The Big Banana Fun Park is a top-notch amusement park located on the Northern NSW coast, offering a wide range of activities for the whole family. Visitors can enjoy banana-themed attractions such as waterslides, ice skating, mini golf, and laser tag.
Had a blast, every ride and activity was great, place clean and well maintained. We got the ultimate winter pass. So made the most of if, so much to do, highly recommend getting in early as it takes a while to do all the activities. Can't wait to see the plantation coaster, as I always loved the toboggan ride, spewing we missed it.

Stopped here for a break on our way back to Sydney. There's so much to do here for all ages, you could spend the whole day here! It's one giant fun park! The souvenir shop is packed with all sorts of goodies ranging from hats, soft toys, cups, pens, stickers, key rings, fridge magnets, t-shirts, stationary items, tea towels etc. Cafe has a good variety of hot and cold food, drinks, milkshakes, and snacks. Plenty of parking.

An entire day well spent last wk. Bought the Ultimate Pass for the family online. Rocked up before ticket box/activities opened to get a good car park. Thankfully, NSW school holidays hadn't yet started so wasn't too busy. Took the entire day to be able to experience all activities included in the Ultimate Pass, including saving the Arcade Room till after 4pm when all other areas had closed. Only downers were: 1 the expensive meals, 2 the Toboggan wasn't open, and 3 the ice skates were too narrow. Even after going up a size, had to regularly sit down and take the weight off. Will need to return when the Toboggan opens.

We had an awesome day at The Big Banana Fun Park – fantastic facilities, plenty of fun, and most of the staff were absolutely wonderful! Unfortunately, our experience was dampened by an encounter with the café manager, Tanya. I have a coconut allergy, and I could clearly detect traces of coconut (likely from cross-contamination with previous flavours). Rather than showing any concern, understanding, or basic duty of care, Tanya was immediately hostile, dismissive, and completely unwilling to help. She refused to offer a replacement, refund, or even acknowledge the potential seriousness of the situation, and her attitude was both unprofessional and unacceptable, especially for someone in a managerial position. As former café owners, we know exactly what good customer service looks like and this was the complete opposite. In any hospitality setting, especially when it comes to allergies, empathy and responsibility are non-negotiable. Thankfully, duty manager James went above and beyond to resolve the situation. He handled everything with professionalism, ensured we were looked after, and even gave my little one a bag of bananas for the long trip home to Brisbane - such a thoughtful gesture! It’s thanks to the rest of the fantastic team members and James’ outstanding service that this review is 4 stars instead of 1. They truly turned a negative situation into a positive experience, and we’re incredibly grateful for their care and professionalism. 👏🍌

Timed season / play time can we , depending on numbers, well worth it or a little disappointing. Wait times for a slide can exceed 30min or so. Given 2 hours, 2 - 4 slides can be a maximum. But for smaller kids or kids who enjoy the splash area, 2 hours for the price is well worth it. There is a lot to do overall at the big banana if you have the time and the funds. But it is definitely worth visiting If your not willing to wait a while, or pay the price for meals, its easily enough to bring your own.
Jesicca — Google review
This is a perfect fun park for the family with kids, as parents can join with them and have fun. I saw the kids really enjoying all the rides . However, if you are solo, or young couple without kids you guys may feel boredom as there is nothing to make your adrenaline rushing. Adults, they surely enjoy the self guided tour through the banana plantations. Staff are really courteous, good accessibility from highway, ample parking facilities are really good.
JOSEMON S — Google review
If you are visiting Coffs harbour and travelling with kids... this is where you want to be! There is a plethora of fun activities and games especially for the kids here. Of course, if you are enthusiastic about banana trees/plantation etc then there's plenty here for adults too. We stopped by here for a short visit during our road trip from QLD to Melbourne. It was amazing to see the kids enjoying themselves especially in the gaming arcade area. Souvenir shop, cafe and clean wash rooms are also available here along with plenty of free parking.

My Wife and myself visited the Banana Plantation here was a self guided tour that took about 30 minutes, where you see all the banana plants and learn about the history here at the big banana. Enjoyed our tour here and definitely recommend the visit great to learn about the history of the big banana. Family friendly place to visit too.

The Coffs Harbour Butterfly House is a captivating indoor tropical haven where hundreds of vibrant Australian butterflies flutter amidst lush gardens. This enchanting sanctuary in the heart of Coffs Harbour offers visitors an up-close experience with delicate creatures dancing through the air. The warm and humid environment inside provides a welcome escape from cooler outdoor temperatures, making winter an ideal time to visit. Additionally, nature enthusiasts can explore Digger's Beach for relaxation and wildlife watching at Muttonbird Island Nature Reserve.
Visiting The Butterfly House is such a worthwhile experience l. My children and I have had the pleasure of visiting many times. Having 3 sons, the dinosaur forest is obviously a huge draw card, and the Dino show that includes interaction with the audience is awesome. The beautiful hothouse that houses the Butterflies is my favourite- strolling through with these beautiful creatures dancing through the air is such a unique experience. Thank you for providing such a beautiful place for us to visit!
Renae F — Google review
Really nice place with lots of different butterflies to see. It was super interesting and we learned a lot about them as we walked around. We didn’t try the café but it looked really cute. The dinosaur show was funny, and interactive. Would definitely recommend, especially for families with little kids.
Layla S — Google review
Gorgeously decorated. Very nice owners and friendly staff. Will definitely have to check out the cafe next time. The dinosaur show was great and the butterfly house was amazing too!! My absolute favourite was the cafe though
Lisa A — Google review
I visited today and had the most amazing time. Such a great place for kids but there is something here for everyone. If you stopped and searched the leaves, there were butterflies everywhere, blending in with their surroundings. So many other things to look at and take in. The staff were so friendly and funny. Wonderful experience. Quirky and fun. Everyone should stop by the butterfly house when passing. ❤️🦋🦕🦖🪄🧚

My daughter is a big lover of dinosaurs and butterflies so this is an absolutely magical experience for her! Warmer days are best for the butterflies - as to be expected as that’s how it is in nature! Regardless you will still get to see butterflies. The Gerald dinosaur show is a favourite, I highly recommend. Stick around after the show and you get to meet one of the resident baby dinosaurs or Hiccups the baby unicorn. My daughter adores them all (we know each of them by name), we always give them a pat and have a great experience with both them and their lovely caretaker. There’s a playground area out past the cafe which is perfect for the kids to play while waiting for lunch. Biggest display of dinosaurs on the coast and the animated ones are so realistic.
Amber S — Google review
My wife and I visited recently to see the butterflies and while it was a pleasant outing overall, I personally felt a little underwhelmed for the price of admission. The butterfly house itself was interesting as you do get to see a variety of butterflies up close and it is a unique experience, but for adults without children the value just did not quite feel worth the cost. Families with kids would probably get a lot more out of it as little ones would likely be fascinated and entertained for longer. One highlight for us was the Alice in Wonderland themed cafe. The decorations were charming and whimsical and it is a fun spot to grab a drink or a bite to eat. The nice thing is you do not have to pay an entry fee to enjoy the cafe, so that part alone could make for a cute stop even if you decide to skip the butterfly house. Be prepared for the conditions inside the butterfly enclosure as it is intentionally hot and humid to suit the butterflies environment, and you will leave feeling sweaty. The enclosure does make for a lovely spot to take some colorful photos. There is also a dinosaur section on the grounds that would definitely appeal to families with children. While we did enjoy our visit overall, I think the price to value ratio felt a little off for us.
Blake B — Google review
A beautiful and enchanting place to visit, especially for families with children. The park is home to a wide variety of butterflies, and when they apply a special nectar on your hands, you may find honey butterflies gently landing on you—it’s a magical experience! It’s truly a unique and immersive environment where children lose track of time and don’t want to leave. The joy of watching butterflies up close and even having them rest on your hands creates memories that last a lifetime. There are two Maze one is mirror maze and other wooden open to sky, Italian style. While the overall experience is delightful, the entry fee is on the higher side, which may be a consideration for some. However, there is a café inside where you can grab a bite and relax, making it a pleasant spot to spend a few hours. Perfect for a weekend outing, nature lovers, or anyone looking for a peaceful, colorful escape.

The North Coast Regional Botanic Garden in Coffs Harbour is a sprawling 50-acre park nestled by the estuary, featuring a diverse range of native plants, forests, and a serene Japanese garden. This subtropical oasis is bordered by Coffs Creek and offers an array of attractions including rainforests, sensory gardens, natural forests, mangroves, and exotic tropical plant collections.
This place is GORGEOUS, a true oasis that you can’t miss. The plants and landscaping are just beautiful, very easy to wander through with pathways all well kept. You’ll come across a Magnolia tree there that is just so stunning and worth the visit all by itself. It’s free to enter, has a sweet gift shop and plants for sale (very good prices) and the coffee at the little cafe near the entrance is yum. The ladies serving there were so genuinely warm and friendly that they deserve a special mention. 5 stars easy!
Aine C — Google review
The botanical garden was absolutely wonderful, vast, yet cleverly designed pathways made exploring a breeze, no getting lost here! A treasure trove of trees and plants, and super helpful engravings and descriptions dotted around. Stunningly beautiful, this garden's a perfect chill-out spot for both adults and kids to wander, soak up the nature vibes, and go at their own pace. They also have a lovely cafe and souvenir shop to round off the visit. A must-visit for anyone looking to get lost in the loveliness of nature.
Nick — Google review
Such a beautiful place to visit for a stroll through nature. I enjoyed the different themed areas, with my favourites being the glasshouse/orchid room and the New South Wales natives. The walking tracks were well maintained and it was good that a lot of the trees and plants were labelled. Beautiful time of year to visit during Spring before it gets too hot (Sep/Oct).
Corinna L — Google review
This is a beautiful place to wander through, it is a well maintained & a well planned layout with lots of wonderful trees & plants including a very pretty Japanese garden with a lagoon & bridge! A new cafe has opened here just recently which does great coffee & a fairly extensive savoury & sweet selection of snacks & food! 👍👏🌟

This is a MUST SEE if you're in the region. These gardens were featured on TV Better Homes and Gardens show recently (October 2024), and as we were holidaying in the area decided to visit. What a magnificent Botanical Garden. I couldn't believe we didn't know this place existed after visiting the area for years. A beautiful experience to wander through the variety of themed gardens, a greenhouse, and a beautiful Japanese Garden with bridge and pavilion - so serene. Well made sign posted paths (wheelchair ♿ friendly) and information boards. Plenty of seating, shade, green space, picnic spots and public facilities 🚻. Suitable for all ages and a rare thing - ✨FREE entry🌳🌴🌷✨ There are information brochures and a donation box at entry point which I didn't hesitate to drop a note 💵 in. I would encourage a donation to help sustain this nature treasure. The gardens are maintained by 180 volunteers and 1 paid worker - an incredible feat. I'll be back with a picnic 🧺 next visit.
Linda H — Google review
We had the best morning at the gardens. Patsy was wonderful, she went out of her way to accommodate us for my Nans 91st Birthday. She drove us in the buggy to the Japanese gardens where we enjoyed our picnic basket of cakes and coffees from the leaf and bean cafe. So many beautiful areas with different designs to explore. The 3 children loved it as well. Thank you for the memories.
Brigette S — Google review
This is an unusual botanic garden in that there is much more forest than sculpted gardens. Having said that, it is really lovely with lots of places to explore. The cafe was great too, fabulous muffins!

If you're seeking an adrenaline rush, look no further than Treetops Adventure Coffs Harbour, nestled in the picturesque Orara East State Forest. Since its opening in 2018, this park has captivated both locals and tourists with its exhilarating activities that allow you to reconnect with your adventurous spirit. Picture yourself soaring down ziplines and traversing suspension bridges high above the forest floor—up to 15 meters!
So much fun!!! Such an amazing experience taking my 2 very active and adventurous children (aged 11&13) here to Treetops! They got to show a very nervous mum how it’s done and would have spent the whole day flying through all the different levels if they could. It was incredibly safe with the harness that won’t let you fall - you just need to have the confidence to step out on the hanging platforms!! Will absolutely do it again and highly recommend to anyone considering this activity for a fun day out!!

I've been to treetops at Canberra before and this was as good if not better. Very helpful staff. Great courses, and very different to the other Treetops I've been too. We went with a 5, 8, 38, 40, and 67 year old. We even saw some bush turkeys!

Honestly so impressed with Treetop Adventure Challenge Coffs Harbour. This is the second time we’ve been and the kids (9, 12 & 15) absolutely love it and have been talking about going back since last year. The location is absolutely beautiful, the challenges are really well done and incredibly safe and engaging, but the real standout are the staff, all highly professional and experienced, engaging and warm with the kids. Today during one of the challenges our youngest got a bit scared and can’t thank Grace & Bre enough for the way they reassured and lead her through to the end of the challenge. To see the confidence in her afterwards, as a parent you couldn’t ask for anything more. Thank you to Daniel (beard / shaved head guy as well) you were brilliant too. 10/10 guys, thank you for a great afternoon.

This was such a fantastic experience! Our assistant, Brie, was such an amazing help and has such a beautiful energy and way with children 🙏 My husband, and children (13, 11, 9 and 5 years) took part 💚 My 5 year old did all 4 of the younger children's courses, and the older children went with my husband to complete the green and blue courses 💚 Everyone had so much fun! Thank you 🥰
Sarah K — Google review
A great adventure. The courses range from little kids to “Arborist” (quite challenging) it you are fitted in quality fall arrest equipment and feel perfectly safe. Zip lining above cars driving below is a bit of a buzz too. The staff look after everyone really well and know how to deal with visitors that have discovered that the adventure is a bit much for them. Obviously safety if first but fun is a close second!

Jetty Beach in Coffs Harbour is a historically significant spot with a timber jetty that offers a perfect setting to immerse in the local atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy activities like fishing, jumping off the jetty, and observing the bustling marina. The area also features dining options such as fresh local fish from Fishermans Co-op and cafes along the Jetty Strip.
Jetty Beach — near the end, turn left after crossing the railway lines and keep going until you reach a quiet spot. It’s a peaceful place where you can enjoy a leisurely walk, either along the beach or on the walkway. If you climb the small hill, you’ll be rewarded with beautiful views of the Jetty coastline.
Rosey M — Google review
We caught Bus 365 from Wollies to Jetty Beach to kill some time whilst our car was being serviced. Good choice. This cute little beach is lovely and safe to swim in. School kids were having surfing lessons and swimming from jetty to shore, there were elderly enjoying an easy swim, people speed walking, biking & rollerblading on the boardwalk. There were cafes and restaurants nearby and a fantistic fresh seafood co-op beside the marina. We enjoyed our little visit here and totally recommend it.
Aussirose T — Google review
WORTH THE STOP, WORTH THE SWIM, WORTH THE DAY! 🥰 This beach is a must-visit if you’re looking for a calm, crystal-clear spot with gentle waves perfect for bodyboarding. The water temperature is surprisingly not as cold compared to other Aussie beaches and is very kid-friendly! Shower and toilet facilities are clean and well-maintained 💯. We spotted several adorable sea turtles from the jetty – too cute! An early morning stroll along the harbour was magical, with stingrays and other fish clearly visible. Absolutely mesmerizing! Nearby, you’ll find several cafes and delicious takeaway fish & chips. Plus, there’s a Sunday Market right by the beach entrance. Highly recommend this spot to all travelers! 🙌

Best place to swim year round. Dolphins, sea turtles and a nearby walk on Muttonbird Island. But don't go there because if everyone shows up it will get crowded. If you do visit, please leave nothing but your footprints. Out of town visitors have been known to leave garbage behind on this otherwise pristine beach. Nearby showers on both ends of the beach, and good coffee and snack kiosks make it a great place to hang out.

Awesome spot to see Sea turtles and sting rays in the afternoon. Spectacular sunset walk with the family and dog. Then of course the famous jetty jump is always fun. Highly recommend the late afternoon stroll.

A beautiful little beach just north of Coffs harbour CBD. A lot of surfers riding the waves. At the southern end of Diggers beach, you can walk through the nature reserve that gave great views looking back over the beach and toward the Coffs Jetty. You can walk to Parks Beach.

Diggers is paradise. We always love visiting, if you're lucky you can even nab a shady spot on the sand down the southern end. Decent toilets, showers, shady carparks, and a coffee cart if you go at the right time of day makes it perfect for a family. Sadly dogs not allowed.

We all had a great time at the Coffs Coast Wildlife Sanctuary. The staff were amazing and knowledgeable and the animals were beautiful! The dolphin show was incredible and the seal was so cute! The turtles being rehabilitated were adorable! Great place to visit!

A must do in Coffs Harbour, we love this place. Still looks the same as when I brought my kids 15 yrs ago & very reasonable entrance fee which all goes to looking after these wonderful sea personalities. We chose to go on a very rainy day & had the park almost to ourselves but hence got very wet. The staff are so passionate & caring for the marine & do alot of rescue on the East Coast. All talks were very insightful, such a fantastic opportunity for us all to fall in love even more with our marine creatures.

Loved learning more about the turtle rehabilitation. The dolphin show was beautiful but miss the seal show that they use to have. The penguins were so cute! Great work Wildlife Sanctuary. We never tire from visiting!

Absolutely fantastic experience and an absolute fantastic reason why they operate. What they do is so crucial for marine wildlife. All money is worth going to experience this non for profit organisation.

Awesome to see and learn about all the animals, the two morning shows we went to were super informative. Not a large zoo, quite small but still cool
Hayley K — Google review
We had a great day. It’s a small place with lots of great shows for a half day. Staff were lovely and everyone gets a turn. We fed, played and pat the dolphins and they are so close and really engaging. My kids teenagers loved this as much as I did 30 years ago. Highly recommended.
Philippa B — Google review
The Sea Lion could walk surprisingly fast on land....and the Dolphins loved playing with the Football.

Coffs Coastal Wildlife Sanctuary is a beautiful animal sanctuary. The ticket is very reasonable for the experience, and knowing it’s a non-profit makes it even more special. The dolphin show was awesome—they were playful and cheeky, moving eagerly from their lagoon to the performance pool, clearly excited to show off their talents. The staff are passionate and caring, and every visit supports the sanctuary’s important work protecting these amazing animals.

The Clog Barn Tourist Attraction & Caravan Park is a unique and charming destination located on the Pacific Highway. It features a miniature Dutch village with historical buildings, waterfalls, canals, and windmills. Visitors can enjoy live clog-making demonstrations, indulge in traditional Dutch food at the cafe, and purchase authentic Dutch groceries. The attraction also offers accommodation at the caravan park for those who want to extend their stay.
Went for a visit, I believe the recent one star reviews are very wrong from what I experienced. The pancakes were the size of the plate. We had excellent service and it was busy. We went next door and met John, he will turn the train on for you. There is no point turning on the train when no one is out looking at the miniature houses as this just adds wear and tear. Next we saw John make a clog in 5 minutes. The traditional way takes hours. We even got the demo clog. The slippers are comfortable.
Luke F — Google review
After decades of driving past, we finally decided to drop in and it was definitely worth it. Was great to walk around and look at the miniatures and the pancakes were absolutely amazing. Will definitely make sure to stop in again at the cafe in the near future 😃 Picture is of a half size serving of pancakes. Delicious 😍

Great accomodation, good location close to shops, beaches and tourist attractions in Coffs Harbour. Clog barn was great nice Dutch themed place and amount of work to make look like it does is amazing. Definitely recommend to anyone to visit and stay very budget friendly too! My wife and myself enjoyed our stay here
Jamie P — Google review
We visited the pit stop attraction of house figurines & cafe. It is very admirable that the owners put so much care and thought into this shop. It is very calm and well maintained. P.S. the lizards are real ! Not statues 🦎😬

Loved it. $45 for campervan, powered and choice of grass or slab. It's a very small friendly park in Coffs Harbour, basic, but clean. Wifi works, fast enough to stream. Parks tend to blur into each other after travelling a long time, however this one's so unique I'll remember it forever. The miniature village, free to visit, is well worth visiting even if you don't stay.
Alistair R — Google review
We didn't stay in the hotel but did visit the clog barn. It's a lovely place and a lot of work has gone into it. We really enjoyed it! Definitely worth a visit. It's a little tricky to get to without a car but 20 minutes walk from the city centre
Jasmin R — Google review
Went to the tourist attraction which was a great experience. In the shop, there is a live demo of how a clog is made, which was very informative and interesting. To view the miniature Dutch houses/ palaces / buildings etc and windmills, one has to go through the shop. There is no entry fee to view the buildings. It is very well kept and lovely to see.

Nature & Parks
Muttonbird Island, located in Coffs Harbour, is a must-visit for nature enthusiasts. The island is an important roosting and breeding site for the wedge-tailed shearwater, offering visitors a unique opportunity to witness these fascinating birds in their natural habitat. A one-hour return walk leads to the island's rugged terrain and wind-swept vegetation, providing stunning panoramic views of the turquoise waters and serving as an ideal spot for whale watching during migration season from May to October.
Had a walk up here, loved it! It’s steep so gets your heart racing. Need good shoes. View from the top was so good! There is a pathway
Claire W — Google review
Very well done to protect the island and to make the walk easy for the people walking. Great views
Caren F — Google review
Need a decent level of fitness to get up there as the path is pretty steep. Great views though, well worth a visit
Bozena W — Google review
Wow…. What a scenic place, no words to describe the importance and beauty of this place. Walk to the summit demands some fitness, also the ammonia smell of birds dropping may make you going back, but once you reach the top of this Island the view is absolutely stunning. I spotted humpback whales in the Pacific Ocean, myriads of burrows of a bird species called shearwater, also you can take photos from the erected platform The view of Coffs harbour marina and fishing harbour from this island is mesmerising. I recommend it as a must visit place
JOSEMON S — Google review
great place to see the harbour. very windy but a great place to jog too. it's very steep therefore challenging. and if you're lucky you get to see some whales .
Chris L — Google review
You know you’re alive and how unfit you are when you start to head up the steep paved slope to the viewing area. So many shearwater nests along the cliff face of the island. Didn’t see any shearwaters but did see a magnificent Brahminy Kite just hovering then diving, a bird called a Pipit and a blue tongue lizard. The view is 360 degrees and I thought beautiful. From there you can walk along the boardwalk down a steep slope to another viewing area. People were fishing off the rocks at the base of the cliff. Have no idea how they got there. There are boards at the entrance to the island which has lots of interesting info on it as well as some at the viewing platform. Panoramic photos of the coastline pointing out places of interest. Yearly cycle of the shearwater and how they nest. Reasonably cool up there so a jumper might be a good idea. Free admission and you must stay on the paths. Would recommend and then a stop at fisherman’s coop for a serve of fish and chips.
Gina P — Google review
100% worth the drive there, the beautiful views and their paths make it an easy climb. A must-visit... The only thing that made the experience bad was the irresponsibility of dog owners. The path/boardwalk leading to Muttonbird Island was littered with dog excrement, there was even excrement rubbed into the concrete. This is not okay, pet owners have no right to ruin the money, hard work, or planning, for all involved in building the infrastructure and beautification for a safer pathway. Mother Nature did her best to create Muttonbird Island and the Coffs Harbour council put a lot of effort into making it accessible to all. It is rude and downright disgusting because pet owners are too selfish and lazy to clean up after their dogs. Thumbs up to Muttonbird Island but a big thumbs down to the irresponsible pet owners. Maybe the best way to fix the problem is to ban dogs altogether. I'll let my photos speak for the beauty of Muttonbird Island.
Carmen Y — Google review
Must visit spot when visiting Coffs Harbour. Muttonbird Island has a great view from up top. The start of the walk is very step but once you get past that there is a narrow paved and raised deck to walk along. If you are lucky you my see some whales. Plenty of information around to give you some interesting facts and stories. The walk is approx 4km loop when parking the Coffs Jetty Foreshore.

Located at Southern Cross University's National Marine Science Centre, the Solitary Islands Aquarium offers a fascinating insight into the diverse marine life of Coffs Coast and the stunning Solitary Islands Marine Park. Visitors can observe native species in easily accessible tanks, immersing themselves in the local biodiversity. The aquarium aims to raise awareness and appreciation for the area's marine ecosystems through interactive experiences, guided tours, and themed exhibits suitable for all ages.
An enjoyable afternoon viewing the various displays. Parking was available directly out the front of the aquarium. Not much of a wait to get into the place and we got straight into viewing the various displays. The only issue was that some of the displays did not have the names of the fish species attached to them. The theatre showed a captivating and informative series of programs that gives an insight into the importance of our oceans and the creatures living in it. Well worth a visit.

Online booking is required and costs $18 for adults, but it is well worth it, to spend a few hours delving deep below the ocean to see spectacular marine creatures and understanding how mankind needs to protect ocean life in order to sustain ourselves
Andrew W — Google review
Great experience at the aquarium. Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff that allowed for a very engaging and hands on experience. The museum was easy to access and had a wide range of marine life for us to see.

Very informative. Staff (marine scientists) are friendly and did some discussions about marine life around coffs coast area. There is also play area for kids!

Fantastic experience. My son (9,asd2) is obsessed with octopus and goes every time we come to Coffs and we learn something new each time. This visit we happened to be in time for fish feeding which was another level of fun and learning. The ppl are great too!
J — Google review
Priced for the size. Small little aquarium but staff knowledge is outstanding and their love for the creatures and passion for conservation is worth the visit. Loved the octopus, it's easy to spend a long time mesmerised with them (they definitely have personalities). Only need an hour there really but recommend going when it's not crowded as it's beautiful to take in but it may spoil it a bit if it was packed. Great for kids too!
JK ( — Google review
It was a great experience for the kids. The staff were very knowledgeable and were great with the kids during the talk. It is a very small aquarium but still a great way to spend a few hours listening to the talks and watching the fish and a very cool octopus.
Candice H — Google review
The tour is $18 and not free, the website is a little misleading in that respect. There are a few tanks with some interesting fish in. One of the students gave a little talk and fed the fish for us to see. Can learn a bit about the local marine life and overall was worth the visit.

Dark Arts Cafe & Bar is a unique and trendy spot in Coffs Harbour, New South Wales. Its funky vibe and eclectic aesthetic set it apart from other cafes in the area. The cafe offers a diverse menu with breakfast favorites, burgers, share platters, salads, and pizzas. Visitors can enjoy live music performances on weekends while savoring well-made coffee and tasty food. The venue's moody Goth interior and '80s-style graffiti create an atmosphere inspired by Melbourne's laneway bars.
If you like arty, grungy, eclectic, noisy and Melbourne back street coffee vibes, you'll love this. The owners behind the counter serving staff and taking orders. The staff are singing along with the background music. Queen was playing. There's stuff to feast your eyes on from the entry to the bathroom, walls and the noir character and paraphernalia. It's a Cafe but with an underground vibe. Its not usually the thing I go for, but this is done super well. I didn't eat food so I can't comment on that or wait times. This was a coffee stop en route back to Sydney. But I enjoyed the wait for coffee more than I usually do because of the stuff to look at and the friendly energy. Had families, couples and tourists chilling in hard wood throne couches, wooden tables and stools. Definitely a place I'd spend more time at with mates when back in Coffs next time.

Dark Arts has a very friendly staff and a beautiful atmosphere and overall aesthetic. The food here excellent but their drinks menu was even better. I came here every morning while on a mini vacation and they quickly remembered what I liked and even gave me extra excess drinks they’d made when preparing my order. Costs were fantastic, especially for the drinks menu.

The atmosphere of the place sinks in first as you enter the dark, cozy, and charming den. The furniture lends a certain refined air to the dining experience, and the chaise lounges in the back are divine. The coffee was delicious from the first sip. They cater for dietary requirements, gluten and dairy free on request. The music was all of my favourite jams. Would go again. Thanks, Dark Arts Cafe!

The early morning team were warm and welcoming, setting the tone for a great start to the day. The ham and sheese toasties on sourdough were absolutely next level. Perfectly crafted with top quality ingredients. Chef Michael even took the time to share what goes into making such an incredible toastie. And the coffee? Smooth, rich, and expertly made. Hands down, the best spot in Coffs!
Julie M — Google review
When we first walked up to this place, we immediately smelled coffee, which made us feel it was going to be a good spot. The interior is amazing; I love how they have their own unique style, and everywhere you look, you find something new. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and they seemed to enjoy working there. I ordered the iced chocolate ($6.70) and the house waffles ($23). The iced chocolate was great—not too sweet—making it very pleasant to drink. The addition of ice cream and whipped cream in and on the drink was a nice touch. The waffles looked amazing. When they brought them out, I was so surprised. The presentation and taste were great—again, not too sweet—and the fruit was a nice touch.

Stunning views. What an incredible place, my favorite in the Coffs. Not an easy walk for elderly people, even for an adult it could be challenging . Just make sure you get dressed properly for the wind and cold depending on time and weather. I learned it the bad way. No public toilets once you climbing the hill, no ramp access for a wheelchair to the hill.⛰️🏞️

It’s a must visit spot if you love the nature sightseeing place. Coffs Harbour is an ideal stopover on your road trip to QLD. Winter time me and my boyfriend be there at 4:30ish the view is stunning. Appreciate the beautiful world and the quality time we spent together.

Always worth the effort! It’s a steep walk over Muttonbird Island but the views are amazing. The ideal spot for whale watching in season, the closest you’ll get to them from land. Take your binoculars! There are great cafes at the marina or Jetty beach for a drink before or after your walk. There is no entry free. There are regulations as it is a nature reserve. For those with mobility issues, who cannot tackle the steep pathways on either end of the island, or for those walking dogs (who aren’t allowed on the island itself) you will find a flat, long J-shaped path (cement and then bitumen) along the marina with views of the moored yachts, people fishing or snorkelling, the jetty and base of the island. There is some shade and seats at the base of the island, before you head up the steep path.

This is one of the most beautiful sights I have seen in Coffs Harbour, I spent a long time in the Bird's Nest World, it was like a bird community, very magical! There are many bird holes, and birds will go in and out, so don't scare them because they will be afraid. In addition, there is a restaurant and a cafe, it is worth spending a wonderful breakfast or afternoon with your family or couple!

A great park in the heart of Coffs Harbour. Toilets, shade, lots of play equipment and benches to sit and relax. A coffee van for the parents, and brand new footpaths for kids to ride scooters and bikes. A supermarket right next door. Lots of new trees have been planted and when they are fully grown it will be even shadier and better again.

It is a very nice park that is suitable for many ages. There are bathrooms nearby and also a water fountain. It's an opened layout allowing plenty of space for the kids to run around. The equipment is relatively well maintained, a very small amount of vandalism, unfortunately. Highly recommend if you need a place to burn off some steam for the kids.

Really amazing park with a huge variety of options for all ages, as well as toilets, lots of green space, a skate park, supermarket, and much more!
Duncan M — Google review
Can’t believe they removed the car park, less parking so not worth going to it now. The council were supposed to upgrade the tennis courts but they let them go to ruin. There’s only skating for teenagers yet other sports like basketball & netball courts could be erected with all the space going to waste. As there’s no free basketball courts anywhere in town (even half court) and netball courts are shut to the public too. Appalling spending money on what?
T J — Google review
No off street parking anymore . You have to unload children on a busy street IF you can find a park anywhere near it . Park was completely empty compared to what it use to be. Also badly needed mowing.

An excellent caravan park. Sites were easily accessed. Ensuite was very clean. The location is within an easy walk to shops and the waterfront. Lots of facilities for those with kids.
John B — Google review
This park is hard to beat on location, walk across to the beach and the park itself has great features the kids loved. The let down for us though was the cabin cleanliness, and I'm not talking just the 'older feel' but outright dirty. Turn the shower on and watch the dirt was across the floor, have to clean down actual dirt off the kids mattresses before making the beds, physical dust layers across the skirtings and light switches, mould on the back of the bathroom door and the floor literally gritty underfoot. Retrain the cleaners and this is a cracking park. And to finish on a positive, the staff were great but the fact the after hours bloke saw us drive in and took the time to introduce himself and let us he's around etc. That shows me they do care about their guests. Hopefully we just copped a poor clean during a busy schedule.
Brendon J — Google review
Lovely park. So well organized, even sending a plan of where your caravan should be situated on site. Permanents separated from holiday makers. Such a great location, close to beach, river shops and walks. Great swimming pool and playground for kids . Very clean amenities. I would recommend .
Debra J — Google review
Rented a campsite for our campervan during a road trip. The grounds were nice and well maintained. The bathrooms and showers were clean. The pool was great - especially for kids. What was very disappointing (and is preventing me from giving a 5 star review) is that the website says that they are able to accommodate requests for site choice. When booking, we specifically asked for a grassy site with shade and trees (we have a small camper and specified the dimensions). They completely disregarded that and assigned us a site with no shade in sight, surrounded by giant campers. I would understand if that were fully booked… but at the end of the day they had plenty of nice spots in the shade, exactly what we asked for, that remained unoccupied. It’s like they read our request and went out of their way to give us the exact opposite!!

We stayed in a cabin for a night on our way to Queensland and had a very relaxing and comfortable night. The staff were welcoming and very helpful and our cabin was very clean and had everything that we needed. The park is well maintained and very quiet for a great nights sleep. While we didn't get to use the other park facilities, there is an onsite cafe, great pool, and family-friendly activities for all. We have stayed before and will again in the future.
Stephen E — Google review
Great location!! Amazing park. The pool was so good the kids loved it and being so close to the beach was so easy. Really lovely activity staff for the kids. The disappointment was the amenities. Always dirty!!!!! No matter what time we went, they were always gross. Filthy floors, showers and toilets. Especially at the pool!! My little one had an accident because of how dirty the pool toilet was, there was something (….) smeared all on the seat, then when we tried walking to the toilet blocks she couldn’t hold it any longer. Poor thing was really embarrassed. I understand someone could mess it up even after the cleaners have just left but every time we needed a toilet we’d have to try find a better one. Really disappointing and just unsanitary. Oh and the pool area had a decking section with lounge chairs. It ALWAYS smelt like urine. Everytime we walked past I gagged. People are on holidays and something like this just ruins an experience completely. Also the cafe was good however multiple days their never had coffee or chai… really disappointing and just odd to run out of that.
Tanya S — Google review
Park was nice enough with plenty of facilities and things for the kids to do but 1 big let down was the toilets and showers. All of them had a weird smell and weird layout. Not very clean at the best of times. Also not much lighting over the far side past the playground towards the toilet blocks. Have to use a torch of a night time to get to the toilets as not enough lighting only near the toilets.

Fantastic epicurean dinner experience. I wish I had someone with me to share the tasting menu … since I was dining solo, I decided to try several of their starters instead. Every dish I chose was excellent! A definite win, win dinner choice!

Food it always great at Lattitude, we make a point to go there when we go to Coffs. Desserts are worth saving room for. Atmosphere was rated a little lower as this time we were sat at the end of the corridor, closer to the marina, it's close to the bar area and is quite echoey, so bar noise you'd expect from a busy working bar was just amplified. However we have sat at multiple other tables and it's not nearly as noticeable. Wait staff attentive knowledgeable and personable. We know know prices are on the special occasions side, but it's not overpriced for the quality of meals and service, the location makes it an experience.
Jo H — Google review
We had a lovely lunch at Latitude 30. The food is superb and the service was attentive without being intrusive. We decided to have multiple small share plates which was a good decision as the variety and freshness of the seafood was excellent. Desserts although pricey are amazing so glad we treated ourselves. The only issue is there is currently (Sept 2025) scaffolding surrounding the restaurant while roof repairs occur so it semi-blocks the amazing view but this is only temporary and the food and service more than make up for it. Was able to get a last minute Father’s Day booking for dinner. Shared 6 small plates with my fiance, absolutely delicious! Seafood was so fresh, all the flavours complimented each plate and serving sizes were perfect. Very appealing to the eye too the way they served the plates up. Staff were very friendly and accomodating with our 8 month old too which was lovely. Great view of the marina too. We visited when there was construction works however this did not affect our experience at all. Would highly recommend anyone who loves seafood and doesn’t mind spending a little more on their meal to enjoy a lunch or dinner here! Only negative to mention would be the lift going up to the restaurant was a little scary.

Wow, we came here and had a great lunch last week. We shared the pork entree, the sirloin main, and the crème brûlée. Absolutely amazing. We had to come back before we moved off from the area. This time we repeated the pork belly entree, still absolutely amazing, but then had the yellow curry barramundi- so sweet and delicious, and the lamb shoulder - so amazing. Amazing service and good so great. So sad we were too full to have another dessert! Can’t recommend enough, absolutely amazing!

The Howy Moey does not disappoint. The service was great. The food was sensational and so delicious. The staff were outstanding in their service and friendliness. My group visited on the middle of the week amd the place was packed with families and local patrons It was amazing to see and the atmosphere was rocking. Definitely if you're in Coffs Harbour looking for some delicious food and a great place to hang out try Hoey Moey.

We visited this place based on a recommendation from a local. The venue is beautiful and has good vibes. The bar staff were friendly and welcoming. However, the kitchen team came across as quite rude and seemed unhappy to be there—particularly the lady at the counter. The food was average at best. Overall, it’s a nice spot for a drink, but not somewhere I’d recommend for the food.

First time at the Hoey Smokehouse but won’t be the last. I was there on a Sunday night and had the pleasure of eating the giant Yorkshire pudding Sunday roast (brisket). Absolutely delicious! Wish I’d had room for dessert. I also had a couple of martini’s - also delicious. Recommended 😄

I was pleasantly surprised as I walked into the establishment on a Monday evening to see how busy it was. As the sign stated outside on the reception door, please see the bar staff for assistance and I did. They kindly told me to go back out to the reception and someone will meet me there. I was greeted by Robin who happens to be the bistro manager, and she took care of me wonderfully. Robin went to the room to make sure the room was clean, Organized and orderly. Then Robin informed me that I could park right in front of the room. She also gave me a voucher/Coupon that I could Used to purchase a large pizza for $15. I had their signature Hoey Moey pizza, which is a pleasant treat. The Pulled pork was Delicious, Tender and succulent. I could only eat half of the pizza 🍕 as it was very filling. I’m having the other half for breakfast in the Morning. Again, what a lively establishment

Clean and comfortable. I would have given 5 stars but we thought the bathroom was a 'tight sqeeze'. The pub is lovely and the food was delicious. There was great music. The pub has everything a good pub has. Big dining area with the bar areas very roomy. A few steps to a quiet beach. Nice quiet rooms couldn't hear the music, great customer service everywhere. Would definitely go to the pub again.

I was working up in Coffs Harbour and staying at a nearby hotel and they recommended going here for dinner on a Tuesday night. It’s a large pub right next to Park beach and it has a motel as part of the complex There’s plenty of parking on the premises It’s a huge pub and no doubt it’s really busy at the weekend but on Tuesday night it was quite quiet. It had an extensive venue made up like they had lots of smoked meat options which were however quite expensive. Had a mushroom and halloumi begging which was nice and smoky, the chips were fantastic although the portion was really small The prices were reasonable. Actually wish afterwards that I had the pizza which looked really nice and the portion size was ideal for one person

Came for dinner. The salt and pepper squid was a ok had a lot better els where. The barramundi was amazing. Loved every bit of it. Crunchy skin with moist center. My friend ordered the steak medium rare it was pretty rare in the middle.

Live music was great. Meals were served very quickly. We had the Moey Hoey pizza, it was well worth it and reasonably priced. Atmosphere was good, the live music added to it. It was over powering, just made for a great atmosphere. I highly recommend a beer and a feed here.

If you're on the hunt for a delightful burger experience in Coffs Harbour, look no further than Attitude Burgers. This vibrant eatery is renowned for its mouthwatering gluten-free options that cater to various dietary needs without compromising on flavor. Guests rave about the generous portions and creative menu items, including enticing Mexican-style burgers and tacos that add a unique twist to traditional fare.
Absolutely delicious, the perfect little burger joint. Great quality food, fantastic customer service, and the perfect atmosphere for lunch with friends 🥰 Delicious fresh ingredients on my burger, even though it was a touch pricey, I'd pay it again given the relaxing environment and wonderful location. Nice uncluttered open peaceful feeling in the restaurant and outside. And there's an ice cream shop next door 🤩 This is one of those places where by the time you finish lunch, you'll have convinced yourself to move here ❤️❤️❤️ Loved it. Hope to come back again

Well Attitude Burgers is the best feed we had whilst in town. True, it was our only meal. But it was also the best burger I have had in the last 10ths easy ..And there has certainly been a fair number of those. Great chips, top service and friendly as well. The dining room was fine, but my top tip for this place is to take up the takeaway option and go and sit and look at the view of the beach in my photos which is 3-4 min walk away. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. 🍔 I had the true blue which is in my pics, and it was excellent.
Jason B — Google review
I want to add my honest review. The burgers were just terrible. The meat was extremely tough—poorly ground, with noticeable fibers—and completely dried out. Thankfully, the bacon jam added some juiciness, but even so, my jaw got tired from all the chewing. The fries were nicely fried, but way too salty. One question: where are all these glowing reviews coming from? This is my first and last visit—maybe others just got lucky. I’m giving one extra star because the place was clean, tidy, and had a nice atmosphere.
Aleksandr S — Google review
Rule of thumb is never eat at a restaurant in a prime tourist spot and Attitude Burger certainly helps you understand why. Charmless and favouring operations over guest experience the decor is bland. But it is the food that lets them down. The Kanye Nest burger lives up to its namesake’s reputation and is oily and gross. My wife called it rancid. I don’t often ask for refunds but this burger was inedible. The Attitude comes at a price and a long weekend 15% levy. A beer, a soda, a glass of wine 2x hit dogs and the aforementioned chicken burger cost $120z They score a star for the no-quibble refund of the burger.
Jacques B — Google review
September 12, 2025 back again and still great burgers. Giving them 5 stars today. Great range of burgers. Had the Attitude with the addition of egg. Tasty and filling. Undercover seating available. You can order via a QR code at the table and they text you when it's ready. Pretty easy.
Helen H — Google review
Great burgers. My wife had a hamburger, mine was a chicken burger. Cooked perfectly. Very tasty. Chips were great. Service was kind, patient, and helpful. Very good place to get burgers.
Brian B — Google review
Ordered chips at 2.59pm today. That's all we ordered, a family bucket of chips. 3.17pm rolls round and still no chips. And we were the only ones there that had ordered. I asked the waitress what happened we have waited 20 mins and still no chips and she's like oh sorry I didnt realise and went to the kitchen and they were talking for a while then finally he put the chips in. I thinks its ridiculous, who makes someone wait 20 mins when its not even busy. Even the waitress should be more considerate of customers and she could see that we and the kids are just waiting for no reason. If it was busy I could understand. We didnt even had a burger, literally chips. If I had not said anything we would still be waiting.
COFFEE_ L — Google review
Fabulous burgers! Great service from the lovely Rory, who was so professional and helpful. The kids meals were a great size and they catered to gluten free and dairy free with no hassles at all, which made for a great meal for our family. Would be great if there was a side of chips with the main burgers for the price. Will be coming back for sure!

Coffs Harbour beach is just lovely, located between muttonbird and little muttonbird island, soft sand and proper waves, so grab your surfboard or your swimmers and jump in or do some sun baking ( slip, slop also of course) or the total opposite and take a relaxing stroll along the beach. This beach is a dog walking beach so if you really don't like dogs running up the beach just cross the little road/ park and use the beach under/ next to the jetty as it's a "no dogs allowed beach". Nestled by the water, this charming café offers a cozy atmosphere perfect for sipping on their Full Spectrum coffee. Not only do they serve exceptional brews, but their brunch menu is equally enticing with fresh options like soba noodle salad, zucchini and corn fritters, and crispy fried chicken sandwiches.
What a hidden gem! Firstly, a cafe that offers free sparking water has my heart but also offers filtered water that is cold is hard to find. Their other beverage selection is huge! We opted for ice latte which was delicious and we are a die hard coffee connoisseurs from Melbourne. We have also tried the Bounty Hunter coffee which was to die for. Their pomegranate ice tea was so refreshing on this hot day. Moving onto the food, which was 10/10. Everything we have ordered has hit the spot with both flavour and presentation. We had the corn and zucchini fritters that come with this delicious summery and zesty salad that pairs perfectly with the fritters. We also had the omelette with chorizo which was simple and tasty. Great portion sized and very well priced. Definitely a cafe to try and for us it’s one we will come back to.

Such a cute café! The vibes are lovely, the staff is super sweet, and the food? Delicioso! Everything is fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented. Perfect spot to chill, enjoy a coffee, and have a good time. Buuut... there’s this Sikh guy (the owner, I think?) walking around like a supervisor on a mission, constantly correcting the staff. Kinda kills the relaxed atmosphere sometimes. Like, papi, let them do their thing! Other than that, it’s a great little spot. Would still come back! Best Coffee in Coffs Harbour

Stopped in for lunch with my family. Servers were nice enough. I ordered the curry of the day - only to watch them microwave a Chinese container. I asked the server is the curry fresh - she said it is cooked fresh previously then microwaved….. My son’s cheeseburger was way over cooked. Confusingly my wife’s chips were over cooked yet luke warm at the same time. Pretty horrible experience considering that with drinks it was about 100 bucks! On a positive note the cheesy garlic bread was nice…::

I was staying next door in the ibis and ventured next door into the Coast Hotel from the back entrance. I found my way to the dining room which has a great ambiance and I was greeted with a smile and great service. The meal was served promptly. I had the fish of the day with salad and chips which was delicious. Really enjoyed it. The only recommendation I would have would be to have drink service in the dining room especially for people who are travelling alone. I had the water that was conveniently placed in the room but would have had a drink if the service was available.

I shared a mixed grill for lunch and it was terrible. Overcooked meat and a burnt sausage type of thing that was awful. The piece of chicken on the dish was almost unrecognisable, dry to the point of being desiccated and everything tasted of the same seasoning. I’ve never had chicken or saveloy (which was what the sausage thing resembled) in a mixed grill before. Very overpriced and we couldn’t eat most of it. Im a local and a member so not happy.

Went for dinner on Monday night. Ordered steak medium to well done. Definitely didn’t get what I ordered. The staff were friendly and the beers were cold so overall not a bad experience.

We wanted to look for an affordable quick stopover for a long trip and we got to this place at 9PM. The guy working in the pub will help you with the rooms. We were actually expecting it to be rundown and the shared shower rooms were dirty BUT we were pleasantly surprised that the shared shower rooms were wonderfully kept (they’re not 5star by any means but they’re really good for the price and no molds or nothing to make you feel like your feet shouldn’t touch the tiles IYKYK). There was also a washer and a dryer which several guests were using when we visited (they’re a bit modern the appliances) and they had soap too. Towels were provided. Our room was a bit big, nothing fancy. Just a queen bed, a sink, a table with condiments, a chair and a fan. It’s really designed to be a room that people sleep in and go the next day. No roaches, no moulds, no weird things growing in between crevices, no mushrooms growing on the corners of the room (I’ve seen a few so I know lols). Was really really surprised and delighted by this. Again, not a place to hang out but definitely would recommend this place for anyone just stopping over
Agnes A — Google review
Dear coffs Team, I wanted to take a moment to share my thoughts regarding my recent stay at your hotel. Firstly, I booked a single bed room for myself, and I truly appreciate the hotel’s convenient location, close to various facilities. However, I faced a few challenges during my stay that I believe could be addressed for an even better guest experience. Unfortunately, the room had a noticeable smell, and the carpet was quite dirty. I also noticed that some items like the extra blanket and socks were left on the table, appearing unkempt. Additionally, while it was mentioned that there would be a fan in the room, I couldn't find one, and the shared bathroom shower was quite slow and took about 10 minutes for hot water to run. On a positive note, I want to mention the friendly staff. The parking near the bottleshop was convenient, and both the bottleshop staff and the chef were very welcoming. Overall, I found all the staff to be nice and accommodating. These are just friendly suggestions, as I believe your hotel is great and can improve further. I am giving a 5-star rating, as I know there’s potential for an even better experience in the future! Thank you for your attention, and I look forward to seeing your improvements on my next visit.

Super generous portions and the pad see ew seafood was nice and moist. The best way to tell if they cook well is if they do calamari well. It was perfectly cooked and moist. Awesome Thai food here!! I especially like the Tom Yum Fried Rice even though it is HOT!! Thai spiciness is on a different level :) But it's so addictive that you can't stop eating it. It is fragrant and freshly cooked with genuine Thai herbs, spices, and sauces. The Pad Thai is another enjoyable favourite while other classic Thai dishes offered here are equally tasty and the portions are generous. It can be hard to pick something to order, really! I always look forward to getting some food here every time I'm in town. The prices are reasonable, and we get warm, friendly service from the lovely ladies on the floor. (Phooto taken of leftovers from my takeaway, so it's not the actual portion size).

I went to the pool with my family earlier today, we have a two and a half year old and a three month old baby. When we had finished swimming, we all waited for about 20 minutes to use the change room (which was fine). Eventually, we all went in to have a rinse and get changed. We were in there for no more than seven minutes, when a member of the staff aggressively knocked on the door and told us we had been in there too long. We are a family of four, with two small children, who had only been in there for a short time after waiting so much longer. I was honestly disgusted. If the staff want to create an environment supportive of families, then they need to be as well. I won't be returning.

The outdoor pool is beautiful, the small gym a hidden gem whith hardly anyone, the shower facilities need to be cleaned more often throughout the day though.

I've enjoyed a few visits here since arriving in Coffs. I appreciate the indoor heated pool and the clearly signed lane distribution. Staff have always been friendly and the facility has always been clean and well presented. Particularly enjoyed the aquafit class last week.

Clean facilities, friendly helpful staff. 2 pools to choose from. Kids water park area. Full disabled access and a disabled bathroom with heating and built-in lift bed, shower bench, and movable shower head that can be hand held.

We love our local indoor outdoor swim centre, with an easy access ramp.

It was my 18 months old boy's first swimming lesson since they shut down in March. We are both happy they are opened and lessons have started again. The swim teachers are fabulous, very welcoming and understanding that each child is different, water in the heated pool felt a bit cooler but showers in pool area beautiful and hot
Kylie B — Google review
Very well kept pool and nicely run. Staff seem to be very viligilant around kids safety. Always someone watching which is good! Better than most public pools. Management just need to keep tabs on chlorine levels in winter in the heated pool. The outside pool seems to be spot on!

Reflections Coffs Harbour - Holiday Park is a pet-friendly getaway nestled in the heart of Coffs Harbour, offering both powered and unpowered sites as well as cabins that can accommodate up to four guests. Situated alongside the scenic Coffs Creek, this park provides a tranquil escape with abundant wildlife and lush greenery. The coastal city of Coffs Harbour offers uncrowded beaches and an array of activities for visitors.
Nice spot to camp for the night. The unpowered sites out the back are away from the road and reasonably quiet. Easy walk to shops and the club

Pet friendly cabin. It was clean and didn't smell of 'wet dog'. No dog hair on blankets. Could do with some small maintenance, small sag in bathroom floor and odour of sewerage. Blind in bedroom around wrong way and can see outside. Easy to take off old bracket and turn blind around. Piece wood panel of head of bed and a lick of paint on areas would improve the place. Yes it is noisy from highway traffic, would not suggest for light sleepers, but we were ok with it. Walking distance to some excellent eating places. Staff very friendly and good amenities at the park.
Lynne C — Google review
Extremely disappointed with the state of our cabin. We booked a short stay for a sporting tournament expecting clean, comfortable accommodation, but on arrival we found mould embedded in the blinds, mould in the shower, and the bunk area covered in dust and someones false eyelashes. The linen had dog hair all over it, which was very unhygienic and clearly not properly cleaned between guests. I tried to address these issues by email email, but received a satisfactory response. For the price we paid, this was well below standard and a real health concern especially with the mould.
Amanda — Google review
Cabins are right beside an extremely noisy road so we couldn’t sleep with truck exhaust brakes being used all night. We left early in the AM with a sick child to take her home to get some sleep. Still had 2 nights remaining and paid in full. We had friends staying in the same park so left our key for them to use our cabin as they needed an extra car space. Was told by a very rude manager over the phone when I called to question why our friends couldn’t use it “bad luck you’ve lost your money and you’ve lost your cabin”.and hung up the phone on me. Wouldn’t recommend staying at this park.
Mel A — Google review
When I booked this overnight stay the photos looked beautiful and I put down I had a dog but when I arrived they asked if I had a dog I said yes so then they said we will have to move you to another cabin when I got there there was someone already in it then they got moved!! The cabin was so outdated inside the kitchen cupboard the shelving was all chipped it looked dirty the dishes weren’t clean the door was hard to lock seriously disappointed in the overall cabin. I got the impression from reception they didn’t really have the get up and go attitude so I would not stay there again. The cabin was a donga just terrible the step coming out of it is dangerous and I couldn’t park my car in the carport it was too small. Don’t book this place let them update the cabins
Karen B — Google review
Great little park. But very very noisy Non-stop truck's all day and all night Right on the pacific high way. At night it's lit up like daylight. Amenities block are clean. At $55.00 a night it was too expensive it should be more like $25.00.
Malcolm B — Google review
I rarely write reviews, but it would be a disservice to future guests to not share my experience (I wish I’d read the reviews before booking here as the same issues have been raised and clearly not addressed). We stayed in a pet friendly Standard Cabin and it was dirty, uncomfortable and poorly maintained. There was visible dirt and hair on surfaces and floors, the dishes were disgusting and there was visible mould on the fly screens. The bed was deeply indented and uncomfortable - there was no way two people could comfortably sleep on it. The shower and tap barely got hot water. The cabin in general was poorly maintained, with broken fly screens and fixtures. 3 stars for location purely because of proximity to the Pacific Highway, however ear plugs are needed to drown out the traffic noise which was loud all night. The only upside was the friendly check in process with reception and bonus treat for my dog. As a frequent guest at other Reflections Holiday Parks, this was extremely disappointing and unsatisfactory.
Erin D — Google review
Room was small and noisy. This is more of a stop over than a destination park. Amenities where clean and staff where frienly and helpful. Rooms where old but refurbishment was being completed to the cabin beside us.

Park Beach Reserve A beautiful location featuring open, well-maintained grassy areas and tall, shady trees. There’s a great playground for kids and easy access to very shallow, protected waters with clean sand — perfect for little ones to play safely while parents can relax and keep a close eye on them.

We went there for the food markets this Friday afternoon and it was a great find. Parking did get a bit tricky for some but we got there early. Plenty of food trucks, with different options. Birds sang from the trees while puppies and doggos hung out with their friends. The place was an eclectic mix of families, couples older folk enjoying wines and people having an afternoon swim. Such a great spot. Sunny with plenty of trees for shade. The perfect spot for a week chill

A fantastic place to have a family day out. Safe for children at low and high tide. Though they still need supervision. Everything about this place is fantastic. We love visiting this place. I have lost count of how many times we have With our kayak, portable BBQ and even food from local restaurants make our visit much more enjoyable. Never short of fun or sustenance. Highly recommended 👌🏼

We Stayed at the Coastal Bay Motel 9 days ago. The owners are so wonderful, they went above and beyond. Our Room was lovely, The Bed was so comfy, the towels were so soft. The owners shared several great places to eat. Overall this was the best stay I have experienced in ages. Thanks so much

I don’t have enough words to describe how beautiful and peaceful that place. I stayed there for three nights and it was amazing. The service was perfect. Rooms were so clean the managers over there so friendly so nice and couldn’t find any single complain about this place. It is in a really good place so close to shops that we could walk even there and the surrounding was good. This was my first time pick up so and I could drive anywhere from it with no time they have enough parking for the cars on premises and I will do it again and again every time I go to Kass Harbour that’s my place to go and I really really recommend it to everyone who wants to find a very clean nice and very welcome place . Room prices is also very fair for what u get . Again I will never hesitate to go there again and again thank you Crystal Bay team and hope to see you again.

Honestly, Margaret and Heath could not have been better operators. So genuine and willing to go above and beyond. They were run off their feet pretty much as there was a huge tournament in town, but nothing was ever a problem. The rooms were pristinely clean, beds were super comfy. This is now my go to for Coff’s Harbour 🫶

Great value and comfortable hotel near the beach in Coffs Harbour. I booked through the hotel website and got a great rate. Heath, the manager, was very quick to help when I needed to make a last minute change to my booking. The room was very clean and had a recently renovated bathroom. A nice touch for the middle of winter was the heater had been turned on in my room before I arrived. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Coffs
James C — Google review
Husband and I Stayed 4 nights . Staff very welcoming and accomidating. The room we had was small but enough for mostly sleeping or watching tv. Need an extra towel in the shower as tiles there are very slippery. Also would be better if parking was allocated to the room you are staying in as at times we would leave , come back and find parking further away from our room and as we have struggles with disabilities it made it hard to unpack or walk to our room. However when I spoke to staff they allowed us to put a garbage bin in the spot near our room. We did have a guest one remove the bin and take our spot. Perhaps a sign saying reserved would help under these circumstances. Loved the pool only had the chance to go in once but very refreshing And as we arrived mid week I was the only one in it.
Ronda M — Google review
The staff at the desk are as genuine and as lovely as you could hope for. They went out of their way to help us. It’s that kind of care and generosity that makes you want to come back to the same place next time you head towards coffs. Love your work, folks.
I M — Google review
I stayed earlier this week after reading recent reviews. Unfortunately my experience was not as good as others. The first thing I saw was long hair on the bathroom floor, a dead flower on the bench in room so obviously had not been cleaned well. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have slept in for years. The spring could be felt. I informed staff on leaving and they said they would speak to the new staff. It did not meet my cleanliness standards and would not recommend.

Was here today for a workshop. Life's too short for instant coffee so decided to roll the dice at the Lakes Cafe inside at smoko. So glad I did. The lady behind the counter did a fantastic job, taking the order, and my money, then pouring a brilliant coffee. Much kudos. And again at lunch! Not a fluke. I'd come here for a double shot latte anytime. The samos and rolls we had for lunch were also very delicious.

I recently attended the golf club in Coffs Harbour, I was treated so incredibly poorly by an individual I’m not sure what his name was but he was the manager at the time and he had orange/red hair . He made us pay for our drinks after being incredulously rude the entire time, I then said to my partner “the ranga guy is just taking a while it’s fine, be patient”. He then refused to serve us after my innocent comment to my boyfriend, never meant to offend anyone I’m truly sorry for my use of words. We had paid, and he then refused to serve us and kicked us out after stealing our money.

Easily the best club in Coffs Harbour. If you want golf, this is by far the best course between Sydney and Brisbane (maybe even beyond) with 27 amazing holes on a course in fantastic condition. This is a very nice area for a full day with picnic, kayaking, paddle boarding and a safe swim for kids. Dogs allowed on leash, but if you cross over the bridge you can leave them off leash and in the water. There is a kiosk open until 4pm, for your basics. There is also a table tennis set and a playground, BBQ, showers and very clean toilets. From there you can take the coastal walk for very gorgeous views. We visited on a partly cloudy day and it wasn’t crowded at all. I guess it could get much busier in warmer weather.

Easy creek access, toilet, and BBQ's with shower when washing off after your sea swim. Entry fee of $8 per vehicle for us was worth it, plenty of seating to eat our packed lunch. Boambee Creek is just perfect, we used our SUP too and dog friendly.
Clarinda F — Google review
Such a cool spot. Much less windy then the main beaches, great with kids who can paddle in shallow water and even allows dogs to best spot for families on Coffs coast
Alex A — Google review
Nice slow stream shallow river. Gentle paddle upstream and then let the stream float you back down. Saw one stingray in the water. A couple of billabongs. You might need to drag the kayak a bit where water is too shallow. Just let the water float and take your wherever, rather than paddle yourself into somewhere too shallow. If you like fishing there are a couple of small side platforms for fishing. Toilet is on site. $5 entry fee into the park. Paid at gate using credit card. Or you can just park outside on the street and walk in free about a 100m walk.

A place perfect for a full day of family fun. The reserve has something for everyone - adults, kids and teens. Stayed here on the Saturday during the Coffs Coast Rally event. Room was neat and tidy exactly what I was looking for. It had a competitive price which I was surprised about as most of the motels were booked out in the Coffs Harbour region due to the event being on. Things to note include: -Late night check in procedure with a lock box / text code is available. -You will hear the road noise due to the motel being located next to the highway. -Unrestricted parking height and also have plenty of room for trailers. -Helpful staff they answered all my questions via text / email. Also photos attached with this review show the room which I had for the night. Would recommend if you are looking for a quick one night stop.

Coffs Harbour Airport, located in New South Wales on the eastern coast of Australia, is a small and well-managed airport with connections to other domestic cities. Travelers can easily access the downtown area from the airport, and for those seeking a scenic journey, train services are available from cities like Sydney and Newcastle. The airport prides itself on its efficient operations with minimal queues and friendly staff.
Pretty small and functional airport but clean, tidy and restful. Light refreshments either side of security. Being able to check bags right through to London was nice. Polite, helpful and super-considerate security staff are worth a mention, given that we all know airport security is a game of charades, and they bring this up to five stars.
Doris J — Google review
Not that this is the Airports fault, but it’s too expensive to fly to most places from here. Bonza was supposed to be our saving grace, which only lasted a few weeks before not flying out, to bankrupt. I am annoyed with being within walking distance, but having to fly out of Goldie due to an extra 2-300 dollars more it costs generally if wanting to start/ finish here. Airport itself is good, tidy and never any extended wait times.
Steve ( — Google review

Reasonable regional airport for its size. Spacious, however looking a bit dated but the flow of passengers seems unaffected. Tortuous driveway entrance.
Martin W — Google review
Coffs Harbour Airport disappoints on every visit. The place needs maintenance and parts are rusting away, on full view to arriving and departing passengers. The airport security folks are the worst in Australia. They slow things down needlessly, have no idea about customer service and insist on things that no other airport in Australia does. The only positives about the airport are the carpark and its proximity to arrival and departure and the mini Qantas lounge. The QF staff are great - well trained and friendly.

My back packed a sad again just recently. I could barely walk. Visiting Coffs Harbour area for one week, I was a little concerned about finding a descent chiropractor. In the last 35+ years, one or two visits to a good chiropractor and I'd be off and racing again. I discovered Steve by chance (google reviews and a phone call) and I could not be happier. I walked in hunched over and miserable. Walked out straight and happy. I managed one more visit before having to leave Coffs and I hadn't felt better in ages. Thank you so much Steve as I was a little concerned as I had not had an issue like this in about 10 years. You sorted me out. I would highly recommend coming here.

Plus, the flexibility to book last-minute appointments is a lifesaver when I need a quick adjustment. Steve provides personalised treatment that goes above and beyond. He not only remembers my specific needs and concerns but also takes the time to ask how I'm doing, even if it's been months between visits. His attention to detail and genuine care make each appointment feel like catching up with an old friend who happens to be an excellent chiropractor. The Whale Watch Experience is a great way to spot the annual whale migration with 360-degree views from the spacious deck. The couple that hosts it is very nice and friendly, so you're guaranteed a great experience. Highly recommended!
We had the opportunity to go twice with the catamaran. Unfortunately, we could not see whales on the first day. But that's just nature. On the second day we could see several humpbacks and spent a long time with them. A great experience with a very pleasant atmosphere. Thank you very much.

An Unforgettable Whale Watching Experience – Highly Recommend! We shopped around quite a bit before booking our whale watching trip, and we’re so glad we chose this one – it was excellent value for money compared to others offering similar deals. From the start, everything was incredibly well-organized. We received clear and helpful information in advance about where to go, where to park, and where to meet, which made the whole experience stress-free. One of the standout aspects was that the boat wasn’t overcrowded, which made the trip feel far more personal and relaxed. There was plenty of space to move around and take in the stunning 360-degree views – perfect for spotting wildlife from all angles. Lee and Greg were brilliant hosts. Friendly, informative, and approachable, they also had a great sense of humour that made the commentary both engaging and fun. And of course, we can’t forget Mac the dog – an absolute delight and such a charming addition to the crew! Although I was a little worried about sea sickness beforehand, I didn’t have any issues at all during the two-hour trip – a pleasant surprise! We were also offered hot and cold drinks along with a choice of biscuits as we headed back to shore – a lovely and thoughtful touch that made the experience feel even more welcoming. The real highlight was witnessing not one, but two whales breaching right in front of the boat. We know that’s not guaranteed on every trip, so we feel incredibly lucky to have experienced such a breathtaking sight. All in all, it was a memorable and joyful outing that exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended to anyone considering a whale watching adventure!

We had a fabulous time and saw a number of whales up reasonably close. The skipper was very good and kept up with the whales but not too close to disturb them. Lots of room to move around on the boat and get a great view of the Whales. Scruffy the dog is a whale spotter as well. A very comfortable and great experience - thank you

Dear Lee, Greg the Captain and Mac the dog who was our whale spotter, My 6 girlfriends and I had the most informative, relaxed, enjoyable whale watching experience on Sunday 27th July 2025. We all had such a wonderful trip out with other lovely passengers but we were not crowded either. We were very fortunate to see some whales and also hear the whales with Lee helping to educate us all on what the noise they were making was for. I'm not going to spoil it for others by telling what the noise meant, I shall leave that to Lee. Thankyou Lee from the bottom of our hearts for giving us all a wonderful experience that we talked about for a long time after. Thankyou to Greg for a wonderful cruise with awesome music. Last but not least thankyou Mac for telling us where the whales were we fell in love with you Mac. Oh Lee the coffee and tea topped off a great afternoon. See you next season. Heather G, Coffs Harbour.

Two full hours of floating on the ocean surrounded by these magnificent mammals of the ocean, you couldn't ask for better. Lee is a wonderful host that is full of knowledge and Mack the dog has the best Whale radar. Yes, you can get to the action faster on the jet boats but I've found the whales seem to be very curious and want to come up close of their own accord to the quieter slower boat and spend time just swimming alongside us. Highly recommended them

Amazing day out for my son's birthday. Crew where great, spent time chatting with everyone on board and playing with my children. So lucky to see so many whales but even if there weren't any it was such a relaxing day out on the water. Highly recommend this business. Will definitely be using them again.

Visitors can enjoy the freedom of letting their dogs roam off-leash along the entire beach, from the Bream Hole to Boambee Creek. Families can relax and play on the beach, but it's important for everyone to be mindful and considerate of others sharing the space. The ability to drive along this picturesque beach adds an extra layer of convenience and tranquility, especially for those accustomed to crowded beaches elsewhere.
Such a nice beach and awesome that we can drive along it. Was nice and quiet when I went. Loved it. Where I'm from the beaches are a carpark so this was beautiful.

Harbour Painting Solutions, located in Coffs Harbour, NSW, is a locally owned and operated painting company led by Nathan & Tori. With strong community ties, the team takes pride in delivering exceptional service. Clients appreciate their efficient work, tidy job sites, and respectful treatment of homes. The team's punctuality and attention to detail have left customers delighted with beautifully painted walls and restored timber decks.
I recently had the pleasure of engaging Harbour Painting Solutions for the exterior painting and restoration of my porch, eaves, soffits, and outdoor verandah, and the experience was exceptional. I’d go as far as to say they are the most professional company we’ve worked with during our renovations. Firstly, the communication and organisation was brilliant. Tori was very proactive, which everything go smoothly from start to finish. Nathan spent considerable time with us to understand what we wanted and provided an accurate and fair quote. He was also very approachable when discussing any variations. The professional painters on site demonstrated incredible attention to detail during the prep work. A special shout-out to Dan, who was meticulous in his work and created a finish that exceeded our expectations. We’ve had numerous comments from neighbours and friends on the transformation it had made to our home. I would highly recommend Harbour Painting Solutions for anyone seeking work. Some before/after photos attached.

Our experience with Harbour Painting Solutions was very positive. We have an older house that required a lot of work to strip back the old paint. Nathan's team worked tirelessly and the finish was definitely worth it! The team were pleasent and easy to communicate with. The job was completed on time. We definitely recommend Harbour Painting Solutions.

Something special about Coffs Harbour is the bushland tracing the creek, which will make you feel like you’re in the wilderness just a few steps from the CBD. You can wander or ride through this environment on the 8.6-kilometre Coffs Creek Walk and Cycleway, which loops through the gum trees and palms by the water and has a section along a boardwalk. The track is also a useful way to travel between Coffs Harbour’s attractions, like the Botanic Garden, Park Beach, the Historic Jetty and the Dolphin Marine Conservation Park.

I live with Coffs Creek running behind me it turns into Ferntree Gully, I would love to have a permaculture garden in the council land on the other side of my back fence and teach the community how to sustain their living and health. I wish for the Council to just want to do that. Inspire other Councils to be giving instead of only receiving.

Jetty Beach Park in Coffs Harbour is a charming spot with two adjacent parks catering to different age groups. The playground equipment, while in need of an update, offers a fun experience for kids. Additionally, the park provides numerous public barbecue grills and restrooms, ensuring convenience for visitors. Its proximity to the beach and walking trails makes it an ideal location for outdoor enthusiasts. Moreover, the park's accessibility from off-street parking areas and its connection to shared pathways add to its appeal.
Nice park behind Jetty Beach and off Jordan Esplanade. Driveways from the Esplanade access off-street parking areas connected by shared pathways. Easy access from the beach through the Casuarina foredune protection area. Nice place to stop and enjoy a coffee from the Bean Movin coffee van.

Coffs creek walkway is a scenic, serene walk extending from our gorgeous tidal creek all the way into town. This walk is for most fitness types, dog walking, jogging, bike riding. The walk literally hugs the creek except for a steep hill. You can start at the Promenade if a flat walk is preferred. The views of the creek are sublime, the water of the creek can change to the clearest "crystal blue" on a sunny clear day. Various fishing spots are located along the track. I take as many photographs to capture the changing scenery and colors. Many birds flit between the trees and fish can be spotted in the crystal clear water. This is a pleasant "time out", children enjoy the walk with family and the walk is pram friendly. The track is kept in good condition. Finish your walk at the beautiful Botanical Gardens.

Bongil Bongil National Park is a coastal park with sandy beaches, barbecue facilities, and eucalyptus forest that serves as a habitat for native koalas. The park features beautiful palm trees and a variety of birds to observe along the Palm Crossing Trail. Tuckers Rock Road provides easy access by car to the clean and stunning beach that's perfect for kayaking enthusiasts.
This is such a peaceful, quiet national park with so many walking tracks along the river and nothing but birds singing on the way to entertain you. It was a great place to stop for a casual walk and a picnic lunch afterwards.

Lovely forest. Rather out of the way. Lots and lots of little bush trails leading every which way. Lovely talk trees and the trill of cicadas everywhere. Bring insect repellent coz the bugs attack. But for those tough enough, at the end of the School Trail is a reward of a massive, unspoilt beach....

This 650-acre national park is located in the Na Pali Coast on Kaua'i. The park offers stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, hiking trails, and beaches. There are also dolphins that can be seen during shoreline walks. Ulidarra National Park was established in 1999 and is a popular tourist destination for hikers, kayakers, and surfers.
This another great, clean and well-preserved national park. You can enjoy nature, do some bird-watching and real bush walking. The paths are easy to follow, and there is very decent GPS coverage for mobiles

Ulidarra National Park is a hidden gem! The trails are well-maintained and offer a great mix of challenging hikes and easy walks. The lush greenery and diverse wildlife make it a perfect spot for nature enthusiasts. A bit more signage would be helpful, but overall, a fantastic place to explore and unwind.
Francisco T — Google review
We entered the park from the road heading down from Searly Lookout. We thought we'd go to the 'picnic area' to make a coffee. The track immediately started to climb and was very picturesque however there was no 'view' We came across a y-junction with a locked gate on the lhs. We continued on taking the end track thinking that once we arrived to the picnic area we'd definitely turn around after our coffee and head out. There was no picnic ground. (We were told later that there may have been a picnic table near the road) The track got worse, very gutted, lots of overhangs, and required a skilled 4wd'er to traverse. We are experienced and advise you not to drive this track. It takes you into Cara State Forest and then you have to get out! Only bushwalkers or bikeriders should attempt it unless track work it completed. If it were to get any wetter you'd have even greater problems. After 1.5-2 hours we made our way back to bitumen by using our detailed mapping on our tablet using Explore oz maps.
Angelo P — Google review
Enjoyed my visit here and would definitely go back. I completed the Ulidarra Walking Track after starting on the End Peak Trail. There are some sections that are a bit steep and the trails are quite rough and are not marked at all. There were a lot of large fallen tree trunks that had to be scrambled under. There was no beautiful view from a peak at the end, but overall it was a very tranquil and enjoyable day hike.
Lee W — Google review
I googled top 10 things to do in Coffs Harbour... How this place made it up there is mind blowing!!! An absolute horror experience!! You drive throught this park, all you see is... Not even sure because you concentrate to stay on the road. No where are they telling you that you are throught the Park and going on the road to hell (as one sign correctly identified). More important nobody is telling you that the road ahead (Shelter rd) is ending. We drove for more than an hour on a horrific road just to be forced to turn around because of the road closure... all the way back on the same road to hell... There are countless scratches on my SUV... That all to see nothing. Please put a sign on that says (1) you reached the end of the park. (2) Make a turn around place there and (3) advise the visitors that the road is horrendous and ends... And for making the top 10 things to do... What a joke... Rather do ironing... It will save you 2 hours of buffing out the scratches on your car.

There is a tiny area for little dogs, and there is a huge park with a couple of drains filled with muck and mud for larger dogs, so if your dog loves to get wet and dirty and your on a stop on a road trip like we’re were, then maybe think twice as it will come out filthy.

It is a HUGE park, lots of shade. The only downfall is that we turned up when it was very muddy. Not that the dogs mind it. Can't help mother nature.

This dog park was a pleasure to come across. We were travelling with our two dogs and it was sensational to have a community dog park so close to the highway and of such a large size. The park boasts what feels like 10 acres of fenced grassland with a creek and treed areas. There are taps and seating but it is mostly just open area. Whilst it is basic, it was exactly what our dogs needed. It had enough space that you could have less social-able dogs and just keep to yourself.
