Restaurant
La Saletta is a charming restaurant located in a residential street near the sea, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere. Originally established as a simple trattoria in 2009, it has since evolved into an elegant and well-furnished dining space with attentive service. The menu features traditional Sardinian dishes made with carefully selected ingredients and modern culinary techniques. Guests can choose from three tasting menus or opt for à la carte selections.
One of the best meals I’ve ever had. Exceptional in all respects. Unexpected / unplanned find when visiting for a long weekend from Bologna. We were treated to a delicious culinary experience of inventive takes on Sardinian cuisine. Service was fantastic - the chef came out and described every dish in detail. Ambiance was perfect - elegant and well curated space without being stuffy. Price to quality ratio is impressive, with an excellent wine list- something good available in a wide range of budgets. I expected to pay a lot more for this type of meal. 1000% recommend to everyone that goes to Alghero.

🌟 A 5-Star Plus Experience at La Saletta, Alghero 🌟 Our evening at La Saletta was nothing short of remarkable. We chose the tasting menus Memoria and Radici, each offering a thoughtful journey through flavors, textures, and culinary innovation. While both menus demonstrated exceptional creativity, Memoria stood out with its depth and execution—an experience simply incomparable. From our perfectly placed table overlooking the kitchen, we enjoyed a theatrical view of the chefs at work, adding an extra layer of immersion to the evening. The dishes themselves were artful, showcasing elements of spherification and a tasteful fusion between modern techniques and traditional roots. Each plate brought surprise and delight, meticulously paired with an intriguing bottle of local red wine that complemented both the regular and vegetarian courses seamlessly. The hospitality was top-tier. Staff introduced every dish with genuine passion and professionalism—infused with a wonderful sense of humor that made us feel entirely at ease. A special mention must be made for the welcome extended to our dog Toffee, who was treated with care and warmth from the moment we arrived. As the evening came to a close, the chef’s warm wave goodbye was the cherry on top of an unforgettable dining experience. La Saletta isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a memory-maker. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+ Highly recommended.
Steve L — Google review
Our table had mixed reviews - so the rating is an average between my boyfriend’s 4.5⭐️ and my 3.5⭐️ We had the “Memoria” menu with a wine pairing. I personally found the starters and desserts very good, but the mains were somewhat disappointing, the fish and chicken ravioli in particular. The wine pairing was interesting, however it included one too many biodynamic wines for my taste, two of which we found to be pretty sour. The interior is nicely decorated and the staff is nice and attentive, so I think it is still a good option for a fine dining experience in Alghero, but you can probably get better value for money elsewhere if you value taste above all else.
Irina I — Google review
La Saletta is not just a restaurant, it is a unique food experience. Using the best of local ingredients the chefs craft amazingly innovative dishes which surprise and delight. The staff are warm and welcoming and explained the contents of each course without pomposity. The wine pairing is well worth the extra and complimented the food. We ate here on a visit last year and often thought of the excellent meal throughout the year and undoubtedly we shall recall this meal throughout the coming year.
Brian K — Google review
La Saletta offers an exceptional six-course dining experience marked by elegance and creativity and takes you on a culinary adventure. The setting is sophisticated and inviting, perfect for a refined dining experience. Attentive and knowledgeable staff enhance the meal with expert explanations and recommendations. La Saletta is a top choice for those seeking an extraordinary meal, combining impeccable service with a brilliantly crafted menu. The dining experience at La Saletta is a luxurious one, with a price point reflecting its premium quality and exceptional service. It’s an investment in an unforgettable culinary journey.

One of the best meals I've ever had. (Including the best Rosé I've ever tasted.) Smart, compelling inventive dishes with a real sense of surprise and wonder. Celery Sorbet? A fresh Basil juice/sauce? Brilliant work. We were a tricky table, a coeliac who can't eat eggs and someone who doesn't eat fish, with one person ordering the default meal. They engaged enthusiastically to ensure everyone had a perfect experience. An absolute masterpiece, I've been lucky enough to eat in two Michelin star restaurants in the last month. This was better than either. Bravo!
Tiarnán B — Google review
My wife and I came here (in September 2022) as a recommendation from a hotel staff member at a resort we were staying at, and the experience we got at La Saletta was one of the highlights of our honeymoon. From the 1) lovely staff members, 2) the ambiance of the restaurant, 3) to the food, it was such a memorable evening. The staff members were professional, friendly, and very attentive. Especially the main hostess/waitress -- she played a big role in making the menu tasting experience lovely. The got us a complimentary dish and a welcome drink. The ambiance of the restaurant was exactly what we were looking for -- a fine dining experience that felt very approachable. We got a great seat, sitting right by the window to outside AND into the kitchen where we got to watch the Chef curate each dish like a surgeon. Watching a piece of art work in-the-making brought this experience to another level. Lastly, the food.. We opted for the tasting menu and not only was the display of the food amazing, but the taste was equally incredible. This was our last night in Alghero, and the previous couple of nights, we were disappointed with some of the other restaurants we went to in the town. They had great reviews online but the reality was different. La Saletta helped salvage our dining experience in Alghero. I highly recommend coming here for the tasting menu experience.
Will C — Google review
This place is magical. The chef is a pure genius. His creations are inventive yet approachable, and absolutely wondrous to eat. We tried the Rivoluzione (sp?) tasting menu with wine pairings, and it was a divine journey through so many wonderful flavors inspired by local foods and culture, and beautifully presented. My husband and I both agree this is the best meal we’ve ever had. Thank you so much to our waiter, the staff and chefs for an experience we’ll always remember. 🙏🏻

Café Del Principe is a modern and stylish spot that's perfect for starting your day with a delightful breakfast. The café offers an array of options including croissants, cappuccinos, and coffee in a charming setting. It's not just for breakfast though; it's also a great choice for lunch, an evening aperitivo, or simply enjoying a beer or cocktail.
We were having breakfast in Café del Principe every day for more than one week, during our stay at Coral Bay Charming House, as the accomodation has partnership with Café. And it was truly the best experience of typical Sardinian breakfast. We enjoyed freshly made croissants with amazing soya cappucino or black tea. Moreover it was nice experience seeing breakfast habbits of locals, their loudly chatting from early morning or reading newspapers. The staff was very friendly and accomodating.. Fully recommended for traditional Sardinian breakfast.

Bar Focacceria Milese is a must-visit spot in Alghero, located on a main street near the port. Since 1971, it has been delighting locals and tourists with its famous stuffed Sardinian focaccias. The Focaccia del Milese is a large bread filled with fresh tomatoes, tuna, hard-boiled eggs, anchovies, rocket salad, onions, pancetta (cured pork belly), and a special secret sauce.
We left Arzachena very early and arrived in Alghero absolutely starving. After trying to sit down elsewhere without luck, we found Bar Focacceria Milese, which had great Google reviews, and decided to give it a try. The place wasn’t too busy yet, so we chose to eat in. We had two Focaccia Milese, a café latte, and a freshly squeezed orange juice (spremuta)—everything was fresh and delicious. The bar was clean and had a toilet available, which was also very clean—always a plus when you’re traveling! We loved it so much, we came back at lunchtime, but the place was packed with a long queue, so we grabbed takeaway instead. I definitely recommend this spot—very affordable, all homemade, and full of flavor!
Thiago Z — Google review
Just great. Fabulous selection of tasty foccacia treats, only €3.50 a pop. Plenty of other stuff there too. We had 4 different ones over our stay and can't fault any. Helpful staff behind the counter, not so friendly at the till - probably just through volume of tourists they have to be nice to.
Marc B — Google review
Great price, super nice Sardinian focaccia, and they even have seadas for desert!! 1 focaccia 3,5€ and 1 beer 2,5€ and of great quality!!
Maria F — Google review
My only regret is that we did not find this focacceria earlier in our trip to Alghero! There is a consistent queue but it moves quickly and efficiently. They have a great variety of options that are made fresh throughout the day. And they also offer great baked goods! All for a very good price!
Kathryn S — Google review
Was a cool and friendly spot with a very cozy atmosphere. We ordered like four different focaccias and every one of them had it’s special taste. My favourite one was focaccia „Milese“. The prices were fine too.
Vani L — Google review
Our first meal in Alghero was this lunch place. This is a must visit. They have the best focaccia sandwiches and the prices are great too. We had 2 sandwiches and two glasses of Vermentino and it was under 15 euro. A lovely view of the marina completed the experience.
William C — Google review
Fixed prices for all focaccias, just five types of filling making it really easy to choose. High quality ingredients combined in a tasty meal. Great value for the price, highly recommended!

Ristorante The Kings is a stylish seaside restaurant in Alghero, Sardinia, offering romantic sunset views from its terrace. It is renowned for its focus on fish and seafood, using only the freshest ingredients to create dishes such as tuna, mussels, and red mullet soup. The restaurant's location on the Alghero bastions allows diners to enjoy beautiful sunsets while dining.
You sit next to the see, enjoying the sunset, amazing food - squid and vongole amazing - traditional wine per glass very good. A memorable night full of seafood flavors.

Romantic Dining with Unforgettable Views and Exceptional Service Ristorante The Kings is an absolute gem in the heart of old Alghero. The terrace offers a breathtaking view of the sunset over Capo Caccia — it’s the perfect romantic backdrop for a memorable evening. You can also enjoy people-watching and the live entertainers along the walkway, which adds to the lively and charming atmosphere. The service here truly stands out — warm, welcoming, and attentive, which isn’t something you can say about every restaurant in Sardinia. The staff were not only friendly but also highly knowledgeable about the menu, taking the time to explain ingredients and suggest pairings. This level of care made the experience feel genuinely special. The food was outstanding — both meat and shellfish dishes were beautifully presented and full of flavour. Everything was tasteful, elegant, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. It’s clear the chefs take pride in both the culinary craft and the visual appeal of each dish. If you're in Alghero, especially for a romantic evening or a special dinner, don’t miss The Kings — it lives up to its name.

What a wonderful experience! Delicious food - we ordered tonno, calamaro e cozze - it kept getting better as each dish arrived. Negroni spettacolare! Make sure to try a dolce!

Location is nice but totally a tourist trap. Went there for 3 sangrias at 8pm and paid 22€. Returned 3 hours later and were charged the same amount for 2 drinks with explanation that they raise prices in the evening! Not even sure if it’s legal… definitely won’t come back. Very disappointing.
Nadezda P — Google review
Pricey but tasty food. Good drinks. Amazing sunset if you can get there at the right time
Artic S — Google review
Let’s me start with the good thing, the service was good and friendly, however I can’t say the same for the food, we ordered two starters, for the price we paid we have some good expectations from it. one of the dishes is raw prawn(see the receipt for Italian name), it was plan and hardly taste any things. Then the main, one of the dish was nice and flavourful but the spaghetti dish was undercooked and hasn’t got nice flavour at all, before you said anything let me make it clear I’ve had many spaghetti dishes during this trip and many order trips in Italy so I have my expectations and know what it should taste like. Overall I’m so disappointed, it feels like they try/pretend to be fine dinning but failed the basic dishes.
D S — Google review
We can definitely recommend this restaurant. Very cozy environment well located with a sea view. The fish for main course was delightful and the Burrata for starters was made with love. Just a little comment to the service since the rosti potatoes we ordered as a side-order to the main course was served together with the starter’s and when the main course was served the potatoes were a little cold.
Torben L — Google review
We had terrible experience. They had offer for two aperol spritz’s for 14€ and table with hams included. When they saw that we (two young couples) approached and they asked if we would like to eat or just drink, (we said just drink) they took it down so we couldn’t use this offer anymore and they said it’s because this offer was time limited to exactly the time that we came. It’s a shame for restaurant like this on a promenade. The time was 19.40 with a sunset so if you want to sit there, just tell them you are going to eat. 🙂

La Piadina del Pozzo is a popular lunch spot in Alghero known for its delicious flatbread, salads, and sandwiches. The diner-style operation offers a variety of toppings and fillings to customize your meal. It's particularly popular with vegans and vegetarians due to the build-your-own options. The menu features piadinas and paninis with various meat, cheese, vegetable, and sauce choices. Customers recommend trying unique combinations for a surprising experience.
I wouldn’t really classify this place as “fast food”, they have the typical flat bread (piadina) sandwiches that they make on the spot with fresh ingredients. You can choose a ready made sandwich or even a custom one, and you do have to wait for until it’s ready, especially if you go at lunch/dinner time. But it’s a great option if you are in a rush. I believe they do have seating but there were no available seats when I was there.
Patricia S — Google review
Great place, with fresh food. Very nice and helpful service. Piadina was delicious.
Krystian — Google review
A true taste of Italy at La Piadina Del! During my recent trip, I had the pleasure of dining at La Piadina Del, and it turned out to be one of the culinary highlights of my visit. From the moment I walked in, I could sense the authentic Italian atmosphere: warm, welcoming staff, the inviting smell of freshly baked piadina bread, and a charming interior that blends rustic and modern touches. I ordered a classic piadina with prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, and arugula, and it was absolutely delicious. The bread was perfectly thin and crispy on the outside, yet soft on the inside, which is exactly how a traditional piadina should be. Every ingredient tasted fresh and full of flavor, and it was clear that quality and authenticity are top priorities here. Beyond the food, what made my experience truly memorable was the service. The staff took the time to explain the menu, suggest pairings, and share the story behind some of their recipes. It felt like more than just a meal — it was a small journey into the heart of Italian street food culture. The atmosphere was casual yet stylish, making it perfect for a quick lunch or a relaxed evening bite. I also appreciated how clean and well-organized everything was, from the kitchen area to the dining space. If you’re looking to taste real, honest Italian food made with love and care, La Piadina Del is a must-visit. I left with a full stomach and a smile on my face, already planning to come back. Highly recommended!

It's a perfect place to relax with a refreshing spritz or fruit juice during the day or night. The bar also serves espresso coffee and traditional Sardinian liquor mirto, which can be enjoyed from its terrace overlooking the harbor and the sea of Alghero.
The food and drinks were delicious and the stuff was friendly, nice and polite. We had nice and comfortable (also money-vise) dinner there. Recommend!

This spot has a great view of the marina, and I imagine on a nice hot day that it is the perfect location as there was ample outdoor seating but with umbrellas and the building shielding the sun a fair amount of the afternoon. Just had lite bites, but they were good and the beer and wine hit the spot. Careful- the outdoor seating was a bit wet from the night before. Nothing unbearable, but they don’t offer a solution for that. Overall, good experience.

Amazing place to get cocktails in Alghero. They are reasonably priced, lots of options, and they taste great! The service is really good. They are quick to take your order even when busy and drinks come relatively fast. The waiters/waitresses are also very friendly. Cant speak too much on food as I mainly went here to get drinks but the ham toastie I had was nice.
Joseph A — Google review
Sat ourselves as three girls standing less than a foot away we're too busy chatting and on their phones to acknowledge us. Fetched our own drinks menu as they weren't inclined to provide one. Toilets were filthy, no loo roll, asked at the bar and was given napkins, this is the level the bar functions at.

Our favourite place in Alghero. Really friendly staff who speak good English. Great selection of drinks and cocktails which are fairly priced at €8. Good complimentary snacks and great view of the harbour. Comfortable seats both in the sun or shade. We came back several times

An extremely nice location. It has a lovely view of the harbor and Capo Caccia. People are ok, too. But don't expect to eat breakfast at 9.30am. They have only ”colazione”, which means croissants or muffins, with coffe. In fact, in Alghero, I haven't found anything that offers a ”real” breakfast. All in all, a good location for a successful morning!

Fascinating cafe just one street away from the old city. Colorful and wide array of typical Italian pastries like different kinds of cannoli, pies (like the famous Ricottella) and other treats. Nostalgic atmosphere that brings us back to the classic patisseries of XIXth century.

Just outside the old city, this lovely pastry shop is clearly a local favorite. The pastries were excellent, and the cappuccino was truly worth the stop. The place was full of people on their morning routines, which gave it an authentic and lively atmosphere. As visitors, we did notice our coffees took a bit longer to arrive compared to others who came in after us—perhaps a reflection of the morning rush and regulars on their way to work. Still, it was a great experience overall.

Has to send one back several times because it was basically rare despite asking for “very very very well done” the chips were cold and on both plates the salad was just lettuce with 2 bits of tomato and a slice of lemon ….. I asked for rice on the side as I’m allergic to potatoes and the man said of course it’s okay. The rice never manifested. And we left hungry because who wants just lettuce and cold chips? :/

A café offering delicious meals. Located on Alghero's main avenue, in a charming setting of flowers and palm trees, we opted for seafood, and it was the perfect choice. The mussels were fresh and well-seasoned, the squid delicately crispy and very tasty – fried in fresh oil. The pasta was al dente, prepared just as it should be in a Sardinian restaurant, and the delicious, juicy local shrimp were a classic at its finest. I highly recommend this place for a pleasant time.

Too expensive and bad coffee! The location is beautiful and the service was nice, but unfortunately the pastries were terrible and so was the cappuccino. It’s the most expensive I’ve paid for a normal italian breakfast anywhere in Alghero! Not recommended!!

We stopped by for coffee and seada (with honey), totally worth it! Great location and friendly service. 🍯🍪
Zsófi R — Google review
The food was very much below standard with Caprese sandwiches being served cold in transparent cheap plastic and with white bread almost impossible to chew. The Ravioli was eatable but mainly consisted of ravioli and tomato sauce. No food love was added. The service was OK.

Found a very long piece of black thick hair in my pasta (I’m blonde) and pointed it out the staff. Owner came out and was very rude accusing it of being my hair. Also, completely shortly after this incident we watched the owner yell at a man with a baby and dog who was walking by for putting a bag of dog poop in his trash can. This owner seems to have some anger issues. Not a nice guy. Makes his living off of tourists but seems to hate them.

Keep walking if you’re reading this. I had a pizza, it was embarrassingly awful. Had a drink that was mostly ice and only half a glass worth. The hosts were clearly having a disagreement with each other which made for an awkward atmosphere. Only positive was the view.

Wonderful lunch with a group of 8 people. The staff were accommodating and attentive. We ordered a variety of dishes from pasta to seafood from the menu and all enjoyed. Very good value for lunch or dinner.

Disappointed... 30 minutes or more for two F...... dishes, for two pastas(we where the only table - 2 people). Linguine Allo Scoglio and Spaghetti Alla Carbonara. ME AS A CHEF with MISE EN PLACE like chef should have, 5 minutes 10min max, Ok I'll give you 20 minutes; I'm nice. However, I wouldn't complain if the food was fine, just fine, again I'm modest. Linguini edible big portion tho, but guys Carbonara was DREADFUL. I was really hungry and I tried, I tried really hard and I just couldn't.. Pasta was overcooked and eggs coagulated big time, if ITALIAN chef don't know how to temper eggs to get silky NOT scrambled egg pasta then it's time to go back to school again. On the top of everything we paid €4 "Coperto/servizio" , seriously??? One star is only for a position of the restaurant (cool breeze).

Ordered 3 cocktails not mocktails . They used to be good what happened? And the frosty looking Olives I have been to this bar numerous times . You let me down. Nix

This place is multi-functional. It has a restaurant that serves basics, such as pasta, pizza and hamburger and a juice bar that serves smoothies, fruit juice and other cold and hot drinks. It has an indoor space with a few casually placed tables and a sidewalk terrace. I had a pasta with seafood from the inexpensive lunch menu. It was passable but hardly exciting. It looked OK when it arrived, but the taste was underwhelming and much of the seafood - and the olive oil - was of low quality. Instead of dessert, I ordered a fruit smoothie. While expensive at 5 Euros a pop, it was worth every single penny. The fruit was fresh and there were no added sweeteners. My recommendation is to skip the food, but definitely visit for the excellent juice.

Maracaibo cocktail bar is a popular spot set back from the beachfront, offering a lively atmosphere with salsa and hip-hop music. It's known for its themed nights and party vibe, making it perfect for a fun evening out. The bar serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee, and drinks with live music. It's suitable for groups, friends, and even children with outdoor seating available. Visitors can enjoy delicious cocktails with creative presentations while taking in the beachfront views.
Went to Maracaibo for drinks before dinner with a group of four girls. The location is gorgeous, right on the beach. Amazing atmosphere. We got four cocktails which were delicious and so unique, well priced too at €8-10. To our total surprise we also got a gorgeous plate of sushi included with our drinks!! Couldn’t recommend more!!

I am sorry to say but cocktails made here look like the ones you can make at home by yourself :/ Not worth it to go to the bar and pay 10 Euros. Service miserable, staff walking around like you are dead to them. In half empty bar. Once they see you, you ask for menu....answer is "scan QR code on the table and order there". Sorry for bothering you people. Except the nice view there is nothing for what I will give even 1 star.
Monika R — Google review
We spent here 3 before dinner time. We felt always welcome, with smile and served quickly with drinks. We loved the music there. I saved many songs to my favorite Playlist. Happy to come back anytime and fully recommend to everyone try. Thank you, Maracaibo staff and DJ.
Marcela S — Google review
We came here many times, the place is very beautiful with wonderful views to the sea. In the evening there's a dj set with nice electronic music. Another issue is a service - it's the worse I've ever experienced in Alghero. Very rude and unprofessional + in a such a touristic place the personnel should speak bare minimum English. If u want to have a pleasant experience DO NOT COME HERE
Hanna B — Google review
This is an extremely popular spot for people of all ages who are looking for an nice drink in a beautiful venue overlooking the beach. The wine we had was quite cheap on price (4 euros for a full glass) but generous in amount and taste. We saw a cocktail served in a bathtub being brought to the table behind us. It even had foam!!! 🛁 We've passed by many nights and the music was always very nice. In particular there's a deejay that could compete with some of the best ones I have seen playing in much more reknown bars. The only challenge of this place is to be able to find a spot where to stay. But that's also part of its charm!
Francesco B — Google review
Mesmerising view. Wonderful bar with music and good vibes. Free snacks, tasty cocktails. The place to be during sunset
Mana E — Google review
We went here a lot during our stay since it was right next to our hotel and literally a few steps from the beach. Beautiful outdoor setup with great decor, comfy chairs, DJ booth, bar, toilets, and a big selection of drinks and cocktails. We tried several, and they were honestly great every time. There’s also some food—mostly toasts and snacks—which were okay, not amazing, but fine for a beach bar. The only strange part was the service: out of six different staff members we interacted with, four seemed very serious and hard to read, like they were annoyed or just not having a good time. It made us wonder if we’d done something wrong. One day I went over from the beach shirtless just to order a drink to go (not even sitting down), and after doing that a few times, I was finally told on the third visit that shirtless wasn’t allowed. Fair enough—but if that’s the rule, maybe take my order from outside instead of just waving me away with a hand gesture. Still, despite the serious faces, the place has a lot going for it—almost open all day, events every day, great drinks, great location. We’d definitely come back for the cocktails.

Al Cafferino is a charming café that offers a tempting array of Italian classics like cannoli, alongside international favorites such as croissants, pain-au-chocolat, and cinnamon rolls. Situated opposite a school, the café provides a pleasant ambiance with the sound of children playing outside complementing the clinking of crockery behind the bar. The flaky pastries with creamy fillings are highly recommended and are served quickly by the friendly staff.

Adjacent to it, Gelateria Arcobaleno serves delicious homemade ice cream. The cafe's interior is charming and historical, with polite and friendly staff providing great service.
Can't comment on the food but the beer is good and great service from a charismatic waiter. That said, we later found he'd charged us for an extra beer we didn't spot. Loads of free snacks though which probably outweighed it.

Please avoid this place as far better in Alghero..Very averge food. Pizza came semi warm..lacking flavour and Cotelleta was overcooked and dry. Service so poor and lack of attention. Plus add €4 copperto charge ontop of €7 FOR no service at all. Had to get up to request bill after waiting ages and plates left uncleaned on table anrd then had to get up to request payment..I went to complain to manageress and she did not want to listen to my feedback and instead got defensive and said what do you expect this is italy. Shame as our experience of Alghero food and restaurants has been great except this one was awful.

Busy spot near the harbour. Staff could do with a bit of training. Food order consisted of lasagne and a pizza. Lasagne was bland to say the least , not what you would expect from an Italian restaurant. Tasted better pizza from some of the local takeaways As for stopping in for a coffee !! G&G bar caffè is a local café with an authentic atmosphere and welcoming staff. It's a popular spot among locals, evident from the outdoor tables filled with regulars. The coffee here is highly praised for its great quality and artful presentation. Prices are reasonable, making it a good choice for enjoying delicious cappuccinos and cold beverages like shakerato. The café also offers various types of cornetti, including Nutella-filled ones that are popular among kids.
Great local coffee with local regulars. Excellent coffee and fresh baked pastries in the morning.

We checked the reviews as we wanted a nice coffee and we weren't disappointed. There were locals outside on the tables so that was a good sign. We ordered a cappuccino and a cappuccino freddo and both were delicious and looked like works of art when they arrived. The prices weren't unreasonable either.
Luke R — Google review
Great coffee, good prices. For a cold beverage I would recommend shakerato.

Yummy, super nice terrace and very nice service 😊

Such a lovely place with nice staff and perfect coffee

Great coffee with tasty croissants.
Jiří M — Google review
Good ice coffee, but did not have working payment service for cards (cash only) so therefore low review. We had to go to an ATM to withdraw cash for this only! Very annoying.
Andreas J — Google review
This was tagged as a local cafe. Great espresso, pulled a little longer (not a ristretto, so ask if that's what you want) €1.20, and all types of cornetti €1.30 (croissants) the chocolate were Nutella filled, the kids had to have x2 each!

(Translated by Google) Every time I return to Alghero to visit family, I always enjoy going to the Agorá café for the excellent aperitifs and breakfasts and also for the excellent service. This last time, however, I had a big disappointment: the aperitif was very poor (a mini bowl of chips and peanuts) but, even more importantly, the place was really dirty (both the room and the bathroom _ where among the (otherwise the sink tap has been broken for over a year). I believe that the lack of cleanliness and hygiene is always intolerable, but even more so in the current situation. Friends and family have had the same impression as us in recent days, further confirming that our experience was not an isolated one. We definitely won't be back, reluctantly.

(Translated by Google) Bad experience. They don't know how to make cappuccinos and they know little about cappuccino. Croissants are frozen. Maybe it's the worst cream brioches I've eaten. The environment is saved and the bathrooms are also really clean. Fast service. There are a few other bars nearby. (Original) Brutta esperienza. I cappuccini non li sanno fare e sanno poco di cappuccino. Brioches sono surgelati. Forse è la peggiore brioches alla crema che io abbia mangiato. L'ambiente si salva e i bagni anche davvero puliti. Servizio veloce. In vicinanze ci sono pochi altri bar.

(Translated by Google) Good coffee shop and nice location. Unfortunately, for some, courtesy is not always at home: let's start with the greeting which, in my opinion, should be cordial and ritual even if you are not "friends". This is a flaw that should be remedied😇 (Original) Buona caffetteria e bella location. Purtroppo, per alcuni, non sempre la cortesia è di casa: cominciamo con il saluto che, a parer mio, dovrebbe essere cordiale e di rito anche se non si è "amici". Questa è una pecca che andrebbe sanata😇

Absolutely excellent! We went here three days in a row when we visited Alghero.

I visited this café on three consecutive mornings during my stay in Alghero, and each time was a pleasure. The staff were fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and always serving with a smile. By the third visit, they even remembered my order, which was a lovely personal touch. The coffee was the best I had in the area, perfectly complemented by warm, delicious pastries. A wonderful way to start the day—highly recommended!
Hamdi O — Google review
We visited this cafe several times and loved it! We stayed at Panta Rei, which has a free breakfast arrangement with this cafe. However, we would have eaten here every day anyway because the cappuccinos are excellent and there is a good variety of baked goods which were all absolutely delicious. We especially liked the apple tart, the pecan braid and the pistachio croissant. To top it off, the people that work there are really lovely. They are friendly, sweet, and so thoughtful. I left my Trader Joe’s hand sanitizer there by mistake and they happily returned it to me the next day. Great food, wonderful service and cute atmosphere.

Caffè ViaXX is a charming café located at Via XX Settembre 219 in Alghero, Italy. It offers a variety of options for breakfast, including vegan and gluten-free choices such as pastries and sandwiches. The café also serves freshly squeezed fruit juices, artisanal beers, and aperitifs. With its beautiful veranda, it provides a lovely setting to enjoy the morning with coffee and cakes or to unwind with an Aperitif before lunch.
Our favourite breakfast spot! We love their sandwiches and cornettos and coffee was so delightfully strong and full of aroma! Don’t forget about freshly squeezed orange juice!

We came as a group of 10 for brunch on a beautiful Saturday morning. Unfortunately, the food and drinks arrived one by one, very slowly — I had finished eating 30 minutes before two of my Friends, who haven’t even got their crêpe. Apparently, you also need to pay extra to get a smile from the staff. We did ask for explanation and one of the waiter apologised, but we had to ask… On the plus side, the pistachio coffee was excellent, the crêpes taste good and they do offer several gluten-free options.
Florine C — Google review
Plenty of tasteful croissants to choose from (vegan, gluten free options too) and amazing coffee.
Eva S — Google review
Gluten free options available for breakfast which made my life a bit easier considering that is really difficult to find gluten free pastries in Italian bars. The pastry itself was ok-ish, is frozen and they took it from the freezer so is not actually "fresh" but was nice to hear they had gluten and vegan options available. Cappuccino and latte macchiato were ok, we paid 6€ in total for 2 pastries Cappuccino and latte. Staff is lovely!
