The Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre is a modern facility that showcases the rich cultural heritage of the Squamish and Lil'wat Nations. Designed by renowned First Nations architect Alfred Waugh, the center serves as a repository for artifacts and historical documents while also educating visitors about the art, culture, and storytelling traditions of these two distinct nations.
My friends and I recently visited this beautiful cultural centre in Whistler. Aside from the space being bright and inviting, the exhibits were really interesting. We were just in time for a short walking tour that started after a short video in the theater. I recommend watching the video and taking the tour as the lovely lady provided additional information about the exhibits that was very interesting. Two young gentlemen performed a song with drumming that I sat and listened to and found absolutely enchanting. I even got a bit emotional listening to them. The First Nation appreciation of the Earth and nature is something that I truly admire and appreciate. I highly recommend coming to this cultural centre on your visit to Whistler.

Highly recommend you visit this cultural centre when in Whistler. We had lunch on arriving as we had just been up the Peak-to-Peak gondola and needed a rest! The salmon Chowder with bannock (a sort of fried bread roll) was absolutely fabulous. We then joined the tour (starts in the hour). A young man played a drum and sang a traditional song - beautiful and quite moving. Followed by a short video and a guided tour - really helpful to understand the lifestyle, culture and skills if the two tribes (Lil’wat and Squamish).
Martin G — Google review
We decided to check it out on a Sunday morning and it was a really good experience! It’s well managed with detailed instructions and descriptions of the Squamish Lil’wat peoples, who have a long history in the area. They have guided tours that are included in the ticket but you can also do a self-guided tour if you’d like. There are two floors, with the upper floor opening up to an open forest area, which was a highlight for me. It’s a forest walk which helps you understand the significance of trees, animals and all things nature in their culture. Must visit! 5/5
Akash B — Google review
Get here. Soak in the story of this place. Watch the introductory video, then meander through 2 floors of exquisite exhibits. Visit the lodge, and the pit house. Take your time. Then look outside, and feel the history made here. Buy a memento or two in the tasteful (not tacky) gift shop, and finish with a coffee and light dessert. You’ll be glad you came. ❤️

What a wonderful experience at Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre tour. Amazing exhibition and lot of learning during the tour. Outside of walking hill with full of Medison nature of forest west coast region. You must visit this beautiful and educational Cultural Center in Whistler.
Yun — Google review
We were able to join one of the tours (on the top of the hour) and had such a good experience. I don't think we would have learned as much just reading the signs. I found particularly impressive for how long people used to work on their traditional clothing - as well as all the things that can be made with cedar. The building is beautiful and the exhibits are quite interesting, you can see canoes, regalia, stories, building structure, and learn about the language. There is also a nice gift shop with native art and a café to relax.
Petra N — Google review
Very much enjoyed the cultural center and learning about the Squamish and Lil’wat cultures. The building is stunning, the displays are very interesting and the film is a definite must. The young staff members did a great job on the tours.

The Audain Art Museum, located in Whistler, British Columbia, showcases a diverse collection of art from the province's First Peoples to contemporary masters. The museum features an impressive array of First Nations masks, Emily Carr paintings, and works by renowned Canadian artists such as Jeff Wall and Rodney Graham.
Terrific art collection including west coast indigenous masks and carvings, Emily Carr, EJ Hughes, and more! Stunning architectural purpose built building. Well curated gift shop. Don't miss this gem while visiting Whistler.
Henrik B — Google review
Been waiting for exploring this great museum for 3 years haha! The permanent exhibition of indigenous First Nation mask collection from the great artist Beau Dick has been stunning! The current great photographer works of snowy mountain landscapes are awesome too! The architectural design of the whole museum itself is already somewhere you wanna just stay and read and relax in Whistler here! ❤️❤️🌷🌷👍👍
Avis W — Google review
Our visit to the Audain Art Museum was a total pleasure. We’d never heard of the museum before and it was only because an acquaintance recommended a special exhibit, Gathered Leaves, that we decided to make the 2-hour drive from Vancouver to Whistler. We were amazed by the beautiful architecture of the museum building, simple and elegant and still stunning. We visited the Gathered Leaves exhibit and were impressed by the works displayed. These were sketches and drawings from the National Gallery of Canada, which included work by artists such as Degas, Munch, and older artists. We also visited the Permanent Collection which consumed another great and enjoyable amount of time. First Nations artwork and work by EJ Hughes and Gordon Smith captured our attention the most. Overall, this was a wonderful day and we strongly recommend the museum – plus, if you’re not a Whistler resident, you get to experience a fantastic drive along the coast!
Geoff G — Google review
We liked the architecture but the exhibits did not meet our expectations. The masks were really cool but we wanted more details and information on each individual mask. We felt there was a lot lacking.
Brinlie C — Google review
Audain Art Museum is a gem tucked into the forested edge of Whistler Village. The architecture alone is worth the visit—sleek, quiet, and perfectly in tune with the natural surroundings. Inside, the permanent collection is rich with Indigenous art, especially the stunning masks, and works by Emily Carr and other BC legends. It’s curated with care and feels deeply connected to the region’s artistic roots. On the downside, admission isn’t cheap, and while the space is beautiful, some temporary exhibits can feel a bit sparse depending on timing. Also, if you’re not into visual arts, it might feel like a quick walkthrough. Still, for anyone curious about BC’s cultural depth, it’s a peaceful and inspiring stop. Pair it with a stroll through the nearby trails for a full Whistler experience.
Haniyeh G — Google review
Great little museum in Whistler - features local BC and Canadian artists. Really cool to see where I grew up through their eyes
Desiree M — Google review
We took a rest day from skiing and visited this museum mid week. Audain is a high quality museum with an impressive primary collection. Of course there’s many First Nation pieces like interesting masks and bronze castings, but there’s also pieces from ground breaking BC artists like Emily Carr. The building is gorgeous and the wooded setting is a perfect match with the museum’s collections. We really enjoyed our visit!
Sybrina S — Google review
Very interesting collection of art as well as a very unique building to wander around and wonder how it was constructed.

Nestled at the edge of the forest near Lost Lake in beautiful Whistler, Scandinave Spa offers a Nordic-inspired wellness experience. The spa encourages guests to indulge in a rejuvenating regimen that includes alternating between hot and cold pools, steam rooms, and invigorating waterfall rinses. Visitors can also enjoy eucalyptus steam baths, followed by a series of hot baths and refreshing plunges under chilly cascades.
Amazing day on my own at the spa. I had a Swedish massage by Lise-Anne. She was amazing,I’ve never had a massage as good!! Thank you Lisa-Anne 🥰 Gorgeous setting, silence is key. Busy but fine as calm/quiet and not on top of each other. Could always get a bed, lounger, space in all sections. Lovely large towels and complimentary water stations and flavoured tea. I had the carrot cake and English tea at the bistro which was lovely. Would highly recommend, nothing like it ❤️ August 2025

Healing, rejuvenating, relaxing. This is the place for all the things. It was my second time visiting once 10 years ago. I loved it then and I love it now! I had a massage from Pavlo, truly one of the best deep tissue massages I’ve ever had. Scandinave is magical! Thank you for much needed R&R.

Many weird things... Overall spot is beautiful. However. The silent thing is just too much. You could have some areas / saunas for talking and some for the quiet time. Not EVERYONE wants to have a vipassana experience all the time. At least make 1 sauna for speaking... 🙄 Also, when I do my ice bath, I use the timer to track the breath holds and overall time in the ice. They didn't have any timer there, so I took my phone (how else I'm going to track it if you don't have a timer around and not even notifying people about it?) So, someone took my phone without my permission and manager told me,I'll get it back when I go out. 1. I don't like when people taking my items without my permission and when I don't see it 2. I didn't scroll the phone or anything. I used a timer which you don't provide (could e nice to have this "luxury" especially considering the $160 entrance fees)

The Scandinavian Spa in Whistler, Vancouver is a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. It’s very popular, so I recommend reserving your “Scandinavian Journey” in advance, especially if you’d like to book a massage. They have a large parking lot, but you can also get dropped off. Keep in mind, no alcohol is allowed, phones are prohibited and must be stored in your locker, cameras are present, and the spa is meant to be quiet. It’s not really a place for chatting loudly with friends, it’s more about relaxing, calming your mind, and enjoying the beauty of nature. The outdoor setting feels like a garden, with swings, jacuzzis, pools, and plenty of spaces to unwind. The spa provides almost everything you need, but I suggest bringing your own sandals or flip-flops for walking around the garden. Many visitors bring a book to enjoy while resting by the fire or in the quiet areas. Complimentary herbal tea is available, and it’s perfect for relaxation. They’re open until 10 p.m., so you can truly spend the whole day there. Overall, I highly recommend this place if you want to practice self-love, slow down, and give yourself a truly healing experience.

An absolutely incredible experience! The Scandinavian spa is the perfect place to relax, recharge, and escape the stress of daily life. The atmosphere is serene and calming, with beautiful natural surroundings that make you feel instantly at peace. The hot and cold therapy cycles are invigorating and leave you feeling refreshed and energized. The staff are welcoming and professional, ensuring every detail of your visit is perfect. Truly a wonderful retreat for both body and mind — highly recommended!
Mehrdad G — Google review
Fun and rejuvenating experience at the Scandinavian Spa, but they have a strict silent policy - which is weird as some people follow it to a T and others disregard it. The spa itself has a fun layout, with the hot and cold changes. It does get super busy after lunch, so the morning session is probably the best time to visit. Finally, it’s a little on the expensive side, but it’s nice for a treat.
Andy C — Google review
Got my birthday discount and a treat from front desk! Loved everything about this Spa! We were 20 minutes late because of the weather was horrible, they said 30 mins grace period is no problem! Bring your own swimming suits, slippers, water bottle, a book, hair tie for long hair and some lip balm. A think a beanie or toque is necessary in winter time to keep your head warm. We spend around 5 hours there, and is nothing but relaxing ☺️! Reservation is important to book in advance so you don’t have to be on waiting list. 📵 no phone is allowed in the SPA! No not many photos! Would go back again!!!!!
Sitong L — Google review
This place is what I invision heaven to be like- complete Tranquility in Nature. Spent 8 hours there and it went by too fast. Do anything you can to go and Experience it! The best massage I've ever gotten was the Swedish Massage here with Dante!

The Whistler Sliding Centre, operated by Whistler Sport Legacies, is a cutting-edge facility that hosted the bobsleigh, skeleton, and luge events during the 2010 Winter Olympics. It boasts the world's fastest ice track at nearly 1.5 kilometers in length. Visitors can tour the state-of-the-art venue or partake in thrilling passenger bobsleigh and skeleton rides, reaching speeds of up to 78mph (125kph).
Amazing experience!!! Ride a bobsled! Feel like an Olympian!!! Well organized, knowledgeable staff and super efficient!! The only downside is that it’s only one-ride. Highly recommended.

This was amazing! I was so nervous at first, but it really is a once in a lifetime opportunity! I’m so glad that I got to do it with my 12 year-old son. Everyone was very nice there and very helpful. Thank you!
Devorah B — Google review
Had a great time. The staff was great , from the orientation to the pilots. Loved the track walk and the experience. Loved the boost in speed as we got close to the end.
Thomas W — Google review
My family toured the centre in August, simply because a facility like this is rare and unique (and my family likes the movie Cool Runnings). It's free to go into the main building and to the track. The centre is located up a windy hill and walking wasn't recommended by the tourist Visitor Centre so we took a cab that was $10 each way. The main building has a bobsled you can jump into and a small display about the history of the spirt and the facility. There's another bobsled you can try outside as well as a section of the ammonia cooled track. It's a small walk up the hill into the track area and you can watch people on their runs. For the runs, you go with a random staff member, two of which were Olympians.

Hollering from actual mountains what an amazing experience Whistler Sliding Centre was!! All proceeds go back to the kids that are crazy enough to pursue this as a sport. ❤️❄️ Thank you for such an awesome night filled with WOWs and laughter!!! 🤘🏼

Absolutely loved our bobsled experience! Staff was super friendly and helpful. You start by being driven to the top of the track and walking down the first part of the track. Really interesting learning about how it all works. We even had a bear walk right past the track while we were on it! As a family of 4, we all fit into one sled with the instructor at the back. The ride was awesome. Super fast but felt safe and controlled. A fantastic experience. Go pro footage available for 29 dollars. Would definitely highly recommend, but next time I would book as two two's rather than a four. You can't really see much of the track as you go down if you're not at the front.
Chloe W — Google review
This was such a fun experience. Was fascinating and informative to walk the Olympic sliding track. You really get an understanding of what is involved in the three sliding sports and how fast they go. The actual ride (summer on wheels) is quick but you get the full feeling of what it is like to be on a bobsled. Highly recommend!
Mark L — Google review
While I generally don't care for rollercoasters and other adrenaline-junky activities, the summer bobsledding experience was something I just couldn't pass up during my time in Whistler. After it was all over, I was so glad I did it--what a rush! The staff at the Sliding Centre was great, keeping us calm and confident as we toured the track, donned our helmets, and pushed off from the start line. Our pilot, Peter, (a two-time Olympian and current coach) got us up to just under 90kph, clocking us in with the fastest time of the day. What a great opportunity to participate in such a unique sport! The videos, photos, and memories are things I'll cherish forever. Mike (London, ON)

Whistler Blackcomb is a renowned year-round resort offering a variety of activities such as skiing, snowboarding, biking, and more. It boasts over 8,000 acres and 200 trails across two mountains. Ski Magazine named it the best overall resort in North America in 2016. The charming Whistler Village provides world-class apres-ski cuisine and fine wines from the Okanagan Valley.
It had always been my dream to ski and snowboard whistler since I was a kid. These mountains did not disappoint. Amazing views on bluebird days, amazing snow on powder days. The runs are well kept and very fun. The lifts are well maintained and fast and the waits were never worse than 10 minutes in late January. The little town at the base has everything you would ever need and more. The restaurants and pubs are fantastic. The atmosphere is fun and exciting. I’d love to come back some day.
Liam M — Google review
Gorgeous scenery. The drive up from Vancouver is worth the trip alone. Massive amounts of terrain. Great snow at the top of the mountain. Awful visibility mid mountain. Slushy at the bottom of the mountain. Village is really great. Went in March. I would definitely go again.
Josh C — Google review
I went during the summer and it was amazing. The scenery is breathtaking with so many hiking and biking trails to explore. Even without the snow the mountains are stunning and the village has a lot of shops, restaurants, and spots to just relax. Staff are friendly and the whole place is well maintained. Definitely a year round destination and one of the best resorts you can visit.
Val T — Google review
I had the chance to visit Blackcomb Whistler Ski last year, and it was truly one of the best experiences I’ve had on the slopes. The scenery is breathtaking, the facilities are excellent, and everything feels very well organized. That said, as a beginner, I found the runs a bit challenging. Even the green slopes felt more like blue ones compared to other ski resorts I’ve been to. Still, it was a great learning experience, and I’d definitely recommend it for those who are looking for both adventure and stunning mountain views. With a bit more practice, I’d love to go back and enjoy it even more!
Ugyen W — Google review
This place is a Dream destination for skiing! The snow quality is fantastic, white & powdery ,the slopes are well-groomed, and the scenery is absolutely stunning. Our full day here was worth spending. The management was also very good.
Simran K — Google review
The Peak 2 Peak Gondola is an amazing experience; It starts at Whistler Mountain, takes you to Blackcomb Mountain, and from there you can take another gondola to a different peak before heading back down. The gondola between the peaks is huge, and the blue cabins have glass floors so you can see the valley below. At the top, there are restaurants and cafes, and you might spot Groundhogs. Even in summer, there’s snow and it’s cold, so be sure to bring warm clothes.
Amin A — Google review
Whistler Blackcomb is awesome. I love the fact you can ski during the winter and then buy a very affordable Epic pass to Access the trekking trails and gondola during the summer. Also the Sunday farmers markets are great! Visit "Cows" for the best mint chocolate chip ice cream ever (they have other flavours too if you don't fancy mint) and Portobello at the Fairmont for real belgian chocolate mochas & hot chocolates ! Whistler is dreamy indeed.
Jaipreet C — Google review
Whistler is an incredible place for both snowboarding and biking. I’ve visited in different seasons, and I’m always impressed by the staff, the facilities, and how well everything is maintained. There are lots of trails across both mountains, making it great for all levels—from beginners to pros. Safety is clearly a priority, with support staff always around. While the sports can be pricey, Whistler often has great deals and seasonal passes. I just wish there were more flexible options for frequent visitors. I love this place and will definitely keep coming back.

Train Wreck is a popular local favorite hike near Whistler Village, starting at Cheakamus Crossing. The trail follows the scenic Cheakamus River and leads to abandoned train cars transformed into an art installation. It's a relatively easy hike suitable for families and beginners, with the option to connect to a larger network of trails for those seeking more challenge. The site offers great photo opportunities of the graffiti-covered train wreckage, making it a must-see attraction in the Whistler area.
Awesome short hike to see something really unique! I thought I wasn't going to be impressed doing this hile because I already saw so many pictures, but it was totally worth it and a ton of fun to explore! If you are capable, take the trail called Trash in, which goes along the river and it a lot more exciting.
Jenny C — Google review
This trail walk won’t disappoint! Yes, there are elevations, but the distance is manageable, and there are spots to pause along the route. I found the scenery to be breathtaking, and a bit magical as you approached the rapids and could hear the water gurgling in the distance. I walked the suspension bridge! (Which I considered a success for someone who is not fond of heights.) But the span was short. The scenery was pretty, the environment soothing, and though I walked alone, there were many people entering or leaving the area, if I had required help (being of a certain vintage.) I will say it was a little daunting to see the bear warning sign at the entry, but I pushed through and I’m glad I did. The trail floor is hard packed, but has many twists and turns and you share the route with mountain bikers - so be aware. I did notice one young family with a child. They were determinedly pulling a camping wagon, and I was not certain I would’ve attempted that! Have a look at the photos and enjoy. This is a nice spot for a bright day hike as it can be very shady and shadowed through parts of the trail. The “Train Wreck” story itself is part of the experience, so do read the posted sign!
Kathleen T — Google review
Good comfortable walk to the suspension bridge. The train wreck, located on the other side, has a very poignant feel about it. Train cars strewn about a large area, all covered in bright graffiti. Information boards tell the story. After crossing back across the bridge take the trail to the left and walk along the river back to the parking for awesome river views.
Elaine K — Google review
Pretty easy hike (not completely flat but still easy enough with a decent stroller), and it's relatively scenic in terms of the greenery, the suspension bridge, and the river. There are a couple of parking lots near the start of the trail and it's only ~10 minutes drive from Whistler. Definitely worth checking out!
F W — Google review
A Unique Blend of Urban Art and Natural Beauty! The Train Wreck Trail in Whistler is one of those special places where industrial history and vibrant creativity collide in the middle of the forest. It’s a must-visit for anyone who loves street art, photography, or just exploring something totally unique. The trail itself is an easy, pleasant walk, and the reward at the end is absolutely worth it: a collection of old train cars covered from top to bottom in ever-changing, colorful graffiti. Every surface tells a story, and it’s a photographer’s dream. The addition of the suspension bridge along the way adds a fun, slightly thrilling element to the adventure with a beautiful view of the river below. A quick but important note for fellow hikers: we saw signs warning about bears in the area, especially during berry season. It’s crucial to be bear aware—make noise as you walk, carry bear spray, and know what to do if you have an encounter (stay calm, don't run!). It’s their home, and we’re just visiting. This is a fantastic, free activity that’s different from your typical mountain hike. Highly recommend for a fun and memorable few hours!

A really fun spot near Whistler where you can hike a short trail, cross a suspension bridge, and explore old abandoned trains. The path is gravel with a few ups and downs, so good shoes are recommended. You’ll find several train cars in different positions. Overall, it’s a unique and fun adventure worth checking out if you’re in the area.

I have always loved this place. Went in the winter and this summer 2025. It’s such a nice walk, and you get to experience crossing a suspension bridge. Hidden and nestled in the backside of Whistler but it’s a must see for everyone. I brought my dog with me this summer. Oh and it’s FREE

Heard a lot about this trail before coming to the Squamish area, and it definitely lives up to the hype! It’s an easy and worthwhile stop right off the highway, offering a cool mix of forest, roaring white water, and a graffiti-covered train wreck — a striking contrast between nature and human art. Take the “Trash In” route if you want a bit more challenge and fun on your way to the wreck. The suspension bridge was my favorite part — scenic, peaceful, and a great spot for photos. Once you reach the site, it’s fascinating to explore the old train cars and see the original wood and metal details up close. One downside: in some areas near the wreck, the smell of fresh spray paint can be quite strong — at one point it was so overbearing and nauseating that I had to step away, feeling a bit lightheaded. Despite that, it’s still a unique, creative, and memorable short hike that captures the wild and artistic spirit of Squamish.

Vallea Lumina offers an enchanting evening adventure in the old forest of Cougar Mountain, just a 20-minute drive from Whistler. This magical night walk uses video, lighting, sound, and special effects to bring the natural landscape to life as visitors search for a hidden valley along a brightly lit pathway. The experience is suitable for all ages and changes with the seasons, making it a great activity for families.
Wow! A very cool experience! I won't tell you what you will be doing because I don't want to ruin the experience. However, be prepared for a bit of a hike. Wear comfortable footwear (I do suggest hiking shoes) bring a raincoat or slicker (just in case it's raining) No umbrellas allowed as it could ruin the overall experience. Go and check it out.
Shawn D — Google review
The Vallea Lumina was awesome! Such a unique experience that you simply cannot miss! It is a little dark but all the lights instantly make up for it. That being said, if you are deathly afraid of the dark, maybe some of their day time activities is a better fit for you. On top of that it is a moderate hiking trail with a few ups and downs. Don’t worry you won’t get lost but if those aren’t a problem for you I highly recommend this magical experience!!
Zareen N — Google review
Easy to get to and absolutely magical! The light show felt like a dream, and don’t forget to look up — the sky is full of stars 🌟 Some areas can get very dark, so be careful while walking. The experience isn’t rushed, which makes it even more enjoyable. The staff are incredibly nice and friendly. Bryson even took cute photos of us at the end. Worth the trip — a must go!

An interesting experience. If you aren’t sure footed - this walk in the dark with the lights along the way may not be your thing. The sparkling lights at the creek close to the end were the highlight of course.

What a great experience! It was more than what we had expected! You get engaged into this mystical adventure the minute you get on the trails. The storyline about missing hikers, the lights and the trees are magical. The team of rangers were amazing making it such a fun night for our group. We highly recommend Vallea Lumina to anyone visiting Whistler.
Jacques G — Google review
Sooooooo worth. Go on a clear night and you’ll be able to see the brightest stars. The stars are barely visible from Whistler village. We took our time walking around (wait ~15 for the crowd to pass) and were able to walk by ourselves for a significant portion of the trail. Arrived at 9:45pm and left on the second to last shuttle at 11:30ish, but most people will only take one hour.
Anita L — Google review
I’ve seen this is in the winter before but the Fall course offered an awesome new adventure trail with a few inclines, a view of the stars, a beautiful story and stunning lighting effects. The haunted trail was also a creative touch! Highly recommend doing both!
Tanya B — Google review
Such a spectacular experience. We will opt for this than Disneyland 10 out of 10 times simply because: 1. The day pass give you try so many things and you can easily spend a day here. 2. No stress of lining up, using the app, fast pass and etc for premium price by items 3. It perfectly blended nature into the story telling and feels like magical 4. Staff are all super friendly, international and knowledgeable. Our guide name is Nat and our instructor for the AOC is Charlie! Both are simply lovely

The Whistler Mountain Bike Park is a haven for mountain biking enthusiasts, featuring over 70 thrilling gravity-fueled downhill trails suitable for all skill levels. From gentle green trails to advanced technical descents and long-distance routes, there's something for everyone. Additionally, the park offers cross-country single-track trails that wind through picturesque landscapes like lakeshores and temperate rainforests.
By far the BEST mountain bike park. Everything about the bike park is great. The food, it can use improvement. I mean there really isn’t a grab and go there. Sometimes you want a sandwich but The closest thing is the grocery store but it’s a ways from the lifts.

This year was my second time visiting with my teenage son. The bike park is absolutely exhilarating. While there are green runs it's my opinion this is not for beginners. The park is designed for mountain bikers with developed skills.

The park is really well built with something for most riders! Great mixture of jump trails and technical trails. There are some really cool trails that incorporate some wooden bridges! The line-ups not so great, expect long waits most weekends!

For mountainbikes the facilities at Whistler are an outstanding place to be and should be high on the to-do list. For travellers who haven't brought their bike there are a good range of shops hiring bikes to suit all riders. I recommend booking in advance. Expect to pay around $140-180 depending on that type of bike. The downhill sections are outstanding in the bike park and cater to all levels of skill. If you're a mountain biker then a visit should be a priority.

Experience the most Canadian of pastimes at Forged Axe Throwing in Function Junction. Whether you're a first-timer or a seasoned pro, their action-packed sessions include safety talks, step-by-step instruction, practice runs, and friendly competition. With no special gear required, just bring your closed-toed shoes and get ready to unleash your inner lumberjack for a reasonable price per person.
Due to my injury, I couldn't really participate. This viewpoint is entirely on the sideline. My party seems to enjoy all their experiences here. Some are first timer and some have been to other axe throwing establishment before. The host were fun and energetic. It was definitely harder than they made it look, but of course, they were pro! I like that they slowly introduce you to different type of throwing and keep adding onto the challenges. Kept it fun and entertaining. Drinks are available for purchases but I don't think they have any snacks. I brought my own popcorn and just enjoyed chatting and cheering my party on. It was a great experience. The space are quite welcoming and warm. Very esthetically pleasing.

We had such an incredible time at Forged Axe Throwing in Whistler! None of us had ever tried axe throwing before, but our instructor, Brandon, made the experience so much fun while also teaching us proper technique. He was patient, encouraging, and kept the energy high, which made the whole session both educational and exciting. Even though my mom and I weren’t naturals, we still managed to land some solid shots and score points; which felt amazing! Meanwhile, my fiancé and dad were having a blast trying out the double axe throws, trick shots, and even the fireman axe. Brandon kept things entertaining for all of us, no matter our skill level. The atmosphere at Forged Axe Throwing is so welcoming and chill. You can tell that Brett has built a really awesome business that makes everyone feel comfortable and excited to be there. And of course, we can’t forget Bendito the dog, who completely stole the show; such a sweet pup and the perfect bonus to an already awesome outing. We came up from Portland, Oregon, and all agreed we’d happily make a weekend trip just to come back here again. If you’re visiting Whistler, I’d 100% recommend stopping by Forged Axe Throwing. We’ll definitely be back!

We finally found our purpose. As soon as we picked up those axes, life finally made sense. Brandon and River were incredible (congrats on your first day River!) they guided us through a forest of understanding teaching us the ways of axe throwing. They were so welcoming, enthusiastic, encouraging and highly knowledgeable in their field. 100/10 recommend. The sport just gained two new members. - Eleanor + Middy

Oh my word. Forged Axe Throwing hit the mark! I had an absolutely amazing axeventure! I just had the most axe-ceptional time! We let the axes FLY - no chill, just thrills. A fantastic experience all around. I was shocked at how much fun I had here. First of all I can’t believe I was able to hit the axes on the board and make them stick, (as so many people underestimated my abilities going into this!) let alone so close to the bullseye! I even got the hat trick with the axe upside down on the bullseye and the hat landed on the handle of the axe! 😲 Because of that, I MADE IT TO THE WALL OF FAME! 👏 If you want to lash out some energy but throw axes these guys have it going! Axe throwing unlocks a whole new level of power and sass! In the beginning there was no aim, no technique, just pure chaos! I definitely got better after more attempts. You don't know the strength you have until you try this place out! A huge shoutout to Maddie! She didn’t just teach us to throw axes - she taught us to own it! If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to tap into that raw strength and power, go throw an axe! Trust me, it’s that good! It was non-stop, high energy, and honestly? Such a good workout too! Don't be intimidated, if I can throw an axe so can you! All in all a time was had! I was able to channel my inner lumberjack! Axe throwing is so thrilling, competitive and seriously addictive! It was a whole vibe! 10/10 for fun, adrenaline & letting loose! I was able to release my inner warrior! This isn’t just an activity it’s pure adrenaline! It’s an epic time of fun, friendly competition, and adrenaline-pumping action! It’s super lively, competitive and all-around a good time! It’s the best way to unleash some fun and friendly competition! If you are looking for something different (and a little bit savage) to do in Whistler, this is IT! We had an AXE-mazing time! The venue is well-designed, with a modern and exciting atmosphere that immediately gets you in the mood for some axe throwing fun. Maddie truly made our day. She showed the highest form of hospitality! Her energy, clear instructions, and encouraging attitude helped even the beginners like me feel like pros! Her guidance definitely took our game to the next level! Whether it was our first throw or our final game, Maddie was there with great vibes and positive energy, making the entire experience unforgettable. It was therapeutic in a way; great way to get some energy out and have some laughs. Whatever your expectations are your experience will be amplified for the better by the staff (Maddie!!) I definitely would recommend trying axe throwing at least once in your life! Would recommend Forged Axe Throwing to anyone in a heartbeat. Everything from the instruction to the environment & vibe far exceeded our expectations. I left the axe throwing with a sense of empowerment because so many people underestimated my abilities to axe throw but I got to prove them all wrong & that was very satisfying! ;)

We went here as part of a bachelor party weekend and it was fantastic! There was a group of 10 of us that fit very well in a 4 lane area and had it to ourselves with the bar area apart of it. The service was excellent and very fun. The 8 person shot ski was also a big hit. We loved all the games that our host put on for us. I highly recommend this place.

Such an awesome and fun experience! My girlfriend and I had the best time at Forged Axe Throwing. Erin and Brandon were incredible hosts, super friendly, patient, and genuinely made us feel welcome from the start. The place has a really cool layout and great music, which made the whole vibe even better. We had tons of laughs and left with some new skills (sort of!). Highly recommend this for couples or groups, it’s one of the most fun activities in Whistler. Can’t wait to come back!

Very fun experience! The host walks you through many fun games, trick shots and the opportunity to try and make it into the hall of fame. There is a designated play area for kids, variety of drinks and plenty of space for our group of ten. Safety was paramount and made the experience fun for all. Thank you to the Forged Team for making our time together special.

Whistler Olympic Park, a legacy of the 2010 Winter Olympics, offers a variety of activities for visitors. The park features a network of hiking trails and summits in the picturesque Callaghan Valley. In addition to cross-country skiing experiences during winter, there are also summer bobsleigh lessons available at the Sliding Centre. For those seeking an extra challenge, the Olympic Shooting Range offers biathlon and target shooting.
We wanted to try out the snowshoeing at the Olympic Park and were not disappointed. For $12 we had access to well maintained trails and glorious views. For our first visit we chose the "walk with Giants" trail which is a moderately hard snowshoe through the forest of Doug Firs, Cedars and Hemlock. We emerged behind the Olympic ski-jump, to stunning views across the valley. We pretty much had the trail to ourselves, even though it was a Saturday in peak season. Ski patrol checked up on us and the staff at the lodge and the main gate were friendly and helpful. What a great day!

We were there on Thursday the 11th around 8:30 pm. It was closed, but a very kind lady still served us in a very pleasant and correct manner, helping us manage our needs even outside of business hours. Without her help, we probably wouldn't have been able to stay there. I will definitely return

Came here for snowshoeing in winter and tent camping in summer. Snowshoeing: definitely will come back as the views and trails were great. You share a bit of the path with the cross country skiers which are typical for snowshoeing. Tent camping: Only return if the other nearby campgrounds are not available. Lack of shades and the sites have no privacy at all. Nice lodge, showers and amenities. A couple hiking trails nearby and you can hike up to ski jump. When we were here in summer 2024, it seemed quiet hours were respected and enforced.

This is the site of the 2010 Nordic Olympic events. In the summer there is lots to do including hiking, biking, site seeing, biathlon (shooting), disc golf, pickleball, camping. It is a great place for kids and includes a unique climbing structure (playground). The day lodge has foosball, ping pong, board games, and comfy places to sit. A cafe is open all day with a wide variety of food and drinks. Gift store, too. Bring your bug spray and bug nets.
Erika Q — Google review
Regarding the multi-use campground: The place is awesome. The views, the bathrooms, the showers, the washroom, they're all top-of-the-line. The major problems are: the extremely small campsites, coupled with the people who have no regard for their neighbors. By 0600, our neighbor's alarm had gone off four times (I had to notify them their alarm was going off twice, after their alarm had gone off for more than five minutes), another neighbor (two or three spots down) had a very bad cough and we could clearly hear her up late, and early. Another's kid came into our camp after we went to bed and tripped over our tent stakes, I could very clearly hear people snoring. And lastly, our immediate neighbor's kid woke up early and could only speak at one volume (loud), despite repeated efforts from their father to get them to quiet down. Correction: The neighbor's alarm just went off for a fifth time - and the snorer is still going. I recommend going somewhere where people aren't camping on top of each other, you can get a good night's sleep, and you can actually enjoy nature.

Snowshoeing at Whistler Olympic Park is an unforgettable winter experience. The trails are beautifully maintained, winding through a serene landscape of towering evergreens and fresh, powdery snow. It’s peaceful, with just the crunch of your steps breaking the stillness, making you feel like you’re in your own winter wonderland. The highlight of the trek is Alexander Falls, and it’s nothing short of breathtaking. This towering, frozen cascade glistens under its snowy blanket, an absolute showstopper that feels like nature’s version of a grand finale. Standing there, surrounded by untouched wilderness, it’s impossible not to feel a sense of awe. Whether you’re new to snowshoeing or a seasoned pro, this park delivers a magical escape into nature. It’s not just a trek—it’s an experience that leaves you exhilarated, refreshed, and a little more connected to the winter world around you. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable adventure in Whistler.

The Whistler Museum is a must-visit destination for history enthusiasts. Located near Whistler Village, it offers a fascinating collection of local artifacts, media, and documents that showcase the town's dramatic evolution and natural landscape in interactive displays. The museum features quirky exhibits including an original 1965 ski-lift gondola and a 2010 Olympic torch, highlighting the creation of the renowned skiing destination and its role in hosting the 2010 Winter Olympic Games.
The Whistler Museum is located next to the Whistler Library and is a great place to visit to learn about Whistler’s history as well as the 2010 Winter Olympics held there. You can touch a bear hide, look more closely at pinecones, and learn about what Whistler was like in the past. Accessible entrance ramp to enter. There is a small gift shop at the entrance. Suggested donation is $5.

I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff, Olympic representation, amazing people (particularly the women who were highlighted), snow sports in general and Natural History shared within such a small space. They have something for everyone. From an old gondola, passes through the years, a fridge full of retro stickers, funny outrageous photos, and colorful adventurous characters defying cultural norms (loved the stories of women!). This museum's history is mostly within a short period of time. (I'm sure this was taken seriously in how it was shared but) it was surprising how little First Nations People were mentioned. Definitely go to the Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre as well. I recall this being the library when I used to live here in 2004-2005. 😆 Great use of space!

Such a fun little spot! Way more to see than I expected. Got to touch real beaver and black bear fur (so soft!), and the wolf, bird, and marmot displays were super cool. Just one small thing—the wolf is gorgeous, but it’s facing the corner instead of the walkway. Would’ve loved to see its face properly! Most of the exhibits are hands-on—rocks, animal bones, even a gondola you can hop into. For a small museum, there’s a surprising amount to explore. Staff were lovely, displays were fun, and it’s the perfect quick stop in Whistler. Left with a big smile!
Amy W — Google review
The museum was small, and smelled musky, but was pack with information regarding native species, first settlers and 2010 Winter Olympics. I spent 10 minutes in there.

Lovely little museum. It’s small and tucked around the corner by the library. It’s really not huge so you can walk around it fairly quickly but entry is by way of donation (they suggest $5). We had no problem paying that. Gives a nice history of Whistler, from its early days, through to the Winter Olympics being held there in 2010.

Such a neat little museum by donation. It tells the history of Whistler, has interactive exhibits, and you can hold a 2010 Olympic torch while wearing a medal. That was cool. There are taxidermy birds and a wolf, and an old gondola/ski lift chair you can sit in too.

Brandywine Falls Provincial Park is a stunning natural attraction located about 20 minutes south of Whistler. The park features a magnificent 70-meter waterfall cascading over a wall of volcanic rocks, offering visitors breathtaking views from observation decks. Legend has it that the falls were named after a bet between railway surveyors who celebrated with a bottle of brandy upon measuring its height.
Brandywine Falls Provincial Park is a stunning natural gem located just off the Sea-to-Sky Highway near Whistler. The highlight is the breathtaking 70-meter waterfall, surrounded by lush forests and rugged cliffs. The park offers well-maintained trails that lead to several lookout points, providing spectacular views of the falls and the surrounding mountains. It's a perfect spot for a peaceful hike, photography, and enjoying nature. The park also features picnic areas and ample parking. Whether you're visiting for a short stop or a longer hike, Brandywine Falls is a must-see for anyone exploring the Whistler area.
Tanmoy S — Google review
The views at Brandywine Falls are just stunning. Easy parking at the start of the walk to the falls is followed by a beautiful walk though the forest on an easy path, across a train line to that viewing point for the falls. Just beyond this spot there is a stunning viewpoint stretching out across the valley. Highly recommend stopping by.
Dr S — Google review
Amazing place to go but get there early because the parking lot gets packed really quickly. If you're into hiking, try the sea to sky trail. If you want to do the major loop that takes you along the trail all the way to the suspension bridge and then up the gravel road to the bungee jump bridge you're looking at about a 4-Hour to 5-hour hike. If you don't want to be traveling that far then just go to the bungee jump via the wide well-kept trail that is marked at Brandywine just after the railroad tracks. It's 2.7 km and very well maintained almost like a gravel road. Lots of great stuff for you to see and at one of one of the areas. The rock formations are pretty cool. The first time I saw it I thought somebody had laid down some paving stones. Those are some beautiful lakes to sit down and have a lunch.
Bob G — Google review
The waterfall was cool. The area around it showed so much erosion and I was told it gets three times the size of the photos. The surrounding cliff was very beautiful as well. You could see the layers very clearly.

## Brandywine Falls Provincial Park: A Quick Escape with Cascading Beauty Brandywine Falls Provincial Park, located just outside Whistler, offers a beautiful natural wonder easily accessible for travelers along the Sea to Sky Highway. Here's a quick rundown of what to expect: **Majestic Waterfall:** The park's star attraction is the namesake Brandywine Falls, a cascading waterfall tumbling over 230 feet. A short, well-maintained trail leads from the parking lot to a viewing platform offering stunning views of the falls. **Perfect for a Short Stop:** This park is ideal for those seeking a quick break from the car journey. The entire walk to the viewing platform and back takes less than 20 minutes, making it a manageable stop for families or travelers with limited time. **Limited Amenities:** There are no restrooms, shops, or concession stands within the park. Be sure to use facilities and grab any snacks or drinks you might need before arriving. **Easy Accessibility:** Brandywine Falls Provincial Park is very easy to find and access. There's a well-marked parking lot right off the highway, and the trail to the falls is short and paved, suitable for all ages and fitness levels. **Keep in mind:** There have been reports of the parking lot being closed occasionally. It's a good idea to have a backup plan in case you encounter a closure. **Overall:** Brandywine Falls Provincial Park is a great choice for a quick and scenic stop along the Sea to Sky Highway. The impressive waterfall and easy accessibility make it a worthwhile detour for anyone wanting to experience a piece of beautiful British Columbia wilderness. Just be prepared for the lack of amenities and the possibility of a closed parking lot.

Nice little detour on our way to whistler. A short walk along a well kept track to a good view of the falls . The path continues a while longer with more views of the falls and a beautiful view across the valley. We managed to spot a majestic eagle soaring below us in the valley which really made it special.
Dave ( — Google review
On a whim, my wife and I decided to go see the Brandywine waterfalls on a Sunday morning and we embarked on a scenic road trip from Vancouver. The parking area near the trailhead is convenient, and there are a decent number of restrooms next to the parking lot. The trail path is well-maintained and is a very easy walk of 10 minutes, making it accessible for most hikers. The trail is dog-friendly, and we encountered several furry friends along the way, which added to the charm of the experience. But oh, the falls! Standing at 70 meters tall, Brandywine Falls is a spectacle to behold. The sheer force of the water cascading down into the gorge creates a mesmerizing sight and an incredible photo opportunity. Despite its popularity, the area never felt too crowded, allowing us to soak in the beauty of nature without feeling overwhelmed by crowds. If you're a nature enthusiast or just looking for a refreshing day trip from Vancouver, Brandywine Falls should be on your list for its ease of access and stunning natural beauty.

Truly worth trying out at least once! Did the Eagle Tour with my 14yo daughter. Had a blast. I think all of the families in our group had a great time. I was glad to have booked this one instead of the Sasquatch Tour because the five lines on this tour were a great introduction to zip-lining. Having five lines also made it possible to try different things out as the tour progressed. Staff were pretty good, though you did get the feeling that some of them were perhaps a little hung over, as we did the tour on a Saturday.

We did the Eagle Tour for our 20th Anniversary. The guides were excellent at putting my fears aside. If you’re nervous, plan to go first. It just takes 2 seconds of courage to get started. Enjoy the beautiful mountains, trees and rivers. I felt completely secure and safe in the harness and the breaking system was quite smooth. It is worth the experience and if I ever go back to Whistler, I will be doing the Sasquatch!!! I am not adventurous but this was a highlight of our vacation. I also recommend renting or bringing a Go-pro. We have some stunning footage and great memories.

An unforgettable adventure! Absolutely amazing experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and uplifting, bringing so much positive energy throughout the tour. I especially appreciated the forest and environmental explanations — it made the adventure both fun and meaningful. Ziplining through the mountains with such a passionate team was truly unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Great experience doing the Eagle Tour. 5 zip lines total with the first being 800m. Beautiful scenic views along the walking trails and obviously on the zip line. It’s an adrenaline rush, but I’d say is approachable for most people. There were a few in our group that were nervous and by the end they were bombing along!
Pete M — Google review
My boyfriend booked the Tree Trek Tour as I wasn’t sure about zip lining just yet. Our guide, Mason was absolutely amazing and gave us all the pros about the different zip lines and how they all work. She was the best part of the tour for sure. We left the trek with so much new knowledge of the area and a need to try the zip lines 😊
Breanna C — Google review
The Eagle zip line tour with Nada and Jacob was a ton of fun and educational too. We learnt about the forest we were zip lining through along with other flora, fauna and the native people that inhabit the area. Highly recommend hiring a go-pro for the trip. Great quality video and photos and the money you spend goes to charities in the region. These Aussie fellas will hopefully be back soon!

Amazing adrenaline fun! Professional fun staff that focus on safety. The trek in the forest (eagle tour) is informative and beautiful, and the Sasquatch tour is a thrill in the rain, clouds, or sunshine (been on it multiple times). Do this when you visit Whistler!

Such an incredible day on the Eagle Tour - Izzy and Seb made it an unreal experience. Felt so safe (and also exhilarated), and tried different tricks like trust falls and Spider-Mans! The weather was a bit drizzly, but it made for a really moody mountain setting and we loved it. Also really loved the acknowledgment of country and facts about the flora and fauna of the area. My mum was isn’t super great at long steep hikes, but this was super doable and Izzy and Seb were really patient. For anyone unsure on the walk/terrain/stairs on the eagle tour: the most we did was 4.5 flights of stairs, but really able to take your time and use the hand railings. Thanks Izzy and Seb - such an awesome day on the mountain!! 🌲💚

Bungee jumping center
Whistler Bungee Bridge offers an exhilarating bungee jumping experience in a stunning natural setting. Nestled amidst Basalt Column Cliffs and Old Growth Forest, with the majestic Black Tusk peak as a backdrop, it is considered one of the most scenic bungee jumping sites globally. The thrill of freefalling towards the picturesque rivers and forests before being safely caught by the bungee creates an unforgettable moment of weightlessness.
The staff were so friendly and made me feel safe and looked after. They were also patient when I needed a moment to gather myself before my jump! I booked the first jump of the day, which was great and quiet, and we took a little walk by the path afterward with our dog. What a fantastic overall experience!!
Alicia B — Google review
What an experience!! Initial 2 second of the jump was intense but it gets better after. It is expensive for a 15s jump plus the additional amount for the pictures but at the end I guess it’s all worth it. They usually prefer to get the tickets online as sometimes they are fully booked and do not accept walk-ins. No difference in the price though. Flat $160 for the jump + 35 for the pictures. This place has mesmerizing view and amazing trails for hike.
Kshiti V — Google review
If you want to try bungee jumping this is the place. The views of the canyon are incredible, the staff is super friendly and professional and you will definitely feel safe and looked after. The jump is just so thrilling, I’d do it again. Also I was able to book it there and then.

I had a lovely time doing the Whistler bungee today! The staff were super duper friendly and helpful, especially the lovely guy from Luton and the lady behind the counter that shows the photos! After my jump I watched lots of other people jump, and could see that the staff were totally encouraging and supportive of those that were scared! Personally I felt 100% safe. It was really fun. The guys who work there even gave me a lift back to Whistler at the end, saving me $40! And gave me a top restaurant recommendation for ‘Balam’ in Whistler Village, where I’m currently sat feeling very full writing this review! 10/10. Thanks guys 🤩 🙏

Such an amazing experience, the staff are great and the location is gorgeous. We walked to Brandywine Falls after our jump (around 1 hour 10 min round trip) which was a great way to cool down afterwards. This was my third time jumping and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a thrill or to challenge themselves!
Jesse P — Google review
Huge thanks to everyone at Whistler Bungee for 3 amazing, if scary, jumps. The level of professionalism, coupled with the friendliness of the staff was above and beyond. My attempt at a back flip was woeful though, even with Connor’s helpful pointers! Shout out to Emily for the photos. 😂
Ian M — Google review
Very fun to do with a bunch of friends! Absolutely loved it. The best area to take a video is a little scramble down to a clearing where you park the car so bring a photographer as it will be hard logistically to take videos and run back up for your own jump. Price is honestly quite steep already and photos were additional charge. If they had videos, I would have paid for it, but I feel like photos is such an old business model and not really worth it.

Major rush and beautiful scenery, which you can enjoy after the nerves have calmed down. The drive in is really rough so add an extra 10min to what Google tells you it will take.

Whistler Olympic Plaza is a vibrant hub of activity in Whistler, offering something for everyone. The plaza features an inclusive playground with structures designed to resemble a coastal forest, providing endless entertainment for kids. During the winter, visitors can enjoy skating on the exclusive rink surrounded by twinkling lights. The plaza also hosts free outdoor concerts and performances in the summer, making it a lively destination year-round.
If you want to avoid the crowds, there are plenty of seats where you can sit and relax with a cup of coffee, and I brought my cat out to sunbathe in the fresh air. There are excellent views of the mountains.

Make sure to buy a gondola from Heesler and go up. It's worth going up without skiing, and it's really beautiful and magnificent. It was in mid-April when we went, but the snow was piled up overhead. It was crazy beautiful and reminded me of Interlaken in Switzerland. I strongly recommend you to visit one.

The Whistler Olympic Plaza is gorgeous, no matter which season you're visiting Whistler. We visited on January 1st and were delighted with the space. There's a large snowy area for kids to play, and a lovely complimentary outdoor ice rink. I miss the outdoor firepits, but I can imagine they weren't great for the environment. Fantastic outdoor water and public bathroom facilities.

A nice place to sit and have coffee while the kids enjoy the excellent playground. Lots of food options and two different coffee shops too. There are often events or concerts but other times, especially in the morning it is very quiet. There are excellent views of the mountains. Wow!

Just like our traditional after we moved to BC. We came to visit this place on family day weekend every year for skate and the kids had so much fun because they loved snow. A lot of restaurants and shops for you to visit so convenient for washrooms and parking spot everywhere around. The playground where my daughters never wanted to leave. So see you again next year

Lost Lake Park, located just a short distance from Whistler Village, offers a serene escape amidst the bustling resort. During warmer months, visitors can enjoy the clear waters and sandy beach for swimming, kayaking, and picnicking. The surrounding trails provide peaceful walks through old-growth forests. In winter, the park becomes a Nordic skiing paradise with groomed trails winding through snow-covered landscapes.
Spent a great afternoon swimming and chilling on the beach area. There is an easy hiking trail around the lake and a free shuttle from whistler village. We grabbed a freshly baked pizza from the on-site food wagon and a refreshing ice pop from an entrepreneurial youngster! There are washrooms, changing rooms picnic benches and a doggy friendly beach area. Well worth visiting and it’s free!
Dave ( — Google review
Beautiful place for summer or winter walk. Needed spikes since snow/slush cover before winter snow. Nordic center not open yet so no trail fees. Wonderful rippling creeks, bridges and trails around the lakes. Amazing views of the mountains. Bathrooms were open but not the warming hut at Lost Lake. Picnic tables and benches to rest and soak in the view.
Tricia D — Google review
An easy, accessible and picturesque walk. We started in Whistler village and made our way through the Valley trail to Lost Lake PassivHaus. The early May weather was cool and clear. An easy path winds up a slight incline to reach the Lost Lake Loop. There are several alternative tracks that parallel the main one and offer a better woodlands experience. The loop itself has wonderful views of the surrounding snowcapped mountains reflecting on the cold, clear water. Take a picnic lunch to eat at one of the many clear spots dotted along the shoreline. There are swimming pontoons for those brave (crazy) enough to take a dip. After circuiting the lake clockwise, we returned to the village via the road on the other side of the creek. Took about 3 hours with a nice 20 minute break. Well worth the effort.
Michael M — Google review
NO PARKING - Definitely the biggest con. Closest parking is not inside the park, probably a 25min walk away. The park is pretty average, nothing notable. Small beach area with lots of tadpoles. Some nice flat trails with some shade if you want to go for a stroll. Good size for small kids. There’s also a few picnic tables. Crepe truck and a small souvenir shop too.
Amy W — Google review
Went before 10am got one of the limited parking spaces. It’s a simple beached lake. Water is icy cold with platforms to swim to. Shallow for a few meters for kids to play. Very clean feeling. Very wide and maintained path to walk around the lake about 20 minutes for the basic loop. Some branching paths at the far end.
Jon ( — Google review
This place is so serene, the water so clear, and the ambiance so vibrant. The hike to reach this place is very calm, even good for beginners. You can also bike there. There is a longer hike route around the lake as well. The picnic spot is very swamped with people doing different activities. The water is so crystal clear that you can even see small fishes swimming around. People were swimming, kayaking and doing BBQ. The view is just stunning!
Ahmed N — Google review
15 min walk from Whistler village and yet features large and stunning trails to explore! The Lost lake loop is an easy one to do though you can also go further towards Green Lake and do a longer walk. Went on a Saturday morning at 10 in August and it wasn't too busy so highly recommend!

Backroads Whistler Boat Rentals offers a variety of biking trails around Lost Lake, outside of Whistler Village. The trails are not very demanding and offer beautiful scenery with lush greenery, the lake, and towering mountains. Riders should be cautious during late July and early August due to toad migration on the trails. The River of Golden Dreams is a calm stream connecting Alta and Green lakes, perfect for kayaking or canoeing.
It was a sunny day. Perfect for the 2.5 hour canoe ride. It started at Lakeside, against the backdrop of snow capped mountains. Then the journey to the river begins where you have to navigate the bends . Spencer was very professional in guiding us throughout and made sure that we are safe and happy. It’s an adventure not to be missed.

Booking with them online was super easy. There's a couple of waivers to complete (online) and then we just showed up! We did the self guided, single kayak experience which I highly recommend. The river is gentle in some parts and a bit faster flowing after two rivers meet. We didn't think "expert level" skills are required but I think it depends on your fitness level and sense of capability to kayak or canoe (vs portage) some sections. We haven't done much kayaking but we are both fairly fit and capable so we didn't feel any hesitancy in continuing on the river. The customer service was great and pick up at the Sports Centre was easy. The scenery is beautiful and peaceful. Highly recommend this company and experience!!

We did the Wildlife at Twilight tour with Backroads Whistler on the River of Golden Dreams and loved it. Our guide, Charlotte, was fantastic—patient, friendly, and super supportive (even after I accidentally tapped her with my paddle—sorry again!). Starting out on the lake was a little challenging because of the wind and light current, but once we entered the river the paddling became smooth and relaxing. We spotted a couple of beavers, and the views at twilight were absolutely beautiful. Overall, a great experience from start to finish. Highly recommend this tour and Backroads Whistler!
Ali P — Google review
One of the highlights of our trip. The guided tour option was well worth the extra cost as the guides help you to navigate the trickier bends. The excursion allowed for varying ages and skill levels within our party of ten. Equipment was well maintained and staff ensured safety protocols in place. A serene location with breathtaking views of mountains and glacier waters. A remarkable adventure.

Six of us kayaked the River of Golden Dreams, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience – pure fun and adventure from start to finish. We paddled through stunning scenery, tackled mini rapids, and passed over dams. The river levels were low, so we had to do two portages, but that only added to the sense of adventure. The crew gave us excellent instructions before we set off, making the whole trip smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable outdoor experience!

Susanna, Ryder and Spencer were all really helpful and knowledgable. We went for a Canoe ride along the river in October. It was great to have the option to rent a canoe as our paddle boards would not have been suitable due to the beaver dams at this time of year. Thanks!

Here’s a polished version of your review for Whistler Backroad Boat Rental: ⸻ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I rented a canoe for myself and my 8-year-old daughter, and while the day brought some unexpected challenges, the staff made the whole experience safe, memorable, and enjoyable. From the start, everyone was friendly and welcoming. They even gave us a Whistler local discount (which we are), which she loved. The canoe was easy to set up with their help, and we were excited to head out on Alta Lake. Unfortunately, the wind and waves picked up, and we got stuck at the far end of the lake. I called reception, and they immediately sent a rescue boat. When the staff arrived, they were calm, professional, and incredibly reassuring—especially with my daughter. They made sure she felt safe and relaxed the entire time. Back at the dock, the reception team checked in on her and even gave her a freezie to help her calm down. That small but thoughtful gesture really made a difference. Overall, the service was outstanding—professional, kind, and above and beyond what I expected. I would 100% recommend Whistler Backroad Boat Rental to anyone looking for a fun, safe, and memorable experience.

It’s the perfect spot for a game of fetch or just letting them run freely. The surroundings are stunning, with diverse and vibrant plants that add to the park’s charm. We enjoyed our meals here on two consecutive days during our Whistler trip and loved every moment. Highly recommended for a relaxing and joyful time with your furry friends!

Gorgeous stop to visit year round. During the winter the lake is frozen and the snow is beautiful ❤️. During the summer the lake makes a great canoeing and fishing spot with lots of docks to stop at. Must see spot!

Rainbow Park in Whistler is a fantastic spot for a fun day out! The park offers plenty of docks where you can jump into the water, perfect for cooling off on a hot day. There are also great picnic spots, making it ideal for a relaxing afternoon with friends or family. The park has beach volleyball courts and even a designated area for dogs, where they can join in the fun and enjoy the water. One of the best features is the sandy beach, which adds to the overall experience. However, it does get quite busy on weekends and holidays, so plan accordingly if you’re looking for a quieter visit.

*Rainbow Park* is a true jewel of Whistler, offering an unbeatable combination of natural beauty, relaxation, and recreational activities. Situated on the shores of Alta Lake, this park boasts stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, including the iconic Rainbow Mountain. The scenery alone is enough to make it worth the visit, but there’s so much more to love about this spot. The park's sandy beach is perfect for lounging on a sunny day, and the crystal-clear waters of Alta Lake invite you to take a refreshing dip or enjoy a peaceful paddle. Whether you're into swimming, paddleboarding, or kayaking, the lake offers endless opportunities for water fun. The grassy areas are spacious and well-maintained, making it ideal for picnics, sunbathing, or a friendly game of frisbee. For those looking to explore, there are walking and biking trails that wind through the park and connect to the larger Whistler trail network. The park is family-friendly, with plenty of space for kids to run around, and it’s dog-friendly too, with a designated off-leash area. What really sets *Rainbow Park* apart is its tranquil atmosphere. Even on busy days, there’s a sense of peacefulness here that allows you to unwind and soak in the natural surroundings. Whether you’re visiting for a quick afternoon escape or spending the whole day, *Rainbow Park* is the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation, offering something for everyone. It’s a must-visit for anyone looking to experience Whistler's outdoor beauty at its finest!

Rainbow park provides you with the most beautiful and stunning views of lake Alta which is not far from whistler village. This is a great place to run away from the heat of summer and spend quality time with your family and pets. The water is very clean and you can spend nice time while swimming. Moreover, you could also do kayaking and rent boats there. A nice place and will surely visit it again.

We went in October 28, weather was great and road condition was good as well. All Gandola lines were closed for winter preparation. Rainbow park was saviour of the trip.

Came to Rainbow Park on a Friday at around 12:30. There is paid street parking in the area. This was my first experience swimming in a lake, and it was just okay. I guess I had a different image in my head. Some grass areas were wet/muddy due to sprinklers, and most of the good sitting areas were already taken. The water is cold and just doesn't look too clean - but maybe this is normal for lakes? I probably only stayed in the water for 5 minutes before I started wondering if I would catch something. If swimming in the lake is not for you, I think there is also a hiking trail nearby.

Indoor playground
Escape! Whistler is a popular indoor activity in Whistler, offering an immersive escape room experience for small groups of 2-6 guests. Participants work together to solve puzzles, riddles, and clues within 45 minutes to 'escape' from themed rooms such as The Pirate Ship, The Pinball Machine, The Buried Cabin, Yukon Gold, Underwater Lair and The Rabbit Hole.
I love escape rooms, and I've done many escape rooms in Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. This escape room in Whistler is the best I've ever been to! We did the Yukon Gold escape room. It was well decorated and had a variety of creative puzzles and contraptions that I've never seen in other escape rooms. The puzzles required teamwork and thinking outside the box. There was a little bit of climbing and crawling involved. This escape room was fun for both the experienced players and first-time players in our group. The staff were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our time at Escape Whistler and will definitely try another room next time we are in town.
Nicole P — Google review
We had a rainy day in Whistler so decided to do an Escape room. We chose the Pirate Room as it was the easiest and we had no experience. We are a family of four with a 10 and 13 year old. It was a lot of fun. Many of the puzzles required team work and everyone in the family were able to work together and contribute. Only challenge was with the dim lighting and our poor eye sight. Apparently flashlights are available if requested. We will be back to try another room
Cindy M — Google review
The Escape Room team was amazing! They helped me organize the activity for 36 people and it went very smoothly. Staff is very friendly and they try to accommodate everyone's needs. I am very happy with how everything went down. I highly recommend the Escape Room for corporate events or group activities, its worth it, everyone had a blast!
Mabel C — Google review
Did a couple of rooms - Underwater Lair and Pinball. Pinball was unique and enjoyable. Underwater Lair was great! Lots of good puzzles, amazing set and props, and lots of humor. Highly recommend that one. Two downsides: I have done many escape rooms in several countries and this was the most expensive that I have done. As well, they only give 45 minutes to complete the room. Both rooms had quite a number of puzzles, giving one hour would be much better. Especially considering the price. Given this, I would have given a lower star rating if we only did the pinball room, but the underwater lair was so good!
Passports H — Google review
A friend and I completed the Pinball escape room and had the best time ever! The room was so much fun and also challenging (in the best way). The level of detail and creativity in the room was so impressive. It made the whole experience so immersive and exciting. The staff were amazing and a big shout out to Brie for the enthusiastic introduction to the room. She really set the tone for an awesome experience. We were so close to finishing and the staff kindly gave us extra time so we were able to complete it! 10/10 experience and I can’t wait to try all the other rooms soon! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Chloe J — Google review
Fantastic experience and the best value for Whistler. Super helpful and friendly staff and the escape room we did was so detailed. The layout was unique and we were kept on our toes with the tasks to escape. Everyone in our group said the escape room was the best part of their trip to Whistler! (For clarity - we are local to the Vancouver area so have been to Whistler several times, not first time visitors :))
Laura W — Google review
We really enjoyed our first escape room with Escape! Whistler! We did the pirate ship. We loved the staff - they were super helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. And we loved the room set-up - really felt like we were on a pirate ship, without sea sickness. A 5-star experience. The only suggestion I have for the management is to consider the age of the group and have modifications for that. My group was all over 50, one in her 70s, and the room was too dark for those of us with older eyes, whereas younger folk likely don't struggle as much. If there was an option to turn up the lights a bit, while still keeping the ambience, it would help us!
Kim M — Google review
We had a fun but slightly frustrating time at Escape Whistler. The employees were friendly and helpful when it came to giving clues, which definitely kept things enjoyable. That said, some of the puzzles felt a bit too convoluted and circuitous, (especially for the 45 min.) instead of leading to those satisfying “aha!” moments, they often left us feeling more confused. Obviously this review is completely subjective based on my (our) own ability at doing an escape room, but I'll probably pass next time we're in Whistler. Edit to add: They did give us some extra time & explained the room after we failed to 'escape'

Fun experience despite the rain and the fog. Our instructors were great - all safety checks and demonstrations were clear. All gear (rain jacket, pants, boots, gloves.) available. The only thing to improve could be to wash the gear as they were super dirty 😅 Would definitely try this again when the sun's out for better views.

Absolutely amazing experience ! 10 mins buggy drive to get up the zip line, and then 4 amazing zip lines than can be done 2 by 2 ! The zip lines are amazing and the instructors were amazing too ! With the price there’s other activities like the stack line, the axe throwing, the vallea luminea and there’s a café with few games on the tables !!

Second time going and we had Monica and Brock as our guides. We had an absolute blast. Even with a slight delay due to a safety check on an unrelated trail Monica was great at updating us on the process. Could not be happier with the experience. Looking forward to coming back again next year!

My husband and I were nervous and reluctant, but we are SO glad that we booked this experience during our Whistler visit! Phoebe and Marlee were charismatic, and their light-hearted humor really helped to calm our nerves. It was more exhilarating and thrilling than scary, honestly. The 10 minute ride up to the first zipline and all four lines took just over 2 hours from start to finish. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to fly high above the forest!

Super fun experience with Natalie and Tom as our tour guides. They were super friendly and took lots of pictures/videos for us. My favourite was “Zed 1” as it had the best scenery. “Godzilla” definitely had a lot of speed and acceleration. With a day pass you can play as many times as you want within the day.

shuttle was late, still got there 2 hours before our schedule (3:30 pm) for the superfly to do the aerial obstacle course. we couldn’t try it out neither before nor after the ziplining. imo it’s too expensive to just simply tell no to the customer. there is also no clear information given that we should arrive earlier if we want to do the obstacle course as well. they’re understaffed, but guides were great at least. disappointed

Ziplining was a 10/10 experience. Kowala and Eloise made it so much fun with all the jokes, and their relaxed vibe. I probably laughed the hardest in a while with these two. Plus they made everything super safe and easy to understand. Totally would come again to do some other activities.

The park features multiple lanes and a tube conveyor lift to easily bring riders back up to the top for endless fun.
Great activity for any age group and level of expertise. Easily accessible from the whistler village center ( free ride from the excalibur gondola). You can get a 1 or 2 hr pass. One hour is enough to go through the slide a few times ( if there isn’t wait).

The Bubbly Tube Park is a fun spot and a great way to spend time with kids! The lanes are fast and exciting—some might even feel a bit scary, even for adults. However, keep in mind that buying tickets online in advance doesn’t guarantee entry. You still need to arrive early, wait in line, and exchange them for physical tickets, which can be frustrating. Plan ahead and give yourself extra time for a smooth experience.

Nice place top of the mountains to do tubing. They open 11 but unfortunately they were little late to open the place due to some kind of issue. Overall their stuff were kind and helpful. Very nice place to be in outdoors. Weekends can get full and you may drive and not be able to slide and parking on weekends is good luck. Try weekdays to skip the overcrowding.

Whistler's ice tubing park is an exhilarating experience for both kids and adults. Nestled in the picturesque surroundings, it offers a perfect blend of excitement and natural beauty. The recent snowfall enhances the thrill, turning the tubing adventure into a winter wonderland delight. The location's suitability for families is commendable, with various tubing lanes catering to different age groups. What sets this park apart is the stamina-testing aspect – the brisk downhill slides demand both physical effort and skill. The carefully designed lanes ensure a safe yet thrilling ride, making it accessible for all levels of adventure seekers. The staff's attention to safety measures provides a reassuring environment for families. The ambiance is festive, creating a joyful atmosphere that resonates with the holiday spirit. The sound of laughter and cheers fills the air as participants zoom down the slopes, creating lasting memories. In conclusion, Whistler's ice tubing park is a fantastic destination for those seeking an adrenaline rush in a winter paradise. The recent snowfall enhances the experience, making it a must-visit for families looking to create cherished memories together.

A great time for all ages. Our 5 year old had a blast with all the different runs and I was impressed at how smooth the ride was. The black diamond runs were plenty fast for adults to get a thrill! We went on a Tuesday so the lines were very short too!
Chris A — Google review
A fun activity for the family. Quite expensive for tubing, was over $100 for 2 adults and a 5yo. There are plenty of runs so not too long to wait. The longest queue is getting through the staff member scanning every ticket every time you go through, a slow process so the queue backs up. Great to have some black runs as well as the basic ones. The staff at the top were really friendly. There is no where to get water or a drink, the van for refreshments hadn't opened on a monday by 1pm when we left, so there really needs to be a drink machine to be able to buy water, as it's a long walk to the tube travelator and lots of kids were exhausted and looking for water. Overall a fun thing to do.
Tanya C — Google review
A good place to go if you want to have fun. We purchased an hour session. We had two double tube rides and two single tube rides. Better to be there minutes after it opens, so you can avoid Line ups and you can have more tubing experiences. The only minor con is that you have more walk going to the tube after the gondola ride dropped off at mid section. Walking on the stairs and on the tubing platform. But overall, I did enjoy it!
Stine R — Google review
Awesome place to spend time with family for tubing and skiing. Well maintained and not so pricey. Parking available by the location and it’s free. Tubing was around 28$ for an hour and less than 40 for 2 hours. There are 7 lanes of which lanes 5,6,7 are thrilling. The other lanes are also good. Washroom is available by the ticket counter. There will be a possible wait time if you are walking in to the location. Enjoyed the time there. Lots of photo opportunities.

Nestled in the Callaghan Valley, just a short drive from Whistler Village, Alexander Falls is a breathtaking natural wonder standing at 141 feet tall. This majestic waterfall offers visitors the chance to immerse themselves in the beauty of Mother Nature. Picnic tables dotting the observation deck provide a perfect spot to relax and take in the surroundings, while hikers can explore the lush forest and impressive rock formations along the Callaghan Valley trails.
Really beautiful spot. No hike, just a minute walk from the parking lot. The road that leads to the falls is very well maintained and nice wooden spot to enjoy the view. Bonus- its very less busy compared to the other attractions on Sea to Sky.

Stunning waterfall when it surrounds with snow. It’s hard to find the path to the waterfall because of thick snow layers. Safely park near road in winter but be careful about road signs.
Pushpani M — Google review
We went to see this waterfall at the end of May. It was big, powerful and right near the parking lot. We maybe walked 20 feet to see it from the viewing place.
Janae C — Google review
Alexander Falls, what a sight! It's a real beauty. I gotta say, it's way bigger than I expected. The best part? It's just a quick 15-minute drive from the BC 99 highway, so super convenient to reach. Now, I visited during a drier period, so the water levels weren't at their peak, but I can only imagine how spectacular it'd be in spring. Plus, here's the kicker: we practically had the place to ourselves for a good while - a perfect place for those seeking a peaceful experience. And here's the cherry on top - no hiking required. You can kick back and enjoy the view right from the parking lot!
Muneeb M — Google review
After seeing all of the people at Shannon Falls and Brandywine Falls, I was hoping that not many people knew about this place. Just about 15mins north of Brandywine Falls and almost deserted. No hike involved... the falls can be seen from the parking lot. It didn't look as impressive as I've seen in the past but that was probably when there was more snow melt. Watch out for the bugs... they were swarming around us as soon as we got out of the car. Even tho we've been here before, we still missed the turn off... could have used some better signage.

Well worth it , its a stunning waterfall at anytime of the year. Its got a viewing platform. Its got trails around . Its got a parking lot . Its got washroom outhouses . Its close to whistler not that far and not too far from the train wreck and brandywine falls too .

Beautiful falls, no hike required, but be careful, there are many bears.

A waterfall along Seat to Sky Hwy that is different from Shannon falls, Brandywine falls, and Nairn Falls. This waterfall is located 10 km off Sea to Sky Hwy, and the road leading to the falls is quite scenic.

I had an incredible day on two amazing tours yesterday with my parents! First up we had the canoe tour down the river of golden dreams which is a must-do in Whistler! Our guide Eli was an expert at navigating through the river and it was not only stunning but both peaceful in the calm and exciting in the fast moving water! Our second tour was the ATV tour up Blackcomb Mountain to Crystal Hut to enjoy a beautiful salmon dinner with spectacular views. Our guide Zach showed us a wonderful time on the ATV’s and it was so fun to ride up the trails that we normally ski on! Can’t recommend either tour more highly and the whole crew made sure the experience was seamless and stress-free, especially Penny & Sam in reservations when we were running late! Big thank you for an epic day in Whistler :)

I had the absolute best time on the ATV tour with Canadian Wilderness Adventures in Whistler! It was our very first time driving an off-road vehicle, and it turned out to be such a fun and unforgettable experience. Our guide, Georgia, made the tour truly special. She was incredibly attentive, patient, and knowledgeable—we felt comfortable and confident the whole way through. She made the ride both exciting and safe. The trails and sight seeing sports were beautiful, the adrenaline was high! I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Whistler, especially if you’re looking for a unique way to explore the wilderness. Huge thanks to Georgia for making our first ATV adventure one we’ll never forget!

I did the sunset Jeep tour with Dan and he was fantastic!! He showed us lots of great view points up the mountain and was very knowledgeable. He took great pictures of and for everyone in the group. I visited the first week in October. This meant the clouds hid the sunset a little, but we still had spectacular views and, although the sun was a bit shy, it still put on a show. I also did the Buggy tour with Curt and Anna and they were wonderful! The views were out of this world, especially with the fall foliage. We got to splash in a bunch of puddles and take in the scenery. I will definitely book excursions with Canadian Wilderness Adventures on my next trip to Whistler.

The Sunset Jeep Tour was an amazing tour. Tom was an excellent guide and shared lots of stories along the way as well as stopped along several viewpoints. This is a private mountain with exclusive access which makes it a very unique experience. The sunset from the top is simply mesmerising.

Absolute Vibe of a trip! If you are able to do one of these adventures do it! We had a great time zooming through the wilderness it ended up lightly snowing towards the middle of our adventure. We did the buggy cruise with Georgia, was an absolute legend taking us around the tracks and ensuring we were all safe in the weather and having fun! Very knowledgeable and took us through some awesome tracks. Thanks for the amazing experience. Also she had some of the best shuttle bus music!

Our Whistler wilderness ATV adventure was absolutely amazing from start to finish! The scenery was breathtaking—towering trees, fresh mountain air, and stunning viewpoints that made every turn feel magical. The trails were the perfect mix of exciting and safe, letting us really enjoy the ride without feeling rushed. A huge shout-out to our tour guide, who made the experience unforgettable. Brandan was knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about the area. He made sure everyone felt comfortable and confident on the ATVs. His energy and humor kept us smiling the whole way. It’s clear that the owner has created something truly special here—a welcoming, well-run space where people can connect with nature, experience adventure, and make lasting memories. Everything from the equipment to the atmosphere felt thoughtfully planned and cared for. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Whistler. Whether you’re new to ATVs or a seasoned rider, you’ll have an incredible time exploring the wild beauty of the mountains. Thank you! 🙏

We had the best time on our 3 hour buggy tour with Tom! He’s a great photo taker and the best buggy guide one could ask for! We had a fun time driving on the trail, navigating through dust clouds, splashing through water, and seeing the beautiful views. Even with a portion of the time taken up on the shuttle to the base camp and training, the duration was more than enough. We also left with tons of photos thanks to our guide. I would recommend this to anyone in the Whistler area!

I took the River of Golden Dreams tour and really enjoyed it. Starting with a paddle across Alta Lake and then into the river section we had fantastic views and great fun. The water levels were a little low which added some challenge and fun navigating over the Beaver Damns! We were looked after really well by our guides IIona & Georgia who worked really hard in the heat getting all the canoes in & out of the water. Would definitely recommend this trip if you are looking for something adventurous but not too extreme.

Golf course
The Palmer's Golf Club in Whistler Village is a championship-level golf course designed by Arnold Palmer. The course offers stunning views of the surrounding peaks and has been named one of the most beautiful in Canada. The club is popular with golfers for its relaxed atmosphere, helpful staff, and great value for money.
What an amazing ⛳️ course breathtaking views. We arrived in Whistler two days later. we headed out and play this course, my son and I. The gentleman at the clubhouse was super nice friendly and welcoming I feel bad I don't remember his name but he got us out on the course with no problem and helped us with a cart and directions to The Practice Facility. The young lady got us out earlier on the first tee she super nice answering questions about the golf course that we had. I decided to play the blue tees, not knowing how long the course played. The greens and Fairways are definitely kept up green roll fast on some holes and firm i did get challenge with some really long dog leg holes that requires you to get perfect shots to allow you to hit the green and two. Some of the par 4 and part 5 were a bit long for my son, so we just dropped the ball closer to the green. It's still a good course for junior golfers. After a few holes, we did get backed up, but everybody was friendly, and nobody was in a rush. The back nine definitely was a challenge coming off the turn you are welcome with a full bar and hot dog you can buy. Hole 16 is breathtaking. The tea box is up high, and there are always spectators waiting for you to tee off. Be aware. Overall, this is definitely a bucket list Golf Course I give it a 10 out of 10 amazing staff an amazing course. PS you might see 🐻 walking through the fairways, but the day we played, we didn't see any.
A S — Google review
Fun and very playable track! Played from the whites (6004 yards) and the course was in good condition, considering the near-drought conditions BC has been in for the past few weeks. Skies were hazy from the forest fires, but no question you would get some fantastic back drops to holes throughout the course. Pleasantly surprised to find out the course is relatively flat so it was a good walk. Friendly staff greet you at the bag drop, pro shop and throughout the property - fantastic hospitality! You receive a warm up bag of balls with your green fees (power carts are extra). But give yourself time as the driving range is separate from the course (short 2 min drive away on the other side of the highway). The practice green is by the clubhouse next to the first tee. Featuring 3 Par 5s and 4 Par 3s with large, undulating & tiered greens makes this Arnold Palmer designed course a fun track to play for all skill levels. In addition, the pro shop is an official Nike retailer and carries a wide range of Nike golf gear. And of course, the Palmer’s Gallery Bar & Grill is perfect for the 19th hole meal and drink. Recommend the Palmer’s Punch (Arnie’s signature drink - lemonade + iced tea with vodka!) Will definitely return.

Amazing course! Took too many of my golf balls though 🤦 well maintained and the staff was great! Had to rent clubs which is usually an adventure at resort courses but Whistler had top of the line Titleist clubs including a Scotty Cameron putter
Freddy W — Google review
I played 4 rounds here in 3 days. I’ve traveled all over the world to play golf and this is my favorite course on the planet. I always pay attention to course maintenance and you would think you were the very first person to play the course. It’s kept up very very well. The course lay out is a walkable and the perfect place to spend a morning or afternoon. The bar/restaurant and the folks who work there, including the entire staff, are awesome! Boomer and his talk about the worlds greatest hot dog does not disappoint either. The carts have coolers, club cleaners, GPS, speaker Bluetooth connectivity…honestly I could rave about this course for hours. It’s just so well manicured and not just a beautiful mountain course with majestic views etc etc. it’s the service, level of comfort, perfectly manicured Blades of grass, everywhere. I don’t think I saw one dead patch of grass. Shout out to maintenance, great team of folks working and servicing this beautiful place! If you know whistler and it’s dicey weather, you can play here in a downpour and the course still drains like a champ, it may be cart path only but the fairways are so tight you won’t have to walk far. The grass is squishy and soft, pure, and excellent for reading greens and chipping money shots within 140yards. This course will make you play well. It’s impossible to hit bad shots when then grass is so so good to hit off of. Go there!!!!

Great holiday golf club. Not super hard. Lovely views. Staff fantastic. 4.5 hrs without carts. The pull trolleys are v good, as were the rental clubs
John H — Google review
Very nice course, most holes are forgiving for casual golfers. Our “cart girl” Harley was absolutely fantastic but the course Marshall Cam was incredibly rude and aggressive without warrant from our group, even telling other groups to hit up on us. Cam was incredibly unprofessional.
Carson J — Google review
Top notch Course with star treatment and great warm-up facilities. Challenging, but, fair course. Well designed and immaculate greens. They even have long drive and closest to pin markers for groups. Only complaint was that they couldn't link all the leaderboards/carts together properly for our group of 12. Still impressed with the overall experience. Now if only my golf game could be as impressive. 😜

Embark on an unforgettable adventure with Whistler Photo Safaris Bear Tours, offering a safe and exciting opportunity to observe black bears in their natural habitat. Located just 15 minutes from Whistler Village, the tours take place in a comfortable 4x4 vehicle, transporting guests to the Callaghan Valley and Whistler Olympic Park. Visitors are almost guaranteed to spot these magnificent creatures during the summer months.
Incredible experience, our guide Jacob was fantastic, very knowledgeable and friendly to speak to, my wife and I ended up having our own private tour as there were only 2 of us in the truck. The new broncos are great and we wish we could have one in the UK! We saw 7 bears on our tour, the winter Olympic park is a great habitat for these animals and seeing them not long out of hibernation and with cubs in some cases was truly special. Cannot recommend this highly enough and would love to do it again. All credit to the tour company who are so respectful of the bears, their habitat and their personal space.

Joel was our tour guide and he was amazing and had lots of facts for us about bears, and anything nature. We got to see some beautiful waterfalls and even saw a bear near the end or our tour. Was so much fun and would defiantly do again. The guides all communicate and let each other know if any bears around. He took us on a fun ride and the kids loved bouncing around.

We recently went on the sunset bear safari with our guide Byron and it was honestly incredible! He answered every single question we had and was so knowledgeable, telling us more weird and wonderful things about bears and other wildlife. We were lucky enough to see 4 bears, and it was just breathtaking driving around the Olympic park keeping an eye out for them. This company is very aware of the potential impact on nature and wildlife and does everything it can to ensure a responsible, respectful safari! We would do this tour again in a heartbeat! Huge thanks to Byron for the great tour.

We had Jacob for our tour and had an incredible time. We were lucky enough to immediately find a male bear out in a field in perfect light and then as we moved down we got to see 2 other Mating pairs and a cub that's sadly been abandoned but seems to be doing remarkably well considering. We also saw another female who ducked down into a gully. The team were amazing the whole tour and Jacob really knew the trails and gave lots of great insights into the bears of the area. If you come to Whistler and the bears are around then this is a must do. 7 bears we won't ever forget ! Thanks team

My wife and I had a wonderful time yesterday on our bear viewing tour with our guide Kelly. We were fortunate to see Priscilla Bear next to the road feeding on berry bushes as we watched quietly from the 4x4. It was refreshing and uplifting to have Kelly guide us through the untamed forest in such a respectful and peaceful way. Kelly is an excellent driver and we felt safe and secure with her hands at the wheel. It was clear to see that Kelly has a genuine passion and empathy for bears and wildlife in general. Her knowledge of the life of bears revealed some interesting facts that we were unaware of. Seeing a bear in the wild was fantastic and heartwarming but it was Kelly's positive personality and professionalism that made our tour a lovely day to remember! Thanks Kelly and all of your crew for looking out for our beautiful bears! Wayne & Kimberly

We highly recommend Jacob and this company for anyone keen to see bears undisturbed in their own habitat, and some other breathtaking scenery. Exceptional experience!

We booked a bear tour with Whistler Photo Safaris. The team is very friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about what they do — that part really came through and we appreciated it. That said, the experience didn’t feel like good value for money. The vehicles are Ford Broncos, technically rated for 5 passengers, but in reality they only seat 4 comfortably. Our group had 5, and the squeeze really took away from the overall enjoyment. With a full vehicle, it was almost impossible for everyone to see (or photograph) the bears properly, as the three people in the back were constantly competing for space and visibility. We only saw one bear, which of course isn’t guaranteed, and we did enjoy the guides communicating between cars via voice app. But when a bear was spotted elsewhere, the quick drive to get there was very bumpy — and with three in the back, it was not a pleasant ride. My suggestions: • Limit tours to 3 guests plus guide as standard — it would make the experience much more comfortable. • Balance out groups better. We noticed some cars had only 2–3 guests, while others (like ours) were packed full. Overall, friendly guides and good intentions, but the execution could be improved to match the price point.

Wow, what can I say. We have just come back from the most incredible Bear Safari with Whistler Photo Bear Safari. Our guide and drive Chris was fantastic. We couldn't have wished for a better person to take us on our bear hunt. We were picked up from our hotel in an awesome, comfortable 4x4 and taken to the Olympic Park. On our way there, 5 min in we saw our first bear! On the side of the road before we reached the Park. Mission accomplished. Chris was very thorough, taking us through all types of terrain and in total we saw 6 sightings of 4 different Bears. What was great is that 3 other teams on different areas of the park shared locations of bear sightings so we could drive straight there. Great team work. I am glad we chose Whistler Photo Safari and that we had Chris as our super star guide. Thank you for memories to last a lifetime.

The Blackcomb Gondola, which opened in December 2018, is a state-of-the-art 10-person Doppelmayr lift that carries 184 cable cars and can transport up to 4,000 people per hour. It connects the Upper Village to the Rendezvous Lodge on Blackcomb Mountain as part of a continuous lift system that includes the P2P and Whistler Village Gondolas, spanning an impressive 13.
The prices are high here, but when you see the kind of engineering for construction this, you think it is amazing to be there. The peak to peak experience is incredible, it’s like flying in a plane, but in slow motion. You have to be clear in your mind that this is a 100% touristic place and don’t expect low prices. The landscapes are wonderful. Try to be before midday to have more from the trip. Expect lots of people in the morning going up. After 2:00 pm is not so crowded but consider going down about 4:00 pm. In my opinion it’s the main and best attraction in Whistler. Usually part of the time it rains, so bring an umbrella. Glacier at the mountains, beautiful woods.

A Cozy, Scenic, and Social Ride to the Top! 🚠🏔️ Our morning ride on the Blackcomb Gondola was the perfect start to our Whistler adventure. We arrived around 9:30 AM and bought our sightseeing tickets on the spot—no hassle at all! The staff were super friendly and even gave us a trail map so we could plan our hikes once we reached the top. There were already about 10 groups ahead of us in line (guess we weren’t the only early birds!), but the line moved quickly. We shared our gondola cabin with a lovely older couple, and we ended up chatting the whole way up—it was such a warm and unexpected highlight of the trip! The views from the gondola were stunning. We glided over lush forests and caught glimpses of Lost Lake and another beautiful lake (whose name I unfortunately forgot—oops!). Seeing Whistler Village shrink below us as we ascended was pretty magical. This gondola is such a comfortable and easy way to reach the mountain peaks without breaking a sweat. Whether you're a hiker, a sightseer, or just looking to enjoy incredible views, I highly recommend giving this a go. We’ll definitely be back—maybe next time for some winter skiing!
Daniel Z — Google review
What a beautiful place. The scenery is amazing and the gondola ride is quiet and smooth. Take the gondola up Blackcomb Mountain and hike around the area before boarding the Peak to Peak Gondola which takes you to Whistler Mountain. On Whistler mountain you can take a chair lift to the top if you don't mind an exhilarating seven minute ride looking at the various items people have dropped while ascending to the very top. Take pictures and view 360 degrees around you observing nothing but mountains as far as you can see. Make sure it is a clear and relatively cloudless day for this experience. Now take a short walk to a steel swing bridge (Cloud Raker Sky Bridge) and then out on a steel outcrop (Ravens Eye) where you can observe additional views of snow capped mountains, mountain lakes and valleys below. If you like to mountain bike you can rent bikes in the village and take it up Whistler Mountain where you can bike down the backside. This is a wonderful, once in a lifetime experience you will never forget.
Victor G — Google review
This was a pretty cool experience going up the gondola. I had never been to a mountain this big though I had been to Whistler before I had never experienced getting up to the mountain. There’s actually a lot to do even if you are not skiing or snowboarding. The bar at the top of the mountain is pretty cool and there’s lots of different merchandise to buy at the top of the mountain. The views are spectacular but I did kinda get a little queasy at certain spots because it was a bit high up for.
Chris R — Google review
During our recent trip to Whistler, we booked to go on the Blackcomb Gondola that promised amazing views over the region and a skybridge in the mountains. We boarded our gondola at the Blackcomb terminal which is around a ten-minute walk from Whistler village. The ride was very comfortable with some nice views on the way, but the real attraction is at the top. At the top we boarded the peak-to-peak gondola to take us from the top of one mountain to the other, when we came off we then took a chairlift that took us to the summit where the views were out of this world. The hike to the chairlift is around 15 minutes over uneven terrain but it is worth it if you are able. There is a first nations statue that looks amazing in its surrounding, you may have to wait a few minutes to get your turn to get a photograph, but it is worth it. We walked across the skybridge which is high enough to send shivers down the spine of even the bravest but the reward is the most amazing view and backdrop for photos. After we got off the bridge, we spotted a hoary marmot who was casually digging up grass and munching away, a top moment on our trip as we hadn't seen marmots anywhere else. Overall, the gondola is good value for money and a great way to spend a couple of hours when visiting Whistler.

It was last day of closing and it was a lot of people. We showed up at the opening and it was packed. It was very quick ride up and then we took Peak 2 Peak gondola. Then we hiked up to the top point and we took drag lift spent some time up went down. We stopped by cafe with a nice view and had some drinks (very overpriced) We took Whistler mountain gondola down and we got lucky because we were the only people in the gondola and finally I could film something. We spent 3 h all together. We are not professional hikers or bike mountain lovers we just wanted to have a good time and see panoramic view from the top of the mountains.

We had an amazing time kayaking with Martin this morning. He taught us a few kayaking basics, gave us a chance to practice, and then guided us through a really fun trip from Alta Lake up through to the river of golden dreams. He was super knowledgeable and really patient with members of our group that were newer to kayaking. I felt like we learned a lot also having a really fun time.

What a wonderful way to explore Whistler! I recently took the Valley Bike Tour with Whistler Eco Tours and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. From start to finish it was one of the highlights of my trip. First off, the guides are amazing—knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about the area. They wove in fascinating stories about Whistler’s history, geography, and nature spots as we rode through villages, lakes, parks, and scenic trails, which made the experience feel rich and immersive rather than just a casual ride. The route itself is beautiful and well chosen. The Valley Trail is paved, smooth, and offers a variety of scenery—forest, water, neighborhood views—it’s a lovely balance of nature and local charm. Because the tour is private and guided, things move at a pace that suits the group, which makes it more comfortable and enjoyable. All the gear was in great condition—bike, helmet, lock, etc.—and the fact that bike rental is included is a definite plus. Also appreciated: the safety briefing, the maps, and trail tips. Even though weather in the mountains can be unpredictable, the guides are well prepared and make sure you’re too. If you’re looking for a memorable, relaxing, yet active way to see Whistler—and learn a bit about the place as you go—I can’t recommend the Valley Bike Tour enough. Whether you ride often or this is a rare outing, you’ll leave with beautiful views, good exercise, and a deeper appreciation for the local environment. Thank you Whistler Eco Tours—this was a 10/10 experience.

We just got back from a wonderful tour. Daly is the epitome of fun and upbeat I expect from Whistler culture. This is our 3rd time here and I haven’t seen a bear 🐻 until today. Unexpected sightings included a young bear eating, bald eagle, 🦅 and cute ducks 🦆 Seeing my first bear while in a canoe 🛶 with my daughter is very memorable. This was a core memory for us. Although I know how rare this is. We got lucky. 🍀 but just book with Daly as he brings the good energy!

The best experience one can have! TOTALLY RECOMMENDED!!! From the staff to the tours they provided, can't wait to do it again with them. My family loved it and we loved it. My husband and I did the Green Lake Adventure Paddle tour with Jeannie earlier this month and it was SPECTACULAR! Jeannie was very knowledgeable and great company to chat with! Green Lake is GORGEOUS, and paddling the end of the River of Golden Dreams was beautiful too! The hike in Whistler's Ghost Town was also very cool and Jeannie told us the fascinating history of the area. We definitely recommend Whistler Eco Tours and specifically the Green Lake paddle tour!! And HUGE thank you to Jeannie for being an absolute delight and making our day so special!!! :)

Amazing experience, so much fun on the Green Lake tour! The views are just incredible! Our guide (18 Sep, 2pm) was the best, and the combo of him and Scott is hilarious. He took great pictures and videos for us. The group was fab and we just had the best time with perfect weather 🙌😎

We booked the self guided river of golden dreams canoe trip which was a highlight of our holiday. We enjoyed paddling across Alta lake and then down the river, taking in the beautiful scenery. We had to negotiate quite a few beaver dams which was fully explained to us by staff, and made the journey a real adventure. This has inspired us to try more canoeing. We would definitely recommend to others.
Fiona A — Google review
My two sons (ages 17 and 12) and I rented a canoe for a tour of Alta Lake. My kids are inexperienced paddlers, but we were able to take a nice leisurely lap of the entire lake in about 90 minutes (including a snack break). We were advised that it would take 3 hours, so we booked the half day (3/4 hours). At the end of the day, we used the excess time to row around certain spots again and goof around on the lake - more quality time without gadgets. We were on the lake for just over 3 hours and had fun - great weather and views.

At the top of Whistler Mountain, near the Peak Chairlift, lies the Cloudraker Skybridge. This thrilling attraction offers breathtaking views of British Columbia and spans 130 meters across a chasm from Whistler Peak to West Ridge. The bridge provides an exhilarating experience as it crosses high above the Whistler Bowl below. In addition to this adventure, visitors can enjoy various hiking trails suitable for all abilities during the summer season.
Amazing sky bridge! Highly recommend on a nice day. You’ll still need a sightseeing pass to take the lifts up, free to cross the bridge once you get there. But it’s worth it.
Emily P — Google review
Awesome. Although it was pretty crowded. Make sure you stay fairly early in holiday season otherwise you might experience a little jamming on the bridge
Heidi H — Google review
Well worth the extra walk and chairlift to experience epic mountain views. This pic was taken in August and I would recommend bringing layers as it’s very windy and chilly. Also due to lightning warning, the chairlift down temporarily stopped so would have been nice to have that sweater!
Sonya S — Google review
The cloudraker skybridge is great place to visit if you can. You do need to first take two gondolas to get close. If you are lucky, a final ski lift will take you to within a half mile of the skybridge. If the ski lift is not running you will need to hike to it. It is about a 1200 foot elevation gain so take your time. Count on 1 1/2 to 2 hours to hike from the peak to peak gondola to the skybridge. One to 1 1/2 hours to go back down. Highly recommend it if you can.
Jim H — Google review
Recommend book ticket online in advance to skip the long line. Fantastic view. need to take two separated Gondola rides and a lift to get to Cloudraker Skybridge. The weather might get very cold.
John L — Google review
What a great experience. Was even able to take 75 year old guest with us.
Tina E — Google review
The Cloudraker Skybridge is definitely worth seeing. I did not find it scary at all but some people did-even a little bit. It gave a feeling like you’re walking across the mountain top high in the air and the view was awesome. If you are not from bc and/ or have never seen majestic snow covered mountains you will be in awe. We took the gondola up to the top of Whistler then had to take a chair up to the cloudraker Skybridge. That was a long a a big scary ride to the top because it was so steep but we were safe! Just make sure to go there early in the day and don’t wait till 3 :00 to come down as it gets super busy with everyone trying yo get down before it closes.
Deb P — Google review
The bridge is a cable suspension bridge, and you may not like it if you get seasick. Either way, the lookout can be reached by bridge or foot, and the views are spectacular. It's well worth a trip up the mountain. From this 8000-foot lookout, you will get a stunning vista of everything in the distance and a cool view of Whistler Village and surrounding lakes. When you reach the top with the gondola, a short hike to the lift takes you up to the peak; if you need help with a mild elevation hike, you may have trouble getting back to the gondola.

Located at the base of Blackcomb mountain, the Family Adventure Zone is a summer hotspot offering an array of exciting activities for kids and adults alike. From go-karts to trampolines, bouncy castles to a giant airbag jump, there's no shortage of fun here. Additionally, Vallea Lumina is a popular nearby attraction featuring an immersive light show set in the forested surroundings of Cougar Mountain.
Our five year-old and seven-year-old were here both Saturday and Sunday. There’s bouncy castle, water, roller, super trampoline, magic wall, and rope zone. Tickets is about $16 each per activity. You can purchase five or more ticket at a better rate.Jake Was helping my daughter was two different activity. He was very friendly. Made the experience very good. Will definitely come back again.
Sharon B — Google review
My 3 year old had a lot of fun on the bouncy castle and the operator did not enforce the time limit which was nice. Also didn’t have to wait at all to go on. However the guy operating the bouncy castle instructed us to go buy a ticket for $16, while he told the family who came after us they could go on for free. I didn’t like the unfair service.
Joy E — Google review
We were in Whistler for a mini break and while checking out the market in the upper village, we found this place! The kids were excited so I went to go grab some tickets. So the good news is that the kids had a blast. They have these bungee trampolines a climbing wall, adventure course, floating balls that you can go inside, a large bounce obstacle course and a spinning centrifuge type of ride. The attendants were lovely and helpful and very sweet to the kids. The down side is the price. $16/ride or experience/kid.....they do have packs of tickets for a discounted rate but still...it's a steep price for what it is.
Jessica P — Google review
Waste of money! Rude older gentleman operating bouncy adventure. My family has been going to the Family Adventure Zone for years and we’ve always had a wonderful experience however this year, my twins were yelled at by a worker gentleman who accused them of running on the bouncy castle (when they weren’t) and they felt so intimidated by him they left after only using 9/20min we paid for. While I know the FAZ is an attraction, spending $40+ for 20min time limit on a bouncy castle is a rip off but we were on holidays and never mind paying for fun experiences but this was far from it! I do not recommend.
Jules T — Google review
Rope Zone specifically- we were there on Friday afternoon around 2pm and whoever girl was working on the rope zone was clearly offended by our mere presence. She made couple of faces and eye glares looking at our 6yr old. Maybe because our daughter was a little anxious going up and eventually decided to climb down. The girl on duty with short blonde hair was clearly annoyed by our presence, maybe because we interrupted her chit chat with another lady. Just because of her attitude we decided to not do it and leave the place. Some training on how to treat people is really missing. Not recommended.
Neha K — Google review

Lakeside Park is a popular spot located on Alta Lake, offering a range of amenities and activities for visitors. The park features picnic tables, BBQ platforms, a sandy beach, and a concession stand run by Backroads Whistler. Families can enjoy the children's play structure, large grass lawn, and easy access to the water with docks and sandy areas for kids.
Very nice place for walking and for the adventurer. For all the nature lovers you will have the best mountain views. The place makes you appreciate the wilderness. I was there in January were the lake was frozen but nevertheless lovely place. Alta lake is in the middle of wilderness.

Gloomy early morning weekday in August. The place is quite and the water was serene. A small store to buy snacks and ice cream, to rent kayak, canoe or boats for your paddling experience in the lake and a small playground for kids to play. The view is picturesque and panoramic.

LOVE THE VIEW FROM MY KAYAK 😭 felt like a scene from the movie it was breathtaking. If you ain’t on the water you ain’t getting the full experience. Could it BE any more scenic?? ## Alta Lake: Stunning Beauty for All in Whistler Alta Lake, nestled amidst the majestic mountains of Whistler, offers a scenic escape for visitors of all interests. Here's a breakdown of what you can expect: **Breathtaking Scenery:** The centerpiece of the area is the lake itself. Surrounded by towering evergreens and snow-capped peaks, Alta Lake offers a picture-perfect backdrop for any activity. **Year-Round Activities:** Whether you visit in summer or winter, Alta Lake has something to offer. During warmer months, kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, and swimming are popular choices. The well-maintained trail around the lake is perfect for walking, running, or cycling. In winter, the lake transforms into a winter wonderland, ideal for ice skating (conditions permitting) or simply enjoying the snowy scenery. **Relaxation or Adventure:** Alta Lake caters to both relaxation and adventure seekers. Lakeside parks offer picnic areas, BBQ grills, and beaches, perfect for a day of lounging and soaking up the sun. For the more adventurous, water sports rentals are available, and the nearby mountains offer hiking and biking trails for all skill levels. **Keep in mind:** * **Parking:** Parking, especially during peak season, can be limited. Consider using the free shuttle service from Whistler Village or cycling to the lake. * **Limited Amenities:** There are a few restaurants and cafes scattered around the lake, but options are limited compared to Whistler Village. **Overall:** Alta Lake is a must-visit for anyone exploring Whistler. With its stunning scenery, variety of activities, and relaxed atmosphere, it's a place to unwind, reconnect with nature, or embark on an adventure. Just be prepared for potential crowds and limited amenities compared to the main village.

Beautiful place to hangout during the summer season. The place gets really busy, so if you are trying to have a picnic or just chill out try going a little early so that you can find a spot for yourself. This place has access to washrooms, which is really good. You can also try boating activities or take a dip in the water.
Kanika B — Google review
Nice little spot for sunbathing or water sports. Just a small patch of Sandy beach area. Though it takes some time to look for parking. Kayak and canoe rentals for $50/hour, paddle boat rental for $60/hour.
Emily L — Google review
A great park, but pretty crowded when it's hot. There are bathrooms, a small playground, a dock, and a store to get cold drinks and treats, so no roughing it here. You can walk or bike there on an excellent path from either Whistler or Creekside, or drive and park too.
Don A — Google review
This is one of the nice parks at Whistler, 5-6 Mins dr be from the Village. The parking is limited but the roadside parking works, except it’s a steep walk. There are boat rentals (pedal/kayak/canoe) available as well. The biking trails are decent but not for family. Lake is big and good enough to pedal/row for an hour. There was a coffee truck and some snacks bar as well. Small beach area for kids to play, and swim.

We loved Alpha Lake Park! It's great place to spend a relaxing day with friends and family. There's a playground for kids to enjoy, a fenced area where you dogs could run around, an area to play volleyball at, washroom to relieve yourself, shower area to rinse yourself in case you decided to take a dip in the lake, picnic tables and bench, and lots of open space :) will definitely go back there next time

We loved Alpha Lake Park! It's a gem! We DID see a smaller Bear and it strolled through and did not bother anybody. It scared me at first, but it seemed to be normal? The park for kids to play on (in my pictures) is awesome 👌. Its very young kid friendly and also older ones too! It's super well built out of large wood logs. The docks are nice to walk down and jump off of, the water is chilly, but refreshing! There is a sand volleyball court on the beach and lots of grassy area. There also is a basketball and tennis court right beside the parking lot. There is a dog 🐕 park too! This location has it all! For young and old! Definitely worth going to. But don't leave garbage around and don't be surprised if you see a bear (but maybe it was just our lucky day 😉)

This is a beautiful small family and dog friendly park. It has a small playground for kids and a small beach and pier for swimming. However, the lake is infected with the bacteria causing "swimmer's itch" which is easily treatable. There are warning signs of this issue and how to treat it. This is a great place for a family or friends' barbecue.

Another gorgeous park! We saw mostly the dog park section, but it was well maintained and fun! There is a closed in and gated dog park here with lake access (via a pontoon) and a big pile of sand if your dog likes digging. There was plenty of free parking.

Scam company, during april, they sell a 3 months pass where you get an additional 4th month included. Yet they don't tell you that during the 4th month the pool and gym will be closed. Supposedly this happens every year, yet the earliest email they sent about this closure was ONLY 3 DAYS PRIOR TO THE CLOSURE. They offered no immeditae compensation or solution for consumers, unless they went out of your way to call them. They directly lied on the phone saying email notification was given much earlier than 3 days prior, yet refused to provide a date or further information on these supposed notifications... they offered 20% bonus days as compensation for taking away 66% of the services.... They falsely claim that they have no obligation to provide 100% services due to their terms of service, that is not true... this bait and switch is fraud and not permitted in Canada. Please report them to Consumer Protection BC... You cannot offer a monthly service then simply take away 66% of it because your terms say "availability of services may vary"

We bought a painting from Whistler Village Art Gallery and had a problem with the painting over time. They did not return our emails and phone calls. Fortunately, the artist worked with us directly to resolve the problem. Would not do business here again.

Whistler Creekside is a prime location for visitors, offering a ski-in, ski-out experience just five minutes from the main village. It boasts its own marketplace and access to a gondola, as well as popular dining options like Dustys BBQ. Known for its family-friendly and quieter atmosphere compared to the main village, it also features historic attractions such as the Whistler Railway station. Additionally, Whistler Bike Park offers various trails including those in Creekside area.
I was blown away by the beautiful nature at Whistler Ski Resort, and I had so much fun snowboarding on the variety of slopes for all levels. That said, I’d recommend total beginners get the beginner slope pass. I went with two beginners, and even the easiest run took them over an hour to get down… tough day!

Whistler Creekside has a flair all of its own. The WC village has the Vail Resorts Gondola base, Dusty's Bar & Grill, the marketplace grocery, a LCB Beer & Spirits store, the Can-ski Sports store, a Starbucks, Attitude Fitness centre, a Bakery and a few other small businesses to complement the area. It is well designed, developed and articulated as a quaint little spot with ample parking for the stores apart from the 3 levels of covered parking for the resort. It is flanked by Evolution, Legends and First Tracks Guest Lodges along with the Whistler Mountain Ski Club along with another ski rental shop and Tim Hortons restaurant.

The difference a week makes in the mountains of Whistler! Lots of snow fell this week up on top!
Doug T — Google review
Creekside is a very nice area and much quieter than the main Whistler village, which feels like a traditional high traffic shopping & dining area. We liked staying in this area at Taluswood (2 families with 4 kids) and really enjoyed it given very easy access to the mountain and free parking in a covered 2 level garage right below the gondola. Super convenient and fast access to the mountain - you just walk up to the gondola and ride up to a mid base. The village itself is really small and generally quiets down when lifts close, but it has a few restaurants, a ski equipment store and coffee shop. The ski school here is the smallest of the 3 between (Whister, Blackcomb and Creekside) and only has a little magic carpet and some very short runs. I think it works fine for very novice beginners but if you've taken classes before, would try Whistler or Blackcomb ski school instead.
Michael L — Google review
Come to the better deal of Whistler. Hotels are cheaper but rooms larger, the grocery store has more choices. There is not a ton of shopping activities or dining options, but if you're going to cook dinner at your rental, this is better anyways. New policy for ski lifts, you always need to buy online at least one day ahead. It is no longer possible to get a free or discount end of season lift with next year's pass.
David B — Google review
Very large area with lots of things to do, I was staying with some of my friends and we could just ski down there. Lots of available food options and many people to talk with. However like everything in Whistler it was fairly expensive so keep that in mind when you are in whistler. Gondolas are very accessible and I thoroughly enjoyed trip.

Ghost town
Parkhurst is a fascinating destination located near Whistler, offering a unique blend of natural beauty and historical intrigue. Accessible via the Wedge Creek Forest Service Road, this magical hike leads south towards the lake, with Parkhurst situated on the North-Eastern side. The trail to Whistler's ghost town is an unusual yet alluring experience, featuring train wrecks and off-the-beaten-track gems that add an element of adventure to the journey.
One of the original homesteads of Whistler. Parkhurst Ghost Village. Nestled on the north shore of Green Lake and accessible by canoe or hiking, it is an impressive and surreal spectacle. Way back when logging (rather than tourism) was the big business in British Columbia, Parkhurst was a logging village. As the logging industry declined in the 1950’s, Parkhurst was simply abandoned. The results are that wandering around you step back in time to when this community was thriving. You'll see abandoned cars, houses and even a monster tractor nestling on the edge of the lake. Quite simply, a visit to Parkhust is a visit to an interactive museum in the forest. For some history on the Parkhurst logging community check out this great post from Whistler Museum. Despite Whistler’s punishing winter conditions, there is still a strong sense of what the community used to be. One ramshackle house is still (sort of) standing and several others in different levels of destruction can be explored. There’s the shell of a car that is a mandatory Kodak moment: cruising through the woods in your convertible! The massive logging tractor that is perched on Green Lake takes some exploring to find but is well worth the search. A giant monolith of past times hanging out on the lake. You can get to Parkhurst a few ways but the two easiest options include canoeing across Green Lake or hiking the Sea-to-Sky trail, then turning off onto the Parkhurst trails. Canoeing takes approximately 1-3 hours while the roundtrip hike takes between 3-5 hours. If hiking from Whistler Village, you follow the Sea to Sky Trail for six kilometres, all while taking in some beautiful views over Green Lake along the way. After roughly six kilometres there are unmarked trails that veer off to the left that will take you to Parkhurst after about 500 metres. The trails to Parkhurst are fairly well established so shouldn’t be missed. If you decide to canoe, simply head to the north shore of Green Lake and keep your eyes peeled for the giant rotting logging tractor. When you’ve found that, you know you’re near the Parkhurst. Parkhurst can be visited in the winter by snow-shoeing, but many of the ancient household appliances littered around the area will be hidden by snow. Mosquitoes are around in full force in the forest so some heavy repellent is highly advisable. Dogs are welcome on this trip if you choose to bring them along. Have fun exploring another one of Whistler’s hidden secrets! View our Whistler Vacation Guide for Other Activity Ideas and Information

Not much a town but still spooky. Follow the orange signs to get to it. Nice wee hike to get there, nice long hike when you come from the harbour side of the lake where the golf club is 😅
Carolin K — Google review
I’ve wanted to visit Parkhurst for as long as I know about Whistler. We finally decided to cross this off the bucket list this trip and gave it a go. There are three major points: house, car, and then the rest. I’d say it’s more of an abandoned building than a town. Learning about the history beforehand added to the experience :) As someone who let expectations built up in their head for years, it’s by no means a huge let down. However, I would say treat this experience as a hike with some cool sceneries at the end of it as a bonus instead of hiking to a destination to adjust expectations accordingly! Hike was moderately challenging but rewarding when you finally get there. Walking along the train tracks in the beginning of the hike when you park near the entrance of Wedgemont Lake trail feels like you’re transported to A Quiet Place!
Louis L — Google review
If you stick to the usual path you'll have a grand old time, if you follow your adventures instinct you'll have life time memory. I'm saying the path tracked out is easier then most. Also can piles everywhere, spooky!.

Must have been a peaceful place back in the day. Only 1 building standing. Lots of people living along the logging roads on the way up. Can do a loop which is nice. Fine for older children.

Tucked between majestic peaks and alpine forests, Whistler Village felt like walking through a postcard. Every path was framed by mountain views, flower-lined walkways, and cozy chalets. The fresh mountain air, the sound of distant waterfalls, and the sight of snow still hugging the slopes—even in summer—made every moment feel surreal. Whether we were exploring the shops, watching the clouds roll over the peaks, or just pausing to take it all in, Whistler was pure mountain magic.

Whistler Blackcomb's Peak 2 Peak Gondola offers an incredible experience, allowing visitors to soar across the mountains and witness breathtaking views. The gondola provides access to a vast ski area, with heli-ski services expanding the terrain even further. With abundant snowfall and opportunities for bear sightings, it's a paradise for skiers and nature enthusiasts alike.
What more can be said, other than this is a great way to spend a few hours during the summer at Whistler. The tickets may seem a bit pricey, but the experience is worthwhile. We purchased the Summer Alpine Experience Ticket, and boarded at Whistler Village Gondola, which took us to the large Roundhouse Lodge at 1850m, where we walked for 10 minutes down a rough gravel path to board the Peak Express chair. After the steep (and possibly for some, a bit frightening) 4-person chairlift ascent we took in the excellent views, found a Geocache, and marvelled at the engineering of the Cloudraker Skybridge. After that it was a trip across to Blackcomb on the 4.4 km Peak2Peak gondola (world’s longest unsupported span for a lift like this) and a trip back down on the Blackcomb gondola. Some tips: Toilets are available on all peaks. Check the peak webcams before you go to ensure visibility is good up top. Wear good footwear if planning to walk around on the peaks, and wear hiking boots/shoes if walking down the well-maintained paths. If you want to take a glass-bottomed Peak2Peak gondola, be prepared to wait a bit because not all gondolas come equipped. Finally, lift closing times are prominently posted at the bottom and top of each hill. Have fun!
David R — Google review
The ride itself was beautiful, but the trails on Blackcomb made it even better – fresh air, great views, easy trail. A must do activity if visit there.
Feng Z — Google review
Fantastic views and definitely worth the time spent exploring the mountains.
Tim B — Google review
What an experience, wow! You get at least 1500ft in the air as you transfer from Whistler to Blackcomb or vice versa. Such a fun experience! The gondola itself is huge, fits like 20 plus people and their skis/snowboards. Super fun and scenic, would 100% recommend.
Thomas B — Google review
This is really a place worth visiting. For hiking, after getting down from the Sky Bridge, heading straight down to hike is much easier than starting from the other side. But it's best to buy tickets online in advance, If you plan to hike at the top, be mindful of the closing time of the gondola .
Sophia J — Google review
Peak to Peak Gondola at Whistler - A Must-Do Experience The Peak to Peak Gondola at Whistler is absolutely breathtaking and a must-do for anyone visiting the area. The ride itself is incredibly smooth and comfortable, making it easy to relax and take in the stunning views. Stretching between Whistler and Blackcomb mountains, the gondola offers a one-of-a-kind perspective of the alpine scenery, with sweeping vistas of snow-capped peaks, dense forests, and the valley far below. The panoramic windows give you unobstructed views, and if you're lucky enough to snag a spot in one of the glass-bottom cabins, it’s a whole other level of awe-inspiring. Whether you're a skier, snowboarder, or just there to enjoy the scenery, the gondola is a perfect way to experience the beauty of Whistler. It’s not just transportation—it’s an unforgettable part of the adventure. Highly recommend!
Jeffrey H — Google review
This is the first time I've taken a gondola from one mountain to another, with a super wide span with no ground support! Even though we did not take the glass bottom gondola, you can clearly see how high up you are in the middle, between the two mountains! What an experience! Oh, and the views were great, of course. You can see all the mountains, glaciers and lakes around the area, and really appreciate this secret land!
Leonard L — Google review
The mountain 🏔️ is beautiful, the lifts and gondolas are amazing. Unfortunately most of the staff is lackadaisical and the 3 PM closing time for ridiculous lift ticket prices is just too much to stomach. At 2:58 PM the staff is closing down the line and one staff member told me he had to go home and drink beer 🍺 so that's why he was closing up now..... unbelievable. Another guy let us get on the lift at 3:17 PM, he was a rock star all day. IMO Vail Resorts has taken away from how awesome Whistler used to be.

It was a great experience flying with them. We took the Spectacular Glacier Seaplane Tour. They were friendly, punctual, and maintained their planes well. I appreciated that they cleaned every window after landing for the best viewing experience. It felt safe throughout the journey. Flying between the mountains felt amazing. The nature in Whistler is world-class. I highly recommend it.

Absolutely unforgettable experience! The airplane ride through the mountains was breathtaking — stunning views at every turn. Whistler Interpretive Forest, located at Cheakamus Crossing, is a stunning area featuring the beautiful turquoise Cheakamus River. The forest offers an extensive network of hiking and biking trails along the river, including the Riverside and Farside trails connected by bridges. Covering 3,000 hectares, this diverse forest provides rewarding hikes with educational trails showcasing various landscapes, wildlife habitats, and interpretive boards detailing local flora, fauna, geology, and history.
A nice place for a hike in October. The temperatures are cooler and there is less crowds along with the changing colours of autumn. Start at the main parking lot with the riverside trail then transfer to the Ridge trail which will meet up with the crater rim trail. The crater rim trail is the best with several good view points in different directions. the trail go around the ridge of an extinct volcano and goes down to the loggers lake. It is also the most difficult trail as it is steep in places. The effort is rewarded with good views. After a rest at loggers lake return to the parking via the riverside trail with a stop at the suspension bridge.

With picnic tables and open green spaces, it's also a popular venue for special events.
Lovely and welcoming park with lots of picnic tables. In the wintertime, there are massive and majestic illuminated animals set up in the park. With the Covered Bridge and the icy blue waters of Fitzsimmons Creek beside Rebaglati Park, it's a great spot to visit.

Rebagliati Park in Whistler is a fascinating destination with a rich history and unique cultural significance. Named after Ross Rebagliati, the celebrated snowboarder who won the first-ever Olympic gold medal in snowboarding at the 1998 Winter Olympics, the park is a tribute to his remarkable achievement. Over the years, Rebagliati Park has also become synonymous with the 420 movement, reflecting Ross's well-known advocacy for cannabis. This dual legacy makes the park a compelling visit for both sports enthusiasts and those interested in the evolving cannabis culture. The park itself is a tranquil and scenic spot, ideal for relaxation and reflection. It's a must-see for anyone visiting Whistler, offering a blend of athletic history and modern cultural relevance.

This is where I go when temperatures reach above 30 degrees Celsius. This park is a secret gem on a hot day. The nearby Fitzsimmons creek acts like a natural air conditioner. They were very easy to book with their communication was herb and professional, and they always got back to us quickly with any questions we had. PLUS Dennis was the best helicopter pilot for our group. He was easy to contact always on time extremely professional and a lot of fun.! Thank you for making our weekend camping experience so much easier with your transport and professionalism

We originally booked with No Limits for our elopement which went ahead without the heli component due to bad weather but the team at No Limits were great with communication leading up to our elopement day letting us know it would most likely be unlikely we could go ahead that day but offered lots of supportive advice for alternative options. We ended up going up in the helicopter with our pilot Dennis a few days after our elopement and he showed us so many incredible places in the Squamish area and we ended up landed at Lake Lovely Water which he had recommended and it was SO special. We shared the experience with Dennis and 2 of our friends and the general comment was that it was one of the best experiences of all of our lives. Thank you Dennis and the office team for being so great to communicate with throughout the journey leading up to the trip and for making it so special for us. Would definitely recommend for elopements or a special occasion! Thanks Dennis!

We bought a beautiful piece which we took there and then. Highly recommend. Very friendly, professional and helpful.

Nice selection of refined artwork. Located on the village stroll. Enjoyed stopping in to browse. Lots of variety of art styles.

We were visiting Whistler from Victoria this past week and when we travel we always make it a priority to visit a local art gallery. I can say confidently that this one is one of our all time favourites. If you are planning on visiting Whistler, I highly recommend you take the time to go see the Plaza Gallery. The gallery was filled with vibrant, beautiful art from artists local and far. I was very impressed while viewing the different pieces on display. The sales associate that we spoke to was incredibly knowledgeable, very friendly and she seemed to genuinely enjoy showing us different pieces and sharing information about those pieces and about the gallery with us. It was time well spent and next time we are back in Whistler we plan on coming back home with a piece or two from one of the talented local artists. 10/10!

When visiting Whistler via the Sea to Sky Highway, make sure to take in the impressive Stawamus Chief Mountain. This granite monolith is a testament to how stone shapes the local landscape. Fathom Stone Art Gallery is dedicated to showcasing the beauty and craftsmanship of stone art. The gallery features elegant designs made from various high-quality stones such as jade, alabaster, and onyx, many of which are inspired by British Columbia's natural landscapes.
What an incredible experience for my art-loving kids at the Fathom Stone Art Gallery, located on level 1 of the Westin Resort & Spa hotel. During the stone carving class, Jon was incredibly patient, generously sharing his experience and many technical stone-carving techniques. He also had on hand all the equipment under the sun required to carve the desired details into the soap stone. What an incredible memory my kids will enjoy for many many years to come ❤️. The art gallery itself also included beautiful works by many different local artists. If you're nearby, or love sculptures I highly recommend a visit! Thank you Jon!!

We signed up for the sandstone carving class and Jon was so accommodating and experienced from start to finish. I loved talking to him, it went by too fast. My daughter was so happy with finished piece of jewelry. Thank you so much!

Gorgeous gallery!! Awesome collection of carvings, sculptures and jewelry. Jon is extremely knowledgeable and professional. My daughter took a stone class... she told everyone she encoutered how excited she was beforehand, and raved about it after! Besides her beautiful creation, Jon helped her quickly turn a simple rock into a pendant she's so proud of. We'll be checking in again on our next Whistler trip for certain!

Terrific experience with artist & instructor Jon, for my Stone Carving Class. An extensive selection of carving tools combined with Jon's engaging instruction made for a great afternoon. Highly recommended for both kids and adults!

Unexpected highlight of our ski trip was carving our own Inukshuk! John was awesome and while it wasn’t always easy the process is so rewarding. Weirdly, I think theirs may be one of the highlights of out trip!

Our kids had a great time taking the stone carving art class with John. He was a great instructor and very attentive to all their questions and curiosities. A memorable 2 hour spent learning and creating custom art pieces that they took home.
Gurtoj S — Google review
The soapstone classes with Jon were recommended by a friend and so my daughters and I chose the carved Innushuk class. This was the highlight in an awesome trip to Whistler. Jon was super patient as he explained the process to my kids and they loved every second of it. The class was meant to be 2 hours - the girls and I were so engrossed that we took closer to 4 hours, but Jon never once hurried us along. We all ended up with totally unique mementos of our time there and they can’t wait to come back and carve an animal. Highly recommend these classes for anyone who is wanting a cool creative experience.

I had a soap stone carving session with Jackson today and it was fantastic. He was so helpful and encouraging through the process and gave me confidence that my sculpture would be great. It turned out super! Was a great indoor activity! Highly recommend.

Florence Petersen Park is a large accessible playground and play area in addition to a community park with lawn, ice skating rink in winter, and walking paths. The park is popular for both its accessibility and its variety of amenities.
A serene forested walk right by the main attractions road at Whistler. You can find tall trees, comfortable seating, interesting signage to read. Although the paths are not very long, it’s a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of the stores nearby and have a peaceful moment in nature.

Beautiful little walking paths between all the restaurants and stores. My kids love exploring the little trails, there was even a great book"Sometimes I Feel Like A Fox" by author Danielle Daniel with its pages laminated and hanging from the trees, they loved searching for all the pages and different animals.

Beautiful park located next to Whistler Plaza. Perfect to go for a little stroll to cool off. There is a story walk for kids.

I attended Kerry Langlois solo exhibition “ The Space in Between “ . Kerry used acrylic and canvas on her work. The subjects are mostly mountains and trees in different seasons. She depicted the changes of seasons through colours and sceneries..

Whistler's best art gallery! Adele Campbell represents a broad range of Canadian artists with an equally broad range of styles. The art is accessible and beautiful and there is something for everyone. We have many pieces from here and have been a loyal customer for over a decade. The owner is incredibly knowledgable and has personal relationships with all of her artists. The staff are also very knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. The gallery never feels stuffy or pretentious and is a MUST VISIT for everyone when they come to Whistler.
Tony H — Google review
I visit the Adele Campbell Gallery every time I am in Whistler. I've purchased art in the gallery and over the phone after seeing something I fell in love with online. The owner, Elizabeth, is extremely knowledgable and helpful. She was able to show us how the art would look in our home, by taking a picture of our room and digitally hanging the art in it. The service is above and beyond, and the experience is something I want time and time again when making such a personal purchase. Thanks again!

Every January, the Whistler Pride and Ski Festival transforms this stunning mountain resort into a vibrant celebration of diversity and winter sports. Beyond skiing, attendees can indulge in an array of thrilling activities such as heli-skiing, snowshoeing, ice-climbing, and even bobsledding on an Olympic track. The festival also features engaging events like the Rainbow Ski-Out parade and various parties that embrace 2SLGBTQIA+ culture.
They want our cash but put bare minimum in. Thursday Tea Dance 2025 was an embarrassment globally. $60 to get access to a room with $30 drinks and awful music that no one could dance to. People expect something for their hard earned cash. Save it.

The organization is deplorable. No communication. Events just canceled without even a NOTICE! This event used to be so much fun now it seems like they don't even care about it anymore!
