great value for price. Given the rather weak door the room is not well isolated from noise. Staff is very friendly. Easy check in etc. There is parking and the guys are supposed to accept credit cards, but it doesn’t work. Bring cash. Breakfast is the only downside really. Coffee is way below Italian standards, and otherwise not exciting at all. Forget about the breakfast and just visit any bar close by for an acceptable cappuccino and brioche.

We had a night’s stay in Napoli on a recent trip and this awesome little hotel proved to be the perfect spot. The staff was incredible and went above and beyond with recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants.. The location cannot be beat. It’s walkable to all the great spots. Lastly, our room was perfect and super comfortable. Highly recommended!

My husband and I spent nine wonderful nights at Artemisia Domus. The hotel’s location was perfect for exploring Naples by foot, and having a few metro stations nearby was great for getting to the train station to take day trips. Everything about our room was great: comfortable bed, large bathroom, handy kitchenette. We also enjoyed all the breakfast options available each morning. Lastly, the staff was so friendly and helpful. I’m so glad we chose this hotel for our stay in Naples!

Helpful staff and good breakfast, but the tissue box was empty, the tea tray in our room was dirty, one of the tea mugs was covered in dust and we only got 3 individual teabags (despite the holder having space for 6). For the price per night I had expected details like that to be taken care of. Also the room was very hot despite it being cold outside, so there must have been a heating element on somewhere that we could not find. Ended up sleeping with the balcony door open. Beds were very nice to sleep in, and the room came with a smart TV which was nice

This was our final stay in Italy when we left Italy and it was a great way to end! We loved the design of the rooms, especially the tubs and the mattress was SO comfortable. The staff were very kind and helpful. The breakfast was lovely and had gluten free options too. We would stay again!

During our stay in Naples, we chose the Artemisia Domus in the Centro Storico and booked the Cleopatra Suite, which featured a Jacuzzi tub. Although the jets in the Jacuzzi weren't as strong as expected, the color-changing lights and fluffy bathrobes really added to the relaxing atmosphere. The staff was exceptional, servicing our room daily and even folding our clothes, which was a pleasant surprise. The included breakfast was also well done, with a great selection that catered to gluten and dairy-free needs. One of the highlights of our stay was meeting other international guests in the dining area, where we enjoyed sharing travel stories over breakfast. The hotel's location is fantastic—centrally located in Naples, within walking distance to several attractions and hot spots, including the main road Via Toledo and the coast. Getting around was easy, with Uber available for trips to places a bit further out. The hotel staff were always available to assist, from the time of booking through our entire stay. They were accommodating, even coordinating an in-room massage for us the day after we arrived from London, which was an absolute treat. If you're looking for a well-located, welcoming place to stay in Naples with great service, Artemisia Domus is a solid choice.

Our stay here was nice, and it is a lovely hotel in the heart of Naples. The pool was a nice touch and the breakfast was delicious. The rooms was nice, but I do feel like the price was maybe a little high for the value. Overall, a nice stay.

At €300 a night this is an extremely overpriced hotel in what is a very cheap city. The staff don’t really care and are rude. No friendly welcome and they don’t apologise when they mess stuff up. The rooms are small and pretty basic with loud air con units. There’s some art made of old pipes lying around the place but they need to concentrate on customer service. A cappuccino in the morning would have been great too, especially at €300 a night.

I am already planning the next trip to stay in Constantinopoli 104 again. The decor is delightful and the front desk service impeccable. Vincenzo went above and beyond to help us! I cannot thank him enough! The rooms were very clean and comfortable with spacious bathrooms. They have an excellent continental breakfast with friendly staff. We really enjoyed the art work in the main rooms. It is a beautiful mix of traditional and modern. My husband called it "very funky cool." The location couldn't be better. It is very close to bars, restaurants, museums and shopping. Since the hotel is set back a little , it is extremely quiet. This was the last the last place we stayed on a 2 week trip and it was our favorite hotel. The garden and pool are beautiful. They provided a much needed oasis and moment of rest. I highly recommend and Aperol spritz poolside. Thank you Constantinopoli 104! We will definitely stay here again when we return to Naples!

This is one of the more disappointing hotels I have stayed at. The reviews and hotel rating are misleading. I paid 400 dollars for a run down room, that had no hot water, pealing paint from the walls, and an uncomfortable bed. The rooms are extremely run down. (See photos). Aside from location, this hotel is nothing short of a 2 star!!! Don’t recommend at all, feels totally over priced for what you are getting.

Quiet oasis in the heart of historical centre. Rooms a bit basic and small but had rooftop terrace outside our room so not a problem. Good breakfast. Amenable staff. Great to have a small pool to dip into after hot day sightseeing. Great location . A lot of the sights are within walking distance otherwise close to metro and bus stops. Hotel will also call a taxi for you if you prefer.

My teens went for a couple of nights and they were really well looked after. Junior suite was lovely. Staff recommended places to eat and visit.

The excelsior is located in one of the most prime locations in Naples with beautiful views of the sea and Vesuvius. The hotel itself is beautiful and historic. The main thing which impressed me about the hotel was the hospitality and excellent service. I have stayed at my fair share of hotels and I have never met a hotel concierge as helpful and welcoming as Giuseppe. Giuseppe assisted us with the check in process and made sure everything was to our liking, he truly went above and beyond. Thank you for your help Giuseppe and thank you Eurostars Excelsior for the hospitality!

Flight canceled so found this through the chase travel app. Room was decorated classically and very spacious. Giant balcony with two separate outdoor eating areas. Beautiful sea view and view of the volcano. Local area seems very safe with plenty of food/drink options.

Wonderful hotel! We had such a fantastic stay at Eurostars Hotel Excelsior. The staff were incredibly kind, professional, and welcoming – always with a smile and ready to help with any request. The location couldn’t be better, right on the waterfront promenade, with stunning views of the bay and Castel dell’Ovo. Our room with a sea-view balcony was simply breathtaking – waking up to that view was unforgettable. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of fresh and delicious options. Everything felt very well maintained, clean, and elegant, with a touch of classic charm that makes the hotel feel truly special. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Beautiful atmosphere, great service, perfect location – it really made our visit to Naples memorable. We will definitely come back here on our next trip to the city. Highly recommended!

Never found somewhere so unlike a hotel like this garbage. cannot even stay for a night, What can I say? Very slow WiFi, a night club nearby and the walls do not work. Cannot find peace here, worst choice of this trip perhaps. Really wanna flee. A waste of over 2,000 dollars. booked this hotel for its old world charm although the reviews made me hesitant. But honestly, I am regretting now because the staff here is SUPER RUDE. The doorman is sweet and helpful. Some of the receptionists? They have an attitude like they hope to drop guests on the road at once. If they are just unwelcoming, I will try to understand it. However, they just look down on you, speak coldly like you are a trouble, and reject any service request. What a shame that a beautiful hotel is disdained by the receptionists more like robbers instead of hospitality professionals. Feeling disgusted to stay here but god I have paid the full amount. The other receptionists? Well they finally tried to help with a polite attitude because I was on a temper too. Like, why, you should be very series and then they will work? I do not know if I have been discriminated (for some guests reviewed the receptionists were marvelous). I can just wrap up my mood and attempt to believe they had a bad day and they have realized what they did was improper—just due to their bad day rather than my race. Is it too late to flee to another hotel now? A total disturb to my long planned holidays. You spent hundreds of bucks to feel frustrated. (Leave alone the room wall here is paper thin and many facilities seem like never having a maintenance. My major destination at the Naples Bay is of course Pompeii. But what left me not stay at Moxy Pompeii which is located just at the archaeological park’s door side? I hoped to have a retreat after a frustrating year, so I booked here, but ended in an Airbnb vibe.) (Oh lastly if Hotel Romeo does not have a modernist deco style I’d have chosen there. Got enough of the metropolis. But alright, next time there.)

We had an exceptional experience during our recent stay at Hotel Piazza Bellini. From the very beginning, communication with the staff was excellent—every question was answered promptly, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Assistance with the ZTL passes was especially appreciated, as it allowed us to enter the centre of Naples smoothly and without any issues. We stayed in two apartments, accommodating six guests, and both were perfect for our needs. The rooftop terraces were a particular highlight, offering beautiful views of Naples where we could relax and enjoy the atmosphere of this amazing city. What impressed us most was how accommodating and attentive the team was to every request, a special mention to Federica, nothing was too much trouble, thank you! We would be delighted to return in the future and highly recommend Hotel Piazza Bellini!

Our family, two adults and two children, were very happy with our stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice and spacious room. The hotel is located in a lively and nice area. If we travel to Napoli again, we will definitely choose Hotel Piazza Bellini.

Location is perfect for popping out for dinner and drinks. Also close to the train station for getting around to other places. Room was small but had everything we needed. AC was great and the included breakfast was nice as well.

The staff were very friendly and our room was clean and spacious. We had a balcony room on the second floor. Very quiet, I thought there would be noise from the activity on the street, none to be heard in room and even on the courtyard below. Very nice in a lively historic area of Naples.

Fantastic boutique hotel in the heart of Napoli! The location could not be beat… easy walk to all the main sights, delicious restaurants (“first” pizzeria is just around the corner) very close by, and no need to take a cab anywhere. The staff is very helpful and available 24 hours a day… we needed to get a taxi called at 4:00 am before our early flight back to the states. Not all of our rooms were available so they held our bags for us. There is a beautiful attached garden with a bar for drinks and included snacks that was a lovely addition. The beds were nice and the quad room was very fun with a second level inside the room. One in our group reserved the terrace room as we were thinking all 8 of us could gather in the evening for happy hour but it was not necessary with the beautiful garden courtyard and the terrace was very hot. Staff was great and we would stay here longer next time! Highly recommended!

Great hotel and good location for historic district and restaurant streets. About a 25 min walk to the ferries if you plan those but otherwise great. Room was clean, large, and perfect for us with 4 people.

The reviews for this place are far too negative. The hotel room was clean, fresh bedding/towels/amenities daily. The air con worked ok on the first night but was clearly checked and sorted as it worked perfectly after that. Yes, it’s a little loud BUT you are in a city centre. The location of this hotel was perfect and everything was in walking distance. The only issue was that the shower needed fixing but it was useable.

There are a lot of things to say about this hotel, all of them are bad, so i'm going to start from de begining, when i made the reservation online. I wanted to book a room from 3 to 7 april, but when i did i got an email saying that the reservation is confirmed for the days 4-7. So i made another reservation for the right dates, thinking i'll cancel the first one and get a refund, but again, the dates were wrong. By the way, this was fully paid for in advance. I contacted the booking agency and they sent multiple emails to ask a cancellation and refund on one of the rooms, but the hotel didn't reply to that email even to this day. So i called the hotel to solve this faster. The first day i talked with them was on 12 march. I spoke with a guy that said he can't do anything about this, and that only the morning shift can solve the problem. So the next day, i called them in the morning, but surprise, the guy didn't speak english, and said to call in the afternoon. So when i called in the afternoon, guess what? It was the guy that said he can't do anything about the issue, and to call in the morning. I kindly asked every time the evening guy to tell the morning one to just reply to that email they recieved, but of course that didn't happen. This went on for about 1 and a half weeks, i called at every time of the day, but either the guy didn't speak english, or he couldn't do anything to fix the problem. After a long week of calls and worries, i was soooo pissed when i talked with the guy that spoke english, that he finally said that he will talk with someone to see what can be done. I said i want to make a reservation directly at them for the night 3 april, to be sure we won't be sleeping on the streets that night :) He said he can do that, but it's going to be 80 euros. For 1 night in the previous reservations i paid 50, just so you can compare the crazy price for the extra night. I agreed and made the booking. So after this whole thing, when i checked in on 3, the guy said that he will ask someone what can be done about the 2 rooms i had for the next day, and to come and ask in the morning. So that's what i did, i went in the morning to ask, but they said that they couldn't do anything about it, and that's it. The room we recieved on the first day was nothing like the photos they had online. It was simple, on the second floor, with only 1 window, and the biggest problem was that it didn't have a balcony, like it had specified in the booking. The window from the room was facing the really small inner courtyard in a square shape, so basically there wasn't any air or light whatsoever. The second day, after the guy said he can't do anything about it, i checked in the other room, at least to use it if i paid for it. But this room was even worse than the first, it was almost like the first, but the bathroom was horrible. There were cigarette burns on the sink, and next to it too, also on the floor. So i went to the front desk in the evening to ask them to change both rooms we had, and to get the ones i paid for, with a balcony. In the evening the guy replied that we will get them in the morning, but the lady from the morning shift said that there weren't any rooms available. I told her to change the rooms again, because of the problems we had in them, but she only changed one of the rooms. So when i got the key for this one, i went up ro check it out, but i couldn't open the door. It had a round doorknob, which wasn't twisting or anything, and the key was a bit unusual. I asked the guy at the desk to help me, and he went up with me and just opened it for me. After 5 mins, i closed it and again, couldn't open it, so i went down to the guy again, and he explained how to open it like i was stupid. I was supposed to unlock it and then turn the key all the way to the right, and after that pull hard on the door, then twist the key more, then push it. Couldn't he just explain all of this before giving me the key to avoid this? Overall, i don't recommend staying here unless you really don't have any other option.

We arrived and were told we had to pay 4 person city tax as we were in a quadruple room even though there were only 3 people, eventually they only charged 3 person tax. The room had patches of plaster on the walls, cracked floor tiles, broken shower head, wires hanging loose and broken light. TV and AC worked which seemed like a bonus. Breakfast is 1 coffee and 1 croissant, a choice of two juices and two cereals. The last two days the foyer smelled of engine oil

They do not honor their cancellation policy! We cancelled the night before, which should give us back our money minus 1 night's stay because we were concerned with all the negative reviews. They did not honor their own cancellation policy and took all of our money instead!!

Stayed a night, for under 12 hours, before traveling on to the Amalfi coast. I suggest getting some popcorn before reading the rest of the review. My wife and I got to the hotel at 11 PM after walking down from the Napoli Centrale train station; no safety issues there. We were greeted by a friendly person at the front desk who gave us our room keys after the routine paperwork. The room was underwhelming but not unexpected for the price paid. My wife saw someone’s t-shirt in the bathroom, but like most of her concerns, I ignored that. That was till I tried loading our bags into the closet, where I was greeted by a red thong and two backpacks. Clearly someone had already been allotted this room. We walked back down with the front desk, with our luggage still in the room, to report what we’d found, and saw an animated woman and accompanied by a man, both involved in a verbal altercation with the front desk person. We did not understand their language what they were saying but it seemed they were being denied entry into the hotel. The front desk person told us in private that the woman was a practitioner of the world’s oldest profession and that he would not let them in, but his eyeballs popped out of their sockets when we told him about our findings- without his knowledge, one of his colleagues had already allotted the ballistic couple a room- the same one that we had been assigned. Following rapid visual communication without a word being uttered, we ran upstairs, grabbed our belongings, and came back to the front desk, where we were given keys to another room. I don’t think the other couple found out what had happened, else we wouldn’t have made it out of that hotel alive. The new room was meant to sleep 4 (and had enough towels for 20), was clean, had an AC that worked. The one downside was the lack of a charging point in the room itself- the only socket we could find was next to the sink in the bathroom. It was otherwise uneventful till the next morning when I tried to reach for the toilet paper- there was none; the only thing within reach was my phone as it was being charged. Thankfully we were carrying wet wipes. Breakfast was included, and the staff were kind enough to extend the hours to accommodate us. Checkout was uneventful, we stored our bags after checkout for a few hours and nothing was amiss.

We've booked for three nights and didn't stay an hour at the hotel. Cigarette burn stains on both night stands and blanket. There was a screw coming out of the floor in the bathroom which was rather dangerous and could have injured us. We were shown another room after complaining which was up to a three star standard, just to be told, that the room is not available for guests. We've then got a written confirmation by the hotel that they don't have any other room available, got refunded the Tourist tax and left the hotel without staying for a single hour.

Room stank of cigarettes, we had to ask for toilet paper as the cleaning team didn't do our room until the day before we left, after asking. Came back to find the floor swimming in water all round the bed and all our bags where wet. Moved to a better room, didn't stink, window wouldn't close and air con set to 17 and would not switch off, it was also noisy. Breakfast is a sugar fest, the pictures show fruit the only fruit on offer is jam and very sweet orange or pineapple squash. The water was cold, not a great start to the day.

This hotel is outstanding! After a very long trip in Europe, having stayed in some nice and not so nice places, this hotel was a PERFECT final resting place before our flight out of Naples. I have found that hotels in the EU that claim to be 5 star hotels, are not always so by American standards. But this one did not disappoint. The artistic touches and quality and thoughtful (and even technological) finishes made for a luxurious stay. And they really won me over with linen hotel slippers and sheets, keeping with the theme of a clean, natural, and luxurious way of life!! The gym was also very well equipped for those who have that interest, and the rooftop bar hosted a live pianist on the night of our stay, adding to a calming and welcoming all around experience. I could go on and on, but I definitely recommend this hotel during your stay in Naples!

We received a very warm and friendly welcome upon arrival, which gave us a positive first impression. Our initial room, however, overlooked an inner courtyard that looked more like a storage area and wasn’t particularly inviting. As Hilton Gold Members, we were a bit surprised by the assignment, but after requesting a change, we were given a more spacious and nicely designed room. Unfortunately, this room faced a busy street and was quite loud at night—especially on the first floor—which significantly affected our sleep. It would have been helpful to be made aware of this in advance. Staff at the front desk seemed a bit disorganized during our stay. We had booked a visit to Pompeii through the hotel, but received incorrect information about the ticketing process, which led to a long trip with no access to the site. While we appreciated the effort of sending a small platter and drinks as an apology, the gesture felt a bit mismatched, as one of us is vegetarian. On the positive side, the rooftop restaurant and bar area offered beautiful views over the city and sea, and the staff there were exceptionally kind and attentive. Breakfast was decent, and the gym was well-equipped and comfortable. The spa area, which can be booked for private use, was a lovely idea—although sadly, the salt grotto was out of service during our visit. The hotel’s location is elevated, and getting to public transport requires walking down quite a long staircase. For most outings, a taxi was the more practical option. The hotel itself is stylish and relatively modern, which we appreciated. However, our accessible room felt a bit improvised in layout, with limited space and a few design flaws in the bathroom. In summary, while there were several pleasant aspects to our stay, the combination of noise, miscommunication, and some overlooked details made it fall short of the five-star standard.

This was an amazing experience!! The front desk staff was probably the nicest I have ever talked to. They were super accommodating! I booked massages here as well which were a little pricey, but let me tell you this was the best massage I have ever gotten in my life. The spa area was okay but the massage made it worth it—ask for Virginia, she is a miracle worker! Also, we went to dinner at Macphersons (rooftop restaurant) and it was absolutely amazing. They had just redone the menu and told us we were the first to have it which was very cool. It was amazing food and service with super reasonable prices for how elegant and Michelin-star the food was, and the view was perfect! I celebrated my engagement here and highly recommend. Will absolutely be back again!!

room itself was very nice and comfortable, and the location of the hotel was excellent — close to everything we wanted to see in Naples. Unfortunately, our experience was spoiled by the behavior of the staff member, Angela’s colleague , who we felt tried to cheat us. When we questioned it, Angela called her manager rather than resolving the issue directly. This left us feeling disappointed and uncomfortable, despite the otherwise pleasant stay.

If you pay for an upgraded ocean view room just be aware that there is a restaurant/event space that also hosts breakfast directly above those rooms and you will hear every chair movement and people walking. The manager said "there are good sides and bad sides to rooms on the 4th floor" as a justification. That would have been great to know before we spent more money on a room for our wedding anniversary as we now get to listen to people stomping above us all day/night. Pool is not really a pool. More like a hot tub and it requires you to reserve and pay extra to use it. Very little to do nearby.

One of the highlights of a recent trip to southern Italy. I had a wonderful experience staying here. From the breathtaking view from my room, to the incredible dishes I enjoyed at the restaurant, the expansive breakfast options, the spa, the staff and their awesome Neapolitan personality. My family had amazing time at this hotel. From the moment we stepped in, we felt warm hospitality and great service . Rooms are so nice and designer set . Beds are so comfortable. Breakfast is great with a beautiful view of the see. Highly recommend this hotel .

Although the hotel is very well located, taxis cannot access it as it is a pedestrian area, so you will have to carry your suitcase 250 m away. It has 2 entrances, none of them practicable for people with mobility problems. The rooms are nothing special. They lack a desk or closet per se and are small It seems very expensive for what it offers (150 euros per night just to sleep, without breakfast). They were not very friendly, f.e. They refused to call a taxi for me, they only offered me to hire a driver service to go to the station for 60 euros when it does not cost more than 15 or 16 euros.

I really enjoyed my stay at Caruso Hotel. The location is absolutely perfect — central, easy to reach, and close to everything you might need. The staff were extremely friendly and professional, always ready to help with a smile. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, and I especially liked the convenience of the keyless entry system with a code – simple and secure. Overall, a great experience. I would definitely return and recommend it to others!

In response to the owner’s comment: we did not leave the hotel with a towel, and we never went to the beach. When we were accused of stealing, we were told house keeping could not locate the towel, which means staff entered our room, did not service or perform any cleaning in the room, but they rummaged around the room determine a towel was “missing.” Despite the positive reviews (which is why we chose this place), we had a bad and intrusive experience. When brought up to management, zero effort was made to rectify the situation. The owner admits to entering the rooms despite signage requesting otherwise. My comment still stands: if you value your privacy and would like to avoid being treated like a common criminal, stay elsewhere. Original review: Large rooms and centrally located but very loud and overpriced. For the duration of the stay, we had the DO NOT DISTURB sign up. When leaving to get dinner one night, the blonde woman at reception rudely accused us of stealing a towel. Their pillows were thin and poor quality, so a rolled up towel was used under their pillows. When explained to reception, the lady looked at us like we were liars (and did not offer additional pillows). The major issue is we had a DO NOT DISTURB sign up. We confirmed our room had not been serviced. Why are they entering our room? Clearly they were going through our items because the room was not cleaned, but they noticed a “missing” towel. Their towels are thin and scratchy. I am not interested in stealing a poor quality towel when I have much nicer at home. I am concerned this hotel is stealing from guests since they are entering rooms without permission. This hotel violated our privacy and our trust. They reached out to inquire about our stay, and when we asked why they entered our room despite having a DO NOT DISTURB sign up, we never received a response. If you value privacy, look elsewhere to stay.

I would never ever recommended any one to book and stay here everything went wrong about this hotel first of all they do not have a proper entrance and you have to walk almost 0.4 miles to get to this hotel as cars and taxis can’t go in. We had to carry out heavy suitcases to get to this hotel then we had to go through this small little door to get inside after 20 minutes of finding some type of way to enter. The service here is HORRIBLE!!! there is barely anyone in front desk to help us the only thing that was OK was the room. There were either big stairs to enter through this small door or side entrance up a hill mind you my parents are 72 and 81 years old no entrance for handcap which was very bad. The day we were leaving the hotel which was today there was no one in front desk for 30 minutes we called rang the front they left there phone in front no one was answering we were so worried the taxi wouldn’t come on time. THIS PLACE IS A HORRIBLE PLACE TO STAY DONT GET TRICKED BY THERE PICTURES ON ANY BOOKING SITE. It was a complete lie. The view is not of that beautiful gallery that they claimed was the view we thought we were in the inside of it. Just horrible will never recommend this anyone.

This hotel was the perfect boutique stay. The rooms were so clean, spacious, and updated. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and the staff even packed us to-go meals when we had to leave early in the morning for the airport. It's located in a very walkable area of town which was nice for sightseeing.

Great central base. Really clean. A little tricky to get in after midnight, but perfect for a weekend away. Although in a bustling centre, amazingly peaceful and restful.

Had a great stay here just don't get locked out on the balcony by another guest like we did. Management did their absolute best to get us back if we hadn't had our phones on us it would have been a nightmare scenario stuck outside on a balcony all night long. Be careful if you go outside on the balcony. Other than that it was a lovely stay and would repeat.

Excellent location for central Naples. Spanish Quarter across the road, and a 5 minute walk to the Galleria. Next to Toledo metro. View of Via Toledo, and no noise from the street. Room was lovely, spacious and very clean. Cold water and coffee in reception which was great. Lift up to the apartments. Good value and I would highly recommend.

It was a great stay, Fabio the host was crazy good and accommodating showing professionalism and friendliness. The rooms were clean,tidy and having everything one needs. Furthermore Fabio was helpful with all our requests and to be honest , some of our requests were outside of his expertise ,but that did not stop him from trying his best. I don't bother usually with reviews ,but this is something I am writing with joy and good memories. Will definitely be back when we visit Napoli again.

If you are planning to stay in this place, think twice. For my years of traveling, I have never regret booking a hotel before I stay there. But this one does. I’m wondering would my stay in this Naples hotel being the worst traveling experience I ever have. I was just sending an email to the hotel staff and asking about the heat wave in Europe. Their final line shocked me: since you have so many enquirers, the best place for your stay in Naples could be other hotels. Wow... if you think it sounds good, then called me old fashioned. Well, I’m not an European, the place I live in doesn’t treat customer in such way or manner. We treat customer / potential with politeness and manner.

I stayed at IstayinToledo in November 2022, and I highly recommend it. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location is great - just minutes walk from the Spanish Quarters. The host Mr Fabio was very kind and helpful. Grazie for the experience.

Atelier Inès Arts & Suites is a beautiful and unique place to stay in Naples. The building is full of artistic details, many created by Inès and her husband, who run a design workshop on-site. We had a really lovely one night stay here, with a coffee in the courtyard on arrival. Hotel nearby to train station. The room was lovely with great amenities, had dinner at a lovely local pizza restaurant, and a delicious breakfast in the courtyard the next morning before a taxi was called to take us to the airport.

We loved staying at Atelier Inès Arts & Suites. Beautiful high ceilings and old architecture, large open courtyards. The room was compact but everything we needed. Window which we left open overnight and functional and pretty bathroom. Nespresso coffee provided and breakfast served at 8am. In busy Naples Atelier is a quiet reprieve. Walking distance to everything you’ll want to check out in central Naples - lots of nice local restaurants within a short stroll.

A little paradise tucked away in the heart of the city. The Sanita neighborhood is a wonderful part of contemporary Naples, it's lived in and well worn, full of folks doing their thing. This hotel is no different, run by two artists, the place is half studio and half live-in gallery. The building itself is also beautiful and the rooms very comfortable. We were very well taken care of (thank you again Ravi!) and felt right at home very quickly. Highly recommend this gem of a place.

Stay here. Don't stay in some overpriced, cookie-cutter hotel amidst the designer shops in Chaia. This art studio is full of life and character. The artists have turned this house into a beautiful, breathing art gallery. Don't be turned off by its small parking area when you first walk in; wait until you pass the green gate. And ask Ravi or Christinella for a tour of the art shop. Breakfast is served on a back patio surrounded by a picturesque garden, high walls with flowers popping out of the brick and an art installation/water feature, and a small fish pond. You will sit at tables under lime trees. Breakfast typically consists of cakes, croissants, eggs, and fruits. They also buy this orange juice from some local shop, which tastes hand squeezed. Absolutely, delicious! There are variations in breakfast, but only little ones. We met 4 staff members. All were lovely. Kind and willing to entertain our questions that I'm sure every tourist asks. If they do not know, they speak with the owner to find the answer for you. I really loved this location because you are surrounding by locals, yet a close walk to the more "touristy" spots. I enjoyed walking out the front gate to a live and thriving street. Neighbors chatting and yelling at one another, a grocery store or two on the corner, vendors selling their wares on the street and locals flying by on their vespas traveling to work. It was a needed break from the usual tourist trap streets selling fridgerator magnets of chili peppers and outside eateries with street canopies selling an "authentic" Italian street corner dining experience. The only negative would be the overpriced wine in the cellar. While you are paying for convenience, go to the corner store instead. We would certainly come back and stay here.

Arrived a little earlier than I had initially advised I would be but was welcomed in, the girl at the desk was very friendly and gave us some great info about the city. Room was lovely and big, loads of space with a great balcony. Agreed a time for breakfast to be brought to the room which was a good start to the day. Only negative is it is a little on the noisy side, however I'm a light sleeper and didn't find during the night much of an issue, the church bells next door start about 8am I think, so only an issue when having a late night! Overall thought it was great, especially for location.

Avoid. Very small, no phone reception, no wifi (hasn't worked for months apparently). Took our money then transferred us to a smaller room a sister location as no rooms available after air conditioning breakdown.

Located in the centre of the city ..the rooms are quite nice but a bit noisy due to the hospital nearby (lots of sirens) but it's no one's fault. The best is the attention by our hostess Ludovica. So friendly and helpful ..nothing was too much for her !! Pointed out places to see during our visit and always with a smile on her face !

Very disappointed with our experience recently at the Grant Orient Hotel. We had two rooms and they were like night and day; one was modern and renovated, the other worn down and quite honestly just gross. Definitely not worth the price tag. Rooms: One room was great, the other room (mine) left much to be desired. Our room had stains on the furniture, cracks in the walls, water damage, tons of noise from the restaurant above. The Hilton Rome Airport was 10x nicer and a quarter of the price. Service: It's a coin toss. Some people are great and were awesome to work with. Others didn't speak English and were generally unhelpful. Once again, for the price, not worth it. Location: The only good thing about this place. Close to the port, close to the Spanish Quarter and Via Toledo, close to the Metro.

The hotel is beautiful and located right in the heart of Naples. The lobby, restaurant, and rooms are stylish and inviting. Our bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and modern with a nice shower. Everything was new and spotless. I appreciated the many power outlets and especially the USB-C ports everywhere — no adapter needed! If all hotels did this, travel would be so much easier. The location is excellent, right in the center and close to the metro. We had an early departure, and the hotel kindly allowed a free late check-out. Check-in was also flexible at 12 pm since we arrived early. The restaurant staff were fantastic — very kind, friendly, and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent with a great variety and top-quality ingredients. The coffee was made individually and tasted amazing, truly authentic Italian style. The restaurant felt surprisingly empty during our stay because the food and atmosphere were so good, plus you get a peaceful escape with a lovely rooftop view of Naples. Although I don’t know their names, a young man with longer hair and two female colleagues were amazing and really made our day better. A couple of things could improve: our room was probably next to the laundry area, so around midnight we heard loud washing machine noises that woke me up. If you’re sensitive to noise, this might be an issue. The fridge was quite noisy too, maybe because the room was otherwise very quiet and well soundproofed. Also, it would be great to have some chairs and a small table on the balcony to relax outside. Overall, a great stay — I’d gladly return if I’m in Naples again!

The hotel is in an amazing location – right on the main street, just a short walk from all the shops and cafés. The building itself is beautiful, comfortable, quiet, and very clean. Breakfast was excellent – not a huge variety, but everything you could possibly need, fresh and tasty. The view over Naples is absolutely stunning. The things we liked a bit less: the pillows were a bit too firm for our taste, and there was some vibration noise from the air conditioner when it turned off (probably coming from another floor or a nearby room). The view from our room faced an inner courtyard with residential buildings that looked a bit neglected. Overall, we definitely recommend this hotel – great value and a perfect base for exploring Naples.

We only spent one night as we prepared to fly out of the Naples airport the day following check in. Was a very nice hotel. The room was large and well-appointed. We especially enjoyed the bar and seating on the top floor. Front desk personnel gladly and easily accommodated our need for English support. Included breakfast exceeded expectations with a wide variety of foods and coffee choices.

The Grand Hotel Oriente is my Naples go-to (digital nomad that spends 5 months/year abroad, so I’ve spent numerous weeks at this hotel over past few years). It’s undergoing a refurb, and I had one of the updated rooms this time. Very stylish, modern, sumptuous - which isn’t always how refreshes land, so good job to the design team. For avoidance of doubt: the refurb is totally discreet/quiet - wouldn’t have known it was going on except I take the stairs to the roof. The roof: excellent for working. Wine (that pairs well with working) up there is very reasonably priced for property of this caliber. Several good sub £24/bottle options. If you’re aware of the typical pitfalls in Italian hotels, here’s the GHO scoop: air conditioning is excellent (10/10), the mattress is phenomenal (10/10), and the pillows are decent (8/10). My only totally trivial quibble which virtually irrelevant: the unique, property-branded room keys are gone, replaced with blank white ones. I had to get my sharpie out to add it the collection. Not a big deal in the least, but missed branding opportunity and out of sync with a hotel that really looks after the small details. (I just note hotel keys since I have 150 of them from the past 4 years, lol) Can’t wait to be back in 3 weeks!

Great location. The staff were friendly and the rooftop restaurant with free breakfast was a highlight. The hotel also partners with a tour company and offers excursion packages available to reserve the day before. We were picked up in front of the hotel and enjoyed a great tour of the Amalfi Coast before being dropped off back in front of the hotel. The hotel did not offer conditioner in the shower.

Disappointing Experience with Cooling System and Refund Policy We booked a room for three adults, but unfortunately, one of us couldn’t make it due to a visa delay. The hotel refused to refund or partially compensate for her absence, which was disappointing. During our entire stay, the cooling system was shut down, and for a 4-star hotel, that was really unacceptable. We had to keep the windows open to a noisy, crowded street, making it very uncomfortable to sleep.lack of body lotion or few small Perks. Also mentioned rooms need to renovation touch up too. On a positive note, the breakfast had an amazing view. However, the menu was limited and repeated daily, though it was clean and the staff was kind and helpful throughout the hotel—from reception to room service and the restaurant all trying to help. I believe that putting guests in hot, stuffy rooms without proper cooling deserves at least a compensatory gesture, as it shows respect for the money guests spend. Despite the great location near many attractions,metro and port the overall experience fell short of expectations for 4 star hotel.

A superb hotel. Relatively recently renovated, and the renovation is great, with the hotel feeling current and contemporary without sacrificing its historic charm. The breakfast is high quality and generous; the bar mixes terrific drinks at sunset. The WiFi is fast and the towels and linens are great. The windows are well insulated so it’s reasonably quiet, which is more than I can say for many luxury hotels in Italy. And the views, of course, are otherworldly! Much better than any hotel I know in my hometown of New York, and much better than any hotel I’ve ever stayed at in Rome.

I had the most wonderful stay at the Grand Parker’s Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the front desk team was warm and welcoming. The breakfast staff went above and beyond each morning, always attentive and kind, which made starting the day such a pleasure. My room was impeccably cleaned and beautifully prepared each evening by the housekeeping team, adding such a thoughtful touch to my stay. Every detail exceeded my expectations, and it truly was the best experience. I will absolutely be coming back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week's stay at Grand Parkers. Breakfast on the terrace looking across the bay with Vesuvius dominating the skyline was such a great way to start each day! The hotel itself is a beautiful building (a wonderful blend of old world charm and modern elements), staff are really friendly and food was delicious - breakfast was enough to set you up for a full day exploring Napoli and the surrounding area! Sipping cocktails at sunset on the terrace definitely a memorable experience! Obviously pricing is aligned with 5* rating, but overall felt it was worth the premium. The location is great for views across the bay, but does mean a walk back up the hill....or a taxi, to save your legs!

What a wonderful stay we had here. Beautiful room, amazing view of mount Vesuvius, Sorrento, Capri and the bay of Naples. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Especially Marco & Vincenzo who helped us book trips to Pompeii, Ercolano and Mt Vesuvius and we always had a good time in their company. The hotel is spotless and beautifully decorated. The breakfast is delicious and the staff are very friendly and attentive in the restaurant. Especially Teresa.

We had a really lovely stay — the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, and all the facilities are excellent. The room was top-notch: clean, comfortable, and very well designed. The overall service and atmosphere were truly at the level of a high-end establishment. The only small downside for us was the food. We’re not sure if it was because we were using a voucher or not, but both at breakfast and dinner, while the quality was good, it just wasn’t exceptional. It felt a bit ordinary compared to the rest of the experience. Given how impressive the hotel, the service, and the surroundings are, we were expecting something a little more special in terms of dining.

Lovely and helpful staff, but no one at the curb to help with luggage, a concierge that starts their service at 11:00, very poor food quality and offering at their standard restaurant. Executive room with sea view booked, but a large room with wasted space offered instead of the sea view. No effort made to remedy any of this.

The hotel’s location is not very convenient, and it really should provide a shuttle service to and from the train station and the ferry terminal. There is an unlicensed taxi stand next to the hotel, and we were overcharged €20 for a short ride to the port. At check-in, the receptionist was extremely enthusiastic with another group of guests, giving them a map and explaining Naples sightseeing routes in detail, while we didn’t even receive a simple map—was it assumed that my English wasn’t good enough? Truly speechless. In addition, the gentleman at the entrance of the breakfast room was consistently unwelcoming—despite seeing us standing right in front of him, he never greeted us or offered any assistance for three mornings in a row. Overall, this left us with a very poor impression.

The hotel was a nice unexpected surprise after a very long travel day. The hotel combines old world charm in the lobby with modern cosmopolitan minimal decor on the rooftop lounge. The service is impeccable. I particularly enjoyed the magnificent breakfast spread that had loads of fresh fruit, an assortment of breads, meats, cheeses and hot foods. The server always remembered how I liked my coffee and room number after the first day. The rooftop solarium has breathtaking views of the bay of Naples with a small plunge pool to refresh from the hot sun. The service there is also excellent and offers snacks and drinks. In the evening it transforms to a vibey rooftop bar where you can catch the best sunset in town. I did not go to the restaurant but heard it’s also good. This will be my go to place if ever in Napoli again.

The hotel is beautiful and the location is excellent, but what made our time there most enjoyable was the kind and professional staff - on all levels. Staff and accommodations were excellent. The rooftop bar for the sunset is a must. Due to the Napoli Marathon, all the roads within a mile of the hotel were closed when we arrived. We ended up having to take the tube and then walk a mile carrying our luggage. I wish the hotel had offered some help, but maybe there was nothing they could do. When we arrived they were very gracious and even let us check in to our room at 9:45 (regular check in was 15:00). That changed the complexion of our entire experience! Thank you! 6th floor rooms don't have a balcony, so if that's important to you, take note. We were so grateful to get in so early, we didn't care.

This hotel saw better times.Walls and cupboards look tired,slightly worn off. Most of it's rooms have scenic magnificent seaview,not mine... Soft mattress was a challenge for my back. Didn't like the scent of the washing soap and body lotion either. TV channels are mostly Italean with Al Jazeera and BBC in english.That says it all. I prefer GB news (and 36% of UK citizens) BBC ratings are at historic low. Generally: stable 4 stars,mostly because of the very friendly staff.Michelin restaurant at the 9th floor did not impress me much. Seaviews are magnificent.

The hotel was good value but one afternoon when we returned to our room we found the door wide open. The cleaning ladies forgot to close it. Fortunately nothing was missing.

We stayed here twice in September of 2025, a night before and after Ischia. Definitely recommend. The location was perfect to see Naples from above in a relaxing environment. We toured the city before our stay so did not go down. We had lunch next to the pool and enjoyed the pool each day followed by dinner each night, both with relaxing music. The dinner service was attentive including, without our asking, the staff put two tables together so everyone in our party of four had a wonderful view. The dinner food & wine were very good (cocktails were 50/50.) Both mornings, breakfast food was fine and not a deal breaker, service was pleasant when you could find the one person working out front, not a deal breaker for the rest of the total package. The AC was a bit challenging; we may have benefited from instruction if we had asked. We like it cool and it was right on the edge of acceptable. I woke up more times than I would like in the middle of the night. Sheets were fine but a better quality could have added to the coolness. (The common areas (check in and hallways) did not feel like they were cooled but we did not find that to be an issue). Still I would stay here again. Do take the time to tour the hotel’s historical rooms, so interesting. We have just spent three days at the hotel, and it is simply outstanding! The rooms, recently renovated, are comfortable and clean. It felt like sleeping in a museum rich in history. The staff is truly very kind, always available, and ready to accommodate every request with courtesy. The view from the property is breathtaking, a true spectacle that makes every moment special. Breakfast was delicious, and we were delighted to be served real coffee, not from vending machines! The restaurant offers excellent dishes for dinner, accompanied by an incredible panorama. The location is simply strategic, and the garage is very convenient, with a valet service that adds great practicality, making every transfer hassle-free. Unfortunately, Uber does not operate in this city, but the hotel is always happy to arrange taxis whenever needed.

This is a decent hotel which seems to have undergone a massive increase in business recently, and they are not staffed to handle it. The best part of this hotel is that the rooms have an amazing view of the entire city of Naples ans Mount Vesuvius. There is a pool bar and sitting area on the seventh floor with an additional elevated viewing platform for amazing panoramic views of the city and the coast. Rooms are decent and historical, the beds comfortable, bathrooms reasonable, however each shower is differently operated, and may lead to some leakage. Food and beverages are pricey as would be typical with this type of hotel. Service seems to be extremely Italian in nature, that is there are all sorts of procedures and rules however they don't seem to mean anything. Staff do not bend over backwards to accommodate guests needs, however we'll do what is necessary. The cleaning staff is lovely when you get a moment to talk to them even if they speak little English. This is of course Italy, their home not mine. If you choose this place, make sure not to use the main entrance but rather the one that's just up the road, as it has a ramp for your luggage. The main entrance has several steps and nobody seems to notice this. The area is very hard to navigate it is hilly and even our driver had trouble with it. Notice that on the map it looks like you can get to the Spanish quarter easily, however this requires going down many stairs or hilly streets, and your legs will not forget it. We traveled with a small group, and rooms were not ready on time. We have addressed this with management, and I will edit this review if a proper response is made. This is a truly beautiful property with a great history. I certainly hope that the staff and management can up their game and make the entire experience better in the future.

Attended this venue for a friend’s wedding and it was fantastic. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the panoramic view from the terrace was simply breathtaking—you can see all of Naples! A truly memorable experience. I would definitely recommend this place for any special occasion.

I am very disappointed by the experience I had at this hotel, especially considering that it happened on one of the most important days of my life — my wedding day. We personally called the hotel to ask if it would be possible to have my bridal preparation team and 2–3 close family members (including my mother) with me in the room on the morning of my wedding. During this call, I was asked if the wedding would take place at the hotel, and I clearly mentioned that it would be at another location. I was assured that this would not be a problem and that it would be fine to have them there for a few hours. However, on the actual day, when I went to the reception to confirm again, I was abruptly told that it was not allowed. What made the situation worse was not just the refusal, but the tone and attitude of the lady in charge. While I was trying to explain calmly that this had been confirmed in advance and that I now needed a quick solution, she was repeatedly saying “no” in a rude and dismissive manner, instead of trying to help or show understanding. This created unnecessary stress and anxiety on a day that should have been joyful. If I had been told from the beginning that it wasn’t allowed, I would have simply booked somewhere else and planned accordingly. Instead, I was put in a very difficult position at the last minute. Furthermore, as the discussion escalated, she suddenly mentioned that if more people entered the room, she would charge €100 per person — just for being present for 3–4 hours during the preparations - not to mention other rude comments. In the end, my husband had to call and speak to them in Italian (as I only speak English). To him, they said it was a misunderstanding and that a maximum of three people were allowed in the room at the same time (which they never said to me). Because of this, part of my preparation had to be done in the hallway, and part in the room, which was far from the calm and joyful atmosphere I had envisioned. This experience was extremely disappointing and unnecessarily stressful. I truly hope the hotel will improve their communication and approach in the future, so that other brides or guests will not have to go through the same experience.

During my years of traveling, I have encountered many hotel front desk staff, but the team here was among the least welcoming I have ever experienced. Additionally, our room door was left ajar all day after housekeeping had cleaned it. I mentioned this to the front desk as a point of information, not as a complaint, yet the staff member responded in a confrontational manner.Furthermore, there was no internet access in our room, and when I brought this to the attention of the front desk, they assured me it was functioning properly, despite being aware that the router was too far from our room. On a positive note, the rooftop garden offered a stunning panoramic view of the city. Unfortunately, the breakfast received a rating of 2 out of 10, while dinner was just average. Overall, I would classify this as a 3-star hotel at best. There are certainly better options available at this price point.

I booked this on the spot, I saw there were rooms available online but rather than use a third party site we just showed up without a reservation and they were SO kind, and gave us a great room with a sea view for a very reasonable price. The roof terrace and pool are so beautiful! The hotel itself is charming and historic. A total gem I’m so happy I stumbled upon! I will stay here every time I come to Naples now.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Our room was beautiful. Not much of the staff speaks English so just be aware. I gave a 4 star because I highly suggest you DO NOT book transportation to the airport from this hotel. The website said complimentary but it’s not complimentary (free). They charged 120 euros for a 12 minute drive. We were told the drive was 30 minutes (which is still a lot and we should have checked it ourselves).

We stayed at Santa Lucia for three nights before our cruise. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed and the bellman stored our luggage until our room was ready. When we entered our room we were extremely pleased. It was a large room, with a balcony that had a view of the ocean. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept like newborns. The bathroom was large and every part of the room was clean. Breakfast was included and the staff there were very attentive. The location right on the water couldn’t be better. There is a long promenade that you can walk. Lots of great restaurants nearby. We loved our stay here and would recommend it without hesitation!

The hotel is perfectly positioned along the Bay of Naples. The first impression at the entrance is its elegance and warm, attentive staff. Our room overlooking the Bay was spacious and comfortable. We also enjoyed having a balcony to get fresh air and a closer look of the view.

When we booked this trip, 9 months ago, we asked for a balcony room, even asking about smoking cigars on the balcony. We arrived this week to the front desk clerk fighting with some ladies in the desk office. After the fighting stopped he came out to help us. We were then assigned a room that looked at the center of the hotel. It was dark and very depressing. I went down to ask for a balcony, so I could enjoy cigars, drink wine and see the view. We were upgraded for 250 Euros (around CAD$400 extra for one night) Arriving at this room we found that the balcony was about 12" deep. I ended up sitting on the ground, just outside the door, crammed on the balcony. We stayed in three hotels in our 10 days in Italy, this was the only one that not only disappointed us, but greatly disappointed us. In addition, we asked the gentleman to please order a taxi to pick us up the next morning at 6:30am, as we had to make a flight. He told us to go to our room and come back after 6:00pm/7:00pm to make the request. I'm guessing that this is because that's when the next shift came on. We stay in 4 & 5 star hotels all of the time. Requests, such as this, are simple and always handled immediately (anywhere else they would have offered to leave a note for the next shift) My one big compliment was to the nice man who helped us with our bags and showed us to our room. He was so pleasant and smiled the whole time.

I have had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Santa Lucia. The location is excellent, right by the waterfront, with beautiful views and easy access to many of Naples’ main attractions. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, which made the experience even better. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was elegant and relaxed. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a well-located and comfortable place to stay in Naples.

Great hotel. Rooms were nice, and the front desk team was very accommodating. The challenge for us was the restaurant. We ate lunch there two consecutive days, and the service was beyond spotty, unless you were the hotel Boss. When he came in, the entire staff stopped attending to us, taking care of his every request, while we sat and waited for our food, drinks, and menus. It could be customary, but in the US, the patron is king, not the Boss, who was brusque and loud. Both times we were the only ones in the restaurant besides the Boss, and he never acknowledged us, but the staff were hopping and stepping for him—great rooms, location, and wonderfully decorated. I left wondering what our stay would have been like had we been the Boss?

We were celebrating our 40th anniversary and were there for 2 nights last week. The hotel is sleek and modern with a very classy design. The room had a very cool design with a glass enclosed shower and bathroom. We had a huge window overlooking the port and Bay of Naples. The pool area on the 10th floor is amazing with an infinity edge overlooking the bay plus loungers, sun umbrellas and a bar with light snacks. The breakfast in the fine dining restaurant was perfect with more large windows, stunning views, excellent food and a very professional staff. On our anniversary day we relaxed by the pool for awhile in the afternoon. When we got to our room the staff had sent us a bottle of champagne in a bucket of ice with a handwritten note of congratulations! It was a nice surprise and really made us feel special. All in all, it was a great experience. Thank you!

This is a beautiful hotel right across from the cruise terminal and ferry terminal in Naples. 5 star hotel with outstanding spa, rooms, comfort and infinity pool. The room was modern and so comfortable! Also, the mini bar and all of its content were complimentary, including the beer, liquor and snacks. We were also greeted with a bottle of sparkling wine and luxury desserts that were a cherry on top. The only downside to our stay here was that we only had one night. Great spot!!

The location is excellent, within walking distance to the port, attractions, and many restaurants. The area feels safe, which is a definite plus. However, the hotel design is quite dysfunctional. The rooms are cluttered with unnecessary features, the water pressure is weak, and the TV and internet connections don’t work properly. On top of that, the electronics and lighting system are unnecessarily complicated, making simple things like turning on a light frustrating. The rooftop view is beautiful, but the restaurant at the top is underwhelming. Breakfast was very good, and the staff was friendly, which helped improve the overall experience. One unpleasant surprise was a €40 “discretionary tipping service” added to our bill. It felt excessive for a single night, though it was removed when we asked. For the high price, the hotel doesn’t meet expectations. In North America, it would be comparable to a basic Holiday Inn — just with a better view. Aside from the location and view, everything else was mediocre and overpriced. ⭐ Rating: 3/5

Our stay at Hotel Romeo in Naples was absolutely disappointing. The photos on the website are misleading — the room we received looked completely different in reality. The hotel has extremely illogical and non-transparent pricing policies. Rates fluctuate strangely depending on the day of the week and occupancy, without any prior notice or explanation. The staff was unprofessional and constantly made mistakes with our orders. Nothing was understood the first time — we had to repeat everything at least twice. The restaurant staff consistently got at least one item wrong with every order. Hygiene was below any acceptable standard. The room was dusty, toiletries were not replenished, and towels were not replaced regularly. You expect a much higher level of service from a hotel in this category. What was especially concerning is that they lost the copies of our IDs, which they themselves had taken upon check-in — a serious breach of data privacy. On departure, we requested a car with a large trunk due to our heavy luggage, but they sent a small vehicle that barely fit our bags. Overall, our stay was stressful and unpleasant. The hotel does not live up to its high rating and pricing. We would not return and do not recommend it.

A wonderful and stunning hotel. Very tastefully designed, beautiful facilities and overall great service. A big surprise was the insanely good gym (very impressive equipment - best hotel gym I have ever seen by far) and the spa which was a mindblowing experience. Super impressed!

We had a fantastic stay at the Romeo, for one night, on our way from Napoli to Praiano (via Positano). It was booked on Hilton HHonors points, and I'm more than happy with the value for bed-and-breakfast. It's a great location if getting a ferry - only about a 5 minute walk. It's also a good location for exploring Napoli. The rooms are very modern - some reviews make that a negative, but we thought the tech and the design were outstanding, including the room layout. The top-floor pool was also great, and the bar-service while we had a few hours there was excellent. Breakfast was outstanding, one of the best hotel breakfasts we've had in a while.

This hotel is major click bait for the price. The rooms try to be fancy but ends up tacky, it feels run down but its not, i think its the quality of materials used. For almost 1000 euros a night, You will not get what you pay. Unless you want the convenience of being across the port. Still overpriced, wouldn’t stay here with the same price point. Dont get me wrong its good but not worth over paying

Worst hotel ever. You can hear everything from the room next to you. They are not making loud noise, just having a normal conversation and you can hear everything. We asked to change rooms but the guy at the front desk said it was fully booked which seems very unlikely.

Hotel is in need of renovation, Wi-Fi doesn’t work in rooms, breakfast is poor (bad coffee, limited options if you don’t eat eggs). Staff is pleasant, though.

It is a decent hotel. Solid 3 star. Definitely not a 4 star as some sites advertise. Front desk clerk during the day seemed like he didn't want to be bothered but they stored our bags until check in. Wifi does not work on 6th floor. Room is bare bones but in good shape. Shower did not have shower curtain or glass so water getting every where was a bit of an issue. One bottle of soap is meant to serve as body soap, shampoo and conditioner so make sure to bring your own.

I wouldn’t call this a 4 star hotel. If anything, it’s about 2.5 to 3 star hotel. I’ve had much better 3 star hotel than this one. The hotel is very run down, staffs are not friendly. There is NO WIFI in the room so i couldn’t work in the room. I don’t think their wifi extender worked, i had to go to the lobby to access the internet. The wallpapers are all peeled off. There’s 1 bottle of soap (to be used to shampoo, conditioner and body wash). Cleaners forgot to supple towels after taking away ours. Hair dryer didn’t work. So many issues

But, on the other hand, there are no USB ports in the room. On the whole, Hotel Naples delivers a solid experience with a few areas for improvement.

I really don’t understand the bad comments. Our room was perfectly clean and comfortable. The location is good. The breakfast was a nice and enough buffet with sea view. Receptionists are kind and helpful. They also accepted our cat.

As much as the service and the location was nice, the rooms were very unexpected being that it was hot and uncomfortable being that in one night I found 14 mosquitoes and maybe more. Having a mosquito infestation is a health hazard affecting my health and maybe others. Being a 4 star hotel is overrating the hotel. In a nutshell, I give it 2 stars because the room had a nice bed, and good bathroom but a broken AC and a mosquito infestation.

Breakfast was very nice. Location is perfect if you want central Naples. Keep in mind that it is a busy center and noisy. That said, this hotel is in a slightly more quiet area with less cars and more people.

This hotel is perfectly situated in the historic centre of Naples. The rooms are very comfortable and whilst there is no tea and coffee facility in the rooms as standard the staff are more than happy to give you a kettle and all necessary ingredients. The breakfast buffet is very varied and plentiful and Mariano and Carlo are great, friendly hosts. The location is easily accessible by taxi from the airport and walking round Naples from the hotel is easy. Watch out for scooters and don’t be put off by the graffiti which is everywhere and bizarrely is part of Naples charm. Ragu restaurant further up the same road as the hotel is excellent

Rooms are unattractive and small. Hotel advertised with bar area which so far has been closed both evenings we have been here and when appears to be open is a piano with a couple of spirit bottles on top in the breakfast area. No atmosphere, book else where. Hotel service is basic and reception is unwelcoming.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE! To start with the area around the hotel is filthy. Graffiti everywhere , overflowing garbage, animal feces and abandoned buildings. Unlike the pictures they portray on their website. Some cabs won’t journey to the hotel entrance given the location . The reception / check in desk is protected by plexiglass. At some level that should tell you all you need to know. Our “ deluxe” room was a loft. Had to carry bags up 14 narrow stairs to get to the bed and bath. Bed and linens are ancient . The receptionist could have cared less about our experience. He acted put-out to simply check us in. When I asked for a map of the local area he gave me a brochure with tour ads instead of. The bartender was late to show and apparently no-showed the day before ( according to two guests). The hotel seemed eerily empty . We had an early flight so they made us a “ breakfast box”. Stale crackers , juice and water. This place advertises as a 4 star hotel. It doesn’t deserve 2 stars . Stay away.

Rooms are very nice,but the beds are like sleeping on a cardboard box(ironing board). Very,very uncomfortable. Staff is amazing. Breakfast is not that great either. Only meat is pork.

The photos on booking sites don't show how the real rooms are. It's much too expensive for what it is. The picture is deluxe room. EUR 180 a night. No coffee maker or water cattle. Definitely not worth it unless you have no other option. Find better accommodation if you can.

Had a great stay for one night here. Booked last minute during peak tourist season and was still perfectly satisfied. Probably one of the last rooms available, my wife and I still had a great night sleep given the cozy room facing the courtyard. Assuming this was their room with the lowest priority, they have set a good standard here and would be happy to stay again and book earlier next time. Modest yet fulfilling breakfast was also enjoyable. Highly recommended for a comfortable stay in Naples.

We stayed at this stunning hotel in the center of everything. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. It is beautiful from before you walk in all the way into your bathroom. The rooms are decorated impeccably. The windows had electronic shave so all we have to do is push a button the beds were comfortable. The sheets were pristine in the bathroom. You have plenty of space and a large wonderful shower. Even the toiletries were high-end the staff provided the highest level of customer service I wanna make a special shout out to Claudia, who went above and beyond The call of duty to make our stay even more wonderful. The restaurant recommendations were stellar directions calling taxis for us getting water bottles whatever we needed we received with a smile and the breakfast buffet. I have never seen such a spread not only was the food delicious, but it was so varied from the eggs to the cheeses through the different types of bread for toasting to the pastries. I really don’t even have words for how good the coffee is there. The breakfast buffet was just a celebration and we were giddy by how much wonderful food that was if you’re coming to Naples this is the hotel for the Very reasonable price It’s like staying at the ritz

We stayed at this beautiful hotel for a week in October 25. The Hotel's situation in the Chiaia area is perfect for access to the Lungomare,excellent resturants shopping etc. The atmosphere of the area is busy enough to be interesting but not frenetic like some others . The area is walkable and is residential . I'm a wheelchair user and the Hotel is very suitable. Our bedroom had a very well adapted Bathroom plus a second Bathroom . Each staff member we met were very helpful ,friendly and knowledgeable. The Hotel is beautifully maintained and furnished and Housekeeping standards are excellent. Breakfasts offer many choices and high quality produce. Coffees are made to order and thus freshly prepared. We used taxis to visit Galleries etc and they were reasonably priced ( metered )and reliable. Most Central areas cost between 7 to 10 Euros from the very nearby Plazza Matriti . We highly recommend this Hotel and hope to return. Thanks to everyone who looked after us

We just stayed 2 nights in Naples and were thrilled with our choice. The hotel has everything you would need and its decor is classic. The beds were large and firm, bathrooms were large ( we finally had counter space during our visit to Italy), and the rooms overall were updated. We had issues with our ac because we tend to sleep in really cold conditions, however we were able to sleep comfortably. Also the room walls seemed thick because it was very quiet during our stay. We had done our research and this location was highly recommended and with good reason. The hotel is blocks from the water where people stroll down the boardwalk. There are so many restaurants, bars and high end shops, it gives a different feel than the other areas in the city. Very safe to walk around during the day and night, the restaurants we ate at in the area were delicious (especially Humberto’s) with great customer service. Also want to mention that the hotel staff, from the front desk to those cleaning the rooms were very helpful and accommodating. We appreciated the complimentary breakfast to start our day. They had a good variety of food. Highly recommend staying here if coming to Naples.

My aunt and I booked this hotel through a travel agent. We were ending a three week cruise and wanted to spend some more time in Naples. We did not know much about the area or what we were going to do while we were there. Once we arrived, we knew it was the perfect decision. The rooms are spacious, clean and very well maintained. The hotel is small and quiet. There is a small bar in the lobby that’s opened in the evening. It is really more for convenience. It has about six barstools and three tables. The front desk personnel were all very knowledgeable and helpful with anything you needed. The breakfast in the morning was wonderful. The staff in the mornings were very accommodating and immediately took care of you as soon as you came in and sat down. It is a great buffet that you could eat almost anything that you can imagine. I am planning to return to Naples and I certainly will make sure this is where I stay. It is centrally located to be able to walk to the waterfront to shopping and to a lot of historical points.

A lovely small hotel in a very busy, crowded Spanish Quarter. An ideal location just off Via Toledo. We walked from the Sardinia ferry dock to the hotel in about fifteen minutes. As soon as you go through the door you enter an oasis of quiet and calm! We stayed for five nights in a top floor room with a private roof garden. This has soft seats, an umbrella, small table and chair, with a large variable sun blind over the room door. A nice place to relax before going out in the evening. The room is large with a comfortable bed and a good efficient bathroom. There is lift access from the ground floor. Breakfast is varied and tasty with good coffee. All staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is good value for money and we recommend it for a visit to Naples.

Excellent hotel! The location is very central, yet surprisingly quiet. In the morning there was a church bell nearby, but overall the hotel feels small and very peaceful. We received wonderful service – the staff was friendly and always happy to help with anything we needed. The room was clean, tidy, spacious, and beautiful. Breakfast was good – not a huge variety, but still plenty of options so everyone can find something they like. On top of that, the option of free hot drinks throughout the day was a very nice touch.

What a great oasis in the middle of the Spanish Quarter! We arrived in the evening after a very chaotic taxi ride (per usual in Italy!) and entered a calm, quiet lobby. Everyone we encountered at the front desk was friendly and professional. The breakfast was great - lots of options - eggs, deli meat and cheeses, pastries, yogurt, fruit, juice, cereals, bread - everything you could want. And caffe, of course! Our room was on the top floor and had a little outside sitting area - perfect for unwinding in the evening or enjoying coffee in the morning to prepare for the day. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom and shower were also quite nice! If you want to stay in the Spanish Quarter, I highly recommend Hotel Il Convento!

We loved the space the family room with loft offered. Besides the teens having their own beds there was just more room for suitcases, clothes,etc. in the room and bathroom. The location was near lots of excellent looking restaurants and pizzerias (we couldn't eat at them all), shopping and a metro stop. Staff was wonderful. They helped us find a laundromat and an out of the way town we were visiting. We also left earpods in the room and a drink in the fridge at check out. When we returned for our luggage later they had both of them for us without having to ask.

We all loved our stay here- wonderful welcome, lots of help with everything, rooms that have everything you need but are nicely old-school and plain, with balconies and terraces, almost like a pensione..all in a wonderful area of Naples.Lots of great restaurants/bars/churches nearby and you're bang in the heart of a proper (but safe) Neapolitan community. Hard recommend and I'm FUSSY. Also breakfast was fabulous.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights. It is located in the heart of Naples with many good pizza restaurants around. The breakfast was ok and the staff were kind. If you are more than 180cm tall, you may find its bed too short. Also, when taking shower, the bath water was being leaked to the bathroom floor and to the room after! I had to use towels to avoid it.

The day before my arrival (after the cancellation deadline had passed) the property owner (Francesco) contacted me to say they could not accommodate my request for a late check-in. The request was made at the reservation time, ie a month head. But it didn’t stop there: he informed me that this meant I could not stay at all, and that I would not be refunded for any of the nights I had booked. As other negative reviews show, this seems to be a recurring tactic used by the owner. Also, the reviews show they would do the same if you arrive late. Be warned. There are lots of nice properties in Naples, no reason to risk here.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Bellorizzonte. If you are looking for a great location in the heart of the city then this place is all you need. Service is excellent. I never had a host check on his guest as much as Francesco did. He always made sure that we didn't need anything. He answered all our questions and gave us countless recommendations. I will start by saying that the overall hotel is pretty nice. It was very clean and the staff was a accommodating . The breakfast each morning nice and the rooftop patio very nice. Also the remote controlled sunroof windows were awesome and the bathroom amazing. The only thing I did not like is the elevator that leads up to the reception area on the third floor was very cramped small and not ventilated properly. It is very rickety in my opinion and once you come out on to the third floor you have about a two foot wide walkway overlooking a three story drop with thin railing, which was very intimidating, other than that it’s a pretty decent little hotel.

What stands out most is their staff not withstanding their great location (really close to the centre of everything) and the cleanliness of the room. From the moment I booked the room to the moment when I arrived at the airport and until I checked out, they have made me feel comfortable, safe and really want to come back again. Thank you for everything.

You couldn't stay more centrally in Naples! Lovely rooms, all located on the third floor. Excellent breakfast, with breakfast on the rooftop terrace being the absolute highlight! The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, without being intrusive.

They love to tell you "no" to all your questions at this hotel. Do you ever enter a situation in which the person you are dealing with is just tired of their job, hates the customers before they even engage with them, and just don't want to deal with you? This is the staff at this hotel. Can I get coffee? "No! - you will have to wait." Our Air conditioner in our room doesn't work, is there anything we can do? "No! - you will have to just be patient." They love to say no!!

Fab location, great facilties and staff. Not the cheapest but certainly worth it. We stayed Thursday to Sunday. Lovely coffee and breakfast..

Breakfast was not great, service was tired definitely not value for money. For a 4stars hotel there was no black out curtain which is disappointing. The bedsheets and the bathrobe also has a funny smell which is not great.

I simply cannot say enough about this hotel experience. The hotel itself is exquisite and charming. The location is perfect. The staff, all of the staff, from the front desk to the housekeeping to the breakfast, are superb. I recommend the breakfast which includes yogurts and pastries, and fresh, prepared eggs and espresso drinks and fresh squeezed juices in a lovely dining room. This would definitely be a location we return to and are so grateful for how well we were taken care of, especially because we were traveling as a family of six, in two different rooms, and when one member of the family became sick, the staff were so attentive. Fantastic hotel with great service. I had arrived after not sleeping for a few days, and the staff did everything to help me have a comfortable stay. They upgraded my room for no charge, and they also brought me juice and snacks, as I was clearly tired and dehydrated. They treated me, a complete stranger, like a family member. Thank you to Michele and Natalya for being so kind! The large suite feels like staying in a Palazzo. The bed was so comfortable I was able to sleep for the first time in 72 hours, and the room was spotlessly clean. I can’t wait to return to Naples—I will certainly choose to stay here again.

Wow! Santa Chiara Boutique Hotel is truly one of the most unique and memorable boutique hotels I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in. Nestled in the heart of Naples’ historic center, this hotel blends centuries of history with modern comfort and style. The preserved ceilings from the 16th century are absolutely breathtaking—staying in a room with such rich architectural detail felt like living inside a piece of history. The high ceilings and beautifully curated decor gave the space an airy elegance, while still maintaining an intimate, boutique charm. What truly set the experience apart, though, was the staff. The level of one-on-one attention was exceptional. Every member of the team was warm, attentive, and impressively knowledgeable—not just about the hotel, but about Naples itself. Their personalized recommendations added so much value to our stay. Santa Chiara is more than a hotel—it’s an experience that combines history, hospitality, and refined design in a way that’s rare to find. I wouldn’t hesitate to return and recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone visiting Naples

The hotel itself was nice enough, I appreciated there was a lift and it was a good location to what we needed. I also enjoyed the staff who cleaned the room. The street is small, so a taxi won’t come down, you’ll have to walk a few minutes. I’m sure this is normal though. My issue, however, was with the room. I poured over reviews and websites and after months of research selected this hotel and very specific room that had two separate beds. When I arrived I was told we were “upgraded” and there was now 1 bed and 1 sofa bed (far less comfortable or convenient). When I pressed why this was changed without my knowledge or communication, it was told they couldn’t imagine that we were two friends, and were sure we were a couple. We weren’t. And I would have preferred the room that I personally selected. I’d suggest they refrain from this in the future, it was also awkward to explain to a hotel that we were just friends and not a romantic couple.

We stayed one night here and have mixed reactions. First the good: The rooms were large and very well appointed with some cool historic details. The bed was super comfortable, the air conditioning worked great, and the WiFi was strong and fast. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful; they ordered a cab for us in the morning and helped me locate an ATM. They carried our luggage into our room, and just were generally nice. The bad: The entrance to the hotel is on a pedestrian street, and our taxi driver who brought us from the airport wouldn’t drive to the hotel entrance. This meant we (not quite elderly by getting there) had to roll three suitcases about 100 yards over rough cobblestone streets. [sidenote: When we left this morning, the taxi called by the hotel WAS able to drive to the entrance because it was early enough not to interfere with pedestrian traffic] The other big downside is that there is absolutely no sign for the hotel on the street. Google maps showed where the building was, but entering through some big graffiti-ed doors (open until 6:30 pm, when they close for the evening) and walking into the courtyard, there’s no visible sign that the hotel is even in there. My partner has bad knees and we initially missed the hotel completely so after backtracking a couple of times, I left him with our luggage on the street while I tried to locate the hotel. Frustrated, I asked a couple of shopkeepers near where it was supposed to be and neither of them had a clue where it was. Turns out the entrance was right across the street! I entered the courtyard where the hotel was supposed to be and this time walked all the way in, near where the elevator shaft was. There I saw a tiny brass sign with the hotel’s name on it. I went out again to collect my partner and our luggage, and by the time we got back to the entrance the doors were in the process of closing. I’m not sure what we would’ve done if they had closed completely, as the only way to open them again was with a code you have to get from the hotel reception. It was hot, we were tired and crabby by the time we got upstairs. Not a great start. I’ve posted a video of the walk to the hotel and it gives an idea of the doorway to look for. We didn’t need to enter a code because the front door staff was watching for us through video cameras. My advice if you’re going to get there after 6:30 pm is to call and get the door code in advance!

Loved the central location of this hotel located on the 3rd floor of a residential condo building. Locked with a gate and secure, kind service, large room for a family. It was wonderful and we loved Napoli. Thank you!

What an incredible hotel. Love the location, love the room, love the history, love the staff. Nothing was too much for them, and they kept everything immaculate. You can just tell they really care.

We stayed 1 + 1 night, so 2 different rooms. We enjoyed our stay, check in was simple, good locations, breakfast included. Nothing beats this price. Everything in the room was functioning, some compromises could be found but it works. It is not quite hotel at night, but there is AC. Recommend this for few or 1 night stay.

The room was basic, bed was ok. Clean towels and some douche products. The showercabine was old and therefore looked dirty. The bathroom itself smelted bad.

It was more than good. Rooms are clean, breakfast is in the bar downstairs and it is a croissant and coffee. Wifi is really bad.. If you are with a car, you can park it for free behind the building and that is the information that host doesn’t tell. The neighborhood is pretty loud and dirty, but it is not unsafe.

We had a 15 day trip around Italy and stayed in 12 hotels. I can not forget that we stayed in two 4-star hotels (Salerno Bologna) with full service and rich breakfast with 50 euros per night. I can not fail to mention the best accommodation in Siena, a villa full of works of art, decorated to the last corner , with amazing antique bed and the best mattress of all the accommodation we stayed , with a rich breakfast prepared by the owner with a lot of love with great music and candles on the table , with 57 euros per night. All options at the 12 hotels included a private room, a private bathroom, breakfast, a central point and a parking space. My review of luxury  will take into account the facilities of the 12 hotels as well as the facilities I had of the three best I mentioned above. It would be disrespectful if I gave a rating better than the three best accommodations  that won my heart. This accommodation could be luxury as its name suggests. It has undergone a major renovation that makes it accessible. The bad thing is the bed. We had requested a double bed which consisted of 2 singles. The beds were completely unstable with a bad mattress. During the night I woke up twice to reunite them into one. Another minus is breakfast. This accommodation is arranged with the two cafe shops located on the ground floor and there serves a medium quality croissant and a coffee. The first meeting made the worst impression on me. The owner did not show up, she informed me that the partner   lives in the same building. We have done many kilometers all day, we are tired, it has started to rain lightly. The GPS has brought me out of the accommodation 20m. from the main entrance. I have double parked next to the bus stop. I inform the partner who is bored to take his head out of the main door and see me the only double parked on the main road. Instead he asks me to inform him at which bus stop I am and on which road. It was my first visit to Naples and I did not know anything about everything he asked for. While we were terribly tired from the trip he   forced me to get out  of my  car in the rain to find the name of the road and the name of the bus stop. When I told him where I was,  he told me to go find the number 298 where the accommodation was and call him again. I did not know where the exact numbers of the houses were and not all the houses had numbers, but I managed to find it 20m away from where I had originally parked. When you do this job you are not just offering a room for sleeping. You offer hospitality. I did not feel hospitality but discomfort as I spent 30 minutes talking on the phone and searching in the rain,   for  the accommodation which was 20m. away from where I am waiting .If he  had been interested ,  for  me , he  would have gone out to  the  main  entrance ,  he would have seen me , and we would have gone up to the room half an hour earlier to rest.   The owner's relationship with the guests is: "take the keys and do not disturb me I do not want to know you"                             There is cleanliness throughout the room and in the bathroom. The bathroom is comfortable with everything a guest needs The parking lot is 200 meters away. away from the property and costs 15 euros If the accommodation did not have a cheap price I would put a lower rating

Clean room and everything was there as advertised except for the beds. It was said on Agoda that there would be a queen bed and two sofa beds for the quadruple room but in reality there were two queen beds only, which made it difficult for us to arrange ourselves. The breakfast included was just coffee and a croissant. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Wonderful big and fancy room, very clean, towel change daily, nice street view. The only issue was with wifi, very very poor signal.

We had a wonderful stay at this B&B. The breakfast was enjoyable, and the bed was comfortable, though the pillows could use a bit more care. The location is convenient, being close to the station. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay it was fantastic to meet our in-laws who came to meet us from all the way from Turin and explore the beautiful city of Napoli. The people in the South have a more relaxed and welcoming attitude compared to the North, which made our experience even more pleasant.

We are not sure we’d describe this as a typical hotel. The interior design is fantastic, with beautiful bedrooms and communal areas, and the location is excellent—safe and secure. The artistic elements are stunning, creating a comfortable, enjoyable space where the rooms flow seamlessly. The interior design feels effortless, but it’s clear that every detail, from shapes and colors to the blend of old and new, has been thoughtfully considered. It’s perfect overall. The marble open stairway is particularly beautiful, situated in a Neapolitan courtyard. - There’s no staff on-site except during breakfast hours, which makes the experience feel more like staying in an apartment than in a hotel. A heads-up about this in advance would be helpful. - The main way of communicating with staff is via WhatsApp. At first, this might seem a bit unconventional, but the staff are quick to respond and very helpful. It’s just not the typical hotel approach. - The ambiance is very quiet. Adding some subtle, calming background music in the communal areas, especially at breakfast, could enhance the atmosphere. - The breakfast setup is cute, and the food is simple and nice, offering options like scrambled eggs (although this wasn’t clearly explained by staff and there is no menu) and warmed croissants with jam and butter. - The balconies are fantastic, typically Italian, offering a lovely outdoor space. However, providing chairs or cushions would make them even more enjoyable. - Upon arriving at night, it wasn’t clear how to get inside. We followed others into the courtyard through large wooden arch doors, but there was no signage indicating the hotel’s location. It’s located upstairs on the second floor, so clearer signage would improve the arrival experience. - Lastly, note that there is no fridge in the rooms.

We booked directly with the hotel and they exceeded our expectations in every way! Bruna was super professional and friendly. I can’t wait to stay at SuperOtium again the next time we’re in Naples ❤️ loved the cozy vibe and gen z interior design. Also really fair prices for the area and the quality of the service.

This is a mix between a budget hotel and a hostel at best. CN included this in a recent article, if you are expecting anything don’t. It has non stop road noise from cars and horns until 1am, you will never be able to relax in the room. Single pane glass in the exterior doors that don’t seal, you can’t keep the noise out. Bed is the typical Italian hard, if you are familiar with it, it will be what you expect. We showed up for breakfast and the attendant was cleaning up everything but the table you actually sit at, crumbs and food from the previous people who sat on each side of the place setting we were offered were scattered all over where the silverware rested. It was gross, we decided to skip it.

I’d describe this as somewhere between an apartment and a B&B experience. Pros: beautifully designed bedrooms and communal areas, good location which is secure and central. Quiet and comfortable. Cons: mixed communication from staff eg. staff onsite ask you to message via WhatsApp but a couple of my requests were ignored (taxi booking and yoga enquiry). Offered sweet pastries for breakfast but eggs prepared after asking for something more substantial. Asked for an iron to iron a shirt and they don’t have one available for guests.

I stayed here with a large group in December 2023 and we were able to book the entire space, which was hugely beneficial. The rooms were very cute and worked well for each group member. The breakfast was included and great to start each day. The living room space was one of our favorite parts of the entire trip since we were the only group there. The only issue was the arrival/departure. The tiny door to pull all of our luggage through was a slight issue and the elevator to get to the second floor was difficult. The cobblestones were also not easy. However, once we were all up in the hotel, the staff were incredibly nice and helpful. This is an ideal place to stay in Naples!

This hotel is one of the best once I've ever stayed in. The workers are so friendly, the breakfast was great the bed was comfortable, and i slept really good! Even though it's so close to the street and all the lively hood, I couldn't here anything! The room was gorgeous!!! So clean, stylish, unique, cozy and wonderful. I wanted to move in! The colourful yet calm colours on the walls, high ceiling, wonderful shower. Just perfect! Even better than I expected. The location is amazing, perfect in the middle of everything! If I'll go to Napoli agin, I'll definitely stay here!

We stayed here for a few nights and were left jaw-dropped by our hosts, Davide and Benedetta. They were really accommodating, super knowledgeable (with excellent recommendations for food, drink and sightseeing) and extremely friendly. The room itself was clean, spacious, beds were comfortable with a choice of pillows, with fast WiFi, and had all the amenities one would want. Breakfast was simply sensational, competing with even 4+ star hotels. Really wouldn't change anything. As for the location, it's perfect to get around and also very accessible by bus to the airport. Frankly, this is the best B&B we've ever stayed in and that's coming from two seasoned travellers. If we could give it more, we would - highly recommended for any type of traveller.

Where to start? We absolutely loved our stay at Le Chiavi di Casa. Davide & Benedetta are wonderful hosts; kind, attentionate & just wanting the best for their guests. We received recommendations on where to eat in Napoli (all delicious!) and they both really take the time to make sure you feel well & have everything you need to feel at home. Breakfast was outstanding with a lot of different delicacies (both salty & sweet) and we loved having a chat with them in the morning before starting our day. The room was very clean & beautifully decorated. To us, it was the quality of a 4-star hotel with an additional human touch to it, thanks to the nice & interesting interactions with our hosts. Benedetta & Davide seem to be passionate about what they are doing and this results in a beautiful experience for their guests. My partner and I both had had great accommodation experiences before, but this one was outstanding. We absolutely loved it.

Amazing B&B and incredibly friendly and hospitable owners. The place is spotlessly clean and the breakfasts are huge and full of pastries, hams and cheeses that are all local. The owner figured out it was my birthday (I’m assuming from my passport) and gave me a cake with a candle on it during breakfast. One of the nicest experiences I’ve ever had staying at any hotel or B&B

We liked everything about this place. The owners are great hosts! They gave us tips for our trip. We could leave our luggage free of charge the last day which made our day and allowed us to enjoy the city more. The breakfast was amazing, with typical sweets and savory treats. The room was very comfy and clean. We slept very well! We were not sure about the location but it is a few minutes away from the Dante place and the historic center. Do not doubt and book this place! We will come back!

We stayed at the location for one week and loved it! The location is great, just one short subway ride away from the city center (check the schedule as the subway line closes mid-day), the bus is also available and easy to use. In the proximity there is anything you could need/want: grocery stores, pharmacies, coffee shops, clothing stores, etc. Alfred and his team are always there to literally answer any question or help with anything you need, every day until late in the evening! Thanks Christian and Francesca for all your support during our stay! They also provided support after we left (we forgot a charging cable and they were open to helping us even after we checked out). The apartments are very clean and equipped with everything necessary and the terrace on top is a must for the daily dose of sun and also a nice view of the city and the Vesuvius volcano. We will definetly keep in touch and stay here again when returning to Naples!

Last minute find. Alfred and the rest of the staff were excellent. The location, cleanliness, and size of the apartment apartment were great. When I come back to Naples, this is the only place I will stay at.

My stay at the residence lasted 10 days and I was traveling with one other person. Here's my honest review, starting with the negative aspects, followed by the positives. Negative points: 1. When we booked, the room was advertised as a twin room with two beds. However, upon arrival, there was only one bed. Fortunately, the staff was able to solve the issue and provided us with two beds later, so that worked out in the end. 2. The location is a bit problematic. While technically central and close to bus and train stations, the residence is situated behind a hill near the city center. To get there, you have to go through a tunnel that’s not ventilated. Walking through it is not recommended for health reasons, so you're pretty much forced to take a bus, taxi, or car every time. 3. The biggest issue for us was the breakfast. When we booked, it was advertised as “breakfast included,” and the pictures suggested items like croissants and cold cuts. In reality, it was just a few pre-packaged cookies and cakes, plus a coffee machine you have to use yourself. This was very disappointing and, in my opinion, misleading. I would not consider this a real breakfast. Positive points: 1. The staff was truly outstanding. Francesca, Alfred, and Christian were all very kind and helpful. They answered all our questions, explained the public transport system, and helped with anything we needed. 2. There’s a lovely rooftop terrace where you can relax during the day or in the evening. 3. The room itself was decent. The water pressure in the shower was good, and although there was sometimes an unpleasant smell from the toilet, I believe that’s due to Naples’ sewage system and not the fault of the residence. 4. It’s important to note that this is not a traditional hotel but more of a residence setup, so don’t expect daily cleaning service. You’ll need to take care of things yourself during your stay. Conclusion: Despite a few drawbacks—especially the misleading breakfast description and the somewhat inconvenient location—our overall experience was still very positive. The incredibly friendly and helpful staff, the rooftop terrace, and the decent room quality made our stay enjoyable. If you're aware of what to expect and don't mind a more independent setup, this residence can definitely be recommended.

Excellent host, he was checking in daily to all is well. The place is clean and comfortable, with 2 Air conditioners. It has some biscuits, jam, honey, spaghetti, tomato sauce, oil, salt, and coffee in case you'd like to make your own breakfast. They offered Private parking in a garage, but it is not in the same building and required around 3 minutes walk. On the other hand, we had an issue with the room window, but they managed to come and resolve it in less than 30 min.

best accommodation experience in Italy. Excellent apartment for the price. Extremely helpful host who helped us with everything. Quiet neighborhood with everything, yet close to the center. Always available and secure garage. All in all great.

We needed somewhere to stay for the night in Naples with secure parking and easy access to the city centre. This apartment ticked all the boxes and was a real find. The apartment was spacious and very clean and the garage for the car was secure (albeit the spaces were a bit tight). It was a 10 minute walk to the metro where we were able to get a train to the city centre. Alfredo and Christian were very helpful and allowed us to check in early (at 12 pm). The roof terrace has great views over Naples and we enjoyed a bottle of wine there in the evening. We would definitely recommend this apartment if you have a car. Even without a car, it’s still a nice place to stay. It’s a little out of the centre, but we liked the area as it felt like we were staying in a working part of the city.

had an amazing stay at La Casa su Nilo! The location in Spaccanapoli is perfect, with everything within walking distance. When I arrived, Luigi was right there downstairs waiting for me. He was excellent, providing all the information and advice I needed about the city. Luigi also has a profound knowledge of world literature. Anna was very kind and always ready to help. They make my stay home away from home. The room was spacious with high ceilings—definitely the highest I’ve ever slept in! The bathroom, decorated with blue ceramic tiles, had a sense of royalty and a touch of summer freshness. The bed was super comfortable—I slept like a baby every night. I would give a 12 out of 10 if I could. Highly recommend!

Luigi was very nice an informative, he was waiting outside to let us in and give us the keys. The apartment was spacious and clean and within walking distance to everything. There was plenty of hot water and the shower was perfect. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen had every thing you needed and there was always coffee in the room. We had a balcony with a nice view of the city.

Have to deduct 1 star as there was no laundry facilities despite being advertised as laundry facilities available, Apart from that, great location and room. Luigi, the person who meets you at the apartment is great. Get him to arrange a taxi from train station.

Perfect location in really nice building! The room had good space for two and bed was nice. Luigi that helped us in is a wonderful guy! Would love to go back to Napoli.

Be careful. They tend to cancel last minute saying sorry overbooked. Just happened to us few hours before checking in. Now paying much more for less and no apologies from the owner. I recommend booking elsewhere. Attached is a picture of the replacement booking and we had to pay more. Don't trust this place

I had a great experience at La Casa Sul Nilo. Everyone was great, from the management to the driver that picked us up at the airport (we have 2 young kids and we travel quite full) . Even if we stayed only one night it has been very special. The apartment was very clean and full of freebies. The bed very comfortable and air conditioning perfect. Finally the location is the best if you want to enjoy the real Napoli.

Very central and nicely designed room with glass showers, we had the smaller room but still well equipped and very comfortable! Luigi our host was absolutely amazing and helpful! The room was quiet at night despite being in the middle of everything. I’d definitely come back here! Forget the hotels, this room in any hotel would cost a lot more.

We spent 5 days at Napoli City Center apartments, our apartment was Toledo. Overall, awesome experience. Location - you cannot find better location for tourists in Napoli, surrounding is clean and safe, in front of the entrance is short pedestrian zone, everything is close (even in the walking distance). Host Gennaro - very nice, welcoming, hard-working, ready to answer even unsaid questions. Apartment - large enough, spotless clean, good mattresses, sofa bed comfortable. Only thing is noise from outside - but in Napoli it is inevitable. Breakfast - 1 drink + 1 pastry in bar Cervantes, perfect service, fresh pastry and delicious coffee.

We spent three nights at the Napoli City Center Apartments, our apartment was Appartamenti e Camere which overlooked harbour. Overall we had a fantastic experience during our stay and loved the location. Rooms - Absolutely beautiful rooms, so clean and beds were so comfortable. Service - Best service I have ever had while getting a room or apartment. Owner provided the best suggestions for restaurants and was just so helpful in every which way. He even ordered us a taxi to the airport on our last evening. Location - BEST location you could possibly ask for in Naples. We could walk where ever we needed to go for tours and walk to all the local attractions aswell.

If I could give 100 stars I would. This place is a gem. Starting from Mr Massimo that was waiting for our arrival and was so welcoming. The apartment is very spacious and clean and the location is perfect to walk to all the interesting places Naples have to offer. The kitchen is fully stocked in case you need to cook your own meal. The bathroom is super spacious and the shower is wonderful. When we arrived, the sofa bed was already made for our daughter and for us this is always a special touch. There's plenty of storage space too, so you can feel more at home without having your clothes inside the luggage. There's even a washing machine and laundry detergent inside one of the closets too. There's also an ironing board with an iron in case you need. It's super clean! I almost forgot: you get free breakfast from the bar located in front of the building, where the staff was super friendly and welcoming. If you are looking for a place to stay in Naples, look no further.

The host Gennaro was very helpful and welcoming, making finding the room very easy and offering a helping hand whenever needed. The beds were very comfortable, full kitchen in the room, and laundry machine. We only stayed one night but we will be back. Also walking distance from the port for those going to the islands

Gennaro was a superb host, communicated clearly and quickly via WhatsApp including videos, maps and top tips for our stay. Apartment was spotless, two rooms and TVs, washing machine, kitchen, kettle and coffee machine, everything you could need. Bang central and follow Gennaro's tips for food. Breakfast was a coffee and pastry in the lovely cafe below.

Clean spacious apartment had everything necessary. In reality apartment felt better than in the pictures. It is located in the old town on one of the quieter side streets. Maria, the host, is very caring and helpful. She provided a lot of useful information and was always available for advise. The best host ever.

Everything was perfect. The deluxe room is big, it was clean and the mattress was amazing. We almost had a better sleep staying here than we did on our own mattress at home. If we return to Naples, we will definitely stay here again!

First of all, we have never met a host quite like Maria. From the moment we booked, she was incredibly helpful even before we arrived in Italy, and once we got there, she went above and beyond to make our stay special. The house itself is immaculate, and even more beautiful in person than in the photos. Its location in Centro Storico is perfect: we stayed during Ferragosto, and while we worried about potential noise, the area around the home was surprisingly peaceful and calm. Maria welcomed us with thoughtful gifts, including delicious Ferragosto treats and complimentary breakfast pastries like sfogliatella and frolla. I had one of the best experiences at Napoli Sogno Infinito. Maria is by far the best host I’ve ever had. Even before our arrival, she was in contact with us and helped us reach the accommodation easily. During check-in, she gave us a detailed tour of the place and welcomed us with water, Prosecco, and snacks. Throughout our stay, she was incredibly helpful with recommendations for restaurants, nightlife in Naples, museums, and absolutely anything else we needed. She was so thoughtful that she even booked a taxi for us at 5 AM to get to the airport, and woke up early to make sure we got there safely. I wholeheartedly recommend NAPOLI SOGNO INFINITO! ☆☆☆☆☆

Sergio was adorable and attentive throughout our stay in Naples. He recommended lots of places and restaurants, and even gave us a bottle of wine for my partner's birthday. The view from the apartment is incredible, the location is very convenient and right across from the port of Naples. I can't recommend it enough! Thanks again Sergio for an unforgettable stay.

A very nice and clean property in a really good location. The views of the harbour is really nice. But the hospitality by Sergio is the best part. He went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and to help us.

Beautiful accommodation with the most wonderful and thoughtful host! Breakfast was also delicious and the room was equipped with everything you could possibly need. I came for my 30th birthday and Sergio welcomed me with a present and a bottle of wine from the house. He always stayed in contact with us, gave us recommendations and was very helpful during our entire stay. My boyfriend even got food poisoning during our last day and Sergio went out of his way to help us. He went to the pharmacy, he gave us pills and was the kindest. Thank you, Sergio! This place is extraordinary! I'll admit that I was weary about the low number of 5 star reviews at first, but I gave it a shot and wow, am I happy I did! Sergio is a super nice guy and an incredible host. We got breakfasts (to order) delivered to our room and all kinds of goodies on arrival: a fridge filled with drinks, aperitif snacks and a bottle of wine! Which is exactly what you are looking for when you arrive and discover the spectacular view. Up on the top floor, you literally get a panorama of the whole city- its breathtaking!!! Sadly, we came at a bad weather season in November where it was both windy and rainy. Even though we booked the place for the view and balcony which we rain kept us from enjoying, it was still 100x worth it for the newly-furnished, clean room, the excellent location, all the added perks and of course a host that made sure that we had no desire left unfulfilled. I've never stayed at a place that deserved 5 stars more. Can't wait to come back when the weather improves.
