The PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola in Whistler is a breathtaking experience that connects the stunning Whistler and Blackcomb mountains. This remarkable gondola, which opened in 2008, holds the title of being the longest and tallest lift globally, stretching an impressive 4.3 kilometers (2.7 miles) between Whistler's Roundhouse and Blackcomb's Rendezvous Lodge at an elevation of 2,133 meters (7,000 feet).

Vallea Lumina offers an enchanting evening adventure in the old forest of Cougar Mountain, just a 20-minute drive from Whistler. This magical night walk uses video, lighting, sound, and special effects to bring the natural landscape to life as visitors search for a hidden valley along a brightly lit pathway. The experience is suitable for all ages and changes with the seasons, making it a great activity for families.
Wow! A very cool experience! I won't tell you what you will be doing because I don't want to ruin the experience. However, be prepared for a bit of a hike. Wear comfortable footwear (I do suggest hiking shoes) bring a raincoat or slicker (just in case it's raining) No umbrellas allowed as it could ruin the overall experience. Go and check it out.
Shawn D — Google review
The Vallea Lumina was awesome! Such a unique experience that you simply cannot miss! It is a little dark but all the lights instantly make up for it. That being said, if you are deathly afraid of the dark, maybe some of their day time activities is a better fit for you. On top of that it is a moderate hiking trail with a few ups and downs. Don’t worry you won’t get lost but if those aren’t a problem for you I highly recommend this magical experience!!
Zareen N — Google review
Easy to get to and absolutely magical! The light show felt like a dream, and don’t forget to look up — the sky is full of stars 🌟 Some areas can get very dark, so be careful while walking. The experience isn’t rushed, which makes it even more enjoyable. The staff are incredibly nice and friendly. Bryson even took cute photos of us at the end. Worth the trip — a must go!
Queenie C — Google review
An interesting experience. If you aren’t sure footed - this walk in the dark with the lights along the way may not be your thing. The sparkling lights at the creek close to the end were the highlight of course.
Eric B — Google review
What a great experience! It was more than what we had expected! You get engaged into this mystical adventure the minute you get on the trails. The storyline about missing hikers, the lights and the trees are magical. The team of rangers were amazing making it such a fun night for our group. We highly recommend Vallea Lumina to anyone visiting Whistler.
Jacques G — Google review
Sooooooo worth. Go on a clear night and you’ll be able to see the brightest stars. The stars are barely visible from Whistler village. We took our time walking around (wait ~15 for the crowd to pass) and were able to walk by ourselves for a significant portion of the trail. Arrived at 9:45pm and left on the second to last shuttle at 11:30ish, but most people will only take one hour.
Anita L — Google review
I’ve seen this is in the winter before but the Fall course offered an awesome new adventure trail with a few inclines, a view of the stars, a beautiful story and stunning lighting effects. The haunted trail was also a creative touch! Highly recommend doing both!
Tanya B — Google review
Such a spectacular experience. We will opt for this than Disneyland 10 out of 10 times simply because: 1. The day pass give you try so many things and you can easily spend a day here. 2. No stress of lining up, using the app, fast pass and etc for premium price by items 3. It perfectly blended nature into the story telling and feels like magical 4. Staff are all super friendly, international and knowledgeable. Our guide name is Nat and our instructor for the AOC is Charlie! Both are simply lovely

The Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre is a modern facility that showcases the rich cultural heritage of the Squamish and Lil'wat Nations. Designed by renowned First Nations architect Alfred Waugh, the center serves as a repository for artifacts and historical documents while also educating visitors about the art, culture, and storytelling traditions of these two distinct nations.
My friends and I recently visited this beautiful cultural centre in Whistler. Aside from the space being bright and inviting, the exhibits were really interesting. We were just in time for a short walking tour that started after a short video in the theater. I recommend watching the video and taking the tour as the lovely lady provided additional information about the exhibits that was very interesting. Two young gentlemen performed a song with drumming that I sat and listened to and found absolutely enchanting. I even got a bit emotional listening to them. The First Nation appreciation of the Earth and nature is something that I truly admire and appreciate. I highly recommend coming to this cultural centre on your visit to Whistler.
Samara G — Google review
Highly recommend you visit this cultural centre when in Whistler. We had lunch on arriving as we had just been up the Peak-to-Peak gondola and needed a rest! The salmon Chowder with bannock (a sort of fried bread roll) was absolutely fabulous. We then joined the tour (starts in the hour). A young man played a drum and sang a traditional song - beautiful and quite moving. Followed by a short video and a guided tour - really helpful to understand the lifestyle, culture and skills if the two tribes (Lil’wat and Squamish).
Martin G — Google review
We decided to check it out on a Sunday morning and it was a really good experience! It’s well managed with detailed instructions and descriptions of the Squamish Lil’wat peoples, who have a long history in the area. They have guided tours that are included in the ticket but you can also do a self-guided tour if you’d like. There are two floors, with the upper floor opening up to an open forest area, which was a highlight for me. It’s a forest walk which helps you understand the significance of trees, animals and all things nature in their culture. Must visit! 5/5
Akash B — Google review
Get here. Soak in the story of this place. Watch the introductory video, then meander through 2 floors of exquisite exhibits. Visit the lodge, and the pit house. Take your time. Then look outside, and feel the history made here. Buy a memento or two in the tasteful (not tacky) gift shop, and finish with a coffee and light dessert. You’ll be glad you came. ❤️
Kathleen T — Google review
What a wonderful experience at Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre tour. Amazing exhibition and lot of learning during the tour. Outside of walking hill with full of Medison nature of forest west coast region. You must visit this beautiful and educational Cultural Center in Whistler.
Yun — Google review
We were able to join one of the tours (on the top of the hour) and had such a good experience. I don't think we would have learned as much just reading the signs. I found particularly impressive for how long people used to work on their traditional clothing - as well as all the things that can be made with cedar. The building is beautiful and the exhibits are quite interesting, you can see canoes, regalia, stories, building structure, and learn about the language. There is also a nice gift shop with native art and a café to relax.
Petra N — Google review
Very much enjoyed the cultural center and learning about the Squamish and Lil’wat cultures. The building is stunning, the displays are very interesting and the film is a definite must. The young staff members did a great job on the tours.

Bodies of Water
Lost Lake is a stunning mountain lake near Whistler, perfect for a variety of outdoor activities. It's a popular spot for swimming, sunbathing, and fishing, with floating docks scattered throughout the lake. The area offers hiking and biking trails as well as skiing in the winter months. Locals love to visit this secluded oasis to relax or enjoy activities like Frisbee golf and sightseeing on the nearby ski hill.
Beautiful lake with a lot of picnic tables and a nice loop to walk around. The time that we went, we saw a bunch of tadpoles by the water’s edge and can just imagine all the wildlife that this lake supports. The parking lot is not very big but the lake is walkable from Whistler Village. There are lots of plant life to check out as you walk around the lake. Canine Cove is a place where you can let your dogs out onto the waters for a swim. The beach is nice and sandy and has a few logs to sit at. You can park and lock your bike at many of the bike stations available as well as a single person changing room for changing your swimming attire in the summer. There is also a concession stand open during the warmer months.
May Z — Google review
Not sure why online say no parking...but there like 10 spots + free parking (this was during 2025/April22) they have Evo ebike too! Super lovely area and great for paddleboard too!
Scott T — Google review
Lovely lake, easy to find from Whistler / Blackcomb village and easy to walk around. Clearly marked trails to navigate further afield, including either back into town or up to Green Lake for a longer walk away from the main centre.
Oliver C — Google review
What a great place to hike, bike ride, kayak, and picnic! The main trails are wide and well maintained, with beautiful views of the lake. The picnic areas are large with lots of grass and some picnic tables. The restrooms at the park entrance are clean. Parking is a bit limited and there is no RV parking available in the main lot. Wonderful place to spend quiet time by yourself or with family and friends.
Roni W — Google review
Small beach area full of kids and families. There is a dock in the middle of the lake you can swim to. Washrooms and a concession stand. Great bike trails all around, the ones to the lake are not paved. Short walk from main Whistler village.
Shawn — Google review
Always lovely to visit, 4 seasons tranquility. This time I loved the toad migration traffic closures, so considerate!

If you are in Whistler, you need to visit Lost Lake. The trailhead to go towards lost lake is walkable from the whistler village. It’s a short trail that takes you to the main lake beach and you can continue to loop around the lake. We met a lot of folks on the lake and trail so it’s a popular spot if you prefer hiking around the people. Also met a lot of dogs so it seems like a dog loved spot!! There were clean restrooms at the main beach.

From gentle green trails to advanced technical descents and long-distance routes, there's something for everyone. Additionally, the park offers cross-country single-track trails that wind through picturesque landscapes like lakeshores and temperate rainforests.
By far the BEST mountain bike park. Everything about the bike park is great. The food, it can use improvement. I mean there really isn’t a grab and go there. Sometimes you want a sandwich but The closest thing is the grocery store but it’s a ways from the lifts.

This year was my second time visiting with my teenage son. The bike park is absolutely exhilarating. While there are green runs it's my opinion this is not for beginners. The park is designed for mountain bikers with developed skills.
Dean F — Google review
Well they call it best park/area for mountainbiking for a reason! So many trails, so much variety. Impossible to not have a good time 😄 Need to come back!
Nina P — Google review
The park is really well built with something for most riders! Great mixture of jump trails and technical trails. There are some really cool trails that incorporate some wooden bridges! The line-ups not so great, expect long waits most weekends!
Nicholas A — Google review
For mountainbikes the facilities at Whistler are an outstanding place to be and should be high on the to-do list. For travellers who haven't brought their bike there are a good range of shops hiring bikes to suit all riders. I recommend booking in advance. Expect to pay around $140-180 depending on that type of bike. The downhill sections are outstanding in the bike park and cater to all levels of skill. If you're a mountain biker then a visit should be a priority.

Whistler Olympic Plaza is a vibrant hub of activity in Whistler, offering something for everyone. The plaza features an inclusive playground with structures designed to resemble a coastal forest, providing endless entertainment for kids. During the winter, visitors can enjoy skating on the exclusive rink surrounded by twinkling lights. The plaza also hosts free outdoor concerts and performances in the summer, making it a lively destination year-round.
If you want to avoid the crowds, there are plenty of seats where you can sit and relax with a cup of coffee, and I brought my cat out to sunbathe in the fresh air. There are excellent views of the mountains.

Make sure to buy a gondola from Heesler and go up. It's worth going up without skiing, and it's really beautiful and magnificent. It was in mid-April when we went, but the snow was piled up overhead. It was crazy beautiful and reminded me of Interlaken in Switzerland. I strongly recommend you to visit one.
M P — Google review
The Whistler Olympic Plaza is gorgeous, no matter which season you're visiting Whistler. We visited on January 1st and were delighted with the space. There's a large snowy area for kids to play, and a lovely complimentary outdoor ice rink. I miss the outdoor firepits, but I can imagine they weren't great for the environment. Fantastic outdoor water and public bathroom facilities.

This olympic village in Whistler is a viewers delight. All branded stores are present along with restaurants offering world cuisine.

A nice place to sit and have coffee while the kids enjoy the excellent playground. Lots of food options and two different coffee shops too. There are often events or concerts but other times, especially in the morning it is very quiet. There are excellent views of the mountains. Wow!

Just like our traditional after we moved to BC. We came to visit this place on family day weekend every year for skate and the kids had so much fun because they loved snow. A lot of restaurants and shops for you to visit so convenient for washrooms and parking spot everywhere around. The playground where my daughters never wanted to leave. So see you again next year

Hiking area
Train Wreck is a popular local favorite hike near Whistler Village, starting at Cheakamus Crossing. The trail follows the scenic Cheakamus River and leads to abandoned train cars transformed into an art installation. It's a relatively easy hike suitable for families and beginners, with the option to connect to a larger network of trails for those seeking more challenge. The site offers great photo opportunities of the graffiti-covered train wreckage, making it a must-see attraction in the Whistler area.
Awesome short hike to see something really unique! I thought I wasn't going to be impressed doing this hile because I already saw so many pictures, but it was totally worth it and a ton of fun to explore! If you are capable, take the trail called Trash in, which goes along the river and it a lot more exciting.
Jenny C — Google review
This trail walk won’t disappoint! Yes, there are elevations, but the distance is manageable, and there are spots to pause along the route. I found the scenery to be breathtaking, and a bit magical as you approached the rapids and could hear the water gurgling in the distance. I walked the suspension bridge! (Which I considered a success for someone who is not fond of heights.) But the span was short. The scenery was pretty, the environment soothing, and though I walked alone, there were many people entering or leaving the area, if I had required help (being of a certain vintage.) I will say it was a little daunting to see the bear warning sign at the entry, but I pushed through and I’m glad I did. The trail floor is hard packed, but has many twists and turns and you share the route with mountain bikers - so be aware. I did notice one young family with a child. They were determinedly pulling a camping wagon, and I was not certain I would’ve attempted that! Have a look at the photos and enjoy. This is a nice spot for a bright day hike as it can be very shady and shadowed through parts of the trail. The “Train Wreck” story itself is part of the experience, so do read the posted sign!
Kathleen T — Google review
Good comfortable walk to the suspension bridge. The train wreck, located on the other side, has a very poignant feel about it. Train cars strewn about a large area, all covered in bright graffiti. Information boards tell the story. After crossing back across the bridge take the trail to the left and walk along the river back to the parking for awesome river views.
Elaine K — Google review
Pretty easy hike (not completely flat but still easy enough with a decent stroller), and it's relatively scenic in terms of the greenery, the suspension bridge, and the river. There are a couple of parking lots near the start of the trail and it's only ~10 minutes drive from Whistler. Definitely worth checking out!
F W — Google review
A Unique Blend of Urban Art and Natural Beauty! The Train Wreck Trail in Whistler is one of those special places where industrial history and vibrant creativity collide in the middle of the forest. It’s a must-visit for anyone who loves street art, photography, or just exploring something totally unique. The trail itself is an easy, pleasant walk, and the reward at the end is absolutely worth it: a collection of old train cars covered from top to bottom in ever-changing, colorful graffiti. Every surface tells a story, and it’s a photographer’s dream. The addition of the suspension bridge along the way adds a fun, slightly thrilling element to the adventure with a beautiful view of the river below. A quick but important note for fellow hikers: we saw signs warning about bears in the area, especially during berry season. It’s crucial to be bear aware—make noise as you walk, carry bear spray, and know what to do if you have an encounter (stay calm, don't run!). It’s their home, and we’re just visiting. This is a fantastic, free activity that’s different from your typical mountain hike. Highly recommend for a fun and memorable few hours!
Daniel Z — Google review
A really fun spot near Whistler where you can hike a short trail, cross a suspension bridge, and explore old abandoned trains. The path is gravel with a few ups and downs, so good shoes are recommended. You’ll find several train cars in different positions. Overall, it’s a unique and fun adventure worth checking out if you’re in the area.
Somayeh A — Google review
I have always loved this place. Went in the winter and this summer 2025. It’s such a nice walk, and you get to experience crossing a suspension bridge. Hidden and nestled in the backside of Whistler but it’s a must see for everyone. I brought my dog with me this summer. Oh and it’s FREE
Anne I — Google review
Heard a lot about this trail before coming to the Squamish area, and it definitely lives up to the hype! It’s an easy and worthwhile stop right off the highway, offering a cool mix of forest, roaring white water, and a graffiti-covered train wreck — a striking contrast between nature and human art. Take the “Trash In” route if you want a bit more challenge and fun on your way to the wreck. The suspension bridge was my favorite part — scenic, peaceful, and a great spot for photos. Once you reach the site, it’s fascinating to explore the old train cars and see the original wood and metal details up close. One downside: in some areas near the wreck, the smell of fresh spray paint can be quite strong — at one point it was so overbearing and nauseating that I had to step away, feeling a bit lightheaded. Despite that, it’s still a unique, creative, and memorable short hike that captures the wild and artistic spirit of Squamish.

Bubly Tube Park, situated in the Base 2 Zone on Blackcomb Mountain in Whistler, offers an exciting snow activity for families and individuals. It provides a thrilling experience of sliding down snowy slopes using rubber inner tubes, making it perfect for those who want to enjoy the snow without skiing or snowshoeing. The park features multiple lanes and a tube conveyor lift to easily bring riders back up to the top for endless fun.
Great activity for any age group and level of expertise. Easily accessible from the whistler village center ( free ride from the excalibur gondola). You can get a 1 or 2 hr pass. One hour is enough to go through the slide a few times ( if there isn’t wait).
Akanksha V — Google review
The Bubbly Tube Park is a fun spot and a great way to spend time with kids! The lanes are fast and exciting—some might even feel a bit scary, even for adults. However, keep in mind that buying tickets online in advance doesn’t guarantee entry. You still need to arrive early, wait in line, and exchange them for physical tickets, which can be frustrating. Plan ahead and give yourself extra time for a smooth experience.
Alina M — Google review
Nice place top of the mountains to do tubing. They open 11 but unfortunately they were little late to open the place due to some kind of issue. Overall their stuff were kind and helpful. Very nice place to be in outdoors. Weekends can get full and you may drive and not be able to slide and parking on weekends is good luck. Try weekdays to skip the overcrowding.
Tony S — Google review
Whistler's ice tubing park is an exhilarating experience for both kids and adults. Nestled in the picturesque surroundings, it offers a perfect blend of excitement and natural beauty. The recent snowfall enhances the thrill, turning the tubing adventure into a winter wonderland delight. The location's suitability for families is commendable, with various tubing lanes catering to different age groups. What sets this park apart is the stamina-testing aspect – the brisk downhill slides demand both physical effort and skill. The carefully designed lanes ensure a safe yet thrilling ride, making it accessible for all levels of adventure seekers. The staff's attention to safety measures provides a reassuring environment for families. The ambiance is festive, creating a joyful atmosphere that resonates with the holiday spirit. The sound of laughter and cheers fills the air as participants zoom down the slopes, creating lasting memories. In conclusion, Whistler's ice tubing park is a fantastic destination for those seeking an adrenaline rush in a winter paradise. The recent snowfall enhances the experience, making it a must-visit for families looking to create cherished memories together.

A great time for all ages. Our 5 year old had a blast with all the different runs and I was impressed at how smooth the ride was. The black diamond runs were plenty fast for adults to get a thrill! We went on a Tuesday so the lines were very short too!

A fun activity for the family. Quite expensive for tubing, was over $100 for 2 adults and a 5yo. There are plenty of runs so not too long to wait. The longest queue is getting through the staff member scanning every ticket every time you go through, a slow process so the queue backs up. Great to have some black runs as well as the basic ones. The staff at the top were really friendly. There is no where to get water or a drink, the van for refreshments hadn't opened on a monday by 1pm when we left, so there really needs to be a drink machine to be able to buy water, as it's a long walk to the tube travelator and lots of kids were exhausted and looking for water. Overall a fun thing to do.

A good place to go if you want to have fun. We purchased an hour session. We had two double tube rides and two single tube rides. Better to be there minutes after it opens, so you can avoid Line ups and you can have more tubing experiences. The only minor con is that you have more walk going to the tube after the gondola ride dropped off at mid section. Walking on the stairs and on the tubing platform. But overall, I did enjoy it!

Awesome place to spend time with family for tubing and skiing. Well maintained and not so pricey. Parking available by the location and it’s free. Tubing was around 28$ for an hour and less than 40 for 2 hours. There are 7 lanes of which lanes 5,6,7 are thrilling. The other lanes are also good. Washroom is available by the ticket counter. There will be a possible wait time if you are walking in to the location. Enjoyed the time there. Lots of photo opportunities.

The Whistler Museum is a must-visit destination for history enthusiasts. Located near Whistler Village, it offers a fascinating collection of local artifacts, media, and documents that showcase the town's dramatic evolution and natural landscape in interactive displays. The museum features quirky exhibits including an original 1965 ski-lift gondola and a 2010 Olympic torch, highlighting the creation of the renowned skiing destination and its role in hosting the 2010 Winter Olympic Games.
The Whistler Museum is located next to the Whistler Library and is a great place to visit to learn about Whistler’s history as well as the 2010 Winter Olympics held there. You can touch a bear hide, look more closely at pinecones, and learn about what Whistler was like in the past. Accessible entrance ramp to enter. There is a small gift shop at the entrance. Suggested donation is $5.

Adorable creative local community museum, made with big Love and respect to the history of Whistler and people who built it. Strongly recommend.

Great experience! Game a few times during my stay here, cool place to come and learn they have videos you can watch and it’s cool to see the history!
AJ E — Google review
I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff, Olympic representation, amazing people (particularly the women who were highlighted), snow sports in general and Natural History shared within such a small space. They have something for everyone. From an old gondola, passes through the years, a fridge full of retro stickers, funny outrageous photos, and colorful adventurous characters defying cultural norms (loved the stories of women!). This museum's history is mostly within a short period of time. (I'm sure this was taken seriously in how it was shared but) it was surprising how little First Nations People were mentioned. Definitely go to the Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre as well. I recall this being the library when I used to live here in 2004-2005. 😆 Great use of space!
Andrea A — Google review
Such a fun little spot! Way more to see than I expected. Got to touch real beaver and black bear fur (so soft!), and the wolf, bird, and marmot displays were super cool. Just one small thing—the wolf is gorgeous, but it’s facing the corner instead of the walkway. Would’ve loved to see its face properly! Most of the exhibits are hands-on—rocks, animal bones, even a gondola you can hop into. For a small museum, there’s a surprising amount to explore. Staff were lovely, displays were fun, and it’s the perfect quick stop in Whistler. Left with a big smile!
Amy W — Google review
The museum was small, and smelled musky, but was pack with information regarding native species, first settlers and 2010 Winter Olympics. I spent 10 minutes in there.

Lovely little museum. It’s small and tucked around the corner by the library. It’s really not huge so you can walk around it fairly quickly but entry is by way of donation (they suggest $5). We had no problem paying that. Gives a nice history of Whistler, from its early days, through to the Winter Olympics being held there in 2010.
Carlos U — Google review
Such a neat little museum by donation. It tells the history of Whistler, has interactive exhibits, and you can hold a 2010 Olympic torch while wearing a medal. That was cool. There are taxidermy birds and a wolf, and an old gondola/ski lift chair you can sit in too.

It boasts the world's fastest ice track at nearly 1.5 kilometers in length. Visitors can tour the state-of-the-art venue or partake in thrilling passenger bobsleigh and skeleton rides, reaching speeds of up to 78mph (125kph).
Amazing experience!!! Ride a bobsled! Feel like an Olympian!!! Well organized, knowledgeable staff and super efficient!! The only downside is that it’s only one-ride. Highly recommended.

This was amazing! I was so nervous at first, but it really is a once in a lifetime opportunity! I’m so glad that I got to do it with my 12 year-old son. Everyone was very nice there and very helpful. Thank you!

Had a great time. The staff was great , from the orientation to the pilots. Loved the track walk and the experience. Loved the boost in speed as we got close to the end.
Thomas W — Google review
My family toured the centre in August, simply because a facility like this is rare and unique (and my family likes the movie Cool Runnings). It's free to go into the main building and to the track. The centre is located up a windy hill and walking wasn't recommended by the tourist Visitor Centre so we took a cab that was $10 each way. The main building has a bobsled you can jump into and a small display about the history of the spirt and the facility. There's another bobsled you can try outside as well as a section of the ammonia cooled track. It's a small walk up the hill into the track area and you can watch people on their runs. For the runs, you go with a random staff member, two of which were Olympians.

Hollering from actual mountains what an amazing experience Whistler Sliding Centre was!! All proceeds go back to the kids that are crazy enough to pursue this as a sport. ❤️❄️ Thank you for such an awesome night filled with WOWs and laughter!!! 🤘🏼

Absolutely loved our bobsled experience! Staff was super friendly and helpful. You start by being driven to the top of the track and walking down the first part of the track. Really interesting learning about how it all works. We even had a bear walk right past the track while we were on it! As a family of 4, we all fit into one sled with the instructor at the back. The ride was awesome. Super fast but felt safe and controlled. A fantastic experience. Go pro footage available for 29 dollars. Would definitely highly recommend, but next time I would book as two two's rather than a four. You can't really see much of the track as you go down if you're not at the front.
Chloe W — Google review
This was such a fun experience. Was fascinating and informative to walk the Olympic sliding track. You really get an understanding of what is involved in the three sliding sports and how fast they go. The actual ride (summer on wheels) is quick but you get the full feeling of what it is like to be on a bobsled. Highly recommend!
Mark L — Google review
While I generally don't care for rollercoasters and other adrenaline-junky activities, the summer bobsledding experience was something I just couldn't pass up during my time in Whistler. After it was all over, I was so glad I did it--what a rush! The staff at the Sliding Centre was great, keeping us calm and confident as we toured the track, donned our helmets, and pushed off from the start line. Our pilot, Peter, (a two-time Olympian and current coach) got us up to just under 90kph, clocking us in with the fastest time of the day. What a great opportunity to participate in such a unique sport! The videos, photos, and memories are things I'll cherish forever. Mike (London, ON)

Whistler Blackcomb is a renowned year-round resort offering a variety of activities such as skiing, snowboarding, biking, and more. It boasts over 8,000 acres and 200 trails across two mountains. Ski Magazine named it the best overall resort in North America in 2016. The charming Whistler Village provides world-class apres-ski cuisine and fine wines from the Okanagan Valley.
It had always been my dream to ski and snowboard whistler since I was a kid. These mountains did not disappoint. Amazing views on bluebird days, amazing snow on powder days. The runs are well kept and very fun. The lifts are well maintained and fast and the waits were never worse than 10 minutes in late January. The little town at the base has everything you would ever need and more. The restaurants and pubs are fantastic. The atmosphere is fun and exciting. I’d love to come back some day.

Gorgeous scenery. The drive up from Vancouver is worth the trip alone. Massive amounts of terrain. Great snow at the top of the mountain. Awful visibility mid mountain. Slushy at the bottom of the mountain. Village is really great. Went in March. I would definitely go again.
Josh C — Google review
I went during the summer and it was amazing. The scenery is breathtaking with so many hiking and biking trails to explore. Even without the snow the mountains are stunning and the village has a lot of shops, restaurants, and spots to just relax. Staff are friendly and the whole place is well maintained. Definitely a year round destination and one of the best resorts you can visit.
Val T — Google review
I had the chance to visit Blackcomb Whistler Ski last year, and it was truly one of the best experiences I’ve had on the slopes. The scenery is breathtaking, the facilities are excellent, and everything feels very well organized. That said, as a beginner, I found the runs a bit challenging. Even the green slopes felt more like blue ones compared to other ski resorts I’ve been to. Still, it was a great learning experience, and I’d definitely recommend it for those who are looking for both adventure and stunning mountain views. With a bit more practice, I’d love to go back and enjoy it even more!
Ugyen W — Google review
This place is a Dream destination for skiing! The snow quality is fantastic, white & powdery ,the slopes are well-groomed, and the scenery is absolutely stunning. Our full day here was worth spending. The management was also very good.

The Peak 2 Peak Gondola is an amazing experience; It starts at Whistler Mountain, takes you to Blackcomb Mountain, and from there you can take another gondola to a different peak before heading back down. The gondola between the peaks is huge, and the blue cabins have glass floors so you can see the valley below. At the top, there are restaurants and cafes, and you might spot Groundhogs. Even in summer, there’s snow and it’s cold, so be sure to bring warm clothes.
Amin A — Google review
Whistler Blackcomb is awesome. I love the fact you can ski during the winter and then buy a very affordable Epic pass to Access the trekking trails and gondola during the summer. Also the Sunday farmers markets are great! Visit "Cows" for the best mint chocolate chip ice cream ever (they have other flavours too if you don't fancy mint) and Portobello at the Fairmont for real belgian chocolate mochas & hot chocolates ! Whistler is dreamy indeed.
Jaipreet C — Google review
Whistler is an incredible place for both snowboarding and biking. I’ve visited in different seasons, and I’m always impressed by the staff, the facilities, and how well everything is maintained. There are lots of trails across both mountains, making it great for all levels—from beginners to pros. Safety is clearly a priority, with support staff always around. While the sports can be pricey, Whistler often has great deals and seasonal passes. I just wish there were more flexible options for frequent visitors. I love this place and will definitely keep coming back.

The Audain Art Museum, located in Whistler, British Columbia, showcases a diverse collection of art from the province's First Peoples to contemporary masters. The museum features an impressive array of First Nations masks, Emily Carr paintings, and works by renowned Canadian artists such as Jeff Wall and Rodney Graham.
Terrific art collection including west coast indigenous masks and carvings, Emily Carr, EJ Hughes, and more! Stunning architectural purpose built building. Well curated gift shop. Don't miss this gem while visiting Whistler.

Been waiting for exploring this great museum for 3 years haha! The permanent exhibition of indigenous First Nation mask collection from the great artist Beau Dick has been stunning! The current great photographer works of snowy mountain landscapes are awesome too! The architectural design of the whole museum itself is already somewhere you wanna just stay and read and relax in Whistler here! ❤️❤️🌷🌷👍👍

Our visit to the Audain Art Museum was a total pleasure. We’d never heard of the museum before and it was only because an acquaintance recommended a special exhibit, Gathered Leaves, that we decided to make the 2-hour drive from Vancouver to Whistler. We were amazed by the beautiful architecture of the museum building, simple and elegant and still stunning. We visited the Gathered Leaves exhibit and were impressed by the works displayed. These were sketches and drawings from the National Gallery of Canada, which included work by artists such as Degas, Munch, and older artists. We also visited the Permanent Collection which consumed another great and enjoyable amount of time. First Nations artwork and work by EJ Hughes and Gordon Smith captured our attention the most. Overall, this was a wonderful day and we strongly recommend the museum – plus, if you’re not a Whistler resident, you get to experience a fantastic drive along the coast!
Geoff G — Google review
We liked the architecture but the exhibits did not meet our expectations. The masks were really cool but we wanted more details and information on each individual mask. We felt there was a lot lacking.
Brinlie C — Google review
Audain Art Museum is a gem tucked into the forested edge of Whistler Village. The architecture alone is worth the visit—sleek, quiet, and perfectly in tune with the natural surroundings. Inside, the permanent collection is rich with Indigenous art, especially the stunning masks, and works by Emily Carr and other BC legends. It’s curated with care and feels deeply connected to the region’s artistic roots. On the downside, admission isn’t cheap, and while the space is beautiful, some temporary exhibits can feel a bit sparse depending on timing. Also, if you’re not into visual arts, it might feel like a quick walkthrough. Still, for anyone curious about BC’s cultural depth, it’s a peaceful and inspiring stop. Pair it with a stroll through the nearby trails for a full Whistler experience.

We took a rest day from skiing and visited this museum mid week. Audain is a high quality museum with an impressive primary collection. Of course there’s many First Nation pieces like interesting masks and bronze castings, but there’s also pieces from ground breaking BC artists like Emily Carr. The building is gorgeous and the wooded setting is a perfect match with the museum’s collections. We really enjoyed our visit!

Whistler Olympic Park, a legacy of the 2010 Winter Olympics, offers a variety of activities for visitors. The park features a network of hiking trails and summits in the picturesque Callaghan Valley. In addition to cross-country skiing experiences during winter, there are also summer bobsleigh lessons available at the Sliding Centre. For those seeking an extra challenge, the Olympic Shooting Range offers biathlon and target shooting.
We wanted to try out the snowshoeing at the Olympic Park and were not disappointed. For $12 we had access to well maintained trails and glorious views. For our first visit we chose the "walk with Giants" trail which is a moderately hard snowshoe through the forest of Doug Firs, Cedars and Hemlock. We emerged behind the Olympic ski-jump, to stunning views across the valley. We pretty much had the trail to ourselves, even though it was a Saturday in peak season. Ski patrol checked up on us and the staff at the lodge and the main gate were friendly and helpful. What a great day!

We were there on Thursday the 11th around 8:30 pm. It was closed, but a very kind lady still served us in a very pleasant and correct manner, helping us manage our needs even outside of business hours. Without her help, we probably wouldn't have been able to stay there. I will definitely return

Came here for snowshoeing in winter and tent camping in summer. Snowshoeing: definitely will come back as the views and trails were great. You share a bit of the path with the cross country skiers which are typical for snowshoeing. Tent camping: Only return if the other nearby campgrounds are not available. Lack of shades and the sites have no privacy at all. Nice lodge, showers and amenities. A couple hiking trails nearby and you can hike up to ski jump. When we were here in summer 2024, it seemed quiet hours were respected and enforced.

This is the site of the 2010 Nordic Olympic events. In the summer there is lots to do including hiking, biking, site seeing, biathlon (shooting), disc golf, pickleball, camping. It is a great place for kids and includes a unique climbing structure (playground). The day lodge has foosball, ping pong, board games, and comfy places to sit. A cafe is open all day with a wide variety of food and drinks. Gift store, too. Bring your bug spray and bug nets.
Erika Q — Google review
Regarding the multi-use campground: The place is awesome. The views, the bathrooms, the showers, the washroom, they're all top-of-the-line. The major problems are: the extremely small campsites, coupled with the people who have no regard for their neighbors. By 0600, our neighbor's alarm had gone off four times (I had to notify them their alarm was going off twice, after their alarm had gone off for more than five minutes), another neighbor (two or three spots down) had a very bad cough and we could clearly hear her up late, and early. Another's kid came into our camp after we went to bed and tripped over our tent stakes, I could very clearly hear people snoring. And lastly, our immediate neighbor's kid woke up early and could only speak at one volume (loud), despite repeated efforts from their father to get them to quiet down. Correction: The neighbor's alarm just went off for a fifth time - and the snorer is still going. I recommend going somewhere where people aren't camping on top of each other, you can get a good night's sleep, and you can actually enjoy nature.

Snowshoeing at Whistler Olympic Park is an unforgettable winter experience. The trails are beautifully maintained, winding through a serene landscape of towering evergreens and fresh, powdery snow. It’s peaceful, with just the crunch of your steps breaking the stillness, making you feel like you’re in your own winter wonderland. The highlight of the trek is Alexander Falls, and it’s nothing short of breathtaking. This towering, frozen cascade glistens under its snowy blanket, an absolute showstopper that feels like nature’s version of a grand finale. Standing there, surrounded by untouched wilderness, it’s impossible not to feel a sense of awe. Whether you’re new to snowshoeing or a seasoned pro, this park delivers a magical escape into nature. It’s not just a trek—it’s an experience that leaves you exhilarated, refreshed, and a little more connected to the winter world around you. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable adventure in Whistler.

The Whistler Public Library is a prime example of sustainable design and contemporary mountain architecture. Designed by Hughes Condon Marler and Associates, the library offers a bright, airy, and inviting environment that goes beyond traditional book-lending functionality. It hosts various free activities for both locals and visitors, including Parent/Infant Drop-ins, Preschool Story Time, Evening Meditation, and the Best Picture Movie Series. The Photography For Beginners program is particularly popular for budding photographers.
Love the Whistler Public Library. It’s so nice from the outside and the inside has so much resources available. Other than books, there are also many library programs to join, laptops to sign out, study areas, board games, and spaces for quiet reading. There are also some art throughout the library to check out. It was very peaceful when I went in and I enjoyed checking out the resources available.
May Z — Google review
I visited around lunchtime on a weekday, and the atmosphere was peaceful and quiet. There were a few people reading and studying, but it wasn’t crowded at all perfect for focusing. The interior was clean, well-organized, and felt welcoming. One of the best parts is that free Wi-Fi is available, so it’s a great place to bring your laptop and get some work done. There are seats by large windows with beautiful forest views, and quiet study zones are also available. There’s also a dedicated area for kids, making it a family-friendly spot. The displayed artwork and colorful decor add a warm and inviting touch. The building itself has a stylish and modern exterior. Right behind the library, there’s a small park great for a walk or a picnic after you’re done reading. Whether you’re visiting Whistler and need a cozy space to read, study, or get work done this library is a true hidden gem. 👉 한적하고 따뜻한 분위기의 휘슬러 도서관, 조용한 공간에서 집중하고 싶을 때 추천합니다.

What a cool library! A welcoming crosswalk. Cool architecture. Full of art and ideas. You can borrow a laptop and sit at a counter, a table, in a room or on the floor. I love the collection and the kid's section. Did I mention that there is a sewing room? A course would be a great way to learn how the machine works and a chance to learn about mending and making things!

A nice little library in an aesthetically built building. Feels heavenly during winter, watching the flurries and snow outside through the large windows. I won't call it very quiet, but the other factors make it a place worth spending a few spare hours you may have. If being among books sounds relaxing or fun to you, don't hesitate to drop in for a visit on your next Whistler trip.
Jithin C — Google review
Nice seating areas, beautiful design and outside scenery, but the experience? Just terrible. The staff don’t do anything to tell people to be quiet, which basically makes people just talk at whatever volume they want, there’s people on calls, kids screaming and crying, people talking at an outdoor level volume, it genuinely sounds like a restaurant. It’s so hard to focus on your work, reading etc. And the fact that there’s not a sound barrier between the kids area and the normal library is just ridiculous. This is a library for goodness sakes, it should be QUIET.
Elle F — Google review
The Whistler Public Library is one of my favourite spaces in Whistler! We are so fortunate to have an incredible space and team working to provide this community with social and cultural activities as well as a place to read, learn, study, relax, and gather. Early on in my Whistler experience living in crowded, high density housing I thought of the library as my "living room", a much needed place to escape to and the first place in town as a new arrival where I felt part of a community. Thank you for providing an inclusive and welcoming space. Check out their "unusual items" collection and events calendar if books aren't your thing! This place is incredible, thank you!!
Cara B — Google review
This is my favorite place in Whistler! I come to Whistler pretty often (mostly I'm just a driver for my husband, who's riding a bike), and when I want to have some quiet time and escape from the crowd I go to the library or even stay in that small, cute park behind the library. They also have a nice children's area with a small separate play/feeding room and a washroom.
Iuliia S — Google review
Got to be one of the loudest libraries in the world. There’s a children’s area far from the library but still inside with story times and such. But there’s also two very large conference rooms with doors that aren’t used for the children’s area and theres no doors on the children’s area. The doors of the conference rooms are always open. Guests are greeted and workers talk very loudly whenever guests need help. This creates a loud environment where other feels it’s appropriate to be loud. Kids run and cry. Adults take very loud phone calls. Some people watch videos without headphones. Often the conference rooms are in use but for some reason the doors are wide open and it’s very loud. Theres an action lab designed for teamwork and discussion. But the door is just left open by workers everyday. They have lots of good things to rent and a great free book rack. Plus 3 stars for that

Really great candy store. They have an interesting inventory of sweets, including popcorn. It is little bit pricey, even if you are getting the individual candy bags. But because of how tasty and fresh they are, it is worth it.

This shop has been a must visit every time we go to Whistler. However, this past visit was a bit of a disappointment, several empty bins, very high prices and the sugar free section is gone. The only highlight are the Camel Balls which are an excellent gag gift and always get good laughs from people.

Truly worth trying out at least once! Did the Eagle Tour with my 14yo daughter. Had a blast. I think all of the families in our group had a great time. I was glad to have booked this one instead of the Sasquatch Tour because the five lines on this tour were a great introduction to zip-lining. Having five lines also made it possible to try different things out as the tour progressed. Staff were pretty good, though you did get the feeling that some of them were perhaps a little hung over, as we did the tour on a Saturday.

We did the Eagle Tour for our 20th Anniversary. The guides were excellent at putting my fears aside. If you’re nervous, plan to go first. It just takes 2 seconds of courage to get started. Enjoy the beautiful mountains, trees and rivers. I felt completely secure and safe in the harness and the breaking system was quite smooth. It is worth the experience and if I ever go back to Whistler, I will be doing the Sasquatch!!! I am not adventurous but this was a highlight of our vacation. I also recommend renting or bringing a Go-pro. We have some stunning footage and great memories.

An unforgettable adventure! Absolutely amazing experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and uplifting, bringing so much positive energy throughout the tour. I especially appreciated the forest and environmental explanations — it made the adventure both fun and meaningful. Ziplining through the mountains with such a passionate team was truly unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Great experience doing the Eagle Tour. 5 zip lines total with the first being 800m. Beautiful scenic views along the walking trails and obviously on the zip line. It’s an adrenaline rush, but I’d say is approachable for most people. There were a few in our group that were nervous and by the end they were bombing along!
Pete M — Google review
My boyfriend booked the Tree Trek Tour as I wasn’t sure about zip lining just yet. Our guide, Mason was absolutely amazing and gave us all the pros about the different zip lines and how they all work. She was the best part of the tour for sure. We left the trek with so much new knowledge of the area and a need to try the zip lines 😊
Breanna C — Google review
The Eagle zip line tour with Nada and Jacob was a ton of fun and educational too. We learnt about the forest we were zip lining through along with other flora, fauna and the native people that inhabit the area. Highly recommend hiring a go-pro for the trip. Great quality video and photos and the money you spend goes to charities in the region. These Aussie fellas will hopefully be back soon!
Jase V — Google review
Amazing adrenaline fun! Professional fun staff that focus on safety. The trek in the forest (eagle tour) is informative and beautiful, and the Sasquatch tour is a thrill in the rain, clouds, or sunshine (been on it multiple times). Do this when you visit Whistler!

Such an incredible day on the Eagle Tour - Izzy and Seb made it an unreal experience. Felt so safe (and also exhilarated), and tried different tricks like trust falls and Spider-Mans! The weather was a bit drizzly, but it made for a really moody mountain setting and we loved it. Also really loved the acknowledgment of country and facts about the flora and fauna of the area. My mum was isn’t super great at long steep hikes, but this was super doable and Izzy and Seb were really patient. For anyone unsure on the walk/terrain/stairs on the eagle tour: the most we did was 4.5 flights of stairs, but really able to take your time and use the hand railings. Thanks Izzy and Seb - such an awesome day on the mountain!! 🌲💚

Indoor playground
Escape! Whistler is a popular indoor activity in Whistler, offering an immersive escape room experience for small groups of 2-6 guests. Participants work together to solve puzzles, riddles, and clues within 45 minutes to 'escape' from themed rooms such as The Pirate Ship, The Pinball Machine, The Buried Cabin, Yukon Gold, Underwater Lair and The Rabbit Hole.
I love escape rooms, and I've done many escape rooms in Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. This escape room in Whistler is the best I've ever been to! We did the Yukon Gold escape room. It was well decorated and had a variety of creative puzzles and contraptions that I've never seen in other escape rooms. The puzzles required teamwork and thinking outside the box. There was a little bit of climbing and crawling involved. This escape room was fun for both the experienced players and first-time players in our group. The staff were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our time at Escape Whistler and will definitely try another room next time we are in town.
Nicole P — Google review
We had a rainy day in Whistler so decided to do an Escape room. We chose the Pirate Room as it was the easiest and we had no experience. We are a family of four with a 10 and 13 year old. It was a lot of fun. Many of the puzzles required team work and everyone in the family were able to work together and contribute. Only challenge was with the dim lighting and our poor eye sight. Apparently flashlights are available if requested. We will be back to try another room
Cindy M — Google review
The Escape Room team was amazing! They helped me organize the activity for 36 people and it went very smoothly. Staff is very friendly and they try to accommodate everyone's needs. I am very happy with how everything went down. I highly recommend the Escape Room for corporate events or group activities, its worth it, everyone had a blast!
Mabel C — Google review
Did a couple of rooms - Underwater Lair and Pinball. Pinball was unique and enjoyable. Underwater Lair was great! Lots of good puzzles, amazing set and props, and lots of humor. Highly recommend that one. Two downsides: I have done many escape rooms in several countries and this was the most expensive that I have done. As well, they only give 45 minutes to complete the room. Both rooms had quite a number of puzzles, giving one hour would be much better. Especially considering the price. Given this, I would have given a lower star rating if we only did the pinball room, but the underwater lair was so good!
Passports H — Google review
A friend and I completed the Pinball escape room and had the best time ever! The room was so much fun and also challenging (in the best way). The level of detail and creativity in the room was so impressive. It made the whole experience so immersive and exciting. The staff were amazing and a big shout out to Brie for the enthusiastic introduction to the room. She really set the tone for an awesome experience. We were so close to finishing and the staff kindly gave us extra time so we were able to complete it! 10/10 experience and I can’t wait to try all the other rooms soon! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Chloe J — Google review
Fantastic experience and the best value for Whistler. Super helpful and friendly staff and the escape room we did was so detailed. The layout was unique and we were kept on our toes with the tasks to escape. Everyone in our group said the escape room was the best part of their trip to Whistler! (For clarity - we are local to the Vancouver area so have been to Whistler several times, not first time visitors :))
Laura W — Google review
We really enjoyed our first escape room with Escape! Whistler! We did the pirate ship. We loved the staff - they were super helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. And we loved the room set-up - really felt like we were on a pirate ship, without sea sickness. A 5-star experience. The only suggestion I have for the management is to consider the age of the group and have modifications for that. My group was all over 50, one in her 70s, and the room was too dark for those of us with older eyes, whereas younger folk likely don't struggle as much. If there was an option to turn up the lights a bit, while still keeping the ambience, it would help us!
Kim M — Google review
We had a fun but slightly frustrating time at Escape Whistler. The employees were friendly and helpful when it came to giving clues, which definitely kept things enjoyable. That said, some of the puzzles felt a bit too convoluted and circuitous, (especially for the 45 min.) instead of leading to those satisfying “aha!” moments, they often left us feeling more confused. Obviously this review is completely subjective based on my (our) own ability at doing an escape room, but I'll probably pass next time we're in Whistler. Edit to add: They did give us some extra time & explained the room after we failed to 'escape'

Backroads Whistler Boat Rentals offers a variety of biking trails around Lost Lake, outside of Whistler Village. The trails are not very demanding and offer beautiful scenery with lush greenery, the lake, and towering mountains. Riders should be cautious during late July and early August due to toad migration on the trails. The River of Golden Dreams is a calm stream connecting Alta and Green lakes, perfect for kayaking or canoeing.
It was a sunny day. Perfect for the 2.5 hour canoe ride. It started at Lakeside, against the backdrop of snow capped mountains. Then the journey to the river begins where you have to navigate the bends . Spencer was very professional in guiding us throughout and made sure that we are safe and happy. It’s an adventure not to be missed.

Booking with them online was super easy. There's a couple of waivers to complete (online) and then we just showed up! We did the self guided, single kayak experience which I highly recommend. The river is gentle in some parts and a bit faster flowing after two rivers meet. We didn't think "expert level" skills are required but I think it depends on your fitness level and sense of capability to kayak or canoe (vs portage) some sections. We haven't done much kayaking but we are both fairly fit and capable so we didn't feel any hesitancy in continuing on the river. The customer service was great and pick up at the Sports Centre was easy. The scenery is beautiful and peaceful. Highly recommend this company and experience!!

We did the Wildlife at Twilight tour with Backroads Whistler on the River of Golden Dreams and loved it. Our guide, Charlotte, was fantastic—patient, friendly, and super supportive (even after I accidentally tapped her with my paddle—sorry again!). Starting out on the lake was a little challenging because of the wind and light current, but once we entered the river the paddling became smooth and relaxing. We spotted a couple of beavers, and the views at twilight were absolutely beautiful. Overall, a great experience from start to finish. Highly recommend this tour and Backroads Whistler!

One of the highlights of our trip. The guided tour option was well worth the extra cost as the guides help you to navigate the trickier bends. The excursion allowed for varying ages and skill levels within our party of ten. Equipment was well maintained and staff ensured safety protocols in place. A serene location with breathtaking views of mountains and glacier waters. A remarkable adventure.

Six of us kayaked the River of Golden Dreams, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience – pure fun and adventure from start to finish. We paddled through stunning scenery, tackled mini rapids, and passed over dams. The river levels were low, so we had to do two portages, but that only added to the sense of adventure. The crew gave us excellent instructions before we set off, making the whole trip smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable outdoor experience!

Susanna, Ryder and Spencer were all really helpful and knowledgable. We went for a Canoe ride along the river in October. It was great to have the option to rent a canoe as our paddle boards would not have been suitable due to the beaver dams at this time of year. Thanks!

Here’s a polished version of your review for Whistler Backroad Boat Rental: ⸻ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I rented a canoe for myself and my 8-year-old daughter, and while the day brought some unexpected challenges, the staff made the whole experience safe, memorable, and enjoyable. From the start, everyone was friendly and welcoming. They even gave us a Whistler local discount (which we are), which she loved. The canoe was easy to set up with their help, and we were excited to head out on Alta Lake. Unfortunately, the wind and waves picked up, and we got stuck at the far end of the lake. I called reception, and they immediately sent a rescue boat. When the staff arrived, they were calm, professional, and incredibly reassuring—especially with my daughter. They made sure she felt safe and relaxed the entire time. Back at the dock, the reception team checked in on her and even gave her a freezie to help her calm down. That small but thoughtful gesture really made a difference. Overall, the service was outstanding—professional, kind, and above and beyond what I expected. I would 100% recommend Whistler Backroad Boat Rental to anyone looking for a fun, safe, and memorable experience.

Scam company, during april, they sell a 3 months pass where you get an additional 4th month included. Yet they don't tell you that during the 4th month the pool and gym will be closed. Supposedly this happens every year, yet the earliest email they sent about this closure was ONLY 3 DAYS PRIOR TO THE CLOSURE. They offered no immeditae compensation or solution for consumers, unless they went out of your way to call them. They directly lied on the phone saying email notification was given much earlier than 3 days prior, yet refused to provide a date or further information on these supposed notifications... they offered 20% bonus days as compensation for taking away 66% of the services.... They falsely claim that they have no obligation to provide 100% services due to their terms of service, that is not true... this bait and switch is fraud and not permitted in Canada. Please report them to Consumer Protection BC... You cannot offer a monthly service then simply take away 66% of it because your terms say "availability of services may vary"

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Whistler Village, Whistler Core Climbing and Fitness Gym is a fantastic destination for adventure seekers of all ages. If you're new to the sport, consider joining one of their engaging classes or take advantage of their bouldering zone—perfect for those who prefer climbing just a few feet off the ground without ropes.
My six year old had an hour long private climbing lesson with Charlotte during our vacation. It was her first time climbing, but Charlotte was absolutely amazing; my daughter loved it so much that we signed up for a second lesson the next day! I can’t say enough nice things about the staff here. Two other instructors at the front desk were very kind, and also great with kids. Charlotte was patient and kept things fun while fitting in a lot of instruction. Highly recommend Whistler Core! We loved Charlotte, but I’m sure the other instructors we met would have been just as good.

Great experience at Whistler Core Gym! I visited Whistler Core Gym for climbing as a complete beginner, and I have to say I was really impressed. Tom and Rhys, who work there, were very professional and helpful. Tom took the time to guide me and my friend through the basics, and thanks to his support, I was able to push myself and climb harder routes. His motivation and approach were amazing! If you're looking to start climbing or improve your skills, I highly recommend this place. Thanks for the great experience!

I went for an outdoor social group climb organised by the lovely crew at the core! Not only did they have all the gear and experience needed they were also incredibly kind and accommodating! Charlotte helped get everything sorted and flowing smoothly and Tom went the extra mile to safely hook me onto the crag so I had the awesome oppertunity to take some awesome photos of our group! I felt safe but also challenged to up my climbing skills. Will be going again

Amazing experience. Rachel and John were so incredible and encouraging, giving my little girls the confidence to climb the walls. Also really tested my old man strength. Highly recommend as something to experience in Whistler.

Here in Whistler for a weekend away but wanted to be able to do a proper workout with weights (my hotel just had the treadmill). I did a drop in for $18 which I thought was pretty reasonable. They had pretty much all the machines and squat rack I was hoping to use and wasn’t too busy. It definitely picked up around 4pm which was supposed to be their busiest time. The workout spaces are broken out into separate rooms. It’s certainly a smaller gym but while your travelling was worth it to get my workout in. Also really loved that they had lifting belts and straps to use as I didn’t bring any of my gear on this trip.
Bekah M — Google review
Came for the bouldering while on vacation: great setting and use of space for how small the climbing gym is; textured walls add dimension to the climbing. We have tried a few gyms in the BC area over the years while on vacation; Whistler Core Climbing is hands down our favorite! My partner noted that V0-V6 were all graded hard, but that everything beyond V6 were...not much harder than V6. I didn't mind! I am a short climber with finger injuries and appreciated that setters did not create difficulty solely with reach and crimps. That always takes creativity and I find that only the rare gym will respect the short climber (encouraging diversity). Much Appreciated!

Had a great day climbing with Charlotte and a lovely group of girls for the women’s outdoor climbing day. Will definitely be recommending to all my friends in Whistler, a great way to meet new people and get on some rock! Also thanks to Tom and Reese for helping with the set up. Thanks Whistler Core!!

I moved to whistler in October 2023 with the goal of trying to get into climbing. I’ve been to climbing gyms in the past where I’ve felt a little confused and not sure where or how to start. Coming to the core has been such an awesome experience as you feel you know the climbing coaches and they pop by during your climb and offer some tips. They are easy to approach and I don’t feel intimidated to ask questions. I recently attended an outdoor session with Charlotte and Tom and it was so great, so much fun and I can’t wait to get back out there. If you are looking to try climbing, get back into climbing or up skill, Charlotte and Tom are your go to people.

Located at the base of Blackcomb mountain, the Family Adventure Zone is a summer hotspot offering an array of exciting activities for kids and adults alike. From go-karts to trampolines, bouncy castles to a giant airbag jump, there's no shortage of fun here. Additionally, Vallea Lumina is a popular nearby attraction featuring an immersive light show set in the forested surroundings of Cougar Mountain.
Our five year-old and seven-year-old were here both Saturday and Sunday. There’s bouncy castle, water, roller, super trampoline, magic wall, and rope zone. Tickets is about $16 each per activity. You can purchase five or more ticket at a better rate.Jake Was helping my daughter was two different activity. He was very friendly. Made the experience very good. Will definitely come back again.

My 3 year old had a lot of fun on the bouncy castle and the operator did not enforce the time limit which was nice. Also didn’t have to wait at all to go on. However the guy operating the bouncy castle instructed us to go buy a ticket for $16, while he told the family who came after us they could go on for free. I didn’t like the unfair service.
Joy E — Google review
We were in Whistler for a mini break and while checking out the market in the upper village, we found this place! The kids were excited so I went to go grab some tickets. So the good news is that the kids had a blast. They have these bungee trampolines a climbing wall, adventure course, floating balls that you can go inside, a large bounce obstacle course and a spinning centrifuge type of ride. The attendants were lovely and helpful and very sweet to the kids. The down side is the price. $16/ride or experience/kid.....they do have packs of tickets for a discounted rate but still...it's a steep price for what it is.

Waste of money! Rude older gentleman operating bouncy adventure. My family has been going to the Family Adventure Zone for years and we’ve always had a wonderful experience however this year, my twins were yelled at by a worker gentleman who accused them of running on the bouncy castle (when they weren’t) and they felt so intimidated by him they left after only using 9/20min we paid for. While I know the FAZ is an attraction, spending $40+ for 20min time limit on a bouncy castle is a rip off but we were on holidays and never mind paying for fun experiences but this was far from it! I do not recommend.
Jules T — Google review
Rope Zone specifically- we were there on Friday afternoon around 2pm and whoever girl was working on the rope zone was clearly offended by our mere presence. She made couple of faces and eye glares looking at our 6yr old. Maybe because our daughter was a little anxious going up and eventually decided to climb down. The girl on duty with short blonde hair was clearly annoyed by our presence, maybe because we interrupted her chit chat with another lady. Just because of her attitude we decided to not do it and leave the place. Some training on how to treat people is really missing. Not recommended.

Nestled in the vibrant Function Junction neighborhood, Whistler Brewing Company has been a prominent figure in British Columbia's beer culture since 1989. Despite changing ownership over the years, it remains a beloved fixture among locals and visitors alike. While most of their brewing takes place in Kamloops, their taphouse in Whistler offers an enjoyable experience for beer enthusiasts. Surrounded by picturesque bike trails, it serves as an ideal destination to unwind and savor their craft beers.
Did the Brewing Company Tour and highly recommend it! (Hidden) Gem just outside of the center of Whistler. Super friendly and enthusiastic employees, very personal and fun experience. Great food as well, even though the beer is still the MVP.

We celebrated Mother's Day by having lunch here, sitting on the patio with our dogs and toddler. The staff was incredibly friendly and catered to our needs. Our virgin Caesars were delicious, especially since I usually like mine dirty. The wood-burning pizza was the highlight; it was the best we've had in Whistler. We also enjoyed the Caesar salad and and mussels in coconut curry; they were amazing. Even my son devoured the kids' pasta. Overall, everything was fantastic! The vibe at the restaurant was top-notch, with excellent food, drinks, service, and location, all deserving a 10/10 rating.

Whistler Brewing Company has truly stood the test of time and has somehow improved even further. We first discovered it eight years ago, and upon returning, we found the same amazing vibe, now with a little extra polish. The beers were outstanding, with the Grapefruit Ale and the Variable Conditions Hazy IPA standing out as particularly refreshing and full of character. A huge shout-out to Hugh and the rest of the team for making us feel right at home. With its chill indoor space and lively patio, the brewery has something for every kind of hiking or biking day mood. If you’re anywhere near Whistler, do yourself a favor and stop by for a pint (or two). Whistler Brewing, please don’t ever change!

We are glad we made the drive from Langley. First, we had the nachos and they were excellent. Great toppings, lots of condiments and a good size to split with someone. Second, we had a flight of beer and all were delicious but the Tusk dark ale was THE best dark ale that both of us have ever tried... Seriously. Third and most important, I didn't catch his name, the guy working the bar was from Quebec. He was excellent and really made the visit. He really talked up the Tusk dark ale stating that "his blood is 50% Tusk dark ale." He had some great comments about each of the beer selections that we made and had some great stories that we all laughed about. It was our pleaseure to meet him and enjoy an afternoon at the Whistler Brewing Company Taphouse. We are already looking forward to a return visit.

Best brewery in all of B.C. All the beers I tried were bangers but particularly, their Chestnut Ale is legit one of the best beers I've ever had. I've been to over 100 breweries in the world and this is my top five favorites. Really wish I could get their beer imported back home!

We've been coming up to Whistler for years and haven't made it to Whistler Brewing until this year and we regret not coming sooner! Our bartender/server/comedian Hughes (sorry if that's wrong!) Lost Lake Park, located just a short distance from Whistler Village, offers a serene escape amidst the bustling resort. During warmer months, visitors can enjoy the clear waters and sandy beach for swimming, kayaking, and picnicking. The surrounding trails provide peaceful walks through old-growth forests. In winter, the park becomes a Nordic skiing paradise with groomed trails winding through snow-covered landscapes.
Spent a great afternoon swimming and chilling on the beach area. There is an easy hiking trail around the lake and a free shuttle from whistler village. We grabbed a freshly baked pizza from the on-site food wagon and a refreshing ice pop from an entrepreneurial youngster! There are washrooms, changing rooms picnic benches and a doggy friendly beach area. Well worth visiting and it’s free!

Beautiful place for summer or winter walk. Needed spikes since snow/slush cover before winter snow. Nordic center not open yet so no trail fees. Wonderful rippling creeks, bridges and trails around the lakes. Amazing views of the mountains. Bathrooms were open but not the warming hut at Lost Lake. Picnic tables and benches to rest and soak in the view.

An easy, accessible and picturesque walk. We started in Whistler village and made our way through the Valley trail to Lost Lake PassivHaus. The early May weather was cool and clear. An easy path winds up a slight incline to reach the Lost Lake Loop. There are several alternative tracks that parallel the main one and offer a better woodlands experience. The loop itself has wonderful views of the surrounding snowcapped mountains reflecting on the cold, clear water. Take a picnic lunch to eat at one of the many clear spots dotted along the shoreline. There are swimming pontoons for those brave (crazy) enough to take a dip. After circuiting the lake clockwise, we returned to the village via the road on the other side of the creek. Took about 3 hours with a nice 20 minute break. Well worth the effort.

NO PARKING - Definitely the biggest con. Closest parking is not inside the park, probably a 25min walk away. The park is pretty average, nothing notable. Small beach area with lots of tadpoles. Some nice flat trails with some shade if you want to go for a stroll. Good size for small kids. There’s also a few picnic tables. Crepe truck and a small souvenir shop too.

Went before 10am got one of the limited parking spaces. It’s a simple beached lake. Water is icy cold with platforms to swim to. Shallow for a few meters for kids to play. Very clean feeling. Very wide and maintained path to walk around the lake about 20 minutes for the basic loop. Some branching paths at the far end.

This place is so serene, the water so clear, and the ambiance so vibrant. The hike to reach this place is very calm, even good for beginners. You can also bike there. There is a longer hike route around the lake as well. The picnic spot is very swamped with people doing different activities. The water is so crystal clear that you can even see small fishes swimming around. People were swimming, kayaking and doing BBQ. The view is just stunning!

15 min walk from Whistler village and yet features large and stunning trails to explore! The Lost lake loop is an easy one to do though you can also go further towards Green Lake and do a longer walk. Went on a Saturday morning at 10 in August and it wasn't too busy so highly recommend!

Great place for relaxation and a picnic. Great lake, surrounded amazing views of the mountains. The water are very cold. No parking at the place. There is a trail from the village to the lake. There are public washrooms there. Dog friendly park. Highly recommended while visiting Whistler.

Farmers' market
Food products supplier
Nestled at the base of Blackcomb Mountain, the Whistler Farmers' Market is a delightful destination for anyone looking to immerse themselves in local culture and flavors. Open every Sunday from 11 AM to 4 PM between May and October, this vibrant market showcases an array of offerings from artisans across the Sea to Sky region, including Squamish and Pemberton. Visitors can explore a variety of handmade crafts, fine art, and homegrown products while enjoying delicious food booths that highlight regional cuisine.
I recently visited this farmers market and was thoroughly impressed by the variety and quality of organic groceries available. The fresh produce was vibrant and flavorful, and it was clear that the vendors took great care in growing and preparing their goods. I particularly enjoyed the innovative products on offer, from maple syrup, artisanal jams and handmade cheeses to unique baked goods. The market had a welcoming atmosphere, with friendly vendors eager to share their stories and offer samples. It’s clear that there’s a commitment to supporting local farmers and small businesses, which I greatly appreciate.

This has got to be one of the best farmers markets that we have ever been to! The variety of food vendors compliment other vendors that sell local products so well, and the organizers have done a fantastic job creating a welcoming and fun environment for visitors/ guests/ tourists of all ages :) The food prices here are very reasonable (in terms of a farmers market, so don’t expect a bargain by any means) and all the vendors we visited took cards, which is a huge advantage over the other ones we have visited. The quality of the food was also top notch - big shout out to Taiwanese Bento for the mouthwatering scallion pancake wraps 🤤 The live music was a cherry on top of an overall amazing experience. I can’t think of a better way to kickstart your morning in Whistler if you are around the village on Sundays 🤭☀️

The Whistler Farmers’ Market is worth checking out if you’re in the village on Sunday during the warmer months. There are vendors selling cooked food, beverages, fruits, vegetables, art, clothing, jewelry, and household goods. Lots of local vendors from Whistler and Squamish area. There is even live music.
May Z — Google review
The farmer's market happens every Sunday from 11 AM to 4 PM. We got there at around 1, and there were a lot of people, but it didn't feel overcrowded. They have lots of vendors selling local goods, jewelry, arts & crafts, produce, and some food vendors - but not a lot. The only ones I recall were scallion pancakes, bibimbap, lemonade, shave ice, and pizza. We ended up getting some scallion pancakes and bibimbap. We also bought some syrups from the shaved ice stand. Most of the prices seem very fair, considering how expensive Whistler is in general. There's nothing amazing about this farmer's market but it's nice if you want to check out some local items, and if you have nothing to do.

It’s a soft opening for the farmers market. Not much produce for this week of June 9. Prices are higher than grocery stores.

We were here during Crankworx at the end of July. Very crowded and busy (as was all of Whistler). Thought that was a lot more “crafty” type vendors than actual produce vendors as the lovely photos others have posted here. Still a nice chance to stroll and enjoy the experience.

Breakfast restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Whistler, Crepe Montagne is a charming French crêperie that offers a wide array of sweet and savory options. Established in 1993, this cozy eatery has become a go-to spot for delicious food and impeccable service. The menu features popular choices like La Parisienne, La Suzette, and Le Tatin. In addition to crepes, they also serve meat fondue and raclettes.
Would give 100 stars if I could. From out of town and just had a good feeling about this place. Visited with our 4 M/O puppy and were accommodated with a water bowl, a mug of ice cubes, lots and lots of love, and exceptional service. The food was delicious (possibly the best breakfast we've ever had) Will for sure be coming back here. You will 100% be glad you came to Crêpe Montagne:) Massive shoutout to Emma and Natasha

Charming breakfast spot with a cozy atmosphere and friendly service. The food was decent but the overall experience made it worth a visit. Good place to try if you’re in the village and want something different.

I read a lot of good reviews, and walked in with high expectations! Although the group arrived after me was seated before us, the waiting time was acceptable. We ordered an omelette and a savoury crepe. The smoked salmon omelette was pretty good, but the crepe was quite disappointing. It was quite dry… The most disappointing part was the service…. Everything was fine until the waitress cleared the table, including napkins at the very same second that I put my fork down. I was still having my last bite. She didn’t asked if we were done, instead simply took the dishes and said I will bring your bill. We understand the restaurant was busy But from the moment the food was served till we walked out of the restaurant, it was only 25mins….. I don’t know why she was rushing us…

Let me start by saying I've worked and been married into the service industry for over a decade. I say this with a great disappointment and I'm insulted by what we experienced here today. I don't know if they're just having an off day or what but it's as if it was the whole staffs first day on earth today. I'm not sure if it's a requirement to have never seen a single scrambled egg before to work here?? We sent one of the over and under cooked (at the same time!) eggs back to see if they'd bring a normal $7 egg back but they just microwaved it or something, it was awful. You can see the what they handed back in the photo provided, I wish I had gotten a before shot. My brother got the Florentine eggs Benedict and it was a gross heap of wet plain spinach on an untoasted English muffin. The egg pan is clearly too hot and the hash brown pan was clearly too cold. I like crispy bacon but not burnt bacon for the price. The only good thing was the maple latte. Our server never checked on us and everyone was like a zombie, it was so bizarre. I genuinely regret not speaking up while there but it didn't seem like it would have mattered if I had. For the whole staff to clearly not care whatsoever is obviously the fault of management who themselves must not care and cannot encourage anyone here to care or be proud about the services provided.

I read a lot of good review and was excited to try this place. My experience did not live up to my expectations at all. The space is cozy, charming, and very welcoming. My mocha... Meh? My crepe (Belle Helene) was raw tasting and left a lingering flour taste. Overall dish were very average, if not slightly below. A taste I cannot justify at this price point. I expected better. Mine did come with a good poached pear, which was perfectly cooked. Still bright and refreshing. But the crepe ruined it. Chocolate sauce tasted store bought and not made in house. Vanilla icecream was the same, nothing to write home about. Don't get me wrong, I think you can corporate mass producing ingredients into perfectly good comfort dishes with the right balance. But this was not it. It left me feeling like I was having a thoughtless dish, cheaply put together and made into a fancy dish with a touch of poached pear. The bratwurst on the side was pretty good, probably the only thing I actually like. I don't recall now but the herb in there was pretty on point. But at $6 for such a small portion (doesn't appeared to even be a link worth) left me questioning the portion size. The whole service was very messy. The waitresses kept asking each other what's what and they just all seems very confused. They seems to be trying so I want to praise them for effort but it doesn't make for a good dining experience. One of the waitress almost drop the hot mocha on me because her hand was super shaky. This place is definitely not for me, and I doubt I would return. It was nice to go once though.

Crepe was taste good but I had egg and tomato crepe which there was no sign of taste of egg in the crepe. I asked for side of spinach which made crepe unpleasant.. spinach was like a piece of cooked but cold on top of the crepe…

Great Food and Authentic Parisian feel. Came here October 13th 2024. The food and service was superb. Having been to Paris the atmosphere was very similar, little warm place. We had French Onion soup which was very tasty, a goat cheese and chicken Crepe with a tomato bisque sauce that was delectable and a sweet strawberry with chocolate drizzling. We also had a Strawberry smoothie and Cappuccino, both were very good. The service was great, a short wait so we just walked to a nearby park to enjoy the beautiful Autumn colours and were promptly welcomed in. We won't hesitate to come back in the future though they did say they were closing soon for a period of time due to it becoming the off season. Thank you for the wonderful food and service. I gave it 4 Stars only because I rarely give perfect scores for anything so don't take that in any way that it wasn't good, it was close to perfect.

Pizza restaurant
Creekbread is a charming restaurant that offers gourmet wood-fired pizzas made with organic and locally sourced ingredients. The rustic-chic ambiance provides a perfect setting to enjoy delicious, chemical-free food. While they offer hearty salads loaded with high-quality ingredients, their specialty lies in their 100% Canadian wheat pizzas cooked in an all-natural wood-fired clay oven. The menu includes dedicated vegan options like the 'Vegan Tree Hugger' featuring BC-grown mushrooms and caramelized onions.
If you’re looking for the best pizza experience in Vancouver, Creekbread is an absolute must-visit! The atmosphere is cozy, welcoming, and full of rustic charm, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a great meal. As for the pizza — simply incredible! Every bite was packed with fresh, flavorful ingredients and baked to perfection. It was hands down the best pizza I’ve had in Vancouver. Is it worth the drive? Absolutely yes! Creekbread has officially made it to my list of favorite places, and I can’t wait to go back.

Compliments to the team, I’ll definitely be back!thanks

Pizza with a flop, took it to go. Got a 16" Lumberjack. Very thin, lots of flop, crust good, lovely the burnt bubble troubles! Very light on toppings, not a filling pizza but great flavor. Fed a family of four but left us snacking. If I ate here again, I would dine in.

We ordered Whistler Community pizza and loved it very much. Even though it was cold by the time we got back to our hotel (which was a 3 minute walk), it was still delicious. The flavors worked really well together - the mix of cheeses with the sweetness of the onions and the earthiness of the mushrooms made for a great combination. I can only imagine how much better it tastes when it's fresh and hot out of the oven. The only downside was the service. The hostess who took our order wasn't very friendly to us. I noticed that she offered garlic oil and hot sauce to everyone else picking up their orders but didn't offer me any - I had to ask for it myself. Overall, despite the lackluster service, the pizza itself was excellent and worth trying again, especially if you're dining in or eating it hot.

It's the best pizza we've ever had. Salads were fresh and delicious. We had a large group and everyone was impressed with the food.
Andrea N — Google review
The food here was quite tasty and the atmosphere was fun, but unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. We came in as a group of 14 and immediately let our server know we would need 6 separate bills. She looked at us like we were crazy and said she could only do 4 (which I know isn’t policy), so I suggested ringing us in under two separate tables. She responded with attitude and, according to my sister, threw in a big eye roll behind my back. We had kids with us and asked for their meals to come out first—even though there’s no kids menu, which is fine—but again, the server seemed confused. Some of our group ordered appetizers as their mains, but all the appetizers came out first anyway, followed by a long, staggered wait for the rest of the food. It took 60 minutes from the first pizza being served to the sixth (and last) one arriving. By then, most of us had already finished eating while others were just starting. When we ordered drinks, the server never confirmed anything, so we weren’t even sure if they were coming. Thankfully, they did. However, we also received extra pizzas we didn’t order, and when we questioned it, she got confused, argumentative, and again with the eye rolls. To top it off, we were charged an automatic 18% gratuity. While I do understand that’s standard for large groups, there was no mention of this online, in the booking confirmation, on the menu, or by the server. And frankly, the level of service we received didn’t warrant that kind of tip. No manager or supervisor ever checked in on us, and our server didn’t ask how anything was at any point. She seemed frustrated and overwhelmed from the start and completely disengaged once she knew she’d be getting a guaranteed tip. I truly hope this was just a one-off issue with the server and not reflective of how the restaurant normally handles large parties. Again, the food and ambiance were great, and I could see this being a fantastic place with the right service and maybe a kids menu or some more family-friendly options. My brother has already spoken to the manager, who was very apologetic—which we appreciate—but unfortunately, it doesn’t undo the experience. We visited at around 6 PM on Tuesday, September 23rd.

Stumbled upon this little gem! Pizza was so delicious so many great options to choose from. The size of the pizza oven was impressive. We ordered the lumberjack pizza, the hummus bread, citrus margarita and the old fashioned. Everything was a 10/10, my husband stated it was the best old fashion he'd ever had. We weren't sure on what size pizza to get, our waitress stated the large would be enough for 2 people. She wasn't wrong, could have fed a family of 4! I guess the left overs the next day where still delicious.

Brandywine Falls Provincial Park is a stunning natural attraction located about 20 minutes south of Whistler. The park features a magnificent 70-meter waterfall cascading over a wall of volcanic rocks, offering visitors breathtaking views from observation decks. Legend has it that the falls were named after a bet between railway surveyors who celebrated with a bottle of brandy upon measuring its height.
Brandywine Falls Provincial Park is a stunning natural gem located just off the Sea-to-Sky Highway near Whistler. The highlight is the breathtaking 70-meter waterfall, surrounded by lush forests and rugged cliffs. The park offers well-maintained trails that lead to several lookout points, providing spectacular views of the falls and the surrounding mountains. It's a perfect spot for a peaceful hike, photography, and enjoying nature. The park also features picnic areas and ample parking. Whether you're visiting for a short stop or a longer hike, Brandywine Falls is a must-see for anyone exploring the Whistler area.

The views at Brandywine Falls are just stunning. Easy parking at the start of the walk to the falls is followed by a beautiful walk though the forest on an easy path, across a train line to that viewing point for the falls. Just beyond this spot there is a stunning viewpoint stretching out across the valley. Highly recommend stopping by.

Amazing place to go but get there early because the parking lot gets packed really quickly. If you're into hiking, try the sea to sky trail. If you want to do the major loop that takes you along the trail all the way to the suspension bridge and then up the gravel road to the bungee jump bridge you're looking at about a 4-Hour to 5-hour hike. If you don't want to be traveling that far then just go to the bungee jump via the wide well-kept trail that is marked at Brandywine just after the railroad tracks. It's 2.7 km and very well maintained almost like a gravel road. Lots of great stuff for you to see and at one of one of the areas. The rock formations are pretty cool. The first time I saw it I thought somebody had laid down some paving stones. Those are some beautiful lakes to sit down and have a lunch.

The waterfall was cool. The area around it showed so much erosion and I was told it gets three times the size of the photos. The surrounding cliff was very beautiful as well. You could see the layers very clearly.

## Brandywine Falls Provincial Park: A Quick Escape with Cascading Beauty Brandywine Falls Provincial Park, located just outside Whistler, offers a beautiful natural wonder easily accessible for travelers along the Sea to Sky Highway. Here's a quick rundown of what to expect: **Majestic Waterfall:** The park's star attraction is the namesake Brandywine Falls, a cascading waterfall tumbling over 230 feet. A short, well-maintained trail leads from the parking lot to a viewing platform offering stunning views of the falls. **Perfect for a Short Stop:** This park is ideal for those seeking a quick break from the car journey. The entire walk to the viewing platform and back takes less than 20 minutes, making it a manageable stop for families or travelers with limited time. **Limited Amenities:** There are no restrooms, shops, or concession stands within the park. Be sure to use facilities and grab any snacks or drinks you might need before arriving. **Easy Accessibility:** Brandywine Falls Provincial Park is very easy to find and access. There's a well-marked parking lot right off the highway, and the trail to the falls is short and paved, suitable for all ages and fitness levels. **Keep in mind:** There have been reports of the parking lot being closed occasionally. It's a good idea to have a backup plan in case you encounter a closure. **Overall:** Brandywine Falls Provincial Park is a great choice for a quick and scenic stop along the Sea to Sky Highway. The impressive waterfall and easy accessibility make it a worthwhile detour for anyone wanting to experience a piece of beautiful British Columbia wilderness. Just be prepared for the lack of amenities and the possibility of a closed parking lot.

Nice little detour on our way to whistler. A short walk along a well kept track to a good view of the falls . The path continues a while longer with more views of the falls and a beautiful view across the valley. We managed to spot a majestic eagle soaring below us in the valley which really made it special.
Dave ( — Google review
On a whim, my wife and I decided to go see the Brandywine waterfalls on a Sunday morning and we embarked on a scenic road trip from Vancouver. The parking area near the trailhead is convenient, and there are a decent number of restrooms next to the parking lot. The trail path is well-maintained and is a very easy walk of 10 minutes, making it accessible for most hikers. The trail is dog-friendly, and we encountered several furry friends along the way, which added to the charm of the experience. But oh, the falls! Standing at 70 meters tall, Brandywine Falls is a spectacle to behold. The sheer force of the water cascading down into the gorge creates a mesmerizing sight and an incredible photo opportunity. Despite its popularity, the area never felt too crowded, allowing us to soak in the beauty of nature without feeling overwhelmed by crowds. If you're a nature enthusiast or just looking for a refreshing day trip from Vancouver, Brandywine Falls should be on your list for its ease of access and stunning natural beauty.

Hiking Trails
The Valley Trail in Whistler is a 40km pedestrian-only paved network that winds through the city's neighborhoods, lakes, and parks. It offers gentle hikes to lakes and forest picnic areas, making it suitable for cyclists and joggers as well. This serene trail provides a relaxing way to experience the area's natural beauty, with opportunities to stop for an energizing dip or enjoy a drink at a clubhouse patio en route.
Trail Series, Part 34 “Bicycle, bicycle, bicycle. I want to ride my bicycle, bicycle, bicycle. I want to ride my bicycle, I want to ride my bike. I want to ride my bicycle, I want to ride it where I like.” Queen Does riding a bike while in the mountains sound appealing, but the part that involves barreling down bumpy terrain that makes your teeth chatter, maybe not so much? Well not to worry, ‘cuz we’ve got you covered! There just happens to be approximately 50 km of trails in and around the Whistler Village that are easily navigated (and numerous opportunities to rent your bike and safety equipment). We began our journey in Whistler Village and rode the Valley Trail on our visits to Lost Lake, Green Lake, Alta Lake, Nita Lake, and Alpha Lake, while enjoying views of the mountains that seemed to surround us on all sides. This trail is mostly flat, is maintained in excellent fashion, displays clear directional signage throughout, and nearly all of its sections are paved. While there are some hills to contend with, none of them should discourage riders of any ability level (or those with mobility issues). This is a great opportunity to meander off the beaten path and explore some of the nuances of the Whistler Village area, with numerous food or beverage provisions available throughout your self-directed journey. In keeping with Canadian tradition, we were careful to pack an “Oh Henry!” bar as part of our emergency rations (which we finally consumed given that none of our adventures this week involved a search and rescue team). And that’s…Henry’s Take. #bikingwhistler

Rainbow Park in Whistler is a fantastic spot for a fun day out! The park offers plenty of docks where you can jump into the water, perfect for cooling off on a hot day. Whether you're into swimming, paddleboarding, or kayaking, the lake offers endless opportunities for water fun. Came to Rainbow Park on a Friday at around 12:30. There is paid street parking in the area. This was my first experience swimming in a lake, and it was just okay. I guess I had a different image in my head. Some grass areas were wet/muddy due to sprinklers, and most of the good sitting areas were already taken. The water is cold and just doesn't look too clean - but maybe this is normal for lakes? I probably only stayed in the water for 5 minutes before I started wondering if I would catch something. If swimming in the lake is not for you, I think there is also a hiking trail nearby.

Another attraction is the glass-bottom gondola...breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks, forests and Whistler Village below. It’s a must-do for tourists and adventure lovers. Almost 15 minute journey feels magical, showcasing stunning scenery at 4.4 km long. However, tickets are pricey, but the experience is worth it. The gondola runs smoothly with friendly staff ensuring safety. Dress warmly, as it was chilly at the top. This ride creates unforgettable memories for us.

We took a small gondola up to the top of Black comb, and then took the peak to peak gondola across to Whistler. This was the preferred way because Whistler is the highlight. There are two different gondolas you can take for the peak to peak trip. One of the gondolas, as in the photo, has Indigenous art on it and it has a glass bottom so you can look down while you’re travelling across. That gondola comes once every 15 minutes because there are only two of them. In my opinion, it’s not worth waiting for that gondola with the glass bottom because it’s actually only a rectangle of glass not the whole floor. Also, I got the same benefit from just looking out over the side of the gondola as I have been high up in the mountains and, I’ve already seen these kinds of views. It wasn’t so spectacular for me, but if you’re not used to being up in the mountains, this would be an absolutely amazing trip that you must take. The views are incredible and when you get up to the top of Whistler, even I was an awe. Well worth the trip for everyone.

Expensive tickets but worth the visit. The gondola ride up is about 25mins. The peak to peak is only 11mins. Views on the top is amazing and there are trails up that can take you even higher. The Line up isn’t crazy with glass window ride every 15mins. Top of the mountain can be very chilly & windy during none summer seasons so be sure to check the conditions and bring warm jackets if needed. You can buy the ticket in advance & save.

Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Hype My husband and I visited Whistler for the first time, traveling all the way from Yukon with high expectations. Unfortunately, our experience was far from enjoyable. The overall cost was excessively high for what was offered, and the staff communication was lacking in professionalism and clarity. Upon arrival, we experienced light rain and informed the staff that this was our first time visiting. We were advised that the gondola ride would still be enjoyable and that we would be able to take beautiful photos once at the top. However, when we reached the summit, the weather had turned extremely foggy, making it impossible to see anything, let alone enjoy the views. Additionally, the gondola cabins were leaking and quite uncomfortable, further adding to our disappointment. Given the poor customer service, lack of transparency, and underwhelming experience, I would not recommend this to others. It felt like a waste of both time and hard-earned money.

I spent a lot of time going back and forth on which gondola to go on - Peak 2 Peak or Sea to Sky. We ended up doing both. I ended up enjoying Peak 2 Peak more, which I was surprised by. It is expensive though - $99 CAD (not including taxes/fees). We went in mid-July and purchased our tickets online the day before. We thought this would allow us to skip a line but we still had to wait in line to pick up the tickets, which kind of defeated the whole purpose. We visited on a Saturday just after 10 AM when in opened and people were already lining up. I initially thought you just take a gondola ride up to the top, and that would be it. But nope. It's called Peak to Peak because you're taking a gondola from the peak of Whistler to the peak of Blackcomb (DUH). You can choose to go up either on the Whistler side, or the Blackcomb side. The ticket is good for a roundtrip, and you can cross peak to peak as many times as you want. We went up on the Whistler side (about a 10-15 minute gondola ride), and that is the mountain with more things to do. There's a gift shop/restaurant/bathrooms at the top, the Olympic rings, and the highlight - the Cloudraker bridge, which is a suspension bridge. But in order to get to the suspension bridge, you have to hike about 15 minutes to the chairlift. The trail opens at 11, and a lot of people (including us) were waiting for it to open, so you can beat the rush - which I recommend doing. It's a beginner trail but there are quite a bit of loose pebbles and slopes. I was able to do it at 6 months pregnant, but I definitely needed to hold onto my husband. From there, the chairlift is about 5 minutes up to the bridge. Once you take all your pictures, you head back down on the ski lift and hike back to the main area. From there, you can cross to Blackcomb Mountain. There was not much on that side except for a gift shop, restaurants, and bathrooms. There was also a huge school trip so we didn't stay long because we didn't want to get stuck behind them. We didn't end up going down on the Blackcomb side but just took the gondola back to the Whistler side to head down. We spent about 3 hours doing everything. It was worth the experience, and probably the highlight of my trip. So if you're on the fence of visiting (my main reason was the price), I would say just do it. You won't get many opportunities like this one.

Didnt plan but saw the gondola closes at 5, walked in to the office and purchased ticket at 330pm, we specifically asked if we have enough time for the peak express chairlift on the top? The answer was yes, “you can take the gondola up and immediately do the peak express now” so we paid $110/head….took the gondola right away to mount whistler, no line, and it took us a good 30mins from bottom to top in the gondola, arrived at 4:05pm. And theres a sign saying “The peak express chair is closed”….ended up noticing the express chair closes at 4. Talked to one of the crew member and was advised to take the gondola back down for a refund. Ticket office staff gave us a hard time, questioning if we took the peak 2 peak cuz it closes at 5 and we shdnt be affected by thr closure. After a few “we discussed with our manager but unfortunately…..” and “ you should’ve been advised that that the peak express closes at 4”, we ended up getting a full refund but the staff in the ticket office were entirely black faced and do not think they have made any mistake by giving us the info that we “should have enough time” to do everything up top at 330pm. Wasted an hour doing a mount whistler gondola round trip, going up and immediately down, and 30mins in the office fighting for a refund. If you do not want to do a round trip of gondolas up and down, do not buy any ticket after 1pm, you do not have enough time for anything, unless you want to pay $110 for a gondola round trip, up the top, and immediately back down…..

What an adventure! Had an absolute blast, booked really easily, we went early so no queues, went on the recommended 30 minute nature trail before heading over to whistler mountain on an awesome cable car ride. The chair lift up to whistler mountain is not for the faint hearted but my daughter managed it and she is super scared of heights. Would also recommend the Cloudraker skybridge. We grabbed a bite to eat at the cafe before heading back down. All told it took about 4 hours.

Disc golf course
Whistler Disc Golf Course offers a unique twist on traditional golf, with 27 metal baskets replacing the usual holes. Players are encouraged to dress casually and bring their own drinks. The course is free to play after purchasing discs from Whistler Village Sports. A full round takes about two to three hours and can be combined with a hike from Lost Lake to Green Lake. The course is divided into three 9-hole sections, offering a variety of challenges and stunning scenery.
Amazing that they have this course out here, very long course you can get a lot of hiking in and it is quite a difficult as well through many trees. We lost a frisbee, but still had a good time bring water and a hat if it’s in the summer.

Great scenic disc golf course. Fairly challenging play with lots of elevation change. A few long wide open holes and some fun wooded shots. About a 10 minute walk from the parking lot.
Dan T — Google review
A really fun course with different shot shapes and two sets of pads for about 18 of the 27 holes. Hole 13 is missing its basket so we played to the post as a tonal Udisc is a must to find your way to the next tee for several holes. Thanks Whistler Disc Golf Club!

Great people to show you the course. stunning views and a great course for all levels. Some really unique holes .. short wooded holes are the best 👌

Awesome disc golf course with great views. Some of the tee boxes could use some new paint to show where the basket is.

Great disc golf course. Each hole is unique. Very nice scenery. Pleasantly challenging, and good exercise. No water, but there is a risk of losing discs here if you’re not paying attention. I wouldn’t do the last hole, which is off a cliff and is very long. All three of us lost our discs on that one, but I found someone else’s.

What a great disc golf course, one of the best around.

Really fun course. We came with a group of varied skill level and everyone had a good time. We skipped the "cliff" holes due to time limits, but I would definitely go back and play those next time. The varied open/forested holes kept things interesting. Definitely keep an eye on your discs on this one. Lots of bushes! I would advise bringing a map of the course or taking a picture on your phone before you start. The course was well cared for and lots of time had been spent on wayfinding, but there was still one or two arrows that had fallen or been moved recently.

Whistler Playground, located in Whistler Village, is a fantastic spot for children to enjoy. It features two treehouse play structures catering to different age groups - one for older kids and another for toddlers. Both structures are equipped with slides, climbing elements, and cozy clubhouse spaces. Additionally, the playground's proximity to coffee shops and snack options makes it convenient for parents as well.
This has gotta be one of the all around best playgrounds I've seen. Not only for the kids. Parents can be at the shops nearby and still keep an eye on their kids. Well done Whistler.

Nestled at the base of Whistler Mountain, Dubh Linn Gate Irish Pub offers an authentic taste of Ireland right in the heart of Whistler. This charming pub is perfectly situated next to the Excalibur Gondola, making it a prime spot for both locals and visitors alike. With a fantastic selection of craft beers that includes local favorites alongside traditional Irish brews like Guinness, there's something for every palate.
We tried the pulled pork sandwich, ribs, steak and Guinness pie as well as the nachos. All the food were delicious. The nachos were huge and had lots of toppings, this is not an appetizer sized portion - it really is its own meal. The ribs were slow cooked and fell apart easily. Pulled pork sandwich was just right. But it was the steak and Guinness pie that really seals the deal. I believe it is their signature dish and worth a try. The thin crust pastry over the skillet just gave it enough of the pie taste but not overpowering the pie itself. You need to try this. Service was very slow, we probably sat around for about 10mins waiting for our server a number of times. They probably need more servers or distribute customers more evenly with their servers.
Sam G — Google review
After an afternoon of ATV riding, we were famished and found ourselves at this fine establishment. The Guinness was cold and the food was proper good. Not much else we could have asked for after a few pints and good grub. Looking forward to coming back here.

Had a late dinner here while staying at Whistler. It is a cool looking Irish pub with traditional pub food. They host live music and it can get loud. I ordered a Beef dip, the aujou was tasty with a nice rosemary flavor however the bun was burnt and there was not very much meat at all. My wife had the fish tacos which looked amazing but the fish was breaded and a little greasy. Out server did not some back to check on us and ask how our food was and it took a long time for a refill on our drinks, like we were forgot about for a while. It is a nice pub however and I'm sure the experience is not always like ours.
Troy M — Google review
We used to visit Dubh Linn Gate regularly years ago, and returning now, it’s evident that things have changed. It no longer feels much like an Irish pub, as the menu focuses heavily on more generic options, such as nachos, wings, banh mi bowls, and flatbreads, with little that reflects its Irish roots. We tried the mushroom pie, which had a flavorful filling, and the pretzel with cheese. The pretzel was served warm, but it had more of a mini baguette texture than the traditional chewy twist we had hoped for. The cheese was acceptable but nothing memorable. On a positive note, the wait staff was absolutely lovely. They were very friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. While we miss the old charm of the place, the team deserves credit for making us feel cared for.

Dinner was great – lots of gluten-free choices and really tasty food that arrived quickly even though it was busy! Breakfast was a different story. Despite being one of the few tables occupied, our food took almost 40 minutes to arrive, leaving us little time to eat before a long drive. We also weren't able to order drinks as our server was MIA after taking our order.
Bronwyn B — Google review
We visited this pub on a stopover in Whistler. We initially were only staying for one drink, however the atmosphere and the live duo were so good, we stopped for the evening. We had already eaten, however the food which we did see looked delicious and well presented, plus large portions. The staff were really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about their beers. The pub itself had plenty of seating both inside and out, plus a fab fire pit for cold nights. The decoration was typical for an Irish pub and quirky, which added to it's appeal. It was popular and really busy. It really made a perfect end to our evening in Whistler. I would definitely recommend this pub.

Restaurant
The Old Spaghetti Factory in Whistler, established in 1994, is a family-friendly restaurant located at the Crystal Lodge. It offers traditional Italian dishes within a charming turn-of-the-century setting. Known for its generous portions and value, every main dish purchase includes a crisp green salad, sourdough bread, coffee or tea, and Spumoni Ice Cream at no extra cost. This makes it a popular choice for families looking for affordable dining options in Whistler.
The Old Spaghetti Factory (Whistler) is a fantastic spot for a family meal, offering a hearty menu with something for everyone — from classic spaghetti and meatballs to lasagna and even steak. I love that every meal includes a starter (soup or salad), a main course, and finishes with tea, coffee, and a scoop of ice cream 🍨 — such great value! The only downside is that the washrooms are located outside the restaurant and managed by the resort. On the day we visited, there was no soap and water all over the floors, which was disappointing.
Markpaul C — Google review
The Old Spaghetti Factory offers generous portions, making it a good spot if you’re really hungry. However, the flavors were a bit underwhelming and not as rich as expected. That said, it’s a reliable choice for simple, classic pasta dishes in a casual setting.
Rienzi G — Google review
The atmosphere was really good and cozy. We got a lot of food for a low price in my opinion. You get inclusive in the price with your pasta a warm bread with garlic butter, a salad (or soup) and ice cream. So you will not go outside with hunger. The staff was friendly at the table, the only thing I can say something about was the check in for a reservation. We made a reservation in advance and when we got there, there was a long line of people waiting to be seated but all the people in line didn’t had a reservation and were told to wait. They didn’t ask if there were other people in line who maybe had a reservation and for that we had to wait 10min to be seated. But other than that there is nothing bad to say. Very happy to have eaten here.
Zoë — Google review
Driven by curiosity, my family and I decided to try the Whistler location, even though we had zero expectations. Out of the four dishes we ordered, two actually surprised us in a good way, the Fettuccine Alfredo and the Lasagna. The other two, well… no comment, the Linguine alle Vongole and the Fried Calamari. They could easily rename the pasta to “Linguine with Black Pepper” instead, and the calamari tasted like they were fried in oil that has seen too many seasons (honestly inedible). We pointed it out, but our waiter just shrugged. Service was friendly though, Jamie was nice and cheerful. Overall, it’s an experience we’re unlikely to repeat, but if you go, take it for what it is and keep your expectations low.

Good spot for dinner in the Village. We had a big group and the server was exceptional. He was patient, helpful, and accommodating. The food was good quality as you would expect from the Old Spaghetti Factory. The wait was a bit long, so make sure you reserve and be prepared to wait for a bit. The location is a bit hard to find though as you have to go down the stairs from the main Village area. So if you see the sign but you don't see the restaurant, then go down the set of stairs and you'll be there.
F W — Google review
Love the location they have in Vancouver’s gas town so was excited when I saw this location in Whistler village. The menu was the same as their other locations, but other than that, this location was a very disappointing experience. The wait time to get seated was long even though there was an abundance of empty tables when we showed up. The waitress also took a long time to come over and take our order. Other than taking our order and bringing the food, the waitress did not come over a single time or refill our waters. The food was also far below my expectations for what the Old Spaghetti Factory usually serves. The lasagna was okay, but the spaghetti and meatballs had way too little sauce for the amount of noodles in the dish. It was very bland and dry. Truly a disappointing experience overall. If you like their other locations, this one is one you should avoid going to.
T Y — Google review
The entrance to this restaurant is in the basement, and as soon as you step in, the staff welcomes you warmly with attentive service. The meal begins with Italian sourdough bread, crispy on the outside yet soft and chewy inside, with a delightful nutty aroma that lingers as you bite in. The Ban Ban Shrimp is fried to a perfect golden crisp, with plump, juicy shrimp inside and a tangy-sweet sauce that balances the flavors beautifully—crispy, savory, and refreshing all at once. The Clam Chowder has a rich, velvety broth with the sweetness of fresh clams blending perfectly with the creamy base, creating a warm, hearty, and comforting flavor in every spoonful. The Lasagna, Mama Pulosi’s Secret Homemade Recipe, is layered with tender pasta sheets, savory tomato meat sauce, and gooey melted cheese, baked to perfection for a deeply satisfying, homey flavor. The Linguine with Clams features al dente pasta tossed with fresh, succulent clams and topped with nutty Parmesan cheese, creating a deliciously briny and savory combination. And to finish, a creamy, refreshing scoop of ice cream makes the meal truly satisfying from start to finish. Generous portions, refined flavors, and very reasonable price! I’ll definitely be coming back!

Experience the most Canadian of pastimes at Forged Axe Throwing in Function Junction. Whether you're a first-timer or a seasoned pro, their action-packed sessions include safety talks, step-by-step instruction, practice runs, and friendly competition. With no special gear required, just bring your closed-toed shoes and get ready to unleash your inner lumberjack for a reasonable price per person.
Due to my injury, I couldn't really participate. This viewpoint is entirely on the sideline. My party seems to enjoy all their experiences here. Some are first timer and some have been to other axe throwing establishment before. The host were fun and energetic. It was definitely harder than they made it look, but of course, they were pro! I like that they slowly introduce you to different type of throwing and keep adding onto the challenges. Kept it fun and entertaining. Drinks are available for purchases but I don't think they have any snacks. I brought my own popcorn and just enjoyed chatting and cheering my party on. It was a great experience. The space are quite welcoming and warm. Very esthetically pleasing.

We had such an incredible time at Forged Axe Throwing in Whistler! None of us had ever tried axe throwing before, but our instructor, Brandon, made the experience so much fun while also teaching us proper technique. He was patient, encouraging, and kept the energy high, which made the whole session both educational and exciting. Even though my mom and I weren’t naturals, we still managed to land some solid shots and score points; which felt amazing! Meanwhile, my fiancé and dad were having a blast trying out the double axe throws, trick shots, and even the fireman axe. Brandon kept things entertaining for all of us, no matter our skill level. The atmosphere at Forged Axe Throwing is so welcoming and chill. You can tell that Brett has built a really awesome business that makes everyone feel comfortable and excited to be there. And of course, we can’t forget Bendito the dog, who completely stole the show; such a sweet pup and the perfect bonus to an already awesome outing. We came up from Portland, Oregon, and all agreed we’d happily make a weekend trip just to come back here again. If you’re visiting Whistler, I’d 100% recommend stopping by Forged Axe Throwing. We’ll definitely be back!

Oh my word. Forged Axe Throwing hit the mark! I had an absolutely amazing axeventure! I just had the most axe-ceptional time! We let the axes FLY - no chill, just thrills. A fantastic experience all around. I was shocked at how much fun I had here. First of all I can’t believe I was able to hit the axes on the board and make them stick, (as so many people underestimated my abilities going into this!) let alone so close to the bullseye! I even got the hat trick with the axe upside down on the bullseye and the hat landed on the handle of the axe! 😲 Because of that, I MADE IT TO THE WALL OF FAME! 👏 If you want to lash out some energy but throw axes these guys have it going! Axe throwing unlocks a whole new level of power and sass! In the beginning there was no aim, no technique, just pure chaos! I definitely got better after more attempts. You don't know the strength you have until you try this place out! A huge shoutout to Maddie! She didn’t just teach us to throw axes - she taught us to own it! If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to tap into that raw strength and power, go throw an axe! Trust me, it’s that good! It was non-stop, high energy, and honestly? Such a good workout too! Don't be intimidated, if I can throw an axe so can you! All in all a time was had! I was able to channel my inner lumberjack! Axe throwing is so thrilling, competitive and seriously addictive! It was a whole vibe! 10/10 for fun, adrenaline & letting loose! I was able to release my inner warrior! This isn’t just an activity it’s pure adrenaline! It’s an epic time of fun, friendly competition, and adrenaline-pumping action! It’s super lively, competitive and all-around a good time! It’s the best way to unleash some fun and friendly competition! If you are looking for something different (and a little bit savage) to do in Whistler, this is IT! We had an AXE-mazing time! The venue is well-designed, with a modern and exciting atmosphere that immediately gets you in the mood for some axe throwing fun. Maddie truly made our day. She showed the highest form of hospitality! Her energy, clear instructions, and encouraging attitude helped even the beginners like me feel like pros! Her guidance definitely took our game to the next level! Whether it was our first throw or our final game, Maddie was there with great vibes and positive energy, making the entire experience unforgettable. It was therapeutic in a way; great way to get some energy out and have some laughs. Whatever your expectations are your experience will be amplified for the better by the staff (Maddie!!) I definitely would recommend trying axe throwing at least once in your life! Would recommend Forged Axe Throwing to anyone in a heartbeat. Everything from the instruction to the environment & vibe far exceeded our expectations. I left the axe throwing with a sense of empowerment because so many people underestimated my abilities to axe throw but I got to prove them all wrong & that was very satisfying! ;)

Pasta Lupino is a cozy and casual eatery that offers a variety of Italian dishes, including housemade pastas and pizzas. The restaurant allows customers to mix and match pasta shapes and sauces for a personalized dining experience. It's a popular spot among locals, known for its authentic pasta and tantalizing pizza options on the lunch menu. Additionally, Pasta Lupino serves as an Italian deli where customers can pick up fresh ingredients or enjoy a satisfying takeout meal.
Mmmm, the soups; chicken corn chowder and curry lentil were warming and flavorful and went perfectly with the soft, complementary bread. The pastas satisfied the carb cravings after a day on the slopes. The miracle of the warm flourless brownie sundae was a generous portion, and between three of us, none went to waste. The space is a bit crowded, so taking off your jacket could lead to fist a cuffs with the table behind you, if not careful. No reservations, but we were able to be seated within 5 minutes of arriving on a Saturday evening.

Nut allergy friendly: Everything good, even the dessert we tried. Time to Bread: 7 Minutes Time to Salad: 18 Minutes Time to Entrees: 35 Minutes We arrived around 8:20PM and waited about 20 minutes to get a table for 6 and a table for 2. The space is small, so they cannot sit larger groups. Don't be afraid of the high prices! The main dinner entrees come with a soup or salad, so it is very filling. Most of my group took leftovers home (I did not, but I skip lunch when I ski.) Complimentary bread with balsamic vinegar and olive oil (4.5/5): Banger. Delicious bread and great dip. Caesar Salad (3/5): A classic. Nothing crazy, nothing bad. Chicken Parmesan (4/5): The Chicken Parmesan was not as crispy as I prefer, but it was very flavorful. The pasta was cooked al dente which may feel a bit firm for some people. I really enjoyed the dish overall and the portion was solid. Tiramisu (4/5): Great coffee flavor notes. I only took one small bite but we shared it six ways. Overall, stellar option for food in Whistler Village and I'd definitely recommend it for something away from bar food at an affordable price.

On the first night we both had lasagne and salads, the staff were so friendly and welcoming and the food was absolutely delicious (a nice change for us on our trip). On the second the staff were again so welcoming, they remembered us and came over a chat, the food again was tasty and I can genuinely say we had the perfect restaurant experience (they also gave us a free bag of gummy bears as a thank you). Fantastic food and service - 100%.

Recommend the meat lasagna, everything else tasted somewhat similar to each other. There’s also a $9 fee for splitting food. Tiramisu was good but had a bit too much cream instead of cake. Veggie lasagna needed more filling. Vista salad was the best appetizer out of the four options. Service was great.

A pasta restaurant that sells fresh noodles made daily. The Alfredo sauce was excellent and not salty. The chicken Parmesan on top was filling. The food came out quickly and was excellent value with good price, making it perfect for when you're craving delicious Italian food. Must try Tiramisu!

Best Pasta in Whistler. Its a small family run with great service. Hidden gem with incredible fresh pasta and pizza. We had lunch and also had ready to cook take away for dinner. We brought home portions of the fresh pasta and sauces and made it at home. The secret hack is to mix the tomato basil sauce with the Alfredo sauce it becomes an amazing rosé sauce, it's killer.

You must try lentil soup here! Believe me its the most delicious soup you will have!! ♥️♥️ kudos to the chef

We ordered veggie lasagna and made our own pasta. We had spinach Caesar salad with Alfredo sauce and added roasted veggies. The fresh pasta was delicious. The veggie lasagna was so good! It's rare to find a vegetarian lasagna option, so I was excited to see it on the menu. The complimentary sides like soup, salad, and bread were good.

The Whistler Visitor Centre is the perfect place to start your adventure in Whistler. You can purchase tickets for various activities here, including gondola rides and backcountry excursions. The center also provides up-to-date information on local trail conditions and offers maps and guides for exploring the area. Whether you're planning a winter ski trip or a summer hiking expedition, the knowledgeable staff at the Visitor Centre can help you make the most of your visit.
The Whistler Visitor Centre is a great first stop when visiting this fantastic place! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great advice and recommendations for exploring the area. From there, it's easy to see why Whistler is such a popular destination. Getting there was a breeze - I took the convenient bus from Burrard Station (booking my ticket online in advance was super easy). The village itself is charming and pedestrian-friendly, with a great vibe. There's so much to do, from exploring the shops and restaurants to enjoying the stunning mountain views. I also noticed lots of people renting bikes, which looked like a fun way to get around. Whether you're into outdoor activities or just relaxing, Whistler has something for everyone. Highly recommend checking it out!

Maybe it was the summer rain or just the quiet of a town without snow, but everything felt a little still. I was surprised to find a %Arabica café here and stepped in for a moment. I didn’t get a coffee myself, just ordered one for a friend, but the space had a quiet warmth that lingered, especially on a rainy summer day.

Super friendly staff at the visitor centre! There are stores inside (with a super tiny Tim Hortons) and nice guides and maps for tourists. Maria was patient and informed us of the paths that we had to take and some tips to get the most out of Whistler. Nice starting point for the trip!

Our family had been enjoying our trip to Whistler until we visited the Whistler Information Centre to ask about shuttle bus information. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. When we first arrived, an older staff member asked us to move away from the lineup, even though the sign clearly indicated “line starts here.” When it was our turn at the counter, another staff member, Sue, responded to our question with impatience and visible frustration. When I politely tried to confirm her answer, she was dismissive and rude. What made the experience even more disheartening was that, from my observation, most white visitors were greeted with smiles and friendliness, whereas our family—being people of colour—did not receive the same courtesy. This left us feeling unwelcome and singled out. In hindsight, we should have simply looked up the shuttle information online rather than visiting the centre, as no one should leave feeling insulted or discriminated against. As Canada is a diverse and welcoming country known for its friendly people, I respectfully request that the appropriate authority address this matter to ensure that all visitors are treated with fairness and respect.

My friends and I had such an incredible time exploring Whistler. If you ever plan to visit for a short period of time I recommend at least 3-5 days. The Gondola ride to see the Whistler mountain and peak-to-peak is a must! You only need one ticket to ride on their Gondolas. Once your on top of the mountain, you can go hiking and explore the natures. Winter time they offer varieties Winter activities-skiing, snowboarding, etc. Summer- tons of bike riding hiking, etc. Gondola ends at 5pm so be sure you have your schedule set!

In addition to the designated dog area, the park features amenities such as docks, a sand beach, playgrounds, tennis courts, and trails.

We loved Alpha Lake Park! It's great place to spend a relaxing day with friends and family. There's a playground for kids to enjoy, a fenced area where you dogs could run around, an area to play volleyball at, washroom to relieve yourself, shower area to rinse yourself in case you decided to take a dip in the lake, picnic tables and bench, and lots of open space :) will definitely go back there next time

We loved Alpha Lake Park! It's a gem! We DID see a smaller Bear and it strolled through and did not bother anybody. It scared me at first, but it seemed to be normal? The park for kids to play on (in my pictures) is awesome 👌. Its very young kid friendly and also older ones too! It's super well built out of large wood logs. The docks are nice to walk down and jump off of, the water is chilly, but refreshing! There is a sand volleyball court on the beach and lots of grassy area. There also is a basketball and tennis court right beside the parking lot. There is a dog 🐕 park too! This location has it all! For young and old! Definitely worth going to. But don't leave garbage around and don't be surprised if you see a bear (but maybe it was just our lucky day 😉)

This is a beautiful small family and dog friendly park. It has a small playground for kids and a small beach and pier for swimming. However, the lake is infected with the bacteria causing "swimmer's itch" which is easily treatable. There are warning signs of this issue and how to treat it. This is a great place for a family or friends' barbecue.

Another gorgeous park! We saw mostly the dog park section, but it was well maintained and fun! There is a closed in and gated dog park here with lake access (via a pontoon) and a big pile of sand if your dog likes digging. There was plenty of free parking.

Nice little park. Lakes is just right for beginner SUP or little inflatable boat as well as swimming. The lake is shallow and not too windy. Not too busy this week either (Aug 30th, 2022) and we got to see local wild life as well.

A cosy and small but beautiful lakeside park with an amazing are for kids to play in. There is a tree house and some slides. The sand beach area next to the lake is also amazing. It is far less crowded than Alta lake but is an amazing place to relax with family and friends. You can launch a kayak or floatable boat easily from here.

Overall it is a well maintained park, and at least in the fall, it wasn't that busy so you have the run of it. There are not many obstacles for newer skaters though and it would really benefit from a few smaller boxes and rails.

Whistler Bungee Bridge offers an exhilarating bungee jumping experience in a stunning natural setting. Nestled amidst Basalt Column Cliffs and Old Growth Forest, with the majestic Black Tusk peak as a backdrop, it is considered one of the most scenic bungee jumping sites globally. The thrill of freefalling towards the picturesque rivers and forests before being safely caught by the bungee creates an unforgettable moment of weightlessness.
The staff were so friendly and made me feel safe and looked after. They were also patient when I needed a moment to gather myself before my jump! I booked the first jump of the day, which was great and quiet, and we took a little walk by the path afterward with our dog. What a fantastic overall experience!!
Alicia B — Google review
What an experience!! Initial 2 second of the jump was intense but it gets better after. It is expensive for a 15s jump plus the additional amount for the pictures but at the end I guess it’s all worth it. They usually prefer to get the tickets online as sometimes they are fully booked and do not accept walk-ins. No difference in the price though. Flat $160 for the jump + 35 for the pictures. This place has mesmerizing view and amazing trails for hike.
Kshiti V — Google review
If you want to try bungee jumping this is the place. The views of the canyon are incredible, the staff is super friendly and professional and you will definitely feel safe and looked after. The jump is just so thrilling, I’d do it again. Also I was able to book it there and then.

I had a lovely time doing the Whistler bungee today! The staff were super duper friendly and helpful, especially the lovely guy from Luton and the lady behind the counter that shows the photos! After my jump I watched lots of other people jump, and could see that the staff were totally encouraging and supportive of those that were scared! Personally I felt 100% safe. It was really fun. The guys who work there even gave me a lift back to Whistler at the end, saving me $40! And gave me a top restaurant recommendation for ‘Balam’ in Whistler Village, where I’m currently sat feeling very full writing this review! 10/10. Thanks guys 🤩 🙏

Such an amazing experience, the staff are great and the location is gorgeous. We walked to Brandywine Falls after our jump (around 1 hour 10 min round trip) which was a great way to cool down afterwards. This was my third time jumping and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a thrill or to challenge themselves!

Huge thanks to everyone at Whistler Bungee for 3 amazing, if scary, jumps. The level of professionalism, coupled with the friendliness of the staff was above and beyond. My attempt at a back flip was woeful though, even with Connor’s helpful pointers! Shout out to Emily for the photos. 😂
Ian M — Google review
Very fun to do with a bunch of friends! Absolutely loved it. The best area to take a video is a little scramble down to a clearing where you park the car so bring a photographer as it will be hard logistically to take videos and run back up for your own jump. Price is honestly quite steep already and photos were additional charge. If they had videos, I would have paid for it, but I feel like photos is such an old business model and not really worth it.

This thrilling experience offers multiple dual zip-lines that provide breathtaking views of Cougar Mountain. With the unique side-by-side system, you can soar through the air alongside a friend or family member, creating lasting memories as you glide together. The longest zip-line stretches 1.
Fun experience despite the rain and the fog. Our instructors were great - all safety checks and demonstrations were clear. All gear (rain jacket, pants, boots, gloves.) available. The only thing to improve could be to wash the gear as they were super dirty 😅 Would definitely try this again when the sun's out for better views.

Absolutely amazing experience ! 10 mins buggy drive to get up the zip line, and then 4 amazing zip lines than can be done 2 by 2 ! The zip lines are amazing and the instructors were amazing too ! With the price there’s other activities like the stack line, the axe throwing, the vallea luminea and there’s a café with few games on the tables !!

Second time going and we had Monica and Brock as our guides. We had an absolute blast. Even with a slight delay due to a safety check on an unrelated trail Monica was great at updating us on the process. Could not be happier with the experience. Looking forward to coming back again next year!

My husband and I were nervous and reluctant, but we are SO glad that we booked this experience during our Whistler visit! Phoebe and Marlee were charismatic, and their light-hearted humor really helped to calm our nerves. It was more exhilarating and thrilling than scary, honestly. The 10 minute ride up to the first zipline and all four lines took just over 2 hours from start to finish. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to fly high above the forest!

Super fun experience with Natalie and Tom as our tour guides. They were super friendly and took lots of pictures/videos for us. My favourite was “Zed 1” as it had the best scenery. “Godzilla” definitely had a lot of speed and acceleration. With a day pass you can play as many times as you want within the day.

shuttle was late, still got there 2 hours before our schedule (3:30 pm) for the superfly to do the aerial obstacle course. we couldn’t try it out neither before nor after the ziplining. imo it’s too expensive to just simply tell no to the customer. there is also no clear information given that we should arrive earlier if we want to do the obstacle course as well. they’re understaffed, but guides were great at least. disappointed

Ziplining was a 10/10 experience. Kowala and Eloise made it so much fun with all the jokes, and their relaxed vibe. I probably laughed the hardest in a while with these two. Plus they made everything super safe and easy to understand. Totally would come again to do some other activities.

The Palmer's Golf Club in Whistler Village is a championship-level golf course designed by Arnold Palmer. The course offers stunning views of the surrounding peaks and has been named one of the most beautiful in Canada. The club is popular with golfers for its relaxed atmosphere, helpful staff, and great value for money.
What an amazing ⛳️ course breathtaking views. We arrived in Whistler two days later. we headed out and play this course, my son and I. The gentleman at the clubhouse was super nice friendly and welcoming I feel bad I don't remember his name but he got us out on the course with no problem and helped us with a cart and directions to The Practice Facility. The young lady got us out earlier on the first tee she super nice answering questions about the golf course that we had. I decided to play the blue tees, not knowing how long the course played. The greens and Fairways are definitely kept up green roll fast on some holes and firm i did get challenge with some really long dog leg holes that requires you to get perfect shots to allow you to hit the green and two. Some of the par 4 and part 5 were a bit long for my son, so we just dropped the ball closer to the green. It's still a good course for junior golfers. After a few holes, we did get backed up, but everybody was friendly, and nobody was in a rush. The back nine definitely was a challenge coming off the turn you are welcome with a full bar and hot dog you can buy. Hole 16 is breathtaking. The tea box is up high, and there are always spectators waiting for you to tee off. Be aware. Overall, this is definitely a bucket list Golf Course I give it a 10 out of 10 amazing staff an amazing course. PS you might see 🐻 walking through the fairways, but the day we played, we didn't see any.
A S — Google review
Fun and very playable track! Played from the whites (6004 yards) and the course was in good condition, considering the near-drought conditions BC has been in for the past few weeks. Skies were hazy from the forest fires, but no question you would get some fantastic back drops to holes throughout the course. Pleasantly surprised to find out the course is relatively flat so it was a good walk. Friendly staff greet you at the bag drop, pro shop and throughout the property - fantastic hospitality! You receive a warm up bag of balls with your green fees (power carts are extra). But give yourself time as the driving range is separate from the course (short 2 min drive away on the other side of the highway). The practice green is by the clubhouse next to the first tee. Featuring 3 Par 5s and 4 Par 3s with large, undulating & tiered greens makes this Arnold Palmer designed course a fun track to play for all skill levels. In addition, the pro shop is an official Nike retailer and carries a wide range of Nike golf gear. And of course, the Palmer’s Gallery Bar & Grill is perfect for the 19th hole meal and drink. Recommend the Palmer’s Punch (Arnie’s signature drink - lemonade + iced tea with vodka!) Will definitely return.

Amazing course! Took too many of my golf balls though 🤦 well maintained and the staff was great! Had to rent clubs which is usually an adventure at resort courses but Whistler had top of the line Titleist clubs including a Scotty Cameron putter
Freddy W — Google review
I played 4 rounds here in 3 days. I’ve traveled all over the world to play golf and this is my favorite course on the planet. I always pay attention to course maintenance and you would think you were the very first person to play the course. It’s kept up very very well. The course lay out is a walkable and the perfect place to spend a morning or afternoon. The bar/restaurant and the folks who work there, including the entire staff, are awesome! Boomer and his talk about the worlds greatest hot dog does not disappoint either. The carts have coolers, club cleaners, GPS, speaker Bluetooth connectivity…honestly I could rave about this course for hours. It’s just so well manicured and not just a beautiful mountain course with majestic views etc etc. it’s the service, level of comfort, perfectly manicured Blades of grass, everywhere. I don’t think I saw one dead patch of grass. Shout out to maintenance, great team of folks working and servicing this beautiful place! If you know whistler and it’s dicey weather, you can play here in a downpour and the course still drains like a champ, it may be cart path only but the fairways are so tight you won’t have to walk far. The grass is squishy and soft, pure, and excellent for reading greens and chipping money shots within 140yards. This course will make you play well. It’s impossible to hit bad shots when then grass is so so good to hit off of. Go there!!!!
Brett M — Google review
Great holiday golf club. Not super hard. Lovely views. Staff fantastic. 4.5 hrs without carts. The pull trolleys are v good, as were the rental clubs
John H — Google review
Very nice course, most holes are forgiving for casual golfers. Our “cart girl” Harley was absolutely fantastic but the course Marshall Cam was incredibly rude and aggressive without warrant from our group, even telling other groups to hit up on us. Cam was incredibly unprofessional.
Carson J — Google review
Top notch Course with star treatment and great warm-up facilities. Challenging, but, fair course. Well designed and immaculate greens. They even have long drive and closest to pin markers for groups. Only complaint was that they couldn't link all the leaderboards/carts together properly for our group of 12. Still impressed with the overall experience. Now if only my golf game could be as impressive. 😜

The Blackcomb Gondola, which opened in December 2018, is a state-of-the-art 10-person Doppelmayr lift that carries 184 cable cars and can transport up to 4,000 people per hour. It connects the Upper Village to the Rendezvous Lodge on Blackcomb Mountain as part of a continuous lift system that includes the P2P and Whistler Village Gondolas, spanning an impressive 13.
The prices are high here, but when you see the kind of engineering for construction this, you think it is amazing to be there. The peak to peak experience is incredible, it’s like flying in a plane, but in slow motion. You have to be clear in your mind that this is a 100% touristic place and don’t expect low prices. The landscapes are wonderful. Try to be before midday to have more from the trip. Expect lots of people in the morning going up. After 2:00 pm is not so crowded but consider going down about 4:00 pm. In my opinion it’s the main and best attraction in Whistler. Usually part of the time it rains, so bring an umbrella. Glacier at the mountains, beautiful woods.

My friends really wanted to do this. I have a fear of heights but this was a very safe and comfortable ride up on the mountain, then going Peak2Peak then back down after exploring the top of Blackcomb and Whistler mountains. The views are AMAZING

A Cozy, Scenic, and Social Ride to the Top! 🚠🏔️ Our morning ride on the Blackcomb Gondola was the perfect start to our Whistler adventure. We arrived around 9:30 AM and bought our sightseeing tickets on the spot—no hassle at all! The staff were super friendly and even gave us a trail map so we could plan our hikes once we reached the top. There were already about 10 groups ahead of us in line (guess we weren’t the only early birds!), but the line moved quickly. We shared our gondola cabin with a lovely older couple, and we ended up chatting the whole way up—it was such a warm and unexpected highlight of the trip! The views from the gondola were stunning. We glided over lush forests and caught glimpses of Lost Lake and another beautiful lake (whose name I unfortunately forgot—oops!). Seeing Whistler Village shrink below us as we ascended was pretty magical. This gondola is such a comfortable and easy way to reach the mountain peaks without breaking a sweat. Whether you're a hiker, a sightseer, or just looking to enjoy incredible views, I highly recommend giving this a go. We’ll definitely be back—maybe next time for some winter skiing!
Daniel Z — Google review
What a beautiful place. The scenery is amazing and the gondola ride is quiet and smooth. Take the gondola up Blackcomb Mountain and hike around the area before boarding the Peak to Peak Gondola which takes you to Whistler Mountain. On Whistler mountain you can take a chair lift to the top if you don't mind an exhilarating seven minute ride looking at the various items people have dropped while ascending to the very top. Take pictures and view 360 degrees around you observing nothing but mountains as far as you can see. Make sure it is a clear and relatively cloudless day for this experience. Now take a short walk to a steel swing bridge (Cloud Raker Sky Bridge) and then out on a steel outcrop (Ravens Eye) where you can observe additional views of snow capped mountains, mountain lakes and valleys below. If you like to mountain bike you can rent bikes in the village and take it up Whistler Mountain where you can bike down the backside. This is a wonderful, once in a lifetime experience you will never forget.
Victor G — Google review
This was a pretty cool experience going up the gondola. I had never been to a mountain this big though I had been to Whistler before I had never experienced getting up to the mountain. There’s actually a lot to do even if you are not skiing or snowboarding. The bar at the top of the mountain is pretty cool and there’s lots of different merchandise to buy at the top of the mountain. The views are spectacular but I did kinda get a little queasy at certain spots because it was a bit high up for.
Chris R — Google review
During our recent trip to Whistler, we booked to go on the Blackcomb Gondola that promised amazing views over the region and a skybridge in the mountains. We boarded our gondola at the Blackcomb terminal which is around a ten-minute walk from Whistler village. The ride was very comfortable with some nice views on the way, but the real attraction is at the top. At the top we boarded the peak-to-peak gondola to take us from the top of one mountain to the other, when we came off we then took a chairlift that took us to the summit where the views were out of this world. The hike to the chairlift is around 15 minutes over uneven terrain but it is worth it if you are able. There is a first nations statue that looks amazing in its surrounding, you may have to wait a few minutes to get your turn to get a photograph, but it is worth it. We walked across the skybridge which is high enough to send shivers down the spine of even the bravest but the reward is the most amazing view and backdrop for photos. After we got off the bridge, we spotted a hoary marmot who was casually digging up grass and munching away, a top moment on our trip as we hadn't seen marmots anywhere else. Overall, the gondola is good value for money and a great way to spend a couple of hours when visiting Whistler.

It was last day of closing and it was a lot of people. We showed up at the opening and it was packed. It was very quick ride up and then we took Peak 2 Peak gondola. Then we hiked up to the top point and we took drag lift spent some time up went down. We stopped by cafe with a nice view and had some drinks (very overpriced) We took Whistler mountain gondola down and we got lucky because we were the only people in the gondola and finally I could film something. We spent 3 h all together. We are not professional hikers or bike mountain lovers we just wanted to have a good time and see panoramic view from the top of the mountains.

From start to finish it was one of the highlights of my trip. First off, the guides are amazing—knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about the area. They wove in fascinating stories about Whistler’s history, geography, and nature spots as we rode through villages, lakes, parks, and scenic trails, which made the experience feel rich and immersive rather than just a casual ride. The route itself is beautiful and well chosen. The Valley Trail is paved, smooth, and offers a variety of scenery—forest, water, neighborhood views—it’s a lovely balance of nature and local charm. Because the tour is private and guided, things move at a pace that suits the group, which makes it more comfortable and enjoyable. All the gear was in great condition—bike, helmet, lock, etc.—and the fact that bike rental is included is a definite plus. Also appreciated: the safety briefing, the maps, and trail tips. Even though weather in the mountains can be unpredictable, the guides are well prepared and make sure you’re too. If you’re looking for a memorable, relaxing, yet active way to see Whistler—and learn a bit about the place as you go—I can’t recommend the Valley Bike Tour enough. Whether you ride often or this is a rare outing, you’ll leave with beautiful views, good exercise, and a deeper appreciation for the local environment. Thank you Whistler Eco Tours—this was a 10/10 experience.

We just got back from a wonderful tour. Daly is the epitome of fun and upbeat I expect from Whistler culture. This is our 3rd time here and I haven’t seen a bear 🐻 until today. Unexpected sightings included a young bear eating, bald eagle, 🦅 and cute ducks 🦆 Seeing my first bear while in a canoe 🛶 with my daughter is very memorable. This was a core memory for us. Although I know how rare this is. We got lucky. 🍀 but just book with Daly as he brings the good energy!

The best experience one can have! TOTALLY RECOMMENDED!!! From the staff to the tours they provided, can't wait to do it again with them. My family loved it and we loved it. The tour guide was super knowledgeable and helpful and friendly! Can't say anything else but thanks for giving us the time of our life We did the Kayak Guided Tour through the River of Golden Dreams in Whistler!

My husband and I did the Green Lake Adventure Paddle tour with Jeannie earlier this month and it was SPECTACULAR! Jeannie was very knowledgeable and great company to chat with! Green Lake is GORGEOUS, and paddling the end of the River of Golden Dreams was beautiful too! The hike in Whistler's Ghost Town was also very cool and Jeannie told us the fascinating history of the area. We definitely recommend Whistler Eco Tours and specifically the Green Lake paddle tour!! And HUGE thank you to Jeannie for being an absolute delight and making our day so special!!! :)

Amazing experience, so much fun on the Green Lake tour! The views are just incredible! Our guide (18 Sep, 2pm) was the best, and the combo of him and Scott is hilarious. He took great pictures and videos for us. The group was fab and we just had the best time with perfect weather 🙌😎

We booked the self guided river of golden dreams canoe trip which was a highlight of our holiday. We enjoyed paddling across Alta lake and then down the river, taking in the beautiful scenery. We had to negotiate quite a few beaver dams which was fully explained to us by staff, and made the journey a real adventure. This has inspired us to try more canoeing. We would definitely recommend to others.

My two sons (ages 17 and 12) and I rented a canoe for a tour of Alta Lake. My kids are inexperienced paddlers, but we were able to take a nice leisurely lap of the entire lake in about 90 minutes (including a snack break). We were advised that it would take 3 hours, so we booked the half day (3/4 hours). At the end of the day, we used the excess time to row around certain spots again and goof around on the lake - more quality time without gadgets. We were on the lake for just over 3 hours and had fun - great weather and views.

In Whistler, beyond its renowned ski slopes, there are year-round adventures like ziplining to experience the mountains in a different way. For families with kids, there's an awesome fully accessible playground area where children can enjoy slides, swings, and water features. The playground is conveniently located near shops and dining options and offers seating for supervising adults. It's a beautiful rustic tree house layout with a mix of surfaces for kids to play on.
Its a beautiful rustic tree house 🏡 layout of a playground setup , its a mix of concrete and soft surfaces, its got swings, it's got slides , lots to climb around, washrooms nearby, picnic tables, chairs to relax.....its on the north end of the village but in a good location to nearby hotels/residences etc ....its a clean area too .

A fun little playground for kids including slides, swings, and some water area. Close to many of the shops around for clothing, food, and beverages. There are also seats and sitting areas for those accompanying the kids to play and supervise. Near many of the private single stall washrooms. There are also covered picnic seating around this area.

Very nice park with water features. Lots of places to sit in the shade and sun. Lots of picnic tables. Clean washrooms. Shopping and coffee nearby.

Great place for kids to run around and play. Two different sized tree houses for small and big kids to burn off their energy. There is also a pump for kids to play with to see how water flows with and without a dam and a couple different types of swings for the kids.
Leah G — Google review
This is a great playground. There are several zones for the kids to play in all for different age groups, and plenty of places for parents to sit and enjoy the coffee from the surrounding coffee shops.
Don A — Google review
Busy, but very new and nice playground. It has a small water play area, but the water pump was broken. The slide and other area is very pretty and fun for younger kids. Beautiful background with the mountain as well. Surrounding also has lots of restaurants and cafes for parents.

Awesome fully accessible playground area for kids and parents alike. Unfortunately, if you don’t know the area it’s harder to find and even harder to find places to park close by but overall it’s such a nice place for kids to run around and play and when your a disabled adult using a wheelchair it’s so nice to have place to be able to watch and still interact and play with your kids
Josh B — Google review
Excellent play area for 2-8 year olds, plenty of things to play on/in, and soft rubber ground to avoid bumps. There's seating all around the play area for adults to rest and keep and eye on their kids.

Nita Lake, nestled behind Nita Lake Lodge, is a serene and private oasis surrounded by trees in Whistler. It offers stand-up paddleboarding as a popular activity, with the option to challenge yourself with paddleboard yoga or simply enjoy leisurely gliding on the water. Located south of Whistler Village in Creekside, it is known for its tranquility and is accessible via the Valley Trail for a peaceful bike ride.
Picturesque view. its really beautiful lake in Whistler.

Beautiful! Has a nice little dock you can sit on and dangle your feet off, do some stand up paddle boarding from, launch a kayak/canoe, etc. The water is freezing, but that's to be expected — after all, it is coming directly from a glacier!

Nita lake is the middle lake of the chain of Alpha - Nita - Alta lake system which are all next to each other in a line. Nita is the 2nd largest of the 3 and there is no motorcraft allowed on Nita. There is fishing here with rainbow trout as it is stocked, and there are locations along the shore for waders and fly fishing ,and if you want to go out on a fishing float or belly boat, you can spend the day drifting and spincasting or flyfishing all day on this lovely large lake's calm inviting waters. There are many people who use this lake for activities such as SUP and kayak, canoeing and the like. you can see rafts of lashed together SUP in the middle of the lake with people socializing and suntanning all day. There is a public dock on the one side and multiple small beaches for people to hang out. Around Nita is creekside and you can go north to Alta lake along the Valley Trail that runs alongside all 3 lakes. Great place to bring the famliy and hang out day after day.

When visiting Whistler via the Sea to Sky Highway, make sure to take in the impressive Stawamus Chief Mountain. This granite monolith is a testament to how stone shapes the local landscape. Fathom Stone Art Gallery is dedicated to showcasing the beauty and craftsmanship of stone art. The gallery features elegant designs made from various high-quality stones such as jade, alabaster, and onyx, many of which are inspired by British Columbia's natural landscapes.
What an incredible experience for my art-loving kids at the Fathom Stone Art Gallery, located on level 1 of the Westin Resort & Spa hotel. During the stone carving class, Jon was incredibly patient, generously sharing his experience and many technical stone-carving techniques. He also had on hand all the equipment under the sun required to carve the desired details into the soap stone. What an incredible memory my kids will enjoy for many many years to come ❤️. The art gallery itself also included beautiful works by many different local artists. If you're nearby, or love sculptures I highly recommend a visit! Thank you Jon!!

We signed up for the sandstone carving class and Jon was so accommodating and experienced from start to finish. I loved talking to him, it went by too fast. My daughter was so happy with finished piece of jewelry. Thank you so much!

Gorgeous gallery!! Awesome collection of carvings, sculptures and jewelry. Jon is extremely knowledgeable and professional. My daughter took a stone class... she told everyone she encoutered how excited she was beforehand, and raved about it after! Besides her beautiful creation, Jon helped her quickly turn a simple rock into a pendant she's so proud of. We'll be checking in again on our next Whistler trip for certain!

Terrific experience with artist & instructor Jon, for my Stone Carving Class. An extensive selection of carving tools combined with Jon's engaging instruction made for a great afternoon. Highly recommended for both kids and adults!

Unexpected highlight of our ski trip was carving our own Inukshuk! John was awesome and while it wasn’t always easy the process is so rewarding. Weirdly, I think theirs may be one of the highlights of out trip!

Our kids had a great time taking the stone carving art class with John. He was a great instructor and very attentive to all their questions and curiosities. A memorable 2 hour spent learning and creating custom art pieces that they took home.

The soapstone classes with Jon were recommended by a friend and so my daughters and I chose the carved Innushuk class. This was the highlight in an awesome trip to Whistler. Jon was super patient as he explained the process to my kids and they loved every second of it. The class was meant to be 2 hours - the girls and I were so engrossed that we took closer to 4 hours, but Jon never once hurried us along. We all ended up with totally unique mementos of our time there and they can’t wait to come back and carve an animal. Highly recommend these classes for anyone who is wanting a cool creative experience.

Ski school
The Ski and Snowboard School at Whistler Blackcomb offers a fantastic learning experience for all ages. The diverse range of group lessons and packages cater to beginners as well as experienced skiers and snowboarders. The instructors are highly skilled, the facilities are top-notch, and there's something for everyone.
A Perfect Ski Season for Kids – AMDP Ski Camp The AMDP Ski Camp is truly an excellent program, offering a perfectly structured weekend schedule throughout the ski season. From early December to mid-April, kids wake up early with excitement, driven by their love for skiing. They get to play, learn, and grow together with a group of peers, making every weekend an adventure. The value for money is outstanding, as the tuition includes a ski pass and training from CSIA Level 3 instructors. The ski school also offers a variety of winter camps tailored to different skill levels and skiing disciplines. However, spots in this program are extremely limited. If you haven't been part of it before, you need to act fast as registration opens in the spring or summer. Fortunately, returning students are guaranteed a spot for the next season. During a recent visit to the mountain, we had a thrilling experience encountering the kids on the slopes. Together, we took on the challenge of skiing down McConkey's, a run with some difficulty, starting from the cliffside entrance. However, safety always comes first—know your limits and ski responsibly. Wishing God’s protection over the children and all ski enthusiasts for a safe and joyful skiing season! ⛷❄🏔

I took Jackie Hui’s ski class today and had a terrible experience. I gave him 2 stars: one for teaching us how to turn and stop, and the other for showing us a quick way to get down the hill. The class lasted only about an hour, and we wasted a lot of time waiting for another team member to get his pass, but the instructor didn't make up for the lost time. The worst part was that the instructor ignored my husband and me for 90% of the class. We were the only Asians in the group, and he made no eye contact with us. He gave us very brief instructions compared to the detailed guidance he provided to the white family from the USA. He learned their names but referred to us as "you" and "you," which felt very rude. My husband struggled to stop and fell a few times. The instructor didn't help him up or show him what to do, instead asking him to watch others. When a member of the white family had the same issue, the instructor carefully taught him how to stop. I don't want to label him as a racist, but that's how we felt. I hope others don't receive the same treatment.

I’ve had the pleasure of taking both snowboarding and skiing lessons at this ski school, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! My experience has been fantastic, from my first snowboarding lessons two years ago to my recent skiing lessons. My snowboarding lessons were phenomenal, and this time around, the skiing lessons were just as amazing. From start to finish, every interaction was positive and memorable. When I had a minor issue, the staff went above and beyond to ensure I felt taken care of. My first skiing instructor, Mel, was absolutely incredible. As someone who had never skied before, I was nervous, but Mel made everything feel easy and fun. She was incredibly pleasant, patient, and helpful. I also had the pleasure of interacting with Martina at guest services. She was beyond helpful and took the time to answer all my questions thoroughly. Martina even helped me navigate some details and, to my surprise, gave me a credit for another lesson as a kind gesture! Another instructor I had the pleasure of working with was George, and he was also phenomenal. He made learning so much more enjoyable, and I felt supported every step of the way. Lastly, I had the chance to meet Kostos, who was one of the most genuinely kind souls I’ve ever encountered. You could tell he truly loved life and helping others, which made my experience even better. Overall, this ski school has been an outstanding experience. From excellent instructors to wonderful guest services, they truly know how to take care of their guests. I will definitely be coming back for more lessons and recommend this place without hesitation!

Had a great experience on day one of a 3 day adult group lesson with Craig, he gets 5 stars. He showed genuine interest in helping each of us improve, encouraging us to push ourselves outside our comfort zone with helpful guidance…my skiing improved after day one. Day 2 was the weekend and Craig was off, it was a very different experience. While the instructor was pleasant, it wasn’t the same level of instruction. He also had several additional students, not his fault. The money grab from Vail resorts to change the Max 4 to the general adult ski lesson (pushing more than 4 per group) has significantly diminished the experience. The weekends will be heavy loaded, buyer beware, and the quality once had with Max 4 lessons is a distant memory. IMHO, it’s Vail’s attempt to push the private lessons, which no doubt are significantly more helpful, but not accessible to most people as it’s rather cost prohibitive. Just another example of a big corporation ruining what was a great offering in exchange for profit. Vail resorts removing the Max 4 gets a -1 star! Would only consider this again if I came up during the week.

If you truly LOVE your child- do not send them here. I was so excited to send my daughter to ski school here for her 3rd birthday and it ended up being a nightmare. I went to check on her around lunch time to make sure she was eating and having a good time and first off none of the instructors knew where she was and finally I spotted her helmet on a table with her head on the table fully passed out in the corner… I nudged her 5 times to wake her up (she never falls asleep in public) and then I was told she was crying so hard that she passed out… what adult in a teacher role allows a child to cry so hard that she falls asleep and is left in the corner on her birthday. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. This is completely unacceptable and my wish is for no other child to go through what mine did.

I had a pretty negative experience that I feel needs to be shared. This was my very first time skiing and I did two days at Whistler. On Friday I skied for a few hours and did the first time skier lesson. By the end of the day I felt comfortable doing basic turns and stops in the training area. I had some trouble turning right but could slowly work through it. I even did the very easiest green chair lift route at the end of the day. Day two I did the beginners group lesson in the afternoon. The instructors placed me with people much better than me because I told them that I did one green run even though I said it is my second day skiing ever. We got to the training area and did one single carpet run in the training area. The teacher saw me ski for 15 seconds and goes “okay we are ready to gondola up to the long green run.” I told him I’m not ready, I feel super nervous about it, and I can’t comfortably even turn right yet. He basically said “aw you’ll be fine.” We started off on the green run and it was absolutely terrifying. There were a thousand people there and the slope was completely daunting to me. It honestly seemed really dangerous for me to go down. The others in my group were easily getting through it so the instructor had to solely focus on me while they all waited. 10 minutes into this I had fallen twice and I told him that I can’t do this, I’m not skiing down. He told me that I have to ski down, I’m not allowed to walk. I told him I’m not doing it and took my skis off. He was upset because he isn’t supposed to let me do this, but told me to walk down and he will meet me at the Chickpea hut restaurant. I walked to that and waited for half an hour for him to come back. I don’t know where he went or what I’m supposed to do. At this point I didn’t trust him at all. The only way for me to get down was to either walk or ski down. I decided to grip it and just slowly ski/walk down by myself. This experience was awful. There were several parts that were *extremely* crowded and I have no idea how I would have skied through them with the group if I chose to follow the instructor.. I walked these parts because I undoubtedly would have crashed into people. I think the classes here are okay for literally day one skiers. I would 100% not trust anything past that and I would recommend that you be vocal and push back hard if you feel uncomfortable with what they are doing. The instructors seem to be young men with lots of personal ski experience but don’t necessarily know how to listen and accommodate different groups of people.

First time to Whistler and we loved it! It snowed 3 out of the 5 days there - nice winter wonderland experience since there still some holiday decor. We scheduled ski school and was paired with TC. He was great! He has so much ski experience from all over the world and plenty of tips for us. We booked the lesson on the Blackcomb Mountain, which lacked a lot of beginner/training area. Best advice - book a lesson on the Whistler Mountain. There is a really good training area to practice. A lot of the green trails are quite steep, compared to other greens in Colorado. Overall, the mountain is beautiful and we can’t wait to go back!

The booking process is seamless, ensuring that your holiday plans come together effortlessly—just like many travelers have experienced when arriving from afar during festive seasons.
Wonderful booking process, if their delivery is as good it will all be perfect!! Addendum in Jan 2022. Just saw my post from 2018. It was THE BEST HOLIDAY EVER!! All the arrangements were marvellous and worked perfectly. As we arrived from Australia the week before Christmas, having lessons, equipment, sleigh ride and Christmas lunch all booked before we got there made it so easy!! Thanks guys, cannot recommend you highly enough.🐊🥂🐊🥂🐊

Peak to peak gondola experience was very nice. It was cloudy the day we went up the mountains. But it was still worth it! There are good hikes up there. Fantastic that you can take all lifts with the 360 experience ticket. We really enjoyed this day. We can recommend to do the hike/walk down form the peak of Whistler mountain to the Roundhouse lodge.

This place is pretty good, but expensive. Everything is expensive, very expensive. However, it is expected, isn't it? One thing I don't like is the service - most agents are great, but unfortunately, I met one who is not. The place is the Whistler visitor center and counter is the one I registered for a Zoom Ziplines activity for my kids. The woman agent took my kids' information and my credit card, then asked the couple behind me what they need and processed their purchasing holding my stuff on her table. After that couple was done, the woman agent even tried to give my credit card to them and said, "Don't forget your credit card." The only reason I can think about why the woman agent did so is that I am an Asian and the couple white. (Or because she didn't like my English?) Hope you won't meet that woman agent if you are not white. (I just realized I had better check my credit card bill to make sure the woman agent didn't charge that couple's purchase to my card.)
