and sustainability. The entire place is built using waste materials, broken ceramics, glass bangles, tiles, and other discarded items, yet it feels magical and full of life. Every corner is filled with fascinating sculptures, winding pathways, waterfalls, and hidden chambers that make you feel like you are in a different world. The creativity and effort behind every detail are truly inspiring. It’s a perfect spot for photography, leisurely walks, and exploring with family and friends. The combination of art and nature here is simply unmatched. If you are in Chandigarh, the Rock Garden is an absolute must-visit – a place that proves beauty can be created from anything!

Nice place to go. If you understand art, its a nust visit place. Its peaceful and calm. Try to avoid on a sunny and hot day. Mornings are best time for this place. There is lack of maintenance from administration, i found it a little neglected, there was no restoration of damaged pieces and no repair for broken artifacts. There was a lot of allege on walls on some places.
Rohit K — Google review
The Rock Garden of Chandigarh, created by Nek Chand, is one of the most fascinating places I have ever visited. It is a beautiful blend of creativity, art, and imagination. What makes it so unique is the way waste materials, stones, broken bangles, tiles, and discarded items have been reused to make sculptures and figures. Walking through the garden feels like exploring a completely different world, filled with surprises at every corner, The pathways are designed in such a way that you keep discovering new sculptures, waterfalls, and little open spaces that make the place lively and artistic. It is not just a garden, but almost like a magical city of art built from things people usually throw away. The idea itself is inspiring, and it shows how much dedication and hard work Nek Chand put into creating this wonder, I personally enjoyed the sections where human figures and animals are made from stones and ceramics. The waterfalls and small bridges inside the garden add to the beauty and make it more refreshing, especially if you are visiting during the day. It is also a very popular tourist attraction, so you will see people from all over India and even abroad enjoying the place, The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because some areas of the garden are not very well maintained. A little more attention to cleanliness and upkeep would make the experience even better. Despite that, it is definitely worth visiting at least once in your life, Overall, Nek Chand’s Rock Garden is a symbol of creativity, dedication, and vision. If you are in Chandigarh, this place is a must-visit. It will leave you amazed at how waste can be turned into something so beautiful.

It was my first visit to the Rock Garden. While entering, we felt as if we were going into a cave because of the narrow pathways, which created a lot of curiosity and excitement in the park. The use of broken bangles, ceramic pieces, and old ceramic electric bulb holders stood out, forming artistic monuments and walls. The waterfalls created a natural and refreshing atmosphere. The environment inside was very clean, and for kids, it is truly an attractive and enjoyable location.

The Rock Garden Chandigarh is a 35 acre eco-friendly garden, built solely by home waste and other Industrial items. Sculptures are created using items such as bangles, ceramic pots, tiles, bottles and Electric waste. Garden is a mixture of Landscape, architecture, sculpture and mythology. NEK CHAND, founder of Rock Garden, started creating this garden secretly during his spare time in 1957. The Layout of Garden is based on the fantasy of a Lost Kingdom. It has 14 different chambers like the forecourt. The Teej festival, when the Rock Garden assumes a festive look, holds a special attraction for tourists. MAJOR ATTRACTIONS PHASE 1:- Toilet fixtures, broken glass pieces and broken tiles have been used to create figures of humans and animals PHASE 2:- Once you enter you will feel entering a small traditional Indian village representing beautifully carved huts, temples pathways etc. PHASE 3:- It’s inspired by Roman architecture; swings are hanging for people to enjoy the beauty. Such a horrible college, very disappointed. I applied here for a master's and submitted all the required documents. Then, just 10 days before my exam, I got a call saying I needed to submit my marks again, even though I had already done so. The woman on the call was blaming me and asking personal questions. I even reached out to my previous college to sort things out, but in the end, they still denied my documents. It's clear they don't want students from outside. It was a complete waste of money, and they don't care about students who come from far away. They just don't want to give admission and make excuses. It's the worst college and faculty. People from outside, don't apply here—they only favor their own.

Worst experience in this college. I went there for interview for MFA with all my documents, the office staff and teachers don't even recognise original documents and on the day of interview they had sent me to bring my marksheets from shimla even after submitting them and they had given me one day time for bringing them. I came back the next day with all my documents and submitted them and then also my name was not anywhere in the merit list. It seems like they wanted me to kick out of this list. Worst college and staff, they should not call students for interview or should be correctly told in the prospectous about the documents you should carry. All documents were there with me but then also they refused. They are misguiding students and they want them to run to there colleges on the day of interview to bring documents in one day and attest them so that they will not return so that they can kick them out from admissions. They don't even think that students are coming from far away places seeking admissions in your college, spending so much money in travelling, living and other things. Wasting the time of students, worst college in northern india .No proper system for admissions. They just kick out half of the students without any reason after calling you for interview in chandigarh.

For admission in Masters, they don't consider any other arts related bachelors degree other than BFA and they only tell you that you're not eligible at the time of interview which is such a waste of time & energy. If you don't admit students with any other arts related degree, you should not accept the admission form or call for an interview, which only shows how clueless you are about the eligibility criteria. Very disappointed.

The first floor is made like a guesthouse with 3 different rooms. The charges vary for person to person depending upon their work designation that is Rs 2500, or 1000. for architects and govt officials. Clicking pictures is not allowed. Buy ticket for entry and clicking pictures. The staff guy was helpful and friendly in guiding and assisting around the area. There is a big big lawn around the museum which is home to different kinds of trees like Mango, Peaches, etc. Car parking is done on the side of the road only. There is no eatery. Just a simple museum made in the remembrance and ode to Pierre Jeanneret's design journey in Chandigarh.

Great architecture Experimental house Open designed house Clean and calm place Good location With steel spiral staircase Brick jalli have been used The first ever house built in Chandigarh was that of Pierre Jeanneret. The home of the city’s first chief architect is located in Sector 5 (no.57) – right opposite the famous Sukhna Lake. Today, this home serves as a museum and tells the story of Jeanneret’s creative genius. Pierre Jeanneret house Chandigarh If you’ve ever wanted to live in a museum – then this is THE one! In this sweltering heat, the house remains cool owing to its high ceiling and stone-wall exteriors. Well, one can always take ideas for the ideal dream home from here

Thoughtfully designed exhibits in a well maintained building! This was a highlight for us and a must for the architecture and planning enthusiasts visiting Chandigarh. Took us about 30 min, but it a was very interesting 30 min! Also, the rumours that you can stay here are true! We didn’t try it but apparently it’s about 2500r per night (you can see the available rooms in the photos of my review).

Serene place unfolding the pages of history of our beautiful city. PIERRE JEANNERET has contributed to the urban morphology of Chandigarh as deeply and widely asLe Corbusier. From 1951 to 1965 he was the anchor of the creation and development of Chandigarh with his legacy continuing to impact the city till date through the young architects he trained with extreme patience and devotion. He stayed on in Chandigarh as the Chief Architect of Chandigarh from 1955-65 and, the Town Planning Advisor to the Government of Punjab during the critical period when the city was still largely under construction but the other members of the The Capital project team had left. He successfully bore the herculean responsibility of coordinating and managing the completion of works of Corbusier most notably the Capitol complex, whose basic drawings came from Paris while Jeanneret worked out an astounding amount of building details and oversaw the daily construction work. As a prolific designer, he evolved his own vocabulary for the majority of government housing stock, several civic buildings, schools, hostels, and university buildings and some private residences. Jeanneret's furniture was a true manifestation of the spirit of Modern Architecture - uniquely made out of indigenous materials and techniques.
KDK — Google review
Pierre Jeanneret designed a home for himself located in Sector 5, maintaining close proximity while working a one of the leading architects in Chandigarh alongside Le Corbusier. The building has since been maintained and converted into a museum spanning 2 of 3 stories, with the third being used as accommodation. There are strong passive elements in the design and choice of materials, prioritising airflow and harvesting natural light whist deterring direct sunlight. The masterful technicality is juxtaposed with playful, experimental forms and colour creating a tactile and visually interesting experience that I would highly recommend. The content of the museum is unfortunately overshadowed by the beauty of the structure. Images and information were scattered throughout the first floor and easily overlooked as there wasn't much structure to the displays. There was an over lack of uniformity to the museum as it was initially unclear to us where the museum started and finished. When ascending to higher floors, we were abruptly stopped from entering the third floor due to it being used as accommodation, this information that would have been useful before entering.

The Indian Air Force Heritage Museum in Chandigarh is an absolute gem and a proud tribute to the rich legacy of the Indian Air Force. Located in Sector 18, this beautifully curated museum is a must-visit for all age groups, especially for history buffs, aviation enthusiasts, and families with children. The museum offers a fascinating glimpse into the evolution of the Indian Air Force, showcasing a vast collection of historical aircraft, aviation gear, uniforms, weapons, medals, and real-life war stories. The life-sized aircraft models displayed both indoors and outdoors are truly impressive, including iconic fighter planes and helicopters used in past wars and peacekeeping missions. What really stands out is how interactive and informative the entire experience is. The museum uses a mix of digital displays, touchscreens, audio-visual presentations, and well-written plaques to explain India’s air defense history in a captivating way. There's also a VR zone and flight simulators that let visitors experience what it feels like to fly a fighter jet—a major hit with kids and young adults! The museum is exceptionally well-maintained, clean, and thoughtfully organized. The staff is courteous, and entry is free, which makes it even more welcoming. There's also a lovely souvenir shop where you can buy Air Force-themed merchandise like caps, badges, mugs, and models. The patriotic vibe and the heroic tales of bravery highlighted throughout the museum leave you feeling inspired and proud of the Indian Armed Forces. It’s not just an educational experience, but also a deeply emotional one. If you're in Chandigarh, make sure to visit this museum. It’s a perfect blend of history, technology, and national pride. Highly recommended!

We recently visited the clinic and purchased a hearing aid for my mother who is 55 and I am delighted with the experience. Dr. Preeti provided expert guidance with an exceptional balance of professionalism and a warm, personal approach. Throughout the process and even after the purchase, the whole team including the coordinator (Sweety) made us feel valued and handled the queries/concerns well. We never felt like mere customers. I highly recommend HearClear for their commitment to excellence and genuine concern for their clients' well-being. Kudos to a team that truly makes a positive difference.

At the age of 70 plus and after wearing hearing aids of 8 different brands -other than Signia brand-two of them with additional CROS also in last 32 years ,it is for the First time ,that ultimately I fell in love with Signia hearing aid -CIX3 with CROS at Hear Clear ,Chandigarh , a home like, neat and clean place with sweet and welcoming gestures by the Patient Coordinator -Ms Sweety just on our entry at the reception.Credit for selecting this best hearing aid suited to me and making me convinced goes to the unparalleled audiologist Ms Preeti Sharma..I purchased it on 24/07/2024 on being fully satisfied after very competitive ,highly professional and expert in her medical field Ms Preeti Sharma's minute and skilled testing ,clinic research ,thinking after understanding me first as a person. .She involved my wife too .She could feel how I felt ,being empathic. .She has patience beyond description in words. She has exceptional social skills in COMMUNICATION. .She clarified all my repeated doubts and unnecessary fears and false assumptions calmly ..She is a very good advisor ,apt in time management and of FIRM opinion. She is the first audiologist to explain me while testing with hearing aid and CROS in my ears that hearing is an involuntary act of perception -hearing is only stimuli sent to the brain but listening is a voluntary act of understanding it by conscious effort ,focus ,thought and concentration required for conversation by playing a music video on my mobile...The blissful joy of hearing well with wearing aids was so intense that three words of an old Hindi song बात बन जाये came out naturally from my instinct -meaning how HAPPY I AM if such hearing goes on .Sorry ,I have to expand my review further only because of my unique problem, my left ear hearing nerve is totally DEFUNCT .No hearing aid possible. Right hearing is moderate to severe and has been deteriorating .My Cochlear Implant in the left ear had failed in 2011 from PGI .None of earlier hearing aids gave me happiness or satisfaction but were considered as necessary evil .No song ever wished .I remember how my grandson ,then 6 years old, who came from the USA really wept when I could not hear him in many attempts despite a good brand Hearing aid with Cros.Once i had to change batteries and wax guards 6-7 times in the USA during a birthday party of my close one.I could not go alone anywhere where some minimum conversation is required .Now a ray of Hope.CROS is not a hearing aid but a microphone fitted in the ear without hearing and a receiver on the other side where the hearing aid is worn. Receiver receives the sound from that side to the better ear .CIX3 IS chargeable.I had read a quote ,long long ago, while knowing more about audiometry that "hearing impaired persons will hear in heavens."I am fully satisfied with the machines ,noiseless and a ray of hope. The name Hear Clear ,has deep insight in it and proved/may prove to be heaven for me.My wholehearted gratitude to Preeti ji .I dared to attend a meeting of Bharat Vikas parishad next day after trial on 17/7/2024 ,without CROS then, after a gap of 20 years .Enjoyed but thought CROS is also necessary..Ms Jasmin is also very calm & courteous .She tested my ear and the aids well and smilingly in the absence of Preeti ji .The best place In Chandigarh for any hearing aid is HEAR CLEAR.,dealing only in Signia ,all earlier dealt in many brands. My wife is also thankful to Ms Preeti ji as hearing TV with low volume keeps her comfortable... .Best wishes. Greetings of the day. I consulted this clinic for my father's hearing issues.Mr .Sourabh Kumar Clinical Audiologist examined my father. Briefing about his key excellent points 1. His punctuality , coordination .(Time management is life management) 2 With due respect ,dedication he tested his hearing, handled queries with solution .(patience matters specially to the very old patient) 3.He gave sufficient qualitative time for demo trial .(patient satisfaction is his first motto not buisness .) 4.For years together he was not willing for hearing aid but with all efforts of him and his team he agreed to buy hearing aid which was according to his hearing betterment. ( Giving quality of life is Godly blessing to the receiver and of course to the service provider) On the same note thankful to Sweety Mam who also coordinated well to fix appointment and fixes the visit of Mr Sourabh. On another note, if you're navigating the often complex world of visa applications, Travel Tip is here to help! Many travelers have shared their positive experiences with this consultancy.
Very professional, polite & cooperative staff. My visa to Canada was refused 4 times & on recommendation from my friends I approached Traveltip, they understood my case, since my case was perfact for supervisa, Mis Tusharika of Traveltip suggested me for supervisa instead of temporary visitor visa. After that Mis Partha of Traveltip Chandigarh office & Mis Anu Sondhi of Jalandhar office did commendable job in providing me with all professional advice & flawlessly presented my case before Canadian Embassy for supervisa. Colours of Holidays, arranged a trip for a group of 6 of us to Ladakh in October 2021.. I must say it was a awesome holiday..The best part of this company is that, we were based in Goa ..nd all the communications and booking were done over the phone...we had no hassles at all.. On the ground in Ladakh , there was a representative, who took extremely good care of us..colours of holiday ,customized the package for us, and it was really reasonable. We had to make a lot of last minute changes during our stay ,in Ladakh including cancellation of hotels and rebooking new ones. .But the company took good care of us. Devender the proprietor of The Company is a gentleman. . A very accommodating personality and a thorough gentleman. Cheers to Colours of Holiday. .they make holdiays memorable Shane Fernandes Goa

Kala Sagar is a unique and creative place in Chandigarh that showcases the best out of waste, particularly sanitary elements. Although it's not fully completed yet, visitors can marvel at the beautiful creations made from waste materials like toilet pots, tanks, and pipes with plants growing in them. This unconventional garden is a testament to creativity and sustainability, offering a surprising blend of greenery and artistry.
Really unusual little sculpture garden. The owner is very friendly and helpful and arranged for someone to let us in when it was closed :)
Rachel S — Google review
I bow down to creativity. The place is a brain child of innocence, creativity, and best out of waste. Although, it is not yet completely made. Well, that's what the helper staying there said. There are different types of beautiful things made with waste sanitary elements. Like toilet Pots, tanks, pipes. All of these are made up with great mind and there are plants planted in it. There is no washroom available, here. Since it is still unmade, it's not completely open for visiting. Photographers & videographers can sure go and capture the creativity of the place in the midst of Chandigarh- the city beautiful.
Prachi J — Google review
Such creative places can only be found in Chandigarh. To my surprise, this garden is made from sanitary waste material and yet it is so beautiful. Apart from rock garden, its made from specifically sanitary waste like toulets, flush, etxc. Never knew anything like this coukd be resued. this is tiny, cute and colourful. Its the best utilisation of waste with everything turned into beautiful pots and flower pots. You can experience greenery and creativity both at the same time. Its still under construction, though. There's a bell outside that you need to ring when you visit it. A lady will open the age and you can go inside. This is still in process, so you can visit after its done. A very good and unique attempt.
Sakshi J — Google review
It's a newly built. Visited in April 2023. Few people knows about it. It is yet in developing phase. Everything is made of sanitary waste (Pots, washbasins, tanks). Will be good place to learn & have fun, once it is fully complete. Go by Google map. It shows exact position. Although it's on opposite side of sector 42 stadium nearby atawa chowk.
