It was great visiting here. Loved the pizza. People were nice. No rushing to clear the table at the time when we went. Had a Margherita pizza, which was absolutely delicious. I was so hooked on to the taste, that I found out that they have an operational branch in Amsterdam as well and I visited them yesterday. It was the same taste and I loved it.

Very good pizza and very good flavour! It is and will be a long wait. You will wait an hour so I recommend getting a table because why not - the queue is the same! The pizza was very good, it did take a while so it came out a little colder than expected. But the leoparding was good, the flavour of everything in that pizza was incredible. The dough, the sauce, the cheese and everything. Unbelievably good. There are not many types of pizza but you do not need many flavours of that pizza. It was worth getting any!

After almost one hour of waiting we managed to get inside as a group of 7 people. The system is a bit confusing and we got there on the time when they were letting all the people out, cleaning the tables and only after letting all the people who are waiting in. We got there around 15:30. It’s not the ideal time. If you are very hungry you have to consider the waiting. There is a separate queue for the take away pizza. It’s a bit difficult to talk with the staff managing the queue. When you want to eat inside you have to ask for the number and tell the number of people dining in. The wait inside for the pizza wasn’t long at all considering that we were taking 5 pizzas. The atmosphere is nice and cozy. Pizza was very good but not sure if it was great ale worth this wait. We just went there as the place is famous. In general we were happy about this experience. The price was great too, very cheap for this famous place.

I was brought to try this pizza place by a local. In general we didn’t have to wait too long to be seated, approximately 10 minutes. We were there for lunch around 14:00, but from what I’ve heard the queue can get quite long in the late evening. The service was a bit questionable, they weren’t very friendly, which might be caused by the very chaotic environment. The price of the pizza is exceptional. You can rarely find a place that serves delicious pizza for only 6 euro. The taste as well was superb. I would gladly go back.

Fantastic experience! The pizza is incredibly delicious! Definitely the best pizza I’ve had in my life! My recommendation: don’t wait for a table inside. Instead, join the takeaway line and eat at the standing tables across the street — trust me, the experience is much better. This pizzeria truly deserves its Michelin stars🤯😍🔥

one of the most famous pizzerias in the world. they have multiple rooms across the street to accommodate the huge amount of people that come by. takeaway worked very quickly for me. i only waited 10min. the pizza was incredible and it was very affordable. not overrated and definitely worth the hype

I saw the video from IG and expected to be super crowded because if the reviews. We came on a Wednesday 6:30pm and there was zero line. Literally shocked. I'm glad we came during dinner instead of lunch! The pizza was huge but so soft, chewy and light. I love it. Super flavorful. Highly recommend! Quite different from other pizza place. It's light and so thin. A must go. We paid 8 euro for dine in.

Food is very mediocre. However, a bottle of wine was $6. The atmosphere is super fun. After the meals are served, the staff starts singing and dancing and you get to party along. Over all, go for a good time and definitely not the food.

I love the atmosphere here. It makes everyone so happy dining here. They got music, everyone would dance between the dishes. Basically a lunch time party. For the food, it not very outstanding and the portion is quite small. But the meal is affordable. Make you feel like eating fast food. If you seated at the basement like me, you probably can’t join or see the party going. So make sure your seat is the best one

I guess I wasn’t sure what to expect from the reviews when I got here. The unique nature of this restaurant gives it 3 stars. It’s a very small reasonable menu to digest, and the prices are fixed. Both locals and tourists come here. They serve dinner, then dance on the main floor. The downside for the tourists is that they sing catchy new songs in Italian, so you don’t really know what they’re saying. The food is also *okay* not outstanding in terms of quality. As others have mentioned, come here for the experience not the food.

To begin with a boy who is taking a list at entarance , really very “antipathetic.” I havent seen a person impulsive like him all of my life. After waiting one hour , finally I am inside. I am exciting because I am thinking about very delicious foods. But unfortunately it is not. I ate pasta patata , eggplants and napoliten meatballs. I am disappointed about Pasta patata , eggplants is not so tasty. Only meatballs avarage. A french boy who was eating next table asked me “sorry, are you from Naples, I told no, and he continued I did not understand why this restaurant is famous. I am dissapointed.” The dialogue summarizes the taste of this restaurant. If you have time to waste , go and wait there about 1.30 hours

Came here because a friend recommended it and it did not disappoint. You have to make a reservation. This place is crazy popular and I understand why. The food was great. The service was excellent. The waiters dance on the tables at the end of your dining experience if you wait long enough. I didn't appreciate a toilet man asking for tips but other than that they were great. Get the pasta with potatoes. It's filthy good.

What an experience! I had heard about Mimi for many years from my family and our dinner earlier this year did not disappoint. There were a mix of young and old patrons, all having a great time. The food was absolutely delicious, the service on point and the suggested wine pairings were well balanced. Highly recommend when a visit when you’re in Napoli.

Was recommended this place from a cab driver and it did not disappoint. Great food. Great service. Everything was delicious and the staff was so friendly. We got there a bit early and my mom walks with a cane. When we came back a few minutes later and the place was filling in, the gentleman who I presume is the owner has saved the spot by the door for my mom. Best food I had in Naples. Will visit again next time I am in town

Great classic Neapolitan food. Attentive and friendly service. Food served very efficiently. Walk-ins only for groups of 2 so its recommended to reach for opening time as the room filled up very quickly.

Average to say the least, we waited over an hour to get a table, the glasses for our water were hot and wet straight from the dishwasher, the pasta i had was like the one i was served in school in the 80’s, my friends had cannelloni and left half of it, had to wait ages to pay the bill. Not reccommended, i’m Italian and it is my first day in Naples, i am baffled at the great reviews vs the reality of this place. Don’t waste your time. Oh, and a 15% service charge is automatically added to your bill. Service is not good either.

We had lunch at Mimì alla Ferrovia and the food was excellent — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The restaurant was very busy, so it’s definitely worth booking in advance (we reserved two days before and there was still a line outside). Service was friendly, but our dishes didn’t all arrive at the same time since we were a group of eight. Overall, a great experience with authentic food and lively atmosphere

The food was generous, rich in flavor and the patisserie crunchy and sweet, the waiters don’t really seem to enjoy their gig, but that’s pretty avg in Napoli (or Italy). In spite of that, the service is fast as almost everything just needs to be warmed up. Coffee is great and fresh OJ is a little ray of sunshine trough the overall experience.

They have on of the best pastries in Italy. But the service could be better and the place could be taken care better. We went there twice, one time for breakfast and other for an afternoon coffee. On both occasions the service was pretty average. The coffee nothing special, but the pastries. Perfection! The best of all was the sfogliatella, nice layers of perfect crust with a filling that wasn't too sweet. I recommend for a good pastry treat in Naples.

Centrally located, prime spot for people watching and beautiful building. This is by far one of the best espresso we had during our trip in Italy. So good that we went back 3 times in total during our visit in Naples. The pastries were great too.. as for the service as expected during high season. Fatigue, not very friendly.. probably sick of tourists like us and under staff given they didn't open a section of the restaurant and would rather have customers wait in the queue. Worth a visit.. just don't expect much from the service. Pastries and espresso.. definitely Yes! Absolutely love their menu, photos and descriptions. Perfect!!

Great spot for breakfast, we came here a couple of times. Fantastic people watching and great location to sit and enjoy your morning food. Coffee is good, pastries are fresh and delicious and the staff are brilliant. It is a touch on the pricey side for Naples but it is worth it. The selection of drinks is probably the most substantial of all the spots we went to in Naples. One thing I will say is I stopped off for a late afternoon Sfogliatella and unlike in the morning which was brilliant this time it had very obviously been sat for many hours and the filling had gone a bit past its best so I would recommend if you want the pastries go at breakfast when they have just been made as they are brilliant. I had the best pain au chocolat of my life here

We stopped by this café and it was such a delightful experience! The coffee was excellent, their pastries were fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere is charming and elegant. The staff were very kind and attentive, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommended if you want to enjoy authentic Italian coffee and dessert in a beautiful setting.

Gran Caffè Gambrinus is a place that leaves a lasting impression with just a single cup of coffee. I stopped by briefly for one espresso — the “strapazzato” — and that short moment completely redefined what coffee means to me. Though I spent no more than five minutes there, the depth, aroma, and intensity of that cup made time feel suspended. It wasn’t just about caffeine; it was about heritage, craftsmanship, and emotion in a cup. It’s rare to find a place where such a simple experience feels so profound. I know that even if I return years later, that brief memory — and the anticipation of tasting it again — will stay with me for a very long time.

An interesting place and very unusual because of the way you place your order. First, you go to the counter, order from the cashier and then you go to the bar or the pastry section. It can be very confusing for tourists because there are no signs explaining what to do or how it works. My recommendation is to first take a look at all the cake names and then go to the counter. All in all, the coffee is excellent and the cakes are unbelievably beautiful and delicious. Definitely a place you must visit!

Heaven on a plate… we ordered from the gourmet list, the S.T.G. Napoletana with San Marzano tomato sauce, buffalo mozzarella bites and basil and the Messicana with hot spicy dressing, smoked provola cheese, sausage, spicy salami and basil. Can’t rave about how good the pizza was. The dough was perfection. Big tip was to come in a Sunday as it’s quieter than usual. Best pizza I have ever had

That’s the real Napoli pizza — totally different from anything I’ve ever had before! Even the bread is delicious on its own. I just wish I had been hungrier so I could have ordered more pizza! The service was impressively fast — our food arrived almost immediately after we ordered. Highly recommended.

Awesome pizza 🍕 😋 loved the Ripieno stuffed calzone style pizza the best! Went at opening - about 7pm. Expected a wait but walked straight in to empty dining room. Had filled up by 8pm when we left and tables turn over quickly.

This is single handedly the best authentic pizza in Naples. The owner was extremely welcoming, the service was outstanding and finally the pizza was remarkable. An absolute must if you want the real deal.

Only pizza we ate while passing through Naples, but it was by far the best pizza I've ever had. I would recommend the Marinara Starita. Worth the journey from the train station and would recommend grabbing a sfogliatella at Mary's Sfogliatella on the way back (Tip: the fantasia al limone con baba at Mary's were absolutely delightful).

It was so good I was ready to leave my life behind and move to Naples just to have their pizza everyday. This pizza changed who I am at a molecular level. I am proud to say I have at least 0.1% Starita pizza in my DNA.

Was worried with them having so many sites in Naples it might be a bit of a tourist trap but it wasn't and the food was brilliant! We had maybe a 10 minute wait for a table in the evening on a Monday. We were told when ordering that the starters were to share between 2, we ordered one each anyway and they were huge! But so tasty we could help but finish them but honestly one starter between two is more han enough We had the deep fried lasagna and he fried basket to start, both were great and we had two portions of the ragu with ricotta as our mains again fantastic. The staff were really welcoming and I would strongly recommend coming here to eat as it was brilliant. I wish we'd saved room for dessert as if it was as good as the other two courses it would have been amazing

Fantastic place for authentic, slow-cooked Neapolitan ragù! We were seated (but it took forever though) and tried the Rigatoni alla Genovese and Lasagna al Ragù, plus the Tiramisu. I personally loved everything—rich, comforting, and packed with flavor. Warning: The dishes are incredibly heavy (as authentic ragù should be), and my wife found the rich, slow-cooked flavor profile was not to her taste. A top spot if you appreciate deeply savory, traditional Italian comfort food.

I went there for lunch. Soft jazz music was playing in the background, which created a calm atmosphere and was never disturbing. The place is quite small, with about six or seven tables inside. Service was warm and friendly, and the restrooms were clean. They offered different ragù dishes, and the waiters were knowledgeable in explaining the pasta options and other items. The best part was that they could speak English, which is a real advantage since this is often a challenge in many cafés in Naples. From what I saw, most of the customers were tourists, probably because it’s close to the main attractions. I ordered gnocchi, and the food was delicious.

The best rigattoni with genovese in Napoli. Perfectly al dente pasta and huge amount of delicious souce. I recommend this particular restaurant because we ate in the other tandem ragu point on the other day and it was not so tasty as here.

I loved this restaurant so much that I came back three more times. A hidden — and tasty — gem in Naples’ historic centre. Staff are super welcoming and kind. I’d strongly recommend this place to anyone who’s visiting Naples.

Funny story. I thought I made a reservation at this location via their WhatsApp. It's my birthday and they were genuinely lovely on the message app. I can't tell you how much I appreciated a warm birthday wish from the team that handles the messages-but! I was wrong and we came to this location that doesn't take reservations at 8pm. They were so understanding and we were seated fairly quickly. The place is intimate which made for lovely conversations with other tables. The staff were awesome. The food was delicious. I had to take most of mine home after generous starters, as well as beautiful olive oil, bread and cheese. Sweet melon and limoncello with the bill was a wonderful touch. Un buon notte per il mio compleanno, grazie mille!

Such a cozy place. Reservations are required. They were nice enough to make room for us although we didn't have one. Highly recommend as it's also a little hidden and not in the busy loud area.

We stayed here for dinner. The place is fully booked so you should make a reservation in advance. Fortunately we still got a free spot the same day a couple of hours later. The food was amazing, the pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, the octopus was really soft inside, and the ragu was probably the best I've ever had. The service is also excellent, our order was taken fast and we didn't have to wait long for the food. The prices are very reasonable. The interior looks good and only has around five tables so it's a really calm setting. If you visit Napoli you should definitely try this place.

This time, my wife (from DC) and I were in town with two friends visiting Naples for the first time. I wanted them to experience a real, traditional Neapolitan meal—and this place delivered perfectly. We started with a fresh buffalo mozzarella and tomato salad, paired with marinated aubergines—simple but full of flavour and character. For our pastas, we shared the ragù napoletano and pasta alla puttanesca. The ragù was rich and deeply comforting, cooked exactly the way it should be, and the pasta itself was al dente perfection. For our mains, we shared meatballs and friarielli (Neapolitan broccoli rabe)—a classic combination that brought everyone to the table smiling. Everything was paired with a bottle of Valpolicella, which complemented the meal beautifully. The atmosphere was intimate, charming, and full of soul. Naples has become really touristic and it's hard find places that have not become tourist traps. I would say that this is not exactly an exception since it's packed with tourists, but at least they keep the quality of the food high and the prices low, which is pretty much all that matters. We had gnocchi alla sorrentina (9 EUR) and pasta alla genovese (8 EUR). Both dishes were really good. Pasta super aldente, as it should be, and a good amount of meat in the genovese too. The coperto is 2 EUR per person which is a bit high, but at least you get some nice bread. The coffee was amazing, and of course served in a glass cup as the Napoletan law states. The staff was not very friendly, but not rude either. Just doing their job, which is fine. This osteria is really good and they have all the traditional dishes that you may want to try while visiting Naples. Definitely a good option when looking for traditional cuisine for good prices.

Exceptional pastry! Dropped by for the sfogliatella, was crispy on the outside, fluffy ricotta filling, and the perfect touch of lemon peel.

Oh, the sfogliatella was SO SO good! Crispy and still warm and lightly flavored! So glad we skipped the other pastry shops nearby and stopped here. No seating though.

Ok, so this was the weirdest food experience in Napoli. read a lot of good things about the place, a "must see". Hahaha there were 2 guys who looked so depressed you thought you'd brighten their day by walking in and buying something. There were about 5 sfogliatelle inside. We asked what fillings they had, they said one (OK, no problem, I like it simple!). One of the guys said the price and took our money. The other one reheated our 3 sfogliatelle and handed them to us. Nor one word, not one smile, no other soul in the place, and their looks almost made me want to apologise for buying the pastries. Eerie. Pastries were nice though.

The definition of "hidden gem". This spot is literally hidden inside a local market, you won't find it just walking around the area, and probably that's what makes it so authentic. When you see all the locals eating here you know it's the real deal. No menu, no listed prices. Just some freshly homemade food on exhibition to pick from. We had pasta e patate (a Napoletan classic), some cooked vegetables and the octopus. All of it was outstanding, the taste was delicious. This is how homemade Napoletan food should taste like. The service was super friendly, and even though they could have taken advantage of us since we were tourists, I am pretty sure they didn't considering how cheap the food was (20 EUR for the three dishes, I believe the octopus was 9 EUR, the pasta 4 EUR and the mixed vegetables 7 EUR). There is no coperto charge, but beware that if you eat the bread on the table you'll pay an extra euro.

Probably one of the worst meals we had in Naples. However everyone was kind and could tell a local place. The fried cheese was cold (they put in microwave but still not good) the pasta and beans was flavorless. The fish had so many bones. We ate mostly bread and was underwhelmed unfortunately with the food

Just go. It's real southern Italian, local, and hard to find so you know it's good I really want to tell you not to go because it's going to gettoo busy. It is kind of cafeteria style. Just tell them what you want and they'll dish it out for you. I speak Italian but the staff does speak English and ia helpful. They had vegan options as well. The menu changes daily so be aware of that. The vegetables are outstanding and the carrots... I could have had 2 full plates of them. The picture may not look like much but trust me when I tell you that is was the closest thing to home cooking you're going to find there. The red wine, locally made and so refreshing! The vibe is typically Napoli. You will not want to miss this place.

All I have to say is the Carrots were a dish that I would have day in & day out. If an side dish is amazing then you must come to the restaurant, Cibi Cotti feels like your eating at someones home not a restaurant ❤️

We were here for lunch….the food is good with different presentation from others. We tried the tasting menu: few appetizers, 3 different pizza slides and 1 dessert. Since it was tasting menu and since they have more than one dessert I was disappointed to get only one, so when I paid I gave my feedback and promptly they offered to us Torta Caprese(very good). I do not give 5 stars because there are few things that I did not like: the music was not appropriate for a typical Napoletano Restaurant since it was more for a launch bar. Personally, I find the use of latex gloves by waiters when serving food to be unhygienic. It often makes me think that they might not wash their hands as frequently, since the gloves can give a misleading sense of hygiene. Moreover, I was concerned by the lack of a tablecloth or even paper napkins on the marble table, and by the fact that the cutlery rested on a metal stand. It raised doubts about whether these stands are sanitized or replaced between customers, which made me feel somewhat nervous and not entirely at ease.

Pizzeria Concettina au Tre Santi is amazing! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff is friendly and passionate. The pizzas are absolutely delicious — light, airy dough topped with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Every bite tastes like true Neapolitan tradition. This is hands down one of the best pizza experiences you can have. Highly recommended!

Although I’d say I am a pizza expert for a variety of reasons, judging pizza more than other foods is a matter of preference. This pizzeria was recommended by a Cardiology colleague from Napoli. I enjoyed my pizza Margarita very much. The tomato salad and stuffed zucchini flower were excellent. The other dishes also looked great. For example their table-side prepared Caprese salad was a special spectacle. They stock non-alcoholic beer which was tasty.

We had reserved a table for 4 people, when we arrived we were not on the list... We went in, there were still free seats. We started ordering and asked the waiter to recommend something traditional from Naples. He recommended us to get 3 pizzas and share them. We said ok and he recommended 3 pizzas that we had not thought of. They were delicious! The wine was very good. The prices were quite high but the Michelin stars say everything about the place.

You can sitt outside in the backyard. Very good and perfect baked pizza margarita. Would recommend to start with a shared sott’ e Ngopp. Ask for a doggy bag if you can’t finish the pizza.

The place itself was nice with plants around the tables, but that was the only nice thing about the place. It seems like the place is squeezing in as many tables as possible to make more money. We got a table right where the staff were standing and keeping an eye on the restaurant. We had 3-4 staff standing 20cm from our table and looking at us. They also kept walking into our chairs because there was no space at all. Not particularly romantic or nice. We asked if we could move tables, but we weren't allowed to. One of the staff was watching videos with music on his phone right next to me, which describes how close they were standing during our entire dinner. Then there are the pizzas. It's a completely crazy price level. 18 euros for a bad pizza. All in all, a really bad dining experience.

Honest review here. We really wanted and expected to be overwhelmed-but we weren't. I've been in Naples studying Italian and we saved Sorbillo for our last week. We arrived early at 5:30 pm on a Thursday and were seated immediately; however, we waited for 15 minutes for our server- he was particularly gruff until I spoke in Italian. The restaurant was not full at all. He was quite attentive afterwards. The house craft beer was good and I liked that it was served in large wine glasses, a bit of class. The prices are very reasonable and it is clear that they use quality ingredients -but, regardless, the pizzas were not sunshine or stars bursting in your mouth as so many reviews seem to suggest. Did we have high expectations, probably based on the reviews -could it have been an off night- maybe. I think the experience is one that many will seek because of the hype. I just wanted to throw out the possibility that it might just be hype. I don't think it would have been worth a long wait for a table.

I now get the hype and honestly it‘s well deserved. The pizzas were delicious and I can say it‘s one of the best in Naples. If you had to prioritize only one Pizza restaurant to go, this is IT! Fried Pizza is definitely one of their specialties but all their other pizzas are also amazing. No misses.

After arriving we gave our names to the lady at the door and they called us in less than 10 minutes. The restaurant was not overly crowded or noisy. The pizza was exceptionally tasty. But I’m yet to try my second one so I can give a better opinion 😅 the prices were also surprisingly good for such a famous and central place. The service could’ve been a bit more friendly to match the high quality of the food but I guess nothing is ever perfect. Overall, an excellent restaurant that I’ll be visiting again.

We had a great experience and we strongly recommend for having an great and traditional pizza napolitana. The staff was also very friendly and spoke in English. The pizzas came very fast even with the local on full capacity. The beer was colder than the average in Napoli!

Sorbillo- Gino e Toto was amazing! Waited about 15/20 minutes, but it was totally worth it. The food came out fast, the staff was super friendly, and their recommendations were spot on. Two pizzas ended up being way more filling than expected!

This restaurant specialize in pizza and will have to rate this is the best pizza in Naples. We were in Naples for 6 days and each day we've tried a different restaurant and came back to Sorbillo a second time on our last night. We experienced 5 restaurants within those 6 days. The service and servers were excellent and friendly. The pizza we ordered were the Margarita, and Diovalla and Marisa.

Dined here twice already. First visit was around 7 PM on a Wednesday — we were seated right away. The second time was Monday lunch, and we waited about half an hour. Both times, the pizza was excellent. The main ingredient — the dough — was scrumptious. After all, no toppings can save tasteless dough. We tried four different pizzas and loved them all.

My favorite pizzeria in Napoli and the one I always recommend to friends visiting the city. They have an amazing variety, great options, and their pizza is absolute heaven! 🍕❤️

first time in my life i try the Pizza from the country where it's introduced to the Modern World. and Specially the Taste of Authentic Margarita Pizza is still same. plain thin cheese pizza with basic tomato sauce and a touch of Basil. i really like the taste and service. 100 out of 100 price is also Cheap and in your budget. so must try once.

Pizzas were great and service was fast. The only reason I can’t give 5 stars is that the sides we ordered were terrible. The zucchini flowers lacked flavour (besides the taste of old fryer oil), and the mozzarella and tomato salad was not good (mainly due to the baffling inclusion of iceberg lettuce and corn).

I only ate 1 pizza in Napoli, and it was here. I don't know if it's better than other places around, but compared to other cities in Italy... this is the best pizza! Simple and traditional pizzas. Hope to come back again. (There is a pizza in Sardignia that competes for top spot... :))) )

Excellent restaurant in Naples we were very pleased, especially for the fish of the day which was succulent! Cooked to perfection. The other fish in the menu with some crumbs was also delicious, and a special mention for the grilled zucchini’s which have some lemon and were the best we’ve had in Naples by far! Good waiters, restaurant started getting busy towards 8.30/9pm. Decent prices. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our recent meal here so much that we came back a second time! The restaurant was cosy and inviting, the staff made us feel at home right away. Their simple menu features many local specialties and every one that we tried was delicious. I also appreciated how many dishes could be prepared gluten free. They managed to squeeze us in for a quick lunch during our family holiday to Italy. Restaurant is in a lovely spot in a nice part of the city, fairly easy to find. The food was really good. We had simple pizza and pasta dishes, but some of the other things being carried past smelt absolutely delicious, too. The pizza was some of the best we had in Italy - you know it's good when the kids enjoy eating the crusts as much as the toppings. The gluten free pizza was also delicious. Staff were very friendly and it was a lovely atmosphere - slightly more formal than other places we visited, but still very relaxed. Would love to go back if we visit Naples again.

We went to Umberto’s upon a friend’s recommendation and we had such a lovely evening. This family restaurant (3rd generation if I’m not mistaken) is proposing classic Napoli’s cuisine with family recipes on the menu. It’s the best food we’ve had in Italy so far: tasty, fresh, delicious! Massimo was very attentive to all guests and did help us select some dishes for the special occasion. The staff was super nice, present yet discreet throughout the diner. I highly recommend and we will return next time we are in Naples.

We had a starter each (baby octopus with tomato sauce and italian fried snacks) and a main course (stuffed squid and 3 small pizzas), plus drinks Food was good, service quick! Stuffed squid was really tasty! Tender meat and the inside had an interesting sweet (raisin) and sour taste (olives and other stuff)...the 3 small pizzas were a surprise because we certainly didnt expect pizza to look like that..or maybe it is just my bad Italian..anyway, food is good I was mostly impressed by the age of this place and the building itself: walls are very thick :)

The service we received was excellent. No denying it. We ordered a pizza to start and it was excellent as well. We both ordered the Genovese pasta and were not blown away by it. It was good but not great. Probably because up to this point, we had had pasta dishes that blew our minds away!

It's expensive, but absolutely worth it. One of the best dinners of my life, and definitely my favorite oyster (which of course is an Italian varietal). They heavily focus on raw seafood and knock it out of an arena. Extremely elegant, bespoke service. Our waiter/bartender even recommended a speakeasy for after. Go. Just go.

We had a reservation for 7:30, but they weren't even open when we showed up 10 minutes late. Their system didn't have us on the list, so we had to show them the email confirmation. Turns out this place doesn't open until 8 pm. Anyway, this place is somewhat expensive and their risotto isn't as good as others, but we came here for the crudo and that was amazing. Overall we had a nice experience, the services got spotty once other customers arrived though.

Most things is good and fine except the ‘grilled seafood’ on the menu which was just a bowl of mussels and clams. So beware if anyone is ordering it

Well located with a nice terrace this restaurant offers excellent seafood and an amazing wine menu (over 100 bottles). We had delicious fish tartare and carpaccio followed by tuna tataki and gambas risotto with caviar. Simply perfect!

Very creative on the food, maybe sometime a bit too much (typically for fish carpaccio, the fish layer should be thiner like the classical way), but sometimes it pays like for desserts or pasta - so continue.

This restaurant was recommended to us by our hosts, tour guides, and even AI. We decided to give it a try, but it was a big disappointment. It started with the staff, who clearly weren’t enjoying their job and definitely weren’t friendly. They snapped their fingers to move us along like cattle. After a failed first attempt, they finally seated us at an uncleared table, which they started cleaning in front of us. Drinks were served in plastic cups… the pizza was well below average – even by the standards of countries where pizza isn’t a national dish, let alone for Naples. The only thing that was acceptable were the prices, though I’m not sure if they were even justified by the quality.

What should have been a celebration of Neapolitan tradition unraveled into the most disappointing dining experience of our week. The ordeal began with a 20-minute wait outside, tolerable enough, but once seated we languished for another half-hour before a server even approached to take our order. Fifteen more minutes passed before the food arrived, by which point our appetite had given way to frustration. And then came the real letdown: the Margherita. In the birthplace of this iconic dish, one expects a delicate balance of molten mozzarella, fragrant tomato, and airy crust. Instead, what arrived was a pale imitation—the cheese congealed and rubbery, resisting the very idea of melting. It was a joyless rendition, unworthy of the Neapolitan name. The fried pizza fared no better. Advertised as being filled with prosciutto or salame, it instead harbored a muddled, offal-like filling that felt both deceptive and unpalatable. In a city where authenticity is sacred, this was a culinary betrayal. And for a restaurant as renowned, plastic glasses were something I have never seen before. In Naples, mediocrity is rare—but when it appears, it is glaring. This restaurant, regrettably, offered the lowest note in an otherwise harmonious symphony of flavors across the city.

The service was not particularly friendly, at the entrance they just yell and point you in the direction of the table. The dough was kinda bitter. The appetizers were good, but the pizzas were definitely below average for Naples I think they would be average in our country. They charge you a 15% fee for "service". Additionally they got our order wrong. It might have been one of the better pizzerias in the past but definitely not anymore.

The food was very good - but it was a long line and it was not worth it. We spent 20 minutes getting just one frittatine that was good but not worth the hassle. To try, I recommend but I would not sit down to eat here.

Nice place for pizza fritta. Other pizza styles are good too. Arancini have nice flavor but are maybe inconsistent in temperature. I have been coming here for many years. Over time it's become a bit more touristy unfortunately and service seems to have gone down.

Great pizza, terrible experience. Was told this is the spot to go in Napoli. Waited in a crowded alley dodging cars and vespas for a while waiting for a table. Once we had a table waited 20 minutes to get our order taken. Then another 45 minutes for the two pizzas! Everyone else in the room got theirs before us despite coming later, sometimes maybe seating half an hour after us. Then hounded for a tip was we were leaving since they clocked us as American. Asked locals about the place later and everyone said it used to be good. My tip, go somewhere else.

All I can say is that this pizza was the finest I have ever had. Fine, delicate crust, fresh tomato sauce, a light luck of olive oil... it's going to be hard to eat other pizza for a while.

This place is incredibly busy, so if you’re planning to try their pastries, make sure you know the system: collect a token first, head into the shop to pay for your item, then wait for your token number to be called. Don’t just stand in the queue As for the food honestly, it felt a bit overrated. Apart from the croissant, which was excellent, everything else tasted pretty average. Given the hype and the fact that it’s an Italian bakery with artisan flair, I was expecting a bit more in terms of flavour and uniqueness. Worth a visit for the experience, but don’t expect to be blown away by everything on offer.

Yes Good buiscuits but the people working there are so RUDE AND UNFRIENDLY!!! how can you give a good review? I guess they don’t care. I can see how it’s become a popular place but you don’t simply yell at the people what they want to order will stress them so much just to hurry them up, especially when you haven’t ordered that in the past and you don’t know the language also, you don’t throw the chain at someone in their face when they paid, it’s so incredibly rude so I do not recommend this at all. There are plenty of other places serving Sfogliatelle in Naples. Don’t fall for the hype.

A really good sfogliatella and I didn’t notice any hint of off-putting service mentioned by a few other reviewers. On the contrary I found the people working there to be quite friendly. The biscuit was exactly as advertised. I’d have another if given the opportunity.

So much could be said, but one bite of a sfogliatella says more than a thousand words. Pure heaven. Riccia and sfogliata were both fantastic in different ways. Their pastiera was also fantastic. Very friendly staff, and conveniently located a couple of minutes away from the main train station

Their sfogliatelle is a must-try. Freshly baked straight out of the oven. The phyllo dough is crispy and flaky, the ricotta filling is like heaven, just the perfect amount of sweetness that we love, with a delicate aromatic touch from the orange zest. Altogether a harmonious combination of flavors. We also tried their canolo a la pistaccio and another pastry filled with nutella. The taste was ok, but incomparable to their famous sfogliatelle.

Really delicious, the Sfoglia was awesome! And the price is not outrageous either despite being central. Around 3€ per pastry. Recommended. Would bring my fiancé there for a take away. Only downside is that they don't have places outside to sit and eat.

This is antique fried pizza, much like, to me, a big fried empanada with lots of cheese and a little meat. It is made by hand and cooked as you order. It will be given to you fresh from the frying pan. The place is small and most of the time there is a line and you have to wait for a while for your order. For me, it is worth the wait. You have to taste a different way of “pizza” preparation and the end result is surprisingly delicious. The generous amount of cheese melts in your mouth and the dough, although fried, is very soft. When you are visiting Naples, Italy, I recommend trying this fried pizza.

If you want to eat the classical Napoletan pizza fritta, this is the place you must come to. We had the classic (just tomato and cheese) for 4.90 EUR. It didn't have much sauce though which was a bit disappointing. I'm not gonna lie: it's just a fried pizza, so it is nothing mind blowing. It's good of course (how can a fried pizza taste bad?), but it wasn't that special. It works as a snack to share in two since it's quite heavy for just one person in my opinion.

A really great place — we tried fried pizza here for the first time, and it was an amazing discovery. €4.90 per pizza, and then you have to leave your ticket on the counter with a coin on top so the cook will prepare it — a hidden gem in the streets of Naples. There are three small tables outside where you eat standing up. We loved it. We tried the classic one and another that was recommended to us, which had meatballs inside. Both were excellent — a fantastic spot.

Hidden little restaurant with a pleasant interior and cosy music. The starter was a nice little treat; fried pasta with meat filling and a touch of sweet, the two pasta dishes were delightful in flavor and perfectly cooked. The ragú was with tender beef and tasteful tomato. Recommended for those of you who need a break from the noise in the city while enjoying good pasta. We came without reservation just after opening hour at mid day on a Thursday and the restaurant was both full and fully booked for the rest of the day.

I did a quick search on where to have lunch for a short day in Naples, showed my bf the food and he said they looked on point so we booked a tabe there - did not know they were on Michelin list for years. The place was small and full, you have a waiting line even you booked the table in advance. It is a nice cozy restaurant with good service. Food was nice, i just didnt like the panna cotta with the caramel sauce because the taste was odd to me. Overall everything was good 👍

Visited 29/7/2025. Had the Ziti Genovese, which was appropriately cooked. Paccheri friti had a nice filling, but you must eat it before it loses it's crunch. The fried cod was fine, not overcooked, though again the batter could have been improved. Two out of the 3 house white wines we sampled were bad. I've never had bad wine, so when I asked if it should smell like this, they immediately suggested changing to a different type, which we were very happy to do (was surprised that at the probability of getting 2 spoilt wines in a row, and wondered if it was just the local wine that tasted that way, but couldn't find anything on Google about whether it should smell like urine, so we went out and bought a bottle of falaghina and that tasted fine!). Happy we got the Ziti genovese, and service was very efficient, but at the end of the day, the beef wasn't actually any more tender than the local osteria where we had it for lunch.

By far the best experience we had in Napoli. The servers were amazing and the food presented beautifully. We had a reservation so we didn‘t have to wait at all, the servers were very attentive and so nice. Food wise we loved the appetizers, pasta and desert a lot. It was pretty good and not too expensive. I can recommend this to everyone visitng Naples :)

One of the best dishes in Naples. Not many have rabbit. Braised so will the meat was tender, juicy and savoury. The Pici Alla Genovese was delicious, right balance is saltiness and caramelised onions. The decor was very coat classic Italian. The tables are fairly close together. The staff was attentive friendly. Definitely would come back to try other plates.

The Sea Front Pasta Bar delivered one of the most memorable dining experiences I’ve had in Europe. From the moment we sat down, the atmosphere felt both casual and refined, perfectly setting the tone for an evening of indulgence. We opted for the chef’s six-course tasting menu, which at under €100 per person felt like an incredible value considering the quality and variety. The fun crisp starter was playful and delicious, a great way to kick things off alongside a wonderful wine selection. My favorite was a Sicilian white, bright and crisp, which paired beautifully with nearly every course. Of the pastas, the smoked clam pasta was the clear standout, smoky, briny, and perfectly balanced. Hot on its heels was the fried zucchini flower, my personal favorite bite of the night. Light, crisp, and bursting with flavor, it captured the essence of summer in one delicate mouthful. The short rib ragù over pasta was another highlight, deeply comforting and rich, while the pasta with red sauce was deceptively simple but executed with perfection. The only dish that fell slightly short for us was the eggplant-stuffed pasta. While flavorful, the fried pasta shell made it tricky to cut through, and it disrupted the otherwise seamless flow of the meal. That said, it was still tasty, just not as effortlessly enjoyable as the others. Dessert was a flawless finish, topped off by a charming tin of treats to take home. Watching the chefs cook in front of us was an experience in itself, and head chef Gianluca’s attention to detail, ear tuned to every station, made it clear he takes pride in ensuring perfection. The service was amazing, warm yet professional, and we left very happy, and very stuffed. Sea Front Pasta Bar is a must-visit.

My second time at this restaurant. I came back 3 years later to eat the pasta again and it did not disappoint. So delicious. Very classy and a lovely price point too. Highly recommended! You can see them making the pasta in front of you. The classic Napolese Ragu pasta dish was amazing! They gave us a box of Neopolitan treats to end the meal. I will definitely be coming back.

Amazing experience at the restaurant. You feel as if you’re immersed in a scene right in the middle of a kitchen. You can see the chef’s preparations, the little details that make up the dish. The chefs are very kind and don’t hesitate to chat with customers at the end of the meal. The menu makes it a restaurant open to everyone, with more affordable options as well as more elaborate, premium menus.

Unfortunately, did not meet our expectations... Atmosphere and service were good. Food was ok at best. We love pasta and yet we ended up disappointed. Strong taste and identity was clearly missing. Dessert was a joke.

We have eaten in many top-rated Italian restaurants these years, but having the pasta here was really an exceptional experience. Happy of our choice😃.

We had a delicious dinner, sampling crudo and cooked fish + local wines along with a lovely chat with Gennaro (one of the 3 owner brothers ☺️) who also very kindly arranged for us to get into Il Antiquario for post-dinner cocktails - thanks again! The restaurant is actually the fish monger shop with some tables brought out for evening dinner so it’s limited seating and very casual and you go to the dive bar across the street to use the toilet 😁 Not to be missed!

We had an amazing dinner at Pescherria Mattiucci. The service was incredible - little Salvatore was enthusiastic and helpful :) We were very impressed by the crudo dishes, especially the plate of raw fish which was fresh, tasty and balanced. The cooked dishes were also very yummy. House wine was great.

We had a wonderful evening with the crudo plate (don't be scared of the raw fish, it's the most tasty thing you ever had), a tuna tartar (still dreaming of that) and other small plates. Not cheap for Napoli, but definitely worth every cent.

Domenico Candela has achieved special excellence at George. The essence of Neapolitan ingredients, flavors and dishes elevated to sublime gastronomy. Classics presented in a new way combined beautifully with inspired invention. Everything was a highlight, but if you twist my arm, the ricciola, artichoke and sorbet of pear with Parmesan, blue cheese and cacao left me awestruck. In support, the service is exceptional, professional of course but most of all fun and playful - and not at all stuffy! And the view! As breathtaking as the food. What a unique experience we will never forget. Thank you Domenico and team for a wonderful evening.

An unforgettable experience! The George Restaurant combines creative Michelin-starred cuisine with perfectly paired wines. Every course is a highlight, accompanied by a fantastic view and a stylish, relaxed atmosphere. The service is top-notch – for me, one of the most enjoyable moments in Naples.

I would like to point out that we are used to going to starred restaurants on a weekly basis. We chose the more traditional "From 2018" menu: a complete mess, devoid of any vision or thought behind the dishes (as was the interior design, dated and devoid of any concept). A thousand ingredients combined haphazardly in dishes ranging from lemon rice with shrimp (where the citrus acidity takes over) to thick spaghetti with tomato sauce, to turbot cooked in butter with mushrooms: a decidedly unlikely pairing, where creativity is barely justified. Even the lamb. The dessert (pastiera soufflé with aran-lemon sorbet) was the most successful dish of the dinner.

What an amazing dinner! This place is a gastronomic treat! The food, presentation is creative and delicious and the perfectly paired wines added to our memorable experience! We stayed at this iconic hotel and ate at this wonderful restaurant to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The food was amazing and the staff from Stefano, Emmanuele and Enrico (sommelier) were top notch. Every dish from this tasting menu was superb. In addition the creative presentation and wonderful city and bay of naples view is worth coming here. Very romantic restaurant. Highly recommend!

Everything was perfect! The presentations given with each dish were so spectacular and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. We did the a la carte option and it seemed like the dishes were never ending. A lot of people would consider it pricey, but believe me it is well worth it! Not to mention the view! Such a great experience!!

We've been to several Michelin restaurants with 1 and 2 stars and this has been by far the worst. There was hardly anything creative in the dishes and some were also just bad taste mixes (like lamb and sardine). We had one dish replaced because of a cocoa intolerance. The replacement was probably the worst and most simple salad I've seen. Service was friendly, but time between the dishes or before our wine choice was way too long. Though, that was probably more to blame on the kitchen than the service staff. Waiters did listen and care about our honest feedback, I have to give them that. Overall, for the price it lacked outstanding flavours, wow factor in dishes, there was barely anything amazing and I said during the dinner I would've been disappointed if he had paid 50 instead of over 200€ per person. If I had been the Michelin inspector, this would hardly get one star. Ambience on the roof terrace was great, at least.

The service is pretty poor (from the details to obvious stuff like cleaning the table) and the food definitely not at the same level as other restaurants with a Michelin star. I personally dont like chocolate and as an option I got a sad salad. PS: maybe they are struggling to keep past quality, because it was a Saturday in September and 70% of the tables were empty the whole night

We found this pizzeria while researching good places to eat in Naples, but what really helped us decide was knowing that the pizza here was considered one of the best by Anthony Bourdain. That influenced our choice and it did not disappoint! The pizza was excellent, perfectly sized, and the tomato sauce was simply magnificent. We were well served, although the place was a bit noisy, probably because it was full at the time. We also noticed a gentleman who handles payments standing and watching the customers, which made us a little uncomfortable. Still, if you’re looking for authentic and delicious pizza in Naples, this is definitely the right place.

We had some time in between our trip from Rome to Sorrento. We unfortunately had our luggage with us, and the servers we absolutely great about it. Now onto the food- the pizzas were big, cooked so perfectly. The dough was so good and fresh toppings. I got the Fume, which was the best flavor combos. Pure, true and authentic Napoli Pizza.

The best pizzas in Naples, they're reasonably priced and the portions are huge. I thought it was great that they also offer a box to take leftover pizza with you, since it's huge and better to take home. I highly recommend it. The staff was very friendly.

Enjoyed my meal at this restaurant. The waiters are friendly and accommodating. Paid €18 for a large Peroni and a Buffalo Pizza. Service was extremely fast. I placed my order and within 5 minutes my pizza was ready. The portions here are large so beware on how many dishes you order!

We tried the Vesuvius and the Buffalo pizzas—both were among the best we’ve ever had! The flavors were incredible, and the Vesuvius especially stood out. On top of that, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommended!

We came here on the recommendation of our hotel receptionist and the pizza is very good. I had the Diavola pizza, excellent, tasty crust, very flavorful, and they use lots of cheese and salami. My mom ordered a calzone which is NOT the same as an American calzone. It is filled with ricotta and had very little marinara, so be aware of that if you order one. The calzone was probably not bad for those who love ricotta but it ended up being too dry and too much ricotta for our tastes. We asked for a side of marinara but they can't provide that because it isn't cooked I guess so they can't serve unless it's baked on the pizza? Luckily, our pizza was very large so we could both share and we were both very satisfied. Note, this is a local restaurant, not a touristy place so they didn't speak a ton of English and we Americans stuck out like a sore thumb. It was super busy and filled with locals for the lunch rush so that's how you know it's good. I would definitely come here again, just wouldn't order a calzone haha.

Go hungry! These pizzas are not meant to be shared. My Sorrento pizza was basically a salad on a pizza crust....good but hard to eat and I couldn't even make it through half. Expect a line...easy to see why it's popular amongst locals and tourists. Cash only!

Incredible history… the pizza is right up there, but a standout is the service and atmosphere. Some other highly rated pizza restaurants in Napoli have slightly better pizza, but can’t beat the atmosphere at Brandi… deserves a visit for all pizza pilgrims… and the best thing is its very reasonably priced .

The oldest pizzeria in Naples, but there is no corresponding refinement - character - decoration, characteristic of Italian culture... very average. Nice food, plenty of choices, pure Italian flavors, fresh ingredients. The staff is polite, smiling but slow in service (maybe it's because of the high traffic. I think it matters where you sit, for example, not in the basement, not on the first floor...I suggest the ground floor). You will find many local patrons as well as tourists. I highly recommend it for food... you just need a little patience for the service and everything is fine.

My partner told me this place was the origin of margherita pizza so we had to try it. Despite of arriving Naples at 6pm the same day we made an effort to head to Brandi which was a 18 min subway ride from Naples terminal and our hotel. The atmosphere was lovely with music playing, outdoor seating and people passing by. When we asked for the table the old server was quite rude. He told us to wait in the corner and was looking annoyed. I don't know... He might be racist. Not much asian around. He was nice to other tables 🙄 anyways, the food was amazing. Fresh, light, flavorful. The octopus salad was lacking taste a little bit but I like the sauce. The table was very slanted which was kind of awkward. The younger server was nicer and explained the food and drinks. It was still a good experience trying the origin of pizza. I'd recommend this place but service needs to improve. Pizza was definitely better than Rome. It's Naples after all 😄

Busy place - in the middle of a popular tourist stops, the history of a place responsible for creating Margherita pizza also brings in some people (🙋‍♀️) Possibility to sit in or under a parasol outside. The pizza menu is not big but you don't mess with the perfection (Margherita) We ordered plain Margherita and mushroom Margherita - both smelled amazing, like a fireplace in the middle of the forest. I would not call it the best pizza in the Napoli, but definitely still delicious and worth trying.

We nearly missed our train because of this pizza, and it was absolutely worth it. We arrived before opening, so there was no wait for a table, and the food came out quickly. The pizza was unforgettable — I still dream about it!

I highly recommend this place, the Margherita pizza is the best we ever had, the seafood pasta is not to be missed. The live music made it an unforgettable time. The best dinner experience we had in Napoli. The service was on point and the prices so cheap for the quality that makes you want to order the whole menu. One of the waitresses had zero patience and understanding of what friendly means. First we asked for an English menu and she pointed at a scannable qr code to view online. Later on, another waiter just gave us an English paper version. When we were about done, she asked if we were finished, and even with a no as answer, she began to take away our plates. I interrupted her and told we weren't yet. Not even 2 minutes later she asked again while we were still eating the bread. I reacted a bit agitated "Can't you just let us finish..?" and she turned around. When paying, another waiter even dared to say "Service not included", I wasn't gonna tip anyway after this experience. The food was mid quality at best. The steak was ordered medium rare but was very chewy and the grilled fish was nearly cold once served. Based on this experience, would not recommend.

Zi Teresa is a historic restaurant located right by the yacht harbor in Naples, known for its traditional Neapolitan cuisine and picturesque waterfront views. The setting is elegant, and the location promises a classic dining experience — but sadly, our evening fell short of expectations, especially considering the final bill of €175. We ordered several dishes: the Insalata Caprese was fresh and flavorful — a solid start. The Mazzancolle Griglia (grilled shrimp) came with four large shrimp, but they were overcooked and had a strange, medicinal taste, almost like penicillin. The Cotoletta (breaded cutlet) with fries was tasty but small, more suited for a light lunch. The Filetto di Pepe Verde was very disappointing — the meat tasted boiled and had a noticeable bitterness that made it hard to eat. We were also looking forward to trying their famous “Vesuvio” dessert, but were told it was unavailable — despite being among the first customers of the evening, which was truly disappointing. We ended the meal with Tagliata di Frutta, which was fresh, but felt like a poor substitute for what we had hoped to enjoy. To make matters worse, the end of the meal felt unprofessional and uncomfortable. The waiter told us that tips were not included in the bill and handed us an envelope. He then took the check away and only returned it after coming back to collect the envelope. When we finally saw the receipt, it became clear that a service charge had already been included. As we stood up to leave, he opened the envelope in front of us to check whether a tip had been left — a gesture that felt both disrespectful and inappropriate. Despite its lovely setting and long-standing name, Zi Teresa did not live up to its reputation, and we would not return.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Zi Teresa in Naples! We tried the mussel pasta, grilled swordfish, fried calamari, and salmon. Each dish was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The seafood was outstanding, and the setting made it even more memorable. With breathtaking views of the bay and Castel dell’Ovo, it’s the kind of place that makes you want to linger a little longer. Hello to everyone My family and i love restaurants and I can say that we have eaten quite a few around the world. I tell you for full certainty - don't get closer to this restaurant. A typical tourist trap. Nasty and shocking food. Services under all criticism. For the first time I left a restaurant and had a desire not to stay and warn people from entering the scene. My advice - all but any other choice in Naples is better!

The food was delicious, the gnocchi in particular was incredible. It’s a cute atmosphere but WOW. The servers were so rude. And would argue about mistakes they had made. Otherwise a great location and menu, and we were able to shake off the bad service aspect and enjoyed our evening… but won’t be back. It’s a shame!!

The countless amount of flying ants thrown at us by their fan murdered the vibe. It was disgustingly disturbing. Landing on our food, our skins, drinks, just everywhere. And the pasta was not even that good. Not al dente. Def tourist trap and overpriced. Oh yeah and the staff didn’t help. At all. We asked for help and they ignored us. Rude.

I liked very much the “timelessness” of the place. Very much Italy in the 1960s! Equally, the food is nice and simple yet very tasty. Where else to eat “pasta e patate” if not here!

Group of 5 of us went for lunch on our last day in Naples. Arrived right on 12:30 as they opened and they welcomed us with a great table. Impeccable service, very kind waiters even though we don’t speak Italian. Delicious food and great traditional interior.

This is a typical Neapolitan restaurant, and it’s plenty of Neapolitan customers, which means you can find here the real, and well done, traditional recipes. You can find on the walls a lot of pictures telling the long story of the restaurant, which was started about 100 years ago and is now at the third generation managed by the same family. There is attention during the service. Appetizers with buffalo mozzarella, eggplant parmigiana and fried zucchini flowers, then special soups with beans and seafood or chickpeas and chestnuts, then pasta alla genovese or puttanesca with amberjack and capers. To finish babà with rum and caprese chocolate cake. All served on timely manner for a table of 10 people. The price is right.

Time out wrote “Run by the charming Alfonso Mattozzi, who greets all his customers like old friends at the door” and yes, this is the welcome you can expect if you are Italian. However if you are foreign, despite all your best efforts to be polite and attempt to speak in Italian you will be met with surly, contemptuous waiting staff who maintain a steady level of rudeness throughout. Having said that the food was the best we had in Naples and the restaurant itself was very nice.

Nice place with the spirit of Napoli, good quality food but EXAGGERATEDLY highly priced. The owner and the waiters were so kind, we got offered an appetizer to endure hunger waiting our turn to be seated. But nothing is for free; as a matter of fact, all the kindness was to justify the highly marked-up prices and after a theatrical generous discount, we ended up paying 60€ for a shared entrée, a shared main dish and a shared dessert. 🤔 Ps: We were lucky they had a typical band playing Neapolitan traditional songs at the end of the evening and it was enjoyable.

Still has the classy Italian atmosphere which doesn’t appear a lot these days. The owners are there, you feel how much they give importance to customers, service, quality. Must try when you are in Naples. The food is delicious too. We missed some traditions so I’m writing down for you to not miss it. Order a pizza to share at the beginning even if you are 2, small mozzarella and tomatoes to share, fried plate or only some for ex. Fried zucchini flowers to taste and then primi piatti for yourselves and if there is still a place a secondi piatti to fell the restaurant at most. Enjoy!

Most of the bad reviews you'll read are from Americans expecting the staff to crawl on their hands and knees to welcome them. If you make an effort to say hello, please and thank you in Italian they will be more than nice. I do not care if the server frowns, he was very professional, and brought us delicious food. Speaking of the food, I had the bean and cuttlefish soup and it was out of this world. Naples has good seafood but this was the best I had on my trip. The pricing is extremely reasonable for the quality of the food and the comfort of the place. You can tell it's worth going because locals eat there and recommend it. Grazzie mille !

If you're looking for a traditional restaurant, this is the one in Naples. I found it on a Reddit post, and it was delicious! The meatballs and eggplant lasagna was amazing! (A little too much oil but it's Italy) This is a hidden gem!

Loved the old school authentic atmosphere. Very welcoming service. Excellent food. We had the eggplant parmigian and sausage with escarole. It was hard to decide among the offerings as so many sounded good. You absolutely have to order the Babá (Neapolitan rum cake) for dessert.

Definitely worth taking a walk out of the main tourist drag to visit this great little authentic cantina. There was fast service and genuine fresh food. Wife had the tripe which she loved and the little one had meatballs. The set menu of the day was a good deal and the cheap carafe of wine helped us have a great start to the day! Worth the visit to not pay tourist prices but we felt the portions were a little small and service a little amateur.

This pizza might have changed my religious status, because I think it made me see god. Just get the Buffalo Margherita as far as pizza. It’s so good you don’t need other toppings, they are distracting. Also, all of the appetizers / fried food are amazing.

Best pizza I ever had in Italy! Prices seemed a bit higher than other places but was 100% worth it! We could clearly taste the high quality of the products.Service was exceptional too. we went around 20:00 so we didn’t queue but when we left was extremely busy. Also tiramisu is a must to try!

We had some great pizzas at this restaurant in early October 2025. My wife said her margarita was the best she had on our three-day trip to Napoli. I also liked my pizza, an homage to the classic flavors of Calabria. Highly recommended.

Only reason I didn't give it a 5 star and am tempted to give 3 stars is due to the poor management of assigning tables when you check in at the front door. We had a party of 4 and like anyone else checked in and waited in line for around 40 minutes. People who checked in after us maybe waited 15 min with party of 2,3,4,5,6 which was pretty annoying and I've never felt disrespected as a patron. I do not like to make assumptions, but if you dont look Italian then they tend to push you aside and not honor the check-in system of first come first serve. Besides the horrible management of the line, the food here is amazing. They do have amazing selctions of pizzas, regardless of which you choose the taste and the aromas are wonderful. I will say if your from the states it might be a hit or miss, but this is as authentic as you can get with the pizza. The service inside the restaurant was top notch, love my guy speedy Gonzalez. Sorry I forgot your actual name but I enjoyed the table service and everything he recommend was perfection from the pizzas to the dessert. I would highly recommend the caramel cheesecake. I would highly recommend this spot for everyone to try and will come back when I return to Napoli again.

50 Kalò was a must-try on my list and it definitely lived up to the recommendation. I didn’t have to wait at all—was seated immediately—and when the staff realized I spoke English, they kindly provided an English menu. The pizza was huge and absolutely delicious, and the wine paired nicely with it. The only thing to note is that service is on the slower side, but then again, you’re in Italy—so relax and enjoy the experience.

Walked past and a man asked if we wanted drinks, we said no. Walked past 5 mins later and he called my partner a very offensive derogatory term in english (google won’t allow me to post what was said). Boycott this place, not acceptable, he should be sacked.

The food was mediocre. The waiters were pleasant enough but they mixed up our order. Furthermore, I found a cockroach in the bathroom. This restaurant is much cheaper than the others around it but you must also expect a lower standard.

The food wasn't worth the price at all. Very simple under average food.....for such a high price. !!!! BUT I never experienced in a restaurant before that the waiter said we should leave ( we hadn't finished our drinks yet) and ate a lot before.....because there were people waiting!!!! We went here due to Instagram and good reviews about fried pizza. We arrived around 2pm. Finding the entrance was pretty confusing. You don't see a clear, this is an entrance door, there was a take out area for this place so we were told to enter the next door where the door and window were both frosted glass so you can't see inside. The door is sliding door. Thought it was a residential place... No sign of the restaurant banner except the top banner. We were seated promptly, not many people, it's just one tiny space. The staff recommended the fried pizza it was good! If you want to try fried pizza I would recommend this place. Food came in pretty quickly. The staff wasn't friendly, when we tried to call his attention, he kind of ignored us, then when he was close, he didn't even look at us and just did this wait gesture 🫸 with his hand. Kind of rude. But we experience this at other restaurants so I guess it's an Italian thing? Maybe cause we don't have to pay tip like in the US. But overall food was good. Reasonable. Close to the train station.

Fried pizza - it is delicious. A real cross section of folks lined up to order lunch when I was there. Great craftsmanship to make the pizzas and calzones. Pretty close to the ration station if you stop over in Naples (ex. Rome to Pompeii). Don’t ask to w many questions about the health aspect of eating fried bread and cheese.

So freaking good!! I tried 4 different ones and they were all hits. Nice both as sit down and as to go. Even if you don’t typically like fried food, I would still recommend it. It does not leak oil and it feels very light.

Visited Napless from Utah to find the best Margherita pizza. Although they didn’t serve one, we were pleasantly surprised by a delicious fried pizza. if you were looking for fried pizza, this is a great spot.

If you are in Naples, whether it’s your first time,5th or 10th. This place is a must! The food is absolutely amazing and cheap! The staff is friendly and locals eat here. Got 4 pizza fritte and a beer for €22 🤯. Absolutely loved the provola e pomodoro pizza fritte and the choclate ice cream pizza fritte!! Will definitely be returning.

In a previous post, I mentioned that I let my son have gelato 🍨 without me in Napoli 🇮🇹. Of course there was a good reason for that. I was planning on having baba at Scaturchio! As you probably know, there is alcohol in baba, so my son couldn't have any. Baba is a Napoletan specialty. Well, it's also a French 🇫🇷 specialty and a Polish 🇵🇱 specialty. 😅 I read a lot about baba and its origin, and the most common theory is that it's a babka to which Stohrer (a pastry chef in Paris) added rhum to make it less dry for the French king. This was then brought to Napoli by the French and this is where it became popular. Of course I was not there at the time and everybody has a different version of this story. So don't get mad at me if yours differs, that's just the one that makes the most sense in MY opinion. 😇 I like baba a lot for 2 reasons: 1) I don't eat it often 2) it was one of my grand-mother's 🥰 favorites. That said, I think it's very hard to achieve a good baba. You need to find a good balance between sweet and alcohol in the syrup and you need to make sure the dough is moist enough so the syrup travels properly through it, but not too much so it doesn't fall apart. I think this one was close to perfect, if not perfect. 👍 The tart my wife had was not good, though, unfortunately. 👎 Plus it came broken and it was crazy expensive (€6 as opposed to €3.5 for the baba 😳). The total price was quite high, €15 for 2 coffees and 2 pastries, but we sat at a terrace in the middle of the tourist area so that was to be expected. 🤷 The service was kind of slow but correct. Now I need to go back there to try all the other types of baba cause that was just the classic one and they have lots of fancy ones! 😋 Quality & taste: 7/10 Quantities: 9/10 Atmosphere: 8/10 Originality: 7/10 Ratio price / quality: 7/10 Service: 7/10 How I felt afterwards: 7/10

We took few different cakes and all tasted very nicely, they were not too sweet, coffee was very good as well. Definitely nice place with climate. Re different cakes it was all explained on the piece of paper with pictures so there was no confusion when ordering them.

Went twice, got the sfogialata frolla and cannoli the first time and the sfogialata riccia the second time. I recomment the sfogialata riccia, very crunchy on the outside, warm, soft and creamy on the inside. The cannoli shell was too thick, not recommended. I really wanted to try their neapolitan pasteria but they dont sell it by slice and since i was alone, it didnt make sense to buy an entire pie. Price to quality is amazing, must have it for breakfast when in naples, like a true Italian

It's good, but the prices are too high, let alone for Southern Italy. It felt like a tourist trap to be honest, since there are much better places where you can spend literally less than half. The pastiera was good (but 6 EUR for a slice seems WAY too much), and the frittatina di pasta too (4 EUR). The thing is that none of them blew my mind, they were good but quite standard. There are much better places in more hidden streets such as Pasticceria Pascal. I would recommend it if you're visiting Napoli for the first time, since you must have a breakfast at Scartuchio... But probably wouldn't come here if you're looking for an authentic place where local people go.

Tried to find a place to grab some sweets for us to save for breakfast the next day for an early flight. This was one of the only ones open with options left in the case. We grabbed the caprese cake and the lemon option as well, Sfogliatella, and frolla…. The cakes were to die for!!! So moist even the next day. Definitely recommend stopping in here for your sweet tooth! They even wrapped everything up to-go very nicely

Napoli one of the oldest and best reputed pastry shop since 1905. We have two sfogliatela and two napolitana. They are massive big so one and one to share are enough. Delicate pasta outside and inside is fill with a creamy texture similar to crema pastelera. Really nice both. If you need a punch of energy it’s a great options. The accept credit card as some of the smaller shop don’t. The picture is not completely accurate as i remember token when we eat most of the pastries.

I visited on a Saturday evening and arrived on dot for opening time. Managed to get the table right away but I saw people already lining up and forming a queue. It filled up fast as it isn’t a big place. I ordered the 8 star shaped pizza and it was amazing! The ricotta cheese pockets were incredible. I ordered another pizza for take away and that was as good! Great service too. Definitely recommend!

I was in Naples for a short 17 hours and this pizzeria did not disappoint! The wait can be long but it is worth the wait. Do your research on what pizza and which flavors you like before-hand and they will deliver excellent, memorable, and inspiring pizzas. Incredible neopolitan dough and flavors. Even if in Naples again for a few hours I will be back.

We had the best pizza here. It was incredible and we wish we had stayed in Naples longer to visit more than once. The star shaped pizza is so unique but honestly the classic pizza I had was the best I’ve ever eaten. Also very very reasonable prices I think my one was €8 or very similar price. Would definitely recommend visiting.

Pizzeria Da Attilio on Via Pignasecca is an absolute gem! The pizzas are incredible—fresh, flavorful, and authentically Italian. The restaurant is clean, well-maintained, and has a few outdoor tables if you prefer dining al fresco. They also offer takeaway if you're on the go. La Ortolans is the best veggie pizza I have ever tasted. Come for lunch so that you walk write in. When we came back for dinner on a weekday, we had to wait about an hour.

I only had a few hours in Napoli and only 1 opportunity to eat the best Napoli pizza. I read multiple articles and landed on this place, walked here for 40 minutes and was not disappointed. This place was worth it. Da Michelle is a joke compared to this place, and if you choose hype over taste - you’re a fool in my opinion. Yes I tried Da Michelle before and these two don’t even stand next to each other in terms of taste. Da Attilio is a clear winner. All 3 pizzas that I tried were good: neapolitana, margherita, carnaval star pizza.

Osteria da Antonio is a truly heartwarming place in Naples. We had a fresh seafood salad, perfectly cooked steak, and lemon-mussel pasta that was full of flavor. The house wine was light and easy to drink. For dessert, we enjoyed a delicate lemon cream with a pastry base — soft and nostalgic. As a gift from the kitchen, we were offered a magical fresh ricotta. What made the experience special was the waiter: not just polite, but kind and gentle, like the soul of the place. He introduced each dish with warmth and care. This is not a showy restaurant — it’s real, honest, and unforgettable.

If I could give this place 11/5 stars I would. This was the most phenomenal meal I have ever had in my entire life! My husband and I are in Italy on our honeymoon and this restaurant has genuinely made our trip! We both ordered their famous lasagna and it was the most flavourful, rich, perfect lasagna we have ever had! We have been to a lot of restaurants in Naples, but this was the first one that truly felt authentic and for locals rather than tourists. The restaurant is family owned, and Antonio was so kind and the overall experience was so amazing! It’s not far from the metro and if you value authentic and delicious Italian cuisine, I highly recommend coming here! The tiramisu and lemon cake were also the best desserts we’ve ever had! I am not exaggerating when I say this is the best meal I have ever had the privilege to eat! GO HERE!!!!!!!

Osteria da Antonio is a must visit if you are in Naples. Antonio, the owner, is a pleasure. We arrived at 9:30pm without a reservation, yet he seated us with little wait inside the restaurant. There were many items unavailable, so we will be coming back tomorrow to try them. We had the lemon spaghetti with shellfish, the mussels, the calamari, and the vegetable soup. They were all spectacular. Such fresh and tender mussels, salted by the sea but not fishy in flavor. Much better than the frozen rubbery mind I have tried at many much more expensive establishments. The spaghetti was terrific, with tender tiny and long neck clams. The vegetable soup was textbook, soft vegetables and piping hot delicious broth. The best part of the experience, though, was the owner. You can tell he genuinely loves the food and the restaurant. I will be back many times.

The service was top notch. All the staffs so sweet and helping. Started outside with notice of it might rain but when it started raining they made sure we have a space inside with new set up of everything. The food was amazing as well. It wasn't just service that was good. The food was top tier, Octopus and squid was so soft and well seasoned. The steamed sea bass was extra flavoursome, the owner also helped us prepare it on table with greatest manner. As well the starter carpacio of sword fish was just beautiful. All went so well with their house wine recommendation. And finishing the meal with their recommended tiramisu and lovely cold limoncello was just such a great experience for sea food in Napoli.

I would eat here everyday if I could. Beautiful restaurant run by a beautifully caring father and son. The food was glorious and succeeded our expectations. The staff went above and beyond and we were just so happy with our dinner experience yesterday.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience here! The food was authentic, fresh, and bursting with flavor — truly some of the best I’ve had in Naples. But what really made the evening special was the incredible service from Andrea. He was warm, attentive, and made us feel completely at home. His recommendations were spot-on, and his genuine passion for hospitality shone through in every interaction. If you’re in Naples, this place is a must-visit — and if you’re lucky, you’ll be served by Andrea!

Half of the meals on the card were taped away because they weren't available, which extremely limited the choice to a minimum. I then ordered clabrese salad and the pasta with shellfish, and it was tasty, even though due to the cold plate the food also got cold fast and very often I felt like biting into sand. Overall it was good but could be much better.

I decided to try all of them after seeing the crazy line to try these, but the staff is really really fast. and I ate the deserts in the plate and I felt great 😂 i even had two more before my flight . I got 10 fiocchi di neve with me, for my friends to try and I brought 5 of them home. I got them at 14:00 and I was home after my flight to Albania at 22:00. They can last for 10 hours without being refrigerated and three days refrigerated. I should have gotten more. After being refrigerated they tasted even better. I got just one with pistacchio but it was so good. It is worth the wait. They should have added one charging place cause with that line I lost my battery and I got what I wanted instead of communicating with my cousins to ask them what would they prefer.

as what others said, the snowflake pastry is really good! it's soft and sweet but it's light. we really enjoyed it. the baba is not bad too, can taste the rum and good that they sell the small size because we're quite full. we went quite early in the morning and there was no queue surprisingly. no seating inside so we had to takeaway and eat outside

A good place with normal service. The specialty, the 'fiocco di neve' (snowflake), is very good. However, it's not a café, so there are no drinks, and maybe some pastries are missing, but it's fine.

What delicious food! And what a relaxed environment, we had all the time we needed to eat together and enjoy the meal with the children. This place is like a little oasis in the crowd of the city. The food choices were creative and the flavor combinations were very satisfying. We are vegetarians, but there would be no problem finding delicious options here for meat eaters.

Eating here was a beautiful experience that we can’t put into words. The food was extremely tasty, the service was lovely and prompt, the atmosphere was delightful. As two long-term vegans from the UK, we were having trouble finding places to eat during a weekend in Naples. We were excited to find somewhere like this that had an exciting menu and in an easy accessible area. The venue catered for outdoor and indoor eating and had the traditional Italian vibe we were looking for. We had starters, mains and desserts and did not want to leave. There were even local friendly cats who made our visit even more special - their friendliness was a good sign of the kindness of the venue. The staff were friendly and attentive. We were blown away by the extremely tasty, fresh and healthy flavours. We will definitely be visiting again next time we are in Naples!

Amazing healthy vegetarian food, with a menu that changes daily. My wife and I were in Naples for 9 days and came here twice—great for taking a break from the classic Neapolitan food. Very friendly and accommodating staff.

We went there after reading all the good comments but we were a bit disappointed: quite expensive for the amount of food (10€ for a simple plate of veggies- pumpkin, cabbage and cauliflower puree), the food -especially the risotto- was super salty, the dessert (vegan chocolate souffle) was ok, and they also charge you 2€ per person for the service (it seems a common thing here in Naples...). On the other hand, the waitress was nice and she spoke English, the place is charming, they serve the food pretty fast; and it's great to find a bio, vegetarian-vegan place when traveling. Sorry for the bad review, but I've been vegan for 8 years and I've tried much better dishes.

Un Sorriso Integrale is in a great location just a few steps from Piazza Bellini, and a few steps away from where my husband and I were staying. We stopped by for lunch one day and were a few minutes early. No problem, they let us sit and wait while they finished writing up the menu for the day. After we received the menu it took a while for someone to come back and take our order, and it took forever for our food to come out. There were only two or three other tables occupied, and they got their food before we did even though they arrived and ordered after us. It took at least 45 minutes for our food to come out. The minimal service we received throughout was quite bland and not friendly. A very chilly vibe. Our bill came to over 50EUR and we tried to pay with a 100EUR bill (it was the second day of our trip and we didn't have a lot of small bills yet) and they refused. I've been to Italy several times and I know that they hate big bills/love exact change. However, it is not unreasonable to try to break a 100EUR bill for an amount over 50EUR. I was excited to try this vegetarian restaurant in Napoli, but the service was just so off-putting. The food we had was good, but nothing exceptional that would compel me to go back or recommend it :(

It's funny reading some of the reviews of this restaurant, it felt like we had the exact opposite experience of most of the other reviewers. The service was great and I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. It was definitely one of the best dinner experiences we had in Naples. The plating of the food was impeccable and I think the experience was really good. I just don't think the food tasted as good as we were hoping it would. Especially given the Michelin star. It wasn't bad by any means, and I think it was totally acceptable for the price point. I was just expecting to be wowed by the taste of the food and I wasn't.

In a word - disappointing. Although the food was very tasty and the ingredients clearly of great quality, the staff really ruined the experience. We ordered the 6 course set menu. After the initial question of whether we would like to start off with sparkling wine, the sommelier nor the waiters did not pay any attention to us. The wine and water we poured ourselves. The main waiter was rude and dismissive, with every question about olive oil or salt met with a contemptuous waving of the hand. We were charged extra, which we brought to the attention of the staff. After correcting the bill we did inform the main waiter of our experience, which he didn’t seem to care about. It is quite surprising that an establishment with such poor customer service would be deemed worthy of a Michelin star.

We had the Authentico menu for our first dinner in Naples here tonight, and everything from wine selection to service and presentation was impeccable. Every dish highlighted the taste of the region, was artistic and delicious. Thank you for a great dinner!

Very good waiting staff, interesting meals though some a bit salty. Presentation perfect. One star less because there is a one Michelin star restaurant in Warsaw, Poland that is much better.

First of all, it must be admitted - the food is really great, we ordered a 6-course menu with seafood. It was one of the best octopus I have ever eaten in my life. Unfortunately, everything is spoiled by the service. Michelin-Star restaurant? I don't think so. I ignore the fact that absolutely none of the waiters are interested in whether we have drinks or not, we sit with dirty plates, empty glasses (although there are 6/7 staff members running around aimlessly in a small room), we had to get up and take our wine to pour it into glasses. No one asked if we liked the food, no one offered coffee, tea or anything really. we had the impression that the staff wanted to serve the dishes as quickly as possible and finish the service. At the end it turned out that the bill was incorrect (of course for a larger amount), then we told the main waiter about our complaints, he shrugged his shoulders, said he was sorry and walked away. Generally, it is a great pity that the phenomenal work of the kitchen is ruined by poorly trained and blasé staff.

Was excited for this based off the very positive reviews but it ended up being the only actually bad Michelin experience I have had. The two stars are for the wine pairing which was excellent and the only thing to be salvaged from the experience. The food was disappointing and borderline bad. It was often VERY fishy tasting and consistently uninteresting. Amberjack was served for multiple of the courses and in every case was rather tough and tasted the same. Further the staff came across as borderline rude throughout the night. My meal finished around the same time as another couple there and, curious whether I was just reading into things, I asked them what they thought and they agreed the staff was rude and the food wasn’t great. In a city like Naples with a TON of excellent “cheap” food do yourself a favor and skip this place.

Glad we tried this place, it was one of the best meals we had in Naples and I would recommend it to others visiting the area. Pros: food was delicious, the welcome dishes were thoughtful and tasty, our favorite bites were the beef tataki and iverian pork, the 7 course meal gave us plenty of food and left us satisfied afterward, the wine pairing was also excellent. Cons: the layout of the restaurant is odd, we dined in a small room off to the side with only 3 tables, felt a little removed from the rest of the diners. The courses themselves came out very fast at first then we randomly had these long delays between dishes toward the end of the meal (may have been intentional, we didn't care for the inconsistency) and the rum baba dish, we simply could not eat it, the rum flavor was so strong it over powered the dish. Overall, though, we did enjoy this place abd thought the prices were reasonable. Thank you for a great experience.

The staff is super friendly, professional and english speaking. You can enjoy a seat here at the end of the big piazza so it is not super crowdy or loud but you still get some of the atmosphere. We had some cocktails here one evening. They are a bit pricier for the neighbourhood, but the cocktails are very well done. And you get some cool snacks to go with them. Would recommend going here!

Great atmosphere, lots of outdoor tables, super good service! I generally place this bar in my top bars in the city. The only negative thing is, being in Naples, I would appreciate a more rich aperitivo, as we were served some chips only (not even fresh I think). Other than that, the place is great.

Fantastic cocktails with superb tastes. The place is very beautiful because of the plants and the lights they have used to decorate it. Very kind people and their smiles and hospitality fill your heart. All in one this was one of the best places and experiences I had in Naples and I will certainly visit it again.

Modern style art cafe within an historic building. Everything is top quality and a refreshing change from the formality of the traditional Italian cafes. A nice place to relax with coffee and pastry daytime or an aperative in the evening.

My Favourite spot that I’ve discovered in Naples. It’s a gorgeous gem hidden away. I can only talk about the cafe area and food - the courtyard is gorgeous - it’s a beautiful gem for sitting with a coffee/drink and reading. I’ve visited three times so far. Cappuccino with oat milk is delicious, the lovely guy gave me little biscuits too. I returned for coffee a 2nd time. And my third time I had lunch - bruschetta (so tasty) and a mixed salad which was fresh and just what I was after as a healthy option. Portion size perfect too, served with bread. Peach / lemon ice tea is divine here. Each time I’ve visited I’ve had a wonderful warm feeling from the staff. The courtyard seating area really is a little gem away from the busy streets. Highly recommend. Would make a perfect catching up with friends spot / but also ideal if you’re solo and just want to read or write - love this place so much REVISITED 2025 - loved this spot so much. It’s a perfect place.

This restaurant is really cute inside. Service was great and food is fantastic. They do so many classic Naples dishes like frittatina, pizza fritta, fried dough balls and croquettes. Highly recommend the mortadella and pistachio pizza, it’s fantastic.

I thought there is no Perfect Restaurant, but this one broke the rule and exceeded all expectations. Traditional Autgentic Italian Pizza Specialized and everything is So good, they are very Honest freundly helpful people and specially Francisko is so nice and gentle. If I was not a tourist I would come everyday for sure, don't miss it .

La Figlia del Presidente is the only place we went to twice while in Napoli — that says it all! The pizza was absolutely incredible, easily the best we had the whole trip. It’s got a real feel of a proper family restaurant, full of character, energy and warmth. Locals were eating there (always a good sign), the price was really reasonable, and it just captured the best of Napoli perfectly. If you’re visiting the city, this is a must-go. Authentic, welcoming, and unforgettable — we loved it.

I'm happy they have the gluten-free options as well (the gluten-free option is pizza croccante, so not thick and fluffy + the size is about 20/25% smaller compared to a normal pizza)! Great dining experience. We went there at the right time (around 7pm for dinner) as the pizzeria wasn’t that busy. We were served straight away and didn’t long for our order. The food was amazing! They have a spacious dining area upstairs which is where I would recommend to go have a seat as downstairs may be hot with the wood-fired oven being used.

One of the best Margherita & Margherita D.O.C pizza, I have ever tasted and appreciated. The sauce was delicious and generous. The dough was baked to perfection with soft thin crust and crunchy bites on the edge. If you are in the Spaccanapoli area find Pizzeria Trianon. Great service and food and received Michilen award in 2020.

Hands down the best pizza I have eaten in my life!! The funghi was the perfect balance of cheese mushrooms tomato sauce and basil. You also cannot pass ip the opportunity to try their vino rosso! Be warned - you get your own small bottle not just a glass. Molto Bellissimo!!!!!

A truly delicious pizza larger than the plate it’s served on! I would recommend the sausage and mushroom pizza, avoid the classic calzone unless you like that weird tasting cheese.

Legendary Neapolitan Pizza From the very first years of operation, Trianon has used the same principles as today: • dough made exclusively from flour, water, salt, and yeast • oven – exclusively wood-fired • San Marzano tomatoes, Fior di Latte mozzarella, basil, olive oil Perfetto !

The filled bread is really good and the classical Neapolitan pizza is very well executed and with top quality ingredients. Service is top and the wine list has a small but well thought selection. I understand that the theme here is to do a single thing very well, however, this allows this place to go as far as a classical approach can bring you: a single (classical) impasto, the lack of artisan beer and the tiny dessert list are main limitations for me to compete at the highest level in nowadays landscape.

I asked for sweet wine, but they opened a dry one for me, although they took it away right away and I didn't have to pay. The pizza is great! But be sure to reserve tables in advance. They accept dogs, but there are no special plates to give your pet a drink. If you don't finish your meal, they have very convenient thermal boxes and you will bring home the pizza in excellent condition. I recommend it!

Amazing pizza! Enzo was front of house and greeted us like we were family! His team really looked after us. I started making pizzas five years ago at home with a Roccbox, and as a pizza fanatic, the chefs were more than happy for me to see behind the scenes of the pizza production and chat about it. There are lots of options for toppings, and it all tasted fresh and fantastic! The prices are very reasonable considering the high quality. I can't recommend it enough and honestly the best pizza I have eaten so far!!

What can I say about a pizzeria owned and run by a living legend? We had a great time at this restaurant! I had made a reservation in advance and when we arrived we were seated right away without delay (they had the table waiting for us). The owner is a very friendly and charming guy - he chatted with us and others while bussing tables himself! The atmosphere is lively but not loud, energetic but not intense. I had the Tucci pizza and loved the spicy paste - it was tasty. No complaints and I would return if back in Naples!

We had Sunday lunch here and as far as we could tell were the only non-Italians and almost the only ones in a pair - most were big family groups enjoying Sunday lunch with each other. The food was great - I had the seafood risotto - the service was kind and effective and slightly off hand (in the best way). We loved it, my favourite meal and atmosphere in Naples- noisy, fun, busy and full of flair. We arrived without a reservation, had to wait about 30 minutes but we weren’t forgotten about.

A tourist trap convenience. The food and service were passable, but not up to the quality we expect given the price we paid, which was 60€ per person including children. Then they insulted us as we left by trying to charge us 50€ to park on the street in front of their restaurant. It's not too far from the port, but the view of the port is obstructed.

Went for dinner. Very busy place, lots of Italians, that was the good bit. The food was okay, had the Buffalo mozzerella starter and seafood linguine for a main. The main was a disappointment as I’d had a similar dish in Rome and Venice which were leagues ahead of the Naples version. What was very worrying though was that the staff didn’t know what to do with olive oil. It was like they’d need heard of the stuff. Rather embarrassing for these Italians.

Very nice position, food mostly good apart from the ice cream that had very fake taste. It's a pity that waiter wasn't bringing menu but just was proposing few dishes to choose from. In this way we couldn't see prices that can be tricky.

The food test good, but the portion is too small for a man. If you go on diet then it’s perfect. They’re are like 8 pieces of pasta in my plate.

Finally had the chance to try this restaurant. The interior design was always catching my attention, I like it a lot. We shared pasta, it was very good. I wanted to have steak but it wasn’t enough and it wasn’t exactly the pure steak taste I was looking for. I can say the portions are small and unfortunately the prices are a little bit high. In Naples normally two people meal is like 40-50 including a bottle. We paid 44 euro each by drinking 2 glasses of wine. However the gentleman that was helping us was so kind and friendly.

Terrific pasta, friendly service. We went on a night that was very quiet because Italy were playing in the Euro Cup that night. but it deserves to be full every night. Highly recommended

TL:DR Disappointing. Not a bad place, but it has a long way to go to earn the prices asked on the menu. The place looks nice and presents itself as gourmet dining. Nothing crazy rich, but certainly artsy and on the upper level. The exhibition of 80s anime portraits is lovely. The menu prices definitely align with this expectation. But then the expectation is not met. The food (in so far as the eponymous salumi go) is "ok", maybe even "good", but nothing special, nothing to write home about. Nothing I could rate 4 stars. And then both the presentation and the quantity leave a lot to be desired. I _can_ understand paying 16€ for barely a taste of a small selection of things when the overall experience is memorable or the quality is very good. But this isn't it. The service was polite and didn't cause any problems, but it also wasn't particularly charming or swift. A solid 3 stars... except: - when asked for info about the food, the waitress had no idea about it. "What's in the Tagliere?" shouldn't be an unexpected question and in the end we received no answer. The selection of cheeses and salumi remained a mystery to us. What was the foam? What where the different kinds of (maybe?) ricotta? Etc. - we were served the side dishes waaay before drinks or the dishes they were supposed to accompany, leaving us in the company of 4 bowls of veggies for quite some time - when asked about desserts a waiter was well informed and explained them to us (👍) but then it turned out that only a few were available (🙁) but the kitchen would prepare more (🙂) but only after a bunch of the available ones were gone (🙁) but he could have asked for what we wanted anyway (🙂) but it would have taken maybe 20-30 minutes so... not gonna happen (🙁) even though we expressed that we could happily have waited. At least the cocktails were well made and honestly priced 🕊️

Huge disappointment. I was really excited to try the ragú at this restaurant, as I read it was amazing, among other dishes; unfortunately our dinner did not go as amazing as we had hoped. First, they brought one of us our dinner with the appetizers, so my aunt was either forced to let it get cold and wait or eat first and watch us eat later. We waited a really long time for our dinners to come out, the table next to us came in after us and order tons of dishes(!) and got all of them before our main dishes arrived. I order the ragú pasta, my boyfriend got the genovese pasta, and his mother got the bufalo burger(which is just a patty, no bun). The “burger” was good but it said it came with a side salad, but i wouldn’t claim a thin pile of shredded iceberg with nothing on it a salad. Now for the worst part; Both my bf and I’s pasta’s were SEVERLY undercooked. As a chef, I understand what al dente is, and frankly I prefer it. I think that good fresh pasta is toothsome and textured, not too soft/not too hard. This pasta was white and crunchy in the middle. Inedible. When I asked our waitress what could be done about this she claimed that the chef put it in the boiling water the amount of time that this particular pasta shape takes(15min) and that was it. No apology, no offer to cook it a little longer. Just this is what you get; claiming that this is al dente and that it was fine the way it was. I strongly disagreed and the pasta was left on the plate. Overall, an over rated restaurant with a confusing theme and menu with disappointing food and service.

With the family (2 adults, 11 years old and eight years old sons) have been in UPNEA for lunch and dinner. The personal is very very gentle and give the feeling of relaxing atmosphere. The food is good, we recommend “polpette” & “ Napolitan fries”.

Enjoyed some great meats and cheeses here for lunch. Unfortunately they were out of buffalo mozzarella because it gets delivered daily, but they would have it in time for dinner. They had great bread and a gluten-free beer!

I came across this in a special guidebook about Naples, and on our last day, we went for a little pastry, and I'm glad we did. Tiny little place, the guy sat behind the counter, smoking, asked us if we wanted to try something delicious, and then he just handed us a fresh little bun filled with pork and egg. It was piping hot and so delicious. We had two little pastries as well. We sat in this very simple family run place and had a little piece feel of what naples is about. Wouldn't travel across town, but it was an 800m walk from our place and well worth it.

Strange place.. as soon as we entered - very old guy just put some bread in our hands, then we tried to ask for some pastry and instead of 2 pieces - he put double-triple amount of everything. In the end he charged us with 10 euros. We threw all this bakery in the bin, because it was not good and some of it were not fresh(
