The Victoria Inn Airport Hotel is a great choice for travellers looking for a relaxed and comfortable stay. With free WiFi, a restaurant and fitness centre on site, this hotel is perfect for those travelling for business or pleasure.
Very clean. Fun water park! Free airport shuttle. Nice restaurant and pub. Soooo friendly staff everywhere. Food and beverage manager is a gem. She quizzes her staff and prizes them with candy. Keep cheerleading your staff! Spacious room. HUGE TV. Hot tub was excellent, hot and Jets very strong! I could have walked to the airport. Quiet room also.

I stayed in this hotel for one night. We had pet friendly room and beds were good ac was working . Wife notices floor was dirty. I noticed washroom was not that clean and flush was not working properly. We had room on the main floor and corridor has weird smell. They should work on that. Other than that it was secure place lots of security guys walking around that way your vehicle s are safe .

I asked for an accessible room because I have mobility issues. While they did give me a room with a walk in shower, it was as far as possible from the desk. I could barely get there. Also when I arrived I asked for assistance with my luggage and the front desk clerk pointed to the luggage carts and told me to help myself. (As I was doing that a porter saw me and offered to help. He was excellent. The front desk stuff, not so much) I have no quibble with the room. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and there were a variety of pillows so I was able to find something to sleep on.

I had the worst time I’ve ever experienced at a hotel all because of bad reception and the lack of communication which resulted from the incompetence of the Victoria Inn Centre at Winnipeg. For starters, when I tried to check in, I had checked in and told them I had 2 nights reserved. I did the safety deposit for what I thought was the entirety of my 2 nights(had to do security deposit twice eventually) and the receptionist said,” you’re good”. I figured that I would be fine to stay in that one hotel room given to me since we asked if it was possible to make those separate nights all in one room. This was only the beginning of the time consuming, tedious, and invasion of privacy to come… On my second day, I had been out all day from this hotel until eventually coming back and I noticed that the key cards were not working anymore for the elevator It was strange but I did not fully grasp the reason why until I asked the receptionist that was there at the time. I told them the situation on the nights reserved and then the manager showed up and told me that the room I was in was reserved by someone else. This is where it starts to really concern me due to the fact that I was not alerted of this aside from a phone call that I had not been able to reach and a voice mail that was silent throughout its entirety. It is almost like this place did not even bother to reach out to me, a message perhaps to my phone number or email even, just something to reach out because my personal belongings along with my girlfriend’s belongings were touched and meddled, and we noticed that something was stolen as well. All our personal belongings were taken from the room and put in plastic bags including the fish we had bought which was poorly handled by whoever tried taking care of our personal belongings. It was a huge invasion of privacy to find all our things in plastic bags downstairs and then we had to carry like 6 or 5 bags of what we had and most likely something was stolen from what we had in the room such as drinks(they placed some drinks along with the fish we had which just make the whole bag stench), shower supplies which we know for certain something was stolen and the bag where my girfriend keeps her shower supplies, we noticed someone opened the zippers in which it was completely unnecessary to start opening up our personal belongings as I found stuff I left in the desk and such in my backpack. While I understand the intent to store our personal belongings, it felt very uncomfortable knowing someone went through our things and stole something and who knows what else they could have done. I should have known that something was off just by the fact that earlier that day the housekeepers didn’t seem to have read the sign outside my hotel door that says, “do not disturb”, and barged in until she immediately saw that I was there. All she did was knock and then immediately opened the door without giving us any time to react. I tried to be understanding, but it just led to the mess of a situation I had to deal with my girlfriend carrying those heavy plastic bags all the way to the other side of the building because the elevators are ridiculously far from the entrance(not to mention the fact that one elevator only shows 3 floors instead of the 5 floors that there are which made it confusing initially). It was a good thing we had taken our passport, wallets, and money because it could have been much worse. I wasn’t compensated for this, for the waste of time that had to be dealt with and going through everything in the plastic bag and throwing out the disgusting foul smell that plastic bag we were expected to take which should’ve just been thrown out in the first place like some of the other things that were or they were stolen(some snacks were missing too as far as I remember) I was accommodated to the only room this place could offer at the time which I bought through a third party website because the actual website was not letting me book the night because it is terribly unresponsive.

The location was very accessible, especially since it’s close to the airport. The room was neat and tidy, and the hotel offers a large parking area. Although the service was a bit slow during the check-in process but there were no issues with my reservation. Overall, the value for money made the stay worthwhile.

Sketchy! Rooms were disgusting - changed 5 times because the rooms wreaked of sewage and cigarettes. The final room had a broken phone and lamp that had fallen apart, but at least it didn't smell like an outhouse and lysol. So sad, because the hotel looks nice. I didn't feel safe with my kids there. There were so many drink people stumbling all over the halls of the hotel and the parking lot. I had to ensure I didn't hit random people while they stumbled and fought in the middle of the street outside the hotel. Thankfully, there was a lot of visible security all over the place and even standing in the hallways of each floor. I will say the majority of the staff were very attentive. I reduced stars because of the lack of accommodation while waiting for a room change for an hour. They made a big deal about me sitting in their bar to eat my meal while I waited for my room situation to be addressed. If sitting at the pub waiting for a room was such a big deal, they should have just given me a complementary meal while I waited if they were so bent out of shape about outside food. One complementary continental breakfast feels like a slap in the face.

I stayed at the Victoria Inn with my small child and cousin, and unfortunately this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had in Winnipeg. We only booked here because our usual choice, the Residence Inn (which I highly recommend), was fully booked. We chose Victoria Inn based on its renovations and pool area, but it fell short in almost every way. Upon check-in, we were placed in a room right next to the pool. The chlorine smell was so overpowering it was difficult to breathe. To their credit, staff did move us, but the new room was a very long walk from the lobby, parking, and amenities. Online photos had also shown a bathtub, which is important when traveling with a toddler, but I was told on arrival that only suites had tubs—something that should have been made clear before booking. The elevator requiring a key card was a nice security touch, but inconvenient when having to meet delivery drivers downstairs instead of at the room. The pool required wristbands, which made using the amenity feel like more of a hassle than it should. Worse, after swimming, my child broke out in hives—something that has never happened at other hotel pools like Residence Inn. The service was also concerning. At one point, after forgetting my key card, I had to wait 15–20 minutes just to get a replacement. I also felt that I was spoken to in a dismissive way by front desk staff, and as someone from a minority background, it left me very uncomfortable. This is not something I’ve ever experienced at other Winnipeg hotels. Between the poor communication, disappointing amenities, and how unwelcome I felt, I can honestly say I will not return to this hotel. There are far better options in the city that treat guests with more care and respect. I will add rooms were clean, ac did stop working on our second night so it was uncomfortably hot in the room we did stay for 3 nights. Wifi was also slow.

I stayed this past weekend to attend a conference. My room was both spacious and clean. Did I ever sleep well. Wanted to take my mattress home - LOL. All the staff I encountered were both friendly and helpful. There was a minor issue that needed repair which certainly could have waited but I informed the front desk and within about 5 minutes it was fixed! Can't beat that. Quite a number of families enjoying the facilities. My room was located near and exit and the workout room so there was some noise but nothing to be concerned about. The breakfast was quite good but the buffet was average. I felt I got excellent value for my stay. Keep up the good work!! Highly recommend!

The Fairmont Winnipeg is a sleek and polished property located in downtown Winnipeg. It offers refined dining, a bar, and an indoor saltwater pool with city views. The hotel is pet-friendly and collaborates with the Winnipeg Humane Society to host events like the Bow Wow Ball and sponsor walks and runs in Assiniboine Park. The century-old Fort Garry Hotel, designated as a National Historic Site of Canada, boasts old-world appeal, high-end amenities, and hospitality.
We had a fantastic time staying at the Fairmont Winnipeg. From arrival to checkout, it was an elevated experience. We booked one night on the Gold Floor for our wedding anniversary. Upon arrival to our room, we found not one, but three hand-written cards from the hotel staff congratulating us on our anniversary and thanking us for celebrating it with them. I must have mentioned it when I called to book the room, but honestly I couldn't remember if I had. There was also a piece of cheesecake with Happy Anniversary hand-written in chocolate on the plate. I had never experienced that before! The concierge was great to chat with, the dinner and breakfast served on the Gold Floor was excellent, and every staff member we met were very friendly. Two minor issues which could easily be fixed: the hotel pool was quite cold and the Sauna wouldn't heat up past 40*C. Perhaps because it is summer, the temperatures are intentionally kept cooler? It did nothing to take away from our wonderful experience. Overall, we would absolutely stay there again and recommend it to others.
Andrew L — Google review
First off, the staff are incredible and are an absolute credit to the Fairmont Winnipeg. Ralph on the front desk was great, as were all of the staff in the lounge on the evening of September 19th, the accommodation staff, and doormen throughout my stay. The room service food was great and delivered quickly. The location is perfect, connected all across downtown Winnipeg via the Skywalk. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable, but they are in desperate need of a refresh. The TV in the room was extremely dated and the menu/guide software was slow and imprecise. The desk is not great for getting any actual work done (an oval is not a good shape for a work desk). The internet was super fast when it worked but went down a couple of times before completely giving up on my last night. The blinds and blackout curtains did a great job but, as with the carpets, are starting to look well worn. The bathroom seems partially updated with the sink area looking new, but the mirrors and shower/bath are certainly due an upgrade. The gym and pool area require a major face lift. These are good facilities but are well worn and take away from what are valuable amenities. The humidity in the pool area especially made everything wet and uncomfortable to sit and enjoy. The dry sauna, however, works very well. Overall, my stay was enjoyable, but definitely falls short of other Fairmont properties. While the price is admittedly very good, the gulf in quality is especially highlighted by the fantastic images of said elite-level properties displayed across the public areas of the hotel. I couldn't help feel that I would rather be staying at one of those locations instead.
William C — Google review
I checked in after a long day of travel and was immediately let down by the condition of the room. There was hair left in the shower and on the shaving mirror. Both obvious signs the bathroom hadn’t been properly cleaned. The room also had a noticeable musty smell, which made it feel damp and unkept. For a Fairmont property, this was surprising and well below the level of cleanliness and care I’ve come to expect. When I called the front desk, I explained the issue and asked if a Fairmont Gold upgrade could be provided as a goodwill gesture. It was a Sunday night and the hotel was clearly not busy, so the request seemed reasonable. Instead, I was offered to move to another standard room and given a $50 restaurant credit. Unfortunately, I was not dining on-site, so the credit went unused. While the staff were polite, the resolution felt transactional rather than focused on guest recovery. A Fairmont stay is supposed to feel effortless and refined. This experience felt more like any mid-range hotel. Cleanliness, air quality, and responsiveness to guest concerns are basic expectations, not luxuries. If it weren’t for the convenient downtown location, I’d likely consider a different property next time. I hope management reviews this feedback seriously, because the Fairmont brand is capable of much better.
James R — Google review
Room was clean and beds were comfortable, but carpets were stained, ceilings and walls had visible cracks and drains in tubs were slow. We were told that the hotel will be undergoing an extensive renovation next year. I'd suggest also putting in hot tub to compliment pool and sauna. My wife has dietary restrictions and lounge and breakfast restaurant went out of their way to ensure her meals respected her diet and were delicious. Once rooms get updated, experience will be 10/10.
Thom G — Google review
My partner and I recently stayed at the Fairmont Winnipeg and, unfortunately, our experience did not meet our expectations. We received no amenities in our room — the bar fridge was empty and not functioning, there was no complimentary water provided, and only one robe available. For a Fairmont property, we were anticipating a higher level of comfort and attention to detail. Overall, we left feeling quite disappointed as it did not reflect the quality or experience typically associated with the Fairmont brand.
Melanie G — Google review
This property doesn't meet the Fairmont level of quality and service experience. Booked a king room for our family of three, advertised on the Fairmont website as 'sleeps 3'. Called the property to ensure the rollaway be for our son would be in the room upon arrival and was told that a King Room can't accommodate a rollaway bed because it's a "fire hazard." Further, there is no pullout couch in the room. When asked where the third person (our nine year old son) can sleep, where we were told that he could share our king bed. No solution was provided by the hotel... no alternative room made available, no referral to another property with suitable accommodations, refund request so we could book elsewhere was denied, and no ownership of advertising the room as 'sleeps 3'. If you are coming to Winnipeg as a family, best to consider a more suitable hotel. Staff training in problem solving would also be a benefit to guest experience.
M K — Google review
Fancy but kind of outdated hotel. Very good location, needs a little update but it’s definitely a comfy stay. The AC was making some weird noise I couldn’t figure out what it was but I ultimately decided to leave it off instead of fighting it. Didn’t have breakfast so can’t judge that. Made use of pretty much all conference rooms and they’re all good. The pool at the top is very nice and so is the dry sauna. Gym is small so it might get busy/unconvenient but it’s a nice gym with a great view.
Jacopo B — Google review
This hotel desperately needs a renovation. The bed was comfortable but that’s pretty much it. Rooms are dated and carpets look dirty. Cracks in the walls. Room had such a weird musty smell that I had to request a relocation. Would not recommend staying here until they have renovated.

Located near Winnipeg International Airport, it provides easy access to airline check-in desks with its own airport shuttle. The hotel features an on-site restaurant, indoor pool, fitness center, and room service. Guests can also enjoy spacious rooms and suites, some with direct access to the indoor pool area.
Best hotel I’ve stayed in with kids for hockey tournament. Hotel staff was so polite, they opened a hallway for the kids to play mini sticks, had access to the lounge for parents and kids to hang out in; Was all around best experience I’ve ever had; kudos to the staff. Hope to stay again

Great hotel, The staff are very friendly and the location to the airport is excellent. I got a complimentary upgrade to a suite which was nice. This review would have been 5 stars except the suite was tired and the furnishings worn

I recently stayed at the Hilton Winnipeg Airport after winning a giveaway, and it was an amazing experience! At the front desk, I was warmly greeted by Veronika — she was very professional, friendly, and helpful. The whole staff made me feel welcome and comfortable. Everything was handled with great professionalism, and I left with a very positive impression. Highly recommend this hotel!

Other than the bathtub being a bit slippery (I nearly wiped out, but I am clumsy and should have thought to bring my own tub-mat!), the service was second to none! Always playful and serious, and willing to provide coffee for the in-room coffee makers, and privacy when needed, my friend and I truly appreciate the work they did!
Marjorie R — Google review
Stayed one night around August 4th. Unfortunately, first impression of the hotel may have created a negative bias moving forward. Front staff had a mix of very friendly or sour service reps. Elevator was dirty with visible dust and hairballs at one point. Hallway to room was hot and not air conditioned. Felt very dated with an odour of ancient cigarette smo ke. The room was a suite which was promising but finding a thick, curly, dark hair in my face towel was a bummer. Mattresses were tired and needing replacement. The general area didn't seem appealing but it is conveniently close to the airport (although I wasn't flying).
Alexandre B — Google review
My partner and I stayed at the Hilton Winnipeg for a weekend and it was ok overall, but it left us with very mixed impressions. The property is clearly tired. Some elements have been updated, but that only creates a strange mish-mash of old and new. For example, the in-room TVs are the same modern ones used in newer Hiltons and can be controlled from your phone. However, the hotel hasn’t integrated room controls into the system, so basic things like adjusting the A/C or turning off lights still have to be done manually. The TV guide was also completely broken as it showed completely inaccurate show and programming information. The Executive Lounge, on the other hand, has been nicely renovated and offered decent amenities. In contrast, the elevators felt sketchy and the hallways were dim and stuffy. We came here for a special and significant occasion, and I reached out in advance to arrange a surprise. Unfortunately, nothing was prepared at check-in. The next day, however, I spoke with Nav, the Guest Services Manager, who was incredibly apologetic and ensured the surprise was delivered to our suite while we were at dinner. That level of service recovery really stood out and was a highlight of the stay. The rest of the experience, however, was inconsistent. Breakfast was particularly disappointing—borderline inedible. The Eggs Benedict was the worst I’ve had at any restaurant, let alone a Hilton: more like a cup of mayo with paprika than hollandaise. For Gold and Diamond members, breakfast is handled in the “U.S. Hilton style,” with a daily credit instead of a proper complimentary breakfast. Many menu items exceed the credit, including the underwhelming buffet. After that experience, we avoided the restaurant and stuck to breakfast pastries in the Executive Lounge, which were at least reliable. Overall, the service here is excellent. But the property itself is in need of a major update.

Had an amazing stay at the hotel. Everything was just amazing, from front desk operators to the room as well as in suite facilities.

Holiday Inn Winnipeg-South, an IHG Hotel, is a modern accommodation with convenient amenities such as a bar & grill, indoor pool, exercise room and complimentary WiFi. Situated near popular attractions like the University of Manitoba and The Forks, this hotel offers spacious guestrooms equipped with microwaves, fridges and workstations.
I had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn on Pembina Highway. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. The location is very convenient, close to restaurants, shopping, and easy access to downtown. The rooms are spacious, quiet, and nicely updated with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The beds are comfortable, and I really appreciated how well-kept everything was. The pool and hot tub were great for relaxing, and the fitness area was clean and well-equipped. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choices, and the service was excellent. I also loved that the hotel is family-friendly and even pet-friendly, which makes it a great option for different types of travelers. Overall, I would definitely recommend Holiday Inn Pembina to anyone visiting Winnipeg—great value, excellent service, and a very comfortable place to stay.

If possible this hotel and staff gets a negative rating. We checked in at 7:48pm on September 19. The parking lot smelt like an outdoor latrine. The moment we stepped off the elevator on the 5th floor, there was a strong stench of stale cigarette smoke and some other sour smell. Got into room 502 - the room had a strong odor of smoke and some other stale musty smell. Tired and not inclined to go out to find another hotel - our first time in Manitoba - and it was raining - we decided to get a Lysol spray and do what we can to make the room bearable. Got up next morning at 2 and became aware of a strong urine smell which we figured came from the carpet at the side of the bed. The stench was unbearable - we got up and tried to shower but no luck here again. The tub was not draining. We then examined the bathroom closely and saw urine stains on the outside of the toilet bowl. It just got worse the closer we looked. Called the front desk - someone came up but no satisfaction - they could not find us a room. We hurried to check out. The Manager Daniel came out while I was relating what happened to the front desk clerk- he was very aggressive and accused me of being aggressive when I was calmly but firmly reporting what happened. He was very rude, aggressive and offered me $40 off. I declined and asked for his card but he instead scribbled his name on a piece of paper. That's it. I will be escalating this to upper management. This place does not even rank as a truck stop motel and should be shut down. You're better off sleeping in your car.

Our stay at this hotel was excellent. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and very clean, making it a relaxing experience. The hotel staff overall were warm, professional, and always ready to help, which really made us feel welcome. The dinner at the restaurant was another highlight—great food with attentive service. I also want to give a special mention to Mr. Vivek, the Security Supervisor, who kindly assisted us with parking and our luggage. His helpfulness stood out and added to an already wonderful stay. I’d happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting.

Unfortunately pretty disappointing, especially for the money spent to stay here. The rooms need an update as you can see the wear and tear on the furniture, and the carpets were all stained and tore up. Bed was comfortable to me though. People were running, yelling and playing music in the hallway up until 1:30am. Front desk staff was quick and polite but not overtly friendly. Breakfast buffet was alright. Fabric on the seats peeling up at the restaurant. Elevators dirty.

The staff has been very helpful. I have no issues with the rooms and cleaniness of the rooms. The lounge staff is great, very helpful and can have a sense of humor. Understandably can be busy and a little slower but they still can do a great job

Looks like this hotel has had a makeover. But unfortunately they removed the full service restaurant. The rooms are clean and the beds are quite comfy. The bathroom is adequate but it could use a new shower head.

A special shout-out to Ashley, the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, who went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. She was attentive, personable, and clearly passionate about ensuring guests have the best possible time. It’s rare to find someone who blends professionalism with such genuine hospitality. We will definitely be returning and recommending this place to friends and family!

This hotel is excellent in services , from the checking staff at the counter to the cleaners, all the way to the restaurant. Everyone was ready to help. One of the young ladies, Sifat at the restaurant was exceptional. She offered to make me veggie omelets when she saw that most of the items on the menu did not align with my menu preferences. The omelets, wow!!! Thank you 😊 🙏 💓 I will come again for sure.

The Best Western Premier Winnipeg East is a comfortable and relaxed hotel near some of Winnipeg's most popular attractions. The indoor pool and fitness centre are great additions, while the 24/7 gym makes it perfect for fitness buffs. There's also a restaurant and free WiFi throughout the property. The dogs policy is one of the hotel's standout features, as owners can bring their furry friends along for free.
This is the third Best Western we’ve stayed at with our dogs and I’m beyond impressed with the pet policy and setup. I really appreciate the reasonable rules, access to outdoor spaces, and extras like having a sign for your door to let housekeeping know there’s a pet in the room. The rooms are always clean and spacious, breakfast is great (and free!), and the pool and hot tub is a bonus. I can’t recommend Best Western enough if you’re travelling with dogs.

Rooms were clean and I like how they didn't have much carpet. Saw lots of families enjoying the pool and complimentary breakfast. Couples and adults enjoying the lounge area and fitness centre. A welcome letter was given at check in that had qr codes for different requests etc

We stayed at the BW Premier Winnipeg East last Tuesday and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, making us feel comfortable right away. Our room was spotless, well-kept, and very cozy. The pool area was clean and enjoyable, which our family really appreciated. Breakfast was delicious with a nice variety to choose from, and it was a great way to start the day. Overall, everything was perfect, and we truly enjoyed our stay. Keep up the great work — we’ll definitely be back!

This facility is amazing, what isn't is being told that I have to pay $14/person for an omelet breakfast because I booked through Expedia! So I will be either staying elsewhere or never book with Expedia again! No guest should feel like they're 2nd class after paying +$200. for a night's stay! So shame on Best Western and Expedia and guess what, I'm telling everyone who will listen. I guess your penny pinching will bite you hard this time. I know everyone!

Hotel was very modern and hip, i traveled with a pet and got the king suite on 2nd floor. Room was huge and really nice street graffiti art work which I loved so much I actually tried to take it off the wall, but it was mounted well and I failed. Free breakfast came with my room, and at night there was drinks and music near the lobby, great atmosphere 100% would recommend and stay here again!

Nice hotel with breakfast ($$$), and a swimming pool. Comfortable beds. Although I had asked to have the room cleaned, no one ever came to clean the room for 3 days, also asked for a house coat (unfortunately, they only have house coats for the 6th floor guests). I would recommend this hotel. Just keep your expectations low, that way you won't get disappointed.

My aunt discovered this hotel and had been returning for 3 years now and each time brings more family with her. This time she rented a block of rooms for our family for several days. The rooms were very spacious and modern. All raved about the breakfast. Delicious and extensive. Omelette station, fresh fruit, bacon, sausage etc. Enjoyed by all. The gym was one of the best we've seen in a hotel. The pool wasn't too busy on the one day we used it. The kids LOVED the slide and just have went down 50 times. There were loads of towels. Pool is large with a hot tub at one corner. Lots of loungers but they fill up quickly when busy. There is a pet floor. Rooms have no carpet to accommodate this. I felt the rooms packed storage compared to other hotels we've been in but it wasn't terrible. When we stay somewhere for several days we like to unpack and that takes more than 3 drawers. The artwork in the rooms was interesting. In most hotels it is calming and often a little boring. This was not boring nor calming 😂 I would recommend this hotel.
Tara M — Google review
It's a pretty nice hotel, with a pool, breakfast, waterslide and a lot of rooms. Looks good in the rooms and on the outside. Was a pretty nice experience and had comfortable couches and chairs to sit on while you wait to be checked in. The beds and other stuff was comfortable. My only problem was how busy the pool + hot tub is. Recommend for other people.

Meeting planning service
Four Points by Sheraton Winnipeg South is a modern hotel with American dining options and two bars. It boasts an indoor pool, hot tub, and fitness center. The property offers free Wi-Fi and is conveniently located just off the Trans-Canada Highway. Guests appreciate the outstanding service, spacious rooms with amenities like refrigerators and ergonomic work desks, as well as the friendly staff. The hotel's restaurant received praise for accommodating guests even when it was supposed to be closed.
Nice room at a good rate. Front seat staff were great. Room was clean and quiet. We also ate supper in the restaurant downstairs and it was very good. Lots of available parking and close to other stores and conveniences.
Lynda D — Google review
Nice hotel, but the customer service is terrible. No one can give you a strait answer on anything. And the restaurant staff prefer to sit, talk, and eat with each other than actually serve you. I had much higher expectations.
Matty D — Google review
Enjoyed our stay...would have given 5 star but they gave us accessibility room which we did not booked. Staff told me that I did and had to argue and show my reservation confirmation. Then they told me excuses that my profile had accessibility room as my preference which I did not understand. Told them I want different room, then they told me that they are fully booked. Only room available is two queen beds but had to change room following day....I was displeased with their answers and would like to cancel our reservation if they cannot provide our request. Then, they said they have a room with what we requested and don't have to change room at all. Room was good and we enjoyed our stay but why they didn't do it in the first place...why giving excuses that they are fully booked. So unprofessional...trying to give out unpopular rooms first. They should honor our original reservation in the first place. Free coffee and tea in the morning was very helpful.

Month of may 2025 I stayed 3 nights with my family in the Four points Sheraton Winnipeg . During my stay i encountered few issues , very disappointed with customer service and cleanness of the hotel. Front desk and Hotel manager I didn't respond back to me till today .i expected Higher standard and professionalism specially Marriott Property . Not only inconvenienced me but also left me with negative impression of your hotel and brand . Have great day !!

Great hotel very clean and modern. Really awesome serving staff in both lounges. Would have given 5 stars but I was really disappointed that the hot tub didn’t work. There are no jets and it’s not hot at all. Stayed here once a year or more ago and unfortunately no service has been done on the hot tub.

THIS AREA IS INSECURE! Stay with precaution. (Notice, location has "0" stars) We had a bad experience at this hotel, we stayed there because people told us this area was new and it was safe, however, this couldn't be more far from reality, most because of our car windows being smashed overnight, but the worst, as it seems to be everywhere is the insecurity in this area, and the poor response from the hotel management or authorities. We weren't told the area behind the hotel is considered as "low income," which from the people at the lobby seems to be synomin of crime. They failed to tell us not to park in the back of the hotel or not to leave anything at sight inside the automobile. 3 other trucks were left with the windows smashed in one week, not just us. Also, another time, se were about to leave early morning 6am, but we couldn't exit the hotel by the doors on the side or back of the building because "someone" blocked the exit doors of the hotel with heavy wood beams and wooden pallets. And, another strange thing that happened to us, someone left a bag in between the door and the doorframe, one of the side exit doors, to keep it open. So anyone could get inside the building, again, this around 6am. So, there are many things here that make us feel this place is insecure, so we decided to leave and stay in another hotel farther to the north. The food from the restaurant is good, we had breakfast and room service one day. Rooms are clean with an estrange smell, but nothing that could potentially make us feel uncomfortable.
Ellie L — Google review
We enjoyed our stay at the Four Points. Clean rooms. Comfortable. They accomodated us with parking that allowed for our 16’ cargo trailer. We ate in the lounge. The food was good. The service in the lounge was excellent.
Jackie R — Google review
I am very disappointed with the hotel front staff/reservations some how a staff member canceled my accessibility accommodations for my room reservation. Now the desk staff got me some aids to help me but they still made everything very difficult and more effort was needed to do daily things like shower and using toilet. The washroom was not accessible and made manoeuvring very difficult.

Nice Hotel to stay with, it is located in the middle of any place you want to visit in Winnipeg area very accessible to bus stop aswell if you want to try riding one. A big thumbs up to Mark on the Reception Area he always assist me whenever I have concerns in the room, I work in a hotel industry also and I notice his extra mile when it comes to his guest request or inquiry. He was offering alternatives or solution to my inquiries so a great kudos to him. Forbes 5 star for me. Another one to commend is Ms. Emma in the breakfast dining area, she is always smilling and assisting the guest, some guest knows her and hug her when meeting her, I think its her positive energy that gives us a slight boost in the morning as a guest in the hotel. Everything is almost perfect I think some powerful exhaust for the room or biddet would be helpful 🙃 I enjoy my stay all in all ☺️

I had a fantastic experience during my stay ,I was greeted with warmth and professionalism by MARYNA, the front desk receptionist. She was incredibly helpful throughout my stay, promptly addressing any requests I had.The room was clean, comfortable with full kitchen facilities. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel’s breakfast , where I had the pleasure of meeting MICHEL. He went above and beyond to ensure that guests had an enjoyable dining experience. Michel was friendly, attentive, and accommodating, always greeting guests with a warm smile and making sure everyone had everything they needed. His passion for providing excellent service was evident in everything he did. Special thanks go to MARYNA and MICHEL (friendly staff) for going above and beyond to make my stay an enjoyable one and felt right at home.

Nice sized rooms with a kitchenette. Love that the pool hours go until 10 PM for kids and then from 10 PM to midnight for adults. I wish every hotel would do that. What I don’t like about this hotel is half the pillows are deflated feathered and the other half are poor quality, lumpy, thin things. Didn’t have a great sleep because of it. Also, I could hear people walking upstairs above me and there was a dog that sounded like a large breed barking often down the hall for me. If I was to stay here again, I would’ve insist on a top floor room. Location is good. There is a train that goes nearby, but you rarely hear it. I can say that because I’ve stayed at this hotel and the one across the parking lot from it. Both managed by the same management team, even though different chains. Breakfast in the morning could’ve been better. Undercooked bacon all tangled up and disgusting looking. I don’t like the communal butter and condiments in bowls.

The room visually was nice and The breakfast was wonderful. The staff were kind and pleasant. Unfortunately the furniture is quite uncomfortable, pillows are thin and lack any volume so it wasn't a good sleep for anyone. BEWARE: if you have small dogs, who get into crevices! My small dog found a gummy, a condom wrapper and a Lindt chocolate wrapper behind the beds and tvs. So thorough cleaning seemed to be lacking.

Nestled conveniently near the MTS Iceplex, Winnipeg's James Armstrong Richardson International Airport, and Polo Park Shopping Centre, the Best Western Plus Winnipeg Airport Hotel is an ideal choice for travelers seeking comfort and convenience. This laid-back hotel boasts a welcoming atmosphere with an informal restaurant and a refreshing indoor pool to unwind after a day of exploring. Guests can enjoy top-notch amenities including a 24-hour business center, eco-friendly practices, and complimentary airport shuttle services that make getting around effortless.
We stopped here after being on the road for 24 hours. We were earlier than the normal check in time, but our room was ready and they let us in early. It's dog friendly per a weratedogs.com ad, and the friendly staff made our little traveling companion feel very welcome. It's close to some great restaurants, Costco, Walmart and the airport. There's also a great walking park just a few blocks away. The room was very clean, and the bed was A M A Z I N G. We literally slept for 12 hours. Thanks for a great stay.

Run, don’t walk, away from this hotel. I chose it because BW Plus usually has rigorous brand standards (not sure what happened to them). I made the mistake of not reading the recent reviews - lesson learned. When we arrived, there were instant red flags - multiple security guards lingered around the entryway. I have travelled all over the world, and in questionable areas, and not been greeted by the number of security personnel as were present outside of this hotel near the Winnipeg airport. Multiple intoxicated individuals lingered amongst the security guards. As I entered the lobby, it just got worse. The lobby, again full of security, had a disproportionately large number of intoxicated individuals. The front desk agent that I dealt with, while efficient (not necessarily pleasant), seemed be over the drama and openly frustrated. Fast forward to trying to get to our room. My partner and I ended up split up at the elevators. A drunk man started to punch the walls while we waiting and then got on the elevator with my partner and continued punching the walls in the elevator. Concerned for the safety of our dog, I chose to wait. Finally another elevator arrived and a security guard cleared the way for a housekeeper and I to get in - the housekeeper then told me how unsafe she felt in the hotel. Finally I got to the room (more security guards on the floor) and by this point my partner and I agreed we were leaving immediately; the whole vibe felt unsafe. Back downstairs we went. While checking out, a woman came in with an off leash dog who immediately ran over and pursued my contained dog. Nobody stopped this or said anything to her - meanwhile I kept asking the woman to stop the interaction, while trying to block her dog. My dog, who was already spooked, fought her way out of her collar and ran to find away out. A security guard and I ran to grab her - luckily my partner was around the corner talking to a security guard and was able to catch her. While waiting for me to finally checkout, my partner spoke to a security guard who told him we were doing the right thing by leaving because the hotel isn’t safe at night. The only good thing about this experience is that my money was fully refunded. As a side note, If your staff feel unsafe, there is a major management failure here.

⚠️ Alert: Please Stay Away from This Hotel ⚠️ Price payed around $800 for 4 nights. I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights during a business trip, and it turned out to be one of the most uncomfortable, unsafe, and disappointing stays I’ve ever experienced. Safety Concerns: From the moment you enter the parking lot, the environment feels unsafe. There were 5–8 guards in the parking lot, several in the lobby, and 1–2 patrolling each floor at all times. Instead of providing security, it gave the feeling of being in a prison and constantly watched. I was told that the hotel had been housing fire evacuees for months, and during my stay, police were present almost every evening. To avoid unsafe encounters, I spent most of my time outside or at work. Even so, random people banged on my door almost every night. Cleanliness: The hotel itself was far from clean. The hallways and rooms had an unpleasant odor, and the carpets were extremely dirty. The smell reminded me of passing by homeless encampments — stale and unhygienic. Facilities: There were only two elevators, and one was out of service for my entire stay. My room was on the 5th floor, so every trip up or down meant waiting 10–15 minutes on average. Customer Service: On my last day, I requested a 1-hour late checkout — something other hotels like Fort Garry and Inn at the Forks have easily accommodated with my company discount. However, the front desk staff here flatly refused and insisted I leave by 11 a.m. Final Verdict: This hotel feels unsafe, unclean, and unwelcoming. If you value comfort, safety, and professionalism, I strongly recommend staying elsewhere.

Do not book this hotel!!!!!! Staff are unfriendly and clueless. Asked about amenities and the 24 hour gift shop supposedly located by the front desk (written on the laminated paper in desk of room). They looked at me like I had 10 heads. Fights occurring outside at 3am. Trash in elevators and lobby. Old take out food and trash covering the outside grounds. Vomit and liquor cans in the stairwell. Mentioned to the front desk that I was "a little disappointed in the hospitality and service, given the price they charge".. and was yelled at by staff all the way back to the elevators. Security is not present or aware of their surroundings IN THE SLIGHTEST. Chit chatting amongst themselves well the entire hotel goes down the toilet. NOT IMPRESSED. $260 for a single bed single room.. what a joke..
Miranda M — Google review
Would NOT recommend staying here. Room was dirty, questionable stain on the counter by the toilet, dirty beds. The worst part of all of it is the local population. We never felt safe here as there was so much activity from people who “appeared on drugs”. Woke up to 5 police in the lobby. And a parking lot full of activity. Lucky the car didn’t get broken into as they have security to check out the parking lot. You can get WAY better value for your money somewhere else and actually feel safe.
Parker B — Google review
Front desk staff were pleasant upon arrival. However, every time I passed by, the manager was on her phone. I went down to the pool to use the hot tub. It didn’t work and there were no towels. I told this to the front desk who ignored my comment about the hot tub but said the towels will be out shortly. I called the front desk from my room a couple of hours later and asked for an update on the hot tub. They called back and said the maintenance man was gone for the day but would come back tomorrow (when I’m gone of course). Kids were running wild unattended. Room is clean and spacious but that’s about it. Would not recommend unless you just need a place to sleep.
Wendy G — Google review
With all the trouble we had, and not feeling safe enough to leave the room, I would never recommend this hotel. TV didn't work, fire hazard in the bathroom, fire alarm at 4am. The firefighters were walking, not running so you know this happens OFTEN. Garbage everywhere, so many security guards. Even one on every floor. I am thankful they were there, but it's very telling as to how unsafe it is there! That was the worst experience.
Jamie R — Google review
STAY AWAY!!!! This once good hotel is now a place for evacuees, unsafe everywhere. Fighting, kids playing, if you like being harassed by guests then this is the place for you. Parties in the rooms, smell of pot and booze everywhere. No hot water, restaurant didn’t open at 630 for breakfast. Stay away.

Stayed here with our hockey team along with 4 other hockey teams from the same spring hockey group and it was awesome. They were really accommodating and nice. They opened up a conference room for us to use every evening, created a buffet dinner for us and had us all near eachother near the pool area. The pool was fun, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the food was great, the staff were extremely friendly and patient. .it was safe for all of the kids and they loved it. Our room got serviced everyday as well which seems to be a thing of the past now. Would recommend this place for a big group setting, team etc. thank you!!!!

Manager is a great guy, very understanding, and wholesome. This hotel is excellent! The front desk greeters are very polite and helpful, and the bartenders in the lounge are great!. The lounge prices are also very reasonable for food and drinks. The pool is awesome for having a water slide for the children. It’s also very convenient to be beside Polo Park Shopping Mall it’s in walking distance. I really enjoy this hotel and I definitely recommend it.

Unfortunately, this hotel did not meet expectations. The common hallways and carpets were noticeably dirty, and the overall cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The "king suite" was surprisingly small, especially considering it costs the same as a room at the Fort Garry Hotel. Road noise from Route 90 made it hard to sleep — definitely bring earplugs. The only two redeeming features was 1) The water slide, which was clean and well-maintained, including the stairs 2) The room was clean, and flooring was hardwood not carpeted which. Otherwise, not a place I’d return to.

Tried to get them to price match to third party travel sites, they wouldn't and told me to just book through those companies. Tried booking with a military rate due to the location to the base. Was told that they don't give discounts to military members. I recommended that their manager review their pricing rules and a map. Ended up booking at another hotel that gave a government rate without any issues or sass.

What happened to the Viscount? I remember staying here a few years ago for a wedding and being very happy with the venue/stay. Different story this time. Immediately noticed the entire facility seemed very run down when we checked in. The floors in the hallways to the room and pool were DIRTY. Juice boxes and other trash scattered on the floors, carpets that needed more than a vacuum. The A/C in the room worked for a solid 20 minutes the whole stay after maintenance unplugged it and plugged it back in saying “sorry, we really haven’t maintained these units this last year”. The bunk bed room with 4 kids had no airflow to speak of. So with the AC out in the main area the entire suite got HOT and stayed that way. The kids did have a blast in the pool/water slide. But my oldest did step on a screw in the pool area. Maybe would have been easier to look past of one of the dresser doors in the room didn’t fall off when we opened it on check-in. The staff were friendly and apologetic offering an extra hour in the pool. But did little else to assure they heard the complaints about the state of the facility. I feel like the complaints fell on deaf ears and improvements are unlikely. Which is a shame as the Viscount used to be a quality place to stay.
Dylan G — Google review
This hotel is one of the worst we have ever stayed at. The male front desk clerk was so arrogant, condescending and rude. Was even yelling at a couple kids in the foyer to turn music down (he could have been a little more professional in his handling of that) He just turned his nose up at everyone and would go outside for smokes and not even a smile as you walked by. He should not be in the service industry at all and would benefit from some serious customer service training. I found the charming lady that works upfront with him to be the only redeeming part of our stay. Just avoid him if possible. You can tell this hotel is in the process of improvements and the rooms are okay, very small bathrooms and the hallways are rough and need a big reno but I would say overall the service that this one man just sets a crummy tone as service and kindness is everything and we won’t be back due to him.

First time ever staying here and will be my last. First of all, trying to book a room initially I was told “no we could not provide accommodations for a family of 6” and then later was told by a manager that of course they could. (Confusing yes, communication horrible) So what ever, booked a room. Price for the family was great. $180 for 6 of us. Awesome! Until we checked in. Room was very dated, door fell off the dresser/wardrobe first thing when trying to open it, the floors were not clean, the hallway carpets were not clean, very stained. Just needs an over haul. Kids were pumped for the pool, which was good. Water slide was fine, pool was good, minus finding a screw on the floor… and then looking down into the mezzanine area and seeing boxes of Reno stuff and garbage and food everywhere. Our rooms a/c was not working, maintenance came in and looked it over, admitted they have not flushed the lines on that side of the building in months. It also wasn’t secured to the wall and it was hanging off (safe?) We were able to only get 1 fan which did not much Espically for the kids room. It was a really sweaty night for all of us. When bringing the issues forward, we were given an extra hour for check out (which really was just a late check out instead of reg) and no other offers to accommodate our uncomfortable stay. It is sad, the viscount used to be “the place” to book and place to want to stay. It’s heart breaking how it has been left to fall by the way side like many other old good hotels in that area.

Canad Inns Destination Centre Fort Garry is a casual hotel with low-key quarters, featuring a buffet restaurant, sports bar, and casino lounge. The hotel offers unique fantasy rooms with themed beds and hot tubs, as well as standard rooms with access to a large pool area and water slide. Guests can also enjoy the on-site sports bar, casino, and English-style pub. The hotel is conveniently located near local attractions such as the Forks Historic District and artisans market.
My family and I had a wonderful time at this hotel. We've been here before and it's always super clean. The water park is fantastic fun for the whole family, as long as everyone falls the rules. Would be nice if they would upkeep the water slide a little bit more as some of the joints are a little rough for us bigger dads lol. Turn down service was a little slow on our second night, they didn't get to our room till about 5:00 p.m.. that being said, every staff member I dealt with was incredibly polite and professional we will definitely be coming back. So far out of all the Canad inn locations in Winnipeg that we've stayed at this one is by far the cleanest.

We’ve stayed at this location multiple times due to family living near by, and the kids love the pool area. Unfortunately this stay was a little stressful. We understand this hotel took in fire evacuees, and did not think much of it. But checking in, we were almost ran over by 2 young children riding bicycles right by the front desk and down the hallways, we were swore at walking down our hallway to our rooms, screaming and fighting were taking place throughout the day and carrying on into later in the evenings outside of our door. We woke up to blood smeared on the walls in the hallway outside our door, and food/empty food containers scattered over the floors of the hallway come morning. I did not feel safe walking my young kids down the hallway to the pool by myself. I feel like the hotel staff did do a very good job tidying up very quickly, there was an increased security presence in the hallways and pool area, but unfortunately as a mom of two young children I’d be lying if I said it was a stress-free stay this time around. I realize a lot of this is out of hotel staffs control, and grateful people have a place to stay, but just making people aware of our experience.

Booked a night stay here for my daughter’s medical appointment after reading the reviews online. Seemed like a nice clean place to bring my family and feel safe. First time stay and will NOT be back. I feel like I wasted money and could’ve slept better in my car outside. My partner, 3year old, and I were awoken 4-6 times before I called down to the front desk at 1 am to complain. It quieted down for a bit and then I was awoken again at 2:45 am by the same people jumping and stomping above us. Finally went down to the front desk and talked to them again. Then again at 4 am we were awoken at that point we had to be up at 5 and check out at 6 am for her appointment. Needless to say it was a rough night of sleep. That doesn’t include all of the hallways congested with people (adults not even kids) yelling at each other. Then when we walked out of our room at 5:30am to check out the entire hallway by the A side door stunk like weed as soon as we walked out our room door. And the empty beer cans sitting on the windows in the hallways of peoples rooms for everyone to see or kids to get too. The fact that I was supposed to hear from management after my check out yesterday (even after a call and a text to reach out) over 24h since my checkout and still haven’t heard anything. This is very disappointing and will not recommend this place to anyone. This does not feel like a nice comfy place to stay for family with children. Especially when the safety and health of your child comes first.

Extremely Disappointing Stay – Poor Service & Lack of Accountability We had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel. We specifically booked a room with 2 queen beds, but upon arrival, we were given only one. When we brought it up to the front desk, they casually said the couch was a “convertible bed”—no apology, no effort to fix the issue. Since we had to use the couch as a bed, we requested extra blankets, pillows, and a mattress cover. It took five phone calls and nearly two hours for them to bring anything. We were traveling with our pet and exhausted after a long drive, only to get a terrible night’s sleep. The blanket was also not comfortable for cold night sleep. To make matters worse, roofers started making loud noise early in the morning, making it impossible to get any rest at all. When we checked out and tried to share our experience with the front desk staff, the woman barely acknowledged us—she wouldn’t even look up. When we mentioned this, she defensively said she had to “check our reservation,” and completely dismissed our feedback. No empathy, no apology—just excuses. This level of customer service is unacceptable and unprofessional, especially for a hospitality business. Having someone so careless and indifferent at the front desk is not only frustrating but dangerous for the reputation of the hotel. Would not recommend. Very disappointing. I think the whole staff here needs one and half hour to listen and sort any thing. Please save your money and sleep in your car that would be comfortable.

Great if you enjoy chaos and unlocked doors! Ah, where do I begin? If you're looking for a hotel that combines the ambiance of a daycare, the safety of an abandoned warehouse, and the privacy of a group therapy session — this is your place. Let’s start with the warm welcome: within minutes of arrival, one of us was greeted by a gnarly insect bite. Nothing says "relaxing getaway" like scratching your leg and wondering if you'll need a tetanus shot. Now, onto the amenities. Our bathroom door didn’t close. Not broken — no. Just didn’t believe in privacy. Every time someone went in, it was a group bonding experience. “How’s your poop going, honey?” Romantic. The pool? A Lord of the Flies sequel. Unsupervised children performed Olympic cannonballs, used the hot tub as a splash zone, and reenacted scenes from Waterworld. One kid yelled, “I peed and I’m proud!” I'm not sure if he meant in the water or just in general, but either way, iconic. Security? What security? The side door was propped open with a rock. Apparently, this hotel runs on the honor system. Perfect if you’re nostalgic for the Wild West, not great if you enjoy not being robbed. Speaking of which… someone entered our room without permission. We came back to the curtains shifted and the weird unsettling vibe of someone else’s energy. No note, no explanation, just vibes. Creepy, lawless vibes. Final verdict: If you enjoy suspense, adrenaline, surprise rashes, and leaving with trust issues, book now. If you prefer closing doors, secure locks, and peace of mind, maybe try camping — it's safer.

We had booked a room with two queen beds but were given one with a single king bed and a couch instead. After informing the staff of the mistake, they simply told us to pull out the couch and use it as a bed—without providing proper bed sheets or blankets. It took nearly an hour for someone to bring blankets, by which time we were already trying to sleep. To make things worse, there was loud drilling from roofers in the middle of the night, which went on for almost three hours. We called twice to complain, but the noise continued and completely disrupted our sleep. When we shared our concerns with the receptionist the next morning, she barely acknowledged us and continued focusing on her work, showing no interest in addressing the issue. We simply returned the room cards and left. Definitely not recommending this place to anyone.

There seems to be two sides to this hotel and in my opinion after checking in, they racial profile people checking in. I left my business card for a call back and have not heard from anyone since. I checked in with my family and proceeded to our room. The halls were dirty and the room smelled musky. I went to the front desk and asked for a different room. I was told to take my time getting my belongings before I got to the new room. I had to go bavk and flrth from the front desk to the elevator, not once, not twice, but three times!!! I asked if the guy was playing with me and making me walk back and forth because I beleive the room was not up to standards. I even questioned about the other side of the hotel. I was told all the rooms were already given out. I am standing there and a Caucasian woman comes to the front desk and asks if any rooms are available and she was told yes, given a room on the good side of the hotel. I asked why he loed to me and was not given an answer. Iwas given a different room on the same side I was put the first time and this time once I opened the door I could smell sewer. I was upset, demanded a refund and I left that hotel. Feeling racially profiled because I am first nation. We do not deserve to be put in crappy rooms. I grew up in the area and when I moved away I always stayed in that hotel. Not anymore. Treat the natives wrong there.

The Holiday Inn Express Winnipeg Airport - Polo Park provides a comfortable place to stay near the airport with complimentary WiFi and a restaurant. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms have microwaves and refrigerators, making them convenient for travelers. There is also a pool and hot tub available for guests to enjoy. The breakfast buffet is extensive and the waitstaff are kind to kids.
I stopped at the Holiday Inn Express on Ellice Ave in Winnipeg for a quick overnight on my Toronto-to-Calgary road trip—and it was exactly what I needed. The staff were friendly and check-in was quick and easy, even late in the evening. The room was clean, quiet, and super comfy—perfect for recharging after a long day of driving. I really appreciated the blackout curtains and the cozy bed. Slept like a rock. The free breakfast in the morning was a great bonus. Good coffee, hot food, and an easy start to the next leg of my trip. Highly recommend this place for anyone passing through Winnipeg—great service, reliable comfort, and exactly the kind of pit stop every road-tripper needs.

The Holiday Inn Express Winnipeg Airport offers excellent parking availability, which was a major benefit during my stay. The hotel maintained its cleanliness, and the staff were consistently polite and helpful. It's worth mentioning that both nights saw a high level of activity and noise from other guests, this may or may not be a normal occurrence for this hotel, it did end up leading to several interventions by the Winnipeg Police Service. However, this was absolutely not on the hotel; the employees were highly effective and proactive in addressing these issues, demonstrating great professionalism. While these incidents occurred, the hotel staff managed them commendably.

Service can't be beat! Super friendly staff and amazing breakfast and pool. Location was amazing. Plenty of parking and stuff nearby. Had two rooms during my stay. One was perfect while the second needed some upkeep.
Roger D — Google review
Had to be moved twice after check in, because the rooms had broken appliances (Fridge in the first room was broken, and heater/air-conditioner was not working in the second room). Moving once is disappointing but understandable. Having to move a second time for something broken that can be easily checked, is absolutely pitiful for the price of a basic room here. The employees attending and "policing" the breakfast buffet need to be more considerate and less accusatory when asking for breakfast vouchers. I asked to speak with the manager after check out to have the "moving rooms" situation addressed and was told I'd get a call back, but heard nothing in two days. I tried to call them yesterday, but got hung up on when I was transferred to the front desk. Terrible experience for paying a premium price of $1100+ for four days in a BASIC room. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Probably the dirtiest hotel I’ve stayed at in Canada. The carpet clearly hadn’t seen a vacuum in ages, and there was hair all over the bathroom. I just wanted to check out as soon as possible. Check-in was painfully slow — over 20 minutes. Breakfast was decent for a chain hotel, and the breakfast staff were very friendly, which was the one bright spot.

Guests can start their day right with a complimentary breakfast before heading out to explore the vibrant downtown area, which boasts attractions like CF Polo Park and The Forks.
This hotel is a gem! The rooms were spotless and beautifully maintained, and the amenities were excellent. Everything was clean, comfortable, and modern. A perfect place for a relaxing and enjoyable trip. I'll definitely be back! The service is also great, I've meet Michael Gunay and he was very helpful, giving tips on the local area like the best food or the affordable convenience store nearby.

When we went to go to bed on the first night there were black coarse hairs under the pillows and on the sheets of my daughter’s bed. We called the front desk and were shocked by the apathy of the night front desk clerk. He came up and took pictures and then said there wasn’t anything they could do as housekeeping wasn’t on duty. We were like umm yeah you’re going to do something, she can’t sleep in that bed it’s gross. He then went downstairs and came back up with keys to a different room so we could move. It was after midnight and I wasn’t exactly impressed. The positive though is the beds were very comfortable and the rest of the staff were very helpful over the next couple of days.
Cheryl W — Google review
The hotel itself was decently clean. My reservation was changed from the style of room I booked. more annoying than bad. The beds were not the best and it was gross to see someone had stuck their fake eyelashes on the mirror and the hotel staff missed it when they were "cleaning" Continental breakfast had more choices than most hotels. Wouldn't go out of my way to stay there again however wouldn't totally avoid it either.

My and my family would like to thank the fair field marrott staff for all there help we were vacationing in Alberta and our flight home got cancelled due to the Air Canada strike so we had to rent a car and drive home to Windsor Ontario. As we were driving through Winnipeg we were getting tired looked for a hotel to have a rest. It was a Saturday and all 10 hotels we called were full till we got to fair field. The manager could tell how tired and frustrated we were with Air Canada and help us out and gave us a suite for a family of 4 so we could have a good night sleep before heading back on the road tomorrow. The room, the beds, the shower and even the breakfast was amazing. I hope that manger knows how much joy and relief he gave to me, my husband and especially the kids. If we’re ever back in Winnipeg again I would most definitely stay there again.

There was a live bed bug crawling around inside the closed bag of spare bedding in room 241. When brought to management they were rude and unprofessional: debated that it was a bed bug, did not apologize, simply offered new bedding, initially said they could not accommodate with a new room. There also was a used bar of soap in the room without a fresh bar available. We ended up getting a new room only because some guests had not arrived near 10pm. Mistakes happen, but poor service is a tough look. Photo attached.

Neat and the place is really comfy. I would prefer better light in the rooms but besides that all good. Breakfast was good and the pool was fun. It should have a deeper area in it. Close to different restaurants and a mall (30 minutes walk)

Days Inn on Berry street is my preferred hotel stay, not only because of the location but because of the staff. They are so helpful, very nice, always have a smile and willing to help in any way and the hotel is so quiet...love that!! The staff always make me feel welcome and a couple even know me! Keep it up staff at Days Inn!! ❤️🙏🏼

First I will say the staff was friendly. But everything is so dirty. The luggage carts were covered in sticky/greasy who knows what. The hot tub was filthy, and the pool not much better. If you’re a coffee drinker, bring your own. The coffee in the breakfast area tastes like they’ve run three of four pots through the same basket. Very weak and flavourless. The towels are very old and missing a lot of the soft material. They don’t smell very fresh either. Noticed several stains on the bed linen. Almost like they don’t use bleach here. There also seemed to be a lot of people just aimlessly shuffling around the parking lot and hanging out in front of the doors smoking, so you get to walk through the cloud to get in the building. I definitely noticed a stark difference between this hotel and other Days Inn’s we’ve stayed at in the past. It felt more like a homeless shelter than a hotel. Would NOT recommend.
Pat P — Google review
Room was nice, roomy. The decor in general is somewhat outdated but not a deal breaker. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was not bad (I’ve had way worse), with a few options. The location itself is near the airport which was what we needed. Saw a few but not many homeless people walking by.
Gil G — Google review
The hotel offers great value. The room and facilities were very good. To the management: I noticed that during the weekend, the breakfast staff were overloaded. I wonder why these hotels, knowing in advance how many people are going to be overnight and have breakfast the next day, don't make any effort to be prepared and deliver a much better experience at breakfast. Long lines, missing items, etc. a struggle for the service team.
Carlos G — Google review
The hotel overall was great, the only problem was the fridge in our room didn't work properly causing us to throw out all our food (pizza, fruits). Unfortunately we put the food in the fridge before bed so we didn't notice it was broken until the morning when everything had already gone bad. Otherwise we had a great experience at the hotel and the pool was always a nice temperature.
Jason P — Google review
This was an ok hotel. The beds were quite comfortable. However, the hotel tried to charge me again for the stay, even though I had prepaid. There is a free breakfast, though note they were unable to make accommodations for dietary restrictions, so it was just eggs and apples for breakfast for me.
Ian L — Google review
We were very disappointed with our experience at this hotel, particularly with the lack of customer service. After checking in at 3 PM, we left for a few hours, only to return and find that someone had entered our room and opened the hide-a-bed. When we contacted the front desk for an explanation, we were repeatedly given the runaround and transferred between three different staff members across shift changes. Each promised to review the security footage and follow up with us — but no one ever did. The room itself was also uncomfortable. It was very hot, as the air conditioning in the living room area was not functioning properly. Additionally, we found dirty dishes stored in the cupboards, which raised further concerns about the room’s cleanliness. The hotel's only drink vending machine was completely empty, and the pool's chlorine levels were excessively high, causing all the children in the pool to cough. The beds were not comfortable, and despite requesting extra blankets and pillows several times, we ended up receiving one. Overall, our stay was disappointing, and we would not recommend this hotel.
Katlynn B — Google review
Extremely disappointed in how this hotel handled a basic lost-and-found situation. I left two jackets behind and called within two hours of checkout. Staff confirmed the jackets had been found and assured me they would be held for pickup. When I later arranged to have them picked up, the hotel claimed they were no longer there. No explanation, no resolution, and no sense of accountability. This is a complete failure in customer service and property handling. I followed up promptly and did everything right. The hotel did not. If you value your belongings or expect even the most basic level of professionalism, think twice before staying here.

Located conveniently near Kenaston Boulevard, the Hilton Garden Inn Winnipeg South offers easy access to attractions like the Winnipeg South Outlet Collection and Assiniboine Park Zoo. The hotel features modern design, onsite dining, a fitness center, and an indoor pool. Additionally, it provides pet-friendly rooms, meeting facilities for business travelers, and is close to the tony neighborhood of Tuxedo Park. Guests can also explore St.
I had a very comfortable stay at this hotel. The pillows and bedding were exceptionally cozy, making for a great night's sleep. The rooms and hotel were spotless, and check-in was quick and hassle-free. One downside was the noise in the main floor hallway, which lasted until about 10:30 PM. It would have been nice if hotel staff had stepped in to quiet things down sooner. However, aside from that, the hotel offers great amenities, clean and comfortable rooms, and good free coffee in the morning. Overall, a solid stay, and I’d definitely return!

The rooms are nice and the location is perfect, near food establishments and a mall. However some of the hotel crews are not as pleasant as they should be. We can’t say if they are happy with their line of work or if they just choose who to be pleasant with or when to be pleasant. As a constant traveler, I appreciate a hotel that is pleasant to deal with and polite to talk with.

Our family had a double birthday celebration event last March 22, 2025 and the event went smoothly and everyone that attended had a good time. Making a reservation was easy. Stayed here for 5 days 4 nights for an event that brought me to Winnipeg. The room was on the first floor near the pool. If you do not want loud kids running around request a different floor. I had no problem with the noise. Unfortunately the room was a bit dirty. Still had dirt that was not vacuumed and the room smelled like someone had smoked in there. It's difficult to get the smoke smell out and as soon as I got home from this trip I could smell my suitcase and clothes smelled like the room. I ate breakfast here mostly every morning. Staff were friendly and polite. Overall stay was okay minus the cleanliness. Staff were great and kind which helped make the stay bearable. Location is near a frescho and close to a mall which I was able to walk to. Good location.

We ordered take home dinner for 5 people. We had the turkey and found it was enough food for 5 plus a toddler. We did add our own dessert and rice. We were not fond of the provided salad dressing and used our own. We did not receive the pierogis only the sour cream. No one got back to us when we called to inform them.

I’m giving two separate reviews here. First one could’ve been zero star if there’s a choice. We checked in one of their rooms because we have a birthday event that day. We paid so much for the event, my daughter who had her birthday came to our room got harassed outside of the hallway, card to enter our room suddenly wouldn’t work. Went to the front desk and said that is not our room, when we’re literally been in and out room to change clothes for the event. My daughter came back to me crying, hysterical to just go home and not stay overnight to sleep here. I went to the front desk front desk and asked for explanation. Dentine and Monika at the front desk, said our room doesn’t belong to us and someone checked in before 11 pm and asked to put all our stuff away in our room. Frantic and about to explode and trying to hold emotions said they have no right to touch our things, front desk asking for proof of checking in that room. Holding my card passes with room number on it still asking for more proof. “You guys are impossible and NOT UNDERSTANDING AT ALL!!! We’re so devastated and mad we had to check out there and then even though they still insist that room doesn’t belong to us and giving us a different room. Would u be comfortable and safe still to stay??? NO WAY!!! WE TOOK ALL THE STUFF THAT THEY TOOK IN OUR ROOM WITHOUT PERMISSION AT ALL!!! NOT THINKING AT ALL!!! HERE IS ONE OF THE STUFF THEY TOOK IN OUR ROOM IN A VERY DISRESPECTFUL CONDITION. That’s a very expensive dress that u JUST TOSSED IN THE BAG LIKE With GARBAGE. YOU’ll here more from me. DONT WORRY AT ALL I WON’t let this pass.

Mixed bag. The staff interactions were all great - they're friendly and trained well. But the hotel is showing its age, the pool was "indefinitely closed", and specifically our room needed to be decommissioned until the bathroom could be fixed. My first time staying at a CanadInns and I'm not likely to return.

could see. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. When I first sat on the corner of the bed upon arrival, I pretty much slide right off with how low I sunk. It was very lumpy and sunk down in the middle as well. My final night, the floor and other guests were very loud. There were kids running the halls late into the night and other guests partying. I was woken up multiple times throughout the night. I had to leave for a flight around 3:30am. When I was walking to the elevator to leave, there were a couple rooms with their doors slightly ajar and were quite loud. I felt bad for those that were closer to these rooms as I could hear them loud from my room. When I was in the lobby, I mentioned how the floor was loud. The front desk employee stated that they were aware and that security had talked to these guests. I don’t think that these guests having their doors slightly ajar helped the situation and this should’ve been addressed in my opinion. For $120/night, this hotel did not meet my expectations. I would not return. The accumulation of all these complaints is what influences this decision.

Delta Hotels Winnipeg is a contemporary high-rise hotel with skywalk access, offering modern rooms and two pools including an outdoor pool with a generous deck. It's conveniently located near Canada Life Centre, Centennial Concert Hall, museums, and markets. The hotel has received positive reviews for its ample meeting space, on-site dining options, indoor pool, fitness center, and business facilities. Guests have praised the friendly and professional staff as well as the clean and spacious rooms that provide all the comforts of home.
Edna Yu was absolutely amazing, welcoming, and helped us get all settled. We loved the pristine, clean rooms and modern design. I personally, loved the bathrooms, the heated floor, and the shower's water pressure. That hot shower was just what I needed at the end of a long road trip. The location was very convenient for us too. We went to the morning Mass right across the street at St. Mary's Cathedral. Overall, it's like we lived like royalty there.

The hotel and rooms were very nice. Staff were friendly, and I really appreciated that they gave you complimentary water bottles. My only issue is that the rooms need more soundproofing. There was a family across the hall from us that had a child that was screaming from 10pm well into the middle of the night (I’m talking like 1-2am) every night we were there, except for our last night. It was incredibly difficult to sleep, and I ended up having to sleep with headphones in and music on to drown out the screaming. Other than the noise, it was a pleasant stay. The skybridge to the convention centre was super convenient, too.

Overall a good stay. Check-in was seamless, good parking a few dining options as well as a cafe. The breakfast in the Club Lounge was excellent. Lots of selection and consistently replenished. We stayed in the 11th floor. The room was okay. It was clean but you could most definitely tell it had been smoked in before. Which made it feel unclean. For almost $500 a night I did expect the room not to smell like cigarette smoke.

Had a pretty good stay here. Staff/service was friendly. Room was clean and had decent wifi signal. No room safe though. The bathroom floors were heated, which was pretty cool. I stayed on the 6th floor and one of the nights had a bit of outside noise, but it was on a Friday night downtown and in any city it’s going to be like that and I wasn’t bothered by it. Location was pretty central and very walkable to many places (that I needed to go to)

Popcorn ceilings. Dark room. Noisy from traffic. Carpet is really worn and dirty. Hallways look like a college dorm from the 1960s or a housing project. Drink machines at the end of hallway. This is not a 4 star hotel. Maybe a 2-3 star. Beds are comfortable. Bathroom is fine. But the draperies and carpet need to be completely replaced. I was grossed out and walked around with shoes. No slippers or robes provided. Lighting needs to be replaced in the hallway- it’s fluorescent making it feel like a horror movie. Smells like someone has been smoking in the room. My hubby on oxygen. Guest services said it was a non smoking hotel. I would not stay here again. Feels like a tired holiday inn from the 70s. If I hadn’t arrived close to midnight from a long flight, I wouldn’t have stayed there. I would have rebooked at another hotel. Marriott really needs to upgrade this hotel in a big way.

The hotel was very nice, staff very nice. Definitely a difference from pictures to expierence, all the pictures made things look nicer and brighter. Weight room was very very hot and humid. We had confusion on parking as it seemed to be included. Overall wonderful experience. Would come again. Booking made under my friend.

Sadly this hotel is not designed for you to bring family on vacation or conference. They only let kids swim till 9. They should have the pool open till 11 and do.adult swim at 10. For many people with kids 9 oclock is to early for a kid to.be kicked out if your on vacation. So sad.

Stayed for 3 nights at the Delta for a conference and REALLY enjoyed my stay. Was immediately very surprised that I was lucky enough to check into the hotel around 12pm despite normal check-in being 4pm. Staff here were all very friendly. The room was also super comfortable and clean. Yes the TV is a little on the smaller side, but I was able to watch comfortably from the desk while doing some work, or from the bed before going to sleep. Loved the heated floor in the bathroom, which was very spacious and had everything I needed. Amenities were solid. I didn't use the pool/hot tub, but it looked very clean. I used the gym all 3 days I was there and it was great. Lots of good machines and free weights, and lots of clean towels, water cooler, and apples. Even got to workout next to some members of the St. Louis Blues who were staying there. Location wise, I'd say depends on what you're looking for. Since I was there for a conference, it was super convenient for me as the hotel is connected to the conference centre via a skywalk. I also managed to catch a Jets playoff game which was a huge bucket list item for me since the team moved back from Atlanta, and the Canada Life Centre is a 5 minute walk away. Because of that the area was quite noisy late into the night on game day. Also, a lot of the restaurants that were recommended to me in Winnipeg were not really accessible from here unless you have a car. But there is a pub and coffee shop attached to the hotel. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Just a really great experience overall.

Located just minutes from the Winnipeg Airport, the Sandman Hotel & Suites is a great place to stay if you're looking for a convenient option close to the airport. The hotel features an indoor pool and hot tub, as well as a fitness center, which makes it perfect for guests who want to stay active while in town. Additionally, the free Wi-Fi and shuttle service to and from the airport make this a great choice for travelers on a budget.
Overall quite enjoyed the sandman. Dog friendly with a big courtyard to walk them. Rooms were spacious The staff was super nice The pool & fitness gym could use a little work, but it was fine. The hot tub wasn’t hot enough I just didn’t like how the water fountain was inside the pool but you can’t wear outside shoes to go get it . A more accessible fountain would be better Loved how close to Denny’s and moxies it was. Never had to worry about starving. The laundry though, yes it was free to use, you just need to provide your own detergent. But it was a washer & dryer combo. And I don’t think anyone ever cleaned the dryer…. It doesn’t dry clothes. It leaves your clothes hot and damp… even after 2 hours of drying. Because of this, it caused us to wait a long time for a machine to be available. People keep resetting the dryer because their clothes weren’t drying. We learned from other guests so we just dried our 2 hours worth then took the clothes back into the room to hang dry.

Have never stayed at a Sandman before, so we weren’t sure what to expect. It turned out to be a good hotel within walking distance to stores and restaurants. The hotel does have two restaurants on site, including a Denny’s which is open 24 hours (did not eat at it, so cannot attest to the food). Though starting to show its age, our room was clean and spacious and the king bed was super comfortable. The only issue is that the PTAC is long overdue for a good cleaning. Additionally, we appreciated that it is dog friendly. Front desk staff were friendly. Would stay here again.

The hotel is not 5 star but it is clean and convenient. I was provided shuttle service daily by Lilly and she is amazing. Very caring , communicative and accommodating. 5+ stars !! I only gave 4 for service as the front desk agents did not acknowledge my presence when checking in and times I had questions

DO NOT STAY HERE!! This place is seriously like a Motel 6. Absolutely disgusting. Dirty. Outdated. Noisy. Smelly. Stayed here one night over the weekend and was very disappointed from the moment we checked in. The hallways are outdated and dirty. The rooms are horrific and small. Not what is pictured. The tv does not work. It shuts on and off all night long. Bed sheets were dirty. Also, the hotel room shakes. Like literally shakes. I believe it’s from the outdated elevator that has maintenance issues. Motel 6 would be a palace compared to this hotel. I am not quite sure how this is a Sandman hotel. Do yourself a favour and stay elsewhere!!

I was staying in the city this time to do a working at heights training course for a routine refresher. I am a miner by trade and must do this every couple years. My room unfortunately wasn’t ready on time because of cleaning delays. The service representative at the front desk was really accommodating and gave me a voucher for dinner in one of the restaurants attached to the hotel. Chops is one of my favourite places to eat. The steak bites are one yummy appetizer. I went for them, followed by a steak meal. As usual it was fantastic! Thanks for taking the time to make your guests feel taken care of and somewhat appreciated.

Worst experience ever. Ruined our whole weekend. We checked into a room with no power and a broken air conditioner. We spend $260 for a room with Jacuzzi. It was 30°C, dusty, and dirty. We reported the issue to the front desk, and they said it would be fixed. When we returned and turned on the air conditioner, the power blew out again. We contacted the front desk once more, but they offered no real help—just repeated promises that someone would come. Two hours later, at 11 pm, nobody had shown up. We were forced to spend the night in a hot, dark room with no air conditioning. The service from the front desk was absolutely terrible. Do not book this hotel if you want a decent experience.

Gross. My work booked this hotel and I’ll be ensuring that they never use it again. Hairballs in the bed. Carpet is smelly. Ancient, noisy wall air conditioner. TV doesn’t turn off, just have to unplug it, walls are beat up. Staff were fine at checkin, and allowed me to change rooms from the main floor, with a view of the industrial parking, to the third floor, which felt safer and was the only reason I even decided to tough it out here for the night.

Sandman Inn was our home away from home due to my husband being in the city for medical reasons. The room was clean with nice new furniture and amenities. When my husband came out of hospital they moved us to a suite for the same medical rate price. Thank you Lucy. You were so polite and accommodating.

The Canad Inns Destination Centre Polo Park is a relaxed hotel with a buffet restaurant, an indoor pool and a casino. It is ideal for sisters, nieces and friends who want to get away from it all and relax. The staff are friendly and efficient and the facilities are great - guests can enjoy an indoor swimming pool and hot tub, as well as a fitness centre and bar.
We didn't stay in a room, this is for daughter's grad event--not only a lovely set up with workers courteous and helpful, it was accommodating to our numerous allergies in our family. We haven't always been accommodated safely, sometimes not at all, at other places. But here, the entire meal provided was full, and delicious, great care was taken with food prep safety for us, AND presentation and taste did not suffer at all. This really stands out as 5 star for us, CanadInns PP, we had a great evening!

First time in 10 years on the job I've given up on a hotel and asked for a refund to book elsewhere. Arrived at 3:45pm check in day, was greeted warmly but front desk had to call up to housekeeping to see if the room was ready, heard them say 5-10 mins so i was asked to take a seat and wait. At 4:15 i approached for an update and while apologies took place, i was forgotten. Rooms are acceptable, had better, had worse, pillows above average for price range but the doors may as well be ceremonial as they provided no audio protection from what followed. My concerns were already heightened by reading some of the reviews and sure enough. 2 am was the first disturbance. Profanity, door slamming and blatant disregard for others from an unruly group, 5am the same group returned highly intoxicated so the commotion was heightened, group turned on one another and a physical confrontation took place in the hallway. The sound of fists smacking body clearly audible. With reviews past citing a need for better security, the occurrence is evidence of lack of action. The 3rd disturbance came in the am as I woke to contractor's taping a wall and sanding to repair damage to a wall (not loud work but still audible enough to awaken me). Considering this was a Wednesday night, that was enough to decide 4 more nights here isn't for me. The staff told my booking agent the police came and removed the group and assured it wouldn't happen again, however reviews and experiencing the noise pollution from the hallways, I asked to check out and cancel my remaining stay. The staff on hand was amicable in granting this so I've given service a moderate 3 star rating despite check in neglect. A security review is a must, a solution to better seal the room doorways for noise is suggested.

Me and my girlfriend decided to stay here for a night just for a spontaneous date. When we were looking for hotels online, this one came across with a pretty good price of around $140 for a one king bed. Due to some error online, we couldn’t pay online for it, so we just came in person to book it, and once at the front desk, they upcharged the room to around $350, which was our first red flag. We booked it anyways, since we were already there. We then went to the buffet restaurant in the hotel, expecting the buffet to be what the server advertised, around $25 per person. We then grabbed our plates, and the food was mediocre, sort of expected for the buffet. Unbeknownst and unadvertised to us, the $25 per person was only for the fruits and small serving things; for the main food, it costed upwards of $40 for each of us, which was the second red flag. Once we went to our room, it was decent. Bed was comfy, the size of the room was good too, however the faucet to the tub was loosely put on and didn’t work very well. Definitely could’ve found a better experience elsewhere for the amount of money we spent. Overall kind of a ripoff. 2.5/5

Room was clean but hotel overall is very dated, they obviously have significant challenges with riff raft and while trying hard it doesn't feel fantastically safe. Very noisy air conditioning, minimal water pressure - good conference facilities and food.

I’m being generous with the two starts but literally my mom saw a mouse in her room!! 😟 It came from behind the tv and was just crawling on the dresser and then it disappeared.. 😖 I gave 2 stars instead of one because the service was nice according to my mom but she said when she told the guy about the mouse he just kinda waved her off and said they would take care of it. I really hope they do because that’s genuinely so disgustingg

I had a wonderful stay at Travelodge Wyndham Winnipeg East! From the moment I arrived, the customer service was exceptional—every staff member I interacted with was friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to make sure I felt welcome. It's rare to find that level of hospitality these days, and it truly made my experience stand out. The highlight of my stay was definitely the pool. It was clean, well-maintained, and the perfect spot to relax after a long day. Whether you're traveling with family or just looking for a peaceful getaway, this place checks all the boxes. Highly recommend and I’ll definitely be back!

Staff at this location are absolutely wonderful. They are kind and very helpful. The location is close to transit and food which were things we needed for our stay. We booked two adjoining rooms for our sports team for the weekend and did find immediately we could not use one of the bathrooms. It was left in an unusable state after some renovations had taken place (sticky floors with boot marks, messy countertops, and dirty shower). We were offered another room, but it only had one bed and could not accommodate those staying, so we opted not to move. Staff did come in quickly to clean the bathroom for us. After the cleaning, we found a bedbug on the shower curtain of one bathroom. We let the front desk staff know immediately and sent an email notification to cleaning staff about it. We received no follow up, so I am unsure of what the facility did to ensure this was a one-off incident. We checked our mattresses, box springs, and along the baseboards of both rooms where bedbugs like to hide and found none. None of the occupants of the two rooms were bitten, so we believe it to have been a one-off, but cannot be sure. I contacted the hotel after our stay to discuss the issues we had, and I heard back from them within 48 hours. The Travelodge was willing to work with us offering either a complimentary stay in the future or a partial refund through the third party booking agent. I contact the third party agent who also contacted the Travelodge, and the Travelodge was no longer willing to provide a partial refund. They claimed to try and offer us accommodation, but we had not received any offers to change rooms after the first night. One cleaning staff member simply asked if we were going to continue our stay at the hotel, and we confirmed we were.

Friendly service. Some workers are great, some are average. One of our rooms smelled like pee, but they gave us another room, so that was good. It might have been nice to get help moving our stuff considering the move was not our fault. The pool area is awesome! The price was great.

The location is perfect for my needs when I need to run to the store or grab a bite to eat at a restaurant. There’s a few close by maybe not your choices but they’re definitely my favourite places to go. The beds are comfy. The pillows are also comfy. You’ll have a good sleep cleaning stuff come every day and everyone is friendly.

So here we go my honest review. We could hear the neighbours way to much so not good. The air conditioning had no chance cooling the room till morning so very hard falling asleep. The shower was great good size as well the pool was also very good. Breakfast was bad don't need breakfast like that just cereal, fruits, toast, jams but NO warm eggs or bacon or sausage or anything so very dissapointed in breakfast.

Great hotel and staff, hotel feels a little dated but they are working on upgrading. Absolutely no complaints, good breakfast, pool, hot tub and sauna all very good and clean, has an area with lots of tvs, good menu items, some pool tables, food and some slot machines. We used Uber daily and was not an issue getting a ride. Enjoy your stay 😊

The building is pretty much what I expected after seeing the outside. There’s an old fashioned vibe for sure. The rooms were slightly rough around the edges to be completely transparent, but you get what you pay for. That being said, they were in fact kept tidy. I immediately appreciated the water pressure in the shower, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. overall cool spot!

Great basic hotel to stay at. If it is a stop off as you drive through, this fits the bill perfectly! The staff were lovely, room clean and comfortable beds. One thing to be warned about, your carrying your luggage up the stairs, so if you have a ot of luggage and other stuff, you have been warned. I was there on a motorcycle and they let me park right in front , next to the front doors. So give them points for being accommodating for the bike.. Staff was overall great..!!

The Canad Inns Destination Centre Windsor Park is a relaxed hotel with an indoor pool and waterslide as well as a sports bar, club and restaurant. The rooms are comfortable and come with a flat screen TV, tea/coffee maker and microwave.
Stopped by Altos/Windsor Park to try the breakfast special on a Friday morning. We found the food very tasty. The service from waiter John C.was exceptional, very polite and accommodating. So impressed that he offered us a side of tomato slices in place of gluten free toast, which Altos does not carry. Such a pleasant experience, we will definitely be back!

We booked a room in order to use the water slide for a birthday party. The water slide ended up being under maintenance for our booking, which they informed us of a couple of days before. Of course this was disappointing, but the hotel more than took care of us and we ended up having a great time at a later date when the slide was ready. Shout out to Autumn for truly going above and beyond to ensure our complete satisfaction! Thank you!

We went for brunch with our two energetic kids aged 2 and 5. The staff were so friendly, patient, and kind. Food was very good. Coffee and juice were a bit pricey but it seems that’s the way everything is going now.

If customer service & attention to detail was better I probably would have rated higher. This stay costed me unnecessary expenses due to a lack of attention to detail. The pool always had towels, and the slide was a hit with the kids!

We stayed in one of the "newly renovated" room and it was like they put lipstick on a pig - the new furniture and flooring was clean and new, but it still feels more like a prision with it the bare walls, tiny window and out of date appliances. The air condition, mini-fridge and bathroom fan are old and super noisy. The air in the hotel is very stale and the use of carpet deoderizer/air fresheners is overwhelming. I would not recommend this hotel and will never stay here again.

Best Western Plus Winnipeg West is a four-story hotel offering complimentary WiFi and breakfast. It's located in the heart of Winnipeg, within 1 km of various restaurants. The hotel features an indoor saltwater pool, fitness center and hot tub. Very clean, friendly staff make it very comfortable.
This hotel is awesome, seriously! The staff are super nice, but what really blew me away was how well-run the whole place is. You can tell they're on top of things from the minute you walk into the spotless lobby. Our room was super clean, and that attention to detail carried right over to the breakfast area. It was always fully stocked and organized, and the staff were constantly tidying up as people came and went – they're really on the ball. If you've got a family, you'll love the pool. It's a great size with some fun stuff for the kids. And, no surprise here, it was sparkling clean too! It's clear they take pride in keeping everything spick and span, which makes for a really comfy and fun stay. Location, Location, Location! For travelers, the location can't be beat. It's right on the Perimeter Road, which is perfect for getting around Winnipeg. Plus, you've got a Flying J gas station and a Denny's right next door, making it super convenient.

The staff are very friendly and the hotel was really nice looking!! The room was very spacious, clean and updated! We had our 2 cats with us and they loved the view!! They also give you a little goodie bag with a can of cat food, treats, and a couple toys!! The only complaint we have is, we found the room a little warm. The AC in the room had a note on it saying, not to put it below 64 because it would break. Overall, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

The rooms were nice very close to the highway with a great pool for kids with slides and features. The breakfast was good with plenty of options and attentive staff ensuring it stays stocked and clean. The rooms were clean however we could hear footsteps from adjoining rooms so you may want to run a white noise machine if you are a light sleeper.

Stayed here for 2 days for an event at Red River Ex. Lodging is pretty conveniently located. Rooms and property were well kept and clean. Pillows and bed too soft but you cant please everyone. The fridge fit my large fruit tray nicely. Free breakfast was good and if you don't like that Dennys is literally right there along with Flying J for snacks.

My husband and I were passing through Winnipeg and stayed here for a night. Staff were all very, very friendly and informative, the room we had was large, there was a lot of options for shopping and food nearby, including right outside in the parking lot where there was as a Denny's. The breakfast selection was amazing, especially given my dietary restrictions. My main issues were the fact that the bed was extremely uncomfortable to me, there were not many outlets that were accessible (and for a disability friendly room that's not great), and the TV was absurdly small and high enough up that anyone who is in a chair may not be able to reach it without difficulty.

I recently did a review on probably the best Best Western in MB, This hotel is probably close to the worst one MB. Staff were rude both front desk and kitchen staff. Very short in conversations, loud and not discrete in handling other people’s confrontations. Hallways were dirty, not vacuumed garbage bags sitting in the hallways for more than 12 hours. Pool was closed. Rooms were not cleaned every day and when they were things were missed such as dirty towels left on the floor. I stay at allot of Best Westerns so I am on the top tear of rewards program. Normally I would get water or some gift when checking in. Here there was nothing and felt like a piece of meat . This place has so much potential but I won’t be coming back.

Clean and well done room. Nice hotel soaps. Surprisingly quiet for being next to a truck stop, flying j. The pool was fun but had so much chlorine we were coughing and had to leave. Also the pool got over run by kids who had absent parents, so they got out of control. At 1130pm someone decided to redecorate their room by dragging furniture across the floor. Simultaneously, those same kids ran up and down the hall screaming for an hr while their parents sat in the breakfast room (which closes at 10pm). We had called the front desk and they did little to nothing about it.
Eileen R — Google review
I woke up with swollen spots on my face after staying here. When I raised my concern, the front desk immediately dismissed it and pulled out a printed photo of another insect to claim it wasn’t bed bugs. The fact that they keep this at the desk speaks volumes about how management operates—clearly this is not a rare complaint. ⚠️ The building also has a strong odor, like old carpets that haven’t been replaced in decades. Allowing conditions like this is unacceptable. Guests have homes to return to, and if BUGS 🚨 are living here, they can easily be carried back with us. That’s not only unpleasant—it’s unsafe. ⚠️ I would not recommend this property based on cleanliness and the way management handles guest

We had a wedding social at the venue attached to the hotel and everything was perfect. The staff was amazing, friendly, and helpful. They took care of everything for us including: food, security, DJ, bartenders. They also allowed us to book rooms at a group rate and accommodated many of our guests. This is my new favorite Canad Inn! Our suite was just perfect, and exactly what we had requested on our reservation. Everything was clean and quiet, and the housekeeping staff were very mindful of the DND we put out. They check on you after 5 days to see if you need anything. I would say the beds are a bit creaky and hard-ish. The sofa bed was very creaky indeed but reasonably comfy. The kitchenette had everything we needed, although the microwave was a bit of an annoyance in the mornings when trying to heat something up and you can't silence the beeps. It was nice to be able to use the back stairs to come and go, however there are some drawbacks. The outside of the hotel has an interesting ambiance, we saw more than a few seedy people and deals happening in the back parking lot day and night, but it was never noisy and we never felt unsafe. We were asked for money and cigarettes more than once. Be mindful nobody comes in with you when you scan your card. It was great to have Giant Tiger and a pharmacy right there! Also a 7-11 right across the street. The Aaltos here is pretty darn good, and Marita was a wonderful server with a delightful sense of humor.

On a road trip with a friend from Toronto and the beds were super comfy and the room was spotless. Breakfast was delicious, and Tiffany took such good care of us with quick and friendly service. Thank you 😊

The bathroom haven't to me was working properly and when I switched rooms I forgot a speaker. Which in one day went missing. And the staff tried but who knows. Aren't they suppose to check the rooms after check out. The receptionist was cryptic as I asked did anyone else stay in the room since me and she wouldn't give me a proper answer. Which leads me to believe they know where my device is.

The Super 8 Winnipeg East is a mid-range hotel that's easy to access off highways 1 and 59. It offers an indoor pool, free breakfast, a fitness centre, pet-friendly options, free parking, 24 hour reception and early check in and late check out.
We had a great experience at this hotel overall. Everything was exceptionally clean, and the staff were all friendly and welcoming. The rooms felt fresh and modern, and the AC worked perfectly. We also enjoyed the breakfast in the morning—it was a nice way to start the day. We brought our dog along and felt very well accommodated. Would definitely stay here again!

Cleaner missed a couple areas and the chair was stained but everything else was great. Gym was still a bit neglected cleaning wise but it was free/empty pretty much all the time. Super happy with our stay as always, friendly and accommodating staff except one girl who didn't seem to speak/understand English and kept trying to come in and clean our room while i was trying to work, and had to argue her out of the room. Thankfully when her supervisor came to our room shortly after and we explained to her also that we didn't need housekeeping, she quickly understood we were fine. Clearly juat a language and cultural barrier with the other girl. Must have been her first day or something. No worries. :)

tars I had an amazing stay at this hotel! From the moment I walked in, the experience was top-notch. Blaine at the front desk was incredibly welcoming, professional, and helpful—he really set the tone for the whole visit. The check-in process was smooth, and he went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. The room was spotless, the amenities were great, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for exceptional service!

I can’t say enough good things about the staff at this hotel! All of them are so attentive, kind, and understanding! The breakfast always had fresh fruits, which was nice. There’s also plenty of parking, so there’s enough space for your car even when the hotel is packed. The pool is extremely clean. The area itself is a bit questionable, but the hotel feels safe. Also the patio outside is the cutest.

Gives more a 3-star vibe than the 2-star Google listing so I was impressed. Staff was friendly, good spot for dogs and I didn't hear the trains from my room which was as close as you could get to the tracks. Gluten free bread and almond milk available for breakfast so I was happy! The little social media rubber ducky was a nice touch!

Winnipeg – Vibes, Martinis & Fried Chicken! I drank espresso martinis all night (and yes, they’re the best I’ve ever had — absolutely to die for!). Pair that with the crispiest, juiciest fried chicken dinner, and you’ve got the perfect night in. The hotel itself was lovely, hospitable, and super welcoming, especially with me being from Australia — they made me feel right at home. 🛎️ Great service, amazing cocktails, and comfort food done right. 🌃 Just a heads-up: I wouldn’t wander outside alone at night — the area can get a little rowdy. But once you’re inside, it’s all warmth, good vibes, and indulgence. Highly recommend if you’re after a cozy stay with top-tier cocktails and comfort food.

Nice and open, big seating area for breakfast. Photo op in lobby with props. Lovely front desk staff. Clean. Got a cute Super 8 rubber duck! Only con was fan not working in bathroom. Other guests said the squeaking of the trains were loud in their room, I didn’t have that issue.

This was by far the best hotel we have stayed at, super clean, modern Rooms with good beds and at a great price. Excellent location with lots of parking. But where this hotel really was the best was the Amazing staff everyone from corporate manager, the general manager tight down to the house keepers where super friendly and did their best to make my stay and the stay of of crew a truly great experience. After staying here it makes me want to change some my other 5 star hotel down to four.

The Best Western Plus Pembina Inn & Suites hotel in Manitoba offers guests a tranquil setting with complimentary WiFi and hot breakfast. The indoor pool, gym, and hot tub add value to the stay, while rooms are comfortable and modern.
Stayed at this hotel for one night and it was refreshing stop we needed. The rooms were clean, we had a blast in the pool, the staff member that greeted us was very friendly and breakfast was delicious. We are travelling with 2 dogs, so the off leash pet space was super appreciated and very cute. Very happy with our experience.

Second time staying at this hotel. Really like it's location being on an easy route and distance to get to various places throughout Winnipeg. Also nice to have the Splash Dash River boat cruise right behind the hotel! Hotel room was nice and the continental breakfast had good variety. There was even two bus loads of Regina Rams football players staying, and continental breakfast still ran smoothly! All staff was helpful and friendly, even saying hi in passing. Special shout out to Harmon (sp) for exceptional customer service skills!

A very nice stay! The staff were professional and helpful. The building and rooms were clean and well maintained. Only the hot tub wasn't up to this standard - it has a brown film bubbling up on the surface and around the edges. The water slide is great fun!

Been coming back here for probably 15 years. The owner is a real great guy. The staff is all great and many have also been there for many years. What's not to like? Their TV systems are pretty fantastic, if you have any spare time to kill. Mini fridge, microwave, black out shades. Hot water. Everything is very clean. Lots of food within walking distance. Groceries, car rental. All super close. I wouldn't even look for anything else.

I am a resident of Ontario, and my employer had an out-of-country trip to send me on in June 2025. Since I had some personal business to attend to in Winnipeg, I got my employer to reroute my return trip through Winnipeg. They got me a ticket that had me landing in Winnipeg on Sunday June 15, 2025, at around 12:10 am. Consequently, on June 1, 2025, I searched online for hotels to lodge in during a visit to Winnipeg. I narrowed down my selection to 2 hotels, one of which was the Best Western Plus Pembina Inn & Suites on 1714 Pembina Highway. The other hotel had some negative reviews about the complimentary breakfast offered there, so I called Best Western at about 8:59 pm Ontario time (please see attached screenshot) to ask them some questions that I had about their services in general. An Indian gentleman picked the call and answered my questions. I specifically informed him that I had noticed that their check-in time was 3 pm but that I would be arriving in town after midnight on Sunday morning; I asked him if I could still check in that early on my reservation, and he said I could very well do so. Based on the information that I obtained from the gentleman, I proceeded to book a reservation at Best Western shortly after the call. A screenshot of my reservation’s confirmation email is also attached. To my shock, when I arrived the hotel early on Sunday, the gentleman (Shuane) that I met at the front desk said that I could not check in at the time, and that I had to either wait till 3 pm to check in, or pay extra money to lodge in a room before my 3 pm check in. I protested and told him about my conversation with his colleague on June 1, I even showed him the call log from that date and asked him to confirm whether or not an Indian gentleman was on their schedule on the day and time I called. Shuane was quite empathetic, but said there was not much he could do until his Manager came in later in the morning. Exhausted from my long trip (I had a 7-hour layover in Toronto), I had to pay an extra $244.99 just to sleep in till 3 pm! When I woke up later that morning, I emailed the Manager (Jenny) to register my displeasure with what had transpired earlier in the day. I then went to see her to discuss the issue. Jenny said she understood my frustration, but that she believed that it must have been a misunderstanding in communication between me and the gentleman I had spoken to on June 1. She reiterated that 3pm was their check-in time and offered to halve the amount ($244.99) that I was charged to sleep that morning. I responded and said it would only be fair for the whole amount to be refunded since I had been misled by her staff. I then told her to speak to speak to the guy who I spoke to on June 1 to confirm whether or not he asked me to check in that early and she promised to do so. Jenny later confirmed to me that she had spoken to the gentleman, but that he denied any recollection of the conversation that I had with him. She also told me that Best Western is continuously training their staff to avoid situations like the one I was facing. Based on the foreging, I am rating the Best Western on 1714 Pembina a "1". For organizations to earn the trust and loyalty of their customers, they need to demonstrate integrity at all times. It was unfair for a Best Western staff to mislead me into believing that I could check in earlier at their hotel at no extra cost, only to charge me for doing so. It is good that Jenny – the General Manager – later halved the charge for the few hours sleepover that I had that morning, but I don’t believe that I should have been charged at all in accordance with what their staff told me before I made the reservation. By the way, it occurred to me later on that some organizations do record phone calls made to them. If Best Western does so, they may please check the recording of the conversation that I had with their staff on June 1 (starting at 7.59 pm, Manitoba time) confirm whether or not my assertion is correct.

We stayed here for one night with our 2 year old and baby and it was perfect! Nice, clean and quiet hotel! Amazing pool amenities with waterslide. While the breakfast isn't quite the quality of a restaurant, it was still good and so convenient to not have to leave with the kids. For people with dogs, there is a dog park beside the parking lot which I think is an amazing addition.

Good service and clean room with comfortable mattresses. Travelled with my dogs and truly appreciated the outside enclosed pet area (my dogs appreciated it more than I did!). I also appreciated the pet package that we received at check in - cookies, blankets and bags plus towels (first hotel I’ve been given pet towels - such a great idea!). We and our dogs had a great stay!

Nice rooms & CLEAN! GOOD SERVICE aswell. I heard everything in the hallways from my room but quiet at night!! only thing I didn't like was the location is full of thieves but that's not the motels fault, just beware when staying here don't leave nothing in your vehicles!

Nice clean rooms, good service. But out of town so you can’t get an Uber. No shops, restaurants or anything within walking distance . It’s fine if you have a car or rental. No breakfast - only a muffin. Very pet friendly. A bit noisy as it’s on the trans Canada highway.

Location is great easy to find, Rooms are clean, staff seems friendly. There is no list for working tv channels. The tv service is really terrible. I am staying here on days off and just want to watch some tv. But only found maybe 5 working channels out of what is in the guide. Over all ok experience minus tv Price wasn't what I was expecting for what you get.

This is a great motel! Rooms are new, clean, big tvs and have comfortable beds and OEKO-TEX pillows. We brought our dog as well and they stayed for free, there's also a small dog park in the back. Would definitely stay here again, especially with the reasonable rates. A little bit of a drive into the city but not bad. Staff was also very nice.

Holiday Inn & Suites Winnipeg-Downtown is an IHG Hotel, which means its guest rooms offer a modern design with features like 37-inch flat-panel satellite TVs and free Wi-Fi. It's located near cultural attractions, including the Winnipeg Convention Center, and it also has an indoor pool and fitness center. The Peppermill Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, room service is also available, and guests can enjoy a city view from most of the rooms.
For an area that is supposed to be terrible within Winnipeg, this hotel has been amazing! Staff are incredible and kind, always accommodating every request without question. Me and my mother got up at 12:30pm, long after they stopped serving breakfast, and they still reopened the kitchen to make us food before we left for the day. On top of that, the rooms are gorgeous and well taken care of. Even with all the construction going on they have maintained amazing service and comfortability. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay on my trip.

I stayed here with my 10-year-old son for a playoff watch party, picking this location because it was close to the Canada Life Centre and had a pool and breakfast included. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the start. No Pool Access, No Heads-Up: The pool was closed and no one mentioned it beforehand — not during booking, not at check-in. That was a big reason we chose this hotel, and we felt misled. Breakfast Confusion: I prepaid for breakfast through Expedia, but at check-in I was handed a menu with prices. Staff were confused I had even booked it. The food was poor quality and definitely not worth the price. Unsafe Atmosphere: There were people loitering and smoking weed and cigarettes right at the entrance. Security was on-site but did nothing except stop them from entering. My son felt unsafe, and so did I. Not a family-friendly environment. Poor Communication & Slow Elevators: The second set of entrance doors requires a room key 24/7, but no one told us. There’s a small sign tucked to the side, but it was easy to miss. Only two elevators, both extremely slow and often shared with housekeeping carts full of dirty linens. Parking Felt Risky: The parking lot is exposed and barely monitored. While my car was fine, broken glass showed someone else wasn’t so lucky. Room Was Decent, But Not Perfect: The room was bright and mostly clean, but the floor had long hairs from a previous guest. The beds were comfortable, and maintenance was quick to fix our TV. Bottom Line: Between the lack of transparency, unsafe surroundings, and poor communication, I wouldn’t recommend this place for families. Once renovations are done and management tightens things up, maybe it’ll improve — but right now, I wouldn’t return.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but my recent stay at Holiday Inn Downtown Winnipeg was so awful that I feel like I have to warn others. From the moment I walked in, I knew something was off. The front desk staff looked like they’d rather be anywhere else. No smile, no greeting, no information — just handed me the room key like I was an inconvenience. I asked a simple question about parking, and the response was short and borderline rude. When I got to the room, it honestly looked like it hadn’t been cleaned properly. There was a strong musty odor that hit me immediately. The carpet was dirty and stained, and the bedding looked wrinkled and suspicious — not something you want to sleep on. The bathroom was the worst part: mold in the shower, hair on the sink, and a toilet that barely flushed. I was disgusted. Trying to sleep was impossible. The walls are paper thin — I could hear full conversations from the room next door and loud hallway noise all night. There was also a lot of noise from the street outside, and the windows did nothing to block it out. The area around the hotel didn’t feel safe either, especially after dark. I was nervous even going out to grab food. I brought up my concerns to the front desk the next morning, and they couldn’t have cared less. No apology, no offer to switch rooms, no compensation. Just blank stares and a half-hearted “we’ll let housekeeping know.” What kind of service is that? This stay felt like a complete waste of money. It’s shocking that this place carries the Holiday Inn name. I’ve stayed in budget motels that were cleaner, friendlier, and safer than this. Do yourself a huge favor — don’t stay here. There are better hotels in Winnipeg, even nearby, that will treat you with respect and provide a basic standard of cleanliness.
Shivansh K — Google review
I was here for a conference. When I checked in, I did not realize that the hotel was under renovation. None of the amenities were available. However, the staff was extremely accommodating and was able to get me access to the nearby Radisson Hotel to use their fitness facility. Breakfast at this time was a la carte and you can order it front desk in the morning. The quality of the breakfast was good. I was given a room on the top floor of the hotel which was a one bedroom suite. I really liked that decor. It was fresh, new, and most importantly functional. One potential improvement in the future is perhaps the windows. They do not shield you from the street noise and it is quite noisy in the evenings and early hours of the morning. A set of ear plugs would be advised. I was able to communicate with the manager and she was extremely helpful and attentive. I get the feeling that this hotel is well managed. I look forward to coming back when it is fully renovated.

My stay was a letdown. Issues with room cleanliness, maintenance, and limited pool hours. Friendly staff, but communication breakdowns on room assignments and parking. Not worth the price.also abusive language in hotel lobby with evacuees

AVOID THIS HOTEL!! Reserved a Standard King room for the night. Called the hotel that morning to let them know that I wouldn't be checking in until late due to flight times. When I arrived at the hotel to check in, I was notified that the room I reserved was given away and all that they had was a queen. No apology and no reimbursement made as I had booked through a third party site and the customer service was terrible. I was offered free parking but did not have a vehicle. In addition, there were kids running through the halls until 2am making it impossible to sleep, even with earplugs. I called the front desk to complain just after midnight and then security was pounding on my door at 1am to ask what was wrong. Terrible experience overall!

It's not a good hotel to stay and definitely not safe. The security guards don't do anything and are on their phones, also i don't think the cameras are working. If youb report something o need help with they won't help you. We take the elevator and its soo scary, but also it smells really bad. Pets are allowed, but there is a fee for over 14 nights and 78 USD (100 CAD) for stays between 15 and 28 nights.
I loved staying at this hotel!! Firstly the very nice staff give you a bottle of water at check in. The room was clean and had everything you need. I went down to the gym which is perfect. It has a peloton bike and all the essentials of a gym. The pool is warm and right beside the gym. The breakfast is fantastic. Its a full breakfast with eggs, sausage, bagels, fruit, etc. To cap it off we were there on a wednesday and they had a happy hour with free drinks and appetizers!!! Highly recommend this hotel!!!!

My daughter and I highly recommend this hotel. Everything from spacious comfortable rooms, great food and amenities as well as wonderful staff. Our room was like a small apartment as it included a small kitchen with a sitting area, as well as everything needed and more. There's a microwave, cooktop, small fridge/freezer, dishwasher and even a garburator. There was a sitting area like a small living room separated from the sleeping area with a TV that swivels around to either face the living room or the bedroom. The bathroom area has good storage with a cupboard and a two drawer dresser, as well as a washroom with a nice walk-in shower. We really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast each morning and appreciated the variety available. The pool and hot tub was a very relaxing space, and the gym area was really nice with lots of different machines. Both of those areas were kept in a clean condition. The staff from the kitchen, housekeeping, and cleaning folks were so kind and helpful. That includes the front desk staff as well, especially Tasim. There were also some items you could borrow such as board games and cards, as well as additional kitchen items like a toaster, kettle, and blender. The location is great with many stores within walking distance (including groceries and a huge outlet mall, and an Ikea). We also took a quick Uber ride to the Assiniboine Park Zoo and enjoyed seeing many animals including polar bears. Our stay was almost for two weeks and we were grateful to have such a nice experience here.

Very impressed by this hotel. Our room was so spacious, had all the features that make it feel homey. Loved the mini kitchen and living area. Beds are super soft. The breakfast was diverse, stocked, delicious. We had a little welcome bag of snacks in our room which was a very sweet surprise. A very comfortable stay, friendly atmosphere, and all the inclusions you could dream for. The borrow menu for things like board games, kettle, yoga mat, steamer, was SO appreciated.

We stayed at Hyatt House Winnipeg and it was such a wonderful experience. The room was spacious, very clean, and the bed was super comfortable — we had a great sleep. The breakfast buffet had a nice variety. The hotel itself has great amenities — the swimming pool and gym were really nice, and they also have a little mini store beside the front desk where you can grab chips, candies, or other small things you might need. During our stay, the hotel bar had a promo of $12 for chicken wings, which was delicious and affordable. The lounge in front of the check-in counter was also a cozy spot to relax and wait. The staff really made the stay even better. The front desk person (Male) who helped us at checkout was wonderful, and the waitress at the bar was amazing — so friendly and attentive.

We stayed at Hyatt House and found the rooms cozy and comfortable. Breakfast had a good variety of options, and the amenities were well maintained. Our room was near the rec room and close to the parking lot, so when someone with a sports car tried to show off, the noise was a bit disturbing, though it did not last long. Overall, it is a nice place to stay with friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere.

Great hotel to stay at when visiting Winnipeg! Rooms were clean, staff was amazing. The overall location is great - close to shopping, restaurants and stuff to do. One downfall was parking - it was very busy at the hotel (college move in weekend, and other events), and the Rec Room that is next door to the hotel is busy; so parking was definitely a challenge…. There were spots, but took a bit to find.

We've stayed here a couple of times when in Winnipeg. Loved it both times. We will always come back here when not staying with relatives. Lovely, well-appointed, clean rooms. Nice staff. Good breakfast with a very nice eating area. Best crispy bacon we've had at a free hotel breakfast. I would love to see them do the crepes more often and have real maple syrup, but I did enjoy the soft boiled eggs as an option along with the hard boiled. The pool area could be cleaner throughout the day and evenings. We are a Hyatt member, so they give us bottles of water each day, but weirdly, the person delivering them knocked on the door at 11:30 pm to deliver them. At that time, just leave them outside so as not to disturb or scare the people in the room or deliver a lot earlier. The shower head is not fantastic as it doesn't stress nicely, but it's liveable. Other than that, we had a great time!! The staff is especially polite, friendly, and accommodating.

Awesome stay at Hyatt House with my toddler son and mom. We got the 1 bedroom suite and it was convenient space for the 3 of us. Upon arrival check in was quick and seamless. However, there was a "glitch" in their system and they charged us the incorrect amount - way more than was owed. However, they reassured us that the amount would be reimbursed. Their staff was so helpful, we asked for a crib and they provided us with a pack and play type of crib, easy to set up but the 1st one was broken and they came back up right away and gave us another one which was also flimsy but safe to use. They didn't do housekeeping daily but I asked for it because I was traveling with a child. The housekeeping overall was okay, we got new towels each day but didn't really have the room or floors cleaned which got dirty over the 4 days we were there. The rooms had a bit of dust I could tell from opening and closing the sofa bed. But other than that it was pretty clean. I used the gym and pool which was fun. The breakfast was simple yet nourishing, they had bakery items, eggs sausage and granola, fruit and a variety of drinks. The staff working in the kitchen was exceptional, the nicest and sweetest lady! Even though there were a few glitches the service was great here. I would stay here again. Highly recommend!

Wyndham Garden Winnipeg Airport offers a relaxed stay with understated rooms, an indoor pool, a gym, and two dining outlets. Guests have praised the hotel's security measures for parking, making it ideal for bikers. The location is convenient, being close to shopping areas and restaurants. The staff are known for their friendliness and excellent service. Overall, the hotel provides a great experience with top-notch hospitality and is highly recommended by many guests.
The rooms were quite nice, spacious and lots of counter tops!! Though the ceilings look kinda out of place.. other than that everything is perfect! The customer service is amazing and kind, they were patient when our key card wouldn’t work—twice.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Wyndham and wanted to share my experience. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with a modern and welcoming atmosphere that immediately makes you feel comfortable. The rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and thoughtfully appointed, offering a relaxing environment to unwind after a long day. The service throughout my stay was excellent. The staff were professional, friendly, and accommodating, always ready to assist with any request. One aspect I truly appreciated was how the team went above and beyond to make sure my stay with a reactive dog was as smooth as possible. They provided helpful advice and resources, ensuring both my pet and I felt at ease during our visit. However, while the hotel offers great amenities, the location is less ideal due to its proximity to the airport. Throughout my stay, the constant sound of emergency service vehicles passing by created some noise disruptions, which might be an issue for light sleepers or those seeking a more tranquil environment. Overall, this Wyndham is a fantastic choice for those looking for a beautifully appointed hotel with excellent service, but it may not be the best option if peace and quiet are a priority due to its location near the airport. Despite this, the hotel’s accommodations and the staff’s attentiveness made my stay a pleasant one, and I would still recommend it for anyone in the area.

This was the first indigenous owned hotel so I went there to support the community but the rooms were not clean. Water was not passing through and it smells bad. Although it was a new building but was not kept very well. It was super noisy my next room guests were shouting and playing load music at around midnight. I ended up asking the reception to ask them to be quiet but they still shouted till morning I couldn't sleep even for one hour and I had meetings all day :( Don't recommend it.

On September 23rd, I arrived at Wyndham Garden Inn in Winnipeg with three colleagues. We had four rooms reserved for three nights, all with confirmation numbers from Expedia and the hotel. Despite this, when we arrived around 11:30pm, the front desk clerk informed us that the hotel was overbooked and our reservations would not be honored—even though our bookings were clearly visible in the hotel’s system. What was most aggravating was the staff’s complete lack of concern for our situation. The clerk made no effort to help us find accommodations, nor did he offer any apology or even a bottle of water. When asked if he was checking other hotels, he simply replied, “No,” and returned to whatever he was doing, leaving us stranded in the lobby at midnight. The attitude was matter-of-fact, telling four guests they might have to sleep on the street was just another routine part of the job. To make matters worse, when I sarcastically thanked the clerk for his “help,” a security guard who had appeared laughed at our predicament. When I confronted the guard, he nonchalantly said it wasn’t the clerk’s fault. The clerk then admitted that management was aware this had happened before, but clearly, Wyndham Garden Inn Winnipeg has no interest in addressing these failures or caring for its guests. We spent hours on the phone with Expedia and searching for other hotels, eventually finding two rooms at another property at 4am for the first night and securing accommodation for the rest of our stay—entirely without any help from Wyndham or Expedia. The indifference and lack of accountability shown by the staff was astonishing. I am horrified and so should anyone reading this review how much worse this situation would have been had I been elderly or a much younger version of myself traveling with a newborn. If this occurred in January in Winnipeg at -40c you would be reading my obituary rather than this review. This is not an exaggeration. While the hotel itself looked ok, I seriously doubt Wyndham’s commitment to customer service. No guest should ever be treated this way.

Smokey everywhere. Navigate a barrage of butts in the lobby entrance. Non smoking rooms except the bathroom reeks of residual smoke. Booked for four people but only had three towels. Call down for replacements no sorry housekeeping is closed. Expensive though I'd be getting a bit higher level of service. Wouldn't return.

Spacious rooms and clean. The place is starting to get outdated but a good place to stay. Good restaurant downstairs too. 5 to 10 mins walkable distance to movie theater, grocery, Best Buy, Canadian Tire, food chains, etc.

The room was clean, fairly recently renovated, and had everything we needed. The staff were great and helped us as needed. The problem was the smell each morning of bacon, beer, and cigarettes in the elevator, and the fighting outside and subsequent man bleeding out on the couches in the lobby. Won't stay again, even though the hotel itself is pretty nice.

Residence Inn Winnipeg is a relaxed hotel conveniently located near the airport, offering spacious quarters with impressive kitchens. While it's family-friendly and features an indoor water park, it may not be ideal for those traveling on business due to potential noise. The modern and clean rooms, along with the friendly service and complimentary breakfast, make for a comfortable stay. Additionally, its proximity to shops, restaurants, and attractions adds to the overall convenience of this property.
1 bedroom king suite was spacious and modern. Generally had a good stay, convenient location sandwiches between the airport and downtown. Breakfast had a great selection. Some areas of improvement: -Gym can use some more equipment for strength training instead of just cardio -coffee station can use more variety creamers orn syrups -lots of hallway noise from the living space, though much quieter in the bedroom

I recently stayed at the Residence Inn by Marriott Winnipeg and had a pleasant experience overall. The suites are spacious, clean, and well-equipped with full kitchens, making them ideal for extended stays. The comfortable beds and quiet atmosphere contributed to restful nights. The complimentary breakfast offered a variety of options, including cereals, oatmeal, eggs, muffins, and bagels. Free on-site parking is a significant advantage. Service at the front desk wasn't that welcoming or friendly. Very matter of fact.

I had a fantastic experience staying at the Residence Inn by Marriott. The amenities truly make it stand out—there’s a clean indoor swimming pool, well-equipped gym, and convenient on-site laundry facilities, which made my stay comfortable and hassle-free. Free parking is available on site, which is a big plus. I also appreciated the 24/7 coffee station in the lobby—perfect for early risers or late-night arrivals. The complimentary breakfast every morning had a great variety of options and was well-stocked and fresh. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Highly recommend for both short and long stays—Residence Inn really makes you feel at home!

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this hotel. As I inspected my room to ensure my damage deposit secured, I found my bar stool stained and showed the receptionist the concern bcause their room phone doesn't work. Second, I requested for a little spacious room to accomodate my guest but it took them more than a couple of hrs. before they got back to me which I opted to enjoy my stay and disregard the offer to check other room as I have guest already. Room temperature was a mess. The safety standards were not met. Two people came at my door punching/kicking my door twice and yes the hotel phone doesn't work so I have to use my phone and wait for the receptionist to pick-up which caused a delay. A guest decided to leave due to health issues due to the said incident. A manager on duty was apologetic but, it already happened and a security would be helpful (no cctv). At midnight, the disturbance of fire alarm was on that triggers the guest to exit the hotel for safety. I know it is the standard but apparently, someone might pull the alarm and they couldn't tell the main reason as per the general mngr, Sabrina. To make matters worse, the room phone didn’t work, which made it difficult to communicate with the staff. I decided to leave and check-out the same day to save myself from stress and the experience ruined our stay. The customer care service was far below expectations. I decided not to stay for the night after feeling unsafe and dissatisfied with the lack of attention to these concerns. The general manager was remorseless and unhelpful when I raised these issues since she is not present when all these happened. Not even a single sorry from her. I reached out to Marriott's customer hotline for assistance, but unfortunately, they just sent me an email being sorry and that's it. I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience. This is not really a Marriott but a franchise. Restaurant ❌️ Parking ✔️ Cctv on-site ❌️ Security ❌️ (I haven't seen one) Wheelchair accessibility ✔️ Shopping store nearby: Walmart and Polo Park

Great breakfast, spacious and nicely appointed rooms, but I don’t know if I’ll ever stay here again. I had a long stay for work so I appreciate the full kitchens (mine even had an oven). Room space and atheistic were great but had leaks to the outside around the air conditioner that made it cooler even with the heat turned up. The location was optimal for my work but was also part of the problem due to its location in Winnipeg. Breakfast was among the best I’ve ever had in a hotel and I stay at a lot of hotels but the stay here was challenging. Some of the clients can be quite rough. We could hear, on more than one occasion, screaming matches on our floor and one night a physical fight that ended in the police breaking up and wrestling down a fight against our door. It’s not all the hotels fault, I know this and I believe the staff did their best. It looks great but if you are coming for a long work stay and need your rest, be aware that the location and some clients (especially on weekends) may cause some bumps in your time here.

I had family come visit from out of town and they need an accessibility room and this hotel hits all the high notes. They have stayed in many hotels that say they accessibly designed but definitely are not with tiny bathrooms, towels, hair dryer stored so high you have to step up onto the bathtub to reach them to a sole sink with no vanity. The Residence is designed very well for quests who are in a wheelchair to anyone with mobility issues. Shower has no lip and big enough for a wheel chair to drive in. Lots of room in the main living area and bedroom area to move about in a wheel chair and great parking close to the door with excellent designed ramp etc.

My room smelled like cigarettes. I also left property and called the hotel two hours after checking out. Of course house keeping saying they didn’t find anything. I know house keeping does keep belongings and lie about it saying they didn’t find anything. Also work up to my vehicle window being completely smashed. I called the hotel and they keep saying house keeping hasn’t located anything. Lies I know for a fact I left my property behind.

We wanted to have a room for a "staycation" this may-long since usually we would be heading to the States (but given the current climate and tarrifs, we opted to spend our money in Manitoba). We got one of the suites with the full kitchen, and when they say full kitchen- it's a full kitchen. Full size stove and range, full size fridge, lots of countertops and comes with all your plates/utensils etc. This is a huge perk when you have kids - much easier to cook their favourite meal then try to order something they'll eat. Another plus- continental breakfast - a great spread of food, lots of options, very tasty. The only downside honestly was the pool. This hotel boasts being kid friendly with a very kid friendly designed pool - it absolutely is, but what it isn't is warm. The pool was FEEEZING. I went with my husband and toddler, and all of us couldn't last more than 20 mins. The slide was fun, the pool would be perfect for my son - except it was way too cold. A couple degrees difference and I'd be raving about this place, but the pool was a big letdown because of the temperature.

The Fort Garry Hotel, Spa and Conference Centre is a beautiful hotel with an excellent spa. The hotel has stunning architecture and elegant interiors. It also offers free Wi-Fi and morning newspapers. The Chateau-style Fort Garry Hotel was originally built to house the staff of the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway. It's a great place for history buffs as both the naval museum and railway museum are only a few minutes away.
A beautiful historical location. The front desk personal are helpful and informative. The rooms all have their own character and are lovely. The dinning rooms atmosphere reflects historical aspects and the food is good. The service is amazing! The ballrooms are perfect for events and the staff is excellent. The spa is first class and worth the price for the services offered. You must try it. The hotel is in walking distance from the Forks.

My friend and I stayed in a suite for three nights.. today was the last.. I have never had better service in my life.. the servers and bartenders in the restaurants are the best loveliest most professional I have ever encountered .. the spa was so relaxing top notch and well run I can't believe it.. the hotel staff from the front desk to the cleaners to the random people in the office could not be lovelier.. a true destination hotel with the most brilliant view of Winnipeg.. the history and beauty of the hotel cannot be overstated! A true experience. The food rivals and likely exceeds the best I've ever had.. we will be making a yearly visit. 💕💕 the seafood platter.... ack and WOW!!

The staff and accommodations were just amazing. The Ten Spa was outstanding. I had the full Hamam and the experience was out of this world. I would recommend this to anyone especially if you have never had it done. The Italian restaurant had incredible food and service. It was a great stay. The hotel is in a great location near the Forks Market, Via train station, downtown area and the Human Rights Museum.

I have stayed here quite a few times over the years. I love a historic hotel. Plus, the bed linens are like falling onto a cloud. I stayed in bed an extra hour because it was so comfy. However, I am not a fan of the 4 pm check-in. The desk clerk suggested we might be able to chek in early, which is why I wa enjoying this delicious Empress gin and tonic. Unfortunately, we waited an hour and the could not get us into our room. Fair. It's a 4 pm checkin, but we were going to a 4pm matinee, and it would have been nice to check in before going to the theater. Other than that, terrific service in the bar and at breakfast. Parking is tight, but it's convenient if you can find a space. We will be back, but heed my advice and only book on their official site. I wasn't paying attention when I clicked and paid too much for the room. Caveat emptor, right?

Nice hotel!! Very elegant looking. Nice rooms (each is a little different it seems), with very comfortable beds (memory foam mattresses!), but the bathrooms are quite old and the cable TV is underwhelming. (They could use some specialty channels.) I had requested a kettle when booking a few months in advance, yet did not receive one despite following up several times after check-in and was eventually told they had distributed them all and had none left at that point. That part was disappointing (given how much in advance I had made the request). Overall, good experience though.

I went to bed late 2am and my bed was wet. They changed rooms for us. And changed my pillows from feathers. The pictures are creepy in the rooms but I found out it was a haunted hotel so people like that. We went to the pool next door a lot. It was lovely. Front desk Night staff was amazing and friendly compared to day staff.

Fabulous find! We were treated like kings and queens even though we were travel weary drivers. The hotel is historical and gorgeous. The lobby is amazing. The staff is so welcoming and accommodating from the front door to the front desk to the Oval Room. The rooms are comfortable and the location is perfect! Great stay, splurge if you can!

We have done a few events at the Fort Garry Hotel over the last few years. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the staff just as friendly and accommodating. We do find that because the hotel was built so long ago it is a bit more difficult for us to unload our equipment, maneuver everything to the location we are setting up and setting up but each time it seems to get easier. The banquet staff are very helpful and understand the challenges, giving options. The venue is so romantic with a cozy feel!

The Hampton Inn by Hilton Winnipeg Airport/Polo Park is a great choice for travellers looking for an airport hotel with free hot breakfast and WiFi. It also features a indoor saltwater pool, shuttle to Polo Park Shopping Centre and flight schedule information.
We stayed for our Anniversary in the King Jacuzzi suite and it was 10 out of 10! From the moment we arrived everything was perfect. The staff are all welcoming, knowledgeable, and wonderful. The room was immaculate and had the most comfortable bed ever! There are so many amenities- huge hair & body care products available, little extra touches in case you forgot as well. The pool and hot tub were wonderful. The workout room was outstanding! No noise disturbances overnight so we slept soundly. Breakfast had everything you’d need- sausages, potatoes, oatmeal, waffles (chocolate and regular with topping like whipped cream and more), pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, juices, boiled eggs, frittatas, 2 kinds of coffee (coffee/tea/hot chocolate bar is 24 hours), cereal. Every single staff member we encountered were so friendly and kind! Check out was a breeze. We had the best agent at check out that went above and beyond. His name is Golam and he made our day! We left so happy and pleased because of Golam so we want to acknowledge how top notch he is as an employee! Thank you so much for a memorable stay! We will be back again and again! Recommend 100%!

Staff was very helpful and friendly! Sharon at the front desk was easy to work with and chipper. Hope she enjoys her trip visiting her family in India! Room was spacious and clean. Pillows were kinda deflated but found another one in the closet. Pool and hot tub were great! And the fitness room is well equipped. Someone in the comments said it had much to be desired, but that’s incorrect. Dumbells up to 75 pounds, and a very nice cable machine.

Not bad, service was friendly although the business centre was "out of service" and when I asked to print some documents I was told there was a print fee. The rooms were decent, showered needed to be cleaned more though as i see a lot of mineral build up in the caulking and showerhead. Breakfast was standard North America, eggs in circle, white bread and others with little to no Fibre, coffee that is basically brown water to the average European. But I did appreciate the coffee and tea section to be available 24 hours. First desk upon arrival and check out was friendly.

I came to this hotel as part of an Ethics Bowl Canada team from BC, we received excellent accommodation and service. The location was great for getting food and hanging out after the tournament. The pool and gym facilities are clean, and genuinely useful. I also want to mention how excellent the staff are, from our transport to and from the airport, to the staff who helped us check in, and the management all around. Great time all around.

Our team stayed here for the 2025 Ethics Bowl Canada tournament at the Human Rights Museum. The hotel was simply perfect for our party of 8. The rooms were clean and ready when we arrived, the common area was always welcoming and the shuttles were easy and fast at all hours. Breakfast for several large groups was seamless and good. A wonderful hotel and staff were all lovely, too!

Can't believe this hotel is managed by Hilton. My family stayed with several Hampton hotels in North Sydney/NS, Thunder Bay/ON, Regina/SK. The stay in this hotel was the worst experience I ever had with Hampton Inn. List of issues: 1. Safety concern: Iot of homeless like people hanging around in hotel lobby and parking area. Front desk explained they were laid off people. I see there is a dedicated meeting room that has a sign 'G.H.A.N Command Center Emergency Evacuation'. I suggest hotel management should find a dedicated place to handle any emergency issue instead of a hotel service area as hotel guests paid money to stay here. 2. Room is dirty: The toilet had feces marks, the wash basin was clogged, the bathtub would not drain, there were water stains on the sofa, and there were many stains on the walls, curtains and roof. Overall I don't think this hotel is ready to serve people. This hotel should be managed in a professional manner. I took several photos of the issues. Please contact me if you have any questions and I can explain in detail.

Very pleased with our stay here. Spotless, recently renovated with modern decor, comfortable beds and amenities in the room , quiet and the shuttle to the airport and local restaurants was amazing. The Marlborough Hotel, situated in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada, offers a blend of classic charm and modern amenities. The historic hotel features elegant rooms with contemporary touches and serves breakfast to start the day right. Guests can also enjoy the hotel's pub and restaurant for delicious meals and drinks. The Joannas cafe within the hotel provides a serene setting with its 24-foot high space illuminated by natural light through west-facing windows.
I'm sure it was elegant at one point in time, maybe a hundred years ago. Now it's decrepit and running down. I ended up there overnight when my travel plans got sidetracked. The walls are literally falling apart in places, the carpet is filthy, there's a stench in the air, and it's just all around disgusting. My room was so gross. My bed was not something I would ever sleep in again. The shower head sprayed water and the toilet didn't really flush well. The window had no screen on it and it looked out onto another building and was frankly kind of scary. The pool was not accessible and the hallway leading to the pool was showing signs of a flood at one point. The air conditioner in my room did not work, it just kind of pushed air around. I would not recommend this for somebody who has reservations about staying in gross settings or really anyone lol. I honestly felt unsafe there. Check out was noon but I was gone way earlier.
Cheyenne K — Google review
Well it definitely wasn't what we expected. The pictures online must be quite dated, because the rooms were nothing to write home about... rooms were kinda dingy & dark, sheets didn't have a full coat of hair, but there were definitely a few stray ones. Bathtub had a couple extra holes, but the water stayed in most of the time. Bed was actually quite comfy, considering. It felt very eerie in the hotel, almost like as if someone would sneak around a corner and try & mug you. But thankfully Someone else was watching over us🙏 the night previously to when we got there, a customer had his vehicle broken into, so that caused some concern, but the security guard was very understanding & kind and said that we could park our vehicle where he could watch it during his work shift, which very was much appreciated. The hotel staff were very accommodating and we had no issues with checking in/ checking out etc. Definitely not a family getaway hotel, but if you get your thrills by living on the edge, then this place would definitely rate right up there🤔
Sam B — Google review
Definitely wouldn’t recommend staying here. There was brown stains on the mattress cover. Still a really long black hair in the shower bugs in the corners of the room in the cracks of the floor not to mention my friends AirPods were stolen out of the room because our door didn’t completely latch and the key card meant nothing to the door and to top it all off we had some drunk guy walk into our room while we were sleeping thinking it was his room. If I could give this hotel, zero stars I would.
Becca H — Google review
If I could give this hotel zero stars that is what’s I’d do. When we pulled up police were in the lobby. Apparently dealing with a situation which is a common occurrence. I thought perhaps we had the address wrong because this place looked more like a halfway house then a hotel. This is not the place I get out of my car. This is where I roll up my windows and lock the doors. We checked in and couldn’t get our room doors open. We had to go back to the front desk and they sent security up to open the doors which are apparently tricky. The hotel is dingy, stale and was nothing like what is advertised. We left immediately and are being denied a refund. A $200 damage deposit was placed on my cc. I had it retuned before we left 8 minutes later. The hotel then charged me the $200 again the next day without my consent or knowledge. We didn’t even enter our room. This hotel is unsafe and not clean. The staff are rude and not helpful. There is no parking. The entire experience was scary especially for 2 females travelling alone. Do not stay here.
Lyndsie — Google review
Wow. This place has really gone down hill. I mean.. It was always kind of a crash place to stay at when you were in town for a concert. But I would not recommend even doing that. The air conditioning sytem didn't work and had not been working for weeks (even though they fed me a line that it was being worked on that day and will be back on soon, I found out from other staff it's been broken for ages and will not be fixed...) the floor in the room was sticky. There was mice traps under the bed! Pretty well disgusting. ... The staff were nice enough and the lobby is nice. That's all I can say good about this place. Price was ridiculous considering the room....
Dustin B — Google review
Awful place to stay. Security was rude to my partner when he tried to go up to our room without me. No complimentary breakfast even though the site said it did. When asking the front desk they said they stopped doing it months before, so maybe they should take it off their site. Asked if the pool was open, was told it was out of service. Asked if their lounge was open, they said it was closed indefinitely. So basically everything they said they had was NOT available. The hotel smelled like old cigarette butts, stains on the carpets and walls. Ice machine was broken, 1 elevator was broken. Housekeeping came once, didn't leave any fresh towels just made 1 bed in a 2 bed room. Asked the front desk for fresh towels and was given 1 towel for my partner and I. No A/C, very hot in the room. When we looked out the window, our view was brick walls and old clothes and garbage outside. Honestly don't waste your money here, nothing good about this steaming dump hotel.
Ashley J — Google review
THIS IS NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES.This place is horrible. We had to switch rooms because it was too hot and we couldn’t breath. They said it’s been broken for years. On the door it had marks near the key hole as if people tried to break in. No windows and the elevator is very sketchy, the rooms have holes, burns, and even stains everywhere. Rust in the bathroom. The pool water was green and the slide was not working. The place had potential if they renovated everything and got a house cleaning that actually cleaned the rooms. Plus the wifi is so horrible. You might as well just stay at Canada Inn it is much better.
Prosper K — Google review
Let me start my saying that I have travelled to 31 different countries and stayed in countless hotels, motels, hostels, hell, even hammocks! This place was the worst place I have ever seen. When you are booking a room here, you may as well be reserving a $100+ room at the mission! My wife booked a room here for us, our 2 young children (1 and 4) and our dog. The first room we were given was 506, the deadbolt was broken, the AC and TV did not work, there was a cigarette burn on the toilet seat, the tub had no drain, just a hole and the sheets were stained. I went back down and asked for another room with no hassle at all. We were given 505, this was marginally better, however there were carvings on the dresser, yellowing sheets, vomit and blood stains on the bed dress and the bathroom ceiling looked like it was caving in. We decided to check out and asked for a refund. I let the manager know of our experience, he apologized and refunded our room with no hassle. The service here was very good. The front deck man was very friendly and accommodating of our request. I actually feel sorry for the employees who work here, I could just imagine what they have to deal with when less than understanding guests complain. Or even with the vagrants who appear to somehow get rooms here.

I’ve never left a negative review before, but my experience at the Quality Inn in Winnipeg was truly disappointing. From the moment I checked in, things went downhill. The front desk staff seemed disinterested and barely acknowledged my questions. The room I was given felt outdated and wasn’t very clean – stains on the carpet, a musty smell, and hair in the bathroom. Noise was also a major issue. The walls are paper-thin; I could hear everything from the neighboring rooms and the hallway, which made it nearly impossible to get a good night’s sleep. The air conditioning unit was extremely loud and barely worked. Breakfast was another letdown – very limited options, and the food that was available didn’t seem fresh. I ended up going elsewhere just to have a decent meal. Overall, this place didn’t meet basic expectations for comfort, cleanliness, or hospitality. There are definitely better options in Winnipeg for the same price or even less. I won’t be staying here again

If I Could leave a 0 star I would. Back in June I wanted to book a block in for my wedding that is happening in the city. They explained that they don’t offer a “soft block” where you can just reserve rooms without a credit card on file. You have to reserve a “hard block” where you put a card on file and have until a month before to cancel any remaining rooms that weren’t blocked so you don’t get charged. I asked to book 10 rooms and asked if for example if I only book 5 will they still get the group rate when I cancel the others, they said yes. Ok no problem I booked it and put my card on file. My mistake was having that conversation over the phone and not by email. Now that it’s a month out I called to cancel the remainder of un booked rooms. They’re now telling me that they have to cancel all the rooms and re book them but not under the group rate that was originally agreed upon. It’s ridiculous that they have these rules but don’t explain them, they even sent me an email after I first booked the hard block and in the email it just explained again to cancel a month out and nothing about if you don’t use all the rooms that and have to cancel than all will be voided and loose the group rate. If I knew that I would never had booked this hotel. It’s completely un fair that they didn’t do their jobs and explain it. I find it ridiculous they couldn’t just accept their mistake in not explaining or sending a proper email with the information and honouring the group rate. But instead it was do I want to keep the rooms or cancel them? It was very unprofessional and a complete waste of my time.

I was very disappointed by the level of customer service at the Quality Inn & Suites Winnipeg. From check-in to check-out, the staff seemed indifferent and unhelpful. When I raised concerns about the cleanliness and noise disturbances, I was met with dismissive attitudes and no real effort to address the problems. The front desk did not provide any solutions or compensation despite multiple complaints. It felt like customer satisfaction was not a priority. Communication was poor, and requests were often ignored or forgotten. Good customer service is essential, especially when issues arise during a stay. Unfortunately, this hotel fell far short of that standard. I would not recommend this location to anyone who values respectful and responsive staff.

If you're looking for a hotel that really lowers your expectations, look no further than this Quality Inn. Quality must be a joke—or maybe it’s short for “questionable quality,” because this place delivered like a soggy pizza on a rainy day. Let’s start with the room: a true time capsule from 1987, complete with faded curtains, a carpet that has clearly survived multiple plagues, and a mysterious smell I still can't identify (earthy? industrial? haunted?). The bed was so lumpy I considered checking under it for leftover laundry—or a small mammal. The walls are basically suggestions, not barriers. I now know more about the couple in the room next door than I do about some of my relatives. Thanks for the free audio drama, I guess? Breakfast was… creative. I’m still unsure what that “scrambled egg” was made of, but I admire the confidence it took to serve it. Coffee tasted like burnt regret, but it did wake me up—probably out of sheer confusion. In summary: if you’re into ironic travel experiences, this place is a must. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and sleep in your car. It might actually be cleaner.

Welcome to the Quality Inn… where the only thing “quality” is the name. Where do I begin? Checked in expecting a decent stay — instead, I got an unintentional horror movie experience. The room: Think “vintage,” but not in a cool retro way — more like the sheets haven’t been changed since Y2K. The bathroom looked like it lost a fight with a mop… and the mop never showed up. The bugs: Oh, they were thriving. I didn’t realize this was an all-inclusive stay for bedbugs. One even waved at me from the ceiling. Pretty sure I’m on a first-name basis with a few of them now. The ambiance: Around 2 AM, we were treated to a live-action episode of Cops in the lobby. Police, shouting, chaos. Honestly, the most exciting part of the trip — 5 stars for the drama, 0 stars for the sleep. Staff: Friendly in the way a vending machine is. You can press all the buttons you want — nothing helpful is coming out. Final verdict? Unless you’re studying insects, auditioning for Fear Factor, or enjoy the smell of mystery stains, run — don’t walk — to literally any other hotel.

Booked in but then changed plans. Hotel still charged my card for full stay. And no response from management at all. Don't book unless you are 100% sure of your plans. These guys will charge you even though you cancelled legitimately.
Salik R — Google review
Our experience at this property was highly unsatisfactory. We were charged a $700 damage deposit for what appeared to be routine cleaning, and were subsequently accused of causing damage, despite no evidence of any such issues. The manager, Siamack, seemed displeased when we decided to check out and relocate to another hotel, as we did not agree to pay double the rate for the same accommodations in the following weeks. I would advise prospective guests to exercise caution when considering this location.

The Canad Inns Destination Centre Health Sciences Centre is a comfortable and convenient hotel situated in Winnipeg, Manitoba, attached to the largest hospital in the city. It features two restaurants and a Starbucks cafe, as well as a fitness center and conference center. The hotel is perfect for guests looking for a place to stay while visiting Winnipeg or attending events at the MTS Centre or Arena.
Had an overall great experience here, sometimes I may have a difficult time depending on which staff is at the receptionist desk but my favorite is "Norjhon" who's very professional and gets right to the point. When it comes to giving vouchers to the kids I'm in charge of or booking gym time everyday she makes the process smoothly without complications or back and forth unless she believes there may have been an error. Great customer service and I hope she and the other guy "tall dude who wears a fancy business suit always" continue to thrive.

There are pros and cons but after this stay I feel the cons outweigh the pros. I am currently here for work related reasons. Last time I was here was about 6 years ago due to a sick family member in the hospital. I have stayed here both times due to convenience of location but both times here I have had this same issue and in the future I will not choose this hotel regardless of convenience. The elevators are extremely slow, busy, and huge lineups to get on. You don’t even have the option to use the stairs if you wanted to bypass the elevators. You need a room key to access the elevators which is fine but how is it that my key works to use the elevators but then won’t work to access my room. My key has stopped working to access my room 3 times now since I’ve been here this last week. I then have to do the entire process of waiting to use the elevators, go back to the lobby and have them make more keys for me then wait for the elevators again. It’s very aggravating. I am extremely diligent to make sure I keep my hotel keys separate from anything that might affect it (phone, credit cards, other electronics) and have kept it in its own pocket at all times and still it makes no difference. I have another 4 nights here so let’s see how many more times this happens. You can’t access the fitness room without booking a time and obtaining a separate key from the front desk to access it (once again, you have to go through the waiting for elevators process). That staff have been nothing but friendly and helpful and I have nothing bad to say about any of them but the hotel seriously needs to fix this system.

I stayed here to be close to a family member in the Health Sciences Centre. It is incredibly convenient for that purpose, but there is nothing else anywhere nearby (shopping, food, etc.) There were a few strange things about it: there is a "no visitors" rule, which I sort of understand, but I have only ever encountered this kind of paternalistic policy when travelling in Nunavut. You also have to schedule yourself into the fitness centre in advance, then go downstairs to get a special key to access it. There are three elevators, but the third one is reserved strictly for housekeeping during the day. This means that there are always long lineups to get in one. Again, never encountered this kind of practice at a hotel before. The housekeepers never really did housekeeping. I was there for a week and they gave be new towels once (by leaving them on the counter), and they gave me new coffee and coffee cups most days (but not all). Most of the hotel staff seemed quite pleasant and friendly except the woman who checked me in on my first night. She was who explained the "no visitors" rule and had me initial the paperwork to acknowledge. Additionally, my room included breakfast but she wanted me to attend the front desk every morning to pick up a voucher rather than just give them all to me at once. Fortunately when I went down on the first day to pick up a voucher, the different staff member had the good sense to just give them to me and write the dates on them Overall, the hotel served its purpose (medical travel), but I would never expect to spend that much money on this place otherwise.

Don't have any respect for neighborhood. I see them move their patrons onto the hospital property to smoke. Walking by the front filth makes you wonder how it's inside. The buffet sucks up on the second floor.

Amin, has been the best overall and taking my experience to a whole another level, upgrading our room to help accommodate me and my family and making sure medical had everything covered and there were no issues. Also going above his call and making sure we were taken care of emotional and mentally reassuring us it's like " our 2nd home " and we okay to stay as long as we need, in my eyes it's like he is a angel sent to us in disguise, a blessing for sure. I also want to add Olga to this review she took the time to accommodate and acknowledged us in our culture and asked about our language and asked how to speak our language then continues to greet us in our language she's beyond phenomenon in my eyes when someone takes time to recognize who you truly are and where you come from . can management makes sure this lady olga Is acknowledged and recognized for being also such a wonderful blessing. One more person I would like to Include is Paris, she took time to call and try her best to get all our arrangements in order it was beyond her control, and that didn't stop her it motivated her to get it advocated and get the service provider to understand how difficult it can be for us as a indigenous persons. I will surly be coming back to stay everytime I'm in Winnipeg for medical stay ♡ To all my relations, new friends and family Ekosi. I'll miss you till we see each other again ...♡

Cowboys Event Centre is a vibrant hub for country music enthusiasts in Winnipeg, offering an expansive and relaxed atmosphere. This two-story venue boasts a world-class stage that has welcomed renowned artists like Dierks Bentley and the Black Eyed Peas. With its NASA-inspired light show illuminating the dance floor, Cowboys creates an unforgettable experience. Guests rave about the lively ambiance, friendly staff, and top-notch drinks that keep the energy high throughout the night.
Cowboys is actually such a fun club. The music’s good (even if you’re not into country), the dance floor is always packed, and the vibe is just super fun. Everyone’s there to have a good time, and it’s always busy on weekends. Drinks come pretty fast, and the staff are chill. Sometimes there’s a line, but it’s worth it once you’re inside. Honestly, one of the best spots to go out!

The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, the drinks were top-notch, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. Everything just felt well-run and enjoyable from start to finish. If you’re looking for a fun night out with great vibes, this place is definitely worth checking out!

used to be my favorite club, but definitely not anymore. a super violent atmosphere where the security guards are encouraged to beat up young intoxicated guests (INCLUDING A 5ft TALL 100LB GIRL FOR NO REASON) i am extremely bruised and sore, i can’t even lift my arms above my head because security threw me around so bad. not to mention that i was drugged by a bartender, and assaulted by another customer on my birthday. i have no memory after 11pm may 3rd 2024. i woke up with my jaw chittering, i was dizzy but not nauseous, and extremely confused with a random man in my hotel room. i will never be returning.
