Located in Windsors newish Distillery District is Walkerville Brewery. Real nice spot with lots of seating and friendly staff. Tons of beer types to choose from with a big takeout section. Have a look at the photos and visit them sometime. We liked the vibe and of course the beer! 💚

It was a great experience. The flight or 4 was good, and egg rolls were great. It had a great vibe and even had a local book, craft, and pastry show was going on inside. Some history was on the walls as you walk in. Place seemed clean and employees very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful brewery / pub right in the heart of Olde Walkerville district. Great selection of house brewed beers on tap and cans and growlers available for purchase in the gift shop. The staff is courteous and friendly. Highly recommend for a quick beer or spend the evening. A nice selection of pizza and snacks is also available.

Interesting visit to see the various craft beer , bought a variety pack of craft beer and cider . Lots of collections from the past , and customers seems to enjoy the ambient . I am Sure there are lots of story behind this brewery !

We visited from Detroit because I had seen the Walkerville Night Market on social media. This was actually my second time at the night market but first time getting food/drink at the brewery. The night market was amazing and had a great turn out. Because of that, there was a line to get in, a line for beer, and a line for bathrooms. The brewery itself is huge. They had a good selection of beers and the staff were really friendly. We were really disappointed with the food which is why I knocked one star off. We walked to the “snack bar” and as I was ordering my pizza, I noticed a huge stack of frozen plastic wrapped pizzas behind the counter. It dawned on me that everything they served was frozen, nothing made fresh in house. I feel like this is a huge lost opportunity considering the amount of space they have here. They could make sandwiches, burgers, or even have pop up kitchens from local food vendors….. instead of serving frozen pizza I could have got at the grocery store. We were hungry so we ate it, but in hindsight, I wish we would have purchased food from one of the vendors outside. I probably won’t be buying food here if I come back again. Other than that- super cool brewery with lots of community events and we hope to visit again soon.

Bubis food is absolutely amazing. The staff is super friendly and always on top of things. Prices are more than fair for the amount of food you get. Bubis never disappoints, definitely my favourite restaurant!!

Nice and affordable place to have delicious food and some buzz. Near to university of windsor. For vegetarians they have pretty good burger, pizza sticks with cheese and burritos. Drink options are also nice and strong. Staff is so friendly and even beautiful 😻 Taste : 8/10, Ambience : 10/10, Service : 9/10, Pricing : 9/10 Updating as of Aug 2022: Food quality is not as before and also seating arrangements changed so not that great ambience as before. Changing 5 stars to 2 stars. Hospitality remains the same, they welcome and greet their customers well, great staff.

I haven't been to Bubi's in a few years. In the past couple of weeks have stopped in twice. Both times the food and service was very good. The sandwiches and burgers were awesome. Each time they were served quickly and nice and hot. They have a number of different options and choices for lunch and dinner. They also have great looking desserts, but we were too full to try them..maybe next time. There is plenty of parking in the area. Most of it is metered.

A landmark restaurant in Windsor Bubi's like many other restaurants has undoubtedly had a tough time since covid hit. We arrived around lunch time on a Saturday and were quickly seated. It took quite awhile to get our food but I'm guessing they are short staffed which is an issue plaguing many restaurants and retail businesses so totally understandable. Although it would have been nice if the appetizer came out before the main as opposed to after. Please note they do not have a kids menu. Nor will they serve you a half portion of something. This strikes me as a bit odd. How hard is it to create a few items at a smaller size (like chicken fingers) and call it a kids menu? I ordered the pulled pork sandwich which was really good except please note it is not a sandwich per se but the meat is on top of a piece of bread. The serving size was pretty generous though so really no need for another piece of bread on top of it I suppose . I recommend the pizza crusts and if you do get them make sure to order "Windsor style" which includes shredded pepperoni, mushrooms and cheese. I would recommend Bubi's (just maybe not for young kids ) and feel bad for these owners and workers as I know they must be struggling. One of the reasons we continue to dine out is to help support local business like this.

I have a pretty long history with this place. The food is great and their menu and aura is unique. Their service varies and at times can be rather underwhelming (not anything outrageous but lack of attentiveness).

Amazing! The staff was super friendly from start to finish and went out of their way to interact with the kids in our party. The food was great! Try the parmesan fries! Cute place!

The garlic sauce is amazing same with the chevapi. The waitress provided poor service. took asking 3 times to get a refill, each time a giggle and omg I forgot again. Just grab the drink next time and don't laugh. The food trumps the staff so I'll go back. Who would turn down that burger :)

This is one of my favorite parks in Windsor, the vast green spaces allow for lots of birds and squirrels to live, and the thick trees are relaxing. Although it is surrounded by two main roads, walking through it will not make you feel noisy. During the Christmas season, Jackson Park also spends much budget on creating delightful light displays for the citizens of Windsor. The downside is that parking is always an issue when you go to view the light show each year. Carpool is recommended for multiple people to go together, or look for possibilities in the parking spaces at the school in the back.

Went to go see bright lights Windsor in Jackson park. It is amazing! They did such a good job decorating. The only thing that I would say is a negative a bit of snow on the ground would have made it even better. No fault to Windsor for that lol. Highly recommend going!!

I have always loved going to jackson park since I was a kid and now I get to let my child experience it too. They always have great holiday lights and the mini train is always a kid favourite. Only downside is there isn't enough parking, especially during the lights since they close off the Park parking for vendors so make sure to plan ahead (there's parking across the street - paid parking or at the school beside the park - free) You can also take the windsor city bus to avoid the parking issue.

Bright lights Windsor is a must visit during the Christmas holidays.Thousands of lights and displays.Lot’s of vendors open at Jackson Park on Fridays and Saturday nights from 5:30 to 10pm.Parking available at Kennedy High School.Highly recommended for the whole family.

Jackson Park is located south of Downtown Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Great place to explore esp in the summertime ~ admire the gorgeous blooms and its colours, people can have their picnic, go for a walk, take photos etc. The beauty of Jackson park comes alive in Dec to early Jan when the park are all lit up for the annual Bright Lights Windsor with thousands of lights and dazzling displays. There's also local vendors that sells food. These festivity draws in lots of people to the park over the holidays. Truly an enjoyable place to trek and you should go!

This park is beautiful and highly recommend it. In the summer they have an amazing garden, great for pictures or just walking around. Last time I was there we noticed several families having professional pictures taken. In the winter they put on an amazing light display that you can walk around. It is pretty extensive and I was surprised at how nice it was. I added some photos from my recent trip in the summer

Went there on New Years eve for the light festival they were having. The place was very nicely decorated with lots of lighting. Lots of beautiful attractions to take pictures. Wasn't too busy when we visited. Had bunch of food trucks in the parking space. The washroom was very clean with stocked toiletries. Overall had an amazing time.

Saw a live band here from the balcony. First come first serve basis. Acoustics were ok. That's all on the sound person. Volunteers were so friendly. It is a cool nostalgic venue

Went to the Fringe festival 2018. Was only able to attend one show as I was busy and just found out about it but will definitely be looking forward to next year's performances :) The theatre itself is small but not too small to be very crowded and for sure a Perfect Theatre for anything :)

I've seen many concerts and films here and love it!! Acoustics are fabulous, seats are comfortable with lots of leg room and it's just the right size! Not a bad seat in the house!

Great venue for live music. There is no bad seat to see a band. Staff were pleasant and worked hard to keep the bar line moving. Wife had a white wine and it was more like a shot than a glass of wine.

Fun water park with good variety of attractions. Slides, water coaster, tube slides, lazy river, wave pools, water jungle gym, and little kid area. There's also a surfing simulator, which was broken when we visited. Nice locker room, including family locker room. We entered about 1:30 and it was very busy with lines for most attractions. For example, my kids had to wait for a mat for the coaster, then wait to go on it. The lazy river had only a handful of tubes. We plan to go back and will try to arrive when it opens. Other reviews said the life guards were extra vigilant/aggressive. I didn't see that.

Great time for the kids. Their highlight is always the water slides/tubes .. I hang out in the lazy river and watch them. They only had 4 floating rings in the lazy river; its too bad as I patiently waited 2.25 hrs to enjoy one. Concession stand prices are reasonably priced. Windsor residents get a discount on entrance fee. The parking is horrible, go early to find a spot

It's small in size waterpark. It's a good place for kids to play. There's not enough parking space. The smell of disinfectant is very strong also, it stings my eyes.

What better way to celebrate 🎉🍾🎊 than with family fun at Adventure Bay Family Water Park in Windsor, Ontario 🇨🇦 during our staycation! This was my first time ever visiting and let me tell you — I truly enjoyed every moment! The Drifting River had me feeling so relaxed 😌 — it was just what my soul needed. 🙌 Since it’s indoors, I didn’t have to worry about getting sunburned on my already peeling skin 💦🔥. We took on the Python Slide, and the whole time I felt like I was in the belly of the whale 🐋 screaming out for JESUS — LOL 😝! Thank God I rode on an empty stomach or you might’ve seen a peanut butter & jelly sandwich floating around the pool! 🥪😂🏊‍♀️ The Wave Pool was definitely my favorite. It was shallow all around, perfect for someone like me who’s 5’1” — and safe for kids too! Being tossed gently in those waves reminded me of the verse: “A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” – James 1:8 Just like those waves, unstable and tossed to and fro 🌊, but God gives us peace and balance when our mind is stayed on Him! 🙏 ⬆️⬆️⬆️ All in all, an unforgettable experience with cousins and Christ in the mix. I HIGHLY recommend it for families and anyone needing a splash of joy!

So much fun & reasonably priced! We had friends come from out of town with their 3.5 year old who had a blast. We have a 8.5 month old & there was tons for her to do as well. My husband and I also enjoyed the big kid slides (more than once)! Such a fun family place - will definitely be back.

Visited during their Xmas celebrations. Every room was uniquely decorated for the holidays. Staff in attendance and very knowledgable about the history of the house. The Windsor Community Choir put on a show throughout the afternoon. Lots of people visiting, however, the groups began to thin out after an hour or so. Very enjoyable couple of hours.

Our visit to Wilstead Manor in June 2024 was an enchanting experience, even though we couldn’t go inside. Nestled in the stunning Canadian countryside, this historic manor is surrounded by breathtaking landscapes that are perfect for a relaxing day out. Beautiful place. Paved accessible trails. Visited once in the summer and again during the late fall, Beautiful well kept gardens. Also a new playground to entertain families. There's an entrance with beautiful gates on every side. Lots of parking. Booked a tour and can't wait to learn about the history!

What a Beauty! This elegant Manor is captivating to say the least. Was able to admire while at Art In The Park Windsor 2022. There is a quiet vibe, with regal presence. Look forward to coming again and taking a walkabout inside!

We found Frenchy's by accident. We tried the Smashburger, Sliders and Onion rings. Everything was delicious! The place is cool. Menu had sooo many choices. Staff was great. We will definitely be back! Highly recommended 👌

When you walk in there is a little bar right next to the door. It was interesting for me to see that tbh. The whole place was easy to navigate and there were many empty tables. Service was lightning fast. I got their classic and I was told it was medium size. However it was a lot and I couldn’t finish it. I only got Poutine and it was absolutely delicious.

Prices were great, Staff was great, and the menu have a nice selection. Very quick service and large portions. My kids and I are vegetarian and the veggie gravy on the poutine was very tasty. We will definitely be back.

I had the Pulled Pork Poutine, such a tasty meal!! Cheese curds were just as they should be and pork was well seasoned and sauced! The cook even came over and brought extra gravy just in case it was dry. Great food,

Tried them for the first time tonight and holy moly! The portions are generous, the gravy and fires are not salty at all, the cheese is real! Not to mention the friendly atmosphere and great staff. Glad to have them here!

If you haven't been to Frenchys and tried their smash burgers and famous poutines... I dont know what youre doing with your life. Hands down the best smash burgers and poutines in town.

Was looking for the market not realizing it closed and found this establishment instead. Went in for a beverage and some fries and was pleasantly surprised. Staff was very friendly. Gave us an overabundance of fries and a nice paper bag and even put in the two drinks as part of the price or for free. If one wants to look at it that way would recommend this to anyone. It's in a great location as well with lots of parking.

connecting trials are good. Relaxing place in summer for kids & family Picnic . No food available near by, but there is a spot to get ice cream from stop 26 Ice cream & more.

We spent an afternoon enjoying the weather, the lake so called the beach and the food and beverages. Really a great place to sit back and just relax. A good spot for taking amazing photos. Whenever you visit please carry water and food as there are no stores and restaurants nearby. Must visit during summer times and after snowfall as the lake freezes.

Awesome beach in the town, I was their with my Friends and we had a lot of fun. Check the weather and have a sun bath with nice cold water... The park is great for Children to play near to sand point beach. I will definitely recommend this to every person visiting windsor, Ontario.

The location is notably serene and ideal for a family outing, particularly during the summer months. Water quality wasn’t that good.

Kids had fun in the sun, playing on the beach, and play area. Water was really choppy, lots of seaweed, and probably not the cleanest on the day we went. Lifeguard was on duty, but flag was yellow. Not too busy. Still had a great time with the kids.

I had an amazing time at the Alumni Movie Night from St. Clair College at the Chrysler Theatre in Windsor! The venue was beautiful and welcoming, with a great atmosphere that made the evening feel both nostalgic and special. Everything was well organized—from the friendly staff to the smooth entry and seating. The movie screening itself was excellent, with crystal-clear visuals and great sound. It was also a wonderful chance to reconnect with fellow alumni in such a memorable setting. Kudos to the organizers for putting together such a well-executed and enjoyable event. Can’t wait for the next one!

One of the best I have been to. The seats were comfortable and had a lot of space. The sounds was great. The box office staff was also really kind and helpful. Looking forward to my next visit.

DO NOT PAY EXTRA and take the box seat unless you come an hour early and hog the rail! Shoved 6 people…family of 4 takes the whole front and you cant see anything!!! Every other seat in the place is better then this garbage!!! Never again! Save your money. So disappointed !!! If your charging more for these prime seats you should guarantee that we can actually see the show!

It is the crown of Windsor. Beautiful skyline, extraordinary sunsets. The whole riverside walk is well maintained with several parking lots, public washrooms. The promenade is blissfully free of the downtown 'crowd'. The sculptures are an interesting addition.

Beautiful river view - lots of trees and green areas. Lots of parking and bathrooms all along the river. Some interesting sculptures- not something you see every day when out for a walk or bike ride.

What a beautiful view of detroit river. Very well maintained and very clean. Very blessed that in our City (Windsor) Nice place to take a walk and collect your thoughts mind you don't step on the homeless This place is very beautiful. It's really nice to hang out and enjoy the magnificent view of the lake, ambassador bridge, and the well-maintained park itself. Lots of beaches to sit on or what we did is we lay down a blanket and feel the breeze. Make sure to take your bank charges as you will need a battery on taking videos and pictures.

A nice park and Riverfront Trail by the side of Detroit River. A great place to view the Ambassador Bridge and the City of Detroit. Walking along the Riverfront Trail, you can see a lot of Sculptures. I like the Inukshuk Statue most ! It's relaxing to walk along the Riverfront Trail !

This is a beautiful park with many sculptures you can use as props to take a lovely photo. Unfortunately when we visited it was raining. However, that didn’t stop some family members from going out and getting a photo of the sculpture Eve’s hand/apple. The view over looking the lake towards Michigan as the sun sets and the lights come in is also beautiful. I appreciate the long sidewalk along the water. I watched the people as they walked by hand in hand in the rain ahhhh. How romantic 💘.

It was early fall, the weather was perfect. The views of the Detroit River, Detroit Skyline, the Ambassador bridge were beautiful. The trail along the Detroit River was well maintained. Parkings and washrooms were available. Walked from the bridge to the Great Canadian Flag and back, it was about 7km.

This park was so nice. We loved taking a long walk down the river. It has some of the best views of the Detroit skyline. I love stopping here when we are in town. The sunset is beautiful as it drops behind the buildings. if your ever in the area, its something you can plan to see when your there.

Ive been flying out of Windsor multiple times I hope someone from the city or the CEO reads this review. Windsor airport needs more daily non stop services flying 7 days a week, not seasonal services. Daily services flying to other destinations in Ontario and Canada in general such as Montreal, Ottawa, Calgary. The airport is very easy to get through very friendly staff. However the parking lot and runways are full of grass growing through them and are very in poor condition and needs repaving. The Building is very outdated and is time for a bigger terminal that is modernized as more people are moving into the region. With more developments coming into the region and more people moving into the region the airport needs more flight with a bigger terminal. This airport has even more huge potential in the future but things have to change. Hope someone reads this and takes into consideration.

I usually don’t write reviews, but my experience at the Windsor Airport this time around deserves to be shared. This was my second time flying out of this airport. My first visit went relatively well security was a bit slow, but nothing to really complain about. This time, however, was a different story. When I arrived, there was no one at the Porter check-in desk. I politely walked over to the Air Canada desk and asked the woman working there, “Do you know if anyone is working at the Porter desk today?” Instead of a helpful or even neutral response, she replied in an unnecessarily snarky and belittling tone: “Does it look like anyone is there?” Both of us could clearly see that the desk was empty that wasn’t the point. I was expecting a simple response like, “Sorry, I don’t work for Porter,” or “They might be on a break or in the back.” Instead, she went out of her way to make me feel like I had asked the most ridiculous question imaginable. Unfortunately, the attitude didn’t stop there. When the Porter staff member finally came out, she didn’t greet us or offer a smile just a cold, “I need your IDs,” followed by, “Place your bag on the scale.” No “hello,” no “have a good flight,” nothing. This wasn’t 5 a.m. when people might understandably be a bit groggy it was 1 p.m. on a Tuesday. The lack of professionalism and basic courtesy was disappointing and honestly made the experience unnecessarily unpleasant.

Fast and smooth unloading! Staff are professional and quick. For truck drivers: enter from County Rd 42 → car rental lot → right turn to gate/intercom. If you’re early or late, you’ll need to park roadside on County 42 and call, since there’s no U-turn space inside. Be on time and everything goes smoothly!.

I’ve never felt more humiliated, targeted, and violated than I did at Windsor Airport. Without warning, I was body checked and scanned with a metal detector in front of everyone, as if I were some kind of threat. People were staring. All the workers were staring at me, Is it a kind of show you enjoy watching!!( keep your eyes to yourself, )I could feel the judgment, the whispers, the confusion — and I was just standing there treated like a criminal. And why? Because I “got randomly selected”? Funny how I was the only one they picked out. Not a single other person was checked like I was. ( #STOP RACISM) I couldn’t help but feel like I was being singled out because of the different ethnicity . I even mentioned it — and they brushed me off like it was nothing. Just a routine procedure, they said. But it wasn’t routine for anyone else around . This wasn’t just inconvenient. It was public, degrading, and completely unjustified. I felt stripped of my dignity, and for what? A so-called “random” check that didn’t feel random at all. Windsor Airport needs to take a long, hard look at its practices. Nobody — nobody — should ever be made to feel the way I did that day. If this is how they treat passengers who look “different,” then something is seriously wrong.

Experience with the staff here has been mixed… some are very friendly and helpful while others are curt and expect patrons to know their internal policies without being informed. Luggage retrieval has been super unreliable and in 10 years I have NEVER seen the bar /restaurant at the baggage turnstile open.

It might be the smallest airport in Canada. But it has almost you need except no open coffee store! It was one but has been down during the pandemic. So, making sure you have eaten something before entering the security line! Staff is very nice!

An older lady with short hair working for Air Canada at the desk had no idea what she was doing. Someone needs to train this person because she takes her sweet time with every person. Super inefficient when there’s a line up of people. If it wasn’t for another employee coming after 20 minutes, arguments would have started from other people in line. Super unprofessional and definitely needs training

Absolutely loved the tour. It was fun, entertaining, and knowledgeable. I grew up in Windsor all of my life and thought I would know everything. Nope! Loved it. I want to go again and bring more people with me.

One of the last patio days at the Windsor Club. Beautiful, peaceful and seriously delicious food. It is a members only club so if your able it is a must see!

Came in for the Tour. Beautiful center with the history and the views. Brittany was a great tour guide giving both the history and how whiskey is made. Samples were really good and the stories closed the circle.
