If you want to eat a very authentic Döner with freshly prepared ingredients including an extra hot chili sauce then Alaturka is the right place. Lahmacun spezial mit Döner Fleisch is my personal favorite. Staff is very friendly and welcoming.
On our final night in Germany, I was craving Döner and found Alaturka not far from our hotel. The restaurant is an intimate storefront with maybe 30 chairs and countertop ordering. The staff were very welcoming and the food was delicious. Felt like eating at a friend's home rather than a restaurant. Highly recommend.

I took doner with yufka and it tasted very nice. The staff is very friendly and they are fast. It’s very near to the center so if you want to grab food and sit on the grass ,it’s perfect. Inside of the place is small and not very nice to eat. There are tables outside but they are not enough so it could be little tough to find somewhere to eat nearby the restaurant.
Best doner place in town. Atleast the most famous one. There is always a line and on busy periods finding a place to sir can be problem. You can always get take aways though
Coming from Berlin where we have a Kebap at every corner, I was curious to try something else.
The Kebabrolle Yufka was amazing. The meat was well seasoned and well made and not only it melted in my mouth, but also the taste was rich and tasty.
The wrap(and the Kebap bread as well) are home made and you can immediately see the difference from the others you are normally used to, being fresh, crunchy. Simply put, you feel that fresh taste. And it makes the difference.
The vegetables inside were very fresh and tasty.
Another big plus : the sauce which was Jogurt Sauce. Not the classic Dürum/Kebap sauce we are used to, which sometimes is too much or too heavy to eat along that much meat. This Jogurt Sauce on the other hand was amazing: simple, but effective. Like taking a sip of Ayran while eating.
Great experience and totally recommend to everyone.
Please don't compare this to something else and appreciate it as if it were something new and review it accordingly.

The best one I’ve ever tried in Germany! The meat is so juicy, fresh vegetables in a good amount. Some shop put too much. The portion is perfect for me but a bit small for my boyfriend. The price is good for the location and quality. The shop is quite busy, you might need to wait a bit but it’s worth it! Highly recommended:)
The best kebab you can try! The meet is kind of spicy but it tastes DELICIOUS 😋.
You should try the green cold beverage (there are three colors: yellow, green, purple), I think it’s made by herbs 🌿, but not sure. There also sells Coca-Cola and this staff. You can eat in some tables that are outside. Enjoy it! 🤗

Terrible Experience – Avoid This Place at All Costs!
We went to Gul Kebab Stuttgart hoping for a decent meal, but it turned out to be a nightmare. They charged us extra for no reason, and when we politely questioned it, the staff became aggressive and rude. The service was completely unprofessional, and it felt like they were trying to take advantage of us.
To make things worse, the food was subpar—nothing special and definitely not worth the price, let alone the unjustified extra charges. If you’re looking for good food and respectful treatment, steer clear of this place. There are far better options in Stuttgart!
One of the worst doner places I’ve ever visited. The service is terrible, and the woman working there has an awful attitude. She only spoke in German and didn’t care at all that I don’t speak fluent German. She didn’t even bother to explain that paying for just one doner (8 euros) with a card would include an extra charge, which is not common in other doner places. Instead, she just added the charge without informing me.
At the end of the day, it’s all about her behavior. If you’re not Turkish or German, don’t go there—you’ll face some of the worst treatment imaginable.
Maybe not the most exquisite but definitely one of the meatiest kebabs around. Never fails to save a late night by soaking up the alcohol in the system.
For that price in Germany, they are selling the best Turkish döner. Workers are friendly, their döner is 100% beef and it tasted amazing. Definitely coming here again.
Excellent Kebap! Best in Stuttgart I’ve had so far and the service is phenomenal. I didn’t have euros but they fed my friends while I went and pulled cash. They also accommodated us when we realized we wanted pommes with the wrap my friend ordered. Very kind people and amazing kebap!

The steak kebab here is out of this world good! I've had kebabs in the UK, Australia, and throughout Europe. If I had to pick the last kebab to eat for the rest of my life - it's the steak kebab from Regenbogen Imbiss. The restaurant is very clean, well lit, and tidy - a stark departure from my typical kebab experience. We mistakenly showed up 15 minutes early one day and the gentleman setting up the sides behind counter let us in. We were allowed to grab drinks and hangout while they got everything ready to begin serving food. The staff is always very kind. Seriously, what a gem!
UPDATE: still the best. This time we also tried their falafel plate and pida. Fantastic meal. Not too salty and great hummus. Next time, I'm going for pida with cheese!!!!

I tried around more than 50 kebab in all Germany (Berlin, Munich, Hamburg,Stuttgart, Dusseldorf, Koln) and this is by far, the best in all terms I have ever had, döner is literally perfect, and all the menu is awesome, price is fair and quantity is perfect.

There are several kebab restaurants close to each other in this part of town, this one is one of my favorites. Instead of minced meat, they serve the highest quality and tastiest sliced meat I've had for an extra charge.

A large variety of delicious food, kebab beef and chicken platters, fresk vegetables, french fries with spices, vegetarian and vegan dishes and everything very reasonably priced. The staff was very friendly and tried helping us in english as we speak no german. I am sorry that we are leaving Stuttgart again today and can not return to try out more dishes. Next time for sure !

It is quite nice inside - you can have your food either as a take-away or you can enjoy it in the restsurant, there is enough space there.

Sunday brunch is an open buffet and it costs 22 Euros,it is worth 16 euros . Eggplant and squash fried too much. Although,Gözleme was freshly made and tasted great. Offering baklava is weird as original Turkish brunch doesn’t include it in Turkey. It looked very sugary.

The rice pudding tasted strongly of condensed milk. Since the buffet provided yogurt, but no bowls (!), I tried to keep the pudding bowl, but a waiter took it away despite my best efforts, mumbling something under his breath. Not a great look.
The desserts were commercial grade, bought in, cheap crud. Nothing you don't also get at a cheap Chinese buffet.
Even the baklava tasted neither of nuts nor any other floral flavors. It was like it was soaked in simple syrup instead of orange syrup.
Overall, this was an enormous letdown. Fine - but certainly not worth the money.

Middle Eastern cuisine, indoor and outdoor seating. Nice staff and a lengthy menu with food for all eaters. The appetizers are really on point; Highly recommend one of those and the chefs speciality plus the falafel. We give this experience a five out of five.

A proper imbiss which should be visited on Friday, Sat and Sunday - when they serve prime ribs and steak meats on their dönner (more roasted style). The plates are pretty big, the bread is homemade, roasted onions on the side, salads, pommes etc. The weekend meats are very juicy and flavorful, i havent seen a char there once - but maybe it just has no time to form due to the demand. They are busy and there is a line, however it is never a problem to score a table. They also sell baklavas and other sweets.
It is not my personal favorite dönner as I prefer charred meats in the dönner, but this place is different from the "regulars" due to weekend meats.
The employees were very friendly. The food was very good. I will definitely stop by again when I come to Stuttgart.

It’s hard to imagine a better döner sandwich than their weekend steak special. You can taste the freshness in literally every component; the homemade bread and deliciously marinated meat were especially outstanding. The service was great and it’s a lovely spot right off the train. One of the best sandwiches I’ve had in recent memory period. I also loved the homemade ayran and the baklava was solid. I will definitely be coming back and trying to convince my friends and family that this is the spot for döner. Looking forward to trying more of their dishes as well, like pide, börek, etc.

Great doner place near the Radisson Park Inn and Marienplatz. I've been staying at the hotel off and on since June and have popped into here several times. The doner is always delicious and fresh tasting. The toppings are plentiful. Price is excellent for the quality of food. One of the best doner restaurants in the area by far. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a tasty meal or quick bite.

Döner kebaps are among my very favorite food to eat. And I have had them all over Europe and Israel. This place took the Döner experience to a whole new level.
Most Döner places are little holes in the wall with no ambiance whatsoever. This place was delightful. They had not only a very cleaning area inside to eat, but you could also sit out back on a terrace that made you feel like you were out in the middle of the woods.
There is a drink cooler when you walk in. You grab your drink and then walk up to place your order. They take cash or credit cards. The price is a bit higher than many other Döner places but well worth it. You tell the guy at the counter what you would like and pay and they then give you a light up block that lets you know when your order is ready. Quick and efficient.
I have never had a Döner that had such beautiful lettuce and other veggies on it. The bread was thin and almost crisp. The meat is cut with a machine versus having a person shaving it off. Such a well run place.
I was so impressed with this place. Great food. Super quick to order and get food and the food was delicious. I am here for two nights for work and will be back again tomorrow night. So good.
Update. This place was so good that I went back again tonight for dinner. There was a long line but it went quickly. I had the meat Döner this time. Just as amazing as last night. I highly recommend this place.

I stayed in a hotel nearby. The first time I walked past the restaurant, I could see a queue outside on the street. Although it was strange at first, I didn't pay much attention to it as it was lunchtime. But then I saw the same queues in the afternoon, in the evening ... it didn't really matter when I went there. One evening I decided to join the queue and I have to say it was totally worth it: pita bread baked on the spot, tasty and juicy meat, super fresh vegetables, homemade sauces and a fantastic service.

Kebaphaus offers a pretty solid doner! I enjoyed it though there was quite a wait to order. I think the fact that there was such a long line speaks to the quality and taste, however, it can be a bit inconvenient. Also, I did go a little later in the day, but, they were out of beef so I had to get a chicken Doner. However, I do like chicken and honestly probably prefer it, I was looking forward to trying the beef one. Overall though, great food and would definitely recommend!
The best kebab I ever had in southern Germany. Service is unmotivated and you need to get the diner yourself. Long line. It’s worth it though as the kebab and everything else was just excellent, most kebab shops just don’t have the same level of taste. Interior is nice and you can even sit outside in the cute garden.

Very disappointing experience. The service was extremely slow and the staff showed no respect for their customers. I specifically asked for a galette sandwich, but they served it on regular bread instead, without even informing me. On top of that, the sandwich was not good at all. We are very disappointed in this restaurant. We ordered Künefe, but it was prepared without pistachios and without ice cream, although the menu indicated that this was included in this dish. Künefe was inferior and unfortunately the waiter didn't even mention about this thing. Also the Künefe was taste, like burnt and there was very very little cheese inside. I do not recommend this restaurant to visit!

Solid ! One of my top 3 favourite Döner spots in Stuttgart. Location is a bit tricky. Located on the top level in a food court, can be noisy and overcrowded but worth it !
I tried their too good to go. Finding their location was a bit hard but I called them and they helped me locate it. It is inside a mall on 3rd or 4th floor I guess near Subway.
They gave me all the leftover vegetables and bread. I got 2 boxes full of vegetables (eggplant, paprika, mushrooms, onions), falafel and sauces. I asked for extra sauce and they added two more scoops for me which is very generous. Additionally, they gave me 3-4 Döner breads & 3 Yufka wraps.
I brought it home & shared with my friends. We cooked some chicken and customised our Yufka. It was delicious!! I highly recommend this place.

Ordered “lachmacun spezial” (extra meat). Very juicy and tasty! Several options between dressings, salads etc. Everyone should get exactly the kebab they want. There is even option to add fresh lemon juice. I visited the place on Black Friday, there was a DJ in the food court, and therefore bit noisy. Prices higher than normal street-kebab, but worth it! Automatic döner-cutter they use there is also futuristic and worth to see.

A pleasant, architecturally elegant indoor market, but it may fall short if you're used to the energy and scale of larger market halls across Europe or the US. Housed in a striking Jugendstil building from 1914, the space offers a mix of upscale grocery stalls, wine bars, and specialty shops, more boutique than bustling.
While the historic charm and tidy layout are appealing, the variety leans heavily toward gourmet imports and curated goods rather than local, everyday market fare. Still, it’s worth a stop for a drink, quick bite, or to admire the ironwork and glass ceiling, even if it didn’t quite live up to my expectations.

It doesn’t have the vibe of other market halls or food halls like Madrid, Amsterdam, London or NY, however, it is very “proper” and has all one looks for in a market. Not many dining options though.
