Pedro dos Frangos Review 🍗🐙🐟 Fresh and delicious roasted chicken I’m not usually a chicken fan, but at Pedro dos Frangos, I couldn’t stop eating! The sardines were fresh, crispy, and perfectly meaty absolutely amazing! The octopus with baby potatoes was tender and full of flavor. 10/10 highly recommend! A hidden gem in Porto you must try! 🇵🇹✨

Really nice restaurant to get dinner. Service is amazing. Always with a smile from the servers. We ordered as an appetizer Bacalao cakes. For main entry we were greedy and ordered a Churrasco mixto and tripes with beans Porto Style. I know it was too much we couldn’t finished. Flavors were on point. The mojo with garlic they use for the grill mix we ordered was awesome. We couldn’t order dessert we didn’t have room for it.

A Must try!! 🥰 See the Chicken roasted over charcoal and evenly crusted. Meat is Juicy not dry. Fries is up to individual taste. I love crispier McDonald’s fries more…. The Greens is an optional side but you can order a small size to. Beer to complement the food. Go for the tap if you want Estrella ! I gone Super Bock ! 🇵🇹

I would say 3.5 stars. We came without a reservation and thankfully did not have to wait long for a table as we came just when they opened. When we left the queue was looong… so maybe it’s best to make a reservation. We had 1 chicken w fries and a side salad. Portions are Big! Chicken was nicely seasoned.. will be salty if you eat all the skin. Chicken breast wasn’t as succulent as I expected it to be but I guess it’s hard to cook juicy breast when cooking so many chickens at once. Fries were very very mediocre, will probably do away with it next time. Salad was nice and fresh. Service is a little dodge.

Unexpectedly the BEST meal I had in Porto. Grilled chicken was amazing tender, but the secret sauce (literally) is the Piri Piri sauce which elevated it to a whole new level. Get the octopus rice as well - very tasty. Portions-wise, 1 dose for the chicken and half dose for the octopus rice did very nicely. (Quick note: the queue actually starts on the second floor, so do look out for it if you don't have reservations. The queueing system was quite confusing to us.)

Choose your time wisely - I think we got there by about 7 and got a table without a problem, by the time we were leaving there were about 30 people queuing. The food was very nice and well priced. We had the pork loin and the chicken. The only thing that wasn't great was the cake we ordered for dessert but tbh should have known better. it's a good place if you want a hearty meal.

Great meal only 30 euro for 2 people inclusive of entree, Main and 2 glasses of port. We had fried sardines and veggies. Sardines we crispy and tasty veggies were nice cabbage cooked in butter, for mains we shared piri piri chicken and fries, the fries were delicious and the chicken was juicy and tender. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Great traditional Portuguese food. Went here for lunch on a Sunday without reservation, got a seat at the bar. Service was very friendly and efficient. Had the roast lamb with potatoes and rice - so good! Lamb was juicy and full of flavour.

What a delicious experience! We were lucky to have come upon this restaurant as it was next door to our hotel. The menus offered just enough options and variety. Delicious wine and exceptional food and service. You will not want to miss you on this dining experience when in Porto! Reservations needed!

Off the hook amazing food atmosphere and service! Go. Just stop reading and make reservations. Veal is fantastic. Enough for two. Duck rice is also great. We order red wine from Douro, salad, cod app and Milk from heaven with cookie. Not sure what else I could possibly say than just go here and find out what real Portuguese cuisine and hospitality is like. Love this place!

A quaint, well-maintained restaurant with traditional azulejo tiles and frequented by locals, a sign of quality. The service is friendly and helpful. The menu features characteristic dishes, beautifully presented and generous portions, and the wine list is excellent. Prices are in keeping with the ambiance. The veal is exceptional, and the hake is incredibly fresh. Although it's not in the city center, it's located across from the subway.

Great local food. You’ll leave with a full belly. Just know that the appies and garlic toast are not free and will be charged to your bill so you might as well eat it.

The famous goat was a disappointment. The three person portion was mostly bone, meat tasted a bit bitter, otherwise rather tasteless. Texture wasn't as soft as i would expect it to be based on roasted goat experience i had elsewhere. Not worth the price

If you can look past the loud tourists, the bifanas are truly yummy. I love the spice and how fresh they were. The vegetable soup was very good too. Nice job!

The restaurant had a simple but pleasant atmosphere. Servers were pleasant and friendly. The sandwich was tasty and very well priced, the only thing I didn’t like was that the sauce made the roll soggy on some parts. I do not like soggy bread but great concept and worth trying out!

Update: I ended up coming here 4x during my 3-day trip to Porto. It was really addictive. Lovely bifanas! This was a great accidental find. We came here after having a racist experience at the Piri Piri chicken store opposite and were very heartened by the impartial service here. It turned out that Conga is actually very famous. Bifanas were absolutely delicious - salty, soft meat with a slight tinge of spice, I could have eaten two in a go. We tried different combinations - with rice and fries, but decided that the original style of having the meat with bread was the best as it soaks up the meaty greasy spicy goodness. Sangria is also fizzy and great in the heat, but slightly sweet. So good we came back twice in a day!

Authentic Portuguese food and experience. Came recommended from host and was worth the visit. Had Bacalhau and Steak as options on day I went. The Cod, rice and bean/greens dish were excellent! Quick for food and service was great, and best yet not a tourist trap with all locals. Will visit again.

We went here for a traditional bifana and we got it! The broth was so flavorful and a little spicy. Seriously delicious. We also got the veggie soup and the caldo verde - both were very bland, but hot and fresh. The atmosphere was a standard, sports place, nothing special. The water closet was a bit messy and smelled strongly of urine. Really great value, it was the most affordable meal we had while in Porto.

I visited this restaurant hoping to enjoy an authentic francesinha, but unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. The biggest issue was the service: the staff was unprofessional and overly familiar, calling me "my love" and touching my arm, which made me uncomfortable. I don't know if it is part of portuguese culture but a more respectful and professional attitude would be greatly appreciated as a tourist. As for the food, while I understand that francesinha is a local specialty and many people love it, it wasn’t to my personal taste. However, I respect that this might just be a matter of preference. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place based on my experience, mainly due to the service.

Good afternoon, I had dinner here today. And I am very disappointed. At first glance, the food looked good. But the reality was completely different. The meat smelled slightly off, but more importantly, it wasn't cooked through. I didn't finish my meal and reported everything to the waiter. I was asked if I wanted the meat cooked further. I said no, because there wasn't much left. Then the waiter took the food away and that was it. I find it really outrageous to serve someone raw meat and not even apologise, let alone make the customer pay the full amount. I understand that this can happen sometimes, but the staff's reaction must be different!!!!

My wife had Bacalhau à Braga, which was nicely prepared, and we finished with Aletria — a dessert made from thin noodles simmered in sweet milk and dusted with cinnamon. Incredibly delicious francesinha. Came here solo and immediately got a seat at the bar. Short wait for the sandwich. The sauce is delicious and comforting, and the meats with bread are amazing. Francesinha baked in a wood oven! Ordered the Francesinha Santiago - Bife do Lombo, that upgrades the beef to siloin, also for that price comes already included the fried egg and the french fries. Aletria for desert, it was also top notch! Delicious! with a Café were both the perfect send off!

Went there after seeing all the positive reviews and was highly disappointed. We ordered francesinhas and caldo verde. When the francesinhas came out it looked really good at first look. However the sandwich itself was not hot and lukewarm at best. Both the fries and the bread was very stale.

We visited this place yesterday and had an amazing experience! Our waitress, Marriana, gave us the best service we’ve had in all of Portugal. She was approachable, always smiling, kind, and gave us genuine recommendations. We tried the passion fruit sangria, octopus, and sandwich #14 (with Brie and caramelised onions). Everything was excellent! The sangria was rich in citrus and fresh fruit, the octopus was perfectly cooked and impressively served as a whole (not just a few tentacles like in most places), and the sandwich was absolutely delicious—even though we had initially hoped to try Bifanas, but Marriana’s recommendation did not disappoint. The prices are also on point. The only small suggestion would be to serve lemon wedges with the octopus. Highly recommended!

Words can’t properly describe how much I loved sandwich no.8 . It was absolutely amazing, the pork was so tender and all the ingredients of good quality. Service was always fast and nice at the 2 locations I’ve been to ( Progresso& Tradicional). I will be coming back for sure each time I will visit Porto.

Honorable mention to the staff, they were all amazing and made us feel really welcomed. The food was amazing too. They have lots of different options so it was amazing. Every dish was spectacular. Would definitely recommend and give the carrot cake and chocolate mousse cake a try.

The perfect 5 star restaurant with great service, super food and grand ambiance. The authentic dishes are served alongside the contemporary food menu that has a vast choice. The drinks are served from a large selection available.

While in Portugal, trying a Bifana is a must. The Bifana here at Case Guesdes were good but not as good as the ones we had in Lisbon. This restaurant does have other Portuguese dishes on their menu besides Bifana so it is a great place to stop by and have dinner especially after a long day of walking.

Good place to try the Francesinha, ours came loaded with lots of meat, it was great value for the money, in addition to a $3 euro gigantic plate of fries. The gravy it came with was also delicious and made the dish so much better. I have to admit we were skeptical of the francesinha but glad we decided to try it here! We also ordered the octopus but could have given it a miss as it was a bit mushy and not very fresh, although it came with a large portion of spinach that was seasoned well.

The best francesinha I have ever had in my trip around Portugal. The sauce tasted handmade, the meats were so tender and juicy, everything was full of flavor. O asked for oranges juice and the oranges were freshly squeezed.

visited this brunch place twice while I stayed in Porto and I have no regrets about it! the salty pancakes were unlike any other breakfast food i’ve had and filled with spinach making it nutritious!! since i visited twice, the second time i tried the salmon salty waffles. both dishes were my all time favorite breakfast meals I’ve had in my lifetime. i visited their sister restaurant, Floresta cafe, and since i brought this up they gave me a complimentary smoothie when i went back to this place! they are extremely kind and welcoming to tourists such as myself! other than the free smoothie, i got the ginger latte iced , and a peach matcha the second time which was a seasonal drink i believe. would recommend to anyone visiting porto.

A delicious brunch spot. The atmosphere is fun yet cozy. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, we felt taken care of. And the food - wow! So, so, so delicious. We enjoyed the mango smoothie, strawberry banana smoothie, the Do Norte French toast, and the breakfast burger with roast potatoes. The crispy choriço on the burger - yum! The fruit on the French toast was so fresh and flavourful and the orange port sauce/syrup was great. 10/10.

Wow. I think that the menu over explained things such that we were truly wondering about what to order. My suggestion is to just say - best breakfast bun a biker could hope for”, and “tell us if you have allergies”. As the texture was like a soft cloud, and the favour was a storm of beauty. Their “Good Local Wine” was great for 5€. Good pour. Worth trying to find this place. We went at 3pm on a Sunday. Seating was available.

Great breakfast spot! There can be a wait but there’s lots of seating inside so normally the wait isn’t too long. All the food was delicious and the portions are generous—one dish each ended up being too much for us. Looking forward to visiting again!

First of all, the staff was very attentive, friendly, and polite. We explained we were in a hurry, and the service was very prompt. Both the French toast and the salmon royal toast were delicious. Prices were average: 8.95 for the French toast and 12.95 for the royal toast. The portions were quite filling. There's a line of people out the door, but you don't have to wait long; they're immediately attentive and let you in. I'll definitely be returning.

We visited Do Norte Café in Porto for breakfast and overall had a lovely experience. The café is cozy and welcoming, tucked away on Rua do Almada. The décor is relaxed and warm, with a pleasant mix of indoor seating and some natural light. What we liked: The portions are generous — we left satisfied. Food was fresh and flavorful (smoothies, toasts, eggs, etc.). The staff were friendly and attentive, and service was fairly prompt even when the café was busy. It’s pet-friendly, which is a nice touch if you’re traveling with a dog. Things to be aware of: It can get crowded, especially in the morning, so you might have to wait a short while for a table. Some menu items are on the pricier side for Porto, though the quality helps justify it.

I liked! The food is tasty and fresh. They don’t let too many people at once, so you don’t need to wait too long for the food that takes time to be prepared. I especially liked the Marinated Cavala. It’s not at an ordinary another sushi place. I think, people who want to explore Japanese dishes beyond sushi would enjoy it the most. It’s better to reserve in advance.

Excellent food in a cozy setting. Small place that puts love into their food. Suggestion is to order 4 dishes as they’re quite small and are to be combined. Sushi is smaller than average, but the quality is spectacular. Every single bite was delicious, especially the gunkan. Price follows quality.

Actually good Japanese / sushi in the area. Some dishes are a bit more fusion but overall quite good. Really enjoyed the handmade gyozas and the ceviche and the futomaki. Fast service, small restaurant so do book ahead or go when they open for a chance to walk in

SHIKO - TASCA JAPONESA made a great first meal in Porto, Portugal. The best of local fresh seafood prepared by a Portuguese chef inspired by Japanese izakayas. First time seeing Turbot on any sushi menu, two preparations were fantastic. Horse Mackerel was a highlight. Seafood stuffed Okonomiyaki was a great twist on traditional preparation. A great little place I'd seek out regularly if I lived here.

Absolutely loved this tiny gem of a restaurant. We had the “Japanese tapas” or small plates. Octopus in a delicate béchamel sauce in a risois style fritter, a sweet sesame chicken dish, gyoza with shrimp, tempura green beans, and a really great tuna Tiradito. Plus brownie for dessert! The staff were lovely, the table cozy and the service fast. Highly recommend.

The staff was super nice, the restaurant is relatively small so definitely make a reservation or else there is a good chance they wont have space. We did have a reservation but where a bit late, around 20/30 mins(due to heavy traffic), but luckily they still had a table for me and my girlfriend. We loved the food, it tasted super nice! My favorite was the crispy chicken and my girlfriend's the Tuna dish. Definitely a good place to eat if you are closeby in Porto!

Ordered a Bifana sandwich and a Caldo Verde. The Bifana was delicious, but the Caldo Verde was a bit bland. It's nice to see the old ladies busy in the kitchen. You can tell they care about the food. It's right across Campaña station and still very affordable. Give it a try.

This is pinnacle comfort food and an amazingly low price. Hot soup, bifanas, beer, it's the family-friendly feeling you get when you sit down and eat here. It just feels cozy, and food tastes like home cooking.

Found it online. My accomodation was around the corner. So each time i was passing by, hungry or not, i was stopping for their special Bifana. Also healthier than any burger or kebap.

Hit up this restaurant for quick snack after arriving at Campanhã station. Vibe out on the street was good as it was well attended. Inside had AC and lots of seating which was pleasant surprise from the busy street side tables. The bifana tasted good but we don’t have any other bifanas to compare it to. It was sandwich only so sides need to be ordered with it. We ordered bovine and chicken burger meals and they arrived bunless keto-style. All good if you expect it but we sure didn’t! Service was good, our server came back several times to check on us and spoke good English.

We came for a late breakfast and ordered the Parliament Benny and Fan-sea Bagel. The food was good, but it didn’t blow us away. The sandwiches were a bit dry, especially the one with salmon—it could have used some sauce or maybe more avocado. The waitress was friendly, though very shy. The place is nice and well-kept. Overall, it was fine.

Came here for the pancakes. Surely, they didn’t disappoint me. Sooo fluffy but I don’t know if it was bcs I ended so full that omg, I don’t want to have a pancake in a while. I recommend to go with more people, so you can try more than one dish and share. Portions are very generous, I promise. The place was super quite, despite the music was funny, and the service was correct, all the girls were nice and super chill. Also the owner or manager really attentive and seams to care for his customers. All good vibes around here. The only thing is that the food took a bit in arriving and I would add another option for pancake sides (like chocolate or another fruit)

The food is amazing. The proprietor is easy to talk to and has an interesting story about how their business was started. He was so nice! The food came out quickly and was fantastic, and all the servers were so sweet. We ended up going back again. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Overrated definitely. The place has a nice atmosphere. The food is usual and more about wrapping. So looking at the prices and ratings - expectations were much higher We had hair in one of the dished and had to cancel it. And it was not to pleasant process to replace it (though it was deducted from a bill) Portugal has lots of places that worth visiting and that level of rating

We came here for breakfast and it was fantastic! I had the “desert eggs” (basically shakshuka— great savory vegetarian option) and my partner had the “like a boss” (chicken and waffles) and we both LOVED our dishes! The coffee was amazing too, and the staff were very friendly and helpful and even gave us a map of the city. Definitely stop by if you’re looking for brunch in Porto

This restaurant has the best customer service for making you feel welcome. They ask you for your preferences for seating and even if you need to charge your phone. The food is fine, they do not have jam for your toast and they only have one cheese if you want for your eggs and it comes on the side. We ordered a side of Mac n cheese and it was forgotten, but did arrive eventually. The seating is the best in the city and it's quiet, intimate. You feel relaxed and not pressured to be in a hurry.

Great place for brunch. Staff lovely and friendly. Food is really good but some dishes could be better like the shakshouka and the avocado toast. Favourite thing here are the cinnamon buns (rolls), Really so good! Also the potatoes that come with the dishes are awesome! And the orange and carrot juice is yum. We serendipitously had lunch here. This is one of the finest restaurants in Porto. The personnel were amicable and well-informed. They patiently elucidated the diverse dishes. The cuisine was undoubtedly superb and delectable. You should sample the abade prisco at least once to explore the flavors of Portugal.

This was the first time we ordered patatas bravas on this trip and they were delicious. We ended up getting them every place we went and by the end of the trip the ones here were still my favorite. My friend loved the pork croquettes and actually asked for me after our meal because she loved them so much. Friendly and helpful staff. The menu has a lot of options!

Food was okay, Pork knuckle was really tasty, falling out of bone, do delicious, however side dish that you get with it was also good but portion is very small and not in proportion with the meat where you get really good amount of it. Other dish however, was nothing special, bacalar with egg and vegetables. It had some tomato taste which is fine but overall lacking some spices or something. Position of restaurant is nice, on the street.

Since I moved to Portugal, it has been my dream to try chorizo cooked over fire. And it just so happened that during this trip to Porto, when I remembered about it, we were right next to a place with a good rating and lots of reviews. The chorizo turned out just as I imagined — first a little fire show, and then juicy chorizo with cold beer — everything you need to enjoy the last sunny days. But be careful: if it’s windy outside, you’ll get a dose of fear along with your dish when the flames start blowing in your direction.

I genuinely don’t get the hype of this place — the food was super cold, flavourless and the price per quality is off (9,90€ for a prego with Brie and 5,90€ for a small glass of wine is exorbitant). They get an extra star for the super nice staff and incredible roof top terrace, but overall not worth it!

Good flaky pastry, custard wasn’t the best. Service was non existent. Perhaps from the crowds and inefficient order. If you are ordering takeaway you can order at the counter but if you are planning to sit down you need to wait for the waitstaff to come take your order which took like 15/20minutes even though I only wanted 2 tarts. Decided to takeaway instead. Better places in Porto for egg tarts so can give this place a miss

This was an odd experience, with more wrong than right, but some real positives at the same time. We were looking for somewhere to have lunch, liked the location and the look of the menu, and sat down. We both opted for the Lisboa salad at 11 euros 50, including a soft drink and one of the Nata pasties, which is a very good price by UK standards. I ordered a sardine salad, and my wife ordered a Mediterranean salad. The waitress came back and checked if I definitely wanted sardines and I confirmed that I did. We waited around 35 minutes for the food, and when it came I got a tuna salad instead of a sardine one. I really didn't want to wait for another prolonged period for it to be replaced, so I just ate it. Both salads were very good. We then had our Nata pastry, which was spectacular, and a coffee, which was also very good. Despite the very slow service, and the wrong order, I came away with a great deal of sympathy for the member of staff. She was friendly, cheerful, and working hard under difficult circumstances, trying to do everything herself. Since COVID hospitality has been struggling across the world and it's very difficult to get the balance of service, ingredients and price right. This was a nice place to watch the world go by, with a lot to see on a warm day, so it wasn't a great deal of hardship to have a long wait. Everyone didn't feel that way however, and there was some grumbling and complaining from other customers.

Had to wait almost one hour to be served. I tried ordering directly from the counter but they won’t let you if you are eating in. I ended up having to wait for a waiter who was clearly occupied elsewhere and ignored my table for more than 40 minutes. The Pasta de Nata was nice but I don’t think it was exceptional and worth the wait. I like mine a bit crunchy on the outside and that was personally missing. I also got a Galão, which was good. Overall quite cheap (except the cappuccino which is overpriced). I spent under €4.

This place serves a most generous brunch menu for only €26 for two persons. With bread, jams, ham, cheeses, yoghurt, coffee, and freshly pressed orange juice, it has everything you need before venturing out on the streets of Porto.

Enjoyed having my breakfast here. Very nice croissant with ham and cheese. For sure the Nata is amazing! Surprisingly they have a staff who speaks Cantonese too! So good to see familiar faces when travelling. Will definitely recommend this place to my friends who’re visiting Porto!

As a tourist, this place is a paradise, especially if you're feeling weary from your walking tour. It's conveniently located right next to the Capella de las Almas. However, it's unfortunate that the power outlets for charging aren't functioning. Overall, I absolutely love their pastel de nata and hot chocolate! The toilets are also clean.

Heard this is the best place in the city to try Pastel de Bacalhau, and this place did not disappoint. I tried this cordfish fitter with cheese and this was crispy on the top and cheesy inside. There is a strong smell and taste of the cordfish but still this is delicious. The store itself is very well designed and they have outdoor seating options available. The pricing is moderate and the quantity is decent.

The codfish cake is a traditional portoguese snack especially from the countryside. The twist here is that they add cheese in it. You can get it in a set with a Porto wine for a reasonable price. You can even keep the wine glass as souvenir! The codfish cake itself is decent, even if it’s my first time trying it. You get a good taste of the fish and the cheese. It wasn’t served hot in my case. But the service and ambiance of the place makes up for it, as you can see in my photos.

I tried the pastel de bacalhau with cheese from this place. It was okay, but I felt it could have been better. The flavors were a bit lacking, and since it’s mainly potato and cheese, there’s room to make it more flavorful. That said, I had a great experience trying this authentic Portuguese codfish cake. The atmosphere is lovely, the presentation was excellent, and the staff were really nice. They took the time to explain what we were ordering even before we placed it, and they were very welcoming and cheerful throughout.

€6 per each of the bacalao cakes is a bit much. They are traditional so you kinda have to buy one, but they are super dry, and extremely fried. They are eatable, but if you dont get one you wont be missing out.

The Pastel de Bacalhau doesn't taste rich or good like in other more traditional locations. Less Bacalhau in the potato mash results in a mild taste. Inside was a mild cheese to make it special but cheese inside a Pastel de Bacalhau is not traditional. It was dry and not that great for 5 euro each. But the ambient of the location was amazing. I think it's more for tourists.

Low evaluation for Service because it’s self service.. so you need to work to get your expensive food. Bolinhos de bacalhau used to have more cheese 2 years ago.. we got the regular and the extra cheese and even the extra does not have so much cheese like they use to have The place is nice inside and also outside Incredible expensive for what it is

We were walking by and it looked busy. We were just curious what's going on here. The lady kindly explained what's this fish potato bite and in a package it comes with a wine. "Portugal tasting experience" Total €12,5 The shop is really nice, go upstairs to the second floor to have a view from the balcony in good weather & enjoy the library room. I think it's touristic pricey but overall experience with the place is very good.

Soup!! This Imperial Cafe site converted to McD’s. The interior is fun with chandeliers and stained glass. It served LOTS of people in an efficient manner. Staff was working almost as fast as customers made a mess. Outdoor seating is great. Loved the carrot soup for a light supper.

The Imperial McDonald’s in Porto is the most beautiful McDonald’s I’ve ever seen in my life! The building, the stained glass, and the overall design blend together perfectly, creating a truly unique atmosphere. I ordered a drink using the kiosk — the staff were polite and handed me my order in less than two minutes. I would definitely recommend stopping by to take a few pictures and maybe grab some food to go. It’s a McDonald’s experience like no other!

McDonald’s in other countries is not like the US. The quality of food is better, for example they have chicken wings, not just tenders and nuggets. The fries taste the same and I had a Japanese Chicken Sweet Chili chicken sandwich that disappeared.

Beautiful interior and the fanciest McDonalds ever! Big chandeliers, stained glass artwork, and modern design. Food was great - we ordered the Big Arch, Fries, and the Chicken Snack Box which comes with 4 BBQ wings, 3 tenders, and 10 nuggets. You can expect the same quality and service as other Mcdonald locations as they strive to maintain a global standard internationally.

It is quite a rustic McDonald's that I have ever been to. The interior and decor is amazing and the vibe is awesome too. They have range of options of food in great deals. Also, it's well located from nearby tourist places, train and bus stations, accessible easily by bus or walking.

A warm, inviting space created by a PORTO native ( Carla) who’s African Families Roots (1/2 Capre Verdean and 1/2 Mozambique) inspires the menu. The cocktails are unique, cloyingly sweet but with a kick! The appetizer of Yucca > Smashed > deep-Fried > -and artfully served in a small metal pail with 2- dipping sauces are just enough to inspire you to order more of what her kitchen puts out! On one visit we tried the beef-cheeks an earlier meal, we enjoyed the SHRIMP Curry- both were quite tasty ( AND, I do recommend adding some of their house-made PiriPiri / “Oh-Jesus!!! Hot-sauce)

The waiter was very very nice and explained the menu in detail. The food was extraordinary. We had the pork cheeks and the vegetarian Calulu. All the other plates at the other tables also looked very delicious

Delicious food and wonderful service in a beautiful setting. The food is a fusion of Portuguese and African. We followed the owner's recommendations on what to order and we were very happy with everything; 3 different appetizers, 4 mains, a dessert, and African coffee. Everything was fresh and delicious. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The owner was so kind and helpful, answering all of our questions and explaining all of the dishes. I can't wait to return.

Less busy than the regular tourist spot. Our guide took us here as a detour from the spot that’s closed. It’s surprisingly good food. I love that we are the only one during their lunch hour. Or our lunch hour.

The food is pretty good when you can actually get it as they are out of items often. I ordered two chicken pita sandwiches and they were supposed to come with fries. The fries were missing. The chicken pitas and the alheira balls were good though.

We stopped by this restaurant on our way back to the hotel for a quick bite before catching our flight. It was early, so the place was quiet, but the fun décor gave it a lively feel. We ordered a mix of dishes—salmon avocado tacos, steak burger with fries, sushi rice and salmon burrito. Everything was tasty, and overall pretty good value for money. Service was easy and relaxed, and we left feeling satisfied. I’d be happy to eat here again.

Best octopus we got in Portugal! There is a seafood stall with incredible quality product at a really cheap prices, also loved the ones with fresh fruits. Trully recommended if you want to grab a fee bites and try different things.

I recently visited Beira Rio and had a really nice experience overall. I ordered a pizza, and it turned out to be delicious — freshly made, well-cooked, and served in a good portion size, definitely worth the price. What I really appreciated was the variety of vegetarian options available on the menu, which is quite impressive and makes it a great place for vegetarians as well. It’s not always easy to find restaurants with such a balanced mix of options, so that was definitely a plus point. The location of Beira Rio adds to its charm. It’s beautifully situated, offering a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere that makes it a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy good food. The ambiance is modern yet cozy, making it ideal for both casual meals and small gatherings. Another thing I noticed and liked was that the staff and people around communicate well in English, which makes it comfortable and convenient, especially for visitors. Overall, Beira Rio is a great place for food lovers, especially those who enjoy quality vegetarian options and a peaceful dining environment. With good food, friendly service, and a wonderful location, it’s definitely a place I’d love to visit again.

We had a very good octopus salad and glass of vino verde. We sat outside at the picnic tables. There will be smokers outside but the inside was packed!

4 of us ate for 64 euro including drinks. Great portions and food was seasoned thru and thru. I encourage anyone to eat here. So good. Links and appetizers started us off. The grilled chicken was really good and the sides of rice were seasoned nicely. It was great on every level. Highly recommended.

Been there twice in my time in Matosinhos. Loved everything about the place. Tasty chicken and salad. Fairly priced. The waiters are all welcoming and seem to enjoy their work. Don't hesitate in going there.

Atmosphere is amazing. The food is ok, like all other Portuguese typical resturant. Price is little higher than other Portuguese restaurant.

Perfectly cooked squid and prawn, taste like fresh from the sea. They serve half portion so that you could try more dishes.

Good barbecue. The dishes of the day are usually very good also. They have a huge dinning room, so you are almost certain to find a table. Staff is very expedite and friendly. The place is a bit noisy, but you can have a conversation without much trouble. They have lots of TV sets all over, which I don't particularly like. Try not to seat right below the giant screen and you'll be fine. They have an exclusive parking lot, which makes it very easy to get there by car.

Great atmosphere. Good service by our guy (with earring) but some bald server kept making scenes. Costeletao was way smaller than advertised but the chocolate cake was great.

We had a couple of days left in Porto and were craving piri-piri chicken, so we found Churrasqueria Portuguesa do Amial, about 20 minutes outside the city, and took an Uber over. It was around 5 p.m. and the place was completely empty, but thankfully open. Even though we had the whole restaurant to ourselves, it’s a really big place with tons of seating in our room, another large dining area next door, and probably more in the back. You can easily imagine how busy it gets later with locals, especially since the prices are so affordable. The seating was very comfortable too, which made it a great spot to relax and enjoy the meal. We actually found this restaurant from watching Mark Wiens and Taste Porto on YouTube, and we’re so glad we followed their recommendation because the food was A+. The caldo verde soup was spot on, loaded with chunks of chorizo and perfectly balanced. We ordered the chicken and ribs combo with extra spicy piri-piri, fries, and rice, and everything was exceptional. Honestly, it was one of my favorite meals from our 14-day trip through Portugal. I loved it so much that I kept eating even when I was full, just trying to hang onto that flavor before heading back to the States. We don’t have anything like this near us, so it’s something we’ll definitely try to recreate at home. Other than the pastéis de nata, this is probably the food we’ll miss the most from Portugal. The service was great, and we ended the meal with a whiskey tart ice cream cake that was incredible. If you’re in Porto and craving authentic piri-piri chicken or ribs, Churrasqueria Portuguesa do Amial is the place to go. Great food, comfortable setting, and an experience we won’t forget.

The food was good. We liked the atmosphere most, very family oriented, with small and large tables. Natural lighting and internal decoration was very nice.

I’m not from Portugal, so I only visit from time to time. This spot is one of my favorites in Porto, and I’ve been here more than once. There’s a waiter on every corner, and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Every waiter is extremely attentive and checks in from time to time to see if everything is okay. No matter whether I ordered meat or fish, the quality has always been incredible. Everything was cooked to perfection, and the quality was outstanding.

Fantastic churrasqueira not far away from downtown Porto. As a tourist, I'm always happy to see lots of locals eating here. Make sure to ask for the hot sauce to go with the meats! Great value and large portions.

Portuguese steak house! Great place for bbq style meat, I ordered the chicken and it was very tasty, with its own smokiness flavour, the potatoes and rice sides were huge! Staff is very friendly and service is quick.

This as Bob Ross once said was a Happy Accident. We were trying to get back to a similarly named restaurant that we had previously gone to. It could not have worked out any better. The food was amazing, the desserts even better. Plus a very refreshing pitcher of Sangria. The owner has a tat saying "Serendipity" and today's visit was serendipitous indeed. And the decor is wonderful.

Lovely restaurant located just infront of a church. We had the pancakes and were pleasantly surprised. It was fluffy and not too sweet. And the service staff were all smiley and happy to serve.

Beautifully designed restaurant with lovely details. The restaurant really tells a story with the architecture inside. Many places to be seated, outside patio with sunshade and a beautiful indoor dining room. The Benedict I got was interesting, not my favourite style of Benny as I’d prefer a more solid base rather than the pancake. But regardless, it was very good. Their coffee is excellent. Service was great as well, our host was funny and attentive to our needs, and even moved all our stuff to the outdoor patio when we requested. 8/10!

Would skip coming here to eat. The food is just aesthetic but the flavors are just not there. We asked for the pancakes which were extremely dry as if they were from two days ago, the acai bowl is really not it, and the same with the red velvet cake very very dry. Plus not even the drinks made the cut. I have always been a fan of Negra near Casa da Música so I was surprised with the contrast between these two. This one just feels dry. I came here after the renovations expecting better but it was still the same and I was very disappointed. This is my review and im clearly not a competitor, and everyone has different tastes of course but I just didn’t enjoy and there was no kindness. My friends felt the same. P.S: they were very passive aggressive in my review which is just an opinion, and for me that shows lack of consideration towards clients feedbacks. Google reviews are not a place of hatred but to express our considerations. I visited this place and absolutely loved it! The portions were huge 😍 I even had to take my carrot cake to go. The atmosphere was fantastic: spacious, beautifully designed, with plenty of seating in a quiet neighborhood close to Bolhão metro. Perfect spot to relax or work for a couple of hours. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the overall vibe was pleasant. Thank you for a lovely evening!

Recommend the bakery, not so much the cafe. If you want to eat there, do not make the mistake of ordering from the cafe menu they give you! (Limited options, cold and unappealing pastries). Instead, take a picture of the pastry you want from the bakery and show it to the waiter. I didn’t realize they had this option until I overheard a staff member telling another customer :(

Bakery with many options! We ordered a variety of the pastries to eat in. Weirdly none of the savoury pastries are heated up, so everything was cold and honestly not very good. The carrot / ginger cake and chocolate cake were the best things we got. Might be better to order as a takeaway to heat up at home.

unfortunately highly would not recommend the mango smoothie. it was 4.40€, but it was extremely bland and did not have any milk or cream (isn’t that what a smoothie means?). it tasted like a little bit of mango and a lot of water. pastel de nata was just ok, can get better elsewhere

One of the best coffees in Porto thus far. Purchased a chourico bread, cod cake, and carrot cake. All great The carrot cake is highly recommended. Location was busy, though service was excellent. Right around the corner from Livaria Lello and Lion fountain.

Bao’s is one of my favourite places in Porto. I’ve been a customer for years, specially through takeaway and delivery. But lately, the quality is just not the same. No restaurant should serve food like this, the bread completely overcooked, ripped apart and I also ordered my favourite dessert, the black sesame ice cream and the bread was also overcooked and dry, it was terrible. Please do better!

We stopped to get a night snack in Porto and my husband decided to buy the burger here. It was his first time eating a Taiwanese burger. For him, it was ok. The price is also reasonable.

We ordered the beef bao and the chicken bao, they were very quick to serve and it was very tasty. I also ordered a salad which has a sort of peanuty sauce which I really enjoyed, the apple tea was also very good. For dessert we had the sesame seed ice cream bao which I thought was amazing but my bf didn't appreciate that much so it's a matter of taste. Overall it was a very pleasant experience

Commenting as a Taiwanese, this is the best Taiwanese restaurant I’ve ever had in the years I’ve been living in Europe! The variant- crab bao is such well made that I think it’ll make it in the Taiwanese market too. Kudos to the chef who’s not even a Taiwanese, you can cook better than me🙈

We ordered a couple of vegan baos (jack and tofu), mandioca chips and beer. For finishing a Nutella cheesecake. Recommended!

Wow! So good, fresh, and fast! It’s a fast-food like environment, but the food is beyond that. We had the meat, pork belly, and tofu baos, with the amazing manioc chips. Everything came in under 7 minutes and was delicious. With two “finos” that cost us 26€.

I tried the vegan tofu bao. As an idea, it was great. As for the taste it definitely fell short - the tofu was unseasoned and not firm to be placed in a burger/bao. The mango sauce was the dominant element of the dish. I could barely taste the onions or the daikon. The staff are friendly and welcoming.

I absolutely love Honest Greens for its delicious food and welcoming atmosphere — it’s one of my favorite places, and I always enjoy coming back. However, today I had an experience that left me disappointed. When we arrived, there were no clean or available tables, so we had to wait for one to be free. Once we sat down, the table was still dirty from the previous guests. I politely asked the waitress to have it cleaned when my friend’s food was brought out. Unfortunately, she ignored the request. Then, when my own dish arrived, she calmly placed the plate right on the dirty table, over the crumbs and mess. I asked again for the table to be cleaned, but nothing happened — even after waiting for five minutes without starting my meal. Eventually, we moved to another table. Ironically, a large family sat down at our old table shortly after, and one of the women wiped it herself with a napkin. With all due respect to the waitress and full understanding of how demanding the job can be — would it really have been so difficult to ask a colleague or take a moment to clean the table? Such a beautiful place with amazing food truly deserves more attention to details like this. After all, enjoying a meal is also about the cleanliness of the space.

This restaurant is a bit chilly inside, but it has a nice atmosphere and good decorations. The service is average, yet the vegetarian food is excellent and healthy—definitely 5 stars for me. The only downside is the old, worn, and sticky menu cards, which should be replaced.

We really enjoyed a meal here at this restaurant, and especially liked the healthy menu with multiple vegetarian options. The place was busy, but we found a table fairly quickly. After placing our order, the food came out pretty quickly and everything was delicious. Prices were very good, also. We will definitely return here again and will try out some of their other locations.

My favourite restaurant in Porto! As a vegan there were many things to eat. The food is fresh, delicious and beautifully presented! The hummus is amazing! We ate breakfast and lunch and dinner there. Great value for money! There is meat, fish, eggs and vegetarian and vegan options. The vibe inside is also lovely and the courtyard gorgeous. Only negative is the music can be too loud and isn’t great and the chai latte wasn’t nice but we ate there so often in 2 months. LOVE!

I had a wonderful experience at Honest Greens. The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was pleasant and inviting. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the ordering process easy – you order at the counter, and your meal is brought to your table. One great advantage is the option to refill your drinks, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, a highly recommended spot for a relaxed and tasty meal.

We went there two mornings in a row and are probably going to go back there each remaining morning of our trip since the ambiance, service and food are perfect. We loved it ! A must go! Prices are good also. So cosy. I got the Smoked salmon plate the first day and the Matcha Pistachio Pancake the second.

This was by far the best we had in Porto for a great simple reasonable price dinner! We had the grilled chicken and the ribs for 1 each and shared a potato for 2 which 1 would’ve been plenty. A bottle of vinho verde, chicken for 1, ribs for 1, and potatoes for 2 it was only €25! We even had left overs to take home for another meal! It was so good!!! Service was fantastic and so friendly and good English spoken!

It's a neighbourhood chicken and grill. We had the picanha and it was pretty good if a little oily. My heart was singing :) only takes Portuguese cards but luckily we had one.

A really good plant based restaurant. A great and varied choice of food options, and reasonably priced. I ended up going 3 times during my stay in Porto. Each visit deliciously satisfying. The staff welcoming and friendly.

Kind Kitchen deserves five stars for its amazing pastéis de nata, lovely staff and pleasant atmosphere alone. The main courses (francesinha and chimichuri steak) were oversalted but the vegan pastel and the vegan affogato were an experience unlike any other in Porto. The place feels welcoming in terms of decor and also very much thanks to the staff, and the location is great.

Lovely vegan restaurant. Yummy pastel de Natis (but quite pricey at 2.50 each but similar to some other vegan places.) Huge portion of chips to share - big portions in general. Staff are lovely. Interior is lovely. Not a lot of fresh things on the menu but what we had we enjoyed!

Excellent place, the food is scrumptious, the whole "kindness" vibe is real and lovely to witness. I have been there twice and we had 4 different dishes, all of it heavenly cooked. The tea and lemonade doesn't come with sugar, but they have if you ask and even better, they offered me Agave which is delicious and healthier than sugar. Love the place. Recently got the try the dessert for the first time, and the cheesecake was beyond any expectations. Vegan and absolutely out of this world.

I’d start by saying this would be 3.5 if Google allowed. Very nice venue, chilled vibe, staff lovely and prompt. No real AC to speak of and wooden chairs without a cushion on is one of my biggest hates in restaurants. Now to the meal: White wine sangria: Delicious, very refreshing and good value for money! 4/5 Nachos starter: easily the best vegan nachos I’ve ever had. Portion size isn’t huge but still delicious. 5/5 Seitan burger with bacon: the burger was excellent and the chips were delightful. 4/5 Francesinha: no reflection on the restaurant for this one as I just do not enjoy this meal ( I didn’t get it, partner did). There’s just too much going on. 1/5 Crazy vegan egg: this thing blew my mind. How they managed to replicate an egg so accurately is beyond me. Even smelled like an egg. 6/5 Brownie with ice cream: this thing was tragic. Brownie is served at room temperature and was so so dry / stale. Ice cream was nice that went on top Overall I’d say 3.5/5 but more places like this need to stay open so I’ll say a 4 overall.

The food was amazing. And the staff were super friendly. It was very welcoming. The boss quickly greeted us once we stepped in. She also went around to all the tables to greet and check if we needed anything. Tons of local Portuguese, and Koreans old and young came in. We knew it would be good food even before ordering. We ordered definitely too much for two people but we ate every last bite. It was just that good. We were too full so we said maybe no ice cream with the Hottoek. The boss recommended the dessert with ice cream, so we had to add it. We left super full but also super satisfied. If we were to stay a few more days we def would have come back

Lovely Korean food in a little side street but worth the visit. Korean born owner operated. Street parking available and vegetarian options on the menu. Quite a few customers from Asia were there when I went. That’s always a good sign! I’d go back!

If you want authentic korean food in Porto you need to come here! Everything is delicious and the portions are big. I personally recommend the bibimbap. It’s light but filling. They also have a variety of korean fizzy drinks and alcohols. The owner is also super nice and welcoming!

Had a lovely dinner for two here the other night. We went for kimchi jjigae (김치 찌개) and japchae (잡채), which was plenty. Although the japchae is listed as a starter, it’s a pretty big portion. The staff were helpful and friendly, plus they speak excellent English. Highly recommended :)

A very nice Korean restaurant in town! We went as a group of two and ordered three dishes: honey and soy sauce fried chicken (without rice), dumpling salad, and gimbap. The food was amazing, we were super full and even had to take some leftovers home. The service was excellent as well. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Korean food in town!

We ordered the soy honey chicken, grandmas kimchi stew, 6 handmade meat dumplings, Omu rice, dol sot bi bim bap and the salad Kim bap. And everything was SO delicious & authentic! The sauces were all very good too and we just wanted to keep eating more! My Portuguese mother in law liked it too! I can’t wait to come back. So so good! 😊 I only had the omu rice photo. The rice was saucy with this sauce that was a bit sweet and tangy and cheesy. It went really well with the kimchi stew. I think Ondo’s kimchi stew is the best I’ve had in Portugal.

The best pork ribs and steak in porto with amazing price

Amazing mixed plate with sausage, chicken, bacon/gammon, steak and ribs. Some of the best charcoal grilled food I have ever eaten. The food was so tender and full of salty and charcoal flavor. Great wine and desserts too. Would recommend anyone visit here.

Delicious large servings of food. Our server, Caeser, was fantastic. He was very informative and patient with our table of 10.

We bought a whole chicken and half ribs ,rice and salad yesterday. It tastes good. The staff are friendly and speak English well We decide go to this store again. Today we bought mixed BBQ , salad and rice. We enjoy this meal very much Highly recommended

Just WOW! We are lucky to have this unassuming looking restaurant on our doorstep, but once you step inside you enter a culinary kingdom. We got a takeaway but you can also dine inside in a clean, simple setting. The food was amazing, and great value. Be warned - the portions are huge. Obrigado a todos.

Honestly here, I am quite disappointed because of the cold bun , low quality potatoes, fried too much and they forgot about the olive salsa and cutlery . Also on the menu it says chickpeas vegan burger, but it tasted everything else, besides chickpeas.. I was very impressed about the Ipa beer, very very good taste 👅, also found a lovely staff member who was very nice, the rest of staff seem really annoyed with their work. Overall, I will come back for the beer, not recommending the vegan burger 🍔, sorry 😔

Great craft beer place with sunset view. Had burgers and fried pigs ear. The pigs ear was interesting but probably not for everyone's taste. It had a nice smokey coating.

The food and the beer are fantastic and it’s one of our favorite spots in Porto. We were there today and they had a special carnaval menu that had one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. SANDES DE MORTADELA, QUEIJO E MOSTARDA is so good we came back later and split another one. It’s crazy good.

It’s a venue with great views and great events. I really liked the vibe. You can grab a drink and enjoy the beautiful weather😍

Staff were good and knew their beers, very helpful. Seating area outside has some good views and is nice and shaded by London Lime Trees, very nice in the afternoon sun.

Great spot for beers and snacks. Lots of beers on tap to choose from. Some benches to sit on, and a small green area overlooking the river. Gets lively in the evening!

The pork ribs and steak with egg were absolutely delicious! The location is very convenient—just a short walk from Campanhã train station. Highly recommended if you’re traveling to other cities like Braga or Régua.

Most people come here for takeaway, but we chose to sit here and my salmon was super juicy. The guys were very kind to us, I recommend taking a sneak peak at the deserts up stairs :)

We came in a group of 10 and we are extremely satisfied with the food and service. Very good grilled chicken and it was juicy and flavourful. The sussage is a must to order . The steak is nice too . They also recommend a good wine to go with it. The price of the food was very reasonable and the portion was big. Is a MUST to visit if you are in proto .

Service was okay ...a bit too funny but always polite. But: the chicken kebab was black burned from outside and raw from inside. The fish for my wife was burned as well. The mussels in my 'arroz de marisco" were a bit to old and the shrimp intestine was horrible. The basic taste of that stew was good, but I got better ones at other places

great spot for casual eats. we got the chicken and bacalhau à brás, both of which were yummy. the service was great, and our server was very attentive, kind, and helpful. would come back again if we’re ever in the area :-)

Good value for money! Good food and super generous servings of rice/fries/chicken! The staff is superb and friendly too :) It's amazing how the same food & servings will be priced 2x or 1.5x more just a few blocks away. We ordered a serving of fries and they gave us an entire bucket!! The portions are huge I swear 😄✌🏻Go and visit!

The food here is genuinely good, with classic Portuguese flavors and generous portions. We ordered the Bacalhau à Braga, which came in a huge portion easily enough for four. The “arroz de feijão” (bean rice) was also a hit — especially with my son. I also had the “prego no prato”, which was tender, flavorful, and well served. Now for the experience: service is very much in the traditional Portuguese style — short, rushed, and not exactly warm. Our waiter even tried to suggest pricier dishes instead of what we ordered, which felt a bit pushy. The restaurant was hot and stuffy, with no air circulation, which made the meal slightly uncomfortable — likely to save on air conditioning. Overall, come for the food, but don’t expect friendly service or a cozy environment. Just know what you want, stand your ground, and enjoy the flavors.

A gem of a place, We discovered this traditional Portuguese restaurant by complete serendipity! The place doesn't look like much from outside but inside is a pretty big restaurant with a bar and with a back garden too. The grilled cod was absolutely fresh and delicious. It was served with baked potatoes, capsicum, onions and olives....all very good, and slathered with olive oil. I added a generous sprinkling of salt and chilli 🌶 oil to custumise further :). The portion size was way more than expected. I asked for the half portion (18 euros) and that itself was good for two. I had to pack half of it. The rice and beans (3 euros) was good too...simple but wholesome and delicious. It seems like a very popular place for locals too. Such good food at that extremely reasonable price is like a dream come true! Totally recommend this place!!

What a find! Just steps away from our accommodations (Oporto Loft), Churrasqueira Palacio has a very nice selection of dishes from which to choose and seating both inside and in an outside patio. We had a flight mid afternoon, so got there early, and glad we did, because people begin to stream in, and before long there were literally about 100 people there. So I’d say this place is really popular! My wife and I shared a whole. Peri-peri chicken with fries (absolutely delicious!), and the price, including drinks and tip, was just less than €25. It’s closed on Sunday and Monday, otherwise we would’ve eaten here more than once!

Excellent home made Portuguese food, generous and delicious. We have ordered half portions. Bacallao and pork ribs. Excellent quality, texture and flavours the fish was easy to cut, the ribs had a lot of meet. Service was very friendly and were at all times attention to the details. Portions are huge and food is delicious. I usually eat a lot but I couldn't finish the plate I got for one person😅. Usually I eat more than a normal person and I was more than satisfy. I'll definitely come back and recomend this place.

Here they cook quickly and deliciously. Reasonable prices and excellent, fast service. Portions are very, very large! Very tasty Bacalhau! An excellent option for lunch after visiting the Gardens of the Crystal Palace!

Incredible fusion and balance of flavors. You can have a “menu of the day” for ~13 euros which changes daily. The ingredients are fresh and high quality. I had a salad with tomato and watermelon that was one of the best bites I’ve had all summer. It seems a little bit off the path if you’re visiting Porto, but definitely worth the visit. Thanks for such an amazing experience!

Amazing place for weekday lunch and Saturday brunch. To me, this is a pretty unique place. Changing the menu every day is a lot of work. I had a wine bar, and the charging menu even seasonally was a really headache. I would say most of the times combinations work. The only recommendation would be to dare more with seasoning and spices.

A different lunch menu with very tasty food and amazing dessert every day, and very nice people. The moqueca was great and the chocolate lava cake to die for. Highly recommended for a simple but filling and delicious lunch.

Though it might not be an absolute must-visit destination, if you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth a stop - you won’t regret it. I tried their veggie lasagna and instantly fell in love with it; the taste was simply exceptional. Mafalda’s offers a genuinely enjoyable dining experience that leaves you satisfied and eager to return.

My wife and I have traveled a lot together in Portugal, so when we say that this is probably our favorite place for lunch here in this beautiful country, that might be saying something. Definitely stop by Mafalda's when you are in Porto - and more specifically in the characteristic harbor district of Matosinhos - you will really not regret it. Original recipes, not expensive at all, super healthy and very friendly: everything a person could want.
