Bar
Botteghe Colletti is a charming and offbeat bar in Palermo that attracts a creative crowd and students alike. The tiny space features an opulent interior reminiscent of a 1920s cocktail bar, while the outdoor area allows patrons to admire street art and enjoy drinks on summer nights. The peeling green facade, vintage decor, and complimentary platters of aperitivo add to the cozy and rustic atmosphere.
Absolutely lovely little bar tucked away in a charming alley in Palermo. The cocktails were well-balanced and creative, the service was friendly and attentive, and you can tell they genuinely care about feedback — everything felt thoughtful without trying too hard. Great spot to stumble upon and even better to return to.
Kolja A — Google review
In Palermo, we stumbled upon a beautiful cocktail bar with outdoor small tables, offering an excellent selection of cocktails. The atmosphere was vibrant and pleasant, enhanced by a dedicated waiter who went above and beyond to ensure a great experience.🍹🍸🍹

We stumbled upon this by accident and it quickly became our favourite spot! Ambiente is really nice and the drinks are great! Waiting staff is also super friendly and fun. They make their own liquor and it is excellent. Try the pineapple spritz - best drink we had in Palermo!
Margun D — Google review
Favorite Bar in Palermo, the best spritz and cocktails:) you can sit right by the street and sip your drink while feeling like a true local. The owner Patrick is a sweetheart, he will always find a seat and a drink for you! Highly recommend!

If you only have a short time to be in Palermo, you have to stop here! The waiter was the most entertaining man we’ve met, who really kept our spirits up in the hot hot summer!! Also, the vibes are immaculate. Great food, homemade spritzes, and so many laughs!

Stylish cocktail bar with street-crazed indie types spilling onto the cobbled street in the evenings - cocktails start at €5 and include craft beers, thoughtfully chosen Sicilian wines and more. The music is good and DJs are occasionally booked, making it a great place to take a break from dinner or just enjoy some tunes.
A small café with the best coffee in town! The cappuccino is made at the perfect temperature, and they offer different kinds of milk. Cozy, charming, and full of heart — a lovely little spot!

An absolute gem in Palermo! A stunning place with a unique vibe, fantastic music, and a bartender who is both professional and incredibly friendly. The drinks are phenomenal, and the prices are unbelievably fair. A must-visit spot!

Best cafe and bar in Palermo! They make your drink like this is the most important thing that day, it so rare and heartwarming, thanks for that! And the ginger mojito is the most delicious coctail I've tasted in years, still dreaming about it ;)

Wonderful little gem serving genuinely top quality cocktails. These guys treat it like an art form, and pay such attention to detail. We went back three more times in a week for an evening aperitif and really enjoyed the tasteful playlist. Immense value for money at 7-8€ a cocktail. Favourite bar in Palermo.

Such a lovely bar in a great location. Lovely local spot for a wine/ drink at any time! 🍷
George J — Google review
My husband and I stumbled upon this bar by chance, and it ended up being our favorite spot of the whole trip! The vibe was incredible — there was an after-work crowd across the street, every table was full, cars could barely get through — it was chaotic in the best way. We each had a Negroni and then a lager, both great. The atmosphere was so lively and local, and there were even families with kids, so it felt really welcoming. Highly recommend for the amazing ambiance and energy — you won’t regret it!

I know there’s also this one review in every bar, but really, this was the best aperol spritz I had in Sicily. We went there randomly on our last day of a 10-day trip, expecting a regular bar but it ended up being one of our favorite stop

Mercado de la Vucciria is a vibrant spot in Palermo, drawing a diverse crowd including hipsters, students, tourists, and locals. At night, Piazza Caracciolo transforms into a lively scene with street food vendors grilling meat and makeshift bars offering affordable shots while playing reggaeton music. It's an exciting place to experience the city's nightlife and local flavors.
Amazing small marketplace square. You know you are in an historic and traditional setting. Lots of fun with the sights, sounds, smells and people. Very earthy, not from a Hollywood set. This is the real thing. I like this market because it feels more open and pleasant than the more crowded, narrow street markets, even getting some lovely midday sunshine. Lots of tables and chairs for eating your fabulous small (or large) plates of food. Yum!
Stephen R — Google review
Its the armpit and hidden gemstones of Palermo.. some spots are good to dodge and the rest are lined with absolute treasures. Street food scene amongst the top i've ever seen whereas Lima, Peru is the mecca of fine dinning..this is just rich in everything from wines, bites and beautiful people. More to see...
Marco M — Google review
La Vucciria in Palermo is a vibrant mix of market chaos and street food magic. I walked in through what felt like a fish market, with the smell of fresh seafood grilling right in front of me. You choose your fish from the display — I went for octopus, swordfish, aubergine, and a burger — all perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The setting is raw and authentic, with great music and a buzzing local vibe. It’s not fancy, but that’s the charm. A must if you want to taste real Sicilian street food in a truly local atmosphere.
Richie C — Google review
I would say giving 2 stars is me being nice being that I caught a minor case of food poisoning after eating some octopus from one of the street vendors and on top of that it didn’t taste like anything but boiled octopus with lemon. Probably nice to take photos for street photography but other than that nothing more.
Krammer A — Google review
Lively traditional food market. You’ll find all the produce and fish you can imagine and more …
Stefan H — Google review
My favourite go to for lunch and people watch it come at night for the nightlife, music and dancing
Edu — Google review
Gritty, authentic, a must-tick box. As with any hot tourist pull, have perseverance and walk at least 5 minutes down to find the best street food deals, more calm, less chaos. Emphasis on fresh fish: you point, you sit at a rickety table, they cook it up and serve you. €5 for a typical, shareable portion at the further-down joints.

Quattro Canti, also known as Piazza Quattro Canti, is a stunning octagonal public plaza in Palermo. It features four fountains topped by ornate statues in niches, representing the four seasons, Spanish kings, and the city's patron saints. This baroque masterpiece serves as the intersection of Via Maqueda and Corso Vittorio Emanuele and is a must-see attraction in the city.
This elegant Baroque style square is definitely a must not be missed on your trip to Palermo. Four Corners built as part of urban planning, which took place during the first decades of Spanish domination. At street level each corner has a fountain with a statue of one of the four seasons by Gregorio Tedeschi and Nunzio La Mattina. Above the central sections have a niche containing a statue of a sovereign - Philip II, Philip III, Philip IV of Spain and the emperor Charles V- all sculptured by Giovanni Battista D'Aprile. In the upper part are marble figures of four guardian saints of the city -Agatha, Christina, Nymph and Olivia. Magnificent view! Piazza is constantly talking about the History of Sicily and is the heart of Palermo's civil and social life. Beautiful in every season, indeed!
Irina A — Google review
Beautiful four corner monument unfortunately, despite its beauty, there’s trash everywhere. One fountain is trickling over mold. All other fountains are not running and filled to the very top with TRASH! So sad they are not maintained. Beautiful statuary. Be aware traffic runs through there so be on guard you don’t get run over.
Ann S — Google review
One of Palermo’s most iconic spots! The four baroque facades are stunning, especially when lit by the sun. A perfect place to stop, take photos, and admire the historic heart of the city.
Tiberiu I — Google review
Where the two main roads cross, the magnificent hits you with full effect. The tourist stop regardless of whether walking alone or definitely when on a guided tour.
Cheryl T — Google review
Absolutely loved Quattro Canti in Palermo! This iconic Baroque square is like an open-air museum, every corner is a masterpiece. Located at the crossroads of the city’s four historic quarters, it’s where art, history, and urban life come together. The four curved facades are beautifully adorned with statues representing the seasons, Spanish kings, and Palermo’s patron saints, it feels like you’re standing inside a grand theatrical set. Whether you visit during the day or in the evening, the atmosphere is magical. A must-see when in Palermo!
Carlos R — Google review
Very touristic, but thanks to the police, it was safe. Local artists are also enriching this place. We went there during the Santa Rosalia festival, but I bet it is magical in the early morning.
Beata J — Google review
A corner unlike 1 I’ve ever seen. The history behind the statutes is fascination. Nice place to take pictures. Also a great meeting place when traveling with others not staying in your hotel. Close to many other sites, restaurants and stores.
Michelle A — Google review
The baroque architecture at this crossroads is stunning, and it truly feels like the heart of the city. During the day, it’s beautiful to admire and take photos, but at night the atmosphere becomes even more special. People often gather here, and sometimes you can even see dancing and music in the square. A lively and cultural place that shows the real spirit of Palermo!

Bisso Bistrot is a charming restaurant and art space located in the former famous bookshop, Liberia Dante, right behind the Quattro Canti in Palermo. The restaurant offers a laid-back atmosphere with a Sicilian menu that includes pasta with cauliflower and swordfish rolls stuffed with raisins and anchovies. Despite its central location, Bisso Bistrot maintains an authentic ambiance and fair prices. The establishment also features creative cocktails and attentive staff.
Great food, reasonable price. I came around 16:30 and the staff told me the restaurant is closed but they can still provide certain dishes. I ordered a rice with chicken, an eggplant appetizer and a beer. The food is tasty and the total cost is 22 euro.
Huixin Z — Google review
The aperol spritz’s were great, and pasta was delicious and well priced - especially the pasta with tuna ragout which was the dish of the day. The servers were all friendly. We went for dinner relatively earlier so it was a bit quieter than other restaurants on the street.
Evelyn W — Google review
Staff is very friendly, helpful and speak good English. Food is overall really delicious. We especially recommend Panelle, Caponata di Melanzane and and pasta dish. Millefogue unfortunately wasn’t very good. We paid for 3 people 61eur.
Hilal B — Google review
Very nice, quiet bistro on the otherwise very crowded Via Maqueda, much appreciated by locals. Delicious espresso, very nice service. When I'm in Palermo again, I'll definitely be back!
Martin W — Google review
Had an amazing dining experience at Bisso Bistrot! The vibe is awesome, with a cozy yet modern feel. It's in a perfect location too. The food, though, is the real star of the show. Every dish I tried was bursting with flavor, but I have to highlight the basmati rice with fried chicken. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned, making it the ideal accompaniment to the rest of the amazing menu. The quality of the food is well worth the price (it is very affordable too). Highly recommend!
Yana F — Google review
Lovely place with good Sicilian food. The service is really good and fast. The menu offers a great variety of food so if you are a vegetarian or a meat eater you will find what you want. Quantities are good and meals tasty. If you're nearby give it a try
Maxime G — Google review
The waiting staff are the rudest I’ve ever encountered! Shouting at customers and generally rude. I almost felt sorry for them. Also the cocktail I was served was incorrectly made. I even checked on the Internet to see if the Palermo recipe was different. But no! They just held back on the more expensive ingredients. A very unpleasant experience.
Rosalind L — Google review
Cute restaurant and very affordable prices. However, I had high hopes for this restaurant, but was a bit disappointed.. The service was ok, but way too fast. I ordered and not even 2 minutes after I got my food. Which made me wonder if the wanted me out of the restaurant super fast? You finish the starter and not even 2 minutes after you have your plate. It might be to get more tables during the night, but it makes the overall experience less enjoyable. Feels like were in the US, not Italy. The food was good, but the pasta was definitely too salty for me. Haven’t tried the desserts, but they looked good!

Bye Bye Blues is a renowned Michelin-starred restaurant located near Mondello beach in Palermo. Founded by Patrizia Di Benedetto and Antonio Barraco, the restaurant has gained acclaim for its Sicilian cuisine since its establishment in 1991. Chef Benedetto uses local ingredients to create innovative dishes such as paccheri with cod sauce, roasted peppers, black sesame, and toasted almonds. The extensive wine list showcases selections from Sicily, Italy, and other iconic wine regions worldwide.
We celebrated our 20th anniversary with 22 people at Bye Bye Blues. Arranged from Australia, Partriza and team could not have done a better job! It was an outstanding evening with every guest commenting on the food and wine selection and service. Some of the guests had dietary needs and each was easily accommodated. We could not recommend more highly! An evening we will not forget!

A truly refined and memorable experience. During our visit, we enjoyed their beautiful take on Japanese cuisine, prepared with exceptional skill and presented with elegance. Every dish was fresh, balanced, and full of delicate flavors. The atmosphere was relaxed yet sophisticated — perfect for savoring a thoughtful meal. Service was attentive, warm, and professional from start to finish. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates fine Japanese-inspired cuisine in Palermo.
Ağamehdi N — Google review
This place is truly one of a kind in the area. The moment you step in, it feels like you’ve entered another world. Peaceful, authentic, and far from the touristy buzz of Mondello. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. The food was outstanding: both in taste and presentation. The service was impeccable, with professional staff and an incredibly accommodating chef who not only greeted us but also took our order personally! A special thank you for the birthday candle on the cake, such a thoughtful gesture. It made the evening even more special for my boyfriend. We truly appreciated it!

We went for a special meal to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. The welcome and service was first class. We had the seven course tasting menu with paired wines and both were simply amazing - worth every penny. The menu was interesting and delivered to an excellent standard. Thank you for making our evening so very special ❤️
Chris E — Google review
Compared to other restaurants in Mondello, this one stands out. The food was great — we had the best dessert we’ve ever tasted! The staff were friendly, and the wine was good. I would recommend adding this place to your list if you're in the area.
Tara C — Google review
My rating is 3.9. The restaurant is good, but didn't impress us with any of the dishes from the tasting menu. It's hard to believe it was a Michelin star restaurant. The dishes were presented nice, nothing innovative or outstanding though. The taste of most of the dishes was plain and lack some flavour kick. The ingredients were fresh. Some of the dishes from out tasting menu: variation of crudi, fish rolled with tomato espuma, potato puree, and marinated onion, pasta nero di sepia with gamberi and ricci espuma (great), fish in olive 'crust' with variation of caponata, watermelon mouse with cagliata, almond cake (great). Service was professional and attentive, but also too pushy. I understand that the restaurant wasn't full and maybe they wanted to take care of the customers, however coming every two minutes to check if we chose dishes or wine is too much and it's a lack of respect to our privacy. Overall, it was a good dinner, but nothing special.
Marika N — Google review
We are truly impressed with the quality of food, professionalism of the service team and the clean modern environment for dining at Bye Bye Blues. At arrival, we are welcomed by warm greetings and ushered to our seats. The waitress then helped us to stow away our jackets and presented the menu to us. We like to highlight that they have an english menu for guest who requires this version. The resto also has an extensive wine list for selection. The menu clearly indicates the key ingredients of each dish. The variety is well selected and unique. We like that Chef Patrizia takes the order personally for all guests. Upon placing our orders, we were served with a welcome antipasti on the house. We ordered a variety of raw fish platter and red prawns with artichokes and potatoes as antipasti to start. Both dishes are good starters, well presented and tasty. We had Risotto in Mussels soup and a grilled fish fillet as main course. The portion is reasonable and we enjoyed both dishes very much. The freshness of the grilled fish and tastiness of the mussel soup that enriched the risotto is commendable. We like the presentation and curation of the desserts. We had an almond and lemon cake with creme brulee and vanilla ice cream, and a millefoglie with citrus cream, caramel ice cream and pudding. Both dessert are not overly sweet, the balance between the sweetness of cream and citrus fruit are on point. Dining in the restaurant is comfortable and we observed that service team is attentive to the needs of different guests at each table. The restaurant comes with a heftier price tag compared to majority of the restaurants in Palermo. However, it is worthwhile to dine in this restaurant as we felt that it is outstanding and value for money given the experience and quality of food. It is a restaurant we will revisit and host our guests the next time.
Fabio V — Google review
Outstanding creations by Chef Patrizia and a gem of a place in beautiful Mondello! Francesco guided us to the best Sicilian wines selected by owner/sommelier Antonio that took the meal to the next level. You have to ask for the wine pairing when there. Do not drive back :)

Nestled in the heart of Palermo, Corona Trattoria is a delightful gem run by a passionate Sicilian couple who infuse their family-run establishment with an upscale trattoria vibe. With a commitment to quality, they source only the freshest seafood from Terrasini, located near the Gulf of Castellammare.

Our favorite meal in Palermo! It’s. Family run restaurant with an unreal wine list & and even better menu! Come here for the best seafood dishes in Palermo. A truly enjoyable dining experience from Every perspective! Besides the menu selections there were a number of additional specials so we tasted several appetizers that were all scrumptious. We chose two pastas from the menu - a bucatini with sardines and spaghetti with cuttlefish and bottarga that were both delicious. We finished with the best cannoli either of us has ever had, a very generous serving to share. The wine selections are extensive and we asked for advice on a Sicilian wine to accompany our meal, and were thrilled with their recommendation. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant and you need to book ahead, because it’s a popular establishment.

Best dinner I had in Palermo, hands down. The restaurant serves outstanding fresh seafood, deeply rooted in tradition yet approached with a contemporary twist. The whole experience felt vibrant and authentic. The waiters and sommeliers were a real highlight—kind, attentive, and embodying true Palermitan hospitality. The raw seafood appetizers and the cannolo were unforgettable. Absolutely recommended.

This is one of the best restaurant I have eaten in during my time in Palermo. This cozy restaurant has an impressive wine selection. The food was great and I loved the raw prawns. The squid ink pasta was the only underwhelming dish, but well compensated by the excellence of others. Worth a visit.

Ai Bottai in Palermo is a popular spot located on the corner of Via Bottai and Vittoria Emmanuelle. It offers an extensive cocktail menu with drinks priced at 4-5 euros, making it a great place for enjoying drinks while people-watching from its prime outdoor seating. The traditional Italian 'Aperitivo' is highly recommended, offering a generous portion of finger foods and a drink for 15 euros.
Excellent aperitivo experience. Nice ambiance and friendly service. A lot of nice local delicacies on the big platter. We would recommend replacing some of them with some more light, fresher options, suitable hot, humid Sicilian summer nights

In the heart of Palermo's historic center, just steps from Piazza Marina, Ai Bottai is a must-see for those who love fine dining and an authentic, vibrant atmosphere. The restaurant is elegant, welcoming, and has a distinctly Palermitan feel, where tradition and creativity blend harmoniously. The menu is rich and varied, with dishes that showcase local flavors with a modern twist, without ever betraying the essence of Sicilian cuisine. From appetizers to desserts, each course is a small masterpiece of flavor, beautifully presented and made with the freshest ingredients. Special praise goes to the staff, always friendly, professional, and helpful, ready to offer advice and make every visit even more enjoyable. You can sense their love for hospitality and the care they give to each and every customer. Whether it's a dinner with friends, a romantic evening, or a gourmet break during a stroll, Ai Bottai is the perfect place to feel good, eat well, and experience the true spirit of Palermo.

Awful apperitivo that felt like a tourist trap. We were expecting Italian bites and all we got were American hotdogs, bland sandwiches and dishes smothered in BBQ sauce. Drink was good. The whole thing was €18. Absolutely not worth it.
Bal R — Google review
Very nice place to have aperitivo among the locals. From 19h-22h you get a full plate of food and cocktail for only €16 pp. The food was really nice imo, a mix of Sicilian specialties and some more American style foods. Some veggie options as well, when ordering the waiter asked us if we had any allergies. Had to pay a bit extra for all cocktails that were over €8 (most of them are €8 but I wanted a margherita 😜 which was €10)

We didn’t book in advance and they were accommodating and seated us straight away. As it is a set board of food and we have a few dietary requirements they were accommodating. Lovely aesthetics and highly recommend their new cocktail they are trialing!

Amazing bar and restaurant. We went for drinks before dinner and had amazing cocktails. On our 2nd round, I didn’t know what to have so they said the barman can make an off-menu drink for me; it was amazing! 😍 Lovely service!

Great value for a big platter of Sicilian bites (€16 p.p. plus one drink p.p.). The food quality is really good and it's the perfect spot to just sit down and watch people come by. Busy area. The staff is however very eager to clean your table, maybe because it was busy when we were there and there weren't a lot of tables available.

Good food, but super expensive apericena at 15€. Two minutes after we paid, they asked us to leave because other customers were waiting?!?! The atmosphere is bad with 15 indians walking through the tables while selling their stuff.

Qvivi Bar Musica, located in Piazza Rivoluzione, is a vibrant and unpretentious bar that attracts a lively crowd with its free early-evening buffet for patrons buying drinks and live music performances. The owners' passion for music is evident from the guitars adorning the walls and the battered piano getting a workout as the evening progresses.
Absolutely terrific bar, lively atmosphere with a great retro vibe. The drinks are well made, fresh and cheap. The staff are friendly and caring and make you want to come back. Would recommend to anyone looking to stop by for a drink.

Ferramenta is a gastropub located in Palermo, set in an old hardware store. It's renowned for its excellent cocktails and offers some of the finest wines from Sicily. The place has a lively yet relaxed atmosphere, attracting a stylish crowd without being pretentious. While some visitors have raved about the exceptional dishes like tuna steak and grilled beef, others have found certain items like risotto and pasta with mussels falling short.
Excellent food with impressive selection of wines. The restaurant, located in the heart of Vucciria district, is popular amongst local population for good reason. In addition to the selection of wines and food, the service is impeccable. The staff has venerable knowledge of wines, proving them good sommeliers. The dishes were made from fresh ingredients and were very tasty. The culinary creativity clearly shows.

Found this restaurant when we were walking around Palermo and looked a very nice place so we booked for a 20:30 booking . When we arrived on the evening it was busy with locals so you know it must be good . Service was very good food was amazing and the atmosphere was great . While we were sat there we could a women singing and a brass band and then all of a sudden they came round the corner about 20 men carrying Jesus on a cross, from one church to another and then had a massive night math outside church and then walked back to the church they came from playing music . It was lovely to see would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Palermo, we will when we go back next definitely. Grazie

Very nice restaurant in the heart of Palermo. The outside seating is quite enjoyable. The cuisine is very good with beautiful and tasty dishes. The service was a bit slow and absent, from the to time. All in all: a good recommendation!

Food was ok but very expensive for what it was. None of the dishes was great, some even lacked salt. The vibes of the place were good though and so was the wine. I hated the dessert though, do not recommend. Weird texture

I stopped here for a drink. Charming and atmospheric and super charming. A really sweet spot. I had an Old Fashion, which was accompanied by crisps, olives, nuts. Really reasonable too. Food menu sounded delicious
Lucy H — Google review
We were drawn to the restaurant by a cozy location (small square under a huge old tree) but everything else was pretty average (save for the sommelier girl who was absolutely uninterested to speak to us, she seemed to had more important things to do). We had two antipasti and two pastas (norma and amatricana), waited an hour and change for them, sitting on school chairs. The place was a bit more expensive than some other we visited in Palermo.

Friendly and helpful staff, gave us great recommendations. Good wine selection, and the cocktails are also delicious. All the dishes were very good. Highlight: for the pasta dishes and the indivia side dish. Downside: the octopus appetizer was a bit chewy but the flavor was good. All in all, I recommend it and would go back

Enoteca Picone is a vintage enoteca in Palermo, offering an extensive selection of niche and artisanal wines from local and international producers. The fourth-generation family-owned establishment, now led by Vera Bonnano, boasts thousands of wines from around the world, with a focus on Sicilian wines from niche, artisanal producers. In addition to wine tasting, visitors can enjoy light local plates such as bottarga and tenerumi soup from the full kitchen.
My BnB owner recommended this place to me. At first I wasn’t sure about going a little “out of the way” so to speak, but I am so glad I did! They have such an amazing collection of wine that you’d never ever finish checking it out! The staff were kind and the sommelier speaks perfect English. He gave me perfect recommendations! Most guests were local and seemed familiar with each other as well as the staff, and you know that’s always a good sign if you are looking for a friendly and authentic place for spending a lovely evening while getting to taste local wines.

Wine knowledge and service was fantastic. I asked a number of questions about local wines and the styles I like and the wait person was more than happy to give me recommendations. Every wine was delicious and the cold cuts and cheese platter topped it off! If I lived in that area it would definitely be my local !

We came here for a drink as we noticed it on the street and it looked so good, and didn’t disappoint! They personally selected wine by the glass for us which was delicious and great value. We had a plate of meat and cheese which was so good and the fig jam was incredible. Service was so friendly and we accidentally left a pair of sunglasses here that they kindly looked after for us so we could come and pick up the next day… when we then had even more wine! Best wine bar in Palermo.

I Cuochini is a historic deli established in 1826, located on Via Ruggero Settimo. Originally catering to Sicilian aristocrats, it has evolved into a popular destination for locals and tourists alike. The deli offers a variety of freshly made products including savory pastries like panzerotti, arancine, pasta timbales, and the famous pane e panelle - a sandwich roll with fried chickpea flour slices.
Great Street Food. The pieces are small but that means you can try a number of them and not be too full. Also, they are of a very high quality. We tried the Arancini Carne, Crocchette di Latte, Chickpea in a Bun, and a Cheese Pastry. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The packaging of the eight piece was very attractive to look at. Maybe a minor point but showed the care they take of the produce. At €1 per piece the food is extremely affordable and value for money.

Housed in the city's historic public baths near Piazza Marina, this cocoa-obsessed destination offers a Parisian cafe-inspired atmosphere with twinkling fairy lights, second-hand books, and upcycled furniture adorned with local artists' paintings and illustrations. The leafy courtyard is a popular spot for locals and expats to relax amidst potted palm trees and stone statues.
Beautiful café tucked away on a stunning street in central Palermo. The atmosphere is lovely and welcoming. The desserts were really good especially the vegan chocolate cake, which was just the right amount of sweet. A great spot for an afternoon coffee

Cioccolateria Lorenzo is a fantastic spot for chocolate and coffee lovers in Palermo. We were searching for a good café and ended up in a place that truly delivers on indulgence. Their chocolate cakes were absolutely delicious, and both the cappuccino and the chocolate drink were excellent. Just a heads-up—the hot chocolate is so rich and dense, it’s practically a full meal. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a great stop for anyone with a sweet tooth. We didn’t try the pralines, but they looked top-quality. If you’re craving a coffee break with a serious chocolate upgrade, this place is definitely worth a visit.

Lovely small café. Just sit down and they will take your order. Coffee taste nice, cakes are amazing. A good start for the morning. Nice vibes. Rather to go how I can imagine.
Alexandra S — Google review
A sadly disappointing experience. The mud cake was dry and lacking in flavour. The point of a mud cake is to be more wet (like mud), the opposite of dry, so that was a shame. The double chocolate mousse was weird; you would expect 'double chocolate' to be 'a lot of chocolate', but it tasted mostly like raspberry. It was, in that sense, slightly interesting and unique, which I can appreciate, but a different name would have been better. The carrot cake's flavour was fine enough, but it was dry and felt like it had been in the fridge for a few days, it didn't taste fresh. The white chocolate milk was too sweet; the first moment of tasting it, it tasted nice, but then the sweetness overwhelmed any flavour. The dark chocolate - well, look at the picture, it looks like milk chocolate. I asked to add chili to it (to enrich the flavour of the dark chocolate), but there were just some supermarket chili flakes on the top. We liked the creaminess/thickness of the chocolate milk, but in general it felt and tasted more like a molten chocolate bar than professional chocolate milk. All in all, I would be completely fine with this in a random restaurant, but I expect better in a cioccolateria. The place is also very chaotic; loud, cramped, hot (inside), waiters don't really pay attention to you out of their own initiative... The first time we came inside, lacking any menu, greeting, or anything, we eventually decided to ask a waiter, who distractedly said it was better to come back another time, so then we just left - but when we came back the next day in the morning, it still felt the same. Our cakes were eventually delivered at the same time, but after that it took about ten more minutes to receive our hot chocolate milk - and mine was already cold when it was delivered... Not how a cioccolateria should feel.

Vespa Café is a trendy cocktail bar located near the port and Massimo Opera Theatre. It's known for its early evening drinks and snacks, offering a fixed price for a cocktail of your choice along with a generous platter of food including pasta, local meats and cheeses, slider burgers, and more. The interior is modern and stylish, attracting a young Sicilian crowd. While the food may not be extraordinary, it's described as tasty and varied enough to satisfy everyone.
For the price of 30 € (15 € per person) we got a good cocktail as well as a huge plate of a mixture of food! We both couldnt even finish the food and there was even ice cream afterwards included, incredible! They also asked for some intolerances and a lot if their food is anyway vegan or vegetarian. Personally, I found the taste average, but my girlfriend liked very much. The ice cream was really good. For this price you really cannot complain!

Solid bar food and excellent vibes! We went in on a Friday night around 10pm absolutely exhausted after a day at the beach, and the mixed platter tray & drink for €18 hit the spot. The reviews are right by the way- the staff was all super chill! While the food wasn’t anything insanely special, we agreed it was the equivalent of good bar food in the USA: tasty, easy to eat, and varied enough that everyone can enjoy. (Though WAY less likely to give you a heart attack, unlike the USA counterpart) Honestly, I’d say this is a really solid spot if you’re looking for drinks, snacks, and a laid-back atmosphere. The crowd was all pretty young and most of them were speaking Italian too, which is usually the sort of place we look out for! SUCH a great change of pace from the sit-down restaurants surrounding the area.

Superb aperitivo in a great location! The restaurant kindly prepared a vegetarian board for us which was greatly appreciated and all the food was delicious (the pasta in particular was excellent!) The cocktails were also really good and our waiter was happy to answer questions about the wine and give recommendations. I would recommend booking as it gets quite busy.

Sicilò Food&View 360 is a restaurant with a stunning location offering exceptional views of Palermo. The menu features a simple yet tasty selection of local seafood, and the staff provides really nice service. While the food may be just okay, it's still an amazing experience for tourists. However, some visitors find it overpriced and note that the service can be slow due to limited staffing.
A wonderful evening at Sicily! Fantastic drinks prepared by their expert mixologist, not to mention the panoramic view from the rooftop deck and restaurant. Thank you to the team for a memorable evening!

Lovely view, service was leisurely and unrushed. The sunset was amazing. In the evening, the mosquitos could be an issue. We had the sushi...big portions and solid! Good tasting Enjoy the evening with a crisp glass of white wine.

Fabulous location for aperitivo and food perfect time at sunset to look across the roofs of Palermo ! Charming and delightful service ! Highly recommend a must visit !
Catherine C — Google review
It's OK. Situated at the top of a retail store and with rather limited views, including a whole building covered in scaffolding. Service good, prices average, food good. There are better places to eat and other places with views to try out as well as this one. We went for the views and were sat outside on the balcony with a light breeze and views of Scaffolding. Maybe better for a lunch rather than evening meal/Dinner

Beautifully delicious cocktails by Giuseppe! Amazing atmosphere with great view!! Must go! Very special place. Loved it a lot!!!

Lovely rooftop. Great views. Good service. But we got attacked by hungry pigeons!! As soon as the waitress put the crisps and nuts on the table, the pigeons literally jumped on and started eating them from the bowl.
Sanj P — Google review
I totally recommend to visit this beautiful terrace in the evening for the outstanding views and the nice atmosphere. That said, €9 cocktails loooked very pretty but were not good: Moscow mule had way too much ginger, Tequila Sunrise had too much alcohol, daiquiri was good, Apero spritz was ok. Service was correct, a bit up-nosed in a way if you ask for example to take a group picture, but I guess it comes with the type of place. As I said: great place for enjoying the views. Period.

Bottiglieria Massimo -Champagneria since 1968 is a long-standing, family-run bar that has been a staple in the city for over five decades. Originally opened by Luigi Corriente and now managed by his son Guiseppe, this establishment has become renowned for its exceptional champagne selection and is said to serve the finest bubbles in town.
So if like us you have been in Italy for the past 10 days, you are probably craving something different than pasta and pizza, and drinks other than Aperol and wine. This place has the greatest selection of Whiskeys, Tequilas, and Gins. Basically hard liquors that non-europeans get drunk with. The charcuterie boards were marvellous and the food in general was a game changer for us. I absolutely recommend this place.
Amir M — Google review
Amazing staff and amazing food. It's definitely worth paying a visit while in Palermo
Zachariasz W — Google review
Three words: classical tourist trap Prices for quality as juicy as the drinks. What you get for the prices? Mediocre ambiente and a waiter that has the charm of a wet sock. He acted like he‘s personally declared war on customer service — and you’re the front line. Can not recommend. The street though is nice - you’ll probably find something adequate
Trickster — Google review
What a wonderful find! The midday snack and a glass of white wine from Mt. Etna were perfect. Sitting outside was peaceful and the service was great! I will be coming back to try the other fantastic wine selections.

For after the opera. Didn’t realize that was a kind of sports bar but that was okay. A bottle of nice champagne and a hefty charcuterie/cheese plate good enough for four and just under 20€ per person. Perfect.

Burger was good! But I was disappointed to see that they charge extra for mayo and ketchup. Not impressed given it's a pricey place...I also would like to add that the service was a little poor and waiters were eating while serving.

Palermo Football Store is a stylish and well-organized cafe in Palermo, offering a variety of Sicilian street food and delicious snacks. The service is friendly and the staff are helpful. While some find the prices a bit high for coffee and pastries, others appreciate the tasty arancinis with different flavors like chicken curry and spinach. The Nutella brioche may be too sweet for some, but the Cornetto di Pistachio comes highly recommended.
I had a fantastic experience at this café in Palermo. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even more enjoyable. But the real highlight? The desserts – absolutely top-notch! They serve traditional Sicilian cannoli, and I highly recommend trying the almond and pistachio ones. So fresh, creamy, and full of flavor – hands down some of the best I’ve ever had. If you're in Palermo and love sweets, don't miss this place!
Lukas P — Google review
The service is very helpful and positive. Place is clean and well organized. As well looks very nice inside. For me prices for coffee and croissant / sweets are a bit to high because the taste is not that amazing as I heard. I went to this place from recommendation. In general, yes it’s worth to try it. For me it’s just sweet. So people like it. I wouldn’t order the same but would try different things. Coffee is normal. Not bad, not good. Definitely recommend this place but with this opinion:)
Mariusz B — Google review
Even one star feels generous for this experience. I visited this restaurant this afternoon and ordered a coffee and some pastries. After just a few minutes, a staff member approached me and asked me to leave. Surprised, I asked if there was a time limit for dining, as there were no signs indicating one. It's important to note that language was not a barrier since I speak Italian, so there was no misunderstanding. The waiter consulted a colleague, and I was told I could stay, but only if I hurried and finished my coffee quickly. They wanted to seat a larger group at my table. This interaction was incredibly rude and humiliating, especially as it happened in full view of other customers. I felt rushed, unwelcome, and embarrassed. I ended up standing and quickly finishing my drink just to get out of there. Avoid this place at all costs unless public humiliation is your idea of good service.
AJ D — Google review
We were stuck with our luggage with no where to go after check out. We hung out here for about an hour and a half. The WiFi was great, it was air conditioned, the food was great ( a little more expensive than other places), and the bathrooms were clean. It was a great place to relax before leaving to catch a train for our flight. Would recommend.

Worst food I had in Sicily. The cassata was horrible. It had no flavor at all - just sugar. I couldn’t even flnish it. 5€ was a crazy price as well. Please avoid and go anywhere else.

Mak Mixology is a cocktail bar located in the vibrant heart of Palermo, near Via Maqueda street. The bar boasts a beautiful decor with an industrial-like outdoor area that is spacious and inviting. The menu features creative cocktails that are well executed, such as the bourbon-based Armonioso which macerates with coconut for several days. Guests can enjoy live music from bands like "il mucciante" while sipping on unique drinks in the dimly lit, golden age-inspired lounge.
Classy hidden bar off the street, with less people noise and lounge jazz bands in the evening. Great place for a drink in a restored historic building (go on one of the street tours to learn about its origins)

Mark S — Google review
Met some friends here for a drink. Wasn’t too impressed with the lack of air con inside and considering we did request an outside table, that request was initially ignored, even with 2 free tables. Half way through our drinks, the heat inside with No Air Con was unbearable and I asked (stating I can’t stay in here) another member of staff to move us outside, which they did! Much better outside where the decorate is very cool too! See pics both in and out. Prior to us meeting our friends, there was live music I was informed by my friends- she showed me her video of them & the saxophonist was very good! Shame we missed it! Drinks - they had no lemoncello to make a spritzer, no Malibu and no pink gin either! I struggled to find something I liked! The interior is unique but the bar itself and staff are lacking the magic

Really friendly and not shy about recommendations - which were really appreciated and turned out to be the best choices - especially the wine! The menu is simple which I find perfect. The food was of a high quality and cooked perfectly. We had the black pork shank which was huge and so so so good and the Ragu which was some of the best cooked pasta I have ever had anywhere. A nice place in the center of Vucciria market that opens around 17h and is great for aperitivo. They offer a good hot/cold cut bites on a round platter, the one at €18 also includes a drink (we had an aperol which was very generous). We are taking off one star because some bites were not that good (couscous, for example, was very plain), and it lacked seafood options - at Vucciria, you’re a bit at a loss if that’s the case..

Pleasant little bar - stopped for a spritz. Very welcoming guys. Really pleasant. Was going to have an Aperol spritz but was recommend the House Spritz. Which was delightful - made with their own mandarin orange liqueur. The only downside side was that an Aperol spritz would have been considerably cheaper 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫but fair play - it was a very nice drink and we got an extra shot of the liqueur which was great. Give it a go. Great service.

Only in Palermo for a day on a cruise ship so with limited time we certainly wanted to try some Etna wine. I’d done my research prior to visiting so knew where to go & Enoteca Buonivini fitted the bill perfectly. Very warm welcome from, I assume, the owner/manager who spoke perfect English. No issues over only wanting wine rather than a meal, he explained in great detail the nuances of Sicilian wine regions & we tried a couple of fairly entry level red & white wines which were so good we stayed for another. Would certainly return here with more time and have a meal also as the plates of food we saw heading to other tables looked amazing.

They have a good range of wines. We were hoping for a wine tasting event but that wasn't possible. They do advise you the prices of the wines you select, particularly if you pick up an expensive one!
Simon G — Google review
The place is ok but service is pretty bad: we waited for about 15 minutes but no one came to give us the menu or take our order. The waiter is not to blame as she was alone for all the tables... It's ba pity as the place has a good potential.

Punk Funk Record Shop Music Bar in Palermo is a unique spot that combines the atmosphere of a bar with the charm of a record shop. Visitors can enjoy browsing through crates of records while sipping on cold beers and listening to great tunes. The friendly staff, diverse selection of vinyl records, and cool ambiance make it a fun experience for both locals and tourists looking to step outside the usual tourist spots.
A chill bar with a good mix of local and foreign crowd. Their outside seating area is relatively calm compared to some places in Palermo where you usually sit next to a super busy street. The bar is cute and they have draft beer and quite a variety of spritz. I asked for a recommendation and was not disappointed.
Dar R — Google review
The best cocktail I have ever had. Nice punk rock music.
Nathan D — Google review

Henrie K — Google review
Nice bar with vinyls records to sell, they are the private collection of the owner. The bar looks great, nice ambiance, everything looks great, staff is nice 😊 they have nice beers and cocktails also!
Sacha N — Google review
Good music, good atmosphere and cool decor. Lovely staff with some/most able to understand/speak English. I was unsure what to order but the bartender helped decide with me. Tequila and grapefruit soda cocktail and April spritz in the picture.
Scarlett — Google review
Very tasty drinks and nice atmosphere. Awful speakers for a music focused place.
Thomas — Google review
Proper bar with good music/DJs playing records. Cute little patio that you could tell is frequented by locals. Cheap drinks as well. Highly recommend.

We had lovely early evening drinks here after visiting the museum nearby. It was nice and calm from 5-7 so we could sit and read our books. The staff were friendly and nice and the aperitivo snacks were tasty!

Zammù is a nice bar with a good location to have a drink or even more than only one drink. The Aperol is much better than in other places and i really enjoyed the free peanuts here. Also the service was really attend and nice. Really recommend this bar for some drinks.
Mona N — Google review
Very good full strength quality cocktails at decent prices, tasty beers with right degree of cool on a sultry day. Staff very friendly and helpful. Buffet food homemade and wide choice. Situated in a beautiful square with a fountain in the old heart of the city. Background unobtrusive jazz music near jazz concert hall. Well worth a visit!
Carole G — Google review
