A visit to Comma Byron Bay is an affordable luxury that I’ve allowed myself several times and I'm not even a local. I keep getting the same treatment because it’s pure heaven. (Calm Visage facial) I hope it’s on the menu forever. Their new(ish) location is so beautiful as are the staff. I can’t fault it. 🩷Comma

Absolutely without a doubt the best massage I’ve ever had with Lina. I had the deep fibers massage and pressure was perfect, she worked away all the knots and tension in my shoulder with precision. Goddess! Will certainly book in with her again. The whole space is beautiful and calming. Just what I needed after a 70 hour working week. Thank you
Sophie B — Google review
My husband and I had the most incredible, relaxing experience at comma. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with kind and friendly staff. The place is very calming and sooooo aesthetically pleasing. Not to mention the therapists who were extremely professional, accommodating and provided an excellent massage. I definitely recommend this place and will be back the next time we're in Byron

I had SUCH a wonderful experience at Comma on Saturday. The welcoming staff were so kind (even though I muddled up my booking time) and I was instantly put at ease. I had the Equilibrium massage with Saskia and it was unbelievable. Highly recommend.
Nadia R — Google review
What a stunning experience entering Comma’s serene ambience. We loved their immersive bath house moving between magnesium hot bath, cold plunge, sauna, warm stone slab salt scrub and pail wash. Highly recommend and the staff are exceptionally lovely. We wish we booked a 90 minute session. Thank you, can’t wait to visit again!

My 3rd visit and surprisingly the best by a long shot. The space has been finished and it made a significant impact on our experience. Our therapist was also perfect, and was all topped off by the attention to detail. Love what you do!

Nimbus Co Byron, located in Byron's Industrial Estate, is a haven of relaxation offering private infrared saunas and icy plunge pools. The studio also features a carefully curated range of retail offerings. Visitors are greeted by exceptional kindness and nurturing from the staff, creating a luxurious and calm environment for relaxation, restoration, healing, and transformation. Guests appreciate the top-quality saunas, attention to detail, cleanliness, complimentary facial spritzes, luxurious body wash in shower rooms, and little treats at reception.
Stepping into Nimbus is like pressing pause on the outside world, even for just an hour. The space is calming, spotless, and the perfect place to recharge. The team is so warm and knowledgeable, always making you feel welcome and cared for. I love how generously they give back to the community, and every visit leaves me excited to return.
Roisin M — Google review
I’ve been going to Nimbus and Co since 2021 and honestly, it’s the best wellness space I’ve ever been to. The customer service is always so lovely and I feel genuinely cared for every time. Compared to other places I’ve tried in Byron, there’s a noticeable sense of calm and attention to detail. I always leave feeling relaxed, recharged and in a great mood. Highly recommend if you’re looking for some time out and proper self-care.

Amazing experience, loved every minute! Indy looked after me and she was amazing. The contrast therapy room was fantastic, ice bath and sauna you can't beat it.
Elspeth O — Google review
What a wonderful wellness space, the staff are professional, calm and welcoming. The facilities are elegant, clean and perfect for spa facilities. I always leave feeling calm and physically better than when I went in. Thanks Nimbus Byron Bay.
Napoli K — Google review
From the moment you walk into the luxurious and calm environment of Nimbus, you are greeted by the exceptional kindness, caring and all round nurturing by the gorgeous beings who cater to your individual needs and facilitate your journey into bliss. Very quickly, as the appearance of time and everything from the outside world starts to fade away, you have entered an oasis where relaxation, restoration, healing and transformation can be experienced. There is something quite unique about Nimbus, a divineness that seems to permeate the environment and your experience - I go to Nimbus in Bondi and also Byron Bay and I can highly recommend either location where you will be in warm and gentle, yet also highly professional hands in a soothing and sublime environment. As something quite different, before your sauna, treat yourself to a session in the Normatec boots for compression therapy which I had to help my lymph system - my legs have never looked or felt so good and I can't wait for my next session. In today's all too often chaotic and noisy world, Nimbus offers a beautiful and peaceful wellness space as a retreat for relaxation, healing and transformation. With gratitude for all the beautiful Nimbus family and wellness space.

Was such a great experience, the woman on the desk was super friendly and snuck me in despite me having a later appointment for the sauna. Everything was clean, tidy and felt well looked after. Visited on April 24, 2025.

Retreat center
Byron Bay Retreats offers a renowned Detox Retreat located on the Tallow Beachfront, where guests can address issues like low energy, digestive problems, sleep disturbances, and hormonal imbalances. The retreat provides professional supervision by naturopaths and healers to help rid the body of toxins through fasting with a diet consisting of juices, mineral broths, herbal teas, and ionised water.
Byron Bay Detox retreat is a truly transformational experience. Coming into the retreat I was experiencing a lot of muscle tension and tightness, feeling constantly fatigued, poor concentration and brain fog, no mental clarity and felt like I was just pushing through/surviving each day. Coming out of the retreat I feel revitalised and renewed, I’m not experiencing muscle tension and my concentration and mental clarity has improved dramatically. I can’t thank Nat and her amazing team enough for such an amazing and life changing experience.
Kat V — Google review
As a busy mum recovering from divorce I wanted to indulge in the self care I had denied myself for too long. I chose Byron Bay Detox Health Retreats over alternate retreats and spas as I wanted to feel real change, not just a pampered week away. Ironically, I was met with both the body, mind and spirit reset in addition to a whole lot of pampering. The location is second to none. The staff are authentic, genuine and heart centred. The level of care was beyond my expectations. The cleanse was deep and transformational. The therapies life changing and the friendships made felt more like a family than acquaintances. I will be sharing this experience with my friends in 2024 and can’t wait!
Kylie L — Google review
I thoroughly and wholeheartedly recommend Byron Bay Detox. It was the best form of self-care I have ever done, a much needed and long overdue respite from the busy demands of modern day and corporate life. It was my first detox, and I felt brand new as a direct result. It was what my body was crying out for by actually giving it the opportunity to do what it is designed to do - self repair. For the first time in 35 years my parasympathetic nervous system was switched into a “rest and digest” state of relaxation, digestion and recovery. This was in sharp contrast to my regular way of being with my nervous system in constant state of “fight or flight”. The practitioners are highly competent at their profession but also are absolutely lovely people. The magnificent location right by the ocean, surrounded by nature tops it all off. I’ll be back for my annual restorative reboot, reset and restore.

I have waited a little while to make sure the euphoria I experienced was real and not just holiday mode! It sure was real. Nat and her wonderful team were nothing short of brilliant, professional and kind, and I came away with a physical and mental clarity that I had forgotten existed. So much love and gratitude from me to them for helping me see the light again 🙏💖

I had a wonderful week at BBDR - which is not what you really expect from a Detox retreat. The fasting was not as difficult as I thought it would be. The juices and evening broth were delicious and our final meals were tasty! The daily morning yoga with Delamay was blissful and the evening activities were interesting and informative. The treatments were great, accommodation was comfy and the beach close-by was beautiful! All the staff were lovely, caring and helpful. Thanks Nat, Lisa and all the team for a very rewarding week. I'll be back xx
Marietta P — Google review
My wife and I have recently completed the 6 day detox. The detox itself wasn’t that hard. I never found myself hungry. The extra treatments we booked were really worth it and very valuable. The retreat itself wasn’t what we thought. Looking at the photos on their web site and facebook page, it gave the impression it was on a private land and also some of the photos showed a pool. It’s actually in a gated housing estate, with other private residences, and there is no pool. We were told the photos of the pool were in the old place. The bush walks are actually on a shared community bike track. Make sure you bring some extra money. On day one, we were told to do the detox properly, we would need to purchase a body brush, tongue scraper and some mouth wash. Not included in the package but can buy it all from them. There is a range of books there, that you can’t borrow them to read while you’re doing the detox retreat, you have to purchase them. Another review stated they supplied you with your leaving lunch. That is not the case, you have to purchase it. You feel very separate from the rest of the group apart from morning yoga, night meditation and your dinner broth. It would have been nice to get together with the rest of the group for our morning juice and our lunch time juice. After everything I have said, I did loose a few kilos of weight. I did not come away feeling recharged and feeling good about myself. I personally would not go back and do another detox retreat with them.
Rodger S — Google review
Hi Lisa, I thought before life gets in the way I need to get a note to you to say thank you. Natalie, Lani, Bec, Lucy, Laure, Amber, Hannah.... everyone at the retreat - every single person was amazing. In my humble experience, you tend to see a weariness set in with residential events but everyone's care, interest, passion and enthusiasm were as infectious on that last day as it was upon arriving. Thank you for the upgrade - that was a beautiful gesture and we were most grateful for having our own ensuite. The cabin was so cosy and comfortable - didn't need for anything. The daily yoga program, while challenging, was outstanding. Having Laure come every day ensuring that we experienced a wonderful program that was carefully crafted to our abilities and detox journey. Our evening events were amazing. The Sound Therapy evening for me was an absolute standout and I won't ever forget the sensations I experienced during that session. Nat was such an inspiring and engaging facilitator - nothing was too much trouble, always checking in on us - with absolute earnest interest, lighting up the room with every visit. Bec was also mind-blowing with her detailed analyses and life-changing advice. Lani was like an angel! Her aura visible from the moment we clapped eyes on her! Lucy - what a champion human being for guiding two rather nervous, uptight, middle-aged women through the colonic process with such good humour and empathy - we wanted to take everyone home with us. We will be back next year. Our little group of 6 jokingly said we should all come at the same time next year - very funny but I would share another retreat with those lovely people anytime. By way of impact, I came home and did an entire organic food shop, have been taking my Detox Greens every morning, am doing stretching every morning and yoga and pilates a few times per week as well as my golf etc, about to go and purchase a water filter, am sticking to a 16:8 regime whenever I can, juicing at home, waiting for my supplements to arrive today (as recommended by Bec) - and just feeling that the week was the inspirational handbrake that I needed. Thank you so very much and please pass along my sincere thanks to all the staff.... missing them and the retreat already! Hope to see them all next year.

Byron Bay Retreat what a life changing experience. To be held in the most unbelievable place amongst the most beautiful therapist I'm am feeling so grateful and am quiet ready to move forward. My breath works and Ice Bath would definitely be one of my wow moments, but to deal with the passing of my beloved Anna~Lee and the love and support from this beautiful place, I've found myself on a new wave of the Grief Cycle. Thanks Natalie for holding me through this major part of me learning to love my GRIEF. Much love and light 🙏

The spa offers an extensive menu of services, including the Organic Infusion facial, Soothing Stones massage, and the Rejuvenate day spa package. With expert therapists and a tranquil atmosphere, visitors can expect a wellness journey to remember.
Lovely facilities and relaxing environment. I had booked the treatments a while ago so I didn’t remember exactly which treatments were being delivered. My esthetician was flexible and changed my appointment to a longer massage and mini facial. Djenne was great, the massage was deeply relaxing and she customized my facial with a collagen booster. I left my appointment with a relaxed state of mind and radiant, plump skin!

Had a really relaxing massage, the staff were all lovely and answers any questions I had. They sat and asked me questions to understand my needs. I walked feeling very relaxed and refreshed.
Kylie — Google review
The staff were really lovely and welcoming, the environment was beautiful. The one issue I experienced - I arrived ten minutes prior to my appointment for a one hour session half massage half facial. They called me in on the hour, asked me questions, got me set up and then by the time we commenced nearly 10 minutes had passed out of my hour, this meant that my massage felt rushed as it came down to twenty minutes give or take. I must say the facial was very enjoyable. Unfort though when I have an hour away from my baby I want to make sure I’m getting the full experience and especially at 160.00 Better time management, other than that really lovely spa.
Jane B — Google review
My two friends and I each had a Rest and Restore Massage. Grace, my therapist, was exceptional. Grace created an experience, not just a massage. It was just what I needed after an active morning. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The decor was also pleasant and made you feel you were in exotic international location. The products used were high quality and smelled fabulous.

Everyone knows that getting anything last minute in Byron Bay is hard at the best of times not to mention how much busier when COVID happened. I took my chances and called the spa wondering if they could squeeze me in within an hour and they did! Kat was my therapist, she was knowledgeable and super lovely. The space is gorgeous. Located in a central area but once you're in, you don't even realize you're on a busiest strip of Byron Bay. Check it out!

The little company was the most gorgeous experience ever from start to finish ! The space is so beautiful and zen as well as the treatment rooms which are so gorgeous. The little company were accommodating to my last minute appointment booking and I had the pleasure of meeting Rachel my therapist. I had remedy facial yesterday and it was hands down THE BEST facial I’ve ever had. At the same time my partner had a massage with Megan and he couldn’t have been happier. Her knowledge of certain techniques made it incredible. We will definitely be back next time we are in Byron!

I had a 1 hour tailor facial. It’s the most satisfying moment I have ever had. Different from any massage or facial that I have ever tried. Perfect experience. High recommended.

5 star, out of this world facial experience. I cannot recommend Little Company highly enough. This was my first facial experience and it was completely magical! I have told all my friends that if they're in need of a little self care Little Company is the way to go. The facial feels like so much more than a beauty treatment, part massage / part meditation it is exceptional. 11/10. My skin has always been good but unpredictable and the tailored facial I had (followed by the recommended after care) completely reset my skin, and is the best its been since my early 20s. Huge thank you to Stacey and the amazing women at Little Co. for the incredible experience. xx

I have tried a few places in Byron, but The Clinic Massage is by far the best experience I've had. The team is incredibly friendly and professional, and the rooms, atmosphere, music, and overall ambiance are exceptional. A special mention goes to Max and Lucia, who not only excel at their jobs but are also genuinely nice people.

The space is calming and beautifully designed, with a serene, minimalist vibe that immediately puts you at ease. You can feel how much care goes into the experience from start to finish. Highly professional, consistently excellent, and conveniently located in the heart of Byron Bay. They also offer health fund rebates and have HICAPS on-site, which is a huge plus. Do yourself a favour and book a massage, it’s hands down one of the best things you can do for your body and mind.

Amazing experience! I had a treatment by Lucia, who is simply the best! She listened carefully to my symptoms and needs and provided a targeted treatment for my back pain. On top of it, she gave me some tips to alleviate my pain at home. The next I had already almost fully recovered! I highly recommend the center and ask for her when you go!

There is a reason this place has great reviews. Just finished a 75min deep tissue massage with Johann. I think this was the best massage I ever had. Really. He listened to all my wishes and completely tailored the massage to what I asked for. So many times I’ve had massages where the therapist follows their own routine - not the case here. It was perfect. I would recommend to anyone and I will definitely be back!

best massage ever. As a massage therapist myself I’ve never actually enjoyed a massage until here. I feel like she could feel where needed work. I think I had Maelle. 10/10. Super relaxing and gorgeous space.

Maelle did a fantastic job! My neck and shoulders were really tight, and her pressure was perfect—strong, precise, and calming. I left feeling so much better. Highly recommend!

Loved it! My sessions were always superb, professional staff and very friendly. I would make a trip given the opportunity just for the treatment! My masseur knew exactly the problem areas and corrected them and it felt great! Lovely place to get your treatment in a beautiful resort. 10/10

From start to finish, best experience. Brought my mum and sister along for a girly spa day and it was incredible. Service was fantastic, our masseuse’s met and exceeded our expectations, venue is stunning. Loved the steam before we started. Can’t recommend enough!

We were so pleased that they could fit 5 of us in for a girls afternoon. We first enjoyed some time in the steam room then had either a facial or massage. My facial was so relaxing and beautiful. The staff were so professional and friendly. We finished with a bottle of champagne in our robes. Such an amazing day! We will be back!

I had a wonderful couples massage with my partner. I’m 18 weeks pregnant and they made me feel at ease and relaxed throughout the whole treatment. I would highly recommend.
Hayley W — Google review
Booked a couples treatment. It was a really nice experience, the only problem was only one of ladies could do a facial for us. Me being the gentleman, I took the facial while my girlfriend (who had here birthday that day) had to settle for and extra 30 minute massage.
Mitchell B — Google review
This was such a beautiful enjoyable experience. Claire and the therapists were nothing but lovely and the vibe at eleme is Devine. We enjoyed our champagne on the deck overlooking the pool and rainforest. We ended up ordering food and more drinks because the space is so relaxing and inviting. The treatments were so relaxing, we were encouraged to enjoy the steam room before our treatment, enjoy tea in the beautiful coastal themed relaxation area within the spa. Will definitely visit eleme again!!!

Outdoor Activities
Wategos Beach is a picturesque and sheltered sandy beach in Byron Bay, popular for activities like surfing, swimming, paddle boarding, and picnicking. It's a 600-meter curved stretch of sand that's favored by families and backpackers due to its calm waters. The beach is accessible via one of the Byron Bay walking tracks from Cape Byron and offers a quieter atmosphere compared to the nearby lighthouse.
Lovely spot! Wasn't too busy when we were here. Great setup for a quick bbq and swim. It has a beautiful scenic walk to the light tower, which is perfect during whale watching season!
Zurika B — Google review
Beautiful beach here. But it gets really busy here on the holidays. Not many parking spaces here and it will cost you $5 an hour. Get here early for a good spot on the beach. There is a walking path leading up to the lighthouse but it isn't wheelchair friendly. There are toilets close by as well as a cafe. Highly recommend going to have a look 🙂.
Ruth M — Google review
Outstanding beach. Smaller waves that others but a great location for beginners. Small beach area compared to other beaches but still plenty of room to lay down in the sun. The area has showers and BBQ set up near the bathrooms.
Bruno A — Google review
Although publicly accessible, Its like a private beach. Let's maintain the sanity and not make it like a public beach. It will ruin the peace of locals. I visited as it was highly rated but next time will avoid

What a beautiful little spot. I wish I could have stayed for a week just there.
Adelyn C — Google review
A quiet not so busy beach. Big enough for surfers to dominate the waves areas, kids and families to enjoy another. Super clean beach, gorgeous nearly white sands and has lifeguard duty near the beach restaurant.
Bushra K — Google review
Most stunning and beautiful beach in whole Byron🩵(and probably world) Good longboard waves🏄🏼‍♀️
Sharleen R — Google review
I really like this beach. It's not very big, but it's beautiful. I love walking along the beach during low tide and seeing the rocks that appear. The available restrooms and BBQ area are very convenient. Parking can be challenging, so I recommend coming by bike. Another perk is the short distance to the lighthouse, making the beach even more appealing. Definitely one of my favorite beaches in Byron Bay! Be careful with your belongings when you go swimming. There are many turkeys that love to open bags to find food.

Elements of Byron is a luxurious beachfront resort that offers a variety of activities for both kids and adults. The resort features a parkour-inspired playground, a 'fairy trail,' family-friendly hikes, and outdoor games. For adults, there's an onsite spa and an exclusive adults-only pool in addition to the family-friendly pool. Accommodation options range from well-furnished studios to two-bedroom villas, while the Azure Bar & Grill caters to all guests.
Pure bliss…. Everything about Elements was wonderful. The low rise, luxurious eco friendly villas are beautiful. From much of the resort you can hear the waves. The gardens and surrounding bush including walking trails are full of life. Elements really has a special location - the estuary, bush and ocean. Our meals were fabulous. We loved the adults pool - warmer than the main meal so we could swim in September. We will definitely be back….

We had the most incredible stay at Elements of Byron. Our beach villa was absolutely stunning waking up to views of the ocean from our room was just magical. The property itself is breathtaking, with so much space and beautiful wildlife all around, making it feel both private and special. The pool areas were fantastic, especially the adults only pool which had such a cool, chilled out vibe (though it did get busy, which just added to the atmosphere). The swim-up bar was a highlight the food there was top-notch! The buffet breakfast was another standout. We loved the variety and the thoughtful touch of bite sized pastries, which meant no waste and the chance to try everything. The spa experience was truly divine beautifully designed, calming, and incredibly relaxing. The only downside for us was the food at Azure Restaurant. For the price point, it felt pretty average compared to everything else at the resort. Overall though, our stay was unforgettable. Elements is such a unique place that balances luxury with nature, and we can’t wait to come back next time with the kids to enjoy it all over again
Tamme L — Google review
Beautiful location surrounded by three unique ecosystems — such a special setting. Great facilities with a gym, restaurant, poolside bar, tennis court, and lovely bushwalks. It feels like living in nature! The main pool is stunning, and the adults-only pool is peaceful with its own bar. Rooms look small from the outside but are very spacious. I’d heard it was once more for couples, but it now caters really well for families and kids too. Only a short drive from Byron town — highly recommend!
Dimitris P — Google review
Beautiful place that is well maintained within a stunning environment. Our timing was perfect as it was sunny (around 23 degrees most days) without the resort being at full capacity most of our stay, so not to frenetic in the pool area etc. The main pool is on the fresh side, so be warned that it can take some adjustment. The pool itself is absolutely stunning. Pool service and menu is brilliant. Awesome menu for kids (kids toasted sandwiches, chips, milkshakes etc) and brilliant options for adults as well, with terrific cocktails and tap beer etc. Breakfast buffet and setting is also first class. The guys at the omelette station do a wonderful job. Coffee is also very good. The machine that makes pancakes is also very amusing and a hit with the kids. Local restaurants are also world class. We visited a bunch of places for dinner including The Loft, Pixies, Tokyo Doll, Harry’s and Ember. All amazing places but we rated Tokyo Doll the highest as it was a bit more chilled but food was still absolutely amazing. Harry’s was also incredible with a super chilled environment and wonderful food. Honestly, very hard to fault this place (Elements or Byron Bay) and we loved our first visit. We usually visit Noosa but decided to give Byron Bay a trial. I guess we did get lucky with timing (however) as the staff mentioned it was going to get crazy as soon as we left, as NSW school holidays had just commenced.
Andrew F — Google review
This is definitely a place where you can relax knowing that the service will always be excellent and there’s nothing you need to do. We had a wonderful week and the food, drink drinks, and rooms were all excellent. The staff are always very happy and will drive you around in carts Although the walks are also lovely. I think it’s a great place for families with young kids, but we also had teenagers with us and they seemed pretty happy too. The kitchenettes are reasonable, although there’s no Oven, so I think if I came again, I would collect more food and cater back at the villa a bit more. It’s also easy to get into Byron Bay Centre via the solar train during the day or Uber. That makes this a great location I think for staying in Byron Bay. We did yoga a couple of times. It’s in a great location looking straight at the ocean and watching the sunrise. We saw whales and dolphins from this location. The only thing would be for any regular yoga people, it’s a pretty basic and relaxing style with not a lot of heavy work.

Beautiful resort right on the beach. The property itself is quiet and peaceful. There’s wonderful walking trails on site and a wooden playground which my children loved playing on. What sets them apart is their heated plunge pool, spa gardens, sauna, and the exclusive Orchid Room for couples' treatments.
Best Massage experience of my life and I have had a few, massages that is. From beginning to end the experience was sublime the sauna and plunge pool in a gorgeous tropical garden compete with buddha statues and a friendly water dragon. The massage was the perfect pressure and the hot towels and hot oils were a lovely touch. The temperature of the room and the lovely masseuse made the experience wonderful I will be back :))

Surprised my partner with the couples divine discovery treatment. Exactly as described. We got there at 10:15 and taken comfortably into the private space for two. Questions on any preferences and given an overview of the treatment. Plenty of time to enjoy both the treatments and the shower/bath available for this treatment. On a day with rain it was beautiful to hear the rain on the rooftop and the birds chirping between breaks in rain. Would absolutely recommend.

We had the most relaxing time for our honeymoon and did the beautiful couples package. The team was so friendly and calming. The private couple treatment room was lovely and we couldn't have left more relaxed. It was also the best massage I have ever had and I've had quite a few. They focused on the tight spots I mentioned and clearly had a lot of experience!! Highly recommend if you need some time to unwind and relax.

Buddha Gardens was the perfect experience for a girls day. From the moment we arrived, Caroline gave us the warmest welcome. All the amenities - the beautiful little garden, spa pool, sauna and facilities provided - were all fantastic. The treatments (foot spa, body scrub, massage & facial) were all delightful and the therapists all had a lovely and professional demeanor. Overall a tranquil and relaxing experience with a wonderful staff.

My boyfriend & I decided to take advantage of our first day off work together in months & recently booked in for the 'Divine Discovery' couples package at Buddha Gardens Day Spa. Our 1hr drive down from the Gold Coast was definitely worth it! After our 2.5hrs of pure bliss we relaxed in the serenity of the outdoor gardens & felt no rush to leave.Staff were very welcoming & courteous. Our treatments were conducted very professionally & we both commented on the attention to detail that each therapist paid to our problem areas during our massages. Without any trouble, the lady who took our booking was happy to swap the included fruit platter for some quality chocolates for us to indulge in along with a glass of champagne each after our treatment. We both couldn't remember when we'd last felt so calm & relaxed. We look forward to our next visit.

Such a beautiful tranquil atmosphere.. loved the environment. A friend and I both had treatments and the therapists were well tuned in, friendly and gave great service. A package treatment that included foot scrub, whole body scrub, massage, facial and time in the pool and sauna.. was like heaven! Highly recommended!

We came with my partner for a couple escape experience that cost $540. For that amount we were expecting a professional treatment and experience. We had a great time to start at the spa, in the pool and sauna. Then we went in the outdoor massage cabine, it was a bit rustic but wasn’t looking as a spa retreat. We started with the Organic Coffee Scrub that was nice, then the Rose Bud bath soak for 30 minutes that was ok but too long. We started the massage, the table wasn’t comfortable, looking tacky, the massage was not feeling professional and was poorly managed, the young girl was always stopping and going around, they didn’t do the “ Balinese Body Palming & meditative face & scalp massage“ and stopped the massage earlier, the masseuse seemed she was in a rush to leave.. So we ask them why and one masseuse answered in a rude manner and explained that « we were late for the massage, but we came at the spa an hour early » We received the Fruit Platter & Glass of Champagne that was nice to finish with. When the massage finish I didn’t like the all experience and I couldn’t move my neck, I was in pain.. so I explained that to the receptionist she answered « the girls are not masseuses they are beauty therapists.. » I was a bit confused..

Thank you so much ladies, you truly are leaders within the industry.

I had the absolute pleasure of receiving a facial from Jane at the Byron Bay clinic, recently. She was incredibly knowledgable and informative about all of the products used during the facial and even ones she did not use. She explained why she was using both the products and treatments and how they would affect my skin - as I am very sensitive. She took great care in my health and wellbeing and nurtured my skin like I have never received before during a facial treatment. She has a perfect, gentle touch while working on the face, I almost fell asleep during the treatment! You can tell she has a great passion for her work and clients. I left feeling refreshed, my skin nourished and glowing. Will absolutely be returning to this clinic - I feel if I get a facial from anyone else it would simply never compare! Thank you, Jane! I had an incredible experience at Skin Divinity. :)

Nestled within the Elements of Byron resort, Osprey Spa opened in early 2016 and is dedicated to integrating the natural elements of its surroundings into its treatments. The spa boasts a beautiful design and friendly staff who are committed to making your experience memorable. Guests can enjoy a range of treatments such as the Gaia Mother Earth facial and Precious Element full body massage. Additionally, visitors can take advantage of self-guided walking tracks through the nearby rainforests and access free laundry facilities.
I recently had a 1-hour Aromatherapy Relaxation Massage at Osprey Spa with Nan, my masseur, and the experience was fantastic. I chose peppermint and lime oil, and the combination was incredibly soothing. The pressure Nan applied was perfect, leaving my body feeling relaxed and light. The staff were also very friendly, which made the entire experience even better. I highly recommend this spa for anyone looking for a truly relaxing experience.

My husband and I did the couples mineral immersion bath and massage. This room can get VERY hot during summer, especially after you have had a hot bath. Even after a cold shower, we had to close off the curtain to cool the room down. Please note this particular room is right next to the main pool area so you hear guests splashing around during your whole relaxation massage.

Beautiful experience! I have however subtracted a star due to my beauty therapist omitting my torso/stomach in the full body scrub and body wrap. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We recently celebrated our daughter’s 21st birthday with a stay at elements, and as part of the experience, we booked her a treatment at the Osprey spa. I honestly can’t speak highly enough of the care, compassion, and professionalism we encountered—starting with the booking process. Amy was absolutely wonderful from the outset. She went above and beyond to ensure we could find a suitable booking and communicated with genuine kindness and understanding. Our daughter is neurodivergent, and environments like spas—designed for relaxation—can often be overwhelming for her. While we hoped she would enjoy it, we also knew it was well outside her comfort zone. Her experience far exceeded our expectations. Our daughter came out of her treatment and reported the Noriko had given her the most relaxing experience she’s ever had. She said she felt safe, genuinely cared for, at ease, and for the first time in a long time, was able to let her mind slow down and rest. That kind of peace is rare for her—and priceless for us to witness. She said the genuine nurturing kindness Noriko offered will stay with her, beautiful. This experience was the perfect beginning to what turned out to be a truly memorable stay. I can wholeheartedly recommend Osprey Spa to anyone seeking a high-quality, nurturing, and beautifully delivered treatment. The value is undeniable. I must say this—if our girl gives it five stars and a glowing review, you can rest assured that you are in incredibly good hands. 🌟

This was the most amazing experience. The spa is so beautiful and relaxing as soon as you walk in. My therapist (Ushka I think 😬) was so welcoming and relaxing. I got the body scrub which was beautiful. A foot ritual which was quite nurturing and the full body massage which was the BEST massage I’ve ever had, it was beautifully relaxing and also healed my reoccurring bad shoulder, for a week now it’s been good!! I will definitely be back again, osprey spa was the best part of my holiday!

Yep, the reviews are accurate. The massage was extraordinary! We had 4 of the muscular well-being massages and it was the best spa experience we have all had. The ladies tailor the massage to suit your individual needs and they actually read and take on board the questionnaire filled out prior to the treatment. Clean and contemporary spa, service was great, definitely recommend!

Our recent experience at Crystal Brook Byron was totally amazing and very relaxing. The property is set at a very high standard, with maintenance a primary focus. Our room (Cypress) was fully equipped and beautifully presented throughout. We thoroughly enjoyed our time each afternoon relaxing by the pool and in the sauna. I must mention our massages at the Day Spa, our treatments were as good as you’d expect anywhere - thanks to the very talented Annie for her skills and lovely relaxed professionalism.🥂

Firstly if you’re thinking about staying in a Luxury resort in Byron, this place isn’t a 5 star resort. 4 at best…on a good day when the staff are in a good mood… The hotel appears on the outside to be very promising but it’s as if the accountants have been given just too much leeway vs the people wanting to create a genuine luxury hotel. The rooms are…fine…when you don’t look too closely, at the fixtures and fittings not fitting properly, occasionally a cobweb…panels on the shower walls looking like out of dorm room, not a purported luxury hotel. Staff wooden, not rude, just perfunctory. No effort beyond the minimum. Breakfast…highly average. Not worth the charges… I regret not spending the extra and staying at Elements of Byron. A thoroughly underwhelming experience for the money.

Another beautiful stay - my 4th visit here and my favourite resort in Australia. Whenever you need a space to escape, restore and nourish the mind, body and soul, this is the place for you. Immersed in the rainforest and you can hear the waves of the ocean in the background and the sounds of nature as you wake in the morning and see the sunrise. A big shout out to Hugh, who goes above and beyond the lead an incredible team who are clearly devoted to exceptional customer service and delivering the best experiences for guests. I received a complimentary upgrade and a special welcome gift - the kinds of touches that matter, and that will make me a repeat guest for many years to come. The suites are lovely, and the resort pool is the best you will find. The rainforest setting is also unique and a real point of difference - you get to enjoy the hustle and bustle of the town centre in the day and then retreat to your sanctuary in the afternoon for a cocktail by the pool with a book and the option of cooking your own food too if you like with a fully self contained kitchen. Otherwise Forest does exquisite locally focused food with talented and innovative chefs. Thank you for a wonderful stay - just what I needed and I appreciate you all. Highly recommend as a luxury 5 star resort in every sense of the word.

Enjoyed a few relaxing days at Crystalbrook Byron Bay for my wife's birthday. The room and facilities were spacious and clean. The staff were all so friendly and accommodated any of our requests. I would highly recommend anyone with a baby to stay as there are plenty of options to keep occupied whilst having some downtime.

Overall we enjoyed our one night stay but we feel the rooms are getting a little dated and in need of renovations or a freshen up. When entering the room there was a strong musty/mouldy smell (could be just this room or ones of lower levels??). Once opening up the front and rear doors to get some airflow it was ok. If we were staying any longer we would have asked to move. The main grounds were very nice and well kept. The included breakfast in the restaurant was very good even though there was a long wait to be seated and then for the food to arrive. We would consider staying again if in the area but only if we could get it for a better price as we feel it was expensive for the quality of the room. On a positive note, the staff were amazing and could not fault their services during our interactions.

I am so happy with the results already and the natural and subtle approach. Feeling super confident going into my last year of my 30s. I'll definitely be making the 4.5hr drive to see Alexa for my next appointment. Highly recommend 🙌🏼✨️

Nurse Renee is one of those rare people who makes you feel completely at ease straight away. She’s amazing at what she does and has an incredible eye for detail! So happy to have found my new injector.

One of the best salon experiences I’ve ever had! The space is absolutely beautiful and the beauty beds are honestly the comfiest I’ve ever been on I actually fell asleep during my treatment. I got a lash lift, and even with my short, blonde lashes, the results are amazing! The lady who did them was super professional and made me feel really comfortable. I’d happily recommend this salon to anyone looking for great service in a gorgeous setting!

Highly recommend Aesthetica! Lex and Renee were both so warm, professional and receptive to what I was after. They made the whole experience so welcoming and comfortable. I feel so fortunate to have found my new skin care clinic in Aesthetica. The LED light therapy was the cherry on top following the wrinkle relaxers. 10/10 experience

Renee is hands down the best beautician I’ve ever been to. Her knowledge is incredible, and she knew exactly what my skin needed. I feel completely confident in her care—she’s exceptional.
Melissa — Google review
Since my initial visit Aesthetica, I’ve remained a loyal client due to the consistently exceptional experience and results. Lex is incredibly skilled and goes beyond to make sure you feel comfortable. Her care and attention to detail really make every appointment a great experience. Can’t recommend enough X
Samantha W — Google review
Lex is fantastic. She has been so patient with my concerns and gone above and beyond providing a really caring and professional service. I'm really pleased with the work (injectables) she has done. Even though she's super busy, she made time for my anxious check ins, with kindness and care. Plus our chats during appointments are always super interesting - I can't recommend Lex and the clinic highly enough 🥰

My car broke down, so I ended up having to stay in Byron Bay unexpectedly. Even though I made the reservation for 8pm, the service was incredibly kind and professional. The staff were amazing. Thank you so much.

The 2 star review might seem strange but let me explain. Room was nice, bed comfy, good size. TV only had free to air which was awful. Check in and ease of access is great. The staff took a photo of my licence and credit card which leaves me extremely uncomfortable. Being an AMEX my details are all on the front and he's one phone hack or lost phone away from someone stealing my card info and licence info. The location in Byron itself is good but this is where it goes bad. Laying awake most of the night whilst people sit outside near the pool playing music until 3am - no consideration for those actually trying to sleep. Wake up early to construction next door and the smashing and banging of concrete and diggers. 7AM people are in the pool right outside my window making more noise than 7AM allows. After an awful no sleep night, this is shattering. I understand this is out of the owners control, but measures need to be taken and I'd not have stayed knowing construction was next door. The makings of an otherwise decent venue that is ruined by bad people and poor disclosures. Would stay here again if all these issues were fixed.

I would like to express my gratitude for the excellent service I received during my visit. The staff demonstrated very high values and outstanding customer service, which made my experience truly enjoyable, I had small issue where they helped me straight away without anything asking back. In particular, I would like to recognize Jesinta. Her professionalism, and warm approach really stood out and helped me sort everything out. 🙌 Thank you once again for such a positive experience.

Stayed here for 2 nights. It was cheaper than a lot of the other places we looked at. Weren’t too fussed on the room as we weren’t there much. We had an early flight and was able to leave our bags there but couldn’t check in until 1130. Only a few minutes walk to the main area. Perfect size studio room with an outdoor area with 2 chairs and a table. No issues with the room and was very clean. Air conditioner worked perfectly. We used the pool loungers one of the days but didn’t go in the pool, it was a little small but very clean. Would recommend.

Couldn’t have asked for a better stop-off on our travels. Azabu is the perfect getaway tucked in the hills behind Byron Bay. The sliding doors and private porch in the rooms make you feel like you’re staying in the bush and the sunken jacuzzi hot tub/shower is a deluxe touch. TP the owner/host is a legend and zen master!

Absolutely loved our time here.. Out of town, so it's quiet, about a 6 minute drive. Rooms are not modern but they are comfortable and quaint with a Japanese style to them. Double glass doors open on to your balcony, screening in-between each unit. Pool and Hot Pool we made use of 🤍 TP was an amazing host who cooks a mean breakfast. Highly highly recommend and will definitely return.

Booked and paid for 2 nights, could NOT stay another night as the room smelt so Bad of Mould, was full of long term cobwebs and dirt that had not been cleaned in ages .. Broken lights, doors etc . After Confirming that they resold the second night . NO Reimbursement came after repeated requests. A Disturbing Experience . Until there's a change of management and the property is bought up to oh&s basic standards .. Stay Clear !

Nestled along the stunning coastline of Byron Bay, Sattva Massage offers a unique wellness experience that combines breathtaking ocean views with exceptional service. This seaside studio is renowned for its soothing Kahuna-style massages, where the gentle sound of waves serves as the perfect backdrop to your relaxation journey. The setup may be simple—a massage table facing the sea—but it creates an inviting atmosphere that enhances every treatment.
I just wanted to reach out and say thank you to Cynthia for the incredible massage. A friend recommended you from Sydney and I can honestly say it was one of the best massages I’ve had!! From the moment I arrived at, I felt at ease!! The space is calming and welcoming, and your energy made it even more special. You have such an intuitive way of working — I felt completely comfortable and cared for the entire time. I really appreciate the time and attention you gave me, and that kind of generosity means a lot. It’s rare to come across someone who truly creates a space for people to rest and recharge the way you do. I walked out feeling lighter, clearer, and genuinely better — not just physically, but emotionally too. You’ve definitely gained a new client!! See you soon :-)
Zair T — Google review
One of the best massages and treatments I've had. I am in Byron Bay just for 3 days & 2 nights. As a Holistic Practitioner myself who is used to working intuitively, I was looking for a massage therapist who would have the intuitive gift of scanning the body and getting to the root of where the physical imbalances are. Lucie is one of the best massage therapist I have had in a long while and I came out having almost all the deep seated tension and aches in my body released. The treatment here was so satisfying, I had to book in an Ayurveda Heart opening treatment with Cynthia this morning before I leave to fit one more treatment in. It was so deeply nourishing, healing and relaxing. I can't recommend Sattva Spa enough. As a regular traveller to Byron Bay, I think I have found my go to spa here. Thank you for the healing treatments and I can't wait to be back to experience other treatments!

I recently visited SATTVA Spa for a deep tissue massage, and it was exactly what I needed. The spa’s calming ambiance—soft lighting, soothing music, and essential oils—immediately helped me relax. My therapist, Nana, was fantastic. She tailored the session to focus on my tense areas, applying just the right amount of pressure. By the end of the massage, I felt lighter and completely relaxed. Nana was professional and attentive throughout, ensuring my comfort and adjusting pressure as needed. If you're looking for a restorative experience, I highly recommend this place I’ll definitely be coming back!
Diego T — Google review
Highly recommend this place!! Managed by the owner, Cynthia, who was incredibly empathetic and attentive to my requests. Both times I visited, I was going through tough health challenges, and I felt truly cared for and well-treated. The Ayurvedic approach is a huge plus. The entire place is impeccable, from the music and products to the staff. After my Ayurvedic massage with Nana, I finally had a good night’s sleep, which hadn’t happened in a long time. If you’re visiting Byron Bay, this is a must-try!

Sattvya Spa is a beautiful space with a lovely ambience. Highly recommend !

We stayed here for 5 nights... a luxurious experience. The rooms were clean and beds very comfortable, waking up to the chorus of bird sounds each morning was magical, and sharing the grounds with the resident peacocks. The staff are very laid back and accommodating in a non-intrusive way. The pool was great, and the spas overlooking the hinterlands were an incredible way to finish off the day (we went in the cooler months), also beautiful at night under the stars. Would highly recommend staying here. we will definitely be back. thank you for a memorable experience.

We stayed in Villa 1 and we’re blown away by the serenity and beauty. We had massages booked in that left us melting away with lovely views and nature noises. Each morning we were welcomed with breakfast boxes and the team were so professional. The Villa was stunning with everything we could need. Walking around, the hot tub was easily accessible and kept warm all day. I would definitely recommend and would go again in a heartbeat.

Secluded location with excellent views from the choice of 2 large hot tubs. Enjoyed despite heavy rain because of a super size umbrella! We had 2 separate rooms on consecutive nights and both exceeded expectations. The reception area & guest facilities are very special. Highly recommended at the price point!

I don’t have enough words to describe how much we loved our stay at Cape Byron Retreat. My husband and I went to celebrate our wedding anniversary there and we loved it, the place is absolutely stunning, rooms are clean and amazingly beautiful!!! Marcella and Natan made our stay even better. Marcella was welcoming right from our arrival, and if we needed anything she was a phone call away. We can't recommend highly enough.

We were looking for a quiet place to unwind yet be able to go into Byron and the surrounding towns, Cape Byron Retreat ticked all the boxes. Very quiet and peaceful, the hot tubs were great for relaxing and our villa had its own little private courtyard. The staff were very friendly and discrete. Highly recommended!

We stayed 3 nights and our stay was perfect. Check-in was easy, the property is so beautiful. Our room was clean & comfortable, bed made each day with fresh towels and room cleaned. We ordered a welcome platter on arrival which was huge and went perfect with our complimentary bottle of bubbly. Our room was quiet also. We booked Swedish massage and relaxation facials and they were amazing. Time in the jacuzzi and the view was everything we needed for a relaxing few days away together. Thank you for a perfect stay we hope to come back and stay again. Highly recommended only short drive into shops and cafes.

Thanks Marcella and your team for a wonderful stay and exceptional service. Your place is immaculate and so private with lush gardens meandering through the property. The most beautiful, peaceful & relaxing retreat. Only 6 minutes to the main centre it is the perfect sanctuary away for rejuvenation, stillness and quiet. My husband and I stayed for 2 nights. Right from our arrival Marcella was kind and welcoming. If we needed anything she was always there ready to help. Even the grounds keeper was lovely and gave us great recommendations on where to eat. The grounds are so beautiful. We loved the 2 huts to relax and read, the main quarters are available for guests to use which was perfect to enjoy the sunset whilst reading. The pool was nice and fresh!! Perfect after lying in the hot sun. I can not fault this place. From the beautifully set up rooms, the facilities and the incredibly helpful staff I would highly recommend this place. We will definitely be back early next year. Kindly, Manuao and Semi.

Guests can enjoy organic cold-pressed juices while relaxing in a tranquil beach setting in Byron Bay. The retreat is praised for its informative and transformative nature, leaving participants feeling lighter, brighter, and refreshed both physically and mentally.
I completed a 5 day juice fast with White Lotus Retreats. It was very challenging for me in many levels but by far one of the most positive, life changing things I have done. It has kick started a very healthy way of life for me and I have received the benefits of the cleanse months later and continue to do so. I would highly recommend this to cleanse. I felt very safe and nurtured the whole time. Amazing!!

we had the most incredible life changing experience with Sarah and the white lotus cleansing company. My partner and I flew from melbourne to Take part in a seven day water fast! It was the most incredible journey and more enjoyable than I thought! We learnt so much and felt like brand-new people by the end of the 7 days. We can’t wait to do it all again in a few years time 🥰 thank you for the life changing experience. I couldn’t recommend highly enough!

I recently completed a 5-day water fast with White Lotus Cleansing, and can honestly say it was life-changing. I can't praise Sarah highly enough. Her guidance throughout the entire process was invaluable. The accommodation at Broken Head beach was amazing - so peaceful and serene, and it made the experience even more special. I highly recommend this retreat to anyone looking for a transformative and rejuvenating experience. I will definitely be back!

I’ve recently completed my second round of 3 x colonics (for $300AUD) with Sarah & her assistant Maria from White Lotus Cleansing at The Health Lodge. Over the past 10 years I’ve had numerous colonics all over the world as “cleaning out my pipes” is an integral part of my longevity protocol. We’re only as healthy as our gut! A mid-year cleanse was just what the doctor ordered. After my 3 visits this week I’m feeling vibrant, energetic and free from nasty toxins and waste preventing my colon from thriving. The colonic session goes for about 40 minutes. I recommend adding the stomach massage or learning how to self massage - it makes a difference. Sure, it’s a bit uncomfortable at first but honestly you get used to it and I’ve even began to treasure the experience as a sacred act of service for the greater good of my gut and long term health. No pain, no gain! The location, The Health Lodge, is just out of the hustle and bustle of Byron main area, on Bangalow Rd. Usually plenty of parking. It’s also home to a Bath House, Psychology, Naturopathy among other holistic offerings. I highly recommend getting your colonic with Sarah or Maria from White Lotus Cleansing 🌺💞

I found this retreat via Google and am so pleased I did. Sarah was my host for a 10 day water fast. I have done water fasting on my own on a few previous occasions however I always thought there must be something more. And there is. With Sarahs guidance I experienced the deepest level of detox in the 60 years I have been upright. Also learned some new skills that perfectly compliment the program. Sarah is highly experienced and will closely manage your journey to better health during your stay but also continues after you leave. I highly recommend the White Lotus Cleansing Retreat in Byron.

Last year I completed with my fiancé a 5 day water fast cleanse at White Lotus Retreats in Byron Bay. Sarah was unbelievably welcoming and this was a life changing experience. We came up to remove our toxins from our body’s and give ourselves a fresh restart and I cannot explain how good this was. Everyone has to do this at least once in their lives! My partner was struggling with fertility issues and now she is 6 months pregnant! I believe this cleanse contributed immensely to us achieving our goal of having a child. The yoga, meditation, sauna and ice bath sessions were incredible and Sarah made us really comfortable with the colonic irrigations. Once again A+++++

In addition to hair services, they offer facials, massages, manicures, and spa packages. Clients praise the talented and caring artists who provide exceptional hair and makeup experiences for special occasions like weddings.
Tahlia is hands down the best hair dresser I’ve ever had. She totally gets my style (even when I sometimes don’t) and she always knows what my hair needs to help me look my best. In the 10 plus years I have been going to Sulis she has been nothing but professional, warm and accommodating. She’s a beautiful person with a passion for helping her clients to look their best. No wonder she’s in high demand. I always feel 5 years younger when I walk out of the salon. That’s priceless!
Wendy W — Google review
I recently visited a salon for a hair colouring service, with the specific goal of achieving full grey coverage, neutralising red tones, and an even overall colour. However, after the service, I was left unsatisfied. My hair appeared too dark, grey hairs were still visible, and the colour was uneven, with some parts darker than others. I raised these concerns with the salon, explaining that the results did not match what we had discussed. In response, the salon offered to redo the grey coverage at the roots but refused to address the overall colour. They argued that the outcome fell within acceptable limits, based on the consultation. However, I pointed out that under Australian Consumer Law (ACL), services must be provided with due care and skill and should deliver the promised result. I emphasised that the service did not meet the expectations set during the consultation, which entitles me to a remedy—either by having the full service redone or receiving a refund. The salon replied that dissatisfaction with the result after agreeing to the service doesn’t justify a refund. I countered by clarifying that this isn’t about changing my mind, but about not receiving the agreed outcome. The issues of visible grey hairs and an uneven, red-toned colour were not resolved, which is far from the desired result we had initially discussed. This is my worst experience ever,, not for the experience at the salon because Stephanie is lovely, but with the manager, Tahlia that she wasn’t able to give a proper resolution based on my consumer rights. They are also lying about wanting to redo my hair because on my last email I specified that i was able to come on Wednesday at 3 PM. Please confirm. and they reply, "We wish you all the best in the future."

I’ve been seeing Tahlia for many years now. She’s not only a great colourist and exceptionally skilled cutter, but she always prioritises the health of my hair. She uses beautiful Aveda products. The space is gorgeous - calm, welcoming and beautifully kept. Tahlia is a true professional with a genuine passion for what she does, and it really shows in the results. Highly recommend!

I've been a regular client of Sulis for many years now. Tahlia provides excellent customer service. She looks after her clients, making sure she is across their needs and requirements and is flexible and great at suggesting what's best for my hair at each appointment, and across the longer term with regards to my colour, treatments and styling. She is probably the best hairdresser I've had in over 25 years of frequenting salons!
Laura B — Google review
This salon is absolutely beautiful with a calm vibe and lovely staff! Highly recommend. Also Jodie’s facials and skin rejuvenation treatments also available here are incredible!
Lisa ( — Google review
Tahlia is so talented and knowledgeable to the point of true hair artistry. I've been coming to Sulis to have my hair done by Tahlia for many years now, and after my last experience thought it was about time I left her the fantasic review her business deserves. I came in with a picture of what I wanted and as is usual for her, she took it beyond my own expectations and to the next level. I walked out with hair that looked even better than in the picture, not only beautifully coloured and styled, but even after lightening, also looking vibrantly healthy and shining. I continue to return here again and again because I have complete faith every time that when I leave my hair will not only look, but also feel at it's optimal best. Tahlia always takes the greatest care with my hair and I would never go to anyone else.
Jeannette F — Google review
Absolutely amazing. I came in with bleach damaged hair that had grown out awfully and resulted in me having half coppery frizzy hair and the other half my extremely dark natural hair. I had very little hope that there was much that could be done other than cutting it off, but the girls gave me the most beautiful light brown ash colour that was the exact same colour all over. Not only does it now look great, it feels so much better. The products they use made my hair feel nourished and they smell incredible without being abrasive. All the girls were incredibly friendly and professional, super sweet and lovely and listened to exactly what I wanted. Cannot recommend Sulis enough.
Sienna B — Google review
This is seriously the best place you can go. I had a terrible experience in another place and the colour of my hair ended looking awful. I had the top of my head in a warm colour and cool dark at the ends. Jodie did the most beautiful color correction ♥️ and I’m so happy with my hair again! It looks seamless, natural and suits my tone of skin. This is the only place i will comeback for doing my hair.

What a beautiful place to holiday. The Villas provide the most serene surroundings to relax and take time out. There is the ultimate attention to detail in every aspect of the Villa. The staff are accommodating to any request and were so helpful in making our holiday there memorable. We will definitely be back, absolutely loved it!!!

We had to cancel our holiday because of Cyclone Alfred, after initially agreeing to cancel and refund our stay, hotel management “changed their mind” and were the ONLY business refusing to refund out of all the cancellations we made. Shame on you, no one can book here with confidence since you show absolutely no flexibility.

Right from the moment we entered the Villa we were totally blown away by the beauty in Japanese inspired architecture and the attention to detail with the luxe interior! It exceeded our expectations! Stunning! The added feature of the private outdoor pool/ hot tub and lounge/dining made it hard to even leave the Villa. I had read a lot of reviews about the outdoor toilet so I had my concerns but it wasn’t a bother but the step over into the toilet is a bit of a hazard so be mindful! The out door shower was so lovely and peaceful. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook when we wanted and we found the whole Villa to have everything we required to just sit back and enjoy the gorgeous space. The bottle of bubbles was a lovely gift! We can’t wait to return! Magical!

My Wife and i just spent 2 nights and were very impressed with the Villas, everything from time of booking through to arriving and then checking out the communication was outstanding and the whole process was easy and stress free. As the photos show on the website the Villa is perfectly layed out inside and beautifully decorated that's comfortable and relaxing, then theres a beautiful private pool & Spa and outdoor area to relax. They have thought of everthing. Highly recommend staying here at least once for what will be an experience never to forget. It definitely exceeded our expectations. Incredibly clean, beautiful decor with a warm and inviting feel, very private and peaceful, surrounded by stunning vegetation. Cleanliness was exceptional! Loved all the little surprises that awaited us, including the lovely bottle of bubbles and the abundant fruit platter to the smaller touches of the incense sticks and large outdoor candle ready to be lit for that romantic feel. We spent a lot of time in the plunge pool and spa, sunbathing on the lounge chairs or reading/dozing on the stunning day bed. Did not feel the need to leave our villa although we did venture into town a couple of times for some lovely meals. Our experience was so enjoyable (& one of our favorite places to date) that we have promised ourselves to return again next year. Most enjoyable!!!

If you do not wish to compromise on quality, luxury & comfort then these Villas are the perfect place to stay. We had an amazing time staying here. We stayed for five nights & were deeply impressed with how nice, peaceful & relaxing these villas are. Location is great too not far from the main hub. We often walked to the shops & eateries in the centre of the town as it was a comfortable walk there. The villas have everything you need to make your stay comfortable so just bring your suitcase. The toiletries supplied are of my favourite brand. The pre & post check in service was great too. Some may think the price is too high but remember you are getting good value for money. The villas were recommended to us by a colleague & we are glad we took the advice & booked. Beautiful memories made here to be cherished forever.

We absolutely loved our few nights here, wished we had booked longer. The villa was incredible, loved the setting and styling, was perfection.. We had one of the hampers and organized in house massages on one of the days felt incredibly indulgent and such a romantic place. Thank you so much for the welcoming champagne and fruit platter. Will be visiting again, thanks so much for a fabulous few days

Wow - this accommodation is spectacular. Every detail has been thought of, from the heated floors to the sound of the tranquil waterfall & the abundance of fruit left for guests to enjoy. Fast wifi, luxurious linens, top of the line appliances and furnishings throughout. A huge amount of space and amazing value for money. I will never stay anywhere else in Byron after experiencing the Villas of Byron. Could not recommend higher!

Shambhala is a hidden gem located on Belonghi Beach, offering serene 1- to 3-bedroom cottages with ocean views and private beachfront access. The property features modern cottages with full kitchens, living rooms, private decks, and hot tubs or saunas. Guests can enjoy yoga/meditation areas, a sauna, steam room, and fitness center for relaxation.
Our family of 5 and our two chihuahuas stayed in the SARITA villa. The property is amazing, conveniently located a short drive out of town, but serenely quiet due to this. The beach access was amazing, the facilities on site were amazing too. We loved the private spa, and the sauna and steam room. The villa itself comfortably housed our family with ease. Unfortunately with cyclone Alfred bearing down, the beach wasn’t overly inviting for swimming, but was still beautiful for beach walks. The cyclone cut our stay short too, however, we will definitely stay again!

An unforgettable stay — peaceful, grounding, and beautifully intentional. Shambhala is truly something special. From the moment we arrived, we felt a deep sense of calm and connection. Tucked away in nature but just moments from the beach, it’s the kind of place that instantly slows your heart rate. Every detail — from the rose quartz and jade at the entrance to the spa, sauna, and oceanfront views — felt considered and sacred. We stayed in the two-storey, two-bedroom retreat and absolutely loved waking up to the sound of waves, having coffee on the deck at sunrise, and winding down with dinner on the deck (loved the cabana) each evening. It was the perfect space for our Ritual Reset — a deeply intentional few days of rest, reflection, and reconnection. The team were so warm and welcoming, and their hospitality made the experience even more special. We've had so many people ask about our stay, and we can’t wait to come back. If you're looking for somewhere to reconnect with yourself, your loved ones, or simply the present moment — this is the place. Thank you for everything, Shambhala 🌿 – Michelle & Martin

3 Nights at Shambhala just not enough - Location are the best - to wake up to the sound of the waves every morning was such a blessing. The gardens are beautiful 😍 Thank you Rachael and Sabrina you made everything so easy for us. We can’t wait to be back soon.

My friend booked three nights in the Shanti Cottage for my 60th birthday. Whilst we completely understand that management has absolutely NO control over the weather, they could have let us know that the steps down to the beach had been washed away. The first night we stayed, the smoke detector went off in another cottage around 11pm and went for some time. We had to call someone to come and switch it off. We were given a bottle of bubbly & block of chocolate for the inconvenience of being woken the previous night. We asked for a bath mat which was missing from one of the rooms, which we were told we would get, and we did not. The second night we were there, our TV screen stopped working. We messaged management the next morning and were advised someone would be around to have a look at it later that day. No one showed, so we went two nights without a TV in the lounge room. The cottage smelled damp and the cupboards and drawers smelled of mildew and mould. The bedrooms have several windows that don't have coverings, so the rooms get light early. Overall, the cottage could do with some love - new furniture, new fittings, etc - it was all rather tired and smelly. On the last night when using the sauna, the lights stopped working. We didn't even bother notifying management given our previous experience. The chlorine in our spa was so strong, I ended up with a rash on my back. Considering the amount of money we spent to stay in this facility, we definitely felt ripped off and taken advantage of. The gardens and location are wonderful, it was just so disappointing that our cottage was such a let down.

A glorious stay in fantastic Samadhi cottage ( although that seems an understatement) the expansive deck/bbq & spa were all enjoyed. The bedroom was delightful & the proximity to beach / wave sounds made our stay that extra special. A 3 night stay just left us hungry for more. We will return. Thank you Rachel & our best regards to the brush turkeys- who are really quite chilled albeit imposing birds

I am very disappointed with my stay in the Shiva room. Initially, it seemed like a lovely room with a great atmosphere. However, when the blinds were lowered, they proved to be completely transparent, lacking privacy. Other guests could see directly into the lounge room and bedroom, which was quite concerning. I am unsure why the issue with the blinds couldn't be fixed, especially considering that blinds are generally affordable. It would have been a simple solution to ensure guest privacy. Furthermore, I was disappointed to find that we were only provided with two towels for the entire duration of our trip. Moreover, in the cooler months, the towels remained constantly damp, which was quite uncomfortable. In addition to these issues, I noticed a significant amount of dust behind the bed and bedside cabinets. It seemed like the unit hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in some time. Overall, my experience in the Shiva room fell short of my expectations, and I am left feeling very disappointed.
Blakeay S — Google review
Great location and secure. The shower would completely flood the bathroom floor and into and across the floor of the bedroom…..which we had to use all our beach towels and some to soak up water…..what is super disappointing is this is already mentioned in previous reviews and not yet fixed….I would hate to see someone slip over during the night to the bathroom. Half the unit is in full view for everyone to view in from the main path passing 2 meter in front of the floor to ceiling windows. I feel it’s overpriced. We were a late arrival so never got to meet manager….but the lead up to booking and arrival was super organised professional friendly and easy to checkin.

Had a beautiful couple of night's in the 'Sarita' cottage. Peaceful, quiet and relaxing. Shambhala location is fabulous, right on the beach and less than 5mins from the town. The cottage was very warm and inviting.. lot's of natural light and everything you could possibly need. The staff are friendly and helpful.. and completely leave you alone to just chill and enjoy the space. All the cottage's have their own private spa and the grounds are well maintained with timber walk ways leading you from your bungalow to the beach. I will definitely be back. Hopefully soon and hopefully often.

Normally I never write google reviews but I really wanted to share with everyone what a great experience I had with Tal. I choose the Spirit Bath Treatment and it was an experience like no other. It’s really hard to describe, you have to experience it. I loved how Tal guided me through the whole journey, explaining what he’s doing. After it I felt fresh, light, grounded and very happy with myself. Highly recommend the treatments!!

I love this place! As soon as you step into Just Be Space you instantly feel at peace & will always be welcomed with a big smile & hug from the Dream Team Tal & Nikita. I've been lucky enough to have had 2 private sessions with Tal & I always walk away thinking how amazing he is. I can't recommend Tal more highly, I just wish I could spend more time in his presence. Thank you for the wisdom Tal! All the best brother!

Tal and Nikita provide such a special experience at Just Be Space. Booking any classes or treatments is so easy via email with the lovely Nikita - she is always so lovely and accomodating! The space in West End is absolutely beautiful - it's so peaceful and has a welcoming energy. Treating myself to a spirit bath three times over the past couple of months, the personalised sessions with Tal allow me to reset my mindset and set new intentions for each month. Tal has such beautiful and warm energy - I'm hooked! I like to book a spirit bath once a month - I am keen to attend more of their classes!

Tal is a compassionate and intuitive healer. He recently visited my home and created a very calm and relaxing space for my treatment. I would highly recommend Tal's services and recommend booking a home visit as his presence brought an abundance of positive energy and transformed my wellbeing.

Tal has created a sanctuary that you don’t know you need until you have experienced it. A place so safe, so energizing and so filled with love that not only does he hold space for you but he guides you on how to hold space for yourself. WithinU is so carefully curated to ensure that you feel at home and protected as soon as you walk through the door. In one session, I felt more energized, more calm and more present than I have in a very long time. I cannot wait to return soon.

We asked Tal at Be Yoga, if he could facilitate a private event for my staff that would include Yoga Nidra. What a wonderful, and inviting space for all of them. A lot of them had not meditated before, but it was the perfect experience and everyone really enjoyed it and felt so good on completion. Would totally recommend it for your staff or for any occasion. Very professional and well catered for, for all individuals. Thanks Be Yoga xxx

I had such a magical experience at Within U Ritual House, Tal is an absolute gift. After receiving the treatments, I literally floated out the door. Thank you Tal, I am so glad to have had the opportunity to see you - I am feeling empowered and focused for the new year ahead.

This place is just heaven. From the moment you enter the door, you are always greeted with a smile and love. The warm hugs makes you feel so welcome and special. Tal`s voice during meditation/yoga is like a balm on a heart, I could listen to it all day . I love everything about this place, it is nothing like I have ever experienced before. I never thought I will enjoy yoga again after couple of trials in my life, but I do now and it opened completely new world for me - of love, peace and acceptance. Every time when I leave, I feel happy and grateful for a beautiful experience - and ooh, those amazing essential oil touches at the end of the class are just magical. Thank you so much for creating this beautiful place. Namaste

I went in for a facial with Tracey on the weekend. She was super friendly and made the experience very comfortable. The space was very relaxing. The facial was incredible and my skin has honestly never felt better! I left feeling super relaxed and rejuvenated. Would definitely get another facial from her and will be staying updated for when she takes it on the road and comes near my city hopefully!

Mrs PC loves a massage and has had them all over the world and she said the deep tissue massage from Mayrav at BE is one of the best ever, very caring, definitely in her top 5. Mayrav was full of great local knowledge and tips as well as asking questions so the massage is a personal “good fit”. A great experience

I booked in with Tracey about a month ago for reiki. She is exceptionally knowledgeable and it was comforting to know that as well as her kind nature, spirituality, Tracey also has science to back her work and passion. She was extremely respectful and attentive. Providing a lot of guidance to assist with my healing journey. I will be a regular client from now on. Thank you! :)

I did book both a massage and facial with Tracey and it was a really great experience! Tracey is experienced and capable. She was able to massage my very stiff neck and shoulders in a gentle but effective way. The facial was also a nice and relaxing experience, I left with my whole body glowing. Plus, she is also great fun! Highly recommend her and will surely go back

In what is generally a high priced market, Byron Wellbeing retreats offer incredible value for money. Thankyou Kirsten, I will definitely be back. Di Barry
