Araxi Restaurant & Oyster Bar is a renowned establishment in Whistler, known for its locally sourced Pacific Northwest cuisine and upscale atmosphere. The restaurant boasts an impressive track record with over 90% of its Tripadvisor reviews being Very Good-Excellent. The Bar at Araxi, along with its popular oyster bar, sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.
This is a more expensive restaurant but you get what you pay for. Every single drink was delicious and the service was outstanding. Our server was so personable and really helped with selections. Our meal was the best we had. This is truly a hidden gem.
Ashley B — Google review
I came here as a solo diner and I had the best experience and meal I've had in a long time. From the moment I entered I was treated like royalty, and this continued until the time I left. I had the best meal I've had in a long time-- and the best service I've ever had. The oysters were fresh and sweet, the octopus was some of the best I've ever had, and the lamb was melt in your mouth. I'm so impressed with the food! The only thing better than the food was the service. Thank you Araxi team. I will remember this experience for a long time.
R. A — Google review
Definitely make a reservation because this restaurant is quite popular and it was packed when we visited. The service was okay. A few things that we requested (bread for example) required multiple reminders and by the time it arrived, it was too late. The 4 course prix-fixe menu was so affordable that it'd be hard to beat that price for what you get. The desserts were solid. Seafood options were comparatively better than the meat options but their cocktails and wine pairing didnt meet our expectations. Overall still a great restaurant to try because the food is very affordable and filling and the restaurant is quite cozy.
Ayush K — Google review
In addition to its main dining room, Araxi has a private venue. Our wedding party of 30 was hosted in the restaurant’s warm and inviting cellar, with just enough room for the two piece band. The bride and groom had researched food options well, and after we were treated to an amazing 3-tiered seafood tower, we found the three mains of beef tenderloin, wild BC Sablefish, and mushroom risotto to be perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The service staff members were friendly, attentive, and efficient, and did a superb job of keeping everyone fed and watered throughout the evening. All told, it was a terrific experience.
David R — Google review
The seafood tower is great because you can enjoy a variety of seafood. The oysters are small but fresh, and the various types of salmon are great for a variety of tastes. I highly recommend the Beff Tartare. It's not salty, the portions are generous, and it's fresh.
JS L — Google review
Been here several times but first time trying their fall prix fixe 4 course menu. Unlimited bread with butter and vinaigrette. Tuna tataki with ponzu pearls was an interesting twist. The lamb sirloin was over cooked, and halibut was dry. Black Forest cake was very dense and delicious.
Angie — Google review
We were visiting Whistler during our trip to Vancouver and got hungry after the Jeep tour, so we made a last minute reservation at this restaurant and it turned out to be a great choice! The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. Our server, Arcy, was incredibly helpful in recommending dishes and drinks and stayed attentive throughout our meal. Next time we’re in Whistler, we’ll definitely be back, now we know where to find great food and outstanding service!
Emry B — Google review
My husband and I went for the prix fixe menu, with add-on of 6 x oysters and ala-carte drinks. Food was great only comment from us is that the sablefish has a strong fishy smell that we didnt like it. Personally, I prefer the food and the service at Araxi better than II Caminetto although they are under the same restaurant group.

Splitz Grill is a popular spot in Whistler known for its affordable and delicious food. The menu features customizable burgers made with beef, chicken, or veggie patties and a wide variety of toppings including bacon, mushrooms, pineapple, and peppers. In addition to burgers, the eatery offers poutine, chicken fingers, hot dogs, ice cream, and milkshakes.
Gonna be honest I was expecting to be disappointed but I was pleasantly surprised. Burger tasted great, nice and juicy and full of flavour. Fried pickles were perfect. Fries were great too. All round the perfect meal after a hard day on the hill. Well priced for whistler too. Great options for drinks. Would definitely go again.
Mel W — Google review
Extremely Disappointed – Don’t Trust the Reviews! I’ve been to Splitz Grill twice before and had a decent experience, but something has seriously gone downhill. Yesterday, I took my family there expecting Whistler’s “best burger,” and we ended up having one of the worst food experiences we’ve had in Canada. We ordered three sandwiches—we couldn’t even finish half. The bread was stale, the yam and french fries looked and tasted old. I asked them to replace the fries, and the second batch was just as bad. There’s no refund option, and the quality is far below even fast-food franchises. We walked all the way from the village based on the review scores, but I can confidently say: Don’t believe the hype. This was a complete waste of money. My wife felt sick afterward—honestly, I don’t even think the meat was fresh. This place barely deserves 2 stars, and that’s just for the outdoor seating. Save your time, money, and health—skip Splitz Grill.
Jafar K — Google review
We stayed over the weekend in Whistler for a race and our hotel was right beside Splitz! Which is also a few meters from the Olympic rings - awesome location. The food was pretty good, we got burgers for the whole family which were spot on. Service was good enough, or perhaps professional. Price: expensive but I guess this “Whistler price” - 2 adult + 1 kids burger + 2x beer + tips = ~$110
Robson P — Google review
Spritz Burger is often touted as the best burger joint in Whistler, so we decided to give it a try. We ordered the Spritz Royale (topped with bacon and hash brown) along with regular fries and a plate of hot chicken wings. The positives: - Pricing is fair, especially during *happy hour*, when the wings were $7 off. - The burger came as an option on a brioche bun, which initially looked great, and the sauce/flavour setup was definitely tasty and satisfying. - Overall, good value for the money. The drawbacks: - The brioche bun didn’t hold up structurally—it completely disintegrated halfway through eating, which made things messy fast. - The burger patty’s texture was a bit *mushy*, which raised some concerns and took away from the experience. Hoping it’s just a one-off kitchen miss, but it’s worth noting. Final thoughts: Spritz Burger delivers on flavour and value, especially if you catch happy hour, but the execution—particularly the bun integrity and meat texture—left something to be desired. With small improvements, it truly could live up to its reputation as one of Whistler’s best burgers. Ambience was satisfactory offering both indoor and outdoor seating. Service was self-serve type that expects 18% + tips. The cashier was friendly.
SK G — Google review
Splitz Burger in Whistler serves up sumptuous, freshly made burgers loaded with sauce and toppings to your heart’s delight. The fun part? You can build your own burger, but watch out—$2 per topping can add up faster than you think! I went with the Splitz Royale, and wow, talk about luxury—this burger even has a crispy hash brown tucked inside for that extra indulgence. Their happy hour offers “mini Splitz burgers” and wings, perfect for sampling or sharing. The vibe is laid-back, with plenty of generous indoor seating plus a patio to soak up the mountain air. The staff are friendly and welcoming, making the experience feel casual and fun. In terms of taste, Splitz ranks up there with the beloved Burger Crush—though I’ll admit the patty was a bit mushy and the buns struggled a bit holding all that deliciousness together. But hey, no burger is perfect, and I’ll definitely be back for more. If you’re in Whistler and craving a burger that’s a little different and packed with flavor, Splitz is worth the visit—and maybe an extra napkin or two.
Amus S — Google review
One of our favourite places in Whistler to grab lunch. We always order their Bison Burger and it’s always so delicious. If you are lucky, make sure to grab a table on their patio - it’s a very nice sitting area. It is pricey though, we paid $30 for one burger with fries and coke but it’s standard for Whistler. Customer service was excellent and we are looking forward to coming back! 🍔

The best burger I’ve had! A must visit after a long hike or a beach day. The staff are all very friendly and the interior is clean. There is plenty of seating inside and out. There are many options even if you’re vegetarian! We got the cheese burger with cheddar cheese. The ingredients taste fresh and I would definitely go back.

I had such a great experience at Splitz Grill! The burgers were incredibly juicy and flavorful, you can really taste the quality of the ingredients.

Garibaldi Lift Co. Bar & Grill, also known as GLC, is a popular après-ski destination in Whistler. It offers a lively atmosphere with scenic views of skiers on the slopes during winter and downhill mountain bikers in the summer. The venue features an airy interior with floor-to-ceiling windows, outdoor patios, and an interior fireplace.
This place is such a great spot for drinks, apps, and meals during or after skiing! The patio is super nice, and they even have blankets to keep you warm while you chill. If you’re looking for a fun place to relax after a day on the slopes, you definitely need to check it out!

Didn't ask about nut allergies for the mini donuts, and I had no issues. We arrived essentially at kitchen closing (around 6:05PM) and the staff at first did not let us in, but then said we could try ordering at the bar and they were fine letting us do a to-go order. I only came here because I was leaving the next morning and I had a lift voucher to redeem, as I spent over 15+ minutes on a gondola. The resort gives you a $10 voucher that can be spent at certain restaurants, and this is one of them. I ordered 12 mini donuts to go and they were baked in about 10 minutes. The donuts were crispy and dusted with sugar and cinnamon (?). Overall, a nice sweet way to end a ski day.
David P — Google review
Love the patio and getting to see the riding. We went here multiple times during our stay and every time the servers were fantastic. The drinks are fantastic and they use real lime which is hard to find. Our meals were very flavourful and good as well.
Ashley B — Google review
Tasty burgers, taco plates (make your own - nice!) and bowls. They make a killer spicy margarita and have a decent beer selection. Staff is very friendly especially Meg who was delightful. Can't beat the location for people watching and activity on the hill. Sit outside if available.

Had a wonderful experience here! The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared – every dish we tried was delicious. The place has a warm and welcoming vibe that makes you feel comfortable right away. Special thanks to Emily for her amazing service – she was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything went smoothly. Really appreciate the effort and hospitality. Definitely coming back!
Varun C — Google review
Enjoyed our prime rib cheeseburgers, Crispy Crudité appetizer, chamomile tea, kids pizza, hot chocolate, and warm flourless brownie, and received very kind service—but we reserved a fire pit table (for an extra fee) hoping to watch the Fire and Ice show from this location over dinner. Let’s be clear, there is no view of the show from these tables—only a view of the wild dance rave happening at the bar across the way. As long as it is made clear that someone will have to remain at the table (lest they seat another party there thinking you have left), while everyone is standing to watch the show from the opposite deck…and if you don’t mind the competition for which establishment can play the loudest music, then the fire pit tables are a comfy and happening place to ‘see and be seen’ while reflecting on the day’s skiing adventures.
Nicole H — Google review
With friends and family it is the best place to have a meal. It’s a spacious restaurant with lots of seating options - either at the tables or bars, at the bar itself or in the middle of the cafe watching the skiers outside or the winter sports videos on the wall TVs. The restaurant has a split level and it is fun to watch a colorful array of sport attire on people and a large variety of food served next to your sitting place. We ordered a wild mushrooms and truffle soup, an ahi crunch roll, and ahi poke bowl. Wow! What a wonderful presentation and fresh taste! Mushroom soup was very savory and was accompanied by 2 crispy bread slices. The restaurant was very busy, it took about 25 minutes before our food arrived. Meanwhile, we were served with water and my tea pot arrived within 5 minutes. It is actually very good to have time and a hot tea before the food - making the meal more anticipated and joyful. The music played was very active, making you want to get up and dance. Awesome food and overall experience! If we would have more days at Whistler, we would definitely come here again! Hope you will too!

Nestled at the base of Whistler Mountain in the charming Creekside neighborhood, Dusty's Bar & BBQ is a beloved establishment that has been serving up delicious BBQ fare since 1965. This rustic restaurant and bar not only offers a cozy atmosphere with a fireplace but also features live entertainment and one of the sunniest patios in town. Known for its mouthwatering menu, Dusty’s takes pride in its BBQ recipes, which were inspired by an extensive culinary tour through the Southern United States.
A favourite spot when I lived here and now when I come to visit. The wedges and butt rub are the very best. Amazing views of the bike park and Whistler mountain. Huge patio, great service. Anything on the menu is a great choice. They throw a great Canada day party, and my employment had our Christmas dinner here once. Great times!

Legendary spot in creekside. Had the famous Caesars and the BBQ platter for 4. Other than the dry brisket, the meats was good. Luckily we weren't that hungry so the portions were just right. Probably not enough food for 4 hungry guys! The Caesars were spicy enough and the pickled beans within were great! Pricey spot, but not out of place for Whistler and certainly not the most expensive spot on the hill.. you are paying for the convenience of hillside eating.
OY C — Google review
A BBQ place and bar. We only came here for a single lunch visit. There was a constant flow of mountain bikers and hiking enthusiasts. Even so, it was crowded at all. That might not be the case on the weekends but we don't know for sure. There's a stage that we presume is for entertainment at night. The staff was friendly and efficient. They were very helpful accommodating us and made lunch suggestions. The restaurant is inviting and has a donate Western vibe. It's large and comfortable. The BBQ really wasn't that great. It might have been the day we visited but it's a BBQ place. That should be a consistent priority.
Roy A — Google review
The platter was really delicious and definitely enough for two people. The brisket and ribs were full of flavor, and the sides balanced everything nicely. A bit on the pricey side, but overall a great experience!
Sonia A — Google review
A really great local spot! The food was good, but to me what really shined was the service and the ambiance. I don't often care at all about music in restaurants, but I was really into the music here! Very fun selection without being too loud. The server was an absolute gem and we had a great time. The food itself was good (especially the chili), and the drinks were great - didn't get a picture of the drinks because they were gone so quick!

Excellent food and service! You just got down from the trails, don't go anywhere further for food. Highly recommended!

Fun place. There’s a lot more seating in the back. The staff were nice and helpful. Always nice to end the day at Dusty’s.

I get we all have bad days... We were staying at the hotel connected to dusty's and we've heard some decent things about this place. I'll start with the bad: - Place was pretty busy on a saturday night. we had called to ask what time last call was as we wanted to get in for food. first call, they hung up on us. second call, they were pretty rude. - Why is a place like this (that's so bumping) closed at 8pm?! come on - at leasssst 9 or 10. You'd continue to get lots of business. We got there around 6:45/7 and noticed people roll in at 7:45 and get fully ignored by staff. the staff was bringing pillows inside but completely ignoring?! that's pretty bad. - prices are brutal, i know it's whistler and things are expensive, but still. the first day i went i got the coast mountain rotating tap for $8.75 and the next day they charged me $10.75... so i paid over $13 for ONE beer. i had just come from the brewery itself where it was $6. - main issue: our server was incredibly rude. she dropped off the menu and essentially threw it on the table. She was definitely having a ROUGH day, she honeslty looked like she was going to break out in tears. She was extremely short with us and not friendly at all. We finally asked her how her day was and she said "it's been reallly busy and a rough day."Now i get it, serving is hard work. the owners and managers should not be letting their staff get this burnt out that they're on the verge of tears. Unfortunately she was not personable at all. Now with the good. Nachos were good but quite pricy. However one of my friends got an extra side of salsa and sour cream and they charged her SEVEN dollars. that's wild. The vibe was good! You're right at the mountain and have this beautiful view. nice outdoor picnic area to chill on a sunny day. Server on the second day i visited was great. Adam - nice work and great attitude. super friendly. Would i come back? maybe but my advice to management. get more staff on so your servers aren't over worked and burnt out.

The lounge features large windows that provide stunning views of gently falling snow. Guests can indulge in a delectable vegetarian menu featuring dishes like vegetarian pates with crispy lentils and taro root chips or fried artichoke sandwiches with eggplant bacon.
Loved the atmosphere here—super cozy and stylish, perfect spot to unwind. The live performer was amazing and really made the night special. Grab a drink, sit back, and enjoy the music—you won’t be disappointed!

Food is ok. I would say lower value than Cactus Club, but similar quality. Definitely not worth the spend. The setting is beautiful though and the staff is lovely. They sometimes have live music which is a nice bonus. I only recommend coming here if you’re staying at the hotel and you’re too lazy to go into the city.

What a fantastic restaurant. The staff is as amazing as the warmth of the setting. The food options are plentiful and each one is delicious. The nachos are in a league of their own!!! If any of the following servers are available, be sure to ask for one to take care of your table. You won’t be disappointed - Isami, Rachel, Leann, Addy, or Fredrique. They are so personable and efficient. They are led by a delightful manager named Brandi, who not only observes the operations but will roll up her sleeves and pitch in when needed. Kudos to the entire team for such a well-run establishment.

My husband and I did the Cocktail Masterclass at the Mallard Lounge and had a great experience with Taylor. She was very knowledgeable and engaging and made great cocktails! The class felt like a great value for the money..we enjoyed several delicious cocktails as well as multiple snacks - our favorite was the salt and pepper wings. Would highly recommend! Thanks for a great evening, Taylor!

We absolutely loved our time at The Mallard Lounge at Fairmont Chateau Whistler—it quickly became our go-to spot during our stay. The setting is beautiful, the service is warm and attentive, and the live music every night adds the perfect touch of atmosphere. The food was consistently outstanding. We especially loved the burger, truffle fries, oysters, charcuterie, and the wood-fired pizzas. Everything was so good, we ended up dining there four times during our week-long stay! A special shoutout to Freddie, one of the wonderful servers who made our visits even more enjoyable. She’s incredibly sweet, provided excellent service, and gave us some great local recommendations and insider tips. And the cocktails? Absolutely top-notch. The Signature Gin & Tonic wasn’t just the best G&T I’ve ever had—it might be one of the best cocktails I’ve had, period. Thank you to the entire Mallard Lounge team for making our time in Whistler so memorable. We can’t wait to return!

We love coming to the Fairmont Lounge for drinks – it’s always such a special experience. My husband always orders the Castaway Old Fashioned, and part of the fun is the incredible presentation with fire and smoke. It’s such a signature moment that we look forward to every time. This visit, however, was a little different. Our server did the presentation on the tray instead of at our table, and she seemed to be rushing through it. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to capture it on video like we usually do, which was disappointing. That being said, the drink itself was excellent as always, and we still really enjoy the atmosphere and overall experience. We just hope that next time, the presentation can be done tableside again, as it really adds to the magic.

Our server was absolutely amazing! She was welcoming and made us feel completely at home from the moment we sat down. She really knew the menu inside and out and gave great recommendations. Everything she did seemed effortless, and you could tell she's a total pro. Blair turned a nice dinner into a really special experience. We had the grilled cheese and the burger, perfect for a rainy night. The live music was also top notch! I think his name was Steve.Thank you for the fantastic service and evening.

We are visiting Whistler and found Earls Kitchen and Bar. We had a very good experience here, to start, our waitress TILDA, was amazing, very knowledgeable of the menu and drinks, very fast even the restaurant was busy she was on it. We will keep coming back again while we are in town and every time we come here because we loved their food, tha bar menu and the really good service we had by TILDA.

Ladies night out for a lovely dinner and drinks. Reservation is highly recommended! Clam chowder was delish and the Cobb salad was yummy. It was just a little noisy because of a full restaurant. Service could be better but it was a busy evening. One of our friends waited for her salad while all of us already got our dishes. Other than that, it was a wonderful evening.

Glad they are open till 11:00 pm (happy hour after 10) as we were back from our excursion late. Small but great happy hour deals! All the foods were very good as usual. Only issue was our steak being well done despite of asking for rare.

Overall, it was a good experience. We visited for lunch and found the location convenient, with parking lots nearby. The wait time was only about 10 minutes. Our server was warm, welcoming, and very helpful. While there wasn’t a physical kids’ menu, they offered several child-friendly options such as chicken tenders, pasta, or a kids’ burger.

A 10/10 experience. We were seated almost instantly, since it wasn’t busy. Our server was extremely nice, and willing to answer all kinds of questions on the food. First came the clam chowder, and it was very delicious. Nice and thick. My dish, the kung pao chicken was extremely good. You get to choose an amount of peppers to put in as a spice level, and the noodles and chicken paired nicely with the assortment of veggies. The fettuccine alfredo with grilled chicken—and they offer a version with Cajun chicken—and it was heavy, and the cheese was nice and thick. The crab cake was small and light, I enjoyed it. And the Santa Fe salad was an enjoyable blend of beans, veggies, chicken, and some sauce. Maybe ranch or Cesar? Anyways very tasty, especially when eating all the elements together. Overall a very good experience and I would definitely recommend.

Had such an amazing time at Earls thanks to Will! He was super friendly, hilarious, and on top of everything. His energy made the whole night better. He gave great recs, kept our drinks full, and made sure we were totally taken care of. Seriously, every restaurant needs a Will!

Went to 3 places looking for a late night weekday dinner, only to get turned down from every place due to kitchens being closed. Luckily, we stumbled upon Earls and our amazing server Katie! Had the best dinner of our vacation for a very good price. The prices were nice but being on vacation we didn’t care too much about that. What made the experience 10/10 was our amazing server Katie. She accommodated to all our needs and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time. Earls would probably be great without our amazing server Katie, but I don’t know if we’ll get service like that ever again. Cheers! Thank you Katie!

The Longhorn Saloon is a lively après-ski spot located at the base of the Whistler gondola. It features a festive setup with DJ nights, TVs, and a patio that comes alive in the afternoon as skiers and snowboarders unwind with drinks. Known for its rowdy atmosphere, it's a popular choice for those seeking an energetic apres scene.
Longhorn Saloon is the place to be in Whistler! Awesome energy, great music, and a fun atmosphere right at the base of the mountain. The drinks are strong, the food hits the spot, and the patio views are unbeatable. Perfect for après-ski or just hanging out with friends. Always a good time!

Sitting outside with great afternoon weather in may. We had burger 25$ with fries. Wings 20$ . Drinks 10$ Charged us 4$ extra for a sauce for wings And 5$ extra for changing chips to salad for one burger… not sure why didn’t we get the extra chip when With drinks overall bill was 125$ Expensive for the items ordered. Try some other place..

The drinks are the star of the show at longhorn. They have plenty of options and are great after biking/skiing. The food is pretty standard pub fare with a few healthier options available as well. The main issue we had is that some of the tables were still notably dirty even after being wiped down. The fire tables are great when you can get one and the patio space is very nice to sit and enjoy the last of the sunshine. Overall it was a pretty standard experience for pub fare and the location is great for those coming off the mountain or just wanting a good view.

I've got good things to say about the Longhorn Saloon in Whistler British Columbia. You don't go to the Longhorn to save money, in fact x2 expresso martini's and a club sandwich cost 80 dollars Canadian. you don't go to the Longhorn for exceptional service, although the service was adequate. You honestly go to the Longhorn for the AMAZING atmosphere. Large outdoor seating area, table top fire pits to sit around for everyone, sets the mood for Whistler rain or shine or snow ❄️, exciting, romantic in a sense, fun, depending on the season it can be a giant packed outdoor party, sometimes with a DJ or other form of entertainment. Inside the restaurant, spacious, and has that country party house saloon feel. If you visit Whistler BC, especially if it's snowing and your looking for a drink, cold beer, burger after the slopes or before, you definitely want to be able to say you've been to the Longhorn, check it out!!

Poutine was delicious and hamburger pretty good. The music too loud for me and tables too close to each other. There is a view of ski slope and biking route which I am assuming is interesting in the winter, but not much the rest of the time.

If you’re going to Longhorn Saloon and you get lucky enough to have Siobhan as your waitress, you're in for a great night. She’s stunning and just really good at what she does. She’s super friendly, always on top of things, and manages to stay cool even when the place is slammed - she made the whole experience feel easy and fun. You can tell she actually cares about giving good service, not just going through the motions. Her attitude and professionalism really stand out. Total package. Already looking forward to my next visit and hope she’ll be working.

Bearfoot Bistro is an upscale restaurant located in a hotel, known for its bubbly bar and impressive wine selection. It has been consistently recognized as one of Canada's top 100 restaurants. The restaurant offers a spring special with a four-course menu and the choice of one of their four 'signature experiences.' These experiences include sabering a bottle of sparkling wine, vodka tasting in the Ketel One Ice Room, Nitro ice cream dessert, or wine pairings with the meal.
We came here to celebrate my partner’s 31 birthday and the experience was phenomenal from the beginning to the end. From the moment we sat down, we were offered sparkling or still water while having access to see the ins and outs of the kitchen as part of the experience (you have to specially request it). Our server and sommelier took care of us and gave us such great recommendations, everything tied together in a way that the flavors all complimented each other so well, not too much or too little. Special shoutout to: The Lobster roll and the Oysters. We got the prix set menu but I believe that the lobster roll is on the a la carte as well. Please, please, please get it. I would have 10 more of it if I could 🫣 They gave us two complimentary glasses of bubbly and a plate of chocolates to close out the night, and we are so grateful to have been treated like royalties for this special occasion. My partner wouldn’t stop raving about how this is his favorite dining experience ever and we cannot wait to come back 💛🤗

It was our last evening in Canada. We were looking for a special meal. The food overall was good but was let down with hard, overcooked mussels and virtually tasteless ravioli and peas. The service was appalling. We ordered wine but we had eaten the starter before it arrived. We were told that they couldn't find the wine. The evening was saved by Michael. He was very understanding and good to chat to. 5 stars to Michael..The nitro ice was super creamy

Honestly, not happy with Barefoot Bistro. Food was very expensive and mostly underwhelming. Lobster Bisque ($24) was good but served lukewarm. Miso Cod ($125) was tasty but didn’t like the smoky flavor (prefer Nobu style prep). Seafood platter ($134) was not worth the price at all for the quantity and quality. Martinis were $30!? And this place is in desperate need of a renovation. Looks straight out of the 80s. Service was good, however. But even with that we would not return.

We went for the fall deal menu was $88 for 3 courses with a 4th mid course for an extra. The food was overall really good but if you do go for fall deal I don’t recommend the carpaccio.. it was an extra $10 and you get one small piece, no bread or anything with it. The meringue dessert was quite incredible though. The server was lovely though and the vibe was nice.

A true gem in Whistler. Upon entering in, staff greeted us with warm smile and took our coats. Our server, Jeremy, gave us a brief history of Bearfoot Bistro and mentioned that their wine cellar is the largest in BC. Pretty rad! We aren’t big drinkers so we decided to skip on the wines. We chose the course menu and we agreed this was the best meal of the trip! *Lobster Bisque Creamy and packed with flavor. The lobster meat and corn added sweetness and the crouton complemented the dish. *Foie Gras My dining companion got the foie gras and I must say it’s the best foie gras I’ve had! It was well prepared so it was not bitter and overpowering. It paired well with the red wine jus. *Wagyu Beef Cheek Very tender and soft. Cut like butter. From the sauce, salad, and the beef cheek itself, everything was so flavorful! *Pistachio Financier Quite frankly one of the best desserts I’ve had! The saltiness of olive oil gelato and the tartness of blueberry sauce balanced the sweetness of the brown butter cake. Layering it with the pistachio added that extra crunchy texture. When eaten altogether, it feels like heaven touches your taste bud. Very good! My dining companion also loved their wagyu burger and citrus meringue. Service was attentive from start to finish. It’s my first time here but won’t be the last!

Charming spot. We had the Prix Frixe menu option, so we got a nice cross-section of dishes. The gem salad was nice, and the tuna tataki was fresh. The pea tortellini was bright and had an excellent chew. I had the pork belly and scallops, which were delicious. The pork belly had a lovely smoke to it, with a sticky/sweet layer which was amazing. There was an issue with the Wagyu Steak dish, but I will say that their handling of it was absolutely impeccable. They were professional, honest, accountable, and really handled it in an exemplary manner. Mistakes happen, and issues will arise; what matters is how you handle them—this is clearly a serious restaurant that cares about its product and its customers. It was really well handled there. The desserts were yummy, and not too heavy, and the drinks were light and refreshing. Would definitely recommend giving the Barefoot Bistro a try, we'll definitely be back.

This could have been a 5-star experience—the atmosphere was great and the presentation was well done—but I left feeling underwhelmed. I was expecting 4 full ounces of vodka in our tasting, but what we actually got was closer to four 1/3-ounce pours. At $70 per person, that felt disappointing and overpriced. If the pours were more generous, it might justify the cost, but as it stands it leans more toward a tourist trap than a true tasting experience.

All the other restaurants in the area were booked and we were having trouble giving l finding a place we liked, until we find this hidden gem. They had pre fixe menu that was absolutely delicious-- every part of it, which is unusual-- and not very expensive, unless you get tempted by the add-ons. Excellent service and great atmosphere. Only the chairs were a little uncomfortable. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Alta Bistro is a popular dining spot in Whistler, known for its seasonal French cuisine and extensive selection of wines by the glass. The bistro, owned and managed by local Eric Griffith, offers a modern take on French-style alpine dishes. Chef Nicholas Cassatari brings his expertise and global influences to create a menu filled with rich flavors, such as Rangeland bison tartare and Brant Lake Wagyu bavette steak.
Initially passed by this bistro searching for the restaurant I was supposed to have dinner. Yet, Alta stole the show as I couldn’t resist the great smell from the kitchen as I walked past there. If you want to please your palate for something worth the 💵, come here! The chef’s creativity is so visible on the plate. All the colours and flavour that explodes in your mouth. Locally sourced produce if you want to support Canadian businesses. You have to try it for yourself and be surprised in every bite. Apart from the chef and the kitchen folks, service was amazeballs here!!!!

I'd love to see how this restaurant scores with the Michelin reviewers, at the same time, I really appreciate how it's quiet and not too busy, as I like how it doesn't feel too cramped. The food is farm to table inspired west coast flair with a touch of molecular gastronomy, and a unique dining experience that I enjoyed. Pacing is relaxed, so expect to take your time. Personally, I'd recommend this restaurant a visit.

We tried the Summer 3-Course Special for $49, and everything we ordered was excellent. I think this may be one of the best restaurants in Whistler! Each dish was flavorful, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. There are a few items with an upcharge, but they were worth the extra cost. Service was a bit on the slow side, but the staff were friendly and welcoming, which made up for the wait. Overall, a great dining experience with high-quality food at a good value. Would definitely return!

We went to this restaurant on September 24th of this year with the whole family, a total of 10 adults and 2 kids. We had loads of shared plates as a starter, including the sourdough ciabatta, olives, charred shishito peppers, oysters, the Alta deli-board, and the venison tartare. For main course we had a various dishes, but all dishes were amazing. The risotto with peas was great, the pork belly was perfectly glazed, and also the Bavette and cheeseburger were cooked perfectly. Also the kids options were nice, varying from fish with chips to a cheese panini with fries, and of course ice cream as dessert! The service was also amazing, and we had two lovely servers continuously being attentive with our water and wine glasses. In total we spent a little over 100 CAD per person, but we had 3 bottles of wine totaling 375 CAD, so we went a little overboard on the wine, but it tasted great!

We ordered a dozen oysters, a charcuterie board, and three summer courses ($49 each, but with add ons for specific dishes). The total was around $270 for four people. Our waitress was charming and attentive, but unfortunately the timing of the food was extremely slow. We ordered at 8:30 and it took until 10:30 for all the plates to come out. The Kale Salad and Venison Tartare were a bit bland, the cheeseburger was soggy, and the halibut was dry- I could’ve pan fried a frozen fillet from Costco and gotten the same result. In addition, the glaze on the pork belly did not resemble the taste of gochujang at all, and the chocolate financier was so sweet it hurt my throat. The spicy yuzu gelato didn’t have any citrus flavored and did not pair well with the financier. The only highlight was the scallop crudo- the seafood was meaty and fresh, the texture of the cracker was delightful, and the sauce was on point. I would say in terms of fine dining, this restaurant js definitely on the lower end of the scale.

If you love great food, very good and attentive service and a nice atmosphere, go to the best bistro in town. Probably the best dinner of our West Canada trip. On a Wednesday evening our family group of 12 including 2 small kids went here based on the recommendation of a few locals. The service was fantastically attentive. The waitress heared me dropping a spoon from the other side of the restaurant, right there with a new one. Because we were with such a large group, we practically ate the whole menu, and all the food was amazing! Duck breast: fantastic! Pork belly: spot on! Clam and cantharelle risotto: amazing! The wine, non-alcoholic beverages and cocktails: super! So, also in summer season, a great place to spend a few hours and enjoy a great meal.

Wow! I eat beef only 3-4x per year for environmental reasons. SO glad I tried the Sumac Crusted Beef Bavette here. Fabulous! Nathan enjoyed the Gochujang Glazed Pork Belly so much he says "I could eat that every day and never get sick of it. I really could." Both desserts were amazing. And who knew the Panacotta dessert would be vegan? Delish! Wonderful summer special - appie, main and dessert for $49.

SIDECUT Steakhouse, located at the Four Seasons Resort, offers a stylish dining experience with an upscale surf 'n' turf menu and vegetarian options. The restaurant hosts special events featuring renowned chefs and sommeliers who curate unforgettable menus paired with BC VQA wines. Executive Chef Sajish Kumar Das presents an expertly crafted menu that includes exclusive Japanese-imported Wagyu beef and other hand-cut steak and seafood dishes sourced from the sea-to-sky region.
Expensive, but my goodness absolutely delicious and well worth it for a special evening dinner! Of course the service is top notch. We ordered their beef wellington and it was picture perfect. We enjoyed both cocktails and wine. I’d recommend their Golden Bridge Sour. The Vulcan De Fuego was a fun drink with dramatic presentation, presented in a box filled with rosemary smoke. Overall I’d say worth a visit on a special occasion, even if you’re not staying at the Four Seasons. Note: The restaurant is tucked away behind another restaurant in the hotel, so it may be confusing. That said, you can just ask the folks at the front and they can guide you to Sidecut.

The food here was amazing and ambiance is very nice to celebrate any occasion! The only reason it is not a 5 star review is that we were offered more bread from our server and we said yes that we would love some more. It never came and we had to ask 3 times and to a few different staff members.

Quite great restaurant. April is very slow season so easy to get seat now. Prix Fixe Course meal was just okay option- 2nd course, Octopus was the best ! Tenderloin steak was little dried, lost most juice and Foie gras was not melting in mouth any more. Service is real high-end ! Moody and luxurious reataurant in Four Season Whistler Hotel.

Delicious food, amazing service. Service is very warm and friendly 😁 Our order was New York Striploin: I got it with the blueberry(?) dry rub and it was excellent. But I wish I ordered the ribeye instead, as the striploin was a little too tough Ribeye: 10/10. My partner ordered this without any dry rub. I would love to know this tastes with their dry rub. We ordered both steaks medium rare. For sides Broccolini: Looks plain, but has excellent flavor Mushrooms: A little too much vinegar used, but pairs nicely with the steak. Also delicious. Generous portions for the sides. I ordered their Cold as Rice cocktail and loved it so much. I couldn't really taste the alcohol, but I suppose that's understandable with sake. Very smooth and slightly sweet. I enjoyed the lychee flavor. Oh almost forgot, the bread and maple butter was good. But the steak was so good that I forgot about the bread. Overall super happy with Sidecut.

Absolutely in love with Sidecut - from the incredible staff to the warm, inviting ambiance. After some underwhelming experiences at other highly rated spots, we ended up dining here two nights in a row. The first night, we tried the tasting menu, and it was hands down the best I've ever had (and I’ve experienced over 20+). We loved it so much, we returned the next evening for the normal dinner menu, again with our amazing server, Oscar. He was attentive, thoughtful, and made both nights feel extra special, along with the rest of the team. I’d return in a heartbeat - if only they had a location closer to home in the U.S.! Thank you for making my birthday dinner unforgettable!

Bar Oso is a contemporary Spanish restaurant located in Whistler, known for its tapas and charcuterie. After undergoing renovations that expanded its capacity, the bar continues to attract a skiing crowd. The horseshoe-shaped bar offers a prime seating experience where guests can enjoy signature cocktails like Smoke and Mirrors, along with classic pinxtos and bocadillos.
Beautiful bar, it’s upscale, modern and the atmosphere is adult and high energy. Really nice cocktails and service at the bar. The food is tapas style so smaller bites but I found it a little overpriced for the amount and quality of the food. Would definitely go back for cocktails alone and the great atmosphere.

Great space / great restaurant. I love this style of food, where you can experience many small dishes to get a great cross-section of different textures and styles and just great nibbles all around. I definitely recommend the charcuterie board—get the half meat/half cheese so you can enjoy it all. We just had mocktails, but they were interesting and refreshing. The spreadable salami is definitely a star. Looking forward to our next visit!
Carson W — Google review
We were so surprised and delighted to stumble upon this hidden gem in Whistler Village! The vibe is absolutely immaculate — it really reminded me of the bustling nightlife back in Toronto, which is exactly what I was looking for. I personally work in the hospitality industry and have been to countless bars, so I did my research beforehand by checking out their website, reading about the chef, and scrolling through their Instagram. It all looked promising, but the real experience exceeded my expectations. We were seated right at the bar, which was perfect since we got to watch the kitchen prepare dishes and the bartenders craft drinks — such a fun and lively atmosphere. The energy was busy and buzzing, making it ideal for a night out. That said, if you’re looking for something quiet, intimate, or family-friendly, this may not be the right spot. For tapas, I found the portions and quality really fair for the price. The flavors honestly shocked me in the best way, and I’ll definitely be coming back to try more dishes. We also tried a couple of cocktails — although our server seemed a bit unsure when recommending one (I asked for something fruity and light but got the opposite), everything else about the service and night was wonderful. The highlight for me was seeing how well the whole team worked together — you could feel the camaraderie and passion behind the bar and kitchen. That, combined with the food and vibe, made for such a memorable night. Highly recommend if you’re after a vibrant, city-style experience in Whistler!

This place is one of the newer spots in Whistler that features tapa style food. They’re really busy so a reservation is recommended or putting your name down early to make sure you get a seat. The food is very good and the drinks are well crafted. They have some fun creative cocktails and twists on some classics. The shrimp and meatballs were one of our favourites. Definitely recommend checking this spot out when you’re in Whistler.

We had such a wonderful experience at Bar Oso! Chef Andrés prepared an amazing paella full of authentic Spanish flavors — absolutely delicious. The cocktails by bartender Juan were fantastic, and the appetizers from José Luis were also outstanding. Everyone was so warm and friendly, which made the whole evening even better. A true taste of Spain in Whistler!

We stopped for dinner on our first night in Whistler. We had the pinchos & garlic prawns starters and they were delicious. For the main course we opted for the full charcuterie board, which was equally as tasty. Service was great too. Would recommend.
Stephen H — Google review
My partner and I were really looking forward to trying Bar Osu, but unfortunately, the experience was terribly disappointing. While tapas are meant to be small plates, the portions here are absolutely tiny—barely enough for one person, let alone sharing. Each dish averages $20-25, which feels very overpriced for the size and quality. We were recommended the octopus dish, which is usually a highlight at any Spanish tapas restaurant. Sadly, it was a letdown: the octopus was rubbery on the outside and soggy and slimy on the inside. The potatoes served with it tasted like something microwaved—very strange and unappetizing. The beef tartare was also bland and lacked any real flavor. On top of that, the atmosphere was not what you would expect from an upmarket bar. There were children being entertained, which really took away from the experience. Overall, we left feeling very disappointed and confused about the hype. I wouldn’t recommend Bar Osu if you’re looking for authentic, well-executed tapas or a refined dining experience.

One of my favorite after ski spots. I love a burger after skiing and had tried several before Merlin’s and it’s one of the best. I tried the other top rated burgers on google and yelp but this and Provisions were my favorite. Friendly staff, fun atmosphere, overall great spot!

I ordered the “Big Canadian “. It’s lives up to its name. It was huge. Chef Spencer made the combination just right for the palate. The order consisted of bacons, hash brown, baby potatoes, omelet and waffle complete with syrup. I highly recommend it before hitting the slopes. Also Connie and Ire made us feel comfortable which added to the Cosiness of the cafe’s ambience.

It was just as great the second time as the first! It was a lot busier so it took longer to get drinks but the food comes out in a timely manner. So happy to have gone here again!

One of or favourite bars to go to in Whistler before or after skiing. Great atmosphere , loud music playing great tunes, friendly service from the staff and great lager. Close to the gondola and our accommodation too. Food was excellent and comfortable seating. Good menu with plenty of choice.

Hunter Gather is a laid-back and casual eatery located in Whistler, BC. It's a popular spot among locals for its pub grub, including slow-cooked ribs, brisket, and poutine with pulled pork. The restaurant offers an ample selection of rotating craft beers on tap to complement the flavorful dishes. Situated near Olympic Plaza on Main Street, Hunter Gather provides a relaxed atmosphere with patio seating featuring picnic tables.
This restaurant was an outstanding experience. I wholeheartedly recommend it. When you arrive, you choose a seat and take a menu. When you are ready to order, you go to the counter and order. They bring your food to the table and check on you. The staff was friendly and the food came quickly. The atmosphere was trendy and comfortable with plenty of seating indoors and out. The food was delicious. We got a chicken burger and a beef burger. We liked both but preferred the beef. The potato salad is scratch made and the fried potatoes were different than I have had before. The best way I could describe them is potato pillows. The beer selection was good and they offered flights. I am so glad we chose this restaurant!

Everything is GOOD! I got their Bacon benny and it was o-kay. Their hollandaise tasted more of melted cheese and their pickled onion didn’t really taste pickled. I do love how you can order to the front so you can take as much time as you would like. It was our first visit and I would come back to try their waffles. Service is great, they were very nice. As well as the atmosphere. I loved their layout.

This review is based on their happy hour and only the drinks. They offer 20% off drinks, which is great for an afternoon relaxation session or late lunch. The place is pretty open so there’s lots of seating. You order at the counter and they bring your food or drink to wherever you’re seated.

I'm a fairly simple eater and love Hunter Gather. The classic breakfast was fantastic! Lots of delicious food for a surprisingly reasonable price, considering most food in Whistler is marked up quite a bit. I've gone back multiple times to have the brisket sandwich with pemberton potatoes for dinner. The brisket is very soft, moist, and tasty! The horseradish on it is very mild, so don't let that scare you away from it. My mother and I were both ranting and raving about the brisket for days. I'm generally a French fries kinda guy, but the pemberton potatoes were a nice surprise. They are basically fried potato chunks that are nice and crispy on the outside and decently soft on the inside. On one visit, my girlfriend ordered the Cured Salmon & Pesto Salad and thought it was too salty. The staff was very kind and exchanged it for a brisket sandwich, which she was very happy with. On another visit, my girlfriend ordered the Hunter Shawarma and did not like it. She claimed the beef was overcooked and she didn't like the chicken marinade. The staff was more than accommodating and swapped it free of charge for a Chicken Shawarma, which she was very happy with. All in all, the food selection is great, for a reasonable price. The staff is more than gracious and accommodating. The environment is comfortable, with plenty of seating, natural lighting, and comfortable music volume levels. So even though it might not be a quiet dining experience, based on how busy it is, you also don't need to worry about being able to hear the people at your table.

EDIT: Hunter Gather did make good on their promise for a refund, and I do appreciate their quick response and attempt to make things right. Thank you! What happened to this place!?! Hunter Gather used to be one of our favorites. But the overcooked dry brisket was among the worst I have had. Pork Ribs were comparatively better but very small and little meat, I probably would not order them again (if we ever go back). Poutine was kinda weird with the pickles. On the positive, staff was very friendly and food served quickly. But overall the food was a complete disappointment. Sad to see the decline.

Where Brisket Melts in Your Mouth It’s been a while since I’ve had brisket this good—tender enough to melt in your mouth, with just the right amount of smoke and a perfectly charred crust. The side of crispy potatoes was outstanding. The place is delightfully unpretentious, with excellent beers and ciders, and a more-than-fair check.
Raffaele Z — Google review
Good casual place for burgers, wraps and BBQ! Very reasonable prices. They also have a large selection (about a dozen) of local beers on tap and are very happy to tell you about the beer and brewery. Try out a beer flight if you can’t decide. It’s self serve in the sense that you are shown to a table, then you go up to the counter to order food and drinks, and your order is brought to your table. Very efficient and is pretty quick, even when it’s super busy. Pretty large dining area so tables move fairly quick. When the weather is good they have lots of tables in an outdoor area, where you can also bring your dogs. Super friendly staff, especially Brodie the beer meister! We’ve gone a few times and everything on menu is good. They have a few vegan and veggie options. Got beef burger and chicken schwarma this time. I like the crispy potatoes or wilted kale as a side. They have a soup of day which is also nice on a cold day. They also serve brunch and have great waffles and bennie’s. Came back a few months later. Got to e Grants platter for 4. Huge plate of food!! Tasty pulled pork, brisket, wings, ribs. Loads of sides. Minor nit is too much pulled pork, would have preferred more brisket (not that many slices). Otherwise, good deal and could probably feed 4 or 5.

The platter for two is more than enough for three. It was delicious and the brisket was super tender. The jalapeño cornbread was phenomenal too!

Nestled at the base of Whistler Mountain, Dubh Linn Gate Irish Pub offers an authentic taste of Ireland right in the heart of Whistler. This charming pub is perfectly situated next to the Excalibur Gondola, making it a prime spot for both locals and visitors alike. With a fantastic selection of craft beers that includes local favorites alongside traditional Irish brews like Guinness, there's something for every palate.
We tried the pulled pork sandwich, ribs, steak and Guinness pie as well as the nachos. All the food were delicious. The nachos were huge and had lots of toppings, this is not an appetizer sized portion - it really is its own meal. The ribs were slow cooked and fell apart easily. Pulled pork sandwich was just right. But it was the steak and Guinness pie that really seals the deal. I believe it is their signature dish and worth a try. The thin crust pastry over the skillet just gave it enough of the pie taste but not overpowering the pie itself. You need to try this. Service was very slow, we probably sat around for about 10mins waiting for our server a number of times. They probably need more servers or distribute customers more evenly with their servers.
Sam G — Google review
After an afternoon of ATV riding, we were famished and found ourselves at this fine establishment. The Guinness was cold and the food was proper good. Not much else we could have asked for after a few pints and good grub. Looking forward to coming back here.

Had a late dinner here while staying at Whistler. It is a cool looking Irish pub with traditional pub food. They host live music and it can get loud. I ordered a Beef dip, the aujou was tasty with a nice rosemary flavor however the bun was burnt and there was not very much meat at all. My wife had the fish tacos which looked amazing but the fish was breaded and a little greasy. Out server did not some back to check on us and ask how our food was and it took a long time for a refill on our drinks, like we were forgot about for a while. It is a nice pub however and I'm sure the experience is not always like ours.
Troy M — Google review
We used to visit Dubh Linn Gate regularly years ago, and returning now, it’s evident that things have changed. It no longer feels much like an Irish pub, as the menu focuses heavily on more generic options, such as nachos, wings, banh mi bowls, and flatbreads, with little that reflects its Irish roots. We tried the mushroom pie, which had a flavorful filling, and the pretzel with cheese. The pretzel was served warm, but it had more of a mini baguette texture than the traditional chewy twist we had hoped for. The cheese was acceptable but nothing memorable. On a positive note, the wait staff was absolutely lovely. They were very friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. While we miss the old charm of the place, the team deserves credit for making us feel cared for.

Dinner was great – lots of gluten-free choices and really tasty food that arrived quickly even though it was busy! Breakfast was a different story. Despite being one of the few tables occupied, our food took almost 40 minutes to arrive, leaving us little time to eat before a long drive. We also weren't able to order drinks as our server was MIA after taking our order.
Bronwyn B — Google review
We visited this pub on a stopover in Whistler. We initially were only staying for one drink, however the atmosphere and the live duo were so good, we stopped for the evening. We had already eaten, however the food which we did see looked delicious and well presented, plus large portions. The staff were really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about their beers. The pub itself had plenty of seating both inside and out, plus a fab fire pit for cold nights. The decoration was typical for an Irish pub and quirky, which added to it's appeal. It was popular and really busy. It really made a perfect end to our evening in Whistler. I would definitely recommend this pub.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Whistler Village, The Mexican Corner Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Mexican flavors. This lively eatery boasts a festive atmosphere adorned with colorful decor and traditional ornaments that evoke the spirit of Mexico. Known for its mouthwatering tacos and legendary margaritas, The Mexican Corner takes pride in using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients to craft beloved dishes from the rich tapestry of Mexican cuisine.
They should really rename this place as “The Best Corner Restaurant.” 😆 My experience at this Mexican restaurant was fantastic! The biggest wow factor was the habanero margarita. Tangy, sour, spicy, salty. Just fantastic. The service is good and attentive. In fact it even helped elevate my experience with their food. They really do a few check ups on you. Decor and ambiance is lovely and cozy. As for the food, I would definitely return. The kitchen did a great job and my taste buds were dancing. If you’re passing by this area of Whistler, I would definitely recommend this place!

Amazing food, and amazing service from Andrew. He was super knowledgeable about the menu and helped me to order a celiac safe meal. The passionfruit margarita was one of the best drinks I've ever had, and the vegan ceviche was incredible. 10/10 reccomend

Service and food was top notch on the two separate occasions we dined here. The Dolce Verdi and mango margaritas are the best we have ever had. Our server Lannie made us feel right at home! Will definitely visit again the next time we are in Whistler.

We got the 4 course meal with the 4 cocktails to match. Amazing food and amazing service. So accommodating when I explained I don’t like spicy food. The waiter made changes to the menu for me and helped explain the menu in detail. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend stopping by when you’re in Whistler! The service, food, and drinks were all fantastic. Our server was super attentive and gave great recommendations. We just came in for appies and drinks but wish we’d stayed for dinner. We had the Queso Fundido with chorizo, mango margaritas, 1800 Cadillac and mezcal margarita. Everything was delicious. Prices were very reasonable for Whistler, and they have a daily happy hour too!

We tried their 3 course dinner. Each course was delicious and authentic. We also enjoyed the views from the window as it was sunset time.

Ate here twice: the nopales enchiladas, then the three course menu. Different from the Sonoran and Chihuahuan styles I'm used to. Tasty, not very zippy. Quiet the first night, but music was really loud the second. They turned it down when asked.

AAA - Authenticity, Amazing food and drinks and Absolutely enjoyable experience. As a foodie with a hearty appetite, appreciation for genuine service and comfort from arrival till departure this place checks all the boxes. On the busiest of summer weekends one may expect a reservation but that’s just it, you don’t get one but arrive, secure your spot grab one their exclusive margaritas at the bar or wait nearby and enjoy the atmosphere of the beautiful setting. We had an array of cocktails, ahi tuna tostadas as appetizers, and every type of taco on the menu. It’s a lively atmosphere, tables are near each other but hey, you’re in a Mexican restaurant where spirited folks are welcome. Will definitely return and I recommend as one of THE best Mexican establishments ever!

Elements Urban Tapas Parlour is a trendy and stylish restaurant in Whistler, offering a notable wine list and seasonal fare in modern, casual surroundings. The ambiance features warm golden woods, copper accents, and a cascading water wall.
We went to Elements in Whistler tonight after hearing many recommendations. The food was amazing! Everything was high quality and the dishes were all very tasty with great flavour combinations and textures. Served tapas style, as a group of 6, we each had our own favourites but I think the plump mussels with its sublime broth were to die for ❤️ Honourable mention goes to the tuna tartare with the perfect hint of spice that took this dish to the next level 🚀

Visited for brunch today and enjoyed the experience. The service is friendly and food was pretty good. I had the Benny stack, which was okay, and my partner had the breakfast sandwich, which was better. The potato thing they make is really great! Price point is not bad for Whistler.

Highly recommended. We stopped by for brunch and were surprised by the unique selections in the menu. Everything about the eggs frittata was exceptional - even the sides: the cranberry bread was also nicely buttered and the hash brown was so delicious. The corn fritters bennies are also very delicious. Absolutely love the unique brunch options. They make a great London Fog as well. Nice staff and atmosphere.

Recommend the mussels - best we’ve ever had! we also tried the steak, ribs, gnocchi, cauliflower steak & calamari, all were amazing. also a great wine selection (bc wines) & extensive cocktail list. highly recommend Elements for a night out, it won’t disappoint. shame i didn’t get more pics to share!!

I will be back for another round of breakfast. Our hotel receptionist told us about this place. It is tucked away in the corner so we had to circle the block a few times to find it. It is a very popular place but it is worth the wait. The food here is reasonable price but my oh my does it delicious. This was the best breakfast I have had in a while. We wiped our plates clean. The customer service was amazing from the time we sat down. The juice shot you see in photo is served with every meal.

5 star experience!!! The food was amazing, we ordered the seafood feature, the flatbread feature and the land and sea. Could not pick a favourite between these three items🤤, my husband and I found it to be the best food we have had. The company was by far what made this the best date we have had. Brian is hilarious and made our night, the service overal was world class and something unforgettable. A must try while in town ands down, we will defiantly be back again 💕

I’m not usually a healthy eating person but the healthy hash is oh-so delicious! All the right flavors in a green bowl with 2 runny free range eggs. The duck sausage I added was a bit too salty I’ll probably skip that next time. My friend had eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and she said it was splendid too. Bottomless coffee. I’ll definitely recommend this brunch spot to people visiting whistler!

We ordered 3 dishes for 2 people for our first trip to Whistler. Overall the service and food were amazing. The stars below are our opinions but we really enjoyed all dishes and everyone’s taste may be different so please take it with a grain of salt! 1️⃣ Fresh seafood plate ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lemon rice topped with a Guacamole layer, cold and refreshing, grilled tuna on top with well roasted shrimps. 2️⃣ Chefs choice land & sea ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Flavourful scallops on top of fried potatoes, roasted duck with a sweet and sour paste at the bottom which was our favourite. Highly recommend! 3️⃣ In-house made Gnocchi, wild mushrooms shaved BC aged parm ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Gnocchi was plain but cheesy. This dish makes me interested in trying some recipes with gnocchi!

Very tasty food, although burger is not my favourite dish but burger at this place is really delicious. The amount of food in general is enough and can be full, the staffs were friendly. The thing that I was kinda surprise that the price is pretty reasonable for a restaurant at the centre of Whistler. Highly recommend this place

Food was just okay, BUT it was also cheap. Most entrees on the menu were around $12. Booze was not terribly expensive either. I had a couple 3oz long islands air around $12 each, so not bad. Music was a bit loud for my taste but not horrible. All in all a positive experience.

A really lively and popular place. We did have to queue for a table, but it was extremely busy. We were seated in the outside area, which was lovely and you could see the views around you. The menu was good and had a great selection of food and drinks, plus cocktails. The waiter was very friendly, polite and helpful with suggestions of dishes. I decided to have a Poke Bowl with Tuna, as I had never heard of one before. The drinks were served and eventually the food. There was a wait, but it was very busy and they kept us updated. The food was very well presented and tasted delicious. There was a great atmosphere in the restaurant, with a lot of happy banter between the staff and customers. It was a great choice for somewhere to eat. We really had a lovely meal. I would love to return, maybe if I am lucky enough to return to Canada.

My wife and I were looking for some late-night food, and this was pretty much the only place in Whistler Village open until around 2 a.m. Normally, pubs or bars aren’t our first choice for dining in, and it was a bit loud inside (as expected for a pub). We decided to order some burgers and poutine to go — and wow, we were impressed. Back at the hotel, every bite was excellent. Juicy, flavorful burgers and perfectly done poutine. Didn’t expect much that late at night, but this place really delivered. Highly recommend for solid food after hours!

Healer than anywhere in whistler - even cheaper than MacDonald’s 🤮 I had the Cajun chicken sandwich with mayo and my husband had the poke bowl and we both absolutely loved it, then a Cpl days later had the fried pickles and they were so nice not greasy and so crispy… and not a sodium over dose now lots are… The atmosphere is so kewl, u meet people from around the world including the staff!!! Nestled in Whistler Village, Basalt Wine & Salumeria is a charming restaurant with a delightful patio offering local cuisine paired with British Columbian wines. The menu boasts seasonal and locally-sourced ingredients, ensuring a fresh and ever-changing selection. From classic breakfast items to the Basalt burger and loaded grilled cheese, there's something for every palate.
After a long day of travel, this was a great place to top it off with. The Basalt Charcuterie board was varied, tasty, and seemingly bottomless. The Vegetable Soup was probably the tastiest one I’ve ever had. The double Espresso went remarkably well with the Sticky Toffee Apple Pudding dessert. They didn’t have bottle of Red Wine we had our eyes on, but they gave us a better bottle for the same price!

Excellent food. Beautiful presentation. Wonderful staff! We happened to catch their 3 course set menu during the slow season for $25 CAD. Good value and great way to try a few different items.

Great experience! We entered the patio and we were greeted by the host who was wearing a mask. She asked if we wanted to sit indoors or outdoors. We choose outdoor as it's was a beautiful sunny day. She told us it will be 5 mins to sanitize. She wiped the table and put a timer on the table. I liked they are taking COVID measurements seriously. It was nice facing the Village as we dined. We ordered: Aperitivo for 2 - Summer of Spritz! 2 x Aperol Spritz AND a snack sized charcuterie board featuring nostrano | cacciatore | finocchiona salami | alpindon cheese | caramelized onion labneh | mustard | pickles | fig preserve | warm crostini The charcuterie was delicious! More filling than we expected. I recommend this. Baked Gnocchetti Pasta It was a good size, even for sharing. It was nice and creamy with a bit of salty smoked speck which gave great flavour with each bite. The staff were super friendly and I felt comfortable and safe dining here.

Fantastic experience! Our server, Jamie, was lovely and thoughtful. The food and drinks were incredible; so much flavour and curated beautifully. The patio space feels super COVID-safe and toasty warm. 10/10 would recommend Basalt and their wonderful staff. We will be coming back!

We had a fantastic experience at Basalt last weekend. We had a reservation for 5pm to take advantage of happy hour and it did not disappoint! We had the Aperitivo for 2 and both the charcuterie board and drinks were excellent! They also served probably the best espresso martini I've ever had in my life and were happy to make it even though it's not on the menu. The staff were awesome and we had an especially great interaction with who I assume to be the Manager or Front of House.....unfortunately we didn't catch her name but she really looked after us. We got a great seat on the patio and were really impressed at the COVID safety measures they had in place. Highly recommend!

Food was really good, service was excellent, atmosphere was appropriate. Food was amazing, and the prices were what you would expect for that kind of quality. The charcuterie board was generous and the bread was delicious (you will run out of bread so you need to order more). They will charge for extra bread. Eggs Benny was really good and wasn't too salty. Make sure you make reservations in advance before going for dinner because they are really popular. I recommended at least 2 days in advance.

I find ordering a hash at brunch risky business. They can end up a mushy mash of uncoordinated flavours. This hash, however, was a hearty win. We could taste each of its components independently and they blended together well. Unfortunately, it was the daily special and it will evaporate come mid night. But if the special was this good, I’m sure their regular items are great too. Here’s a picture of the end result after we ravaged it.

Its rustic yet modern interior designed by FRANK Architecture provides an inviting atmosphere for guests to enjoy their meals. Additionally, the restaurant features family-style seating arrangements that add to its charm.
I went to have dinner with my boyfriend and what a lovely surprice that they have available a easy menu with an afforable price in Whistler. You can choose your favourite protein (I really recommend beef brisket), side (many options, vegetarian or not) sauce (3 options) and bread (2 options). 33$ pp, and also you can offer an amazing dessert plus 9$ (cheese cake jummy!) The place is cozy, and enough elegant for Whistler without pressure. I also sent for luch but It wasn't so good as the dinner. I mean, It was good but not amazing as I tasted the dinner.

Lots of breakfast and brunch options here! They have a lovely outdoor seating with fire running and all. Perfect for a nice summer day. Loved their fried buttermilk chicken sandwich but didn’t like the chicken and waffles that much. The chicken was a bit undercooked but it could be just one day. Will definitely try the other options in the future. The server was super nice and took me on a mini tour of the facility when I asked her about the food options. Coffee and bakery goods are amazing.

Whistler’s packed with great eats, but this place stole the show. Breakfast Chicken and Waffles is to die for. You get Chicken, Waffles, Cranberries and Hazelnuts on it, alongside country gravy or maple syrup. Absolutely the best chicken and waffles ive ever had. This restaurant is highly recommended. Atmosphere is really nice as well. Would love to come back sometime and try other meals.

La Cantina Tacos, also known as Urban Taco Bar, is a popular spot in Whistler for its made-to-order tacos, burritos, and quesadillas served alongside beers and margaritas. The restaurant offers indoor and covered outdoor seating options. It's recommended to order ahead for takeout and enjoy the nearby playground while waiting. The menu features a variety of Mexican street food including chips and guacamole, street tacos, and giant burritos.
Tacos La Cantina in Whistler is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the cozy and inviting atmosphere—the decor is fun and colorful, with a vibe that makes you instantly feel at home. The staff were friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall great experience. Now, the tacos… wow! They were simply incredible. Each bite was bursting with fresh flavors, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The combination of ingredients was spot-on, and you could really tell that everything was made with care. Even the sides and sauces complemented the tacos beautifully, making the meal truly memorable. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or enjoying a relaxed meal with friends, this place is a must-visit in Whistler. I can’t recommend it enough! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My wife and I stopped by La Cantina Urban Taco Bar in Whistler and enjoyed the nice outdoor seating area. We opted for the Chicken Tinga, which was okay, but the portion size was surprisingly small. $5.25 for one taco seemed steep, and our bill for two small 4-inch tacos came out to be $14. While the tacos were decent, we've had better at other places. That being said, it's possible that their other menu options might be more impressive. If you're in Whistler, it's worth a visit to try their tacos, but be aware of the prices and portion sizes.

Great visit! Staff was on point, restaurant was very clean and organized. Sauces were amazing! We had the chicken tinga burrito and the beef pasilla burrito. Nothing fancy…. Just a really good burrito. The only complaint would be the really REALLY CRAMPED. Small price to pay for great food at a reasonable price! Will be back!
Ben C — Google review
The food here is not authentic and is very disappointing if you’re expecting good Mexican food. The taco portions are very small and don’t taste great. The soup was very salty, the meat didn’t taste very fresh, and just tasted like fast food. The food was also fairly pricy, we would not recommend.
Forest B — Google review
Very reasonable price, quick service. Food tastes great, each taco has a generous portion of toppings on it. Comes with an array of sauces. Good frozen margaritas. Each taco comes with 2 tortillas, so makes it easy to share if you order different varieties.

I always enjoy coming to La Cantina Village. My go-to order is the tortilla soup, tacos, and a refreshing mandarin Jarritos. The tortilla soup is consistently delicious, topped with sour cream and feta cheese. I also appreciate that they provide a variety of salsas that guests can help themselves to, very convenient. The tacos were flavorful, and the food was served at the perfect temperature. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, with spotless floors and tidy tables. The staff is always friendly and attentive, and Manager Tony made a point of checking in at my table to ensure I was enjoying my meal. She also asked about allergies or intolerances before finalizing my order, which shows excellent attention to detail and genuine care for the guests. It’s clear that guests here feel happy and well taken care of, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the food offers great value for money. A place I’ll always look forward to coming back to

Tandoori Grill Indian Cuisine is a hidden gem located on the second floor of a shopping complex in Whistler, BC. Since 1997, this restaurant has been delighting diners with its authentic Indian fare and extensive vegan-friendly menu. While they offer chicken, lamb, and fish dishes, their specialty lies in Tandoor cooking and an array of vegetarian options like Channa Masala and Aloo Gobhi.
Fantastic lunch spot in the heart of Whistler. We enjoyed a delicious curry while sitting outside in the sunshine—hard to beat the setting, with snow-capped peaks in the distance and a laid-back Olympic village vibe all around. The food was fresh and full of flavour, and the Cobra beer hit the spot. Service was friendly and efficient, and it’s easy to see why this place has earned such high ratings. A great surprise and a real treat—would definitely return!

I recently dined at Tandoori Grill and had a wonderful experience. The food was authentic, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish tasted fresh and perfectly seasoned — just like traditional Indian home-style cooking. The staff were professional, attentive, and made sure everything was served on time. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a great spot for both families and friends. Overall, a great place for anyone who loves genuine Indian cuisine. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Shubham G — Google review
I don’t want to be rude, but the quantity they’re offering for the price they’re charging is too low. For example, I paid $22 for each baby pot dish, and it wasn’t even filled properly. Three of us ended up with empty dishes. Overall, the quality of the food was great, and the taste and service were also good.

5 Yumms! Meaning 5 Stars all the way. Food was freshly made, delicious, authentic taste and superb service; it all defines this restaurant. It is closer to Whatler Village and also where we stayed. Large portions and tasty treat for sure. The restaurant is located on the second floor at this address, somewhat right above Domino's.

We had a wonderful meal here! Ordered the briyani, naan, peshwari naan, and chicken tikka – everything was delicious and the portions were generous (we even had leftovers to take home). The service was excellent; staff checked in on us throughout and made sure we were well taken care of. A great spot for tasty Indian food and a satisfying dining experience.

I recently made the mistake of placing a phone order for pick-up at Tandoor Grill India Cuisine, and I cannot even begin to explain how horrendous the entire experience was. From the very start, it was a disaster, and I’m honestly still in disbelief at how bad it was. The food? Absolutely appalling. It was beyond bland—tasteless, poorly prepared, and had zero resemblance to real Indian cuisine. I could have had better food from a frozen meal at the grocery store. To top it off, they had the audacity to charge premium prices for this garbage. It’s outrageous that they think people will pay for this kind of trash. The service? Equally infuriating. I called ahead, confirmed my order, and was told it would be ready at a certain time. When I got there to see completely messed up my order. Half the items were missing. And don’t even get me started on the staff—they acted like they couldn’t care less. And the prices? A total rip-off. I honestly feel like I got scammed paying so much for food that was downright awful. If I could give this place a zero-star rating, I would. Avoid this place at all costs. It's clear they have no respect for their customers or the food they serve.

Il Caminetto is a modern and stylish restaurant that offers authentic Italian dishes made with local ingredients and an extensive selection of global wines, including many regional Italian options. The restaurant has received accolades for its curated wine selection and features in-house made pastas and breads. With a warm Tuscan welcome, the restaurant exudes a lively yet subdued ambiance, making it the perfect place to enjoy hearty pasta dishes after a day on the slopes.
Sabrina was such a lovely waitress, helpful, attentive and great recommendations. The food was absolutely delicious. Everything we got we loved! Love the atmosphere too. Highly recommend trying this out on your next whistler trip.

Visited Il Caminetto in June. This spot is located in the heart of Whistler Village. Started out with a Mango Limeade ($9) and Blood Orange Spritz ($13) both of which were quite refreshing. Had the Gem Lettuce Caesar ($22.5) - kind of wish it had a more robust dressing. Also wasn't a huge fan of having to cut up my lettuce. The Quebec Veal Milanese ($47.5) was a filling dish with thinly sliced and crispy veal. The Halibut ($56.5) was also filling with 2 pieces of meaty halibut. Overall good flavours and nice to visit an Italian restaurant that has more than just pasta on the menu.
Penny S — Google review
Sometimes it's not about the food, it's about the experience. I've explored Western Canada for two weeks and decided to splurge at Il Caminetto in Whistler. To start, the food is fine. My experience started with making a reservation and the only times were 5:00pm and 9:00pm. I chose 5:00. I didn't want to be late and be turned away, but I inadvertently arrived 15 minutes early. Apparently they open at 5:00, so I was asked to sit outside and wait. Just before 5:00, they came out and took a few walk ins, ignoring me sitting there. When I was seated inside, all the tables were empty in my section. The tables have a weird leg configuration splaying out from the center so they were right where you put your legs. Strange. I had to contort my legs to fit somehow. My server, Lindsey, was the highlight of the dinner. The best service I've had in as long as I can remember. He gave vibes of Delbert Grady, the butler in the Shining who convinced Jack to kill his family. Lindsey just convinced me to get dessert. Lindsey is better than this restaurant. Anyway, I left at just before 7:00 and there were still many tables empty. I just don't understand making me reserve the first seating. As I said, the food was fine, it was just way overpriced. I guess it's just Whistler.
J G — Google review
I visited this restaurant to celebrate my mom’s birthday. While I didn’t have a reservation, I called in and ended up on the waitlist. About two hours later, a bar seat opened up. We were excited to try their menu for their 44th anniversary. First off, the host team was amazing. They were warm, welcoming, and helpful. Their professionalism set a positive tone for the evening. We got the $44 four-course menu and added a few supplements: the Polpettine Crisp Wagyu Meatballs (+7) was excellent and definitely worth trying, while the Lobster + Saffron Spaghetti (+18) was underwhelming. The dish lacked much flavour, and the lobster meat didn’t quite stand out. The Grilled Octopus + Pork Jowl (+12) was enjoyable, though the octopus portion was quite small. The pork jowl had an interesting flavour, almost like a refined version of spam. For dessert, the Torta di Ricotta was on the sweeter side for my taste, but the Tiramisu was delicious. Overall, the food met our expectations and showcased great quality and creativity. However, the service really fell short. After being seated, we waited over 10 minutes without even being acknowledged, despite at least 4-5 people behind the bar. One passed by a couple of times and we made eye contact and I tried to call them over but was ignored. They began polishing glasses while we were clearly ready to order. I completely understand it being a busy night and we were at the bar, but as someone who also works in hospitality, I believe a simple acknowledgment goes a long way. That said, one of the bartenders did stand out with a smile, which we appreciated. He kept the service from falling apart. Still, the overall service felt lacklustre, which is a shame given how good the food is. Table service seemed more attentive, so perhaps the bar team could use some additional training to match that standard. Hopefully with a bit more attentiveness behind the bar, the experience could truly live up to the food.

Dinner at II Caminetto was the highlight of the day since the mountains were closed this season. We had the prix fixe menu and my husband added wine pairing too. Food was great, the wines were so-so, but the dessert made up for it. Highly recommend the tiramisu, gelato and beef tartare.
Debby S — Google review
Impeccable service from the second you are seated to the moment you leave. The food is incredible, cooked and seasoned to perfection. The prix fixe menu is beyond worth it and portioned perfectly!
Angelina N — Google review
Got the $44 or so fall meal and we sat at the bar as we wanted to go day-of and just try the menu out. Their service at the bar was good and their risotto was the best I’ve ever had. However, I had the ling cod. Before ordering, I asked if there was an alternative to the olive relish or just to simply not have it, either would’ve been preferred. The bar tender looked at me, confirmed it, and put the order in. It came out with the olive relish completely on it, absolutely no regard for the request. The bartender apologized and gave me a side plate if I wanted to take the relish off or to remake the meal (which I didn’t want to waste) For a 100$+ meal, I’d expect better on the first try. Service and pace was a lot faster than Wild Blue.

The restaurant has a lovely ambiance and outdoor seating, making it a great place to catch up with friends or have an intimate meal. While the vegan options are limited, they do offer a Beyond Meat burger with vegan chipotle mayo and a chickpea 'tofu' bowl. Despite the lack of desserts and appetizers, the main course options are quite good.
Sat inside because it was a chilly June evening but has nice patio. Attentive friendly service. Food was delicious and came up quickly. Water bottles at the table are a nice touch for post ride hydration. It seems like a good value

I searched for brunch spots in Whistler and chose this place carefully, especially since I was coming from downtown Vancouver. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite meet my expectations. The avocado toast, in particular, wasn’t great—it was one of the least enjoyable versions I’ve had. The Instagram videos made the food look a lot more appealing than it actually was. I suppose I should’ve looked into more reviews before deciding.

Me, my son and his partner had an amazing brunch. Meg was so helpful with mine and my son’s dietary requirements. Me as gluten intolerant and my son as vegetarian who doesn’t like eggs. The drinks were so good. The green salad is AMAZING. We had a great time and will be back. I got the gluten free BLT with cheese and OMG. Yes! Thanks so much for a memorable brunch with beautiful views.

I always dine at Stonesedge every time I'm in Whistler. Amazing service and great food as always! Love the cozy atmosphere too. We had some much fun with our server Luka. Had a great time!

We ordered garlic prawns, chicken buffalo wings, a chicken burger, and one drink. The garlic prawns cost around $18 but came with only three prawns, as you can see in the picture. The buffalo wings tasted fine but were clearly not fresh — they seemed frozen. The chicken burger was disappointing and lacked flavor. Our total bill for just these few items was $120, which felt extremely overpriced given the poor quality and small portions. We decided to visit after reading the Google reviews and seeing the price range, but it turned out to be very misleading. Overall, we don’t recommend this restaurant — definitely not worth the money.

PRO'S: Stonesedge Kitchen is an excellent casual dining place. We had brunch & dinner during our stay in Whistler Village. Had a nice experience at Zog’s - they were about to close at 5pm (we didn’t know they closed that early) - but they got in a large order for us very last minute, which we so appreciated, as they easily could’ve closed up and said no! Multiple families were all happy with their poutine, sausages, hot dogs and veggie burgers! They have veggie gravy option too for the poutine. Hot, plentiful and tasty! Thank you Zog’s for your kindness, as I’m sure you all just wanted to get home after a busy weekend!! Lots of picnic benches to sit at or round tables to stand and enjoy your food.

Missed opportunity to convert a nice place at first sight into a decent dining experience Let’s be clear here, it’s first price frozen food. From the salad to the steak, it’s a shame to price a double cheeseburger at 18$ and 8$ for a (big) portion of cheap fries. Hopefully, there is a great assortment of sauces that will help you to cover the bad industrial taste. Don’t go there until they change their food provider.
Alex C — Google review

Looking for a quick lunch and want to avoid the mad rush on top of the mountain? Than look no more than Zogs! The food came out quick, and the food was really good. I will say that it the fry serving size was massive, but the poutine was a little on the smaller size. I do wish it was a larger sausage size, but it was cooked deliciously.

Zogs is a great place to stop to get some food fast! Their poutine is good and easy to eat on the go. I like that they have a toppers bar to add on. They also use wood forks which I love! I would go back to grab a snack and time.

Good portion, but not a good poutine at all. They advertise with "best poutine in Whistler", which can't be true. Not many cheese curds, gravy was very average and fries weren't good either. The "European" sausage was neither European nor cooked enough. It tasted really bad. Overall I'm giving a very generous 2/5 stars. Service was okay and obviously great location. Would not eat here again.
Steffen K — Google review
Sign out front claimed best poutine in Whistler, so we had to try being from California. Fries were good. We asked for them to be cooked crispy. The gravy was.. gravy. I’m not sure what poutine gravy is supposed to be. We asked for the gravy on the side. Let’s be honest, who likes soggy fries?! We went back a second time for lunch after some laps in the bike park. The bratwurst had great flavor. My gf got the bacon cheeseburger which was devoured quickly. Highly rated. Great little spot right by the lift/ gondola area. Post mountain bike riding or skiing.

Tapley's Neighbourhood Pub is a lively and popular spot in Whistler, known for its energetic atmosphere, bar fare, and tap beers. It's a favorite among locals and tourists alike, offering a strong selection of taps from local breweries like Whistler Brewing Co. and Deep Cove. The pub also hosts occasional live music nights and broadcasts sporting events on multiple screens.
We stopped by at Tapley's for lunch as the other poutine place we picked didn't have sitting area. The first thing that stood out was our server, Brooke who guided us to the table. She's amazingly pleasant and promptly took our order right after we sat down. The food is above average, the yam fries and poutine are delicious, the rest nothing spectacular to write home about and the interior is just like any other old pubs. Like other reviews, the service is what sets it apart from other restaurants. Well done Brooke, I would come back again the next time I visit Whistler. 😄

Hotel said to go anywhere but Tapley's. But they had sports and good tv setup so I went in. Door person is doing their thing - stopping everyone and taking your photo before entry (ok?). Inside wasn't even busy. No server to be seen so I talked to bar. The bar is obviously running the place to encourage patrons to order at bar. But it's Whistler Village - should be focused on customer service. It'd be fine I guess but then I got my food. Terrible. The ownership should regroup and think about what they want to be. You have the opportunity to be the best sports bar in Whistler. Instead of a place hotels tell you to avoid because "service is terrible".

We really liked the soup that we ordered - it was red curry soup. It is definitely overpriced, I paid $20 for 2 soups but don’t be surprised because this is what you usually will expect to pay in Whistler. The server at the front was very unfriendly, she was unwelcoming and gave mean attitude when I didn’t tip her when I was ordering my food. I don’t understand why places expect you to tip before you eat and experience the food. When I asked her what the soup was made of , she said she didn’t know and gave me more attitude when I asked her to find out since I am allergic to certain ingredients. Overall, I really enjoyed my lunch but the service was horrible.

I got the burger with salad.the mustard dressing with beets was a great salad combination. The beet burger was wonderful with the onions. I loved the buckwheat pancakes. The 9 yr old I was with loved the beets too! I needed this restaurant to help me fuel my day in a healthy way. Thank you for your food, from a vegan tourist!

I came here with my parents and had a net positive experience here despite the 3 stars. It's a small place, with about 3 tables inside and 3 outside, but they do provide real plates, cutlery, etc for dining in. The staff were very friendly. They were out of a few things - no more oatmeal and only one serving of matcha left when we all wanted matcha, but the alternatives that we went with were still appealing, so it wasn't a big deal. The one matcha went to my mom, and it seemed like she got the scraps of it because it looked and tasted pretty watery. I got a chai latte which was pretty good but a little grainy. The food on the other hand was really good. I got the buckwheat pancakes and tried some of the smoothie bowl. The pancakes were hearty and fluffy, topped with a delicious berry chia jam and cashew cream. The plate came with 3 small-ish pancakes which was a satisfying portion that wasn't too much. We were also asked if we wanted maple syrup with the pancakes, but I ended up not needing to add any because the jam and cream were enough. Maple syrup is $2 for a small cup so I would recommend skipping it unless you really want something sweeter. The jam and cream are just modestly sweet which was perfect for me. The blueberry smoothie bowl was also delicious and came with lots of toppings - their granola had a delightful texture. It was a bit of a wait for food, so ordering the breakfast plates is probably not the best option if you're in a hurry, but they have ready-to-eat stuff available if you do want something quick, and the drinks didn't take long. I would have liked to return if I were in Whistler longer to try more of their food menu.

I was so grateful to find vegan, gluten-free and organic food in Whistler. I ordered three different dishes with my family and the matcha latte and am so sad to say that I was unimpressed by all of them. The food was very bland (just veggies complied together) with a really heavy garlic sauce. It all lacked flavour. The latte was extremely watery and had chunks on something in it (my guess is nuts from the nut milk). I wanted to love it and support, but the food for the price just does not make sense.

Such a nice little cafe in Function Junction. Delicious and nutritious meals and very kind and efficient service! We had the Rise N Shine wrap and the smoothie bowl and both were lovely.
Michelle L — Google review
We were really disappointed with the food here. Both the wrap and pancakes were really tasteless. The description of the wrap seemed promising but it was just hummus (not good) and a huge amount of shredded carrots wrapped together with no salt, no sauce and no taste. I'm rarely disappointed by organic vegan food but this place really doesn't hold justice to it. I guess the cheesecake was at least alright even if it really didn't taste like a cheesecake.

Absolutely love the idea and the design. Everything made is fresh, healthy and organic!! Very friendly and hospitable employees, they’re happy to serve their customers. Loved the chai tea, their daily special soup and Rise ‘N’ Shine Warp. Custom orders can be placed as well. Definitely recommend checking out this business.

Mount Currie Coffee Company is a well-established coffee spot in Whistler, with its first cafe opening in Pemberton in 2005 and a second location appearing in the main village seven years later. The corner location near the pedestrian village stroll makes it popular among locals.
High quality cafe located at the corner of the heart of Whistler village. Their breakfast croissant, dessert crossiant, wraps, coffee and smoothies were amazing. Charged us up after a hike on the mountain on a sunny day. Limited parking outside.

Such a delicious coffee! Sometimes little shops have coffee that is too strong or too sharp but this was absolute perfection! Casual setting, super cute place with some seating. Very friendly staff. I will be back!

Every time we come to whistler we have to open the day at this amazing place. Cafe 10/10 and there is such a good verity for pastries and breakfasts. Good location and nice vibe.

Just got an iced americano but it was delicious. :) Also their cups are made out of recycled pets. See pic for details!

Good coffee with good pricing. I like that we could choose our beans as someone who cares about it :) I drank there every single day!
Kartiki B — Google review
Tried most of the coffee shops (starbucks, arabica, blenz) in whistler this is by far the best by a landslide. Ordered a vanilla latte. Perfect ratio of coffee, milk and sweetener. Quite possibly one of the best in BC

This place is decent. I tried the chorizo burrito and it was pretty good. Would have preferred hot sauce with it instead of the salsa. I was not a fan of the mocha with maple syrup in it at all. Just wasn’t to my liking. The service was top notch though. I would give this place another chance and try a few other items next time I’m out here.

Food options seemed good, only got to try the stud muffin which was a solid value with hearty flavor, but could use a little more ham to sandwich ratio. My group wasn’t wowed by the canadiano, coffee not to our taste.

Pub
Roland's Creekside Pub is a cozy, sports-themed establishment that offers a variety of pub grub and a full bar with an array of beers. The pub features big screen TVs for cheering on favorite sports teams, as well as opportunities to mingle with locals, play darts, and enjoy Canadian pints. While there isn't a designated Happy Hour, Roland's offers free parking, WiFi access, and daily food and drink specials.
Not sure if you can curse in google reviews because I would want to so I can describe how much I loved this place! It's just freaking great for everything you want from a pub. Strong drinks, done. Perfectly fried/cooked comfort food, done. Tvs at all angles so you can enjoy while you feast and drink, done. No notes. Went twice to eat during one trip, would go back many more times.

Awesome place to go after a swim, food was delicious. As you can see in the picture. They’ve done some great renovations to add a bike rack and motorcycle parking !

Visiting Whistler from the island, Roland’s is now our 100% go to. An inviting, comfortable pub style atmosphere with excellent service and fantastic- melt in your mouth- dining options for all culinary desires! Affordably to boot! The service is always friendly and with sports on the tvs, and darts in house it feels like home. Special shout out to Dan, our server twice, who made sure our experience was not only met with friendly, kind service but with a handshake like a friend. We will absolutely be back next visit.

Best Burger i have had in a long time. Kitchen was on point. The guy taking the order on the phone should not be in customer service though. The bartender too had a snarky attitude. And for what ? Management is going to come here and say, thank you for your feedback we will talk to the team...

Our server(Australian male) on August 7th evening was extremely rude and aggressive towards us. Seemed like he just wanted us out of there ASAP. Other staff were good, food and drinks were good but he ruined the experience so won't be back.

Worst nachos Ive had in years. Please change the description to “basket of old corn chips with traces of cheese. “ Great hang out though, good people.
Jimi C — Google review
Pub fare, elevated and executed properly. Our meal at Roland's was a pleasant surprise, from the fresh fish on the Baja fish tacos to the burgers served on a tasty brioche bun, Roland's beats expectations. We tried some dishes that we're understandably average (the nachos and poutine were exactly what you'd expect, nothing fancy) but the veggie burger was a moist and tasty mix of lentils and chickpeas, with a fresh side salad. Prices were on the slightly high end for pub fare, but when you're in a location like this, it's forgivable. For a healthy lunch, this place has competition from Nita Lake Lodge, right next door.

Wild Blue Restaurant + Bar is a new and highly praised dining spot in Whistler, featuring a stunning boomerang-shaped bar and a plush dining room. The bar offers the full menu with superb service, making it an ideal place to enjoy creative mixology like the Phoenix cocktail. The restaurant boasts an exceptional team of servers, sommeliers, bartenders, and cooks who have brought their expertise from top establishments in Whistler.
We’ve eaten at some very nice places in Whistler but Wild Blue is our favorite. Nice ambiance, good energy, perfect lighting. Service was helpful, engaging and attentive. We ordered a small Wagu to complement dinner and it was mouth watering. The sticky toffee was a great end to the evening. The cauliflower “salad” was tasty and creative. My long cod was cooked perfectly. We will be back !
Eric B — Google review
We visited Wild Blue to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and it was absolutely worth the 3-hour drive to get there. We had the Prix Fixe menu, and every course was beautifully made with great balance and flavor. It’s a seasonal menu, so it might change in winter, which is a bit disappointing because everything was amazing! So, Please, DO NOT MISS IT!!! The atmosphere was cozy and elegant — no ceiling lights, but each table had its own warm-toned lamp, creating the perfect mood for conversation and dining. Our server was very kind and attentive, providing excellent service throughout the night. The wine pairing went perfectly with each dish, making the meal even more enjoyable. We came with our child, and we were happy to see that they offer a kids’ menu, so families can enjoy the experience together. The only small downside was that the soap dispenser in the restroom wasn’t working. I let the front desk know, but it still wasn’t fixed when we left. Hopefully, they can pay a bit more attention to those small details next time. Overall, everything else was truly perfect — amazing food, beautiful ambiance, and great service. We’d definitely come back again!

An exceptional dining experience. From atmosphere, to service, to innovative dishes…we felt Wild Blue had a great prix fixe menu to celebrate a special occasion this fall. The cocktails are amazing and bar top is beautifully designed. The service felt intentional and well-paced. From the prix fixe menu I recommend the corn bisque and cauliflower caesar. We added on the octopus appetizer which was amazing and tender. The rotolo pasta tastes like an elevated lasagna and I love the pickling on the trout crudo. For our mains, I do regret not trying the steak (it looked great). Instead I had the cavatelli which is still a lovely shape and good eat. For dessert, do yourself a favour and get the sticky toffee pudding. Overall, I would highly recommend Wild Blue as your fine dining choice this season!

Had a fantastic experience. The room is absolutely beautiful. As soon as we opened the wine menu the sommelier was at our table to chat. Our server was amazing and knowledgeable. The Prix Fixe menu was very well executed and the wine pairings were perfect. The desserts were a standout to an exceptional dinner. There was a problem with our OpenTable reservation not showing up in the system despite us having received confirmation and proof of the reservation. The first host that greeted us seemed unable to help us and less than accommodating. Luckily someone else was able to sort out the issue and took care of us.
Adrian V — Google review
Yes, the food is beautifully plated and tasted amazing. Yes, the atmosphere is hip, sophisticated yet warm and welcoming. But what I was most impressed with is the service. Wow! They deserve 6 stars for their top notch service. - I witnessed them navigating difficult customers (can’t decide, took forever to decide.. ) with so much patience and finesse. I would highly recommend you make this a stop when in Whistler - especially if you want to impress a date with your good taste!
La M — Google review
We went there for the ~$43/44 meal as we wanted to try the menus. Would make a reso as they fill up days in advance and wait times can be 1+ hr. Food was good, both entrees in my opinion did not go together well (on the plate). For example, we got the ling cod, where the fish was warm but the rest of the plate was cold (probably plating) and it had this thick dark sauce (it almost looked like squid ink), and it coated the vegetables (specifically the leek and the shiso pepper?). The service was good, but the pace between plates was way too slow, like we’d sit there for 10+ minutes in between dishes. I’d say their appetizer/salads and desserts were the star of the show.

Came to BC to visit my brother for my 50th birthday. A girl I work with used to work in Whistler and recommended you guys. My brother is a bit of food snob and an introvert but because I’m the oldest and it being my birthday he gave in and booked us a spot at the bar. Me personally I love the bar, I’ve served and bartended for 30 years and I love being front row and center of all the action. From the time we sat down, our bartender made us feel welcome and was super informative. We asked her name but I totally forget it (young, long brown hair and glasses) We were there 2.5 hours, did the 4 course meal. After our meal, we walked back to the hotel and my brother said “now THAT was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in a restaurant. I’m from Nova Scotia and not only will I be back, but you will be highly recommended to all I know visiting Whistler. Thank you for making my 50th a memorable one with great food, atmosphere, drink and AMAZING staff.

The staff were attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made us feel welcomed throughout the entire dining experience. The food was outstanding — beautifully presented, fresh, and bursting with flavor. Every dish tasted thoughtfully crafted with high-quality ingredients, and the balance of flavors was perfect. The drinks were also a highlight, carefully prepared and paired wonderfully with the meal. This restaurant is a gem, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an elevated dining experience. I can’t wait to return!

Pub
Nestled in the serene Upper Village, The Fitzsimmons Pub is a beloved local haunt offering a cozy and modern-rustic ambiance. With its inviting wooden bar and comfortable seating, it's an ideal spot to unwind while savoring their selection of craft beers and top-notch whiskey. The pub's sunlit patio provides a delightful setting for leisurely drinks during warmer days, while indoor patrons can enjoy board games and engaging conversations with the friendly staff.
Bartender knew what we has doing. That's not too common BTW. Had a whisky sour and margarita. Both were top notch. Well balanced and made with mid range booze. Great place to stop if you looking for a good drink with your spouse like I was.
Matt H — Google review
The Fitz pub is iconic. Great craft beers and equally great craft cocktails. They don’t have coors light on tap.. they only serve fresh BC local brews, and rotate their taps every time a keg is empty. That said they’re careful to balance the available options. There’s almost always an IPA, a lager, a sour and so on. They even carry great locally brewed Non-alcoholic options which is important too. It’s the place to be if you’re looking for a local feel. The regular patrons are mostly ski instructors and hospitality professionals who are eager to chat and share their knowledge of the town and attractions. A friendly and inviting atmosphere always. It’s an excellent place to get aprés ski drinks or before and after whatever it is you’ve been enjoying in Whistler. They are a genuine pub and don’t have a kitchen, however the bar snacks are not to be missed. From locally produced pepperoni sticks and beef jerky to popcorn and candy they’ve got something for all types of hankerings. The staff are people who you’ll make friends with immediately. People who genuinely care about and want to enrich your experience. It’s a great place to meet people who are genuinely passionate about the town and everything that it has to offer. If you end up visiting, please save a seat for me.

10/10 on their BC craft cider collection (1 cider on tap at time of visit, plenty plenty more in the fridge to try), holy moly. Their BC craft beer choices are pretty solid too. Small, chill cozy bar. Veronica was a sweetheart and knows her ciders n' beers. Had an awesome evening hanging out here and chatting with friendly fellow beer & cider lovers, defs recommend!

It's Whistler's coziest & most friendly pub. There is simply no other place in Whistler that I would rather have a beer at. BYOFF = Bring Your Own Food Friendly. The short & chubby meat sticks rule. 😂

HandleBar Pizza is a cozy and cool spot that offers a wide variety of craft beers, including local and imported IPAs, sours, and ales. They also have an impressive selection of spirits and non-alcoholic options like alcohol-free beer, ginger beer, and sodas. The menu features German-inspired cuisine such as currywurst and grilled bratwurst, along with pub food staples like deep-fried pickles and cauliflower wings.
Very busy spot but they get food out reasonably fast. Smaller selection of beers but the pizza is fantastic. Ordered the Hawaiian and basically said mmmm every bite. The large was perfect to share with 4 people. Will definitely be back next time we’re in the area.

They have the cutest little glasses for beer! Never seen them so small. Perfect for me right now as I’m trying to reduce the intake. It’s open pretty late so a great option for some late night snacks. I had a slice each of Pepperoni and Spicy calabrese. Server is super nice! Brings your food and drinks to the table (unheard of in a pizza establishment) so don’t forget to tip!

I found this pizza place near Whistler Village with great reviews, and while the place itself is a bit dingy, the pizza was overall excellent. I live in Vancouver and try new pizza spots almost every month, and this one had some of the best dough I’ve had! Was nearly perfect. The sauce was also good too, but most pizzas were quite spicy, making it hard to taste it fully. I tried a few different slices, and almost all were on the spicy side, I wish spice level was optional because this place has serious potential to be a favorite.

Legitimately some of my favorite pizza I have ever had, and I've eaten quite a few slices throughout New York and Italy. The hot honey pepperoni slice with ranch on the side is next level.

I went there once almost an entire year ago now and still think about it. I’m usually never able to eat more than 3 slices of a 12” pizza, but just my husband and I absolutely demolished one of these 18” pizzas in under 15 minutes. Truly the best pizza I’ve ever had; if I ever visit Canada again I know where I’m eating.
