Not a great experience at all at pal dhaba mohali outlet. The chicken was not fresh. Do not recommend this place. Please visit the Chandigarh branch. This place does not serve anywhere close to what is served there.

Half tandoori chicken cost me 300, and just 5 small pieces came. Food bloggers have created unnecessary hype, but the taste is not worth the high price. I would say it’s better to cook at home rather than coming here. If someone wants to have chicken or dinner and is in 3B2, don’t go to this place, remember that. Look for some other dhaba instead. The owner is good but seems quite busy managing Diwali shopping. However, the staff is rude and lacks basic manners while dealing with customers. The food was served in an improper manner & cold food, with a lot of arrogance.

Its 4am I am writing this review aa after having their food at night I was not able to sleep for a sec. I don't know whats the hype about the pal dhaba, food had no taste, unhealthy ,overpriced. You are taking 250 for per plate chicken and it consists only two small pieces, seriously? Not only that I have suffered food poisoning after having their food at night. Whole night I suffered. If it get worsen it will be your fault.

We had ordered a veg order kadhai paneer rice roti and but they delivered chicken and naan order. After that they dont even acknowledge their mistake that correct order has not been recieved.

Its ok ! No extra salads they will charge for it. food quality is good but quantity is low. Prices is pretty much expensive. Good sitting on ground floor but underground sitting is poor which is not looking cool.staff is good n helpful. You can go with your family or friends. 👍

I had lunch at Virgin Courtyard and tried their half-and-half vegetarian pizza, which was absolutely delicious! The crust was perfectly baked—crispy on the edges and soft inside—with fresh toppings and great flavors on both halves. It was well-seasoned and satisfying. I also had a mocktail, which was refreshing and well-balanced, not too sweet, just the right mix of flavors. The ambiance of the place added to the experience—calm, cozy, and perfect for a relaxed meal. Overall, it was a great experience with good food, a lovely setting, and quality service. Definitely a place worth revisiting!

The place is great in terms of food and ambiance, no cap. But the price they charge is exorbitant and their quantities are miserly. So while I'd reccomend this for an anniversary/special day, it is simply not feasible for regular dinners.

Amazing Italian restaurant Nice place for couples and families to dine in

Last week, I had the pleasure of dining at Virgin Courtyard, an authentic Italian restaurant. Our meal was a delightful experience from start to finish. We started with a thin-crust veg pizza straight from the oven, bursting with flavor. The handmade spinach pasta with white sauce was a true standout, perfectly cooked and wonderfully creamy. The shallow-fried veggie couscous was a unique and delicious side dish. To drink, we enjoyed refreshing hibiscus tea. The ambience and interior of Virgin Courtyard were charming, adding to the overall dining experience. One thing that stood out was the way they served the welcome bread and handmade vegetable sauce, which truly boosted our appetites. One of the oldest chaat shops in Chandigarh. It used to be good but there is a constant decline in the quality of taste & service. The person serving golgappas is very rude. There are many other compromises also due rush. I have stopped frequenting this eatry because there are better options available now.

The taste isn't as such as it is hyped by few. There's no sitting and standing area. You can try golgappa if you want but chaat counter taste and people and everything is pathetic and beggars will be piling up to you all the time

Excellent tiki, whether eaten with dahi n chutneys, with chutneys only or as plain. Very good golgappe, though their signature imli kicked paani has changed now. Problem is that there is no sitting area. Too crowded, so one has to struggle to taken tokens n have ur dish. Dahi paapdi is average.

Good food I had malai chaap and the taste was fine. Some pieces were a bit undercooked. I was visiting Chandigarh for work and people suggested this shop for fast food. Also it has been featured in multiple videos on YouTube. They need to be a bit more polite. The fast food joints which get famous don't deliver on the customer service front and this place is definitely not an exception

The Food is so good here that it sees a huge rush. Despite thay, the system is well managed. One can get their orders quickly. It took me 10 min to get my orders. I am posting pictures below. Visit this place for the nostalgia and good feels and not exactly for food taste. Food is budget friendly but may not be tasty for every palette. cold coffee is overloaded with sugar. Dosa was decent. Omelette was greasy but taste was good. Also expect some waiting time if visiting on a weekend.

Had a great experience with my friend and we had coffee, french toast and finger chips. I use to vist ICH in my childhood in shimla, and had great nostalgic experience.

I had made a dine in reservation at Saffron for dinner for my Birthday, then I was denied the dine in offer for the chef’s curated menu after being told about terms and conditions. But just a month ago I had availed the same offer for chefs curated menu for my Parents Wedding anniversary and it was good but why was it denied on my birthday. Had I not have been given an offer earlier or just would have even got a confirmation or proper explanation prior to my arrival time, it would’ve been okay. Also the waiter didn’t seem to be bothered after I informed of my disappointment and so i walked away to another hotel. The problem was not with the money or the terms and conditions but with the fact that i felt cheated by the restaurant and felt heavily disappointed as it was a special day for me. It only takes one moment to shatter the trust and guess this was it for me.

Visited Saffron on the recommendation of colleagues. It was an excellent choice. We selected both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian set menus and agreed this was a great way to sample the dishes. The kitchen has an open plan area where you can see the dough and the coated skewers going into large tandoors. The food that comes out is fabulous - skilfully spiced and full of fresh baked flavour. Fish, soy and chicken starters were the stars. Service is professional and discrete. A well known singer performed while we ate. Mostly it added to the ambience, although it could be a little loud at times.

Had a fantastic meal at Saffron. Chef Jatinder Singh was exceptional, and he took personal care to ensure that we were very comfortable. I've rarely seen this level of personal service anywhere. The food is outstanding as well.

The dishes were good but was not worth the price of Rs 3000. There wasn't many variety and the hospitality was lacking... Earlier our thought was to go for a`la-carte but individual dishes were about 800 rs each, so thought better to go for buffet. In buffet, there were both vegetation and non-vegetarian. Both were equal in number. 3 snacks, 1 soup, 3 live session (in our case pasta, chaat, gol gappe), 1 rice variety, 3 vegetable dishes, 2 types of chappati, 3 types of salad, 3 types of cheese, 5-6 types of cake, 3 types of ice cream, 4 types of sweets. There was no cold-drink, tea or coffee. It was on extra price.

One of the best experiences!! Had a dinner at Jw Marriott the Brew house / coffe shop restaurant. Wonderful food. And the staff is very courteous and polite. Great service. We are came for specials celebrating My son birthday at JW. And I WOULD LIKE TO SPACIAL THANKS TO CHEF NIKHIL and entire team nicely prepared and served a wonderful meal for us.👏👏👏

I had one of the worst experiences I've ever had at this place. The service was painfully slow, the food was below average, and the staff’s attitude was shockingly rude and indifferent. From start to finish, everything about this visit was disappointing. It was a complete waste of time and money. I absolutely do not recommend this place to anyone — 0 out of 10.

I came here with four friends for dinner. Place was quite crowded as it was the weekend. Music was irritating and the furniture overall looked quite old. Tables were not cleaned properly and used plates were messed up all over the area. Non veg starters were mostly overcooked and gave burnt coke taste. The main course was good and the desserts were of average taste, especially all kulfi flavours were horrible. Overall I would rate it lower than other bbq nation outlets. They need to change their furniture and renovate. BBQ nation outlets in the Mohali area are a better option.

Today i ordered non veg BBQ premium box from this restaurant , my experiencd was very bad and totally wastage of money. Instead of giving instruction personally over call as well mentioning on zomato app cooking instructions section, i received tasteless, burnt and salty food. The staff are a huge part of the experience, constantly circling to replenish your grill and offering a seemingly endless supply of appetizers. This can be both a blessing and a curse; while the service is attentive, it can feel a little rushed if you're trying to savor the moment.

Mr Dalbeer and Mr Vineet both are the smiling face and really both of them gave us WOW service.. It was my Birthday and they celebrated nicely and really they made my day.. Happy to visit here.. Keep it up.

Nice cosy vibes at this restaurant with Jagjit singh Ghazals playing in the background. Multicuisine restaurant serving Indian, Chinese, sizzlers, tea and coffee along with alcohol and mocktails. Mr. Kulveer Singhji was very attentive, kind and gave suggestions knowing that I'm the only one eating.. he was very helpful and heeded to my customizations on my tea. The restaurant is located on ground floor of bridge market in sector 17 chandigarh. Currently undergoing renovation in phases but they have ample space and classy interiors. The service is good and the food is good too. I had the mutton kheema Naan which comes with gravy and the chicken spring roll. The naan had 4 big pieces with generous filling of kheema. This itself would've been enough for a single person but I wanted to take some parcel so ordered the spring roll. Had my tea craving satiated with the delicious ginger tea made as per my instructions. Definitely recommend going here solo, family and in groups.

The Gazal maintains its old charm with the same delicious food, elegant ambiance and friendly caring staff. In 1980s it used to be a status symbol to host a lunch/ dinner in Gazal. I visited the restaurant after more than 35 years and cherished the memories associated with it. Overall an amazing place for having lunch and dinner.

Food was sublime. Mutton was melting at the touch. Mushroom chinese version was great too. Chicken sheekh kabab was so tender. Masala papad was chatpataka.

Love this place... Have visited several times. The food and the ambience here doesn't disappoint. Classy, simple, elegant are some of the adjective i would use. A magnificent overall experience.. And just a side note, do try the Dal Makhni here... It is absolutely brilliant. Also tried the tandoori chicken once and it was so flavorful, charred on the outside and soft on the inside, perfectly spiced, not too hot. This place is one of the culinary giants of the city. One of my favourite restaurants.

I went there with my friend and i had very bad experience with kulcha and chutney, they are serving chutney like mixing red chilli powder and onion with water and chole taste was not good it seems like boiling chana and serve to the customer. They are using Amritsari kulcha as a name but they don’t know the actual taste of Amritsari kulcha. Totally disappointed

It’s like a food court where you’ll order and eat. There are many more places too. I ordered special aloo chur chur kulcha/ naan. It was good. They serve it along with chole and imli khatti chutney. Do try if you are in Chandigarh!!

Exceptionally good food but seating experience is ordinary. In summers, the the coolers & fans blow away the provided paper cutlery. Customers should be served with either plastic or steel utensils that don't blow away while they eat. It really hampered my experience as the paper containers flew away & even made people sitting adjacent to me wondering if i was deliberately doing it. This is something that can be easily worked on and addressed right away. I tried Onion as well as Mix Veg Kulcha. I liked the latter more as onion kulcha felt very basic compared to it.

Recently visited here for trying some kulchas. We tried the paneer garlic chur chur kulcha with lassi. The lassi was good and same for kulcha. Service js good, kind of them to keep a cooler in this scorching heat. Great initiative. Loved the experience.

Excellent service, very delicious kulcha, it is definitely worth the hype. I have been coming here since years and the taste has been same as always. The best point is the quality and taste of the kulcha, I will recommend aloo chur chur naan and lassi. I am in love with their service, always Mr.Vikas, and other staff help in enhancing the experience always.Their chole and chutney are outstanding. Anyone coming to chandigarh must visit this.

I recently visited Amritsari Kulcha, located behind the BP petrol pump in Sector 9, Chandigarh, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The quality of the kulcha served was far below expectations—arguably one of the poorest I’ve had in the tricity area. In fact, I’ve had much better taste and authenticity from local roadside vendors. This establishment claims to offer Punjabi cuisine, yet it seems to lack the cultural and culinary understanding required to deliver true Punjabi flavors. It is evident that there is no Punjabi representation in the kitchen or management, which reflects in the preparation and presentation of the food. In all sincerity, I would recommend others to explore alternative options, including trusted roadside stalls, for a more genuine Punjabi food experience.

Visited on 28.09.2025 with wife. Found running in Unhygienic conditions, parked vehicle. 5-6 blue plastic drums were lying besides dhaba for used plates etc, were full of bad smell. Shown to person managing counter. He agreed. Horrible!!!! Though food was tasty. They have another booth besides Ch Exp - making Chanas in big Kadae, which was very dirty from both outside/inside, place was being used as godown, totally filthy conditions, nobody wore gloves, apprehensions of customer may fell ill on consuming in such worst conditions, full encroachment in parking area giving very bad impression of much hyped concept of “City Beautiful” seems hands in glove. Authorities. Should conduct surprise checking, especially on Sunday & shoul stop bad practices. Bill was not given, evasion (though no clear proof) must be checked.

Had a good dining experience at Swagath. The food was delicious. Service although good, could be improved. The ambience is pretty good. Prices are on the higher side, but the quality of food can justify the prices. Overall a nice lunch.

Swagath restaurant has lost its charm! During 2010 it used to be one of the best of the best. Chicken Hot & Sour soup was good. Never knew afgani chicken is all cooked in cream and white in color! Ordered Hyderabadi Biriyani but got the worst Moradabadi Biriyani! Prawan garlic noodles were all a disaster, tasteless, fried hard to chew prawns! The manager listened but said this is the only way they prepare Hyderabadi Biriyani, ridiculous! But he suggested some replacement, I asked for Alu Gobi masala & Butter nan which was good. Thanks to Mr Lawrence & Anil for their understanding but they need to be serious enough for the way they prepare the dishes. Hopefully they might be serving good south Indian delicacies!

Had a great experience at Swagath. Great customer service, massive menu, not joking they literally have a huge booklet. Takes some time to think what one wants to order. Though everything was perfect. Ordered veg kebab, Afghani chicken and paneer makhani. All of it was just perfect. It's served, or self service whatever you prefer. The food is served in quick succession so you are not left waiting either. The only downside would be the prices, a single butter roti costs like rupees 65 which is quite high, which is something even the great taste can't justify. All in all a satisfying experience except for the hit on my wallet. A must try if you like high end restaurants. Would definitely love to try the other items on my next trip to North India.

It was a Saturday afternoon when we we visited Elante mall. Expectedly there was huge crowd there. More so in food court area. There were big lines on the counters of self service outlets and also long waiting for restaurants entrances. Fortunately for us, Swagath restaurant had a few tables available. We had visited Swagath restaurants at other locations including Madhya Marg, Sector 26, Chandigarh and we were sure of their food and service quality. We ordered Malai kofta and Dal makhani. The service was slow due to overcrowding but we got our food and came out happily.

There were a lot of Indian dessert varieties to choose from. It's a pity they don't allow to take pictures and videos inside. I was stopped midway when inwas taking videos so I could show my wife what are the available choices. It would have been good marketing opportunity to let their customers share in social media. Restaurant was full when I went in. I guess their food is that good to be filled by customers. Their sweets are excellent. Though i find the sweetend nuts to be too soft. It has lost its crunchiness. I was expecting it to be caramelised. Sweet coating outside crunchy in the inside. Overall their sweets are highly recommended.

I have visited this place after 5-6 years, have got sweet memories of this place. The decor now is better. Taste is as good as before, tried Dahi Papdi. There was live singing this evening, and singer was having soulful voice. He made the evening better. Over all I liked the old vibes more than current one, may be because that time there was limited options and this restaurant was like undisputed king. Still owners has kept the soul of the place alive.

The dining area had all the kitchen fumes , no exhaust , too noisy place with zero hygiene . Food is served in poor scratched melanine black cutlery. The kids zone was extremely dirty with dirty floor mats to dirtiest swings. Photos attached of every statement being made by me . The food tasted so bad . The uttapam was too salty and not at all tasting like uttapam so was the case with hard idlis. There was poor customer service . Very less waiters nd staff to cater to you . Half the menu was not available including very basic like coffee .

Oh what amazingly delicious food . We tried Afghani chicken , cream of mushroom soup, subj biryani, sizzling brownie with ice cream and every dish was well presented and savoury. Portion sizes are good, prices are a bit on the higher side. We came across this place on a short visit to Chandigarh but we will definitely relish the flavours and recommend the place.

Most shitty place , u wait for half an hour for oliy , cool, dishes , not worth , chicken dishes are the worst in the town , u can get better on road side eateries. Staff us unresponsive . A good fine dining space. Had non-veg soup, murg lahori kebab, paneer lababdar with roti & egg appam. The paneer lababdar was semi in gravy and really good. The starter and soup and egg appam were also pretty good. The service was really good!

Well i order or dine regularly since pashtun was Khyber but today I am very much disappointed with an issue which I would like to get in notice with the owner! Today i ordered a butter chicken and while payment i came to know that the price is being increased. That happened many times in past, not an issue and completely understandable but the quantity I've received is almost reduced close to half! And when I tried to call the restaurant, nobody responded properly

Dining at Pashtun Restaurant in Chandigarh was a memorable experience! The food was absolutely amazing — rich in flavor, perfectly spiced, and authentically satisfying. Every bite felt like a celebration of North Indian cuisine. The ambiance added a lovely traditional touch, and even though the service was a bit slow, it was understandable as the place was quite busy. I’d suggest they consider hiring a few more staff to enhance the overall experience. That said, the team was polite and did their best to manage everything with grace. Truly a must-visit spot for anyone who appreciates good food with a traditional vibe. I’d happily come back again!

We came at this restaurant for lunch with friends and family but I was highly disappointed as there were lots of mice disturbing us all the time with their noise.Although we didn't see them but they were near A.C.pipes continuously making noise.We complained about the matter to waiters also.,It disturbed us and couldn't enjoy the food.

Dining at PASHTUN RESTAURANT was a delightful experience from start to finish. The food was exceptional, the staff attentive, and the ambiance was perfect for an amazing lunch with melodious live sitar, The owner Mr.Sanjeev Verma was there during that time and I really appreciate how they totally dedicated towards the service and hospitality.

I used to really like this place until I ordered the raan. It smelled awful, like the meat was wrongfully sourced and then it was over spiced to hide that fact. I ate some of it and felt something wrong. With the beer while I ended up eating more.. I felt really yucky whole evening. Felt awful about paying so much for such a disastrous lunch. I really used to like the place.

We ordered agli olio and cold coffee, the coffee was nice but the pasta was sadly very very bland. No flavors at all but the vibe was really good.

One of the best places which serves great quantity of food along with the best quality. The food portions are sufficient for two people and they taste great as well. My recommendations would be to go for 3 cheese alfredo pasta, red velvet cake along with any pizza. The ambience is great too. An amazing place if you want to dine out with your family or friends. It is a must visit if you're in elante. Update - they are running 1 + 1 on a special menu on Monday and Tuesday. We tried burrito bowl, its was really good.

Great ambience, great place to sit and talk while you sip their amazing drinks. Food is also great, very tasteful and gorgeously served. The only downside I experienced was the service was really slow, I don't know if that was something that everyone experiences or only happened with us.Love the food, the ambiance. Their Lasagna is a must try, and though I am a vegetarian and I Loved it immensely and even their spinach rice with assorted grilled veggies are a must try. Burger was also simply amazing..!! If you ever in Chandigarh, you must visit this place esp the one in Elante..!!Absolutely brilliant food.. amazing location and a great end to a very exhausting day while in Chandigarh... do visit once and relish the magic in the hands of Chef Veer Goswami... 1200 for a meal for two minus any alcohol and came back with a big smile on my face.

Had an amazing time here! The food was absolutely delicious. The Spicy Veggie Sandwich was packed with flavor, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of spice. The Spaghetti Aglio e Olio was simple yet satisfying, with a wonderful garlic kick and just the right amount of seasoning. To top it off, the Masala Tea was the perfect warm, aromatic drink to complement the meal. The atmosphere was truly the highlight of the experience – cozy, welcoming, and vibrant. Nostalgic dinner with good tasting food. Service is wonderful, and the place is cozy. Menu is multi cuisine. Homemade ice cream is a must try. Try khichda and keema bun. Parking outside can be a little hassle on a weekend. Pricing is moderately expensive, but the portion size is decent.

Their ambience is very comfortable and cute. They have limited food options in veg menu but the quality of food is very good and we tried pasta which was made with fresh vegetables and it was delicious. They have very well behaved staff.

Recently visited Willow on someone’s reco Nice ambience , prices are little high though. We ordered pink sauce penne pasta , French toast and watermelon juice and our bill was 1500 approx Though taste and portion was good. Overall nice will visit again for coffee !

Very cute and cozy cafe. Amazing ambience. My first time visiting this cafe. We ordered grilled fish(it could have been better) cappuccino, iced coffee, lemon coriander soup, and paneer Kathi roll. Loved the food and the portions were also good. Would totally recommend this place. Friendly staff. Pretty clean and well maintained.

It's my favorite place to go to for breakfast. They prepare everything fresh and it's just perfect. The staff is very courteous and they happily make changes to the dish if you'd like. I usually come here for breakfast or dinner. It's also beautifully decorated so if you want to go out and enjoy a nice meal without loud music you must go here.

A good cosy cafe. It's a nice place to hangout with your close knit circle. They've terrace seating as well as basement seating. You can choose whatever you like. There are variety of food options,in non veg. If you're an animal eater, you can opt for so much. I didn't find much veg options. There but limited. I guess they can be creative with the menu. Apart from that there should be some snack options too. Apart from maida, chineese There must be some north indian stuff too or some street crispy bites. We had kathi roll and chana kulcha. Both were okay. Not so wow menu and food. The staff is exceptionally awesome and well behaved. They're ethical too. The ambiance is good too. Thanks.

This one of the best cafe in Chandigarh. The ambience of the cafe is good. Staff is very cooperative. Here you will get taste and quality in every order. I had The Willow Veg Salad which was yummy and healthy. Huge parking space is available outside the cafe. They have outdoor seating as well. Overall a very good experience.

Excellent South Indian eatry Maintained the quality and taste for 25+ years. Had a family eat out at Sagar Ratna in sec 17 today. Right from Dahi vada to masala dosa to chana bhatura every thing tasted exellent. The sambar and the chutneys were delicious and perfectly spiced.

I ordered 2 dosas and 1 poori bhaji . Both the dosas were sour in taste . The batter was stale . In poori bhaji the bhaji was the aaloo masala stuffing which they used to fill in dosas . One of the staff members was arguing with me the i have 24 years of experience and upu are lying . Then after tasting they changed both the dosas .

I rarely leave reviews, but after my experience at Sagar Ratna, Chandigarh, Sector 17, I feel compelled to share my disappointment. My family and I had some guests over and we decided to have dinner here today, we feel so embarrassed, what I received was nothing short of a nightmare. We spotted something that no one ever wants to find in their food—a bug. Not just any bug, but a rather large one, casually lounging on the side of my plate like it owned the place. It was found in of the onion masala dosa we had ordered. I can't even describe the level of disgust I felt. For a restaurant with such a prestigious reputation, this was beyond unacceptable. The staff was trying to snatch the plate from my father’s hands when he got up to complain so that no one finds out. I left disgusted, and will never set foot in this place again.

Found a Cockroach in the Coconut chutney, had ordered a Rava onion masala dosa, it was in the coconut/white chutney. This photo was clicked in front of the staff. Is staying in the cove for past few days and it has been a overll an overwhelming experience. Mostly Masala grill restro has been very astonishing due to kind hospitality shown to us by Saurabh singh ji during our stay.

Mr Abhishek ( Totu) is very courteous staff of Cove. He gave fabulous and prompt services as per given directions. He even takes good care of hygiene and very polite. We have an anniversary party here.I really recommend his services for any event.

We had lunch buffet at the Masala Grill restaurant. The starters were very tasty and service was excellent. We were attended by Mr. Badri Singh and he was very courteous. We were so full after having starters that we couldn't have main course. We just had desserts and they were scrumptious too. Highly recommend.

This place has such a lovely ambience – really gives off those cozy European vibes. The staff was polite and welcoming, which made the experience better. This was my second visit to the restaurant. I loved the 1st visit. The food was delicious and had amazing tiramisu. Recommended it to so many people after the 1st visit. I am so much disappointed in the recent visit. The food was pretty okayish. The Alfredo pasta signature of casa bella vista was sour. The sauce wasn't good at all. The tiramisu didn't meet the expectations (however that is what i literally went back to this restaurant for). The farmhouse pizza was good. It has a good ambience and vibe. However the food is just average. Good here for the vibe and ambience.

The cheese patty here is their best seller, and it's easy to see why! It’s crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and full of flavor. While it’s more mayo than cheese, it's still delicious and totally worth the price. The lemon soda is always fresh, fizzy, and perfectly balanced. Plus, the prices are very affordable, making this place a great spot for a tasty and budget-friendly snack👍

A Perfect Place to satisfy your cravings of food and beverages.

After placing the regional food of Calcutta on the Culinary map of India, Oh! Calcutta made its way to the gourmet city of Chandigarh. The restaurant is located in the same building of Mainland China in Sector 26, Chandigarh. While the different flavours of other regions of India were always present in some form or the other throughout the country, it was the vision of Chef-turned-leading Indian restaurateur Anjan Chatterjee, who strongly believed that the unique flavours of a 300-year-old cuisine needed to be explored. I visited them a few days ago to try out some of their specialities. The best part was the usage of authentic, sourced ingredients from West Bengal. I started off my lunch with their Banana Floret Tikki, Prawn Cutlet and Calcutta mustard paneer tikka. All the items were top notch. My personal pick had to be their Prawn cutlet. The patty was super flavourful and juicy. Next up, for mains, I had their Slow cooked Bhuna mutton, Prawn and coconut malai curry, Kolkata chicken biryani and Mango mustard okra. The mutton was the show stopper of the afternoon. I had never tried such amazing mutton in Chandigarh so far. The spice level was quite moderate and the mutton quality used was spot on. Pair it up with the Luchi or Bengali version of a poori and you will up for a treat certainly. The prawn and coconut malai curry was another glorious dish which had a very nice flavor of the coconut milk and gondhoraj lemon. Highly recommended. The Mango mustard okra was another dish that stood out of the menu. Very interesting taste. To end things on a sweet note, I had their Steamed mango mishti doi and steamed sondesh. My pick had to be their steamed mango mishti doi with chopped mangoes on the top. The tanginess of the doi was evenly cut with the sweetness of the mango. Overall, I would be visiting them over yet again to try out their Mutton and prawn cutlet. Happy eating.

After a good foot and Head massage felt really hungry so found this place nearby in Sector 26. Cool ambience. Welcoming reception. Great host to serve and guide you in choosing the food. Food was really great, tasty and delicious. Good portion sizes. Selection of drinks is good. Bal krishan and Abhi served with a smile and spirit of excellence. Enjoyed our afternoon meal thoroughly.

Great food, good ambiance, courteous staff is all u can say about the place. The buffet they serve is with msg and the menu food can be prepared without msg. The food taste is awesome especially the eight treasure soup, star fried rice, dim sums, lettuce wraps, lamb in black pepper sauce and general tso’s chicken. Although the place requires renovation but overall a good experience.

Mainland China is my go to place for Chinese cuisine in Tricity. They serve spectacular Chinese food at affordable prices. The ambiance of the place is very welcoming and the staff is friendly and attentive. The seating arrangements are comfortable and spacious, providing privacy for each table. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained. The "Ginger Pineapple mocktail" was refreshing and had a perfect blend of ginger and pineapple flavors. The "Eight Treasure Chicken soup" was flavorful and had generous portions of chicken and vegetables. The " Basil Flavored Vegetables dimsums" were steaming hot, delicious, and had a perfect blend of spices and herbs. The highlight of the meal was the "Mango pudding" , which was creamy and had the perfect amount of sweetness. It was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. Overall, Mainland China is a must-visit restaurant for anyone who loves Chinese cuisine. The quality of the food, the ambiance, and the service make it a great dining experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy delicious Chinese food in a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.

Chinese Cuisine At It's Best !!!!! Visited Mainland China after years galore. However, the experience was as delightful, as ot was on my first rendevous with this Chinese Hub. Relished a galore of dishes which were all flavoured to the Core. A brief on what all I gulped down :- 1. Jiangs Chilli Chicken - Forget the Jiangs & its your typical Chilli Chicken which is indeed full of flavours & would suit any taste bud. The right spices blended together to make that perfect Chilli Chicken which you would always Crave For. Order this & you wouldn't go wrong with it. 2. Chicken Taipei - Crispy chicken served with crunchy veggies with a peculiar taste. It was great. 3. Fish Pepper Garlic - The fish tasted quite fresh. Extremely delicious. Liked the 3Ts - Texture, Taste & Tender. Awesome dish. 4. Singapore Chilli Prawns - I have the love for Prawns. Tried this one & didn't regret a bit. Super flavours there. Prawns seemed of good quality. Loved them. 5. Chilli Garlic Noodles - Medium Spicy. Not much of chillies & garlic there as I was expecting it to be. This dish could have been better, but it was still decent enough. The portion size was pretty adequate. The two of us had our fill & were still left with loads of food which we had to pack. Overall I must try place to lunch or dine in. Loved it & strongly recommended. Regards

The ambience of Mainland China is mesmerising and it gives totally Asian vibes (well, of course). The food is amazing and worth a try! We had Crab Chicken and Dragon Chilli Fish along with Rice and 2 Noodles and it was sufficient for 5 people. The crab was delicious and so was the Chilli Fish. It was all very spicy just the way we love it! You can ask the dishes to be less spicy as well. The manager was kind to us too and very generous. The washroom was clean and hygienic. There is also a Bar with Live Music in the Basement and we could hear the Singer's voice from where we were seated, on the ground floor. We didn't try the Buffet there but it seemed really beautiful and mouth watering! Pre-booking is preferred there as it's almost always packed! A place to go for Asian food lovers!

Excellent restaurant. Always been our favorite!! Prawns Dimsum, Crispy Lamb, Hakka chicken noodles were all 10/10 Best Chinese restaurant hands down in the city beautiful. Will be back!! Feedback on Wine: we hope someone can fix the wine selection so one can order a nice wine. We looked at a Rs 12,000 ($150) Campo Viejo 2021 Rioja / rated a mere mediocre 3.7 star on Vivino available for $8 internationally with a MSRP in Rupees of 1,554 ($18). Felt 8x mark up from local pricing for an ordinary and poor rated wine was illogical. Why would anyone pay $150 + almost 30% and not even be wowed by a great wine say that costs 40 Euro. Note that this was the second best red of the menu!! Food was impeccable and service was wonderful. Met the chef and expressed our gratitude on great food we had. We also enjoyed Shruti's singing. Excellent choice of songs and great voice!!

Food that’s lightly flavourful and extremely light on the stomach. A good variety of starters and main course. We missed the live music that they had a couple of months back. Wish they start it again. The presentation requires some aesthetic upgrades though

Black Lotus has recently opened its door after a brief haitus for a couple of months. The interiors have been overhauled and the menu has undegone a complete revamp for the better. The Menu has been intelligently desinged. All the Veg Starters are pegged at the same price of Rs. 575 and for Non Veg it is Rs. 675. It's the same for the Veg Main Dishes at Rs. 575 while the Non Veg dishes stand at Rs. 775. These prices are extremely affordable and Pocket Friendly and no less than a treat as its a Five Star. We began our evening with Asparagus, Haricot Beans and Corn Soup which was delectable. For Drinks we had Pinee Peach (Peach and Pineapple Juice), Mango Marina (Mango Puree' and twist of mint, Sweet and Sour - this was a complete Winner and a must try), Guava Marry, Watermelon Reference (Watermelon, Lime and Pomegranate Juice), Apple Ryder (Apple Juice with the hint of Smoky Cinnamon), Flavoured Jasmine Tea, Sichuaniska (Mixture of Sichuan Sauce with a hint of Pepper). Moving to Starters we had Mushroom & Bamboo Shoots Salad, Lemon Grass Prawn, Pan Fried Lamb Dim Sum, Grilled Sesame Tofu (comes with a Live Flaming Grill, Must try for the Vegetarians). Each dish was fresh, unique and stood out. Then came the Peking Duck which deserves a speical mention as it a whole meal in itself. Chef Wong came to our table and carved the Roasted Duck right in front us. It is quite a ceremony to watch the Carving of the Peking Duck. The Duck is then served as (a) Roasted Duck Pancakes served with classical accompaniments, (b) Duck Soup and (c) Stir Fried Duck. This is a signature Black Lotus Dish and a must try. We were in for a treat with another signature Black Lotus dish i.e. The Hot Pot.This is a prepare your own Soup/Broth where all the fresh ingredients (Seafood Broth with Prawns, Sole Fish Slices, Chinese Vegetables and Noodles) are placed on the table with a Live simmering Water to Prepare the broth according to your liking. This was a big hit amongst everyone. Moving to the Main Course we had Barbeque Pork Belly (the best Pork Ribs in the tricity hands down, the pork melts in your mouth and the sweet meat is a delicacy, must try), Steamed Fish with Black Bean Sauce (The Black Bean Sauce with the Black Pepper seeds creates a unique flavour), Chicken with Toban Djan Sauce, Egg Plant with Spicy Bean Sauce (I'm not an Eg plant fan but this dish has the capability to compete with the best of Non Veg preparations), Mung Bean Pan Cake with Chicken, Clay Pot Jasmine Rice with Tofu (extremely good), Bok Choy & Vegetables, Egg Wrapped Flat Noodles (Full points on the presentation as the Rice/Noodles come wrapped in an Omlette much like an Egg) with Vegetables and Chicken. Moving to Desserts we had Lava Cake (treat for the senses), Clove Traingle Pineapple with Sweet Chili & Coconut Milk (quite good), Vanilla Ice Cream. I am Bowled over by the Black Lotus Taj experience. I Love finding faults and I'm glad to admit here I found none. A full 5/5 from me. Go and experience the new Black Lotus for yourself.

Attended the Chinese new year feast few days ago. They had a variety of appetizers, main course dishes that did justice to the celebration of the new year. Black lotus is best place for trying seafood. I loved the grilled pomfret, oats prawn, sliced chicken with chilli and vodka. In the main course, I loved the chicken, squid and manchurian. Other items were good too though.they also serve a mango based palate cleanser before the main course which is amazing. Lastly, we were served dutch truffle chocolate cake with bitter chocolate sauce.

Visiting a place where we get a memorable and exciting experience is like a wish come true. I recently visited The Taj and had some of the best dishes at their restaurant. Their Asian style chilly chicken which was cooked with coriander, red chilli offcourse and some spring onion, is a must have. The chicken was so tender and juicy and the spring onions complimented the coriander perfectly. The Asian style vegetables had fried brocolli, baby corn cooked with chili sauce. Really fresh and steaming veggies tasted amazing with perfect amount of seasonings. The Veg Dimsums which had a filling of spinach, garlic and cheddar cheese was something that I still crave for. Soft and juicy with perfectly seasoned filling. The Chicken hot pot made my visit their a worthwhile. It had sliced chicken with Chinese vegetables and noodles steaming in chicken broth. For the dessert part, I tried the Lava cake and the Date pancake. Because pancakes arent just for breakfast! It is my personaly favourite!

The Chinese cuisine at Taj has to be talked about as soon as possible! Ever since I have set on my quest to find great food, it was seldom that the big beautiful restaurants were able to satisfy the hunger I had for good food, I was proved wrong. The food is hits the right chords at the right places while the hospitality is everything I never knew I needed. The interiors aren’t loud and gently whisper in your ear the story of great food to come; and it does come indeed! For appetizer or the Amuse Bouche, we were served Cucumber, gari, basil and asparagus and oh man did it tickle the right places in my stomach! I was more than ready for the food to come! The soup had a nice savoury flavor and felt so right in my mouth. The starters were as perfect as they looked. We got: Kanjee Fried Shitake Wok Tossed lotus stem in hot black bean sauce Pan fried fish with ginger and coriander Chicken tai chin Unbelievably amazing! The herbs and the spices were right everywhere! The Main course had us right by our gullet and we never wanted it to stop coming! Beautiful preparation and equally well tasting food. For main course we had: Mapo Tofu Eggplant Haricot beans and fresh chilli ginger Panfried cheese greens Stir fried chicken with toban dijan sauce Wok fried fish with fresh chili oyster sauce Ginger fried rice Vegetable hakka noodles And a melange of pineapple chocolate brownie and vanilla ice cream for dessert And yes I tried it all! There is no word to describe my experience as it all was beyond what I thought it could be. I just want them to continually and constantly keep up the quality of the food. Special shout out to Mohit with his great hospitality and his amazing way of pouring the soul stirring Jasmine tea! A serious 5 star to Taj and an all the best from my side!

Had a wonderful breakfast at Backpackers Cafe and was thoroughly impressed! I ordered the Veg Baguette, Pita Tacos, Cold Coffee, and Cappuccino, and everything was spot on—fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The baguette had the perfect texture, the tacos were deliciously filling, and both coffees were well-balanced and satisfying. The ambiance added to the experience—warm, lively, and perfect for a relaxed meal. The service was friendly and efficient, making the visit even more enjoyable. Definitely a place I’d return to for another great meal. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quality breakfast spot!

Lovely cafe in Chandigarh! Coffee and food was great, with really big servings. I loved the decor and atmosphere of the cafe which has been thought out well. Quite a large cafe that can host big groups or solo travellers. Service was phenomenal and it seems they are really striving to give customers a new dining experience. Clean toilet and parking close by.

Visited Backpackers Cafe recently. The food was tasty – I tried the pitabuilt, grilled chicken pizza, and coffee, all of which were amazing. However, the entire experience was ruined by the arrogance and ill treatment of the waiter, John Kim. He neither served properly nor even gave water despite asking. It felt extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. Would have loved to visit again for the food, but such rude behaviour makes me rethink coming here in the future.

We enjoyed this place very much: very good menu with different choices, good portions, good quality of food and beverage, quick service. The restaurant itself is very nice with different pictures on the wall about various places in the world. Prices a little higher than other places in India but average for similar places in Chandigarh. We had eggs benedict with salmon, fresh joitucds and coffees: all delicious and filling!

Very disappointed with the "classic omelette" that sounded so nice on paper but in reality was one of the most basic and uninteresting breakfasts I've had in India. It didn't taste like any of the ingredients it boasted. Poor value for money - I don't recommend it. However, their pancakes are yummy and the waffle was fantastic.

I recently visited Oven Fresh and had a great experience. I tried their Garden Fresh Pizza, Alfredo Penne Pasta, and Chicken Sizzler, and all three were amazing! The pizza was full of fresh veggies and had a delicious cheesy flavor. The pasta was creamy and tasty, just perfect. And the chicken sizzler was hot, flavorful, and very filling. Everything tasted really fresh and well-made. If you love good food, you should definitely give Oven Fresh a try. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

I celebrated my birthday there with my friends. It was a nice experience. There was waiting for the though but it was worth it. The food was very tempting as well as didn't disappoint us in taste. Everything was up to mark. Their pizza is very much loaded and mouth watering. I would say it is a must try place. Don't miss it...

We tried four seasons vegetarian pizza it was good recommended to try it. Then we had bbq chicken pasta highly recommended to try it if you are cheese lover. Then we tried mushroom corn cheese pesto sandwich. The portion of sandwich was less comparatively to other dishes but sandwich too good also would highly recommend this to try it out. We had drinks of three different iced tea 1- lemon 2-peach 3-mango According to me i would only suggest to go for peach iced tea only.

So we reached around 6:00 PM at got entry around 6:30. You can order before entering to the cafe as minimum waiting time for order to deliver at your table is 20mins. Timing may increaseor decrease depending upon your order and its variety. (FunFact: We were at table 7 #thala for a reason😉). As we got all the ordered food between 7:00 PM to 7:13 PM. Great Food and Atmosphere. We had to wait 45 minutes to get seating but the wait was worth it. The food was tasty and filling. We tried Pizza, Pasta and Sandwiches and nothing disappointed. Definitely recommend to try if you are around.

One of the best. No match Takes 20 min minimum for order as it's cooked fresh. Keep this in mind before eating here. As almost all dishes have cheese, one can't come here too frequently as one gets cheese aversion. Bruschetta platter was too good. Baked penne arrabiata was good. If one doesn't like too much cheese, then try non baked penne arrabiata. It's a red sauce based pasta. I always find their tiramisu average. Their breads are the best, whatever dish u take with

Visited Social and ordered Bhelpuri, fresh lemon water, and the Aloo Tikki burger. The Bhelpuri had a nice flavor but unfortunately arrived a bit soggy, which took away from the crunch you’d expect. The lemonade was quite disappointing — I had to send it back, and even the replacement lacked freshness and balance. The Aloo Tikki burger was decent, but nothing extraordinary. Overall, a mixed experience — some hits and misses. Hoping for better consistency next time.

One of the best vibing restaurant we went to. The interiors are interesting and quirky. Little ideas for cutlery or sitting bring a smile on the face. Ambience 10/10 if u are looking for loud music. Service : The staff is extremely well trained and receptive. Food : Below average. 1. Wasabi hasbrown Chaat: Poor - no wasabi in it. It was sent back to the kitchen and we received back half the qty and yet very little wasabi. NOT RECOMMENDED. 2. Crispy Corn : Perfect. One of the best. 3. Abra Kebab Platter for 4: PURE CHEATING. A '4 person platter' was ordered and yet paneer tikka and kebabs were 3 each (it wasnt an error from chef) Unsure how they want these to be divided among 4 people. For 750 rupees it was a rip off. Btw the paneer tikka, chaap and mushroom tasted bad. Hara bhara kebab was really good. They have revamped the entire menu. Food used to be great at Social but this time it left me asking for more. Pizza - ultra thin so that it can qualify as a papad. But it was good.

I recently visited this dhaba that pops up on the list when you search for must-try dhabas in Chandigarh, especially since my favorite musician has also been there, so it was definitely on my radar. The ambiance is average—it doesn’t scream dhaba vibes—but the staff was welcoming and eager to share the menu.The food is pure North Indian, and you really get the authentic Punjabi feel from the offerings. We decided to try some of their specialties: lemon paneer and butter chicken. It took a little while for the food to arrive, but the first thing I noticed was the generous portions. 8/10 - The lemon paneer looked delicious and was something different from what we usually have. It was smooth and creamy, topped with a tadka that gave it a rich, appetizing look. However, it could have had a little less of that lemony kick for my taste. 6/10 - Next up was the butter chicken with naan. Unfortunately, it didn’t have the distinct flavor I was hoping for from such a well-known dhaba—it was more like your average butter chicken. They could definitely work on making it thicker and more flavorful. On the plus side, the staff was attentive and quick to accommodate my requests, even helping me pack up what we couldn’t finish. Overall, it was a nice experience with a dhaba-style extensive menu. I’d love to come back and try more dishes to get a better sense of what they offer!

My order was pretty basic but turned out so delicious. One of the tastiest chicken rarha in the city. Butter chicken was pretty buttery and creamy. We're regular customers here but our recent experience was very bad. The quality of food has definitely degraded. We ordered the following food items and the taste was not up to the mark. - Masala chaap - Mix veg - Chana masala In Non veg: - Their Most recommended "Rara Chicken" For example, the biggest No-Go was their popular dish "RaRa chicken" which was not cooked properly. One could easily see the blood on the bones on every single piece of chicken in the gravy. It was also shown to the staff and the manager and they accepted their mistake but this is an eye opener for non-veg people who should check this thoroughly. Most of the times this is ignored as we always assume and unsure of this but this should be taken seriously as it's as a serious health matter. It's a reputable restaurant in Chandigarh and you cannot serve uncooked meat to your customers. This also raises questions on the quality of other meat dishes. There should be some quality check. I mean this is quite basic. Sorry to say but it was a bitter experience. Uncooked meat in a hot gravy is a No go. That's not a dish.

We have visted to deluxe dhaba on wednesday.. We have made payment but unfortunately I forgot to take my card back .. I have had a word with Mr Sohan Rawat ( Manager) regarding this very next day and he made me comforrable by saying that my card is in. Safe hands.. Looking for a place to have good North Indian food , then this place is for you . I loved their starters especially paneer tikka was so good . Do try their special lemon paneer in main course . The presentation and the quality of food is also great . The quantity of food in such a pricing is excellent. Do visit this place .

One of the older dhabas within the tricity who got famous for nothing but their good food. Maintains that classic dhaba feel with a warm hospitality. My personal favourite was their Lemon Chicken which I had with some hot Missi Roti and Butter Naan. The way the gravy comes creamy and tart is what always blows my mind. Even their Chicken Masala and Keema Naan is worth a try!

I visited this place alongbwith my family on 1st Nov 2024. I have known this place ever to serve the best choupsy but to my disappointment the food was so disappointing that had to leave food in between and leave. Never happened before but shangri-la you are done with your food quality. And lost the taste that used to be.

Whoever is the owner/manager of this place should know this: Last night me and my friend were at the restaurant. We ordered white sauce pasta and 2 diet cokes and had the food. At the time of check the staff told us that the online system is not working so they can’t accept card payment. We asked them to give us QR so we could UPI but they said its not working too so cash only. I told them sir if that was the case you could have told us before we ordered, they said they didn’t want to be rude. They told us the bill was 635 without even giving us a printed bill. My friend luckily had cash 500 and they asked to google pay the rest personally to the manager sitting at the counter (his google pay name was thakur thakur). If the system was indeed down, its okay. But if not this whole situation was created by staff so they don’t have to produce the bill and take the cash to themselves instead to the restaurant which is highly unprofessional. The food and ambience was decent though, no complaints in that.

Our family has been going to this restaurant since early 90s- ever since its conception. No doubt it’s one of the most iconic indian chinese places. Must visit and must try. Our go to order- Talumein Soup, American Chopsuey, Shangri-La Special Chowmein and Chili Garlic noodles.

Shangri La Plus is a fantastic place to dine! The food is amazing, with a great selection of dishes. The Dragon Spring Roll and Chinese Chopsuey were absolutely delicious perfectly crispy, flavorful, and well-prepared. The service was also great, with friendly staff making the experience even better. Highly recommend this place for anyone who loves good Chinese food.

Best place to have an authentic Chinese food in tri-city. Tried their Talumein Soup and it was so delicious and didn't find that taste anywhere else till now. Quality & quantity is totally satisfactory. And if talk about ambiance it's cozy & nice. undoubtedly best place to try Chinese delicacy.

I've been dying to try Uncle Jacks! Although I've tried their fries in all the fests but i really wanted to visit their outlet in chandigarh and enjoy their famous fries. Oh my God such a nice place to have some amazing fast food. I tried their food first time in Grub Fest in Delhi and was a big fan of their French Fries and Shakes. Then visited to Chandigarh to taste some more amazing variety. The quantity , quality and price everything is perfect. Just want them to open their branch in Delhi too, so that we can enjoy their meal every weekend. If you are in Chandigarh do visit this place you will fell in Love.

Hiya foodies I recently went to Chandigarh with family and went to this great place. It’s has one of the best fries i have ever had. I ordered the following items- Cheesy fries- which were just delicious 🤤 Orlendo pizza which was tasted different and yummy Mint watermelon injector which tasted more like jal jeera with red color🙈 And last but not the least my favourite The chocolate mud pot ♥️♥️♥️ It was so delicious that i dont have words to describe it.

I had high hopes for MOBE, but it didn’t quite meet my expectations. While the drink selection was decent, the absence of draft beer was disappointing. The popcorn chicken was overcooked and dry. On a positive note, the service was attentive, but I was confused when a staff member in a black shirt (presumably a manager) asked me to switch tables for no apparent reason. It felt off, especially since I was enjoying my time and spending money. I’m giving it one star for now, but if I return, I’ll reconsider my rating. On a brighter note, the live band YUGA was fantastic! And please fix the toilet paper thing from the table. If people spend this kind of money I’d expect proper napkins.

I went today for lunch loved everything live music , yummy food, great hospitality, loved the ambience will surely come again. Very good option for lounge or Night club people. The atmosphere was totally electrifying here and their singer was damm good. Nice interiors and decorations, food was just ok and their drinks were good. Service was really slow as it was completely houseful when we visited so make sure you reserve your table before.

Pretty good atmosphere if you go on busy nights or peak times. Food is a bit pricey for the quality and taste of it. Drinks are pretty good and friendly staff. For a good restaurant like this I expected they will be accepting international credit cards but their machine did not pick that up. Most of other local restaurants worked out fine. Pretty decent place to give a visit.

I visit many times here. Food quality is good. Ambience is also great at night but if you want piece then you should visit before evening. Staff is also great no complaints regarding staff. This cafe holds a special place in my heart. I first visited with someone very dear to me. We sampled a variety of dishes, all of which were incredibly flavorful. On our second visit, while the initial magic wasn't quite replicated, the food remained consistently good. We couldn't finish everything, so the kind staff thoughtfully packaged the leftovers for us. Today, on Christmas Day, I returned to the cafe, though the circumstances are different. That special someone is no longer by my side. Despite the bittersweet memories, I decided to try one of the dishes I enjoyed before. It was just as delicious as I remembered, a comforting reminder of happier times. You should visit this place if you need comfort and good food.

No doubt the aesthetic of the cafe was good but the food was so bad and their service was also not good. They didn’t give us cutlery and even when we asked it took them another 20 mins to get it. Apart from that, the food was also average, the fried rice was uncooked and even the bathrooms there are so unhygienic. I really don’t recommend this cafe. You can find more aesthetic cafes with neat bathrooms and good food anywhere else in Chandigarh . They take so much time to deliver any food, beat, cutlery, spoons, plates, water, highly disappointed.

A cozy place in the midst of chandigarh. Though I didn't liked the coffee that much, but the atmosphere was vibrant and peaceful. The design is terrific, there is so much space in the little room. I really liked the outside view through the plants! Overall a good place to go to for vibes.

The food was ok, not worth going for it specifically. And honestly takes wayy to long to get the food. But The system of ordering and paying is efficient and the vibe is really good So if you want a place to hangout with friends with a few board games or wanna study maby this would work.

Ordered Aam Panna and Creamy Mushroom on Toast. When the food arrived, I wasn’t expecting much—but wow, the Creamy Mushroom on Toast totally stole the show. Rich, flavorful, comforting—just chef’s kiss. And just as we were mid-chew, mid-sentence, mid-life crisis, they cranked up the music. Hindi songs at full blast—because apparently, silence is too middle class. I came to eat food, not to relive my cousin’s sangeet. Next time, please choose between café or club. You can’t be both unless you’re in a bad Netflix teen series.

Nik Bakers never fails to impress with its delightful offerings. The Ginger Honey Tea and Pita Herb Chips were exceptional in taste and quality. This outlet holds a special place for me as it’s where I first experienced the brand, and it’s now a must-visit every time I’m in Chandigarh. However, there are a few areas for improvement. Some items list "0 sugar" under nutritional information, but the ingredients mention sugar, which creates confusion. It would also be great if they expanded their range of sugar-free products, perhaps using alternatives like stevia. Despite these points, the overall experience remains enjoyable and satisfying.

We stopped by this place during our Himachal road trip and wanted to give it a try after checking the big posters and a lot of hype. Place held the hype for us. Good coffee, very very good veg puff and a decent sourdough sandwich made us happy. :) You should give it a try. They have tried to modify the flavours as per local palette.

Honestly, we felt nik bakers a bit overrated for the price point. The ambience is decent but nothing that really justifies the hype. Sandwich was kind of bland in between because of the paneer slice – would’ve been way better if they cut it into smaller pieces. Nachos were just okay. The pizza had a nice smoky flavour, but we personally didn’t enjoy the tomato chunks on it. Overall, not that bad but definitely expected more in terms of both taste and value.

First time into the cafe and tried several items, mocha and salted caramel latte were good. Chicken quiche, chicken quesadilla, and chicken croissant were really dry and lacked flavor. Chicken mustard sandwich was good (it had a lot of sauce) and chocolate praline cake was good as well. Seating was great for a get to get together with friends. Maybe we just had a bad day as far as the food goes based on the other reviews.

We have had the sandwiches from this outlet today I would love to share this episode because it's a memorable moment for us. We were hungry and in a hurry we bought sandwiches to go. Cost around 300 rupees approx as we took the first bite we found the brown bread is stale the sides of bread was super hard and tastes bitter. I ran back to the store just because we were in the parking lot. The security guy told me sir please stop this is not allowed, I thought he was Saying that outside food is not allowed so i show him the bill and the label of nik bakers, he replied sir please give the sandwich to me and i will call someone here please don't go to the counter "like i am going there to create a scene". I told him with a smile I just want to talk and that's it. Still he follows me to the counter.. What the hell was that? If a customer comes back to your outlet with food you just sold, simply to give feedback or raise a complaint is that how you handle it? at the counter I told the staff its tastes stale the sides are very hard. "The one at the counter offer me a replacement" I told him to check it first. what if it is also similar to the one we had it's definitely stale. Later on he check the both sandwiches the ones we lipped/bit on and the other one he told me its perfectly fine sir just by touching it and asked the manager what to do the manager said the same it's totally fresh. I told him if you are giving a replacement please heat it up otherwise it's okay. But what he done he took those sandwiches the ones we lipped put it in the oven and heat it up 🤣 after that maybe he grilled it as well. Because our sandwiches does have that texture of grill on both side Honestly 30-40 Rupees brown bread from the market that has around 14 to 16 slices approx tastes better, softer and fresh than their 300 rupee for 2 slices. Besides that we are so impressed by the hygiene level they maintained How can someone do that.. "Quote of the day - once you pay us money its not allowed to bring it back to us - nik bakers"

My recent experience was disappointing. It seems they've significantly decreased the portion sizes while simultaneously increasing prices. To add to the frustration, the plates were old and visibly dirty. It's a shame, as the quality used to be much better

this place is open 24 hours. So you can visit there at any time. When looking for food options during the late night this place comes to the rescue. They have multiple options from north Indian to South Indian as well as Chinese. We ordered the masala Dosa and cheese chilli with noodles. Dosa was really very nice but noodles had some extra oil. Rates are pretty reasonable.Overall a good experience.

Recently visited here and found the chaat to be average. Didnt like the delivery being taken care of first while having here are treated with late food. I tried stuffed golgappe and tikki. Tikki was good but golgappe were below average. I didnt get the hype.

They serve some really good chaat and related items. I had dahi golgappe, chaat, lachchha chaat (on separate days). All were superb. The quality of ingredients is top notch. The taste is superb as well. The prices are 60 rupees for all items. Normal price for Chandigarh type city. Despite the crowd they serve, they accommodate requests like not to put raw ginger on items. I think that's a big plus for a famous shop.

This is the first time trying pani puri/golgappa in India. I've had it in the states but this place was way better. Locals recommended this place and there always seems to be a crowd in front of the place. I enjoyed the 7 types of golgappas. As a foreigner, I felt this place was pretty clean. I've already visited this place twice on my trip, I'd revisit in the future.

The chaats are tasty, the gol gappa panis are not good. There is no good seating arrangement. You can either stand or sit on the park's edge that's in front of it.

I found hair in my chaat. This completely ruined the meal for me, and it shows a serious lack of hygiene in food preparation.he owner was very rude. There was no apology or attempt to make things better — just dismissive behaviour.The taste of the chaat could’ve been good, but with such poor hygiene and rude service, I can’t recommend this place unless they make big improvements in cleanliness and customer handling.

We tried a few different parathas: 1. Aloo Pyaz Paratha 2. Paneer Pyaz Paratha 3. Aloo Methi Paratha Honestly, they were some of the worst and most overpriced parathas I’ve ever had. We even paid extra for butter and raita. On top of that, there was a chutney that wasn’t even covered, making it look pretty unhygienic. The owner proudly called it a "unique chutney," but the bucket it came from looked like it hadn't been washed since the shop first opened.

I was in tricity a couple of weeks back and drive to this place just because of its popularity... In all fairness the food was very nice, they serve both -- tawa parantha and tandoori paratha. I tried aloo pyaz tawa parantha along with raita, both were absolutely amazing. The service was quick and food came pretty quickly. Coming to the not so good part, there were flies buzzing all around and this is not a place where you would take your family to.

Looting customers by overcharging. Charged 830 for 9 aloo pyaz paratha and 1 raita. It’s not justifiable price when they have set inr 50 for 1 paratha. Even if it’s extra charge for butter, they don’t ask if we need butter or not. Place if not hygienic at all, owner thought we were bunch of fools and tried to be over smart. Not at all recommended.

The parathas here are the best in Chandigarh. Many type of paratha available And also other dish is good Now if you want to eat something better, you will have to pay separately for the butter and raita.

Really have a mixed review about this place. Went for lunch. Food was quickly served and yummy. Ambience is different canopy style with greenery around and techno music. But jot very well maintained. 0/5 on cleanliness. Dust all over the canopies, tables and even the cards on the table. As in the pictures we ordered cheesesteak, unicorn pizza, broccoli charred grilled, mushroom and corn cigar rolls.

The place has a lovely vibe, the crowd was really good. I took my wife out to this place on Valentine's day. Food was well presented and scrumptious. However it is over priced. Either the prices need to come down or portion size need to be doubled. The portion size is between small and medium. I wonder how are they going to manage in summers as its an open area with gazebos.

The place is aesthetically pleasing but isn’t that great. If you want to go to a place for pictures it sure is a good venue but the place is overpriced and you should probably make a reservation as the place is overbooked. It’s for people who can spend a lot of money for medium quantities of food. If you come in without reservation with a small group of friends you’ll probably end up on a small table with a lot of noise. During festive season the place is nothing less than a mini fish market. I didn’t even bother to take pictures over there as the place was so crowded. We just drank a latte and made our way out as fast as possible. One thing I would definitely mention here is that the Guard at the gate was super sweet. It was my birthday and he saw the cake in my hand and wished me, it made my day.

I ordered food from Swiggy. I have ordered many times from Katani Mohali, but today by mistake I ordered from Katani Sector 22. The food was pathetic. Daal was stale and smelling bad. Paneer dish was just gravy and hardly 4-5 small pieces of paneer. Same for Manchurian Dry as it had only 4 manchurian pieces. I advise nobody to order from here and also this should be removed from Swiggy / Zomato. Nobody picks the call at the restaurant to listen to your complaint. They are simply playing with people's health just to earn some extra money by providing stale food.

Worst place to go. They are not using good quality raw materials for making dishes, I tried chole bhature, but the aalo sabji was the worst. The patato used was deteriorated. Also they are paying attention towards hygiene and atmosphere, all thighs are kept in open and are not covered. Also there is some foul smell. Will recommend not to visit this place.

As the name of the shop suggests, Tikki is their best item, and that is what they are famous for. Don't order other types of cuisines which they are struggling to adapt and prepare. Having said that, when you are eating at roadside eating joint, you don't expect top notch service and quality. I also ordered red sauce pasta along with tikki, pasta was too spicy for my taste, so owner replaced it with white sauce pasta free of cost. 👍

Presently they are charging Ra:-99/- morning breakfast from 9AM to 11 A.M & in the evening 5 PM to 7 PM subject to some Condition.Staff is nice & Cooperative. Prices of Food is reasonable.. North Indian thali have different flavours, but good and filling. Hygienic place, good space. Located on the first floor and accessible by an elevator. There is a capacity of 70-80 person gathering. Nice place for small gathering Party.

Nothing South Indian about this South Indian restaurant. Food was bland, Sambar was too oily and not upto the mark. Even coconut chutney was bland and flavorless. This pretty much sums up their service as well. They need to get new new chefs, new service staff and definitely new ambiance.

Won't recommend this place at all. Bland food, no taste or flavour at all. Too expensive for the kind of food that they are serving here. Sambhar was hopeless, it didn't had any flavour of dal or spice just oil and some liquid. All the Chutneys had no salt or flavour. I really wonder how is this place even coping up?

Nick Bakery leaves a good first impression. The place is clean and well-organized, and the variety of food and beverages is impressive. However, the overall experience was let down by the long waiting time at the counter and for the preparation of my order. I had to wait about 5 minutes just to place my order, which might be acceptable for a busy bakery. However, it then took an additional 15 to 18 minutes for my sandwich, hot chocolate, and cappuccino to be served. For such a simple order, that’s far too long. The staff was polite, and the quality of the food was good, but the service could definitely be improved to manage the customer flow better. Overall, a decent experience, but there’s room for improvement.

Tried Nik Baker’s at Jubilee Walk—ordered pizza, mix sauce pasta, and white sauce pasta. White sauce was missing the will to live, mix sauce tasted like it had a long past, and the bread… let’s just say I chewed it 10 times and it fought back. Staff was polite though

If you're looking for an aesthetically place to hangout at, sure go for it. The food is decent. You won't be blown away but you also won't be disappointed. We ordered Noodles and soup dumplings. While the noodles were good, the dumplings had something soooo off about them. We had seen videos on how the soup dumplings should be and this was not it. The place it itself was very pretty tho. You could get yourself some really good pictures and the table placing is enough for you to catch your private moments with friends and family without the other table hanging over your head. Quite expensive but then again, it's due to the ambience they provide.

Been going for a while and I have no hesitation in recommending the food to someone who wants to eat pan Asian in a quiet, peaceful and congenial environment. The staff are caring and eager to serve. I recommend their Khow Suey, ramen bowls and their cinnamon fig icecream. Pad Thai was a miss this time though.They also have a live grill which they fire up on request.

Never order food from Hibachi Chandigarh. We ordered food from the restaurant through Zomato. After a wait of 50 minutes, the package arrived. Unfortunately it was a wrong order. So we told the delivery man who refused to take it back and said that we should speak to the restaurant. Finding Hibachi's number was a big task as the number was not on the bill. We finally found the number on tha packaging and called the restaurant. It was impossible to get through. After numerous tries we got through. The restaurant behaved as if nothing has happened. After 10 minutes he acknowledged that the package got mixed up. They asked for another 30 minutes to deliver. Having no option we agreed. After 40 minutes we get a call from another employee asking g for the address as the restaurant had given an incomplete address.
