1Il Giardino di Ballarò Boutique Hotel

Historical landmark
Il Giardino di Ballarò Boutique Hotel is a charming 18th-century building located in the heart of Palermo's historic center. The hotel offers five uniquely decorated rooms and suites featuring quirky art, antiques, and original features. Guests can enjoy an al fresco breakfast in the citrus-scented courtyard or relax in the rooftop hot tub. The elegantly furnished rooms are equipped with modern amenities, and a cozy living room adds to the hotel's welcoming atmosphere.
We stayed at Il Giardino for 2 nights on our 10 day trip around Sicily. Aurora and her colleagues were very welcoming and attentive. Il Giordano is more B&B than hotel but the guests all enjoyed time in the lounge area chilling.. throughout the day. Breakfast was superb! The location is such that the noise of Palermo is a constant but once you’re used to it, it’s fine… The cathedral and many other sites are close by so it’s easy to step out to see your next location and then return to the tranquility of Il Giardino! Highly recommended! 😊

An oasis of elegant calm situated in the midst of the bustle of Palermo. Great service from really friendly staff, super location for walking around the historic centre of Palermo and enjoying the wide range of local restaurants. Compact rooms nicely furnished. Delicious breakfast. Surprisingly quiet at night (mostly!). Would definitely recommend

Wonderful stay! Aurora was an amazing host — warm, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. You can feel the love in this family-run boutique hotel. The location is perfect — right in the heart of old town Palermo, walking distance to everything. The hotel is beautifully designed with a cozy lobby, relaxing patio, comfy seating, AC, and always water and coffee available. Breakfast was delicious — the pastries were top-notch, and eggs made on request even late in the morning. And the shower? Best water pressure in all of Europe. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

Loved our stay. The hosts are wonderful. The location is amazing in the heart of old town and within walking distance to everything. This B&B is an oasis in the heart of Palermo. Breakfasts are yummy. Lovely experience and very comfortable.

A very cool B&B. Staff are nice and helpful. Breakfast is good. Recommend to buy some bread, cheese and cured meats and sit in the courtyard to eat it. It's a very simple but special experience. Though I would t recommend wandering the surrounding area alone. It didn't feel safe.
Carmelo D — Google review
Excellent hotel. We learned about it from our Italy travel book, which recommended it. Very charming, convenient, clean, and well-staffed. Staff was friendly and helpful; they spoke English. The location is superb; most things you'd want to see and do in Palermo are within a 15-minute walk. I would recommend this hotel to others traveling to Palermo.
Bryan D — Google review
A real and honest small boutique hotel in a state-of-the-art refurbished old Ballaro building going back many centuries. An honour and pleasure to stay at Il Giardino, Aurora and the team made us feel at home to the extent we were most sorry to leave...

Nestled in the heart of Palermo's Albergaria district, B&B Palazzo Natoli is a stunning boutique hotel housed within an elegant 18th-century noble residence. This charming establishment offers guests a delightful café/bistro and complimentary breakfast to start their day off right. Just a short stroll away from iconic landmarks like Fontana Pretoria and Palermo Cathedral, it’s perfectly positioned for exploring the city's rich history and vibrant culture.
We spent two nights in the garden apartment. The room was large, comfortable, clean, and private. We found yoga mats in the closet, with plenty of floor space to spread out. It's in a excellent location on a reasonable quiet side street within easy walking distance of virtually every site and restaurant we wanted to visit in Palermo. After booking, I have communicated with the staff about breakfast, transportation, etc. They provided answers right away and they were very helpful. During stay, the staff was extremely helpful, cheerful, and kind. The breakfast was outstandings and fresh. We had it served in our room and were greeted by three people parading it in. Food qualities were perfect. We enjoyed Sicily food very much. We definitely will go back there if we visit Palermo again. Thank you very much for the services.

What a gem. Great location on via Emmanuel. Staff were amazing. So helpful. Very professional and great ambassadors for Palmero. Rooms were very well appointed and comfortable. The complimentary Breakfast was great. Ordered the day before because of logistics for small kitchen and dining area. But so tasty. I highly recommend for anyone who wants to be in walking distance of old town icons. Reviews below reflect our experience. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a charming boutique hotel, very centrally located and with huge, comfortable and beautifully decorated rooms. All the staff were friendly, helpful and hugely welcoming. The breakfast room is small and your time & options need to be pre-booked but the choice was fantastic and the food excellent - certainly all we needed. Would highly recommend for a city break in Palermo.

Our stay a Palazzo Natoli in Palermo was simply wonderful. The staff was warm and helpful. A special thanks to Alicia, who was very friendly, a delight to speak with and provided excellent restaurant recommendations. The breakfast each morning was catered to our individual tastes and was fresh, varied and delicious. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated and had balconies with fantastic views of a lively main street. We can't wait to return to Palermo and stay at Natoli again.
M M — Google review
The hotel has excellent Wi-Fi and a prime location in the heart of the city. The team is knowledgeable and amazingly helpful. Although there’s no elevator, the staff is more than willing to carry your suitcases up the stairs. The a/c works well. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and well-maintained. The beds are comfortable, but the pillows could use an upgrade. The breakfast is truly outstanding — made to order based on your personal selections. There are egg selections, fresh squeezed juices, local specialties and pastries. They offer three sittings, starting at 7:30 AM, with only four tables available at each time — and a takeaway option. To secure a specific time slot, you must select the day before. If you need a specific time, send them a note before you arrive. The hotel is less than a 15-minute walk from the train station and a 45-minute taxi to the airport. They are happy to arrange a car transfer for you.
Greg R — Google review
Rooms were clean & roomy; service was impeccable! Everyone from ladies at front desk to all other staff were very kind, assisted w transportation, recommendations…etc. Breakfast was lovely and whatever staff could do to accommodate your needs were ,et as best as possible. Location is great & safe area. Access to shopping, dinning, & taxi transport. Only draw back…no elevator. You must climb up roomy flights of stairs to get to most rooms. Above all, I would def recommend to other travelers.
Tracey P — Google review
My Fiancee and I stayed just one night, and the hotel made us wish we stayed more! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful; they booked dinner for us at their recommended spot (very good), and arranged a car the next day to get us to the airport. The room was absolutely gorgeous, with crown molding. Great location; in the center of it all, but high up enough where you don’t hear much street noise. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Palermo!
Jonathan S — Google review
As others have written here, this place is the perfect hotel. The rooms are spacious, very well appointed, and everything in the rooms - beds, linens, showers, toiletries, demonstrated an emphasis on comfort and care. We were there in July and it was very hot, but the air conditioner worked beautifully and we slept well. The breakfast is outstanding. You do have to pick a time you want to eat, but the staff will accommodate special requests. We frequently saw people getting a small breakfast to go as they headed toward the airport. By the way, the cook is a very personable person who tries to make sure you get what you want. Finally, I have to give a huge A+ to the front desk staff. They were incredibly good at making local reservations and helping us figure out what to do. We decided to go to the beach in Cefalu on day and they helped us make reservations at a private club. They even arranged a car service because the trains went on strike the next morning. If you are staying for any length of time in Palermo, this should be your first choice.

The B&B Hotel Palermo Quattro Canti offers cozy accommodations with complimentary Wi-Fi in a relaxed and affordable setting at the heart of the historic city center. Situated near the archaeological site of Quattro Canti, this hotel seamlessly blends modern amenities with historical charm. The spacious rooms feature modern furnishings and impressive windows that offer views of the vibrant urban surroundings. The friendly staff goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay for guests.
I stayed here for 2 nights and it's without a doubt, the ideal hotel for downtown Palermo. The location is perfect: all major siteseeing spots are easily walkable. When we checked in, the staff told us we had been given a free upgrade to a bigger room, with a king size bed and sitting area, which was awesome. The room itself was very clean with all you need: extra towels, safe, fridge. All this was great, but the best part was the rooftop. The views were simply spectacular, you're really in the heart of Palermo and it shows. It's definitely worth adding the breakfast on: they had a great spread with everything you could want, plenty to get fueled up for the day.
Jack B — Google review
Definitely not a 3-star hotel. The rooms are very small, with a strong smell of mold and a lot of wear and tear (even rust in the bathroom). The only real positive is the excellent location in the historic center. Breakfast is served in a so-called rooftop (actually more like an attic), with plenty of pastries, Italian cold cuts, omelette, cereals, nuts, butter, jam, and very good coffee. However, for almost €200 per night plus €8 city tax, it’s really not worth it. To give an example: when I asked for an umbrella at reception, I was told they don’t have any and never did – is this really a 3-star service?
Tiberiu I — Google review
Well, I've never stayed in a 3 star hotel but we were coming on a course and recommended this place as we had transfers included to put course from this hotel. I would never of picked this usually but I just booked it without reading the reviews (wish I had). It's the worst place I've ever stayed. As much as it's location is perfect if you want to be in the hustle and bustle of everything, it is tired, dingy, smelly and basic. The down stairs reception looks reasonably nice but every time we walked in and out it smelt of sewage. We stayed on the 4th floor in room 432. It was basic. As in no kettle, no water, no shower cap or travel basics. Literally a TV, a fridge and hair and body wash provided. The main door frame to the room was hanging off. The only way to close the door was to slam it. Around the bath and sink was mouldy and gross. There was a window however it wasn't worth having. The view was awful. Just a tiny courtyard of other windows and steel frames. The air con when I turned it on dropped water droplets all over the floor and stunk of mould. The skirting boards and walls were chipped and tatty, the floor was chipped and raised in areas and only 1 pillow was provided on the bed. We unfortunately spent 4 nights here and the first night we felt really disappointed and it pit a real downer on our holiday. Thankfully we managed to see the funny side of it and joked about us always remembering how disappointing it was. We went to the breakfast for one morning and was really disappointed too. There was just watery bits of egg left and a few pieces of sausage when we were after something savoury. We ended up leaving and going somewhere else. The staff were very cheerful and lovely though.
Abby B — Google review
Very comfortable, central hotel. Excellent full breakfast, spectacular views on rooftop where we had breakfast. Room had lots of space, clean, tidy and very comfortable large bed. Parking garage open 24 hrs about 5x mins walk. Excellent hotel, with view of Quattro Central and fountain from hotel. Highly recommend.
Ryan D — Google review
We had beautiful 5 days in Palermo. Hotel was clean and very nice, the view in the morning for breakfast was amazing. On the last day the staff even ofered us to leave bags in hotel and go explore the city eventhough we checked out. Pleasent experience. I will definately come back. Gracie!!!
Lazar K — Google review
Our stay (4 adults) at this location went very smoothly from start to finish. Communication with the hotel from booking was clear and quick, especially when it came to my request of a potential early check in and luggage storage. Upon arrival they did end up having the room ready before check in which was a huge help, and the front desk was very friendly and informative about the amenities at the location. I also found out at check in that breakfast had been added on free of charge for our stay which I really appreciated. Overall our experience at the hotel was great, the building was clean, and location was perfect for our group as we spent a lot of our time going up and down the two main streets of the Quatro Canti, so having the hotel right at the center was great at the end of a long day. The view from the terrace was amazing, clear views of the Quatro Canti and the Fontana Pretoria and the rest of the cities' skyline. Being there off season (October) we didn't experience too much noise in the evening, and also had a pretty good rate for the 8 nights we stayed. A few critiques we had; it seemed no matter when we would check at the front desk they couldn't get us extra key cards (not due to losing ours but just to have more than one for the four of us), I guess due to the number of guests that were staying there. That was a bit annoying but we made do, and one night coming back our card didn't work but was quickly fixed by the front desk. And I'm not sure if it was just our room, but the bathroom didn't have a fan and no window in the bathroom to help with steaming up from showers.
Amanda D — Google review
Excellent location, beautiful roof top dining and bar. Staff on the rooftop were professional, courtesy and friendly. Mariachiara at Reception was so helpful, professional and always had a smile with wonderful greeting upon coming and going. She made my stay so special!
Laura F — Google review
The hotel is in an excellent location. Also, all compliments to the friendly and helpful staff. However, there is an issue with mold in the bathrooms. After we complained about the mold and some tiny insects in the bathroom, specifically in the shower cabin, we were promptly given another, better room. Unfortunately, the bathroom situation there was quite similar. Otherwise, the hotel is clean. If they resolved this issue, the hotel would be very good! I hope they read the reviews and take action :)

BB22 Bed & Breakfast is a chic property located in a 15th-century palace in the heart of Palermo. The boutique-style B&B offers sophisticated rooms with free Wi-Fi, individually decorated to reflect contemporary and traditional styles. Guests can enjoy an oasis of calm in the chaotic city, with bright rooms filled with design details. The hotel also provides unique experiences such as onsite cooking classes where guests can learn to create Sicilian pasta and other local dishes followed by a glass of Sicilian wine.
A great boutique B&B in a fantastic location. Owned by a well travelled stylish Milanese lady, the place is very well renovated with high quality beds, a/c, terrace and very good breakfast. 3 min walk from fantastic bars and restaurants with good vibes and food - both for younger and older people. 5 min walk to the port area including the newly developed yachting area. Patti and her really professional reception manager lady both have reliable bar and restaurant recommendations including Ferramenta bar & apero (40 m from BB22), Mercede and Molo Sant’ Erasmo (both yummy restaurants). They also have access to Daniele, a great guide who speaks good English to show you around the historic sites including legendary open-air markets. Stay 3 nights, Palermo is worth it.

We stayed for two nights in the Bergamotto room. The B&B itself was stylish, but very comfortable. Our room had a great little balcony overlooking a garden with far sea views. The location was superb, within 10 minutes walk of everything in old Palermo, including sights and great restaurants. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. Thank you for a great stay!
Ord S — Google review
The B&B was pleasant and conveniently located. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the quality/price ratio was good. During our stay in early July 2022, we had the entire apartment to ourselves. Although we did notice a bit of dust on the bed, it was a minor issue that didn't detract from our positive experience. We would certainly consider returning in the future.

Our group of four stayed 2 nights, in two separate rooms. This B&B is absolutely wonderful!!! Rooms are beautifully decorated and furnished with every comfort and luxury. Fabulous breakfast!! Rodi was very thoughtful and gave us directions to local attractions. Very highly recommended!

Probably one of the nicest places to stay in Palermo. Everything was pretty smooth, from our arrival to our departure, and the room itself was really nice and spacious. The B&B is located in a nicer and a bit more charming part of Palermo, and is within walking distance of many of the key sights

The room was located in a splendid apartment on two floors, with a large kitchen and a beautiful living room and two other bedrooms, all with bathroom, furnished with style and complete with everything. The room was not very big, but welcoming and functional, with bathroom and exit to the beautiful terrace of the apartment. Very good cleaning and free availability of water, tea and coffee. The staff who welcomed us and looked after us during the four days of our stay were very kind and helpful, allowing us not only to check in at 9 in the morning, but also to check out in the middle of the afternoon, continuing to use the room and apartment. The only note, if I really have to find something, was the breakfast not very varied and with packaged products. My wife and I visited the palace on our honeymoon. The location and room were perfect and the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. The concierge even coordinates with a nearby parking garage to make parking and retrieving your car a breeze if needed. Breakfast was wonderful! All homemade in the palace and so, so delicious - not to be missed. It’s served in an intimate dining room that encourages conversation amongst the guests - we loved swapping stories and recommendations with the others! I cannot recommend the palace enough; we hope to visit again.

Our visit to Palazzo Arone dei Baroni di Valentino was nothing short of extraordinary. We were 3 women traveling by ourselves for the first time in Sicily. We wanted to find a location we would feel safe and wanted two full bathrooms in one accommodation. Therefore, we chose to stay in the two bedroom apartment. This accommodation offered us a rare glimpse into Palermo’s aristocratic past and breathtaking architecture, making it an unforgettable experience. We kept saying this palace found us… because it was such a hidden gem. It exceeded all expectations. The personal care given to us by the staff, daily and consistently, was Five Star service. I truly don’t believe I have found that personal of service in any Five Star Hotel. It was above and beyond gracious. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, providing fascinating insights into the palace’s history and its place in Palermo’s cultural heritage. As well as, assisting us with any information, help, or guidance that we needed during our stay. I wouldn't ever want to stay anywhere else in Palermo.

We’ve been visiting Palazzo Arone di Valentino for many years now, and every single stay has been nothing short of fantastic. The palazzo itself is absolutely stunning full of charm, history, and elegance and it truly captures the beauty and spirit of Palermo. The owners are incredibly warm and caring, always going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. It’s clear how much love and attention has gone into preserving this beautiful property, and staying there feels like stepping into a piece of Sicilian history. If you’re planning a visit to Palermo, we couldn’t recommend this place more highly it’s a true gem in the heart of the city and a perfect base for exploring everything Palermo has to offer. We’re already looking forward to our next stay!

Palazzo Valentino is perfectly located in the middle of Vittorio Emanuelle Street. You can reach every place you want to see, such as the historical centre, restaurants, bars, street food, marcato, downtown and port in a short time by walk. The apartment history goes to an old noble family. It has an aristocratic culture and offers warm and modern services. Each room has its own perfect ambience and magnificent decoration. You can stay in a room from centuries ago, wake up to the voices of artisans, and listen to the songs of Italian street artists or loud Arabic tunes. It's not easy to find a reasonable place in Palermo, I highly recommend Palazzo Valentino.

Traveled to Palermo with a group of friends for a birthday and had the most fabulous time staying at Palazzo Arone. A special thank you to Federica for helping me organize a dream celebration. The private dinner experience set up for us was truly one of the highlights of my birthday weekend—flawless service and such warm hospitality! It was a dream come true. Each room, especially the suite, was one of the most beautiful I have ever stayed in, and I can’t imagine staying anywhere else when I return to Palermo.

Rooms available in a historic - and still occupied - baron's palace on one of the main streets in old Palermo. Beautiful antique charm, plus excellent hospitality provided by our hosts Darryl and Sara.

Palazzo Brunaccini is an elegant boutique hotel located in an 18th-century mansion in the heart of Palermo, Sicily. The hotel features individually decorated rooms with a modern design, showcasing contemporary art and designer furniture alongside original architectural elements like beamed ceilings and arched doorways. Guests can enjoy upscale dining at the hotel's restaurant, which offers authentic Sicilian cuisine using fresh ingredients from the nearby Ballaro market.
Friendly, helpful and service minded staff. Very clean rooms with beautiful decoration, comfortable beds and nice view from the balcony. The breakfast is good but too much focus on sweets, could be a bit healthier in my opinion. The only negative detail about this hotel is the poor coffee included with the breakfast.
Elin K — Google review
A disappointment. There are probably nice rooms in this hotel but mine was at ground level next to restaurant tables and definitely not worth $164. I would say $80 value at best. Ordinary breakfast. Charming staff and great location.
Francois C — Google review
The hotel is very elegant. And sophiaticated. The interior is stunning. The building is very beautiful and historical. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with cozy sofas and nice pillows. The neighborhood is not nice and less secure. At the time I checked in, in the afternoon the bellboy wasn’t there and the receptionist was not offering any assistance in helping me with luggage and showing the room. It was very difficult to find it and only accessible by stairs. Definitely not what i am use to. The breakfast was not impressive by any means. No decent selection of fresh fruits. For fresh squeezed orange juice there was a surcharge. .
Marilyn J — Google review
Obviously an old building situated in the old town, which is nice as such. Nevertheless, rooms are very dark, some more lights would definitely help. Service was ok but nothing special. Waitress attending breakfast constantly talking privately on the phone. Breakfast choice a deception - why does a 4 star hotel not provide local pastry from a bakery, but instead offers crostata and cakes from Mulino Bianco, which can be bought at any convenience store? And instead of offering canned peaches, why not get them fresh from the market, which is 50 mts away? To sum up, a hotel to pick for its location, but not a 4 star experience.
Nikos K — Google review
The hotel itself is quite nice, but the rooms are stuffy and not great. Had to switch rooms due to various issues with the rooms and AC units, eventually landing on a deluxe suite. Tried room service but was told we had to go down to the restaurant to place the order because of an event that night, which kind of defeats the purpose of room service (and why we chose to stay here). When doing that, they look our order without issue. Still not sure why this couldn't have been done over the phone as advertised. The food was excellent and arrived quickly. Location was also great, provided your cab knows where to drop you off. Otherwise you may need to walk through the market with your bags to arrive.
Rob H — Google review
The rooms are spacious and clean. The decor is not great. Helpful staff. It is in the historic center. It is lively, but the area is not clean. Lots of restos/bars/cafes. Seven Restaurant which is 8 min away has a beautiful rooftop. Most of the area seems to cater to a younger crowd.
Vasiola B — Google review
We found hotel on various boking sites, it was definitely available on booking.com but as wr showed up at the reception we were told they don't have any rooms available for one night. We had to check out from the previous places due to maintenence issues and just walked into this one but the attitude here was awful, very snobby and unfriendly. I would not expect it from a hotel of this standard. I don't recommend it to anyone.

Villa Igiea, a Rocco Forte Hotel, is an elegant property located in Palermo, strategically positioned between Monte Pellegrino and the Gulf of Palermo. The hotel offers a blend of urban living and natural beauty with stunning Mediterranean landscapes. The design of the hotel draws inspiration from the rich history of Palermo and has been meticulously reconstructed under the guidance of renowned architects.
We’ve just returned from a beautiful stay at Villa Igiea to celebrate our honeymoon. The hotel itself is stunning — gorgeous grounds, lovely interiors, and great restaurants. Breakfast, in particular, was a real highlight! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and our room was really comfortable. Overall, we had a very positive experience, but there are a couple of things worth mentioning. The hotel overlooks a working port on the right-hand side, where large ferries and ships are docked. These stay brightly lit through the night and can be noisy, unfortunately our room faced that way, so it did affect our sleep. It’s something we hadn’t expected, as it isn’t visible in any of the photos or videos of the hotel online. During our stay, there was also ongoing construction in the port area — we were told it was related to creating a private beach for the hotel next year. For five days, there was constant drilling, engine noise, and shouting from workers, which made it hard to fully relax as it was directly below the pool and sun loungers area. Please see the videos I’ve uploaded. It’s a beautiful hotel with lots to offer, and we did enjoy our time overall it’s just a shame about the noise and light disturbance, which impacted an otherwise special trip.

The Villa Igiea was our closing hotel during our Sicilian adventure, and it was indeed the star at the top of the Christmas tree. With its lovely historic setting overlooking the port of Palermo, the hotel building itself is a gorgeous blend of times past, present, and even future as they work to improve their facilities. The staff were all so warm and welcoming. The service in all the restaurants and bars was perfect, particularly at our dinner at Florio. Amazing. While the location makes it too far to walk to the theaters or the historic center, it is a welcome respite from the busy streets of Palermo. Thank you, Villa Igiea, for a delightful close to our vacation in Sicily.
Rhonda K — Google review
We stayed at the hotel for two nights. The location was perfect for us as it was just outside the busiest part of Palermo. The building is beautiful and historic(including spectacular views of the bay and surrounding mountains). From the moment we checked in and until we left, the staff could not have done enough for us. We had arrived after some long traveling and the took extra care to ensure our comfort by quickly getting us in our room, offering refreshments and securing reservations at their primary restaurant, Florio. We found the food to be very good, the bar active and entertaining and the patio overlooking the bay very calming and inviting. Upon leaving, they packed us very njce bags of breakfast items for each of us in our party as we had an early departure. It was a very nice touch. If you’re looking for true 5 star accommodations while in Palermo, Villa Igiea is the best spot. Arrivederci per ora, torneremo!

My mother and I just spent 2.5 week in Sicily and this hotel was our favorite. The location and grounds were outstanding. The food was excellent and the service was top notch. Roberto Supporta (we asked for his full name) was absolutely incredible. He would consistently go above and beyond anything that was asked of him. We looked forward to seeing him at the different restaurants at lunch and at cocktail hour every day. .i hope that the owners of this establishment know what a dedicated gentleman they have working for them. Wonderful hotel… highly recommend!!!

For those who appreciate excellence and elegance…. We spent a long weekend at Villa Igiea with my family during the Palermo Half Marathon — and it was simply exceptional. A fantastic hotel. Rooms and service perfect. Very nice and helpful staff. We liked the terrace of the hotel. Whether breakfast or dinner the view and the food were excellent. Newly learned: The drink “Colonel” (sorbet) is called “Sorbetto al limone con vodka” in Italy.

Spectacular old world waterfront property that was once a private estate that has been meticulously restored. The food is very nice and the service is excellent in most areas. In some not so much. I had a accident on a boat provided by the hotel and my leg got very banged up and bloody. I came back to the hotel and no one offered to call me a Dr. or even followed up with a phone call later to see how I was doing. A shame because that put a damper on my view of the hotel.

Ai Vicerè - Bed and Breakfast is a charming 2-star accommodation located in an early 20th-century building near Massimo Theater in Palermo. The B&B offers free Wi-Fi, loaner bikes, airport shuttle service, valet parking, and housekeeping. It's conveniently situated just 1 km from Palermo city center and within walking distance of the 17th-century Chiesa di San Giuseppe dei Teatini.
The room is spacious, it is clean and the staff is friendly. They also clean well. It is close to the city center, so it is easy to go anywhere. There are many restaurants around, and the supermarket is close. However, the room was a little cold. I wish there was an additional heater. The liquid soap is also inconvenient to use. I did not eat breakfast, so I do not know the taste. But overall, I am satisfied. I will come back again if I come to Palermo.

We stayed at the lovely Ai Viceré for three nights upon our family's arrival in Palermo, and we found the room to be peaceful and clean. If we ever come back to Palermo, we will be booking here again!

Our stay at Ai Vicerè was truly special- the B&B is a former school! The hosts were incredibly hospitable and friendly. There was so much space in the room and an adorable balcony overlooking lush residences. It was incredibly clean while still maintaining it's original charm. Palermo Inn Boutique Hotel Bed e Brekfast Apartment is a charming accommodation situated in the heart of Palermo, just a short distance from major attractions like Palermo Cathedral and Fontana Pretoria. The hotel offers well-maintained rooms and bathrooms, along with an extensive breakfast spread for guests to enjoy. Visitors have praised the friendly and helpful staff who go out of their way to provide useful tips for exploring the city.
A nice hotel with a beautiful atmosphere. The hotel room was nicely designed and matches the pictures. Good location, central and nice area. Surprisingly low noise level from outside or the sound/noise isolation was super good Good internet, room cleaning and incredibly nice staff. The breakfast had a very good selection of food to suit everyone's taste buds. There is no elevator, several stairs but the staff were helpful and always helped with the bags. The hotel's own taxi driver Alessio is very friendly, highly recommend him for anyone in need of a ride. The taxi cannot enter the narrow street and stops a bit away, many taxis park on the other side and you have to walk a little further while Alessio stops in the right place much closer

A really boutique hotel to stay at in downtown Palermo, very close to the market. To note, this is a very old building, renovated into a beautiful stylish hotel. We stayed on the fourth floor and it was all stairs, no elevator. The staff was very helpful with our luggage and with anything else we asked. They gave us free breakfast, which is also in another part of the building, although small space for breakfast, the breakfast is very good. Definitely would come again, though without children, preferably for convenience.

I had a great stay in Palermo at the Palermo Inn. The Inn was beautiful with great views and walking distance to the historic center. The staff was terrific - the restaurant was great. The only downside was that the bed was quite uncomfortable. It was only a few days so I was able to manage but they need to invest in some new mattresses and pillows.

Very nice structure, modern, elegant and effective, in the hearth of Palermo. To get there from the metro station, you go through the market, in a magical atmosphere. There is a trattoria nearby, open air. The sleep is great, the surroundings are very silent, atmospheric. The breakfast, unbelievably flavoured and abundant. The service, great. Definitely recommending, definitely wanting to get back there.

The La Terrazza Sul Centro bed & breakfast is a 17th-century building located in the heart of Palermo. The rooms are simple but charming, with large windows that offer stunning views of the city skyline. There's also a rooftop terrace where guests can relax and enjoy the fresh air.
Excellent stay here - the staff is very friendly and responsive and communicates proactively. The location is really excellent as you are walking distance to all the major attractions in Palermo, as well as to the water and the bus and train station. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast on the rooftop terrace is a delight. We really enjoyed our 5 night stay here. Only thing to note is that there are many stairs, both to the room and to the rooftop terrace, which may be challenging and/or limiting depending on age and ability.

My husband and I stayed for a week last year on our honeymoon to Palermo. We had a great experience at La Terrazza Sul Centro. The staff were friendly, helpful, and went above-and-beyond to make our stay and trip amazing. The breakfast on the upper terrace was delicious and the views phenomenal. We especially enjoyed the baked goods and cappuccinos. My husband has a severe nut allergy and they helped us ensure we were using the correct local phrasing when asking restaurants and businesses about their food content. We also got great suggestions on must-see sites in the area. The location is in walking distance of many of Palermo's famous sites and made exploring the city fun and inviting. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Palermo!

The staff here are exceptional. We were mostly helped by Andreas but have to give a mention to Luigi too who was also brilliant. The welcome here and I formation offers is second to none in Italy. These people genuinely care about the customer staying there. Our room (no 3) was huge, quirky and well equipped. We had two balconies and a massive bathroom. The history of the place and the remaining artworks from the previous owner were amazing. Location is perfect for exploring the city. Palermo is a busy loud place and people get up early to set up their businesses. Room has decent sound proofing but if you need to then ask for a room that doesn't overlook the street. I have no hesitation in recommending this place and will 💯 stay again the next time I am in town. Loved it!

We stayed in room 10, it's a very large 2 bed apartment with a GREAT view from the private terrace. It's got all the right stuff in the right places, but it's just tired and needs a revamp. The patio needs a good clean, and so do the table and chairs, the broken parasol needs replacing so the patio can be used as it's too hot to sit out during the day with no shade. Housekeeping is poor. We were told we would have a cleaner every day, make the bed etc, but they did very little day 1, less on day 2, and day 3, they didn't bother turning up at all. We were meant to receive daily water but had none at all. The bins were left to ferment and overflow (very poor service indeed). And the stained sofa is awful. It needs a clean it's a great size but hard to relax on with so many stains. The location of the B and B is great. Pretty surrounding streets. There is a little supermarket 5 minutes away, 2 minutes walk from a lovely little restaurant, and one of the markets. Also, the cathedral is 10 minutes away. And the main strip of restaurants is less than a 10 minute walk. Excellent location, but the BnB needs some attention.

Italy keeps surprising me. I’ve seen a lot of Italy and didn’t know what to expect from and in Palermo. Again I was pleasantly surprised. By the beautiful town of Palermo but especially by the Khalisah accommodation! What a fantastic place at the edge of the old part of Palermo! They have 12 rooms. Unfortunately we only saw one. You can tell that the owner is an architect. The place was renovated marvellously!! Old elements like the doors and window arches and the old walls are still visible! A beautiful stairs to the second floor. Eye for detail everywhere!! Just wonderful! Clean, good service, great location. There’s nothing negative to mention about this place only a small recommendation to make the breakfast experience even better. You could replace some of the ‘dolce’ by a boiled egg and a tomato! Our experience of Khalisah and of Palermo was great! Italy keeps surprising me!!

Guests can indulge in amenities such as a refreshing pool, relaxing Jacuzzi, and rejuvenating spa services.
A lovely place to stay. 15min walk from the city centre. Vincenza as a host was really helpful and wonderful. Room is ok, maybe an extra power outlet wouldn't hurt :) But in general a good accomodation. Don't expect much from a breakfast (only sweets).

Check in issues: it is a self check-in process, but we were not made aware of this before we arrived. When we called the phone number left on the door a woman hastily told us she will message us on whatsapp and hung up. After this, she rejected our calls. Fortunately, we had access to mobile internet and we managed to receive the instructions, but they shouldn’t just assume that tourists will have internet on their phones on the day of check-in… They should be sending this info in advance. Also the way they hung up and would not take any further calls was very unprofessional. Room: it was okay for the price. I would not say luxury but comfortable. Breakfast: Well this is non-existent. You are given a voucher for a croissant, which you need to leave at reception the day before to receive it the next morning. There are tea and coffee making facilities, but you are not allowed for use them yourself, you need to ask the woman at reception to begrudgingly make you a drink in the morning. We also had to pay for the bottles of water that were left in the room, which are usually free in most hotels.. There was nothing in the room to warn these were an extra cost.. Location was very good, can’t fault that. Overall, the level of hospitality was very low and i would not book again or recommend it.

-The rooms are very noisy, in front of the room was a coffee machine, which is in use in the early morning. The other guests are walking and talking in the morning around there so there is no quiet place in the room. -The shower was leaking at 03 am. -Outside of the building on the wall was a construction, so again no option to open the windows because of the noises. -The bathroom light/button was broken, so we couldn't shut the lights off, we had to go on to electric box to put it off. -The rooms are very bright at night, there is no option to cover up the windows from the bathroom. The receptionist or the house keeper, was very unfriendly, we asked for a refund or a free late checkout, but we just became a pissed message back. We would never recommend this hotel, we had two horrible nights there and went sick after the lack of sleep.

Luxury has obviously various interpretations depending on region, GDP and comparison level... The junior suite we got was cute, nicely decorated, clean, comfy queensize bed but tiny- it's actually 1 person room- and buggy in several aspects. Quite nice having bathroom/ room built-in loudspeakers, also street facing balcony is appreciated. Code accessed building/floor No free parking street but 700m away is already free of charge. Busy area, very close to main pedestrain street, however not noisy during night Main issue was the lack of heating (yes in Palermo during winter one needs heating :)) as the AC did not heat The toilet roll was half broken and TV remote hardly functioned; of course none of those were repaired during the 2 night stay A minus is also the early breakfast (till 9:15) and the checkout until 10, which seems standard in Sicily The host speaks no english pitifully but tried to be nice Concluding, 29 Venti Luxury is a nice, recommendable location for a short stay, but far from being luxurious 😉

Not luxury at all. Very poor quality, all show and no substance. A/C poor and hardly working. Broken bathroom fittings, broken toilet seat, blocked sinks...this place really needs some urgent maintenance. Lovely receptionist, tried to be helpful. Receptionist boyfriend provided airport transfer service. Hotel location great, but very substandard accommodation due to lack of repairs. Avoid and find somewhere else in vicinity.

0/10! More than an hour after receiving the confirmation email we arrived to the ‘hotel', there were nobody on the reception, the doors were closed, nobody was answering the doorbell. We unsuccessfully called 20 times (!!!) on the mentioned number and we also send text messages with no answer. After more than 30 minutes of waiting in front of this facility like an idiots, we decided to leave. The email with instructions came at the moment, when we were already driving in the car to another hotel. They gave me no excuse and they took my money for nothing. I definitely do not recommend!!!

Probably the worst room that we've ever booked!!We didn't get any infos before we arrived.I had to contact them twice to get the information on how to enter the appartment(codes, keys etc). We've received the required infos just hours before our arrival(what happens if you have no internet connection??). You can easily find a parking place on the street but there are some crooks waiting for people to park so that they can earn some money. And if you don't pay, you'll probably find your car with scratches. So we immediately left our stuff in the room and parked in the underground parking that was suggested(15 euros/day-very difficult communication but the guys were nice-you have to leave your car keys there because they have to move all the time your car in order to make place). The room didn't have a safe(as described) and the Internet was not working.I called our contact to inform her and she just hanged up the telephone telling me that she doesn't understand. I called her again and she told me to send her an SMS. I wrote that our room doesn't have a safe and she never answered during the four days of our stay. About breakfast, forget it. It didn't even exist. On the first day, we got a croissant(you have to leave a note that you actually want something to eat for breakfast), there was a small coffee machine. On the second day, our croissant was burned and during the third and fourth day, we got absolutely nothing. Just coffee. So, if you write "breakfast", provide one!! As mentioned, the internet never worked. Most of the switches for the lighting are sticky and you need a great effort to turn the lights off in the bathroom. The toilette seat was broken. It was not even screwed on the toilet. The name has nothing to do with the reality.

It is conveniently situated within walking distance of over 50 historical sites, making it an ideal choice for exploring the city. This is a small hotel in an excellent location. You can easily walk to many famous locations. The hotel is immaculate and the staff are amazing. We paid extra for the daily breakfast service and we were extremely satisfied with the quality and selection of items. We would definitely stay here again.

The location is great as it is close to the city centre but overall it is an ordinary hotel. Our room had a particular strong smell that wasn’t nice and it was quite dark as the windows were opening to an internal space. We didn’t try breakfast there but instead went to nearby coffee bars. There wasn’t any particular service that makes it special and they don’t have free parking so we had to take our car somewhere else which wasn’t convenient

Beautiful Boutique Hotel. Great Location. Front desk, especially Valentina was very helpful and courteous. Breakfast buffet was delicious and Rosy (our server) was the BEST!! The only issue was our room faced the street and it could get loud into the early morning hours.
Linda B — Google review
So, this hotel has some definite pluses and minuses. The pluses: The room is clean and large. The wifi is good. The location is central. There's a decent shower. Front desk staff really tries. The minuses: The thermostat doesn't actually do anything (my room was rather warm). The location is VERY loud at night -- bring earplugs or noise cancelling headphones. I got woken up by drunk screaming arguments from the plaza in the middle of the night two nights. You get one towel at a time -- not fantastic if it's 36c out and you want to shower twice a day. Hotel policies are strange -- it was really difficult as a non-EU resident to get an invoice confirming stay, very unusual for an internationally-branded hotel. (Again, the front desk staff tried, it seems like they are just not set up for international business travelers).

Hotel room was spacious especially for European standards and the bed was comfortable. We had an issue with hot water which was resolved while we were there but we did have to take 1 night of cold showers. Location is very very walkable.

The hotel is very new and modern. It's well located in the heart of Palermo, very close/walking distance to all the major sights. There are a lot of great restaurants and markets around to enjoy. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was very plentiful with lots of both sweet and savoury options. The AC wasn't very powerful. It wasn't an issue for us since we stayed in spring time but might be more of an issue in the summer.

What a wonderful stay! spacious, modern room with patio. helpful and friendly staff, always willing to share sightseeing ideas and even helped me make a couple of phone calls in Italian. The breakfast was delicious with fabulous variety. The kitchen staff were so attentive, and went above and beyond to create a vegan breakfast for my daughter, Location was excellent - close to shops and restaurants.

If you go to Palermo, this is the only place you should ever consider staying. Eleonora is such an amazing person and the breakfast she prepares every morning is delicious. The rooms are all perfect- the size, the comfort level, the cleanliness. I highly recommended!

We loved our stay at Tetide! The rooms where spacious and comfortable, very nice bathroom. The room was cleaned every day. The whole b&b is nicely decorated and pretty and is in the nicer part of town, but still walking distance to the historical center and 5 min away from the subway. Breakfast was awesome! I am gluten-free and there was always a gluten-free section with both savory and sweet options - sandwiches, croissants, donuts, once even a chocolate cake that Eleanora baked herself! 😊 She was always very helpful with any questions we had about trains, buses, beaches…whatever we needed!

The room was clean, the air conditioning was very good and there was a mosquito net on the window so we had no problems with mosquitoes. The location is great, the city center with good restaurants, bars and many attractions can be reached on foot in 10 minutes. The hostess was very friendly and took time to give us good tips for Palermo. She also prepared us a nice breakfast with regional specialties. We really enjoyed our stay.

After two weeks of hiking through Sicily, my father and I spent the third week in Palermo at Tetide Home. I can say, that it was one of the best experiences regarding travelling we have ever had. The room Eleonora, the owner, gave us, was big and very quiet. The bathroom was new and elegant, better than in many hotels we have visited during our trip. But not only the comfort but Eleonora herself made our trip very much enjoyable. Everyday she prepared a great breakfast with a huge variety of savory and sweet food. She even baked cakes with local ingridients. Also great was the fact, that the B&B is located in one of the best areas in Palermo. It is very beautiful, quiet and there are lots of good restaurants around. You just need 10 to 15 minutes on foot to reach central sights of Palermo. We had a very pleasant stay at Tetide Home in Palermo and if we will ever come back to Palermo, we would stay at Tetide Home with Eleonora any time.

If you go to Palermo, this is the only place you should ever consider staying. There aren't a lot of rooms, so consider yourself lucky if you are able to get a room here! The rooms are all perfect- the size, the comfort level, the cleanliness- and Eleanora is possibly one of the kindest human beings you'll ever meet. Aside from the wonderful rooms and the amazing Eleanora, there is the food. We were discussing the best food we had in Palermo and at the top of our list were the amazing cakes that Eleanora made each day for breakfast. Whenever I set food in Palermo, I will definitely be stopping by Tetide Home. I feel so incredibly lucky to have been able to stay there and to leave with a new friend (Eleanora)

(Translated by Google) We spent a lot of money on the B&B Amaris and were really disappointed. Before booking, we asked 2 times whether the room was quiet and whether there was no construction site in the same building. We were assured by B&B Amaris that there was no construction site and that the room was very quiet. That was absolutely false information! There has been a construction site on the floor below the B&B Amaris for some time, as a new B&B is being built there. When we brought this up, we were rejected in a very unfriendly manner and even lied to. We were told the construction suddenly started 2 days ago. This is not true, as residents of the area have assured us that this construction site has been going on for several weeks. The hotel owners didn't accommodate us at all and were quite unfriendly. To date we have not received any compensation, only further lies from B&B Amaris. We are really very disappointed and do not recommend this B&B to anyone, as loud construction noise can be heard every morning from 7:00 a.m. and lasts the entire morning.

Dietro La Cattedrale is a newly made, modern apartment located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood just 300m from the cathedral and other main points of interest in Palermo. The apartment is clean, with automated features for convenience. It is close to landmarks like il Palazzo Reale, la Cappella Palatina, la Chiesa di San Giovanni degli Eremiti, and more.
Great place to stay, in the heart of Palermo, very cozy and well equipped.

Good points Clean, modern, and in a quiet area just outside the center with great security locking (you need a passcode and a key). Not so great points No one to greet us at 3pm check-in. No one answered our calls so we were left waiting in almost 40° heat. We sent a text message and got a reply saying 'I can't talk now'... Then we were asked to take pictures of our passports and send them - why could that not have been done before? The stairs are insane! I hope you find the video amusing! My dad (75) booked this place and it doesn't mention anywhere about the steep stairs with a glass handrail and mirrors everywhere. It gives Squid Game vibes for sure. The lounge is supposed to be another bedroom with a fold out bed. Because of the table and chairs you can't actually open the bed up fully which meant my dad had to sleep on a half made bed, which came with no bedding either. We used the throw from the bedroom bed as a bottom sheet and he had one of my pillows as everything in the wardrobe didn't have any linen on. The bathroom curtain is see through so people can look in - very uncomfortable. The water pressure isn't great, so anyone with long hair, it's a nightmare to wash your hair! We didn't think there were any doors at first, but they are hidden and slide out, very heavy though. The air con is only in the lounge area and it doesn't filter through to the bedroom... So the bedroom is boiling. You have to turn the power to the apartment on with a key which means when you leave everything, including the fridge turns off... So you can't actually use the fridge for food etc.
Krystie P — Google review
It was overall the worst experience we had in Italy so far. The ceiling of the bathroom was completely moldy. We had cockroaches and the curtains had burn marks. Overall it is dirty and worn out. We tried to get our money back for the night we had to sleep there. Unfortunately the Dietro La Cattedrale team refused this.

Modern apartment, but you have to walk a lot of stairs. It’s a bit out of the center, which is nice because it’s more quiet.
Melody M — Google review
(Translated by Google) Even though the apartment has been renovated, there's a leak in the shower ceiling in the bathroom, where the host chose to install a small plastic pipe to catch the water dripping instead of fixing it! The shower head holder was broken, forcing you to hold it, and washing your hair is terrible!!! The refrigerator is OFF THE WHOLE TIME you're out, because it only turns on when you insert a key into a compartment, and this key is attached to the apartment's keychain, and the keychain is welded shut so you can't remove it and leave the light on! ABSURD! If you want to buy food, water, etc., EVERYTHING WILL BE HOT! Every time you turn on any faucet or flush the toilet, a pump turns on, annoying you with the noise, as you can also hear it from the other apartments that are owned by the same owner! Air conditioning is ONLY IN THE LIVING ROOM, and it doesn't cool enough to reach the bedroom! WIFI DOESN'T WORK! We stayed 5 nights in the 2nd floor apartment and it didn't work a single day! The building has NO ELEVATOR, and the stairs are super tight, with high steps and a GLASS handrail, making things worse! Carrying luggage up there is horrible!! The place isn't very pleasant either, and the entrance is a bit hidden! The host doesn't explain ANYTHING, and you have to figure it out or keep texting to ask everything! The bathroom window has a transparent curtain, which makes it easy for the people in the building across the street to see you naked! For me, it was a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!

(Translated by Google) Apartment really equipped with everything, new, clean and with beautiful finishes. It also has a very small balcony to which I recommend adding some clotheslines. THE KEY DELIVERY METHOD ABSOLUTELY NEEDS TO BE REVIEWED: we arrived well in advance of the scheduled check in at 3pm due to flight times and we asked if it could be brought forward and after several requests we received a negative response (and it is absolutely not a problem, it was just a question), but once we arrived there at 3pm there was no one to welcome us and we had to call to receive instructions via WhatsApp... Very nice bathroom, but perhaps not very functional: the sink is nice but uncomfortable because it is small and low; the top is in dark stone and therefore all the splashes of water are clearly visible; the shower lacks a shower gel holder; more hooks for towels are missing; the strong points are definitely the brightness and the window. Fresh apartment, 5 minutes from the cathedral and the main tourist street. Surely returning late at night can be a bit "dangerous" because it is on a small street perpendicular to the main road (400-500 meters) but it is certainly not anyone's fault.

Night Vucciria is a bustling market area near the port, known for its lively atmosphere and food carts. Despite being heavily affected by World War II bombings, the area still thrives with a vibrant street market. The piazza is surrounded by ramshackle buildings and offers a unique experience for visitors to explore and enjoy local cuisine.
Great food. Charismatic service, an awesome experience. It was recommended by a local and exceeded my expectations.

The Giorgio I hotel in Palermo offers modern accommodation close to the cathedral church 'Cattedrale di Palermo'. Additionally, the venue features free WiFi throughout.
Very good location, 5-10 minutes from train station, 5 minutes from Piazza Bellini, bus stop right in front of the building. You should go in the gate, past the frontal builing, the b&b is located in the courtyard building, therefore it is very quiet! Chiara were waiting for me at the confirmed check in time and explained everything. You can contact her on whatsapp if you need anything. The room was very nice, new furnitures, good AC, fast wifi, and very clean! Breakfast voucher for a croissant and a coffee in a bar, 3 minutes from the b&b.

(Translated by Google) We stayed for 6 nights, and the apartment's location is top-notch. Every attraction in the city is within easy walking distance, which is excellent. However, the location also has its drawbacks... We checked in at a nearby store, a 12-minute walk from the apartment. We received a very warm welcome and a brief introduction to the city. Our room, "Biddizza," had a small kitchenette in the closet, with a sink and a stovetop. It wasn't really suitable for cooking, especially since our clothes were right next to it in the closet. But we didn't come to Palermo to cook for ourselves. The room has a small refrigerator and smart TV, as well as a Nespresso capsule machine for coffee. The duvet and bed linen were unfortunately a bit stained, but that's okay; the room was generally very clean. The room door is a sliding door and therefore very thin. The hallway is shared with the other rooms in the property, so it can get a bit noisy when the neighbors come home. The room's surroundings are also very authentic; from the small balcony, you can hear Italian soap operas from the neighboring buildings. It's very loud, and even without knowing Italian, you usually know what's going on. This didn't bother us; it's more a part of the authentic downtown atmosphere. However, children play very loudly in the square in front of the accommodation until 11 p.m. every night, playing soccer against the garage doors, which was quite annoying. So it's quite lively, but if you close the windows, it's quiet, and I slept wonderfully for six nights. However, I'm not particularly sensitive to noise. The loudest noises were actually the tourist neighbors in the accommodation, not the Italian neighbors. The small balcony is another plus; it's a nice place to sit and observe the square. There's also air conditioning. We ourselves stayed at the accommodation with a rental car, which I generally wouldn't recommend. For one thing, the traffic in downtown Palermo is stressful; it takes a long time to get in and out, and then you have to find a parking space. The parking regulations are complicated. There's a parking lot in front of the accommodation, and there's a gentleman who always sorts things out. So we've always had a parking space, but it was never certain before. But be careful, the accommodation is located in the ZTL zone. This means you can only drive in and park there if you have a valid permit (weekdays). Unfortunately, no one proactively informed us of this, and we ended up figuring it out on our own. Not a problem in itself; you can register your rental car (€5/day) and then drive in. It's all done via an app (PalerMobilita). Unfortunately, the app doesn't work in English, so you have to fumble around in Italian. You can also buy tickets for your car in tobacco shops, but most close at 8 p.m. You have to keep this in mind to even be allowed to drive in there. Unfortunately, we found out too late and hope that one day won't be too expensive. German media report fines of up to €160 per violation. The €5 per day only entitles you to enter the ZTL zone; the private parking garages in the area charge €25-€35 per day. So it's best to stay in this accommodation without a car; it saves stress and probably costs. The WhatsApp contact with Francesco was positive; he was available at any time and offered support. If you stay there for 6 nights like we did, the towels aren't changed; if you want them changed, it costs €10. The stained bed linen and blanket were unfortunately not replaced, but this could also have been a communication problem. Conclusion: The apartment is in a great location for exploring Palermo; you're right in the center and have numerous options (supermarket, bars, restaurants, shopping) in the immediate vicinity. I would recommend the accommodation without a rental car!
