An amazing place with cool energy. We wanted to get here to the market, but unfortunately we came late and it was already over. But we were still very satisfied. At sunset there is an amazing light for photographers, you can take a lot of beautiful photos.

What a wonderful part of Rome. Everything so convenient. It's a great neighborhood with family people and when you feel quite safe. So much to do in the plaza, mini restaurants and during the day there was a flea market until 5:00. Some great pizza, restaurants and some soup or gelato

One of the most unique experiences you will ever have while visiting Rome. This should be on every visitor's must see list. Everything imaginable from fresh food, fresh fruit and vegetables, household goods, electronics , to Butcher shops, and cheese shops., The Fish mongers bakeries an unbelievable experience world. You will spend at least several hours exploring. It's a ten minute walk from the Ottaviano, Metro stop if you're going to the Vatican.

True local Italian neighborhood market. Most stalls are filled with high quality permanent vendors not like other markets with high vacancy level.

I love this place. People there friendly, multiple types of food, and don’t forget the red wine £1 per cup.

Local products from Rome. Many shops were not open yet when we visited in the morning. We however were able to buy some fresh peaches, tomatoes, cranberries, pastries. Delicious and delightful trip. There were also markets offering fresh meat and sausages. So nice to experience the local touch in Rome as visitors. Thank you.

A marvellous, traditional market. Great for getting supplies of breads, cheeses, fruit, vege, etc if you're staying anywhere nearby, with much better prices and/or quality than supermarkets. Also a good range of cakes, pastries and savoury snacks at various stalls.

Horrible market!!!! Hard to find good vintage gems and if you find some- will be extrimelly overpriced! 99% of the market is chinese lowest quality crap. Vintage clothing is all dirty with spots!!! Only good and cheap you can find there is lether and fur jackets. Food places in the market and arround are overpriced!!!! In general: WASTE OF TIME

Thrift market was pretty fun to visit. Lot of 1-8€ china products but you can find cool pants (for example hippie pants), good jackets, sunglasses and more. We visited around 11am. There was also food trucks 👍

Its ok. You don't miss out much if you don't go. Just clothing and some other bits and pieces. There was some music band and some antique stalls ,that was the good stuff of The market. Would be great if the majority of stalls were like that

Was hoping for a more traditional flea market. This was more like a swap meet. Lots of new things, a few vendors w vintage but not many. If your looking for knock-off tennis shoes, clothing, or household cleaners you will find it. It was packed.

Nice clean market where locals come to buy fresh fruits, vegetables and seafood. Has cheap clothes, shoes, suitcases too. We needed a tailor for my husband's new jackets and pants and they were able to do it all (9 pieces) in 5 hours when the shops asked for at least 3 days! Super cheap, compared to what I'm used to paying in other countries.

I had SO MUCH FUN wandering around in this market!!! I didn’t want to do too much since it was blazing hot outside so I decided to walk the short distance from my hotel to this wonderful market - and was I glad that I did! My first impression was that everything was SO FRESH! The fruit looked as if it had been picked from the tree that same day, the fish and other seafood looked like they had been swimming in the ocean within an hour of arriving at this market, the fresh cuts of meat - beef, chicken, pork - all looked as if the animals had been grazing in the fields earlier that day. I’m from the US and I have never seen anything even close to this at home. Every spice you could ever want (beautiful and vibrant, not all faded and over processed), beans, rice, the most gorgeous vegetables, some of which I couldn’t name. My American self didn’t realize that one kilogram is equal to 2.2 pounds so I happily bought 1 kg of cherry tomatoes as they were the most enchanting, robust shade of red you could ever imagine! So, I ended up eating THE ENTIRE 2.2 pounds of tomatoes and they were indescribably delicious and soooo sweet!!! Hands down, without a doubt, the best tomatoes I’ve ever eaten in my life. Please make time to go and stroll through this awesome market - you will not regret it.

Multi-Culti market, lot of spices, fresh vegetables, fruits and meat. As expected, people were open and approaching. It was raining outside so we went in, got some amazing offers and bought some stuff we were drawn to.

A food market unlike anything we have in Canada. For our first pass, we wandered through the market like it was a tourist attraction. We checke out the many vendor stalls, seeing the types of products for sale. Our second pass was to purchase fresh fruit, vegetables and fish. The market offers a large selection of food items from herbs and spices, through fruit and vegetables, on to meat and fish. The quality was much better than the supermarket offerings we get back home. The vendors were friendly, wanting to attract customers. Prices were well marked and allowed for a degree of haggling, were we so inclined. If I lived close to this market, it would be the place I shopped at regularly. An excellent find.

Pretty cool market for fresh veg and meat and all sorts of foodstuff. Seemed like a lot of Bangladeshis owning the stalls and therefore a lot of south Asian specialties and delicacies

Wide variety of products, including Halal butchers, fresh veg and fruit, fish and seafood and Asian food ingredients. Prices more affordable than supermarkets and definitely way less than mom&pop shops. Prices increased compared to earlier this year though. Good to shop early in the morning to get the best freshness and avoid crowds.

We went in the morning and alot of stalls aren't opened yet or even occupied. Nonetheless, it's a very local market to buy foodstuffs, groceries, clothes and even get a haircut. The prices are pretty decent. We had a breakfast before leaving. Do visit when you have the chance and purchase something.

A local market where you can have small bites and look around for Italian fresh product. We went early in the morning at 7am and there’s only few stores are open. We had some coffee, croissants, and even brought some cheese and ham for souvenir to take home. One of the stall have a vacuum machine so we can have all the produces vacuumed, easier to bring home. There’s also an open stall/weekend market on the back of the market, selling cute stuffs and accessories. A good place to browse around on weekend if you have free time to kill in Rome.

Testaccio market is worth visiting. Love the porchetta sandwich & coffee at illy bar. You must also try the artichokes. I love the roman style better than the fried one. Affordable food & the place is clean.

What a lovely little local market. Its five mins around the corner from Keats grave so perfect for a spot of lunch or snack and coffee. Food was good and there are lots of stalls to browse.

11am, on Monday, There are a few stores already closed themselves, but still it has lively market vibe. It doesn't dirty at all and the smell wasnt bad~ we bought some small virgin olive oil bottles and dry pasta bags with reasonable price.

Market for second hand clothes and vintage stuff. Small entry fee. Basic facilities like restroom and coffee point. Mostly local people looking for opportunities of clothes or handbags at a good price.

Super cute market with all sorts of vintage finds from jewelry to clothes and purses. Prices range from great to out of the question but def worth a visit. Small entrance fee. Cash only should be advertised more. Some vendors only take cash also. Go early in the summer. It’s not super busy but is obviously hot after 10:00 am. Small snack/drink area which is nice but filled with smokers.

Decent amount and variety of items ranging from designer-quality clothing to jewelry, shoes, coats, and many random sorts of trinkets. Though I think there were a few vendors selling counterfeit items. Most of them are usually negotiable so good luck hunting!

Came to this market with high hopes and it did not disappoint! The entrance fee is 1.6€ and you can only pay in cash for items, so hit an ATM before entering. They had an amazing selection of designer items for low prices. Especially bags, scarves, and clothing. I purchased two bags in great condition, for only 300€ total! My friend found some amazing scarves and a beautiful wallet and spent about the same.

Best place to find vintage *designer* clothes, coats and bags, inc gold and silver jewelry. I do think the prices are a little inflated compared to Porta Portese however there’s less rummaging through piles.

It was a bit hot when i visited. But they do have a lot of vintage jewelry and clothing. Good prices as well. Lots of namebrand stuf (im not a fan) but for those who are u can get cute namebrand purses and scarf.

Very salty food but an amazing location and convenient! Depending on where you eat, be aware that some of the pastas are way too salty. Every bite I ate of the carbonara, I was just eating salt. The pizza on the other hand was good. Was very flavourful but once again, very salty. Not sure if it’s an Italian thing but I’ve been to Italy before and it wasn’t this salty.

Saw a TikTok video about this market food hall and how this is great place where locals come when at the Termini Train Station. I had a had time finding it in the station but could be because of all the construction. Anyways we got two slices of Roman pizza to share and it was delicious. Would definitely come back and would try other food options

Pretty solid selection overall: pizza, pasta, vegan, Asian, meat lover options, bakery, wine, and desserts. I ended up choosing the truffle store, which serves pasta and also sells products you can take home(truffle oil etc). There were way more truffles than I expected! The staff in the market also go around to take drink orders.

If you ever come to Roma and you end up close to the market you HAVE to come there !!! Sooo many choices to choose from, quick service and overall good food. Bonus points : when you sit down, waitresses will come to you to ask if you would like to drink anything and will then bring your drinks to your table directly ! The place is pretty big and there are a lot of tables available so it was really easy to sit down quickly. The meat was so good, it was our last night so we decided to splurge a little. I also really like the trapizzino - a Roman specialty !

Just down from the main station, this food market - more like an upmarket food court, really - has amazing local specialties. Sandwiches, arancini, supplí, pizza, pasta and wonderful cakes. Don’t miss it.

Small indoor market. Inside the market you can find a small stand for sausages, cheese and delicious pork belly bread. So yummy. Went there 2 times and bought 6 breads with different combinations. One word AMAZING

While we were in Rome we stayed in a flat very close to this market. We went there a few times to get bread, sandwitches, veggies, fruits, meat, and pasta. The sandwich shop is amazing, with tasty prosciutto, freshly cooked pork belly, and various cheese. The shop owner is very nice and full of energy. The other shop has tasty freshly made pasta. The market may be small but it suits our needs nicely.

Best pork belly sandwich ever. Cut fresh as we watched. Fresh breadrolls and Paolo even gave us a taste of his aged boar sausage.

Amazing market. It’s so huge and there are so many things. You can find anything there ever a wedding dress haha This flea market is not just a shopping destination it's a genuine Roman experience. If you have the patience to dig through the piles and the willingness to haggle a bit, you are almost guaranteed to go home with an unexpected treasure. Be sure to arrive early, as it gets very crowded, and the best finds disappear quickly. It's a true paradise for any treasure hunter!

Quite fun! But would strongly advise to arrive early - by 9 am it was so crowded that it became uncomfortable. Also, if you are looking for non-clothing stuff there is a parallel street from the main one I would definitely check out - found some really cool stuff there! Also make sure to have cash!

Incredible vintage market with hundreds of stalls selling everything from quality vintage leather to homeware. Great for clothes and unusual souvenirs. Be aware it is very big and very crowded! Also found vendors less interested in bargaining here than on the steet stalls in Prati. Food and toilets available.

Basically SHEIN and Temu in a market version. Cheap and mass produced clothes and jewelry, and some vintage clothing often than not, in a terrible condition or fakes. Even early in the morning it’s crowded and smells really bad. Absolutely not worth visiting.

This is an amazing market if you have the patience to sort through an unbelievably massive array of clothing. You can find innumerable gems here. Like others have said it gets VERY busy so get here there early (before 9).

A nice size traditional market in heart of Trastevere. We shopped there everyday while we stayed in Trastevere for a week. We loved it. Not touristy, helpful and friendly vendors. Price is 2/3 price of Compo de Fiori market. 5-6 fruit and vegetable stands, one cheese shop, one butcher shop, one used book shop and two fish markets. The fish markets only opened Tus and Wed while I was there. We loved to shop there. Very fresh produce, veggie, fruit, olive, egg and porcini mushroom. We got bread and pastry from le Laiven bakery and fresh made pasta from shop next to the bakery just off of the market, we got every things we need. Open every day from 6:30-2pm except Sunday.

It's small but clean. I don't smell the bad smells mentioned by one other. Good for buying fruits after your morning coffee at one of the many nearby cafes.

A large square for the local district market. Though it is still to restore, it was interesting to know that in Trastevere there was a dedicated hospital for women and children. I was impressed by the fountain with water running over the surface of a mosaic to make it shiny and cool.

Interesting visit, great produce, obviously. Vary local . If you're self catering and in the district, not a bad place to start. Fruit and vegetables seasonal and fresh, excellent meat selection, fish, jams and honey, bread. Have a look. It's in the Zero idea and it's genuine. Allow about an hour.

If you're looking for the place where the locals go and get produce, meats, treats and breads, this market is the place. There are tons of vendors with a variety of foods for you to choose from. We opted for a couple different breads and some sweet treats. The chocolate biscotti was my fav by far. We also sampled some olive oils which were top notch. Will be back next time we're in Rome. 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is the 3rd time we come to this market since 2020, whem we discovered it for the first time visiting Rome. Everything here is amazing. The products are fresh and local. The ambiance feel genuine and you can eat the best porchetta sandwich in town.

it was very crowded when we came to the market around 10am, but you can understand why it gets so full. pizza, pasta, fresh produce, meat, cheese, bread and pastries- whatever it is you're looking for, you'll find it in this small space. they even have a courtyard to sit and enjoy your treats.

Best kept secret of the mercato or markets around central Roma. Great selection of meats, cheeses, olive oils, bakery goods, wine and fruit and vegetables. If shopping come early. It’s possible to sit outside on a fine day and enjoy the Roman sunshine

I had been apprehensive to eat at Eataly in Rome, but two different Italian friends told me it was a good option at the train station and the airport. So, I gave it a try. At Termini, there are two sites: the restaurant and the bakery. I tried the restaurant and ordered a Mezza Mina Cacio e Pepe (€15.90), a classic Roman dish. It was good, but not outstanding. The service was super fast, which is great if you have to catch a train. The experience wasn't memorable, but that was expected given the setting. Still, it was good enough to consider having lunch at a train station or airport.

This was a great place for dinner. Not very crowded and the service was first class. The waitress recommend one of their draft beers which was very good. Also I would recommend the lasagna. Delicious 😋

Great place for rest and relaxation before the ride! 🚊 My husband and I recently spent time inside the Eataly café within Rome Termini Station before catching a train to Naples, and it was exactly what we needed before our upcoming travel day 🧳 We’d usually grab something quick to go, but since we had extra time before our train, we opted to sit down and enjoy a relaxed coffee and light meal ☕️🍽️ The sit-down area was comfortable, clean, and had plenty of room as people were in and out. Definitely perfect for travelers coming and going 👍 We ordered sweet croissants with our cappuccinos, plus a savory sandwich and a delicious cheese and meat flatbread. Everything was fresh and satisfying! They also had a solid selection of grab-and-go options, refrigerated drinks, and prepackaged meals if you're in a rush 👏 Even though we were monitoring train updates using our phones, we really appreciated the clear view of the large departures and arrivals board while we sat. Since we were still waiting to find out which gate our train would depart from, having that visibility gave us peace of mind ✅ Plus, Eataly is pretty centrally located within the station — so even once our gate was announced, we knew we wouldn’t have far to go to make our train ⏰ 📍 The only small hiccup was figuring out where exactly to order — it seemed like there were separate counters for food and hot drinks, which led to a bit of confusion and two separate transactions (totally my fault!) 👀 But honestly, the staff handled the busy atmosphere so well. They were friendly, helpful, and stayed calm under pressure. When we couldn’t finish everything, they also quickly provided takeaway bags so we could bring the rest with us on the train 🤍 All in all, a decent experience! A solid stop if you have time to spare before or after your train and want something a bit better than standard station fare 😋

I had a lovely experience at Eataly in Rome Termini. The croissant was truly delicious, and the cappuccino was just perfect smooth and full of flavor. The service was quick (no more than 2 minutes of waiting), and the staff were kind and welcoming. Everything felt effortless and pleasant. I really enjoyed it and would definitely come back.

Waiting for a train or bus doesn’t mean you have to skip amazing food! Eataly at Roma Termini serves fresh pasta, cheese, gelato, and more—fast, delicious, and totally worth a stop before you travel.

The restaurant is nice, staff friendly. Price value would be ok, if the lasagne is biger than a half slice of bread.. They do not know how to use the airconditioner... Eat a lunch at 28 celsius not to comfortable.

Great market to visit for fresh fruit and vegetables and fish, or just to have a look. Not the biggest, but worth looking if you are nearby. They sell small packs of peperoncino chillis for 1 euro, seems a popular small medium hot chilli full of seeds. Will grow some of these next year now. Does get busy, so remember these people are trying to make a living

no seating places and the guards objected to us sitting on the floor and stairs out of the way, couldn't stand outside the club even though a dude was pissing 10 meters away from the club and they didn't seem to have a problem with that. None of us were drunk or causing trouble (as if you could get drunk from the watered down drinks, they didn't have enough ingredients for a martini but they charged 12 euros on top of the 15 euro entrance fee, with basically no alcohol). Ludicrously expensive and not worth it on a night with no live music and just some bad remixes playing, place was half empty with most people choosing to smoke outside the building as it was a more interesting use of your time than staying inside. There are so many better discos in rome I would refrain from supporting Alcazar with your business or your time.

Large, but intimate. The slight grade to the standing room allows for visibility even in the back row. It allowed me to not feel so guilty as a guy who stands 2 meters tall. Drink selection is broad and modern. The acoustics are fantastic in the whole venue. The true standout aspect is the design. It feels like an interior designer's loft. I cannot recommend enough!

Nice first impression but bad at the end. Really only deserves half a star. We arrived at the market just before the end and found great leather jackets. We bought cocktails there shortly before closing and were therefore only pushed back and forth because they close after the market to reopen. Very disorganized. Then for the opening of the live music show they started 3 hours to late no joke and we couldn't sit down while we waited because everything is reserved for special guests. Nowhere on the website was it shown that you can book standing room, seat or anything else. It's very boring during the whole waiting time. If you want to come then not on time or too early. We didn't get the money back and we left. No matter how great it would have been, no one was nice here.

Paid €5 each to watch bob marley tribute on the list. Event time was listed to start at 9.30pm and it didn't start until 11pm which was very disappointing because we was nearly 1 hour walk from alcazar so we had to leave not long after they started. It's was extremely over crowded and drinks were crazily over priced. We paid €10 for 2 cokes.

I visited this antique/vintage shop two times with 5 years apart. I wish I had a similar shop in Madrid. There are multiple good sides of this shop, you can find some collection items with fair prices, porcelein collection is huge and most of all staff is really friendly. Definitely worth to visit.

We stayed in this neighborhood for a month. This stop is extremely convenient and allows you to access both the B and C lines. Special notes: 1) VERY crowded between 8am and 10am, to the point where one morning, there was a police officer posted at the turnstiles, which were locked, waiting for the crowds on the platform to thin out before letting people in. That day we walked to our destination. 2) In true Italian fashion, there was one Friday where the transit union was on strike, which means they only guarantee both morning and evening rush hour service. Needless to say, we stayed home for much of the day and walked where we needed to go for the rest of the day.

Traveling with our nephew who uses crutches, we discovered that this station has an elevator. You have to take steps from the street to the first landing, and after going through the turnstiles there is an elevador thats goed down to the metro plataform. Great!

A metro station can be a museum, Rome city authority proved very nicely. Really it's amazing. Passengers can spend their borrowing time by watching some videos and some old roman materials.

San Giovanni is an underground museum! Lots of artifacts and historical pieces dating back to Roman times. Definitely stop here for 10-15 minutes to take a look at what they have on display. It is an interchange station too for those wanting to travel on Metro A Line 🟠🚇 from Metro C Line 🟢🚇 Metro A 🟠🚇 has all the stops to all the major attractions in Rome such as Cipro (for the Vatican Museums), Ottaviano (for St. Peter's Basilica), Spagna (for the Spanish Steps and Villa Borghese), Barberini (for the Trevi Fountain), and Termini (for the main train station and connection to Metro Line B 🔵). From my personal experience it has been well kept and tidy, good working escalators and toilets available.

Worth getting off just to see the museum!! Some interesting artifacts as you wander through the station. it's easy to buy a ticket here and worth noting that the 24 hour ticket does last 24 hours and doesn't expire at midnight! Easy to zip around the city from the stations. This particular stop is part of the new line which is being installed in the city.

Amazing history and architecture. And as seen in the photos, magical. Yet, sadly, the area is run down. Walls have graffiti and the park does not leave one feeling secure. Litter lying around, empty bottles and some being emptied as we were walking by. Something unexpected for what I was expecting.

Definitely the worst place in Rome I visited. Would recommend skipping this one and going to any other park. Only place I felt unsafe in Rome. Lot's of trash everywhere. Lovely atmosphere and very interesting musical/cultural events here! The restaurant is also very cute and they have a vegan and gluten-free burger option! It is also a "punto viola" (purple spot) which means that it is a safe space for women in case they receive harassment or any other kind of inappropriate behaviour. Great great place!!

Went there during my cruise vacation in Barcelona. There’s a line with QR code at the front for you to add your party on the list. They will text you once it’s your turn and I saw that they always had a line at the front. The entrance look like a supermarket but once You got in it’s a different world. The front part was the bar area and the back was more like a club with another bar. The club part tended to attract a younger crowd and for people who didn’t have a reservation. It’s totally 2 different vibes. I preferred the front bar area and if You got a chance to sit at the bar it’s even better. You can get a better bar experience with a better quality cocktails. We went there for our friends birthday, great place to have fun, open concept, bar, comfy chairs for large groups, you can play foosball, basketball...try their sandwiches that they serve in a small truck, loved it. They have live music, basically a place to see.

Very nice and quiet place . Often there are nice initiatives . Last time I have been here there was a fair regarding the biologic wines . Always nice to visit the market at the Citta' dell' Altra Economia . I found a very kind lady that sell Vintage Clothes and that make her own ( hand made ) very original bags, scarves and hats . On Sunday I definitely recommend to visit her and the entire market .

I enjoy wandering this place while I have a spare hour during weekends. It's located in an old factory style open air venue, a bit run down, but that's what makes it so easy going and relaxing. It offers plenty of choices sometimes with double themes market section (i.e. Japanese on one side and natural-bio on the other side) and it is well served also by public transportation as well as inside services, such as pub and toilets. Reason why I'm giving four start and not five is because it lacks a bit more variety on the merchandise, as it ends up to be always the same old story of necklaces, earrings, and other cheap marroquineries that make it overall a deja-vu' and poorly motivate another visit (but still I have a couple of spots worth visiting!).

Terrible experience at the down stairs toilet!! 2 cleaning ladies publicly shamed me for trying to use the baby toilet so i can pee. I have two big luggages and a disabled dog. The cubicle was too small for me and my things and Rome Termini is know for pick pockets and thieves! So i am definitely not leaving my things out to pee! But the two ladies working at 9:40am on 29, June 2025!!! You are despicable for publicly shaming me instead of informing me that im not allowed to use the baby toilet even though i already explained my situation! There is located the faculty of architeture and urbanism of Sapienza University. It is an old structure revitalized to gather a school. There is some exibitions and is a good place to visit when you want to visit the neighborhood of Testaccio.

Da quello che abbiamo potuto vedere è ricco di stampi, ciotole, utensili e simili, oltretutto si possono acquistare oggetti vintage del Museo stesso. Da tornarci sicuramente! A mio parere però, poichè la visita è gratuita così come in tanti altri Musei di Roma, metterei un biglietto d'entrata magari entro e non oltre i 5 euro.
