Absolutely amazing experience. Bartenders are knowledgeable and fun! Watching them make cocktails is truly a show. Everything I tried was perfectly balanced and delicious. I loved my time there so much I went twice!

This was a fantastic experience. This is an unpretentious bar, with delicious, well-crafted cocktails, and overall great service. All the drinks we had were well balanced and delicious. The vibe of the speakeasy is also very relaxed, and the staff is very attentive and gives you great recommendations. Please stop at this place if you like great cocktails paired with a soothing atmosphere.

The staff is extremely polite and welcoming. The place has a unique atmosphere that takes you back to the “good old days.” We didn’t have a reservation, but even so, the host managed to get us a table, always with great attention and hospitality. The drinks are delicious, and the music is pleasant. A solid 10 out of 10! Our only suggestion for improvement would be to have the membership form also written in English, since customers are required to sign it.

wonderful cocktail spot - they lean heavily into the speakeasy vibe. such a unique location with friendly and knowledgeable staff. in particular, the sours (pisco and delicious sour) were very well balanced and extremely tasty. we sat at the piano which was very fun but our seats did not have back rests (and many others throughout the room did not). highly recommend for a fun cocktail experience in rome!

Great drinks with a fun vibe! 5 Euros per person to become a member. Drinks were about 15 Euros each. We went for one of the more expensive ones, the Blue Blazer, and it was a fun experience to watch the bartender make it.

The most incredible speakeasy. Roberto embodies the history, traditions and showmanship of authentic bartending, and is a wonderful, entertaining host. I was travelling in Rome alone so I sat at the bar, and Roberto and the team made me feel so welcome and introduced me to other travellers to chat to. The way they bring people together is truly magic, and every inch of their service is impeccible. You need to experience this truly amazing secret gem of Rome.

Top50 bar that doesn't quite make it in my opinion, at least compared to other top50 ones that I've visited. First of all and what initially blows your mind, the bar is greatly designed, it looks fancy, neat, with astounding decoration and lighting. The drinks are quite good and tasty, we had 4 for 15 to 18 euros each so pricey, but you'd expect that from this kind of bar. The first bad surprise of the night was that after being offered still or sparkling wine, we were brought a branded bottle of water, which is a first since I understand from experience that in proper cocktail bars water is complimentary. So it's not the 3 euros for the water... It's just the bar wanting to make business out of serving water (even more in a city with quite good drinking water from the tap). Then the menu looks quite good and well explained, with 25 cocktails and a few older ones, greatly detailed so that's a plus. 3 drinks were not available and one of the first we ordered they also didn't have it which was a bit odd again, but oh well it could be just a missing ingredient. They asked us and replaced it by another similar cocktail. The ice looks neat, with the bar logo "stamped" on it, and that's about all the decoration the drinks have, there's no garnish at all which I take it's a trademark of some kind, but again you'd expect some sort of garnish on a bar like this. Lastly, aside from the menu, the waiters don't explain the drinks or give any further information on them which is another strange thing since it's usually the case on these kind of top notch bars. Ultimately, good drinks, great ambience, but pricey and lacking some extra to be a proper top50.

Ended up here after deciding to hang with new friends we met in a tipsy cooking class. Someone in the group mentioned this was ranked as a one of the top bars in the world so we gave it a try. Honestly, I would have never guessed that it was so highly ranked. Nothing wrong with it really but it seemed pretty average. Service was good. They did have extensive, interesting drink menu but ended up with a Cosmo (which was good). Drink prices were good. Idk..I live just outside New Orleans and Ive been to dozens of bars there I'd rank higher. Again, no real complaints but it was average. That said, I will take the opportunity to brag I went here given its ranking.

One of the best cocktail bars in town with inventive and interesting drinks. We especially liked the Canova and Yugen. Menu is a bit overwhelming with too many options (around 30 drinks) but the waiters were able to point us towards what we'll enjoy the most. Food is a bit of a hit or miss, buns were good but chicken skewer was mediocre with very standard flavors and could have been cooked a bit longer in my opinion. It was also a bit surprising that a bar at this scale doesn't provide water but rather you need to buy it. Maybe it's just an Italian thing but for 16euro+ per drink they could really have provided it. The location is a bit surprising and feels a bit off the beaten road but the inside is beautiful and comfortable. I would give it 9\10

Drink Kong in Rome is above par when it comes to original drink concoctions. I also had the pork bao tacos and they were delish! Only complaint is that there are more food options as they also excel in the menu they do have ☺️

In a quieter part of Rome, and the drinks are very fun and eclectic. The vibe is very unique for Italy and we enjoyed our experience. Wish we tried some more of the food.

10-24-2025 I really do not know how this place does not have 5 stars. The staff (stefanotester) were fantastic. Very attentive. The drinks were great and there bao was excellent. Great vibe. If this were in the states where i live, I would be going all the time! 10-27-25 Update- went back, was assisted by Mirko, Valerio and the service was just as good. Definitely the stop to make while on vacation. Fyi had the "Sentisi"

We had a really disappointing experience here. We ordered a cocktail that ended up being a bubble tea cocktail, something we were not told in advance, and it was nowhere written on the menu, as you can clearly see in the photo. When we asked the staff about it, instead of handling it professionally, they started bad mouthing us, calling us “dumb” and being extremely rude. On top of that, they still made us pay 30€ for it. The attitude of the staff was completely unacceptable. Unprofessional, disrespectful, and honestly just awful service. Definitely wouldn’t recommend. Ps. We got the “cocktail” called panda

It's not often I review a place whilst still at the table. That poor was it I'm sorry but I have to. So... Ordered 4 burgers and chips - yes we are in rome but the family had a craving for junk food Wife sent hers back, honestly a good vet could have brought it back to life. To say it was still mooring. Other family members was the same but she didn't want to make a fuss. Two were cooked slightly pink but perfectly fin. Presentation. Was OK, chips came in a small mettle basket. All of it on an oversize plate making it feel even smaller. It wasn't but the look and style needed some work. Customer service. The meal was replaced but the comment it's cold and not cooked was greater with no it's just pink. Honestly the fact a new one came with no issues says it all. Chief must have been mortified. Trouble is that took 10mins for fresh food so the rest had finished before she got started :( And the chips were cold when it came back, think they reserved them... she didn't complain again just paid and left Location is great service was good but not polished for a high tourist area. In all honesty, was pulled here like a mother to a flame by a relative that is a suckered for how busy it is not how good it is. Much better eating establishments near by. Some with much better reviews was steered away from as they were not busy. Price was normal city prices. Over all was disappointing. Was talked in to giving it a two I would have went lower !!!

Stopped here for drinks. Looked like a nice place and ordered wine and drinks. Ordered pinot grigio, waiter brought unopened bottle of pinot Blanco which we declined and ordered alternative drinks. Waiter still charged us €34 for the wine. Didn't notice till the morning we had been overcharged. Really bad service considering we are on holiday, you should not have to check they are doing their job right. Never be back and would definitely not recommend.

Just don’t go here. Me and boyfriend had one bruschetta pomodoro each for aperitivo. And it was all we ate in the day, and gave us diarrhea. We ordered another appetizer too, but they forgot it. They also somehow forgot our drinks, we just ordered one glass of Chardonnay.

Unfortunately, it has become completely tourist-oriented by now. In my opinion, it has lost all of its original charm. Prices are noticeably higher than those of the surrounding bars and restaurants. The seating isn’t particularly inviting or well-arranged. The only positive note was the staff, who left a good impression.

If I could give no star, I would! Terrible/no service. Attitude of the staff is rather bitchy and rude. Quality of the drinks is average and too expensive. Atmosphere in the bar totally lost. Music is too loud and there isn’t any charm left.. Not worth a visit at all.

This place is an amazing spot for drinks. Cocktails are creative and taste delightful. My server Alena was very hospital and nice. I had to come back for second time because I felt so good. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a classy chill spot in Rome.

Perfect place and atmosphere everytime I come to Rome, been here probably 10times!

Recommended by a friend, and I can't understand why. Bad first impression because I received a cold welcome. I thought the cocktails would make up for it but no -- they were very disappointing. We also received a plate of finger foods (I thought, a nice touch) but the wraps, carrots, and small bruschetta were lukewarm (meaning, they had been sitting around for some time). The ambiance is nice thanks to the piazza and ruins of the temple of Hadrian. The inside looked cool but unoriginal.

Lovely bar with great cocktails. The indoor space is limited but the outdoor area is fantastic for some drinks and a great night out. We were blown away by the cocktail selection and especially the different home-made ingredients used in the drinks. Must try: Tea Mule The staff is also friendly and can recommend the best drinks to try.

The worst restaurant I have ever been to! The service was simply awful. The staff were rude from the start, showing no care for the customers. We were still eating when, without any warning, they brought us the bill without even informing us that the kitchen was closing. A total lack of respect! Not only did they try to rush us out, but they also charged us an absurd service fee after treating us terribly. It felt like they just wanted to get rid of us as quickly as possible. A terrible, humiliating, and unacceptable experience. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll be treated with courtesy and professionalism, DO NOT COME HERE! Absolutely not recommended!

If you don't know it here.. be careful. They have a dress code and they don't mention it anywhere. I couldn't find it on IG or the website. After an hour of waiting, they arrogantly told us that my partner couldn't wear elegant shorts and a shirt. And that we should go change. (Security walked past us in the queue several times and didn't say "no”…while visibly picking people out) They told us that it was apparently written somewhere but they didn't say where. If someone isn't used to it, doesn't know it, or didn't get it from the oracle ball…… You must wear long pants if you are a man. It's a shame I wasn't in the club. I believe it would have been a nice experience. But unfortunately we didn't pack long pants.

After 45 minutes in an imaginary queue, a lady at the gate demanded reservations, while people in front of us went in no questions asked. We told her that their website clearly mentionned that no reservation is required, but deep inside we knew that she just didn't like us (early 30s couple). No one the gate even had a list to begin with.

The club had a massive line but once we got in the music was not that great in any of the spaces. The crowd is mostly around 20-25 year olds and very lively. I found it annoying that the ventilation system was not able to deal with the hevay cigarette smell.

Bouncers didn't let us in first time, as we weren't in black clothing (which was apparently the dress code). We came back dressed in black (mind we looked well, and they were letting in ppl with clothing that was not as per "dress code "). They told us that we need to leave second time, because my friend was 21. They said 23 yo was the age limit, even tho they let in a bunch of ppl that looked younger than him. One of the bouncers was very rude, he recognised us the 2nd time and told them not to let us in. Seems like they are unwelcoming towards foreigners, which is a shame.

You’re very cool large sprawling club with multiple rooms and different vibes in each one. The crowd was young but as a 40 year old, I still enjoyed myself a lot. The main room was a lot of fun w cool visuals , good sound, great DJ (tech house & techno) and easy access to drinks. I’d go back here.

Very cool clubbing experience in Rome. Excellent house music, a room for hip hop and a big done to walk around and socialize. Will definitely return!

​Campo de' Fiori has a captivating and dark history, with the philosopher Giordano Bruno being burned at the stake right here. I highly recommend looking up his story—it adds a powerful layer to the experience. Beyond its history, the piazza is a vibrant hub for both locals and tourists, filled with excellent restaurants and occasional markets. It's a wonderful place to walk through and soak up the lively atmosphere.

An amazing place with cool energy. We wanted to get here to the market, but unfortunately we came late and it was already over. But we were still very satisfied. At sunset there is an amazing light for photographers, you can take a lot of beautiful photos.

Very cool piazza. A market during the day, selling flowers, souvenirs and other items. Everything is taken down around 4-5pm, and it’s an open air piazza for the evening. Nice restaurants and usually live music.

What a wonderful part of Rome. Everything so convenient. It's a great neighborhood with family people and when you feel quite safe. So much to do in the plaza, mini restaurants and during the day there was a flea market until 5:00. Some great pizza, restaurants and some soup or gelato

I had the most gorgeous server while visiting here! She made me feel very welcome while having a cocktail by myself. The menu was detailed and interesting, with brilliant cocktails to go with it. The blue cheese, rum and mango cocktail was my choice and definitely one to try.

Great inventive drinks with cheap buffet. The olace gets very busy very quickly after opening so try to arrive early. Keep in mind that the drinks might be too weird for mamy people so if you're generally not adventurous with flavors consider checking the menu in advance

Had an unforgettable evening at Freni e Frizioni in Rome. The atmosphere was vibrant with great music, a wide selection of beers, and a beautiful crowd. But what truly made the experience stand out were Manuel and Alessio. Their professionalism, positive energy, and welcoming attitude made me feel right at home. Special shout-out to Alessio for the amazing cocktails—each one was crafted to perfection. These two really made my visit memorable. Can’t wait to come back!

I enjoyed my time at the venue and appreciated the attentive and engaging service from the waitstaff. However, I found the atmosphere to be a bit lively, but that might be because I’m getting old.

- Made a fresh whipped cream maritozzi and cappuccino for only 2.5. Excellent quality - they are open as early as 6am which is incredible - accepts cash and credit - bathroom was available - indoor and outdoor seating

If you want to see the locals and get away from tourists a bit, I suggest coming here before noon. The cappuccino was only €1.20 and it was delicious! I also met an old Italian man who sits under the church, playing music through the speaker on his bike and doing his hobby. I’d love to see him again—he even played some Turkish music after learning that I’m Turkish. Such a lovely man.

I heartily do not recommend this establishment. The gentleman who served us looked like he was tired of life. The aperol we got is a joke at a price of 4€ (in the picture its size). In addition, instead of an orange we got half a lemon. A trap for tourists.

The vibe is authentically Roman, and the longtime staff (the guy at the till has been there for ages) add a nice touch of character. It can get pretty packed, and there aren’t tons of seats outside, so you might need a bit of patience to snag a spot, but honestly that’s part of the charm. If you’re staying in Trastevere and want an easy, super local spot for your morning coffee or an evening drink that won’t break the bank, this is your place.

I loved the spirit of the place! Aperol was delicious, also the coffee, and the croissant were very good for the price. It was a place where I had a very enjoyable time when i was at home.

Went on a Saturday evening during February to a live dj set accompanied by a guitar player from the band Jamiroquai! Pros: 1. Music was great! 2. The venue itself isn't huge so it was a bit crowded (but in a good fun way) and overall we had a great time! 3. Sound system was also great 4. There are many fans around the dance floor which is great for cooling down a bit. Some cons (hence the 4 and not 5 stars): 1. The wardrobe cost money (3 Eur per item, they wouldn't allow us to join items which is a absurd). 2. There were people smoking inside close to one of the security people, who didn't do anything about it. Note that to get a drink you need to lay first at the cashier and then go to the bartenders... Overall: recommend!👍

no seating places and the guards objected to us sitting on the floor and stairs out of the way, couldn't stand outside the club even though a dude was pissing 10 meters away from the club and they didn't seem to have a problem with that. None of us were drunk or causing trouble (as if you could get drunk from the watered down drinks, they didn't have enough ingredients for a martini but they charged 12 euros on top of the 15 euro entrance fee, with basically no alcohol). Ludicrously expensive and not worth it on a night with no live music and just some bad remixes playing, place was half empty with most people choosing to smoke outside the building as it was a more interesting use of your time than staying inside. There are so many better discos in rome I would refrain from supporting Alcazar with your business or your time.

Large, but intimate. The slight grade to the standing room allows for visibility even in the back row. It allowed me to not feel so guilty as a guy who stands 2 meters tall. Drink selection is broad and modern. The acoustics are fantastic in the whole venue. The true standout aspect is the design. It feels like an interior designer's loft. I cannot recommend enough!

Nice first impression but bad at the end. Really only deserves half a star. We arrived at the market just before the end and found great leather jackets. We bought cocktails there shortly before closing and were therefore only pushed back and forth because they close after the market to reopen. Very disorganized. Then for the opening of the live music show they started 3 hours to late no joke and we couldn't sit down while we waited because everything is reserved for special guests. Nowhere on the website was it shown that you can book standing room, seat or anything else. It's very boring during the whole waiting time. If you want to come then not on time or too early. We didn't get the money back and we left. No matter how great it would have been, no one was nice here.

Event time was listed to start at 9.30pm and it didn't start until 11pm which was very disappointing because we was nearly 1 hour walk from alcazar so we had to leave not long after they started. It's was extremely over crowded and drinks were crazily over priced. We paid €10 for 2 cokes.

Ignore the bad reviews!! We've been in Rome for 5 days and this was an amazing treat to finish the holiday off!! It was its own little paradise! We did email to book, as recommended. We stayed from 11 am to 4pm, had a lovely lunch. Yes it was more expensive than our other lunches, but was definitely worth it. 22€ for club sandwich and sweet potato fries, we could've shared it was very filling

We came to The Sanctuary for a birthday dinner and were lucky to get seats at the bar without a reservation. The food and drinks did not disappoint – we had the Vegan Orgy and the Scottish Salmon, both of which were absolutely delicious. Dessert and cocktails were just as amazing. On top of that, the atmosphere was really lovely, making it a perfect spot for a special evening.

This place is beautiful! We had a great experience coming here on a Saturday night for drinks - we got invited to skip the queue, the wait at the bar wasn’t very long and we met some interesting people! It’s a great place to go out with the girls and we felt very catered to. Bit of a stuck up vibe though, so I can imagine different people get different experiences based on the staff/people they encounter.

SUCH A FUN TIME!!! Ambiance is incredible and it has plenty of seating to lounge and rest or go dance. Met amazing friends there and the staff was so friendly and kind. Served us to the last minute before they closed! Highly recommend if you want a tropical bar/lounge bar!

Amazing dinner experience at The Sanctuary Eco Retreat. The atmosphere was magical – completely different from a traditional Italian restaurant. If you want something unique and away from the busy street-side trattorias, this is the place to go.

The service is terrible, the bartenders are unfriendly and they don’t seem friendly to new or English speaking people here. For that the drinks are so expensive it’s not a great experience. The environment is nice though, very chill atmosphere and relaxing jungle feeling

This place has so much potential with its beautiful setting, but the service was honestly terrible. My friends and I came here for the first time and went to the bar to order drinks. There were no signs or instructions on how the process worked. The bartender took our order with an attitude, gave us a receipt, and said nothing so we stood there waiting, not knowing we had to take the receipt to a different part of the bar (2 feet away). When we finally figured it out, the second bartender was also rude and asked what I ordered even though it was printed on the ticket. My friend ordered a Tito’s and sugar-free Red Bull, but the Tito’s bottle was nearly empty. Instead of grabbing a new bottle, the bartender disappeared with with empty bottle and came back with just a little more of something poured in it. My friend asked where was the new bottle and the other serve said to the other bartender they he shouldn't have done that, its not a good look. My friend asked for a refund, and the bartender said “usually we don’t do refunds, you would need to order something else.” and they gave her cash back. (she paid with a card) Great atmosphere, but the staff’s attitude and lack of professionalism ruin the experience. Definitely not worth it based on service alone. And unless you are buying beer or wine, you can't be sure if you are getting the type of liquors that you request.

I just searched “clubs in Rome” and Sharivari popped up, so we made moves ‼️ When we got there, the line was long but moved fast. Also, there was a cover charge, but we didn’t mind 🎟️ Apparently, a lot of other people had the same idea as us. I’m all for a packed club (it adds to the fun when everyone’s vibing), but this was almost too much ❌ Our group kept losing each other, and trying to get a drink—or even move—meant a lot of shoulder-bumping and sidestepping. Drinks were on the pricey side too, so we didn’t go back to the bar much 💶💶💶 The design of the club was a highlight. I grew up in a small US town, so clubs with themed rooms and multiple bars were something I only saw in places like Chicago or LA. After living in Europe a while, I’ve seen more of that—but Sharivari had its own unique, maze-like vibe that was really fun to explore 👌 The music? A super fun mix of hip hop, electronic, and those remixed crowd-pleasers that get strangers dancing like old friends 🔊 The location? Perfect 📍We could walk to late-night food after, and most of the group walked home—only one person needed an Uber. My rose and thorn for the night ⬇️ 🌹 Shoutout to the staff – Smooth check-in, friendly bartenders, and an overall professional vibe from everyone working ❤️ 🥀 Besides the sardine-level crowding and pricey drinks, the bathroom line was painfully long and when you're dancing and drinking, that’s never ideal 💔 Final thoughts 💭 If you’re down for a high-energy, packed-to-the-walls night out with good music and great vibes, Sharivari brings it. Just maybe wear comfy shoes, plan your drink ahead of time, and brace for crowds 📢

Incredible experience and would highly recommend to anyone! £15 entry with a free drink which is a great deal. The bouncers Alex and Alex were extremely helpful when my friend felt unsafe about some boys and handled the situation with kindness and respect. Definitely quite a touristy vibe but in the best way possible, music was mix of English and Spanish but all amazing music and such a great and fun vibe.

We went from club to club and this one was by far the friendliest. We as tourist was treated like locals. They even gave us free shots. Had no trouble getting entrance like at some places (sanctuary eco club) every time we walked to the bar to get more drinks the bar man said no go sit we will bring it. Good prices. Legit the best staff i have met around rome/italy. They even gave us free vip bracelets for the night club.

So my friend and I went here and the group of 5 in front of us got in no problem, we approached and the bouncer said they were at capacity unless we paid €500 to get a table. No problem we ended up getting the table and bottle service. About 20 minutes later the asked us to leave the table for another group that had allegedly booked the table. The music was alright. Overall poorly managed and I genuinely felt as if they were just gouging us because we were two men. Wouldn’t really recommend to anyone and certainly wouldn’t go back.

We visited this disco last night, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. We ordered three gin & tonics at the bar but were served something completely different - clearly mixed with soda water instead of tonic. I politely returned the drinks and told the bartender they weren’t gin & tonics. He insisted they were, even tasting it himself, and called the manager. The manager also dismissed my concern, saying I was served what I asked for. At €15 per drink, this was unacceptable. We did not drink the drinks... Later, we tried ordering gin and tonic separately at the other bar inside the same venue. The bartender told us that would cost an extra €10, so we just asked for a proper gin & tonic again. Yet again, he poured soda water. When we called it out, he quietly hid the drink under the bar and finally made a proper gin & tonic with actual tonic water. This whole experience ruined our night. We left within an hour, feeling frustrated and disrespected. We were three women in our 30s, visiting Rome for a weekend getaway - dressed nicely, behaving politely - and were met with dishonesty and poor service. Shame. Absolutely not recommended. We will never return.

Music was pretty good and they don’t allow smoking, thank goodness. Had a horrible experience at the front though - they didn’t honor the free entry for women at the door because we didn’t have a voucher, when none of their ig stories or their flyers or even the screen on the outside of the club said this was required. Scammy and shitty and forced us to pay 15 euros for women.

The stuff on the entrance was so so rude. They told us that If we don't find any women we cannot get in and we did have a reservation for 4 men. Later, we waited on the line for 1 hour and once we reached the entrance they didn't let us in because one of our friends was wearing jeans and they told us that they don't care. And we paid 80 euro for taxi. We don't recommend this place at all, especially for tourists. Age under 18.

I definitely do not recommend the club. They show that the timings are open, but they are definitely closed and they have no instructions present on the fact that they are closed and they also do not accommodate on the guest that arrive with their schedules. My clubbing experience was terrible. I came here back to back tonight, and the club showed open both nights, but the club was closed both nights that they had not updated their timings to the fact that they were closed on both nights according to the schedule I had wasted a lot of money on Uber ring and taxi drivers. I do not recommend this club yet. They are unprofessional.

Best club in Rome for techno, tech-house, progressive… they bring the best, most influencial and talented DJs of the moment such as Maceo Plex, Miss Monique, Meduza, Chelina Manuhutu, David Morales, Viviana Casabova to name names. The place is not huge and it gets very full very quickly… that’s fine if you are into clubbing anyway. The sound system is among the best I have heard and I have heard a good few in my time. You can book a table around and above the DJ console but it’sca waste of money as the are uncomfortable and you get pushed around as if you were in the middle of the floor so no poit there really. Drinks are cheap and average quality as expected. Bathrooms are ok. Wardrobe service is a bit of a nightmare, expect long queues to retrieve your coats so you better leave them in the car if possible. All in all it’s a great club and I totally reccommend it… Lastly, be sure to get on the list via their booking app service.

I came 3 days always sent me home. They donot enter without girl. And security and people very rude. Security doesn't allowed if people talk with other people, it's like he reserved all girls for him self. Music from YouTube and drink 10 €. I donot recommend at all as a tourist. And inside people smoke and just push all the time.

Absolutely horrible organisation. Having to buy tickets to get a drink is the worst system. Do better. And they ran out of beer 1hr in. And they apparently don't believe in air-conditioning during summer. I also no toilet seat or tissue.

I’ve never eaten anything other then Italian food in Rome, 😅 Absolutely loved it here. Great atmosphere, great venue, great staff, great drinks and most importantly fantastic food. Flavour is full, wallet is empty but worth it. Would happily return next time I’m in Rome.

The staff were both kind and professional, from the warm welcome at the door to the thoughtful menu suggestions—service was excellent throughout. The food, especially the deserts, lived up to Zuma’s reputation: good quality, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I also appreciated the variety of vegetarian options, which makes it a great choice for guests with dietary preferences. Overall, a very enjoyable experience.

We had been waiting for the opportunity to travel to a city that has Zuma and to go there for dinner, expecting exceptional service and food, as the restaurant’s reputation suggests. I made the reservation more than a month and a half in advance. We arrived on time, but when we approached the table, the hostess said she needed to check again if that was indeed our table, so we stood waiting in the middle of the restaurant for a few minutes before being seated. I asked if we could move to a table by the wall because I didn’t feel comfortable sitting in the middle, surrounded by other tables that were too close together, but unfortunately, that wasn’t possible since the restaurant was full. Still, I expected we would get a better table considering that I booked well in advance, at a time when all time slots were still available, meaning the restaurant wasn’t anywhere near fully booked back then. The waiter gave us the menus, which were very interesting and extensive. However, since this is an oriental fusion restaurant, it was quite difficult to decide what to order because the dishes and names are not something you encounter every day. The waiter never came to ask if we needed help choosing, to make a recommendation, or to explain any of the dish names, which would have been very helpful. We ordered cocktails twice, and both times the waitress, upon reaching our table, had to ask another waiter whether those drinks were meant for us. We noticed the same thing happening with food at other tables, the waiters seemed rushed and unsure where to take each dish, completely lacking any expression or warmth. Our reservation was at 8:00 p.m. Around 9:20 p.m., we asked for the menu again because we wanted to order more sushi, after already having had three starters and two main dishes. At that point, we were told that a new reservation was coming in and we needed to leave the table. If the policy is that each table can only be occupied for 1 hour and 30 minutes, then the hostess should have told us that upon arrival, and the waiter should have reminded us before taking the last order. In the end, we simply asked for the bill and didn’t order any dessert, even though I was really looking forward to trying Zuma’s desserts. I’m very disappointed because Zuma turned out to be such a letdown, even though we were so excited to go there and try this interesting cuisine. They should really work on improving their service and the overall experience, which, in addition to good food, should include attentive and engaged staff who assist with the menu, check if everything is all right with the meal, and genuinely make guests feel taken care of.

This experience was incredible. The staff were so attentive, the food was delicious, and the vibes were immaculate. Nothing against Italian food, but how many times can we eat pizza and pasta 🤌🏼 This was such a breath of fresh food. My husband and I left feeling full and satisfied. This place is special. We do go to cocktail bars a lot and this is one of the best I've experienced. We were there early on a weeknight, so a very chill vibe. Cocktails were outstanding. Unique cocktails and presented with some flare, but not over-the-top showy. Bartenders take real care in the preparation and the results are some really unique drinks.

Awesome neighborhood! Testaccio feels like the heart of modern day Rome in many respects. There are some great shops around, a nice park, and an awesome market nearby.

The entire experience was incredible thanks to Herman. We went to a couple places with a group of 5 people from the US and Albania, and the 3 other places that we went to were either lame or turned us away for the majority of our group being American…But not this nightclub. They made the experience magical & the DJ was on point. As long as you’re being respectful and not being a drunk POS, you’ll be fine. This nightclub is an oasis of fun, just make sure you’re very respectful to the people & culture, and you’ll be fine. Highly recommend for 25-35 and older. Extremely fun and absolutely a place to visit if you’re trying to experience the Roman nightclub life!

I’m deeply disappointed with our experience at this venue. Despite having a confirmed reservation for a group of six women, we were denied entry at the door — without explanation — simply because we are over 40. Age discrimination is not only unacceptable, it’s also incredibly short-sighted for a business that claims to offer a welcoming atmosphere. We were well-dressed, respectful, and excited for a fun evening. Instead, we were turned away, humiliated, and left standing outside while younger groups were allowed in without issue. It’s 2025 — age should not be a barrier to enjoying nightlife, especially when customers have followed all protocols and made proper reservations. I urge the management to reflect on their policies and the message they’re sending. We won’t be returning, and I hope others think twice before supporting a place that discriminates based on age.

Weirdest experience ever as a craft beer lover, that goes out his way to find great beer bars across the world. The beer is excellent and the server with the dark beard is a master at beer service. The guy with a top knot clearly doesn’t like non locals in the bar, so was incredibly rude and went out of his way to be weird at every opportunity. Great selection, great beer, great beer service. Made to feel totally uncomfortable by the glass collector. Very odd. We left after one beer as we were made to feel totally unwelcome.

Best beers we found on tap in Rome. Bar is small with a bit of street art feel with the decor. Music was mix of Rock and downbeat trip hop. Would be 5 stars if the bar staff were more friendly.

Very nice bar with good atmosphere. We tried the tap beer of Spezial Lager - Rauch Bier (smoked beer) and Ritual Lab - Too Nerdy (IPA). Both were amazing. However, we didn't like the draft beer of Cantina Errante with Red Color. It tasted kind of the mix of beer and wine! All in all, we liked here a lot and will come back again.

Iconic craft beer bar in Rome´s Trastevere neighborhood. Quality rotating selection of brews, cozy setting both indoors and outdoors. When busy, the place can feel a bit hectic, but that is also part of the charm. No food offered on the premises, but they welcome bringing items from the businesses nearby. Definitely they have something for everyone, and for me on this occasion I was excited to revisit Thomas Hardy´s ale on its 2024 vintage, which was delicious and memorable.

Honestly, my first night in Rome and I heard from people that this was a really good club. I’m a black guy living in Japan traveling just taking in the world so I came to see what is like here. I’m head to toe Balenciaga, probably the only black guy. And this guy has me standing there for one hour at the front of the line just to tell me no you can’t come in. It’s closed and it’s not closed and he’s just letting everyone else in around me and I just had a terrible experience wasted my time, luckily there was a taxi right outside so I just left I would definitely not be going there if you’re a person of color traveling I wouldn’t suggest going there either or if your Air Force ones aren’t disgustingly dirty, because the only thing they were in, it was a terrible experience. And literally everybody’s wearing fake Louis Vuitton shoes so weird.

I am a master’s student in Economics in Italy. My friend and I decided to go out and enjoy the moment. We paid the entrance fee and went to Piper club, as many people had recommended it, saying it was a great place. Unfortunately, things turned out quite differently. We took a couple of pictures together, and I also took a photo of my friend alone. At that moment, a security guard approached us and started shouting, demanding that we leave the club. Honestly, it felt like an act of racism—I can’t see any other explanation. The guard literally threw us out, and we didn’t even get the chance to have a drink. It was deeply upsetting. I have never experienced such humiliating treatment before. It was so hurtful that I ended up crying. I decided to message the club’s administrator to ask why we were treated this way. The only reply I got was a cold, indifferent “ok.” How can people treat others like that? I will never forget this experience. It left a bitter feeling and was my first encounter with such blatant disrespect.

Last night, I was kicked out onto the street just for standing on the stairs for more than 3 seconds. The security guards were extremely rude, pushing me and my friend around and treating us very harshly. I do not recommend this club at all — it’s complete garbage!

I have been waiting all this time to go to this club but it was FULL of 15 year olds wiating in a huge line smoking and even skipping the line in front of us. After 35 minutes of waiting in a useless line as we even asked three people where should the Erasmus people stand and every time they told us a different line we decided to quit and leave . I dont recommend anyone above 25 years old to go there as its just a club for kindergarten kids who sneaked out their parents home to come to a club who serves minors . Pitty

They discriminated against us just for being men and Spaniards when there were minors who entered for free without asking for identification. With the excuse that we did not enter because we were drunk when there were several people from the same club who knew it was a lie. I guess getting money without taking into account any morals is better for them than not letting in any 16 year old kid. Don't go if you don't want to be discriminated against and if you don't want to enter a club full of kids and minors. Worse than a bad experience, don't come.

This is a decent club. It was something to do. Admission was 15 euro. But they gave you a free drink. Drinks were also about 15 euro. I don't quite remember. Expect to wait to get inside.

We came here for dinner and we were quite underwhelmed by the food. The pasta dishes were good but nothing better than we have tried elsewhere in Italy and unfortunately neither of us enjoyed our main dishes. Ambiance and service were both fantastic as were the cocktails and bartender. I would definitely recommend this as somewhere to go for cocktails and a nice vibe. If we had just come for drinks it would be rated 5 stars.

Amazing Roman dishes executed to perfection. Good service and plenty of GF options. The gricia is super and the amatriciana even more special. Baccalà stupendous and very delicate. Cicoria well seasoned. Attentive service and Amex is accepted here.

The croquettes are spectacular: a light, crispy bite with juicy, flavorful meat and a perfectly balanced creamy sauce. A 10/10 dish—I only wish there were more of them. The rigatoni carbonara is equally impressive. Perfectly al dente pasta, a silky and intense sauce, guanciale in two textures (crispy shards and soft, fatty cubes), strong pecorino that lingers beautifully, and just the right touch of pepper. It can feel a bit heavy toward the end, but overall it’s a fantastic plate. The whole experience is truly pleasant. The place itself is beautiful but laid-back—not pretentious, just a genuine traditional Italian spot. The staff are outstanding, prices are fair, and the cost-benefit is excellent. My guess? This restaurant could easily be looking at a Michelin star in a few years. For now, it’s already a solid 9/10.

Exquisite place. Best carbonara and other pastas. Our group asked about amaros, the manager and staff quickly manufactured a plan for an amaro tasting later that night. It was incredible. I would go back to rome and would not miss this spot. Frankly, I would stay somewhere nearby again just to enjoy this place🤌

Good food and good atmosphere. Went there due to AmEX dining abroad credit. Carbonara & amatriciana were tasty and good portions. Starters of vitello tonnato and cod croquette also flavourful. Tiramisu super nice and fresh. Slightly annoyed with 7 eur charge for table cover when everyone else around got offered bread and we didn't. I am fine with paying table cover provided the service matches the charge. The response from the lady on the reservation/ welcome desk wasn't good as well. She should definitely be more friendly and less aggressive.

Its so annoying how solo travelers are treated in Rome - Entire restaurant was empty but the hostess made me sit on the bar for dinner so im giving 4 stars bec i am paying money just like the others and i should be able to sit where I want. Thankfully, the food was amazing and the bartenders were very attentive. Damiano was the sweetest and provided good recommendations.

Ate here with my family, helped by the fact it is part of the Amex dining credit scheme. Had booked and restaurant was full. Food was a bit mixed, service fine. Our table was by the till and glass storage so it was a bit annoying as the staff kept pushing behind us to get things. Croquettes good but only 2 per portion. Fettuccine dish tasted of nothing but fish, even though it wasn't a fish dish. On reflection we should have sent it bsck. Carbonara was incredibly salty. They kept leaving bread on the table and when the bill came each paper bag full was charged for. There are better places to eat in this part of Rome. It is more style.over substance.

If you ever get the chance to visit The Court in Rome, right in front of the Colosseum, do yourself a favor and skip it. This is hands down one of the worst rooftop bars I’ve ever been to. Honestly, it’s nothing more than a tourist trap, and I fell right into it. From the start, the staff made it seem like they were doing us a favor by letting us in. Their attitude was arrogant, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. They seem to forget that the very “tourists” they look down on are the ones paying their salaries. Once inside, seating is completely unfair, only five high tables actually face the Colosseum, while everyone else gets stuck on low couches and tables crammed near the entrance. Instead of enjoying the main attraction, you’re left staring at the backs of the lucky few in front of you. To make matters worse, they force you to order two cocktails per person at €27 each. The drinks are honestly awful, syrupy, poorly made, and barely resembling cocktails at all. In total, I ended up paying €103 for two terrible cocktails, one glass of wine, and a beer. Save yourself the disappointment and the money. You can spend that amount on a much better experience elsewhere in Rome. This place is nothing but an overpriced scam with a view you’ll probably never get to enjoy.

The cocktails really surprised me! we loved both rounds! The view is famous, but honestly, it wasn’t as stunning as expected. The drinks, however, were incredible, no wonder it’s the Top 50 bars. We booked a week in advance and had to order at least two cocktails per person, which felt reasonable for a Saturday night. And the complimentary food was fine, but nothing special.

A high end experience with delicious cocktails and snacks. But do not go in warm weather before 730pm, HOT!! They did give us an umbrella to hold. I loved the olives so much, they sent me home with a giant container of them. Need a reservation and must follow dress code.

We had the tasting experience which basically requires you to pay at least 55 euros per person for 2 drinks and some snacks. The snacks were really basic and not worth at all the experience especially the pizzas, the drinks on the other hand were really good but not worth the price either (27 euros per drink). Overall the view was amazing but there are must better bar experiences in Rome at much more affordable price. The fact that they force you to order a minimum of 55 euros per person and that they close the bar after 2 hours to makes you leave for other groups is also a no go for me.

I celebrated my birthday at The Court and it was absolutely unforgettable! The view of the Colosseum is breathtaking — truly one of a kind. The atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed, the cocktails are crafted to perfection, and the service was outstanding. Definitely one of the most beautiful spots in the city — perfect for a special occasion!

Truly a wonderful bar; the atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the food was delicious. You can tell that each and every ingredient is of high quality and prepared with care. The portions are just right in order to be able to try several different menu items. The Morellino di Scansano was great as well, despite being the cheapest of the red wines by the glass. Thoroughly enjoyed this really authentic enoteca experience !

I actually wrote home (texted) that this was the best lunch I’ve ever had. Sat outside on a beautiful afternoon for about 2 hours just soaking in the fresh and delicious plates. The bread was incredible, as were the tomatoes, peppers,olive oil and that cheese! Wow, it was so beautifully fresh and flavorful. I can’t wait to go back!!

Stopped by around 4:15pm on a Tuesday for a glass of wine before dinner and we had a lovely time! It’s clear that the staff know their wine and they were able to give us a recommendation for a bottle shop for a wine they didn’t carry. We’ll definitely be back on our next visit to Rome!

This place is such a hidden gem! A tiny wine bar with an amazing vibe that seems to be well-loved by locals. They have a great collection of wine and some nice little appetizers to pair with it. Perfect spot to enjoy a glass or two before heading to your main event.

Excellent selection of wines by the glass and also by the bottle. Selection of small bites including olives, burrata, cold cuts (charcuterie), cheeses, artichokes and pomodorini. I enjoyed a glass of Etna Bianco and a glass of Langhe Nebbiolo with a burrata served with pomodorini and everything was delicious. Good service. Recommended for wine enthusiasts.

Obsessed with this little wine bar! We arrived around 6, just in time to beat the evening rush and snag a cosy table (after a wait at the bar). The wine selection was great, the food was super fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere was amazing. Staff were friendly and polite even though they were super busy - would 100% visit again!

We stumbled across this little place during our walk in Rome. It is a quiet street (from my experience) and we enjoyed sitting outside under the shade provided by the umbrellas. The staff were sweet and spoke just enough English for it to be a smooth experience. The service was quick and although we were sitting outside we weren’t forgotten by the staff. The food tasted great and we loved that they had a little tasting menus for olive oils. Overall would definitely recommend.

An absolute must visit if you're not ready to end your night out at 2AM. A true speakeasy, I would've walked right by it if my friends didn't point it out. Excellent service, delicious cocktails and some very cool people hanging out. Great for IG pics also if you're into that. Highly, highly recommended!

Each cocktail is artistry in a glass We had a wonderful mid-week evening with Roberto who looked after us from our arrival… until our departure in the wee hours. I love a good speakeasy and this one did not disappoint. My mom and I ended up here after having dinner at the restaurant that is attached to it. We were late walk ins and they let us have dinner in the speakeasy given that we were finished by 9:30. We finished early and as I was seeing the staff set up I was very intrigued. I asked if we were able to stay and have drinks when the speakeasy opened up and they very graciously allowed us. The drinks were well crafted and clearly there was a lot of thought put into the creation of each one. The bartenders took special care creaking each drink. There were not run of the mill cocktails they were pure mixology. The atmosphere was very nice and kind of a dark academia, which I loved. The bartender listened to my mom on what she likes and doesn’t like and hit the nail on the head with every drink. I want to go back.

I went on a special night where they were doing a ‘bar show’. This bartender from Madrid delivered 100% greatness on all the cocktails. Staff were upbeat and friendly. The ambiance is uniquely speakeasy themed. The DJ was killing the transitions. The crowd was cool. Worth the wait to get in.

The place is well designed, but the service was awful. We came early around 00:00, so we found a couch that available (we even asked to be sure its not vip or some BS and been told its alright). Around 02:00 some rude person just came to us and told us to move (not even nicely) i bet someone just bought a bottle so they don’t care to move us after we finish our drinks, and another bodyguard didn’t wait and kept pushing us. One of the best clubs in Rome. Open from around 12:30 am till 5 am, so don’t trust the official time posted on google maps. Great location right next to Barberini palace. Sometimes they charge cover, like 15 euros on Sundays. 5 euros to check your coat.

Saw Rödhåd there. Nice space and friendly crowd. Some people smoking both cigarettes and marijuana openly but nothing too extreme. Paid 20 euros to get in and a beer costs 8 euros so not cheap. Can be a bit confusing finding the entrance since there was no big sign over the door or on the building. But if there's lots of people standing around drinking on a parking lot you probably found the club!

So I spoke to Francesco Tilamo and he works for the club. I setup VIP Table and bottle service with him two days in advance for me and my colleagues to enjoy a night out in Rome. When we should up to the club they denied us entry and basically forgot the reservation. They wasted our time and resources going to there club and finding out we couldn’t get in. Francesco is a liar and misleading. Don’t go to this club they don’t know how to run VIP service and don’t know the meaning of it.

my friends and i bought a ticket beforehand to enter the club and we got there on time because it said that after 1am you had to pay 20, so we made sure to arrive there on time. The lady that was on the entrance was VERY RUDE, she made us pay 20, even though on DICE it said 15 euros. 20 euros is insane for what they offer. The music was good, but asking 20 euros at the entrance and being treated badly is insane. If you like techno, i would recommend another place, not nice and extra expensive. 10 euros for a drink and 5 to leave your coat.

As a foreigner did not really feel the vibe, because there was only Italian hits/hiphop/rap songs. So more a place for Italian’s. You pay 20 euros entrance for a vibe thats hard to catch when everyone else knows the songs and you don’t . So be aware of this 😂

€20 cover charge at the door. One small bar room and one larger dancefloor with a decent outdoor courtyard in between. The techno djs were okay. The club overall is nice as a venue. There are very minimal lighting effects in the main room. The sound system is great. There are other techno places I would personally prefer to go clubbing.

Good Techno club, but kinda to small. There have been to much people inside, but everyone was kind and nice, so there was a really cool grout. The drinks are good mixed and strong. So the prices are absolutely fine. The music was a little bit to loud, but the lights are really cool.

We visited the Colosseum at sunset, and even though it was closed and we couldn't go inside, it was an absolutely incredible experience. Seeing the ancient walls lit up in the warm golden light was breathtaking. The atmosphere around the area was magical and felt so amazing. It was the perfect way to get a first look at this iconic landmark. We are already planning our next trip to make sure we can explore the interior, but seeing it from the outside at dusk was a highlight of our trip. Highly recommend a sunset visit

As a child, I used to read about the Colosseum and see pictures of it in books and National Geographic, dreaming that one day I would visit it in person. I was very positively surprised how easy it was to get in and how well it is managed considering it's in Italy :) I had been to Rome several times and always skipped the Colosseum thinking it's a tourist trap and boy was I wrong. Thanks to its sheer size it's actually really pleasant to explore, even though it's packed the minute they open the door. The building is really impressive and it feels like going back in time once you're in. FYI, if you're booking online there are various kinds of tickets, which is not explicitly highlighted IMO, and bare in mind that the regular ticket doesn't give you access to all sites in the Colosseum and the Forum. The visit took us roughly two hours and it was really worth it.

Just amazing! Worth every penny to see this spectacular historical monument. We unfortunately missed out on being able to walk on the partial floor or to go to the basement. But still just jaw dropping.

This place is fantastic! It's a brew pub!! And they have not one but three dark beers and all are great!! The in-house dark 'Garden' is a mix between a stout and a porter. It has lots of flavor but lacks the sweet of a porter and lacks the tang of a stout. The 'Pride' is a true coconut toasted porter!! First I've have found in Europe over many years of traveling throughout. The burgers are good. The look small because the patties are thick so they are actually just tall. The fresh potato chips are very well made! Oh and good music!! Indoors and lots of space.

Absolute gem of a place! If you love beer, it's a must. Fantastic selection, even British style cask beer...the Italian brewed Best Bitter was some of the best I've had. Combine that with the friendly staff and lovely food, makes it an absolute winner. I had lunch, then went back for dinner to try more of the beers, and wasn't disappointed.

Beer is good with a wide selection, including Italian beera from other breweries as well. The food is mediocre, got the cheeseburger which areived medium though I asked for medium-well. Atmosphere is a bit awkward, the main part is impressive but the other part feels unrelated and ut was a bit difficult to get the waitress attention from it.

Great craft beer bar with real quality! I’ve visited many craft and classic breweries in the world and personally completed the Pilsner beer pouring school in the Czech Republic. Here I tried Mama Kriek, Garden, and Elixir — each one different and very tasty. Mama Kriek: fruity, fresh, perfect for light beer lovers. Garden: deep stout with nice smoky flavor. Elixir: soft IPA with pleasant bitterness. Prices are slightly higher, but the quality fully justifies it. The staff is professional and friendly, and the bar has a great relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend for beer lovers! Open daily till 1 AM.

We went in the morning and alot of stalls aren't opened yet or even occupied. Nonetheless, it's a very local market to buy foodstuffs, groceries, clothes and even get a haircut. The prices are pretty decent. We had a breakfast before leaving. Do visit when you have the chance and purchase something.

A local market where you can have small bites and look around for Italian fresh product. We went early in the morning at 7am and there’s only few stores are open. We had some coffee, croissants, and even brought some cheese and ham for souvenir to take home. One of the stall have a vacuum machine so we can have all the produces vacuumed, easier to bring home. There’s also an open stall/weekend market on the back of the market, selling cute stuffs and accessories. A good place to browse around on weekend if you have free time to kill in Rome.

Renovated traditional Italian neighborhood market. Wide variety of vendors. Many stalls were closed though for some reason.

Testaccio market is worth visiting. Love the porchetta sandwich & coffee at illy bar. You must also try the artichokes. I love the roman style better than the fried one. Affordable food & the place is clean.

What a lovely little local market. Its five mins around the corner from Keats grave so perfect for a spot of lunch or snack and coffee. Food was good and there are lots of stalls to browse.

11am, on Monday, There are a few stores already closed themselves, but still it has lively market vibe. It doesn't dirty at all and the smell wasnt bad~ we bought some small virgin olive oil bottles and dry pasta bags with reasonable price.

Quite disappointing considering the historical importance of the bridge for Christianity. Ponte Flaminio near by is half renenew an looks great. Both bridges are in a remote area from down town.

The oldest and the most beautiful bridge in Roma. On the left side of Tiber there i a small park with a caffee where you can enjoy view and good coffee.

This bridge is a bit outside of the centre of Rome but you can walk along the Tiber River to get there.

Milvian bridge. What can I say? I already knew by reading previous reviews that it was going to be a waste of time but I needed to see it for myself. It was a complete waste of time but it’s out of my system now so I’m glad I went and now I won’t have to ever go back. I don’t know why I expected the surrounding area to be open ground like a battlefield but it’s obviously not. It’s all apartment buildings with a few shops/cafes. There’s a church straight facing the bridge but it’s very modern inside and not very impressive. The bridge itself although very old is not much to look at. There are a couple of statues on the bridge, one of the Virgin Mary and one of St John nepomuk who (according to Google) is the patron saint of those in danger of drowning, which I suppose is kind of appropriate but I would rather see a statue of Constantine. There’s not a single inscription and no reference to him whatsoever which I thought was a massive missed opportunity for the city of Rome. As I said there are a couple of coffee shops so I bought a drink and sat on a bench and read my book for half an hour and then took a walk to piazza del popolo, which is the nearest place that a tourist might want to go. I did spend half an hour waiting for the bus but when it came it drove straight past so I decided to walk. It took me 40 minutes to walk via Flaminio which is just one straight road from the bridge all the way to piazza del popolo and there wasn’t anything to see on the way.

Read about this place from several sources, and decided to give it a shot. Looked really cool with the interior. I was not disappointed. A lot of references to The Shining and the Overlook Hotel. Cocktails were nice, service attentive. We ordered the mini burgers, and I would probably not recommend that. They were ok at best. One of them with chicken tasted like a microwaved chicken nugget and then a small slice of salad. Maybe we were unlucky, and you need to go there for the different vibe and the cocktail, and not so much because of the food.

Stayed close by (3 doors up), and decided to go the last evening of our stay in Rome, looked good from the outside but inside... holy moly! Amazing decor and different seating areas in different rooms plus an outdoor seating area (mostly covered). The best cocktails ive had throughout our mini euro trip. Dedicated cocktail makers, great wait staff, engaging and nothing was a problem. Just oozed cool. Food to share, a wee bit on the higher side but not crazy. Moody, trendy, great atmosphere with different groups in the unique seating areas creating the buzz. Wish we sussed this place out at the start, but I might not have left! Haha. By pure chance, we stumbled across this little bar restaurant gem spot, and what a find. From the outside, with just two tables by the front door, it doesn’t look like much. But step inside and you’re transported into a warm, vintage haven. The decor has charm, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff are incredibly friendly. Drinks and food hit the mark too. After having pizza and pasta for days non-stop, I wanted to give a burger a try. The burger was pretty good. Fries were excellent. Service was just okay. Not opposed to returning here again but probably wouldn't rush back.

A delicious Mexican inspired restaurant on the quiet side of Trastevere. Mexican food has improved considerably in Italy since I first vegan traveling here 17 years ago. This is a sign of the progress. Delicious tacos and cocktails with a lot of familiar flavors from my trips to Mexico. A beautifully decorated space, excellent service and decent prices. I really enjoyed my experience and recommended visiting!

My best friend and I love Mexican food, after visiting Mexico we were not able to find place as authentic as this in Europe! So, we ordered the most of their vegetarian option which included a Burrito, Quesadilla and Nachos. First of all the portion sizes were small. Secondly, as mentioned in their menu the Mexican Burrito( Veg) had cream of the black beans, guacamole, rice, zucchini etc. But in my part of Burrito I only could taste Rice and peas that's all. It was little disappointing. The passion fruit drink we ordered was good. But in all it is okay. The staff is really welcoming and the atmosphere is nice.

I highly recommend this cozy beautiful place for great food and cocktails. I can sincerely say that the cocktails and food deserves the highest compliment. incredibly friendly and knowledgeable servings of Benedetta and Gabriele were exceptional, with who went above and beyond to make our evening enjoyable. They took the time to inform us about the menu and recommend cocktails according to our taste. Overall, our experience at La Punto exceeded our expectations in every way. We’ll definitely be back whenever we visit Rome :)

My husband and I stopped in on September 11th around 2000 while waiting for a nearby dinner reservation, and we were very impressed. The bartender was skilled and professional, creating a spicy margarita upon request that was excellent. We also each enjoyed a mezcal cocktail that was balanced and thoughtfully prepared. Based on the quality of the drinks and service, I would certainly recommend this spot, and I regret not having stayed to try the menu—especially as the restaurant we went to afterward proved to be a disappointment. An excellent choice for well-crafted cocktails and exceptional service.

Wow! This was one of the best bars I have ever encountered. This unassuming cocktail bar and art gallery space far exceeded our expectations. The space was beautiful and so very authentic. The crowd was a mix of locals and tourists. The service was fantastic. We had two manhattan cocktails and they were quite possibly the best manhattans we ever drank! I also had the Lavorato Secco bitter cocktail which was phenomenal pre-dinner. The tomato bruschetta was also bursting with flavor. Such attention to detail and craft in what they do! We will definitely be back next time we are in Rome.

We were walking around Monti and stumbled upon this beautiful bar, with tables in the middle and clothes on the sides, a beautiful bar serving interesting cocktails, cheap glasses of wine and tagliere. I had the “Dolce Vita” cocktail that was really tasty:) Music was very beautiful and the artworks on the walls were really cute too:) I would totally recommend this place for an aperitivo!

We came rather early and critically had the place to ourselves It kind of felt like stepping into an artsy living room and behind offered snacks and fun cocktails in a dungeon covered in great paintings, Jewelery and other trinkets and art A lovely experience all round

We loved this place off the beaten path away from tourists. An eclectic setting and decor. Quite comfortable to enjoy a beverage and relax. The staff are very friendly and love to chat and make you feel welcome. Stop in to relax and have a drink in a cozy and homey feeling establishment.

It’s a cool little space takes you to a different world of it’s own. Vintage pieces in the store are really cool. Great staff and cocktails, made with care and expertise.. try the drink Bowie, it’s out of the world!

We walked up to this place due the little truck they have outside for drinks which was how we found out they were not just an art gallery! The vibes are cool inside as well if you don't get a seat at the truck. The drinks were good and priced reasonably for the places around. The service staff was friendly which just adds to the charm of the entire place!

Unique atmosphere, you feel like in a movie. Great performance from everyone. I am not speaking Italian but i enjoyed to the fullest. Highly recommended.

I would travel to Rome just to come to this phenomenal establishment! It feels like walking back in time. A classy, moody, cosy space where magic happens. Hosted by an incredible pianist, the performers are brilliant and the music is spot on. An absolute treat for the senses! You've just got to go!

An unforgettable, immersive experience. Every performance was outstanding, the cocktails were delicious, the staff were very welcoming. To top it off, it’s a nice cool escape from the heat in the summer! We had early flights so could only stay a couple hours or else we would have stayed the whole night.

I really liked a lot! The club is very small, and despite the fact that there are not a lot of performers, it was unforgettable! They really do their best!

The bar and service were very good. But the show. We don’t know what it was but definitely not a burlesque show.. may be 10-15 minutes in 5 hours.. however.. it was so.. weird and shocking ? that at the same time funny 😅 however we left after 3 hours because couldn’t do more of it - To this day we laugh when we remind it. Definitely unique show.

Great food, the main courses and desserts were light and tasty. Good selection of wines, including rosé and orange. Service was fast and efficient, but at times it was difficult to get waiters' attention. We sat by the counter, which wasn't the most comfortable experience, but allowed us to get inside in less than 10 minutes wait time.

Very busy place, we were able to get seated outside at lunch after a small wait. Simple and tasty. Meatballs were very good! I was so excited to have such a great Greek salad after weeks of eating little to no raw vegetables in Italy 😂

Great food, tiny restaurant. We were walking past and were drawn by the floral exterior. Restaurant looked crowded and bustling during lunch, so we decided to give it a chance. Managed to get a seat with minimal wait. Food came quickly and was good. Wished we had space to try the Tiramisu. We saw many people ordering it.

The meat balls are so freaking good! Went here to kick off our Rome trip and oh my did we start with a banger! We had the meat balls in tomato sauce and their chicken and both were great. The chicken falls off the bone and the meat balls are not even remotely dry, but juicy and flavourful. Their bread makes for an excelent compliment to the meal to mop up the sauce with (which you will want to do). The restaurant has a nice cosy vibe.

Love this restaurant! My husband and I found this place in 2015 and have been back every time we have come to Rome. The vibe here is excellent and all the staff are so funny and nice. The food is incredible - our favourite is the truffle sausages!! We went last night for dinner and had the best time as always and I’m sure we will return again soon during our trip.

The place captured us from the outside right away - it has this stunning green charm that just sucks you in. Once you get inside you are greeted by an owner who loves what he does, singing and dancing and playing great music . Our server , Marco, was excellent and very kind to us, the food was some of the best Italy has to offer - with the meatballs being my personal fave.

If you want fast paced service this is definitely the place in Rome, we were sat down and drinking wine within 5 minutes. I had the Porchetta and my wife had the lasagna. I’m not joking I moaned and prayed after ever bite of the Porchetta. It’s my first time ever having it so I asked for the honey mustard that they offer upon request. I felt like I insulted them after I was finished. 100/10. Couldn’t asked for a better experience.

Awesome rooftop. The place is superb! Good spirit and good music. Prices are low for Roma, 8€ for a 1l bucket of Affligem beer. I recommend it!

Although the atmosphere is nice and the food portions are okay given the prices, service was awful. We booked a table on the terrace at 9 and they took our orders around 9.30 and at 10 when we ordere drinks they said they cannot bring which they didn’t inform us when we were booking that service will be closed at 10. Moreover, they forced us to pay what we have eaten first before ordering other drinks from the bar by ourselves…

Cool place for a drink 10’ drive from Rome Stadium. The rooftop in the summer is super cool, can definitely recommend it for a drink. Dj set is there as well. Service was very slow and un-professional when I was there though.

Really trendy exotic pool/club. Very impressive visually, great music also! Strange that there is a queue to pay & a queue to collect your drink. They hand you any beer they want despite asking for a particular brand & staff are all looking bored, rolling eyes/not wanting to be there. Which is strange! It’s Italy not Iraq, cheer up. €15 entry on a Friday. Queued for 15mins. Men hanging around in the alleys near by made me very nervous, if I was alone I’m almost sure I would’ve been a victim

We found this place when looking online for a nightclub in Rome. We are 2 Asian girls traveling and went early enough to not stand in line too long, and got in on a Thursday, around 11pm, with no cover. It was an nice looking lounge in a jungle environment. Lots of places to sit, but it was all full when we got there. They have a makeup artist doing "voodoo" tribal makeup if you want. Drinks are 10 Euro or more, and there is a lineup to pay, where you get a drink receipt, and another line to order your drink, so a lot of confusion and standing around the bar. There was a tarot card reader, readings were 10 euros. We were happy to find the restaurant side opened up after midnight for some house music, which was full of energy and dancing, which was what we were looking for. We went back on Friday, and it was a different experience. The entry line was longer, and we waited a bit longer. The restaurant side was only open for dinner, and only after 12:30am did it change to a club, and it was more world/tribal music. They had fire dancers both nights. We found it interesting, and it was close to our hotel. It was a bit scary walking down the narrow streets without a sidewalk in the middle of the dark, to make sure cars saw us on the road. Based on the reviews, I think we were lucky to have a positive experience.

How can such a beautiful place been so badly managed, especially when there is not so much customers? My experience based on facts : - Table cleaned after 4 request and 40minutes - Drinks received after 1 hour - we were supposed to eat there. But the manager changed his mine To AVOID!

A bouncer at a club in Italy shined a green laser directly in my eye to stop me from using flash. It was uncomfortable and unsafe — definitely not professional

Incredible place, great atmosphere. Right in the middle of Rome, excellent choice for a night out. Quite a lot of bars, no waiting time and nice food service. It has a lot of variety, acrobats, livings, dance floor, open sky. Try it and let me know!

Door staff were arrogant and rude! I wrote an email to management, so hopefully they have addressed the issue. Tourist should be treated as human beings, not ignored like trash!

What a great bar to visit. Amazing cocktails and you can get lost in here, way bigger then what you think it is. Can’t wait to go again!

We celebrated new year's eve there, and although we enjoyed the atmosphere and the music in general, the venue itself has lots of negative aspects: 1. Coat storage: ----------------- They charged 5 EUR per item! Meaning if you had a sweater and a coat, they don't agree to put both on one hanger but charge you 10 EUR for both. Why the hell for?! It makes no sense. 2. Toilet -------- As far as I know there is only 1 toilet for the entire complex of 4 floors (maybe there are more but they weren't available to us). There SHOULD be a toilet on each floor. So the only toilet we had access to (men's) didn't have soap, there was only cold water (not so nice during winter) and the hand dryer didn't work. The toilet booth was full of piss and no one cleaned it. Staircase: --------- Somehow it gets air from the outside so during the freezing cold of winter, it's not ideal to go up and down wearing only a t-shirt. Staff ------ We didn't have any issues but overall the staff isn't super nice or friendly. Bartenders do you a favor for doing their jobs and the security guards are a bit harsh and unapproachable. Sound ------- Talking only about the sound (because music is a preference): was a bit too loud and some speakers are too close to the dance floor. Worst aspect: SMOKING! -------------------------- Don't know why it's so hard to provide people with the most basic of "privileges": breathable air. Too many people on the dancefloor, around it or even in the staircases - were smoking. You wanna smoke? Great, go outside, don't impose your addictions on others. But that's not what this review is about... It's the club's responsibility to prevent people from smoking and unfortunately that didn't happen. Conclusion ------------ We enjoyed the party because of the people we were with and the music, but other than that - this venue has really low standards.

If you are looking for a classy place to party. STAY AWAY FROM THIS! They charged us €20 cover fee with no drink and the place was full of really young people. This could be a fun place if you come with a big group of people and leave early! As many people seem losing control after 2am (looking for fights, etc..).

Cheap atmosphere, expensive beers. It’s quiet trashy inside and bad music for my taste. 10€ for a beer is unbelievable.

Bar was full and there was just one barkeeper and it wasn’t organized. So there was no cue and everybody was getting crazy to get drinks. The bathroom were a disaster! Nothing was there! No toilet paper, no paper for the hands, no soap, no possibility to shut the doors… Music and fading was also not good. Dancing show was okay …

Awful people, awful staff, awful music, awful location. Although I havent experienced any specific bad situation, the overall thing is just not a fun atmosphere to be in: Hard to breath, no ventilation, so hot, everybody smokes everywhere, so dirty, no respect for personal space, hundreds of predator straight guys, staff members discriminating queer people, and many more. I dont recommend if you are looking for a place to dance and have fun with friends.

Recently attended Torture Garden at the venue and gotta say, I was pleasantly surprised of how well the place fit the expected vibe so well. The interior design of the place has some dark industrial and slightly minimalistic esthetic, this allows it to be decorated or basically "shaped" for several different types of events and parties, and it worked wonderfully for Torture Garden. The place is divided in 3 floors, and while not every single one of them offers the same amount of physical space, the structural variety of the aforementioned esthetics doesn't make the floors feel copy-pasted. The few downsides I can think of is the wardrobe policy (which might have been stricter on this specific event), and the lack of a changing room, which for some events can be a serious downside. Would visit again in the future.

We got attacked in the club by two drunk little ratty girls and we got kicked out for it. The security saw them hit me and my friend but didn’t do anything about it and kicked us out instead. We did not fight back, we weren’t drunk. also apart from that very overpriced and the drinks aren’t good, I will come back next time tho because the music was very nice 😂
