Nestled in the vibrant heart of Rome, the Abbey Theatre Irish Pub is a delightful homage to Ireland's rich literary heritage. This charming pub features intimate dark-wood interiors that create a cozy atmosphere perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Just a stone's throw from Piazza Navona, it’s surrounded by artisan shops and traditional trattorias, making it an ideal stop during your city adventures.
Thank goodness for something different! The fish and chips was just what I needed. We also had burgers that were good and a backed potato. It's very roomy inside and the staff are just as nice as can be.

This is a great pub for watching sport ⚽️ in the centre of Rome. There are 1-2 big TVs in every room. The food is pretty good for pub food and great value for money. The only negative was that it took far too long to get drinks. We ordered 2-3 times, each time, but we’re waiting 20-25 mins before receiving our drinks order.
Duke — Google review
A wonderful Irish pub right in the heart of Rome! 🍀 The atmosphere is cozy and authentic, with great music, friendly staff, and an excellent selection of beers and cocktails. The food is delicious — especially the burgers and fish & chips 🍔🍺. Perfect place to relax, watch live sports, or enjoy a pint with friends after a long day exploring the city. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a warm and lively pub experience in Rome!
Emin H — Google review
If you’re a beer and pub lover, you definitely need to visit this spot in Rome. The beer is delicious, the food is excellent — don’t miss the shepherd’s pie! The staff is friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!
Olena Y — Google review
Perfect place if you want to get quick drinks on a hot day in Rome. We had some drinks over casual food and absolutely loved the food and service. Highly recommend Magners irish cider and grenadine mix beer if you’re into sweetish beers. Loved chicken wings and pepperoni flat bread/pizza.
Akshat B — Google review
We loved it here. Came at around 8 and stayed until close at 2! We bought a lovely little t-shirt too! Karaoke and Open Mic was great! Service was so friendly and everyone was happy to talk to you!
Harriet T — Google review
We were craving some classic pub food after a week of Italian pasta and the food hit the spot! Extremely tasty!! I had the grilled chicken breast with roasted potatoes and salad (5/5)- wonderful taste! My husband had the burger with fries (he’d rate 4/5) and the wings (4/5). The atmosphere is really fun! We like the dark wood decor. The night we came was karaoke which was fun! Our server wasn’t the most attentive so I deducted a star for that.

Lounge
Scholars Lounge Irish Pub is a renowned establishment in Rome, managed by authentic Irish staff. It has received multiple international awards and is conveniently located in the city center. The pub boasts two rooms and two floors with a capacity of 1000 people, offering an extensive selection of international beers and Italy's largest whiskey collection. Despite being relatively new to the scene, Scholars Lounge has gained popularity, particularly among Americans in Rome.
Great location, music and vibes. The bar can get very busy and lively. The bartenders are super friendly however the security are NOT so be careful. The vegan burger was very juicy as so was the Cheeseburger. It didn’t come with fries so we had to order it separately. There are plenty of seating indoor and some outside too. There are two rooms separated with different music with a different vibe/age group. They will Id you at the door if you come in the evening.

Came here to watch Formula 1 race after seeing this was a popular place to come watch the Italian Grand Prix. The drinks and food were incredible and about what I expected to pay. The service was sub par, granted it really busy which I understand. But from time we sat down the staff passed by us a dozen times before we had to get their attention to even get menus. And made you feel like the jerk for asking them something. I only wished they played the sound of the race but it still a great bar. If you plan to get here come early to get a spot and order everything as soon as you get that menu in advance because the staff won’t come back.

I mean, for being in *Rome*, this is a pretty good representation of an Irish Pub. Americans recognize the vibe of Irish pubs in the USA, and Europeans certainly get it. Overall I'd say it's pretty on par. Good A/C. Clean bathrooms, but if you're gonna use the men's room - they're pretty 'traditional' (troughs and weird doors). Wasn't sure how to order food or drink; they have waiters and such, but they didn't come to the table - so we went to the bar to order. Not sure if that was the way to do it. Burger and cheddar sticks were delicious.

Place to be for football in rome. Will show every match simultaneously, if you’re lucky you’ll have your match on the big screen with commentary and witness Big Dan Burn curl a worldy of a header into the net, or something similar. Guinness was top notch, moretti a bit flat & served in a guinness glass which felt illegal. Live music often on so a great irish touch as always
Taylor — Google review
Finally! A place with some filling food! Super Nacho chili con carne was great! Try the baby Guinness is delicious! Great ac, atmosphere and comfortable benches! One of the best restaurants I’ve been in Italy thus far!
Mike M — Google review
A very good quality and authentic Irish bar in central Rome - I've been enough dodgy ones around the globe to tell the difference!!. It has the genuine feel of a good Irish pub, with friendly Irish staff (unusual in most 'Irish bars' across Europe these days). Lots of good quality beers on tap and at reasonable prices. We ate burgers and fries (what else?) but the food menu looked quite interesting, with lots on offer. And yes- they show the Irish games on big screen. Would definitely go back
Declan M — Google review
Service is ok but the food and drinks are really great. We went in a Friday when they had live Traditional Irish music. It was great. They also have a large selection of whiskey

Popped in to watch some international soccer games whilst visiting Rome for a few days. Very lively venue, just happened to have karaoke 🎤 after the football. Friendly staff and probably closest venue to a pub in Rome.

Shamrock is an Irish pub located near the Colosseum, offering a cozy and authentic atmosphere. The interior is adorned with football scarves from various clubs, making it a popular spot for football fans. Despite its popularity, the pub maintains a laid-back vibe and is not overrun by noisy crowds. It's known for being a favorite among A.S. Roma and Lazio supporters.
5 stars – Great Vibes at Shamrock! Shamrock is hands down one of the best local bars we found in Rome! The atmosphere is super chill and welcoming, with a great mix of locals and travelers. The staff are incredibly friendly and made us feel like regulars from the moment we walked in. Drinks were well-made, the prices were fair, and the vibe was just perfect for a fun night out. Whether you’re looking to relax with a pint or enjoy some lively conversation, Shamrock is the spot. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Rome and want to experience a great local bar with genuine hospitality!
Isabel L — Google review
Great pub close to the Colosseum! Reasonably priced beers. We paid around €25 for five pints and a bottle of water. Love the atmosphere! There’s some outdoor seating too
Kate H — Google review
Great little bar in Rome friendly staff offering great beer nice inside and outside seating very friendly spot I would definitely recommend
Lee D — Google review
Food was good. It was nice to get a burger, after eating pizza and pasta. Service was good. This was your typical bar/pub. Decor was cool. They have a foosball table in the back for 0.50 euro.
Justin C — Google review
Met and hung out with people from all over the world in this pub. Stopped for one drink and stayed for a few hours. It was so much fun.
Brian M — Google review
We stopped by Shamrock for a quick drink after visiting the Colosseum and ended up staying for hours. The owner was warm and welcoming, even switching the TV to the Turkish volleyball match. The snacks were delicious, especially the homemade potato wedges and onion rings, and we even left with gifted t-shirts. A truly unforgettable experience, highly recommended.🙌🏻
Ipek G — Google review
Nice Irish bar not far from the Colosseo. Air con and WiFi to break away from the heat. Good place to watch sport. Good selection of drinks at a good price for the location.
Caitlin B — Google review
I didn't expect to find a pub this good in Italy. If this was in my neck of the woods in the UK I would be here all the time. The atmosphere was exactly what I love in a pub, and there was an excellent selection of drinks on tap, my favourite of which was the Paulaner. The place is decorated with football scarves, they even had a team fairly local to where I live, and they're in league 2. So any football fan would probably like the decor. The pub attracts lots of tourists and I ended up speaking to quite a few, swapping recommendations and tales. At the end of my five night stay, I had come here three times!

Irish pub
The Fiddler's Elbow is a well-established Irish theme pub located near Santa Maria Maggiore in Rome. It has been serving patrons since 1976 and is still under the ownership of Gioacchino Bottigliero. The pub is known for its live music sessions, offering a variety of genres from traditional Irish music to jazz and rock. Additionally, it screens major sporting events and hosts cultural gatherings.
Lovely little bar just 10 minutes walk from Termini. Was quiet even though 3pm premiership games were on, the owner said it tends to be busier for Serie A games. Either way all premiership games were on spread out across the bar. €6.50 for a Guinness, decent drop as well
Mikey F — Google review
This is very much a local’s spot in that it seemed to comprise entirely of local people (pretty cool to find as a solo traveller) but it also seemed they weren’t that keen to make new friends, which is fair too. Decent drinks, cool decor, and seats at the bar still make this place a fun stop on your tour of Rome!
Madison R — Google review
If you want to go to an Irish bar, enjoy good beer and food, this is not the place for you. They serve no food at all except for potato chips and other snacks like that. I had a Harp beer, which is my favorite Irish lager, and it had obviously gone bad in the Keg. There was absolutely nothing Irish about this bar. The waitress was excellent. No complaints at all about the service. It’s just not an Irish bar.
Benjamin G — Google review
Typical Irish Pub, first one in Rome. It's been here almost 50 years. Good service, good beer :)
Paweł M — Google review
Genuine, lovely bartender. Worked here for years, from japan, spoke english so well as lived in England back in the day. Down to earth, if you're giving the good vibes, they will give it back. One of the locals heard me talking about my mosquito bites, he runs out to his car and get his repellent for me. Don't listen to the bad reviews, probably tourists that don't understand how to conduct themselves in different places. Great Irish pub, real pub atmosphere. Will come back :)

The Druid's Den is a cozy Irish pub located in the Monti district, offering a traditional atmosphere with live music, sports on TV, and a selection of beer and pub grub. Established by the Bottigliero brothers to recreate Dublin's Temple Bar district in Rome, this small but lively spot hosts folk gigs on Monday nights, karaoke sessions, and even celebrates Swedish traditions like St. Lucia.
Greeeeat place to go in Rome! Drinks are cheap and they have a great atmosphere. The attendee is also very nice and welcoming to tourists.

Went here on matchday. Great atmosphere. Service was very good. I didn't have anything to eat, so I can't comment. Toilet access was a bit of a problem. Beer prices were pretty competitive for Rome. Will go here again. Recommended.

Fairly authentic Irish pub down a little side street in Rome. Went looking for a TV showing the Scotland game but they didn’t have the game. Can imagine it can get quite lively at times both indoors and outside. Guinness was quite good and the bar staff were friendly!

The beer was good. Service was fine. No atmosphere except for things hanging on the walls. No food, boiler plate music, not really an Irish bar.

During my recent visit to Rome, I popped into The Driuds Den bar. I did research the area where I was staying, and this bar was close to my hotel. I popped in one evening for a pint of 🍺 and a brandy. The barman wasn't Irish,he was an Italian but understood English well. He took my order promptly and was polite. Regarding my beverages, they were good. The going rate for a pint is €7 and a single spirt was €7.50 . I can't say the atmosphere when I was there was lively or particularly Irish. However, it was a Wednesday night. Overall, it was ok, and my drinks went down well.
Martin E — Google review
Great place with great Guinness. The staff are really friendly and very efficient. I was there on what was a really busy night for them, but there was very little waiting at the bar. Esmerelda, the member of staff working that night, was worth her weight in gold. Oh, and the Labrador is just the best.

Best Irish Pub in Rome! Wonderful staff, such a good laugh, and amazing cocktails! Has a proper Irish Pub feel to it, lovely music and really livens up in the evenings too. Great night here 😁 Strongly recommend

This Irish pub was a nice surprise on our last night in Rome. We walked in on some excellent rock and metal music and a lively vibe. The beer selection is nice and varied with both local and international classics, though whatever we took was kind of pricey. Still a good night out.

Upon arriving in Rome, my friend and I wanted to grab a drink, and I thought I had been here previously, so we paid a visit. Long story short, it wasn’t the place I thought it was, but it was pretty good anyway. The pub has a nice outdoor terrace, but it was full and we stayed inside. They have a good variety of draft beers and drinks, the American barista was nice and friendly and prices ok, could be lower but we’re used to paying much for alcohol. Didn’t get any food, although I’d have appreciated a few chips or peanuts with our drinks. Overall a good pub worth visiting.

We didn't eat here but visited a couple times after dinner. Great place tp meet and chat with fellow travelers. Neil the bartender is fun and attentive! Finnegan Irish Pub is a popular spot in the historic Monti district of Rome, conveniently located near the Cavour metro station. It's known for its authentic atmosphere and cold pints of Guinness that attract expats and locals alike. As the only Irish-owned pub in Rome, it's a go-to destination for English, Scottish, and Irish football matches as well as bar games and quiz nights.
Nice beer bar with lots of screens to watch sports events, like Premier League and F1 in different rooms of the bar. Self-service. The interior is very spacious and cozy. They don't have food or menu options but lots of beer options and various flavors.

Lovely place for some great beers to enjoy with a sunny view of Rome’s hidden alley ways! They also had live sports on TV inside, but the vibe was too good not to enjoy our drinks outside!
Alexandra Ș — Google review
Typical Irish pub experience. Good selection of drinks. They don’t serve warm food, but they allow outside food (at least from the pizza place a few doors down). Multiple rooms with TVs so you can catch most live sporting events (we came in early to ask if something would be on later, and when we arrived they had switched a TV to it). They also have a window service and some patio seating.

Outstanding pub!!!!! Very welcoming and the 3 barman who were working were nothing but polite, chatty and funny. We had a few drinks in here while there was a thunderstorm and we loved it. The guinness was very good which was a pleasant surprise and of course the baby guinness are also good. Highly recommended. Thank you

Four Green Fields is an Irish-themed pub with a cozy atmosphere and dark wood interiors. It offers a wide selection of beers on tap, including classic Irish names like Guinness, Harp, and Kilkenny. The menu features burgers, steak, pasta, and daily specials that receive high praise for their taste and portion sizes. Visitors appreciate the friendly staff and excellent service. Some caution against ordering the large burgers or bruschetta due to their size or texture but highly recommend the breakfast croissants.
Great place! We got fast service, big beers, tasty bar food (fries and snacks). It's a fun environment and affordable. The staff was reasonably friendly. I like having various versions of bars and pubs; this place is a win. Highly recommend.

Visiting a friend in the area & searching for a decent pint of Guinness. Happy to say I found it! Only giving 2 stars, as the female waiting staff got progressively ruder every time we came back! If you crave Guinesss, I would recommend. If you want a sociable atmosphere and friendly staff, I would avoid!

My Husband and I loved our experience! The Roasted potatoes with steak and the fries and kabobs were everything! A lot of food with great price! Excellent service!

The waitress yesterday was amazing with really good service. Unfortunately today was an awful experience. We wanted to sit outside (five people) and they promised us to seat us together once people leave. Thus we were not allowed to move tables together. When people left, they just told some other people to sit there. As if that would not be enough, they didn't bring us our very simple orders. Yesterday I would have given the service 5/5 stars, today it would be 1/5. Super unfortunate.

Excellent food, friendly staff and conpetitely priced. A good pint if Guinness too. Beware of ordering burgers for an evening meal. They look good, taste great but are enormous unless you have an equally enormous appetite. Be careful if the bruschetta - again taste great, but the bread base could pose problems with your teeth. The breakfast croissants are exceptional especially the vegan orange one. All in all, excellent place visited every day of our visit except Monday when it is closed.

I wasn't inclined to take a photo of the food here until I had inhaled half of my burger and realised I missed home. Egg on a burger, medium, with real bacon...... in Roma!!!! Oh my God. I will be coming back not just for the beer selection but for that real bacon and egg hit on a burger. Potentially the best burger in Roma.

Irish pub
Tucked away in a charming alley near the Imperial Forums and Monti's central piazza, The Surge is a popular Irish pub in Rome. Despite its name, it offers a relaxed atmosphere unless there's a Roma or Lazio game on, during which it transforms into a lively hub of football enthusiasm. This cozy spot is perfect for enjoying a pint of beer while soaking up the trendy Monti neighborhood.
A great Irish pub with a great selection of beers on tap and a great selection of spirits, warm and welcoming atmosphere in the centre of Rome also we could watch football so that was great and on weekends there’s live music and I definitely recommend to try the hot dog, one of the best I’ve ever had ! Will be definitely returning when in Rome again. All of the staff very welcoming and providing excellent service!

It is a great mix of locals and tourists. A dam good pint of Guinness, I've had a lot worse in the UK. If I lived in Rome, this would be my local.

Very cool bar, with good drinks selection and decor. Midweek when I went so pretty quiet but looks like it might be great fun on the weekend with a stage for live music.

One hundred eighty!!! Proper Irish bar, hidden around corner from main tourist boulevard and monuments.Awesome bartender Robert, fast to fill pints or flip a burger! But my five stars are for being “Best Dart Bar in Rome”! (The only one i found anyway! According to Robert there’s one called Finnigan’s with boards too!). Dart area is a cozy couch cave, but has two legit boards, welled-play but Winmau5, oches and digital counter too for the mathphobic! Tell Robert that I sent you!

Finding a Scottish bar anywhere is a recipe for a good time. Thank you Roberto for serving up a few mean Captain and Cokes for me and two Moscow Mules for my husband. You were a 1 man show and you handled all your orders with grace and precision.

We stumbled upon this Irish Pub seeking refuge from a shower that is called “water bomb” in Italy: it comes suddenly and the rain drenches you in a matter of seconds. The bar is located in the heart of Rome, at waking distance from the Fontana di Trevi. It has a small, yet cozy bar and several tables both indoor and on their outdoor patio (on a very busy street). They also have pool tables. We returned to this place a few other times during our stay, and found it always full of locals. However, we just had drinks: they have a good selection of beers. The staff was very friendly, and the prices were moderate. We will definitely come back next time that we’re in Rome!

I cannot give the food a rating as we did not eat here. We just stopped by after 20+ hours of flying and had a drink. A lovely way to start our trip and the staff were very lovely. Some seating just out on the street allows you to watch the world go by whilst drinking a nice cold beverage on a hot Rome day

Great old fashion Irish pub. it has a pool table, it plays football and rugby, it has two screens. It serves delicious food. We spent three nights playing pool all evening great atmosphere it was fun. My 10 year old daughter was given a Albert T-shirt. She wore the T-shirt next day all around Rome. Our picture is on the bar wall with the owner Sara and Roberto.

The staff is known for their helpful service and the pub has a wide selection of beers.
Stumbled across this Irish pub on our first trip to Rome and so glad we did! We stopped for a quick snack before our busy schedule and they had the friendliest and most welcoming staff! Christian suggested their famous cappuccino and a slice of their tart. He wasn’t wrong when he said it’s “one of the best”. The place is welcoming, clean, and every nook and cranny has something quirky and fun to see. I wished we were hungry enough for a meal. We will definitely come back here again when we return! Ask for Christian. He’s the best!!

Lovely Irish Pub with good beer and lots of food choices. The atmosphere was lively and enjoyable, and they had a band playing too 🌸 Food portions were big, and everything was reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly, and we were especially appreciative of the helpfulness and kindness of our waiter both times we went - we didn't catch his name, but he was Tunisian, and made a lot of effort throughout the evening :) Would definitely recommend! ✨

Unfortunately, the eggs, bacon, and sausage didn’t have much flavor. The breakfast was not very hot, even though it should have been served warm. The coffee was just average. Since it’s also a pub, I think it’s better to come here for drinks rather than breakfast. I don’t recommend it for breakfast.

They were kind and attentive and definitely made me feel welcome. The comfort of an Irish pub for a solo traveller is world-renown, and this was in a great location not far from Termini station. (Translated by Google) We took a classic sandwich, with hamburger cheddar salad, price 10 euros. On the menu there are very normal sandwiches for 18 euros and 16 euros. The sandwiches are honestly small. A sandwich without infamy and without praise. The zero coke, I asked for the can but I was told that they would put it in the glass, I asked that I wanted to pour it myself but they refused. Then I understood why, the coke was out of gas and hot so it was in the extra pour, with lemon inside and I asked to bring it back without lemon as I don't like the flavour.. But they rightly only removed the lemon.. So I'm not satisfied of the service. The pub is very nice, it also has an upper floor, the beers are good. We paid 27 euros for two classic sandwiches plus a small beer and coke.

This place is fantastic! It's a brew pub!! And they have not one but three dark beers and all are great!! The in-house dark 'Garden' is a mix between a stout and a porter. It has lots of flavor but lacks the sweet of a porter and lacks the tang of a stout. The 'Pride' is a true coconut toasted porter!! First I've have found in Europe over many years of traveling throughout. The burgers are good. The look small because the patties are thick so they are actually just tall. The fresh potato chips are very well made! Oh and good music!! Indoors and lots of space.

Absolute gem of a place! If you love beer, it's a must. Fantastic selection, even British style cask beer...the Italian brewed Best Bitter was some of the best I've had. Great craft beer bar with real quality! I’ve visited many craft and classic breweries in the world and personally completed the Pilsner beer pouring school in the Czech Republic. Here I tried Mama Kriek, Garden, and Elixir — each one different and very tasty. Mama Kriek: fruity, fresh, perfect for light beer lovers. Garden: deep stout with nice smoky flavor. Elixir: soft IPA with pleasant bitterness. Prices are slightly higher, but the quality fully justifies it. The staff is professional and friendly, and the bar has a great relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend for beer lovers! Open daily till 1 AM.

Hidden Gem! Absolutely the best Rigatoni dishes and Gnocchi. Fabulous flavours and super cheap at 10 Euros each with good portions. Bonus point for the large carafe of complimentary table water. We had beers and cokes too but I hate that some / most restaurants only offer bottled water. Nice little cozy pub! Maybe hard to find by accident but totally worth a visit or few! We have been in Rome for little less than a week and visited everyday. Plenty of different beer choices and good looking food too! Great customer service and nice atmosphere as well.

After two medium spaghetti alla carbonara in Rome, the third one was the charm. Who would believe that a pub would make a better one than the restaurants. Good price (below average), excellent food and exceptional service. If I am close by and in need of some food or drink I'm sure to go back.
Luca P — Google review
Staff was friendly and English speaking. Very quick service and friendly. Only had a meat sample and a few drinks. Not much of a view as it’s down an alley street but really nice outside covered area. Would return.
Collin K — Google review
Limited simple food, great cocktails, very friendly staff. We watched some football and had a great chat with one of the team. Great experience and nice change from being waited on in restaurants!
Nicola W — Google review
Fantastic!! Best service and drinks were so good. The bar tender even made us drinks that were not on the menu! Even the toilets are fun! Love the window couches with pillows.

Very cosy and relaxed atmosphere. Good selection of food, pastries and beers. Free wifi!

Pub
Beer garden
Beer hall
Nestled in the vibrant heart of Monteverde Vecchio, FINN pub has recently undergone a transformation that has elevated its status among local favorites. With new management at the helm, the culinary offerings have significantly improved, particularly their fish and chips, which are now considered some of the best in Rome. The pub boasts an impressive selection of English and Irish beers on tap, creating an authentic Irish pub atmosphere that is both cozy and inviting.
the loveliest place in rome!! the beer is great, the food is even better and the people are the nicest! we love it here and would definitely recommend, grazie dario e grazie a tutti

A cosy little pub! Opened in August 2018, it has a warm and friendly atmosphere, and obviously good beer! Staff are very friendly too. During the summer it has an outside eating/drinking area which is prime in such a central area. Their Finn Burger is to die for, as in if you manage to eat it... you DIE! This is Man vs Food for real. 💪🤢

One of my favorite places in Monteverde and Rome itself. My friends and I spent countless nights here! Love the garden seating and the trivia nights. The food isn’t bad either, even if the prices are a little steep. I don’t regret a single euro spent at Finn. Thank you for all the memories!

Great place to chill, meet people & enjoy food. It truly was a great spot .We will return again.

nice place, it is the same since 30 years, and i found the ambiance soothing and warm. Not the best IPA i have ever had, but well worth the visit.
Alberto C — Google review
Very accommodating, put on the wimbledon tennis final for me with audio. Ice cold beers too. Nice and cozy place. Two floors of seating. Two patio areas.
Paul P — Google review
Sweet pub in a quite residential area, which means that by lack of competitors the prices are somewhat high... however it is quite a cosy place, unlikely to get too crowded and loud which makes it ideal for a chat in front of a drink.

Lovely wokers always welcome the client with a smile, good beer the only place you can eat after 11:00.. Yammy 🍔.. Atleast something cool near my House 💪🏾💪🏾

Irish pub
Cocktail bar

Sports bar
Derry Rock Pub is a hidden gem that offers a unique experience for both tourists and locals alike. Nestled behind an unassuming metal door, this underground pub provides the perfect atmosphere to unwind with friends while enjoying a great selection of music. On special nights, you can engage in Tandem Language Exchange, practicing English and other languages with fellow patrons. Sports enthusiasts will appreciate catching live matches here, making it an ideal spot for fans to cheer on their teams.
We let our 11 year old find a pub to watch the PSG v Real Madrid game, and he found this gem. All you see is a metal door from the outside, but you walk down into the underground pub. The bartender was friendly. The drinks were great. The food was amazing. Best fries in Europe for us - London, Wales, Paris, Venice and Almafi Coast couldn’t compete, nor the rest of Rome. Not a big selection at 9pm, but it was more than good enough for us. We loved it. The kids were very happy, as well. Thank you for showing us a great time and being a wonderful host!!!!

This pub was not in anyway Irish! Staff are attentive and couldn't fault them but nothing about the place was Irish. Needs a complete overhaul and the toilet was clean but full of graffiti and a broken door and zero hand soap. We didn't eat here and I don't think I would trust the kitchen going by the rest of the place.

This was the first pub I entered the day I arrived in Rome, and I didn't change it until the end of my visit. Great selection of beers and drinks, and a great selection of people, plus the working hours. Definitely will come back.
Petar K — Google review
Oh my word, simply awful, local dudes playing rap, empty dirty pub, overpriced, everyone popped their head in and just moved on. Not Irish at all, feels like the Irish left, shame 😢

I was there all the time when I studied abroad in Rome this summer. The food was good, but the atmosphere and people I met there really made my experience amazing. This place is also great to watch football. I can't wait to come back next time I go to Rome (hopefully permanently).

Loved the derry bar, the two bar staff are welcoming especially the bar man Leonardo. They went out there way to make this Dublin late feel at home... Graci

We visited on a Thursday night around 7 and it was very quiet. This meant there was little atmosphere which was ashame because it did have the vibes of being banging bar if more people were in. As it was our last night we did move on having said we would come back next time we were in Rome. Service was great, staff friendly and helpful. I do want to experience it again when more people are in. There was a reasonable selection of beers and price was inline with other bars in the area.
