The fish/seafood stew was delicious and probably my favorite meal while on a 5 day trip to Belgium. It was seasoned great and had a variety of seafood in the stew. Highly recommend. Also great service and interior is pretty upscale compared to most places in the area.

If you’re in the centre of Bruges, W Bagel Shop is a must-visit! The food is absolutely delicious fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a lovely vibe that makes it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. Highly recommended!

This is a must try! I absolutely loved every bite. The restaurant has a cozy outside seating that is perfect to dine out during a beautiful day. The service was wonderful and very inviting. The best of everything. The best applesauce, the best salad, the best fries, best cheese croquettes and that Flemish stew….to die for! 💯 recommend!!

Brilliant little find in the back streets of the heart of Brugge, we had a delicious meal here in their unique underground cosy and intimate room. Our waiter was excellent and the door authentically Belgian, we loved the baked Camembert to start, had a delicious fillet minion, chefs muscles and lamb shanks, and ended with the delicious apple tart with ice cream, yum! Would recommend a visit.

The Republic Burgess is a fantastic spot for burger lovers! The food is top-notch, with juicy, flavorful burgers made from high-quality ingredients. The menu offers a great variety, catering to different tastes, and the portions are generous. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff are friendly and attentive, making sure you have a great dining experience. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this place is definitely worth a visit!

An absolute gem and THE place you need to eat if you're heading to Bruges. We booked here for the 5 course taster for our 10th anniversary celebrations. We've done a lot of tasting menus over the years and this by far our favourite. The service was beyond amazing, the wine was perfectly matched, and the food was delicious. I think I witnessed my husband finding a new plane of existence when eating the scallops. They were kind enough to bring some complimentary appetisers before the first course, and sweet treats with our coffees too. It was all so well thought out, really well paced and just all-round amazing! If you're debating which restaurant to head to for a tasting menu, this is one not to miss.

Excellent place for breakfast/brunch/lunch! A friend and I walked in without reading reviews beforehand, and boy were we pleasantly surprised! Staff are very friendly, and immediately knew we needed the menu in English. She explained the different waffles available and let us choose. The coffee is good (not as weak as some others in Bruges). It comes with a homemade cookie which was stunning! The waffles have a crusty exterior and chewy interior. Better than some places but I know it will not suit everyone's tastes. Can't please everyone! I bought scones to takeaway and they were EXCELLENT. Crusty on the outside but moist and crumbly on the inside. It came with lemon curd, berry jam, and clotted cream. Very legitimate! The lemon curd was amazing! I licked it up.

We had such a great experience at Fritbar. one of those places that truly lives up to its reputation! From the moment we stepped inside, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind, greeting everyone with a smile and keeping that positive energy going even though the restaurant was completely packed. You could tell they were super busy, but they handled the rush with amazing efficiency and genuine enthusiasm. It’s rare to see a team work so smoothly together while staying cheerful the whole time! The place itself has a modern and cozy vibe with hanging lights, wooden tables, and a casual setup that makes it perfect for both locals and travelers. The restaurant was full when we arrived, but thanks to how well-organized the team was, everything moved quickly. Tables rotated efficiently, and we didn’t have to wait long at all before enjoying our meal. Now, the highlight! the fries. Oh my goodness, they were unforgettable! Perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, and topped with generous layers of fresh ingredients. We tried two versions: one loaded with crispy bacon, onions, and herbs, and another with rich pork stew sauce and mayo. Both were heavenly. We paired them with a couple of Brugse Zot beers, a local favorite, which made the meal even better. Even after leaving, I couldn’t stop thinking about those fries, they were that good. If you’re in Bruges, don’t miss Fritbar. It’s not just about the food; it’s the whole experience, friendly staff, delicious dishes, and a lively, happy atmosphere that makes you want to come back again and again.

Our Stick Waffle experience was amazing! While wandering through the historic streets of Bruges, we stumbled upon this sweet little spot, and it exceeded all our expectations both visually and in terms of taste. The waffles were perfectly crispy, topped with carefully selected chocolate and toppings, creating an unforgettable flavor. The fact that they were served warm and beautifully presented deserves extra praise. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Belgium!

I was pretty skeptical since this place had so few ratings, and was basically empty, but I was really quite impressed. For 10€, we got a good sided portion odstew, fries, salad and a sauce, and a drink. Considering the location so close to the city center, it was good food for a great price.
