The first time I eat here is in 1996. Back then it’s among the best restaurant around 7th Mile, Kuching. 24years later, 2020, the restaurant still kept it reputation. Many have change, from plastic chair and wiggly table to more sturdy furnitures. The food still taste awesome, a bit pricey, But worthy to eat. Not for vegan.

The food is nothing much to comment as taste is very subjective. This place seems being abandoned by the management. The glasses for drinks not proper washed still got stains from previous order. The toilet dirty. The sink for hand washing dirty. A heavy usage cannot be an excuse.

This is my first time going here and i love it so much. The workers are very nice and friendly. The service is fast (for me) and the food portions are just so big! Love their mashed potato and the gravy with it. I can see myself going here many times in the future. The taste? Fairly good. The price of the foods are reasonable in my opinion.

The atmosphere is cozy enough. As their tagline: “Reasonable price, bigger portions”, and yeah they meant it. I had a fried chicken chop. Look at it, its massive. But for me the downside was, inconsistency of each piece chicken. I got 3 pieces, one of it too dry, others juicy. Probably gonna try next menu, next time.

The Beef Shawarma I ordered was bland, and the portion size was quite small considering the price. One behavior I feel compelled to address is how disrespectful the cashier/manager(?) was. I had asked the waiter earlier about the available payment options, and I was told that card payment was accepted. However, when I went to pay the bill, the cashier claimed that the card payment system was down. I gave him a confused look, at which point he reluctantly turned on the card scanner—revealing that the system was actually working???

Order for Maggi Goreng Biasa & Teh Tarik Peng. The mee is nice but somehow they cook the mee using other substance rather than using the sachet original of Maggi Curry. It's very weird like I have at the other restaurant. The restaurant is 24 hours operating and convenience store 7Eleven located one row with the restaurant. Parking spaces is limited here. If you have the empty parking space. The luck is on your side! There is also another restaurant nearby "Nasi Kandar Line Q"

Very nice place for pakistani food. However they do also have local dishes like nasi goreng etc. The 'Arab rice' is so good. Menu almost similar to 'mamak' restaurant only that the cooking style is pakistani style. One drawback they should improve: not to allow the the customer to smoke at their premis and be strict on it.

One of my favourite eatery spot in Kuching. I love the cendol and the rojak. Very tasty. The space not quite vast and always pack during certain time such as lunch time, after working hours and weekends. Parking space also not much, need to park along the roadside. The restaurant clean and the waiters just fine.

First the location is very confused and we overlap the entrance to the cafe. Secondly about the parking problem. Foods and drinks is good and nice taste. The price also was reasonable. The staff is attentive and friendly. But they almost forgot one of the menu that we ordered. The toilet is inside the bundle shop and it is so weird to go through the bundle shop,and going to the back far a bit and so quite lol. The best time to go there is on weekdays and then try to avoid crowded people especially on weekends.

Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed especially with the shaved ice. They used “pre-made” shaved ice instead of freshly shaved ice, so when the cendol arrived, it was like a solid brick. It was hard to mix, and we had to wait for the ice to melt just to enjoy it. It ended up feeling more like a cendol drink than the shaved ice cendol I wanted. As for the Milo Kepal, I expected that thick, gooey condensed Milo texture. But it turned out more like a Milo Dinosaur. Again, it felt like I ordered a Milo drink rather than an actual “kepal” dessert. The flavors are still okay. Parking is very hard to find. You’ll likely need to park further away. Also, I hope the staff can be a little more attentive to customers. I really hope they improve, and I’ll gladly update this review in the future if things get better.

Best cendol in town. Highly recommended

Fortunate enough to have their famous durian cendol with pulut, fabulous. Very affordable too compared to other spots. Lekor was also exceptionally crispy and tasty. Enjoyed our afternoon snack there.

The food was nice cendol and cucur. but we ordered some food but the one we received was a different one. then my friend ask to change but after half an hour they didn’t even make the food. so 2 star for the service.

The cendol special is a must. The durian is very flavorful. Ingredients are fresh. All is well. Recommend to try their lekor and rojak too.

This is a nice, decent cafe with a good variety of local favorites. The nasi lemak and mee kolok goreng were particularly tasty, and the teh tarik was spot on. The kopi tarik was okay but could use a little improvement. Generally, I like this cafe and will definitely come back to try some of the other dishes on the menu when I get the chance.

Try out their kuey tiow goreng (always better than semenanjung). Its quite good actually. Mee kolok was good, as always. A friend order yam drinks (not in the picture). Surprisingly good! You can try if you like yam ice cream.

I don't understand sometimes, what takes them so long to prepare the food (no other customers when we reached, that's why we decide to ate here, as we experienced long waiting when it was crowded), so many workers but not even one care or rechecked our orders why so slow. Should briefing your staffs about customer services, even when the food came late, at least they make their effort to ask the kitchen what happen to our order, not just let us wait there. Few times already, always have to wait even this time no other customers. Today I chose to eat here because I lazy want to drive far to find food, and because I saw your shop empty (I expect the food come fast). Food: Mee goreng Ayam (mee goreng nyaman, just the ayam goreng till keras sangat, gigit pun sakit gigi) Drink: Teh tarik peng- very nice, not too sweet. The mee kolok and nasi lemak here is ok but the choice of food here is very limited. Owner should add more varieties and enhance the interior deco in order to attract more customers.

Average food kinda salty but service is good. Quite disappointed with noodle they use just normal kolomee. Though furniture & deco abit dated this establishment has been around for a long time. I particularly like the hot chinese tea smell of jasmine.

Visiting from kuala lumpur, all the dishes I savoured were thought to be flavourful. If I am visiting kuching again, I will surely be back to dine. Total price was just below RM100.

The food at was truly delicious, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. I really enjoyed the food & taste exceeded my expectations. But I notice that the staff who responsible for clearing tables were not very “friendly” and the way they handled the plates was quite noisy and disruptive. The sound of plates being stacked or placed into baskets was distracting and annoying. Feeling like they were not really like to do the job.

A modern restaurant that provides very interesting & delicious Chinese foods. I really like the roasted duck meat eaten with warm rice, very delicious. Moreover, there is sea cucumber soup too, really delicious. I visited this restaurant because it was close to my hotel on Jalan Padungan. The price of the food is quite expensive but I think the taste is worth it.

The food is absolutely atrocious. We ordered a pork rib dish in a claypot and a pandas wrapped chicken. These dishes were prepared by a cook that was probably working there for the past 40 years , who gave long since given up on the quality. Everything about this place screams ‘it is time for the establishment to retire and call it a day”. The chicken was tasteless and over fried, the pork was prepared with wilted vegetables and overly sweet pork smothered in prepared sauce that would cause you to develop diabetes upon consumption. Total came up to RM50 and it was the worse meal I had.

it's the food that is lacking in my opinion. the roti canai has a standard price but not the taste. it tasted a bit floury i would say, not crispy at all. it's just too, i dont know how to say it, it feels like I'm eating something that didn't cook well. the workers are nice i would say. one of the waitresses took me and my mum's orders. we were a bit confused since this is our first time here. she still treated us nicely despite that although i believe she felt annoyed lmfao. some of the food is self-serviced but some of them you can order from the menu. The prices are decent i would say. there are many tables available so it wouldn't be a problem for a big family. there are baby chairs too, sinks to wash your hands, big mirrors in front of it, toilet too (not sure clean or not). you have to pay at the counter once you're done eating.

First time visiting, really close to pullman Kuching. Food portions are huge for a reasonable price. The Mee goreng is a standout , Mee kolok I heard is famous but sold out. Will come again to try it.

Update1: I didn't like my roti planta anymore with recent visit. Polite and smiley staff. Plain roti canai for RM1.30, roti planta for RM2. No vacant parking space when I went so I had to park as far as WoonLam Cafe 1999 and walked here. Very highly praised for its roti canai and curry but I think it's fine, no complaints. Curry has chicken bits 😊. No aircon. Utensils in hot water.

The rice was old, hard and sticky. The lamb was tough. Except for one staff member the rest were either dismissive and one was downright hostile (young man maybe doesn't like foreigners?) There are many much better cafes.

I've been here for quite sometime. Still maintaining good atmosphere and good food. The staff was friendly & warm during our dining. Price was affordable & variety of menu available to be choose. Roti Canai is a must when you visit here, their provide the best curry (or known "kuah cicah") Cleanliness was great. The only problem is, parking space availibility. You can either park your car road side (which is illegal) or UTC Parking Bay.

Great Indonesian food!!!!! Must try the ayam bakar and the fish. Food is good and price is ok. You can select from a wide range of Indonesian food along with free flow of condiments. The chili has a distinct taste to it. Staff are friendly and helpful. It's in a new area which is rather clean and tidy.

Just ok. Fried Indonesian food that doesn't taste Indonesian. And it's expensive for what it is. I guess you're paying for the AC and such. Not worth it really, you could fly to Pontianak for the same price of the bill and get real Indo food there. They need more selections and a good chef.

Having a simple dinner here. Food were tasted good, vege was surprisingly very fresh and most importantly at very affordable price. Environment was new, Clean, tidy and shiny. Remember to also ask them to introduce what's fresh and special for today.

Hidden restaurant. Big place with many tables. When we came, there's just plenty of people. The place is clean. There are many options of food with price stated in the menu. And you can choose fresh seafood there. The food was okay. Big portion for 5 of us. But for me, all food that we ordered tastes a bit sweet. I don't prefer sweet food. I might come again and try other menus. 5 person = RM 226 Food ordered as in photos that I shared.

The seafood taste ok. We order a steam fish, and it is tasteless. The vegetables are overcooked. No recommend to order corn soup as the pepper overpowers the taste.

The place is very near to airport. The portion I order was the s size, midin was really good for RM15 and can be shared among 4 people. The butter prawn s size was RM30, easy to eat as they peel the shell, whereas the Pineapple squid was super flavourful (mix of spicy and sourness) only for RM20 size s. All the size s portion can be shared among 3 to 4 people. The drink each was RM6 however the cup size were quite big. Affordable and big portion of seafood.

Been here for family dinner, the place is spacious and non-air-conditioning, but well ventilated. Surprised to find that there is monkey caged outside the restaurant. The food portions are quite big, food we ordered taste average and the service is okay. We arrived earlier for dinner around 6pm, plenty of seats available and we wait not long to get our food.

Stumbled upon this place while searching alternative seafood restaurants in the area. The menu was huge and has quite a selection. The service was prompt. We placed our orders for curry squid, butter prawns, mani leaf, ginger venison, salted egg yolk crabs, and some pork satay (as they were put of the other meats). Overall, food was tasty and well prepared. The only thing that didn't quite hit the mark was the crabs. Not as fresh. Venison was a bit chewy. The highlights were the mani leaf, squid and satay.

Non-halal. Its has a spacious dining area. I was turned off with the yam basket as the yam was too salty to my taste. The black pepper was great. The area is cosy with extra parking behind. The pricing also reasonable. The most interesting is the display of dried puffer fish on string. Maybe its just for deco or maybe to ward of the evil spirit, i didn't ask😄😁. Overall it's a good experience.

Wide variety of affordable western food- from salads, chops, pasta, pizza and finger food. The food is decent, value for money. My go-to is chicken chop, aglio olio with chicken chop, carbonara pasta. The pizza is ok, but I can get better ones (different price of course). This place is a local favourite and it seems that they are here to stay. There’s also online order app being promoted there so there’s alternative to get your hands on the offerings here.

I would recommend everyone to try out their most recommended or signature dishes from the menu. We've tried some other dishes, but the flavours, the tastes and fragrances are plain ordinary. Portion and price wise are fair. Waiting time is slow to be honest, depending on what kind of dishes you've ordered. The 'Waiting Part' for the pizza would be the slowest one, not terrible. Maybe, there's another reason why I wasn't enjoying that much, is because I was unlucky that day, hearing kids throwing tantrums and shouting and hitting tables, while the mother wasn't that strict enough to control the situation near by. That have lost my sense of enjoying my meal. Cashier was polite and friendly. Other staff need to be trained a bit on table service and greetings. There are room for improvements after that day's experience. Keep it up and I'll be back one day again.

This is a food stall in a kopitiam that serves western food. It is self-service here where you have order at the counter. If you happen to meet the meal time, you need to wait in line to order. But the waiting time is short, we get out food quite fast despite high customer flow. They also have a condiment area next to the counter for customers to pick up extra condiments and utensils. As a regular customer, I think the taste and portion size of the food are standard and the prices are affordable. Also, there is quite a selection of food, including pasta, pizza, entrees and sides. Sometimes they do offer limited time menu as well.

Been here before tho, during their early days. Still one of the best Muslim-friendly western food place. The portion is surprisingly big & the price very reasonable. Recommended by me: beef lasagna, lamb shoulder. They even serve tomahawk & wagyu A5 here, but need to order atleast one day earlier and with advance payment. Also available, sharing platter.

My first visit. Average atmosphere score as it was before rush hour, and I was the only patron. The menu was nicely varied, but I settled for the fish and chips, as I normally do when visiting a restaurant for the first time, to compare with others. This ranks quite high in my list of affordable restaurants. Price was reasonable, albeit at the higher end of the range. Quality of the meal was very good. Presentation was nice, and the portion very large, which justified the price. With a second visit.

The food served is just fine and like any other ordinary western diner where there's no wow in the dishes. The food's taste plays the largest role here which is lacking in depth of taste here. For a food of such quality, the price seems overpriced. Satisfaction is not guaranteed here.

For Rm10 and you can get a whole chicken chop with rice and fries at the same time on one plate? Well, count me in! The offer only relevant for 12pm until 6pm anyway so dont go after 6 if you want to enjoy the discount hahaha. Sadly the drinks is just overly sweet and i can't drink it. The foods and environment was okay i guess. Nothing specials. There are flies indoor which i don't like so minus a star for that.

Had Bongan talam dinner for 3 at RM39. The portion size was really generous and worth every ringgit. Recommended for those looking for hearty dinner. Beverage price was a bit pricey though... Canned drinks at RM4 (when you can easily bought it less than RM2) was a bit over the top, isn't it?

We had pre gawai dinner here. Mum booked a table a week in advance. The ambience was just right — neither cramped nor noisy. Though there were other customers, our table was perfectly located by the side, offering a comfortable and semi-private dining experience. Service was prompt and attentive. Our dishes arrived within 5 minutes of placing the order, which was pleasantly surprising. As I'm writing this, I've asked them to prepare my (pre-ordered) dishes almost an hour ago. Nothing has been served yet. Update: Our dishes came out except for the duck. The flavours were ok but the vegetables were old and chewy. The pork and prawn was decent. We have already finished the rest of the dishes and have been waiting for 20 mins. I've already asked 3 times for the duck. After the third time they came and told me that they'll cook it now. This service is horrendous.

I have been looking for a Malay fast food place like this for the longest time. Pardon me for the comparison but this is as close to KL Kampung Baru’s nasi campur. The place gets hectic around lunch time so best if you can areive earlier before the crowd. Wide selection of delicious Malay food. If only it is closer to where I work then I’ll come everyday 😂

For a home-grown fastfood restaurant, SugarBun is okay. The outlet at 4th mile is quite clean with ample ample seating for normal crowd. The food is okay although inflation has taken its toll on the size of chicken and fillets. Service was okay and the personnel were courteous.

Okay I get it's a Sunday and it's busy but bro I literally waited in line for my food for so long. I only ordered two chicken sandwich and one kids meal C. It's not even that much. Their yellowish raisin rice and fish fillet are their signature menu that shouldn't be missed. The place is clean and spacious. The restaurant design is simple and has good sun lighting in the restaurant as they use a lot of glass in the design.

Food is priced at par with other fast food chains but taste is sub par also the quantity is insufficient. Place is super clean ( probably because no one really goes here ) staff is quick and cordial. Parking was easy to find. This one also has a mini play area for kids.

The Sarawak only fast food. The sausage rice is quite special and u can even try order yourself a fried fish set, which is quite authentic

A small restaurant serving good Chinese food. It’s a hidden gem located between stores without a big sign introducing customers to try their food. My brother introduced me to this place so I decided to try it out. Slow service due to the preparation for their catering service by one of the customers. Anyways, great food and experience. Although it’s a small restaurant, but still great food and offer catering service to your home.

Found this place by accident on Google Maps and decided to try it out. The place was quiet on a Friday night with only two tables occupied including ours. The boss lady was very nice and friendly. She understood English so it was easy for us to order and communicate with her. We waited around 20 minutes for the food to arrive. We had their pork spareribs, butter fish fillet, salted egg bitter gourd, and mushroom and beancurd soup. All the dishes were of just a nice portion (we ordered small for all - 3 pax) and were delicious. For drinks, their fresh aloe vera and wheatgrass C were refreshing. The only downside was the cleanliness of the washroom. There were also a couple of flies flying around in the air-conditioned room.

A mixture of old favourite from sweet & sour pork to yam mixed vegetables from this ancient fixture, which has been here since the inception of this shop block.

Food is nice. Service is moderate since they always lack of waiters/waitresses. Mongolian lamb shank is my family all time favorite. They provide catering service too.

Dishes are reasonably priced and delicious

Enjoyed my dinner here. We ordered honey lamb, ang zho fish, midin umai style and roast chicken. Everything was on point and lao ban niang was very nice too 😊 Highly recommended!
