If you're on the lookout for a laid-back dining experience that serves up Southern-style seafood, Fish City Grill is the perfect spot to satisfy your cravings. This charming chain offers a delightful menu featuring daily chalkboard specials that keep things fresh and exciting. Start your meal with their Smokin Hot Shrimp, which is sure to ignite your taste buds and set the tone for an enjoyable feast.
The atmosphere is so welcoming. The chalkboard menu is composed of amazing specials and only adds a little pizzazz to items listed on the regular menu. Our server, Abigail, was top notch! The hospitality is out-of-this-world phenomenal. We went in as first timers and for our anniversary; they made us feel so noticed and so celebrated. They provided us with the first timers welcome sampler which was so tasty, and during our visit, we met 2 managers who made sure we were completely satisfied. From the time we arrived to the time we left, it was an experience to remember!

Great seafood spot! Tasted great and the service was wonderful! Highly recommend if you're in the neighborhood and craving some seafood. The gumbo was salty and mild. The fish was tender and seasoned well. The oysters were good and the shrimp was great! Even the broccoli florets were seasoned well! They had a beefy flavor seared into them. The hushpuppies were sweet with a crispy outside and soft inside. Wish they were a bit bigger, but complimented the meal well. The coleslaw had a nice apple vinaigrette taste. I'll have to stop by again if I'm back in town for business!

Bartender Jose is incredible. All servers are great. Food is always presented beautifully and is delicious. There is something for everybody. They have healthy low calorie options like salmon and spinach and beer battered cod with fries. The lobster grilled cheese is surprisingly tasty. The east coast oysters are the best. And if fish is not your thing, they have chicken and sausage over red beans and rice. You will love it!

Everything from the start was perfect! Abigail took wonderful care of us. We tried the lobster ravioli and calamari along with their jalapeño soup, clam chowder soup! Their cocktail was delicious and my time with my kids was well worth it! I can’t wait to bring my dad for Father’s Day here!
Casandra M — Google review
Jose is an excellent server. We have eaten there every two weeks for the last year. We order our favorites off the menu and we have tried many of their specials. We have never been disappointed with our food or service! They have beer battered fish and chips, grilled fish with rice and beans, or salad with salmon on top. As healthy or as fried as you want.

It was delicious. I had the red fish special at $27.00. I was expecting a feast, but I was satisfied with the flavors. Red fish, 2 shrimp, crab butter over the shrimp, and fish set on a pillow of creamy Parmigiano rice. Very good, just wish I had more. The burger was just ok, not impressed. The patty was dry and needed more flavor. Key lime pie was ok 6 out of 10. The patron margarita 🍹 was nice. Overall, I recommend fish city grill for someone who wants to have the red fish special.

I recently visited Fish City Grill in Waco and overall had a solid seafood dining experience. Here’s a breakdown: ✅ What I liked • Fresh & flavorful seafood – The fish was well-seasoned and cooked just right. Their shrimp, oysters, and seafood platters all showed care and freshness. • Generous portions – You get a satisfying amount of food. It’s not stingy. • Welcoming atmosphere – The decor is casual and comfortable, with a neighborhood feel. The chalkboard specials add a nice touch of variety. • Friendly staff – Servers were attentive and pleasant, making you feel welcome. • Standout dishes – • Good value for seafood in Waco – Considering the quality, the prices felt reasonable.

Nestled along the scenic banks of the Brazos River, The Brazos Landing is a charming eatery that perfectly blends a relaxed atmosphere with delicious Cajun and American cuisine. Formerly known as Buzzard Billy's, this beloved spot has been serving up mouthwatering dishes for nearly 25 years. With its inviting deck and patio seating, diners can enjoy stunning views of the river—especially magical at sunset—while indulging in an array of seafood options like fish, shrimp, and oysters.
Our experience at The Brazos Landing was excellent. Our food was delicious. The server was friendly and competent. Highly recommend the gator. One member of our party ordered the chicken fried steak and it was HUGE. She took home half of it! Great atmosphere because of its location on the river as well.

Took my mom here for a visit. We loved it. The location is perfect. It's right off the water and a walking path. It is close to I-35, Baylor and Cameron Park Zoo. You can sit outside and watch people walk/run, along with the birds. Service was quick and helpful.

Everything from the atmosphere to the food was top notch! Samantha was our server and she was on top of everything! Her personality was warm and inviting and we could tell she truly enjoys working here. There isn't much that can be said a out the food, other than 🤌🤌❤️❤️. Spectacular! It was an incredible first experience and we can't wait to go back!.

The food is great! We order kids Chicken Tenders, Chicken Parmesan plate, and the Swamp soup, Spinach Artichoke dip, and Coconut Shrimp, The chicken is very tender and seasoning is perfect, the fries are well cooked and the soup is nice and creamy, the shrimp is on point and the corn is Immaculate! 11/20 food and the atmosphere is great!, it's makes you feel like your at a lake house or near the river, which you are, of course, and the service is great! Very attentive!

I was a walk-in off the running trail, just needing an ice tea, but I decided on a snack. I ordered mozzarella sticks with my drink. The sticks were wonderful and really big for the price! I had to take half of it home with me and my friends mentioned the ranch dip being some of the best they've had. The atmosphere feels very date-like and professional and the bar area feels so fancy! I may bring a date here in the future and try more of the menu.

We came to Waco for the weekend to celebrate our anniversary. The atmosphere was nice. They kept the patio very breezing and cool. But the food was not very good. We ordered the short ribs Mac and cheese and a wedge salad, flounder tacos and the lobster bisque and 2 bloody Mary’s. The Mac and cheese was bland and slimey, the wedge salad was missing the tomatoes, the taco tasted like they used frozen fish and they were dry, the lobster bisque tasted like tomato soup with shrimp or something(didn’t taste or feel like lobster) and the bloody Mary’s were way to citrusy and missing the bacon. This is definitely not some place I would go home talking about and definitely not worth the price. After talking with some locals they don’t recommend this place since it’s changed from buzzard Billy’s.
JESSICA M — Google review
Over all great experience, the atmosphere is amazing and the food was top. We really thought it was going to be just another buttery meal, but no, it was delicious. We ordered grilled shrimps, coconut shrimps and grilled snapper, the sauce that came with it was great. There is a little vending machine for fish food, absolutely worth it, lots of turtles and catfishes there.
Débora P — Google review
Recommended by a local friend, we were extremely satisfied with our visit! They have a VERY extensive selection of whiskies and wines to get you started! The swamp soup was velvety goodness! Alligator bites were a bit too small, in my opinion, but nice with 3 different dipping sauces. The Crescent City Chicken was full of flavor , especially on top of some creamy potatoes. The Blackened Trio was a little disappointing w a very small piece of catfish, about 4 shrimp, and a large chicken breat that was a bit dry. The bed of rice was a bit undercooked, but the veggies were the best part of the dish! We ended with an extremely delicious peach cobbler w cinnamon ice cream. Friendly service throughout the night. Unfortunately, there were long waits between courses, not sure why. All in all, we'll definitely be back, and we definitely recommend , especially with its great location and all the great views of the Brazos!

Ichiban Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar offers a diverse menu featuring sushi rolls, sashimi, tempura, and teppanyaki-grilled entrees. The skilled chefs at the teppanyaki tables provide an entertaining culinary experience with their precision and acrobatics. The restaurant's lively atmosphere complements the interactive dining experience. Customers can enjoy a variety of flavors and textures from steak, chicken, and shrimp cooked on the hot grill.
Such a fun experience! The food was delicious, fresh, and cooked perfectly right in front of us. The hibachi chefs really know how to put on a show—lots of laughs, great energy, and amazing flavors. The portions were generous (you definitely won’t leave hungry), and everything from the fried rice to the steak and shrimp was spot on. The staff was super friendly and made the whole experience even better. Perfect place for a family dinner, date night, or just a fun night out with friends. Can’t wait to go back!
Vianey R — Google review
We sat in the hibachi grill room. The food was delicious. However, it took almost an hour to get a chef to cook on Monday. It was slow. Our server was not attentive at all. The chef was spectacular and did an excellent job preparing our food. The portions were large and flavorful. The restroom area is under construction or so it looks. You walk into such a beautiful restaurant, but this area looks like a storage area. The women's needed attention. The men's door was broken. Minus this part and the slow service it was a good night.
Shuntala C — Google review
Very upscale and beautiful restaurant. We ordered sushi and 1 fried appetizer, fried dumplings - they were delicious, especially the dipping sauce. Our order includes a delicious clear mushroom broth (my husband was obsessed & said he could eat it every day) and my favorite ginger dressed salad. The sushi was good, large rolls & honestly it was not the best sushi I've had- however my husband loved it and the experience was spectacular. Our waiter was kind,I did not get his name- but I loved him! My husband was very enamored by the luxurious interior & we will be back for sure on date night to try the hibachi- can't wait to see his reaction to that!! 🤩💓 Thank you for the great lunch.

I reserved the VIP room for private dining in celebration of my grandmother's birthday. This was my grandmother's first time eating hibachi and they enjoyed every minute of it!

My boyfriend and I came tonight for a late birthday dinner and our first time dining here. Our server was amazing and attentive. I wish we caught her name, but she has glasses and dark hair. She was very sweet, asked us if we wanted a photo for our date. She overheard me say my boyfriend love yum yum sauce and gave him some to take home. We will definitely be back!

We stopped by for an early dinner. The restaurant was a vibe. The manager was very helpful and informative. We didn't wait long to be seated and our waitress Hailey was really attentive and gave really good recommendations. Would definitely come back again!

Me and my family went to eat here Sunday afternoon and after waiting a while we were helped and were given the sweetest most amazing and frequently attentive server named Hue. Her soul just shined so bright she was so sweet and she made up for the time we were waiting , she was on top of everything as drinks.. salads and soups, and she even brought us a free desert. Thank you Hue again for the amazing service may God continue to bless you !

Opal's Oysters is a fantastic seafood restaurant in Waco that offers unique and delicious dishes in a warm, cozy, and upscale setting. The servers are knowledgeable about the menu and provide excellent recommendations while giving guests the perfect amount of attention. The food is phenomenal, with standout items like oysters, clam linguine, cheesy polenta, Blue Crab Louis, and Lobster Roll receiving high praise. Guests also appreciate the attentive service from staff members like Anne and Brooke.
This meal was a culinary delight! I’ve been to Opal’s twice now, and have been filled with joy at the artful care and fantastic flavors they offer. Both times I had the hotcakes with smoked trout roe, cultured butter, and honeycomb. I haven’t had many flavors that were this divine. Hats off to the Chef that came up with this idea. Wow! I was also thoroughly impressed with the mocktail menu. Tea No. 94 was fantastic. I’m a huge earl gray fan and this drink made me feel like I wasn’t missing out on anything because I couldn’t have a cocktail. We also really enjoyed the smoked oysters. Superb flavor! The Chilean sea bass has the perfect crispy outside and tender, flaky inside. My husband had the filet mignon which melted in your mouth. We even loved the greens that come with the meal. Very unique blend of tarragon, parsley and peppermint. The polenta was so creamy I had to say “wow!” after every bite. Last we had the strawberry bundt cake. It was warm! What a delightful and insightful surprise. So light and fluffy. Every part of our meal had high quality ingredients that were put together in a way to have flavor that was meant to be savored. Thank you to the chef who cooked our meal and thank you to the chef who created the menu! Wow! 5 stars indeed! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at Opal’s Oysters, and it was an unforgettable evening. Booking our reservation online was effortless, with a user-friendly system allowing us to select our preferred time and the vibrant oyster bar seating. Upon arrival, the hostess greeted us with a warm, genuine smile, promptly escorting us to our chosen seats at the lively oyster bar, where we could observe the chefs’ artistry. Our server, attentive and knowledgeable, made our first visit exceptional by thoroughly explaining the menu and recommending exquisite pairings. We ordered a full-course meal, starting with plump, briny East Coast oysters, their fresh, oceanic flavor elevated by zesty cocktail sauce and a tangy vinaigrette. The salmon lox was sublime, delicately smoky, with vibrant capers and slivers of red onion adding crunch and zest. The crab cake, golden-crisp outside and tender inside, burst with sweet crab, while the mussels, bathed in a fragrant, garlicky broth, were succulent and flavorful. Each dish was presented with elegance, reflecting the restaurant’s commitment to quality. The sophisticated ambiance of the fancy dining area, with its refined decor and soft lighting, created an intimate and luxurious experience. Opal’s Oysters crafted a cherished anniversary memory we’ll treasure forever. Thank you Chris and his staff we will definitely be coming back!

The best restaurant in Waco hands down and I don’t care what you think. If you like caviar, sea bass, crudo, truffles, lobster bisque, etc.. then do yourself a favor and check this place out. We love it here. Everytime we come I try and remember to write a review. The restaurant doesn’t need any positive reviews. They make their own way here! Food and service speak for itself. But I’ll add to it anyways. Sorry for the pictures of the appetizers and no entrees. We got the sea bass, so good! No other place in Waco is even close.
Jeremy G — Google review
Really nice place! Service and food was great. The only reason fr the 4 stars on the food was the steak and eggs. All were cooked well and tasted fine just wasn’t anything special. Blue crab cake, lobster Mac b cheese and shrimp cocktail were amazing including cocktail sauce.

What an amazing place. The atmosphere is absolutely perfect. Elizabeth, our server was amazing. She was prompt on everything, came back to the table at all the right times. She was friendly and recommended great items. The food was so good! Everything was fresh and bursting with flavor. The drinks were strong and flavorful. Opals will definitely be on our “return to” list!
Justin T — Google review
My husband and I love Opals! He recently took me to celebrate my birthday and we were seated at a sweet little table on the patio. It felt we had our own private space to enjoy our meal together! We enjoyed one of the fall cocktails (fig fashioned)! Then shared the steak tartare which was fabulous with the yolk on top. We ditched two entrees and shared the crab cake with several sides. We love Opals shared sides! You can’t go wrong with any of them, but our favorites continue to be the lobster Mac and cheese as well as the creamy polenta! Lastly, we enjoyed the chocolate cake with ice cream and an espresso! Our server, Elizabeth, was attentive, intentional, and joyful! She made sure we were taken care of and right at home. Thank you Elizabeth!!🥳
Katy T — Google review
Food was exceptional. The only thing better than the food was our server, Elizabeth. She truly made our girls night memorable. Elizabeth knew the menu, answered our questions, provided prompt service, all while giving us genuine, cheerful vibes! THANK YOU! Will recommend this place AND the server to friends and family visiting Waco.

Great atmosphere, upscale and casual at the same time. Food was fabulous. The Crudo was amazing. Our daily included salmon, tuna, hamachi and scallops! The broiled oysters with whipped gruyere and bacon jam was over the top delicious. Strawberry bundt cake was light and fluffy. Highly recommend Opal's if you love fresh seafood.

The Butcher's Cellar in Waco is a new addition to the dining scene, offering a fine dining experience. Guests have praised the warm welcome from the hostess and excellent service throughout their visit. The extensive wine and drink menus were promptly provided, and diners raved about the delectable appetizers such as grilled oysters. The main courses, particularly the filet steaks, were prepared and served perfectly. The 7-layer chocolate cake was also a hit with patrons.
My husband and I were in town and decided to try out this place for my 30th birthday. Everything we had was AMAZING! Our waitress was phenomenal and gave us great recommendations and was very knowledge about the menu. She answered all questions throughly and was very kind. They even comped our dessert for my birthday. We have the oysters Rockefeller, steak and Fritas, fillet, ribs ribs and Mac and cheese. Everyone needs to try this place. Atmosphere was great also. Good vibes 🤩 will return.

My husband and I went there yesterday for our early Valentine’s Day dinner since I’d be working the whole weekend. I had the trophy wife drink, the Texas red fish and he had the low mein and the sushi. We also had the wagyu dumplings and frites. From the server to the owner checking on us everything eas perfect. At first, I didn’t like the Texas red fish but I took it home and for some reason it was a hit when shared with my kids and mom. To be honest, I wasn’t that hungry and was more into enjoying my date. The atmosphere is so cozy and relaxing. I’ve been there before with colleagues and had the chicken on a bed of mashed potatoes and it was divine. This is a place you keep returning to because there is so much attention to details and they know how to make you feel special.

We had an amazing dining experience at The Butcher & The Cellar! Every meal was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The atmosphere was amazing! and the service was top-notch. Whether you’re a local or just visiting Waco, this is definitely a spot worth checking out. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back! Shout out to our server, Jordan she was awesome!

Nothing but exceptional! From service, to decor, to beautiful, creative, balanced, delicious dishes, we were very impressed. This restaurant has everything you could want in a fine-dining steak house. The atomosphere is a mix of classy-cozy-vintage-eclectic. Our serve Tyler was very friendly and knowledgeable. Even the restaurant manager Matt came over and made us feel quite welcome. The Butcher’s Cellar is a place we will be returning to. Thank you guys for a wonderful dining experience.
Wendy D — Google review
We ordered the 1000 layer potato, wagyu dumplings, truffle fries, Brussels sprouts, along with the Red Fish and Aged Pork Chops. Of the appetizers the wagyu dumplings and fries were my favorite. The sauce for the layer potatoes needed my salt in my opinion but outside of that everything else was phenomenal. The Red Fish’s white wine butter sauce was divine and I highly recommend this if you like seafood! Excellent service and beautiful decor and atmosphere.
Jaja C — Google review
Outstanding service. Good drinks. Nice atmosphere but just short of a typical 5 star steak house. Our meal was excellent with one exception. We had crab cakes, fillet, side and appetizer. The food was very good except the steak. They recooked the steak but it was not good. THEY DID NOT CHARGE US for the steak. We will go back and eat there again because of the service and other menu items, but will never take a chance on ordering their steak as they had no explanation as to why both steaks were ruined on the grill.
Chris M — Google review
From the moment I stepped through the front doors, I immediately knew how special and unique our evening would be! It was more than I could have imagined from the start. From the beautiful decor, amazing drinks, incredible service, and the "out of this world" food, we couldn't have had a better experience. Our party of 6 shared several dishes and we got to experience quite an assortment of meals, appetizers, and sides. With each bite, we were all in heaven! I even have Celiac Disease and I could enjoy the majority of all of the items on the menu. You will not be disappointed and the Chefs have worked very hard to make a very top notch menu that will be constantly changing! THANK YOU for our wonderful evening!
Hollie W — Google review
The Butcher’s Cellar is truly doing special things for the dining scene in Waco. Chefs Alejandro and Alyssa have a dedication to excellence that transcends anything previously seen in this market. The best steaks in the county are simply a starting point or “qualifier.” We could, and have, stuffed ourselves senseless on the appetizer menu alone. No chefs in the area have earned my absolute trust more and with such authority. Don’t hesitate to order anything that remotely piques your interest, it will be delicious and beautiful. No stone left unturned on this menu. Service and atmosphere set a new standard for upscale dining in this area. If you’re visiting from out of town, I implore you not to miss this place, as it represents the future of the bourgeoning culinary scene in the greater Waco area. If you’re a local, make this your special occasion spot. They are going above and beyond the “good for Waco” stamp that gets slapped on popular new restaurants. It’s excellent for ANYWHERE, and that deserves to be recognized and appreciated. It’s a gem, and I’m proud to have it in my own backyard.

Cafe Homestead is a well-known restaurant located at the historic craft village, Homestead Heritage, just a few miles from central Waco. It's a popular dining spot for both locals and tourists looking to experience the old Texan charm and traditions of Texas farming communities. The restaurant prides itself on serving locally sourced American cuisine with an emphasis on farm-to-table dining. Following a fire that destroyed the original building, Cafe Homestead has been rebuilt into a beautiful establishment.
My wife and 2 year old daughter went here tonight and it was one of the best food experiences of our lives. We were blown away by the quality of food and the service. This is a must visit food place in Waco and Texas for that matter. We wish we could eat there everyday! We highly recommend getting the spinach dip as an appetizer as well! It will be the best you’ve ever had!

Gem of a place. The food was delicious. Their buttermilk biscuits are the best I've ever had...even more than those at Magnolia Table. The staff is so friendly. Their little store in the main entrance area is FUN, but if you schedule your time there right, you can visit and enjoy all the Homestead village shops and atmosphere. Worth the time. I recommend a reservation.

Well that was quite the incredible accidental discovery. On our autumn road trip getaway to San Antonio, we were looking for lunch outside Waco. My wife ran a Google search for "restaurants near me" and in the top of the list was Homestead Cafe. We were on I35 so it wasn't exactly "near" but the drive through the country was worth a few miles. The cafe is the heart of a beautiful craft community. The staff was wonderful. The atmosphere is warm and rustic. My wife enjoyed the wagu burger and my the wagu brisket tacos we among the best I have ever savored. Best of all, a classic car rally had made a stop here. Wow!

Cafe Homestead has amazing guacamole and salsa. Everything is mostly made in house or locally sourced. The atmosphere is family friendly and the community around is perfect to explore. I come down from DFW at least once a year at least just to eat here. The service is fantastic, and today Jessica was our server who kept that stellar service going. I recommend making a reservation and giving yourself time to park and walk around the grounds as it’s always busy.

We had such a great experience at Cafe Homestead! The food was absolutely amazing — everything was fresh and full of flavor. The service was perfect from start to finish, and the staff made us feel so welcome. The restaurant itself is beautiful and has such a cozy, inviting atmosphere. We’ll definitely be coming back soon!

I finally made my way to Cafe Homestead and it was a true delight. My waiter, Brandon, was very kind and knowledgeable of the menu items to select for me a good choice. I chose the Sriacha burger, fries and the corn fritters with a Lemonade Peach tea. The food was absolutely delicious. The inside of the restaurant is warm and welcoming and not at all noisy. So my dining experience was quite enjoyable, up until a young lady came over and begin spraying some sort of cleaning agent to prepare the tables for the next guest. I've come to notice this trend being practiced at several mainstream restaurants and for me personally, it is annoying to be subjected to smelling chemicals and spray being aerialized around guests who are eating. This is why I lowered my rating from 5 to a 4 star because of this annoying trend. Would I recommend this restaurant, yes. Would I return for the good food, yes. But I hope that management after reading this review will be mindful to their cleaning practices around its paying guest because I do not care to see chemicals being sprayed around while I'm trying to enjoy my meal.

We last visited Cafe Homestead in the Fall of 2022 before the original restaurant burned down. When planning another trip to Waco for my daughter's birthday, we read the story about the unfortunate situation, but we were very glad to hear about the rebuilding of the facility. 18 weeks from the time it burned down to coming back online is nothing short of amazing. This trip was not unlike the last, in that the food, service and overall experience were simply fantastic. I had the Chicken Fried Steak, which continues to be the best I've ever had. All four of us were stuffed and quite satisfied after our meal. Next time we plan on spending more time exploring the area shops and activities. Highly Recommend!

Hearty great food prepared from scratch like Grandma used to make! The bestest salads! The ranch dressing is just awesome. Desserts made from scratch are soooo good! Even the tea is just fantastic! Get the peach tea or Cream Earl Gray in cooler weather. Friendliest, most polite staff. Beautiful building with lots of handcrafted touches. So much fun shopping around the restaurant whilst you wait! One of our favorite places!

Jakes Texas Tea House is a retro eatery in Waco, TX with a gas station theme and classic Southern cuisine. The veteran-owned restaurant offers hearty brunch options at great prices and provides stellar service in a cozy setting. The 50s-inspired diner-like atmosphere features quirky decor, including 1950s style cars and bright blue paintings on the walls.
The cafe is located in downtown of Waco and has its own parking lot for visitors. The unusual design of the cafe attracts visitors of different ages, it is interesting to visit both adults and children. For children, there is a small police car, which they can jump into for only 25 cents. The waiters were very friendly and served quickly, although there were a lot of people in the cafe. The food was very fresh and tasty, we were satisfied. If you are in Waco, then be sure to visit this cafe. I think you will be satisfied.

Fun retro diner with 50s car theme and candy colored leather booths. Their menu varies a bit between the week and Sunday but they're consistent with making Caesar salad table side and providing family style vegetable side dishes for the table. I especially enjoyed the chicken breast and creamed corn. The have booth, table, and bar seating in a large inside dining room as well as a few umbrella tables outside. There is street parking on surrounding blocks.

We headed here after visiting the Dr Pepper museum. We (3 seniors, 3 adults and our grandson) were greeted by the owner who took us straight to a table for 7. Our server was very friendly and efficient. The food was great and everyone got something they enjoyed. On our experience we would highly recommend. See the additional part regarding kid friendliness below.

Genuinely worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. I am a 19 year old college student and they definitely took advantage of it. We went on a Sunday, and they have a different menu on Sunday. My sister and I asked to split an $18 chicken tender meal and the waitress said sure. Our bill ended up being $33 and we asked why. They had charged us for a random “veggie plate” and said anyone who eats has to be charged. We said we understood, but we split a meal. I only had a singular chicken tender and they charged us an addition $15. When we asked what the veggie plate was they couldn’t explain it to us. They just said they had to charge us for extra since we both ate food and it was policy. Both the manager and waitress were very rude to us and acted like we were dumb just for asking why they charged us. The manger continued to repeat “it’s on the menu sweetie just look at the menu.” So we looked at the menu after we left, and it wasn’t on the menu! I really feel like we were taken advantage of as young girls because we weren’t great at standing up for ourselves. The waitress also accidentally brought out an extra drink and I told her I would take it if she was just going to dump it, and they ended up charging us for that as well. They took it off very belligerently after this whole ordeal and acted like they did us a favor. Overall food was not amazing for the price, waitress and manager were pretty rude, and they only care about the money.

Place was awesome and the food was delicious. The only thing that kinda worried me is the parking situation. But everything about this place is perfect!

I recently visited Jake’s Texas Teahouse and tried a few of their offerings. The atmosphere is really charming, and the service was excellent—friendly and attentive throughout our meal. As for the food, I had the chicken fried steak with fries and fried okra. While the sides were tasty, the chicken fried steak wasn’t quite my favorite. I felt the gravy could use a little more flavor to complement the dish. On the bright side, I also had the Cadillac Melt with a Caesar salad, and it was pretty good! However, a touch of salt and pepper would have made it even better. The decor is cozy and nostalgic, filled with classic touches that create a welcoming, throwback vibe. It’s a great spot for families with kids and anyone who enjoys taking in some old-school charm while they dine. Overall, the dining experience was enjoyable thanks to the warm service and great atmosphere. I’m sure with a few small tweaks to the seasoning, this place will be even better!

I've visited a few local restaurants in Waco, and all of them were really good, I went here for lunch to see if I could keep up that streak, and this restaurant surely didn't break it. Food ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Me and my parents got rather basic meals, but even then, they were all really good. I recommend trying their more interesting foods though, I'm sure those are even better. I got the BLT, my mom got the regular burger, and my dad got a chicken sandwich, all came with a side of fries, for my meal I added some watermelon along with my side of fries as well. Everything tasted really fresh and was packed with flavor. The buns were toasted perfectly along with the meat, and the mayo and condiments were really good as well. My watermelon was pretty good too, I was expecting an average watermelon, but the freshness and the nice balance of sweetness and flavor made it a little extra special. The only thing I didn't enjoy as much were the fries. They were a little mushy but had a home style taste. I appreciated that it wasn't loaded with salt too, but I would've liked more seasoning on it. It's not enough to bring it down a star because I enjoyed it overall, including the meals. Definitely recommend the food. Service ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The waiters were nice and consistently checked up on us to see how we liked the food or if we needed anything else. It wasn't anything special, but it was great overall. The food came out pretty quickly, and we spent about 30 minutes in the restaurant, great service overall and there weren't any major problems Atmosphere ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I think an atmosphere deserves five stars when it's not just good, but great, and special in a way. This place had so much old fashioned detail and there was a lot to look at while you sat down. Something else I thought was neat was that there were notes inside the crevices in the brick wall of the restaurant. They each had a message inside to read and was something I distracted myself with while I waited for my food. Another cool detail was that the food was served in hubcaps, you can't tell with my pictures, since it was covered in food and was shown on the bottom of the plate. Overall, really awesome atmosphere and it wasn't too cramped either. I was really satisfied with this place overall. The atmosphere and the food is what made this place stand out among the rest. I wanted to try their pies but ended up being too full. That's something else this place is known for apparently. Props to the owner for a great restaurant!

Fine dining in a strip mall. Go figure. Once you enter you'll be surprised. The decor is upscale steakhouse all the way. The service is in keeping with the high-end atmosphere. Attentive but never pushed and formal but friendly. Our waiter was professional and informative and a great attitude. A Certified Akaushi 8oz filet is $68 and well.worth it and cooked perfectly. We shared scalloped potatoes and cream spinach sides which were also delicious easily enough for two. For dessert I ordered their "signature" Creme Brulee. Nice crunch on top and great flavor. So there you have it. If you are in the Waco area and aren't afraid to pay for a great meal One Thirty Five is your spot. Thank you for a fine meal.

I wish I was in Texas longer so I could come back here. This was the best ribeye I’ve had in years - I HIGHLY recommend their Marsala mushroom sauce. We got there at opening, so we were able to walk in and be seated. They have the main floor, bar seating, outdoor seating, a private dining room, and a larger separate event room. The waitstaff here wear white button-downs and black ties, so it’s recommended that you dress up at least a little.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the staff was friendly, but overall our experience was just okay. The food was nothing special, and for the price, we expected a bit more attention to detail.

Our server Jordan was amazing our entire experience! All the savory foods were absolutely delicious. As unique as the cocktails were, most of them at the table were not actually very good(sometimes it's better to stick to the classics). For main course, I ordered the 135 medallions. As delicious as the food was, the portion size was laughable. My friend ordered the 6oz steak, and this was definitely less than half the quantity of meat(it says 4oz). When they showed up with a tiny smear of polenta and maybe what was 3 oz of steak before cooked on a massive plate, everyone at the table literally laughed out loud. Definitely not worth $42. For dessert, we ordered the 8 layer amaretto chocolate cake, which looks absolutely delicious. Looks aside, the cake is actually the driest cake I've ever had, I would not recommend it.

We took a party of eight here to celebrate graduation recently. Graduation evening is hard to get reservations, and 135 had seating in their “annex”, so we knew we weren’t getting the main restaurant. This isn’t a knock on the restaurant, because they opened up more tables for hungry families, but the annex seating is functional at best. The main restaurant is classy and well appointed, while the annex is for office parties. The food here is good; nothing we had was bad. But none of it was the best version of what we have eaten before. We had steak, pasta, chicken and fish and enjoyed it all. Unfortunately the prices mirror some of the finest restaurants in larger cities, and this didn’t meet those expectations. The pasta sauce had broken, the steak medallions were strangely sliced and cooked, and the chocolate cake tasted like it had been in the chiller for quite a while. None of it “bad”, just slight misses. Our waiter was attentive and did a good job of making recommendations. It was especially admirable given that he was fifty yards from the main kitchen. If you want a nicer dinner in Waco, there aren’t many restaurants that are better than 135. Just don’t expect too much.

Four of us enjoyed an early dinner. The hostess was friendly as was our server. Attentive without being intrusive. Our food, all of us had filets, was cooked to order. Excellent flavor. Lobster risotto, lobster Mac and mashed potatoes were delicious. We did have an issue with one item but our server handled it without it becoming a hassle. Excellent service recovery. The wine and cocktail list is extensive. The wines by the glass give you plenty of options as well. We've dined here a few times and won't hesitate to return in the future when in the area.

It was husband's 81st birthday, which I informed when making reservation and asked if special occasion, however at no time during our during our visit was it ever mentioned. We had a horrible waiter, he never asked what we would like with our entree, when my husband informed him that he wanted a baked potato and creme spinach, the waiter said are you sure, that will be extra. My husband assured him he knew that before he ordered. Waiter never asked what we wanted to drink so we informed him what we wanted. Not once did waiter return to our table after food was delivered. Husband ran out of ice tea and had to drink water as the opportunity to ask for more tea never was provided. After we had eaten and sat there for fifteen minutes waiter appeared and asked if we wanted dessert, we said maybe do you have a dessert menu, which he left and brought back. A few minutes later he asked if we decided on dessert, I told him what I wanted and he turned to leave when my husband said Id like to order a dessert also. We will never be back to 135Prime nor will we recommend to anyone. What a big disappointment.

After a business trip to Fort Worth concluded, on the way back home to Austin, I decided to stay the night in Waco. While there, I enjoyed a delicious meal in this hidden gem, 1424 Bistro, fit for a romantic evening for any couple. The service was exceptional and timed perfectly. Anissa, the bartender was very professional with her recommendations, and I was immensely impressed by her knowledge of running any sector of a restaurant. My selections for the evening included several new special appetizers and a Chef's Special Entrée which paired perfectly with a Pinot Noir from 1424's new Wine Menu. I very much enjoyed the traditional Greek selections for appetizers which were the grape leaf wrapped Dolmades served with a delicious Tzatziki sauce and the Kasseri Cheese served flambé style at table. Also, I enjoyed several of the Fried cheese portions as a side. The Bone-in Pork chop was cooked perfectly and adequately balanced with the delicious serving of garlic mashed potatoes and mixed vegetable medley. For dessert, I enjoyed a Vanilla Crème Brûlée that was fired perfectly to form a crisp and sweetened crust and garnished deliciously with blueberries and strawberries. To finish, the bartender and owner got creative on the spot with a Tiramisu Martini and let me try this as it is a newly developed bar drink. The atmosphere was eclectic and definitely a vibe to be enjoyed by anyone who appreciates delicious food that is reasonably priced and expertly prepared with an attention to detail that was unexpected, but a delight to experience. Live music, as I understand, is an added bonus for an enjoyable night. I must say, I will be bringing my girlfriend back to this perfect spot for a lovely evening away from the big city.

Milo is a charming and rustic-chic eatery located in Texas, offering seasonal Southern comfort food and a variety of cocktails, beer, and wine. The establishment is associated with the Southern Roots Brewery, which was founded in Waco in 2018. The brewery's story began with home brewing as a hobby and eventually led to the creation of a debut line-up of craft beers.
Stopped in for a quick bite with some friends! Loved the open concept atmosphere for seating. If you are someone who enjoys the patio regardless of the weather- there is a place for you here. The space is well covered and provides the perfect protection during the summer heat. Started with the cast iron cornbread- delicious! If you are someone who enjoys a little kick with their meal, the hot chicken tacos will be perfect for you! If you are looking for something sweet but relatively light- the French toast was very nice! Service was great. Bathrooms were clean. It was the perfect place to meet some friends!

This was my second visit to Milo and I love the farm to table mission and ambiance! Even though they advertise the brussels as crispy, ours were severely overcooked which made them unenjoyable. They also came out suspiciously fast but weren’t overly hot which made them feel like maybe they were old? The lemon chicken bowl was really good; the chicken was super juicy and all of the flavors worked well together. My friend ordered the egg white frittata and the portion was a bit small, so if you’re hungry you’d definitely need more than just that for your main. It’s weird it doesn’t come with a side of toast, potatoes, or something else.

I like what they are doing here in Waco. Clean and bright interior, fun atmosphere with 2010s alt rock playing in the background. Creative farm to table menu. Nashville hot chicken tacos were a hit in my book, amazing flavor, balanced. Servers seemed over booked. Granted it was busy. maybe they need more help? All in all I will be back to try out their other menu items!

Pretty good spot! They had half off appetizers and margaritas which allowed us to try s few things! We got the pimento cheese (very good and I enjoyed the homemade crackers), the brussel sprouts were also quite good. my husband got the burger and I ordered the steak lettuce wraps. The burger and fries were very fresh and flavorful. maybe it was supposed to be this way, but the steak for my entree was cooked so much it was crunchy.... The flavor was good, but I found that odd. Fresh ingredients and good service. A relaxed, bright and airy atmosphere! Some entrees seemed smaller, but the appetizers helped fill us up.

I ordered to go and was disappointed. I order The Salad which was described as little gem lettuce, sesame sunflower seed crunch and rustic croutons and Campari tomatoes. None of these are actually on what I received. I also had the crab hush puppies which were ok not much crab mostly cornbread and the corn ribs which were pretty good. Do better Milo!

A great breakfast stop in Waco. Food was fresh and tasty. The portions are a bit smaller but they are priced well for their size. The farmer’s daughter was a smash for our group. Cajun Craft is a laid-back eatery located near downtown Waco and Baylor University, offering a blend of Cajun classics and Vietnamese-inspired dishes. The restaurant's owner, Kimberly Bui, infuses her Vietnamese heritage into the menu to create a unique Viet-Cajun culinary experience. In addition to traditional Cajun fare like crawfish and fried chicken, the restaurant also serves authentic Vietnamese items such as pho noodles, fried spring rolls, and rice noodle bowls.
**⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Stars All Around!** From the moment we stepped through the doors of *Cajun Craft*, we were welcomed with the kind of warm, genuine southern hospitality that instantly makes you feel at home. The staff are incredibly friendly and charming, creating an inviting atmosphere that’s both clean and stylish—modern with just the right touch of country chic. Honestly, there's not a bad seat in the house. Now let’s talk about the food—because wow. Everything is made fresh and tastes just like a home-cooked meal in the absolute best way. You can truly tell each dish is made with care and love. I ordered the **shrimp basket**, and it did *not* disappoint. The shrimp were jumbo-sized, perfectly seasoned, and incredibly satisfying. The basket came with **the best fries I’ve ever had** and delicious hush puppies that were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. I also got a side of **red beans and rice**, which looked almost too pretty to eat and tasted just as amazing as it looked. My friend had the **fried catfish basket**, which came with the same golden fries and hush puppies, and he also ordered a side of **fried chicken**. Let me tell you—his first bite was movie-worthy. It was so crunchy and crispy you could *hear* the perfection. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and the consistency across all the dishes really shows how much pride they take in their cooking. But what really sets Cajun Craft apart is the **customer service**. The entire staff was attentive and kind, and one sweet employee even gifted my 1-year-old a little pack of toy cars—completely unexpected, but incredibly thoughtful. If you haven’t tried this place yet, do yourself a favor and go. I’m officially hooked and can honestly say *Cajun Craft* is now the only place I want to buy my seafood from.

The place doesn't look like much from the outside, but surprisingly nice inside and has a welcoming atmosphere. I love the outdoor seating option and the food looks great. My only complaint would be the pricing, but then, who knows what it's costing them to operate in today's market. I ordered the seafood platter fish shrimp & oysters( I requested to substitute the oysters, so the doubled the shrimp) with 2 sides of red beans and rice. I almost left without looking, I'm glad I didn't. I had to order an extra piece of fish ($5) and cocktail/tarter sauce.(,50¢ each) I came in with 40.00 and I'm leaving with $2.85. this seems a bit high for the portions given. Aside from this , I think it's a great place.

This was some of the best chicken I have ever had. Out of the four states I’ve lived in the 10 I have visited, this was the most tender and juiciest ever! The red beans and rice was so delicious and the shrimp po boy was delicious! I plan to bring my family next time they visit us!

Red beans and rice was excellent with okra just right to season. Catfish was fresh and beautiful golden crust. Some of the best coleslaw I have had in a long time, glad I added it for $1. Great food and nice vibe. Attentive service from staff and we even got to ask the cook about the dishes. If in Waco you need to stop. Weekly specials as well just in case that's a plus for you.

The Catch offers delicious seafood dishes, including grilled shrimp and gumbo shrimp. They also have fried catfish on the menu, and their patio is a great place to enjoy a beer and some seafood.
I along with a group recently dined in at The Catch for the first time and couldn't have been happier. The employees were friendly and the dining area both indoor and outdoor were clean. I ordered a shrimp, catfish, and chicken tenders basket. My order was hot, accurate and the seafood was large in size and very tasty (pricing was very reasonable as well). When in the Waco area again I'll surely stop by on my next visit. Cheers to the staff!

I love the catch! They have good sized shrimp and crab legs. My favorite is the hush puppies. The customer service is good. I really like the complimentary margaritas and the outside patio area. It's located on a main road so you can't miss it. The only thing I really dislike is that the butter tends to solidify of you don't eat fast. If it does, they'll give you another one with no problems. Also, the last time I went the restroom could've been a little cleaner. Other than that I've had a really good experience with them.

My coworker and I went here to grab some lunch. I was super excited to try this place! I was not expecting what I walked into. Outside they had an advertisement for Lunch special, there is only a catfish lunch special, nothing else. You order your food then You get your drink and you choose where you sit. You Refill Your Own Drink. They deliver your food and they did not check on us, see if we needed or wanted anything else or if the food was good. I was expecting a sit down, wait on me type of restaurant. I got the white fish and shrimp and a drink, it was $15 and I only got two shrimp. My coworker got the shrimp tacos and she absolutely loved them. (Pictures Attached) There is a 90% chance I will not return to this place.

I was very disappointed in this place. My mother and I along with my husband ate here about 2 weeks ago. The fish was very greasy and the fries and hush puppies were cold. There were no napkins at the table and it took us forever to get the attention of someone to get us clean tableware. The food and service was defenently not worth the money we paid.

The Catch- I heard that this placed offered free Margaritas so I just had to come here & try it. Helpful Tip: DO NOT FORGET YOUR ID! The Margaritas were awesome, I drank two, for free! The restaurant was really cool, sea themed, I love it! The seafood was great, Tilapia, Shrimp, Catfish, Chicken Tenders, French Fries, White Rice, Hushpuppies, these were all great picks. Everything was well cooked & taste delicious!!The prices aren’t to bad & the servings are well sized. The waiter was very nice & very attentive! The also have restrooms here & they were clean. I do recommend this place, really yummy food, & a great evening with the family! 👏

Goods sized menu and nominal portions. The exterior facade is a bit more upscale than the interior. The dining space has about a dozen tables and a self serve soft drink station. The food is as good as should be expected for its location. I had the catfish and some jalapeno chips. The chips were cut thick and while the batter was crisp, th jalapeno inside was quite soft. The catfish fillets were flakey and seasoned, not unlike the catfish you could get from any number of similar eateries. Not great, but not bad. The location seems to be largely devoted to the gig delivery service model and nd aren't suited for regular customers sitting and eating in their dining space.

Got oyster plate and oyster fish combo…oysters were not fried well!!! Fish tastes like it was fried in old grease. Fried jalapeños were pretty good. Would not recommend. Way too much batter on oysters. Hush puppies were good. Top on red beans was messy. Super disappointed. A waste of $50 and a stomach ache Red beans and rice tasted old..no flavor…kind of tangy…weird Plastic ware just thrown in the bag…it’s 2022…can I get wrapped to go silverware

For a seafood place it's a disgrace if their gonna serve seafood they should stick to boiled only because if you're a chef and you cant even properly grill shrimp you need a different profession! I wasted over $70 on food that wasnt edible seasoning is not there frys were dry shrimp was burnt. Barely ate the catfish and the crawfish?! If you're gonna fry something so small at least think about the time it takes for it to cook before it's over cooked rubber food is not appealing or edible. Will be the last time my family eats here and will make sure to tell the family about yall. :)

If you're on the hunt for a laid-back dining experience that celebrates the flavors of the sea, look no further than Catfish King. This unpretentious eatery specializes in hearty seafood dishes, with catfish taking center stage. Located at 1201 South Valley Mills Drive in Waco, Texas, this restaurant chain offers a menu filled with delicious options like their famous hush puppies and signature catfish sandwich.
Food was good and so was the service, the catfish was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Sides were not bad but we would have preferred different options

**Catfish King: A Hearty Meal with Ample Portions** Catfish King offers a truly generous dining experience, with massive portions that will surely satisfy even the hungriest diners. I recently tried the Cajun catfish and was impressed by the colossal plate of food that arrived at my table. The catfish itself was expertly fried, with a crispy exterior and tender interior. The Cajun seasoning added a subtle kick, enhancing the natural flavor of the fish. However, it could have benefited from a slightly more intense seasoning to truly elevate the taste. Despite the mild flavor, the sheer volume of food made up for any lack of intensity. The catfish was accompanied by a staggering array of sides, including coleslaw, fries, hush puppies, and beans. Each side was well-prepared and complemented the main dish nicely. Overall, Catfish King is a great option for those seeking a hearty and affordable meal. With ample portions, a wide selection of sides, and efficient service, it's a perfect choice for casual dining. While the Cajun catfish could use a bit more flavor, the overall experience is recommended.

Walking into Catfish King on South Valley Mills in Waco, I was met with a scene straight out of a Texas roadside diner playbook—rustic wooden walls, dim lighting, and an atmosphere that leaned more toward functional than inviting. The counter greeted me first, along with an employee who, when asked how his day was going, responded with, “It’s tolerable.” Not great, not bad—just tolerable. That set the tone for what was to come. The Food: A Catch That’s Been Sitting Too Long I ordered the Special Catch Cajun, which came with four fillets of catfish, coleslaw (which I opted out of), Cajun beans, fries, hush puppies (or cusp puppies, as the menu amusingly listed them), and pickled relish. Instead of coleslaw, I went for double beans and rice, which turned out to be the best decision of the meal. Catfish: The Lamp’s Unforgiving Embrace The catfish arrived at my table quickly—too quickly. That’s always a telltale sign. Freshly fried fish takes a few extra minutes, but this was clearly pre-cooked and held under a heat lamp, its outer crust already succumbing to time. It lacked that crisp bite that a proper cornmeal batter should have. Inside, the fish wasn’t tender and flaky but rather… something else. You know that texture when fish has just been sitting too long? Yeah, that. Fries & Hush Puppies: Mere Afterthoughts The fries—uninspired, limp, and pale—relied entirely on salt, pepper, and ketchup to be anything beyond filler. They had that “we don’t season these because condiments exist” energy. As for the hush puppies? Dense. Heavy. They’re not there to be enjoyed; they’re there to take up space. The kind of hush puppies that make you wish you’d saved room for literally anything else. Pickled Relish: A Lonely, Neglected Sidekick The pickled relish? An afterthought. I couldn’t figure out why it was even included in the meal. It didn’t complement the fish, nor did it have a reason to be on the plate. It felt like it was placed there out of habit rather than culinary intention. Beans and Rice: The Unsuspecting Star of the Show If anything deserves praise, it’s the beans and rice. Spiced just enough to be interesting, they provided the only real comfort in the meal. The heat, the texture, the seasoning—it was the one thing that didn’t feel rushed or neglected. If I were to come back, it would be for these alone. The Atmosphere: A Job, Not a Passion Catfish King doesn’t hum with the energy of a place that loves what it does. The employees were present but not engaged—there to do their job, but not to make anyone’s day better. And I get it, not every place needs to be a vibrant, high-energy eatery. But this was the kind of place where you felt like you were interrupting rather than being welcomed. Final Verdict: 3.5 Stars (Mostly for the Beans and Rice) Would I come back? Maybe—for the beans and rice. But for catfish? Not unless it’s guaranteed fresh. If you’re going to call yourself Catfish King, the fish should be the highlight, not the disappointment. Here, it was just tolerable—and maybe that’s the best way to sum up the whole experience.

Really unassuming place...but then again, 85% of Waco is. However look beyond the less than ideal curb appeal and step inside...more of the same but the staff is friendly and the food is good. This chain offers moderately priced dishes with good portions. I don't claim to be the fish fry taste expert but these are good. The batter could use more flavor to bring out the texture of the catfish but that's the fun of dipping it in tarter sauce I reckon. No complaints. You want decor and whimsical birthday song and dance? Go to Red Lobster. You want good catfish basket? Check this place out
Ronnie H — Google review
Went there for the first time and the food was really good. Got the catfish dinner plate and basket. Catfish was tasty. Fries were decent. Coleslaw and beans were mid. Hush puppies were forgettable. The prices are great for what you get. I recommend for the catfish alone.

I went through the drive through window and I told them I wanted 2 senior chicken fried steak’s, when I got home they were fish plates, so I called them and they asked me what the recipe said and it said catfish but I don’t look at my recipe when I order, the manager was very rude,

I felt like we got a really good value for our money. We had a kids meal and a family meal (3 people). The fish and chicken were very good, and we all left full. The sides were good (slaw and beans), and the hush puppies were great! Decor was a bit dated, but it fit the nautical theme. Overall, it was a relaxed place to have a meal, and I would eat there again next time we're in town.

The whole family absolutely loves this place!!! They have amazing food! The only "complaints" that we had was that the food was so fresh it was hot, I didn't have enough room to eat all of my plate, and we don't have this restaurant where we live. Audrey, the waitress is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return!

I tried the fried chicken sandwich and it was scrumptious! I loved the thin breading, and that the chicken was thin also. Cooked to perfection, juicy, and well-seasoned. The fries are great too and have a nice seasoning as well. Portions are generous here, you'll need a to-go box!. Great food!

This restaurant and gathering place hosts events and cultural outings throughout the year, adding an extra layer of community nourishment.
I had eaten rather late yesterday (just before closing) but that took nothing away from the attention I received at the Huaco Mexican Eatery. The food was meticulously curated, the chef was cheerful and sweet and it was completely delicious. A unique take on your everyday tacos we seem to get here in Texas and the churros are next level.

We ate at Huaco. I spotted some locations around town, but we eat plenty of Mexican food so I wasnt planning to check it out. But in here, we saw some pics of the food at their food counter and it just looked very appetizing so we tried it. It tasted so good! It was more foodie than traditional, but it was very delicious. The food court had a lot of options - several Asian options, pizza, Caribbean, and burgers.

First time at Union Hall and our first stop was at Huaco eatery. Man what can I say, the food was incredible. Real authentic Mexican food! We tried the chips and queso with beef, pozole verde, torta de tinga and a kids chicken quesadilla. Everything was deliciously made, and the churro dessert was amazing!!!! Highly recommend trying this place out! Not only was the food delicious ,but the customer service was great from Alex and the Chef Sebastian!

Maria Mezcaleria offers a unique dining experience with its warm house salsa and flavorful black bean salsa. The queso blanco, though a bit thin, is a favorite among patrons. The tostaditas topped with chicken tinga are messy but delicious. Visitors praise the attentive service and knowledge of the staff, particularly mentioning servers Oscar and Alma C. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, making it a fantastic place for enjoying fresh, well-made food with just the right level of spice.
My husband and I had already been to another happy hour spot, but we decided to pop in here before dinner and immediately wished we had just made this our only stop of the night. We ordered the mezcal flight and ended up chatting with the bartenders about the ones we loved on our recent trip to Mexico City. They went out of their way to match us with brands we’d like and made the whole experience so fun. Everyone was warm and welcoming, which made us want to stay even longer. Our only regret is not having time to try the food. If you are into mezcal, this place is a must.
Brooke S — Google review
Visit on 7/11 We were visiting from out of town and were recommended this place, so we were looking forward to our experience. That said, I believe this restaurant may be better suited for smaller parties—perhaps four or fewer—based on our visit as a group of ten. When we arrived, the hostess seemed visibly irritated when we mentioned our party size, even though we were polite and patient. Once we were seated, it took quite a while for our server to greet us and take our drink orders. Unfortunately, the service throughout the meal continued to be slow and inattentive. The server appeared overwhelmed and seemed frustrated when we made standard requests such as refills or additional items. At times, she expressed that she was too busy and had other tables to attend to, which made us feel like an inconvenience rather than welcomed guests. We understand that large parties can be challenging, especially during busy hours, but a little more communication or a heads-up would have helped us adjust our expectations. If staff are feeling overwhelmed, it might be helpful for management to reassess how tables are assigned, particularly for servers who may be struggling to keep up. We hope this feedback is helpful and contributes to a better experience for future guests. SERVER WAS CELESTE

We always enjoy eating here. Food is great, parking is tough for husband who is handicap and has to walk from the paid parking behind the hippodrome or when there is event traffic, you have to park even further away. The staff is small so be patient, sometimes it takes a minute to get to you. We love the salsa and black beans with delicious chips. My husband had the Parillada and I enjoyed the Steak Aguachile for the first time and really liked the flavor. It doesn't not come with rice and beans but that was ok for lower carbs. I normally enjoy the Carnitas as well. Overall, we still enjoyed our meal and happy hour drinks from 3-6 pm

Great atmosphere and food. The hostess seemed to be having a bad day and lacked energy. Once seated it took more than 20 before we saw the waitress for the drink order. It was not busy, so maybe it an oversight. Regardless, we were not in a hurry and everything was great after the bad start. I had huevos divorciados for brunch. The picture doesn’t look great, but it was very good. Even the side of beans was worth eating. One day I will come back for some mezcal.

We were looking for a quick bite to eat before the concert. Served with margaritas and water. Snacking on the free chips with a roasted salsa and bean salsa as well. The guys decided upon enchiladas while I was looking for a good street taco 🌮. The server was really great and attentive. The bathrooms lead to hallway that resembles a movie theater leaving us with questions? I’d go back again. Priced decently.

Nestled within the Cambria Hotel Waco University Riverfront, The BLVD Steakhouse offers a delightful culinary experience that showcases the rich flavors of Central Texas without needing to venture far. This on-site gem is perfect for both locals and visitors alike, featuring a diverse menu that includes everything from juicy steaks to flavorful shrimp linguini. Guests can also enjoy an impressive selection of local craft beers, wines, and specialty cocktails at the spacious bar, which even boasts live piano music for added ambiance.
BLVD delivered a truly memorable dining experience. The food was outstanding—every dish bursting with flavor, clearly crafted with quality ingredients and culinary care. The seasoning was spot-on, and the textures were perfectly balanced. From appetizers to entrees, the plates arrived looking absolutely beautiful—garnished just right and presented with restaurant-level elegance that made us pause for pictures before diving in. The atmosphere was just as impressive. Inside, the space feels wide open and thoughtfully designed, with modern touches and a relaxed, upscale vibe. Outdoors, seating by the pools created a breezy, resort-like feel. It’s an ideal setting for slow sips and good conversation. However, be prepared for a slow pace when it comes to service. While the staff was friendly and welcoming, the wait between seating, ordering, and receiving food was longer than expected. This isn’t the place for a quick bite—but if you’re looking to unwind, linger, and enjoy great company, BLVD fits the bill beautifully. Would definitely recommend for date nights, celebrations, or when you just want to treat yourself to great food and good vibes—with no rush.

There were 4 of us we shared 2 18 oz ribeyes one with brocolltini and Baked Potato the other with asparagus and baked potato. Steaks perfectly cooked though 1 was mostly fat. 1 potato served with everything on it the 2nd with everything on the side. We were charged an extra $6.00 each to share, but they did not split up the dishes for us. Our server Sterling was nice, but again if we are being charged extra to split a meal at least split it for us.

The upscale versions of traditional Mexican fare set it apart from the usual Tex-Mex restaurants, providing a more sophisticated and flavorful experience. We arrived late afternoon on a Saturday. There was plenty of parking available. The restaurant was maybe half full, and our party of two was seated immediately. Our friendly waitress quickly arrived to take our drink orders. We ordered a cocktail and a beer. We also received a small basket of chips and two bowls of salsa. The chips and salsa were ok, but neither stood out. She later came back to take our food order and also apologized for the drinks not having been served yet, saying the bar was behind. We thought that to be odd, since the place wasn't too busy. My wife ordered the Del Mar Enchalada Plate. I ordered the Tres Traditional (a three item combination plate) and asked whether the enchalada was cheese or beef. She clarified it was cheese, and I asked if I could upgrade to a beef enchalada. She said they didn't allow substitutions. My wife then asked if I could get a beef enchalada on the side, and she replied that they didn't serve al a carte items. So, I chose not to have anything to eat. I also canceled my cocktail, since it had not arrived yet. My wife's food arrived shortly thereafter. She said her Del Mar plate was good. This was my first time for Jeorge's, and I was looking forward to it, as we have been regular customers of the two George's restaurants for over 20 years. I was quite disappointed that you can't get a simple beef enchalada on a Mexican combination plate. There are too many Mexican food restaurants in town where you can get better menu options, to include a beef enchalada. It wasn't until after we left that my wife told me her group of friends had been gere a few months earlier and had awful service. So, I suspect this will be my one and only time at Jeorge's.

The place is nicely decorated, and the food is good. The chips and salsas made a good first impression. We got the Tres Amigos Dip Board as an appetizer, with good queso blanco and avocado ranch dips, but our favorite was the black bean dip. For our mains, we got the cheese enchiladas and the tacos al carbon. Both were good, with a special mention of the chili con carne on the enchiladas, which had a really rich flavor. The service was great, and Honorio took good care of us. Overall, it's a nice, slightly upscale place for tasty Tex-Mex food.

Me and my wife got the the Uzi platter at a mild spice. Which was not spicy at all. (Side note I got a sweet tea and it was soooo sweet I absolutely loved it but that second glass WAS NOT.) The seasoning was great over all but the crawfish was soggy and the sausages they put in that platter aren't that tasty. The service is ok but I'm sure that because it's a brand new spot. Lastly we played 84$ which we didn't expect to pay that much anddddddd one more thing THE PRICES ARE NOT ON THE MENU

Poor Services the most nasty 🤮 unreal over priced seafood I ever tasted they use all the wrong seasonings the nastiest butter dipping sauce they need some real Louisiana people to whip up their spices because these Chinese people have no idea what they’re doing I don’t see how they are open won’t be for long with that nasty food … I try all of their sauces they were very salty just taste like garlic sugar and salt trust me …. They need to go look up seafood seasonings and try something new because that’s not it

Krab Kingz is the bomb dot com!!! The food is delicious and well-seasoned. My kiddos and I enjoyed it. The guy working today was super helpful w/excellent customer service. Pleasantly surprised for my first time trying this place :) My kiddos give it a thumbs up!

The manager there is a manager who does not manage. He lied to his dispatch about me eating food out of a bad order I did not eat. He was also very rude. If you want good service DO NOT GO HERE. only thing good there is the seasoning. Your food will be OVERCOOKED. But then again it is on a food truck. This is one black owned business I will NEVER support again

Home goods store
Magnolia Market is a must-visit destination in Waco, known for its chic home design and garden supply center. It's the brainchild of HGTV's Fixer Upper stars Chip and Joanna Gaines. The market offers an array of activities for families, including browsing shops for farmhouse finds and gardening gear, indulging in delicious cupcakes from Silos Baking Co., and sipping on coffee from Magnolia Press.
It was a really cool place with a lot of stores to choose from. I think on the weekends it definitely would be better because the food trucks would be open although they were a couple open today but there’s a lot of activities, games with your family. A lot of history, I really enjoyed it. I WOULD RECOMMEND
Cindy L — Google review
A beautifully maintained and well-designed area featuring a great selection of interesting shops and diverse dining options. The entire premises are exceptionally clean and inviting, with plenty of attractive photo opportunities that make the visit even more enjoyable.
Ch Z — Google review
Magnolia Market is an experience, not just a store. From the moment you walk in, you can tell how much thought and heart went into every detail — from the curated home decor to the layout of the entire space. It’s beautifully designed, clean, and full of inspiration for every kind of home style. The grounds are just as impressive as the market itself. There’s plenty of open space to relax, sit with a drink from Magnolia Press, or enjoy something tasty from the food trucks. It’s super family-friendly, with lawn games and places for kids to run around while adults shop or unwind. Yes, it can get a little crowded, especially on weekends, but the staff keeps things running smoothly and the vibe stays warm and welcoming. If you're a fan of Fixer Upper or just love great design, it’s definitely worth the trip. Magnolia Market lives up to the hype.
The G — Google review
The perfect place to visit as a family. There were tons of cute shops that my wife and daughters loved and plenty of outdoor space and games to keep the rest of us entertained while they shopped. Clean bathrooms and lots of good food trucks too!
David I — Google review
Great place to explore and have some food. Classy and diverse range of goods for sale and it didn't have a 'tourist trap' vibe which was nice. We stopped in for a browse and some lunch on our way from Austin to Dallas. We're from Australia and we were on a vacation in TX. Some people in Austin suggested Waco was 'boring' and 'only a college town'. They were wrong. (They were also probably from Southern CA.) Waco was great and next time we're going to stay there for a few days for sure. Everybody was so nice - and it's beautiful!
MS & — Google review
Upon stepping in, the market was very well decorated and lively. However the prices are genuinely insane. A copper scooper the size of your hand will cost 50$, a single icecream scooper costs 18$, and its basically the same for every other item in the store. The bathrooms are pretty nice though, there’s an air freshener, two trashcans, and a diaper changing bed.
Timefor W — Google review
For visitors to Waco, Magnolia Market is an absolute must-see, boasting an atmosphere that perfectly complements its varied shopping and dining options, not to mention spotless restroom facilities. The overall experience was truly exceptional.

Buffet restaurant
If you're on the hunt for a delightful dining experience in Waco, Texas, look no further than Ocean Buffet. This charming spot offers an impressive array of dishes that cater to various tastes, including sushi, Mongolian cuisine, and seafood. Recently visited after their dinner buffet was set up and found the food to be surprisingly better than before the pandemic. The coconut shrimp is a must-try; it’s simply divine!
I love the variety of food I get here whenever I visit. I tend to get the same few foods and they always have a good supply of them hot and ready to eat. Our server/waiter was attentive and never let my drink run out and took away dishes almost as soon as I was finished, leaving our table always clean and free of trash and excess dishes. I always leave full and content with my food. This is one of my favorite sit-down restaurants in Waco.
Taran — Google review
An aging spacious Chinese buffet with no frills or thrills and ordinary cuisine. No sushi. There are two types of Asian buffets, low tier fried greasy comfort Chinese foods or high tier selections typically with sushi and raw seafood; this is the former. Occasionally you find a gem where you get offered high tier selections at low tier prices but this place offers nothing special. There are about 85 different items and most are similar in flavor: fried, sweet, and salty. The best 5 star items were buffalo wings, roast chicken, broccoli beef, and black pepper chicken. 4 star items include sesame and general tzos chicken. All seafood was 3-4, depending on your preferences. Do not get the egg roll, 1/5. There are snow crabs on Friday dinner only, which I missed. All in all, an average option for starving people and parties for your distant nephew or neice. Flavor 3/5 Service 4/5 - they clear plates frequently Atmosphere 3/5 Value 3/5 (no high ticket items, snow crab legs on Friday dinner only)
Andrew K — Google review
Nice place, better to go during rush hour though, this was my first time there in slow hours and some of the food was not fresh, also every time I go there it's like they watch you, and after going up 4 times or more it's like they try rushing you out the door ..
Jose F — Google review
My family of five stopped by for a quick meal. The dish was flavorless and stale. I couldn't find a single dish with flavor. The staff was friendly. My kids had fun challenging one another to try the sushi. Following our meals here, we all experienced digestive problems. Will won't be returning any time soon.
Maria R — Google review
For a buffet it tastes good on a properly managed day and we don’t generally do any buffets due to crowds and cleanliness. However, due to the bathroom hygiene gets a 1 star at best. For a buffet or restaurant the bathrooms should be kept up consistently to maintain proper hygiene standards and influence proper hygiene practices in others. Having leaking toilets, clogged toilets and trash throughout the stalls individually and on the sink during the lunch hour is inexcusable and poor management. Potentially leading to cross contamination within the buffet area.
Hi Y — Google review
We chose this place randomly. It was our first time coming here. The food wasn't bad, but could be better. The hibachi grill section has instructions, but I had a question. There was no one there for me to ask. I just wanted to be sure if I was leaving my plate in the correct spot. The man finally retuned and just nodded. I just feel the communication was lacking. My sister and her kids love crabs. Their complaint is the crabs are served cold and they will not heat them up. Also, we've never been to a Chinese buffet with no ice cream. That was odd. They had desserts, but they were mediocre. The rice noodles didn't taste the best and I didn't like the spring rolls. Everyone's experience will be different; you'd have to try it for yourself.

Fridays Seafood and More LLC is a popular spot in Waco, Texas, offering a casual dining experience with a focus on Cajun-style seafood. The restaurant features picnic-style tables and allows customers to leave their mark by signing the walls. Known for its Shrimp PoBoy made with fresh shrimp and special sauce, the menu also includes catfish, crawfish, alligator, jambalaya, gumbo, and etouffe.
The best REAL Cajun food you can get in the area!! It’s family owned and the food is the absolute best! The flavors are real authentic Cajun. We ordered crawfish in JANUARY and they were small obviously but oh soooo good! We also had catfish which I didn’t get a picture of and it was so good crispy and fresh there cocktail sauce was 🤌🏼 we ordered dessert to go and you can see the serving HUGE serving size. If you like Cajun and haven’t been here you are missing out!! This place is worth the drive from miles away!! Not to mention how hospitable and kind the workers/owners are please stop by and put them on the map!!! P.s. they gave us a sample of the Étouffée and that alone will have us running back best I have ever had and I have tasted a lot even from Louisiana and this is THE BEST!!
Loryn B — Google review
Best hospitality hands down, service is helpful and courteous. Food is delicious good flavor moist. Not over cooked. Not excessively oily. Catfish was on point, fried oysters are huge and plump, shrimp are big, crab cake good flavor, gar steak is very flavorful. Crawfish Etouffee was very good. Thank you for the sample! Most definitely a hidden gem in Waco don't let the outside fool you! Go in and try their food! Will definitely be returning. Music is good too!

Fabulous food and the staff is friendly and attentive. Wonderful atmosphere with creole music playing. It's Cajun flavor but not hot and spicy. Flavor that leaves your mouth happy and wanting more. Desserts looked tasty but we were too full to try them. Locally owned by a vet and his beautiful wife. Will definitely be back!

Went to Waco for family getaway three years ago. This place was suggested to us by a tour guide. Could not have gone better. The ambiance, the staff, the food...all with so much love and warmth. I am not sure if this is family run, I couldn't tell the difference. I am so grateful that my immediate and extended family got to meet everyone here and eat here as well. Every item we ordered was delicious and filling. As on older gentlemen, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. Respectfully, Joseph Flores.

When I was a kid we had a house in Port Aransas. One of our favorite fish to eat was whiting. The last time I ate whiting was at about 18 to 20 years of age. I’m 65 now. My wife wanted fish for lunch today so we went to Friday’s. We have been a customer for a while. But today we had a really great treat when we found out they had fried whiting. All I can say is off the chain! We were both stuffed when we left, ( I had a piece of coconut cake that was to die for). Awesome food! And a taste I had not experienced in over 45 years. These folks are the real deal! I can’t wait to go back and have some of that delicious fish again! From Debbie and I Thank you so much! Randy Wimberley Waco Texas

Restaurant
El MAR SEAFOOD GRILL AND BAR offers massive portions at great prices and provides fantastic service. The only downside is the slow service, but the food and atmosphere make up for it. The restaurant has a nice decor and serves delicious non-seafood options like fajitas. The seafood choices are incredible, and the staff provides amazing service. Despite being a bit quiet, this place is worth trying due to its great food, fresh ingredients, and colorful theme.
Ceviche was great! And got churos for my birthday. Very popular Mexican seafood restaurant! Yummy!

Everything i have had here has been good. I mainly go for the spicy Pulpo and the seafood device. Only issues have been getting salsa that is spicy enough.
Jeff ( — Google review
The only bad thing about this place is the SLOW service. You will wait 20 minutes to order a drink, 20 more minutes to order your food, food comes quick, waitress comes by 3 minutes later and then you will never see her ever again. The food and atmosphere were great!! They need to hire more wait staff, or better wait staff, or both. We almost walked out before even ordering and almost forced us to dine and dash because she never came back!

Very disappointed we normally dine in but this time got carry out never again !! Got the oysters with the ceviche on top one plate looked good on the second one not so good also got half dozen one plate only had 5 like are you kidding me not coming back anytime soon.. I called back the person I spoke with didn’t offered to fixed the plate or refund worts service ever ..

Food was delicious. Salmon was juicy and with a nice crisp. Salmon was plump and flavourful.

If you want to come eat at a very loud place come here 😁 this is definitely your spot 😂 not only did we wait 1hr to be seated but we really wanted to try the ceviche our co-workers spoke about and the chicharon fish. It was very loud, the live music was nice. Being ignored by your waiter was horrible. I do not know if that is typical here on a Friday afternoon but it was super crowded. The food was okay not what I expected for a restaurant that serves fresh sea food? I was about disappointed with the food and service, and when you ask for chips and salsa they give you some tostada's in a zippy bag that have been used over and over again. But definitely do not come on Friday afternoon unless you want to be ignored, wait over an hour to sit and like loud music.
Imelda L — Google review
YOU have to go! It’s the cutest little spot with amazing food. The Seafood plates is to die for. IT WAS FIRE!! The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. Are server Diana was amazing & Andy was so nice as well ! They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience!!
Lindsay L — Google review
Great place, nice decor inside and the food is pretty great. Even though they are a sea food place they do have several options without sea food (like fajitas, and they are delicious). The seafood choices are incredible and really really good. They do serve alcohol but only limited to beer (bottle) and frozen margaritas, at least for now they are missing a bartender. The prices are a bit high but considering that everything is expensive now days and that they serve sea food they are not that bad.

Shaan Southern Eatery is a delightful destination for anyone craving authentic Southern cuisine. This eatery prides itself on serving up generous portions of flavorful dishes at prices that won't break the bank. Diners rave about the freshness and quality of their meals, from perfectly grilled fish to crispy fried chicken, all complemented by sides like coleslaw and fries. The wings are particularly noteworthy, with many guests unable to resist ordering extra even after they've filled up!
I ordered a fish plate with the fried green tomato appetizer. The food was hot and seasoned really well. It's the first time I've had fried green tomatoes that I enjoyed. Portions are large and the prices are good.

Fish, shrimp and Sandwiches were great. Fried Pickles and Fried Green Tomatoes, sorrry need to change your oil. Pickles were over cooked. Could not taste any pickle flavor and way too much salt. Same with tomatoes. Thank you soo much Andrea for calling me, and addressing my review. I will definitely revisit. Again you’re food was great.

Shaan/Sam's Eatery is always delicious. I tried the grilled fish for the first time today and can honestly say it's as good as the fried. I ate so fast that I forgot to take a pic. However we saw some amazing food delivered to another table. Found out it was their wings. We were already full but got 3 to go. They are huge and the tiny bite I took was delicious. The food is always cooked fresh and is always excellent. Prices can't be beat anywhere. Huge portions.

Red Herring Restaurant & Bar in Waco has quickly become a popular spot, offering flawless service and delicious cuisine. The squid ink pasta is a must-try, bursting with flavor, and the curated cocktail menu perfectly complements the meal. The ambiance is unique with a stunning piano in the lounge area. It's an upscale and trendy spot that fills a void in Waco's dining scene. With its modern 70s aesthetic, it's great for family dinners, celebrations, or classy dates.
Amazing solo dine-in experience at Red Herring. The service and the foods are top notch. I had Keith as my server, and he was really friendly (and he also recommended really good food on the menu). Definitely come back for my next trip to Waco. P/S: Really sorry for the confusion when I was ordering by the way. You guys are amazing💯

If you are into plants (like me) they have so many real plants all throughout the restaurant. The only downside was it wasn’t very cool inside so we were getting warm towards the end of our meal after a few drinks.

The delicious food, creative bar menu, rooftop views and super cool vibe and decor make it a must do in Waco. Super close to Baylor University and the perfect place for a date night or special event. The banquet space is stunning!

This place brings something different to Waco which I love. Their style of serving smaller portions meant to be shared around the table is also great. It’s something very common in other countries. The service was top notch. Some of the best I’ve seen in a while. I highly recommend the focaccia and the crispy potatoes. They have a lot of vegetarian options, and there’s really something for everyone here without the menu being too overwhelming. I liked the ambience, but did feel like it was a little overly dark. Overall nice good addition to Waco’s food scene.
Taylor T — Google review
If you’re considering dining here, be prepared for small portion sizes—yes, even the medium and large plates lean on the modest side. A good way to tell what size you're working with is to glance at the plates arriving at nearby tables before you order. There was some confusion at the start: bread and Caesar salads were brought to our table, and we initially assumed they were complimentary. Turns out, both belonged to the table next to us. It wasn’t our server’s fault, as different staff members deliver the food, but it was a little awkward. Now, on to the food: we ordered the dressed oysters, pork belly skewers, and crab cake. All three were delicious—flavorful, well-prepared, and nicely presented. Again though, portions were on the smaller side. The dress code is best described as business casual. While we saw a few diners in shorts and flip-flops, most were dressed a bit more upscale. I wore distressed (holely) capri jeans with wedge sandals and still felt slightly underdressed. Reservations are a good idea, though you can hang out at the bar while waiting for a table. The atmosphere is stylish yet welcoming, and the staff was friendly and professional throughout our visit. This is a Mediterranean-inspired menu with prices ranging from $9 to $45. Overall, it was a great experience with high-quality food and service—just don’t expect to leave full unless you’re ordering multiple dishes.
Veronica M — Google review
Great food, smaller portion sizes, very much a “order lots of appetizers as your meal” type of place. Great ambience and wait staff! Neat place!

The restaurant Sergio's Mexican Food Truck is a great place to go for authentic mexican food. Everything on their menu is made with fresh ingredients and they always have delicious specials going. They're located near the Baylor campus, so it's perfect if you're looking for a quick bite to eat or if you're in the area studying.
Walked up to the window and got an order for 5 in less than 15 minutes. Delicious and huge portions of burritos that were fully customizable. They had birria as a special and we tried it with corn tortillas, but I think the flour ones for the quesadilla and burrito were even better.

I went to BU and have been going to this food truck since 2012, been here numerous times as a college student, and keep coming back even after graduation. Their burritos are fresh, large, great quality of meat and veggies, and always served piping hot. Their tortilla is soft and flaky, holds all the ingredients really well, and never gets soggy. The portion sizes big and totally worth your money. One of my fav places in Waco! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! The only downside is they are open for limited hours and days, so def check before going.

When you're craving an authentic breakfast taco...THIS is it! 10/10 The flour tortillas are crispy and buttery and downright delicious. I love when bacon is chopped up and crispy (not the a whole long sloppy piece)

Yes! 👏🏽 get some quesadillas, burritos, and tacos. No, not just one of those items… all of them! I haven’t had bad choice from here yet. I usually order one of each since I’m from out of town. I highly recommend and the employees who work there are very kind! They speak English and Spanish and take card and cash. So there isn’t any excuses to enjoy delicious Mexican food! It’s a little food truck that you can’t miss right in front of Dichotomy coffee shop. Plenty of parking and you can probably even eat there since there is one or two benches near by. Or you can be like me and go to lovers leap and have a picnic ! Enjoy!🌮🌯🌮🌯
